First time I've submitted a claim, it was okay. The second and third were horrific. I paid my portion, car was repaired and then ProtectMyCar held a payment to the repair shop because they said I owed for the next month coming up. If they won't release the payment, I couldn't have my car. It was terrible and I ended up walking. The first three reps I talked to were terrible. After the incident was over, I got a phone call from someone in customer service. They were good at rectifying the situation, so right now I'm hoping I don't have to have that experience again.

The guys from ProtectMyCar called me and transferred me to one of their reps. I already had a deal with a different company, but ProtectMyCar was even better, so I decided to go with them. It was cool when I submitted a claim via phone. It was fast and easy and I didn't have to do anything. They are a really good company than the one I used to have. I've been satisfied.

ProtectMyCar gave me a cheaper quote but when they sent the protection plan, the bill was way higher than what they quoted me for. I reached out to them to better understand why this happened but they never got back to me. They claimed the conversation was recorded so they should go back with the girl who gave me the quote. I'm very dissatisfied with my experience. Though they helped me with my car, I still think the price is a little outrageous for the five years. I have to pay $4,000 for this ProtectMyCar program then I still got to pay $502 for the oil change out of my pocket.

I've been having a good experience with ProtectMyCar so far. They’ve been very helpful and allowed me to get my car fixed at a reasonable price. But submitting a claim is something that took a little longer than I wanted it to be. I also had to get my car towed and it had to be there longer. However, they took it where I needed it to go and they took care of me pretty well.

Something went wrong with my car. I dropped it on Monday and the mechanic submitted the claim. ProtectMyCar didn't respond back so I went back and forth about getting my car fixed. I finally got a response and it took forever to get a confirmation. Then a few times, they got confused with the prices. First, they told me it was $700, then $500 and then they went to $900. I wound up putting more money. I don't know if that was the first time people had experienced doing it for the prices for this car. I didn't know how to go about anything and nobody was getting on the job the way they were supposed to. Everything was crazy and just annoying to me. On top of it, it took me four days to get my car fixed which was upsetting. I hope I would have a better experience the next time ‘cause this one was off the hook. I'd be more experienced now but hopefully I won't have to do it again because I have no more money to pay for more cost.

The package ProtectMyCar put together for me was better. When I filed a claim to them, I didn’t have to do anything. They got together with the dealer. But at first, it was a pain in the butt because on my contract it stipulated that the clutch of my car was covered, but they said it was not. It took a long time for them to approve some of the stuff but they never approved my clutch. They explained it to me and they told me that there was an error in the stipulation on my contract. I told them it wasn't my error and that it's something that they were supposed to fix before they even put out the contract. They offered me one-year oil change because of that mistake. That’s why I stick with them. They also made payments affordable since it's done monthly. Overall, it's been a good experience.

Our experience with ProtectMyCar is not very good. My coverage doesn’t really fulfill the needs of my car with its condition right now. It worked out for my truck but I had it for my other vehicle and it's not worth it.

ProtectMyCar's claims process was fair. I had to call supervisor though because they said they won't cover my car for some items and that’s not what they told me when they sold me the protection. And, they don’t want to work with the warranty company, so they were causing a big problem. But then I got on the phone with Bill and he fixed everything. My car is running great and everything on it is perfect. It was just a rough start. However, they need to train their sales people better because they’d say one thing and then it comes out to be another. But so far, everybody has been very nice. My experience was very good and they got my car fixed.

I was looking at another warranty provider but ProtectMyCar has the best price and coverage so I went with them. I got my cars serviced and the repair shop found something wrong with them. They submitted the claim for me and it was easy. ProtectMyCar took care of the repair shop and I just paid the deductible. I was very satisfied. I feel a lot better that I have ProtectMyCar.

I'm dissatisfied with my experience with ProtectMyCar. I'm not too thrilled with where I had to get a job on my car. It was very expensive. It was for my transmission and they want me to pay $600. I wasn't happy with the amount that ProtectMyCar only pays out for that particular repair. I had to use a lot of money out of my pocket. They may have explained it but I'm going to start doing research to see better warranty offers and if I find a better one, I'm moving on with it.

I'm gonna cancel my ProtectMyCar coverage, I'm not happy at all. When I first signed up, they told me everything was covered. They sent me a booklet but I specifically asked the guy on the phone about it and he confirmed it. This is what made me choose them over other companies. Making the payments for the warranty purchase was easy but none of the repairs that I needed were covered, so the warranty is of no use to me. The repair was a $1,200 job and I was wondering what I pay ProtectMyCar $500 for. I had an awful experience with these liars.

I have an '04 Infiniti and I love that car. It's been really good to me and I'm not quite ready to let it go. But after 10 years, things might happen so I got a ProtectMyCar warranty. Submitting a claim was awesome. I took my car to Willis Infiniti in Des Moines and the service adviser took care of everything. I gave him the pamphlet and then I gave him the links so that he could research. He took care of it all for me. It was well worth it and I had a pleasurable experience. I would recommend ProtectMyCar to people especially with cars 10 years or older.

You are absolutely right. having a vehicle that is a little older and has a few more miles doesn't mean you can't get affordable valuable protection for it.

ProtectMyCar called me and presented their offers. I accepted them because of the knowledge that they had about their product as well as the information that was given and how it worked. It has been an adventurous experience when I submitted one claim to them. It took months and it was a headache but they were very supportive. Every time they told me to do one thing and I did it, I got the result with no hassle which was awesome. I’m getting ready now for them to send me the transcript of the first and only case that I had done with them, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they handled that. I’ve also used ProtectMyCar's roadside assistance which was awesome. The rental was weird, though. I wasn’t used to the three-day warranty thing, but it did what it had to do. Being with the them has been a rewarding experience. I'd recommend them.

I chose Protect My Car because the person that I spoke to at the beginning was very informative. They also give me some discounts because I'm on disability. It was a good choice and I had a good experience. When I had a claim, I first called them and we went over some things. I then took my car to the mechanic and I gave them the number to call. I'd recommend Protect My Car.

The ProtectMyCar claim reps are very helpful. My first initial claim with ProtectMyCar was a bit difficult because I was just learning the process and it was a little cumbersome going back and forth but my second experience was much better.

