Montway Auto Transport Reviews

My with experience Montway was very good. As soon as I made the initial payment, they called and they told me that they would schedule one driver for the next five days. That was true. On the fifth day, they called me back and said that the driver was on his way to take the vehicle and he was gonna be down there tomorrow. The transport was for 600 miles. The driver picked the vehicle up in the morning and the vehicle arrived at night that same day. So, it was a very short time. They told me one price and then they charged that price. So, there were no hidden fees. I'd tell anyone considering Montway to go and pay for that one. Montway Auto Transport is better than having another service with lag and hidden fees.

I moved from San Francisco to Atlanta and when I went back out to San Francisco to get my stuff, my car needed to be repaired so I had it dropped off at the dealership. I put up a request to have my car shipped. I went through a third party option system and I gave all the details to them. Montway reached out to me and they already knew everything they needed to know. Everything was done through websites and email. We didn't really have to talk to each other until they were picking up the car. They called me for that. Montway quoted me a window and they got the car to me within that window.

The customer service and the actual movers from Montway were great. Everything was good. I had to cancel one time because the car wasn't ready. As soon as I was ready, I called them. And in a couple of days, they had me another ride down here. So, it worked out good.

Montway did a good job and I was happy with them. They were competitive price-wise. I wasn't sure when the vehicle would be ready to be transported and they stayed in touch. They did things appropriately and made it easy. The driver that brought me the vehicle was a pleasant fellow and the car arrived in good shape.

Setting up the transport with Montway was great. They knew everything they should have. The quote they gave me was very fair and comparable and the final price was extremely accurate. The transport was pretty quick and they over delivered on the quality.

I used Montway before. I used them again when I needed to transport a car I bought to where I live. Customer service was great and the quote I got was very fair. The car was picked up very quickly and was delivered ahead of schedule. It was fantastic.

The rep that I dealt with was good and thorough. He communicated. The quote that they gave me was only off by $100. They arrived way earlier than they said they would, which was good. They were very polite. They texted me a day before and told me they were gonna be arriving that day and then texted me throughout the day that they were arriving. During the drop off, they weren't able to get on to the base, so I had to drive to Walmart. But that was understandable. I was late to pick up the car. But they were patient. Overall, they had the best price and they were fast.

I would highly recommend Montway. They gave me a quote based on what I wanted and it seemed reasonable. They hooked me up with a firm in Sacramento that did the transport. The driver gave me his number and we texted throughout the trip. Because we weren't here, I arranged for someone to pick the car up and that worked out fine. They told us exactly where they were going to be. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, showed up when they said and dropped it off when they said. We also had hired movers to move all of my daughter's furniture from Los Angeles out here and it wasn't quite as seamless.

They were very responsive to my email inquiries. The customer service and the driver were very responsive. There was no hidden charges. They were on time and very efficient. It's been an excellent experience. I'm going to use them again when I go back home.

Montway was great. I had them transport my vehicle 2,200 miles from California to Virginia and it took seven days. The movers were very responsive. Anytime I had any questions, they hit me back almost immediately. This will be the next company I contact when I transport my car again.

We originally scheduled with a different company but a week later, they still hadn't picked the car up. So I was pretty mad. Then I called Montway, and they said they have a guaranteed three-day pick-up window. I said I would go with them because of their three-day pick-up window and they picked it up in 24 hours. The quote was reasonable. It was better than the other one. So we were happy with them. The gal that I talked to on the phone could not have possibly been nicer. She was awesome. Montway did a terrific job from tip to toe. We could not possibly have been more pleased. If I was gonna do anything in the future, I would do it with them.

We went looking to find somebody after the first mover fell through. Montway stepped up and it took a day or two to find the truck. I was particularly pleased that they were able to make the arrangements at the last minute. The transport was 2,520 miles from Berkeley, California to Orient, Ohio. It was slightly complicated because the vehicle wasn't running. But Vlad who was the driver got it on the truck at the beginning and got it off the truck at the end, and it was great. The vehicle was pretty much the same as it left. There was no visible damage of any kind.

