I was relocating to Pennsylvania and SGT was rated highly on the internet. My experience with their agent was great. They got back to me with the proposed move date quickly. They did fine. The driver came with a smaller vehicle with a trailer on and picked the car up and then he delivered the car to the driveway at the new location. He parked the truck a block away and brought the car. Everything went well. I'd recommend them.

When we were looking up online for the most reliable and affordable company, SGT Auto had one of the better reviews. Their price seemed very economical as well. The driver was very good and timely in his delivery. It was all about the way it was estimated. I've heard so many horror stories about people who get their cars and they're banged up, but it was painless with SGT.

I relocated to Orlando so I needed service to transport my car. I made a few calls online and SGT gave me the best offer. Also, they said they could guarantee to pick up my car in the next day. The rep who helped me was good and the driver was easy to talk to. He came on time, did a check of my car, gave me some documents to sign, and then drove my car away on his truck. He delivered it the next day, which was good. If others need car transportation, I would recommend SGT first.

My daughter was moving across the country and we shipped her car thru SGT Auto. We contacted them on what we needed through email and they contacted me back telling me a time and place they would be. They met us at the time they said they would be there. The driver couldn't get up to pick up the car where we live so they met us down on a main road two minutes down the road. They dropped off on my daughter's street in San Diego, pretty much outside her door. They were a little bit early dropping the car off. The cost was worth it and I would tell others to use SGT Auto. They won't be disappointed.

I went directly through SGT and it was good with the customer service rep. It just took a long time to get the vehicle delivered, longer than we expected. At first, they said it was gonna be June 2nd and they arrived on the 4th at 11:30 at night. But the driver, Alex, shared his location with me from the time he picked up the car so I was in the know the whole time. My only gripe would be I dropped the car off on a Wednesday afternoon to the guy and he was across the bay from me literally 15 miles for the next 26 hours. I could have driven my car over to him and had my car for an extra day. But that was no big deal.

This was my second time using SGT Auto. I like that they provided insurance on the transport. Their customer service reps seemed straightforward. There was a language barrier with the drivers, but my vehicle's condition was good.

My daughter was moving and we were gonna have to take the moving van and the car, and we thought it would be easier to travel together and send the car ahead. I wanted to deal directly with a transporter and not a broker, so I googled and found a few different ones that had good reputations. SGT Auto seemed to be the most straightforward about their pricing and about their timing. The SGT reps were very professional and pleasant. The only thing that was a little confusing is when you do the online request, it tells you in calendar days how many days it's gonna take to get someplace, but it's work days. So, you're a little more timed than you expected. I understand that. It's just who set up the website calculator. It worked out to my advantage because I was able to beat the car out there.
As far as the pickup, we took the car around the corner, where he had a straight shot in and out. I live on a dead end street that's very narrow. They photographed the car to no end. There were some hail drops on the roof that I didn't even know what they are. They documented everything. They showed it to my daughter. “So this is what you're signing for.” All of those pictures were available to both of us. At the drop-off, they called my daughter about four hours ahead and they did the same thing.

I used SGT Auto when my car broke down. They did the transport from South Dakota to Washington and it took one day. The driver texted me that it was there and I was able to pick up my keys. It was in perfect condition just like I had dropped it off. The driver was good but I needed a translator because he didn't speak English. Other than that, I'm very happy with SGT Auto. They know their stuff.

I shipped a car through SGT Auto for my niece and I was there for delivery because I paid online, and then I had to pay the guy the rest of the balance. I had to pull some teeth to get some information from SGT but overall, it was okay. I had a couple of questions about the timing behind shipping, and while I had to probe a little bit to get some verification, they answered them. I think it was a little bit of a language thing. There were some accents that I had to deal with. They tried their best and I'm glad it was resolved. Overall, it was a good experience.

SGT was the most professional and direct among the companies I had researched. They were brokering the transport and did a great job. Everything went according to what they said it was going to be. They picked the car up right on time, and it arrived in New Jersey earlier than I expected. They were always very communicative. If I had questions, they answered them. We had no misunderstandings. I was concerned about the honesty involved in transport but it was better than I thought. Originally, the quote was $1,076 and it ended up to be 1,300 because my granddaughter was putting stuff in the car to transport within the car. It had certain limitations, but she was able to get a lot of her personal belongings because she could do that.

I have a home in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and I can't drive my Porsche in the snow in Chicago so I send it there for four to six months. I called several transport companies and SGT stuck to their schedules and their price. The other ones were all over the place. Setting up the transport was easy to do. I had a lot of questions and the rep answered them. Then, when I asked for a commitment, I got a commitment. My price didn't change and neither did the time. The driver picked up and delivered the vehicle when he was supposed to.

I needed my car picked up within a specific amount of time, and SGT Auto Transport was the only one that was able to do it. They were able to pick my car up within two days’ notice. It was picked up in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. It was dropped off in Concord, California. It was scheduled to take three days, and it took three days. It was a fast pickup. Faster than when I had my car initially shipped out there. It was smooth. And the rep was very knowledgeable. It was worth the money.

My SGT agent was very professional, and they were able to accommodate my timeframe and keep me up-to-date of what was going on, and provide me the name and contact of the person that was gonna be picking up my car. So, it went very well. The car was picked up in Georgia and delivered to North Florida. They did it in one day. It was like a four and a half hour drive. It was around 8 o'clock when the driver picked it up. I got the car delivered close to 1 o'clock in the morning. It came in the enclosed trailer as I had requested, and the driver just dropped it off. I signed for the car and that was it. The trailer that the car was picked in was sort of a wooden trailer. So, going down the road, there were some things in the car but it was not a big deal. The service was great.

I needed to move a car that I purchased in another state to my home. I found SGT online and they seemed to be reasonable. I like their price and availability. They were pretty fast. Their customer service reps were very thorough. Our interaction was very straightforward and to the point and everything went very smoothly. They knew what they were doing. Also, the quote was completely accurate. The transport was scheduled to take three days. The car was picked up in North Carolina and dropped off in Colorado. At the drop-off, the driver had a trailer. It wasn't overly glamorous. They dropped the car off and there were no issues. They did no damage to it. Overall, SGT's quality is good, the turnaround time was amazing, and they did the job.

My experience with SGT was great. It was seamless and online. For both pickup and delivery, it was a straightforward, easy process. The quote provided was perfect. There was no significant change or bait and switch by any means. It was from Washington DC to Arizona, and they ended up doing it in four days. They dropped it off at our requested address and communicated that they were on the way, this is the time, and then they dropped it off right when they said they would.

I was on a strict timeline and SGT was really responsive to any of my questions about making sure I had a driver come and pick up my car before I was no longer in the area. They were really helpful. SGT is reliable. The person I dealt with with the other company was very rude, but the rep with SGT was very helpful and nice. The driver called when they were half an hour out. I told them I needed a little bit more time and they were fine with that. They told me they'd wait and I didn't have to pay for anything extra. The address was incorrect but they brought it to the correct address without a problem. It was a pleasure being with everyone straight across the board. My daughter's car got here with no scratches.

When I did a military move across the country, SGT was recommended by a friend. The rep was helpful and patient. The transport took six days and during the delivery, I got a phone call from somebody and he asked me where I was at 'cause we had messaged right before. I told him I was two minutes away and when I pulled up, he asked me if I was the person. Then he checked if I paid or if I still had to pay him a little bit. The price was good. The only thing was the vehicle was dirty.

The rep from SGT was nice, professional and answered all my questions. The quote seemed fair but it was a little high and I didn't have a choice. The delivery went smoothly. The guys brought the vehicle to the house and they put it where we wanted them to put it because I was still in Milwaukee at the time. They got it here when they said it was gonna get here.

Our experience with SGT went smoothly. We needed to ship a car out to our daughter who's in a different state going to school. They picked it up a couple of days later. Whenever I called for an update, they let me know where it was. The drop-off went well too. The quote was higher than some of the companies. But we were fine with that.

I liked SGT Auto Transport's reliability and pricing. The pickup and drop were both at a location close to my house where there is a wide road and space available. It was smooth and easy. I was getting a car in another state and I needed it transported down here because I wasn't gonna drive that far by myself. I picked SGT because I looked up on the internet which was the best one, and they were in the top three. The rep over the phone was very pleasant and courteous and answered all my questions. Setting up the transport was fairly simple but I had to call the guy back because he got the address wrong and get that corrected. The reps told me the transport could take three to seven days. The pick-up was in Kennewick, Washington and the driver had three cars on the truck already. He was picking up my dad’s car, and he had to stop and get three more on the way. So, the truck was fairly decent-sized. The drop-off was in North Carolina in a residential area but we have a wide street. So, it worked out. SGT was easy to work with and got the car there in the time that was told to me. So, it was a good experience.

I looked at about five companies before deciding on SGT for their price. The cost was reasonable. The transport was 3,000 miles and it took four days. Dealing with the customer service rep was good but they could have kept me updated on where the car was during the travel. I didn't have any idea where it was as well as an exact date when it was coming. It just popped up all of a sudden that they wanna deliver the next day.

