Montway Auto Transport Reviews

The driver was cool, nice, friendly and helpful. But Montway had been pushing the date back. First, it was one day and then, it was two days. The next thing you know, I had to wait a week because of the scheduling. But either way, I liked the service. I wish though the driver hadn't left the keys in the car and drained the battery. It was hard because the car was parked all the way in front so it had another car behind it. The car came out fine. But then my car is a ‘50s car and it was heavy. He was parked towards a slope where we were fighting the slope. So, pushing the car out was hard. I didn't think we were gonna be able to do it because it wouldn't turn on and it was just me and him, so I had to push while he steered. It took all my strength that I ever had to use. Other than that, it was okay.

The reps were very professional and the experience with them was great. The quote wasn’t the cheapest but it wasn’t very expensive too. So, it was in the middle and reliable. The delivery of the vehicle was supposed to be on the 21st but they arrived on the 19th. They said the maximum day that they will deliver it was on the 21st but they could deliver it before that. So, I appreciated that. That was much better. I was staying in a hotel and they came to me and delivered the car in the hotel parking. It was smooth. People may find something cheaper but maybe they will be unhappy. They will be satisfied with the experience with Montway and they will not have a headache with their car. That was what my friend told me, too.

Montway told me they were going to pick the vehicle up from my hometown, my house. But then on the day of, they called and said they would not be able to come to that location, even though that was what was agreed upon. They ended up meeting in a larger parking lot at a food store then it got shipped out to us. It only took a few days to get here. It got dropped off right at our apartment building. It was dusty, but that's to be expected. There could have been a bit more communication as we were waiting for a carrier to be assigned to our shipment. I'd like just some clarity in that process. But everything else in the actual transport was really great.

I’ve used Montway before. They were very easy to work with. They were quick and they do their inspections and got the car on the road quickly. The cost was fair, given mine was far moves across country.

I liked the price that Montway had and the ability to get the job done as quickly as I needed. Everybody else couldn’t jump when I needed them to. Montway did and I had a good experience. They were on time and were very helpful. I was impressed. The driver was going to be at my house a half a day before I could so he dragged his feet a little bit and he made it work. That's what customer service is. I was in Washington and the cars were being transported to my house in Arizona. I didn’t have to jump through a lot of hoops. It was nice.

Setting everything up was very fast and the service was great. The quote was higher than other companies, but Montway gave us a better delivery date. So, we decided to pay extra to get the car transported as fast as possible. We had a great experience with Montway Auto Transport. They're reliable. They delivered at the time they said they were gonna do.

Some of my family members were moving from Tucson to Michigan, and they didn't want to be driving their car up. I looked up some companies that transport vehicles. The one that I found that sounded the best and had the best reviews was Montway. We set it up, and they were absolutely great. They came the day they said they were going to come. The guy that came was wonderful. He was very friendly. He called before he was going to arrive, so that they could meet him at like a grocery store parking lot because they live on a hill and we'd never get a truck up there to get the car.

Montway Auto Transport answered my call. The gentleman that took the car was very nice and he got the car there sooner than he thought he would. They did great.

The quote was a bit overpriced, but it was very accurate. Also, the car arrived in perfect shape. It was the way it was when Montway picked it up. However, Montway didn't tell me exactly what I could and could not load in the car. I realized I could have taken more advantage of loading the car, because they told me I could only put things in the trunk. And if I put things in the backseat, I would pay $100 more. But they never explained how much I could put in the backseat. And I know even some people loaded the right front seat. Other than that, everything worked out beautifully.

The first company I picked was really horrendous and borderline fraud. But Montway is just the opposite of that. I reached out to them a week before I needed the car to be picked up and the price was still lower than the previous one. They did what they said they would and they were very responsive, easy, and straightforward. The ending bill was the same as the initial quote I got.

Montway gave me a good quote, which was the reason why I chose them. I had several requirements. We had to transport a few household stuff in the car. There were several things I needed to go with the car because we're flying from Oregon to here. We didn't have a lot of things to move so we just wanted to have something that can transport with our car. We had fixed flight tickets so we didn't want to go with the company who would say, "Okay," then, “We are not quite sure,” and “We don’t know,” if they don't confirm. But Montway did a good job of making sure that the car would be picked up on time and delivered around the time. That made us feel comfortable. The rep was good at explaining everything and setting it up right away. The quote was a little higher than I expected. But because of all those criteria that fulfilled my requirement, and it was across country, so I considered.

I called Montway and someone got back to me. They did an excellent job. The driver they had was really good, and they were ahead of schedule. I'd recommend them. They had an enclosed trailer, which I requested and the car was even wrapped in plastic. I was happy.

Montway was quick at answering my questions and their quote seemed fair. It was on the lower end of things compared to most of the other shippers. The pickup and delivery were pretty good. It was a much better experience versus the other time that I had a vehicle shipped. They were actually there within the timeframe they told me they'd come. The driver notified me that he'd be here the next day by noon. In the same way, when he was dropping the vehicle off, he also said when he was gonna be there. The car made it in one piece.

It was really easy to communicate with Montway, and I like the text messaging features too. Everything was super smooth. I take my hat off to the driver because I know he went through a snowstorm and he was on time and super communicative. The coordinator was pretty straightforward. She gave me the details I needed. So, it was seamless. The pricing was spot-on. I compared it to other quotes I got, and it wasn't the cheapest, but it was definitely one of the more cost-efficient ones I got. The ratings I saw were solid, so I picked Montway.

I was considering reviews, not price, and dependability and how the process was explained to me. Montway's reviews that I read were very good. They were not the cheapest, but money was not a problem with this. We were going to come back at the end of March and I started looking into them about the 1st of March. I wanted somebody who would come, take the car, and be responsible. Montway kept me informed, told me how it would work, and they did a good job.

And the final cost was the same as I was quoted. To anyone who wants to try Montway, check them out. Do your own research so that you're satisfied. Look at the other comments that you'll see online about it.

