I had lightning strike my house which hit the DISH receiver and the cables outside. When I had it installed, they had to run the coax outside because I was using the indoor cable for TWC internet. Anyway, I found out they do not ground the system. Technician said, "We are not electricians, we don't ground." Getting back to the lightning, the cables fried inside and outside setting my couch, carpet and wall on fire. If I didn't have a fire extinguisher the house would have burned down. Needless to say, I canceled my DISH and returned to TWC. The cables are underground and grounded. After I canceled, I asked them to remove the cables and DISH and they ignored my requests. (I didn't want that to happen again.) I had to remove everything myself and add insult to injury, I had to pay for shipping to return the two dish boxes even after I was told they will waive the shipping! I am happy to be back with TWC, no DISH for me, EVER! I will gladly pay more for TWC!

I left Dish several years ago. Afterwards I received telephone calls daily or every other day. Same with emails I would get 2 emails from Dish in one day. For the past few years, I get mail to my house every single week. This is harassment!

I have a 2nd TV that my kids took over to use mostly for video games. I originally had it set up for TV programming. Come to find out that when I got a new TV and wanted to use it for regular TV viewing, the signal had been shut off although I was still being charged for 2nd TV programming. When I complained to Dish Net, they could not correct the problem via chat and verified that I had been paying for 2nd TV programming all along. They then wanted to send over a tech for $90 charge to reprogram receiver. I said, "no--reduce my bill to 1 TV." They then said they would send tech for free. Wondering if sat networks double dip by charging for inactive auxiliary TVs people are paying for. Something fishy about all this.

Contacted Dish in November 2013. Representative offered me 12 mo at a fixed rate. I have transcripts of conversation. After 3 months the bill increased 50.00. I contacted dish about this and the conversation escalated to their "office of the president". Was told I needed to provide transcript which I did and never heard back. After 12 months of dealing with this and yet another price increase I called and cancelled which sent me to the office of the president again. I explained my situation and was then told that I would owe 360.00 early termination fee. I explained to the rep that I thought there should be some form of adjustment due to the circumstance and was told to have a nice day. So even after providing documentation of the promises, this company refuses to acknowledge or honor what their representative stated, and refuses to make any form of adjustment. So at the end of the day, paying 360.00 in early term fees is better than having to deal with a shyster company like Dish network.

Right off the bat, I do not want to lose service. I was notified by the owner of the park I live in that the Dish was not allowed in the location it was put. After 3 tech visits it was determined the current location was the ONLY location with signal. I even signed up a referral but have to cancel service. My problem is the lack of compassion of these people. No break on cancellation fees (even though I signed up a customer). They want $440 to cancel. NEWS FLASH DISH: My contract says $220 ($10 per month for remaining contract). I am simply appalled as to the non compassion toward most of the previous complaints I have read. Do not understand how an agreement can be so one-sided. We have to follow it to the T, but they can change anything and everything if they please. I would rather pay regular rates from day 1 and have no agreement to sign. Other aggravations include unprofessional CSRs, double talk robotic conversations, HOURS on the phone getting promised promotional gifts.

They just won't get it I don't want their DAMN service...and they call. I made one mistake on asking about their pricing...and they call. I had three family members killed in a car accident and told them to leave me alone...I did not want to be bothered by them especially at this time and they keep calling. I ask for a supervisor, he assures me my number has been removed and they call and they call and they call....on and on and on.

I would not have this service if they gave it to me free for life! Today I advised them that I am going to the FCC...I have collected my cell phone log for the last THREE months, highlighted their calls, when I asked the supervisor to remove me and today's call. I advised the gentleman who answered that if they call me just one more time I am turning them into the FCC and I will. I have blocked their numbers and still they call advising them I was turning them in...GOD give me a rest...I will make sure that everyone I talk to knows how much this company sucks.....and I will post it on my face book to share with 1600 other folks as well as my professional network. I will tell them my story....to BEWARE of DISH!! My tech told me they sucked...their reviews says they suck...so I wanted no part of them. Now they are cramming it down my throat!

Dish is a hot mess. If they knowingly mischarged you or say you lose all DVR programming due to equipment malfunction they sometimes credit your account or offer you movie vouchers but get to a very small limit of these "credits" in the calendar year, of Dish fixing their own mistakes and they tell you there is nothing they can do for you and they will be able to issue any credits the new calendar year for any new issues not withstanding ones. Dish don't put caps on your own ridiculous service. If it's your fault, you OWE me. Like for example, when you just got into a contract fight with Turner but didn't want to pay their asking price for over 7 popular channels, you knowingly charged all your subscribers all those days those channels were missing (and your representative called Turner shady). You knew exactly what you were doing. You owe every Dish customer a credit on their bill and you know it. Shady company.

For the past 3 months I have been trying to resolve the slow internet speed issue with the Dishnet customer service. After speaking to customer service 3 times now, I have come to a conclusion that these people don't know what they are doing. In the state of Colorado, they have tied up with CenturyLink, which was not mentioned to me beforehand when signing the contract. Now every time I call Dishnet, they keep me holding and talk to Century Link and do something to increase up the download speed.

Here is the history of call I made to Dishnet Customer Service: Agent - Pamela ** ID: ** ** Called up on 08/23/2014 7:09 pm. Internet download speed was 2.65 Mbps and after speaking it was improved to 8.68 Mbps. Got in agreement with Pamela that this happens two more times, the service will be discontinued and the Early Termination Fee (ETF) money will be refunded. Called up on 11/22/2014 11:08 am. Called Pamela again and left a VM mentioning the download speed is very low. Asked to call back. Never heard back from her, till date. Called up again and spoke with Kevin, 11:20 am Extn ** Download Speed - 2.64 Mbps, Upload Speed - 0.93 Mbps. Reran and the download speed went down to 1.40 Mbps. After sometime, the download speed improved to 6.72 Mbps and upload speed to 0.81 Mbps.

Called on 11/28/2012 at 6.34 pm, spoke to Marcos, for the same reason. The download speed was 2.64 Mbps. Now after 3 times, I asked to talk to Marcos' supervisor and was transferred to Mona. Let me tell you Mona is the most arrogant lady I have spoken with so far. She was not even acknowledging the fact there is something wrong with the download speed. I have been asking to terminate my account as I have been fed up with these people for the worst service experience, without being charged ETF. Why are these people behind my money? Do not sign-up for DishNet or do it at your own risk.

A year ago I called Dish after DirecTV doubled our monthly rate. Dish offered me a two year contract for $54.00 per month. I wanted to reduce the cost so I also downgraded the service. A few months ago I noticed that my fees were increased to over $70.00, I call the Dish customer and after an hour or so she told me she had no Idea why my rate increased, she promised to reduce the rate and make sure it would not happen again. After DISH lost CNN and other Turner channels, which we were really interested on, I called to find out what they were going to do about it. I ended up talking to three different agents. First agent just told me that I only received a courtesy discount and ignored the fact I told her I signed a two year contract, like a good little Robot, she kept repeating that I was lucky to get the courtesy discount. I asked to talk to a supervisor, the next agent was not even as articulate as the Robot, she told me that Dish did not have a two year contract anyway that I would not have been getting a two year contract at all. (So she was telling me that I was lying) I had enough of that, I asked very politely to talk to her supervisor.

A guy name Richard came on line and right off the bat, he told me that he was listening to the whole conversation and that there was not a two year contract, and all Dish network agreements are for one year. After another 30 minutes back and forth he told me, "Ok here is what I am going to do for you, I will extend another 3 months of courtesy discount for you." I thanked him for his generosity, I told him since Dish did not have a two year contract according to him and the last supervisor, I would rather cancel my account and move on. He said "fine, when you want the service discontinued."

At this time he started talking really fast. I asked him to slow down and explain everything again, he told me how to return the boxes and asked for the address, as if he did not have it. But he left one factor out, and that was that he was charging me $280 cancellation fee. So when I asked him about any further obligation, he said, "oh sorry, yes, since you are cancelling your two year contract, there will be $280 cancellation fee." Interesting since he and the last so called supervisor told me Dish did not have a two year contract. I asked to talk to his boss, he said "this is it, I am the boss and do not have anyone above me." I asked him to send me a copy of my contract, he promised to email it to me. As of now I have not received anything from Dish. Shady retailers, shady way of doing business, rude and dishonest customer service agents. STAY AWAY, YOUR KIDS College FUND DEPENDS ON IT.

    Updated on 02/01/2015:

I was offered a 2-year contract, 3 months in to the contract my monthly rate increased from 39.00 to 89.00. When I called they told me they did NOT have a 2-year contract, they gave me another 60 days and raised the rate back to $89.00. They also told me they can raise the price anytime they like (the fine prints). Dish lost CNN and Fox, I told them they were in violation of the terms of the CONTRACT. They told me, they can change programming anytime they like (fine prints).

Had Dish installed, was happy with service. The problem started when I started working with them. Found out they're very shady. Not only do they sell dish they also sell DirecTV, Cox cable, Cox internet, CenturyLink, and charge people to put cable on illegal. I've seen it with my own eyes and the owner is involved. Also I made 3 sales and my check bounced and owner said he would not pay me. I've had 2 of my customers complain about the install and services. I found out the one that was satisfied lived in upper neighborhood and well established.