I paid for an enclosed transport, which I thought was 100% enclosed, whereas this was drapes on the side of the truck, so it wasn't a totally enclosed vehicle, which meant the reason I paid for the enclosed was the car wasn't going to get soil and debris on the transport. Unfortunately, it did get soil and debris. There was also a price change. There were two different things. One was I requested a transport, I got the number, then right before I shipped, there was a different number and they had to do a correction. The second price was higher than the first price. I looked at the email and there were a couple of hundred dollars of difference in it. But the transport, in general, was perfect.

It was a simple, straightforward, and honest process. I’ll use them again if I have to move a car or vehicle.

At first, dealing with the rep was a little rough because I didn't have an exact date. But once we got everything affirmed up, Montway was very attentive and followed up. They said they were still looking for a driver because it was holiday time for a lot of drivers. They checked everything. The driver was great and updated me along the way. The service was excellent.

The experience went great. We booked it, they picked it up on time and delivered on time. There was good communication and it was a very easy process. The quote was a little bit more than the other ones but their reviews were above warranted and it was worth a couple extra bucks.

The car that I needed to have transported at the time was not running. They have a different price for vehicles that run from the ones that don’t and the original quote was for a running car. When I found out the car was not running, they had to bump the quote up. But I got somebody to go over to the house and get it to run so it worked out in the end. I got the original quote price that I wanted and they were very good about changing it back. Also, I was surprised how quick the car came. The delivery was from California to Virginia and they were early.

Montway did a good job. The pickup and delivery were smooth. I used them three times in a short period of time. The first time that I used them, their quote was better than those of the other companies that I looked at. I was happy with it. With the first move, they had some truck issues. But, the other two were really good. The cars came clean like the way they left.

I wanted somebody to take the vehicle to my son. He was down in West Palm Beach and I was in another part of the state of Florida. I set up the transport with Montway. I did most of it online and then I got a follow-up call that said that they wanted to do it a little bit earlier. But I couldn't do that so we just had to reschedule another time. But it was within a couple of days when the driver would get here. They picked it up late in the afternoon and it was in West Palm at 8:30 the next morning. My communication with the driver was very nice. He even sent me a picture of my son sitting in his car. The whole transaction was great and they gave me a fair price for taking the car down there. So I was pretty happy with everything.

The quote was lower than a lot of others for the covered transportation we were looking for. We had emails back and forth with the rep and that was good. The delivery was very quick and efficient. They parked the car and cleared the space for them to move it up. It was coordinated. It was called up before so I had a bit of heads up. Montway did a great job. We used them before too.

Montway was the cheapest transport when I was looking. The representative was really helpful and nice. They subcontracted the driver, called me, and set up the move. The driver really communicated the whole time. He was an awesome guy who was wonderful to work with. Everything went smoothly. I would refer anybody to use Montway in the future. I recommend that if their move was local or around the same area, they should have Montway contact the same driver.

We had a good experience with them. Everything was very professional. The delivery went fine. The car was dirty, but that's to be expected with transport. I'm very happy with them and I've already referred them out.

The coordinator did a great job, and was super quick and easy to work with. The driver was very helpful too. He told me when he was within a day. It was awesome. It was super easy and cost-effective.

I registered my move with another company and they gave me a quote that was significantly lower than what Montway had quoted me. I called them and talked to one of the representatives and he said, “You're not gonna get a look at it because of the fact that the price is so low that no driver is gonna pick it up.” So, I canceled the booking with the cheap company and put it on Montway. I was on a pretty tight timeframe getting my vehicle out to Eugene, Oregon and so I called Montway and told them I needed to know if they had anybody who would take my move.

A coworker who had used Montway for a cross-country move recommended them. They were all great. They were responsive, attentive and took good care of the vehicle. The initial person was lovely, gave me tons of information and super flexible. Someone went to pick the vehicle up from the place we were purchasing it from and unfortunately, it wasn’t ready. But they were flexible. They said, “No problem. We’ll send someone back when it’s ready, just give us 24 hours notice.” It all went well.

The move was from New York to Texas which took four days. Everything was explained. Both the delivery and pickup went smoothly. Everything was very thorough and Montway took care of the part. The car arrived safely, so I was very pleased.