Everybody from Montway was very nice all the way through and knew what they were talking about. However, there was a chip on the windshield that I wasn't told about, and I'm guessing that happened during transport. I didn't notice it until long after the couriers left. And then, there were a couple of scratches on the side of the car, but that could have been the dealer. It was quick to sign the papers when the car was unloaded. They were in a bit of a rush, so they had to go. So, I felt awkward taking my time and looking it over. But they were very nice. Also, Montway's quote was accurate and right in line with a few of the other companies that I looked at. I would recommend Montway to a lot of people if they were asking for a transport.

I called Montway. I liked the way the operator on the other end handled it, and I gave them my business. The final cost was precise. The driver was great. He was a day early. He was very communicative to where he was going to drop the vehicle because it was a semi, and it couldn't come in to my street. He was very helpful and he was telling me where he was going to be meeting me at. He was very professional. Everything's good. Keep doing a good job Montway.

When I called on Monday, Montway sent a driver out. His name was Igor. He picked up my car on Tuesday. I haven't heard from him, but he said he was gonna try to get the car to New Jersey today at around 11:00. He made me feel comfortable, and I didn't stress once. He's a very good person. He met me in the parking garage. He took pictures. Anything I asked him, he did. I don't know if my car's delivered yet, but he kept me in the loop. Montway delivered my car here from the start. They messed up my billing, so that was stressful. They charged my card twice. But this time around, it was smooth.

I was helping my daughter move from Seattle to California. I went online to try to find companies and figure out who was good. I went with Montway and they were great the whole time. They were quick to respond almost to a fault. I contacted them about three months before I used them, and they kept sending me follow-up emails, which was fine. One of the things I liked about them is that when I did get into the actual dispatch, they were in good contact and everything worked as we had talked about.

Montway ran into a problem where they weren't communicating properly. They scheduled to pick the vehicle up two different times and nobody ever showed up. I reached out and they fixed it right away. I got my vehicle from point A to point B without any issues and it was great. The quote they gave me was accurate. I've used them before and I'll use them again.

Montway Auto Transport was very efficient. That's why I went with them. No questions in my mind at all. If I shop around, it might be $100 here or there, but it didn't make any difference. The truck driver communicated with the owner and with me and it was all good. He said he was from Ukraine. He didn't speak a lot of English, but he did a good job and delivered it and was gone in 30 minutes. So, everything worked out good. Got a brand-new truck and trailer.

From what I read on a lot of the reviews, some companies quote you a price and then it would go up, especially if you'd do it a few months in advance. So having the quote locked in and knowing what that cost would be without any changes was another element that made us choose them. I had a good experience not only with the customer service but also the driver that picked up the vehicle and the driver that dropped it off.

It was easy to get a transport. I called Montway and I found the person I spoke to on the other side to be able to answer my questions clearly. And they were professional and easy to talk to. I submitted a request online after I spoke with them and then they got back to me quickly. And then, we were able to get something scheduled in the next few weeks. But my timeline was flexible. That made it easier for everybody. I was able to share with them if I had a hard start or end date. And just knowing that they have a bunch of drivers, that everybody's timeline might look differently depending on the route and the driver that you get. The stressful part for a lot of people is not knowing exactly the day their car is going to arrive when they're going long distance, so being open to that flexibility and speaking one's needs upfront is important.

I used an app called Shippit and selected Montway. It was all through text. It was good and easy. I took a picture of the car and I had a couple of pictures I uploaded. They were behind because one of their trucks was down but they let me know what happened. Everything was through the app and it was pretty easy and I had no issues with the communication.

I needed quick delivery and Montway had the fast one. The quote stayed the same in the final pricing. The representative kept me informed and the courier driver was great. I was nervous but they brought the car on time. I would tell others to use Montway.

All the drivers and the people I spoke to on the phone, I was very happy with. They let me know in the interim where the car was and what I could expect.

My experience with the last driver was super good, too. I lived in Idaho and he went to our church and his wife was involved with our church. It was hilarious and just a small world. The price was reasonable as well. If you're a car freak and you keep buying cars like we do, Montway's service is a good way to make it easy to get them to you.

The delivery was flawless. The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is that the driver of the truck spoke no English. Other than that, Montway kept their promise and they were on time, and it was a fair price.

I've been dealing with Montway for several years now. I always use them every time I buy a car from out of town or if I need to ship my daughter's car. The only thing that is important to me is they meet the timeframe that I need for something delivered and they are usually close to meeting it. That's why I use them. I like how Montway has the upfront price and the cash price for former customers. I like that they offer that discount for customers that have been dealing with their company for a while. Also, everything I needed, I asked the guy who was upfront with me about everything. So, it was good customer service. I recently had a good experience with the driver. He was a good driver and seemed to be a nice guy.

I called the dealership where I bought a bunch of cars and asked for a recommendation. They recommended Montway. They’re using them in general, and they never had an issue. It was easy to book the transport and it was communicated well. I had specific wants, the Montway rep said it would be no problem, and they followed through with what they said they were going to. The delivery process was awesome. I fly private, so I landed in Chicago and the driver met me at the airport. I walked off the plane, got my car that he transported there and drove to my condo. It couldn't have gone smoother.

Montway moved cars, and they did it right. The initial contact with whoever it was was very pleasant, respectful, and attentive to what I wanted. I contacted one other group and they were like, “Oh, we'll get back to you when we get around to it.” And the guys from Montway were like, “What do you want? When do you want it? How do you want it done?” They were very nice about everything.

Montway gave me a call, let me know they were close, and they had to meet me at a certain area in town because I live out in a rural area. Plus, I didn't have a place for them to park that vehicle. So, I met them in town, they were sitting there waiting. They were generous and respectable. We did a round of vehicle inspection and they got the vehicle off the truck immediately and I was pleased with their performance. They did what they had to do. They got the vehicle to me as quickly as possible and it was right on the time that they estimated it would arrive. I would use the company again for whatever reason I need to have another vehicle shipped in that way.

Montway seemed to be really well-organized and that gave the impression they knew what they were doing. Everything was handled online. Although I got a call because I had some questions about the timing. But the experience was all positive. I got a call with a delivery window from the driver the night before. We agreed on a meeting spot because the condo where I live has limited parking. I went down there and he showed up within 10 minutes of my arrival and unloaded the car. It was quick and easy. However, the truck that was used for my transport was not a top-class, Blue Chip truck. It was old and dated.

