I've used Ship A Car Direct many times and they've never let me down! Excellent communication and customer service and my car has always arrived when promised (sometimes ahead of when promised) and always in the same condition as it departed. Highly recommended!

Shipped a 2019 Honda Civic from northern Indiana to Flagstaff, AZ. Note: our requirements for this move were very flexible. I didn't have any deadlines for pick up or drop off. I just need to move the car from A => B within a 3 month timeframe. I had a very good experience with Ship A Car Direct. Communication with Lottie was very good. I got all my questions answered. There were no surprises with $$. What I was quoted is what I paid. It's important to realize that these folks are brokers - and they have relationships with actual carriers. In other words - Ship A Car Direct is not going to be picking up your car. Rather a regional or perhaps local carrier is going to be actually showing up and doing the work of transporting the car.

In need of a reasonable/reliable way to transport our son’s Jeep I began researching online. The results pointed towards Ship a Car Direct and we were not disappointed. The process was very simple and stress free. Matt was very professional and guided us through the process. Information was forwarded through email, text and phone calls. We heard from customer service, dispatch and the driver. Utilizing a downloaded app pictures taken before and after ensures damage accountability, which there was none!

Great communication and service shipping our two Teslas from Los Angeles to Palm Beach in an enclosed truck. No damage and a great driver who was very flexible with delivery timing. I highly recommend them.

The experience was fairly good but the only thing was that pick up was 5 days later than proposed date as well as the arrival date. The whole process took 12 days for me to finally get my car. Agent was nice thought. Prompt response and responsible.

Could not be happier than the method of pick up and delivery. While the streets of Boston aren't conducive to the size of the transport vehicle, and you need to arrange for a ride at the rendezvous point; the delivery to the door was a great experience. No damages: A real nice and pleasant driver at both ends of the process; I would definitely use Ship a Car Direct again to arrange for the whole process.

I booked Ship A Car mainly because of Renee. When I talked with her she went into great detail explaining the process and never made a promise she knew was not attainable. My car was actually picked up earlier than expected and arrived on time.

I have used Ship a Car Direct for a number of years. There was a glitch to the carrier that was first assigned to me. They (the carrier) kept changing the pick-up date. Jennifer from Ship A Car Direct was able to immediately assign a new carrier while keeping me informed throughout the whole process. My flight was pre arranged and when I landed at my destination, there were emails and texts informing me that the pickup was complete. Jennifer gave me complete peace of mind.

I found that Ship A Car Direct kept me up to date on the schedule of pickup and delivery. The carrier they hooked me up with was also good with communications. He even left my car on the driveway in my gated community and walked back to his truck. Pricing was good.

I got about a billion calls, texts and emails when I was looking for someone to ship our Highlander to NY from CA. The only company that had real humans who weren't pushy salesman was Ship a car direct. They told me it would cost about 1350 but if I was flexible with dates they could try get better rate (I ended up paying 1300). Emails and videos were super helpful on their site and they gave me the driver's cell phone so I could get info right from the horse's mouth. He was running a day late on the pick up but still got it here on time - the Ship Car Direct team was super communicative. They emailed me the schedule update and even answered my call at 9pm! I could text my broker anytime and he always got right back to me - I can't remember his name - (like Mark or Matt maybe?). I've shipped 3 or 4 times and it has always gone badly. These guys were awesome! Would recommend!

He expressed his concern and took personal responsibility for the situation, involving Alex, the manager, who did a great investigation, who efficiently determined who drove my car and where it had been where everything ended to be the responsibility of the carrier who put my car down in Arizona.

Ship a Car Direct refund half of the for the total Cost $687 I had spent, and also assured me they would cover any additional expenses that may arise like tolls, tickets. Additional they assured they would never gonna do Business with the carrier involved in the incident to prevent any future issues. Ship a Car demonstrated responsibility and acted promptly to resolve the situation.

I found Ship a Car direct through some Google searching and compared to other services their practices seemed transparent enough. There were no hidden charges no base amount + other charges that you can’t back out of after signing contract. The driver picked up my car and dropped it off on time, no damages were found, there was no hassle at all. However, keep in mind that most drivers will prefer cash/Zelle payments. In short, a direct payment; I personally prefer Zelle for keeping records. There was nothing to complain. Could be slightly cheaper though.

Used Ship a Car Direct after a HORRIBLE experience with customer service using a competitor. After relisting the vehicle, the customer service was incredible with multiple contacts a day to inform me of the status. The car was shipped very quickly and at a reasonable price (cheaper and faster than the "repriced" competitor that I fired) from Georgia to Idaho. Transit driver went above the normal to make sure that I was informed and kept up to date. Would use them again.

Ship A Car Direct Customer Service and communication was great. Quote had to be adjusted because after S-A-C-D reached out, it turned out that it would cost about 100 dollars more. SACD did cover half of that increase though, so my end cost was about 50 dollars more. They were quick to communicate this though, which was great. Vendor delivered car much more quickly than expected (which is fine for us), but I thought vendor's communication could have been better about schedule. In the end, overall great service.

I had a 2021 Lexus LX570 shipped from Smyrna, Georgia to Salt Lake City, Utah. I had to decide between an open or closed carrier. The difference was $400. The car was picked up on a Wednesday at 3pm east coast time and arrived on Friday at 1pm mountain time. It took less than 2 days to transport this vehicle across the country. Your agents at Ship a Car Direct do not have quality control on your driver. It seems that the system is very luck of the draw. Even if you had a terrible experience, they don't reimburse you anything.

There seem to be a lot of disingenuous players in this industry. However, I am happy to say that my experience with both the broker (Ship-a-Car Direct) and the carrier (SkyScore) was world-class, start-to-finish. Jennifer was super responsive to my questions and very proactive in keeping me informed. And Alex, the driver with SkyScore, was the same. The car arrived in California, on-time, and without a scratch. I wholeheartedly endorse both of these companies, and will use them again when I need to ship this car back to the East coast, or for any other car shipment needs in the future.
