I cancelled within 20 minutes of booking, via email, per the Terms and am now told that they will be charging me $149. Terms say to cancel by email and I get a call to say they are charging me because they cannot retain my business. This is a shady company regardless of what the reviews say.

I was looking into some options first ‘cause I wasn’t even sure if I was gonna ship the car, and SGT called me up 14 times to see if I was ready to ship, so they were pushy at first. When I called back, the quote had gone up, so I didn’t like that part, but I did get them to honor the original quote. The transport was okay. I'm trying to get some other vehicles transported and it's a nightmare, so in comparison, SGT was good. Just the communication was difficult because they couldn’t give me the time and place they were gonna pick up the car. It seemed like their logistics was a little fly-by-night, they didn’t know from day-to-day who they got doing what and where. I had to meet them in the middle of the road, and it’s where they loaded my car. It was right beside a Dick's parking lot, and the truck would have fit in the lot, so it didn’t make sense to me.

I have had really good luck from SGT in the past. My recent events that are currently undergoing has been the worst experience with a business ever. The driver called to He’s going to try to deliver my car at midnight and we try to tell him that was not acceptable to please come in the morning. He then got irate with me and said he will be coming no matter what and I said you are not allowed on my property that late. And then he started cussing at me and said he will drop off the car when he feels like it. The drivers at this company is hiring or disrespectful and they do what they want. I have suggested SGT multiple times in the past. This will be my final usage from this company and I warn everybody to never use this company.

My wife found SGT online. They had really good reviews and a pretty decent price, but I wasn’t very impressed with the company itself. It was hard to get someone on the phone and hard to get straight answers.
SGT is basically a freight forwarder, and the company they paired us with was a very small company. I actually appreciated the small company they matched us with. I don’t think we would use SGT again, but we would use the transport company they paired us with.
I can’t remember exactly how many days it took, maybe three. They delivered it when they said they would. The driver we had was amazing. He actually beat us there by about six hours. I couldn’t believe it. I hugged him at the beginning, and I could have hugged him again at the end.
The driver was very communicative. He was running late on the pickup day, but he was honest about it and kept us updated whenever it was safe for him to use his phone. We chose a good pickup location, and he loaded the car easily. He couldn’t have made the process any smoother.
He was a total gentleman. Not only did he keep us informed, but he also arrived in Texas about six hours before we did. He pulled right up in front of the house, unloaded the car there, put the keys in the mailbox, and sent me photos. It couldn’t have been easier.
Nothing bad happened, but with SGT, I felt like just another number. The transport company itself made it feel personal. They cared about me and my vehicle and made sure I was okay with the process and that my vehicle was safe.

It was wonderful with SGT Auto Transport. Their reviews were very good. The customer service rep was wonderful the quote they gave was fair. The transport took around 36 hours and the driver was excellent.

I was moving and needed a transport service. Customer service was helpful. At first it was a different price, but then I told them there's another company with a better price. They matched it, so I chose SGT. They called me about two hours before the delivery and then gave me the timeframe. 30 minutes before the delivery, they called me again. I was able to wait for them at the front door. I checked my vehicle and they gave me the key. It was simple.

SGT Auto Transport was fine for the first time. Everything was so fast, and the driver communicated. But the second time, there was a lack of communication between the drivers and me. They had a delay, and I didn't get the car on time.
The car was picked up on Friday and delivered on Monday. The driver didn't let me know when they picked up the car, or when the car got delivered. The company does a very good job. But I think that the problem was just the driver part.
I paid $450. They're supposed to give me a discount, but they never give me any.

It was pretty fast. SGT got back to me the same day or the next day. From a scheduling standpoint, I was able to set up the pickup within seven days, which was nice. They even delivered the car faster than the estimate they gave me.
There were some small discrepancies between the quote and the final cost because I chose the economical option and probably should have read deeper into it. But overall, the pricing was pretty good.
With the policy I chose, I should have known that I needed to put down a deposit and then pay the balance when the vehicle was delivered. The service itself was fine. There were just a few minor issues with the driver they assigned.
I was able to reach SGT easily throughout the transport, and when I did have an issue with the driver, they were able to resolve it, which is what mattered to me. The car was a little dirty since it was open transport, which is expected. Overall, I would likely use them again in the future if needed.

