    We have very few issues during our payroll processing, and if there is an issue, it is relatively easy and quick to get in touch with a customer service rep to resolve it. I also like the callback feature if call volume is high or if it's due to limited representatives.

    I have never had a payroll company before and my experience has been great with ADP. They take care of my payroll and the employee taxes. They also handle my end of the year W-2s which is fabulous. I have never had any issues with the work they have done for me.

    Very professional and trustworthy. I have had very few issues and when I ran into trouble ADP always helped me out immediately. I have recommended ADP to other people for use. ADP takes all worries away when it comes to filing Taxes and with our W2.

    Very easy to use, fast and efficient, when using client support help function, always receive quick accurate solutions. Easy to add and terminate employees, reports function is most useful, checking quarterly tax payments is a great feature. Overall ADP system processes are very good for my needs.

    I have found the online payroll process to be seamless, accurate and very easy to understand. I have worked with other websites that were cumbersome and required a lot of back-and-forth with representatives. This has not been the case with ADP.

    Had misunderstanding about FUTA payments in 2017. No problems resulted. Aside from that, I have been very satisfied. ADP agents were very knowledgeable in assisting me when I had any questions. Would definitely recommend ADP for payroll needs.

    Thanks for excellent software at site to easily do my payrolls, add employees, run payroll reports. Payroll has always been on time for delivery to employees. I run two companies through ADP. At year end it is nice to know W-2s are delivered on time after last payroll run for the year.

    We are a small company. We love the personal touch the company provides to small business owners. We have been doing business with this company for about 8 years.     Love how every time I call ADP that the customer support representatives are SO helpful. They offer to help get my payroll done if I'm having a problem, for example, logging into the system that's preventing me from submitting payroll. Best customer support reps I have worked with!

    I have been trying to get my T4s for 2017 sorted and corrected. This has been going on for 3 months. Still not completed. Can't get any help. Just getting the runaround. I need to get this completed as ADP is putting in a bad situation where I am not able to get correct T4s to my employees.

    Updated on 04/13/2018: I have now been fined by Revenue Canada 437.00 for late filings of t4s. These were completed by ADP 3 times so far and they still are not correct.

    Mr. Harmer,

    It is my understanding that John, one of our senior managers, was in touch with you and together you worked through the outstanding information required to modify the T4s. As a result, the test tax forms were generated, reviewed/approved last Monday (4/16) and went to production on 4/18. John also issued credits for your CRA penalties as well as ADP run/filing fees.

    We believe the matter has been resolved, but please do not hesitate to reach out to John should you require anything else.

    Always able to assist and resolve whether it is payroll, HR issue or 401K Plan. Very polite, professional, courteous staff and knowledgeable every time I call with my issue or question.     Whenever I need assistance with my payroll when I added a new employee, I called the help desk and the agent was able to walk with me on how to add an item on my own.     The payroll is easy to do yourself, and if you find that you have made a mistake, or want to do something that you are not sure of, they are helpful and nice about, always make you feel comfortable about any mistake and will show you how to fix it, so that you understand for the next time. I have had to call them several times and was always satisfied and happy. I have a friend in California that has a big payroll, more than mine, that converted to your company last year and he loves them too.

    ADP is holding over two months of my child support payments. They will not help me at all. I have been a Payroll specialist for 6 years. I have referred them to hundreds of clients over the year. Never again!!! Horrible experience. I am still fighting to get MY MONEY TO SUPPORT MY 2 CHILDREN! Eviction order in place. They do not care! I will be sharing this info on every website I can find.     While the payroll services ADP provides is convenient, I have been very dissatisfied with the way I have been treated. I was in search of a CPA to help me with both payroll and my taxes for my new business. Before ever providing any services to me, he was already asking for referrals. I did not give any as I had no experience yet to go on, so he asked for my friends’ contact info from a mutual friend, contacted them and used MY name. Extremely unethical!! He is not answering my emails about my taxes but is still trying to get me to set up new business with him. It is CLEAR that he is only worried about making money off me. I do not know if this is a representation of the entire company but I am VERY DISSATISFIED and will be taking my business elsewhere.