Montway Auto Transport was the least expensive. We were moving to a new house, so it was a moving target. I had to book and cancel a total of three different times. Each time and even the final time, I gave them literally a couple of days’ notice. The agent I dealt with it for me on the telephone. I literally thought that by the third time, they would just hang up on me and tell me to use somebody else. But the agent put me on hold and called the driver. They had a truck to my house to pick up the car two days later. I was the first car on the truck.

I moved my car twice with Montway. I moved it from Florida to Jersey, from Jersey to South Dakota. I had a good experience the first time, and the same thing the second. The pickup and the delivery of the vehicle were on point, on the money both times. Next time my car's got to come back to Jersey from South Dakota, I'm using Montway again.

Everything was as good as could be. The vehicle came from Nebraska to California and the only thing weird was when the guy delivered, it was a pouring down rain night. I was wishing it was a nice, clear night. Other than that, Montway kept in touch and the experience just good as gold. It took about a week or two because it was wintertime and things were funky and a lot of snow on the roads.

Montway was efficient, polite and clean. The driver was a nice guy. We talked for a while and filled out all the paperwork. They got the vehicle here sooner than I thought they would. Everything was top-notch.

Also, the car came a bit sooner but that was better. Go for Montway.

Montway was really the best. They helped me. I had other ones that were pulling my feet. I'm not really familiar with this. I wanted my son to call from California back here and they explained to me. I paid a couple of hundred dollars extra, but they did the right thing. They did whatever I said and I'm very happy. I will recommend them to anybody.

I needed a car moved fast because I'm in the military and I was about to move. I move around too much. Everything was taken care of within a week. Montway's driver told me when he was showing up, also told me when to meet him, and everything was perfect. Use the services.

I used Montway Auto Transport twice and I would recommend them. It was outstanding, from beginning to end. The one from Florida took two days and the one from Texas was the next day. There were two different drivers and we were in constant communication. The car was picked up on time, delivered on time, and everything was perfect.

We've used Montway twice for my car and then following with my husband's car. We were flexible with when the car can be picked up and when the car can be delivered. But, they gave us this five-day window and that could be difficult for someone who needed a car by a certain date. Other than that, their process was absolutely fabulous. I would use their service again.

The rep was great. But I got checked in the hospital and so I had to coordinate someone to meet the driver. He got a little bit annoyed about the timeframe but it wasn't that long that he waited. Everything else was fine. The quote was exactly right.

The delivery was good. The driver called, said when he was going to be here and was here within that time frame.

I originally bought some open trucks transport and called Montway to see if I could upgrade it. They immediately upgraded it and it was acceptable price-wise. Montway Auto Transport was not only pretty competitive but the way that they explained and how they facilitate the move to me was the best bet at the time. The driver came, took a ton of pictures, and documented my car really well. He gave me a good explanation of what was going to happen. The actual movers were 20 times better than the movers I dealt with for my household items. They were super quick to respond and really informative. Every time I email them, they quickly got back to me. The transport took six days and everything they told me was exactly what happened. So overall, their customer service and ability to deliver what they told me far exceeded my expectations.

I didn't realize that until the day before that I hadn't chosen "all credit cards". So, I paid part by credit card, and I ended up paying the rest in cash. Other than that, the cost of the move was fair and it was worth the money we paid. Our drivers were professional. They contacted my sister-in-law up in Illinois, and she worked with them to get the car onto the truck up there. The two drivers contacted me the night before, a few hours out and then an hour out. They delivered the vehicle right to our house. They did a great job.

Montway told me when they were going to pick the vehicle up and when they were going to deliver it. I had to call to change the date but I didn't feel that there was an issue in any way. I didn't realize that there were options of having a close transport which is what I ended up doing. But if you're not in that business, I don't think the average consumer would know that. They're thinking that the cars are going to be loaded like when you see one of those open things with all the cars on the freeway. I was very happy to see that I could have it inside and completely out of the elements.

The only thing I didn't understand was the quote Montway gave me, and then I was to pay the driver when he arrived. He wanted cash. When I told Montway my concern, then I was able to pay them upfront for everything. The driver was super nice. He was concerned, taking care of the truck, but he made it. It was a great experience for the first time I've ever done that. I was going to reach out again. I've got some stuff I need to move to Mobile, Alabama.

Montway is always on top of things and their price has been right. They had to come in from New Jersey for me. They worked their butts off to get the driver to the destination as quickly as possible - more so than the transports I've used before. All the drivers have been professional, courteous and careful.

Montway Auto Transport was the first one I called and they responded. They negotiated out and the quote was a little bit higher. My car was at my friend's house in Denver and he works. So, I told them that the pick up had to be after 5:00 on this day. But they totally disregarded that and picked the car up at four o'clock on a Thursday when he's off on Fridays. The driver was very good. By the time I walked from the end of my cul-de-sac down to his truck, he already had the vehicle off his truck. Dollar for dollar, their service was quite satisfactory to me. I'm probably going to be calling Montway in a few months to use their services again.

Montway is a good company. The driver gave me his personal cellphone number and everything was pretty smooth.

We were very set on a date and Montway was flexible with the scheduling because they had contractors. I liked that. I had to change the date because they were supposed to pick it up on a Monday but I wasn't going to be home. They were good with changing the pick-up date. I paid exactly what they said I was gonna pay. The driver was great and was in communication the whole time letting me know what time we were going to meet. We took pictures of the car beforehand to make sure if I had scratches or dents, he didn't make any more. I was a little worried because I didn't know anyone who used the company. Everyone I know told me to just drive the car down myself but I wanted to save the mileage.

Montway gave a good price and they were cheaper than anyone else. But customer service wasn't very thorough. Whenever I went to pay for the services, they kept sending me the wrong form. I had to fill it out multiple times for the credit card authorization. And then they were supposed to have sent me an email with all the information regarding the transport, but they never did. I was able to get ahold of my contact person and get a verbal confirmation of everything. But still never had anything solid like an email with all the details. He just gave me a code that I could go online with and view the status of the car. I had issues with that as well so I had to keep calling and asking him. Eventually, it was just like, "Oh, here's the information. Send it to me in a text message."

