    At the end of the day, Asurion, AT&T, and SimplyMacs has proven why they truly are at the top of their game!!! They not only exceeded my expectations but they were able to made an unsettling experience well worth it in the end. I am quite pleased with everyone involved in the repair/replacement of my device through AT&T’s Home Warranty Device Plan. U Break I Fix was helpful, professional, and explained what to expect when I inquired further about not being particularly satisfied with the unfortunate option I faced of replacing my device with two “choices” that seemed to differ in speed and build quality. However, once I received my replacement, I couldn’t be more impressed with the care put into protecting my new device during shipping and the presentation was spectacular complete with a keyboard cover, A/C adapter, and a lovely Smokey gray cover! Way to go! I am beyond HAPPY and VERY PLEASED!!! Thank you.

    Overall, I was pleased with the speed with which my claim was handled. However, my replacement options were quite limited (only two choices that were almost exactly the same) which made my choice not much of a choice. I would have preferred to speak to someone about what was important to me concerning Processor Speed and Memory Size. Also, it would have been nice to have known what to expect when selecting these replacement options.

    Absolutely worth getting Asurion with each phone that I purchased. Unfortunately, only BLU can repair their phones' cracked screens, which starts at $80. Then they might add more fees for more parts after they receive it. Asurion deductible is $39. I only paid $200. So no need to pay a 50% of the original price. This Asurion will give me an Amazon credit if they can't fix it. So I'll get a new phone.

    This is a wonderful insurance plan that has taken the bite out of certain repairs. I believe in the long run it either paid for itself has come very close to paying for itself. And what I mean by taking the bite out of certain repairs is that paying monthly is better than paying for a new screen on a MacBook pro or some other major damage to a laptop computer.

    The TV stopped working. The repairmen replaced a new part, got it working, but discovered there were a vertical and a horizontal line across the screen. When they called Asurion, they were told to send the new parts back, that the customer would have 2 Orions to choose from. Either he’d receive a new TV unit or be reimbursed. Asurion told the repairman the customer would receive the reimbursement check, if that option was chosen, in about 2 weeks.

    I have been paying Asurion for a few years. A few days ago I filed a complaint, which was approved after I paid my deductible of $250 and I was told I will receive my phone the next day. It’s has been a few days and each day I call they say that they will send it out that day and I will receive an email. I can no longer keep waiting and guessing when will I receive my phone. I feel forced to purchase the same phone at its full price. I will not recommend them for phone and definitely not for home insurance. If they can’t handle a simple phone claim, they will not be liable to reimburse or pay if something would happen to your home. They are more like scammers. Will charge you monthly with nothing in return.

    I had trouble figuring out which protection plan was for my Fitbit because I have several different plans in my emails. The email only shows the order number of the plan, the purchase date and the range of the cost of the item purchased. You need to add the item description onto the protection plan email.     The experience I had to report a problem with my LG Craft Ice Maker to getting it fixed within the same week was Super-Fast and Easy!! I am so very happy we purchased the protection plan since the Craft Ice Maker was equipment new to the market. I have had issues with the ice maker twice, the first time was about a year after purchasing and then again a few weeks before the warranty expired.     It has been a frustrating five months trying to get Asurion to credit my ** account for my two cell phone trade-ins since March 2024. I filed a BBB complaint on June 24, 2024, after three attempts in June with ** and Asurion to credit my account. Asurion stated that they applied credit for both phones even though the records showed only one credit was applied for the first phone. ** management tried repeatedly to contact Asurion management but to no avail. Asurion could not provide any proof or transaction tracking number for **, BBB, or me.

    It will take another nine more attempts and mid-August before Asurion (VW from Asurion Regulatory Complaints) applied the credit for the second phone. VW refused to apologize for not being truthful, misleading BBB, and failing to apply the credit. ** apologized and said that the management failed to fix a simple task, especially Asurion’s mistake in March and June when Asurion used the same code twice (IME) from the first phone credit causing a duplication in the system. Lesson learned from this terrible experience was that Asurion management (VW) was arrogant, lazy, and doesn’t accept responsibility for their mistakes.