    Worst service by any company ever. They have zero clue about tax payment and related filing. Have absolutely no knowledge about how their software work with a customer call center service which is strictly only during official hour on weekdays. So if they don’t do their job you need to take leave from your job to know and tell them what is going wrong with their service. Worst all they still don’t do anything about it. It’s been over six month and I am still stuck with delayed filing of taxes as well as tax report.

    Same stuff I keep repeating to their nth number of customer service representative and result every single month I keep getting letters for non filing of taxes and/or tax report. ADP is a nightmare which doesn’t look like ending. Please don’t ever ever subscribe to any of their service. Better to have Intuit which were far far better and always available to help you out. Never ever had any issue with Intuit service. Regret my decision to change to ADP just because my bank agent asked me. Paying a very expensive price for ADP.

    On February 2, 2018, a portion of my direct deposit went in the wrong account at my bank. The error occurred due to an extra digit I added to the account number. I informed my payroll department immediately. They responded telling me to “give it time to return.” It never returned. I contacted my bank. They informed me that it was up to my employer and ADP. I recently left the company, however, I repeatedly contacted my former employer regarding this matter.

    After months of going back and forth, I was told ADP could not reverse the payment and contact my bank. The bank can not reverse a deposit. Only the company that placed the deposit can initiate a reversal. Therefore, another person received my wages and there is nothing I can do about it. This is unfair. I currently work for a new company in a financial capacity. If and when I have the chance, I would look into other payroll companies. I would not want what happened to me to happen to any other employee.

    ADP Managed Payroll Team member Tracey manually reviewed all of your 2017 check stubs in the payroll system and compiled all data into an Excel spreadsheet. She then compared the data to the 2017 W2 that was provided to you in January 2018 and compared the totals (Gross, Federal, State, Social Security, and Medicare). Everything tied out exactly between the manual reconciliation and the 2017 W2. An email message was sent directly to you on 4/13/18 to inform you that the 2017 W2 provided to you is correct.

    There is an ongoing issue with whatever payroll manager ADP assigns to our corporate account in that they do not respond to emails. One of the payroll managers gave me incorrect info in an email on where to send the 2018 SUI notices from the various states we have employees in. This resulted in incorrect SUI taxes for the first two payrolls of 2018 and me having to send all of the information twice. We have had ongoing issues from the implementation which went horribly to even now. I recommended to our owners that we move from Paychex to ADP and I regret that decision all the time. At least Paychex was responsive and worked hard to resolve issues. If I weren't retiring in a few months, I would look at changing away from ADP.

    Easy to communicate with and everyone has been very helpful with any issues I may have had. I can do everything I need to do through the website when it come to the payroll. Only problem I have had is with our local contact her in Jacksonville. He called to set up a meet and greet then had to cancel and haven't heard from him since.

    I'm an employee of Alternatives FCU in Ithaca, NY. ADP has screwed up my payroll three times since November. For instance, I've been incorrectly charged for health insurance I don't have. Last week my accrued PTO was screwed up and shows a negative balance of over 90 hours. It should be positive about. 160 hours.

    HR assures me it's ADP's fault and not hers. ADP will not assign us a rep, so calling them to get answers is ineffective - you speak with a different person every time. It seems certain our HR has been given incorrect information, creating problems for some of us. Worst part - I have to wait a full two weeks until ADP runs another payroll and resolves the issue. Here's the email HR just sent me:

    "Hello I wanted to let you know that we talked with ADP and they tell us the PTO balances are fixed but I honestly don’t trust them. They say we have to run payroll next week in order to know for sure if they are fixed. They say there is no way to check it before running payroll – Really? Anyway we will check them and if they are still wrong we will stay on top of it. I will be on vacation next week but Sarah is going follow up. The assured me that you can still take PTO because the balances are fixed behind the scene." I've had it with ADP and am unwilling to be quiet about it. This is my pay and benefits, people! Stop screwing with them.

