Dish Network was by far the worst television service you could have. It took me 2.5 months to get them to fix a problem which erased all of my recordings that were on the hard drive. First they replaced the hopper box. Then it did not fix the issue, so the new box did not work either. It would go out every 5 seconds when watching a show. To no avail, after their customer service was horrible and problem not fixed being one month away from my contract date I CANCELLED! I paid the whole 3 months of no service and they still charge a cancellation of $200.00 for the contract not being held in full. DO NOT GO DISH... They take your money and do not fix their problems that you end up paying for.

For the last 7 days, my DISH favorite lists were partially erased and substituted with Dish On Demand listings to apply for pay movies. Listing has been corrected many times only to find out my favorites are "erased" and replaced with favorites to the user. Calls to DISH service placed blame onto the user (me). Repeated call resulted in a service technician to the house who said he was a technician and not a programmer. He left with no satisfaction. Repeated call to Dish resulted in a first soft admission of problems. They said they could not notify us if problems fixed nor could they provide programs fixes for us on an individual basis. Subsequent result is frustration, disingenuous promises and the loss of my times and approximately half the desired programs continually removed from my choices.

We were all set to have Xfinity installed due to DISH's cancelling of several key channels (Time Warner), and when we called to cancel DISH, we were immediately offered massive discounts for 3 months, (about $35 off for 3 months) then smaller discounts for a year. We decided to stay with DISH since we have had them for many years. When it came to actually going thru with those discounts, they were short of what they promised. When I called them on it, their comment was simplistically "there was a price increase".
So just beware, DISH can OFFER you anything, but they are not obligated to be honorable and actually give it to you. I fought it out on a chat line, and got nowhere. Even asked to speak to the supervisor. His thing was, no matter what, price increases are first and foremost, customers don't matter so much. I will call DISH tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do about their refusal to be an honorable company, but it sounds bleak. I will just let everyone within earshot to stay away from DISH.

We live in a suburb of Nashville and ordered DISH Network. We were having poor service but were told we would have to pay for someone to come out and move the DISH to get better reception. During the flood in 2010 we were without cable for a week and when we called to complain we were again told we would have to pay for someone to come out. We had DISH for less than six months. When we explained to them that we had been without cable and that we would be cancelling out service they told us we would have to pay $242.44 because we were cancelling our contract. We stated to them that they were not honoring their contract to us by supplying us with cable.
After receiving a few bills from them after we sent our all our equipment back they told us they would settle the account for $50.00 that had to be paid by a credit card through their customer service department. I purchased a prepaid credit card for $50.00 and called in the information. Four years later we were turned over to a collection agency for non-payment of $194.22. After four years we have NO proof that this was the agreement or that they promised to settle for $50.00. Don't believe anything this company tells you!

First time I call DISH network for service, there was a 100 reward card for who ever get the DISH service and I call the DISH and ask for hopper. Then they check my credit history. She congratulated "you are approved for hopper." So they she said "you will get your 100 dollars reward card 7 to 8 weeks." And after 2 days they came to my house with regular DISH box, not the hopper one. At that time I was not at the house. So the technician got my wife's signature on the contract. She didn't know about the what I order then I call the DISH. They gave me a regular box. "Can I get hopper?" but they said, "you are not qualified for hopper." Then I told, "I don't want the service." They force me to pay $450.00 for disconnecting fee. There was no way for me to get the DISH out.
So I keep the DISH service and I waiting 8 weeks for my 100 dollars reward card but I didn't receive. Then I call again and she said "our system said you're never been told you are getting 100 dollars gift card." Then I got angry and argue with her. After 2 hours argue I said "you charge me whatever your disconnecting fee and I don't want your service." Then she agree to pay me 10 dollars discount on my monthly bill for 10 months, but I still don't trust DISH customer service. I am really disappointed. They gave me hardest time.