From day one with Dish they have tried to charge me the money my uncle owed. The house I moved into was previously occupied by my uncle. As a favor to a family member I moved into the home to fix all needed repairs, clean the home, and keep the utilities on until the home could be sold. While my uncle lived in the home, he had an account with Dish, however, the account was overdue and the service was shut off. I only discovered the issues with my uncle's account when I tried to set up service with Dish when I moved into the home 4 months after my uncle moved out. From that time forward, Dish has tried to charge me for my uncle's past due charges. Never have I had any ties to my uncle's account, nor have I ever been financially obligated to any of my uncle's debts. As much as I would love to help family I do not have the income to support more than myself.

I have gone around and around with Dish that I have no ties to my uncle's account and will not assume responsibility for an obligation I did not agree to. Through the entire 2 year contract I've had the same argument with Dish. A 3rd receiver was added to my account without my consent (the receiver from my uncle). I've called on multiple occasions to have this receiver removed but clearly I was not successful. I've discontinued my service and am now being charged for a 3rd receiver which I never agreed to or received. The fact that I've never been in possession of this 3rd receiver makes no difference to Dish. If I had to do it all over again I would have gone without TV as opposed to signing any sort of contract with Dish. I've never experienced service like this with any TV provider. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

When I first signed up with Dish I was extremely happy, everything was great, I even tried to convince my friends and family to switch from DirecTV to Dish because I thought they were so much better! Now I regret my choice to move to Dish in the first place. A few months after I signed up with Dish I got moved for work. This is where my trouble began. The installer came out to set up my service and told me that I could not receive service where I am at because there is no line of sight. So naturally, I call to cancel, why would I pay for a service I can't use? Well, the first agent I talk to (after I have to repeat myself 5 times because apparently he wasn't listening) tells me my only options are to cancel my account and pay a $420 cancellation fee or I could transfer it to a friend or family member (despite the fact that I told him 3 times the latter option was not an option he continually brought this up). I told him I didn't think it was right that I would be charged a cancellation fee when it's not my fault I have to cancel, I can't get service here. It's not as if I'm choosing to cancel.

He transferred me to the "Office of the President" where I was told in no uncertain terms that there was absolutely nothing they could do for me because I signed a contract. I did not choose to move, I was transferred for work. And I don't want to cancel my service, I want to be able to watch television, but there's nothing I can do about it because of line of sight which I have absolutely no control over. Since she was absolutely no help and didn't offer any solutions (except again offering that I could transfer my service to a friend or family member), I asked to speak to her supervisor. Her supervisor wasn't much more help but she at least seemed sympathetic and cancelled everything on my account that she would and dropped my package as low as she could to try to work out a solution.

I am still extremely upset about having to pay for a service that I'm not using. I can't wait until my cancellation fee drops to a more manageable amount so that I can pay to cancel the service and not ever have to deal with Dish again. If you're thinking about moving to Dish, don't, they don't care about their customers, they just care about money. I was even told by the initial person at the "President's Office" that they can't just cancel services for people without getting paid because it's "not good for business". This is by far the most ridiculous company I have ever had to deal with. I am counting down the days until they are out of my life forever.

I'm one of those customers who have the biggest package available in 3 rooms just to have choices while living alone. This came as a surprise. In all my years with cable I have never sat down to watch something and couldn't because the network didn't renew their contract. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told "Oh, hopefully this will end by next news." It's been over a month now and Corporate Chairman Mr Ergen says, "He's not concerned his customers won't be able to watch CNN." After reading the article reading Mr Ergen's quotes, I'm convinced I need to change networks. I'll probably go back to Uverse Att. My advice, Dish has poor customer service and they appeal to the lower income with lower prices deals that attract you but give extremely poor customer service and could care less about providing a good service for what consumers want.

I signed two yr contract for a particular package deal, it included auto pay (charge card) only to be able to receive package deal. They started to overcharge me from bill one, and then when I would call, they would quote me things that I would get for my inconvenience, but they never kept their promise. Every month when I would receive a bill it was wrong. I would call and again a nice quote to save me money, but my bill never changed and no deal was ever given. I would call them and they would blame me and also tell me that there is no record of what I stated to them about offering me deals, they just flat out lied on phone is a big game of theirs.

The salespeople is where they appear to take pride in. TO get you as customer, offer you whatever and then give you nothing but HEADACHES. Many times when I would call, I could hear clapping and cheering in the background. I once asked the representative and he told me that they are cheering because of their sales quota that month. I was explaining to the rep how they sale you and do not keep their word on all their offers. They refuse to give you ANY KIND OF DOCUMENT to what they promise.

They have many hidden fees and their billing is all confusing. My bill was never the offer they quoted me in the beginning. They rely heavy on their salespeople to sell you. That’s their major concern. They offer you many deals and don’t follow through, so my last bill (8 month into contract) was wrong and overcharged again, so I cancelled my contract which states that I would have to pay $20 a month for two years to cancel. I was in my 8 month of service, so I cancelled owing about $340 plus the last bill. They kept me on phone for over 1 hour switching me from people to people.

They would not send me a receipt to confirm payoff and cancel of my account and told me that I have 10 days to return equipment. I asked for the address to send. Again the sales account on phone said no problem. But I have not received an address. He kept offering me deals of all kinds talking really fast like an auctioneer. They really do frighten me because I have good credit and pay my bills and they will not comfortably let me out of contract. They refuse any documentation for evidence.

I need help to this day for a witness of authority to verify my situation to cancel the two year contract and then after one year you pay regular cost is a scam by them. They use that as a tool to suck you out of more money. Their billing is way confusing and it is intentional I believe from my experiences with them. I told him I cannot believe any word of mouth from past experience on phones with Dish network. I asked for something in writing. He said they are not allowed to do that. I asked him for a document to prove that I cancelled contract and paid it off. He refused and said, “We do not give anything written out.”

He wanted me to Okay using my charge card since I stopped auto pay. I told him no way! Please just give me a receipt. They still sent me nothing but more flyers in mail and emails every day trying to get me to sign up again.. Look these people are really bad news. They love the auto pay so they can overcharge you if you do not pay attention, and then you must call your charge card Co. to stop dish network from using charge card.

I am still to this day trying to return my equipment and receive a receipt. They will not provide this to me. They also want to charge me $17 to return equipment. I will be charged for not returning in 10 days and I cannot because they will not send me address in a timely manner. I need someone to help be a witness to my cancelling contract and proof that I cancelled in good faith and paid them and returned equipment. I am really scared that they are going to try and bill me more outrageous prices. Directv also does the two year contract, but are not as sales desperate and say offer you things that are not true just to sell.

DISHNETWORK'S number one priority is to sell to you no matter what and will not keep promises. I found myself calling them up every month for some added fee that they would accuse me of not paying attention or something of that nature. They would try to clear it up by offering you more deals, but keep NO PROMISES. They have sales people all over the world and can only give you reference numbers and not documents stating what they say to you deal or no deals. I now watch regular local tv and try to watch stuff online. I see their tactics as a trend among businesses nowadays and it really scares me. I have started to just eliminate businesses that I do not feel I need.

The Realities of being a Cable/Satellite TV Subscriber — First of all, to the Dish Network Subscribers, I feel your pain, as a former Dish customer myself for 8+ years I went through the process you’re now experiencing several times. At this time I no longer have any Cable/Satellite service, I could just no longer afford their prices, I downgraded my package a couple of times, then realizing I wasn’t really missing anything I totally closed my account. I’m currently just getting my local channels Over the Air through an Antennae (FOR FREE).

I have stayed abreast of the situation with Dish, DirecTV, & Cable as it seems every few months there is news of one or the other providers pulling a favorite channel or two due to contract negotiations, so I read the stories and even visit their Websites & Facebook pages to see what they and their customers have to say about the situation. I have come to realize that the customers that are complaining and threatening to switch providers when they have lost or are under threat of losing some of their favorite channels are just wasting their time.

All of the Cable/Satellite providers and TV Stations do business in pretty much the same manner. They have contracts with each other, and when those contracts expire they have to be renegotiated. That’s when the fun begins, 1st both sides know when the contracts are going to expire and they plan ahead to try and get the best deal they can on the new contracts. That’s when & why you’re losing those channels, the Cable/Satellite provider will pull the channels to try and get the customer base to put pressure on the TV Network, or the TV Network will Block their Channels to get the customer base to put pressure on the Cable/Satellite Providers. In the end it is you the customer that loses, you have missed several episodes of your favorite programs or missed several sporting events, and then your Bill goes up & up, how many of you are paying upwards of $80 - $100 or more per Month now, it’s only going to get worse!

I have read many of the customer comments on the various providers Facebook pages where the customers are planning to switch providers if they lose certain channels and miss any episodes of their programs. The Cable/Satellite Providers expect this every time they have to go through the negotiation process and plan for it. They have so many customers that losing a few hundred or even a few thousand customers is not really going to hurt them, at least not for long. So what if Joe or Sara gets PO’d and switches from Dish to DirecTV this time, when it’s DirecTV’s turn John or Sally will switch to their local Cable, and when it’s Cables turn, well you get the idea, round and around we go.

Here are a few suggestions you can try to help fight back against the Cable/Satellite Providers & TV Stations and their tactics. (I won’t even go into how they treat their customers, we’ve all heard the horror stories about one provider or the other)(Though there are a few good stories too where they were actually helpful)

    1. You can do as I did and totally wean yourself off of Cable/Satellite and go Free Over the Air through an Antennae. Yes, I know, Not likely to happen. (There’s also many Internet TV Options Available and Growing) (These 2 options may actually be one of the best ways to fight back)(The Internet has already Killed the Printing Industry!)