    I have told any and everybody who will listen about this multi-device protection plan, it’s saved my ** many times since I first found it. That was when it only covered electronics and it was an incredible lifesaver then but now that it covers furniture, toys, household items, jewelry etc I’m just blown away. I’m still waiting for Asurion to realize what they’re doing and cancel the whole thing, it’s just too good to be true lol. Extremely smart for them and for Amazon for the fact that I will not ever buy these items, but especially electronics, from anywhere else every again now so that everything will be included in the coverage. They locked me in willingly with that one.

    For $16.99 a month it has saved me from massive loses- my 55 inch tv, an iPad, Acer laptop, my Apple Pencil FOUR times, other tablets, multiple Alexa devices and security cameras, and other smaller items. All that and I’ve never had one single issue with any of the claims, process, payment, coverage, nothing. Like I said it’s been too good to be true. (The ONLY negatives are that the claim window was if you bought it within the last THREE years when I first enrolled and now it’s only up to one year.., but that’s still much better than any other plans since they don’t cover preowned anything. I also wish they’d incorporate AI into the online claims process as it never has the item listed correctly and has always had issues since I first signed up years ago… if they did a massive overhaul on that process it’d be straight gold all around.)

    Asurion Home Device Protection Plan is great. If something breaks, you fill out simple paperwork, then they let you know if your item can be repaired/replaced, or just reimbursed. In my case for my Home theater they reimbursed the money so I can go out and buy a new one. It's also fast. Every time I submitted something there was a response first thing the next morning. Start to finish the process was about 4 days. Submit claim, next day submit photos, next day better photos (my fault), and Claim Facilitation form, and next day their decision of whether to replace, fix, or reimburse. Simple.

    I have had an appalling experience with Asurion’s warranty service. As a first-time claimant, I submitted all required paperwork and followed their instructions precisely. Despite this, my claim was unjustly rejected without any clear explanation. The final letter I received simply stated my claim was denied, which felt like a blatant dismissal of my legitimate request. I expected a fair evaluation and transparent communication, but instead, I encountered evasive responses and what seemed like intentional obfuscation.

    When I sought further resolution on a Friday, I was assured that everything could be resolved by contacting the claims review department after the weekend. However, once I attempted to reach them on Monday, I was blocked from doing so and instructed to resubmit my claim. Since there was no mechanism to resubmit a rejected claim, the employee had to do this. Once they were done, the claims review department had closed. This unnecessary delay could have been avoided if they had informed me of this on my initial call and resubmitted the claim then.

    This constant deflection and evasion are completely unacceptable. It is clear that Asurion’s handling of claims is not only inefficient but also deliberately obstructive. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and a resolution process that reflects integrity. I strongly urge others to be cautious when considering Asurion’s warranty service. Based on my experience, their practices are deceptive and their service is profoundly unsatisfactory.

    Unfortunate accident with my iPad Air that had me scrambling to get repair service through Asurion. Since it's a cellular device I quickly contacted and filed for a claim but unfortunately the device "needed to be on the service" in order to be claimed. Meaning it needed to be using the cellular service, since I was at home it was on my home wifi - NOT COVERED.

    Dismayed I started looking through my account started to stress about taking it to Apple and I came across my Home Protect Plan! Called the number, explained my situation and was told "Yup we cover that". When I tell you how happy I was (not to mention how happy the daughter that caused the damage was) I cannot understate how happy I was to have this service.

    A few questions answered and the rep had me on my way to replacing my device. I literally just had to drop off at UPS store... no packing, no finding a box, no printing a label, just brought device and QR code, beep...they take care of the rest. Few days later...text asking me to choose my replacement...and the rest is yet to be seen.     Every step of the way it has been nothing but problems with this company. Too many problems to explain, as I am exhausted from their nonsense. Just know, that it is day 16 without a refrigerator with no end in sight. Four assignments and reassignments between two companies because Asurion messed up and reassigned it to the wrong company the first time. Their notes are inaccurate. So very frustrating. No one will help. They just say that they can keep doing this process indefinitely, as there is no requirement on time limits for the repairs to be completed. They just don’t care.

