I had my car in for regular servicing with Subaru and told them that Protect My Car would cover the cost of the regular servicing. They found something wrong with the drive shaft and I asked them to call you to see if it was covered. It was so Protect My Car paid half and I paid half. The Subaru agent and your agent handled it completely and I was covered and very happy!

They had the lowest price. I got three cars covered. They looked for the best deal that they had for the year and mileage. I'm very satisfied with the coverage. Purchasing the coverage was also very easy.

Protect My Car is not making me very happy. I took a truck in and was gonna have it fixed. They sent the inspector out and they denied the claim. If I'd known what was wrong with the truck in the first place, I wouldn't have bought it. The guy told me everything was fine. It was running all good. But when I called Protect My Car before I even got it, they said, “Yeah, no problem. If you have any kind of issues, just let us know and we'll take care of it.” The service people let them know and they said no. I'm just going to cancel my contract. I'm done with them.
There was one person that tried to make everything right and that was the service guy that was there that writes up the contract. He called me back and asked me why I was canceling. He said, “How about we discount your deal?” But even being discounted, I’m still paying this amount every month for something that every time I take a vehicle in and there’s something wrong with it, they'll say, “It’s existing. We can’t do anything about it.” If I get a new vehicle, I'll think about it. But until then, I'm not going to.

When I signed up with Protect My Car, everything was easy and the rep answered all the questions. By the time I hung up, I didn't feel like I was lost. Their claim process is also a lot easier than other places, like CarShield. I had to jump through hoops with CarShield. The coverage of Protect My Car has also been awesome. I plan on keeping this warranty as long as I got the car.

When I signed up with Protect My Car, it was very easy. They were very nice and it was very pleasant and professional. When I submit a claim, there's a number to call on the back of the card and I just call it. Sometimes, I have problems getting through. But if I try and be patient, then I'll get through. They ask for my number and I give it to them. So far, they've taken care of my needs. My experience with them has been better than any so far that I've had. None of those have paid for my oil changes and Protect My Car paid for four oil changes and two tire rotations. I'm really pleased. Everything that they have done works for me. It's also not that expensive compared to some of them.

My car is not new so I was grateful that Protect My Car accepted me into the program. All the main things like engine and transmission will take some money if you have to have it done. For the plan that I'm on, Protect My Car will pay up to 75% of whatever needs to be done. Every time I call in, I get great people. I always talk to somebody very informative. They know their product. They know how to help and do this and that. They will stay on the phone with you while you're trying to find different locations. I used Protect My Car for the first time the other day and that was the greatest experience. They told me where to go and who are in there. I went there and didn't have to wait. They were already in their system and I got the oil change done. I had that full synthetic oil, so my oil change is a little bit higher. Everything they did was top-notch.

Setting up for the service with Protect My Car was real quick and easy. Somebody called me and let me know what the benefits were, how much a month, and I figured it'd be a good opportunity for me to take on. When you go to a lot of shops, they don’t have time to call, but Protect My Car has been great about that, like answering the phone and getting whatever the information has to be between the service provider and them. Everything's good. I appreciate Protect My Car.

So far, I like Protect My Car. The company seems like a real nice company to be with. I used it once when I got some tire rotation. I went wherever I got it, then they said everything went through good. You can depend on Protect My Car.

Spent months trying to get my refund back from a. Oil change and made multiple phone calls to confirm and reconfirm that you would provide coverage and even went as far asking the agent to book the appointment and confirm my out of pocket expenses. Got to the dealership and was informed that you would not be covering anything because it was considered routine mt and that was after confirmation by not 1 but 3 different agents over the phone. Immediately cxl the service and disputing all charges from your company.

You told Protect My Car multiple times that you would not make another payment until you received your reimbursement. Per your policy, all payments must be current for ANY claims to be approved, including reimbursements. However, we pride ourselves on doing the right thing, so on September 24th, Protect My Car issued a reimbursement in the form of a virtual Credit Card to your email.
You had an agent process your past due payment, and on September 29th, your shop called in a claim for repair of your Door Lock Actuator and replacement of your Timing Belt. However, at that time, your shop informed our claims department that the Timing Belt was still intact. You even told an agent that the Timing Belt replacement was for preventative maintenance, which is not covered under ANY policy. Our policies are intended to help our customers with mechanical breakdowns, which are almost always unexpected and very costly.

With a car warranty, I don't have to pay out all that extra money if something goes wrong. I used my Protect My Car once and I didn't have any problems. I went to my dealer and they called and got approval for the oil change, filter change and tires. So, everything was fine.

I've had no problems with every representative that I've talked to. I enjoyed talking to them. They're very friendly. This is the best plan to get. If something goes wrong with my car, Protect My Car is very nice and respectful.

When my transmission went out on my car, Protect My Car was there. I had to pay a pretty price, but it is what it is. Everything has been okay. I got so many reward points. But I don't know how to buy and redeem all that because I was at work when I made this initial thing. They keep saying, “Go to this, go to that.” But when I pull up their website, something else comes up.

I get my oil changed every so often and that's free. So, I'm enjoying my warranty well. Every time we call, customer service always does perfectly. I would definitely recommend Protect My Car. I told my granddaughter to get her insurance paid but I'm gonna tell her about Protect My Car to help out with her parts.

Free oil changes, so far. I have bigger fixes coming up, at some point. Also considering adding another vehicle to fix up. It’s too early to tell if what I’m paying is worth what I’m saving. I’m in no rush, though. Time will tell.

We have Protect My Car on my husband's truck. He didn't want to work on the truck himself. He wanted to be able to send it to somebody to get it fixed if something happened to it. Enrolling with Protect My Car was a little confusing though. It took a few minutes.

At first, I had a problem because my repair shop wasn't taking the warranty. I went to the dealer, and they weren't taking the payment over the phone. But my guy worked something out and then the repair shop was able to take it. I've had no problem since. I had an oil change and it was good. My last repair was about $2,000 and Protect My Car paid it. But they should cover more.

The signup process with Protect My Car was pretty easy. Their rep was pretty good. He explained everything. He made everything clear as far as how I was paying it. That was kind of what I wanted to know at that time because I knew I needed the service but I didn't have the time right then to go over everything. The only hiccup is when you go to any dealership where they're always trying to upsell you. They're going to make it seem like something is wrong. I have to play their game because they know they're going through Protect My Car, so they're gonna try to say the things that are wrong with the car are not covered by Protect My Car. Also I was confused that it said it covers the brakes, but then it doesn't cover all of the brakes. It doesn't cover pads and rotors.

I had never used any of Protect My Car's services and if it wasn't for needing protection on my car, I would never deal with them. Every time something goes wrong with my car, they don't cover that part. I'm putting out $3,500 a year or as long as it takes, and I still never get serviced. If I'm paying someone my money and they're not doing their job, then why should I pay them? They're supposed to take care what they're telling me they're gonna take care of when I bought the service. The service I’m supposed to have is the elite. That means the top of the line and that’s what I’m supposed to get. The way they write things down and the way they word things in their manual, “You’re saying that it’s this, but it’s part of this, but not all of that,” then they reject it and say, “Oh, no. We can’t cover that then. Because this didn’t do and that.”
I've had problems with coverage and it's not just with Protect My Car. I've had it with other companies too. One time, something broke and I had it fixed. When you're under stress with your car, you have to take your car to get something taken care of and it's a major part, you're not thinking that you have this extra coverage. I spent $800 to have that done then, I realized it. I called the company. They said, “We can't cover it now because of the fact you’re supposed to call us before they did it.” That pissed me off. That was early, so I try to remember. Certain things they say, “Well, that’s wear and tear,” and I can understand that part. However, when they're telling me they're not gonna cover what they told me they covered because I didn't contact them before the shop worked on it, that’s not nice at all.
The other day, I had to get my inspection done. Not thinking, I left my car at the shop and went home. The guy called me and said, “Your ball joint on your tire need to be replaced.” I’m not gonna pass inspection by that part being bad, so I said, “Well, go ahead and do it." I needed my car inspection to be done then after I was done paying the guy and got home, a day later, I realized maybe I could’ve used the warranty to pay for getting that part done. I don’t know if that is considered one of the wear-and-tear parts, so I never called them back.
The only one thing I have been doing on a regular basis is getting my oil changed. With the first couple ones, they said, "Rotate the tires,” and it was done. They paid the people that did the work and I didn’t see any issues with them. If I did, I’m the type of person who will tell people about it. They get my oil changed, but in essence, it’s not free because I’m paying for it every month that I put out $70-some.

I would definitely recommend this company. I recently filled my first claim last month and PMC paid it in full with no hassle. I had to have some front end work done and it was very costly, over $600 dollars. I also enjoy the free oil changes 3 times a year.

I needed to get a starter and I took my vehicle to the shop to get it fixed the same day. I had to pay the mileage and half of the bills. I had half a plan so I had to deal with it. Also, I want to get an oil change but the rep said he was gonna send me a card in the mail and I have to present that card when I go get the change. Other than that, I don't have any problems with Protect My Car. The warranty has done everything it said it would do.

I have always had a great experience with all aspects of your service except for just one time. I had lost my wallet and had to call the corporate office to change my payment. A young girl was trying to talk to me but the ambient noise was so distracting I could not understand her. She got rude then I got mad. Those call centers are sooooo annoying, especially for your senior market.

