I had not shipped a car before, but he was very informative and he held my hand through the whole process. The driver's English was spotty, but he turned out to be quite trustworthy and reliable. We had a lot of stuff in the car that was undisturbed. He also showed up when he said he would. They're a great company.

Being able to use the price calculator without having to put in any personal information made it a little bit easier like not being able to see the whole bunch of emails and other stuff. Because a lot of times when you do that you end up getting emails from all other places and random calls. Another deciding factor was the customer service and how quick they got back to me.

I was more comfortable with them because they do car shipping and they know what they are shipping unlike other companies who arrange for a car shipper so their answers were not quite appropriate. I got a quote from Ship a Car Direct, and evidently, once you ask for a quote, everybody in the world that does this finds out about it because I had 20 calls asking if I got a car in Florida that needed to come to Virginia. As for the pricing, the top shippers were all just about the same with Ship a Car Direct. And then, there were some other ones that were $500 cheaper and something didn't sound right there. How could there be a $500 difference? So, I didn't pick the cheapest.

Ship a Car Direct is a good broker. I got them based on their reviews. Jennifer sent me a quotation and I told her that their pricing looked expensive. We compared with others and everybody else was giving it for a lot lesser price. She said she couldn't promise to bring the price down but she said she would try. Then, she came back with around $900 and I was around $700. She came up with a solution which was $800. The driver came late though. Whenever I called him he said the truck was having some problem and that he'd come the day after. After a day or two of delay, he finally came and collected my car in five minutes. I was expecting the car to come up on Friday, but it came here within three days. He handed out the car near my home. Everything else was really good. You can trust on Ship a Car Direct because they also have good talents.

After the initial payment, everything went fine to the pick-up and delivery of my car. I was moving from Maryland to California, and their estimate was about in the range which was shown up online on different calculators. I did the analysis and most of the websites were quoting me on that same range. After my initial request for a quote, I had a few questions about the rebate that they give if I submit an online review. I got a call from one of their customer service representatives and they explained the process and how that works. They have an application which you can download and basically take the pictures before your pickup happens and then at the delivery. So just in case there's anything happening to your car upon delivery, you have that proof handy and you can go to the claim.

We hired the services from Florida to Massachusetts, the driver name Jeff who works for JMS endeavors and was hired by Ship a Car. Lowering the car he left the door open and collided with the crane as well the car is not being able to close the door and Breaking and bending all the fender. Takes a month and does not answer calls. The insurance that has Progressive does not want to pay for that have a deductible and both companies do not respond. I don't recommend this company. USDOT number 703414 and 325294 MC. I hope you will not pass the same as my son.

It was a great delivery experience and I want to share how friendly and helpful the driver was. When he unloaded the car it would not start. It went from Southern California to a very cold Indiana. The driver stayed and helped us start it and made sure we got going safely. He did not have to stay once he unloaded, but he even got his jumper cables out and got us started.

Ship a Car Direct is a cheap and quick way to get your car across country. It was cheaper than driving and getting a hotel. The transport took about two days and my car arrived undamaged. The carriers were from Mongolia and they didn't speak a whole lot of English but they were nice.

The driver still came to the back-gate which he can’t get into. But he had my number and he called me, so I took the car out there and we loaded it in for the pack.

Do not use this company. Their carrier are unreliable wasting your time for pickup time that it might never happens. So look somewhere else if you are planning to ship your car. Communicating with them is almost impossible to get the right answer.

There were multiple emails and phone conversations with the reps but the surprising thing for me was they didn't give me an exact date and there was a very big window on when they would ship the car. But it all worked out. I had just one interaction with the driver on the day of delivery but the second time we used them we had multiple conversations with him and the delivery was much later that he had stated he was going to be there. Instead of being there at noon on one day he showed up at 5:00 PM the next day so we had to change our pickup schedule. So if you are considering to use them carefully make sure you have a week for the pick up and a week for the delivery. But overall their service has been adequate.

I used their online quote calculator and it started me out with a number and then it changed a little by time things ended up because of the timing I needed. The quote was a little more than what I ended up paying and it was great. Customer service was all very responsive so it made me feel like I was taken care of, from the guy who picked up the car to the guy who dropped it off. They were all like real human beings who were very friendly. They provided excellent service and I'd use them again.

I was very satisfied with Ship a Car Direct. They arranged for pickup and delivery of my car from Florida to North Carolina. It was picked up and delivered on time with no damage. Also the price they quoted me was the price I paid. I would recommend them to a friend or family member and if I need to transport a car again I would use them again.

I communicated with their rep by email and by phone and he's very responsive. He's very knowledgeable because he told me what to expect and he's pretty accurate about the timeline. The driver who picked up the car was very courteous and helpful. When he delivered the car, he called ahead of time. From pickup to drop off, it took about five days. The whole process was very easy.

I strictly relied on that since I had no recommendations and it was my first time shipping a car. I called them and spoke with Scott, who was excellent. He responded to my e-mails promptly and when I called his phone number, he picked up the phone. He then walked me through the process and how it works. I then placed my order over the computer with a credit card. When I got assigned a carrier, which was Safari, Scott provided me with their direct dial number as well as the numbers of the two drivers who were with my daughter's car. It put me at ease since I could be in touch with them and ask them how much further away they were.

We were checking online for customer reviews and then we phoned up Ship a Car Direct. The person I talked to pretty much explained the whole process and he was very friendly. The driver was delayed because he got a flat tire about 20 miles from our house, and since we had to be somewhere and he was going to be about an hour late, he met me somewhere else so I could pick the car up closer to where we were. He was very flexible on that and communicated well so it was a good experience. The process took about four days from the first time I called until the delivery. They kept me up to date when they were searching for a transporter, once they found the transporter, and when the transporter would be contacting me. The transport went very well; it turned out the company uses an enclosed truck, which I hadn't even ordered. The price quoted was the price charged -- no changes or add-ons. The car arrived in perfect condition. All in all, a great experience.

However, the carrier driver wasn’t very pleasant but right before he delivered the car, he called where we should meet and then when he picked up the vehicle. The time it took from pick up to delivery was about a week and the move was about 3,000 miles.
