I used Ship A Car Direct to move my car from California to DC and was very pleased with the experience. They offered the best price, communicated with me throughout the process, and my car was transported quickly and without any issues.

The services that was provided to me regarding having my car transported from one state to another was amazing. The customer service representatives are there to assist you in every way. All departments reaches out to you once your drive is assigned; therefore, you do not have to call around for specified department.

I've had a bad experience in the past using another shipper but I've found a great replacement. Stefan was on point and with the easy to use online ordering process made for some 5 star service. Within 30 minutes I had my car booked for next day pickup with a 7 day estimate for a cross country delivery which ended up being only 5!!!! They offer an app for reporting damage but wasn't necessary at all. The guys at AG were professional and delivered without incident. I highly recommend this service!!!!

I had great customer service starting with Matt who set up my delivery with the carrier. As far as pickup, I was given advance notice that enabled me to meet the carrier in a parking lot a few miles from my home since access wasn't good at my home being that my street is narrow. The car was delivered on time in perfect condition going from a suburb of Pgh., Pa. to Las Vegas, NV. It was easy, and I experienced no problems.

I contacted Ship A Car Direct in March, knowing I had my car delivered last season, they came through for me when the initial broker failed me. Stefan kept in touch with me and was able to get a transporter on one of the three requested dates for pick up. Was very happy with the service and would recommend them.

Horrible experience with these guys. Lack of communication on their part cost me money. Avoid if you can, very unprofessional and they overcharge comparing to the competition. You let these guys transport your car, you will find yourself constantly calling them to get information. They will tell you one thing on the phone and when all is finally done you get something else and a bunch of excuses from their side.

It was a great experience all the way from initial order to completion and delivery of vehicle. The driver loaded the car in 15 mins and delivered it early. He was updating us on ongoing basis so there was no question on status. Really easy and convenient.

Arrangements were easy and straight forward. Pickup on time, quick but thorough. Delivery was 3 days early and the car was in perfect condition. The representative we dealt with was rude and obnoxious. We, consequently, took our business elsewhere to which we still received an unprofessional text message. It was disappointing and uncalled for and certainly not deserved. Additionally, he was unable to find a carrier (after 3 business days) and when we switched the alternative found a carrier for us in two hours with no nastiness.

I was in a bind and needed our car shipped quickly. The entire team was very responsive to my needs. Car was picked up the second day after my first phone call and delivered three days later to New England from Florida. When I moved from NC to CA in May, I had to look for an auto transport company to ship my 2015 Lexus from the east coast to the west coast. I worked with Stefan at Ship A Car Direct to have a car shipped from NJ to TX. Initially there was a lot of great communication with Stefan, and I knew just what to expect. However, it seemed like there was a big communication breakdown with the transport company. Some of this occurred when the driver came to pick up the car. He seemed to have no idea that the car could not be dropped off in Texas until Friday... My son wouldn't arrive in Texas until late Thursday afternoon. This was a problem for the driver who noted that he would be heading back east on Friday. We agreed that when my son arrived in Texas on Thursday PM, he would call the driver and they would meet up at the residence where he was staying.

We shipped our Honda Odyssey from Durham, NC to Tucson, AZ in May. We worked with Rita to get the pickup set, and she was extremely helpful. The communication from start to finish was excellent. The shining star of our experience was the actual driver. He could not get into into our development, and he worked with us, patiently to make an alternate pick up spot. He was so professional and very kind. Safety and security was most certainly his top priority, which gave us great peace of mind. The van was in Tucson within four days of pick up. The driver communicated with our son for the pickup and the delivery was as seamless as the pickup. I truly cannot say enough great things about our experience from start to finish, and most certainly, the driver!!! Money well spent!

Shipping to Florida works well with Ship A Car Direct - We have used the service twice, and both times the carriers were prompt and delivered our car with no problems at all. The big advantage for us, compared to working directly with a local carrier, is that we don't have to plan our shipping date months in advance to get a slot. I had a very positive experience with Ship A Car Direct. I had no experience with such a service and was a bit overwhelmed when I started researching options. An acquaintance recommended Ship A Car Direct and when I checked their Better Business Bureau reviews I was sold. My rep, Scott, was accessible and responsive whenever I asked for an update or progress report. My vehicle was picked up on time and delivered early! It did take a week from my placing the order to receiving a carrier but I was flexible with my timeline so that was not impactful to me. The final delivery cost was a bit higher than the original estimate but again, based on the service I received and the research I did, I was not concerned. I did have the chance to reject the higher rate if I wanted to and wait for another carrier but I was comfortable moving forward. I highly recommend Ship A Car Direct and will use them again if needed.