The people we spoke to at SGT were very good. The pricing was transparent, and it was a good experience for us. We were gonna go with one of the other ones that we looked at because they were ostensibly cheaper. And then they changed their fees, which kind of annoyed me. So, it was good that SGT was transparent. I was most impressed that the quote was very accurate. There were no add-on fees.

The customer service rep was very good. When the driver picked up the vehicle, we had to meet him outside because we're in a smaller community and he couldn't get through. But they were perfect. SGT did a great job. It's expensive but getting something somewhere in one day was good.

I moved across the country and I had a company booked but they did not pick up my car for over two weeks and had no timeline, so I had to rebook with SGT because I needed somebody else to pick up the car. SGT was accurate to the final price. The delivery went fine. There was no damage to the car. It was delivered to a mall near the house because the truck couldn't access the apartment complex.

The first time we had SGT, we had what they called a three-day window and it went right up to the deadline. They did not have anyone for us, but if we would change from a three-day to a guaranteed date, then they probably could get someone, which they did. But they charged us $250 more. Then they called back and that driver failed. So, they wanted a little bit more. I told them to forget it and that I’d just drive my car to Florida. I wasn't going to pay them anymore, so we hung up. About five minutes later, they called and had someone for the extra 250. So, it all went well.
This last time we had them, we paid the extra 250 upfront and had a guaranteed date. And that went all right. The drivers on all of them were excellent. But the price was much more reasonable when we first used them than this last time. But this last time, our car was home within 30 hours from the time it was picked-up in Florida to delivery. And the same with going. So, their delivery service is good. I hear people that don't get their car for three or four weeks.

I would use SGT Auto Transport again. They got back to me a lot quicker when I followed up the second time. Also, the transport person that drove was very easy to deal with. I missed the time, so he had to come back. He was very accommodating. He told me he would be there at a certain time since I missed the first time, and he was. He pulled the car up and checked it. Everything was great.

SGT Auto Transport dropped the ball. I had a deadline to get out of my apartment. I waited to hear back. The last thing that I needed was my vehicle, and I had to follow up and follow up. Finally, when SGT connected me with this guy, all the other little issues didn't matter anymore because they were able to deliver on getting somebody there within 24 hours. I called them. “I've been waiting. Do I need to go to another company?” They found this gentleman. He was already en route with some other vehicles. And he did a double turn around to accommodate me. I was ready to go and my trip would take me two days because I was breaking it up. But he assured me, “I'm gonna drive straight through the night to get your vehicle there.” And he did that. It was a great move.
The driver was very communicative. He kept me in the loop in terms of where he was, because I was on a tight deadline trying to get to Ohio, and all of my other contents had already left. So, I waited on him. And he got there. He exceeded the time that he gave me. He was there an hour early, he got my vehicle here to Ohio before I arrived, and I was able to reach out to the people here and they were able to greet him, retrieve my keys. He put the vehicle in the assigned parking spot here. I gave him a $100 tip because he deserved it. He was a lifesaver.

Their quote was higher than some of the other carriers, but part of the reason was I had a guaranteed pick-up date. The driver didn't speak English too well, at least not for me during the pick-up. But he was on time and courteous. He had an injured arm at the time, so he was unable to perform all of his responsibilities. I loaded the car onto the car carrier myself. I drove it up. There was an agreed-upon delivery time and when my family member arrived, the car was off the trailer waiting to be inspected. The car was fine.

It was a great experience except right at the very last. The fella was supposed to be here, and then got tied up and couldn't and screwed up on that stuff. But the car was great. The transport was nice and clean. The price was right. So everything was good.

The guy that was delivering the vehicle picked it up here about 10 o'clock in the morning, and he dropped it off the next day early. The only problem was he wouldn't drive the vehicle up the hill where it was supposed to be delivered. He was afraid to. Besides that, the communication was good, and everything got done the way it was supposed to. SGT Auto did well for me, and I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

SGT Auto's customer service was really great and perfect. They walked me through the process and when my car was gonna be picked up. They told me about the cost and the prices, and then we chose the one that perfectly matched my considerations. They set me up really quick, then they gave me insightful information. I was really happy with that.
I took my car to the location that the guy who wanted to take my car sent me, then he inspected the car. He checked every detail, submitted a form, then took my car. I had one or two days of delay, but I was really happy with the final thing because when they dropped my car off, I checked everything. They showed me the inspection form that they submitted at the beginning and everything was perfect. Initially, I looked into different companies to get an estimate of what the actual cost is. The service was good because there wasn't a lot of delay in it, and the cost was reasonable. I talked to different people. They said, “Yeah, it's good.” I was satisfied with service overall.

SGT Auto Transport's reps were polite, kind, understood what I needed, and took my info. It was very easy. Also, SGT's quote was comparable to others that do that service when I talked to my friends about it. SGT would get the carriers to do the work. They would get the right person. And each time, the men that came either to my home in New York or in Florida were gentlemen, lovely, polite, and had high level of integrity. Very good men. I was very satisfied and I would use them again.

SGT was one of the few companies that would do an enclosed trailer. I was buying a brand-new car. So, I picked SGT with their price along with the enclosed trailer. The whole process was a good experience. They were a day ahead of schedule. They told me the transport would be five to seven days, and they were here in four days. The driver is very professional. When he got close, like they told me, he shot me a text. In fact, when he got here, he had already unloaded my Jeep and had it parked in my driveway, and he came to the door and said, "Here it is." He did a great job, and my Jeep was in pristine condition.

SGT’s rep called the day of the pickup and gave me a timeframe. They called me every hour on the hour to let me know when they were running behind so it was great. The pickup was as close as they could get to my location, which was what we expected. We live in a tight area so big trucks can't get through so it was within walking distance of a larger place where they could stop. The driver was informative and took photos. He did his job and kept it short. The same guy who picked it up was the same guy who dropped it off. They mentioned the transport would take at least seven days but it was just four days. So, it was quick. The experience with SGT was very positive. They were good communicators and kept me informed along the way, which was exactly what I needed, especially moving across the United States.

I gave SGT a call to schedule my transport and they gave me a three-day window for them to pick up my car and then transport it to Boise, Idaho. I said yes so they picked up my car and then, I flew to Boise, Idaho. They also gave me a window for the car to arrive. SGT moved my vehicle and at the pickup time, I was not at the location. Because I was not available, the carrier contacted the person that I assigned. He went there and picked it up easily without any problem. I was there for the drop-off, and my vehicle's condition was good. There was some dust but it was not a big problem. My experience was really good.

I was going to spend my winter in Florida. I needed a way to get my car down there so that I didn't have to drive it, and I went with SGT. As far as pick-up and delivery, I did not have guarantee. When I said I needed my car picked up on 12-12, I assumed that it was set in stone and blood and wasn't gonna be a problem. And on Friday, before they were supposed to pick it up on those dates in December, I got a message from them that said that they were actively working on my needs. Then on Monday, they said, "Now, we're really working harder at it." So I said, "You know, you realize that I'm leaving on the 13th. And I need to have someone pick it up beforehand so I can have a car when I get to Florida. And I'll be able to pay you then." On the day before I left, I hadn't heard from them. So, I called them up and I said that I was getting a little nervous because I was leaving the next morning to catch my flight to Florida.
So, the rep worked really hard. I don't know how he did it, but he called somebody. He called me back around noon and he said, "It'll cost you $250 more. I'm going to have a trailer that it's enclosed. And there'll only be two vehicles in it. Yours and one other one." I was really getting nervous but someone came at 6:30 that evening and picked up my vehicle. I was a little concerned that the person that came and picked my car up did not speak English but that worked out because I made communication with him through his phone and vice versa. The car was delivered to me as promised. They picked it on the 12th and delivered it on the 14th of December. It all worked out but I was very apprehensive of what was gonna happen. If I have to do it again, the word "guarantee" has to be in there.

The service was super pricey, but it was roughly the same as all of the other companies. I was considering four companies, and SGT Auto said that they did a military discount, but then I didn't even do the military discount. In the process of setting up the shipment, they said they would reduce the base pay down to a certain amount, but when I was scheduling it, there was never any sort of option that came up for me to do the military discount.
My car went from PA to Utah. I didn't personally interact with the person who picked up my vehicle because it ended up happening after I left for Utah, but when I received the vehicle, the guy was chill. He didn't talk a lot and he sped through everything, so I wasn't sure what was going on, but I just had my car back, so I thought, “Okay.” For the most part, some of the paint on the hood of my car looks weird now. Maybe it was from oil dripping from the car that was on top of it.

SGT gave me a window, usually four or five days before they picked up the vehicle. Once they pick it up, it usually takes about another four days or so to arrive. SGT was reliable and the pricing was fair.

Everything was relatively smooth. I did run into an issue where we were scheduled for them to pick up by a certain date. But that driver cancelled because supposedly, he had some issues. They were able to resolve that and get someone else. So I was able to move out on time. Overall, SGT had good rates and pretty good communication.

It was a good service. The shipment was on time, and the cost of the service wasn't bad, especially going through a long distance, from California to Florida. Usually, car dealerships would be ranged about two to four grand, but it was only a grand. When SGT Auto dropped off my Audi, I gave them the cash, then they gave me the keys.