I was looking for a different warranty for the vehicle, but every warranty company was offering the same, except for ProtectMyCar. Their rep said he'll sweeten the deal by offering a $50 deductible, so I got ProtectMyCar since I was tired of every warranty company calling me. However, during the claim, I felt like the contract was breached.
I filed the vehicle away, then I decided to call and let ProtectMyCar know that I was putting it in the shop. They asked if I needed it towed, and I said "No. I can drive it but the way it's acting, I don't know for how long." So I took it to the shop, called ProtectMyCar and I was instructed on how to do the process. I went on and took the vehicle in the shop and gave the guy information on who to call and the warranty company's name, which is ProtectMyCar. The guy from the shop then said that they will handle everything and that's the way it was set up. I was told to sit back and wait, but I never heard from ProtectMyCar. They told me to be patient and that sometimes, it takes a long time for them to react on things and to do research, so I tried to be patient, but the situation was not good and I didn't even get a rental car.
After a couple of weeks, I called the shop and the guy said he was still waiting on word from ProtectMyCar. He then told me to ask ProtectMyCar to see what's wrong with the vehicle, and then let his shop know what's going on, so that's what I did from that point on. When the problem was finally found, the guy from the shop called me and they did a good job with the vehicle after I received it. It's running very good now and that's the only thing that was good about my experience, because I was left in there blind and the contract was breached. I was gonna call and let them know about the situation because the contract is definitely not as written as I thought it would be. The job got completed and I'm satisfied with the product, but not with the service.

I have been looking for extended warranty for my car and I got a call from ProtectMyCar. The rep made the offer sound really good and since it was the only company that I know at that time, I got it. But I’m not very happy with it. When I had a problem with my car, I was told that I have seven days car rental. But if the job was longer, they would extend my rental. The car company where I had my car at called me and told me that nobody called them about the transmission because I needed a new one, so I had to call ProtectMyCar. When I had my car done, they took forever to get in touch with the guys at the shop. They told me they did but they didn’t. It was a big mess and it took them almost three weeks to get my car done. And they only paid for a week of the rental charges.
They’re all very sadistic. They’d tell me that’s what the contract said when in fact, it was not what I was told. They have not called me since they took the money off my card. I called about that and they told me that I should talk to the company about it. They didn’t even cover the unloading fee of the transmission. I had to cover that too and that was a hundred extra dollars. So I had a very, very bad experience with them. The only reason why I still have it now is because I’m not sure if my car is fixed right. And I don’t want it all to come out of my pocket. Also, their rep Bill was very rude and very dry. He didn’t have any sympathy for what I was going through. I’ve left messages for managers but I’ve never heard anything. So, it’s been bad all around. It was awful.

ProtectMyCar warranty sounded good, but they didn't do what they said. My transmission went out and they said to find someone that could fix it. They would pay 80 percent or all of it depending on what it was. They left me with the $700 bill that they didn't pay for fixing my transmission. It was very bad for me because I didn't have the money, but I am paying them.

When I submitted a claim, ProtectMyCar told me that the part wasn't covered. I told them that all their competitors do it and if they won't cover it, I will move to somebody else. The claims reps were great and did what they said. When I asked to talk to a manager or a more senior person in that position, they were willing to work with me. ProtectMyCar took care of the problem even though it was a more delayed process. However, they definitely need to look into where the competition is going - if the competition is covering more parts than them. I didn't realize that the competition goes very detailed into all the parts that they cover. If ProtectMyCar wants to move into a leader role in this kind of business, they need to exceed what the competition do. I will stay with them because they were willing to work with me. Hopefully they can improve to be competitive.

We want you to know right up front and in writing exactly what is covered with no hidden or confusing terms. If we covered every single component of your vehicle, the cost of the policy could easily be three or four times what you are paying for it. Most people would be unable to afford coverage. ProtectMyCar gives you false information to get you to come on board with them. Then, it's a totally different thing. I'm having a leak with my car and they said they don't cover it. It doesn't make any sense. I'm thinking of canceling them right now. I'm dissatisfied and I'm telling somebody about it. They said they're going to try it, but I'm going to tell them they don’t have to do it.

ProtectMyCar is great. They have competitive pricing, and it's easy to make a claim. The lady I spoke with on the phone gave me instructions on exactly what to do. I went to the place where I wanted my car to get fixed and they did the rest. They've also made it easy for me to make payments. I'm very satisfied right now with ProtectMyCar.

I was looking for an extended warranty online and then I found ProtectMyCar. I also found other companies but, due to its cost, I chose ProtectMyCar. Submitting a claim to them is easy. But my problem is that my policy didn't cover enough compared to what I have been offered. For a few hundred dollars more, had I known that some of those things that weren't covered, I would've paid the additional amount.
The policy that I bought was the premium package and it was supposed to be all-inclusive. But then I found out 'cause what happened was I had a belt and some hoses break that weren't covered under the warranty whereas all belts, hoses and everything were covered under the warranty that I had looked at before. The claims rep just went over with me what was covered and it was a surprise to me 'cause I just assumed that that was covered because I had the package that I had that all was covered. That was a mistake on my part for assuming and not digging into it. These things that are not covered need to be outlined in some way. Also the breakdown that occurs and the towing that's involved, those things should be a little bit more descriptive because there are limitations even with the towing process and then the breakdown and the cost that the warranty actually covers when it comes to towing. But, the bill is easy to pay.

Our policies are intended to help customer with unexpected and very costly mechanical breakdowns. To keep the policy cost down and provided help for the unexpected breakdowns, policies do not cover the cost of maintenance and wear and tear items. Adding these services to a policy would make the monthly cost of the policy too expensive for most people, especially for those on a budget.

My first auto warranty sucks. I paid $2,500 and they didn't give me any services, that's why I picked Protect My Car. The sales guy, Mike, should've explained what should be happening when they got me. He transferred me to a manager who told me the specific coverage that I can get, and that was the only time I approved the payment. I had a claim and the dealership told me that they don't want my claim. I spoke to one of Protect My Car's specialists and I was sent a mechanic to check the car.

Best of all, of course, we will be there again to help out when you need us.

When I got the policy from ProtectMyCar, I was informed that it covered a lot of stuff. The way that they presented it to me, I felt that I was going to be well-protected. When they're getting you to get the policy, everything is for your benefit. Once you get the policy, they give you all this other conversation. They give you a lot of options that they cover, but those are the parts that are not breaking.
They only honored one of the four claims I had. My four-wheel drive, camera and a few other things were not covered. It looks like they don't cover all of the big stuff. Now, I have a motor for my air conditioner and it's not even covered. I'm putting out more money with getting the parts fixed and paying ProtectMyCar. It's like I'm paying money for nothing. When I tried to get out of the contract, they gave me free oil change. I'm very displeased.

The mechanic handles the claim filing. I spoke to ProtectMyCar, though, originally before taking the car in. I gave the mechanic ProtectMyCar's number as instructed and was able to get through all the communication stuff. Everything worked out good. I like the towing service too, which came in handy one time.

I actually called to cancel my warranty the first month as I was going to a local dealer. Chaz actually changed my mind & was very professional. He didn't send a promised email so when I called back, Melodi was a sweetheart. Pleased so far!!!

I've got all the protection I need on my car from ProtectMyCar. I have not needed to use it so far, and I hope I'll never use it. It's like buying fire insurance for your house. It's something you need to have but hope to never use. The payments were charged directly to a credit card, so it takes care of itself and it's easy. My experience has been very pleasant and easy, and I'm a very satisfied customer so far.