    2. Add the Over the Air Antennae to what you already have. It can be ‘Di-Plexed’ in with your Cable/Satellite, if you only have one ‘Antennae In’ on your TV. This will come in handy for those times when Storms or Severe Winds disrupt the Satellite signal or when Cable lines go down or are Cut. NOTE - for Dish customers, if Dish pulls CBS you can still get it Over the Air. All Major Networks are still required by Federal Law to Broadcast an Over the Air signal. The Antennae’s come in many different forms and prices, but it’s a One Time Only Expense then the programming is Free, and it will come in handy.

    3. We know Cable/Satellite Providers are not really big on Customer Loyalty, they’re always throwing out the Deals & Discounts to try and lure in new Customers, but stay with one Provider longer than your initial contract and watch your Bill go up almost every Month. Personally, I think it should be like that Insurance Co. where the longer you go accident/claim free the lower your deductible gets, the longer you’re a customer, the more Deals & Discounts you should get. (ISP’s aren’t any better)

So here’s the plan - Every time your Contract ends with one Provider, Switch to one of the others, if you’re able to. That way you’re always getting the best deal on the Channel Package you want and the Newest Up to Date Equipment every couple of years. I know of several people that do this every time their contract expires and have 2 or 3 Satellite dish’s on their roof, 1 for Dish & 1 for DTV + an Antennae.

Here’s another area Cable/Satellite Providers need to change in the way they sell their service’s and treat their customers - How many of you are paying $80 - $100+ for your channel package of 200 - 250+ channels to get the 25 - 40 Channels that you actually wanted and watch on any regular basis? and could care less about the other channels and Never watch them! I want to see them sell 20, 30, 40 - 100+ channel packages where the customer gets to choose every channel that they want in their personal package! Not a base package of basic channels then ‘A La Carte’ (at a Price!) for the other channels we want. Don’t know about you, but, I really don’t like Paying for things that I didn’t want in the first place and will not ever use!

Anyone reading this and wondering if you should switch to Dish Network, I urge you to please reconsider before you switch. They will remove programs and channels at their will. If you sign a contract with them you are asking to be taken advantage of any time they want. They shut your system down every day to see if somehow you're cheating and stealing from them and see what you have been watching so they can remove programs and channels just because they think not enough people are watching them, so they can negotiate with the people they get their programming from. Yes right in the middle of you watching a program your system shuts off for up to ten min while you have to sit there mad as hell. I can't stand this Dish Network, and as soon as my contract is up it's over for them with us, and as far as Direct is concerned they try to make your bill higher each Month. Your best bet is just regular High speed internet and Netflix. I can't wait till there is more programming like Netflix. We all need to get out of our contracts and watch things some other way and send both the satellite co. a big message. To hell with both of you. WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IN ANY MORE. Well first of all the complaints I have are not the channels or any little dispute. They came out to install a new Dish at my new apartment which they did so and it works great but they never asked me or the property manager where the Dish could be mounted. It was mounted right next to a electrical box on the common property so it had to be moved. They came back out to move the Dish then tell me I cannot get a signal from where it is permitted to be. So I said I'll have to cancel my subscription so tech leaves.

I call Dish, mind you this is only day number six of service. When I explain what happened to the account manager they said, "oh well pay $480 to cancel membership" to break a contract that they put the Dish in a spot without confirming with anyone where it could be mounted. So I worked my way up the chain all the way to Phillip at the office of the president of Dish but the same line like a robot pay the $480 and you can get out of your contract that they broke first by mounting it without asking. So now I have a Dish in a box and service I am paying for because it is cheaper to keep and not even be able to watch then to cancel the service. I offered them $100 plus pay the month's bill but still they won't budge for 7 days of service, don't care about their customers and have no remorse. I want to make it known that they are scam artist and wish someone could help me with this situation. I have tried everything in my power to resolve.

In the middle of the year my DISH was turned off. I was in a wreck and couldn't afford to pay. However a lawyer representing DISH called and ask if I could make payments and she would waive some of my fees because I still wanted to get it turned back on. So I paid what was asked of me even after one of my auto payments didn't go through, I stood by my word and called to make the payment. I talked to her again and she said call DISH and ask how much it would cost to get it turned back on and the person I talked to said $100 and something.

So today, 11/21 I called to see how much it would cost. I got the run around so finally she said $113.99 would get it turned on. I was happy to hear that so I paid it and asked her what time will it be back on and she said in 5 min. I left and ran some errands, came home 1hr later - no DISH. Called back to DISH and representative said I owed more money and it could not be turned back on until so I asked to talk to the manager no help even if her workers told me the wrong info that's on me still. Wanted a refund, oh they don't do them either. Just got back on my feet and the only thing my son wants for Xmas is DISH, so thanks for nothing.

Dish claims they are doing everything they can, but if so, why is there a blackout of the channels? Why not settle these disputes before the contract ends? It's to frack its subscriber accounts to line their own pockets. We're entered into contract for two years, shouldn't we get the same service for the whole two years? The day that CNN was blocked from our lineup I sent an email asking when this issue would be resolved. I received no response. Almost a month later we decided to cancel our service because our most watched channel (CNN) was not broadcast and CBS was threatening to cut ties with DISH due to contract issues. As my husband says, "fool me once, shame on the ** CEO, fool me twice, shame on me." I do find it interesting that the CEO of DISH thinks losing CNN is a "non-event" when we were offered a $15 discount per month for our troubles, then when we refused, a $20 discount, then $25 and finally a $50 discount. It seems odd that a company would offer a discount of $600/year for such a "non-event"?

I have been a loyal Dish customer for years. I have had a few equipment problems in the past twenty years but they were all resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction. Until recently, I have had no complaints with customer service. My big problem with Dish is their constant contract disputes. Losing CNN is like a slap in the face. As a loyal Dish consumer, I feel so disrespected and disregarded. One day it's there and the next morning CNN, and HLN, are gone and now I have three channels of MSNBC! No warning, no announcement, no nothing! That is so unacceptable.

I pay $150.00 every month and this is what I get? I thought I would lose my mind when several years ago the same thing happened with AMC. I ranted and raged to customer service for weeks. They finally offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. Among other perks, I would receive a free Roku, free hopper and $60.00 credit to rent new Breaking Bad episodes from Amazon. I felt it was fair so I decided to stay with Dish. Jump forward to present and it's the same contract negotiation nightmare but worse. Once again, it's the same time-consuming angry calls from me to Dish and the same bribing and offering me this deal and that deal from Dish.

But really, what deal could they offer me (except free service) since I already have everything available. Like I told the last rep, I would gladly pay a bit more if it meant CNN would be back. Other than that, he just as well save it for the birds, as there was nothing he could say or offer me this time which would compensate me for the loss to my daily CNN viewing.

Honestly, leaving Dish is the last thing I want to do. I just hate the idea of finding a new provider. I have read bad reviews on all of them. The Dish rep told me Direct TV is going into contract negotiations with AMC next month. My sister has U-Verse and she only gets a fraction of the DVR space that Dish offers and no Hopper. Comcast has terrible consumer reviews. And then there is the business of learning a new remote system, a new scheduling guide, new channels and blah, blah, blah blah.

So after all that, I admit, I have been dragging my feet to make the switch. I was just was hoping by some miracle my CNN would magically be back on the air when I woke up tomorrow morning. But instead of seeing CNN back on the air, I see RED! A warning that my local CBS station and Dish network are in a contract dispute and Dish will be pulling my local CBS station off the channel line up! ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH ME RIGHT NOW? I HATE DISH!!! END OF THE LINE!

I contacted Dish customer service today, and the representative told me that Turner Broadcasting is demanding a 500% increase in cost to the service, compared to last contract. Stated that Turner is going bankrupt, and trying to use Dish Network to make up for their downfalls. I believe that both companies are at fault. We all know that contract negotiations start well before the end of a contract. Both sides should have had plenty of time to satisfy each other’s demands, and here is the big question, why didn't Dish or Turner send out a survey to us, the consumer, who pays the bill in the first place, to see what we thought.

I am not against paying a little bit more for Turner, but has anybody asked you. Both sides need to suck it up and concede to each other and listen to us. Dish has told me if I cancel then I will be liable for the rest of my contract. I have news for you Dish Network and all the stockholders who hold shares in the company, First of all good luck collecting. Second: without us, the consumers, you would be out of business. After 2 months of being a customer, I called today for the 3rd time about Cartoon Network and the Turner dispute. Since Cartoon network was one of the main channels I requested upon signing up for service and Dish has been unable to provide the agreed upon service for a month, I requested to be released from the contract. After my third transfer and 40 minutes on the phone being told rehearsed scripted platitudes, I spoke to a rep in the "Office of the President". He was a condescending blowhard, and I've got to say this is worse than anything I've experienced over the phone in a decade. COMPLETE RIP-OFF! Main reason I got Dish was because I specifically asked them if there was a service fee when moving and was told "No, all you need to take is the receiver". Once I moved, I was told there is a $100 service fee. After arguing for 30 minutes, they lowered it to $50 which I shouldn't be paying anyway but after all the hassle I wanted it over already. Then the technician came out and told me there is no signal here. I live on the 3rd floor of the apartment facing the northeast corner. Then I was told I needed the southwest view to receive signal. Of course it has to be the opposite view. Tried to cancel, termination fee is $400, less the longer you have the service, but you still pay the full contract term so you are better off with just paying for it even if not using. Spent HOURS on the PHONE trying to waive the termination fee, lower it, or get service and NADA. The $50 service fee is supposed to be canceled as of today. READ THE FINE PRINT IN ANY CONTRACT AND STAY AWAY FROM DISH!!!!