I had multiple things done and the repair shop had my car for almost a month. We would keep it for a day, and it would stall, and they would take it back. It was constantly in and out of the shop. The first claim was for a new starter, fuel pump, O2 sensor, and crank sensor then it still wasn’t driving correctly. We had to take it back and they had to replace something. We just got the car back to where it was fixed, but the shop couldn't have an agreement with the adjuster, so I had to pay a lot more out-of-pocket. I also need to figure out how to start the process to get reimbursed for my rental car.

Customer service is beautiful. I love Protect My Car. The oil changes have been okay. I had a few car problems but they dealt with them. But, I tried to get out of the contract but they said I couldn't. Other than that, Protect my Car is okay. It's pretty cool to have it anyway.

Since I’ve been with Protect My Car utilize the free oil changes. The price is reasonable. I have had no problems and I would recommend them to friends and family. I gave them a five star because they do great work and customer service is very helpful when you do speak with somebody.

It has been over 3 weeks now since our car broke down. It is still sitting in my mechanic's back parking lot. Unbelievable. The tow truck was supposed to tow it to another shop for repairs on the 30th of last month...and it's still sitting there. What a joke. Very unhappy with the entire experience.

My car was towed to Firestone because it didn't start. They found out something was wrong with the battery, so they had to change it then they did an oil change on it at the same time. This is my second time doing an oil change since I’ve gotten the coverage. There was no deductible on my car, but I had to pay for the battery along with the installation and Firestone charged me $180. It was very expensive, and I wish it was covered, but they told me it's not under the warranty. Other than that, it was a great service and I love the warranty very much.

However, to keep the policy cost down and provide help for the unexpected breakdowns, vehicle breakdown policies do not cover the cost of maintenance and wear and tear items, such as tires, batteries, gaskets, and seals. I have taken my car in for service because the engine light was coming on. The mechanic place told me, “Go ahead and leave the car. We’ll call and talk to them and let you know what happens after that.” So I left it and then they called me and told me my car was ready. I said, “Oh, so the engine light isn’t coming on? There’s nothing wrong?” They said everything was fine and that I needed to have an oil change and a tire rotation that Protect My Car paid for. But I told them that the paperwork that I received from the mechanic said that I needed a clamp sensor and a motor mount. Also, it needed to have some brakes done. Out of all of that, Protect My Car ended up only paying for a tire rotation and an oil change. I was really, really, really disappointed with that.
I called Protect My Car and I told them how disappointed I was with the service. Because the paperwork said that if there's anything going on with the engine that they would take care of it. But that was not what the case was. I was calling to cancel it. But they talked me into giving it another chance. So I said I was gonna take my car to another mechanic that I know that I have used prior and see what he says. I took my car over there and at this point, I had to leave it overnight.
When the mechanic called, he said I could pick up my car. I asked him if everything was okay and he said, “Yeah.” I asked him if he was able to do the motor mounts. He said there wasn't anything wrong with the motor mounts. I asked him if he was sure and he said, “Yeah.” He also told me that they would call Protect My Car. So I went and picked up my car. But at this point, I am still very disappointed because my light still comes on. Protect My Car did not protect my car. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Signing up with Protect My Car was easy. I like the effective policies that they have. Also, the way the reps help me find places to go get my car fixed is good. In case my regular warranty runs out, I have an extended warranty and it helps me save more money. This warranty company works on getting your car fixed if you have any issues with it. They don't have you on hold.

When my service representative at the Honda dealership came to me with a problem while I waited for them to change the oil, the problem was going to cost about $1000. I told him that I had Protect My Car and gave him my card. When he returned he said that's the easiest car warranty company he'd ever worked with. They paid the bill, I got my vehicle fixed, and everyone is now happy.

My experience so far has been great! I was able to get a great discount on some car maintenance. Two problems were fixed having to do with my charging system, and my break system in my 2006 Ford Taurus, so I was happy about that, and then I got a free oil change at Jiffy Lube, so I was happy about that, too. Now my car is running smoothly, so, I'm a happy camper.

Protect My Car did not protect me as I thought should of. I paid 200 for the deductible and spark plug work done on my 2016 Volkswagen Passat. It was 937& some change for the total of work completed. I ended up taking my car back a week later. Still today, my epc code comes on every 30 or so miles and I still have an oil leak that I can’t find.

On September 28th, your repair facility called to start a claim for one spark plug, four ignition coils, and a crankcase vent valve, none of which are generally covered under ANY service contracts in the industry. PMC has always been there for me in great times of need helping me keep my car going and safe. I've never had any problem getting my repairs done as long as I pay my monthly fee to PMC and cover my part for the parts and repairs. PMC customer service is fast, efficient and friendly. I love Protect My Car. Not only that I pay 70.00 a month but the free tire rotation and oil change comes in handy for me. Don’t have to pay outta pocket for anything and I’m so happy that anything didn’t happen to my car but if it do it’s just a 100 dollars for them to come pick her up and will give me a rental car until she gets out the shop.

The customer service is always great. Just last week, I had a few belts repalced on the compressor. There was also something else recently which was a valve cover gasket. I've had oil changes as well. Claims are easy and usually the mechanics just call Protect My Car and I don't even know about it. They just give me what I have to pay. Everything's been fine.

The first time I did a claim, it was a bit difficult, but after that, everything was smooth. Customer support is very good. They always answer and any questions I have, they try to get to the bottom of it. If the phone service would be a little better, than it'll be perfect. It's nice to get the lube, oil and synthetic but I've paid way more into any kind of repairs I needed where the warranty would be worth my while and a good purchase. Protect My Car is in business to profit. Ultimately, the consumer who purchases an extended warranty loses more times than not. They've got it down to a science where they're not gonna cover things that are more likely to go wrong but they'll cover the major things like the engine, transmission and electrical where the probability is slim that anything is gonna go wrong with the miles the vehicle has on. Also, when you get more mileage on your vehicle, now the tranny would go out and they would charge a lot more on it. I'm not dissatisfied but I don't think this warranty is benefitting me.

I really appreciate Protect My Car. I love their services, the customer service and the way they handle all my affairs when I'm in trouble. They have paid for everything that I needed to have done, from an oil change to internal mechanical problems, and they also let me know about trip interruptions if I ever needed their help. They have been patient with me when I didn't have money to make the full payment. They even gave me pandemic apology for a month. They've been, all around, great. I tell people all the time, “You need to get Protect My Car.” One friend I know got a Benz and he paid $500 for the window. I told him, “You should have had a warranty company. They would've helped you with that.”

Protect My Car took me after the other people hung up in my face after I told them I had 200,000 miles on my truck. I'm 75% covered and I enjoy knowing that it's there if I need to use it. When I went to Jiffy Lube the first time to get my stuff done, it was a little process. Now that I've been there for the second time, it was smooth and easy 'cause they already had my information. It hasn’t been long since I've been with Protect My Car and even though I haven't had to use them at all, except for an oil change, I'm satisfied. I suggested them to a couple of my coworkers because the number one factor was that Protect My Car takes cars that are over 200,000 miles. It's a give and a take of some cars work, while some cars don't. They even take it is a good deal.

I've had multiple claims and at first, Protect My Car was excellent. They said, “Okay, yeah, we're gonna pay with a credit card,” then they said they didn't pay with a credit card. They had an issue, so they had to send me checks. It took 30 to 45 days. After I put the claim in, it takes 30 days for them to issue the check and it would be the first of the month when they issued it. I also had my payments on automatic pay, but at one point, one of them didn't go through for some reason, so I had to re-initiate the automatic payment.
I appreciate the whole deal with my cars. The last year, my cars have been breaking left and right. One car goes in, the other one comes out, then the other one goes back in, and the other one comes out. However, the last experience with this 600 and some dollar check that I still haven’t received burns my biscuits. I had to pay the whole bit and that put me in a bind. I still think Protect My Car is not a bad deal though. It's just a matter of them going from excellent to very good to just fair.

However, USCG did make updates to their payment method, so reimbursement is the easiest payment option at this time. It does typically take around 30 days to process and issue a reimbursement check. The reps answered everything on point. Another thing is Protect My Car paid for my first three oil changes and the other ones never offered that. Getting an oil change was simple too. I just pulled right up, then I told the shop who I was with. They called them and verified everything. Protect My Car stood up to their word so far as I've been going. I’ve just been with them two months, but everything is looking good. I recommend folks. A lot of cars have over 200,000 miles and since they're the only one accepting it right now, they're a good way to go.

The customer service was excellent, and I like the rate that Protect My Car gave me. It fitted my budget. They cover all major components on the car and also give three free oil changes a year and two tire rotations. I like that. I used the warranty to get an oil change last week and I didn't have any problems on my car. They took care of it for me. It was easy. The only problem I have with them is when I call sometimes, they say there’s a five-minute hold or I can leave my number for them to call back. I already did that twice, and they never called me back.

The reps were so friendly and helpful. The first guy I spoke with who sold me the plan kept calling to make sure that I didn't change my mind and to make sure the plan was what I wanted. The enrollment experience was good and I got a free oil change done, which was convenient. I go to the dealership whenever it's time for me to get an oil change. The dealership calls Protect My Car, speaks with a representative, and through the policy that I have, I could get free oil changes. I'm satisfied with everything, so far.

Customer service is beautiful. I recommend them so much so that I referred eight people to them and everybody loved it.
My husband's car's air conditioning needed to be fixed and true to their word, Protect My Car paid for it. He only had to pay 25% of a 1000+ deal. I didn't have to do anything. The techs called Protect My Car who ten gave them some type of number and that was it. I went back and I had the techs give me some windshield fluid and it was all free. I'm very satisfied with this company. That's why when they take my money, I don't have a problem. Though they billed me twice this month, I'm sure it's just a typo. With a warranty, I don't have to worry about something breaking down. Also, Protect My Car has roadside service. They're doing good with me and I don't want anybody else.