I was separating from the military and I needed to get from my station back to my home of record. I needed my Jeep transported across the country, from North Carolina to California as well. I did a good amount of research, and SGT Auto's quote was competitive. The other part of the decision to go with them was the flexibility that they had with their cancellation or how soon they could get me in.
Everything was streamlined. There wasn't too much back and forth and SGT Auto communicated when I needed them to. I didn't have any trouble getting through to anybody. Pickup and delivery were good too. The gentleman reached out when he was on the way down to pick up my vehicle and kept me in the loop on the time frame, if it changed. He let me know what area to be in for him to easily be able to get my vehicle with the big truck, then once he came, he did his inspection and checked to make sure the car looked good. He took his pictures, loaded the car up and was on his way.
I recommend SGT Auto. It was quick and seamless and they even got the car to the destination in a span of about two days and a half. It was so fast, I was questioning how the gentleman even got there that quick. He beat me there by days. I also used a different car service before when I originally went to North Carolina and I prefer SGT Auto.

SGT Auto Transport got the job done. It was a fast turnaround even with the cancellation. It was within a couple of days. And it worked for us because we had a vehicle that was already used and not needing to be in pristine condition. I had an older vehicle that was already dinged, dented and beat up. Somebody with a really high-value car should consider enclosed transport.
It seemed SGT could do it fast. They could arrange for a pickup the next day. SGT subcontracts this work to different people who go around and pick up the vehicles and transport them on a truck. The initial carrier canceled with SGT because of family issues. I didn't get a notice until 8:00 at night. I guess it was because their carrier canceled them on short notice. So, it was a scramble because I noticed very late that that transport wouldn't happen, then I had to coordinate with the person on the other end. But it worked out okay because they got a carrier for the next day.
We knew what day the vehicle would come. This was the price that we made with a credit card, but they told us that the person who did the delivery would need cash. So, we had the cash. The guy delivered the vehicle. The only glitch was he had trouble sending us the receipt through email. He kept trying my email, but it wouldn't go through, and he tried my husband. We got the receipt that way. He was frustrated that it took 5 to 10 minutes. But I said, "I need the receipt for legal reasons." We had paid him in cash, so we wanted a receipt. But it worked out.

SGT Auto's customer service was awesome. They were very supportive and given what I require, on time. I had my SUV transported 1,800 miles, and it was straightforward. They asked me to come to a location to drop the vehicle off because their vehicle could not come to my community. During pickup, they also asked to come to a different place. I went there and picked up my vehicle without any issues. One of my friends recommended SGT Auto to me, and I'll definitely recommend them if someone wanted to move. I thought the price of the service was a little higher, but that was fine. I didn't have any option because I had to move, and whatever they do, they'll stick to that quotation, which is a good thing.

It's scary to give our car to somebody and have it go partway across the country. But SGT Auto Transport is reliable and it worked out well for us. I submitted something with SGT online. I got the information. I got a price and decided to book it. I got a call and a confirmation. And SGT told me a window of when they would pick the car up and a window of when it would be delivered. The driver that came was nice and explained everything. He seemed very experienced and professional. When he drove the car up on the truck, he was good. He seemed like he has done this before and it was just a routine thing to him. He was nice too.
He was within the window, but on the long end. However, we didn't get any communication. I hoped we'd know where the car was or a bit more about when it would be there. But my son got a call the day before it would arrive, and telling him when and approximately what time. Also, the car was in very good shape. It just had a few minor scratches. And the quote ended up to be almost the same thing.

So, the process was explained to us thoroughly and patiently, because we had questions. And they were able to answer. Everything was smooth. I've used SGT twice in the past and it was pretty smooth but the customer service this time wasn't too good. I needed the vehicle picked up on a certain day because I was flying in to meet the person. I was told that it'd be a particular day at a particular time and when I arrived there, they were still eight hours away from picking it up so I had to wait. I flew in just for that and I couldn't make the pick up. I had to have someone else wait there for them to pick up the car. It was supposed to be in the morning and they didn't come till the evening. Also, I had a hard time trying to communicate with the people what the issue was, why they were late, and when they would be there. They didn't keep me informed of the progress. They delivered the car, but it was a bit of a hassle and the price wasn't as good I thought it would be considering how I used it in the past.

I thought the quote was way high because the other companies would have done it for 900 and 1000, but I needed somebody right away so I went with them. The transported my truck but it was caked with dirt that even my power washer wouldn't take it off. I had to go to a car wash and go through it twice. Also, my windshield was cracked and they gave me 150, which a rep paid me out of his own pocket.

I don't know from where they got this rate. My personal experience is horrible. I asked for quote and they send me one. We agreed and I signed an agreement and provide a payment method with authorization for full amount at the time of pick-up. Last minute they called me and said the price is changed. "Now, you have to pay the new price or we will not be able to ship the vehicle." They don't care about you as customer, take it or leave it. Last minute approach to twist your hand. I will hire a lawyer to go after this contract breach.

Bait and switch. Signed contract with SGT for a set price. Was told no changes or hidden fees. They did not honor the contracted price. When car was to be picked up they called and said it would be more than 10% above contract.

I had checked with several quotes and a lot of the companies that came in under SGT’s quote weren't very reputable. So, the quote, as far as market value, was very fair and competitive. They offered a covered transport but I didn't go with it. It was a little more expensive. They had the driver reach out to me when he was within the time range that I specified. He arrived a few minutes early and it was a good experience. I'd recommend SGT.

I got a idea of the basic cost of shipping a car, then I got some quotes from some of the haulers and some of them were lowballing. I said, "How can it be $1,300 for one shipper and $800 from another shipper?" So I said, "I'm not gonna go with the lowest cost and I'm not gonna go with the highest cost." SGT seemed really reputable and I decided on them. The guy that picked up the car had a two-car hauler, which makes sense, because they gather up cars and get them all to a central location before they put them on the big truck. He met me in the parking lot. He was on time. He could have been a little nicer, but he had a job to do and I had a job to do. We were taking pictures but it was not uncomfortable.
They hauled the car up to a place in Los Angeles and it sat there for three days, and then he hit the road and they delivered it on the delivery day. The driver was about four hours late, but that was understandable. He was really nice. I tried to research the delivery spot because I know they can't pull underneath trees and they have to be able to get turned around. I gave him the coordinates and, sure enough, he called me and said, "Well, your car is here." SGT didn't even ask for half down on it. He collected the money when I got the car. So, I was pleased with that. Also, the quote never changed. What I was quoted was what I paid. I was really satisfied.

My experience with SGT's car shipping service was deeply disappointing. Despite clearly outlining my requirement for the car to be picked up by May 2nd, 2024, due to my scheduled flight out of NC on May 3rd, 2024, SGT assured me this would not be an issue. I provided a three-day pickup window from April 30th, 2024, to May 2nd, 2024, and we settled on a price of $1200.
However, as the pickup date approached, I was repeatedly assured by SGT representatives that a driver would be assigned to pick up my car. Yet, on May 2nd, 2024, I received a call informing me that no driver was available until May 4th, 2024. This sudden change in plans was frustrating, especially considering my impending departure.
To compound matters, I was informed of a significant price increase of $280, bringing the new total to $1480. This felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and the representative I spoke with was unhelpful in addressing my concerns. Discovering that SGT operates solely as a broker, relying on external carriers for transport, further added to my dissatisfaction. It's concerning that customers are left vulnerable to such last-minute changes and price hikes due to SGT's dependency on third-party carriers. In conclusion, I would caution others to approach SGT's services with caution and be aware of the potential risks involved. My experience underscores the importance of thorough research and consideration before engaging with such service providers.

I contracted with SGT Auto Transport to get my car across country. This was my second attempt at using carrier transport company. I cancelled on the previous company because they had given me a quoted price and then called me back and in a very used car salesman kind of way tried to inject a sense of urgency but the offer was several hundred dollars over the quoted price. Anyway, when I came to SGT I was assured that they do not charge over the quoted price. So I got my three day pickup window and waited for the day to arrive.
At the end of the first scheduled pick up day I called to see what the status was. I was told that they had not secured transport agent but that everything would be okay. I told the agent about my concerns with being offered a price higher than the quote to actually get it done and he assured me that SGT NEVER charged over the quoted price. So I waited. The third day came and I got a call for SGT saying they had secured a transport carrier. Guess what? It was for $400 over the quoted price that SGT had given me. I expressed my feelings on that and told them to keep trying.
My case was referred to a higher level agent and over the next several hours I got several calls about carriers that would take the car but again, ALL of the prices were over the quoted amount. The last price offered that day was only about $150 over but the quoted amount but at that point it was a matter of principle. Their representatives should never guarantee that SGT never charges over the quoted amount. It would be more accurate to say that SGT NEVER charges UNDER the quoted amount since that is what it amounts to. I had representative explain that sometimes it's more expensive. That's fine, then tell whoever builds your rate calculator to fix it so it doesn't under quote customers; and don't tell customers you never charge more than the quoted rate - because that isn't true.
If they had said upfront, "There might be a %20 variance in price because of the route" that would have been better - but they didn't. What they are doing is almost a bait and switch tactic and does not sit well with me. It amounts to lying and I don't like being lied to. After I emailed to cancel my order I received one more call from a retention agent. They had another offer for a carrier...and it was higher than the offers I received the previous day. I am done with them. Maybe they will work for you but caveat emptor.