Montway got back with me and their rep was there. All through the process, they were making me aware of everything that was taking place. I was so pleased with the whole experience with the driver they selected. The driver called and made sure that before they got there, they gave us the ETA when they would pick my car up. And then when they were getting close to the drop off, they were alerting me when they would come. My daughter is about to have her car shipped also, and I've told her she must use Montway.

I looked at three companies and went with Montway because of the availability of when the vehicle was gonna be shipped. It's a bit much to spend $500 to ship a car but in relation to the other companies we got, it was about $200 or $300 cheaper. The vehicle was sitting at my cousin's house and the driver called her in plenty enough time for her to get to her house to give him the keys. He said, “I'll be here at this time,” and he was there. From the time the driver picked it up until he dropped it off at my house, it was less than 24 hours. It was only a seven-hour drive and the only reason he had to stop is because of DOT regulations about not driving more than 10 hours.

Montway's reps were very personable. They did a good follow-up and held to their commitments. They also gave a good price and the quality of their service was excellent. My vehicle came just like it left in less than two days.

I met with the driver when he showed up. He was very good and highly professional. How the car left was how it arrived.

When you try to get a car transported, you start reaching out and you find out that half the guys are just brokers. Montway is a broker too, but they seemed to be one of the best. They get back to you and they do what they say. The truckers they use are very good. Their prices are very good. The quote they gave me was very accurate and that's a big deal. It's a very professional deal. In two of the cases, they provided me with much higher-end transports than I expected and the shipments came faster than I expected. They're good.

My dad has been using Montway for years and I asked him what's a good company and he recommended them. I used them twice and the customer service was incredible and so helpful in every way. I had a bad experience with one of the people that took the project to pick up one of my cars. Unfortunately, they were not ready for my car so it delayed me a day or so. But Montway got right back on it and found me somebody incredibly fast. That really showed me that they really cared for my business. I spread the word to my buddies who look for transport companies. I tell them Montway is the only way I go.

I had to transport my vehicle from Jacksonville to Sarasota. I got the shipping company quotes going and most of the quotes were about the same price as they were to ship from Maryland to Sarasota. I read good reviews about Montway and they gave me a quote that was fair and it was exactly the price in the end. There was no bump price. The vehicle came in perfectly. There wasn't a speck or scratch on it. It was exactly what they advertised. The vehicle came exactly how a brand-new vehicle would come off the showroom floor.

They weren't the cheapest, but it turned out that I was very pleased with them. Everything was spot on, and the service rep was the guy who drove the car down. He made it down there ahead of time. The car was transported in perfect condition.

Montway was recommended by the dealership and the quote was very reasonable. The guy who delivered the vehicle was cool. He told me the time, I showed up 30 minutes early and he was starting to unload the vehicle. He was very friendly, professional and quick.

Montway was a recommendation from a friend who had a good experience with them. They were not the cheapest but there's a lot of horror stories when you read online about what happens if you go with the cheapest. Their quote was pretty good. They were in the middle. It was competitive, at least. It was also pretty accurate. The reps were very nice and knowledgeable. It was a good experience. They got the vehicle to my daughter right outside the base early. On the other hand, I used my credit card upfront, and then there was nothing else. So the whole thing went smoothly. It was enjoyable and pretty easy. Montway was easy to work with and the driver was a good driver, too.

I had a fantastic experience with the customer service. They went above and beyond. When the driver picked my car up, he was the nuts and where I'm from, “the nuts” is a big-time compliment. He was great. It was an exceptional service. They were professional. I would recommend them to anybody.

The guy that Montway contracted to do the delivery was excellent. We've transported cars before and this guy was really good.

I put up a listing on a website called uShip and then I’ve had three different companies that were bidding on the transport. Montway was the one that kept on coming back with slightly lower and they also responded quickly when I wrote to them. They also seemed to have the most reviews and the best English. We had a few little exchanges, like phone calls here and there about how to deliver the car. They were really responsive. They gave me a good idea of when it would be arriving as it came in. The car arrived fine on the other end. It went really well.