    Is there a way to avoid questions on ADP site, when confirming my identity is real? For example, I am new to ADP for its payroll stubs and w2 forms and trying to register. One of the question will list if I know a certain person, and it will provide about 4 to five answers for me to choose the correct answer. Most answers provided, I do not even know who they are. It then boots me out for answering wrong. I don't get it. I don't know those people. What can I do, so I can register fully and get into my paystubs? Should I click cancel will that option for confirmation of my identity comes on? It's frustrating. Now my registration is locked and I have to contact my employer. I just need help.

    I have been on the phone with ADP customer service for almost two months trying to solve an issue. ADP staff has no idea what they are doing, all you hear is, "I am going to send this to the person in charge of this" and at the end nobody helps. This is my issue with ADP: I got married last August and since my new husband’s insurance is cheaper we all switched to his insurance, meaning me and my two kids from previous marriage. There was no problem there, I sent them the paperwork and they stopped taking the medical benefits. One day they I get a letter saying they received a court order from child support saying my kids need to be under my insurance and they are waiting for a release from the state. I never knew about that order but I guess since there is in the divorce decree is in the system. (I have custody of both of my kids and they always had insurance through me).

    Soon after that letter, they started to take medical insurance again, and even more money than I paid before. I called the state and they sent them the release right away. I kept calling to see if they got it and everyone at ADP said, "No, we still waiting." One day I had enough and called ADP really mad. Magically the release appeared the next day, but now I am also responsible for the whole month of March (when they got the release “March 13” because it will be effective on April 1, because that’s what ADP wants. So that would be $1,200 total that they took from me (When you make $500 a week that is a lot of money) for their lack of knowledge, lack of willingness to do their job, and lack of empathy.

    The state don’t care if they are on my new husband’s insurance. All they needed was prove that my kids had insurance. ADP failed to know the family court laws, and they should know them. They could have called and ask the state, send them a copy of my new card, just like I did, or at least make it happen faster. If I don’t get involved I would be paying 2 insurances forever. Now I am asking for a refund of my money, and they don’t want to give it back to me. This is not right and I won’t stop until I get my money back.

    We have tried several payroll services and all fail in service and actually doing what they are suppose to. ADP has been on top of things since the beginning. I strongly attribute that to our representative Case **. He goes out of his way to take care of all of my stores (10 total) and doesn't miss a beat. We will have 25 stores by the end of the year and that is why I will trust him with all of them!! Payroll is very important, go with someone who will take care of you... ADP!!!

    Very, very dissatisfied with ADP, with their customer service, and with the overall service provided. There is no response from them. I was overcharged and never reimbursed. They have shorted the taxes paid and it's 9 months without a correction. Absolutely no confidence in them. I really wish someone would just respond.

    I hate having to call for customer service through video relay service or the Sprint relay service for the deaf and them requesting to talk to a cardholder through voice when we can't even hear or talk! I really hate the ADP card service.

    I was contacted by ADP and found out that the rounding method is selected by the employer. I am surprised that this method is allowed. However, ADP was very quick to answer my questions. So, the take-home message is CHECK YOUR HOURS before the pay period ends. You are likely being shortchanged.

    I am so frustrated with ADP. I do not understand why they think it is ok to round your time twice a day. My time gets rounded for my pre-lunch hours, and my post-lunch hours. I frequently see that after working 8 hours by timecard says 7.75! I do not get to choose when I go to lunch so it just happens. I have even seen where I worked 8 hours and 3 minutes and had 7.75. The time should only be rounded ONCE at the end of the day based on the total hours and minutes worked. I can only imagine how many hundreds of dollars I lost before I noticed this error. For the last year, I have had to check after EVERY shift to see if the math is correct and then have my manager correct it when it is wrong. It has already shorted me half an hour so far this paycheck! I cannot believe this is how a timeclock company operates. You could be sued for all the lost wages!