I find it racist to not jump on the chance to put native American TV channels on networks.

My ancestors and my people deserve to have the channels no matter where we live or the demand is there or not. I want my children to learn their language and their culture. I find it terrible that they can get nations from overseas but not in my people's own land! Its the same as not allowing God in schools but Islam is ok? So my people are force to learn Spanish from Dora the Explorer, or Chinese on another cartoon character but no Native American cartoons which our people's languages and culture are dying by the passing of each elder every year.

The History channel does not count when all it shows is the murder, **, and destruction of our culture. They should help our people to raise up instead of thinking we are all dead. Example: When is the last time you seen a report on the news from reservations or tribes that doesn't involve casinos? If our people had a channel then maybe our needs and voices would be heard about people and government and save our culture!

The obvious problem is the system reset at 1:30 each morning. I have the Hopper with Sling. Prior to this had regular DVR where the reset could be manually set. Second, the background color on the info, apps, and other areas is light gray with faint white letters. You can't read it. There's no way to increase font size or background color. I almost have to be sitting a foot away from the TV just to read anything. Can't change apps to a menu format, nor can you change the color format on the program guide.

One would think if the old DVR was easily configured, why is it that the Hopper does not have same capabilities? What angers me most, when calling Dish support, is they say these changes are coming soon. Dish has been saying this for 2 years. Recently, I was told Dish has developed new software and the tech support people will be in training before it is sent out as an upgrade. Must be a long-** class. Needless to say, Dish has become a disappointment. I've been a customer for 14 years and treated with indifference. I would switch to DirecTV, but you have to sign a 2 year contract. Your first response should of been to let any one out of their contract who wants to leave with no obligation. But no, an overseas greedy corporation only cares about one thing, money. Well, I'm making it known to you now, I'm not paying you a cancellation fee for you breaching your contract with me. I watch CNN at least 2 hours a day and Cartoon Network about 6 hours a day. Dish network, your contractual agreement with Turner has absolutely nothing to do with your contractual agreement with your customers. You are a business providing a service and generating an income from that service. Your job is to provide the paying customer with that service or take a loss when you cannot provide that service. As with a lot of other customers, I'm a huge fan of Cartoon network, CNN, HLN, etc. Why am I not able to cancel my service without being hit with a large cancellation fee when it is you Dish Network, that has not upheld your end of the bargain? Where is my compensation for having to go with the lousy alternate channels you have provided? These alternates are not what I'm paying for. I have seen no reduction in my bill and I'm still without the channel line-up that I signed on for. Each month that I have to pay the same cost for my bill with a lot of the channels I enjoy removed, I feel taken advantage of. It's just not right how you large corporations can do what you want and when you want to the average citizen without repercussion. I feel a civil lawsuit is in order.

I previously had phone service with which I was very happy. I later called about bundling internet, phone & dish. I was told it would be $89.00 plus taxes. Well my bill is almost double. When I call to resolve, I get someone who just reads my bill to me. They don't answer any of my questions and they blame me for the service I have. When I referred the customer service representative to their website for the pricing, she told me she could not find it. What???? I am so very disappointed.

I feel that the sales department fed me inaccuracies. If that was not enough, customer service completely denies control over dish billing (which, by the way, is EXACTLY as advertised). In addition, if you are looking for high speed internet, you just won't get it here. They advertise 12 mbps but I only get 3 mbps on the download and 1.2 on the upload. On a scale of 1 to 100, I rate my experience at about 60. Fortunately, I can afford the extra costs and the dish service is completely outstanding. However, if you want a bundled service really get the billing straight from the beginning.

My expectation was to pay $97 monthly for all three services: internet, phone and dish. My bill is actually $163 monthly and this is just for the 12 month promotion. I can expect that number to rise another $40 after 12 months. I am very disappointed. The company should accurately spell out the costs, something I feel they were completely deceptive about.

To be clear, the dish service is great (service & pricing). However, the internet and phone is highly overpriced, the internet service shabby and customer service/sales lacking. So if you are on a budget and you really expect to be billed as advertised, go elsewhere. You will not be happy when you get billed. Oh one other thing, your first billing from dish will be in advance. So if you request service to start mid billing cycle, expect to see in your first bill what you used for the month and a month in advance. The sales department failed to tell me that also. It's a good thing I have a good sense of humor.

We used to watch satellite via my large backyard C-band dish. Then in the early-2000s we switched to Dish Network and were satisfied customers continuously for about 11 years. We had Dish "Everything" - their full max package - at my mother's house, and she watched the various movies and programs every day. It was reliable, had broad offerings, and was much cheaper than Comcast. I am personally surprised to see that Dish seems to have low satisfaction ratings. I'm a professional commercial broadcast engineer and carefully think out my technical choices. It worked great for my mom.

However, my mother passed away. I've inherited her house but never watch TV. We had such a great deal from Dish and good equipment too that it took me several months to realize I'd never use it, so regrettably I let it go. Now I just have an off-the-air TV antenna on the hill behind my house I can use to occasionally watch the networks and PBS. I use my computer and DVDs for all my entertainment needs. That the only reason I let go of Dish. Their system is great, but mass media content in general is not. It's not their fault though. If one likes mass media entertainment (e.g., HBO, sports, etc.), then I personally recommend Dish Network from years of experience.

Dish offered me half price on movie channels for a yr only if I cancelled rest of my free movie channel period that I still have over 2 months left right then. I'm furious. The installer showed up late then refused to drill hole in my wall, put it where I wanted. Instead he put the dish cable thru my window so it's not shut tight so now freezing due to weather nor can I lock it. He said they would come back to bury the cables. Satellite was one of my only options due to being in the middle of nowhere so I thought why not give Dish Network a call. I spoke with a very nice and helpful sales rep whom asked me all of the necessary questions to get a credit check and whatnot. They gave me a quote of around $70 a month for 10GB of internet and I told him I was still going to explore other options. He said no problem and that they would keep my information on file in case I wanted to go through with the installation. That way they wouldn't need to do another credit check.

He assured me I would not be charged ANYTHING until they did the installment of their very expensive equipment. Well I ended up deciding not to go with Dish and just do WiFi hot spot through my Verizon phone to keep it simple. I called Dish to cancel my installation appointment for the following week and checked my bank statement to find FIVE separate charges from Dish! One for $70.73 (which I guess is the installment fee), another for $40.42 (which was what I found out to be the charge for setting up an account), $19.99 for Geek Squad and two other charges each for $1.

I was appalled. Suddenly that very nice salesperson did not seem so nice to me. ESPECIALLY because he told me I wouldn't be charged a cent until the installation. On top of that I was charged for creating an account and for Geek Squad service which I did not agree to. All of these charges totaling over $140 when my service was quoted to be only $70 a month. I feel lied to, cheated and scammed. Now I need to attempt to get these funds back into my account on a Saturday. Beware of hidden fees from this company. You could be charged them before even agreeing to their service. Thanks for nothing Dish Network!!!

Let me say this as clearly as I can.... this non-issue has just forced me to switch to Comcast. CNN is a channel that I simply cannot live without. The common denominator in every major event in my lifetime is that I was watching CNN. Nobody has election coverage like CNN, nobody had better 9/11 coverage than CNN, the Japanese Tsunami, the Indonesian Tsunami, the O.J. trial, every plane crash, every school shooting, after every tragedy or major event the first thing I do is quickly turn on CNN.

How dare Dish tell us that viewership minutes are down. Well no kidding viewership numbers are down.... people have I-Pads now and smart phones, but that doesn't mean that we still don't want look forward to our TV time watching CNN. Just because we watch it a little less than we did before we had other technologies doesn't mean we value CNN any less. Use all the posturing you want in negotiations, but don't try shoving that same line down the throats of the loyal viewers. Dish will never recover from this. There will be a new CEO at Dish very soon... mark my words.

We have been with Dish Network for a year and a half. We lost several channels due to the dispute between them and Turner. When we called to complain because we watch about 5 channels and 3 of those are kid specific they offered to give us 5 bucks off a month for 3 months. It's been a month without those channels so far. We asked about them being about money or customer service. They said money was nothing, it's all about the service. So I asked them if they would allow us to stop service without an early termination fee. They said no.

The fine print states that they can change costs or programming with or without notice. That they have no breach because they can do whatever they want whenever they want to our service. I told them that if they were about service they would allow us to cut ties so we could get what we wanted elsewhere and would not look so harshly on them. They said we could but that's not how the contract works. If you want to leave you need to pay the fine and shipping of the equipment.

I used some choice words and said, "Cancel me effective immediately." I told them I would change account info so they could not charge me more. They said ok. "You have a credit of $$.$$." I asked, "when will I see the refund check?" They said, "you won't. It will just be put towards your termination and equipment. If there is more you can call to setup mail for the remaining." Obviously there won't be any left over. Then they sent me an email saying, "Sorry to see you go. Please come back and join us soon." Rofl. I would rather cut a square in a box and throw a cat and a mouse in the box and call that entertainment. Good bye dish, I hope you go bankrupt.

When I called DISH to check out their products, they asked for my personal information right away, including credit card information. When I protested, they told me they needed that information for background checks. This was even before I had signed up for one of their packages.

I spent about 3 hours arguing on the phone with them because, after I had signed up for a package, then they told me that I was automatically enrolled in AutoPay through the credit card number I gave them at the beginning of the call! When I told them that I did NOT want them to automatically charge my credit card each month and that I would make payment myself after being provided with a paper bill, they told me that it would be an additional charge of $10 per month to pay that way. I told them this was unacceptable, so they finally got someone from another department to waive the $10 additional monthly charge. I had them send me an email to this effect because I was so angry at this point that I just didn't trust them anymore.