This a is a long cautionary tale to any consumer, and one I wish that I had known before selecting Dish Network as my cable supplier. The problems started when my Dish Network account was placed on hold at a charge of 5 dollars a month, and I was not told by the representative when it would automatically expire, and also not told by the Dish representative how much I would be charged once it did expire.
Back in July, I was checking my bank accounts and came across this very high Dish autopay amount. The amount charged automatically to my bank account, since a contract with Dish requires one to use autopay, now a decision I greatly regret. That prompted me to call Dish Network and ask why the exorbitantly high charge. For which the answer from the representative was that I placed the account on hold and the hold expired. I asked the representative why an email was not sent to me that the account hold was going to expire, for which the representative stated one was sent, and I told her I did not receive it; one was never sent.
During this same conversation, the representative told me the charges could be reversed if I continue to pay a monthly subscription for the remainder of the contract term for which I initially signed now that the hold done. My responsibility was to uphold the contract I entered with Dish. I asked the representative at that time, when could I terminate my contract and not be charged any additional fees, and I was told Dec. 2014.
The representative instructed me to call back and terminate in December. Then I asked her what the least expensive monthly contract was for a cable service, even though I was not going to use the service, but was going to pay for a monthly service until my contract was able to be closed or terminated without additional fees, which I was told it would be December 2014.
In late October, I received another high amount charge from Dish autopay to my bank account. I called Dish and asked why I was charged this amount and was told by the representative it was for not returned equipment. My contract was not up until December. I told the representative to send boxes for return of the equipment. Boxes were sent to me in November. The equipment was returned at the end of November, and I called a week or so later to confirm Dish received the equipment. The Dish representative told me the equipment was returned.
Never once was it mentioned to me during my call in October and in November while speaking with the Dish representatives that I would be charged an "Early Termination Fee." I told the representative during the call in November that I was going to close my contract in December, as I was instructed by a representative months ago. When I called in November to ensure the equipment sent was received by Dish, unbeknownst to me the Dish representative cancelled my contract during that call despite me telling her I was going to call back in December to close my account since the contract was going to be up.
On December 15th, I called Dish and closed the contract. This was now the third call to Dish, and I was never told by any Dish representative in prior calls, nor this call, that Dish was going to charge me for an "Early Termination Fee. " In the December call, I asked the representative to disconnect my credit card from autopay since now my contract was closed.
To my surprise, on December 31st, I saw that my bank was processing an autopay amount of $48.00 from Dish Network! Remember the Dish representative told me Dish Network was going to disconnect the autopay linked to my credit card now that my account was closed. I called immediately and spoke with a Dish representative on the 31st and asked why was there a $48.00 charge processing to my bank account from autopay Dish. The representative told me there was no charge she could see processing from Dish's end in the computer system!? I emphatically told her that I was looking at my online account that had subtracted the $48.00 from my balance as I was talking to her. I told her that I would call back when the charge actually posted because I was getting nowhere with this.
I called back on Jan. 2nd 2015, and again, had to provide a long, winded explanation to a different Dish representative regarding my call and why Dish had unethically and fraudulently charged and taken from my account $48.00 dollars. I requested a refund. I was then met with resistance and more frustration since the representative was clearly lacking adequate notation in the computer system from all previous representatives' conversations with me in all past calls or it is possible Dish representatives are trained to not easily give customers or former customers their rightfully owed money back. I then asked to speak to a manager and got another resistant Dish representative claiming to be a manager who I had to re-explain all over again, because again, the notation in the Dish system from every one of my previous calls lacks much to assist the customer.
The Dish "manager" representative reluctantly relented and stated she would submit for a refund. I asked her which method I would receive the refund. I was told the refund would be in the form of a paper check. I asked why would Dish Network easily take money from my bank account, which supposedly Dish disconnected the autopay when I closed the account in December, and then refund me with a paper check? Anyway, you are getting the picture here... the representative then confirmed my address, and then I asked how long it would take to receive the check, she told me it would take 7 to 10 days.
I called back on Jan. 15th to check the status and stated my check had not arrived, at which time the representative stated I needed to request the refund to be sent to me! I told the Dish representative I am now requesting it be sent and, again, the representative asked me to confirm my physical address. I then asked how long it would take for the paper check to arrive and, yes, the Dish representative confirmed it would be a paper check, I was told it would take 7 to 10 days.
I called back February 2nd 2015, and ask about my refund check, which I had not received. The Dish representative tells me the refund was processed back to the credit card?! I already had my online back account already open, and let the representative know there is not a credit to my account from Dish. The representative told me to call my bank!! I told her that was not necessary since I was looking at all of the transactions in front of me on my computer. I then asked to speak with her manager.
After many minutes on hold, another representative identifies herself with an I.D. then states she is in the "Office of the President". She then proceeds to give me her extension number and I ask for the day and times she works. I then ask her why would 2 different Dish representatives from 2 different recent past calls tell me that my refund would be in the form of a paper check, but now the representative today before her told me it was being refunded to a credit card?
She told me she could not speak as to why those representatives would tell me that?!! Well, who could or would? Anyway, I asked again this "manager" or Dish representative if it takes only 3 days to process a credit card transaction, why do I still not have my refund? She did not know why and was filling out another request for my refund. I know, it all sounds ludicrous, doesn't it?
So then the representative puts me on hold for a few minutes and then gets back on the line and tells me that her supervisor (thought she was a manager) said it is okay to tell me the last 4 digits of the credit card the refund was credited to. I asked why would Dish issue a credit to a different credit card account number that was changed by me over a year ago? The $48.00 taken by Dish autopay on Jan 2nd. 2015 and all past monthly payments over the last year have been taken from this other account, so why would Dish use an old account number to provide a refund? The "manager" could not give me an answer to that.
I hung up the phone and called my bank to get a refund from Dish. That is the route I recommend to anyone who had money taken from their bank account fraudulently by Dish Network. Now my bank will credit back the money to my account and they will fight Dish to get the $48.00 back. I hope this story sufficiently scares anyone from using Dish Network's services. Their business practices are despicable, illegal, unethical, and un-American.

Of course I did not save a copy of the letter, as I didn't think there would be a need. Anyone else remember this or have a copy of the letter.

I just cancelled internet service yesterday due to poor internet speeds and lack of concern over the need for service. They want to charge $95 for a service call to come out and fix my problem. I changed my connection cables and wires, tried two different computers, crawled under the house to make sure that there was no damage to the cable run there and found no problems. That means it should be the modem that is leased, the dish and corresponding connections or problems with the signal. That does not matter, I should have to pay for them then change the modem at $99 for a new leased modem or look at the external dish? What kind of customer service is that? When I called to cancel the service it took me 22 minutes of trying to reason with the employee and supervisor, who eventually offered to rescind the $95.00 service fee to keep me. It is too late at that point.
I do not agree with paying an early termination fee for poor service, I would of even kept the slow internet speed until the contract was up if not for the attitude that you have to pay for problems with Dish equipment. You would think that with all of Dish's problem with the Fox channels and their non responsiveness to their customers in that situation that they would be trying to keep all the customers that they have. I still do not know if I will keep Dish for my television provider. They have left me and others with a bad taste in the mouth. Is the business model to make more money on early termination fees and service calls than to take care of and maintain a customer base?

Signed up for RV dish on the go through Good Sams. They signed me up on their Pause program and I did not realize it. When there was something wrong I had to speak to a supervisor. However, it was not really fixed. I called October, 2015 to stop service for the winter – it’s a stop and go whenever, no contract, reconnect, etc. The supervisor fixed it again - I thought. I had a small credit. No bills came so I thought it was all fixed. Then I got a bill for $3.43 so I know something was wrong. I wrote and the reply said I have "Pause" not Pay as you Go. I called where they suggested and that person tried to sell me on this "Pause" at $5 a month when not using the RV dish. I said "NO", please convert to what I asked for. All done - got email that evening I had cancelled? I am 68 years old and have never dealt with such deceit in my life. They make Comcast look like good guys.

Today I spent about 45 minutes online chatting with a Dish agent. We went through all their offerings and I had provided with my Social Security number for them to do a credit check. When I told them that I would not be accepting the offer, the agent told me that my "credit rating" would take a hit if I did not sign up. That is completely intolerable and a really crude method of pressure applied to induce a signup.
I am also going to file a claim with the FCC as this would seem to be an illegal sales tactic.

I got scammed by one of their reps. The rep told me that I would get all this free stuff like a PlayStation 4 and free protection plan. After I got the service installed, they said I had to refer 3 people to get the PlayStation 4. So I told them that I didn't know that and that the rep never mentioned anything like that to me. So they said they would check to see why he said that. Granted you only have 3 days to terminate the service, which I also didn't know. They never called me back or answered my text so I decided to terminate the service because I didn't want to deal with liars. I had the service for 5 days and they charged my bank account $500 dollars for an early termination. Only reason why I terminated the service was because the rep flat out told me nothing but a bunch of lies and I didn't terminate within the 3 days because I was waiting to hear back from them, which didn't happen during the 5-day period. So if you didn't know, now you do.

