I worked with ADP workforce up North, and believed I would have the same customer service I had prior. The transition was pushed through and my first payroll was a HORRIBLE experience. I had 3 employees not get paid on time and none of the bank accounts were prenoted. I just found out 3 days ago, ADP does not prenote bank accounts. I still have issues with the reporting and 401K deductions. You can not create your own reports from scratch with only certain data. Only the fields they provide. They can create a custom report, but it is the same fields you have access to and you still have to manually enter data.

Our IRA deductions were not calculated correctly and I had to fight with client services over the deduction. Finally a manager contacted me and said there was a way to override the system, which he did, but he did not shut off the deduction that was incorrect, so they took the deduction twice on the employer match. Not only do I not hear back from the sales rep when needed, I literally have to send numerous e-mails, I no longer hear back from the manager. I e-mailed 6 days ago and was told he would look into it asap and let me know. Client services wait time is about 30 minutes... Hopefully you get someone that actually knows what they are talking about. Sometimes you do and others you don't. I would no longer unfortunately recommend ADP.

I contacted ADP customer service to file a dispute that my card was stolen/lost and I had charges and ATM withdrawals that I did not authorize (my pin was written in an envelope which if someone found that envelope my card was also in the envelope). I spoke with a representative named Wendell. Wendell told me that he would put a priority on my claim and also put in a request for provisional credit since my card was stolen while I was out of town and I had no, none, zero money!

I called ADP the next day and spoke with another customer service representative and she told me they don’t do such things. They have no way to put a priority on a claim since they are investigated in order (10 - 15 business days) and they don’t request provisional credits. I was beyond pissed because I was lied to. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager Mike told me that the first representative misunderstood what said and that Wendell did put in a request for expedited claim and provisional credit but those are subject to approval. So who do I believe? I called another time after that and they told me they do not expedite claims or do priority claims. Once again I became furious. Then they told me my provisional credit was denied!!

First of all I am in another state with no money. No way to buy a taxi to even go to the airport. Nothing. Not to mention if I was given a provisional credit and for whatever reason my claim was denied, which it should not be, you do my company payroll; you could have taken whatever credit you gave me back on my next paycheck, right? Then they write me an email which I will try to attach asking me questions that they asked me the first time I called to make the claim.

I am out a lot of money and every time I expected them to be relatable to me the customer I have been let down. They need to train their representatives on what they can or cannot do and I expect to be told the truth when I call. If you can’t help me out then say I am not able to do anything at this time but don’t give me false hope. I am very disappointed with ADP and would expect a faster turnaround time for claims. If someone’s money was taken 10 - 15 business days is a long time for someone to have to wait to get their money back. Also the new card they said they sent still has not arrived yet. Just terrible service and disappointing.

Don’t do business with this company! I signed with ADP and before the ink was even dry they were go with no replacement rep provided. They never came back to show me how to do payroll online. Second my weekly fee was quoted at one price and they charged me over $20 a week more than I signed my contract for. They claim they can’t reimburse on old invoices. Don’t do business with them. Once you sign on the dotted line they leave you high and dry.

For over a year, ADP has been unable to process our payroll correctly. Every week, I place approximately 2-3 calls resulting in hours of wasted time trying to get payroll correct. Every week I have to calculate gross wages manually because ADP's system cannot be trusted. What worked last week, probably won't work this week. I would not recommend ADP services for anyone - keep shopping for a different payroll service.

We used ADP for about 7 months. They are HORRIBLE! Worst customer service, every time we called it took them 30 minutes just to get a representative on the phone. The worst part is they paid duplicate to all employees for 1 day. We complained about it, they assured us that someone will investigate the issue and get back to us. No one did. Every time we asked for an update about our duplicate pay they ignored us.

After spending 3 hours on customer service their only response is that there is nothing that they can do since the money was taken out and I need to wait for my federal tax refund. Company has no accountability. Our company will be taking our payroll services to another company.

Our company chooses to use ADP to complete payroll services, with the new update we have experienced numerous issues. Every time that support is contacted to resolve these issues the representatives are very sarcastic and rude. It seems pretty clear that they do not care about their customers OR how they speak to them. If this happened once or twice I would not be writing a review but this is consistently every time we call for support. It is bad enough that we cannot access what we need on the website we pay for, being talked down to when asking for help just makes it that much worse. Would love to see customer service improve.

I am terminating ADP services as of payroll week October 23 to 29th/Pay Date October 5, 2018. I am also requesting a refund of the monies I have paid for payroll processing and other services. The entire process was extremely poorly executed and I continuously experience problems/lack of problem resolution when contacting support.

Upon initially contacting Don ** in late October/Early November about utilizing ADP for payroll services, I told him that I had two goals: (1) to save time and (2) to export our payroll items by name vice just an actual pay rate as QuickBooks was currently doing. Don assured me ADP could accomplish my objectives. We agreed for ADP to do payroll starting January 7, 2018/Pay Date January 13, 2018. Don indicated that this would give us enough time to implement ADP into Right at Home. The kickoff meeting scheduled for December 13, 2018, with Denise **. It was a very cursory meeting with no in-depth explanation of how ADP works. She had no idea what my background was i.e. QuickBooks internal payroll.

Our next meeting was canceled for January 11, 2018 with our next call scheduled for February 1, 2018 we also had teleconferences on February 22 and March 1, 2018. As you will note, there were very few meetings completed/scheduled for such a complex system. And very little prep work was done for me to understand the system and what it encompassed. As a minimum, one should have provided an overview of the system and how it would operate. Note: It is possible that we did have more than the above meetings but these are the ones for which I have recorded in my Microsoft Outlook. In any case, the number of meetings was minimal.

I was completely in the dark during time we were implementing ADP. The ADP Workforce Now program is very complex and I really was not sure where we were going. I complained to Don ** about the lack of communication with Denise and he was amazed that I did not have more contact with Denise. As all this was going on, I was taking several elementary ADP classes, but at no time was I given an overview of the program so I never did feel like I was “in the program.”

I was told by Don that my payroll item names would be imported directly by ADP. During my first session with Sedrick ** to implement the payroll import process, I was told we could not import payroll using the payroll item names exported from our ClearCare program. We needed to reduce these down to a three digit code. I should have shut ADP down right then and continued my internal QuickBooks operation. However, I persevered and developed a conversion process in Excel that converted the ClearCare pay codes to 3 digit codes. We used these codes briefly until I was told that the three digit codes must include a payroll overtime code.

So I completely redid the spreadsheet conversion program to 3 digit codes that included overtime. During the whole process, Sedrick was apparently let go after he did not show for one of our sessions. Gene ** replaced Sedrick and we found that Sedrick had not completed his work on so I explained to Gene what we had accomplished before. We were able to get the conversion program to work. (Note: I have not mentioned anything about including holidays! More on that later…)

We did partially implement ADP for the schedule payroll date; however, it was not really complete as several major items were not installed prior to rollout: PTO and the QuickBooks interface file system. It is unsatisfactory to not implement either aspect of the payroll system prior to rolling out the ADP system. It took into well into March to get these portions of the program working correctly. I gave ADP the PTO balances for our employees prior to implementation. PTO implementation just kept dragging out. I finally had to re-compute the PTO times again because ADP did not get it correct. During this whole 2+ month period, I was blind regarding PTO – and my employees were extremely frustrated as was I. When I expressed to Denise my frustrations with not having correct payroll information in QuickBooks, I was told that ADP did not routinely implement QB Interface File transfer until later on after payroll was started.

QuickBooks interface files did not work correctly. This aspect did not work initially and I will bring up later on where the issue resurfaced a second time. I had to use of bookkeeper which I paid $65 per hour to make it work. I spent at least four hours of her time (and some extra time for me!) trying to make it work. Holidays. ADP was given our holidays, yet they were not taken into account. On Memorial Day, my employees complained that they did not receive holiday pay. And they did not. I called ADP and was told that it was not coded into the system. I manually had to compute holiday pay and reimburse the employees. More work on my part.

When I generated my third set three digit codes to encompass holidays, I was told that I had to input them myself in the ADP. I stated that I was not doing so after which I was told it would take months for ADP to implement them. Sure enough, it was not done before July 4 so I did manual overtime designation as a stop gap measure for July. This drew complaints from my employees as they expected holiday codes. I later was called by ADP about implementing holiday codes, but it was after the July 4 payroll and I knew I was leaving ADP so I never returned her call.

Imports. Part of my payroll process is to input some miscellaneous payroll items such as mileage, bonuses etc. I track these in an Excel spreadsheet so I decided to import the spreadsheet. Importing would save more time and be less error-prone. I contacted ADP three times to gain some assistance with this process. During the first two calls, I realized the people did not know how to import pay data, so I hung up twice and when I called back, the third person seemed to know how to do it so I went with their advice. It failed miserably and completely messed up payroll. After many complaints from the employees, I called ADP and the lady that help me bent over backwards fix the problem. She manually entered all of the information and re-ran payroll. She had excellent customer service skills.