Someone called me on the phone to offer ProtectMyCar and their price seem like a good deal so I got them. However, I don't remember them ever mentioning a deductible. All I know is there's a price and I need to find out if my deductible is going to be reasonably high. So far I haven't used it yet but I'm getting a feeling of security if something does happen.

That's just one more way we provide good peace of mind to our policyholders. We are glad you have a good feeling of security. That is what this coverage is all about.

So far, I've been paying on my warranty with ProtectMyCar.com but haven't had a chance to use it yet because the car's been running good. I have it on a direct payment at the end of the month and when I had to change my pay date, I had no problems. They're professional and they'll check with you. They're a good company. However, the Ford company was calling me and telling me that it wasn't a good fit and that there have been complaints against Protection 1. They also said that when they tried to get claims done they weren't able to do so. But I said I haven't had a claim yet. So, he said, "Yeah, but you might have one and then you may not get it done." I said, "Well, I haven't had any problems with the company so far. So, I'll stick with my company".

We regret that your dealer chose to make those comments. Rest assured that if you need help with your vehicle, or just need to again make an adjustment to your premium billing, we will be there to assist and always show you the respect you deserve.

It was simple to make payments for purchasing my extended auto warranty from ProtectMyCar. They set up the auto-pay. It's been very easy submitting a claim on the phone with them but the dealership did it. The guys at ProtectMyCar are easy to work with. The only thing I had a problem with is that when things are repaired, they don't pay for the fluids that go back into the part.

I am happy with Precision. It's been good but I haven't had the chance to use them. I really haven't had any experience outside of just paying for it but it was easy. They were saying that I have to use the rest of the coverage of my regular warranty but I have not used any of their features.

ProtectMyCar charges me $29.79 per month right out of my checking deposit and sometimes I just scrape the monthly payment up. I'm satisfied with them - they're good. They gave me a new key one time and also fixed my window. I just hope that when my car's towed, they will do what the book they gave me says.

ProtectMyCar's warranty sounded like a good deal. I haven't had a chance to use the service yet. I just have it as security for my Toyota but it rarely breaks. Paying for the warranty is very simple, they take it from my credit card.

The claim process with ProtectMyCar was not difficult at all. It was done through the service provider. They already input the information for me so it was an easy process. They handled everything from getting my car repaired, having the oil changed, etc. I had an issue about a claim that was not covered but I was given a promotion to balance that out, so it pretty much worked itself out. Other than that, I haven't had any major major issues with ProtectMyCar's services. I don't have to worry about forgetting to pay it because I had set the payment up for it to be automatically withdrawn from my checking account. I haven't had the need for their 24/7 road assistance, rental car benefits or maintenance perks but should they arise, I know they're available.

We do work hard to make sure the policy is not just affordable, but provides the protection you need when you need it. It’s really nice to know that with one phone call you can get towed in, activate rental car benefits and get fast, efficient claims service. That is all on top of really affordable premiums. That's what we call good peace of mind

I received a phone call from ProtectMyCar offering to extend the warranty on my car and I thought that it was a good deal, so I purchased the plan and have had it for about two years. Making the payments were not too bad, but it was expensive if we're having the coverage for the whole time. But since I had the need of having some repairs, it makes it really worth it because of how much money I would've spent if I had it repaired.
I have submitted a claim with them twice and I won't consider the process to be difficult because everything was handled by the dealer. All we had to do was wait for the approval to get the repairs that the car needed and we had no problems at all except for one time that I made a claim and it was not covered. It was a simple issue so other than that, everything was fine. The way they handled the claims and when I made a phone call about the promo from the insurance was a good experience. ProtectMyCar is always good to have as long as you can afford it and as long as it is worth it to have in case of a need.

The claim that I put through over the phone didn't help a whole lot for all of the things that I have wrong with my vehicle. ProtectMyCar didn't really help me like I thought it would. It didn't pay for all of my claim. They didn’t even pay for 80 percent of it so it was bad. Up until that time, I didn't have any problems with them. Paying for it was easy because it is automatically debited out of my bank account monthly. But I picked them and I learn as I go along. I'm looking for somewhere else to go though. If I were to recommend ProtectMyCar to a friend, I would tell them to make sure they know all the things that the warranty covers on their vehicle before they go into it and be clear with it. Maybe that was my problem, I wasn't clear with everything that it covers.

You have no doubt reviewed the policy and have seen that the policy lists each and every covered component. We make it very clear what components are covered and which are not. The reason for this is simple. We want you to know right up front and in writing exactly what is covered with no hidden or confusing terms. Some components are not covered and for a very good reason. If we covered every single component of your vehicle, the cost of the policy could easily be three or four times what you are paying for it. Most people would be unable to afford such coverage. We cover the components that are most likely to break down and for the most part are the costliest to repair.
As your vehicle ages and more miles are added it will be more and more likely that future repairs will be required. As comprehensive as the policy is, it is far more likely that future repairs will be to covered components. When that occurs and we are able to help you with those repairs, you will be very glad you had the foresight to protect yourself with this coverage.

I'm well-satisfied with ProtectMyCar. I've used them once when there was something wrong with my air conditioner and I had to get a new diaphragm. I carried the vehicle to the Dodge place and they were the ones who placed the claim form. As for my monthly payments, ProtectMyCar drafts them right out of my account. I have the warranty policy for over a year now, and this last time that I called Protect My Car was the first time that I had to use it. It was a bad experience. I needed a motor window fixed so I went to Firestone since it was very close to me and had the part on hand. So I'd only be without a car for a day. Protect My Car didn't like the price being charged to them, which it wasn't even that much of a difference, so they were going to overnight a part for Firestone to install. I said I was going to be without a vehicle for a whole day and asked if they'll be giving me a rental. They refused because the car rental benefit is only for repairs that would take at least 4 hrs and mine was only 3.5 hours. I had to look for a ride to work. They then agreed to give me a rental car, but since I had a meeting after work, I did not reach the rental place in time. Again, I had to look for a ride to work.
I called Firestone to check on my car, and the part did not arrive. I called Protect My Car only to find out that it would take another day because the part was never shipped. After talking to a supervisor for half an hour, they finally agreed to pay for Firestone's price for the part so they can put it in and I can get my car back. It was super upsetting that it took a lot of time out of my day to have to call these people over and over again over something so small. I am not very happy especially that I pay $60 every month, which gets cleared right out of my account, so they get their payment easily from me. I'm trying to find another company.