I had some issues with the lights coming on on my dash. We have brought the vehicle in a few times a couple of times in the last couple of months and the techs had to change the shocks and springs in the rear. Protect My Car covered half of that. Also, my radiator and thermostat got changed out. The techs verified that Protect My Car was going to cover things and then they charged me half the price. I like the process. The only problem I have is when the techs try to call and it takes them an hour to get a hold of somebody at Protect My Car.

Protect My Car got me situated and everything was professional. They looked out for me. I had my car cut off on me on my way home one day. I had it towed to the dealership and they did a lot of work. I called Protect My Car and they called the dealership. The total bill was $1,100 and my warranty took care of 600 some dollars of it. Protect My Car is highly recommended. I've been telling my friends and family about it. I suggest that everybody get it for real.

Protect My Car sounded like a good deal and I needed it for my car. Anytime I need something, customer service was right on it. I used the warranty when I had to fix my alternator. The claim process went smoothly and Protect My Car had everything together before I got back there. I also turned in some oil change papers but I haven't received anything back. Other than that, everything has been pretty good.

Protect My Car paid for 40%. The process so far is all right. It's better to have some type of insurance instead of paying a full repair bill. But, as it's advertised, I'm only supposed to pay a downpayment and the warranty cuts the cost to 40%. It doesn't tell me that I have to use aftermarket parts. If we want to replace with good parts that came for the car name, we have to pay for it out of pocket. Protect my Car won't even pay for the difference on the part.

The rep who signed me up called me a few times and broke the coverage down. He explained everything and asked me to give Protect My Car a try. I was a little concerned and also, it takes a while for them to pick up. But I love the service and I've been telling a few people at work about them. Two weeks ago, my truck messed up. I just had to pay the deductible and Protect My Car got it fixed. But they took care of the bill before I even paid and they left the balance which was the $100 something deductible.
They really shocked me. They're better than what I thought they were gonna be. They're better than what I thought they were gonna be. This warranty is a lot cheaper than getting insurance at the dealership. It's two separate payments instead of having the warranty included in the car payment but that's better 'cause competition is out there. You can always change but I ain't planning on going anywhere.

The first guy I spoke to at PMC when I ended up getting the service was great. But when I was trying to go get an oil change, it was really confusing. The reps told me that I had to call in and then when I called in, they said that the repair shop has to call in. It was way more confusing than I thought it should be and the repair shop was really annoyed. They've been polite, it's just the system was confusing. The second time I went to go get an oil change, I called just to make sure. I called the shop owner and it was a little bit easier.
The other thing I didn't like is that when I first got it, they didn't quite explain wear and tear so well, especially if you're just a regular consumer that doesn't quite know about all that stuff. They highlight the great things, but they don't tell you that they're not gonna pay for wear and tear specifically. When I had some things in my car that I needed to take care of, the shop called and they were told PMC don't do wear and tear and it's not covered. I ended up paying like 1,200. Also, they only cover half of the stuff that they do cover. And it's only covered for certain miles and certain years and if I were to up the miles and years, I would be paying closer to like four grand. I don't think it is as helpful as they play it out to be with the terms that they have and in the end, it's not as convenient as I thought it was. I'm gonna be canceling it because it’s just ridiculous.

It was a very pleasant interaction with the rep when I first purchased a service contract but I do recall, she offered free tires in the package. I told her there was another company that was offering tire coverage for a limited amount of time so she offered me that. But then when I got my policy, it didn't include tire coverage. I spoke to a representative and they said they don't offer it. I thought I would be paying for something but I didn't wind up having it. It would’ve been helpful.
I had one claim recently and the process was different from what I experienced before, but it went through pretty smooth. I took my car to the dealer and I let them know that I was covered under Protect My Car. They thought it was like a rinky-dink place. They had never heard of it. The mechanic wasn't familiar with how they worked but the process went through pretty good. I just had to sign some paperwork and forwarded it over to the dealer once they did the work so that Protect My Car can authorize payment and they did. The dealership said Protect My Car is a good company. The guy said he has dealt with a lot other companies and this one is pretty easy. He thought that there were gonna be some issues, but everything went through fine.
One thing, though, is I had to rush out to the dealership with the paperwork in hand when I left work on Friday. They were saying that if it had been a Saturday, I wouldn't have been able to get my car back until Monday or Tuesday because there were no representatives working on the weekend to approve any work that they did. I wound up getting my car back on Saturday, which was fine. But I didn't want to go a whole weekend without my car.

It's hard to get ahold of someone to take my claims. I would like a list of the garages and dealerships that take Protect My Car. I had a hard time finding somebody that would take my claim and I had to go through a lot of people. But other than that, the service is fine with me.

The signup process was easy. Protect My Car gave me a lot of information. It was a gentleman when I first got started. They signed me up for a platinum package. They cover everything. I signed up one, then I signed up the other. It was a smooth process. It takes a long time to get somebody on the phone to pay for it sometimes. But they get on it once you get somebody on the phone. They come out if they need to and check the car. I put in a few claims where I had some issues where I went back and forth, and they rectified it and got back with me. It would be beneficial to add more staff, because it's a heavy call volume throughout the day versus in the morning. Other than that, they pretty much take care of me. Especially compared to other people that I know have dealt with car warranties, third party, and they haven't had a good experience. So, I've been blessed.

Protect My Car should revamp some of the things that they cover because my oil pan was worn out and that should be covered. I paid $59 a month and nothing ever went wrong with my car. They could have gone ahead and cover that oil pan plug. It's just not fair sometimes. Also, my mother couldn’t get the deal that I have so she was upset about it because she really wanted to switch over.

The individual I spoke with on the phone was trying to be facetious. I asked questions about the policies and procedures, and my first question was if the warranty was a bumper-to-bumper. He said that there was nothing that was bumper-to-bumper. I told him that it’s the term that most people use. I know it doesn’t cover the bumper but from the front to the back type situation. He proceeded to say that there is no such thing and it doesn’t cover my bumper. So, I didn’t appreciate that. Then, I asked what the total price was. I told him that maybe I want to pay it all as opposed to paying monthly payments. He said that there’s no way I’d be able to pay it up. I still purchased the warranty so it had nothing to do with the rep. I wanted that on my car and from the explanation or the things that I finally got out of him. I made him read it all to me. I know he wasn’t happy when we finished, but he learned something.
I still have the service and I’m okay with it. Everybody I spoke with since then has been wonderful. I finally used it maybe two weeks ago and it went wonderfully well. I had to have my motor mount repaired and there was a piece that the mechanic told me that had to be added on, and it wasn’t covered. That should’ve been covered because it was part of the mount but maybe I didn’t understand the mechanic. I’m okay with it and I got it done. The mechanic place and the representatives were fine but the person who sold me the policy was not anybody who impressed me. I told him exactly what I thought about him and his customer service skills, and that he needed to do a little better than he was doing. He needs to listen. I explained to him that I've been doing this and customer service is very important.
I have been a customer service representative for the majority of my career and it’s in the way you talk to people, answer them and allow them to ask questions. If you’re good, I wanna speak to your supervisor because I wanna compliment you. If you’re bad, I’m gonna do to you what you think you would. But other than that, I’ve had no issues with Protect My Car. I love it. My battery died on me and they came out and did that. I’ve said to a lot of people that they need to get the warranty. It’s worth having.

I've gotten two oil changes so far and I've had to get a roadside service and Protect My Car helped me out a lot. But I would like if they had services like tune-ups to see if everything in my car is good and working well. Other than that, their service is good.

The rep called me and got the information on the type of car that I drove. She explained to me that if I needed work done to my car, they would send the voucher and give me a card then all I'd do is show the card to the auto mechanic, and the auto mechanic would call Protect My Car and work out the payments. There would be no out-of-pocket expense to me. That was one thing that kind of piqued my interest.
I made a slight mistake and put half a pint of steering fluid where the transmission fluid went. When I was driving and I was going out of town with a friend, my car started making a smell. We pulled over to check everything. The oil was low, so we thought that it may have just poured over the boiler, then we put the oil back. As we were driving, the engine light didn’t come on till I got to my homeboy’s house. He knows a little bit more about cars. When I explained to him what happened, he said that I needed to drain out the transmission.
We went to Advance Auto. They checked it and ran all the codes. The guy told me that I just needed two parts to the transmission and once I put those, then everything will be cool. Then we took it to another friend’s house and he checked my car. I drained the steering fluid that was in the transmission and put brand new transmission fluid in. He told me to make sure I would drive slow when going home, so that’s what I did.
I waited 30 days and took the car to the dealership to get it looked at. Protect My Car was going to do it with Reliable Transmission Service, but for some odd reason, when the inspector came out, he decided that he wouldn't let them do it because I didn't have paperwork of when it was last serviced, so they didn't want to bother with me. I told him the car was given to me by my sister. I had not had it serviced outside of taking and getting inspections like putting oil. Then he kept asking how long the transmission was. I told him that my brother just put that in there before I got it. Matter of fact, the day he got the new transmission put in there was the day that the warranty was about to turn out so the transmission was new. Then the guy told me that I needed one, but I couldn’t afford that. I also never got any information on that.
My car is old and so it got a lot of mileage on it. That might another issue too. But I explained that to the lady in the beginning. When I'm talking to the females, I get through and understand. But when I talked to this guy, he kept asking the same questions. I just made that little mistake and apparently, that caused a problem and it kind of hurt me because I was counting on Protect My Car to fix the problem.