It was during the above evolution that I uncovered another issue: incorrect displayed payroll rates. Several (if not all) of the pay statements displayed incorrect payroll rates. However, the actual pay appeared to be correct. For example, if someone was supposed to be paid $10.50 per hour for the PCA pay rate and they worked 10 hours, the total pay for that PCA pay rate should be $105.00. However, the displayed PCA pay rate would be $10.00. I called to ask about this, and hung up after 50 minutes as no one could give me an answer.

I did not have time to waste on this. And, Oh by the way, some of the pay rates went out to 4 digits and would have something in the Ten-thousandths column. For example, $10.7504. No one could explain that to me, either. MIL, MER and UNI. Following the big problem with importing, another problem resurfaced. The QuickBooks interface file quit working with several codes. Again, I had to pay extra for my QuickBooks expert (at $65 per hour!) to work with ADP to fix the issue that had developed. I was told that the MIL (and possibly the UNI and MER) codes were not mapped and were not working correctly.

That is why the QuickBooks interface file was not working. Funny. The MIL/MER/UNI codes had been working before. Why not now? They needed to be mapped we were told. During the issue with MIL/MER/UNI, I was told that the mileage was taxable so the fix for the MIL/MER/UNI problem had to account for taxing the mileage reimbursement. Prior to using ADP, we did not tax the mileage reimbursement. None of the information that ADP extracted from my QuickBooks system would indicate that it was taxable.

On August 8, 2018, I asked Don ** to show me anything that I have given ADP that showed me telling them to tax mileage. I have heard nothing back from him. Don did respond to my request of “fix” incorrectly taxed item with a response coming from Stacey ** sending me an email with a number of complex items that I am supposed to fill out. I am also supposed to agree to pay for any Amendments required to fix the problem.

As one who wanted to save time and streamline the whole payroll process, the amount of paperwork required has just been staggering for trying to work within a very complex system for which I have received minimal training. Many of the support people have not been sympathetic to my plight. Stacey is a perfect example. She just sent me the paperwork and wanted me to forge on. She was completely non-responsive to the fact that it was ADP fault that all of this happened. As with the Holiday (lack 0f) situation, I was told to fix it or wait several months.

Onboarding. When I signed on, I was told that there was a great onboarding system would allow the employees to process the paperwork online. We spent the required time implementing the system. It did allow the employees to complete their paperwork online. However, (1) we were not notified when the paperwork was completed, (2) we could not find the paperwork, and (3) we could not access the completed paperwork. I was told by my rep, Don **, that he would follow up and see what expectations there were to get it working. I have not heard anything to this day.

Recruiting. In addition to the onboarding process, I asked for the recruiting process to be included. It initially produced some applicants, but the applications died off very quickly and no one could help me with producing applicants again. Overall time requirement. ADP is a VERY complex system. Completing even single actions can be very complex. For the most part I call ADP to do just about anything out of the normal. I spend much time on hold and waiting for the person on the other in to talk to someone else about the solution. I get obviously incorrect information so I will hang up and try again hoping for someone else. I was not made aware of how complex ADP would be.

Behind the scenes calculation. I never felt comfortable with the behind the scenes calculation I cannot access with some Calculations pay type items are being accomplished. Complexity. I am routinely asked by the Help people about certain parts of the system which I have never had explained to me during my onboarding. The whole onboarding made me feel like I was in the dark. I did not know what was next. I am asked about the validation tables, yet I do not have access to how they are being computed. Most recently I was sent an email that referenced “completing the client defined taxing routine – grid form.” Of all the documents that were attached to the email, there was not a grid form. Am I to assume that they mean spreadsheets when they say grid?

The forms that are furnished by ADP are very complex and I get no assistance in how to complete them. I was not adequately trained. The training did not cover what I need to know. The assistance I was provided was not correct the implementation began before all systems/information was in place (PTO/holidays/interface files). The ADP payroll process should not have begun until ADP had all systems in place and I was adequately trained. The program manager should have done her job and managed the implementation. There were failures at many levels due to poor/unknowledgeable support staff and I am throwing in the towel with ADP and am asking for a full refund due to the extreme amount of time and effort has taken just to keep payroll going.

All churches were forced to use ADP for payroll services in January 2018. ADP continually charges fees for services not provided such as courier services and unexplained services (no invoices provided even when requested multiple times). They charge $200 in late fees if payroll is submitted after 3pm even if payroll turned in 7 days early. Fees are automatically taken out of our checking account without review and agreement of fees being accurate. I have opened multiple tickets for review and resolution, and it's to no avail. I can't understand how a payroll company and the archdiocese can agree to giving direct access to a church's bank account to allow and support billing errors. It's like stealing from God.

Our company has been an ADP partner for years. However, over the recent years in 2017 & 2018, ADP has dropped the ball numerous times in filing our taxes properly. I reported the problems as soon as we were notified by the state, and it took months to resolve, repeated emails with either no response or a simple "we're working on it." I finally had to resolve part of our problems myself because ADP was unable to provide the proper reporting to our state.

I sent them multiple emails expressing my dissatisfaction with how our account had been handled and received zero response. It's really appalling to me that no one cared enough to even apologize. ADP does not care about the quality of service they provide. And when they make a mistake it takes months and months of me following up to double check their work and make sure they do the job and get it corrected. I can no longer have faith in this company and we are actively seeking other options.

I also tried seeing if they had received the overpayment since it had been over two weeks and I confirmed with the law firm the date 11/29/18 and address when and where it was mailed to and of course to a PO box in El Paso Texas. Apparently it must be the stone age still in El Paso where you have to ride a horse to deliver a message or mail. She said it hasn't been received and I needed to get the check numbers.

Well I get the check numbers and call again, spoke to someone different and I tried telling them I have the check numbers then this person wouldn't even let me tell her but told me if they received they would mail back to the employer and of course offers my employer number. It's been over 3 weeks and no one has any idea, where the checks are. I try to find out information and ask questions but it's always someone that acts like they can't understand a word you are saying and sounds scripted. I went through ADP to have them do my payroll. I believe that ADP tries to upsell you in working with them just to make money without understanding you or your line of work to make sure it is a good fit. They suggested that I get my Worker's Comp insurance through them. In doing so I had to get paid every 30 days which we are real estate agents who work on commission and we don't get paid every 30 days. Since we were paid at times and not in that 30 days window they kept threatening me with fees and cancellation.

So I figured I would go back to my original broker to pay my WC in a monthly payment as was doing before ADP. After signing up with ADP I didn't realize they put me in a term policy and that by canceling they would take the remaining money out of my account and when I canceled they said I would be charged fees, but didn't explain it would be hundreds of dollars. It was like, "Go ahead and cancel. We will take your money anyways." I am very dissatisfied with the disclosure process of ADP and WC insurance company they tied me into.

This is in response to the negative consumer affairs review posted by Diane Schoenhoff (“Client”). Automatic Data Processing Insurance Agency Inc., (ADPIA) an affiliate of ADP, LLC and we take these matters seriously and has fully reviewed our file and investigated the concerns articulated by the Client. The Client obtained a workers’ compensation policy in May 2018 through ADPIA and at the same time choose to add a payroll enhancement feature, ADP’s Pay-by-Pay, a Premium Payment solution that assists ADP payroll clients by calculating and paying workers’ compensation premium directly to their carrier based on the actual payroll of the Client.

In this instance ADPIA’s records indicate that two service representatives had in depth discussions with the Client regarding the Pay-by-Pay feature in July and alternative options. ADPIA works in good faith to provide the best solutions, reviewing each client’s unique circumstances. Client was offered an alternative billing option direct with their carrier and was transferred to the carrier to set that up. The Client however decided to instead mid-term cancel their policy and now looks to characterize the situation as a failure of disclosure by ADPIA/ADP. It is unfortunate that the Client had this experience, however the premiums and fees incurred are specific terms of the Client’s insurance policy, governed by the carriers and the states.

After pressuring them, they finally admitted that they have ONE month of checks that are uncashed (meaning they canceled insurance for a whole bunch of people). They promised to call back and resolve this issue, but nothing. Emails go unanswered as well. I called again and they still haven't found it. They also offer no solution.

I lost my card and placed an order for a new one and waited about a week and some days before calling the payroll reps and get told, it's been a mistake with the card so they sent so they're sending me a new card. I then wake up the next morning to money withdrew out my account, and when I call they tell me it was a fee for the "NEW" replacement card even though they NEVER told me there was a fee for a replacement card and even though I NEVER actually received the card at all. So they DID fix the issue and reimburse me the money they withdrew, AFTER wasting about an hr speaking to different reps and explaining my situation because almost NONE of them actually understand English and it was very apparent they didn't have any regards of transferring me to a American worker (either that or didn't have an American worker and tried to cover it up with offering to speak to their supervisor, who also doesn't speak much English!).

All in all, I would rate them a 2 out of 5 but hopefully that'll change once I receive this new card. To anybody looking into opening an account with ADP I would advise otherwise as they make withdraws out your account without notifying you or without your consent and when you do have an issue you need fixed they ALL say different things and they ALL don't know English completely.

Unfortunately the implementation person was very unresponsive to our needs, extremely tardy in getting back to us if ever, and dragged out the whole situation for now almost 2 months when I was told it would have all been done in two weeks. Time and attendance still have not been updated to new profile, even when I was promised it to be done and handled by 27th November.