    Asurion has been my policy provider for cell phone insurance with Verizon previously and AT&T currently. I’ve only had great experience in the past when it came to my phones, especially when an agent came to my home within a week of me giving birth to my son the same day my iPhone broke. Fast Forward a few years later, I buy/add on the Home Tech Protection Plan to my monthly AT&T Mobile account. We added more Smart TVs, electronic devices, etc in our new home and my AT&T rep told me about the policy.

    Initially I pushed the policy aside and after making a cell claim a year later I finally pulled the trigger because the value of the policy palled in comparison to the value of the electronics in my home. Just for starters, I have 2 iMacs, WiFi office jet printers, Go Pros, 2 regular smart TVs, 4 Samsung QA LED Smart TVs 55” or bigger smart TVs, home audio in the ceilings, security cams, remote control Hiku Big ** Fans, and a plethora of other Tech, A/V items that would be too long to list here.

    Boy am I glad I enrolled and bought the policy 1.5 years ago. My husband complained to me I was wasting money each month on the $25 premium added to our cell phone bill. Last month one of our $2,000 Samsung TV’s displays was damaged during a power outage. Asurion made the whole claim process easy from start to end. The icing on the cake is there customer service reps are great whether dealing with them in person or over the phone like I did with this claim.

    I wouldn’t go with another Tech or cell phone protection insurance company over Asurion. When hurricane Beryl came through Houston the power in my condominium went off and on multiple times.     I bought an Extreme power pool pump from Amazon 7/22. At that time we also purchased the 3 year warranty. The pump had an issue and stopped working 6/26/24.     I bought a Clyde extended warranty for an air purifier. The unit died listen two years after I purchased it. I contacted Clyde and they referred me to Asurion as the claims processor. I filed a claim with Asurion, and received a prompt response suggesting that I try to find a technician to repair the unit at their expense. I was unable to find such a technician, and after I informed Asurion of this, they sent me a check for the full purchase price of the unit. I could not be more satisfied.

    After writing this review, Asurion responded a number of days later and the return process magically worked properly. The re-replacement device was received overnight and the 1800 Call Center Rep. verified the IMEI was "clean" and did all the right activation steps. I've used Asurion for years and will continue doing so, and hopefully this is a rare problem.

    I've used Asurion for over 10 years, with 2 prior claims. Both of which were handled quickly and efficiently. Now a 3rd claim, is absolutely enraging after 5 weeks. Asurion sent a fraud locked phone as a replacement device for a Verizon line. I have lied to the touch tone number multiple times in order to talk to an actual person. I still don't have a replacement phone that can make or receive a cell call and have spent multiple hours on hold. And if that wasn't enough, the first rep tried to upsell me to a home electronics insurance program.

    Very deceptive sales plan. Sales people tell you things are covered that are not. I was told accidental damage on tv was covered and then when you try to make a claim it is denied because it was accidental damage. Waste of money!

    I purchased Asurion insurance through an AT&T promo on Feb 13. The next day, Feb 14, my wife’s phone was stolen in Las Vegas during a convention. I contacted AT&T, who directed me to Asurion. Initially, my claim was approved, and a replacement phone was shipped. However, it was delayed and then returned to Asurion by FedEx.

    After calling Asurion for over an hour, they advised me to file a new claim. My account was then flagged for filing two claims within 24 hours, leading to repeated 48-hour freeze periods. Despite providing all requested information (ID photos, attestations), my claims were repeatedly rejected without clear explanations. I spent over 10 hours on the phone over 5 days, dealing with numerous agents who could not explain the denials or connect me with adjusters. Finally, an internal team revealed that the claims were denied due to the date of policy activation versus the date of the claim, despite assurances from both Asurion and AT&T that the claim was valid. I was misled into believing I was eligible for coverage, leading to significant wasted time and frustration.

    According to the terms and conditions, I should be covered. There is no reason why I should be turned away after fulfilling all requirements. The handling of my case has been extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I demand either a replacement phone or a refund for the months I have paid for this service. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel deceived and wronged by your company’s mishandling of my claims.

    Being misled multiple times, put on hold for hours, and not receiving clear answers is unacceptable. I trusted Asurion to provide a safety net in times of need, and instead, I faced obstacles and poor customer service at every step. The stress and inconvenience caused have been immense. Immediate action is required to resolve this issue fairly.