Montway got to the point and answered all my questions. I also liked the pitches they had. They were adequate for what I wanted to do. I really enjoyed working with the driver. He came right where he needed to come. He was helpful and informative and took really good care of the car. It was real nice once it got off. We had about 10 people there and everybody loved him. The one thing that Montway didn't have that I would have liked to know was where the car was. Some services have GPS where you can always check on your car. But the driver was good about that. I'd call him and he'd always answer. He never made me wait. Other than the GPS thing, Montway is great and I've already recommended them to two other people.

I'm a fan of Montway. We have agreed on a price and everything is done and I've given them my credit card. But then they started negotiating for extra charges which bothered the heck out of me. Everything else was great. I'm very happy and I'll probably go with them again. But if they will renegotiate one more time, I will not because then it becomes an ethics issue.

Montway had the lowest rate on their site which started out at 12.99. It was in my budget. I used them twice on two different occasions and both times, they were very, very professional. Also, off the jump, it felt legit. Sometimes, I'm skeptical with auto transport companies because I'm giving them my car. It's a $30,000 car and I wanna make sure I'm gonna get my vehicle on time and in the same condition that it was given.

I had an excellent and very happy experience with the reps. The pickup and delivery of my vehicle was perfect. Montway arrived in Florida before I did so the car was in my driveway when I got there.

Montway had very good reviews. I moved two cars with them in the past. I just moved those two now and one more because the service was good. Customer service was very responsive. The quote I was given was fair and well laid out. Usually, with movers, it's not always organized and not always scheduled properly. But in this case with Montway, it was. There was a bit of a snafu at first because I told them that I couldn't receive the car before a certain date and that was not entered properly in the reservation. But it was fixed thereafter. The driver was communicative through the process. For the pickup, he was right in our street. And then he gave us enough time to be able to go to the location. He was coming as close as possible to the location for the delivery.

I wish it was an easier process where I could do it and pay for everything online without having to do it over the phone. The vehicle was ready but it was a day earlier than I expected so I was trying to get ahold of them right before I got on the plane. I was not able to get ahold of them that way so I ended up sending a message. It went and the message got carried around. The driver was on point but I noticed that he had to contact me via some app in order to get ahold of me. But if I wanted to call them, it was a little bit harder. They weren't able to accept calls but they were able to make phone calls out on their end. But the service was great and I already recommended Montway to two other people that are trying to see if they need to relocate.

We've used Montway before in the company. In my division, it's at least 5 and 10. They've always worked well with us. The quote is competitive and the drivers are very pleasant, kind and professional. Everything arrived in great order too. I'd definitely use Montway again. They were a great service.

Montway was reasonable in comparison to what we did a couple of years ago so we went with it. Customer service was very satisfactory and everybody did a great job. I had complete confidence that the driver was going to take very good care of our car on the way out to California. It was dirty when it arrived but it was fine. No dings, no nothing. When he dropped the vehicle off, my brother was up here to take it. He called us before he came and verified that he'd be there in a couple of hours. I would use Montway Auto Transport again.

I went with Montway after the first company I chose couldn't come up with a delivery possibility. My car was picked up near Chattanooga and delivered to my son's residence near Durango, Colorado to a rural location. It was delivered at the quoted price too.

The whole thing went seamless from the time Montway showed up to pick up my motorcycle, making a visual inspection before they loaded it on a truck, to strapping it down and getting it loaded on the truck. And the day that I received it at my home, they unloaded it properly, pulled it out on the street, and did another visual inspection. I signed off on it. It was a good experience. I would highly recommend the company.

Dealing with Montway Auto Transport reps was very good and the driver was excellent.

I got Montway's name from my sister who also used them when they transported a car from Florida to Minnesota. She had a good experience with them. From the get-go, the rep had quoted me a price that was higher than other companies. I kind of believed the other companies and needed the lower rate, but they weren't delivering. Montway stuck with their price and when the other companies started calling me, it was much higher than what Montway was quoting. It became a game and I was tired of playing it so I went with Montway because they were straight. It might have cost me more money but Montway delivered on their promises.

I did my initial application online and it was quick. I paid a deposit and the rest was scheduled through a phone conversation. My move was supposed to take seven days but it was when Texas was devastated by extreme weather so it took an additional three days than what it was supposed to be. Other than that, I really enjoyed my experience. It was stress-free and I'd definitely use Montway again. I recommend it to all my friends who are trying to ship their car.

I was doing a Google search and Montway came up at the top. They had good reviews and the price they gave me was competitive. Plus, I liked their customer service. Then, everything went smoothly during the pickup and delivery of my vehicle. The only mishap was my car got to me very dirty but that was because it was exposed to the element and there were a little bit of rainstorm along the way, so that was to be expected. Other than that, the drivers were polite and very nice. If I had to transport my vehicle in the future for any reason, I would probably go to them again.

Montway was fantastic. I was working with another company prior to them, and they were really slow to get me a driver assigned, so I switched over to Montway. They were able to get me a driver assigned within a couple of days. They met my time frame. They were really quick to get the vehicle transported across the country, so I was really happy with them. I was moving for work and it was short notice. I was being transferred from California to Florida and I sold my house rapidly and was able to get my vehicle picked up and transported for my move.

It's a very competitive space and the representative that I worked with was nice and reasonable. It also seemed like Montway is experienced in doing commercial auto transport as opposed to just throwing the car on the back of a freighter, so I felt like my car was safe. The pick-up and the delivery were super smooth. Everything seemed very standardized. Find an app, and the car showed up. There was a bit of a delay because it was wetter in the middle of winter, but it was fine. I was kept in the loop. I would definitely recommend Montway to a friend. It was a fair price and it worked out great.

Everybody at Montway was really nice and prompt. They got the car to me in time and there was no problem with the pickup or the drop-off. The cost was fair. It was only 1,200 to bring it from California to Durham, North Carolina. That was pretty good and I got what I paid for.

I like the online accessibility with Montway Auto Transport because I don't like calling and being on hold. I was just emailed about what was going on. The quote was exact and the driver was a very nice gentleman. The condition of the vehicle was the same as what we expected. It was a smooth transaction.

