Montway Auto Transport Reviews

I was happy with everything Montway did and the driver was very nice. I've used them a couple of years ago to ship a car and it was a little more expensive this time but it was fine.

I went online and got through a lot of transporters and I thought Montway was way cheaper and better. They had to make sure the vehicle had no damages, so they came and picked up my car in North Carolina. They said they had to transport it to California so they could ship it to Hawaii. When it came here, there was a crack on my left side, the back window. The little small window was already cracked. Then the little mirror on the driver's side was wiggling.

I was relocating Gary, Indiana, to Las Vegas, Nevada. We used American Van Lines as movers and they didn't do auto transport so they recommended Montway. I made the call, got a quote, and it kind worked from there. We had a couple of dates that I tentatively had scheduled but what I liked about their service was that because it was tentative, nothing was written in stone, meaning I was able to call and change the dates that we had suggested early on a couple times. So that was really helpful. American Van Lines wasn't the same way. As an example, as the tentative date that they had it on the books got closer, I didn't hear from anybody. Then I got a call saying that the movers would be here in two days from that date. But that was tentative, so that was problematic. But I didn't have that problem with Montway.

The rep from Montway provided a quote and that was what we paid. The reps picked up the car at a place that I had decided on that was a big open parking lot in my town. So, that worked out well. And the car was dropped off at my daughter's address. The driver told me at the time that he was loading it onto the truck that it would probably be five days. It was seven days but that was reasonable. I read a lot more comments after the fact and found that it doesn't always happen to be that with them and with other transporting companies. It doesn't always work out so smoothly but I lucked out. So, I was happy that there was no damage to the car.

The customer service team from Montway was knowledgeable about every point to the shipping. The pick-up and delivery were excellent. The reps were there on the time they said they were going to be and everything was fine. The quote could have been better though. A couple of hundred dollars would even make me happy but Montway got to make their fee. They are a middle guy but I was happy with the service. If they keep an eye on their drivers and their driver's insurance, it works for me.

I was moving from California to Texas and I‘m in the military. I've shipped vehicles from overseas back to the States and it was a terrible ordeal. I was reluctant to do it again. However, from start to finish, I was perfectly satisfied with Montway. Plus, they are military-friendly. The driver and I were trying to keep the same schedule so we could meet him here because he was leaving California a different time than we were and we didn't want the vehicle to go in storage. So, he texted me along the way and when he was in San Antonio. Every time he told me he was going to be somewhere or call me, he was on time. So, I couldn’t ask for more.

The quote from Montway was good and the person went above and beyond to get my car and deliver it. Also, it was earlier than what I expected. So, it worked out perfectly for me. The overall experience was great and I do not have any complaints.

I was out of town, needed my car towed home, and I just picked Montway. The rep was excellent. It was all perfect and the quote was exactly what they told us. People should not think twice about Montway. It worked out great.

The customer service rep was very helpful and the quote was great. It was super convenient and fast, and it was a decent price. The driver was knowledgeable and the car was the same as it was when he picked it up. I was very satisfied with my experience with Montway and I’ll recommend and use them again.

The rep who helped me set up the service and I were talking longer than we had to because she was a doll and she helped me out. She was based in Indiana and the person who was getting me was based in Virginia but he was down in that area. And what Montway does is they do nationwide and contract different companies that has transport. It worked out great for me. The quote was the cheapest that I heard because I was trying to get a U-Haul and it was very complicated with what was going on but I had to get my truck up to Virginia, and I got it. It's working okay, too. The driver was a sweetheart. He was nice and even gave me some information on what I could do to get my car fixed. Everybody that I talked to dealing with Montway was great. It was a very good move. I kept their phone number and all of the information in my phone so that I have it if I ever have to use it again.

We set up the move online and within a few days, we did our quote. It was a pretty seamless process. I had an excellent experience with Montway and I liked the fact that they gave us a progression where we can see the status of our cars online. It took less than seven days for them to ship our cars.

Montway's rates were competitive and I found the customer service to be pretty positive. The driver had limited English but he was with his son and I was very pleased with the interaction I had with the son.