So far, I have only received one paper bill from them (which showed a credit balance because they did charge the initial payment to my credit card). And today, they sent me an email saying they charged my credit card for the monthly payment! When I called to complain, they told me, essentially, that it was too bad, they were not going to refund me the money because the charges were valid!! I never got a paper invoice from them as they had promised, so I don't know if these charges are really correct or not. They told me that I had the option of going online to view the bill. I told them that was not what I initially agreed to do; they had promised me a paper bill. They told me that I could dispute this with my credit card company. I called the credit card company and since the charges are still pending, I have to wait to do the dispute.

Earlier today, I had to call DISH and complain for another reason. The TV station that I like to watch (DIY) had been removed from my lineup. When I called them to ask what happened, they told me that it was only a temporary station and not included in my package, but if I wanted it, I could pay extra each month to upgrade the package!!!! This was NOT true. When I purchased the package, I specifically asked about this station and they told me it was included in the package. The only temporary stations in the package I purchased were the 5 movie stations, not the DIY station I was calling them about. I was on the phone with them for over an hour arguing that they had broken the contract by not living up to the terms we had agreed to. After talking to a couple of people up the chain of command, they finally agreed to give me that stations I had originally signed up for at the price I had originally signed up for! I also asked for a $20 credit to compensate me for my time and aggravation, which they agreed to do.

What a horrible company. They are extremely unethical. They do not deliver what they promise and they try to get more money out of you in ways upon which you never agreed. It looks like they pull whatever stations you like to watch on a regular basis and then try to get more money out of you to reinstate those stations. They do not live up to the terms of their contract and they should be held accountable!

They give you channels that you do not want and think it is okay. They have plenty of time to negotiate before a contract expires. So that the customer does not have to suffer for their inability to negotiate with providers. They take advantage of the fact that you are locked into a contract and treat you anyway they want. Give the customer what they want and what they have paid for and stop taking advantage of customers that are still under contract. Be more efficient in your negotiations and start way before it is time to renew the contract so customers services will not be affected.

After a lot of back-n-forth and more than a year later, dish network reported to the collection agency that the balance was paid-in-full. The collection agency then told me that the claim would be removed from my credit report. Come Nov 2014 and the collections claim is still on my report. Moreover when I call Dish network they keep routing me to different customer reps without ever reaching any resolution.

I have spent hours and hours of waiting and reiterating my case to several customers but with no solution. Moreover I spoke to one rep who was able to pull up my account while the other said it does not exist in the system anymore. Net-net my credit report has a collections claim on it for no fault of mine at all. Worst customer service and the biggest fraudulent company I have come across. Do not take your business to this company unless you want to jeopardize your credit standing.

We left DirecTV because of the bill constantly going up. We decide to go with Dish. I think it was a huge mistake. First we have a guy here that took ALL day to set it up. We were not told we had to have another Hopper in different rooms or we could only watch 2 televisions. So we coughed up another 12 dollars a month to be able to watch different channels in different rooms. That installer comes in, completely screws everything up and cuts a huge hole in the under hang of the roof (way too big than what was needed). We were not able to watch channels in certain rooms, I was then told that they cannot add another line in (we have 5 televisions) so we would have to buy a long cable to be able to use a Joey in another room. I wasn't happy with that so I call them back because the Hoppers and Joeys were still screwing up. Another guy comes in, says he can use a splitter so we don't have to drag a long cable from one room to another. He also fixed the Hoppers and Joeys that were still screwing up. Everything is fine for a while but we had new floors and painting done in the entire house.

In order to make sure these most wonderful receivers were not broken we had to move them. Plugged one Hopper back in - no problems, same with the Joey (btw these are stupid names), we plugged the other back in and it would not get a signal no matter what. Again with the installers (they give you a window and you have to wait for them to arrive which is usually about 15 minutes before you don't have to wait anymore, ie...12-4, they come at 3:45). We are paying 8 dollars a month for protection that does NOT cover a lot of things but having to unplug a receiver is not on the TOS. It tells you to unplug the receivers to acquire a signal when it is lost but don't unplug it for any other reason or they will charge you. Now we went from $126.99 a month up to $141.99 all because they did not tell us about the Hoppers and what you are not to do.

As most know they do updates almost every night. Well last night they did, we wake up this morning and neither of the Joeys will work. Both on two different Hoppers will not connect. So now I get to have another installer come and tramp through my house. We haven't even been with them for a year!!! This will be the 6th installer in the 9 months we have been with this wonderful company. So glad I have time to waste. Most of the customer service representatives are rude or you can't understand a word they say.

Not having CNN was the last straw for me with the Dish Network as I could no longer watch two of my favorite shows, "Anthony Bourdain" and Lisa Ling's "This Is Life". I have switched to Comcast's Premiere Triple Play package and will end up having many more channels plus all the premium movie channels for less money, plus my internet speed will triple to 105 mbps. When I told them I wanted to cancel, Dish chopped my monthly charge in half and offered to throw in a couple premium channels for three months but I refused because of the absence of CNN. I found Dish's equipment to be clumsy and not as user friendly as DirecTV which I previously had, so I decided to give Comcast a try since I have been extremely happy with their internet and phone service.

It is absolutely ridiculous that DISH Network and Turner cannot reach an agreement. We have started our morning for years watching Headline News. Considering we pay a small fortune for DISH Network programming each month the reasonable thing for DISH Network to do is keep the popular channels that their customers want like CNN on the air. If this situation is not resolved soon we will be discontinuing our service with DISH Network and subscribing to a service that provides CNN.

I have been with Dish Network since its inception; I switched from cable to Dish, and was originally very pleased with the services and programming; we could access our favorite local channels and a wide array of others. In recent years I have witnessed a steady and rapid decline in the quality of the channels offered, the flexibility of the packages which Dish offers, and the general decline of quality media, which is admittedly probably the responsibility more of the individual channels than of the general service. For instance, I have NEVER ordered even one shopping network; at present I am paying for at least 25 of them; and they are mostly purveyors of absolute garbage! I have never ordered one religious channel, and have (paid) access to at least 12 of them, of varying denominations, but mostly of right-wing Christian orientation, some of which is so radical and entrenched in intolerance as to be offensive.

The cooking channels are slowly gaining a firm footing, with the old high-quality "how-to, cook with the best chefs" programs being replaced by bizarre contests peopled by individuals with obvious socialization problems who are pitted against each other in meaningless struggles to create "quality" meals out of disparate ingredients which NONE of us would even want to eat! The movie channels mostly offer fourth rate films (except for the one or two "oldie" channels, and the British and Independent channels) which are being shown for the five thousandth time! I have seen them! All! Unfortunately!

Part of my paid programming is also cluttered with foreign language channels (no, I don't speak Chinese) which I don't understand, or channels pimping the latest schemes to get thin, fit, younger, healthier through taking all manner of potions and snake oils, richer, or totally muscle bound. There are very few channels (if any!) offering any sort of educational enrichment, musical training, or artistic development. Yes, one occasionally encounters some really excellent material (what DID happen to Nurse Jackie?), but those events are few and far between.

It appears that Dish Network.has joined the great media push to Dumb Down America, and are maybe aspiring to lead the parade! Sorry, I am not a fickle customer, but as soon as I find a better option, I'm out!

Dish and Turner took away TruTV and both Cartoon Networks along with other channels. In my home TruTV is the most popular entertainment channel because of The Impractical Jokers, South Beach Towing and Hardcore Pawn. Cartoon Network has King of The Hill and Clarence which we also love and watch daily. We still have Fox News and the History Channels. Ancient Aliens is another hugely popular here. Losing the turner channels leaves a huge void in our TV viewing. It is the customer who is being harmed in this dispute. We are missing great channels and still paying for them! That's wrong! Dish apologizes on the phone for this, but apologies do not correct the situation. Dish charges a small fortune for their services and if the situation isn't resolved and those seven channels aren't returned to us, we will discontinue our Dish membership and go elsewhere.

One of my Dish remotes started acting odd then quit all together even with new batteries. It was replaced and it mostly works, but not like it should. I used to love Dish but my family and I very unhappy with them. Some of their customer service phone operators have thick, foreign accents which makes a conversation difficult! I hope Dish and Turner reads this! You need to remember who pays your paychecks.

About a month ago my receiver started doing really weird things. I knew it was going out so I called customer service. First I was on hold about 30 mins. When I finally I got some guy who was so Rude. As I started to tell him the issue he cut me off. I would try again to explain that the receiver was going out - he cut me off. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and he tells me he still needed the information. I started to reply back he's cutting me off every time I spoke and he cut me off again. Finally I called him an idiot who had no idea what he was doing and slammed the phone down him.

So I go online and did a chat. That woman was better but still made go through all the steps I had already tried. I kept trying to - I tried this, it didn't work and the receiver was going out. But I still had to do everything again. Finally she decides "your receiver is going out." Well duh. I had been saying this the whole time. She said it would cost x amount dollars for the receiver. Wow what? I said I couldn't pay that, I didn't have that type of money. Then she said that if I got the monthly protection it would cost nothing. So again more money. I said if those are my options I want out of my contract. Well lo and behold a third option, I pay for shipping. I said "no. I am making very little money and I can't afford so let me out of my contract." She put me on hold to supposedly to talk to a sup. She comes back and they won't charge me anything. Finished our conversation. But realized I better check how it was to be sent since I have PO box. So another call to vs and this guy keeps telling me the installer will bring it. No matter what I said that no installer was needed I just had to hook up wires. No installer would bring. I called this guy an idiot too and hung up. Of course it was delivered by ups not installer..