The guy that came and picked up my car was really nice and easy to deal with. He took all the pictures and was out of there in 10 minutes. He made it really easy for me to meet him wherever I needed to go. I was trying to figure out where could he pick it up because I live on a small block but he told me not to worry about it and that he'd find a place nearby. Then he'd call when he got there. I had the car delivered to my son in college and I told the driver that I didn't know if my son was going to get there exactly when he gets there because he didn't have a car. But he said he'd pick him up with my car and he could drive him back. So, he was totally accommodating and fantastic.

The contact with the driver of Montway was great. He was right on time. I had him pick the vehicle up after we had already left to move out here. I just left the keys in the car like I was supposed to. And he didn't have any issues. He just picked it up and delivered it right when it was supposed to be delivered.

I called Montway and their rep explained to me how the quotes worked with the drivers. He gave me everything I needed to know and he answered all my questions. I told him I was gonna call a couple more places and see what could give me the best rate. I called a couple of places and the rates weren't as good. Everybody else was at least a couple hundred dollars higher. I told them the rate that I got with Montway and they couldn't really beat it. They asked if that was after taxes and after this and that. I called Montway back and I asked all the questions. The sales guy said it was the final price.

The customer service of Montway was weird. It was all text. I had one call with somebody and that was very brief. The rest of it was just messages and emails. But they were pretty consistent. They've done a pretty good job of being able to communicate effectively, without actually doing it over the phone or utilizing a live person. They did a good job across the board. It seemed to take a while before they found the right driver to be able to get my car across the country though. I kept getting the same email over and over again. “We're working to try and find you a transporter. We'll be in touch as soon as we have one.” That went on for about two weeks. That got kind of old because I was getting a little concerned that they weren't going to be able to get it there when I needed it.

I was quite pleased with how the whole thing turned out. Everything went really well. But I wish there was a way to track it without having to contact with anybody, like tracking a package type of thing, where you might be able to have updates or status. Because I had asked for a specific date, and they gave me more of a date range. As it got close to that date, I really didn't wanna call and bug them because I was confident that it was gonna get done. I wasn't anxious enough to call and bug somebody each day, but I was curious.

I did some research online and Montway had good reviews. So, I hired them to transport a vehicle that my brother and I had driven from Daytona Beach to Portland, Oregon. He subsequently passed away and I had to bring it back. The transport took the amount of time that they said it was going to take, which was five days. Then, the price I paid was exactly what they quoted me. Aside from that, the driver was outstanding, very friendly, and took good care of my vehicle. I live on a cul-de-sac and he had a big truck, so he had to back it down the block, but there was no problem.

Montway Auto Transport was an excellent company to work with. Their reps were courteous and very knowledgeable. The gentleman who picked up the truck picked it up not in front of my house but on the street outside. Then they delivered it to my home here in Jersey. It was right in front of the house, which surprised me. Also, I paid exactly what was quoted to me.

Montway's rep called the day before. I was able to either email or text pictures over to make sure the driver wouldn't get stuck. The driver then showed up well within his window time. The car is wide, so I wouldn't have been able to get it out of the trailer. And he did a great job getting it out. He was incredible.

The quote was reasonable. It was within $100 of everybody else. The car was here on time and in good condition. Everything went fine. If I needed any assistance in the future, I'll look Montway up.

Usually, different places charge more. I was glad with the quotes I found with Montway. It was a reasonable price. The driver was friendly and he helped out.

We were buying a home in Florida and I realized we would need more than one car here. I had one shipped down. I've shipped before. So, I went through the whole gamut, and I just kept coming back to Montway. They seem to have the best reputation. The delivery got a little confusing for a minute. I didn't understand when I first booked it that they were taking the car to Orlando and then someone would put it on a smaller vehicle and bring it over here. It wasn't that big of a deal. The guy with the smaller truck came over and met us. He did a great job. It worked out well.

Montway Auto Transport had the best price. The vehicle was picked up in North Carolina and it was delivered to my door and the driver was excellent. I’d definitely use them again.

I've used Montway before. This is the third car in the last four years that I've moved with them. The coordinator did a nice job. He made it easy and it worked out well. I was satisfied with the service. The job was done right and next time I gotta move something, I'll check with them.

For the most part, everything went really smooth with Montway. There were just a couple of times where I had to keep requesting information. One of the complaints I have is they considered Hawaii a specialized department. So I couldn't call just the general information line to get an update on my vehicle. They had to transfer me to the specialized department of someone that was in Hawaii, even after my vehicle had left Hawaii. So that was a bit annoying. But it wasn't a showstopper. They responded back. If they had to call back the next day or because it was after their business hours, they all responded the next day, appropriately. The driver was also courteous. He called when he was just about an hour out. He showed up early, which was fine with me. He did really well. The car was also clean when he dropped it off.

I liked the driver a lot. He was direct and honest as well fast, efficient and careful.

I called Montway and the fellow I talked to was real cordial, nice and polite. He told me the segments to getting my motorcycle shipped. One would be shutting it up, another would be the date when to pick it up, another would be in transportation and the last one would be delivery. And everything fell right in place. The communication was great. They filled me in on what was going to go on. They called me back a couple of times to see if everything was still ready and on the go, and when I would be expecting to do it. Because I was shipping this thing 1,500 miles, so it took a little bit of talking. But everything came out just fine.

Montway was very communicative. They let us know exactly when they'd be able to pick up the car and we didn't expect it would be done so quickly. The driver came and picked it up, put it on the truck, and took it right away. It got cross country within a few days. They were all very nice. Also, they charged us $10 less than what they said they would.

Montway has the enclosed trailer and their pricing was good. Everybody was also great. Their quote was fair too. It was better than some of the other ones. So I'm happy with it. The delivery was also great. The driver was courteous. They pulled it right up to my house. They were very thorough in the initial inspection and they were really careful with the car. It was everything I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The person that I spoke with was definitely very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Made the process really simple. The quote was accurate to the original pricing as well. It was a bit more than some of the other folks, but I just really liked what I felt like I'd be getting with Montway. I was able to reach someone quickly anytime I had questions. It was easy to reach someone to chat, and no one was pushy. While I wasn't here for the delivery, I spoke with the leasing office here and asked them if they could do it. The person delivering my car came and spoke with the manager at the leasing office. He got the keys from the leasing office manager and was able to put my car in the garage for me. It was smooth and seamless.