We had a claim where the transmission was replaced. Protect My Car paid half, and we paid half. Then we had one more on the truck just the last month and we thought the air conditioner system needed freon. We took it to a gentleman in Cameron and it was about $69, $70, and we paid that. But then, it wasn't that, so we ended up finding another car place and sent it to the gentleman there. He found the problem and he filed a claim on it. He got his money and we paid him what we owed him. We've had really good luck with Protect My Car.

When I had an issue, I took the car in to the company and they called Protect My Car. Then Protect My Car called me to confirm and to let me know what they were going to pay. They paid 75%.

Protect My Car's rep was very professional and polite. I liked her. At first, I had 50% coverage. They called back again because I was gonna go to a different company. The lady talked me out of it. She said she could upgrade me to platinum, then I would only have to pay 25%. I said I’ll stay with them. Anybody that has a lot of issues with their vehicle, I would tell them to sign up with Protect My Car especially elderly like me who makes somewhat of a living, but my car had a lot of issues.

I took the truck to get the oil change, tire rotation, check engine light, and a sensor was going bad on a wheel. Protect My Car made submitting the claim hard. They paid some of the bill but the people at Apple Ford had a little problem for some reason. I called Protect My Car back to find out if they got my claim from Apple Ford. But then one of us was mixed up on it. I've used them before and this was the first time that I heard that I had a policy that they will only pay half for the parts and half for the labor. So things didn't go as well as last year.

The cost of Protect My Car was a little bit better than others. However, I don't like the fact that I pay them all this money every month and I get my rewards, but in order to use the reward, I got to kick in more money. But I had some work done a couple of weeks ago. I had an SUV before, but the one I have is bigger than the one that I had and it was newer. I was expecting to pay more than what I was paying, but it's worked out for me.

I got my car at the shop and now, it’s right back in the shop. They’re saying it’s my converter brake. It's wasting money if I pay for it out of my pocket when I'm paying for this warranty. I'm supposed to call in for a claim and it just takes so long to do that, if the warranty covers the issue. Sometimes, I'll be on hold for a while, if I can even get somebody, even the dealership. The dealership might get Protect My Car right because I couldn't get them. I can be sitting out there at the dealership, and the person can be one phone, I'm on the other phone. It's a good thing if everybody is doing what they're supposed to do. But then when I call back, they're not doing that. It's like a holdup. We're at a standstill because it's not being followed all the way through. But then I always recommend somebody.

For the year of car that I have, Protect My Car provided the best coverage. When I set it up, it was a good transaction. It was a very satisfactory experience when I submitted a claim. I had a few issues with the car and they covered the expenses without any hassle. Having Protect My Car made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing that I'm driving and know that if an issue comes up, I don't have to worry about going out of pocket to pay for any repairs. I bought a new battery and it was a bad one. It messed up the alternator and damaged it. The reps tested it when they did the battery and they said that it was not doing quite as much charging as it should so I should keep an eye on it. And just before I went to go on a trip, the alternator didn't wanna do something. Then, it started and I took it to the garage. I said that the battery would take it 200 miles and they said that it would ruin the battery again. So, they did the new alternator. The garage called Protect My Car to see if the claim was covered. They paid for part of it and I paid for the other part. They were good and it was a nice process. People should work with them.

I did some research and came to the conclusion that Protect My Car was the best fit for me, being the protection and how reliable, and cost-wise. However, setting it up was a lengthy process. I had to give them a lot of information about the vehicle. And I had to go over different options of what plan best fit me. But it was also very easy. They have done when the guy that set it up said I would receive the paperwork and everything that he said that he would do. Also, I had to have two repairs done. My first one was breezy. But my second one was difficult. The mechanic said that he had a hard time getting someone on the phone. He would even sit on the phone and wait for someone just to pick up and verify that they would pay for the repair and what they would cover. Other than that, I have liked it so far. I get three free oil changes a year.

My transmission went out on the car and I gave Protect My Car receipts but I didn’t have anything showing that I had any work done to my transmission like flushing and maintenance. So, they said that they could not pay for the repair. So, I canceled my policy with them on that car. I was dissatisfied because it was fairly new and there was not a whole lot of miles on it. But it is what it is. I still have two policies with them, which one I might still cancel because they’re still saying I have to pay 50-50 and on the other one, I only have to pay $100 on it if it breaks down. Protect My Car did good with the Nissan though because my son who drives it had it fixed with no problem.

I was talking with Protect My Car on the phone and the policy they presented to me sounded really fantastic. The rep I worked with was cool. He tried to keep it as real as possible with me. He was breaking down everything that I need to know. The only problem I still have is I sent them an email of a receipt that I had for an oil change, and they’re supposed to send me a check, and I still did not get it. That was three months ago. I asked their customer service before and they said, “Oh, you got to wait 90 days.” I was like, “Y’all didn’t tell that when you first discussed this.” They said, “Oh we will send you the check.” But I have no problems with them as far as communication. They were really straightforward. They’re not disrespectful. They’re always really nice.

I did an oil change and went to the car dealer. The car dealer contacted Protect My Car and got the information. I didn't have to wait or pay for anything. They let me know when will be my next oil change. So far, I don't have any major problems. It gives me peace of mind in case I don't have any money and something comes up, it will be able to take care of. I don't have to worry about my car having to sit for weeks or months, and not able to drive if I don't have the money. Overall, I'm satisfied.

After scheduling my appt. at Nissan's dealership I was finally told they only cover current parts. Nissan did a diagnostic and told the appraiser that my engine was failing and that I needed a new one. Mark told me I didn't pay into the company long enough for them to fix it. There were other items that needed to be fixed under their diagnostic screening however they limited what they were going to allow. So now, I'm not pleased and was encouraged to drop the coverage by one of your employees!

Our management team takes all such statements seriously. Protect My Car makes every effort to assist customers with repairs to their vehicle, so there are seldom any issues with approving claims. After a review of your account, the only issues that were not covered were a hazard switch, clock spring, spiral cable, valve cover and gasket, and the pre-existing repairs needed for your A/C compressor. None of the previously stated issues are covered under any vehicle service contract. An independent inspector ruled there were no failures found with the transmission, so that repair was not needed. Everything went well with my claim with Protect My Car. However, they said they don't cover my door handle 'cause it's on the outside. But it's an electrical portion of the door handle that has to be removed, 'cause my keyless remote was not working for the door handle. But I'd recommend Protect My Car. It's great. I'm just trying to figure out if this claim can be processed or who I need to talk to about getting it addressed

I recently had an oil change and paid for it myself. I was just looking at the contract and I saw it. Now I'm having a problem with the car misfiring. I haven't had any response from Protect My Car as yet. I know I am paying my premium.

Whenever I had a problem, I would call the number of Protect My Car and they'd tell me if whatever I was trying to get done, was covered, or if it was not, then, I would take care of it. I had claims for the transmission and lower control arms and they covered them. I got a brand-new transmission and two brand new lower control arms. I'm very happy with their coverage. The claim process was cool, too. I didn't have to do anything. I just got to give the information over to the store or the place I was going to get the car done and then they'd just call me and let me know if it was approved or not.

I liked the offers that Protect My Car had and it was pretty cheap. At first, I wasn't sure if I would be able to afford it. We started off with 100 something dollars a month and I told the rep that I couldn't do that. Then he kept lowering it down to 70 something a month, and I agreed to that. It makes it a lot easier than to sit and try to come up with money any time my car’s about to die or mess up on me, especially with the oil changes and the tire rotation.
It was just that in the last oil change that I had, I was on the phone for 30 minutes, and nobody had picked out. I ended up paying it myself and that was frustrating. I've thought of calling Protect My Car before going into the place, and apparently, the place needed confirmation from Protect My Car to see that I'm still active and in the system, because sometimes the system doesn’t update. The mechanic told me that they ran into some issue before where they were seeing in the system that the customer is active, they put it through, then was denied, and the customer had already left. Other than that, I love them. It's just right now, I haven't been able to afford to make my payments, and the last two months have been hard. But I plan on getting back on as soon as my finances get back together.

Protect My Car is great. I've never heard of a car warranty as good as this one. First and foremost, I could get oil changes with this warranty. Basically, paying for the warranty every month is the equivalent of an oil change. There was a point with my job that I had to do a lot of traveling a couple of times a month. It made it make sense.

I got a regular oil check and they serviced my vehicle and I haven't had any problem. However, I thought that my calipers were covered. When I found out it wasn't, then they said, "Brake’s not covered, right?" So, I had to come out with $350. I need a clarification on what's covered and what's not. But I like that they cater to veterans and I like the experience with Protect My Car, so I’m gonna stick with it.

The first time something went wrong with my car, I went to the shop and Protect My Car denied the claim and came up with some lousy excuse why. I had a blown valve cover gasket, which is a very simple fix, and the shop beefed it up to add on a bunch of little stuff that didn't have anything to do with the mechanical functioning of the vehicle. The insurance people didn't like what they had even after sending an inspector.
Also, their reps kept passing me around like I was a trading card. The first dude told me he was gonna be my point of contact for this claim and then he passed me to another dude who said he would be my point of contact. Three agents later, I got the pass around because no one wanted to tell me the bad news that I was not covered. They said my service records didn't match the fact that whatever was wrong with my car was pre-existing. And I had to pay out of pocket for the initial tow to the shop and that was supposed to be covered under roadside assistance. They reimbursed me but it took over three weeks to get a check that nobody will cash. Protect My Car has been worthless.