On March 14, I signed an agreement with SGT to ship my car from AZ to CO. The pick up window was May 1-3. I also paid the additional $75 to be on the upper level. On April 30, SGT advised that my car could be picked up on May 1.... but it would cost an additional $130!! What's the point of a written agreement if the driver can change the price at the last minute???? Despite asking several times for an explanation, I was only told this was the price the driver was charging & it was "high season." But SGT knew it was "high season" when I first contacted them. I canceled the transport. SGT then called back to negotiate with me, by offering to ship my car for the full price but the car would be on the lower level instead of the upper level which I had paid for. THIS IS BAIT & SWITCH!!!

The rep who helped me get everything set up was able to answer some of my questions that I really wasn't expecting him to be able to have the answer to right away. That was good. Also, they had the best pricing for what I was looking at and with how the service ended up and how quick it was, it was the best choice for what I got. They showed up a little bit later than what they said for the pickup but as soon as they brought it, it went smoothly. The driver was very understanding because when he was trying to drop it off, it was a whole bunch of weird side tracks and issues that we had to get through and he was very patient with it all. I would recommend SGT if I had a friend who was asking for a transport service to try out.

It was very pleasant with SGT. They picked the vehicle up and delivered it faster than I expected. When the car was picked up, the driver called and let us know when he was an hour out. He was very informative. He did the same thing when dropping it off in Vegas. It went very smoothly and I was delightfully surprised. However, I had to make arrangements to get somebody to be at the car when the vehicle was being picked up and it took me two weeks to do that. During those two weeks, I kept getting texts and phone calls about it which I didn't like. I told them I was gonna go with them. I just didn't know the date. I would rather not have gotten all the texts and phone calls.

I had a good experience with SGT Auto. The communication was very good and they picked up and delivered like they said. The transport was from New Jersey to Florida, West Coast. It was five days going down and three days coming back. I'm gonna use SGT Auto again. Hopefully, next year.

SGT went above and beyond, made sure everything was handled right, and they notified me. As far as the driver who picked up the contract, he was very good. There's construction in the area that they were going. He had to just take the vehicle out, and then he drove it down about five blocks to a place where it's gonna be garaged. So, he did above and beyond the call. I could have gotten a better price, but I don't mind paying a little extra to get the better service and this is my second time dealing with SGT. The first time was good, so I went back to them. So, anything in the future, I'm gonna be calling them before I call anybody else. They were very professional.

I did everything through the chat and I didn't even have to call on the phone. It was super convenient. For a first-time delivery, I was able to get a discount and I was able to even get it through the chat. They were helping me out, especially with the agreement process with signing the paperwork. It was no hassle at all. I was able to knock out everything in one shot within half an hour. So, it was super simple. SGT did an awesome job. There was no delay in my car being picked up or dropped off at my current location. I was able to communicate with the driver. So, that helped me, just knowing when to expect my car to be delivered. It worked perfectly around the schedule that I have right now. And they were also able to drop it off directly at my base. All I had to do was exit the gate of my base and my car was right there. The price was what I expected plus the discount helped. It was great.

I scheduled the date and it got moved here and there. But eventually, we made something work. But it was a little disappointing that the date I scheduled didn't work. They kept calling me a week ahead of time asking if they could come get it and I said, "No." I don't know exactly what happened in the end, but it seemed like an issue with when it was being picked up. I talked to somebody and they said, "Yeah, I'll definitely get it in the PM tomorrow." Then, I got a call at 8:00 in the morning like, "I'll be there in an hour." I was like, "Oh, boy."

The customer service of SGT was good. They were awesome. They were straightforward and straight to the point. I knew exactly how much I was gonna be paying. The only thing that I would like to be improved on is when they give you an estimate on when the vehicle is gonna be picked up, it would be nice to know or have a more solidified date of when they will be coming to pick it up. However, they let me know when it was gonna get picked up and I had no problem. There were no issues. I was just concerned about the days upcoming to when it got picked up and when it would happen. Fortunately, for me, it all worked out perfectly.
My experience was phenomenal with them. They came and dropped the vehicle off within 48 hours. The driver seemed like he knew what he was doing. He dropped it off. He was very careful since it is a performance and lowered vehicle. I had no scratches. I had no incident. We sat there and we talked a little bit about the vehicle. And they checked up with me afterward to make sure everything was good. In my experience, I would definitely have them ship my vehicle again. And because I move around a lot because I am military, most likely, I probably will use them again.

We were moving from Texas to California and I needed to move my collector cars. They did a good job. I wanted it closed transport and they were all closed. They made it through Los Angeles where I asked them to drop them off at a warehouse of a friend of mine. The guy was great. He owns a dealership too. He has a car dealer's license and he purchases a bunch of cars as well and tows them all around the country. I've used reliable carriers in the past, but SGT was good. I'd call them again.

I Googled auto transport. I went on two websites, but SGT was the easiest to navigate. So I went with them. They were quick to pick up my phone calls and find my answers the couple of times I had questions during the transportation. The driver was good too. Car arrived on time and in one piece. Communication wasn’t the smoothest for pickup or drop off, but they were flexible enough and we made it work. During pickup we encountered a language barrier. Drop off was more just figuring out the location and time. For the price, the extra little bit of stress was worth it. The car traveled from California to Ohio.

Ghana was fantastic and in contact with me the whole time. I was never wondering where my car would be. 10/10 would use it again. He let me watch him load the car to ensure it was on correctly. He texted me a day before when he was going to arrive and one hour before his arrival.

Picked up vehicle for transport quickly, communicated well, and dropped vehicle off when they said they would. Great job. I actually contacted SGT to transport another vehicle but seller backed out at last moment. Prices are competitive. I was told I would also a better price if I was to use SGT again, not sure if this is true but is just one more incentive to use them again.

I have used SGT several times & they always have the best rates & service. Do not use other carriers that offer too good to be true haul rates. Once they get possession of your vehicle they are like kidnappers & will not deliver until you pay more fees. There are more scammers than reputable haulers like SGT.

Pick up notification as promised and location pretty close to home. Transport driver was friendly and answered all my questions. Loaded my Subaru quickly and safely. Delivery day was as expected knowing that it might be a day or two off due to travel time etc. Kept me informed so knew when to be available to accept car. Delivered right to my address so no need to meet at a different location. All in all, very happy with service and price was slightly cheaper than competitors. Excellent experience with everyone involved in my transport, from the sales rep to the driver. I was advised of every step during the move. The driver, Erik, contacted me while en route. We set up where my vehicle was to be picked up and dropped off. When he arrived, he took great care in looking over my car and putting it on the transporter. Was very happy with his professionalism. After reading the reviews for many companies, I went with this company. The service was outstanding without any issues. They cost more, but I would use them again, You get what you pay for. The vehicle was picked up and delivered ahead of time. The driver was courteous to our represented in Dallas and delivered as projected in Maryland. I am still amazed that this happened without any problems after reading about the cut-rate companies that contacted me.

Overall I was pleased with the service. The communication was good regarding delivery. The drivers both ways were great. The reason I only gave four stars was because I paid $300 for the specific date of pickup. I was notified by the driver that he was ready to be picked up the day before which was in the window of my original agreement. I was not contacted by SGT to reimburse the extra money I paid for a specific pick up date.

Shipped my daughter’s Sentra from Savannah to Denver. Seamless transaction from start to finish. Held to time and price agreed upon, I would use them again. Their prices are very fair and reasonable considering the high level of quality provided. SGT AUTO TRANSPORT LOST MY BRAND NEW CAR. IT ENDED UP STOLEN. I retained SGT for the transport of my BRAND NEW 6 figure vehicle from a dealer in California to my home in Florida. The vehicle was picked up from the dealer. A few days later I got a call from the dealer that the LAPD had reached out to them as the car was found abandoned on a random street in Los Angeles. (As it was a brand new car it was not registered or titled and did not yet have license plates- so they traced it to the selling dealer). The LAPD impounded the car and determined it was stolen. After much effort on my part I was able to get the vehicle released to another transport company for shipment to my home in Florida.
The best part: When I called SGT to inquire about the car after being initially contacted by the dealer/ LAPD, SGT had no idea what had happened. The next day SGT called me back and said "I guess you now know...." OK- things happen. Time for SGT to make things right. I have incurred real out of pocket expenses including a bill from the impound yard of $800+. I have a brand new car with a Carfax report showing it as stolen and recovered. Diminished value is a real thing for a high end vehicle with a Carfax issue. I reached out to SGT and they said, "Sorry, this is not our problem." REALLY? So I guess it's my problem? Very nice.
Furthermore, SGT has been unable to provide an insurance certificate for the carrier that they assigned the transport to- basically telling me that he has been uncooperative. Hiring SGT was a horrendous mistake on my part. Their complete refusal to accept ANY responsibility showed me what type of business they really are. There are so many other choices for auto transport. Never again.