Montway Auto Transport was reasonably priced. Setting the transport up online was easy to do and the phone calls, setting it up, were also very easy to do. The driver answered all my questions and when he dropped the vehicle off, he was originally going to drop it off outside of the neighborhood and my mom was the one picking it up. He offered to get it off the truck and pull it into the driveway. He didn't need to but he went above and beyond.

I was very pleased with the services of Montway. They're very professional. The whole process was shorter than a week. I had a 48-hour notice that I would be shipping out of California. I was able to contact the company and they got the car shipped within 48 hours and delivered within four days.

My experience with their customer service was great. My daughter was going back to college and needed her car. During the delivery, my daughter took the vehicle and there were no issues. She said everything was good. I’m using Montway again in a month. I’m transporting that same vehicle back.

The system set up the majority of the transport. It was pretty automated. The driver was really nice. We kept in contact during pick-up and delivery. He let me know really far ahead of time that he was gonna be here.

The driver was great on pick up. He communicated well with my daughter. She had to drive her car out of the neighborhood, which was fine, because he wasn't sure he'd be able to get the truck down. He was very easy to get ahold of and easy to speak to. Even when we were trying to see exactly when he was coming, because my daughter was having an issue with her car that it was at the mechanics, and he was very accurate on the time.

The experience was very painless. He came to my home and picked up the car. He explained to me that he would be at the location when I got there. He called me and told me he was out front of the apartment and there was my car. If I'm moving again, I will call Montway.

We went back and forth with trying to figure out a pricing. I was trying to get the best price and Montway came back with a price the second time around. In the quote, it showed it’s for a closed transport. I accepted it, and then they changed the pricing on me. They said it was because they quoted an open transport and I wanted a closed transport.

I submitted a request for a quote and got a quote back fairly quickly, within a day. Then, they had originally found a truck that they thought was going to be going through the local area for pickup. But then that fell through. Then within a couple of days from that, they found another carrier that was going through the area. From there, the process was really smooth. Communications were very good about the pickup times and day. He was there right on schedule, very pleasant to work with on both ends, good at communicating, got the vehicle there about one day earlier than scheduled, arranged a suitable pickup location and pickup went smooth. I tried to make some adjustments to where I had him meet me that was going to be easy for him so that he didn't have to try to drive through very congested areas and have difficulty turning around. It worked out really well with Montway.

I was surprised how quickly Montway was able to pick the vehicle up and get it out there. They had one driver scheduled and had to back off but another one came right up. So they were able to get it even quicker. They were really good about keeping me informed on everything that was going on. Their quote was reasonable and in line with the other ones.

The reps were terrific. The first person I called was very knowledgeable and explained everything. Everyone, subsequently, that I talked to was fine. In fact, we had an extended period of time where we were in touch, because it turned out that my wife got diagnosed with cancer and had to have some surgeries. We put the car in storage, and they held the contract open for almost five months. When we came back, it's like we never quit. It was very easy. They referenced the number and knew just what we wanted to do.

Everything was good. Pickup and delivery were very swift and I got the vehicle the day they promised. There was no issue with the car as well. All in all, Montway has everything lined up perfectly.

I bought a motorcycle on Cycle Trader from Waco, Texas and I needed to have it transported to Eugene, Oregon. I called Montway and they were very responsive and did a great job. I got multiple text messages regarding the process and I was fully informed all the way through. It was very impressive. The transport took almost three weeks but it was wintertime, so I didn't need the motorcycle immediately and I wasn't worried about the time that it took. But I was communicated to along the way, as far as where the trucker was.

Montway's communication back and forth online was excellent. I moved a truck from Texas to Ohio. The initial quote and ending cost were spot on. There were no glitches. I've moved vehicles before where there were a lot of poor communication. Montway was quick to communicate via email and then via text. Then I had the driver in the dispatch phone number. The driver was outstanding. He was polite. I had my three-year-old granddaughter with me. He let her come over and look at the truck and put the flashers on for when it was coming off. The truck was as it was when it left. It was a little dirty, but that was the week of the ice storm in Dallas. They got out right before the ice storm hit. Overall, Montway's quote comes in right. Use them. They were not the absolute cheapest, but they weren't by far the most expensive.

Montway did a good job. I got my truck all in one piece and I had no issues and no excuses. They did what I asked them to do. I'm satisfied.

I did everything online and it was great. The quote was right on too. There wasn't a penny less or more. When I have questions and I went back on the chat line, the rep picked up my service request number, and they put me in contact with the person that was handling me, so I was dealing with the same person. The driver also called me when he picked the car up and then when he got up here, he called me again then I went and picked it up.

I made the call to Montway, and they were very helpful and prompt in talking to me. So, I stayed with them. My son, some time ago, transferred himself to a job in San Francisco from upstate New York, and COVID came along. As a gift to him, we transported his car out there. He was without a car for a long time. We just put it on a truck and sent it to him in San Francisco. It left on a Friday and it got there on a Thursday. I talked to the driver for a little bit. He was a good fellow. Montway did a good job. I'm very happy with them. It was the first experience I ever had moving a car like that, and they did a good job.

I needed to transfer my vehicle from New Jersey to Michigan. Montway had the best one from what I got the information from. Their rep called a couple of times and made sure that the car was on its way and when to expect it. When they first quoted me a month ago, it was like $50 less. But it was more after when the car came in. As far as the pickup, I had the driver drop the car off at a nearby hotel, which is only about a mile from my place, because it was a lot easier for him to do that than try to come into my driveway on a busy street. That went real smooth. He gave me a call when he was about five miles out and I met him over there. Everything worked out fine. I recommended Montway a couple of times when people were asking on our online forum about car haulers.

Montway offers good insurance and I saw good reviews. Also, when I was dealing with them, they were very speedy with replies, and that helped me decide. I liked them. Especially when they sent the wrong truck and the guy couldn't move my car. They got right on it and sent another car. I was happy about that.