Now the thing with Turner. My favorite channels are going off air at around midnight only to be off an hour or two. This just started at the time I list channels. Now with the experience dealing with Dish TV vs and loss off channels or lost air time I promise you I will drop them as soon as my contract is up. I had problems with direct but not this bad. Look out Direct TV, I'm coming back. If I could give Dish a no star, I would but can't. People don't waste your money on Dish.

August 6, 2014 I had ordered dish... I have a one year contract with Dish. Service was fine, until 1 month ago. I thought my remote was acting funny because my volume had kept turning the volume all the way up. It had done that for a week. Called up dish and they had said it was a default remote so they sent a new one within a week. Did what the instructions had told me. That same day the remote has not let me take control of my TV. So that night I was going to bed I turned off TV and cable box....a couple hours later, the receiver had turned on then turned on my TV. I woke up and turned it off and took the batteries out of the remote. Nothing happened then.

Next morning TV turns on along with the receiver. I looked at the remote - the batteries are out. So I figured it is the receiver. The batteries are still out and the volume turns all the way up and started changing the channel. It got terrible where I had fought turning down the volume. I called them, let them know what was going on. Volume turns up again while on the phone and my speakers in my TV blew. I told them that I want my money back for the installation fee and the three months I paid them more than I am supposed to which is 19.99, but I paid them around 25.00/monthly. They said they will send me a new receiver. I told them, "no, I want my money back in my account," and they can come get all their equipment.

A couple days after, I find a replacement receiver by my door. I called them up and told them that they do not understand the meaning of no. I simply got the run around every time I called them. So I figured I'm done calling them. They are wasting my time. This problem happens every five minutes of the day. Now my TV channels are changing by themselves. Since my speakers in my TV blew, I had plugged the audio cords in my stereo so I didn't have to deal with fighting the remote to turn down the volume. Now my radio speakers are blown. I have a bill saying that I have not payed any of my bills. Which is making me think they take the money off my card where is it going then. I call them to complain about it. Again I get a run around the entire world. So I told them "just give me money, come get your equipment and I'm canceling." They told me $400.00 for an early cancellation. I don't have that money.

Because of the run around they give me instead of helping and wondering why this is doing this my tv speakers are gone. I'm lucky I have two more stereo speakers just in case these ones blow too. I literally have to unplug tv and receiver when I'm going to bed. And I feel I am being hassled and I'm paying for NO entertainment. I'm beyond mad. I'm so passed being mad, I'm just dreadful. I feel I have gotten nowhere with customer service. I told them they can finish paying my bill. Because I am DONE. Dish will be reported to better business bureau because they refuse to do anything.

I have been a DISH Network customer for over 10 years and was pleased with the overall services. As most of you already know DISH Network is in a contract dispute with Turner Broadcasting which caused me to lose a number of channels, some of which I frequently viewed such as truTV and CNN. Most disturbing to me, that in the middle of watching a program on CNN it suddenly switched to MSNBC and I couldn't figure out what was going on because nobody from Dish Network bothered to advise that they were at the tail-end of negations with Turner that could potentially (Black Out) certain channels of a contract was not agreed to. DISH Network made no effort to inform me as to the loss of channels and I only discovered what was going on after going to Google and typing "No CNN on Dish".

After Calling DISH Network I was able to confirm that I and many millions of other DISH customers did in fact lose: Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CNN en Espanol, Headline News, and truTV. I called DISH's customer service upon reading of the contract dispute who were apologetic, but could not offer no time frame as to when they believed the channels would return to the network. Since DISH was my provider I couldn't even go to CNN's website and watch LIVE as log-in credentials from my provider were required.

After a week without CNN and truTV I had no choice but to reluctantly call DirecTV. After about 30 minutes on the phone I was offered a great deal together with DirecTV's Genie Wireless Hardware which I must admit is easy to use and a positive user experience. Within three days after my call to DirecTV, I had installers at my place who disconnected the DISH hardware and replaced it with DirecTV's. It was like magic and I had all of my programs most importantly CNN and I felt like my disconnect from the world was back.

The end result is that Dish-Network loses loyal customers such as myself and CNN loses the ratings it desperately needs. CNN allocates space on its home page: "Demand Your Shows Back on Dish" and DISH puts on the channel guide CNN - was removed by Turner. Honestly, I am not interested in the dispute between DISH and Turner and consumers do have SOME choices! The clear winners with this whole fiasco will be DirecTV and the other satellite networks unless millions choose to stick it out with DISH Network. CEOs want to earn more and I feel that we, the customers are the pawns and the ones who pay the price and lose at the end. I am happy I made the move to DirecTV.

From the first call to present I've literally bent over backwards and cooperated with them to try and get my number removed from their system. It's been over a month now. They have GUARANTEED me since the first call I won't be called anymore. Well they're still calling. I'm not exaggerating. They're driving me out of my ever loving mind. Last night at midnight when they had called and awakened me for the millionth time, they took all my info for the millionth time and GUARANTEED there would be no more calls.

I've called the BBB. It's a joke. Auto disconnects call. I've tried entering Dish Network's number on the call block filter in my security app. Within hours they're calling from another number. That's spooky. It's like they know you blocked them. As a consumer I've pursued every possible solution to putting a stop to this. I've recited the info they continuously request so many times, I recite it in my sleep. I've tried contacting corporate only to be before I can even say a word immediately transferred to customer service who once AGAIN starts in the same robotic fashion requesting all the same info I've given them a MILLION times. This is going to stop one way or the other. What I'd like to see happen is everyone worldwide with unlimited calling start calling every known number for Dish Network nonstop 24 hours a day for a month straight. Keep their phone lines so tied up, it's impossible for them to deal with their customers by phone. I have all these calls recorded.

I called and complained and they were very helpful...at first they offered me 5 bucks off for 6 months and I told them that wasn't going to cut it (I'm not in a contract with them anymore so they really have to make it worth my while or I can walk.) Finally they offered me 10$ off for 10 months and 6 movie channels free for 6 months. Now in the grand scheme of things that's a pretty sweet deal for one channel that I care about. This is the reason I love dish. Whenever my bill gets north of 100$ I call in and ask them to find some promotions they can get me on to lower my bill. They always find some sort of promotion that usually last about six months and when it's done I call in and they put me on another. My bill has been under $100 for the last couple of years. When it was installed 3 years ago, a guy came out and installed everything for free. Today I received my "Return Kit" which contained instructions and 2 boxes to pack up the receivers (with no less than confusing instructions} and to pack up the LNBF and ship it back.

    - a couple of problems to this "We make it easy" process.

1st you may be wondering what on earth an LNBF is. That is the part of the Dish on your roof that actually receives satellite signals, but I only know that because I happen to have previously worked in a TV related industry many years ago, and I am guessing most people won't have a clue what an LNBF is. And next thought is: How in the world am I supposed to get that off the roof to put it in the box? - Good question.

The 2nd problem is that they will charge you a shipping fee of $17.00 for each shipping label that you use, so it appears that they are providing you with everything you need to return the equipment, except for the $34.00 (17 x 2 boxes) and of course a ladder and a guy to go fetch the dish off your roof. If you are attempting this yourself be very careful. As for me I am looking for a friend with a ladder. In my case the dish is on the roof of my 2 story colonial house and is sitting only a couple of feet away from the main power line coming into the house.

I called Dish Network and explained that there was no way for me to safely retrieve the modem or the remotes because it was not safe for me to do so. I had to fight this restraining order and finally it was dropped; however, because of his violence, stalking and more I had to put one in place.

They had no compassion. I spoke to the service reps several times and explained that no matter what I tried to do I lost everything I owned. I had no help to get my belongings back safely let alone get the modem. They told me all they could do was offer me a credit and whoever has the modem if they decide to turn it on I will be charged directly. If I cancel then I have to pay for the termination fee and the cost of the modem which was included in the year and half I had already paid. I am sickened that with what I am still going through that they would not have a domestic violence clause in their contract. Their service was horrible at best throughout the time we had it. Their constant losing of their network contracts and their upping of the fees and costs for service was bad enough.

The customer service reps after I called and the corporate office kept stating that I would have to retrieve the modem no matter what. I asked even if someone could retrieve it for me and the answer was no. I still don't know what to do and it's now the end of October. I still unsafe and have no way of getting this modem and am still trying to divorce a man that is a narcissist. I was a valuable customer, paid my bills on time and was never late, dealing with his abuse, his using the court system to continue to abuse me, cleaning out our bank accounts and his ruining my credit. Signed up with Dish Network a year ago due to rising cable costs. Things were wonderful during this 1st year, but they spiked my TV bill $30 the very next month after the first year was over. I called to disconnect, and of course was immediately connected with a de-escalation service rep., who courteously offered to extend my first year's fees an additional 3 months while I decided whether I wanted to stay or not. At no point did he make mention of the word contract, or use the word obligation. Of course it is very unusual to even think about a 3 month contract with a TV provider in the first place.

I called back a week later to go ahead and cancel DishTV services after realizing the latest Time Warner deal was indeed better and more affordable for me.