We contacted SGT to transport our vehicle from Florida to New York. They gave us a price and a window of time when they would pick up the car. Because we were leaving and concerned about having the car picked up on time, we were told that if we paid an extra $300, they would come on the specific day agreed upon. We agreed to do that, as it would also give us a guarantee that our car would arrive on time for us to use it at home. They never showed up that day. Calling them to ask what had happened, we spoke to someone who spoke broken English and gave us every line in the book. We continued to call them the next day, which was when we were leaving. We had to find a place to park the car, and hire someone to wait for the truck to show up. They never showed that day either. Numerous phone calls, long holds, and continued classic lines, such as "We are working very hard to resolve the problem," didn't change anything.
We made arrangements for someone to be available the following day. Still, no show. We had the baby car seat in the car, so we ended up coming home and having no seat for the baby. We called numerous times that day to be told the same thing over and over. The next day, we called numerous times, as we had no car. Same old thing, different day. This was beyond belief. They finally picked up the car 5 days after the day that they had promised. This company is not to be trusted. The thing that they are best at is giving endless excuses...every day a new litany of reasons that they were not able to live up to their contract. We will not only never use them again, but will warn others of their deceiving business practices.

Everything went smoothly in my experience with SGT. There was a one day delay, but it was because of the driver's trailer lights went out. So he had to stay an extra night or couldn't night drive. Communication was good. He spoke with my father when he arrived, told my father what had happened, and got in touch with him. Overall, I would recommend them.

I recommended SGT Auto Transport to my friends. I said a lot of positive things towards them. Other companies tried to offer me 1,500. I searched up SGT Transport and they had the best price. The quote was great. It was fast. They just wanted to know what my car was and how far I lived. And they bargained with me. They gave me a discount. I forgot to use my military discount, but the end price was great. I had the location of my car the whole time and everything came in earlier than I expected. It was great. I took pictures of the car and no damage was done to it. The driver that was there was nice. It was all good.

SGT's reps were excellent in scheduling everything and answering my questions. They also gave me a good quote. My car went from Las Vegas to Colorado, Fort Collins and it arrived a little dirty, but that was normal because it was on a flat bed. The cost of transporting it with SGT was worth it.

They told me that the trailer that was towing my car broke down, but they didn’t give me precise details. But I was notified that there would be a delay. On the day of delivery, the guy was a few hours late. I walked out to a Costco 'cause that was where he wanted to meet, but he wasn't there. So I headed back. Just five hours late the day that it was ultimately due for drop-off. But he was stuck in traffic. It was fine. Given how long the drive was, I understand why the time estimates might not be entirely correct. I'm glad I got my car here. My experience was okay, overall.

I'm stationed over in Fort Carson, Colorado and I left my vehicle back in Pennsylvania because that's where my family's at. I was coming back from rotation overseas, so I needed my vehicle when I got back. I used SGT Auto and setting up the transport was fairly simple. I gave them the destination and pickup, then they gave me a quote off of that and they gave me a call to get a little bit more information. After that, it was the waiting game to see if they could find somebody to deliver my vehicle in time. I was flexible with that because I understand that things happen. But the pickup point was out of my control because I gave the information for my brother-in-law, then the person that picked up was me, but I had a friend handling all that just in case I showed up way later than that date.
During the pickup, some guy called, said he couldn't pick up the car, so he asked to meet up at a certain place and the process was quick. At the drop-off point, I called the driver and he told me that he was also looking at the map. He said he saw that he could just drop it off at the street where I was at. It was winter at the time, so all the snow was melting and the car came out really dirty. But that was also because I chose the cheapest option and I knew that the vehicle wasn't going to be as protected as having it transported while it's enclosed in the trailer. But besides that, there was no issue, the vehicle ran fine, and there wasn't any new scratch. It was well taken care of. All in all, I like the service and I'm going to use it again.

The car was picked up in Montana on schedule. The delivery was earlier than scheduled. But the driver was kind enough to drive the vehicle in my driveway and leave the key on my porch. It was supposed to be COD, but I wasn't there. So they left it right on me to pay, which was kind of risky on their end. But maybe they figured that I was good for it and indeed I am. Overall, it was a very favorable experience. It was quite seamless.

SGT was wonderful. Their price is very fair. When I called to schedule it, George answered all my questions. We lived in a gated community, and a big truck couldn't get in there. I told the driver where to meet us and when he got there, he called us, said he was there, and we drove down and met him. He was phenomenal. He walked around the car, looked for any dents or bumps or scratches then loaded the car on. When I had made the arrangements, I said, “I don't care when you pick it up, but it cannot be delivered until this date.” When the driver picked it up, he said, “Don't worry. If I have to, I'll leave it park it at my house. Just call me when you get home and we will then deliver the car.” I called him when we were taking a car service from the airport to the condo and told him that we were coming.

My experience with SGT was smooth. I just clicked on the service, and someone reached out through email. The vehicle arrived on time, one day later than I expected, but it's okay. When my car was dropped off at my location, the driver didn't know that I had paid my cost already. So he checked for 15 to 20 minutes before he released my car. I didn't pay anything, but I waited for 20 minutes for him to confirm that the shipment had been paid already.

I needed somebody to transport a truck that I bought that was in Davenport, Iowa. I called US Ship, and they sent me to SGT Auto Transport. The driver picked that unit up on a Friday morning, and from Davenport Copart, he brought the truck back to me in, Eastwood, Kentucky at eight o'clock that night. The service was great. It snowed on him coming through Indianapolis. He was super nice because he brought the truck in there and we unloaded it, and he went on his way because it was snowing. The gentleman lived in Richmond, Kentucky. He went on up the road and everything was fine. I enjoyed it, and everybody was happy. The quote was 900 and some dollars. It was fine because I wanted to get the thing back here and didn't wanna wait a week, but the driver brought it right on back. It was perfect. I'm getting ready to call SGT again because I'm gonna buy a truck when it comes up for sale.

I'd use SGT Auto Transport again. I paid the money to send the car and I got it quickly. They did a good job. And they're half the cost of other companies that quoted me. The driver gave me a heads-up when he would stop by, and told me when he was running a bit late.

SGT was rated highly as far as the price and how quick they could get the cars. So I put in an inquiry to them and they had a guy that could get it the next day. The guy picked up the car the one day, and I got it the next. So I was pleased. The driver didn't speak any English at all. But he had a translator app on his phone. He was a nice guy, and very polite. I was surprised he was able to climb in and out of my brand-new Corvette and through the window and not cause any damage.

Sometimes, it was hard to get in touch with the driver, but overall, my experience with SGT Auto was good. We were supposed to be scheduled on a Sunday, but they ended up coming a day after. So, there was a delay but other than that, my car came back fine. There were no scratches or marks on it.

My SGT experience was very good. Making arrangements was well in advance, and I had to make some changes in the interim, and they accommodated that very well. Their customer service was excellent. They always would help out with questions and take care of my issues. Pickup was as expected. The only thing is they said that they would update me with status during transport, and they never did. That wasn't that important to me but it was just something they said that they would do, but they never did. Drop-off was great. They coordinated it well, and there were no mishaps. The driver that dropped the vehicle off was different from the one that picked it up, and in both cases, communication was great.

Crooks!! They "guaranteed" me that their quoted rate of $950 would not change. On the final day of available pickup, they jumped the price to $1,120! They knew I couldn't say no. Communication was also terrible - no notice of pickup, and I had to contact them multiple times to get a notice of when it was going to be delivered. When I did finally did get an update, I had to race home to take delivery as the driver was less than an hour away. Don't fall for it like I did. I've used Montway Auto Transport in the past, and wish I would have used them again. Night and day difference in business professionalism.

I had my car transported and paid an extra $100 to keep the car "in the safest" place, which is behind the cabin of the truck. Not only did this not happen, I learned that top loading is $75 and I was overcharged for a service they didn't even provide. When I contacted them and provided text messages and communications proving my point, their only response was "sorry, can't do it". Avoid this shady company, these 5 star reviews must be fake. I bought a classic car, and it needed to be picked up. I was going out of town, so it had to reach me before I went out of town and SGT Auto made that happen. I didn't want the classic car to be in the weather, so they put it in a really nice, high-dollar, enclosed trailer. The trailer traveled from Cincinnati, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia, and they had two drivers who shared the eight-hour drive. They drove here and stayed overnight then dropped the car off to me the next morning. SGT Auto's fee was right in the same area as what everybody else was charging, and they brought the car directly to our driveway and in the same condition as when it left Cincinnati.

Setting up the transport with SGT was fairly straightforward. I would have liked a little bit more information as I was submitting the contract because I submitted it, and then I didn't hear from anyone for several months. I booked very early, so that was just me. Once we were in the midst of the transport process, everything was great in terms of contact and keeping us in the loop on what was happening with the car. The transport time was shorter. The pickup point was in Davis, California, and then drop-off point was in Kansas City, Missouri. I would recommend SGT.