I searched through online and Montway came up several times. I looked at reviews that people posted and did one of the online inquiries. They got back to me quick and I felt the price was good for what I needed. There was a snag during pick up and delivery and I got to meet the driver. It was a third party. They called him at the last minute because the original driver couldn't make it. But there was a guy at the dispatch center who kept checking in with me for the pick up. They were like, "Let me get back to you. The guy's running late." They took care of the whole problem, so I really didn't have an issue with it. They figured out a remedy and got it fixed. So, my transport stayed on time. My wife got the car off the trailer from the driver and that was very smooth.

I transported two cars. One was back in October and I had good service. Then, I did my next one around the holidays. Montway did well and we were happy with the service.

Montway made the transport very easy. I had never done it before, so I called them quite a few times with questions, and they were always great with that. They also came in quite a bit cheaper than some of the other companies, so I was very impressed with the pricing. When the driver stopped, I gave him cash, and he took pictures of everything and had me look over everything. He was very polite. He was great. The car arrived dirty but he had to drive through snow. So we washed it quickly, and there wasn’t any scratches on it. So it was in amazing condition when it got here. I was very pleased and everything was very smooth.

They did a great job. I got my bike and it was beautiful. They gave me updates as the bike was coming across. It was very well orchestrated.

The timeframe could have been a little bit better. I felt in the beginning that Montway was constantly pushing me to do an open carrier versus an enclosed carrier, which is what I originally asked for. But once they were able to find the closed carrier, everything was fairly smooth. The guy was on time and I was quite happy with the delivery, although the communication with him could have been better. I hope he called me when the vehicle was picked up and then when it was en route. I know sometimes they don't want to spam a person, but especially when they're delivering a quite expensive automobile, it's good to be in constant communication. But he called me 30 minutes before he arrived, which was good.

The driver kept in touch great and the vehicle was perfect when it arrived. Montway went above and beyond.

I set up the transport online and it was quick and easy. Also, their price was much lower than anybody else's. They delivered the car right on time and the one who delivered it was pretty helpful and knowledgeable. The driver called days ahead of time, then called that afternoon, and then called when he was about five minutes away. He rolled the car out of the trailer and drove it right into the garage. It couldn’t have been better.

Everything went great. The delivery driver was really polite and real careful with the car. I didn't notice any damage to it at all that I could see. I was happy with it.

I was happy with my interactions with the sales agents from Montway and the quote seemed reasonable. It may not be the lowest quote I got but it seemed reasonable and it was accurate to the final pricing. The delivery was on time and the car was in good condition. I'm happy with Montway completely. I thought that there were some underhanded people that did these services and they exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised.

The first time I used Montway, it was good. I've done many transports with them since and it's continued to be good, efficient, and reasonable. Also, whoever I get when I dial all seem to be able to pick up the other person's work and the quote is always accurate and competitive.

I started booking my auto transport and the experience was very smooth. It was very quick and the timing was great. When I called Montway's customer service, I had a good rapport with them and I felt good about that. They were thorough in the information that they gave me. They quoted me a price and it was fine. They stood by that price. But they said Montway would not take anything out until they load and drop my vehicle and that didn't take place. When the driver dispatched it off, they took the money out of my account before they even picked up my car.

Montway was very helpful. They let me know exactly what the costs were going to be. They also let me know what to expect during the whole process. The driver was very nice and professional. I had a friend meet him when he picked up the car. They spent about an hour with the car, taking pictures and unloading it. When he dropped off the car, he introduced himself to me. They took the car off the truck and took pictures too. It would have been nice if they could have cleaned the exterior and the interior. It had a little salt and all that stuff on it but that was how I left it. Montway was perfect.

Montway seemed like they were easy to deal with. I went with them and it was easy and smooth with the rep. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The driver left the vehicle at our condo in Florida. We picked up the vehicle about eight hours after it was left there and it was safe. They left the key in a safe spot. It worked out well. The price was reasonable and they stuck to it so it was good. I would recommend Montway and I would definitely use them again.

I was ready to move when Montway's reps called and said they couldn't pick my cars up for another week. I said I was gonna have to get somebody else and in about two hours, they called and had a guy show up in another hour. The driver did a nice job. He came up to my neighborhood and picked the cars up. I appreciated that he told me what was going on and then called to tell me where he would be. I've moved a number of times and I've used other car haulers. These guys are by far the best.