My wife called to submit a claim to ProtectMyCar and she got really upset. It took them all day just to say no. I thought that part is too expensive as it was and I thought maybe it would have been covered, but it wasn't and it was just an all-day situation. The man from the Chevrolet place at Wes Haney teamed up with them the rest of the day. He told me he’s there if he said that it won’t work and what he told me was a real pain in the butt. So my wife wanted me to cancel the warranty right then, but I didn't because it's for both the engine and transmission and if something happens to it, then it will be good. In terms of making payments, they are nice, and if I don’t have the money at the time, they don’t hustle me. They would just call back and then I can pay it when I do have the money. They’re decent about that. As far as the pay goes, they’re good, but my experience was otherwise.

We still apologize for your inconvenience. You are right, of course. Should you have any other trouble with the vehicle you will be very glad you had the foresight to have coverage on the vehicle.

A couple of days before my auto warranty ran out, ProtectMyCar called me. I spoke to Dominic about my Chrysler and ended up getting a warranty from them. For my payment, the amount that consistently comes out of my account is in a fashioned manner. Their manager gave me a call and tell me some little details that the agency had already told me. So far, the experience has been excellent. They offer a more consistent follow-up and I very much appreciate that because they call and tell me about the details of the warranty. I wanted to have an extended warranty for my vehicle, and when ProtectMyCar.com called, I liked what they were saying about their coverage so I took their offer for my Jaguar. Overall, I like their service. I took my vehicle out to the dealership and the Jaguar people called the claim in with them and they worked with it from there so I didn't have any headaches. ProtectMyCar fixed everything they said they would, but I'm probably going to return it because my engine light was coming on again. Aside from that, their roadside service is also good.

I had to call them in which they finally got in touch with me. I waited some months before I could get back in. But after that, they were all right and so far, I'm pleased with ProtectMyCar.

I've been with ProtectMyCar for about two years now and one time when I used them, the experience has been good. The BMW dealership submitted my claim to them over the phone. ProtectMyCar then called me to tell me that they approved the work. Payments to them were not difficult at all since it comes out of my account, regardless if I want it or not. At first of the month I have auto pay, so it just goes straight out.
The only issue I have is when my car is in the shop, it never covers anything that I really needed to cover. The way it was sold to me was that it covers everything pretty much on my powertrain, on leaks of my pewters, all these things. It sounded very good. The thing is, I didn't look into it that much. For instance, my car is in the shop right now and the oil temperature gauge is overheating. But when the dealership called them, I said they'll cover the oil sensor, but they won't.
One time I had a problem, they covered everything. But the fact is that my car has been in the shop several other times and there was this particular lubricating part that was supposed to be covered because it said so in the warranty, but they said that specific part was not covered. So that wasn't good. They're working more on selling a warranty that could cover more parts that would never break. And if it does break, they'd have an excuse for not doing something else. So I'm unhappy with my overall experience and I'm really considering canceling because it's not covering everything. I feel like I'm just paying money.

I've had ProtectMyCar for a while now and my payments for it are directly taken out of my account. But when I needed a converter, ProtectMyCar said they didn't cover it. Despite that, it's been a good experience. I'm sure I'll need it at some point and if I am to submit a claim, whoever is to work on my car can send in the claim for me. ProtectMyCar is a good and reliable program. When we called, they explained everything and we just signed up. I can get all the benefits like roadside assistance and can take it to the mechanic. If I pay the $100 deductible, a lot of things are covered. From what I understand, I have to pay for three years but the warranty still goes to five years. All the little things I had to do with the car so far hasn't been something that they cover, like the regular oil change. They only cover if it's a big problem, not maintenance. But we have used their road assistance once because the battery died and it was good. We called them and they did come and pick us up. The wait time was okay, it was less than an hour. Also, I have to call sometimes and ask them not to take the payment out and postpone it, and everything works out well. I just wish if I ever have to make a claim that it'll be just as easy as the roadside assistance process.

When ProtectMyCar was Precision, they called me and was selling warranties on the phone. I talked to one of the managers there and they were able to lower the price down the way I wanted it so I went for it. At the beginning, the claims process was difficult because the dealership was complaining that Precision took too long to answer and they weren't sure if they were going to pay for the claim or not. Sometimes nobody picks up the phone. I experienced being at the dealership eight o'clock in the morning to fix the car. When they got the decision, it was maybe ten thirty or eleven o'clock in the morning. So by the time the dealership got the car fixed, it was three or four in the afternoon. That's the only problem I had.
I'm happy that I have the warranty. I got more peace of mind because sometimes when I take the car in, they turn up at $600-$700 for any couple of things that could be wrong. It used to be a simple thing. Now, it's more complicated with all these new cars and all these electronics and stuff that are in them. So, I'm happy with the whole deal.

For the last three years, I've had ProtectMyCar on different vehicles. I've been trying to get in contact with them for the last few months because I got a new vehicle and I've been getting billed and charged for the last six months before I even had the vehicle. I've been trying to cancel my service. They had my card for automatic payments and every time I would get billed, it seems like the name of the company would change. Also, I never received my packet that showed my card and to show that I was covered under warranty and what number to call if anything ever happens. Same thing with my Cadillac Escapade that I also had a warranty on. It was over a year ago and they never sent me a packet with my card. So I had no way to reach out to ProtectMyCar at all.
I didn't even know if I was still getting the service. All I know was I was getting billed. I tried to do research online with the old name of the company but I couldn't find anything. I didn't even know the name anymore of the service that I was being provided. When I get billed, it has a generic name and some numbers next to it. There's no way to stop so it's been very irritating on my end.

Making payments is very easy and the only thing I've ever had issue with is overdrafting. Then they gave me a call a couple of days later telling me that the payment didn't come through. But I'll be looking into their maintenance perks and maybe they could cover my oil changes.

Twice, I was very satisfied with it and the third time, they didn't cover it for me but I was still pleased. It said on my warranty that it covered gas pump. But when I took it to the place to have it fixed, they told me it wasn't covered and that it was an everyday maintenance thing I was supposed to do with my car. I wouldn't have known about it because that's nothing like maintaining the brakes or the shocks. But everything else is okay.

All in all, my experience with ProtectMyCar was wonderful. I have their warranty and submitting claims was easy because when I take my car in, it's usually done by the dealership, for example, Tires Plus. They'll call ProtectMyCar up and deal with them directly. I wouldn't have to deal with ProtectMyCar myself. Also, making payments is simple, too because they pretty much work with me as far as to see how best they can assist me and if I can't make a lump sum payment, they try to break the payments up.

One time I had to get something done to the car and it wasn’t a good experience. It was the water pump that had to be changed. If the water pump is changed, then radiator fluids would come out. I had to argue with them about putting some fluids in the car. They said they don't cover fluids but they will do it this time for me. That's ridiculous. There was another time where the bushings in the torque struts were bad. When I looked at the policy, it said that bushings were covered. I had to argue again with them about that and had to go back and forth with them. They finally covered it. This claims process was difficult and their rep was argumentative. I made my claim over the phone at the Chrysler dealership and they even had to go back and forth sending all type of paperwork. I'm paying for the work that needed to be done and paid over $2000 for this policy. That’s not fair.
I still have a few more miles left with this, and most likely, I won't be renewing because I don’t want to keep going through that for something that’s so plainly obvious. If it's spelled out in the policy that certain items are covered, I shouldn’t have to almost be a paralegal to explain and justify why they need to cover it. Moreover, it's very disheartening to know that ProtectMyCar has to keep changing their name. That’s some shady, funny business right there. I don’t like that.