I am a disabled young adult. I was forced to keep a DISH Network account that did not work at all in my new home. I had to move because my apartment was no longer safe due to black mold and no running water, I had no choice to move. In my new home, I had more days without service than I ever did with. I made 12 service request which they claimed it was good enough. When I called to cancel the service they threatened to charge my card 400$ for early termination. It is not my fault the service tech cannot fix the reception issue, nor is it my fault I had to move to not be sick daily. (Black mold in apartment was deemed unsafe) mailed back their equipment and told them to cancel me. Again I am getting threatening calls and emails. Convergent care their collection agency is rude. They call all hours of the day and night. They were yelling at me on the phone not letting a word in edgewise.
I wish I never got their service. That is why I have decided to not to have cable at all. I am sick of misleading contracts not explaining to those who are disabled the contract terms in plain English when you tell them you are dyslexic and you don't want to sign a contract you don't get. Then when I moved they forced me to continue a contract or take 400$ out of my account. I was beside myself now. I am just angry because the service never worked. My TV is an LG that was made in 2013. ( a gift from my family). They claimed on the last visit my TV was piece of garbage. Really, now it is the TV... No it is the service. DISH should be sued for how they treat movers when the service does not work. I am disgusted at their collections threatening my home. I want their dish off my home. I want an apology for their rudeness and the bill handled.

I signed up with DISH in September 2014. I was checking prices and deals and DISH offered a $200 gift card as an incentive. As of January 26, 2015 I have not received the Mastercard. I called DISH back in December and they said my card had been sent October 16th. They gave me a number to call - DishRewards - so I called them. DishRewards also told me the card was sent out on 10/16 and gave me a number to contact Mastercard. Mastercard has no record of my name or address. They asked for a PID number which I couldn't provide.
I called DishRewards back and they didn't have a PID number (or any other number associated with this offer). I have gone back and forth between DISH, DishRewards and Mastercard. My issue has been sent to the DISH "Back Office" but they don't call me back. Mastercard still has no record of me and explained that the PID number would be the proof that a card was ordered for me.
I called DISH after months of aggravation. They offered to give me $20 off my bill for the next 10 months when I told them I wanted to close my account. Because I signed a 24-month contract, they now want to charge me $400 to void my contract. While they haven't lived up to their end of the contract, I am expected to live up to mine. I had them turn my service off and now I face collections if I don't pay the termination fee. Beware of these scams. I don't believe I was ever sent a card and no intention of sending me one. Dish makes no attempt to sugarcoat the fact that they have you locked into a 2-year contract with them. They do not care what you are upset about, or how wronged you may be, they pretty much tell you to "suck it up, buttercup". They offer NO customer support for anything whatsoever. I had one Dish live chat representative tell me that Dish was not obligated to extend any sort of courtesy to me as their customer during the time in 2014 when they lost CNN and Cartoon Network.
I emailed Dish several times about my displeasure, and I never received one single email response. I even went to their Facebook page to attempt to have my displeasure acknowledged, and I was still told "too bad, so sad". I was one of many upset customers about this issue, and then shortly after they resolved the problem with Turner Networks, they lost Fox News. While I do not care about losing that particular channel, it is still wrong for them to expect paying customers to just "deal with" losing channels they are paying for, and enjoy watching.
I understand the loss of channels happens to all providers from time to time. But how many providers tell you that they are not "obligated" to ensure their customer is satisfied? Not the non-contract required television providers, that's for sure. Dish may have me locked in a contract for another year, but after that year is over, what will they do to try and keep me as their customer?
I'm also locked into a 2-year contract with Verizon, but they always bend over backwards to ensure I'm a satisfied customer, because they know that eventually, that 2-year contract is going to expire... and they want to make sure I renew. I guess Dish doesn't care if you renew with them or not - which I certainly will not do once my contract is over. It's really a pity, because aside from the nonexistent customer "support", the picture quality with Dish is AMAZING, and the DVR space is super huge.
I was really happy with Dish until I had this issue with them over the channels, and they showed their true colors to me. If Dish is going to tell me to go take a long walk off of a short pier over this issue, how will they treat me if I ever have a larger issue, like a billing discrepancy, or equipment malfunctioning? I'm not comfortable doing business with a company like Dish who seems to operate from an Ayn Rand business model of "I've got mine, screw you". Dish has lost me as a customer forever.

The Issue at Hand: An offer was made by a Dish network representative that did not provide sufficient information for a customer to make a decision. The service provided also was a disaster. The first installer did not have a clue about what he was doing. The second installer was very competent, however, after wasting an entire day of my time and that of the installer, I was told that I could not get local stations from the local area that I was used to access and preferred. That is, I was accustomed to and preferred Washington, DC stations, but was told, after an entire day of getting the dish installed properly, that I could not receive Washington DC stations as my local stations because of my address (i.e., location); information that I should have been given and would have avoided wasting so many people's time and the additional money I had to pay the second installer.
Being told that I could not receive Washington DC stations as my local stations because of my address was insultingly absurd given that my current service provider, and your competitor was already providing access to Washington DC stations as my local stations. This was all very frustrating, a complete waste of my time and totally unnecessary. That is, had I been told this early on that my access to local stations would be restricted to Baltimore stations I would not have proceeded with this change in provider. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Further feedback from Dish Network. Quite interesting but, at best unclear, at worse and more likely, illogical, Dish Network informed me that "Federal law requires us to use the established local market boundaries and these cannot be changed by DIRECTV." Thus, apparently there is a Federal law that applies only to Dish Network and not to, at least one of your major competitors for the service Dish Network provides and who apparently has no such restrictions, or perhaps, if one believes Dish Network, is breaking Federal law; which I doubt. However, I include Dish Network's explanation because I submit that it presents yet another example of the "wonderful" customer service they provide. Although, I must say a logical explanation would have been preferable.

About a year ago my satellite provider, Country Cable, an affiliate of both DirecTV and DISH Network offered me a 90-day trial of Dish Net. I had been with DirecTV several years and was losing some of my programming. They connected Dish and I kept losing service and the quality was often poor. Prior to the 90 days ending I contacted Country Cable and they disconnected Dish and re-connected DirecTV. About a month ago I was checking my banking account and saw an auto-withdrawal by Dish for $247. It was a holiday weekend so I couldn't stop it from going through. I called Dish Net and they said my service was not stopped but suspended for a year and this was a reconnect fee. Since then I have changed my account but they continually try to bill me for service even though they have said my service has been interrupted by them.

