I was moving and Ship a Car Direct was the company that called me back right away. There was a lot of communication back and forth and it was a great experience overall. I would recommend them.

Matt provided great service and kept me current with what to expect my first time around, as I was skeptical and had many questions. The second time I moved there was no question in using him. I had no worries about pick-up/drop-off/etc, I knew what to expect and they cover every concern well before picking up your vehicle. For example, I knew my car was going to be dirty from traveling in an open truck across country. I would recommend them to others and would use them again.

I moved both my pick up location and drop off location to within a few miles of the original locations and the driver was very accommodating.

Even the drivers were very nice. So, I had a good experience with Ship a Car Direct. They have excellent service and value for money. I would recommend them to everyone.

I moved to California so I needed my car shipped and found Ship a Car Direct. It’s good to know how much I’m going to pay before I get started and the quote they gave me was accurate. The customer service reps were easy to get a hold of and they were very helpful from start to finish. They have excellent service and my experience was very easy and smooth.

Their team was very courteous and professional. They warned us in advance that it's always a challenge to get carriers to pick up from our small town in upstate NY, but they did a great job of communicating with the carrier and ensuring they arrived at the right time and place to pick up the car (at a friend's house) and to deliver it (at Target Shopping Center). What's most important is that the car arrived without a scratch on it, so very satisfied overall.

We shipped our daughter's car to Las Vegas upon her relocation there. Although shipping a car is costly, the cost and hassle was far less than driving it this distance ourselves would have been. So glad I used Ship a Car Direct for transporting my Honda Odyssey from CA to SC. I decided at the last minute to keep my car and within just a few days they found me a driver. The only issue was finding a large lot to meet the driver once he got to my new town. I just moved here so was not familiar with the area. Other than that, it was all very easy.

Shipped the car, no problems. Ray the truck driver was very polite and took great care of the car. It is my daughter's first car, a new Mustang she wanted to have for college. Ray made a fuss over the car and delivered it right on time for her. Her only complaint was we had to take it to a car wash immediately, as it had gotten somewhat dusty from the trip. Imagine That. Car was delivered in time as promised! 3 years later, I needed to ship my BMW to Long Beach NY too. I looked in my cell phone for Matt. Yep, they impressed me so much that I kept their contact info to refer them.

They first quoted me $625 and then it was $1,000 in the end so I paid considerably more. The customer service representative was great and she responded every time I emailed her. I called with questions and she was able to answer it. The car carrier was also great and he was nice and professional. He was there for pickup time when he said and he stayed in touch with me. He answered my call if I called him and he arrived earlier for the delivery but it worked right. Also, the driver’s wife found things on my car that I didn’t know was there, so they are very thorough. Overall, it's the first time I had done shipping and I was a little leery about going through it but it worked out fine.

I was relocating from Seattle to Dallas for the company transfer. It’s the first time I relocated so I searched the internet, checked some of the reviews and took a chance with Ship a Car Direct. Since they deal with so many different customers, it’s initially a little difficult to get a hold of a human. It has been so hard for me to get in touch with somebody and I cannot have the information at fairly reasonable times. But they have an option to leave a voicemail and be contacted immediately via phone or via email. So, that was a very quick runaround.

I worked with a broker named Scott who answered all of my communication until it became time to pick up my car. He then never answered my many phone calls or emails. The car was never picked up, leaving me to have to drive across the country from Atlanta to Los Angeles. I then noticed that the company charged my credit card for $200 even though they provided no service to me. I never heard from Scott again. Poor and very unprofessional way to run a company. I have called to be refunded my $200 and I'm just hoping this happens without any problems but after the lack of professionalism I've experienced with this company so far, I'm worried.

Everything went very well with the transport. It surprisingly only took 5 days to transport my car across the country. The driver from the transport company called me the morning my car arrived and gave me an hour window for availability. There wasnt any damage to the car and the driver was extremely friendly. My only complaint was that the person in charge of answering the phones for the DBest Auto Transport, Raul, was kind of a jerk when I spoke to him about payment options (cash/cashiers check/credit cards/debit cards). But when I called him to get their address (so I knew who to make the cashiers check out to), he was fine. Im really glad I went through Ship A Car Direct though, Bruce was extremely helpful, stayed in contact daily and was thorough in making sure everything went as planned. I would definitely use Ship A Car Direct again.

However, my car was getting shipped on July 4th, so it ended up being $25 more because it was tough to find a car carrier then. But, overall, it was fine. Eve, the rep, was responsive and called many times to keep me aware of what was going on and she worked to make things happen for me. On the other hand, my experience with the moving company was not as good, but Eve tried to fix the issue. She quit that particular shipper and they're not going to use that shipper again. Overall, my experience has been easy and their staff has been honest and hardworking.

It took two weeks longer than it was supposed to get the car shipped out but that's because it was a busy time of the year. Overall, they gave me a satisfactory experience with moving my car.

There was some concern I've had with prior shippers where they wouldn’t come to my house and with Ship a Car, the driver said, “Oh, I just parked on the street. I had a classic car to be shipped from Minnesota and based on my judgment off of online reviews, Ship a Car Direct had a lot of good ones and comparable with everyone else. Their online quote calculator gave me a better idea of what the actual cost was going to be compared to their competitors so it helped me decide a lot too. It was comparable at $475 and was a little bit lower than some of the competitors. Also, as far as the online search engine, I have the ability to choose between an open and closed car carrier. However, the driver did not inform me that the car had been picked up so I tried to track it down. I was a little concerned not knowing where the car was since it was also a little expensive plus he spoke very little English, if any, when I used to contact him.

We recently shipped a car from San Diego to So. Florida and the Ship a Car Direct people were great to work with. Easy to reach and very responsive. They walk you through the entire process and provide helpful videos to understand each step. They also have a great App for documenting the condition of your car prior to pickup. My son’s car is a 1999 and my son is very inept in traffic driving on the highway so I chose to have the vehicle shipped through Ship a Car Direct. However, their prices kept changing. You would sit there and send something and then, later on, you get an email with a different price. I had to show them and tell them they were going to do it at that price. Also, they couldn't find anybody who was willing to come to Harlingen, Texas to get it. I had to throw out some more money as an incentive to the driver to come and get the truck. So, I wasn't happy about that.