The warranty that I had when I bought my vehicle had expired. I had to renew it with some other company but their insurance was much higher than what I'm paying so I chose ProtectMyCar. When I had a problem with the gear shift, I took my car into the shop. The shop contacted ProtectMyCar and said they don't cover on it. However, they were good enough to help me with my problem with my dealer, so that was a big help. In addition, I had all payments automatically taken out of my account which are affordable. I'm well satisfied with them so far.

I have Precision for years. They paid for a few things so far and paid for a $1000 job for my truck. I wish they covered a little bit more. I’m working with another shop now. I put stock on the truck, and it’s not covered by anything. The shop put fees on my bill along with my deductible, and Precision said they're not going to pay it, which I didn’t like. I was under the impression that I just had to pay my $100 deductible. But maybe it varies from shop to shop. It was in Tire Kingdom so I'm not going back there. When I was also filing the claim, it was a holiday weekend and no one was available at Precision, so I left a message. I was going to go ahead and pay for the repair myself, but the shop forewarned me about doing that. So I had to wait until Monday. The shop handled the phone call and told Precision what they’d done to the truck.

Still, as your vehicle ages and more miles are added it will be more and more likely that future repairs will be required. When that occurs and we help you with those repairs, you will be very glad you had the foresight to protect yourself with this coverage. Again, thank you for your comments.

I had one claim with ProtectMyCar. The dealership called them and the process has been easy. On the other hand, it's ridiculous to have a deductible with the service if I pay $39 every month, plus the first payment of $145. I paid a lot during three years. They charged me the deductible for the repair for $200 so I can repair the car, like six times for this money. It’s absolutely not fair and they should've at least paid the deductible. I had closed my account months ago and I won't recommend it to anybody with a new car (not 15 years old) because there is no sense to have it. For people who have a lot of problem with their car, this is a good service, but not for me.

As you vehicle ages and more miles are added, the chances are greater that you will need more repairs done. We urge you to get protection to help with those repairs and protect your budget.

The Mercedes dealership handled the claim with ProtectMyCar. They called it in for me and it was honored one or two times. Payments for the warranty are very affordable, which is why I'm with ProtectMyCar. There was one claim that they didn’t want to honor, but other than that, they’ve been excellent. I got that policy paid off and I got another year on it because I’m very pleased with it. And if I want another extended warranty, I’ll stay with them. All in all, it’s been a pleasant experience.

By the way, if you know friends or family who might benefit from a policy, please tell them about us. We will treat them with just as much respect as we do you. Remember, if you referred someone to us who gets a policy we say thank you by sending you Visa gift card.

We used ProtectMyCar one time and submitting the claim was easy, but it was denied. Making payments for the warranty is a pain in the neck right now because they don't have an electronic way of doing it. It's easier to pay online for my bills because I'm on the road. They also don't have a way of taking it out of my banking account. Now, I do it the old fashion way wherein I have to find a post office and put a stamp. Other than that, they're fine and they send the stamp.

I've submitted one claim since I had ProtectMyCar and I have very good experience. The first and only breakdown time I ever had was pouring rain here in Virginia. Their reps were very friendly and they called the garage for us which hauled my car into the place where I wanted to. The garage people don't like to deal with car insurance people because they have to wait too long for the money so I said, "Okay. You go ahead and fix the car. I'll pay you and I'll deal with the insurance." Two days later, my car was fixed. When the garage gave me the bill, I called ProtectMyCar. I wrote them a little note, sent the bill and they sent my money back.

I've only had one claim with ProtectMyCar and it was a little difficult. They didn't cover everything that I thought they were going to cover. The claims representatives were all right and making payments for the warranty was easy too at the time. I no longer own the vehicle but I wished they would have explained more what they cover.

We are always happy to explain the coverage and exactly what is covered. We also help with some non-covered components when the situation warrants it.

I’ve had five extended warranties and ProtectMyCar was the best one. They've been doing great for me. Also, they have no interest each month. I just have to pay 50 bucks a month and I still got a bunch of miles left. Whatever was wrong with my car that they covered, they took care of it. Although the $100 deductible is a little tough, but I feel like I have to get that fixed for more than $400 anyways. Also, it was easy to go through and call up. I just brought it down to Chevy and they did the rest of the work. And me calling up the place once in awhile to see how long I’m still lasting for and all that, they gave me all the correct information.

I received a sales call from ProtectMyCar and I bought their auto warranty for the two cars. I had another company prior to that with the same vehicle and looking through the ProtectMyCar manual itself, there are a few exclusions. I'd attempted to cancel it out about a couple of weeks ago and I was talked into keeping it. From day one, I started with what was necessary and they just take the payments out every month. So as long as they don't charge for insufficient funds on the account, then it's okay.

While we hope you never experience that, it just makes good common sense to protect yourself in advance for that day when you have a problem with your vehicle. On that day, one call gets you towed in, activates rental car benefits and gets your covered repair taken care of quickly and efficiently. That is what we call good peace of mind.
Oh, and no, we do not charge for insufficient funds.

ProtectMyCar is very affordable. I've been on this plan for over a year now, and they take payments out of my account, so it's easy. However, I'm a little concerned because I keep getting calls from all these people, telling me that I'm not covered. My guess is that my VIN number keeps showing up, that I'm not covered on their extended warranty, but they're taking money from my account every month. On the other hand, every time I called, they've been polite and have been giving me the information that I needed.

You are likely getting calls from other Vehicle Service Contract companies who want to offer coverage to you. Please let them know that you have coverage through Protect My car and these calls should stop.

I found out through individuals' claims at other auto warranty companies that the problem with several of them is the downtime to have somebody come inspect the vehicle and pull it to be fixed. I had a problem with my motor and the cost would be quite a bit of money to get the repair done, but I couldn't wait for the downtime and hope for somebody to come. So I continue paying, and when I need all services, it takes too long to evaluate.
Nevertheless, I started to go through the process of filing a claim with ProtectMyCar, and I got to pay the worth of a mechanic. However, although I still have the receipt for it, they won't reimburse me. Furthermore, I had a spark plug blow and I thought I was going to get protection from the company, but then I found out it wasn't covered. Basically, I never got to put in a claim with them because certain things aren't covered. I had to go ahead and get that fixed myself and take money out of my pocket.