Imagine my surprise when the Dish CSR told me I had a contractual obligation to continue for another 3 months! That 2nd Dish phone rep would not listen to me at all, and instead kept putting me on hold to supposedly double and triple check my account status to make sure he was right. Realizing he was unnecessarily dragging the phone conversation out merely to get me to concede I was at fault, I finally told him I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and that I would be hanging up on him within a minute. Even after that warning, he would not admit that their language on these courtesy extensions was faulty at best, and at worst deliberately misleading.

I told him to forward my complaint and dissatisfaction on up the chain to his immediate supervisor so this would not happen to another person, yet he gave every impression this was not going to happen, even leaving me with the impression that I would be held responsible for getting their equipment back to them.

Just before I hung up, I assured him I was not making empty threats about my BBB complaint, and furthermore, I would in no way feel comfortable paying shipping costs and removing their satellite dish from roof. Buyers beware! Your first year with Dish may be a sweet honeymoon, especially with the award-winning hopper DVR technology they have bought to use with their services, but in the end you will pay with a great deal of unnecessary worry and hassle, it seems.

Just keep haggling, boys and girls. Eventually the FCC and other entertainment entities will allow "cherry picking" of channels, bundles will be a thing of the past and people will get what they want without all the accompanying garbage programming necessary to get the few channels you want to watch. I was a Dish customer for almost 10 years and I look back at that time still with great frustration. The problems with Dish Network, where to begin...?

    1. Equipment charges: I was told (and had paperwork attesting to the fact) that I owned the first DVR I paid for with Dish, and when needing to have it replaced several years later, was told by Dish Network that it was my responsibility to dispose of the old unit. Fast-forward 24 months when I was still trying to get a refund for the $200+ I was auto-charged for not returning my old unit. I quite literally spent 2 years listening to customer service tell me again and again that I needed to return the older unit and that it was impossible I'd been told otherwise. I do not throw electronics into my normal trash, so I still had it and said (over the period of 2 years) that I would happily return it. Dish then began a "we've sent the boxes, your address must not be working" campaign, and yes, this was the same address that I received all new equipment at. After the 2 years of not 1 return-box delivery, I wrote to the Better Business Bureau; within 1 week, the boxes arrived at my door. Still, after the successful return, Dish decided that they would "return" my $250 charge in the form of autopaying my next few bills with them. The BBB backed this decision! So, another 2+ months of Dish Network service is what I received for my trouble.

    2. Autopay: Never, ever sign onto autopay with Dish Network, ever. If they have your payment information, they will charge you for any of their many illegal practices and then you will spend months or years trying to be reimbursed.

    3. Customer service & Tech support: Simply the worst. They make Comcast look reasonable. For the first few years of Dish Network service, the agents were generally quite good with the caveat that they had to administer DN's practices. Soon enough though, everything was clearly sent offshore and agents were either unavailable, had no knowledge of what to do, or could even be aggressive about not providing service. I actually had US DN employees answer from home, with screaming children in the background and dogs barking. If you haven't experienced DN, you probably won't believe what is standard practice.

    4. Completely Illegal Service: After I was long finished with Dish Network, I moved into a house where my new landlord controlled the cable service for her 2 properties. It was through another company, so it wasn't a concern until she decided she could save a lot of money by signing up with Dish Network and having 1 receiver installed at 1 address to provide service for both rental houses. So began a year of sharing my recorded programming with my neighbor (2 separate houses I remind you, not a duplex, not semi-detached, etc.). This was a dual-tuner DVR, so every time I was watching something and the DVR was recording a second station, my neighbor was forced to either stop the recording or take over the live feed. Then began the technical problems -- days with zero service -- which Dish could not repair, it claimed, because the receiver was located in the other house and that tenant was "unavailable" or would not give permission for a tech support person to enter their home. When I tried to start my own service at my house, Dish told me that it was my address being used for their equipment, so technically no other Dish box, nor other TV service could be installed as, "technically," there already existed service at my address.

On the one hand, this was clearly a landlord problem, but when I worked my way up the chain of command at Dish to explain that I was paying for this service, there was no working service, and I was unable to purchase any other or new service because of their use of my address for the non-existent receiver, I received a letter stating that, regardless of whether or not what my landlord did was illegal, it was their position to stand behind what my landlord wanted.

    5. Programming: I was one of the customers with Dish during the time when they made the decision to change the channel number to the 900s or something, remove the HD, and then completely remove AMC from its lineup because Dish Network's CEO was having a hissy fit of some sort and went on record with some statement about how Dish Network customers weren't the kind of people interested in "elitist" programming like what AMC had to offer anyway.

How this company is still in business is inexplicable. I fully expect that, as more providers decide to offer content through streaming services, this company will lose whatever grip it has that is keeping it in business. And it couldn't happen to a more deplorable company and CEO.

Then over the years I noticed changes in their billing. My billing date changed from the 15th of the month to the 7th - With a monthly statement of next month service as well. Every month I would pay the monthly service due. Not next month service. Well Dish disconnected me on the 7th for not paying and interrupted my service. I called their office to find out why my service was interrupted. All they could say was I needed to pay 2 month bill which would bring me current, in other words pay for services not received yet.

I called and canceled their service August the 20th 2014. They tried to get me to stay with them. I declined all their offers. I have had enough. They sent me their boxes with shipping labels and I sent them their equipment and paid them their final bill then in September I received a statement from them stating September bill owed balance 0 but then at the top of the statement saying I owe a balance of 62.86 which I did not understand so I called the billing department and no the rep could not tell me where this balance came from but they would send me a review of all the billing to show the balance if owed this 62.86. Well in the mean time, every day back to back robo calls started in the morning and then late at night about this remaining balance. I got on the phone with a dish network rep and ask to stop the robo calls and to send me an explanation of bill. She replied and said she would, this was on 10/20/2014.

Finally I decided to file a complaint with the attorney general of our state because in the afternoon on the same date I received another robocall then on the 10/21 I received a call in the afternoon in reply to the complaint I filed with the attorney general. The rep seem to be angry and stated they will call my home any time they feel like it as long as I owed this 62.86 cent. My reply to her was what happened from yesterday on sending me an explanation of bill to now, she replied if I wanted an explanation of bill the state attorney’s office would have to subpoena the billing statement. Finally I told her I did not care if they did or not and to cease and desist all calls to my residence. She then hung up all for 62.86 they cannot supply an explanation. Now dish network is no.1 on the list as one of my most hated companies, beware.

Your network has removed Time Warner cable news without sufficient warning. The likelihood of me staying with your network has been reduced because I watched HLN and CNN often. Please reconsider your decision to remove these channels, as you will likely lose multiple family packages, just because of it. What happened to what the customers want? Since these are major, popular news channels, and Dish Network no longer provides them, there should be a reduction in monthly cost to compensate. That's the least that could be done, but the optimal solution, would be to put these channels back in a Dish Network. The sooner, the better!

About all I can say is that they're not quite as bad as Direct TV. The loss of the Turner channels is making me investigate other options. They created two new domains for unhappy subscribers - fairsatellite.com and DishStandsForYou.com. Those are the only ones I'm aware of, in any case. Seems like they could have applied the money and effort to resolving the disagreement, instead of enlisting their customers as unpaid help in the disagreement. Really, are the two companies so strapped for cash that they can't reach an agreement?

Dish has dropped TCM from its lineup, although the cable network is one of our favorites and is part of the package we continue to pay for. When Dish drops a cable network, it does not try to compensate the customer. I went on their chat customer service and had to wait online for an hour. They first offered me $5 a month off my bill. I told them that was not enough. I like old movies and the only way to watch old movies now is through Dish on Demand which usually charges 2.99- 3.99 per movie. Why should I pay for this when I am already paying for a classic movie channel that they dropped? Finally, the rep agreed to $10 off for 10 months and 3 PPV coupons. She said she would send confirmation through email. She didn't. I went back online-another 40 minute wait- chatted with another rep who disconnected me 15 times and then told me they didn't send emails. I then tried to call- waited 30 minutes- the rep dropped the call. Called back- had to listen to their inane ads for 30 minutes. I have given up in disgust. These people don't care anything about service. I hate this company.

For over two years now our service has been below standard and although Dish has sent out 4 techs and changed out equipment, we are still experiencing the same issues we started out with. Namely our back and forward buttons do not work properly, they either don't go back enough or go too far, etc. There is a huge delay when using the remotes so that you push the buttons too many times and it skips through the selection too much OR doesn't connect with the receiver at all. VERY frustrating!!!! And whenever we call about the issues they act like it's either something we are doing or there is something wrong with their equipment, send out the tech, who in turn, says it must be the software then leaves and NO, get this, NO improvement!!! Yet we are still paying almost as much on their service as we do electricity, I am, least to say LIVID with this company.

I believe these issues started at the same time they started advertising the Hopper, coincidence? I doubt it!! Draw your own conclusions folks. NOW I no longer have TCM and Boom, two of the channels we watch most in my home, almost 130.00 a month and we lost those channels, UNREAL!! It makes me cringe when I see the commercials about what a great company Dish is!!!! I will NEVER refer them if this is the best they can do!!! I owed remainder and had no problem with paying off but customer service finally informed me of their "pause" policy. So they would contact me by email after the pause time when $260 would be due. Never heard and when all calmed down, I had heart attack at my husband's bedside when he died. So after all this, I contacted Dish for whom to pay the $260 due to. They informed me it was over $300. I did not owe this amount? I contacted them, not them contacting me..... I offered to pay them $260 as agreed on but they refused to take anything but the amount they now had over $300.