    I have been having problems with ADP Aline Card customer service for the past few weeks. According to their customer service, my card initially closed last June. That's not the major complaint. The major complaint is that I have been given the runaround. Each of the customer representatives that I have spoken to have said different things. At least one of them have told me to send an e-mail. However, I haven't gotten a response. I just talked to a customer service representative earlier today and was told that someone had cashed my check. How is that possible? Was there an identity theft? I was now told that they would investigate and see what happens. And that someone will contact me. Hope so. I do have to say that they are terrible and am ripping me off.

    ADP, in its basic form is the highest value spend I make in my business. The service is very good, responsive and available. I tried another service based on pricing of 401k which ADP quoted an exorbitant price to maintain. The other service was a national player, and it was absolutely, positively, atrocious in comparison. With a little negotiation I was able to get a price from ADP on 401k that I can tolerate, though find expensive.

    I called when I didn’t receive a paper check in the mail by today and I found out that this company mailed a direct deposit card (Aline card) to an address other than mine on the 23rd of February. In all my experiences with other companies, I have received a courtesy email saying a card will be arriving shortly in the mail with setup instructions. Simply put, if I never would have remembered that my employer automatically sets me up with direct deposit through them and called (if I didn’t provide my bank info), then I wouldn’t have never known they had my paycheck sitting on a card at someone else's address. Get this, while I was actually on the phone with them I received the first email ever from them. So they had my email right at least the whole. What was the excuse for absolutely no correspondence until I actually contacted them?

    I had a dependent care reimbursement account set up in which ADP would automatically withhold funds and submit them to Discovery Benefits for my withdrawal for childcare expenses. However, during one pay period ADP withheld the funds from my check and they were never remitted to Discovery Benefits. I don't know if my money is in limbo somewhere. I have been calling ADP for the past two months and every time I call I just get a message saying "due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot answer your call at this time". I have not been able to reach anyone despite my phone calls and e-mails.

    New employee was not included in pay period. I called to have him added to next pay schedule. First ADP rep Tamara did not understand the issue and miss advised me on how to proceed. She issued a special pay and that meant he was going to get paid twice. When realized her mistake, I called again and Alexander took the time to understand the problem. He fixed everything and everything was resolved to my satisfaction. He was a true professional.

    I got set up for automatic payments and don't have to do a thing. Everything is taken care of. All I have to do is call in the new pay amounts once a year. During the setup process I got several emails requesting paperwork that I already submitted but that was the only issue.

    I sincerely like having the "control" over our company's payroll. The ADP team is always available for support when I have a question, and I appreciate that. When I input payroll data, I can see it immediately. I very much like being able to input info or to make changes myself, without having to wait for a representative to respond to an e-mail or phone message.     While our company is small and our payroll is not overly complicated, we have questions and sometimes make mistakes, including not accounting for federal holidays and incorrectly reporting cash draws by employees. Every time I've had a question they've had an answer and were able to help me rectify any resulting mistakes. The staff is so helpful and wonderful. Honestly can't say enough wonderful things!     I left your company because I got 3 fines this year for the way I entered my payroll. They showed me how to do it on a different day, but not to change the date. I talked to legal twice and customer service several times. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME HOW TO INPUT IT WITHOUT GETTING THE FINE WHICH I PAID. I paid more in fines than for payroll and never got a call until after I left. The people I talked to after I quit have been super nice so they get 5 stars minus 3 stars for three fines you get a 2, because as a whole you suck.

    We appreciate that the customer service reps are experienced and knowledgeable about HR. They also do not hesitate to find an answer to any question we have ever had, but usually they already know the answers. We like that the delivery is always on time with the exception of the few inclement weather delays. Any reports we need are at our fingertips; the website is set up that information is easy to find. We could not hire someone in house to do all that ADP does for us for the fees we are charged by ADP; and for that we are very appreciative and thankful to ADP.