On January 13, 2015 I called Dish Network to find out when my contract with them would be expiring, he informed that it would be up in March 2015. The agent then asked me what was the reason I was wanting to know and I told him because of the simple fact they they were losing CBS and Fox. The agent then informed that there was a settlement agreement with CBS and that service would continue without any interruption whatsoever. I even went on to ask him this several times to make sure he was hearing me right and I was hearing him right.
After I was reassured that CBS would not be dropped (Fox News and Fox Business was still up in the air), I went on to ask him about getting some extra Joeys installed at our house. When we originally signed the contract we were eligible for 1 Hopper and 4 Joeys. We only need the Hopper and one Joey at the time. I had called about a year later to add 2 more and that agent told me I would have to pay an additional 500.00 per Joey. I cancelled that order before it was ever placed.
So back to the January 13, 2015 conversation I asked the agent what it would cost to get the additional Joeys. He told me if I renewed the contract for 2 years they could install them for a one-time fee of 10.00. I then asked him one last time... "CBS is NOT going to interrupted right?" He said "Yes ma'am. The contract issue has been settled and there will be no interruption." (that was the 5th time he told me that).
I went ahead and agreed to the renewal as I had never had an issue with Dish before. On the 14th the technician came out to our house and installed the extra receivers. He did a great job. This complaint has nothing to do with him. Well January 15th rolls around and guess what happens! I lose CBS! I am absolutely beside myself at this point. I made several phone calls starting at the call center and worked my way up the corporate ladder to be told that since the contract was renewed on the 13th and at that time CBS was still broadcasting there was nothing they could or would do. They said that in the terms it says changes are subject to change.
I told them that I asked several times about CBS and every time I was told NO INTERRUPTIONS! I told them to go back and listen to the conversation and they basically said that it didn't matter. I could not get out of the contract without paying a early termination fee. I find it very appalling that a company has to lie to get customers to stay with them! I would rather watch TV with a converter box and huge rabbit ears than pay a company who downright LIES to their customers!

I had Dish TV installed in May 2014 and signed a 2 year contract. Their service is terrible. Every time it rains the service goes out. Even just a drizzle and the service goes out. Kids can't watch TV when it's raining (call me crazy but that seems to be the time they should watch TV). I called Dish and they said that is normal and there is nothing they could do about it.
So I made the decision to go with AT&T since they now offer fiber service now in my neighborhood. I canceled Dish. Now I have to pay a Termination fee of $300 because I signed a contract. I feel that I lived up to my part of the contract by paying them timely each and every month that I had their service. Dish did not live up to their part of the contract as the service was simply terrible. Living in Florida, we get a fair amount of rain in the afternoons so the service fails just about every day. This is something that Dish should explain prior to installing service for new customers, but they don't because if people knew this they would not sign-up for service. The only thing the Dish rep did well was disparage AT&T.
To make matter worse, they tell me that I have to go up on the roof and take the eye out of the Dish antenna and mail it back to them with the receivers. Why should I have to go up on the roof to get their stuff - they should have to dispatch a tech to do that. They also don't want their satellite back, they say to just leave it there. I would think they'd want it back since it's only 7 months old.
I'd like to get the termination fees waived since they did not provide quality service. Also have them send out a Tech to take the Dish Satellite off my roof.

Dish disconnected me today for non-payment, stemming from them shortening my period to pay by I believe 10 days. I contend this violates my written contract with them. I received no notice of this change, or the additional $5.00 they also tacked on. We pay them 'in good faith', and they agree to provide us with the service spelled out in our contracts, also 'in good faith'. I believe they violate this in two ways: by removing channels at will, with neither warning or compensation, and by their pop-up messages that appear at random A FULL TWENTY DAYS BEFORE YOU WOULD BE DISCONNECTED FOR NON PAYMENT, resulting in frustration and an inferior product. Coupled with the fact that their installer failed to connect my system to my phone jack, so I am unable to contact 'Dish home ' and remit payment. Well, I think you understand my issue.
Dish Network is, without a doubt, the most aggressive company I have ever dealt with in my life re: demanding to be paid. Not only that, they have no agreement with most of the networks they broadcast to allow you to view programming via your other devices, like phone or tablet. I have contacted my State Attorney General's office and later today the Better Business Bureau as well. I am contemplating filing a class action lawsuit. Dish Network, in the depths of their corporate ignorance, have brought me to this.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who has had issues with this company. We've had DISH for about 4 years and everything has been great until we left them for Suddenlink and then decided to come back. Our bill was $85 a month even after we moved into our new home and added another receiver. After paying $200 to restart our services and being assured that I would still be paying $85 a month, they decided to jack my bill up to $105. We came home from our honeymoon to find our service disconnected after only being 3 days late on our bill.
I call and after being treated like an idiot and them telling me that my bill went up because of the second receiver and repeatedly being told that I've only had one box all this time, they finally agreed to give me $10 discount on my bill for 6 months. I've had 2 receivers since we bought our new home over a year ago. I guess they live here since they put up a big argument over how many receivers I've had. So, I pay my bill and have my service restored. Then, I can't get the second receiver to work so they want to charge me for a tech to come out here and fix it and tell me that he will bring a replacement remote with him since mine wasn't working. He gets here, no remote. Had to call again to have one shipped to me and another 3 days without being able to use the receiver.
Finally got credits back for that. My bill was due on the 17th. I came home on the 19th to my service cut off. They say that's because I'm a prepaid account (I was not aware of this) and that they can't restore my service and give me an extension. I have to pay $105 to have it restored. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Didn't happen. I told them to send me a box so I can send the equipment back and that I was switching to DirecTV. I get an email saying my receivers have been disabled but I don't have to return them but I'm sure I'll get a bill for them before too long. Will never go back to DISH again!

On three occasions I have finally reached so-called assistants to the Dish President. They refuse to accept my cancellation and five different people try to renegotiate my contract, which I have outright rejected.
I have the last person finally said he would only accept by cancellation and remove their Dish on my roof if I paid $160 to remove it, and a $250 cancellation fee. I have informed them that under contract law, since it is Dish that has opened and tried to renegotiate and change the terms of the contract, which I have rejected, the contact is void and cancelled. I'm not sure if Dish is aware of the fact that we Oklahomans are very reliant upon our storm watchers and local television station's weather warnings and live coverage during our bouts with severe weather. This will leave a lot of folks around here in harm's way as they will more than likely not put up an antenna, and then go through the hassle of unhooking the cable connection and back and forth, from the antenna to Dish. We're only a couple of months from storm season and it looks as if Dish doesn't give a rat's patudy about the safety of its rural patrons - the folks that essentially got dish to where it is today.