As of now my employees cannot even click in so no time stamps are being captured. When we finally had enough and send an email to all the unresponsive people saying that we would like to withdraw our companies from ADP they phoned my office and gave a number to my employee to give to me. Our medical center's number is not even listed as a contact number. Super unprofessional. Please think twice before you invest with this company. It will be a bad investment and precious time lost.

ADP is fine if you have no payroll issues. Ever. Once you do you're screwed. They messed up a local tax issue for one of our employees a year ago and STILL haven't fixed it and tried charging us to fix their mistake. Our staff accountant calls them weekly for an update and is told someone will contact her...no one ever does. An ADP rep actually called her this morning only to tell her they have never started the fix for this even though we have a few different e-mail strings and a case number. We've had case numbers several times where we've had to reach out again and again to ADP only to find out they didn't do what they needed to on their end. Then you get to explain for the 849th time and to yet another new rep what the original issue was.

Calling ADP results in extremely long hold times. They have too many unnecessary platforms requiring a different log-in for each one. Customer Service is HORRIBLE and has obviously been moved to India and you can't understand half the reps you speak with. They advertise updates through the software that never happen. They change formats unnecessarily and often so you have to go searching for the new way to do things you do on a daily/weekly basis. I can go on and on about the negatives of using ADP. We barely trusted them with our payroll and would NEVER trust them to handle HR, benefits, unemployment claims, etc. If you care about your business you won't either.

We switched to a new company a couple months ago and no one from ADP ever asked what they could do to keep our business or why we were unhappy with them. They obviously don't care. Ten years ago using ADP wasn't so painful. The reps were nice and understandable and dealt with whatever issue you had in a timely manner. Today, not so much. Stay far far away from this company until they can get their crap together. You'll be better off going with a company where you have a dedicated service team handling your account.

For some reason, they translated that as "cancel the new card", so when my manager got the NEW card to me, THAT was cancelled. So now I'm left with no funds on our day of payment and have to push back my schedule further to accommodate the inconvenience. I just wish ADP would hire more personnel that spoke English at a fair level, as I think misunderstandings due to language barriers caused this issue. I would not recommend ADP at this time. There are far better payroll options out there.

Now I am learning that ADP does Debt collection without employee knowledge regardless of any authenticity. There is conflict of interest doing payroll services and debt collection under the same company by the name of ADP garnishment. This is heads up for employer and victim employees by ADP payroll services. I suggest employer to try different alternatives in order to retain employees.

Secondly, I have tried reach out to the responsible person, they are not available that is good sign for their organized business fraud. ADP does payroll for the company for which I work. Recently, my company merged with another. First paycheck later ADP paid everyone twice what they were owed which means a lot more taxes were taken out than would normally have been paid. The next week ADP paid us what I assume was the difference in taxes in addition to our regular paycheck. We were told that for the next three paychecks 1/3 of the original overpayment would be taken out. The first week went as planned, the expected 1/3 was paid back.

The second week, ADP took the remaining 2/3 back leaving me with a paycheck of less than $150 for 48 hours worked. My boss offered to give me an advance on my next paycheck. I ABSOLUTELY did not trust ADP to properly calculate repayment of any advances and declined. This week I'm trying to look at my payroll calculations and keep getting an error code at their site so I'm unable to view a breakdown of my income. Additionally, I am paid hourly and I do not appreciate unable to see the way ADP calculates my payroll, i.e. show the hours worked each day the way I have been able to with other employers/payroll companies. In conclusion, I have to say that this company is horrible at what is supposed to be its primary function- just paying people what they are owed at the proper time. I would wholeheartedly NOT RECOMMEND them to any business.

I strongly advise anyone NOT to enroll in the ADP COBRA or any health insurance program, my insurance has been terminated by them because of their system failed to take my payment, their irresponsible customer service and their cover up action afterwards. Here's the incidents: I've enrolled in their COBRA since Aug 2018, and start paying online every 2 months. My Aug-Sep payment went through, but the Oct & Nov one didn't went through and the system didn't give me any notice. No error page, no email, no warning, nothing. I somehow found that out near Nov when I want to pay the next two months. I notice that didn't went through, and I tried to pay back the Oct & Nov as well as Dec & Jan 2019, and the system say payment not available.

I then called customer services multiple times. They all said it's a system upgrade issue. They guaranteed nothing will be affected and I will be able to pay when the system comes back within a few days. I asked all of them to give me case number and they said they will email back, but none did. I continue failed to pay online, then I email them on 11/09, and they reply me back on 11/12 and all of a sudden said my account was terminated at 9/30. That wasn't reflected at the online system at all until I got that email, they just updated that day. I've been visiting Kaiser to do pregnancy checkup, and Kaiser didn't know my account was terminated even for my last checkup couple weeks ago, but they should know now and I am expecting maybe an expensive bill.

I was devastated and complained to them, and they said I can request my company to reinstate the insurance. I told my company the situation, but my company said it's my fault as I don't have any case number or proof that I've seek help before. My company also said they've got my termination from ADP as well, but that's on 11/12, basically the day they discovered their system made the mistakes, and just take action to cover up. The worst thing is I cannot enroll in my husband's medical insurance now because the change of status is over 30 days. I am 4.5 month pregnant and still figuring out how to get back my insurance, probably need to pay expensive bill for the checkup in the last 2 months, and not even sure if I can do the next checkup. Please advise if you know what I should do, or if you know there's any legal advice I should seek or whether I should take this to court. I will explore all those options.

ADP might be better for large corporations with thousand of employees, because when it comes down to fine tuned finesse a and unique problems ADP will not help you, let alone display any sort productive manner in the process. Customer Service is filled with tracks and loops that you can navigate for hours and get nowhere.

I was assured to receive one in 24 hours, but never did. In going to the ADP website seeking help I found everything saying they can not provide such information. It has been over a week and I still have not had a situation to the situation.

    Hello Ashlynn,

I was able to locate you in our databases. The type of account ADP provides to your employer does not contractually allow us to work directly with the company's employees. We'll need to communicate through our authorized contact(s), established by your company's decision maker.

I will forward your concern to my escalation contacts with your employer's ADP Service Center, but they most likely will not be able to contact you directly. We will offer our assistance to your employer, who will be responsible for communicating back to you.

    Kind regards,

We have always done payroll in house without issues. We needed a third-party payroll provider when our employees needed approval for a home loan. ADP seemed the highest recommended so we chose them. However, ADP did not register us with the state taxation department correctly. We received letter after letter about their mis-filings. When we asked for ADP to fix their errors, they forwarded me to six departments who told me to re-file it ourselves. I explained that the only reason that we hired them was so that they would handle this aspect of our business. Still, they refused to do their job. We explained that if they didn't do their job, we would cancel. In response, the employee provided the information to close our account. They continue to bill us after we canceled. A retention person got in touch and we asked her to fix these remaining issues. She ignored us. I would have loved a good payroll partner. Do any exist?

My employer uses ADP to pay us on instead of paychecks, I had been working at this company for a few months before I finally received my ADP card last week, after receiving my card I set it up immediately. I went on the website and tried to transfer the money from my ADP card to my bank account because the booklet I was given about this company said I was allowed to do that. After trying a few times the website kept saying it was unable to transfer money at this time so I figured just the website wasn't working. I decided to go to one of the ATMs that the website says I can go to, to get money off the card. That ATM said my card doesn't work and so did the two other ATMs I went to afterwards.

I called the support number and they informed me that my account was on security review. I asked why and they informed me that "nobody knows". They said I would be taken off security review the next day as long as I email them a copy of my social security card and my ID. I did as soon as I got off the phone and a few days later I went to try and transfer the money on the website again. However I got the same message at before so I tried an ATM again. The same thing happened there so I called the support number again. They told me absolutely nothing was wrong with my account or my card. I asked why I'm still not able to access my money, and they responded "Try going to the bank, I don't know." I still haven't been able to access any of the money I earned.

I requested to have the card with a chip inside in March because I was told it helps with lower theft, the company charged me for it but I never got it. I said fine and considered the card a wash and stupidly I thought they refunded me my money. Fast forward 2 days ago, recently someone stole my card info and I requested another card and told the rep I wanted the chip but they charged me again. I asked them why were they charging me again. They said “Oh because it says on our end it was issued.”

To be perfectly honest I don’t give two cents what it said on the rep’s computer. If it was actually sent common sense would tell you that when I canceled the card recently due to fraud that it would be linked to that replacement card & not the original. Who the heck orders a replacement card for $10 and doesn’t activate it? Either way ADO for their money & to be perfectly honest I bet they won’t even send it this time either. Just seems like money grubbing snakes in the grass.

I wanted to go over all recent charges but they would only go over a couple and told me to call back if I saw anything else to dispute the charges. They said they would do an internal investigation and get back to about that within 10 business days. Then they tried to charge me for the card replacement. Then they wanted me to go over all the recent transactions from my account online which I do not have access to. I told the now supervisor that I cannot see transactions to go over because my login was compromised. She then asked me to tell her what transactions that I saw that were fraud. I about just my mind.

