We needed to transport a vehicle about 1,800 miles as we have two different homes and we go back and forth every year. Ship a Car Direct set up the transport and made all the arrangements before anybody else did. They also got back to us online on the quote which ended up exactly the same as the final price. When the vehicle was delivered, a friend picked it up as we were on a trip and the driver delivered it right to our driveway. It arrived in perfect condition.

Ship a Car Direct was moderately priced and had the fastest delivery date when I had to ship my four-door Dodge Dart from Florida to Washington State. I got a price range online and customer service emailed me the final quote. I got a quote that was not too much from the low end. There was a $300 difference from low to high and it closer to the lower side. When I put my quote in, they called me fast. I’ve never shipped a vehicle before, so they let me know how the process would go. While my car was shipped and leading up to it, they were always emailing me, letting me know tips and tricks, asking if there was something I was concerned about, and how to handle it. They were pretty professional in that aspect.

The first time I used this business, it went off without a hitch. So, I figured it was safe to use them again. I was wrong. While they were nice when I first started out, the lack of communication was ridiculous. Seems like no one could tell me when or where my car was after the driver's truck broke down. I had to do the legwork to find out where the car was, not Ship a Car Direct. I contacted the company, and they gave me the owner of the company's cell phone to call to find out. Why did I have to do this, and not them? What exactly was I paying for? After reaching out to Ship a Car multiple times and getting several pushed back dates (and never getting updates once again, I had to reach out to them to find out), they gave me another date that was a Saturday. This was after they had allegedly talked to the driver with an arrival date.

The whole shipping process with AmeriFreight went smooth. I had to move from the East Coast to the West Coast. I looked into 5 different companies before Ship a Car Direct. Ship a Car's price was midrange and they have good reviews. They were reliable. The carrier drivers called and were able to deliver the vehicle in a timeline that I provided, so I thought that was great as well.

This was a smooth and easy process. Car was picked up and delivered on time - everything was very professional. There was constant communication occurring before during and after delivery. I would highly recommend using Ship a Car Direct!

I'm moving and I needed to ship my Honda CRV from the East Coast to the West Coast, which is extremely far. I looked at two companies and Ship a Car Direct's reputation seems to be good. Their quote was definitely not the lowest of price that I can get from the market, but I wanted the transportation to be smooth, so their service looks okay. If you don't mind to pay about $100 more than other companies, go ahead and use them too. The transport was fast and the delivery went well. The driver called and scheduled a time with me before they arrived and they arrived on time. I also called their customer service several times. They were always there answering the phone call. I'm satisfied.

For my Boston to Tucson move, the pick-up date was only 1 day late and the return date was a whopping 3 days early! Would highly recommend. Almost everything about the experience as advertised in others' reviews was completely accurate. The ease of having the car picked up (including the accommodation I needed for my flight out of town) and having it returned without a scratch was outstanding. The frequent e-mail updates from the company are helpful. The only minor complaint is that you receive information from someone who seems to be a company employee until the deposit is taken, after which you are routed to call center staff (who are not very helpful).

Ship a Car Direct has a video that describes their whole process which really made me go to them, and then I read that they have bonds. I also corresponded with one of their reps and he was very patient, professional and answered a lot of my questions.

I was very satisfied with my experience transporting my Honda Civic with Ship a Car Direct. I moved from New Jersey to Texas and used Ship a Car Direct after looking at around 5 companies' reviews online. Also, a friend recommended them. Working with their organizer was pleasant and was lightweight. She took the information and then sent me the form to fill out online. I filled out the form, submitted the order and made the payment online. And though in the end the cost of the service was about $30 up and down compared to the quote, still, Ship a Car Direct gave me a fairly accurate quote. My car was delivered a day earlier than what they gave me and the driver called me about 45 minutes prior to arriving.