I needed a protection plan other than the one I had with Southern Dodge where I got my car from. Southern Dodge was too high for me, so when I got a call from ProtectMyCar, I accepted it. Everything we did went through our insurance and my experiences have been fine so far. As long as I pay my bills, I'm covered and protected. ProtectMyCar's a wonderful company.

I had joined another provider but when I questioned ProtectMyCar, they seemed to give me a better deal and were closer to home so I went with them. I timed payments electronically. I haven't submitted a claim or used their services yet, but so far, I would recommend them. The only thing is that they're supposed to send me a booklet and I never received it.

We have had a replacement policy printed and mailed out to you. You should receive it any time now.
The Post Office provides tracking information to us to make sure the policy booklets get to our policyholders without delay. Any time you need a replacement copy or need help in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.

I called ProtectMyCar and the information sounded really good, so I decided to go with them. I've only had to submit one claim and it was very easy. All I did was give the dealer my ProtectMyCar information and they took care of everything over the phone. We didn't have to do anything except pay our deductible. Fortunately for us, it was a short repair, and we had a second car, so we didn't use the rental car benefits. So far, my experience has been great.

I had a great experience with ProtectMyCar. I got a call from them offering me the insurance and told me about their benefits. Then I had problems with my car and they took care of it. So I stayed with them after that. Their claims processing was super fast, I didn't even have to do anything. I just took my car to the dealership and they told me it had problems with a couple of lights that were coming on. I told them I had ProtectMyCar warranty, then they checked the papers, got in contact with my provider, fixed my car and it was over.
ProtectMyCar called me after to make sure everything went well and I told them everything is perfect. I wasn't aware that I had car rental until they called me and asked me if I had used that benefit. But it had already been 2-3 weeks that my car was in the shop. So I didn't get to take advantage of that, but I did get to use their 24/7 road assistance once when I was driving and the car was having problems with the fan. They picked up my car and took it to the shop. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I have ProtectMyCar for my extended auto warranty but I'm trying to figure out ways of not to pay them anymore. It's difficult because they take it out of my credit card every month and if I forget that they take it out, then it adds up to my credit card. I have not really dealt with them but I would have preferred not to have done it, at this point.

ProtectMyCar called me and offered their extended warranty so I got it from them. Right now I haven't utilized it however I'm planning on using it but not too shortly. My payments are easy. However, my biggest problem that have been rectified was sending me a bill. I've been getting bills at the house, and the last I've been getting was at work. Someone's trying to make up for not sending me bills and now I've got extra bills. They sent me seven bills with no dates on them.

You had requested that we mail you invoices for your monthly premiums. and were were happy to do that. You had called on numerous occasions requesting duplicate invoices, having lost or misplaced them. We suggested that the easiest way for you to keep track of them would be to have us send you six months of invoices all at one time. You would have them available to you and would simply filling the date so you would know which month the invoice was for. At the time you thought that would help you quite a bit. If it is now not helping you, we can do something else to assist you. We will be in touch to see what might work better for you.

The service provided by ProtectMyCar was good. They have more savings compared to competitors so we got them. When we submitted a claim, we called their team to verify some information because we didn't have our number. The person we spoke with said he'd have someone else call me and I received the call within 30 minutes. They assisted us and gave us our information and we were able to provide it to the dealership within the same day. Then there was a call to make sure everything was fine.

ProtectMyCar caught my eye at the moment that I was thinking I needed an extended warranty on my car. I’ve only used them three times and it was all related --my car broke down, the AC and the alternator. The claims process was a 50/50. It was easy and a little frustrating sometimes because of the scenario where the dealership won’t release the car until ProtectMyCar had paid. Other than that I never had issues. While the car was in the shop, I had to use a rental car twice which ProtectMyCar has paid for. I would recommend them.

I've had my warranty from ProtectMyCar for a couple of years. At the time that I got it, they were local within the state of Florida, and warranties have more protection in Florida, from what I found out, than some of the other places. Making payments to them is signed out to my American Express card every month. One of the reasons I divided it up to almost the full term of the warranty is so if they went out of business, I'll just stop paying it. Fortunately, I haven't had to submit a claim.

I took my car to my dealership to where I've always had my work done since I got the car. Apparently, they had difficulty getting authorization for parts or services that were needed on my car earlier this year and my car ended up being with them for a month due to delays in authorization with ProtectMyCar. The service manager that has dealt with all of my services said it was like pulling teeth in order to get that done. So, I had to rent a car for the month that I was getting my services done that cost me $600. Therefore, I wouldn't say it's the best extended warranty out there. Had I known this earlier, I should have asked my dealership who they usually work with that aren't so problematic when it comes to the necessity of some sort of work to the car.
When my car first failed on me, they did send me a tow truck but it took four hours for them to get to where I was. And, since the car was in the garage, they didn’t have the specific tow truck to go into the garage to get my car. Then somebody said, “Forget it,” and then they just left. So, I had to wait the next day because I had to go to work that day. I had to leave the car overnight in the garage. They ended up sending somebody that the dealership recommended.

It does sometimes take longer to complete repairs, but the process of getting the claims approved is straightforward and should not bother any reputable repair shop. After all, the coverage is there for your benefit, not theirs. Most shops are happy to cooperate.

ProtectMyCar contacted me after the factory warranty on my vehicle expired and the autopay was pretty much set up over the phone on the same day that they called me. However, when they were briefing it on the phone, the very beginning was a little confusing as far as the way that they approached it. It needs a little bit more clarity on what the package entails.

Most people do have questions about their policy and the claims process after first taking out a policy. We are always here to assist with any question. I was looking for an extension warranty for my BMW and so I went ahead and initiated it with ProtectMyCar. Their price was reasonable compared to others who were high priced. I submitted many claims with them and overall, it was fairly easy. I had to do it through the phone, tell them about it, give them the dealership's name and then the dealer would call them and confirm the reason and give them the information. So there was like a duo contact, myself and the service manager.
I also used the maintenance perks and that was a hassle because they only allow you a week's coverage and they sat on the paperwork for three weeks so I ended up having to pay out of pocket which was a big expense that I was not expecting. So I was very disappointed and the associates that I would talk to when I would call them had very poor customer service. However, they did most of what they said they were going to do as well as some things they didn't cover so I'm satisfied.

It appears from the claims history that we spent over $5,700 in repairs to your vehicle. That is almost three times the premiums you have paid in. Not a bad deal by any means. As your vehicle ages and more repairs are required, we are sure you will be glad you had the foresight to get this protection. They came out to be the cheapest of all at $55 and some cents a month over a two-year period, but I’m up to anybody that’s any cheaper.