Our management team takes all such statements seriously. Due to the severity of your comments, a thorough investigation of your account was completed. You signed up July 6, 2021, which began a 30 day AND 1,000 mile grace period. Your repair facility called PMC a little over a month later, on August 21, 2021, (when your mileage was only 257 miles outside of your initial grace period) reporting multiple repairs needed, including the valve cover gasket, with an estimated cost of approximately $3200.00. As with ANY engine repair, PMC hired a 3rd party inspector to confirm the facility's diagnosis was correct. According to the inspection report that PMC requested, there was oil found on the spark plugs, due to the plug tube seal failing. The plug tube seals are a part of the valve covers. It was also noted that the fuel injector connector on your vehicle was broken with NO mechanical failure and the differential bushings and driveline carrier were heavily worn which indicated long-term damage. The inspector also determined that the valve cover gaskets indicated long-term leakage. Therefore, it was concluded that the extent of failure on your vehicle did not occur within the 257 miles that your vehicle was out of the initial grace period, which does deem all repairs needed as being pre-existing. As for the reimbursement, our finance department works diligently to ensure all checks are sent out in a timely manner, but the normal ETA is 15-21 business days. The best way to get the funds would be to deposit the check into your checking account at your financial institution. And while we DO understand your frustrations, we fully stand behind the decision made by our claims department to not approve your claim. It is disappointing that you decided to discontinue your protection, but if you would like to have PMC re-evaluate your claim, please don't hesitate to contact Customer Loyalty, and an agent will be more than happy to assist you.

I had Protect My Car a few years ago and when I had something fixed on my car, they did it all the same day. The person made the call, what needed to be done, and PMC said okay and that was that. But with my most recent experience, it took them four days to even get it together. My power steering went out and PMC took too long to check it out and get back to the person that had my car to fix it overnight. I took my car in on Friday and PMC didn't come to check it until Tuesday. Also, I had to call them before they said okay to fix it. I went for four days without a car.

My most recent claim with Protect My Car was my suspension. I used the Sears Auto Center. Sears took care of the car and Protect My Car took care of Sears. I paid my deductible after the repair was done. Everything was good. The customer service staff has been very good to me and towards the mechanics that I've used Protect My Car to help them make the payment. Protect My Car had a better deal when I first contacted them. But when I finally got the time to sign the contract that they would change a little bit, the warranty itself isn't that bad. I found out my stepfather got a better deal. I got to pay 50%, whereas my stepfather only has to pay 25%. I was a little upset about that. But it is what it is. They were going to change me around, but nobody ever called back to do it, so I just left it as it was.

I talked to a representative who was really helpful. I'm on auto draft every month and Protect My Car put me on something I could afford. They even dropped the price a little bit for me with everything going on. I've used them few times and got my oil changed and had a few repairs. So far, I've had a really good experience and the process has been really easy. One time, I forgot I had the plan and had a spontaneous fix of the car. I'm pretty clear about the preauthorization. But when I went through the process, Protect My Car was real gracious in letting me have one get out of jail free card on that. So that was really cool as well.

We are always concerned that the cost of the coverage remains affordable for all our customers. Saving a substantial amount of money is exactly what a good coverage program is supposed to do. Everything was fine and easy when I had to submit a claim. But there was a long wait time on the phone. When our mechanic got in contact with somebody at Protect My Car, they said that they were short-staffed during that time.

We did have a 2-3 week span where a large number of Protect My Car staff had to quarantine for 2 weeks, so we were a bit short of staff at that time. The rep was awesome. He followed up and I'm very satisfied with my plan. Protect My Car saved me because I had about $3600 worth of work done and I came out of pocket less than $1000. The process was super smooth. I didn't even have to do anything. I called them, they gave me a number to call back and the mechanic shop was the one who called and did it. They said that they were on the phone with Protect My Car for a little bit, but for myself, I didn't have any issues.

My claim had to do with the transmission. The guy I spoke to made the process smoother. But I was tempted to cancel the whole thing because the rep I spoke to after him was so rude and not helpful. I hung up with that guy, I called right back, and I got lucky enough to get the guy I had the first time I talked to. He stayed on the phone and talked to the mechanic to get through the whole process smoothly. The warranty is pricey with how much you have to pay a month. But if you have issues, it evens out.

I told the rep the experience I was having. He asked me what the mileage of my car was. I told him. “Oh, yeah, we can cover you.” I said, “Okay. Cool, great. Because I’ve been trying to look for an extended warranty for my car since the dealership that I had purchased my vehicle from had closed down.” He said he could get me in on an offer. I asked how much it was. And it was because the Buccaneers were going to the Super Bowl, I got in $50 downpayment and $90 a month. I’ve been with Protect My Car ever since.
My first experience in using their services was a long delay. I was sitting in the mechanic shop at 8 o'clock that morning. It took them all day to get an approval. I ended up leaving the shop at 6 o'clock. On the website, it said that Protect My Car opened at 8 o'clock. When I called 8 o'clock, it kept saying, “Well, press this number for something, press this number for this.” When I got to the second step, it disconnected me. Their website said 8 o'clock, but they opened up lines at 8:40. After that, I got transferred to somebody. The rep said, “We'll give you a call back.” I waited and waited, no call back. By that time, I was aggravated. I waited until 9:15 to call again, and I didn’t get a human response until 9:40-ish. I was livid by that time. That was the first incident, and I was livid.
By 11 o’clock we finally spoke to someone. I said, “Well, I've been here since 8 o'clock, is there any way that you can speak to a mechanic while he’s here while I’m on the phone with you?” “Oh, no. They have to call from the landline.” I said I didn’t want to sit there and wait another three, four, five, six hours, waiting on them to respond back or pick up the phone. So he ended up calling after 12 o'clock. Didn’t get any approval until after 2 o'clock. They asked unnecessary questions when I only wanted one specific thing done. “If the motor locked up, can you work on the motor?” I said, “It has nothing to do with what I need done. Why are you asking these unnecessary questions? Some questions don't need to be answered due to the fact that I’m specifically giving you what I mean to be handled.”
I’m sitting on the phone since 8 o'clock this morning. I constantly called Protect My Car, but the automated systems kept hanging up. I called them to get someone. I was transferred five different times. I felt like no one wanted to talk to me, or wanted the business, or wanted to do what they wanted to do. But we got that done. The second time, I thought my transmission was getting ready to go out but my fluid was low. I talked to someone 12 o'clock back then, when I was sitting at the shop at 8 o’clock. I left there 5 o’clock on the second day. Protect My Car is a good policy, but I couldn't get to someone and get an approval. If I had trouble using the services my first and second time, I wouldn't recommend anyone for the simple fact that it was like, “Tag, you’re it. Tag, no, you’re not it.”

Protect My Car provides for oil changes and other issues that may arise. The air conditioning stopped working and it wouldn‘t blow cold air. The guy said, “Oh, you can't call me. The mechanic has to call me directly.” That was a bit of a pain in the neck. I said, “I'm sitting right with the mechanic right here in the shop.” The guy said, “Tell the guy from the shop you have to use our parts people.” The mechanic said, “I know what parts this vehicle needs, and I don't want to use your parts because you'll get the substandard, cheap ones.” He stuck to his guns. Finally, Protect My Car said okay. They helped. But I had to pay half.

Their rep was fairly on point from what she told me but with the policy that I got, I thought it covered the whole cost of the repair and not a portion. I had one issue where the mechanic called me and told me he couldn't get paid until I paid. I just so happened to be a truck driver at the time and I was on the road. I couldn't pay until I was back from work. I didn't find that out till down the line, but it was cool. The majority of the stuff that I've tried to get done to the car wasn't any problem. I would recommend them to somebody looking for a warranty company.

My car just shut off out of nowhere so I had to call the roadside assistance. Then, I had to take my car to Firestone because the alternator had gone out and I needed a new battery. The claim process was very convenient. I talked to the guy that actually did the claim with the specialist and he said that usually, he doesn't work with people who have a warranty like this because they try to send checks or they try to not pay him. But he said that with Protect My Car, he was able to be paid right on time. He said it was fast and he would use it again. Also, I got the car back the same day I put it in the shop and that kinda made me glad that I ended up getting Protect My Car.

When an issue occurs, I go to the dealership and they tell me what needs to be repaired and what ways I can go about repairing it. Then, I get them to call Protect My Car. They go through an exchange to figure out how prices can be met at the most effective for each company and what parts are being replaced. My most recent claim was for the power steering and it's been pretty cool since the repair.

Protect My Car doing the advertisement through the radio seemed more professional than any other car warranty. The rep that I dealt with when I was signing up told me as much as I have to know. He was good and more honest. It was like I was getting the employee feedback, plus I was getting his side, like if he didn’t work there.
I’ve submitted a claim about my axle and ball joint, and it went pretty fair. They didn’t cover my axle. But they paid for some of it, which definitely helped me. Also, I got an oil change and I had to pay for it. Protect My Car said they would reimburse me, but I still haven't received it. It’s been three months already. But it was my fault because I should have checked in. Other than that, they reimbursed me on my tow, which came back two weeks later. So they’re pretty good on the communication part.