I had won a car at a car auction and I needed somebody to pick up the car immediately and Montway dispatched the truck within 72 hours. Then, the car was in my house within four days. Also, what I was quoted in getting was what I paid. Montway is a good quality, reliable, on time, and safe transporter.

I liked Montway's response time and their reps were very good. Though things were a bit last-minute, they were rushing to get us in. The vehicle was delivered very fast. It was very dirty and I was kind of surprised by the condition of it but that's probably typical. I would use this company again.

It’s super scary when you're moving and a lot of companies are super sketchy but Montway was super organized. My car was here in three days and the operators and my driver were awesome. There was a delay but it was Thanksgiving and it was totally understandable. Also, everyone was in good communication with me. They answered and text messaged right away. I’d recommend them to everybody. I wish they moved things.

I moved from Texas to California and we used another company but the prices were too expensive. With Montway, the reviews were good and the price was affordable. I moved from California to Ohio and they transported my Chevy. Everything was perfect. The day I made the phone call, they told me when they were going to come to pick up the car and when I was going to receive it. There was no delay in anything. They delivered my car one day before. The day they delivered my car, I couldn't pick up the phone right away because it was on mute. The driver had to wait for me almost one hour. When I saw the phone call, I called back and he was extremely friendly and very professional. It was amazing.

My son goes to college out in California and we wanted to have his vehicle shipped out to him. We live in Wisconsin and I told Montway I'd rather bring the vehicle down to the Chicago area. I know they're going across country and they need to get on 80 West. It would be quicker if I can bring it down there and I'd probably find some driver easier that's already en route across country. They were willing to work with me and it worked out pretty well.

I heard that Montway is one of the best in Illinois. The quote was a little on the higher side but as it was Montway, I didn’t look further and I went ahead with it. The person who helped me with getting a quote was very good. The service was polite, to the point and very prompt. The delivery was as promised. I hardly had to walk a few yards and it was delivered close to my home. But Montway should have given me an option of covering my car with a car protector or car cover, with additional cost. It could have protected my car from dust and scratches. I would have gone with that.

I was looking at three transport companies but Montway was able to do it in the timeframe I wanted. Also, they were the best price. The person that delivered the minivan was excellent. They did a nice job.

Montway is excellent and it was great dealing with the rep. Everything got answered when I had concerns. When the vehicle arrived, it was in good condition.

We set up a date and they here on that date. They picked up the car and delivered it to Kansas in a couple of days. They used a real nice equipment and a nice enclosed trailer. It worked out just fine.

On both ends, the driver was very prompt and had good communication. He was the intermediary that Montway called. He and his company were wonderful. We had some traffic problems for transport. They let me know when they were gonna be late and they let my son know on the other end. They asked my son if it was okay if he drove the car over if they find a Target or some big place where they could pick it up. It would be too hard for them to go onto his residential street. So, it was very nice.

My son had an old truck that he'd had since Junior High. It was given to him by his dad who's no longer around and he parked it at his uncle's place in East Texas when he left with the military. He spent a tour overseas then he came back home. His contract's finally ended and he chose not to re-enlist. He moved to Colorado where he met a young lady and the truck was miles from where he was. We had no way to get it because the truck could not be started, and he had no way to go get it as well.

I bought a new Corvette and Montway came highly recommended by the dealership. I got three quotes from them. The two quotes for the enclosed were right in line, and the third one was not enclosed and I didn't want to do an unenclosed with the new car. They kept in contact all the time and told me what was going on. They gave me the driver's number and we chatted via text a few times while he was on the five-day journey across with the car, and he kept me updated. Everything was perfect. The car was delivered looking like the day they took it out of the showroom floor in Ashland, Ohio.

I moved out of California and relocated in Arizona, and I used Montway. I did speak to somebody and I felt the price was right. I didn't feel the need to shop. I had two interactions with the Montway representatives. First, before signing up for them. I just had some questions. Second was directly with the driver. He was picking up my car. He called me a couple of times and he was great. Everything was perfect.