    When I was offered a lower rate, ADP adjusted my rate so that it made sense to continue with ADP. Also when my CT SUI rate changed for YTD, ADP credits my invoices to offset deductions made at the previous rate.

    When filing my taxes through Turbo Tax I later realized I put the wrong account number to my ADP card. (Turbo Tax wouldn't let me enter the other numbers). After realizing the account number was wrong and the funds will later be rejected I called SBGT who partners with Turbo Tax to inquire about the funds if ADP rejected them yet. The funds were sent on the 27th and weren't rejected yet. Although I was informed to wait one more day (the 28th), ADP informed that they haven't ever received any funds. Speaking to a representative is hard. I kept getting bounced around and when asked for ADP to track the ACH tracking IRS provided me with they could not. Horrible horrible service. Will try again tomorrow. Hopefully everything turns around!

    Satisfied by accuracy and CS always are helpful. Sometimes the wait time is long especially on Ezlabor. The time clock's time will off a few minutes after a period of time. Tried to fix it in server ourselves but sometimes has to go through CS to fix it.

    My overall opinion of working with ADP is satisfied. The service for the price is mediocre, at best. The staff is helpful but not always thorough, and the salespeople can be pushy. With that said, our services are basic payroll, so maybe we're not a priority customer. We've had our checks sent to incorrect locations, more than once, after repeat calls to correct. And most recently, a salesman contacted me to offer a promotion which resulted in "combative behavior", requiring his supervisor to email an apology to me. Still, I received a notice that our fees will increase at least 5% on the next billing cycle. The only reason I vote 3 stars/satisfied, and not less, is because I am thankful for an automated payroll system. I would rather have ADP than none. But there are MANY automated systems out there, these days. I would like to see ADP lower their prices for basic payroll, or offer more service for the price increase.

    On January 22, 2018 I sent an email to ADP regarding a tax notice received from the IRS. That same day, ADP sent back a response that I would get a reply once my request was complete. I did NOT! Since no response was received, I called ADP to inquire about the status of my request. I was informed that the person I needed to speak with was on another call and would call me back in an hour. This, also, did NOT happen! On February 13, 2018 I sent another email to ADP regarding quarterly taxes that were not filed. I also referenced my original email from January 22, 2018. That same day, ADP again sent back a response that I would get a reply once my request was complete. I have still gotten no response from ADP regarding these tax issues. This is totally unacceptable!

    ADP is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have a garnishment against my ex. Before ADP took over her company's payroll in November, I would receive my garnishment check the week after she got paid. Now, I have received 2 checks from them since Nov. (6 checks behind now) I have called umpteen times to find out where my money is and every time they say they will reissue the check (4th time they have reissued these checks) finally I get 3 checks in the mail, and I think to myself FINALLY! I deposit the checks and within a couple days I receive a message from my bank that the checks have been charged back to my account and I am being charged $15 because of it. So AGAIN I'm on the phone with ADP trying to find out what is going on... Turns out those were 3 of the checks they cancelled to reissue.

    So now it's costing me money. So I ask the rep to send me a check that has a tracking number, even if I have to pay to have UPS deliver, his response was, "We don't do that." I can understand after reissuing once not wanting to track but after the third or fourth time... COME ON!!! So finally I ask to speak to a supervisor, the rep got very rude with me and finally connected me with a supervisor. The Supervisor tells me to call back in 48 hrs and he will have a tracking number for me. Okay... Wait. How are you going to give me a tracking number for a check that was supposedly sent out on January 30th and it is now Feb 21st??? So ok, I'll play along. I'll call back in 48 hrs.

    48 hrs later I call back and get the same rep. and ask for the tracking number. They said they'd have for me. Once again the run around."Oh well. We are still trying to get that tracking number, it will take a couple more days, call back on Monday, the supervisor you spoke with on Wed. is still waiting on an email from the department that provides the tracking numbers." Wait. What??? This is the same guy who told me they don't DO tracking numbers!!! At this point I can't believe as big of a company that ADP is that they can't seem to figure this out and take care of this issue and make it right.
