I was moving from California back home to Connecticut and I had to transport a 2011 Hyundai Sonata as well as a 2013 Nissan Altima. I have used Ship a Car Direct before when I moved to California and the transport went great. The guy who picked up the car, as well as the one who dropped it off was super nice. But this time, I was helped out by Scott and he helped me the entire way through. He gave me his phone number and helped me even when I didn't set it up yet. I blew up the guy’s phone, calling him all the time and he always answered it. If not, he'd give me a quick call back and was never annoyed with me even though I have a million questions.

I got a new job so I had to relocate. I did a Google search and looked at some of the different options for organizers and saw good reviews for Ship a Car Direct. I went with them and found that they had great reps who were really helpful. They got the ball rolling quickly when I sent them an email that I was interested. It worked out really well and they did a good job. Shipping the car was way easier than shipping my stuff. It was easier to get it all done with through emails and text and they got everything. Everything was on time and it went well.

I have used this shipping service twice - shipping my car from Boston to Phoenix and shipping the same car back from Richardson Tx to Boston. Both cases, the quotes and the whole process is very reasonable. The driver went extra to arrange the pickup and delivery. The schedule is on time. The price is reasonable as well.

We moved from Texas to California and of the transport companies that I looked at before, Ship A Car Direct was the third. We went with them primarily because of the cost. The quote they provided was better than any of the others. Also, they were like a third party company that would handle everything. Their customer service rep stayed in contact on the phone so they were able to text us and tell us we were able to change locations of where we were gonna drop off our car. When they got out here, they texted us again to meet me somewhere. The driver was very helpful and polite. He was also accommodating. Overall, the service we received was better than any of the others. It was of very good quality for the cost. And when the car arrived at our location, it was just as I had left it.

He got me a driver named Larry. He was a very nice guy. He picked up my car and took it up here in Littleton, Colorado along with five other cars. They got here in three days and it was a quick and painless process. Overall, it was a good experience.

They explained the whole process of having an open versus a closed trailer, and I wanted a closed trailer. They also explained how difficult it was to find a closed trailer plus the fact that I was asking for it the week after the Christmas, New Year holiday, when the drivers were coming back from vacation. I told them I was patient and I would wait. Eventually, they found one. After a 2-day transport, the shipper came to my home to deliver the car and the man just drove it up the door and unloaded it. The final cost ended up to be $50 more than what I was quoted, but it was for a legitimate reason. Still, the quote was quite accurate and my car was in perfect condition when I received it.

I was moving to Arizona from Illinois and I looked around for transport companies. Ship a Car Direct has the best prices so I went with them. It was really good with the organizer. I got multiple emails explaining absolutely everything to me. It was very thorough and I knew exactly what was going on and what I was being charged for. The delivery was estimated like nine days but it came in six, so it was even sooner than I expected. Everything was good with the vehicle except that it was really dirty but they drove through snow and rain so it’s understandable and after a carwash, it was perfect.

The car was picked up the next day and got here in perfect condition 3 days later! Scott stayed in touch the whole time. These are great people to work with.

I had a job relocation and I needed a transport service that would ship from California to Georgia. I read a lot of reviews and I liked the videos that Ship A Car had. They had a lot of transparency which won me over and my trust. It was a bid and ask situation and what was initially explained to me made complete sense. So, to probably go too low, I could get it, but it would delay the transport because someone would finally grab it. And then, if someone grabs it too low, they were not really happy with the job that they got.

My father-in-law passed away and he had a car in Florida that we wanted to give to his daughter in Oregon. There was an ORG site and there was a seniors site, and both of them rated car shippers. The only name that was in the top five on either site was Ship a Car Direct that was why I chose them. I called the number and talked to a woman named Renee, who was fantastic. We were trying to get the vehicle shipped at the beginning of January, but they shut down over the holidays. We had a small window of time when it could be picked up and they solved that.

I would definitely recommend this company. Communication was extremely good from the beginning and they outlined all the steps along the way. Car arrived on time with solid communication from the driver.