This is not acceptable at all. I should be able to call, have the associate advise me of the charges and I will advise if they are fraud or valid. Then I should have my account password reset for me so I can log in to view MY MONEY. Plus the card should be replaced overnight at no expense to myself. They handled this so poorly no wonder why someone was able to get into my account. These people are genuinely not for you as the consumer at all.

They have been billing me for three months when they shouldn’t be and now they claim that I am not an authorized user on the businesses that I own 100% of. Seems a little ridiculous to me. I was working in a company that uses ADP payroll for checks. I stopped working for that company back in February. Again I started working for the same company last month, but when I was trying to login to my ADP account today, there was a message my password is considered "temporary password" and I must click "forgot password" to change it. When I tried to change the password I got a message that I need a security code that ADP will send me. Then I was prompted to chose either my old phone number for a texted code or my old email address for an emailed code. But the phone number and the email address were changed 3 years ago. I called ADP customer service to talk to an operator. But it was only a recorded message saying you either need to click on forgot password or call your employer. I called my employer they told me they have no way of changing my password.

I have worked in places that use other payroll apps. They are much easier to use. When you click on their apps your paycheck is right there. WHEN YOU CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ARE AVAILABLE 24/7. ADP basically is an invisible company that you can't even talk to a live person. Just a handful of people but the computers use all the work. Never a live person available to even chat with. They only think about increasing profit with less employees.

ADP took out the wrong amount for me in taxes. I clearly stated this information twice both written on paper with my W-4 as well as in their system this was stated. Day 1, speak to a representative that admitted that he sees my information and I’m right. It was correct but couldn’t tell me why it was wrong and what happened. I requested this money back to be told that it had to come from our HR to void the check and reissue a new one. After going in circles about this issue my HR contacted ADP to do just that who stated to her to relay to me that I could cash the check instead and a new one would be issued for the difference. Sounds accurate and easy right??? WRONG! It’s been almost a week later and neither ADP nor my HR representative know where this check is and if it was a live check or direct deposit!

I am frustrated beyond belief because I’ve gone through numerous people at ASP and everyone seems clueless. Apparently they issue checks but don’t always do the company’s payroll and I can’t understand for the life of me why my HR representative gave me their contact information! The number that I called maybe helpful with benefits but definitely not payroll. Payroll has a completely different number and these people will not talk to the employees about THEIR money but they will talk to HR about your money! This is the dumbest policy ever because who better to inquire about your money than you?! I am very disappointed in ADP and upset about this ongoing issue and I can’t get any help rectifying the situation.

A number of my employers over the years have used ADP and I've always had a good experience until recently. It started out simply enough - I needed to get my son added to my insurance plan, since he was losing coverage under my wife's plan. We knew this was going to happen several months in advance, so we'd been calling and discussing it with ADP to make sure that everything went seamlessly.

At several points, I explicitly asked them if I would be able to get my son coverage starting September 1st, since we needed to not have a gap in his coverage (he was born 3 months premature and has lots of medical bills), and was always assured that that wouldn't be a problem. I had a change in status event myself in August, and specifically asked them then to confirm that my son would be able to be added to the plan on September 1, because if not, I would just add him in July when I was already making changes to my own coverage. Again, I was assured that this would not be a problem.

Imagine my surprise when I called halfway through September to verify his insurance information for a doctor's appointment he was supposed to have the next day, and was instead informed that his coverage wouldn't start until October 1st. ADP has a policy that coverage always starts on the first day of the month after the supporting documentation is received for a change in status event. However, when their employees were assuring me that it would be no problem to have his coverage start September 1, not one of them thought to mention this fact.

I searched around, and found that the policy is not actually publicized anywhere except on ADP's change in status form itself, which you don't receive until after you call in to ADP requesting a change in status. Furthermore, we didn't receive the documentation proving my son had lost coverage until halfway through September, so it was literally impossible for us to provide this documentation any sooner to ADP.

Upon calling ADP about this issue, I was told that in light of the fact that ADP's employees had told me my coverage would start September 1, and in light of the numerous extenuating circumstances (not to mention the great need - our son has a lot of medical bills), I could request an exception to the policy. I did so, and less than a day later received an emailed response from ADP's benefits department (addressed to Sandra, not Andrew, and not signed by the employee who sent it) informing me that my request had been denied because it went against ADP's policies. I found this odd, as the entire point of my request was that I wanted an exception to ADP's policies, which I had been told I could get, so of course it went against the policy. No details were given as to why the request was denied, none of my concerns or points were addressed, and it honestly seemed as though the employee who addressed my case had not even read it.

I immediately replied to the email asking for clarification on their reasoning and re-iterating my concerns and reasons for requesting an exception. It has been more than one month and I still have not received a reply to that email. I have emailed multiple times, and not received any response. I have called customer service on several occasions, and each time, the customer service representative tried to tell me all the reasons that I didn't qualify for or didn't need an exception. Each time I had to talk to them for nearly an hour before they would tell me that they couldn't do anything, and they would have to forward my request to the benefits team. Then I wouldn't hear anything back from the benefits team.

Yesterday, I finally got a good customer service rep (great job Mary!). She listened to me, she quickly understood what the problem was, and she assured me that she would get in touch with the benefits team to find out what was going on, she would have them call me within 3 business days to actually talk to me about the issue so that they could either explain to me why my request was impossible, or so that I could explain to them why it was so urgent. And she also told me that if the benefits team had not contacted me within 3 days, she personally would look into my case again to check its status and then call me, to inform me what was going on. This was the single good customer service experience in this whole fiasco.

Less than 24 hours after Mary's efforts, I received another email (not a call, as Mary had promised me she would request, and I have no doubt that she did) from the benefits department (again unsigned by the employee) telling me that my request went against their policy and couldn't be granted "for compliance reasons". They still did not address any of my concerns, and they still did not actually give me any reason to believe that they had even read my request, let alone actually considered granting me an exception to their policy.

I have been trying to get this issue resolved for more than a month now. All I'm asking is for ADP to either honor the assurances their employees gave me that I would be able to have my son covered as of September 1st, or for them to at least give me a valid, well-reasoned explanation as to why it is either illegal or impossible for them to provide an exception to the policy, as they had previously stated they would be able to do.

Either way, this has been a customer service nightmare, and has ended up costing both me and my company considerable time and resources. ADP needs to make it right, and have shown no inclination to do so. Meanwhile, my son's medical bills from last month are starting to pile up, and ADP continues to either ignore me or to respond with completely unsatisfactory emails that tell me absolutely nothing, and make me believe that they haven't even reviewed my case.

Their payroll software has been great for me and my company, and I've used them for a long time now with no difficulties whatsoever. They're a great company when things go smoothly. But when there are problems, they'll drop you and refuse to provide you with the support that you need. If you're considering using any of their products, consider finding a local provider instead, who can actually give you good customer service and will actually care about you and your company. I wish that my company had done that instead of going with ADP.

I have been actively pursuing reimbursement for a judgment I have been awarded for about six months now. Every time I find a new employer for the payor I file a garnishment. When I could finally understand the message that was left on my voicemail I figured out it was ADP garnishment services calling. When I attempted to call back however the number provided did not work!!! The ADP employee spoke so quickly and had such a thick foreign accent I only understood about half of what the voicemail said.

I searched for and found another number for ADP Wage Garnishment Services on the Internet but when I called in and explained I was the payee returning a call they refused to give me any information. I really wanted to handle this without the assistance of a lawyer as that is so expensive but ADP refuses to work with me or even tell me who called because I don’t know the payors social security number. I guess I missed my one chance to talk to someone at ADP as the number the person provided doesn’t even work. It’s so frustrating as payees are not able to get any information which makes me think that ADP just wants to keep the money they are collecting instead of disbursing it appropriately. I guess an attorney will have to get involved to compel them to release the money that belongs to me!

Today my card was hacked and my entire paycheck $1100 wiped out. This is the second time in a year this has happened. Both times funds were withdrawn in Florida within an hour of me using the card in Washington State where I live. This apparently raises no flags. The thieves somehow were able to change my pin, so I could not verify it with the automated customer service. It would not even let me get through to a representative to report the card stolen since I could not tell them the new pin though the website says that is the number to report a stolen card.

Finally just shouted stolen card seven times and got through. Was then told dispute takes up to 90 business days, and they will send me a form in the mail. I live paycheck to paycheck. Have rent, bills, groceries that need to be paid. Customer service was awful. The operator gave conflicting info, talked in circles, and could not answer any questions on why this has happened. Also no sympathy or reassurances that they would refund money.

    Matthew,

I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing challenges accessing your pay info. You were actually instructed correctly to contact your employer's Human Resources or Payroll contact for assistance, as ADP is generally not permitted to work with employees of our clients directly. Even if the problem is technical in nature, your payroll department should be able to help. If not, they have the authority to contact ADP for assistance.

As a courtesy to you, I can reach out to your employer's ADP Service team and ask them to connect with our authorized contact there to offer our assistance. We will also request that they circle back to you with update.