I have never shipped a car before on my own. I have also never had a relatively expensive "classic" car that needed shipping. Needless to say I was not exactly sure where to turn to. After getting a few recommendations from locals and doing some research online myself, I landed on the Ship a Car Direct website. The site itself is extremely well presented and very educational for anyone that has not shipped before, so I reached out to John. I received almost immediate response from him, including a direct phone call. When one is turning over a loved vehicle to a stranger for care, the most important thing to reassure someone is the communication.

I had two cars in another state that had to go to two different states and I went straight to Ship a Car Direct for that because they had moved a car for me before. One of the cars was transported in an enclosed carrier and it came here to St. Louis. The driver was helpful and knowledgeable. He took care of the car and it arrived in the exact shape that it went in. The second car was in an external carrier, which was unenclosed, and it went to Washington State. This carrier's driver was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and I prefer him over the other as he was friendlier. But I was happy with both companies. Ship a Car's reps were friendly, helpful and informative as well. I would use them again.

I was very hesitant to ship my car across country but a blizzard and the costs of driving out weighed my hesitation. Their broker was good. I felt the quote was a little high, but in the comparisons, it wasn’t all that off. Moreover, it didn't change during the final payout. I also was able to pay via credit card. The carrier was good too. The guys came when they promised to come. I was kept apprised of where they were at all times. I found them to be very professional. My neighbor, who was here to receive the vehicle, said that the driver called him about 45 minutes before the driver arrived. The vehicle arrived in the same condition as it was.

I was moving a vehicle from Arizona to Washington and there was a company that I have always used. I made a reservation back in January for the delivery to take place in March 12 but the company that I had made the arrangements with never showed up to pick up the car. I called them to find out what was happening but that was hours of being on hold and waiting to get somebody on the line. That was a Wednesday and I had to get the car out by Friday. I called Ship a Car Direct and they jumped right on it and were able to get me fixed up. They handled the situation brilliantly and it was great. They did everything right and were there.

I shipped my Subaru Outback about 1400 miles through Ship a Car Direct. I like that they were responsive when we called. They had a good website too that was easy to follow. I worked with a young lady over there and she had excellent follow through. When my wife set it up and when she had a question, Ship a Car Direct would call her right back. We got an estimate online and they refined it. Still, in the end, the cost was the same. The service was great and it was only $250 more than if I had driven the car myself. It was good value.

With Ship A Car Direct, I could get a quote online without having to talk to anybody. The quote that I was given was good enough and it was 100% the same as the final cost of service. My experience with Ship a Car Direct was absolutely easy. Coming up with a carrier was done fairly quickly. We were on a tight, short, running time, and everything happened exactly as they said it would. The quotes that I got were definitely within range as well. However, I would love to be able to have contact directly with the driver because I was having to go back and forth, off-hours, from a long-distance with their dispatch service. We ran into some different timeframes because the driver got held up at an auction picking up some cars. It was a little difficult going back and forth through the dispatch. I used Ship a Car Direct and I had a good experience with their representatives. They got me set up with someone to transport the car, and my body shop ended up getting delayed. The van wasn’t ready when they thought it was going to be, and we were able to adjust for that without any problems. And while I paid 100 more than the original quote, the delivery was good. The truck driver was communicating with me and got the car to me the day before it was promised. It was really late the night that they picked it up, but they were earlier than I expected. So, that was good.

I was gonna be on the west coast and I wanted to move a vehicle for 2,500 miles. I looked into 2 companies and base on their customer service, I decided to employ the services of Ship A Car Direct. They were super responsive, honest and just seemed like the right people to go with. We raised the quote because they believe that I could pinpoint my pick up time and actually get it done on a Saturday to minimize the inconvenience for my wife. Sure enough, we only raised it a little bit, it got grabbed immediately and we got everything done like we wanted to. The vehicle was in perfect condition, not one mile extra on it.

Since I hadn’t used transport before, they sounded like they’ve been at it and they knew what they were doing, so I went with them. The interactions that I had with the people that I initially spoke with were super. The guy that I talked to was Matt, then some other people came in as the process went on and I had more people standing by if I needed help or something went wrong. They followed through the whole way. I was not alone in it.

There was a different level of customer service and experience that I’ve not had with other companies. I would use them again as well as refer them to family and friends. I shipped a car with them before and it was a very convenient and fast process. That made me use them again. The driver was very professional and the service was quick. But, on pick-up, I didn't get notification of the carrier one day before the carrier actually came. The carrier came the night before the first day of my window. They only told me a day before they were coming, which was pretty short notice. Then, two hours before they showed up, they said that they were there. It was a slight inconvenience and there was a lot of rush on my part, but it wasn't anything detrimental. Plus, the quote, which did not change through the process, was very reasonable. I've been amazed by how convenient this company has been.