The rep I worked with was very clear, articulate and was able to answer all my questions. And the quote they gave was just slightly higher than what we had discussed. They picked up my vehicle on December 22nd and they delivered it on January 9th. The driver was actually coming through earlier, like around the 1st of January. But he came through town at 2 o'clock in the morning. He was planning on dropping it off on his way, but he ended up not doing it, and instead they just stored it at their facility in Riverside until I told them that I was ready. The condition of the car looked totally fine when it was delivered.

The gentleman who handles the endeavors with me with Ship a Car Direct gave me more information than the one or two others that I talked to. They didn’t really take me through the procedure as well as the gentleman at Ship a Car Direct did. I was told, as far as the insurance is concerned, with whom you go with as far as a shipping company, what they insure your car for and all the little specifics that I really should know, and they won me over more so than anyone else.

I researched online and compared about three or four different transport companies, but the price and reviews of Ship a Car Direct led me to go with them. The one that had been highly personally referred to me turned out to be a specialty and their pricing was way higher, while another one was hard to get a quote online from. Ship a Car Direct, on the other hand, was a couple of hundred bucks less. I had a 1999 Pontiac Firebird transported from Michigan to Texas and I had a good experience with them.

I was looking for a transport service company as I was transferring my wife's car from Ohio to Portland, Oregon where I currently live. I've looked into four different companies and decided to go with Ship a Car Direct due to their prompt response, good reviews, and their overall behavior. Their rates weren't the lowest but they were good enough compared to others. Their customer service reps were good to work with. Even if they didn't receive the call, they were back within a few minutes. And although, in the end, they were a little pestering on the review like, "You have to give this review, this that, this that." I would've given it, but every day they would email back.

I found the representatives to be professional, helpful and friendly. Felt much more like a normal store transaction than what dealing with brokers can be. Loved that they didn’t ask for nor sold my information to a thousand brokers. The inspection app was helpful and organized the inspection pictures and information much nicer than I could have. The actual carrier got the job done ahead of schedule!

First, they told me to schedule a week or two before I wanted the car shipped. It made the price significantly higher. Next, the carrier they assigned me, Gigi Lines, was terrible. Poor communication. Driver said he’d pick up the car at noon on Tuesday. I arranged for someone to be there until 2:30 pm. Driver texts at 11:45 changing the time to between 2 and 4. So while I’m trying to get out the door to the airport, I’m also scrambling to find someone to be available to give them the car. Driver finally showed up around 5 pm. And then they send me an email soliciting a review, but if you indicate you are unhappy you aren’t given the opportunity to write a review.

We were going to Galway Beach in Florida from New York City and we decided this year that we did not wanna drive down ourselves. But we wanted to have our car so we had it shipped. Ship a Car Direct's price was reasonable and the person on the phone was very gracious and accommodating so I chose them. The person who was handling our order was Matt and he always seemed available. He also answered all our questions whatever they were. When we first called, we asked for advice on when they should pick the car up in order to have it delivered on the 19th, which was the day after we would arrive in Florida. They mentioned it could be anytime in the week of the 11th and they picked it up on the 12th. They were a day late but they made sure that they called so that we knew when they were coming exactly and why they were not able to pick it up on the day scheduled.

Our 2017 Tucson Hyundai had been in an accident and we weren't in the area to pick it up. We had to ship it and went with Ship a Car Direct. It was the best price they had and I was very pleased with them. I did it all online and their reps were fine. They did exactly what they're supposed to be doing. They told me what the process would be and how much it would cost. We were in Florida and they picked up the car in Cincinnati, brought it to me, and called me when the car was ready. It took three days from pick up until drop off and I had someone pick it over at the pickup point and it was sitting there nice and clean. The quote and the final price was the same and then there was $35 rebate later. Everything was wonderful.

Upon his arrival at the destination, he gave me a call again as well as a place to pick up the car. I got it with no damage and scratches and at a time that was faster than their estimate. Shipping through this company was a very good experience.