I extremely dislike Dish Network and would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Whether it's them taking away channels for no reason (happens all the time), or the TV freezing on a channel and not showing anything (you have to reset your dish box) this has happened to me the past 5 times I've tried to watch TV. The warning about the the bill is also one of the most annoying things in the world. I broke my dish remote (they won't give me a new one) so now every time that warning about my bill comes up I have to stand up and walk across the room to get it to go away (even right after you pay your bill it won't go away). Plus I think I watch more commercials than I do the show. So, extremely disappointed with dish network and trust me if you want good TV, get Netflix or Hulu not Dish.

We got DISH in July because we needed a satellite Internet provider (no cable where we live) and DISH offered a good deal to bundle television with Wi-Fi service. To summarize briefly: Installer was foreign and did not understand our requirements, and could not communicate with us, as well as we with him. As a result, got a convoluted TV package with a terrible system of TV 1's, TV 2's. Programs that are being recorded prevent us from watching what we want; shows suddenly shut off before the end so as to record something else; unable to stop a show recording once it has started; have to go through several menu clicks to do a simple procedure, confusing method of setting up DVR system, etc.
These TV1 and TV2 options are maddening! I knew there would be a learning curve adjusting to a new system, but after 7 months I realize the problems are with the provider, not the user. I have to call them at least every month due to a technical problem. For example, called once because TV would not work, only displayed error message. Called tech support, said they would have to send out a technician (in 3 days and it would cost us a fee). I called back a few minutes later to cancel HBO, and when the customer service rep asked how my day was going, I said, "Not very well considering my DISH TV isn't working and I have to go out and buy an antenna so I can watch the game." She apologized, and then we hung up.
Lo and behold, the TV started working as if by magic, so somehow the CS agent was able to fix things remotely. Makes me wonder if they "randomly" mess up your signal to justify a service call. So I called back to cancel the service call, which for some reason cancelled my cancellation of HBO, which showed up as a charge on my bill. Confused? Not following all of this? I know - it's a circus, we can barely figure it out ourselves. Now, today, after canceling one scheduled show on my DVR recording device, all of my saved shows going back to July have been inadvertently wiped out - my recorded shows have disappeared. I'm done with DISH, I don't even care about the cancellation fee, it is worth every penny to get rid of this worthless piece of crap satellite service! Had DirecTV for 10 years with no issues. Can't wait to call them and have them come back and install a decent satellite service!

We had Dish network 3 years ago when we were living in a different state. When we moved we cancelled our policy and someone from Dish came to our home to remove all the exterior equipment. My husband asked him to take the cable box. The tech asked if we were going to subscribe to Dish when we moved to our new home. My husband said that he didn't know - we were moving to a smaller town in a different state and we didn't know what providers were available. The tech told my husband to just take the box with us because we had already purchased it anyway, and if we did get Dish in the future the process would be that much easier. So, we took the box.
Dish was not available in our new town. For a couple years we got cable from our local provider (new box of course). Meanwhile, the Dish box was tucked away in storage because we didn't know what to do with it anymore. It was ours (so we were told) but we didn't just want to throw it in the landfill. When we cancelled our service from our local provider we returned their box plus my husband took the Dish box to see if they could dispose of it. Keep in mind this was two years after we had cancelled our Dish service. Our local provider agreed to dispose of the box.
This week, now over THREE years after we cancelled our service, we suddenly received our first piece of mail in all that time from Dish, saying that we owed them $680 because we hadn't returned the box and that it had been turned over to collections! This is awful for us as we are in the process of getting financing to buy a home and this will be big ding to our credit. Is their any consumer advocacy group that can help the little guys like us get some justice?

Dish, although I paid directly to windstream.net (my phone service and my communications were strictly through them). They kept badgering me to pay $280 for cancellation of contract which is untrue. This went on through several collection agencies until mid-2014 when I had to pay a consumer agency to put a stop to them. Yes they did finally stop and I would tell the world do not go with DISH - in fact, their bills were more than what I had with Directv.

I changed my credit card once in September 2014 and started paying bills with personal checks and somehow they got hold of my new credit card number and the charges keep coming up. This has been happening for quite sometime now and with many consumers. Horrifying thing is Dish doesn't do a thing about it, if someone outside/unknown is doing this they should at least caution their customers of such things - sending some emails wouldn't cost anything but they don't do it - which makes me think if they are doing all this knowingly!

One month ago, my wife and I moved from the San Francisco bay area to the Eureka area and had our TV provider (Dish) transfer our service to our new location. Their service, quality and care in the Bay area had been top quality, but boy, we were in for a surprise. First, when the local Dish provider in our new location hooked up our equipment, they forgot to give us a channel guide. This may not seem like much, but many of the stations had different channel numbers than the ones in the Bay area, which made it hard to find our favorite programs.
Then our favorite station (ABC) had continuous problems; flickering, tiling, intermittent sound problems, etc. An average of 6 breaks in the transmission of shows every hour. I called Dish three times and each time they tried to fix the problem, to no avail. The third time I called (I was calling at one week intervals), I advised them that if they couldn't give us the service we were paying for, we would be a past customer. It didn't seem to phase them, as the transmission of ABC continued to be very intermittent.
When I called them to advise them that they were history, they had the audacity to say we would have to pay a $50.00 fee for breaking our part of the contract. I argued with one customer service person to no avail and asked for her supervisor. Her supervisor just kept saying, "You signed the contract that said you would have to pay the $50.00 fee if you terminated their service too soon." I kept saying, "Well, don't you think there should be some compensation for all the screwed up transmissions that made us unable to enjoy the programming on ABC, not to mention all the time I spent dealing with long waits for help on the phone and their inability to solve the problem??? If you leased a new car and it stopped running 6 times an hour and the company you leased the car from could not solve your problem, wouldn't you expect some sort of break on the billing?" The Dish supervisor did not budge.
Keep it up Dish, and you will be history. We switched over to SuddenLink today and ABC is coming in beautifully and I almost forgot, SuddenLink gave us a channel guide already. Thank you SuddenLink.

