I got about a billion calls, texts and emails when I was looking for someone to ship our Highlander to NY from CA. The only company that had real humans who weren't pushy salesman was Ship a car direct. They told me it would cost about 1350 but if I was flexible with dates they could try get better rate (I ended up paying 1300). Emails and videos were super helpful on their site and they gave me the driver's cell phone so I could get info right from the horse's mouth. He was running a day late on the pick up but still got it here on time - the Ship Car Direct team was super communicative. They emailed me the schedule update and even answered my call at 9pm! I could text my broker anytime and he always got right back to me - I can't remember his name - (like Mark or Matt maybe?). I've shipped 3 or 4 times and it has always gone badly. These guys were awesome! Would recommend!

I shipped my car across the country 4 years ago with Ship A Car Direct and went right back to them when I needed to return to the east coast. My experiences both times were seamless and so professional! They picked up the car in the exact window they promised and did the same for delivery! I was communicated with every step of the way. I have never shipped a car before trying Ship a Car Direct and I was very nervous as I have read numerous online reviews that were horror stories. I was relocating for a new job and I decided on this company because I liked what I saw in their reviews online. They answered all of my questions and explained the process to me. He expressed his concern and took personal responsibility for the situation, involving Alex, the manager, who did a great investigation, who efficiently determined who drove my car and where it had been where everything ended to be the responsibility of the carrier who put my car down in Arizona.

Ship a Car Direct refund half of the for the total Cost $687 I had spent, and also assured me they would cover any additional expenses that may arise like tolls, tickets. Additional they assured they would never gonna do Business with the carrier involved in the incident to prevent any future issues. Ship a Car demonstrated responsibility and acted promptly to resolve the situation.

My whole experience was great from start to finish. I was kept abreast of what was going on, including when my driver would arrive to the origin and destination. It's not easy not to see what's going physically—perfect customer in my personal experience with Ship A Car Direct. I have already passed her number along to my family members.

I found Ship a Car direct through some Google searching and compared to other services their practices seemed transparent enough. There were no hidden charges no base amount + other charges that you can’t back out of after signing contract. The driver picked up my car and dropped it off on time, no damages were found, there was no hassle at all. However, keep in mind that most drivers will prefer cash/Zelle payments. In short, a direct payment; I personally prefer Zelle for keeping records. There was nothing to complain. Could be slightly cheaper though.

The service was fast and reliable. I got the quote on Wednesday and my car was delivered to the final destination on Monday. They were able to finalize the transport in less a week. I would definitely use their service again if I need in the future.

Used Ship a Car Direct after a HORRIBLE experience with customer service using a competitor. After relisting the vehicle, the customer service was incredible with multiple contacts a day to inform me of the status. The car was shipped very quickly and at a reasonable price (cheaper and faster than the "repriced" competitor that I fired) from Georgia to Idaho. Transit driver went above the normal to make sure that I was informed and kept up to date. Would use them again.

Right as I was supposed to have my car picked up for an interstate transport on the east coast, the gas pipeline shut down and gas became scarce especially in the south east where the car needed to go. Ship A Car Direct Customer Service and communication was great. Quote had to be adjusted because after S-A-C-D reached out, it turned out that it would cost about 100 dollars more. SACD did cover half of that increase though, so my end cost was about 50 dollars more. They were quick to communicate this though, which was great. Vendor delivered car much more quickly than expected (which is fine for us), but I thought vendor's communication could have been better about schedule. In the end, overall great service.

I had a 2021 Lexus LX570 shipped from Smyrna, Georgia to Salt Lake City, Utah. I had to decide between an open or closed carrier. The difference was $400. The car was picked up on a Wednesday at 3pm east coast time and arrived on Friday at 1pm mountain time. It took less than 2 days to transport this vehicle across the country. It was clean and only 1 mile driven on the vehicle. I would highly recommend this company to use.

Ship A Car Direct connected us with Demeltaf Transit for the shipping of a car purchased in Miami and delivered here in Virginia. The car was picked-up on Sunday and arrived at our home on Monday afternoon. Not only was the delivery incredibly prompt, but the price was hundreds lower than other bids I received. The Soto's...who own Demeltaf are wonderful and careful stewards of your vehicle. I wish that I could rate them higher than 5-stars. Great folks. He advised me of the procedure, what did I need to do and what to expect which I thought was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. He’s a very people person. He also advise me of the pickup times and drop off time about where my vehicle will be dropped off at and not to worry. Having thoroughly researched several companies, I ultimately chose Ship a Car Direct to arrange the transport of a car from Los Angeles to the Boston area. Of all the brokers I talked to, they were the most informative, explaining the entire procedure and answering any and all questions I had. Within a day of accepting their quote, the vehicle pickup was arranged, only to be advanced to a day earlier at my request. The trucker was equally communicative and delivered the car an hour earlier than originally anticipated in order to accommodate my schedule on delivery day. I had a Hyundai Elantra 2010 (gray Color) Shipped from New York City NY, At 1st I thought there will be delays, because the Guy That was originally handling our shipping was out of the Company, But David Picked up our case and acted on it very quickly and efficiently. He coordinated the shipment from my Uncle's place in NYC and communicated with him. After about 5 days the car arrived in Texas safely, and damage free. As the Trailer truck is quite big - He parked at the main road and drove the car to the street and delivered the Car In front of our house. We were being updated while the vehicle was in transit. The service is extremely poor. I booked the shipping 10 days before the pickup date but they waited until 2 days before the pickup date to provide me with the carrier info and the price is 10% higher than the original quote. The experience is very bad and I ended up to choose another company.

The car was picked up late by one day. We gave Ship a Car Direct a two day pick up window from Tucson. The driver told us last minute on the last day of the two-day window (while I had waited at the pick up location all day) that he couldn't come until the next day, the day I board my flight. The driver was very unprofessional to deal with and also racist towards Asians. I do not recommend working with Gabe at Ship a Car Direct. Your agents at Ship a Car Direct do not have quality control on your driver. It seems that the system is very luck of the draw. Even if you had a terrible experience, they don't reimburse you anything.

Boy do I regret that decision. The pickup date was the same for both companies, Ship a Car Direct showed up timely, the competitor called and delayed a day. Fast forward to the drop off and once again, Ship a Car Direct was on time and the competitor was late. The little bit of money I saved on the price was not worth it. Ship a Car Direct uses top-notch drivers/companies and their customer service is phenomenal. They keep you informed and also double-check to see how things are going.