ProtectMyCar only offers very minimal coverage. I'm paying $60 a month but most of the time some things are not covered. The other day I had to go to the dealership and pay $700 off my pocket. It was the dealer who submitted the claim when I took my car to them. They're the ones who called-in the claim and that's when I found out that what I needed fixed was not covered. So far, I've experienced this twice. If I'm paying for this kind of protection, they should be able to cover other things under the policy. With this, I probably would go somewhere because this is not giving me much coverage. The perception they give that I'm covered, only to find out that only certain things are covered when I take the car to the dealership, is misleading. That's what I'm dissatisfied with.

You have no doubt reviewed the policy and have seen that the policy lists each and every covered component. We make it very clear what components are covered and which are not. The reason for this is simple. We want you to know right up front and in writing exactly what is covered with no hidden or confusing terms. Some components are not covered and for a very good reason. If we covered every single component of your vehicle, the cost of the policy could easily be three or four times what you are paying for it. Most people would be unable to afford such coverage. We cover the components that are most likely to break down and for the most part are the costliest to repair.
The purpose of the policy is to pay the cost of covered repairs less the deductible. No policy, no matter who issues it, will cover 100% of a vehicle. As your vehicle ages and more miles are added it will be more and more likely that future repairs will be required. As comprehensive as the policy is, it is far more likely that future repairs will be to covered components. When that occurs and we are able to help you with those repairs, you will be very glad you had the foresight to protect yourself with this coverage.

ProtectMyCar sucks. The car was about five years old when I said I'll try them. I submitted a claim because I couldn't read my mileage on the odometer because the light went out behind it, and when I shift in from reverse to drive, I couldn't see that either. It was hit or miss, and they wouldn't do anything about it. When my trunk lock wouldn't work on the key because it's electronic, they fixed that, but that wasn't a big issue. I was not happy with ProtectMyCar because of the three things that I wanted done and nothing was covered, or they wouldn't do it.

A review of the repair history on your vehicle shows three major repair claims over the last three years. All of these repairs were covered by your policy and we paid out a total of over $1,600. That is money that the policy saved you so far and is far more than you had paid in premiums. You paid only the small deductible for those repairs. Not a bad deal by any means.
The repair that was not approved was soon after you got the policy and was denied because it was a pre-existing condition. That is, one that existed before you bought the policy. These policies are meant to help with the cost of unexpected repairs during the policy period, not to pay for repairs that exist prior to the date of policy issue.
We hope that upon reflection you will agree that the policy has saved you a great deal of money on repairs to your vehicle and that it will continue to do so with future covered repairs.

My car was fairly new and I didn’t take the extended warranty at that time to the dealership. The rep from ProtectMyCar offered one to me and I decided to go with that. My payment comes on automatic withdrawal every month, but I haven't had to use them for anything yet.

My previous warranty expired and my husband who was my mechanic passed away. I needed somebody that I can have confidence in so I chose ProtectMyCar. But it seems like every time I called in there was some kind of trick that I hadn't done to keep my warranty. As far as submitting a claim, I don't like that with them. Their claims process was very difficult sometimes. Even the guys at the Chevrolet place had issues with it. I almost got into a shouting match with one of the guys. And then one of the guys gave me a hard time.

The claims process is not easy. The dealer has to contact ProtectMyCar and there's this little fine print which states that they don't cover some things that it seems they said they were gonna cover. They have so many nuances with the maintenance perks. I tried one time and something happened. I had a roadside problem but they didn't cover whatever was wrong with the car, so therefore, they didn't cover the roadside. I'm not happy with it, and it's my fault that I bought it.

ProtectMyCar called me and I was definitely interested, so I started paying them every month until I finally paid the whole warranty off. I'm a little disappointed because anytime I had any problem with my car, they would say it wasn't covered once I paid it off. I couldn't believe it. When they were selling this warranty to me, they told me that my stereo, my air-conditioning, and anything electrical in my car would be covered. I have a lot of electrical, that's why I went with them. I knew the car was getting older now and I had an extended warranty from when I bought it, which had just finished when I took this one. But I haven't had very happy experiences with them covering anything.

First of all, thank you for being a policyholder since January, 2013. We appreciate that very much. We regret that you feel the policy has not helped you as much as you would have liked.

I have been with ProtectMyCar for almost a year though I never had to file a claim with them. I find their product reasonably priced, and hopefully, I never need to turn in a claim, but I know that if I do, they are there. Talking with their representatives were really favorable. I was impressed with them taking the time to explain things to me. I like to ask a lot of questions and that didn’t seem to bother them. I was very pleased that they did a very good job answering my questions and trying to make me aware of what is covered under the warranty.

The warranty that I originally purchased was bought by Protect My Car. I haven’t used it a lot because I take care of my vehicle and I know a lot of expensive, important stuff is not covered. Everybody operates on part numbers. When I have my car checked, I get a part number from the dealer, then they'd call to see if the part is covered. Surprisingly, my two lumbar supports, one for the driver and one for the passenger, were not covered. They told me it's going to cost $350 apiece.
I've used my warranty a couple of times and it was the car dealer who submitted the claims. They contact my warranty provider and get a yes or no answer if it is covered. There's no gray area. Either they'll pay for it or not. I also have AAA, rental car and roadside assistance with my automobile insurance, but I haven't been using any of that.

I submitted a claim with ProtectMyCar and found out that my payments only cover the engine and the transmission. So, they denied the claim. The water pump went bad and it wasn’t in the program either. But other than that, their reps were all good and friendly.

Your policy covers far more than just the engine and transmission. Your policy lists each and every covered component and we will stack that coverage up against any policy in the industry.

I submitted one claim and Protect My Car only paid $26 and some change but it was a lot more than that. I told them I feel like I'm just wasting money and they said I have to keep it. If they're not going to pay out, why have it? And I didn't even know there are road assistance or extras that are available to me. The program wasn't described to me very well.

Please remember that these policies help you with the cost of mechanical breakdowns. They are not intended to help with regular maintenance and wear and tear items. It is for this reason we were unable to help you with the purchase of new tires, fluid changes and other regular maintenance.

When I got my warranty, it wasn't hard at all for me to make payments. My discussion with the rep was excellent. As a matter of fact, the man was courteous. I had questions and he answered them. That's the reason why I decided to go that way and I haven't had any issues. ProtectMyCar is a very easy company to deal with. I'd be definitely recommending to a friend.

ProtectMyCar as a warranty provider sounded like a good deal and I thought I should give them a shot. When I filed a claim, I called them because we needed somebody to come out and check the tire. Then somebody called me back the next day and then I tried to call him back because I was busy and I never got an answer. Nobody showed up until the next day. So, the police stopped, changed the tire, and then I went and bought new tires after that.

Your policy does provide roadside assistance and towing benefits so please do keep the wallet sized card on your policy with you in the car so that with one phone call you can get the help you need right away.