I chose Montway because they have a variety of carriers that they can rely on, not just one. I used them to get the car to my address in Florida from Tampa. That worked out really well. The next step was getting it from Florida to Virginia, so I relied on them the second time. It turned out, both times, to be excellent service. They kept me informed, which is important.

I had a Lexus SUV transported through Montway and for the most part, everything was good. We had a little bit of a problem with changing an address for the delivery. But it was just a mishap. What happened was we changed the address and it wasn't put in the system as it should have been. So, it went to the first address. Someone wound up paying the driver for it. Montway took care of it. They sent a gift card for $50 and they also took some money off with the delivery charge. There was good communication even though things got screwed up with the address. Someone called me back. They called me to see how the delivery made out and I told them what happened, and then they had a manager call me back. I have recommended Montway to somebody else who shipped their car a couple of weeks after ours, and they had no problem.

Montway's customer service rep was very good. The gentleman that did the pickup and delivery did a good job and was very informative.

I really enjoyed using Montway and I was pleased. Everything was good. It was quick, efficient and the car was moving in less than a week, which is impressive. Pick up was fast. Delivery was also quick and less than four days. The driver kept me updated almost every couple of hours. He would text me and tell me how far they were, which was helpful. It was also door-to-door, which I liked.

When I called, the man I talked to was great. He answered all my questions and took me through the whole process. He explained to me how they would do the transport. They would arrange with me what would be a good range of days they could pick up the car, and I would give them an address to drop it off. He also explained what the charges would be and that we needed to have the car in running condition. We had to replace the battery on our car before it would be ready to be picked up because it had sat out for a while.

Everything was great with Montway. The driver called me ahead of time and let me know he was coming for the delivery. I told him where I would meet him, went there, reviewed the vehicle and walked around. He unhooked it and gave me all of the documentation for the vehicle.

Montway's prices were comparative but it was the reviews and my dealership down in Huntsville that had used their service before and was quite happy that made me go with them. I had a phone call within an hour, setting everything up. Three hours later, the driver was emailing me. I wasn't down in Huntsville at the time of the pick-up but my dealer called me right away and said they had a beautiful truck. Everything went smooth. When the driver was supposed to be here, he was having an issue with his truck about three hours south of my location but he got that taken care of and he was there. It was spot on. The only anything I didn't like about the driver was he didn't drop off the Ferrari with me. I asked him but he wouldn't do it. Other than that, I was extremely happy and I will be using Montway again. It was worth the money.

The guy picked up the car in Washington and delivered it to Oklahoma on time and no damage. There was no communication once he took off until he got here. But we really didn't need it. We had a tag on the rearview mirror so we knew where the car was at all times. As far as communications, my communication was direct with the truck driver after the company contacted me and gave me his contact information. He told me when he was gonna pick it up and who he was. I was very well-informed. I told him where I’d meet him. He showed up on time where we were supposed to meet, loaded the car, and went on his way.

The reps at Montway were very helpful and not pushy. They asked questions that I felt like needed to be asked. Some others, not so much. I talked to somebody at Montway and the other one, and they seemed knowledgeable. They explained the process. I ended up talking to a couple of different people ‘cause there were a couple of delays and some different things but every time I talked to anybody at Montway, I felt very satisfied with the way they handled themselves.

The rep and I got together on a price and the pickup point, and it was on the island of Bainbridge. It worked out very well. They met with the owner, transported the car and came back. It was fast service and the driver knew what he was doing. It was a newer truck and he had to back it in for about two blocks rather than taking a chance on being able to make a U-turn. He was very good about it and I was very happy.

I used Montway once before and I was pretty satisfied with them. I went with them again and it went really well with the driver. I would definitely recommend them.

There were two people with Montway that I communicated with over a few weeks. Because we were still trying to determine when the car would move, looking for titles, so it didn't happen right away. They stayed with me, that part was good. The only downside was, two weeks later, when I finally said I'm ready to go, the price went up 100 bucks. But the price was still very fair. The driver was excellent. He met me at our auto mechanic’s place because the car would overheat, so we had to get it taken care of before we could drive it. He helped me get the car to the mechanic. He was very friendly and helpful. Montway took good care of us and stayed in close communications. They also didn’t damage the car. We were satisfied.

Montway was on time, experienced and reliable, and I recommended them to a friend. The driver picked the vehicle up when they were going to pick it up and when they came down here, they kept me informed. However, Montway quoted me a price of 949 and right before the pickup, they said they would have to increase the cost to 999 because of either fuel cost or competitors. If it was a little bit more notice, I may have said no. But because I needed the car, I went with them anyway and I'm glad I did because everything worked out fine.

The reps at Montway were professional over the phone, answered my questions right away and were able to schedule things pretty quickly. The driver showed up on time. He went across the country with the vehicle, stayed to the timeline that he promised and did a great job. The price was what I expected and there was no damage to the vehicle. The only thing to improve is the truck I was dealing with. It was a huge trailer so the driver wasn't able to get to my home. I had to meet him on a large street that was a couple miles away.

Dealing with Montway Auto Transport was much easier than I anticipated, given the size of the company. It's a really large company and so the service is really good on the front end. Montway has tons of drivers that are contracted so some are probably better than others. This particular vehicle was a higher-dollar vehicle. So, my only concern, and it was no issue of Montway's, was waiting and hoping to get a winner. It was a little bit worrisome not knowing who the transporter was going to be until it was confirmed and they were heading your way. But I've had nothing but luck with Montway. They do a pretty good job vetting their drivers. The driver I got was exceptional. I've had shipped a lot of cars and he may be the best I've ever worked with. So I would definitely do it again.

Montway worked great with us. They were honest when I asked for one thing and they said they couldn't do it. They told us what they could do and we worked around it. The drivers were in touch and very easy to get ahold of too. They called back when I needed them to and delivered the car when they said they were. The car also arrived in good shape and no issues versus a couple other transports that we had that didn't go so well.