I'm in the military. And so, SGT Auto Transport is one of the companies the military uses. The driver was good, and I had no problems. The vehicle arrived in the same condition as it left.

SGT Auto Transport hauled our little truck that we just purchased. The quote that they gave was very reasonable, a really good rate. They told us exactly when the truck would be picked up and when it would be delivered, and that was exactly how it happened. We chose to meet them so the driver wouldn’t have to go down our dirt road, so we picked a spot to meet. He arrived earlier than expected and ended up waiting on us. We couldn't have asked for better service.

I learned about SGT Auto Transport over the internet. The pickup and drop-off schedule was changed a couple of times, but customer service was good. Every time I reached out to the driver, he answered me.

We had a good experience with SGT. My daughter was moving, so I needed to have her car shipped from New York to California. SGT was clear with their prices and their process. Coordinating with the representative went very smoothly, and he seemed knowledgeable. The pick-up went well, but the drop-off went very late. I think they could have arrived a bit earlier in the day rather than in the night. Overall, everything was good, and I am satisfied with their service. I have already referred SGT to quite some friends of mine.

I shipped my car with SGT from the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania to the Gulf Coast of Florida. Some of their drivers are better than others. There were some communication issues with the last driver who came down from Pennsylvania. His replies to my questions didn’t really make sense. But the car was here on time, so I’m satisfied. We didn’t have any trouble at all, and I certainly recommend SGT Auto Transport.

SGT was one of the first ones I saw, and they had decent reviews and the price was fair. The drivers came on the expected date of arrival. Just the service in itself, these guys must drive nonstop. I didn't have to reach out to them ‘cause I knew where it was. The address that was listed for it to be delivered was within a shopping plaza, and it was obviously a large truck with different vehicles, so he couldn't really go inside the plaza. He had me meet him out in a busy street, and he just parked right in the middle of it, and it was a little bit of inconvenience ‘cause I had to search where he was at. But I can't really fault him for not trying to come into the plaza

SGT did a good job for me. A friend of ours used the company and recommended it to me. Setting up the transport was a good experience. The rep was good and very professional. The transport took two weeks, and it was from my home in Washington to Arizona. They originally scheduled it to take three days. The guy had no problem with the pickup. I took a film of it, with my driveway and everything. He said it was perfect for him, so he used it. It was good. He seemed nice and professional. He did a good job and took care of my car.

SGT is very quick in getting it set up and vehicles get delivered very fast. The only thing that’s confusing to us is they outsource it to someone else who actually does the delivery, pick-up and drop-off. So, it’s not clear as to who we're paying and how we're paying.

I was very happy with SGT. They were really nice and they did a great job. They picked it up on a Monday and they brought it to me on Tuesday, so they got it here quick and I was pleased with them. They gave me a better price by $150 than other places. Plus, I wanted an enclosed trailer and they gave me that. I wasn’t there when it was picked up, but delivery worked out well. It was like a Dually truck with a big, long trailer behind it, and everything went great. I'll use them again.

I needed a car brought to me from Leesburg, Virginia, I called SGT for the pick-up, they picked it up that day, and I got it at midnight that night. The driver couldn’t understand any English, but he was fine. Once he got the car off the trailer, he took pictures of the dash and all around the car. When the car arrived, it looked better than I expected.