I have been with Dish for 20 years. Have had ups and downs but all have been minor and/or resolved till now. The problem is FoxSW. This is a regional sports network which is supposed to show local sports teams. In my case this includes the Astros and the Rockets, Spurs, and Mavericks. For years this wasn't a problem until the NBA Pass package came along. Now any NBA or MLB game that is offered on FoxSW leads to a message that this program is unavailable in your area. I could get the games if I paid 199$ for the NBA Pass package. I currently pay 139$ monthly with HBO package. Right now I would like to watch the Rockets as they have a good team and are doing well. I called Dish and was told several times that the games were being blocked by the NBA because they have the right to block games because they are not sold out.
I have put up with this for years but now with the Rockets doing so well decided to do some checking. Before each game I started calling the ticket office and was told on several occasions that the game was sold out. Still the game would be blocked. When I pointed this out to Dish the call was redirected to a supervisor where the story changed to it was a contract problem with Root entertainment or somebody who produced the games. I questioned why I was told otherwise and really didn't receive an answer other than we're sorry. I also asked why since it was someone else's fault why Dish doesn't post a note to that effect as they did with Fox News and was told that suggestion would be submitted to management.
At this point I am highly suspicious that Dish and the NBA are working together to make people, out of frustration, pay 199$ so that they can watch NBA games. I also suspect that soon a MLB package will be coming along if it hasn't already.

Not so, you will pay your monthly bill until your contract ends. I cannot even send back the equipment that is in my way, because they will not send a requested label or box to me. DISH is now a legal fraud and I accuse them of elder abuse. Please be careful!

DISH Network has us locked in a contract with many months left of it. Fox News has been removed for almost a month now. No credit to our account. When I complained on their FB page, they blocked me so that I couldn't make anymore comments on there. We would like to leave them but I understand that they are asking approx. $500 for early termination fees. Now we didn't violate our end of the contract, but they did theirs. Plus we don't even have a copy of the contract. And my credit card company provided DISH Network with a number of a card that had not been activated yet.
When I called them today, they refused to block DISH from continuing to put charges on the credit card and admitted that they had given them the new number on the card. Now my only recourse is to close that credit card with them. Is anyone going to bring a class action suit against DISH Network?? Something needs to be done as we are being held hostage by DISH Network. As seniors on a fixed income, there is no way that we can pay them their high early termination fees.

The tech was really nice and even called into customer service for me informing them I can't receive any reception in my home and tried to help me cancel or even get partial fee reduced, but to NO AVAIL!
Customer service informed me, you are ** out of luck! What kind of option is that keep paying for a dang service that I can't use! I told the rep, Dish is breaching my contract, you promised to provide service and you can't come through, I want the service so come and install it! Now that I am moving, I have reactivated the Dish account for the new address and want to add internet because Uverse is not available.
An hour on the phone and being transferred 6 times to different departments; all of which, can't do anything and keep saying they have to transfer again. Twice I was deliberately put into a call loop that is never answered but if I hang up and call right back, I talk with someone who begins the process all over again! I am beyond frustrated, I have called back now two times to cancel the service and go with another provider and again, I am directed to departments that cannot or are unwilling to do anything. Since that time, I have had numerous issues with Dish, i.e. customer service, technical issues, etc. On 01/05/15, Dish accessed two (2) monthly payments for 2 months of service from my Credit Union account (which was not acceptable). After numerous phone calls with Dish "reps", I said I wanted to cancel my account, to have someone pick up equipment, i.e. box and satellite (as well as any ancillary equipment). Today was the final straw. I contacted Dish and indicated that I wanted to cancel my account. They wanted a $480.00 cancellation fee (directly taken out of my Credit Union) because I wanted out of everything to do with Dish! I had no idea that there was a cancellation fee if cancelled before 24 months. I have had nothing but problems with Dish ever since I signed up. To add insult to injury, Dish also wants to, and will, charge me for removing the equipment, and another charge ($70.00) to mail it back to Dish in Palatine, IL. DISH Cancelled access to all Fox News/Business channels in December 2104. This is just the latest in a list of Bait and Switch tactics including cancelling AMC during which popular shows such as Walking Dead and Mad Men were viewed. Yes, the residential contract does specify DISH can change any programming or pricing at any time without notice to the customers. However, the DISH sales and customer support reps promise you will receive all currently listed programming. Indeed, they are trained specifically NOT to tell potential customers that they can remove or change any programming. I was told this by two DISH customer service and supports reps in two calls. This is consumer fraud and coercion.
The FCC, the US Justice Department, and States Attorneys General (in states where DISH has cancelled services) should investigate and prosecute DISH for false advertising and deceptive sales practices. Minimally, consumers should be allowed out of contracts that were coerced and deceptively presented by DISH and its representatives.

First, we did not receive the gift card, as promised. Second they did not give us the channels we had ordered. Third, they canceled Fox and its affiliates. Fourth, Dish did not offer any compensation for this action. Fifth, Dish proceeded to lie, blame and rationalize the situation. Sixth, they threatened legal action against us for dropping them after they violated our contract. Seventh, and lastly, Dish has failed to deliver channels that were in the contract and failed to deliver a decent line up, meaning most of their channels are not worth watching. Dish has lied to their subscribers, threatened the subscribers with legal action, and have not lived up to the agreement that they laid out in their contract. We are hoping to join a class action suit against Dish for complete reimbursement for all monies we have paid Dish.

