Ship a Car Direct had good reviews, and I’ve talked to them quite a bit and they seemed they could take care of my wife's 1998 Porsche Boxster. Also, they seemed to have a relationship with the people that they contracted. That was contrary to what some other people do. It seemed like they had some reputable companies that they use for transport, and it turned out to be true. The carrier driver called us everyday, and the transport took three and a half days. The car got there early and its condition was fine.

We purchased a used 2017 Mercedes from a dealer in California and we needed it shipped to Spokane, Washington. My husband looked at two different companies and we ended up going with Ship a Car Direct. We had a friend that used them before who recommended them to us and said he had good service from them. We got a general price range for the transport and the quote that we got was reasonable. It was higher than the other guys so we would have liked it if it was a little lower. But considering that the car came in very good condition, we’re happy with it.

I moved from California to Tulsa and I used Ship a Car Direct's service for the ease of getting a quote, accessing the quote, as well as the fact that they did not engage in high-pressure sales. I've also looked at 3 other companies where one guy provided a quote in writing, one didn’t provide a quote in writing at all, and another one delayed in providing a good quote. And all those 3 were high-pressure sales.

I looked at approximately 10 companies but I went with Ship a Car Direct due to their price, how fast they responded and how good they could answer the questions. I directly called them, and then it was David who picked up my call about a quote. Then later I kept receiving emails from Ship a Car Direct regarding tips that I should pay attention to when deciding which company to go to and things to pay attention to while transporting my car. So, later I investigated a couple of companies and decided to go with them, and the entire process was smooth. I paid a small deposit, and then they reached out to me regarding which carrier they were gonna assign me to, and everything was on schedule, so it went well. Also, I paid the same amount as the quote that they gave me.

I was very happy with my experience with Ship a Car Direct. I had good interactions with the people that I spoke with. I was moving the car to my son, and they picked it up on Tuesday, and it was there by Saturday. It was within the expected timeframe.

Excellent service, was very helpful and kept in touch throughout the process... I had a specific day that I was going to be at my destination and they were very accommodating. I will use them again when needed.

I've used Ship a Car Direct previously to ship my car from the East Coast to the West Coast when I moved five years ago. Then when I was moving from the West Coast to the East Coast, I used them again. It’s a good service to use if you need to get your car from one place to the other, and you need it to be done consistently. The process seemed to be fine. They gave me a quote then I signed some forms and paid upfront, and then they took care of it.

Company was very professional. Even though the first transporter canceled, they secured another transporter in less than a day. Vehicle arrived in excellent condition. Driver communication was good and was able to pick up the car with no hassle.

We had a great experience with Ship a Car Direct, getting our newly purchased SUV from Wisconsin to Georgia. Scott was great, handle all of our questions when I called and emailed. It was a great comfort to us, since we had not shipped a vehicle before. Our car arrived in perfect condition, the driver Michael was very nice as well, keeping us updated all along the way. From placing the order to getting our car took a total of just 4 days! All we can say is wow, great job!

I purchased a car out of state and needed it shipped. Ship a Car Direct had a good rating and a lot of people rated them. Their price was also competitive with everybody else. I figured that if they had enough positive reviews, they are probably a reliable company. I asked for a quote then I searched around and it was coming in line with other shipping options. A rep called me in getting things set up. I put in a date too early so there was an issue where they were gonna pick the car up before the paperwork was processed, and that was my fault. But I called them and they were able to reschedule things.

I read the reviews on Better Business Bureau that I assumed was an official website to keep track of all the good reviews. Ship a Car has a good grade there, so I went with that. I had different people approach me for different parts of the whole shipping process. I had another person contact me to let me know to take the pictures of the car for insurance purposes.

Pick up on time. There is always somebody to reach out to and get updates about the shipping or the status of my car which is one of the most important aspects for me and my wife. The driver was efficient and stayed in touch. The delivery was earlier than expected, and the car arrived in great condition. Excellent service overall.

Overall I had a great experience with Ship a car direct and their carrier Companion Auto Transport. They were excellent communicators and did a great job of setting realistic expectations ahead of time. They have videos you can watch to explain the process. I highly recommend them.

Interacting with their customer service rep was good and they shared the driver information with me. The driver was in contact with me all the way when needed. He was honest and he was able to let me know all the things beforehand such as what the process was gonna be, and he did exactly what he said.

Best shipping experience I've had yet! I've shipped 6 cars over the past several years and all have been nightmares with overpromising, underdelivering with the exception of this most recent with Ship a Car Direct. Matt was friendly and honest and they got my vehicle to me from 2000 miles away in 8 days when I was expecting 2-3 weeks. I have found my shipping company for life!

I was happy. The driver called me and told me he would be here around 5:00 pm, but around 4:00, he called me and said sorry and told me that he would be late. He would come around 7:00. At 7:00, he called me and said he’s at the address. I got my car in good condition, too.

The Ship-A-Car Direct team provided very good communications from initial contact to follow-up. Hooked me up with an enclosed car carrier, who also agreed to carry spares that came with the car, including 5 spare tires/wheels. I knew where the car was at all times. Had an nice phone app that took and organized a set of before and after transport pictures.

The quote they gave me remained the same until the final pay off and everything went fine.

Even though cost matters, I chose to go with them because of that. Even though the transport went smoothly, my company was satisfied, nothing was damaged and I was happy, there was a bit of concern that I had making me feel like maybe they weren't the 5-star quality place that they advertised. Firstly, I tried asking someone to communicate with the driver to make sure that they could get in touch with my contact at the pick-up location, and she told me that the driver didn't speak English. I found that to be a communication frustration.

They answered every question immediately even regarding the person who was going to be trailing the car to California. They also called to make sure everything was fine.

The whole shipping process was easy and painless. At first, I was called multiple times and given different opportunities through different companies to have my car picked up. I picked the one that worked best for my time schedule and the next day, I had my car picked up and shipped. It was a straightforward process. I also had great interactions with the carrier driver. My area, in which the car was being delivered, did not have enough space for the car to be delivered so we set up a location that was right down the street. I paid $50 more than what I was initially quoted, but that wasn't a problem since it was still within my budget.

The transport of our daughter's vehicles was not only easy yet affordable than other companies we looked into. All those who handled our order from beginning to end was not only courteous yet responsive. I would recommend using them!

Jennifer, the rep from Ship a Car Direct, had excellent communication skills. She kept me informed and she kept calling and making sure everything was okay. She followed up on everything she said she was gonna follow-up on, and she did a nice job. Compared to the other customer service reps I talked to, she was right on the ball. The quote I got was not the lowest, but it was okay. The delivery was good and the driver was very courteous. He took his time lowering the car down on the ramps. He had a low front end so he had to put some blocks of wood under to make sure it didn’t hit the ground, so he did a good job.

He called me before he arrived to let me know he’d be here. And he was here within a certain amount of time. He allowed me to take a look but he did not rush me to inspect the vehicle. It was all very good, then I signed the paperwork. The vehicle arrived on time and in good condition so I'm satisfied.