I needed to get my car shipped. I looked online, and Montway had good ratings and offered price quotes that were not too low and not too high. I chose them. The customer service reps were always very patient and understanding, and they answered all of my questions. I had to call a few times to repeat the quote or have them review it with me and go over details, and they always did. It was never an issue. I would recommend Montway. They did a good job.

A friend of mine from Connecticut had moved to Florida. He was impressed with Montway and he referred me to them. They were good. I had to switch my dates a few times and they were accommodating. The gentleman that transported my vehicle was excellent. I had two cars transported. One was working and I needed a jump on the other one 'cause it had been sitting in my garage for a while. He had his auto battery with him and he jumped up my car, let it warm up and drove it right up on his vehicle to transport it. He kept calling me and contacted me to let me know when he would be here and what time. Montway has outstanding customer service and attentive in meeting your timelines of when you want your car to be there. They communicate very well and they keep you abreast of what's going on. I was very impressed with them.

When I called Montway, I liked the ease of talking to people that could give me answers. The driver kept in contact before they came to pick up the car, and it worked out very well. They did keep in contact with the person they were delivering to. We were very satisfied. We've used this kind of services before and this is by far the best one that we've dealt with.

My experience with the customer service of Montway was very good. My interaction with the driver was excellent as well. It couldn't have gone better.

I looked online at several companies and Montway had some really good reviews. It was costly to move the car, but Montway came in a little lower than some of the other ones that quoted even higher, so I went with them. The quote went up a little though because I got it early on. Other than that, everybody was nice. They kept me informed. The driver, Danny, was amazing too. He called and when I called him, he picked up the phone. He came right on time, close to my house because he has the longest truck I've ever seen. He put my car in the front, drove directly to Florida, and then delivered it to my daughter. He took care of the car. It was perfect. I should have just sat in the car there and had him transport me too because that would have been fine.

I went with Montway because the car was going to be picked up within two days. This was very last minute. I did call other places too and it was right before Christmas. With the holidays, people were like, “Oh, our guys won't be back until January 4th,” but we needed it at that point. I did an instant quote and Montway told me it was about two to three days which was doable. All of a sudden, I got a change. Instead, it was going to be picked up until January 4th. Immediately, I freaked out and called. They said that was a mistake and they were going to take care of it right then. Within an hour, they already had a driver willing to pick it up the next day. That was awesome.

I feel really good doing business with them. I told them, since I’d be out of my house by that day, they helped me out and they delivered.

The quote was reasonable and the final price was exact. Everything was as it was described. I would recommend them.

Things went perfect with Montway. The rep I dealt with was very knowledgeable. The quote was right, but then they found out the truck was a little longer, so the price went up a little. Still, I was happy. They picked the truck up and they delivered it on time.

My grandson is in the military. He was in Biloxi, Mississippi, and he was transferred to Japan. He wanted to bring his vehicle home to Las Vegas, where he lives. That's a long way to drive. I went to check out the ratings, checked Montway Auto and they're well-presented. We got ahold of them and they transported the vehicle for us. They did a good job. They were on time, and they did everything right by the book, so there was no problem at all. I talked to the reps over the phone and they were helpful. They were quite efficient and they always kept in communication with me on timelines and everything else. That's what made it really nice 'cause I didn't have to worry, "Are they on time?" "Where is it at?" this or that.

Montway had a good price and they were one of the first ones to reply back with a quote. My experience with their reps was very good. The driver communicated really well. He gave us a cellphone number when he left California. We knew we wouldn't be in the town until a few days after he was. When we got into town, there was a huge snowstorm so we couldn't get the car up to our hill to our house. So we just had him hold on to it for a few days. Then we coordinated to meet him in a public area where we could get the car down. He did a really good job. He took photos beforehand, so we were confident that he was taking care of the car. They're really trustworthy and they made sure there was no damage.

The rep was great and I definitely found the quote reasonable. The driver was great too. He communicated well and he’s friendly to us.

I was very happy with Montway. Their price is reasonable. Another company was giving me a $1,000 deal. I had a little bit more luggage in the car because I have some family emergency situation. So, I have to move my car back and forth and they also picked up without any hesitation. The driver was okay too. I had a great experience with Montway.