If you could kindly, via PRIVATE response, confirm the company legal name and/or ADP account # for me, I can get right to work on this for you.

I get paid every two weeks. I am a single mom. I had one bill. A small one to pay. Then I planned a mother daughter's day, her hair, nails, a little shopping, cake, dinner, she didn't want a party, then she could hang out with her friends. Didn't happen. I took the day off work. Wasted my PTO. You can see she's disappointed but she's trying hard to pretend she's not. The day's almost over, it will never be her 16th birthday again. Now they say 3-5 more days. Today is Tuesday and they don't count weekends so it's really 5-7 more days which is next week. I'm done with ADP!

My employer decided to change from in-house handled HR to the services of ADP. I have worked for other employers who used them and they were always great! The keyword in that sentence is WERE. So during the election of benefits, a rep from ADP came out and did a slideshow, pretty standard stuff really, about benefit info. She then left and we were to fill out benefit elections electronically on our own. I am a single mom with 2 boys and we are on our state Medicaid program, which my income level definitely qualifies me for. I must also note that I have received Medicaid since 2016. I received no other help from any person or agency. I elected a life insurance policy for the deduction of a few bucks per paycheck. I also thought that I signed up for just an HSA that my employer contributed money to. Done deal. Forgot about that stuff because it just accrues anyway!

Flash forward 4 months and it's October. I come down with severe Bronchitis. Miss 2 days of work in 2 weeks. I'm actually still sick right now! 2 trips to the E.D. and a trip to my primary care doctor. On the second trip to the E.D. this past Saturday, I was given 5 different prescriptions. Upon trying to fill them Sunday afternoon I was told my Medicaid wouldn't pay a thing because I have other health coverage. I couldn't figure out what was happening until Monday at work when I started making phone calls to my Medicaid carrier and talking to HR. Upon calling ADP, they informed me that I had elected an HSA insurance plan with a $2700 deductible! I immediately admitted my mistake and made HR aware of this also. I never realized that I had the coverage because the contributions are paid by my employer. So there was no deductions coming out of check!

I never received an insurance card from UHC or ADP and I also never attempted to use said insurance. I just received a policy number on Monday! Via phone call! It's written on a sticky note! So here I sit with no medicine, because Medicaid won't pay because of other coverage. And the medicines total just around $600! With the plan that I "chose" I would pay up to that 2700 out of my pocket. And let's be honest, I make 12 bucks an hour, I don't have even close to that amount of money available, ever. Why would I even do such an asinine thing when most of my health care is paid for completely by Medicaid?!

I have been on the phone for 3 days with ADP trying to explain that I made a mistake and get this resolved. I never received a call from anyone like I was told I would. I found out through calls made by me to them that my claim to drop coverage was rejected because of the amount of time that had passed! Even though I was unaware that I had the coverage at all! However tonight I contacted and asked to speak to a supervisor, Laura, that was supposed to call me today per my request, and I had to call at 7:30 in the evening because not one single person from ADP returned my call. Anyhow, Laura informed me that my request was rejected based on the amount of time that had passed and on the basis that I have received and an email with a benefit conformation video? I don't have that!

It's beyond frustrating. She also proceeded to tell me that I admitted the mistake and it was my fault! And she repeated that to me about 5 times. All the while I still need these meds. Antibiotics, steroids and 2 different inhalers. And pretty much am screwed because of an ERROR. A mistake. I just really feel like if this was such a big deal like it's turning out to be for me, maybe you all should have a rep come to sign people up for insurance. We all aren't geniuses. We are just human. We make mistakes! It was an honest one! And your company proceeded to make me feel like I was a liar! And still haven't answered me as to why I have never received any insurance info from UHC. I am so upset over this! I can't stop crying. In debt to a hospital E.D. and my family doc because of this! And still sick with Bronchitis to boot! Thanks y'all! Stand up service!

I called ADP a week ago about a transaction from an unknown merchant that charged my card. I have no business with them and they were from out of state. They sent documents in the mail that I sent back via email. I called to check and see if they received it, they did. Even asked if there was anything else I could possibly send to report my claim and I was told “no”. Here it is a new week, I called about the claim, only for them to tell me it was denied because there wasn’t enough information. I’m pissed. How in the hell am I supposed to prove I have NO ties with a merchant that I have as to NO CLUE who they are?

I’ve spoken with the merchant and they aren’t cooperating. I have my attorney involved. Either way, somebody is going to give me my money. I was rudely hung up on when asked to speak to a supervisor after holding for 10 minutes. Called back a second time, stayed on hold 10 more minutes and had to be a tape recorder. There’s no professionalism whatsoever. I honestly think they don’t even investigate. This is the SECOND time I have not been able to get my money back. Once everything is settled, I am done with them. Period. I wouldn’t recommend ADP to anybody. My son and I were stranded and per usual, they were no help.

Updated on 10/15/2018: These people have let a company I don’t know anything about TAKE my money. I had already called in about the UNAUTHORIZED transaction and got denied so quickly it’s not even funny. Which also means, no investigation was EVER done. If one had been done, they would know no previous payments had been made to this merchant ever. Not even with another account/card. I’ve been at war with the merchant too. Customer service there isn’t so great either. Back to ADP/MoneyNetwork, most of them are some of the most crooked people ever. I’ve read reviews on others sites and they really do get a kick out of letting people take your money and they keep it.

I was lied to about additional paperwork being sent/mailed to me on the 5th of this month. Today is the 15th and I have yet to receive that paperwork in the mail. I AM NOT WAITING another day/second to fill out a ** form that only requires my signature, to get money back that was STOLEN from me!!! Today was the LAST time I called, advised call was being recorded and had my attorney listen in on the call. I will be proceeding with further action today. The whole network needs to be shut down immediately and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure something is done about these people. It’s good when you know people.

Never have I ever been so pissed. Then over half of the cs reps can’t even speak ENGLISH properly. The one person that was nice to me was Brian **. That man needs a raise and ASAP. He tried to help but things were out of his hands. It’s the way he handled everything. Very professional and on point. I thank him for his help but I’m tired of the back and forth. I don’t need anyone replying to my review or trying to call me. It’s obvious you all are thieves and don’t care about customers. All I wanted was my money back but I can’t get it so now we have to do it the hard way. I wouldn’t recommend this piece of ** company to anybody. I’ll be sure to let my job know to drop their contract. My input does matter. :) Have a good day.

We were trying to switch work comp insurer. Our request for the policy cancellation was denied by ADP rep in March due to no proof of active coverage, and we could not get a new coverage because new provider was requiring a cancellation proof from current insurer. Since we were given a runaround we decided to keep coverage with ADP. We notified ADP rep about it and kept paying the work comp installments. When we noticed we were not charged for the Work Comp in the beginning of May we contacted ADP and were assured that our policy was in a good standing. We have not been notified about the cancellation by any means. We learned about it from NV department of business and industry notice. First they admitted that the request was processed erroneously but when they were not able to reinstate our coverage they backed up.

When filed a complaint with NV Dept. of Insurance ADP used the cancellation request that they had denied as an excuse. We are now facing fines for gap in coverage. ADP is not willing to take responsibility for erroneously processed cancellation request. Use their services with caution and always ask for written confirmation for any changes/denials.

ADP made a HUGE mistake withholding more than $700 from my pay weeks after a garnishment modification was received by their offices. ADP admitted to being at fault and a resolution was offered by a supervisor over two weeks ago due to the extreme hardship it created for my family. We are now 1 mo into this process and I still have not been reimbursed. The escalation supervisor who accepted my call yesterday was short in tone, discourteous in her demeanor and disconnected the call prior to asking if I had further questions/concerns. I believe this entire matter was mismanaged and ADP failed me as a consumer.

Folks work hard for their money and there appears to be a huge opportunity for improvement in this department from an inter-departmental communication standpoint as well as in execution and process flow. The supervisor who took my call yesterday advised that she was “not even sure that the write off department will approve” the resolution. That comment added insult to injury by suggesting that the resolution OFFERED BY ADP was somehow still in limbo nearly 2 weeks after their error and a month after the modification order was received by their offices. I am extremely distraught, deeply disappointed and have suffered immensely from their error. I will be reaching out to legal counsel to advise on the matter as I now have little confidence in their ability to resolve the issue.

I am an international student who was working with a small company in Denver. I am exempt of the federal taxes and the Medicare. I updated my documents to the company but the taxes were cut from my first paycheck. When I contacted ADP, I was informed that they will send me a check for the tax amount that was cut from my previous pay. Unfortunately, I moved to a new apartment in Denver and I lost my job. I am trying to contact them to send me a new check to the new address. Please help me connect with a representative so that I can get my check.

When I called to correct this, they inform me that I can cancel it next year in June after they rob me of another 300 dollars. Don’t choose ADP. Thieves.

One star is too much for this company, I would rated MINUS 10 stars!! For years I used ADP for my monthly payroll. They kept calling me offering "affordable workers Comp." They sent me a very reasonable quote "pay as you go" of $271 PER YEAR. So I canceled my previous policy and signed with ADP. What a mistake!!! They started charging me $75 weekly!!! For account "maintenance", as I mentioned, I was doing Monthly payroll for years! I was forced to close my payroll account and insurance in order to stop the bleeding. NOW THEY STILL TRYING TO CHARGE ME $75 even though the account has been closed for over a month!!! There is no way to stop this people!!! The good thing is that I ended getting a much more affordable company for my payroll. Gusto online is awesome!! Great customer service and very easy to use.