The process was easy with SGT. They were fairly transparent, like they would say, "Okay, this is not gonna happen. We're in New Mexico. We cannot promise you anything, but we will try our best," which I appreciate. So it will give me time to do a backup plan. However, they were able to find somebody. Then they were able to deliver my vehicle ahead of time that they have promised. They said they were gonna deliver it on Sunday. However, the car arrived on Saturday, which was a day earlier. So they were good. I already paid for the vehicle to carry some of the boxes. But the driver asked for additional payment. But it was fine because he delivered the vehicle in a good condition and then a day before. So I just considered that as a tip.

When I went online on the SGT website and I received the code, the quote was 1,200. Then, I called and I wanted to confirm, but I didn't tell them that I had the quote, and they told me that it would take around 1,500. There were two prices for the same car and destination in the same company. That is weird because that's a huge difference of $300. I told the rep that I had a quote of 1,200 and he said they didn't have that information and they didn't know exactly, but 1,500 was the price that was showing on the computer. I told him I would go by the quote because it was a lot cheaper for me and I ended up paying 1,200. They should look into that and maybe in the future, I will just go directly through the website because the agents tell you higher prices.
Other than that, everything was perfect and the delivery guy was so nice. I missed some documents in the car, which was really important for me, and I called him about it. I asked if he could please stop somewhere and let me come and pick it and he was so nice. He waited for me like for at least 15 minutes. Also, we received the car on time.

The process with SGT was very easy. I needed to move a car from Florida to Ohio because I had two cars coming up and I was driving one and I needed to have the other one transported. The pickup point was in Northport, Florida. Drop-off was in Lebanon, Ohio and it was three days. They're a good company. They did a nice job. The driver was very courteous and helpful. He had the car unloaded before I even got to the point where I had to meet him at a shopping center.

I browsed various companies to see which one offered the best price to ship my car from east coast to west coast of the United States. SGT was able to provide me with the most affordable quote. The customer service representatives were all very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire experience. The only reason I am not giving them the full 5 stars, is because I think the driver's communication could have been better. I was not present when my car was picked up, but the driver gave me and my friend a day's notice of when he would expect to arrive to pick up my car. The driver who delivered my car just casually called me an hour before he was arriving, which I think was a little unprofessional. I think being provided with a day notice would have been better as we had just made a cross country move and needed to ensure we were home in order for someone to receive the car. My car arrived in the same conditions it was picked up from.

SGT provides a 24-hour phone service and gets back to you. It was the best experience I've had with a car transport company because I was able to talk to somebody all the time and know that my car was safe in journey. They picked it up when they said they were gonna pick it up and they dropped it off when they said they were gonna drop it off. It wasn't coming as early as we had thought. But we were able to work it out that we got it to the timing that we needed it. We talked to the driver directly and to the person that was coordinating with the driver. I would use SGT again.

The reps at SGT Auto Transport knew what they were talking about. They were very polite, well spoken and reassuring. I called directly because I wasn't having the truck delivered to my home. Supposedly, it was okay to deliver it to another business was because I was using a business credit card, but it was almost to the point where I thought they were not gonna deliver it because it was not going right to my house. But they said that they would do it. I don't know if that was a little ploy to get some more money.
They came up with one price. I didn't like the idea that they wanted half at the beginning and it would be half in cash at the time of arrival. I'm not for the cash thing. I told them, “I'll pay for the whole thing right now. Just get the vehicle there. I don't want to hassle with going and getting cash.” Shipping companies bait you in with this low price. Then if you don't do it exactly how they want, which would be half down and then the other half in cash, it goes up. That was what happened in my case. It ended up being $150 more because I didn't select to pay the cash at the time of drop-off. They could make it more cut-and-dried.
Originally, I told them I needed the truck picked up by a specific date. That was on a Friday. They said that they would try but didn't pick up that date. Then I received a text asking if the truck was ready. I responded yes but never got a text back. That was on Saturday. I got another text saying that they were gonna be there. It was Sunday night. Then I got a call saying that they were not gonna make it Sunday night. It’d be Monday. That was a bad thing. I didn't have a definite pick up time. But once the person said they were coming, then it was detailed when they were gonna be there. The driver was very professional. Their equipment wasn't fly-by-night stuff. They had a nice truck. I could have got it done cheaper, but for the money, I was satisfied. The truck got delivered when they said it was gonna be delivered. I wanted the vehicle to be checked over. They had the shop look over the truck and make sure there wasn't anything wrong. I would use SGT again and recommend them.

At first, the driver wouldn't bring the car to my residence because they couldn’t get into my area with the kind of rig they were hauling. I was envisioning a semi but it turned out it was just a pickup and a trailer and he could have come to my home. So, in a spirit of cooperation, I gave him an alternate location with a big yard to unload it and turn around. I had a delivery two weeks prior using SGT with a different driver who was driving a semi and was able to get in there and turn. So, I knew it was a good place. But the driver said he couldn’t get in there either. He ended up just dumping it at the Walmart. If I wasn't paying for door-to-door service, I suppose it wouldn't be as bad. But I was paying for him to bring it to my residence. So, I incurred additional costs because of his unwillingness to do his job. Also, the car sat unsecured for a day at Walmart until I could coordinate getting it moved out of there.
The customer service with SGT, which was the interface between the driver and me, didn't help at all. They said there was nothing they could do and that they would note it in their profile. The car appeared to be okay. But even though the car was listed as non-running when it was to be picked up, the driver attempted to start it on his own accord to try to get it off the trailer without my permission. I haven't had an opportunity to try to start it so I don't know if he did further damage to it.

SGT Auto was amazing. They did a great job. The reps were super positive, very helpful, and considerate. They called me as needed, and responded on the chat thing as needed but they mostly just answered my calls and all my questions. The only thing was the delivery was a day later than they said, but it was because the weather was really bad, and they still communicated it. So, I'd use SGT again. The driver was super communicative. He is from a different transport company, but he texted me one day in advance, told me when he was gonna be picking the car up, and then called me two hours out, and then again on a half hour out. It was two safe locations for pickup and drop-off of the car. He was very thorough with his paperwork. So, I felt safe with the vehicle in his hands.
I feel like the cost was appropriate. The only thing is there was a little bit of a discrepancy between what the customer service rep had told me from SGT and what the driver had told me as far as baggage and how much that would cost. The driver had a certain price for what the bags would be, and then I was told something else by the SGT member. I still thought it was very worth it because that was a very long drive. It was just the driver was asking for more money for baggage than the rep was. He was like, "Based on this amount of luggage in here, it will be X amount of dollars." We negotiated in-between prices because I told him that was not what was told to me by the transport person over the phone. So, that was helpful.

My experience with SGT was good and everything worked out just fine. Their customer service was not fantastic, but it was okay. They should have a little bit better communication. They need to tell you there are processes for when everything's going to get done, like the truck arriving at the pick-up point. But the delivery point was easy. It was getting picked up from the dealership. They also did a good estimate on the timeline.

They were late from when the driver was originally supposed to deliver the vehicle, and then he kept having me meet him outside of where he was supposed to drop it saying that he couldn't drive the truck in there. But other people have driven big trucks in those areas. So it was just a little weird.

The driver picked up the car in Ohio on the day that SGT said they would. He took pictures and looked it over. I could not get in contact with him during the transport but I could get in touch with the SGT representative and he let us know when the car was coming. The transport took nine days, which had two extra days to get here in California. The driver dropped it off at a school parking lot very close to where we were. He was very nice because we didn't have cash and he took a check.

We moved from Georgia to Tennessee and we had a car that we weren't able to transport on our own. We were looking online and SGT was one of the top choices and it seemed highly regarded. Also, we were asking around with other people and the prices were way overpriced but with SGT, we were pretty surprised. I went with them so quickly because it was very affordable. We called and we thought we had to plan out pretty far ahead. But they said we booked it out really early and they would have had no problem doing that. It went really quick and easy.
Our car up with a big pickup truck with a large double-stack trailer for the vehicles and the driver was able to maneuver really good. He got all the information and before he even touched the keys, he did an inspection and took pictures of the car. He was very respectful and nice. It took 10 minutes and he was out of there. Then, when they delivered, the car was exactly the same as when they picked it up. I'd recommend SGT to other people.

I shipped a Chevrolet Malibu to Virginia from Houston thru SGT Auto and they were really nice. Once I told them that it was my first time shipping, the lady that I spoke to was really helpful and very patient with me. I didn't have any issues. On the day that the driver was supposed to pick up the car, he texted me and let me know that he wouldn't be there until the next day. We had a freeze going on, so I completely understood that he wasn't going to make it that time. When he came, he looked over the car and showed me any indentions on the vehicle, something that I didn't even see. I told him I wanted to take pictures, so I took pictures of the vehicle before it left. He was also the one who told me that I might want to look around it and make sure there was nothing wrong. So he had this yellow form that when he went around with and he put there anything that was wrong with the vehicle, which I really liked a lot. He did a great job.
Other than that, SGT only charge you half when they first talk to you on the phone and I thought when he delivered the vehicle, that would be when he'd take the final payment. But he said that they take the payment when they come to get the vehicle. So, I was miscommunicated on that. But the transport took two days which was pretty fast. Also, the price was cheap and their customer service was excellent.