I had a situation where I took my car somewhere to get serviced, and we paid the guy, but none of the work was done. When I called Protect My Car and explained to them the situation, instead of them trying to come up with a solution, they told me that we're just gonna have to take it as a loss. They also asked why I didn't check to make sure that the repairs were done. I said, “I’m not a mechanic. I don't know. I made this assumption based off the fact that my car is not driving any better than what it was when I brought it in here." When I took the car to another shop, and I paid out of pocket myself.
I would not refer anyone to Protect My Car because they don't have a way to guarantee their customers that when they get their vehicles back, they don't have a way to guarantee that the vehicles are going to come back done and right. I just don't feel like it's a safe process. I also feel that I have to make a claim with the Better Business Bureau, and possibly, maybe contact the attorney general. If I drop my car off somewhere and I'm paying for a standard warranty, the warranty company pays for majority of the charges, I just pay for my deductible.
You would expect your vehicle to come back completed and done. It’s going through a certified shop, but they had no way to protect me as a customer. They didn't even have a way to protect themselves as a business. They just said, "Oh, the best we can do is try to ask for our money back because the work wasn’t done." I said, “That’s it? No investigation? He's just going to get away with taking over $2,500?” So, I don't think Protect My Car is a good extended warranty.

When I talked to Protect My Car, they seemed to care and they're not just in it to get my money. I’d pay for it for two or three years and then, it's without payment for the last two or three years. I like that. Then, when I had my car serviced, they didn't give me and the mechanic a hard time. The mechanic did a whole diagnostic to find out what exactly was going on with the car and Protect My Car covered it all, except for one piece that was not on the list of things they cover. But with everything else, I only had to pay my $100 and I was good to go.

The last time I took in the car to fix the starter. But I know other people whose warranties don't get a deductible. I wonder why I didn't get that type of warranty.

Once I called in, I spoke with a gentleman that set my account up. I spoke with two different people since I've been with Protect My Car and they were awesome. I was gonna leave because last year, during the pandemic, I was let go from my job due to budget cuts. The lady that I called back in and spoke with worked it out where she still kept my same plan but was able to make my payments more feasible for me. I’m really pleased with them. I just had another $3,000 repair and they covered most of it. It wasn't that huge chunk out of pocket. My mechanic spoke with them and they were really pleasant to her. She even complimented their customer service as well.

I appreciate Protect My Car. They were the only one that covered my car with that many mileage. I understood that electronics would be one of the things that was covered but when I did ask them would they pay for that if anything happened in the future, the reps said no. It’s one of the major parts of the car and that's one of my big expenses which my last warranty did cover. That's my only complaint.

Protect My Car told the dealership that they would pay for the claim. But when we arrived at the dealership, they told us that they would not so I had to pay the 365. After talking to Juan and Frank, they were able to go ahead and get everything fixed. But I had to wait for Protect My Car to mail me a check, which took a very long time.

I’ve used Protect My Car several times. It covers a lot and they are good to work with. We had a hole in the water reservoir. It wasn’t running hot, but it said it was. We had to keep putting water in it. The coverage came through, and I get oil changes too. They also fixed my tires before. Protect My Car always got right to the point and handled business right away.

The windshield on the back of the car wouldn't work and it was fixed. I had to pay out of pocket for most of everything but the claims process was very easy. Everything's been good with Protect My Car.

I got work done with Brake Masters and Protect My Car claimed that Brake Masters didn't do their job because the same parts that Brake Masters was supposed to fix is still messed up. The car is in the shop now and I have to pay cash for the transmission. I have to get the car and go to Brake Masters and have them fix the parts that they couldn't fix. But Protect My Car has covered my oil an gasket, my oil change, my shocks and a couple of things in the past.

I was looking for a cheap package that I could afford monthly and Protect My Car gave me what I was looking for to protect my car. The only thing was that when you’re filing a claim and they’re calling exactly the claim office, it takes too long for them to answer the phone. It took almost a day for me to file my claim. I kept calling the people that fixed my car. They kept calling and they weren't getting any answer. But I'm happy with the service I've received so far.

Protect My Car wants to get repairs done on the car when they can’t afford it. They're not being done anytime I call in. I decided to not cancel the policy, but someone in their office decided to remove my automatic payments, so the payment didn't go through. Now they're calling me and were like, “Are you going to make a payment?” I don’t drive my car much. So, by the time an engine decides to fall out of it, I've given this company over thousands and thousands of dollars before something major happens.
I did a claim on my sunroof because that's an expensive one. Then I wanted to get my air fixed in my car, and I was like, “Oh, yeah. Eric says it's gonna fix the air. They got me on this one.” I took it down there and they denied the dealership that repair also because it was just the door shutter. The dealership charged me $750 to fix. Protect My Car covered the diagnostic fee. I appreciate it, but this is not what I signed up for at all. I am not very dissatisfied because they did pay the diagnostic fee but it still just doesn't take up for everything else.

Dealing with customer service has been great but there were times I was waiting on the phone for quite a long time before I got an answer. The last claim I had was for my alternator and some radiator leaking. That last one is when I had a lot of trouble getting in contact with Protect My Car but it went smoothly once I got a hold of them. What needed to be covered was covered but in the advertisement, they claim as if they cover everything. They only cover at least 50% so their advertising is confusing. It says that I wouldn't have to worry about any payments for car repairs but I paid half of the amount for the car repair service. Still, there were times where I wouldn't be able to cover my policy and they were able to work with me where I could put the payment off for the next payment period. I find that very helpful because things would pop up and I'm glad the company would work with me on that.

The AC stopped working on the car. Finally, I had to do the whole system. I had a transmission go out also. Everything tried to go out but Protect My Car had no problem with it. They took care of it. You gotta get Protect My Car.

I liked Protect My Car's low monthly cost. They gave me a good deal that I found reasonable, so I just went with them. I've had the air conditioning unit worked on and had the gaskets replaced. Protect My Car did what they said they would do. I’m on this special plan where they cover 50% and I cover the other. So, it worked out. It lessens the burden on me.

A lot has been going on with my car that I didn't expect would happen so soon. Right now, it’s in the shop and I'm still waiting for it to get fixed. The only thing is it has been taking a while. It's been there for two months. The mechanic from the shop was letting me know that they were trying to get in contact with Protect My Car. At first, they weren't getting any responses so that gave me a little red flag. They were delayed a week or two to send someone to inspect the vehicle. Then it was another week or so for them to approve it. There's lack of communication ‘cause I was told then that I would get a call from them, but I never got one. But before then, I've used Protect My Car at another shop and it worked out perfectly fine. Protect My Car has been very helpful.

I heard a noise that was somewhere under my car. I took it in to the car place. It was some kind of ball joints, wheel bearings. They quoted me a price. And I said, “Okay. I have a car warranty. Can you call them to see if it's covered?” And they called the car warranty coverage. Protect My Car negotiated the price down, and then I paid 50%. So, it's exactly what that salesperson said to me on the phone, that they would try really hard to reduce the price, and then I pay 50%. It worked perfectly. I got my car fixed.
Protect My Car is affordable. And it's a smart thing, because you never know what's gonna go wrong with your car especially if it's a used one. Mine's a Toyota. So, I thought it would be good to go forever. And things happen, and a lot of us can't have a high monthly payment. So, I pay a low payment. And I pretty much know that God forbid anything happened, that Protect My Car will pay for me and I will only have to pay 50% of it.

Protect My Car is more reliable and easier to deal with than a lot of other providers. Anything I need help with or if I lost my car’s charge, they kind of break it down for me and let me know what's going on as far as pricing. I had one incident where someone tried to overprice me, and the customer service made them go down on the price to make it more affordable. Their process is simple too. I had another provider and had to call customer service first. It was a lot more to it, especially with the two vehicles that I have covered. I like Protect My Car a lot and did recommend another person who bought the coverage.

The vehicle is an older car and it needed an extra warranty. I tried CarShield but didn't like it. I didn’t get a good vibe from the CarShield people but I had a good vibe from the people that I was speaking to with Protect My Car. I love them. I'm very happy with the plan I chose and I’m about to put my next car into it. Protect My Car takes care of everything. They just call me and let me know, “You can pick up your vehicle. It’s paid for.”

Protect My Car's reps said that they cover rental cars but they don’t. They make you pay for it, then they reimburse you. I'm disabled and I did not like that at all. I can't afford a rental car which is very expensive. Other than that, I've had to use the warranty one time for a repair on a clutch slave on my gear shifter and they handled it really well.

I didn't like my experience with Protect My Car. I had work done to my car and was told that Protect My Car was going to pay the larger amount. But I ended up paying the larger amount. I cannot afford to afford that, so I’m no longer with Protect My Car. I should have had the lower price to pay.

Protect My Car was not only affordable, they were flexible too. They were able to provide an all-inclusive package for exactly what I needed and for a good price. They also provide great customer service. They're generally able to help me out right away and do what they can. However, sometimes it's a little bit difficult with the timing that they may open. If I go to ask for a service first thing in the morning, the claims department isn't open yet. They don't open till 10 and I have to wait for them to open to go ahead and complete the service.

Whenever I have a claim, I go to my dealership and they tell me what's wrong. I tell them that I have a Protect My Car warranty and they ask me for the number. Then they call them and they call me back to let me know it's been taken care of, and it's done.

Protect My Car's coverages were more convenient than CarShield’s so I switched over. Their customer service was great. They were very detailed on what was covered and what wasn’t. They broke down the rate of pay if I needed some parts worked on. When I have a claim, I just call and tell them what's going on with my vehicle. They tell me, "We need you to take the car and we'll see what's covered and what's not covered. If you want to get it fixed, you can take it to whoever the person is or the company that you want to get it fixed at. They'll have to give us a call and go through the process of that.” The company fixes my car wherever I take it at. Then Protect My Car contacts them and gives them the okay on what parts are covered with them. They break down what amount they're paying out and the amount that I have to pay. Protect My Car is great as far as coverages even with some high mileage. Even the monthly rate is good.

