This was through the Ship a Car Direct app, where I was asked to take the snapshots before the week it was taken and after the vehicle was dropped.

The quote was average and in line with most of the other quotes. The vehicle was picked on a Monday and we got it the following Sunday. The expected timeframe was five days, but it turned out to be eight days. The driver had to pick up cars at a couple of other places. The trailer wasn’t full when he came to pick up my car, he only had one other car on it. But my car was in excellent condition when it arrived.

The rep that helped me was good and the communication is very straightforward and clear. Also, the quote they gave me was quite accurate and there were no additional fees. When they picked up my car from Seattle, that location wasn't convenient for me, but overall, it was good. The transport took two days. When the vehicle was to be dropped off, 30 minutes to go I got a call before they delivered to the place I wanted and that was a plenty of time so I could be there on time. The vehicle was in the same condition as I had it in Seattle, so I'm satisfied. I would recommend them.

Ship a Car Direct gave a lot of good advice on their website and they talked us through a lot of things. Their reps were fantastic and gave a ton of information so that I knew every step. The quote we received was good. It was lower than any of the others, but I would have paid a little bit more because of the advice they gave and the fact that they were rated very well in Better Business Bureau. Plus, we made $40 back on a rebate. Thereafter, it took three days to ship our personal vehicle down from Washington State to California. They picked it up just before I left for the 27th and they dropped it off on the 5th. They brought it exactly the time that I needed it. The driver was lovely and walked me through the process when he picked the vehicle up and delivered it. It was dirty because it had been on the road, but everything else is perfect. All in all, the experience was great and easy. I'd recommend this company.

Over 900 miles from FL to Northern VA outside of Washington DC. No surprises, no hassles and no damages! Very much appreciated the communication throughout the process, including text messages when the driver was 100 miles away on both ends to ensure timely handoffs. With half a dozen different transport companies I looked at, Ship a Car had good reviews. We had them ship our Toyota Camry. Everything went really well with their reps. Their knowledge and expertise were good and their quote was accurate. During the delivery, the driver called 20 minutes before and we had to meet them at another location. Ship a Car did a good job.

Ship A Car Direct has a good website among the five transport companies I looked. The layout is so upfront and there are no surprises. The quote they gave me was not the lowest but it was on the lower end so I was very happy with it. It was spot on with the final cost of service. However, the transport caused a little mix-up at the beginning. My husband called them and it got waylaid so I called them. Then, I asked them if we can have the car quickly and I was told that they can have me tomorrow or Monday. I told them that I have to get the hard tap on the car so I can do Monday. It took less than a week to transport the car from the Boston area down to Charleston where my husband is. I could not believe it. Also, the car arrived in perfect condition.

He said, "That's ridiculous! They should just put your car out for another bid." And that was what Ship a Car Direct did. My car was finally got picked up on Wednesday and we got it on Thursday night. Scott was great but Ship a Car Direct fell through the process.