My child’s father's job participates with ADP, does direct deposit and things of that nature. He recently had to cancel his ADP card because he thought it was stolen. He recently got paid this past Thursday but cancelled the card on SUNDAY the week prior. He was told it takes 3 days for the card to be completely canceled... it’s currently still in pending closure status. His money is just sitting there and has absolutely no way to access it! We have bills to pay and cannot because we have no solution to this problem. They said that they would send him a check in 7 business days but no check. WHY can he be expedited a new replacement card so he can immediately access his funds? He has been told by several reps there’s nothing they can do but send a check but they don’t really know when he’s get it. They all GUESS it will be to him in 7 business days. This company is a whole wreck. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with them.

I was suggested to switch to ADP for doing my business taxes by my bank and my whole experience was just horrible! I am not the type of person who writes bad reviews at all, I try to either give a nice feedback, or if something was not good just say nothing... Because I understand we all make mistakes... But this was SO HORRIBLE!!! IT WAS MY WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT USE ADP FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I signed up with them to do my quarter taxes and their stuff is super unprofessional!!! How it works is there is an implementation or whatever is called department who creates platform where simply saying you are paying yourself taxes and calculating them. There is an implementation agent for each business who supposed to guide you through and assist if any difficulties. Mine's name was Eric **. The problem was since the first day on the phone... I told him on the phone, that I want just to pay taxes for this quarter from salary I took from my business (pay from 800$) and I do not want direct deposit, but on the next day this amount was missing from my bank account and on personal account I received money as salary from unknown place... I called the customer service because my representative was never available to me. They said the funds were received by mistake and they will transfer them back to that unknown to my company.

After that I never received my money they took from my business account (7th day) and they had to search for them and it took like a week to find them and place them back... Then I received a couple of emails from them with other women name (other business owner?) coming on my email, but referring to me about my business... Then they did not warn me about extra tax charges that supposed to be taken from my account and were doing their charges whenever they wanted!!! No control and I could not stop them! Also the rate they promised and what they charged was higher... So they said they will file the second quarter business taxes for me, but they gave me filling docs saying they did, but in the end it turned out THEY PAID %30 TAXES FROM WHOLE AMOUNT but they supposed to take care of all second quarter because I paid them for service and clearly stated that.

They said that everything is taken care of and nothing to worry about (and I paid them for their service). I didn't know about that something is wrong and those problems until I received letters from IRS saying that taxes are not paid fully which gave me shock because none of the ADP workers told me anything about that! It was so horrible, that I don't suggest anyone to work with this company. They will charge money for their service, but they let you hanging and if there is a problem (that they create themself) nobody is even going to assist you.

My client started receiving below par service when he added a second location. Employees were erroneously deleted, hourly rates and hours were wrong. Client attempted to reach someone at ADP to correct and find out what happened. The only answers he got were we don't know what happened and we don't know how to correct it. I thought he was misunderstanding the process until I just had my own first hand experience. He finally closed his account and moved on to another company and the got a termination notice for his worker comp insurance. ADP was the broker of record and handled every detail for the client from day one.

When he closed the account he was told the accountant (me) had 30 days to view any reports, etc. I tried to log in 10 days later and was locked out. His regional rep said I should try "terminated" clients, which of course I had already done. That was the end of her assistance. When I tried to have her fix the insurance issue, she said she had no idea there were any problems even though the client's employee had spoken with her on several occasions. Her reply to me was I really wish I could help you but since he's no longer a client, I can't. No one was able to tell me why I was locked out or to have my login reinstated. Poor client service. I will try to convince my other clients to go elsewhere after this.

ADP was sent an order to stop wage garnishment for child support due to my child turning 19. 2 weeks later my check is still being garnished. After calling one day and being told they never received the order I called the next day and was told they received it and it had been processed and that I have not had child support deducted from my check since July 24th. I told her I'm looking at my last 2 pay stubs and it had. After arguing with her for about 5 minutes I finally called my employer and they contacted ADP and told me that ADP was investigating the matter. I could barely understand the lady on the line from ADP. Horrible accountability and customer service. STOP GARNISHING MY WAGES. YOU HAVE THE COURT ORDER.

Aline card: Horrible company! They take money out of your account and say they will mail you a check and they never do. They took out $1,500 from my account and is saying they mailed the check. It has been a month now yet no check. They cannot explain why not. They have stolen my money and somehow they don't get in trouble for it. If anybody else steals your money they get in trouble, who in the world holds them accountable? They took my $1,500 out of my account a month ago and I have no way to get it back other than to call them and get told that it has been mailed which is a lie. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with or even ever heard about. I disagree with the one star that I have to put on here.

UPS occasionally lets both ADP and its clients down by not making "on-time" deliveries. Also, on occasion, the wait time is totally unreasonable and the offer of a callback for your place in line doesn't work in my business. I am not available at the back and call of ADP to interrupt conferences with clients, phone calls, or court appearances just to accommodate an ADP callback. Otherwise, my experience with ADP, once I get to a representative has been very positive.

From the Month of June first week I was not able to see any of my pay stubs in ADP portal and the July pay stub started generating freshly after the issue got reported to ADP through my HR team. So the Year To Date Earning component got reset Zero and started calculating from Month of July which is lesser than the previous month. So whatever new pay stubs are getting generated are useless for me as it has incorrect information on Year to date earnings field.

Due to this I am not able to apply for any loan or Credit card and even not able to send my wife for her Visa stamping. When I raised a concern with my employer they are saying we are following up with ADP and the issue it's related to State of Georgia and they don't know how long the state will take to respond. I reported the issue almost 2 months back (in June 1st Week). I am wondering how already generated pay stubs were missing from my ADP DashBoard only for current employer (Previous employers pay stubs are present in ADP) and why ADP taking months of time to restore them. Some help over here to resolve the issue is much appreciated.

I have been trying to get a garnishment order figured out for two weeks now. I have called over 15 times, that is at least once a day, trying to figure out why ADP has taken almost 2000 dollars from my check but has not sent the funds to the ones garnishing me. The people garnishing me are accruing interest since April, and because ADP has not sent any of the 2000 dollars to them, the garnishment amount has increased almost 500 dollars. The garnishment accrues interest on the judgment amount, and since the judgment amount has not decreased due to not delivering the payments, I will have to pay that amount. I have been trying to get ADP to release the funds, and I have been getting the runaround for two weeks.

When I first called, I had to have someone call me back to confirm that the garnishment was coming from a particular person. I received the return call, and they confirmed who the garnishment was for, and the amount of the judgment and they said the reason they had not sent the money to them was that they did not have an order. Well, that is odd... Don't you need an order before you can start garnishing someone? So, if that is the case, I went ahead and called the attorney. They said they have confirmation faxes that were sent twice to confirm they received the garnishment order. The attorney then said, "You know what I will call ADP and talk to them and figure this out."

So he did, and he was told that ADP does not handle garnishment, that the employer handles garnishments. Excuse me? Did I not just hear from someone, who works for ADP, who confirmed all the garnishment information? Yes, I did, so not sure what that person is referring too. Then this person gave the attorney a phone number to call, stating that was the employer. Well, come to find out that number was actually for ADP themselves. So, I called ADP again. This time I explained that the attorney called and was told ADP does not handle garnishments, the employee of ADP said that was odd because they do handle the garnishments and they were unsure why another employee would say that.

So this employee then confirmed again the amount taken, and for who and could see I had called 13 times by then. I explained this was complete and utter disarray and that because of their error it costs me almost 500 extra dollars. She said she noted all that down, and they would send this to the garnishment management team, and someone would get back to me, again. So, I let the attorney know all that she said; then the attorney said that he would contact them again. He called them today 8/7/2018 and was told that the garnishment was not even for his office!!! Excuse me? I have already confirmed that the garnishment is for his office, so why is he being told different???

I do not have any other garnishments that it could be for. Why can't ADP release the money to them? I am being charged extra money for ADP's mistake, I am being lied to, the attorney is being lied to, we are getting the runaround here. Either give the money to the attorney or give me the money back and I will pay the attorney myself. I am trying to offer a settlement for this garnishment, and I can't even do that because ADP is holding onto this money. I have never in my life dealt with such an unorganized company, and this is a payroll company, you would think of all companies to be organized this would be the one with the most organization and least amount of errors. I mean you are dealing with people's hard-earned money!

Now, finally one rep says it can take up to 30 days. That means I will have now have paid at least 2 payments more, who knows by the end maybe 3 or 4 payments more than I should have. I have overpaid and have to try to recoup my money. Looks like I'll be going back to court!!! Thanks ADP.