I transported a 2014 Nissan Altima from Arizona to Massachusetts through Ship a Car Direct. I found them through a friend who recommended them to me and and said it was a good service. I worked with their rep, Jennifer. She gave me proper inputs to inquire about the status of my car and where it is. Ship a Car Direct gives good service and interacts well with customers. They have different quotes with the different vendors that they have and they gave the best available vendor to pick up the car and to drop it off. The final charge they gave me was almost the same as the quote I was given. It matched with the price range gotten by three of my friends who also travelled from the same location to where we are now. When I got my vehicle, there was nothing damaged. Their guys waited for me for 15 to 20 minutes until I checked my entire car. Overall, it was a good experience.

One of the guys was John, and he answered all the questions I had upfront. He was available when I had some questions about the process. The driver showed up right on time, he was very professional, he loaded the car right up and showed up five days later with it. It was a couple days earlier and it was well within my expectations. The car was in great condition upon its arrival. I would use Ship a Car Direct again.

I've used Ship a Car Direct before and I'm a repeat customer. For this third time, I used them to move a Subaru Crosstrek for 2,500 miles to another state. The online quote calculator was really helpful. I appreciate that the information came through right away. I also had good interactions with the representative who helped me. However, I didn't need as much communication with them throughout the whole process and minimizing the number of emails and the number of requests for feedback would be great. Whereas, it ended up to be about a dozen communications or maybe a few more. If that whole process could be done in three or four emails, that would be best.

And then, I requested to decrease that because I got better prices from other companies and then they gave me a new quote for 1,025. The delivery of the vehicle only took five days so it was very fast and when the vehicle arrived it was completely perfect.

My interactions with their customer service rep were brief. The person was helpful. In addition, the driver was great, he was personable and my car arrived safely. I was shipping during the holiday season and the reps mentioned that they thought I should send the car early just to make sure there were no delays. I did that and it ended up being a lot earlier than I needed to. It was even faster than Ship A Car had anticipated. My experience with Ship A Car Direct was fine and seamless. The car got here in time and that was what is important. It was unblemished, too. In addition to that, Ship A Car Direct has an app that's good.

Buying a car on-line and arranging for shipping from Illinois to Louisiana was a little stressful and everyone at Ship-A-Car Direct made the transport process so easy. It seemed like they had some reputable companies that they use for transport, and it turned out to be true. The carrier driver called us everyday, and the transport took three and a half days. The car got there early and its condition was fine.

The quote I got was not the lowest, but it was okay. The delivery was good and the driver was very courteous. He took his time lowering the car down on the ramps. He had a low front end so he had to put some blocks of wood under to make sure it didn’t hit the ground, so he did a good job.

Although they were more responsive prior to signing up than afterwards, overall, it was still a pretty seamless experience. I was generally able to get ahold of them when I needed to and then later, they provided contact information directly to the driver. And the driver himself was responsive. They picked the car up a couple of days later than they originally said they would pick it up but it arrived on the date they had always said it would arrive on. So I was happy. It's a long distance, cross country move and from the date they picked it up to the date it arrived, it took a week.

The service of Ship A Car Direct was great and I would recommend them. They got the vehicle that I purchased in when they said they would and for the price they said they would do it. When I signed up, I spoke with a sales rep a few times and it was fairly easy then I did it online. Their customer service was good. The quote that I got was fairly accurate. The price went up a little bit because I changed cities. The city I initially put was about 20 miles west of where the car got picked up. The driver did a great job. He called me before he arrived to let me know he’d be here. And he was here within a certain amount of time. He allowed me to take a look but he did not rush me to inspect the vehicle. It was all very good, then I signed the paperwork. The vehicle arrived on time and in good condition so I'm satisfied.

The car is in good condition although a little bit dirty, it's just maybe the weather. But there were no scratches and everything was good. I had them move my car from the East coast to the West coast. The quote was fair, and it was actually the best quote I’ve seen by over $150.