I heard about SGT from my husband because we're military and I think he was saying it was a military company or something like that. So that was why. And then, I needed it because we PCS, which is a military move. So we were moving from state to state.
Setting it up was fine. It just gets a little confusing because they have a window. It's not that there’s an exact day. They ended up coming the day before I wasn't really expecting them to come, but it was fine because I had a little wiggle room. For other people, I'm not sure how that would work. That was the only thing. It's just that they don't give you an exact date. It's a four-day window when they can come pick the car up.
It wasn't the truck driver that contacted us. It was the actual company, not the person that's gonna be transporting the vehicle. All that communication goes through the company. They'll contact the truck driver. The company ended up calling me and was saying that the driver would be there in 30 minutes close to by my house.
Once he came, I had to meet him down from my house in an open lot. He went around and took pictures and videos of the car. We waited until he actually put the car on the lift, because there were other cars on there. I wanted to make sure my car didn't get hit when he's putting other cars on there. I waited till that happened and then that was it. And then he gave me a date that he would have the car at my place.
He picked up the car Thursday, and then it came late Friday night. For delivery, they looked for a big lot by the house. They didn’t come to the house, which another thing is. On their website, it says door-to-door, but it's really not door-to-door. I had to meet the driver somewhere. That part was inconvenient because I wasn't here yet. We hadn't arrived yet, but my husband was here. But the guy was nice. The driver was pretty good.
There were as no scratches on my car before they took it and it came back in the same condition. One thing people need to know is that if you have a certain time frame that you need them to pickup or deliver, they don't count the weekends.

I have a friend who shipped through SGT about two months ago, so I already knew about them because the service was good. I was very satisfied with the service. The driver picked it up but delivered a mile away from the location, so I had to go to him to pick it up. But it was fine because that place was inaccessible for the heavy trucks. It was a little pricier compared to what my friend got but it was reasonable. It was only $100 higher, and my friend shipped a couple of months ago.

My experience with SGT Auto Transport was good. I went with them mainly because I read the reviews with the Better Business Bureau that it was okay. Their price was fair, and the driver's service was good. He showed up and called me before. I was happy with everything.
This was my first time transporting a car. After I called SGT, they said they’d get back to me, but I didn’t hear from them, and I was worried all the time about whether they were going to call me. It was getting late for me to leave, and I was going to be flying out of town. Everything seemed to happen in the last few days. I would have appreciated more updates about the pickup and arrival time. They had said they’d call a week or two before, but I wasn’t hearing from them, so I kept calling. They kept telling me they were working on it, but you start getting nervous when you don't have any actual plan. They were still looking for a driver, I guess.

I was buying a car online from out of state, specifically in Chicago and a dealership in Tennessee recommended SGT Auto Transport. I researched one other company, but ultimately chose SGT because of their reasonable price and recommendation. The representative who helped set up the transport was good. It’s been a while now but I had no problems or concerns.
The pick-up was in Schaumburg, Illinois, and the drop-off was in Indianapolis, Indiana. Originally, I was told it might take about 24 hours, but there were some delays, which was fine. It ended up arriving about three days after I contacted them.
My daughter met the driver and said he was very nice. He didn’t speak much English, but he pulled up, handed her the keys, and everything was fine. He was polite and then walked away.

I bought a car and needed it transported from New York to Boston, so I chose SGT Auto Transport. The transport was scheduled to take about three days.
I received a quote and was told the vehicle would be delivered on a certain day, but I didn’t hear from the driver. After I contacted customer service, the driver reached out and said he could deliver at 11:00 PM, which didn’t work for me. He ended up delivering it the next morning instead.

I found SGT Auto Transport through Google. We’ve used them twice. For the quote, the first time, it was okay, and then the second one was a little bit high. Customer service was great, and the carriers they chose delivered my cars on time.

I had a vehicle transported that I purchased from Florida. SGT is one of the known transporters that can actually find good enclosed or open transport vehicles, so I chose them, and I set up everything online. For the price, everything was accurate and very competitive.
At the time of pick-up, it wasn’t delivered from the location I was supposed to. So, instead of loading the car on and off and risking the car getting damaged because it was a lower vehicle, I just told the guy that I'll come to where he is and get it picked up. He unloaded it, and there was no damage to the vehicle. I’ve used SGT before, and they have always been good.