I agree with most of the posts. I believe this move with the removal of Fox is more political than financial. I don't really care about the reasons. We pay an exorbitant amount for a couple of hundred channels we never watch. The reason we went with this package is they supplied the channels we DID want to watch. They indeed, DID break their contract with us and should be held to account! $5 a month restitution is insulting. Simple: If Dish no longer wishes to supply programming I want, there are others out there that can.
We are 15-year ex-loyal customers who will make the change the very day we return home from vacation. Their excuses and apologies are not only pitiful, but insulting to intelligent viewers. We would love to see a class action lawsuit. Overdue, just like their responsibilities to their loyal customers that have made them fabulously rich. July 2013 we acquired Dish network TV and Dish net Internet service having to go into a 2-year contract. The actual service was sketchy where we were and did not get very good service. We were told that it was because of where we lived, that we were on the edge of service area (satellite service I guess doesn't reach outside of town). 11 months after starting service the property owner decided to sell the place forcing us to move. So, we had to move service to another address which Dish was going to charge for. Now they claim to move you for free on television but that is not actually true. They will give you a free installation once a year. So I fought with them over this as I had service for 11+ out of 12 months to qualify for it. They did end up moving me for free but it took 2 weeks to schedule installation, and when they came to do the installation it was rescheduled due to not having the proper equipment to install off the building as I had informed them about when I scheduled that installation.
The second attempt to install was just as bad. When the tech came to do the installation he had put up two dish stands on my neighbor's property area and told me that it was temporary and would be fixed the following week. Nearly a month later nobody had fixed this issue nor had they even scheduled anyone to fix the issue. My neighbor was pissed off about it. After seeing a Charter Commercial saying they will buy out our contract with Dish, I called Dish Network up and explained my issues with them and was canceling my service with them to move on to Charter's better service and they will buy my contract out from them. "Please send the contract termination bill so I could forward it to Charter immediately." At the same time I payed my final bill for service and the shipping charges to send their equipment back to them. I was set up on an auto pay so I explained to them that they were no longer authorized to take any more payment from that account. I was told that it was a separate system and had to go to that site to cancel auto pay, so I did so.
Now after 3-4 months of calling Dish about getting my contact termination bill, they have not sent me one to forward to Charter to be paid. Now Charter requires that you send them the bill along with their paperwork within 90 days for the contract to be bought out, and I have still not received that bill from Dish. About month 4 after cancelling service with Dish and speaking with their customer service department nearly every week, my bank account that I removed from auto pay was charged $504 for that contract termination, and still have not received a paper bill to forward to Charter. Needless to say I went straight to the bank and filled a fraud dispute on them. Nearly 90 days later my bank returned the money to my account siding with the charges were not authorized. (Yay bank).
Now, literally 2 days after I received that letter from my bank, Dish finally sends me a final bill that reads more like I owe them for service not contract termination charges. So if anyone is paying attention, that's nearly 6 months after the 90 days required by Charter to pay off my termination of Dish. Dish Network is a fraudulent company intentionally withholding termination bills knowing another company would pay it off. I didn't think that a huge company like Dish Network would be so infantile over customers changing to a better company (It's like being punished for wanting a better company serving me). Now I am stuck paying for that termination charge that otherwise would have been payed for changing service.

I called and went through the steps and after resetting the hopper time and time again I got tired of it. Then they canceled the good news channels and that did it, the customer service was the worst in the world. The wait was 30 minutes and the first time - they dropped my call so I had to call back and wait another 30 minutes. I hope this complaint is seen before another person gets sucked in to their long contracts that you cannot get out of and you will not get what you paid for. I was offered as their best offer $10.00 off my bill for the next 10 months and 4 pay-per-view codes for a free movie that have to be used by April 1. Think this valued customer might walk over to Direct but here Direct is just as bad. Plus, DISH is going to raise their fees soon! Think I might be cutting the cable!

I tried to cancel their subscription and called three times and was put on hold, transferred to different departments, drove to their home (60+ miles away) and retrieved a location ID number. After calling the fourth time, was told the ID number changes several times a day and wasn't valid!!! Asked for a supervisor, was transferred again a couple of times to the loyalty dept. Finally the girl said it was canceled, after pressuring me to give or take the equipment and subscribe for my use. I said I have cable and if I ever decided to get satellite services, IT WOULD NOT BE WITH DISH NETWORK. Their customer service is terrible!!!! Beyond terrible!! I hope that one day when they have elderly parents and have to take over their business ordeals that they have a similar experience - it is not pleasant. I think DISH was not honest with me when we signed up for DISH on November 6th. Our request was to receive FOX NEWS and the public stations in our area which is WDSC. Having been away for the month of December we were greatly disappointed that both those stations are not available to us and we feel we should be able to get out of our contract. We have spoken on the phone after waiting at least an hour only to be hung up on. Please do the right thing and let us cancel our agreement.

From the time they installed Dish Network in my home it has be an absolute nightmare. I refused to sign the contract upon installation, due to the fact after the install and even before I signed their contract, things began to look fishy. So here we are, I told the installer to just go ahead and remove all dish networks stuff. Due to the fact that when I agreed to go with dish over the phone, the condition was, I would not be under any contract at all. The tech called dish, told them I would not sign, and wanted everything taken back out, dish calls me and confirms my agreement. So the tech leaves with nothing signed by me or anyone in my home. I get my first bill. It was $478.00. I call dish, they said it was for installation fee, I was told it was free. Anyway I tell them to cancel the service and come get there stuff. They then tried to say I was under contract and that they had my signature on the contract, so I told them to send me a copy of the contract with my signature on it.
I received the contract and it had my name signed to the contract, for the record I had my neighbors witness that I did not sign there contract. Hence, Dish forged my name/ signature, so I called them and just requested a copy of my "so called signed contract again" this time I receive the same contract but where a signature goes it says "REFUSED" so I call and ask dish about the problem and could not get any help, or even a comment. I had them to send out return boxes for their equipment, they continued to insist I was under contract and that in that contract it gives the the right to charge my account whatever they want. I responded send me the boxes and ill see you in court if you try. I received the boxes two weeks later, I packed up all the stuff and had to pay $17 for each box 3 boxes. As soon as UPS picked up the boxes they charged my account.$547.17.
Long story short, no matter what you do, Dish network is corrupt, they also can and do remove stations based on there political views. Century 21, or fox news. Pbs. Etc. I was told by my bank and an attorney, it would cost more than I have to fight it, and that they would win. Even with all the evidence and witness I had. Here is my advise. If you plan to go with dish network, pay using a prepaid visa card that has no connection to you personally. Also get ready to get screwed no matter what you do. Dish is not bound by the law. They are evil to the core. I can back up and prove everything I've said here today. I hope you do not allow dish to lie cheat and steal you're hard earned money. I also had to close my checking account to stop them from illegally taking any more of my money. This is a very true story.