Three weeks ago my truck broke down on the side of the highway. And Protect My Car helped with towing and helped me pay for the fuel pump to get replaced. Everybody has been friendly, nice, helpful. I've been so satisfied that everybody I talked to, I suggest getting Protect My Car.

The first experience with Protect My Car was a little frustrating. Our check engine light kept going on. It was EVAP, which means something between your front bumper and your back bumper is triggering this response. Our mechanic who's a third generation mechanic in the town where we live is very knowledgeable and trusted but could not figure out what it was. He did a smoke test where he was using a machine that generates smoke, and he was putting it in different areas and looking for the smoke to get blown out by something. If you got a hole in your tire, you can take the tire out and stick it in water or put soapy water on and find it. But when it's some other kind of mechanical thing, you can’t always take it off. It's got to stay connected to be able to find the leak.
He found the leak. It was at the top of the gas tank where the sending unit that tells you how much gas you have. Apparently, it was a crack in the tank itself. He said probably the device itself has been damaged so he’d have to replace the sending unit and the tank which was the only way to repair it. He cooperated in making the phone calls ‘cause sometimes you’d sit for 10, 15 minutes waiting to get somebody to pick up. That should not happen when you're asking the company who's gonna do the repairs. He had to sit there and wait on hold till somebody at Protect My Car answered the phone. That was kind of embarrassing for us. Ultimately, Protect My Car covered everything but the gas tank which is the most expensive component. I ended up paying the lion's share of the whole thing and here I've been paying this policy for a couple years and never using it.
I did have a second experience where I went in to get our tires rotated before we were going to take a trip from New York to Michigan. I took them to a pretty good sized regional tire company in the northeast, Mavis. They were pretty thorough. They pulled off one of the rear tires and said, "It's got tread on it, but if you look right here, there's a bald spot about two, three inches long, and it is showing cords of the tire." I told them to put new tires on. Then the service guy said, "I want to show you something else." The vehicle is a front wheel drive and coming right out of the transmission are the axles, and they have a rubber boot around the joints. It's not a straight shot. It has to come straight out of the engine but has to dip down three or four inches then it has to straighten back out again. There are joints at those two locations and there are rubber boots around those. There's grease in there to keep those joints greased up.
He said, "If you'd look, you can see grease sprayed all around in the wheel well." I asked what do they do about that. He said, "We can put a new boot on and repack it. It's not the best way and it's a lot of labors but it's something that we could do. I gave Protect My Car a call. The best way to fix it was buy a new axle, and they covered it. In that respect, they did it right.

My air condition compressor went out. I called Protect My Car and explained to them what I needed and they took care of the rest. The repair shop called them and they did everything over the phone. Saved me a lot of money. Go for it.

Protect My Car seemed to be the best salesperson and price that I could find while I was looking. I did a front axle joint and two rear bearings. Plus, the oil changes and stuff that come with it. It's a pretty good operation so far.

I'm very disgusted with Protect My Car right now ‘cause they won't cover my transmission. It went out 15 days ago and I had to wait about six days for the inspector to come and look at my car. Then I'm told that Protect My Car can’t take care of me at all because I had to have regular service on my transmission every 45,000 miles. Because of that, I have to cough up $6,200 for a rebuilt, remanufactured transmission. I feel like I've been ripped off. I had to completely close out my wife's IRA for this.
When I first took my transmission in about 15 days ago, the people at Protect My Car was asking for all my service records on my car, like oil changes. Right then and there, you would think that someone at Protect My Car would say, “The reason why we're doing that is we're looking if you had any service done on your transmission.” But no one pointed that out to me. After spending 53 years in this planet and over 35 years driving cars, I have never once, even on any car that I've ever owned, had to have regular checkups in my transmission. When someone says you need regular checkups on your car, you think it’s tires, oil change, a tune-up, spark plugs, wires, cables, etc. When someone says regular service, no one would ever start to think he needs regular service in his transmission because transmissions usually don't go out for the entire life of your car. That's a stupid loophole.
When you first sign up with Protect My Car, you would think right then and there that someone would tell you you’re gonna need regular checkups on your transmission. Since I'm a carrier and using it as a fleet vehicle especially, you would think so Protect My Car would actually point that out to me but no one did. I wasted about $1,000 on monthly payments for nothing.

While we do understand your frustrations and apologize for any inconveniences you feel you have been put through, Protect My Car terms of coverage require that ALL of our customers maintain and service their vehicles in accordance with their vehicle manufacturer's guidelines. As your vehicle has been noted as being used commercially for long distance deliveries, it is VERY important to maintain ALL services needed to keep your vehicle in proper working order. Therefore, at least TWO transmission services should have been completed from the time you purchased the vehicle to now. However, after completing a thorough evaluation of your account, it was found that proper service was NOT maintained on your transmission. Also, looking at past claims, we have assisted with repairs to your cooling system and provided you with the maximum allotted oil changes for your first policy year. We truly strive to approve every claim that is submitted, but sometimes, extenuating circumstanced prevent that. My son had an account with Protect My Car and he told me about it. When I bought the policy, the rep explained to me the account, gave me a summary of the policy and what I was going to get and how much it was gonna cost. She didn't really go into detail of what it would cover, but she said it was one of the better plans. She also said she would send me the information via email and that's what she did. Recently, I had the dealership call them because I needed some work done and they were able to get through. I called prior to ask if the service would be covered and the claims person told me it would be. All I needed to do was call. Protect My Car has been a lifesaver for the car that I have and I would refer them. It's a good plan and my husband has it too.

I had my oil changed, tires rotated, and I had some issues with my coolant. Protect My Car only took care of 30% whatever the cost was. I also locked my key out my door and they came quick on that. And they changed a tire for me.

Recently purchased a newer vehicle to replace the one we had for 13 years. Our finances did not allow for a new car so we got one we could afford seemed in good shape. This one has 122,000 miles and no warranty. I started looking at warranty prices at several companies and the price was more than our car payment. Finally contacted PMC and found a plan I liked and a price that affordable to someone such as us who are retired and live on fixed income. Hopefully we won't have a claim for a long time, but I feel confident PMC will handle it as should be.

Protect My Car has been great and in taking the car under their warranty, I can take the car to three oil changes per year. I keep my oil changed, which is the agreement that I have with the manufacturer who placed the new engine in the car. As long as I do it on a regular basis, they will honor their warranty on the engine. Also, on those visits to get my car oil changed, I had them check everything else. If there's anything else that's going on, I get that repaired as well. Knowing that the extended warranty that I have with Protect My Car is available and that the oil changes are offered at no additional charge is a very good experience.

The rep offered me a deal with all the different stuff and I couldn't turn it down, and I'm glad I got it. It covered things on my call. It gave me a rental car. It had roadside assistance. They were always there when I needed them. I had a situation not too long ago where my car ran hot on me. I was in downtown Atlanta, and I called Protect My Car. They sent in a tow truck to tow my car to where it needs to go. But in the meantime, my car cooled down and I was able to crank it up, and I drove it to the dealership myself. When I got to the dealership, they called the dealership and spoke with them, and they covered everything. They put me in a rental car. I tell my friends about it all the time. With everything they cover, it's real good. I'm very satisfied.

Protect My Car has been pretty amazing for all the repairs we've had to do. I've had other extended warranty companies in the past and they always try to negotiate down. Every time I've gone through Protect My Car, they've just been like, "Okay. Yup. We'll cover 50%." I have a '05 Chrysler Town and Country. I had some suspension work done. Some of it was not covered because it was just routine maintenance, and some of it was. But then the stuff that was covered was good. I had an oil change with it, too. Claim process is very easy. You just give your information to the guys at the shop and they call in and they've been very helpful. I've had a great experience.

The first time when Protect My Car spoke to me, they told me what they covered. I used them one time. They didn't pay certain things, and I had to come out of my pocket. I had to pay the brakes in them because they don't pay for that. They should let people know that they don't cover certain things. But maybe I just didn't understand it.

Maintenance of a vehicle is something you can schedule and plan for financially. These services are readily available at most repair shops at a discounted rate to attract new customers. To keep the policy cost down and provided help for the unexpected breakdowns, vehicle breakdown policies do not cover the cost of maintenance and wear and tear items. Adding these services to a policy would make the monthly cost of the policy too expensive for most people, especially for those on a budget. I didn't like when one vendor stalled me out for a week before they got back and contacted Protect My Car. They stalled me out to get the rental car and they only had to pay for the rental car for a week. Other than that, it's excellent with Protect My Car. I’m trying to convince my friends to get that stuff on their car because they’ll need it.

PMC covered a few of the things that were wrong with my car and it has come in handy. But they didn't cover the major one - a rack and pin - and I had to pay for it out of pocket. I already shelled out almost $800 between the deductible and the part and if something goes wrong in three months, it’s on me. Also, my AC is broken and all it is is a wiring thing with the hoses underneath and that's not considered covered. I wish other things that seem to fail more than what they cover were covered.

Protect My Car has better deals than other providers. Their reps were very knowledgeable and professional, and they sold me on what they had to offer for Protect My Car. Any questions I had, they were able to give me my answers and the options I had. After I got all the information I wanted, I told them I wanted their plan. So, it was easy.
There was a funny noise that was on my truck and I took it to a service, and I let them know what's going on. They told me what was going on and what the cost was. I let them know that I had Protect My Car and to contact them to see if they would cover some of the cost for my repairs. They contacted them. They said they would cover 50%. Once I paid my half, they contacted Protect My Car, and they covered the other half. It was very smooth and easy to get the coverage. I'm very satisfied.

