The whole process was simple and on time based on the timelines that Jennifer helped me select. I appreciated all her help and experience. The car was delivered by an open carrier and hence was dirty as expected however without any damage.

Had a car transported from CT to CA using Ship A Car Direct. Could not have been more pleased. Jennifer was on top of everything, checking in regularly to be sure things were going well. She was friendly and informative. Thomas at Longhaul Auto Transport was wonderful. On time, also kept us informed and very nice. We were very comfortable leaving the car with him and knowing he would be the one to meet up with our 27 yr. old daughter.

I am so friggin’ happy with Ship a Car Direct. I got my dream car and had to ship it. I was so scared something would happen to it. Customer service was super communicative. When I asked for my assigned carrier’s insurance info, they provided it within minutes!! They left all the decisions up to me, once we found a carrier I was comfortable with, I had my car within days. When Stefan was unavailable they had a 24/7 hotline that was just as helpful. They also offer that if something happens to your vehicle and the carrier dishonestly doesn’t take responsibility, Ship a Car Direct will take care of it. I’m not sure what the limitations are. Thankfully I didn’t have to deal with that, as my car didnt even get dirty, traveling from MD to Miami.

Shipping of 1969 Firebird - I have transported multiple cars over the years, and this was the best experience I have had. We were kept informed, and the company had an app so we could document the condition of the car prior to shipping. The individual that picked the car up was helpful and careful with vehicle loading. At arrival he called the night before, and delivered the car at the predicted time and date. Really a very good experience.

We were transferred to Arizona, from Oregon, after being in the same home for 20 years. Of course we have two vehicles. We decided to look into shipping a car and oh my goodness - we were bombarded with aggressive emails from companies promising the moon and saying horrible things about other companies. It was so bad We had decided to just go ahead and drive two cars the 1500 miles.

The reviews for this company were very high And after speaking with a representative I felt like it was a small company and could handle our transport needs. My son was moving to Phoenix and we wanted to ship the Ford F-150 truck there. I went online and Ship a Car Direct was the one that came up and had a good quote, so I took them. The reviews were all really good so I was happy. Their reps were really good, on top of things and easy to talk to. They sent me emails often letting me know that they're trying to get someone to take the car and all that. The pick-up was just down the street from our home which worked out great. The driver was really, really nice. He went out of his way and we checked over the car. He was great. If we needed anything, we could call him directly. And then, from my son's end, since he has started a new job, the driver didn’t want him to leave work so he came and got my son and then brought him back. It worked out and he couldn’t have been more gracious.

Ship a Car Direct did a good job at communicating with me. When I had them transport my Volkswagen due to a move, I wasn’t left out in the dark about anything. My interactions with them were mostly done through email. Between the service, communication was big. It's the first time I shipped a car. So, you get a little bit worried. Scott coordinated everything and the car was picked up at a location of my choosing (near a strip mall in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota) and delivered directly to me in Kingston, New York. I imagine transporting a car to upstate New York isn't the easiest thing to make happen, especially in February, but Scott took care of everything.

Kosta was my agent with Ship a Car Direct. He was always helpful and didn’t mind me calling for an update even though he would contact me when he heard anything. The contract took longer to fill than either one of us thought it would but Kosta kept on it and even lower his commission to give more incentive for a carrier to pick it up. I would highly recommend Ship a Car Direct. If you’re lucky enough to get Kosta, that would be a bonus.

I lived in Arizona and I was spending four months back East, so I shipped my car out with Ship a Car Direct and have it here. They said they vetted the actual shippers rather than just getting anybody and everybody was wonderful. The phone calls were answered and the instruction that they have with the email after it was signed up was great. It was really impressive. The final price ended up being $50 more but before they actually booked it, they checked with me and made sure that I was okay with it. And the other thing why I went with them is because they had a lot of solid reviews that would let me know how it was going to work. The customer service team at Ship a Car Direct were knowledgeable. My expectations were met for what I was told. It's a good company. They only use top-of-the-line drivers so they're not just going to get anybody to go get your car. Their rep even assured me of that. Like, "We only go with the best drivers." Their driver was very professional. He texted me, "I'm close. I should be there in eight hours." And he kept up with me and we worked together on getting the car dropped off. He let me know what was going on and when he would be there so I was able to arrange for my mom to take the car.

I needed my Toyota Camry transferred home from San Francisco to New York. Ship a Car had better reviews on the internet and their customer service reps were good. They provided me lot of information and they were helpful. I asked the one I called about how long my shipping was going to take, and he told me seven days but my car arrived in six. Also, the quote price was the same as far as what I paid at the end, though it was still too much. The driver was familiar with the place where I needed my car at, and he told me where to pick it up. The car was a bit dirty, but it was all good. They did a great job.

It looks like the reality was it wasn’t so much the backend shipper but the people who actually handle the car that they contract with that were either good or bad. So, I asked Ship a Car Direct if they had a bad experience with one of the actual shippers, which they stated, no. I realized that you could have a bad contractor that will bring down the rating.

I bought a car and didn't want to drive it back through the snow. I was considering Ship a Car Direct and one other company but I had a question and the woman I was dealing with from Ship a Car was quick to respond to either emails or phone calls. The quote was also good because my service was there when I was up there buying the car and they were quick to respond on when the transport company was going to be there. The distance was about from Chicago to Atlanta and we started on a Saturday and they got it to me Sunday afternoon. They were great.