I needed to ship a vehicle from Antioch, California, to Pensacola. So, I looked at reviews, and whichever reviews looked the best at first, that’s who I looked at. And then when I called SGT, it was cool. And setting up the transport was all right. I understood what it is.
And the pick-up was excellent. I just went and drove half a mile to meet the driver and walked back to my house, which was fine. And the driver was excellent.
And they told me originally that it would take three or four days, and that the driver would call me 24 hours before dropping it off. And everything was excellent. Even when he dropped it off, it was excellent.
And the quote was obviously fine. It was what I was expecting.

I purchased a vehicle from my parents in Oklahoma, and I live in State College. And so I didn’t wanna have them book up two nights in a hotel and then a flight back to Oklahoma, plus add 1,300 miles on the vehicle. So, that’s why I decided to just ship the vehicle through SGT.
The customer experience was great the whole way through. I was super skeptical at first because I read a bunch of online reviews. Of course, most of the reviewers didn’t read the terms and conditions, so there were certain liabilities that they weren’t aware of before they got into it. So, that was why I did my homework.
But everything went well, except it was a really freaking cold night when I got it delivered. And the driver was just a little bit anxious to get paid. And I told him that I needed to at least see the vehicle first because it was still on the truck. And he just said that I needed to pay. And I told him again to show me the vehicle first. But it was totally fine and totally understandable. It was cold, so he wanted to get the job done and get home.
And they offered me both open and closed transport, and I chose open. And they made a quote, and it came out like eight something. And then it went up, I think, 30, 40 bucks, which is not that big of a deal. It just put me over 900. But I feel like driving halfway across the continent, still being under 1,000, is a pretty decent deal, especially in today’s dollar amount. And it was still below any of the other competitions, except for Navi Auto Transport.
But I called up SGT, and I was like, “Hey, Navi’s offering me like 200 less. What do you say to that?” And the guy was like. “Well, check the reviews. That’s all I can say.” And so, I checked the reviews for Navi. And they’ve been open for two years. And they’ve got a bunch of AI stuff. And there were hardly any reviews. And the reviews were equally as troublesome. So, the quote was fair enough.
And during the delivery, since I live in a college town, it was really hard to get it to my address. So, the driver brought it to a local Walmart and dropped it off, which was good.
There was just one minute detail, which wasn’t super clear to me, and I had asked them this, and they didn’t seem super clear on it. I guess there’s a different department that handles this, so they didn’t give me a clear answer on it. It was about what would happen if the vehicle was damaged when it was delivered to me. I asked them whether I should still pay the driver or defer payment. And it was not clear how that works.
But everyone in their customer service was super communicative and understandable. And one of the biggest gripes I have with companies is that they outsource their customer service all the time. And then you don’t just have a language barrier there, but you also have a communicating-your-problem barrier. So, when you outsource your customer service, it just puts up so many walls of difficulty that’s practically useless in the first place. And the customer experience just goes way down. And so, the fact that SGT had native English speakers was really beneficial and appreciated.
And I did basically everything through the website, and that was pretty good. There was one little glitch at one point, but it wasn’t a big deal. It was like a reload, and the thing didn’t reload. It was just probably more of a user error than anything.
And it was also really nice that at the very top, on the main menu bar, they had, in big bold print, their phone number. So, it’s just super easy to just call them up every time. And they should definitely keep the number up there. That’s just an obvious move that they should just keep doing.

SGT Auto Transport was the cheapest and the quality of service was excellent. Everything was great. They were clear about when it was gonna be picked up and when it was gonna be delivered. I had to change the pick-up date, and they accommodated me, so everything was fine. I got alerted that the driver was there, I went right over, he was unloading it, took care of it, and everything worked to my satisfaction.

Between the two companies I looked at, SGT gave me the better quote. The transport was from Texas to California. And it took four days. The guy picked up my wife’s car and drove it to where his truck was, about two or three blocks over, and loaded it and then left.
On the delivery, he parked it a block away because it was a big side street. I walked up, he confirmed that it was me, and I got the key from him. And then he took the car off the truck and I took the car. The condition of the car was good, the price was spot-on, they got it done in the time that they said they would get it done, and I didn’t have any complaints with the service.
