Everything went well and on the date that we requested. Eve, the rep, was very helpful and attentive. She emails us with updates and she's very good. We've never walked in the dark on anything. The carrier drivers were also very good. They were courteous and also stayed in contact with us. It took six days from pick up to drop off and it was faster than we expected. The last time we shipped the car, we had a broken windshield and in this one, there's no damage, whatsoever. So, we’re very happy.

We had a daughter who's doing an internship that we needed to ship a car to that location. We saw the reviews online and we contacted them and they gave me a general range of the quote which was higher than I thought but it was in line with everybody else's. There were multiple emails and phone conversations with the reps but the surprising thing for me was they didn't give me an exact date and there was a very big window on when they would ship the car. But it all worked out. I had just one interaction with the driver on the day of delivery but the second time we used them we had multiple conversations with him and the delivery was much later that he had stated he was going to be there. Instead of being there at noon on one day he showed up at 5:00 PM the next day so we had to change our pickup schedule. So if you are considering to use them carefully make sure you have a week for the pick up and a week for the delivery. But overall their service has been adequate.

The quote I got from Ship a Car was $940 and it was a bit over the budget. But after I did the math, it's 40 cents per mile so I was okay with that price. Their rep, John, was excellent. I also like the videos that they have because those explained to me what's going on. So I decided to go with them. Their customer service rep was very friendly and professional. And whenever I had questions, he would write to me right away or I would leave a voicemail and then he will call me back. However, when we received the car, it was so dirty because of the weather. I would have appreciated it if they would take it to a place and wash it. I don't know if this is something that they would do or you would command them to do or not. The damage free guarantee is limited to $500 and they have no leverage over Seahawk Logistics, the long-haul carrier, or its local carrier, who simply denied all responsibility. We received the Ship a Car Direct app after the car was shipped, effectively negating our ability to negate the unscrupulous claims of both carriers and the obscene behavior of the local carrier. The solution - Ship a Car Direct will not in future recommend Seahawk Logistics to you. Good luck on your assigned carrier and look to your own insurance for damage to your car. Best to do your own legwork and use a carrier known to you than to work with a broker and unknown carriers.