Things were efficient with Montway. The driver was very good at communicating when he was coming to pick the vehicle up and where he’d meet me. I met him and we got the vehicle loaded. Before he got to Albuquerque, he called and said he was getting ready to pull into town. He wanted to verify the contact information for the person who was going to receive it. I confirmed that with him and he arrived pretty much when he said he was going to. He got the vehicle off the truck and my son took care of it. However, there was some slight damage on the front of the vehicle. I didn't notice it until my wife and I arrived to town about a week later. By that time, when I called the number on the invoice, the guy said, “You have to point that out immediately.” I was a little disappointed that they couldn't do anything about that. But as far as the transport, everything went very smoothly. They got the car here pretty quickly.

The quote was reasonable and the delivery was on time and accurate. It was seamless. Overall, my experience was all very positive, and I would use Montway again.

I had confidence in Montway from the first contact. I specified an enclosed truck and the truck was well outfitted and the driver couldn't have been better. He contacted me two or three times about where he was and when he'd be there and he got there within minutes when he said he would. Also, I can't say enough good things about the care he took in unloading the vehicle when he got here.

My daughter scoped all the transport companies out and Montway was the most reasonable and was able to accommodate the dates. Also, they had the best price as far as that goes. Everything worked out well and the whole thing went very smooth. The driver was on time picking up and dropping off the car. Also, he made sure he noted all the dings and little damages that were on the car presently before he took it and did the same when he got to the destination. He's a good guy.

The driver got it here early. He also called me several times on the way in so I knew when to meet him. It was easy. I liked it.

I set it up and two days later, Montway had it booked to have somebody come pick the vehicle up. Two days later, they picked it up in Colorado and three days later, it was in Wisconsin. They communicated very well. The driver contacted me when he was getting closer then he contacted me with the exact time that he was going to be here. I went and met him in town and he showed up a couple of minutes before he said he was going to be here. I would definitely recommend Montway for anybody's needs. They took care of me like I would take care of one of my friends.

There was good communication on when to expect the pickup and interaction between who was doing the pickup and when it was being delivered. I'm in Boston so it’s a pretty packed area with traffic. The driver got me updated when he was getting close and we had a quick and easy interaction when he delivered the vehicle. It was a very seamless process.

Montway was extremely kind, very transparent and they had a great price. There was excellent communication throughout the process. They accommodated the need by transferring the vehicle safely and by letting me know exactly where it was via text or email and the estimated time of arrival of the vehicle, to make sure someone was there to pick it up, or if I want to have it left on my residence. I had a great experience.

I looked at a handful of companies and decided on Montway because of a recommendation from a neighbor who also used them. It was easy to set things up and for the most part, it was all on the up and up. All things considered, the cost was very fair. You're traveling something all the way across country. It's not like you're sticking a bottle in a ups box and sending it by freight mail. We met the driver at a Target parking lot and they inspected the vehicle. From there, they took the keys after they gave us the inspection report. They proceeded to loading it onto the vehicle for transport, and then they contacted us along the way to let us know where they were en route.

I got a better price from Montway. Things were as expected. Communication was good and they checked our answers all the time.

I used Montway before. I used them again recently and it went as expected, the same as before. I was also in constant communication with the driver. However, they’re a little more expensive than others. I used someone else for a different car transport and it worked out well, too. So, I know it can be done for a little bit cheaper.

I called Montway and someone else. I got the bid which was pretty much for the same amount but I liked the experience on the phone better with Montway. Also, the dates worked. They gave me the phone number for the person who would be doing the driving. I spoke to him and he was quite nice and well-spoken also which was a relief. He showed up when he said he would. We told him we live on a cul-de-sac so we asked him about getting his trailer into our cul-de-sac and my husband had some visions of things we've had with some of the moving trucks. They're really long, getting in. He said yes, he would have to back into our cul-de-sac. We said, “Why don’t you just park right outside the cul-de-sac and give us a call and we'll drive the car out to you instead?” That worked beautifully.

I had used Montway previously. They got right back to me. They made sure that all my questions were answered. They delivered on their promises and it was easy to make transactions. I was always in contact with the driver. Everything was really well done.

I talked with the Montway customer service and they were very helpful. Then the driver responded to me very quickly when I called. The cost with Montway Auto Transport is fair enough. If I had driven, I would still spend $600 or $800. I have told my friends and they said if they have to use it, they will use the Montway.

Montway is the online thing where you pick a vendor to ship your car. Compared to some of the other sites, it's a little bit more trustworthy. Also, compared to the other companies that would endlessly call me over and over again, it was the easy one and done deal. The coordinator was super helpful, answered all my questions, and very informative, where he had all the information, especially about insurance-wise, which a lot of people couldn't answer. That was also part of the reason I went with them. The driver that actually got my car was amazing and super nice. He picked it up in Texas, drove to California, and my mom and brother got it where they met him. Everything went super well. I like how they recorded everything and a very thorough job on the pick-up and drop-off.

The driver gave me updates so that I know when he could pick up my car and when it would be delivered. The quote was a bit higher than other market options but it was acceptable.

They were great. Everyone was so kind and so accommodating. When they came out to pick up my car, immediately, I knew that my car was in safe hands. The delivery was right on time. It was what they said it was gonna be. It was perfect. There was some bad weather everybody had to get through. That was when they had the freezing and the ice storms. But my car got here just perfectly.

Montway said they'd do what I wanted but my move ended up terrible. It took forever and they kept passing the buck. They kept promising and promising and never picked up the car. Also, they quoted the move at 680 but they got to the point that they said, "Well, if you give us 900, we can pick it up right away." I'll never use them again.

Montway Auto Transport was one of the cheaper ones so I went with them, and then I realized that they were reliable and pretty good with their transportation. So, I just kept using them. I've used them three times now and they're fast and easy to deal with. The driver showed up earlier than expected. He helped me push the car into the driveway 'cause one of the cars I had didn't actually start just because it was from an auction.

Montway's customer service team was really good. The ending bill was the exact same quote they gave. They did a great job.

The quote that Montway provided to me was great but the delivery wasn’t so great. The driver wanted me to pay his part in cash and he refused to give me a receipt for that. So, I sent a reply back to Montway and let them know I would use them again next time I needed a transport but I would not accept the same driver. Montway did everything they said they would do. The service, other than the delivery, was fantastic.
