Ship a Car Direct brokered a truck driver with B&B Transport to transport our two vehicles from California to Michigan. The driver picked up the cars four days later than Ship a Car Direct indicated they would be picked up. The driver did not pick up the cars at our home address as documented by Ship a Car Direct and we had to drive the cars to the truck driver at a different location. The delivery in Michigan was even worse. The driver never communicated with us regarding his arrival time. We had to text and wait for a response and the driver finally called back and again argued about the drop off location documented.

I looked at three different transport companies when my daughter moved from Wisconsin to California and Ship a Car Direct's rep was friendly and helpful when we made the arrangements. Ship a Car Direct's videos were also helpful so that I knew what to expect. The quote they provided was fair and it ended up as it was. Their driver was also friendly. When the vehicle was delivered, my daughter said he called then he came over, and the delivery was very smooth. The experience was very comfortable and I was glad that everything went so smoothly. Ship a Car Direct is reliable, fairly priced and timely because the car got delivered in less than a week.

I've moved from Philadelphia to Dallas and the quote Ship a Car Direct gave me was good although at the end there were some additional charges. The delivery was timely but the truck guy charged $50 extra. They said it was an agreement between Ship a Car and the truck. The drivers tried to come late in the evening and they took the opportunity to charge the extra coming one day early. But they turned up almost at the same scheduled date so the transport service sometimes take a little bit advantage and charging a bit of extra money once the deal is confirmed. Other than that everything was good as far as the delivery or the vehicle.