After going through the whole process a week later after even calling to confirm with the main office... Scott their rep and the actual shipper they dispatched... When I called the driver a day before they didn't even know about the car. The company is incompetent and very hard to reach. In fact I could not get any help from my rep. They left me in very bad situation. Also LIED. Said could not dispatch over the weekend. I called another company and they dispatch 24/7. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY. P.S. When I told the shipper about BBB complaint and Yelp etc... They said, "Go ahead. Won't make a difference." I have the text. Terrible company with terrible customer service. Don't fall for it.

I was looking online for auto transport companies and after reading the reviews, I went with Ship a Car Direct. They were upfront and gave me an average quote. I had them transport my 2012 Honda Crosstour and they kept me on top of things. I also met their driver at the pickup and drop off. I was in communication with him and when he arrived, there was a little bit of dirt on the car but that was 2,200 miles worth. Other than that, everything went pretty much the way they said it would go.

I like Ship a Car Direct's website, and I got a good fast turnaround on the questions I was asking them. They had the right answer and also a good price. It was a better quote than I had gotten from a couple of other places by about 150 bucks. When I talked to the rep, he sent me a quote on the internet and he explained everything that needed to be done and how it would work. I told him that as soon as I close on the car, I'll call him back which I did. And then he set it up and I had a couple of days delay because it's a car that I didn't need, so I was pretty flexible. Five days went by before we finally got somebody to pick it up. They sent me an email telling me that they were still working on it and about 48 hours later, I got a call saying they had it all hooked up and ready to go.

We moved back from living abroad and we needed to move my son’s former car, a Prius C, from where he used to live to where we live now. The week prior, I tried to get another delivery service to help me out and they left me high and dry. My daughter-in-law had used Ship a Car Direct to move her vehicle before, so we went that route. The quote they provided was a little high, but they were able to quickly get someone to transport the vehicle. Plus the cost was very acceptable. They were very present in the beginning and then things started to happen, so I didn’t need them for anything. They were there if I needed them because there were a few questions I had, but they're hands-off. Also, I was kept informed by the driver several times the day before up to the morning of when he was there, so it worked out well. They were extremely responsive and everything was done as agreed.

I looked at the reviews for five shipping companies and most read the negative reviews to try to understand if things do go wrong and what's going to go wrong. I went with Ship a Car Direct and it was a very painless setup. The move was from Massachusetts to Illinois and there was a big snowstorm in Massachusetts on the day that we were trying to schedule the pickup, which was entirely understandable that they couldn’t come that day. But they were very good at communicating and staying with it and they were fairly tenacious until they found someone who would do the pickup. The customer service rep really knew what he was doing and he gave me just enough background explanation that I could get a sense of what was going on even while there was a little bit of a delay of a few days.

They were quick on answering my emails. Their rep gave me the details and everything was pretty smooth and quick. She said that I'll get an email that will tell me what company I'll be matched up with. And they'll tell me when the cars going to be picked up. I felt it was good.

They gave us a reasonable quote based on some other move that we had in the past, and it was very accurate in the end, too. He put me in touch with the actual trucker, and then they arranged a date. Then the guy showed up, picked up the car and then delivered it aroiund three days later.

I was very hesitant to hand my vehicle over to a company I found on the internet for a cross-country voyage (AZ to IL), but after researching the process it seemed like Ship a Car Direct was an excellent company to try out. Still, I was very skeptical but after I submitted my request for support and talked with one of their experts I became more comfortable--from start to finish they provided me an excellent experience, my car got to Illinois safe, sound, and quickly and it has been an excellent experience and quite affordable, especially when considering all the gas, food, and lodging costs of driving cross country.

Great experience dealing with the company. From start to finish, the contact person, John, stayed in touch updating me on the transportation (even during after hours and week-ends). The shipping was arranged from Bakersfield, CA to Madison, WI. It was hard to find a shipper right in the middle of Christmas/New Year's holidays - so plan far ahead and avoid long holidays :-)! The transport company "Marsh Automotive" did an excellent job taking good care of my Datsun: extra attention to loading and unloading, not driving through the streets with tree branches etc. The driver, Mark, has his own classic cars and knows how important their condition is to us, car collectors. After the initial payment, everything went fine to the pick-up and delivery of my car. I was moving from Maryland to California, and their estimate was about in the range which was shown up online on different calculators. I did the analysis and most of the websites were quoting me on that same range. After my initial request for a quote, I had a few questions about the rebate that they give if I submit an online review. I got a call from one of their customer service representatives and they explained the process and how that works. They have an application which you can download and basically take the pictures before your pickup happens and then at the delivery. So just in case there's anything happening to your car upon delivery, you have that proof handy and you can go to the claim.

We hired the services from Florida to Massachusetts, the driver name Jeff who works for JMS endeavors and was hired by Ship a Car. Lowering the car he left the door open and collided with the crane as well the car is not being able to close the door and Breaking and bending all the fender. Takes a month and does not answer calls. The insurance that has Progressive does not want to pay for that have a deductible and both companies do not respond. I don't recommend this company. USDOT number 703414 and 325294 MC. I hope you will not pass the same as my son.

It was a great delivery experience and I want to share how friendly and helpful the driver was. When he unloaded the car it would not start. It went from Southern California to a very cold Indiana. The driver stayed and helped us start it and made sure we got going safely. He did not have to stay once he unloaded, but he even got his jumper cables out and got us started.

I had a divorce and my ex-husband got the condo in California and I got the lake house in Michigan so I needed the car shipped to Michigan. Ship a Car Direct made everything very easy and simple. And my ex-husband took care of the pick up on his end. They had to meet with him. He took the car outside and gave it to them, and they brought it. And the car arrived great.