Most of the cars we ship are in excess of $100,000. When you're moving cars like that, you can't just give them to anybody. When we use somebody, I usually get Montway. I've used them in the past, and they've always done well. The quote has been accurate. It's always been exactly what they said it would be. They've got a very good system too. They email, call and text you and give you the driver's info. They use different subcontractors (it's always a different truck), but all the drivers have been great. The drivers call you and tell you when they're coming. They do a good job, so I said, "I don't have to switch now. I’ll use them when I ship a car.” One of the guys they sent was awesome. He has one of the nicest trucks I've ever seen.

I've used Montway before through uShip. The first couple of times I shipped cars, I didn't know I could go direct with the providers. I went direct last time and Montway always has the best prices. They've always been great and communicative. They're always available when you call if you have questions. I've moved a lot and used movers and those can be a real nightmare. The car movers are super fast. Sometimes, they're even faster than you could ever expect them to be so it's always nice to have somebody pick up the phone when you call.

I went with Montway because of two things. One, they had a good reputation and two, they were willing to send someone to a very remote location in Wisconsin for an ‘87 Plymouth station wagon then come to a relatively remote location in Alabama. They offered a service that hardly anyone else did. The experience was everything I would expect it to be. They got the data I had and very quickly got back with an offer. I accepted it equally quickly and after that, everything was exactly as scheduled. What's impressive is that the driver showed up at both ends exactly on time and the timeframe was faster than I thought it would be. I've shipped cars three times and this has been by far the best experience. There are so many not-very-good people out there shipping or carrying cars and if I have an occasion to ship a car, I will go to Montway first.

Montway had a good price so I picked them. There were a couple of problems because the pick up of the car was at the Port of New Jersey. It was a real hassle getting a car out of there. They've got lines of trucks and car carriers waiting to get in. But the guy showed up. He was a day late getting it to me because there was a terrible snowstorm down in New Jersey. It was totally understandable and he communicated with me and texted me back and forth. I had sent them the documentation he needed to pick the car up and the next thing I knew, he was at the end of my driveway. I was really happy.

It was great with Montway. They were very professional. The reps are nice but they're difficult to understand. I was trying to get ahold of the driver and the driver's telephone number on the sheet that they originally gave me was disconnected. It was kind of difficult to get a handle on it. He dropped the car off and then Montway called me back in two or three days saying I gotta pay him. I asked if they could take the money out of my credit card like they took their money out and they said no. That could have been a very bad thing. They should make some type of more arrangements on giving that man his money ‘cause anybody ain’t like me. That driver probably wouldn’t have got paid. The driver wouldn’t have left without his money if he knew too. I had to draw money out and give him that Walmart to Walmart. It was inconvenient.

I was moving from California to Dallas, Texas and I was looking up car transporter places when I found Montway. The car was picked up on the 23rd and it got here on the 29th or the 30th. The final cost was the exact quote I was given. Everything was pretty nice with the exception of the driver. There were times when I would text the driver and he would give me really half-** answers or wouldn't text me back at all. He was also very rude. He was cussing at my wife in his own language. My wife would tell him something and he would ignore it. I had to get out of work early to deal with him because he was getting aggressive with my wife.

I was familiar with all the big trucks that were in the neighborhood, so I told him that it'd be okay. He followed me in and I went to a special route for him so that his truck would fit. He got as close as he could to my house. It wasn't on the driveway, but it was as close as he could get with such a huge truck.

I looked at a few companies, but I went with Montway because of the price and the fact that somebody called me back. The guy who picked up the car was new at the company. I wanted it to be an enclosed trailer and they called me and had an option for that so I jumped on it. They picked it up when they said they would. Then the delivery was flawless. They weren't even here like 20 minutes. They got the car out, put it on my driveway, and I paid them. I've never shipped a car before and I was a little apprehensive about the whole thing, but it was perfect.

They took both my cars, not just one car, and transported them 3,000 miles. They told me it was gonna take five days, but it got there a day early. The only thing that we did not expect was a storage fee, so we had to pay out of pocket on the delivery of the car. When a company is willing to go the extra mile, it really makes a difference. I recommend Montway.

The quote I was given was fair and whatever they quoted me was what we paid. Also, I really liked the fact that we were able to talk with the dispatcher personally and get updates.
