About Toco Warranty
Toco Warranty can help cover the cost of unexpected and frustrating car repairs. The company offers one contract with four levels of coverage — your level of coverage is determined by the miles on your vehicle’s odometer at the time the claim is submitted. The company lets you make monthly payments rather than pay upfront or put down a down payment. Toco Warranty also provides roadside assistance, car rental assistance and full concierge service.

After a work week of business, bad customer service during lunchtime, crazy coworkers and supervisor demands, my representative, Sergio, was able to help me decompress, by helping me to remember that there are still good people in this world. He patiently explained every next step in the warranty application process, empathized with me when needed, provided me with awesome, unexpected options and above all, he listened! I felt valued throughout the entire process. If you have had the good fortune of having him care for your warranty needs in the past, consider yourself lucky. If you've never had a conversation with him before, but you happen to receive a call from him, you'll understand what I mean. Thanks Sergio.

I have been paying for this warranty for 7 months, my vehicle has a problem with it. Fuel system/gas tank which show it coverage on the contract. The repair shop I take it to says that Toco won't cover one thing that's wrong with it or even cover to diagnose it which I was paying anyways but they needed to drop the tank to make sure it was the gas tank that was the problem but Toco said we ain't covering anything. "You need to pay to drop the tank and maybe we will reimburse you."
The technician was in disbelief as I was since they are denying it even without wanting to find out what it is even after multiple calls to them and he stating it was the gas tank. I had other warranty company and this by far is the worst and their customer service is even worst. The guy was like, "Let me give you 2 free months of coverage" but for what if they won't even cover what on the contract. It took literally 2 hours for me to cancel my coverage with them. I literally had to get transferred multiple time before they would cancel my contract.
Upon request to cancel, Toco will always try to help customers in case there is something that we can do. In this case it appears that we offered counsel and assistance. Unfortunately, we cannot adjust the claim decision.

She was helpful with her detail but I'm still not satisfied with the warranty coverage. I'd been a customer for almost a year and still I'm paying for repairs out of my pocket and I'm not for sure that I will recommend anyone to this company

Was knowledgeable and clear about policy and benefits. Took the time to answer all questions and concerned. Respectful and patient when ask to repeat or further explain certain areas of the policy. No pressure or hard sell tactics. It was a very stress-free experience.

Jay was both knowledgeable and friendly. The bottom line is always when/if anything need be done to a vehicle service wise and from there how correct the description of coverage was/is from the plan. The true, +/- take away would always be if/when repairs were to happen. How else could one tell?

When I received the call from Sergio, I was really hesitant. After I talk to him, it became apparent this is the best extended warranty for my vehicle. This warranty was really responsible. He explained that the warranty will help cover the repair costs of my vehicle.

This man Derrick… He has the gift of gab. :) He sold me a policy I didn’t think I need. But after careful consideration being a single mom in the world of the auto industry… If something does happen to my car… I wouldn’t be able to shell out a whole lot of money. I loved his customer service. He was nice and friendly and assisted me in every step of the way.
We love Derrick! He does a great job of helping our customers determine if the coverage is a good fit, and it sounds like this is. Very easy person to talk with. Had knowledge of insurance and process. Did not put pressure on me ro purchase insurance, but gave me the pros and cons for doing so. Having little knowledge of the insurance process I felt it was a positive experience.

My experience was uplifting to the point my server being elegant in listening to my problem. My old car warranty easy pay plan was not difficult in administering, but only good when it was not shut down for 2 to 4 weeks or when customer service kept me on hold for hours or customer service stating that there is no account registered by me.