I was able to reach everyone and the experience was very seamless. It was just a few days to get it set up and then, the pickup to delivery was three weeks. I had a very flexible schedule. It was a little bit past the timeframe that they had given me, but I wasn't under any pressure to have the car right away, so it worked okay for me. I was in contact with the driver when he was hitting some weather issues. I was aware that the deadline was going to be extended for when I was receiving my car. So, he was in constant communication through either voice calls or texting or both. The delivery was easy and I was able to meet the driver and get it in my hands within 10 minutes. After that, we went to inspect the car. All went well and I would use Ship a Car Direct again if I had to.

We had such a bad experience with a different company before that she just seemed very trustworthy and organized. She explained the whole process to me. She explained that it would take two weeks. That I wouldn't be charged anything until the company was locked down as far as who is gonna ship the car. Then, we only paid the fee for them and that we wouldn't pay for the whole car delivery until we actually received the car.

The UI for Ship A Car’s website was a little bit confusing but the final cost was very reasonable. I ended up paying 1675 and I got a discount of $30. There were a bunch of companies that quoted me a much lower cost but for peace of mind, I’d rather pay a little bit more just to know that the car won’t be damaged.

When we moved up here, I didn’t wanna drive my car so I opted for a transport service. I looked at about five companies then went with Ship a Car Direct since they were responsive to my request and were able to line up an appropriate carrier to get the car moved within the timeframe that I was looking it moved. I didn’t see how they could make it happen that fast but they got it done within the timeframe that the rep said it could be done. The rep was excellent and she followed the process all the way through. I had a couple of questions along the way and she was always available to talk to me and get my questions answered.

Ship A Car Direct was advertised that they were a part of Better Business Bureau. They also had a lot of help videos and I liked the price, so that made me go with them. The person I was working with didn't make me feel pressured. The driver was very pleasant and he didn't make me feel like I was being rushed. The vehicle arrived dirty, but that was expected. The quote changed a little bit but I was told about it. It was still reasonable compared to others. If I have to ship another car, I would definitely go with them. People need to go with them because I had a very good experience with them.

I contacted the shipper about two weeks before I wanted the vehicle shipped. We set up a delivery for two specific places but when those places didn’t work out, the shipper we were working with was able to find somewhere even more convenient and closer to my home to pick up the car. The transport took three days from beginning to end. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I talked to Ship a Car about that and they said that those were just estimates. In the past, they weren’t estimates when I used them on other cars. When they gave me a quote, that was the quote. It was only $25 more but still, it was the first time I’ve had that experience where I had to agree to a slightly higher price once I locked in to them.

But I looked at reviews, I looked at the BBB, and Ship a Car Direct looked legit.

Driver kept him waiting for 2 days, and hours at a time. Sad story about driver having troubles. Well 2 days late car is picked up. Driver missed first delivery day, no call. Second delivery day, I call, he is on his way. 3rd delivery day, car trouble, see you in 2 or 3 days. Now not calling me, company assured me I'd get my car by 1pm on 2/19/19. Nope, now 6:40pm no word from driver (again), no call from Shipacardirect.com. Will try to file a police report in the morning, but have no real driver info to complete report. Sound like a nightmare? It is. "pre-screened"? You wish!

She was very knowledgeable about everything happening in the process. It was very easy to understand what was going to happen and it worked exactly as she had told me. The total transport was 500 miles. I got an accurate quote and it was very fast. The total transport took two days. The transport company called me the day before and let me know that they would be arriving at a certain time, and we just confirmed the drop off location. When he was about an hour away from arriving, he called me again and let me know he was going to be there. I met him and he unloaded the car from the trailer, and I paid him for the remainder of the cost. Then I signed some confirmation document that he had delivered it. The vehicle was in great condition when I got it.

I found the representatives to be professional, helpful and friendly. Felt much more like a normal store transaction than what dealing with brokers can be. Loved that they didn’t ask for nor sold my information to a thousand brokers. The inspection app was helpful and organized the inspection pictures and information much nicer than I could have. The actual carrier got the job done ahead of schedule!

First, they told me to schedule a week or two before I wanted the car shipped. It made the price significantly higher. Next, the carrier they assigned me, Gigi Lines, was terrible. Poor communication. Driver said he’d pick up the car at noon on Tuesday. I arranged for someone to be there until 2:30 pm. Driver texts at 11:45 changing the time to between 2 and 4. So while I’m trying to get out the door to the airport, I’m also scrambling to find someone to be available to give them the car. Driver finally showed up around 5 pm. And then they send me an email soliciting a review, but if you indicate you are unhappy you aren’t given the opportunity to write a review.