Everything worked out very well and they were responsive. I had to change schedule and they were easy with that. Also, we moved the the car when we had those pretty bad storms and they kept me informed of what was going on. There was a two-day delay from what they said originally but they told me upfront because of the bad weather and the driver told me that he went a different route. He went south to avoid some of the snow. I was very happy with the way they handled everything.

SGT Auto had a decent price. The delivery went well. My one complaint would be they told me they were gonna pick the car up on Saturday, and then they didn't show up until Monday. That screwed me up. And then, on the day they were coming, they were like, "The driver's gonna be there at 11:00." I was at the car at 11:00. The driver didn't show up until 3:30. I called the company that SGT contracted with. They were dispatched three times and each time they told me the driver would be there in 30 minutes. They could have told me where the driver was and gave me an actual true estimate. I could have gone and done a million other things that day than sit around.
When the guy did show up, he was great. He was a lot of fun. He was very communicative and easy to get ahold of. He got the car up on the truck with no problem, and then he got it to Tucson before I got to Tucson. So once the van was on the truck, everything was good but I would have preferred a little better communication when it came to the pickup because that screwed my time. Even with that caveat, if I do need to ship a car again, I am gonna call SGT before I go pricing anyone else because they did get the car to Tucson in one piece.

I had SGT ship a Toyota Corolla 2018. I liked their price. The customer service was good. The only thing that was a little different is that every person that I talked to had an accent. The first one, I understood everything but then with the next lady, it was hard to understand a lot of it. I couldn't be doing anything else if I was talking to them. As far as the delivery, the gentleman called me the same day. He was like, “I'll be there in an hour, hour and a half.” So, that was the one downfall. They said that they would call me a day in advance. We moved over here, so luckily, I didn't have anything else to do. It didn't really change my plans but I could have been out, and then I would have had to switch things up. There could have been better communication.

BEWARE: My vehicle was supposed to be shipped 2/5... This company called me EVERY DAY requesting a sooner pickup up. I repeatedly explained I would not be in the state until scheduled date. The day before pickup, I called to confirm pickup. I was left on hold for over an hr before the call was dropped twice. I used the chat option to talk to a representative and was informed the phones were down and to call back the following day. They took my money for a deposit and I have no idea when my car will be shipped..STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....

My experience with SGT was fine. We had to change the place because the place that they first said had construction all around it and there was no way they could get their truck there. But they changed it to an easily accessible place. They called me an hour out of Lincoln to tell me. I was able to adjust. This was a problem, not of their making, and they handled it very well. I took the car there, they loaded it up, and I didn't worry about it. It was delivered on time in San Francisco. The pick-up was in Lincoln, Nebraska. It took them only two days. I have no idea how they did it. They must have had more than one driver. They must have traded off because it takes three days if you're stopping and doing it yourself. The cost was fine, it was $700. I wouldn't have driven a car cross-country for $700. I would use them again in a jiffy.

My truck had a cracked windshield and I was trying to get to the bottom of it. The person who brought it hardly spoke English and I tried to say something to him about it, but they were hooking up and leaving. I contacted through text message the person who brought it to my house but I never heard anything back about it. The rep sent me the pictures but they never took a picture of the windshield so, he sent me a link where it has pictures stored in it and the only thing they didn't take a picture of was the windshield. It's been a long time now. We probably have the truck for more than a month now so, I'm not expecting any sort of resolution at this point. Shipping vehicles is a hassle. I’ve used a lot of different transport companies and it's always the same thing for every one of them. SGT is the same as every broker.
SGT got the job done and the best thing about them is the price. But they’re the only company I've ever used that tries to get more money out of you after they commit to a price. You book it and then two days later, they say they need to get more money. I just make them stick to their number. Every time, it’s been a call between saying they can do it faster if they can do it for this amount. I tell them I don’t care and that they’re gonna do it with the number that they told me and if they’re not, I’m gonna go with somebody else. It's annoying because to ship your vehicle is a process as it is. As soon as they give your number to the people who are shipping it, then you're trying to communicate. It's a hassle because I don't speak Spanish. You'll get somebody that will call you and you hardly understand what they're saying. But if I spoke Spanish, maybe it would be no big deal.

I was moving from Massachusetts to Georgia and I decided to have my car transported thru SGT Auto. They were a great company to work with. The person that I talked to during the set up was very helpful and when I decided to change my pick-up date to another day, it was super easy for them to make that change. I had given them the date of the 11th of December and I got the call on Tuesday the 12th that they would be able to pick my car up at 8 o'clock a.m. the next morning. So, that was in the three days that I had given them.
At that time, I was in a pretty large apartment complex. So, the driver left the truck on the main street. I gave him the keys to my car then he drove it to where the truck was and loaded it on. I walked by the truck as I was walking to catch the commuter rail to work that morning and I noticed that it wasn't that big of a truck. But the car looked like it was very secure on it and I was happy about that. The final cost was also right at the amount that they had said and the car was in great condition when it was delivered.

I got a car transported thru SGT Auto and and the rep I dealt with was great. But the car was supposed to be picked up on a specific date and it was picked up two days late. I should have gotten a discount because my car wasn't picked up on schedule, but I'm not going to carry on and on about that. During the pick up, the driver parked on Mound since he wasn't able to get down the street I was on. So, he parked on the side street then he walked around and took pictures. I had to sign a paper after he did the inspection. Then he got my car and put it on the back of the truck.

Signing up with SGT Auto was pretty straightforward, and easy to understand. They explained the process. Everything ended up as planned. They were very flexible, which was good. You start with a three-day window, and that's when they're trying to find their drivers for those different days. They even came back to me right before that three-day window started with a driver who could pick it up on day one. But unfortunately, day one didn't work well for me, so they were fine with that and they said, “Okay, we'll let you know about the next few days.” They found us a driver and that worked out great. So the flexibility was appreciated. I would use them again.

The driver never called, but I did a couple of times. I called SGT Auto and they got ahold of him and answered my question. The driver should have gotten ahold of me and let me know where he was at, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Everything other than that went fine. The transport was from Florida to Indiana, and it was a little expensive, but that was okay too. They brought the car to me, and it looked like everything was fine.

The quote was about the cost of the other transport I did a couple of years ago, and everything worked out great. I liked it. The man was excellent. He brought the car to where we wanted to, and he did a good job for us. I wanted to give him a tip, but he said, "Please. I don't need a tip. I'm just glad to do the service." That was really nice. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll recommend SGT Auto, and if I do a transport another year or this spring, I'll call them again.

Setting up the transport with AGT was pretty business-like -- where we were going, how much stuff we were gonna put in the car if any, how many days is it gonna take to get there, and can we coordinate the car being there when we arrive with our flight. Everything clicked and the transport went like it was supposed to. The driver called when he was en route to pick up the car and he called when he got there. I brought the car to him because he couldn't bring the transport into our complex and he loaded it on the truck. I didn't see him again until he delivered the car in Florida. He called when he was a couple of hours away and then when he was a half hour away. Everything ran smoothly, which is a big plus in today's day and age.

I told SGT Auto what I needed, and they gave me a quote. I had to sign the letter of intent, and then a couple of days later, I had a pickup date. One major issue is that English was the drivers' second language. One guy couldn't speak English at all, and the first guy who was the main driver had broken English and a bit of comprehension problem. However, we were able to figure out most issues, and I was happy with the condition of the car when it arrived. The cost was fair as well. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done it. My personal issue was I could pick it up, but if I could get it delivered for a little better cost and I didn't have to go pick it up, I was willing to spend the money.

It was the first time I ever had to ship an automobile a long distance, and SGT Auto's cost was a little above average, but I was more interested in the quality of service than the cost. This car is a very special one, and the quality of service was excellent. The vehicle is so large that the driver wanted to make sure that I had an area that he could get into, so we coordinated that. The driver got to the house a couple of hours earlier, and he called me in advance. When he showed up, he got the car on, gave me the information, and I was able to track the transfer all the way across the country. It went from San Diego to The Villages, Florida. The car got here a day early, and I had a neighbor that was ready to pick it up.

SGT Auto was great. The only hiccup we had was with the delivery. We weren't able to receive the car. We were up north still and we sent it south to Florida. We had to count on our neighbor to receive the car and I had to pay them cash in advance for that to happen. We had to pre-arrange our neighbor to receive the car and give SGT our neighbor's information. When the driver got down to Florida, he called our neighbor. Besides that, it was good. Our neighbor said it was all positive. It's a gated community, so she had to meet him at the gate, then he drove the car back to our house. Everything was fine. Also, the cost was a little pricey, but I'm trying to be frugal.

I used SGT Auto the first time, and I had a very good experience. So, I chose SGT again. It was the same experience. SGT did a good job. All processes were very smooth. SGT's offer is reasonable. If they can do the best for me since I am a very loyal customer, that will be great. Sometimes they charged me a little bit high, but the service is very good and we had a very good conversation. The delivery was not awesome, but it was okay for me because, before the delivery, the driver always called me to Xero the balance. Sometimes, I was driving but I should pay them before they leave. So, it's not convenient, but it's understandable. If SGT can do Venmo, it will be better because sometimes my Xero has a limitation for daily transaction.