I was turned over to an agency called ERC and have been so upset that I did this in good faith to try to pay them and they are making this so hard on me. I was so mad I was going to pay it off in 52 payments at $5 a month, but the last two months I've borrowed the money and paid $50.00. I get a call today from ERC collection which has put a late payment on my credit report. Four phone calls later and still no answers. I got cut off 3 times with them and had to repeat this 4xs. First lady wants payment same date. Second customer rep. says they don't have set dates????? OK, where and what do I do now?

It's on my credit report but they don't have due dates? I am so frustrated. I am paying only the $260 as originally agreed and that's it. I then will turn this over to my lawyer to take care of my credit report. I owe it, I want to pay it, but they've got to honor their original agreement. DISH SUCKS BIG TIME AND I WILL NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE....I am so upset this is in my life. See what happens when you try to do right? You get kicked in the gut while you are down. Today CNN, HLN, TCM are also gone. I have six months to go on the contract and I do not plan to renew. The phone agent was nice and understood my concern and offered more movie channels at no cost just as they did with Comcast Sports New England. We queried the sales rep to be sure they have a good signal and that we would not continue to have daily lapses in service, a signal so weak we could not use Skype for business calls.

After weeks of the very same issues, many hours of phone calls, hold times and "supervisors" we were finally told that, NO, they were not providing a good signal, Yes, they were sorry, and incredibly, they (DISH) were not providing the signal! They were contracting with our previous provider whom we dropped because the signal was so weak! We explained that we did not want to continue paying for a service that DISH ADMITS they are not and CANNOT provide. We were asked to return the equipment and assured that our "early termination fee" would be waived.

Today we got the bill for the "Early Termination" fee. We called and were told we had a "Contract" - Yep - specifies SERVICE to be PROVIDED in exchange for payment. It's a 2-Way agreement! 30 minutes later, we ended the call after agreeing that our only recourse was small claims court. Really DISH? You acknowledge we paid for months of NO service but now you'd like us to pay for the privilege of not paying for 20 more months of NO service? During a two month period in early 2014 my Verizon internet data use increased from a previous monthly average of less than 1 GB to as much as 17 GB some days resulting in monthly data use of nearly 60 GB during the two month period. Unfortunately I did not learn of the excessive data use until I received my monthly statement. I then worked with Verizon tech services to isolate each data user (computers and smart phones) in attempting to identify the source of the extreme data use. This analysis determined that none of the computers or cell phones were generating more than average internet data use. I then contacted Dish Network to learn how to disconnect the Dish system from the internet. Having accomplished that the overall Verizon data use returned to previous levels of a fraction of a GB per day.

I then contacted Dish tech services to relate the situation and inform them that at no time had we previously streamed video or downloaded movies, etc., and of the results of disconnecting the Dish system from the internet. Dish tech services advised me that the Dish system can not generate internet data use unless directed by the remote. In return I advised Dish that twice during the period of excessive data use, I had been away on 3 and 4 day business trips and that the computers, cell phones and TV were not used, yet large amounts of data were generated during those days. Again Dish advised that it is impossible for the Dish system to generate data use unless it receives signals from the remote or the receiver. Dish offered to replace the Dish receiver at no cost to me and I accepted that. A week later the Dish receiver was replaced and connected to the internet through the Verizon system and data use was minimal with the computers and cell phones turned off.

Since the technology testing showed that the excessive data use was somehow being generated by the Dish system....and had been carefully demonstrated indicating that the original Dish receiver was malfunctioning, I asked Dish, via certified mail, to compensate me for the several thousand dollars in data fees I had paid to Verizon. Dish did not reply to my letter, so I have filed a small claim suit against Dish. It would be most useful if I could learn if anyone utilizing Dish Network TV has had similar experiences.

I had been with Dish in Grayslake in Illinois for over 17 years when I moved to Oklahoma. I called dish and took a leave of absence from their service till I could buy a house here. Once I found a house I called Dish for new service. They first sent out a female contractor who set the dish on the eve of the home and found she could not get a signal. She had trees in the way she told me and that four trees needed to be removed. I called a handyman and he came over and cut the trees but still no signal. After almost 12 hours she gave up and said she would have someone come back the following week.

The office then sent out a tech who got out of the truck and said to many trees I would never have tried to hook up service for you. Let me walk around with my scanner and see if you have a better spot. He then told me he could get me a signal if I would allow a couple of post to be placed in my front yard. After I agreed he said I will call Okie dig and get them out early next week to look at the yard before we can dig. I understood and agreed to wait. The next week I had a third tech come out who said that Okie dig had never been called but he had notified them and they would be next week and the office would have to send out someone again.

The next week Ron a tech came and complained he was only given 15 minutes to do the job. And that the contractor had used the wrong line to install and it all needed to be replaced. He then called his office and started to work. After about two hours he came outside and said well bad news. I asked him what was wrong and he showed me in his haste he had pulled my TV off the TV stand and it had broken plus it put a hole in my wall. He was real upset and kept saying he hoped he would not get fired over it or at least written up.

I called his boss the next day and was assured they would pay for the set. After 7 months I did get a check for about half of its cost. If I had to charge them for my phone time it would have been six times that much. All the time I had been waiting to be paid I complained the internet was slow and horrible. Dish Finally sent out a tech Ron again. He told me he had been written up but he guess he deserved it. He then went outside to look at the system. After five minutes he came back inside and told me he had repaired the slow internet. He said he had to cut a ground for the phone which was not used anyway but was too close to the Dish install.

A few months later there was a lightning storm a few miles away. I went to bed because my signal was gone. When I woke up the next morning all three TV's were dead. I called Dish and they said for $10 they wound send out another tech. I asked them to send someone other than Ron. I wanted another set of eyes on this problem. Brian came out that Saturday and after about two minutes found that Ron had cut the wrong ground. He had cut the one for the Dish system. He told me he had it in his report and that Dish would have to replace the TV's. He took photos and checked everything including the TV's. He also installed new Hopper as well as the Joy boxes. I boxed up the old units when he was here and called Dish to request the labels to send back the old equipment. I was told to write Attention Dave ** on the boxes.

The following week Nick the lead technician came over to look at the boxes and look at the system. I told him that Tffiany ** from Colorado Corporate was assigned to me as a claims adjuster. After a half hour or so Nick said he had moved the direction of my internet dish because it was pointed in the wrong direction. And that sometimes even if the Hopper systems are UL listed they give you problems and can not be grounded. He also told me that I had a reversed wire in the master bedroom which could account for the one TV blowing out.

After he left I called my electrician Lonnie who has been licensed for over 40 years. He came over and checked the line. He told me he could not find a problem. I told him Nick had showed me his tester and it said it was bad. He pulled out the tester he carried and it showed good. He then took the outlet out and examined it and put it back. Shook his head and said “they are trying to pull a flim flam on you.” He did not charge me because he had checked the electric out for me before and installed a new 200 amp breaker box a few weeks earlier.

I made several calls over the next weeks to Tiffany and to the local office. Just before the two month date of losing my TV's the manager Gary ** told me that he could offer me $450 for the sets. This is again close to half of the price I paid for the three new TV's all purchased in the last year. I told him "you do know these were all three TV/DVD Combo units." He said "I know but you do not have to agree." Finally I told him "Fine send me my money and we are done. I am tired of fighting for this money which is due me. If it were reversed and I owed Dish you would have been paid the full amount quickly."

He then sent me a form to fill out that reads: “By your signature, you agree that you are completely satisfied with the resolution of this damage claim. You understand that DISH Network Services and affiliate consider this claim to be closed and will not accept further liabilities regarding this claim. You agree that the existence of this claim and its terms and conditions are to be kept strictly confidential by all parties involved.”

I refuse to sign this agreement because it is a hush order and there are several litigations that could happen if it were signed. He agreed to call corporate legal and ask to have the document changed to read from this day forward. Today 9/26/2014 we talked and he told me that the legal team refused to change the form at all. And that the ball was in my court. If I want paid I will have to sign it.

Well the form as I told him says signed on this date so in a couple of days I will sign it but not till I have let the world know what a horrible service I have received and the way they treat customers. I could not even get a call back from Stephanie ** so I am writing this for all to see before I sign. Oh and they have yet to send me return labels for their broken equipment in my living room. Maybe after 2 months I should be charging them for storage.

I'm trying to close the account and they just won't do it. They said the SS# is changed, it's not. They say that the account is scheduled to be cancelled, then I receive a bill for him for the next month. Anyone you talk to there LIES. You can't get a straight answer. I'm surprised they are still doing business. Even their DISPUTE RESOLUTION SPECIALIST, Scott ** lies. Shut off the service before the service was scheduled to be shut down and said he would not be able to provide proof that this account is closed. MORON. I need that for court. I just hope someone nails them for all the pain and suffering they cause everyone. I hear nothing but horrible things with their contracts. I'm still not done with these jerks. I'm afraid they will continue to bill my deceased father's SS# forever. SCARY. Even after you pay the bill, they send him another one.

I called Dish service to inquire about their offers in my locality. I had the 3 primary questions that any smart consumer would ask: Price, Contract terms, and what if circumstances. The sales guy just wanted to know if I will sign up before we hung up on this call and did not let me finish ask my questions. I told him I still have a few questions (I did not even ask him about contract terms and what if questions yet) when he said, and I quote, "All that you are concerned about is the price, and we offer the cheapest in your locality. Now if you would hold on for one moment ..." and he hung up on me. I think this is the most insulting sales service I have ever experienced, and me being an MBA myself, absolutely believe in customer service as the #1 priority for any service sector company. I will never buy Dish services because if this is the sales experience, I have no hopes for post sales customer service at Dish.