You would think with today's technology things would get easier not harder!!! Used to be, before ADP, I could go down to our in-house payroll department, hand them the court modification paperwork and everything would be taken care of on the next check. Now because of ADP, I have to fax them the modification, call to verify they received it, and I guess keep calling to see if the process has been completed. Going to ADP is probably great for the employer, not so good for employee. Gave them 2 stars instead 1 because the phone reps were always very courteous and tried to be as helpful as possible. Sales team presented a picture of what our world would look like with ADP and it wasn't close. Too many people, too many departments that do not communicate with each other. In one department alone, there are 6 different people that the business owner is responsible for making sure that they are all on the same page. A lot of extra work. There is not one person who provides coordination of care. The attempt was made to escalate issues to improve communication and efficiency to no avail. Payroll alone is a lot more work than we've previously experienced. It is all manual. The only thing that ADP does is cut the check. Very disappointing.

ADP took 22 days to process the state request creating overpayment to a case of child support that closed. Now because of ADP I have overpaid and have to try to recoup my money. Thanks ADP FOR MAKING THINGS WORSE AND CREATING NOW ANOTHER LEGAL ISSUE.

I was able to access my ADP Aline Card money after my payday, when I was unaware of the fact that I had previously set up the account apparently. When I went to check my balance on mycard.adp.com it required a username and password. I realized then that I do not have a username and password, and if I did I was unaware of receiving it during the process of setting up my account which I hadn't done to my understanding. I then called ADP helpline and their only advice was to try the "forgot username" or "need username" buttons.

Afterward, I then tried the "need username" button and tried to set up a username like I needed to and after all my information was complete, it said that the information was incorrect even though it is my personal information. I have no clue how to access my ADP account online in order to check my balance and my transactions because I do not have an account. I don't have a PIN number either. I did not set these up and yet I can spend my money. I just want the account and some help other than the incompetent automated messages.

I registered my account with ADP to access my Paystubs and Tax forms. The registration was done. However, unfortunately, I skipped the screen where they provide the username, assuming that it will be mailed to me as I had provided the mail ID during registration. This is one of the worst services I have encountered in my life. If there was -ve star I would have given that. If you guys don't work until 8 pm then don't say it in the answering machine. On June 25 I made a call to customer service in regards to my being able to put money into my account via other sources. I was told I was able to do so if I upgraded my account. After agreeing I was then told it would take 2-3 days for the account to be upgraded. Come the 5th of July my account was put on hold. I called to ask why and I was informed that it was because they needed verification of identity to lift the hold. I send in verification via a email given to me but it was insufficient. I sent the final sufficient document on July 11 and it was finally put into review on the 17th.

I was told on that day that the hold would be lifted in 2-3 days. It is now the 20th and I was just informed that there is now no definite time until my account is off hold. I’m facing penalties on my bills and have not eaten a proper meal in two weeks. All of this because I wasn’t informed of the circumstances regarding my upgraded account. If I knew this would have I happened I wouldn’t have bothered.

I've been dealing with ADP Wage Garnishment service for a few years now and have had nothing but problems from my first call. I recently called ADP (800) 305-2735 the number on my check that says to call if I have any questions, the same number I've called at least 10 times with mixed results. My call was to have all the necessary paperwork sent to me to enroll in direct deposit (ADP can't send this via email, only fax). Received and filled out all the paperwork included Voided check and bank letter. I called the same number a week later making sure everything was sent correctly and in order, the person put me on hold for a few minutes and said, "Yes I see the direct deposit department received your paperwork and should go into effect the next pay period." (Very nice phone call).

Then the next week I got a message from Betty that said she was in the direct deposit department and when my forms were sent to me a ADP rep incorrectly filled in an item and that I would have to resubmit my forms, Betty left no last name but did leave a number (866) 324-5191 that I called but No one knew what I was talking about, I was transferred to three different departments explaining the issue, giving case #, SS#, and name each time, even asked to speak with a manager. after being left on hold for 15 min I hung up. Frustrated I called ADP (800) 305-2735 again and this time the person was able to help me, she even saw in the notes where Betty called me, she assured me Betty would get the message I called and Betty would be calling me back that same day.

Well that was last Thursday. Today is Monday and no call, So I called ADP this afternoon (800) 305-2735. After explaining everything I was placed on hold for 10 min then transferred to the 401 employee department who transferred me to a department that said, "Why were you transferred here?" Called (800) 305-2735 again and after giving all my information and explaining why I was calling I was told the information gave wasn't in the system, I explained that I called this number many times in the past, I was told sorry but there's nothing regarding that info, same answer after asking her to recheck. Unbelievable!! If anybody has a better number or someone that actually cares at ADP please let me know.

I recently contacted ADP customer service via phone to assist with an incorrect transfer from Aline ADP card to a bank account not in my name on July 10, 2018 (I called the following number: 877-237-4321.). The transfer was processed July 8, 2018. When I called the customer service line, I was told via phone from one of the customer service personnel that the issue would be resolved. I have not received any confirmation on the matter (I.e, email or confirmation number) that notes the matter will be dealt with as soon as possible. I contacted my bank, Skyone FCU, to inform them of my issue and they stated that there is no account existing with the incorrect account numbers I input on via the ADP prepaid card website (visaprepaidprocsssing.com) in return my funds should have been reversed back to my Aline ADP card.

This transfer was made in error and I did not authorize for my funds to be sent to the incorrect bank account. I informed ADP customer service I want a reversal of my funds back on to my ADP card but I would keep getting put on hold via phone, transferred around back and forth to different representatives but no solution for problem. I wanted the matter resolved soon because this is money from my Aline ADP card that is vital to me. Please have customer service reps be more diligent about assisting with transactions or transfer disputes by customers and faster processing of prepaid card related issues.

I don't normally write reviews, however if I can caution any small business owners, please do not switch to ADP for your payroll processing. ADP didn't input my filings in their system correctly and in turn has taken 20+ hours of my time. The account rep who sets you up who over promised and under delivered will not return a call or email to find the best point of contact when they mess up and not file your quarterly tax filing. Of the multiple calls that I've made to ADP for resolution, I'm routinely routed 4 or more times to someone that tells me it will be handled right away and that I will get a phone call to confirm the tax return was sent.

The most recent phone call I was told I had no payroll so my filing was $0... Are you kidding me? Can't they see I've run payroll every 2 weeks since January?!? Now the tax return has been sent after 2 months, however ADP didn't send payment. I'm now sitting on hold as I write for yet another phone call to a supervisor that states they can't help me with this until tomorrow, in which I highly doubt that a resolution will happen. Please do NOT switch to ADP!

After jumping through a few hoops, ADP was kind enough to send my check with expedited shipping and it arrived 2 days after. However, I still think that its unacceptable to blame me for not calling to get updates on my check. The only reason why my case was escalated so quickly was because I had to send a DM through Twitter and it actually got resolved. ADP's phone service is not a very good help because the operators have a hard time understanding your problem.

I received a refund to my account due to a concert getting cancelled. However my account was closed previously. So when the money finally hit my ADP account I called and asked if I can re-open my account or maybe wire transfer my money to my new bank account (ADP has my direct deposit information BTW). However I was told that I cannot do either and that a check will have to be issued. The lady told me that my check would take 7-10 business days to send to my house and I confirmed everything. I even had her count the days as well and June 22, 2018 was the exact date. Well I waited until that day and I checked my mail and NOTHING.

So I called them again and was told that the check I received today was for when I closed my account (??). Okay so then I was told that they had to initiate a refund and escalate it and that it will take another 6-8 business days for me to receive a check; then they had the audacity to tell me that it was MY FAULT that I didn't receive any updates or anything about my check because "they didn't hear from me since the first time I called," like it's not like I wasn't told to call or anything. NEVER give your money to ADP because they will hold onto it FOREVER and make you jump through a million hoops just to get the money that they OWE you. As soon as I stop working with the company that uses ADP I will NEVER use ADP and I will advise everyone to STAY AWAY.

I save my passwords and usernames in my keychain on my home computer and never have a problem with any other site except ADP. My country is America. I consistently get the message "Login Failed. Invalid username or password." It is clearly the correct ID and password, the computer doesn't forget and at other times, although rarely, I can access with that username and password.

This has been the case since I set up the account. We have been using ADP since January 2018 through my workplace and rarely am I ever able to access my information. I need to check this information on at least a weekly basis to check my hours and vacation time for accuracy. The call in number is of no assistance as it just takes you through the steps that are on the computer and human resources says use the website as they can do nothing to assist.

Most people likely don't complain for fear of retribution from their workplace or human resources department. I have a difficult time believing that they generally get a four star rating. Perhaps they select the reviews that are positive and count only those. Everyone I know has a problem with the ADP system and would like to revert to our company administered site as it was always easy to access and resolve any issues.

I was contacted by Nahda from the ADP Customer Relationship department and I am pleasantly surprised that they actually hired someone right for the job. She was helpful and eager to resolve the situation, and although I believed it was against all odds, she was able to begin reconstructing what I thought was a completely burned bridge with ADP. This seems like a promising interaction, and I hope it only goes uphill from here.