Wouldn't cover anything. I was lied to from the beginning. I was a customer for three years before I tried using the service. Buyer beware. Toco is not to be dealt with or trusted. They have two different departments that handle the customer. One to take your money and the other to tell you that they don't honor anything.
No one likes to feel lied to or taken advantage of, so this complaint is greatly concerning to us. Toco believes in honesty and transparency and is committed to honoring what we say. We have listened to the Sales call and can confirm that the contract was sold in accordance with the terms and conditions in the contract. Investigation on the claim shows that one complaint was on the seat belt (listed specifically under the "Exclusions" portion of the contract), and the other was on a sensor that is not listed, offered, or advertised as part of the coverage.
It is unfortunate that any claim is denied. To prevent misunderstandings or misconceptions, Toco:1.) Lists all contracts online for customers to review before purchase
2.) Has strict compliance with the sale of the contract, including QA'd call recordings and a verification process highlighting all compliance points
3.) Follows-up four days after the point of sale with an onboarding call to confirm that the customer received/understands the contract
4.) Provides a 60-day full refund period so that the customer can have enough time to familiarize themselves with the information.
We are always looking to improve, and open to any additional suggestions on how we can advertise more clearly.It is unfortunate that this instance occurred, and Toco is sorry to lose such a longstanding customer.

You are in the highest level of care on the market, the Orange Plan, which is a mirror of the manufacturer's warranty. You are absolutely set up for success. While we don't use the words bumper to bumper so that we can avoid any subjective terminology or misinterpretation of the contract (we don't want anyone thinking that we cover their bumpers), we are excited to know that you are lined up as best as you possibly could be. I want to be clear from the beginning, I am a new customer in the "waiting period" still, and have had no experience with warranty coverage nor filed a claim yet. This review and rating pertains specifically to the support I have received with regards to the sales support. Daurie B. was my rep. and was able to answer all of my questions, apply my applicable discounts, flexible in offering options, and made clear the mission statement of the company, their relationship to the "provider" (administrator of the warranty), the included and excluded parts and components, and was personable and helpful.
I've not bought an extended warranty from a 3rd party in the past, over the last 10+ vehicles I've owned in just as many (or slightly more) years. The reason I chose to go with Toco was after doing research on their BBB profile looking into their complaints (relatively small given the size of the contracts in existence), their positive ratings with Consumer Affairs, and with their upfront ability to communicate everything without surprises/gimmicks.
I feel that their mission is clear and their representative (in this case singular, though I'm sure others may be as well) conveys that mission. As I stated on the phone, Toco is selling peace of mind really, chances are I won't end up using the warranty service. If I do, I hope that process will be just as pleasant as I intend to maintain my vehicle and wish to drive it for years to come.

I have TWO policies with Toco. Have had one of them since early 2016. Have NEVER BEEN ABLE to use policy. Yes I have read the policy front to back. The driver side window motor went out and paid over 300.00 to fix it and we faxed receipts several times and Y'ALL said you never got them. (Car I'm speaking of is the Impala). 2nd policy started in 2017. Y'all replaced alternator. But before you did YOU (Toco) gave the repair shop the runaround til 7pm that night saying you never received work orders.. The biggest mess. We spent out 900.00 on Impala in February of this year on the Impala. Which we had to borrow. I want to cancel both policies so bad I can taste it. But I know as soon as I do the motors will probably fall out.. I DO NOT LIKE YOUR COMPANY!!!

I’ve been doing a lot of research about the different extended warranty companies. Toco seems to really have great ratings the agent that I talked to was very friendly and informative about get my plan set up. I like it that I didn’t have to put a large amount of money upfront like some others was wanting. There are some very shady companies out there. My gut tells that Toco isn’t and my gut feeling is 99.9% right.

Friendly and actually Courteous of my conversation unlike a few other employees there. But overall was well... I have to say I have been two months without a car and trying to get this taking care of... which is sad... The mechanic at Eurofed Independence has even seen my car was taking care of to the fullest extent... Provided great detail about what was coved with the plans I was looking at. Didn't seem high pressure to buy. Product seems to cover all systems other than some which just seem to cover engine and transmission. Total time on phone was way less than an hour.

Great product and will continue to renew until able to. I have not had any vehicle issues just yet but the piece of mind keeps us all at ease. The only downside for me is that the renewal contract got more expensive.
We know that it is disappointing when rates rise, which is why it is so great that you locked in your rate now. As parts and labor prices continue to rise, it is a smart move to lock in your rate and budget your repairs over the long run.