I got an auto warranty to protect my car in case something happens. I purchased the premium package deal that ProtectMyCar had which is 70,000 miles for the car. I asked them to take the payments from my credit card and give me a receipt each time although I've never received the very first receipt. I haven't submitted a claim at this point since I only have 5,000 miles on it but I was told that if my car would break down, to take it to a shop and they’d be gotten a hold of. It’d cost me $50 and they would take care of everything from there.

You are right. it is nice to know that when you do have a problem with your vehicle, with one phone call you can get towed in, activate rental car benefits and get fast, efficient claims service. That’s what we call good peace of mind.

They promptly take payments every month from my checking account, but when I put in two claims via phone, they completely turned down the first one, while the second one took over a month. If I would've known it'll be so difficult to deal with them, I would not have got that. They're terrible and I would never recommend them to anybody.

The only time I used ProtectMyCar was when it was still Precision and I had no problems. Though it would be nice if they would cover batteries. I’ve never had to replace a battery in three years, and it cost me a $138 yesterday. I’m not really happy with that. Before, I had Esurance for extended warranty and I've always had batteries covered. Another issue that I had was when I bought a tire under Precision and it literally was not covered. They didn’t give me a mileage pack. To be honest, I'm looking at another company yesterday. Precision was great, but I was not even informed that it was switching company.

To answer your question, the policy covers you for covered repairs on mechanical breakdowns, not wear and tear items like tires, or batteries. That allows us to keep the monthly premium very low.
We were happy to have helped you with the repair to you rear speed sensor and window switch. That repair alone saved you over $450.

I've done oil changes and tire rotation with ProtectMyCar and I had one problem. When I took my car to the Toyota place, they said that they did not see anything for tire rotation. I told them that it was on there because I had it done but at that time, I couldn’t get the tire rotation. So I called the company then they went on and put it back. I don’t know what they got dismissed off there, but it was straightened out.

When I purchased my ProtectMyCar warranty it wasn’t difficult to make payments. The sales representative described the service well and he was courteous. I’ve been paying, but I haven’t had any need of their service so far. It’s not going to cover me for too long, and I haven’t had to use them so I wish there was some extended warranty after that, if I never had to make a claim.

If you pass either the miles or the time limit on your policy we will be happy to provide extended coverage at that time. We have policies that are specifically designed for high mileage older vehicles. They combine coverage for repairs, oil changes, towing and rental car benefits and much more.

One time, the place that did the work for my claim never received a check so I ended up having to pay for it myself. But they got paid and then I got paid so it all worked out. Moreover, I use their rental car benefits. I find it very convenient having ProtectMyCar. I’ve already recommended a couple of people who have signed up and one was my best friend. She signed up, and they sent me $100. I had a reliable experience.

Once I got everything squared away with their claims rep, it worked out all right with the most recent one. We had a misunderstanding on what was supposed to be covered and what was not. So I went back and looked at the book and found that it was covered and told him on what page it was on. We came to an understanding afterwards.

Paying for the warranty was easy, they set it up on an installment plan. One time, I called and asked about a dash cracking and was told quickly that they didn't cover cosmetic. I would not go with them again.

You have no doubt reviewed the policy and have seen that the policy lists each and every covered component. We make it very clear what components are covered and which are not. The reason for this is simple. We want you to know right up front and in writing exactly what is covered with no hidden or confusing terms. Some components are not covered and for a very good reason. If we covered every single component of your vehicle, the cost of the policy could easily be three or four times what you are paying for it. Most people would be unable to afford such coverage. We cover the components that are most likely to break down and for the most part are the most costly to repair.

A couple of times I have filed a claim and it was difficult the last time because I was trying to convince Protect My Car that one of the parts that I needed to get covered was supposed to have been covered. They didn't want to redeem the fuel pump assembly. Communication seemed a bit rude and wasn't all courteous. They said, "We look at it as this part is covered. It was the only thing that really caused a problem. I’ve had them take the car over to the Chevy dealership to see about getting it fixed, and my car has been working okay.

ProtectMyCar's representative was very kind and explained everything about their insurance. Payments are easy because they take it automatically from my debit card every month. Their insurance has been useful. I feel covered and secured with it.

I had one episode where my car broke down and called ProtectMyCar but I never got results. They said somebody was coming, but nobody showed up. I sat there for seven hours until I finally got a guy who came by late and helped me out. The next day, I got a call from ProtectMyCar and they said that there was a bad wreck on the interstate and it went on and on and it was tied up so nobody could get to me.

As we told you at the time in September, 2014, we deeply regret that the roadside assistance operator did not make it to you in a timely manner. We strive to make sure that the policy and the benefits give you good peace of mind. In this instance we dropped the ball and we again apologize for that lapse.
We operate efficiently nationwide and in Canada. To handle the volume of calls for towing and roadside assistance, we hire third party companies directly to expedite providing help to our policyholders. While we strive to make sure these companies handle the towing and assistance timely and efficiently, we know that it will not always happen. Nevertheless, we take responsibility for any delay, even those outside of our control.
To help make that right, we are discounting the cost of your coverage $300, effective immediately. We want this coverage to be a positive experience for you and hope that this discount will help do that.

When I was purchasing the warranty from ProtectMyCar, they told me I had a bumper to bumper warranty. Right now my car is sitting in the garage, broke. I checked to get this fixed and they've been telling me that I'm not covered under that warranty. I've been paying a lot for this insurance, yet I have to pay to fix the car out of my pocket. Right now, I'm very dissatisfied because they lied to me.

The gasket you needed replaced is not a covered component. However the alternator that you may need repaired is covered under the policy. That repair will be handled efficiently when you are ready to proceed. Simply call us or have your mechanic call us to complete the claim.
The purpose of the policy is to pay the cost of covered repairs less the deductible. No policy, no matter who issues it, will cover 100% of a vehicle. As your vehicle ages and more miles are added it will be more likely that future repairs will be required. As comprehensive as the policy is, it is far more likely that future repairs will be to covered components. When that occurs and we are able to help you with those repairs, you will be very glad you had the foresight to protect yourself with this coverage.

The gentleman from ProtectMyCar.com who I spoke with was nice. We set up the account and it's going good. I was going to pay it all off and I don't know what happened that I didn't so I've been making monthly payments.

We do work hard to make sure the policy premiums are comfortable on any budget. There really is no substitute for good peace of mind, and that means fast help when you have a breakdown, as well as help with your budget.

I needed protection on my car and I chose ProtectMyCar. One time, I thought I had a claim on a recall on my car and I had taken it to the shop, and then I called ProtectMyCar and they said that part of my car was not under my warranty. I said it was fine, but they still let me rent a car for a whole week when they didn't have to.

ProtectMyCar.com makes my payments really easy, but since they changed their name, I've gotten very little communication from them. There was hardly anything in the mail to the point where I even forgot what the name of the company was.

We changed our name to Protect My Car (from Solace) to more accurately reflect what we do for our customers. What will never change is our willingness to go the extra mile to help you when you need it.