Getting an oil change through Protect My Car was originally kind of difficult because I went to this oil change place here in the city and the gentleman that was responsible for it was not aware of how the program worked. So, he had to ask his manager about it, who did know, and they just advised me to call. I had to call to ask Protect My Car what to tell them what to do. I gave them the number to call back so they could get the information. So, that did take a little while and I kind of held up the line a little bit to get that straight. But once they realized what they needed to do and that they actually had a fleet account with Protect My Car, things were fine after that.

Protect My Car is good, but if your policy isn’t current or if something’s going on, they don't pay. They wait till you pay them and then they help you, and that's very inconvenient. I had an oil change setup for next Friday. But I needed my oil change now, so I had to pay Protect My Car early to get my oil changed. That's stupid. So after I get my oil changed next month, I won't be with them no more.

Whenever I had to make a repair on my vehicle, Protect My Car paid their half just like they said. I've had a few claims. I keep their card in my car with their information on it, and so I just take it to a repair shop or a mechanic and I let them know that whatever repairs they need to make, they need to call the number on that card and work it out with them. They always did that. As soon as the repair shop called them, they would immediately call me and confirm that. Once it was confirmed, they'd pay their half, I'd pay my half, and it would be good.

When I was purchasing the extended warranty from Protect My Car, I was speaking to someone in Florida and we had a nice conversation. She was on point with all the information and she made me very happy. It was a good experience and she helped me pick the best option I had. I first started in the first tier and then I decided to go with the top tier. So, she helped me set all that up. It’s simple to file a claim as long as you speak to the garage that you're working with and make sure that they accept it and that they accept the funds from them. The first step was easy. They told me to talk to the garage and make sure everything's good with them. If they need information, I should give them Protect My Car’s number and they’ll talk to them. So, that's what I did. My mechanic spoke to them and he said that everything was set up and that he knew what he got to do.
I've seen Protect My Car twice. Once, there was something with my engine. It was $900 and I ended up paying 425, which was when I decided to go with the top tier they had, which you pay 25%. This last one that I had, my brakes and I had to get a couple of things done and the total was 1,800 but I ended up paying 25% of that. So, the warranty helps. They take out $79 a month but it pays off in the end when I need to take the car in and get it fixed. So, it is worth it. Protect My Car is a good service, especially if your car's getting a little older and you're going to need some major maintenance. If you want to save some money, go with Protect My Car because they got some good programs and you choose whichever one that is eligible for you. You should go for the high tier. You pay less and it's not bad. Plus, I'm a veteran, so I got a discount.

I was a little concerned because I had a couple of pre-owned cars before that the repairs on them were really expensive. It’s easier to make payments than to pay a large sum of money like that, especially when you don’t even know if there’s a chance the repairs might not be fixed right. So when I heard about Protect My Car, I thought it sounded like a really good idea. I knew it was kind of a risk because I've never heard of them before. Anytime you hear something like that, you don't always know if it's going to be a good thing to do or not.
I had just gotten this car, but I had taken a job where I was driving a lot because I'm a delivery driver. Protect My Car covers three oil changes per year. Of course I have to get more oil changes because I drive too often. Then I have to get my tires rotated more often because I’m driving more. So, it made sense to me. Then I figured, if anything happened in the future, I thought that that would be a good deal.

I had a sensor go out. The speedometer quit working. I brought the car to the shop. I called Protect My Car, and the shop took care of the rest. They contacted Protect My Car, and everything went great from there. They just called me what it was done. The only thing was, instead of a little weekend job, it ended up being a month job trying to get parts. They have that rental car insurance on there. I would just let people know ahead of time exactly what it does and doesn't cover. They said it was a rental car. Then when I called to find out about it, it was $30 a day. And you pay and then get reimbursed. I would just let people know that ahead of time. Luckily, I have a spare vehicle. But if I went and got one, it would have been 30 days at $30 a day. It adds up quick. But so far, having Protect My Car has been worth it.

I had a car that was reaching a limit of what they started at, so I just went with Protect My Car and put it in, and I've been with them ever since. They’re good. They've handled all my situations, so I can’t complain. I had a recent claim. The auto body shop called and told them what happened. They called me and told me what needed to be paid, we agreed and it was paid. My car has been fixed. AC works well now, and all the heating and cooling works well. Protect My Car helped me out well when I had a problem with my car. They’re prompt. As a matter of fact, I'm about to have my girlfriend's car put on Protect My Car.

Protect My Car explained to me that they can kind of help me out with the car. In the beginning, it sounded pretty good. Over time, they've helped quite a bit. But with the major stuff they've helped with, it was like pulling teeth to get help. That was the best part I didn't expect. As far as doing claims, I’ll go get the car looked at at the shop. Then I’ll call Protect My Car and say, “Hey, extended warranty, I need X, Y, and Z done.” I get all these questions about the car. It’s the same stuff that I've talked about in the beginning. But it's like every time, I always get grilled about different things. One time, I've been told, “No, we're not going to help you with it.” I have a situation now with them where I'm still waiting on them to call me back because I had to pay out of pocket for an emergency repair I needed. It’s always the same thing. I didn't expect such a hassle.
Protect My Car could be up front. A person shouldn't have to go through all that every time they request their help with the service. If there's emergency situation and if it’s over the weekend, they should consider that. We are paying customers. We are paying this out of our pockets, too. We are paying monthly and paying on the car. So, it's not like Protect My Car is really paying that much more than the consumer. They could make things stress-free and they could be considerate.

I just had my oil changed through Protect My Car and I had Freon added to the air conditioner. I did also have another claim. A guy was on the phone with the people from Protect My Car ahead of time, then I could hear their voice, and they were as nice as can be, and so they were very happy with them.

Protect My Car is much cheaper than the other warranty providers. Their reps were great. They explained everything to me. I've had the car for two years and I've had several claims on the car. The process claims went well because I'd just take it to a guaranteed shop where the service is provided. As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy with the coverage.

The representative that I spoke with worked with me to go with the coverage. Unfortunately, the coverage really didn't cover the issues that I was having and I was kind of stumped about that. I had an issue with my brakes one time and they didn't cover it, so I ended up having to come out of pocket. I understand that an extended warranty is not going to cover a vehicle like a brand new buy, but you should make sure that you know what you're getting yourself into as far as the coverage. It's almost like I'm paying Protect My Car $100 a month for nothing.

I have submitted claims with Protect My Car and so far, it's been good. I just wish they had a better package for cars that are older. I have the platinum package right now and it doesn't cover certain things that I think it should cover. For almost $80 a month, I should be getting more for my money. That aside, customer service is polite and helpful, for the most part. I only had one where there was kind of, "The, the". I had the shop call Protect My Car to speak to someone and they took care of it. The shop that I work with is good as far as getting back to Protect My Car representative and haggling stuff out because they deal with a lot of customers that have Protect My Car. That makes it a little better for me as a customer because they understand how it works as opposed to going into a shop that doesn't deal with my warranty.
Protect My Car just called me because they had my expired card on file. I didn't understand why because I updated it. Apparently, someone dropped the ball. I re-update it yesterday with someone on the phone so they can take out the payments in a timely fashion. Overall, I would go with Protect My Car and not CarShield. I tell everyone that from my own personal experience.

I had just gotten a 2011 car and Protect My Car came on the radio. I was trying to see what they were about so we went ahead with them. The rep was pretty good. I used the warranty for some minor issues. I expected them to pay a little bit more than what they did but it was okay.

Protect My Car is a good plan to have on a car. I got a great deal. The warranty is very valuable and it saved me a lot. If I didn't have the coverage on my car, I would be putting out more money than I have to. Customer service alos assisted me very well.

I've used Protect My Car for about three or four years. They've been doing a great job because I used them a lot. When I have a claim, my mechanic communicates with them more than I do because he knows what to tell them such as what needs to be repaired and be done to the vehicle. It takes time for the warranty to come up with an estimate. It's a process but it gets done. I am very satisfied and comfortable with Protect My Car.

When I looked for companies, I wanted to ensure that their prices were fair, customer service was fair, and they had good reviews. If something ever comes up, I would be helped. Protect My Car met those qualities. I had several claims and each time, they did what they said they would do and made it pretty simple and easy for the technicians to check in and call. I only wish Protect My Car has a mobile app that keeps all records of services such as dates of service, dates of payment, and what plan.

Protect My Car offered the best package at the best price. Their customer service was excellent. They were very helpful and they went the distance. They answered questions that they probably didn't really have to answer because they didn't pertain to the issue that my car was being seen for. That's always nice that they can take care of the consumer on every level, even if it's not related to the issue. I called first to find out how to do a claim and that was easy. They said, to just take the car to the shop and have them call Protect My Car. I thought I would have to fill out paperwork but it was no work on my part. They are amazing.

Protect My Car is a little less expensive than the other companies. Their reps were professional, knew what they were talking about and they worked with me on the price and got to where I could afford it. It was pretty good that they put in the oil changes in there, which was the tipping point where I went ahead and got it. So, I'm getting a little something back out of it. Having Protect My Car is a great value.

I acquired a service from someone else then Protect My Car called me back. They offered me a better package and it was great. I've had the warranty for nine months and I've used it twice. They're fantastic. They were great about the things that they wouldn't cover. They said, "These guys are pretty expensive. You should go somewhere else," and they were right.