A couple weeks ago, Fox News was dropped and they added that channel I requested to never be on our tv was back on. I called furious! I told them if they did not remove that channel and one cent of our money went towards it I would call an attorney. They apologized, offered is $20 off our bill per month per no contract obligation and he would add a note that stated that channel would never be on our tv and assured me that not one penny was going towards that channel. I looked and it is on our tv lineup. My family is disgusted. Also, we lose Fox News which our entire household loves and we have a channel we are 100% against on? Could not make rep understand that I wanted to cancel. My contract ran out several years ago. As I could not confirm a cancellation process, I clicked on the email button, but it went right back to live chat. I finally found an email address for corporate sales, advising them that I was disconnecting their service, and if no further instructions were received, their equipment would be returned to corporate headquarters. Since they began removing programs that I contracted for, I no longer have faith in Dish. Also, I have had to have receivers replaced frequently (defective equipment). Am going to DirecTV. I cancelled Dish starting the 8th of January because they violated our contract. The rationale for their contract is to bully the consumer with cancellation fees etc. and keep unhappy customers from fleeing. Dish has not responded to my numerous calls to give me a date when the Fox contract would be resolved or the very least give me an assurance that there would be a resolution shortly. Unable to do that I cancelled and was transferred to the "President Office" where I was bullied by a supervisor with a strange accent (so much for the US based customer support). This individual told me I would be responsible for cancellation fees of up to $370. I said “Ok and my cancellation for not providing the channels that I contracted for so happens to be $370 so we can say we are even. A contract is a two way street, a violation can be resolve in court.” I told him. And I said "God Bless You". He got mad and said he would not change his mind - their contract is a valid contract. I advised him that our conversation was being recorded just as they advise that the telephone conversation is being recorded. He hung up.
I am on auto pay with my credit card - I called the credit card and advised them not to accept any charges from this merchant except for a credit that Dish owes me after my cancellation date which is paid in advance. Based on this conversation I am willing and able to afford any court cost and would also willing to go with a class action suit if needed. I am a DISH Network subscriber for the previous 9 years. From my experience it is not unusual for Dish Network to drop channels in their programming without notice or billing compensation to their subscribers. Dropping FOX news and business channels, and falsely placing the blame on the channels being lost on FOX via their onscreen guide, regardless of what all news outlets are saying, that it was Dish's decision, is the last straw for me. My Dish bill for 1 DVR tuner and 1 standard tuner on the "top 120" programing level is $89 and change per month. I have already contacted DIRECTV, tomorrow they will be here to disconnect dish’s equipment and set me up with 3 receivers and over 200 channels of HD programming and my new bill will be around $64, promotional price for 10 months that will include three months of all premium movie channels and the remainder of the season on NFL Sunday Ticket free.
Tomorrow FOX will be back on the TVs in this household plus a hell of a lot more for a lot less money - and one other little thing: all 3 receivers from DirecTV will be HD DVR also! I'm almost glad Dish cut the FOX channels now, I had no idea how hard they were screwing me, and everyone else too. The only thing the dish rep offered for the inconvenience of blocking channels, was a $5 monthly credit for 6 months.. $30. I'll almost save that much with 1 month on DirecTV, and have FAR more and better service than with Dish.

As for the lack of ala carte like the old c band days...it has zero to do with technology. The programming providers (MTV, fox, TNT, etc.) Bundle their channels and then require the service providers (dish, DirecTV, cox, etc) to provide them as bundled so the program provider can charge more to their advertisers on the lower end channels. Further investigation on my part reveals a sad history with this guy and what is even more unsettling is he wants to merge with DirecTV which has been shut down by the FCC citing a monopoly. Thank God the government got this one right, but further illustrates the character of the chairman of Dish.

When I was leaving, I called to disconnect and was told that I had a two-year contract! I have spoken to everyone including Florence ** in the President's office - yeah right - I think it was someone in another country. I've called so many times to lower my bill, and am now at practically the lowest package available. Of course they don't lessen the shopping channels, there's actually duplicates of those! Or the paid advertisement channels. Their answer to commercials; spend more money on the hopper. NO! I spend enough now. Every month my bill seems to go up. I hate the commercials, the shopping channels, I don't watch sports, nor do I watch the inspirational channels, leaving me with about five channels that have 70% commercial time. We looked to cancel but they said we are in a year long contract and we are not authorized to cancel. My wife asked for a rebate seeing we are no longer receiving channels initially agreed upon. They said they were not obligated to do so and therefore would not. Regardless, we still wanted to opt out of the contract and get service elsewhere, but they refused to cancel the account. I have looked on the web and see (like this site) that there are a lot of people complaining about the same thing. Specifically people are upset over not being able to view Fox Network channels.
I think Fox should step in for those wanting to view their network. I know it's law that local channels be available and you can receive access to local channels without having / needing cable of any sort, but I am sure this still does not provide anything beyond the local channels. Anyone, an Attorney/Law Firm should look to do a class action lawsuit - this site alone has close to 4,000 complaints. I am looking to call Direct TV to see if they will intervene on my behalf. I am also going to tweet to those at Fox i.e. Megyn Kelly in hopes that might do a segment. I hope that gives some folks ideas.

There is no way that any satellite provider pays programs to be on their airwaves. Rather, it is the other way around. Otherwise, why would every program have to take commercial breaks? Because the commercials pay them (like FOX) so that the program can afford to pay air time to DISH. Pretty simple. Get FOX back, and soon, or we will end our two-year contract with DISH, even if we have to pay a penalty. This is something we do not want to do, as we have always liked everything about the operation of DISH. But, as it is said, "We gotta do what we gotta do!" And another thing... After going 3 rounds with Customer Service it was agreed that we should not be changed for anything we did not want nor would not use. That was the capability of the new receivers they insisted upon installing which were DVR. Unless we allowed them to put holes in the walls for new cables and shelving to accept additional receivers, the DVRs were the only way we could run 2 TV sets from 1 receiver.
Needless to say, we did not want 4 receivers which would have meant redecorating our rooms to accept 2 more receivers. With their assurance that our monthly bill would remain the same, we agreed to let them put in the 2 receivers that were DVR. Just got our bill. In Alaska I have 3 dishes and full set-ups for four rooms, and tons of Dish equipment. I have been with Dish or over 20 years and have always been satisfied until now. Changing to DirecTV is an option but how do I know the Fox contracts won't need to be renegotiated there too? I reminded Dish of the poor business decision NETFLIX made a few years ago when they raised prices and customers fled like rats off a sinking ship. Netflix reversed their decision and their subscribers came back. When I spoke to FOX I reminded them that the electorate that just turned this country from Democrat blue to REPUBLICAN RED, are also the supporters of Fox... It will not bode well for either company if this blackout continues. 14 million viewers being used as pawns in this 'game of greed' helps no one. Man-up, and go back to the negotiating table or you all will feel our wrath! Aren't the NFL playoffs broadcast from the Fox channel? Are we supposed to miss those too?