I am still a little perturbed that our company had to go through a series of disappointments and deeply upsetting interactions before they were able to have us be contacted by the right person and make us feel like a valued customer. Moreover, the NSF/AR Department still absolutely needs to be improved in terms of customer service. We only had one NSF issue in our long lifetime with ADP and it was bad enough for us to want to cut ties with them completely. So I really do hope ADP gets the message and realizes that every interaction with any of their departments is ALL part of the full customer experience. Regardless if they’re just AR specialists or technical staff, they’re all part of the company image that is projected onto the customer.

In any case, like I said earlier, I am pleasantly surprised that Nahda was able to turn a very negative experience into a not-so-bad one, which is actually quite a feat in my opinion. I’m just a little wary to give a higher star resolution review at this time since it’s just been day 1 of the positive turnaround.

Fortunately, it turns out there is a modern alternative to their Internet-Explorer-only payroll software (thank goodness), so my fingers are crossed.

Thank you to those of the ADP staff with whom I am now interacting that are making the respectable effort to “turn our frown upside down.” A little kindness truly goes a long way.

    Original Review: June 11, 2018

Maybe ADP USA services are better but I certainly can’t say anything good about ADP Canada. Our company had been using their services for years but they’ve just become so outdated now. Their websites and user portals are incredibly archaic and some still require ONLY Internet Explorer. (God help us.) Their account managers are horribly undertrained and uncoordinated. We constantly received emails from different employees asking the same questions!

ADP is highly inaccessible in terms of customer support. You can only really call in during their limited Eastern time zone hours. So of course you’re going to have to suffer the long wait time. There is no reliable email, or alternative online help. Our most recent experience was the breaking point and we just had to terminate their services altogether. We had an unusual issue regarding the transfer of funds, but—sparing the details—the main problem was the absolutely horrendous communication skills of an ADP staff member.

She was unhelpful and often responded rudely, with zero regard for the value of retaining a customer. A little kindness goes a long way, and she had NONE of it. Quite frankly, she was a snarky *expletive*. If these are the type of people ADP employs, we want nothing to do with them anymore. ADP is on track to becoming overtaken by competitors. Their disintegrated internal operations and atrocious customer service will make sure of that. We will not be using them for any of our other businesses, nor would we recommend them to the businesses of our friends, family, and colleagues.

I started using ADP when I started my company in 2016. The first thing I can tell you, is that the sales reps are only there for the sale. The only contact you have is that person, and they will only contact you if they can sell you another product. You are turned over to a customer service rep in another state and only have telephone and email contact. Normally resulting in leaving a message and waiting for a callback. A great example is I called my sales person with an issue in May. He texted me back and set up a follow up appointment to meet with me. He never showed up.

We use ADP's HR services which include job postings. Originally, they used Indeed. It was great. I actually received great resumes from people interested in working for me. They made a switch to ZipRecruiter in April. The Zip is correct, because I got zero quality candidates. ZipRecruiter has people shotgunning resumes all over the site. The quality of applicants is very poor to say the least... Lastly, the submission time has suddenly changed for my payroll submissions. Nobody can give me a straight answer as to why or when the change occurred. My payroll has been submitted on time by my agreement, but now I am being told it needs to be in 4 hours earlier. My last 2 pays have gone in by the original deadline, and my employees' direct deposits are not in the bank on Friday Morning.

When I called customer service, I got some smart ** kid on the phone named Vin. He was rude and condescending to say the least. No empathy. Just you were late. I asked him when the submission time changed and he said it's been that way forever. He wouldn't tell me how long he has worked there; my guess about a week. So in summary, if you want a company that holds on to your money and makes interest on it, changes the terms of your agreement without informing you, has no local customer service, is overpriced, and doesn't really care about keeping their customers, go with ADP. I know I am going to start looking elsewhere.

I have been calling customer service since March for a very simple issue and despite my numerous calls it has yet to be resolved. I lost my card for my previous employer and called on March 22 to get a replacement to access the remaining amount of $85.54. On the first occasion my card failed to appear at the address I provided your representative with. So they resent my card. Once again it failed to be delivered. I was suggested to provide a new address, which I did. Still no card. Moving forward I moved so the next time I called I provided the representative with my address and they failed to add the apt number despite my mentioning that I had just moved to an apartment in Fresno.

I found out the apt number was not added when I once again called regarding my card each time after it failed to appear within the 7-10 business days. I called again and the representative offered to send my card via Express 3-5 day shipping. This was on the 9th of May and my card still has not arrived. I called a few minutes ago and the representative said they dont have a tracking number for my delivery and they will put a request for it. I was instructed to wait 2 hrs before I call again to check on how things are going. I understand that errors occur but this is seriously ridiculous. I am tired of calling over and over again about money that is literally just sitting there that I can't access. I have asked if it can just be deposited to my bank account but time after time I just keep getting offered for a new card to get sent to my address. It's not making it to me so it seems like I'm in a continuous circle of calling for new cards to get sent.

    To Whom It May Concern:

We have reviewed the Negative Consumer Affairs review posted by Susana Cazares.

ADP Payroll Services, Inc. (ADP) provides our clients with an efficient way to pay their employees electronically, and a beneficial financial tool for their employees, through a Visa branded payroll card. In reviewing Ms. Cazares account, it appears that Ms. Cazares had concerns regarding the delay she experienced when she requested a replacement card after reporting her card as lost.

After Ms. Cazares initially reported her card lost, ADP made several attempts to provide her a replacement card, which she never received. The last attempt appears to have failed do to representative error in her new address. After receiving her post, I contacted Ms. Cazares to address the matter. Ms. Cazares was sent temporary card delivered via UPS overnight delivery to allow her immediate access to her funds. On May 24, 2018, I confirmed she had received the temporary card and had access to her funds. Ms. Cazares was provided our direct contact information should she have any additional concerns.

ADP strives to provide excellent customer service and address escalations in a timely manner and apologizes for the inconvenience Ms. Cazares experienced by the difficulties and inadvertent error she experienced.

We hope this response adequately addresses the concerns of Ms. Cazares.

    Sincerely,

    Arianna

So ADP makes a BIG mistake a few weeks ago, which is still having ramifications. I spent 1 hour and 12 minutes on the phone with them last week, and that resulted in me getting dizzy since the conversation just continued to go in circles. The staff member was talking over me constantly, so she obviously did not hear everything I was saying. She had stated she would call me back by Thursday (yesterday) and as of today, there has been no return call, and no resolve on the issue I reported. They insisted on placing blame everywhere except on themselves. Please get your act together ADP and get this issue resolved.

    Dear Ms. Liveris,

Thank you for your feedback. We have reviewed the recorded call, which you had with the ADP associate on May 18, 2018. We agree that your concern could have been handled much more efficiently. Feedback was provided to the associate’s manager, for coaching and counselling purposes. The associate’s manager also listened to the recorded call.

We have assigned both a manager and a MyLife Specialist, who have been in continuous contact with you, detailing our internal step by step processes, to help ensure that this issue is now resolved to your satisfaction.

We believe we have addressed all concerns at this time and would appreciate it if you would consider updating your Consumer Affairs rating, based on our quick response to your constructive feedback.

After being hired almost 3 months ago. I was told that I cannot elect health benefits because I already elected through my previous employer, who also uses ADP. The problem with that is that I haven't worked for that employer in 6 years. After contacting said employer, they told me that these sort of "glitches" have been known to happen. Even after my previous employer admitted to fault, ADP has done nothing to rectify the situation. I have called several times and several times have had my case "escalated" to no satisfactory result. They pretty much just suggest that I wait for open enrollment in October for coverage in 2019. RIDICULOUS! They keep referring me back to my current human resources department, and HR keeps referring me back to SHBP/ADP.

I am very disappointed by ADP's responses to my situation and I feel victimized. What if I had some terminal disease that I was dealing with? What if I had children that depended on my Health coverage (i do not, but that isn't relevant, is it?)? I have earned my current position and I am entitled to health benefits, but ADP doesn't seem to agree, judging by their inaction. I am fed up, and best believe I will not take this lying down. The next step is LEGAL ACTION.

At the end we request them to send it to us and then when we had the ROE and we went to submit it, service Ontario employee mentioned that the ROE is wrongly created. With lots of mistake like they had a 13 day gap between the years my wife worked, and ROE is suppose to be of one page, they created 2 page, my wife who just delivered is going through a lot by running all around the place for this document, as I am writing this, we haven't received the ROE yet.

ADP has collected the money but employees have not gotten their paychecks deposits and all we are getting from ADP is that they are running to "see" if it goes through. For the largest payroll processing company, I would think that they should be able to do more than that and correct an issue in a timely manner.

You tell me nothing should be wrong especially if your app is notifying me that my paycheck is ready to view. This is unacceptable especially because depending on the employer they have to use you. I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing challenges accessing your pay info. You were actually instructed correctly to contact your employer's Human Resources or Payroll contact for assistance, as ADP is generally not permitted to work with employees of our clients directly. Nobody has ever called and there is no direct number to TLM Support. I have email multiple time and called regular customer service for ADP. Nobody responds to email at TLMSupport@adp.com. Customer service constantly gives me a case number and says someone will get back to me with 24-48 hours. Nobody ever gets back to me and we are still being billed for this service as of 5/4/18.