We moved from Pennsylvania to Florida and we have two cars. We drove one down. I needed the other one shipped. I went online and checked reviews. SGT had good reviews and that was who I went with. They were good to deal with. I had to change my date a couple of times because our move date changed twice. They were cooperative and changed our date. I don't love having a three-day window. I wish I could say, "This is the date I need it moved." I was given a three-day window, which made it a little harder to coordinate, but everything went smoothly after that.
We live in a development where it's easy enough to get a big truck through. So, the driver was able to get through and park and my car was the last one to be loaded on. So, it was easy to load it on and it went smoothly. The driver and I both walked around and checked all the panels, all the wheels, and made note of any marks on the car. The car was very clean. There were no dents or scratches, and it was delivered in clean condition with no dents or scratches.

Initially, with the recruiter, the customer service was good, and that's what I look for all the time. I'd like somebody to get on the phone with me, not just text me, not just send voicemails. Somebody’s willing to talk to me, and that's what I got from SGT. Setting up the transport was all done online and email, and a forum board of it.

Our car went up in flames on Dec. 22 as it was being shipped by SGT transports sub-contractors Road Runner Transport (RR). The brakes caught on fire on the trailer that was hauling the cars, 3-4 cars were totaled. Our contract states that SGT is fully insured as well as all of their subcontractors. We do not believe that the subcontractor RR has any insurance. Road Runner has been a joke - they have not helped us in any way with neither insurance information, claim numbers, police reports. I tried multiple times to follow up with SGT for help and they have sent 3 different certificates of insurance for Road Runner which have all been false and lead to dead ends. It's been 3 weeks and we have not only lost our car, but all the contents as well, and we have no information or support from SGT or Road Runner. SGT is not standing behind their service or contract.

This is the most terrible company! My car was stolen under their care and they will not take responsibility at all! They brokered it out to a scam company and they say, "It's not their fault." I posted this a month ago and they took it down. The only time they called me was to ask if I filed a "police report." Why? Because they are scared. Do not hire this company. Find a private driver. These trucking companies are scam artist! My Mercedes is gone. I had personal items in the car and they could care less. Terrible people! It makes me sick to give them 1 star, but I had to in order to post this. SGT.. Where is my last post???

We asked somebody else to hand over the keys and be there for the pickup and the trucking company was super late. They gave us a three-day window and, if I hadn't called, they weren't gonna show up till the fourth day, which would have made it impossible for that person because they had to go back to work on that day. The driver spoke very good English but a couple of times when I spoke to him on the phone, he said, "I don't speak good English. Send me a text." It was a little odd since he wanted me to send him a text that he'd have to read while driving.
In Massachusetts, SGT switched the truck to a different company with a smaller trailer so they could get under the appropriate bridges. That person who ended up delivering the car was great. I live right next to a large parking lot in a restaurant that's actually closed for the season. It's literally right down the road. So, we met right there. It's a 45-second walk from here. So, the delivery went very well. But the first driver should have been a little more friendly and upfront.

I'm happy with SGT Auto, and I would recommend them. They were very nice, communicative and did a good job delivering the vehicle. Customer service was very good, and the price was lower than the last one I used. This is my second time transporting a vehicle, and the previous time wasn't as good as this one. The previous company had a third party come pick up the vehicle, and there was no paperwork. It was weird, and I was uneasy because they did not offer a receipt or any kind of evidence that they picked up the vehicle. The previous company didn't communicate effectively as well. They set up the deal and delivered the vehicle, but in the process, they were not communicative or sending updates.
The transport with SGT Auto was much better. Plus the big difference is that when they came to pick up the vehicle, the person that was gonna drive the transporter came, so I was able to speak with him. That gave me a bit more confidence in knowing that my vehicle was in good hands. They also had receipts and paperwork, and the driver gave me his phone number. It was much more trustworthy exchange.

My experience was very good. The driver from SGT and myself were both leaving Arizona at approximately the same time within a couple of days. I had the driver's number, and I was able to call and keep track of him as I drove across America to Tennessee. In Tennessee, I was staying at an Airbnb and there was no way he could get a tractor-trailer in there, but down the road and a half mile was a big church parking lot. We hooked up, got our vehicle, and everything was slick. He was a very polite driver.

When I sent SGT Auto my request for a quote, they got back to me within minutes and the quote was very reasonable. When the rep called me, they were having a November special, so he lowered the quote for me. That was nice too. The whole process was smooth. It was wonderful, and the rep was very professional and knowledgeable. My son, Kevin, was at the pickup and he took pictures of the car. It had to go on a back street. There was almost half a block of ground between the street the driver came and where the car was. Kevin drove it around that side and he parked in that dirt area and had just an open trailer. This car was the third one on the trailer, so he loaded fine. Kevin had no problem with that.
We had a few glitches because I was supposed to get the car before I left town for the weekend and it didn't work. I had to call the rep back to make sure my neighbor could accept delivery and that was fine. I gave my neighbor the final payment and gave the company his phone number so the driver could call when he got half an hour out. My neighbor accepted the car, and he said it went slick and the guy was really nice. The guy called and told him he was half-hour out. He ended up being early, which was fine, and arrived on time and unloaded the car. My neighbor put it in the driveway for me, and it was in perfect condition.

When SGT Auto's rep called, she asked what kind of vehicle I had and where it was going to. She was very helpful. Every question I had asked, she knew the answer and if she didn't, she got back to me. I was told that the transport would take five to seven days and the courier driver was very good and helpful. He told us exactly what we needed to do in order for my car to get up and not get damaged. Then on delivery, the vehicle was in the same condition as when it was picked-up. SGT was very reliable, communicative, and fast.

Aside from a text stating an estimate of when your vehicle is expected to be picked up and delivered, there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever on ANY status. If a picture wasn't taken at the dealership (which I asked for when THEY let me know a truck showed up), I would have no idea my vehicle was even loaded. I write this today on a Sunday - still without a vehicle, and absolutely no idea where it is, I can only guess sitting somewhere unsecured between Dallas, TX and PA! SGT is only a middleman. They have no way of communicating with the actual transporter, only to call during business hours, which you can do yourself. I would never use this company again and would recommend you go elsewhere as well. They are inexpensive and it shows with the lack of communication, customer service and details expected when transporting a vehicle.

SGT Auto Transport was great. They were responsive and easy to work with. I had a really easy time with the driver. He was amazing. They brought the car directly to me. It was great. We had a bit harder time with the dispatcher. The drivers and the support staff were great, but the dispatchers are not easy to work with. We pushed through it though. Everyone else was really great. They honored their quote. It was spot-on. The pricing is really good.

SGT Auto helped me to get my car on time, and everything was good. They were great. I did call a lot of people and sent email to many places, but they were the one that had the best offer. Their customer service reps were following up, calling to make sure everything's going as they said it's supposed to be. So, they were calling me just to check on me. The drivers were good, too. They were always on the phone with me, just checking in to update me the time, arrival time and all sort of things. The price was good.

Everything worked out great in my experience with SGT Auto. They were very attentive to what I needed. The driver picked the vehicle up on Thursday and I got the car on Saturday. The whole process was easy, smooth and there were no problems.

When I moved from Texas to Maryland, I transported my car thru SGT Auto. Their quote was fair and their customer service was good. The delivery driver, Max, was great. He got here a day early and dropped the car at a wrong location, but we worked it out. I would also tell others to watch their billing with SGT Auto. They charged my credit card more than the quote and I've made numerous calls to try to get it corrected with no return calls. So, I had to go to Chase Credit card to recoup that amount.

It was a great experience with SGT Auto. They made me feel like family and gave me the best price. I thought it was gonna take a while but they told me they were gonna pick the vehicle up the next day and they did. Everything was so quick. I didn't even pay and they were already there. They gave me their number and always answered the phone. They dropped it off by the mall in a safe area. It was even better they dropped it off there.

We had two vehicles shipped with SGT Auto Transport. They called a few times to follow up to make sure everything was going smoothly and answer all the questions I had. I was on the delivery side and it was good. My wife was on the pickup side and she said it was good on that side too.

As the transporter was putting the car on the trailer, he scratched the underside of the front lip. I have video evidence of the incident and told them about it. They made me open up a claim with their insurance and somehow even with the video evidence it was not covered under their policy. I don't know how a company can get away with scratching someone's car with video evidence and not have to pay a dime.

I looked at about three different companies and selected SGT because of the military feedback that I saw from other parents. We had a little hiccup. They were supposed to pick it up on Friday, and I didn't hear anything from them. When they called on Saturday, I had plans so no one was home. But they were kind enough to wait until I could get somebody to get the car and get it to where they were parked. I live on a country road so they couldn't get down our road. But they did make it all good and still got it there in the time frame that they committed to. So overall, it was a good, positive experience.

My experience with SGT Auto Transport was seamless. So, I'd recommend. They're also cheaper than the other providers. I was transporting a car from Seattle. Their rep walked me through setting the date and the pick-up location, and general questions about pick-up and drop-off. It would have been nice if they had a portal to see where my car was at when being transported. Other than that, for what the service was specified, they did what it specified. SGT is reliable.