I called and talked to somebody at Montway and had a good experience. Also, I liked that there was an online chat that people seem to respond to pretty quickly. I shipped three cars with them in about two months. I talked to every driver and if I called or if I had questions, they answered them. During the drop offs, there was some complexity with my college kid being available to get to cars and they were nice and accommodating. And other than being a little dirtier, all of the cars arrived in just the same shape they left. There was also one time, my son broke down in Las Vegas and he ended up flying home and leaving the car there. I called Montway and my car was on a truck two hours after I ordered the pickup.

Getting a transport took just a few minutes. I had a very good experience with customer service. Communication with the drivers was very good too. The move took just a couple of days.

I had a very good experience. Everything was on time and how the process would be was communicated well with me. The driver stayed in contact. They picked the vehicle up on a Tuesday and I had it by Thursday.

I felt very good with Montway's process. But, they might have made it easier if they brought a bigger truck with a bigger liftgate. But other than that, the move was good. They did a really good job.

Their reps answered all my questions and the responsiveness of the team and the driver was good. The driver was very communicative and was on top of letting me know when he was going to be there and where to meet him.

Montway had the ability to be flexible. I needed a fairly specific timeline both for pick-up and drop-off. The setup was easy and it was just an initial phone call then there was good follow-up in both email and text to show things were tracking. The pick-up with the crew was right on time and very professional. The car was transported from the DC area to Florida. It was a couple of thousand miles and it took two days. When shipping a vehicle, it's all a matter of what a customer has as priorities. But look for a professional outfit. In my case, I had a very good experience with Montway.

I worked with a transporter but they couldn't get my car to a smaller city so I used Montway instead. They were helpful and they were able to get my car from a smaller city to an even smaller city in no time. They were fantastic.

I needed a car moved as fast as possible from Colorado to California. Montway got it there in three days, which was great. The service was really friendly. Communication was mostly through texts directly with the drivers and meeting them directly at the pick-up place. They dropped the car exactly where I wanted it. I wasn't at the house that it was being delivered to. They did a great job of dropping it off there. As soon as the driver got to the destination, he sent me pictures of the car dropped off and did inspections. Montway was very straightforward and I would highly recommend them.

I called Montway to set up and get the information and that was really easy. They weren't the cheapest but they were the most reliable according to the reviews. There was a smooth transition in the process and they made it quick and simple. The guy came as promised and hooked the car up. He picked it up around 10:00 in the morning and he was at the destination at 8:00 the next morning. I got a call from my son saying the car arrived. Go with Montway.

Montway transported my vehicle from the East Coast to the West Coast. The move took a week or less once the vehicle was picked up. I understand that Montway is just a broker, but you're working with a quality broker that hires quality truckers. If you work with a bad broker, you're gonna have a bad day.

Montway's customer service was straightforward and to the point. He gave me the quote for a cross-country transport from the East to West Coast. The prices were good and he explained everything well such as the deposit part. The driver called when he was an hour away as promised and was consistent with that. On the day they promised to deliver, the guy showed up. It was a three-day window and it worked out well. I'm very happy.

We used Montway two years ago by chance on uShip. They had the best reviews out of the people who were bidding on the dispatch thing. When we needed the service again, we thought they would be the best to use. Communication was automated at first. But when I was able to speak with someone, everyone I spoke to had a great disposition. When the car arrived, my husband said the rims were scratched up from the driver taking it off the rack. The driver was very forthcoming and offered to pay for it. We didn't pursue anything with him. All in all, I was satisfied.

Out of the services I tried, the only one that actually went to try to get my car was Montway. The other services made a bunch of promises and didn't fulfill them. Montway, on the other hand, did big time. Any time I reached out to them, they got back to me within the same business day. I didn't have too many questions because they streamlined things and made them really easy. They really did a good job harboring the communication between the person who I bought the vehicle from and myself. They were able to get everything scheduled and I didn't have to do much.

I started with the uship.com website and got quite a few quotes upwards because I was transporting two cars. At the time, they were wanting anywhere from $3,500 to $4,000. Montway was one of the companies that was in the quote. They were second in price, but it was still expensive. I called them up to see if they'd give me a secondary quote. When I did, the quote came in under $3,000. They also came in with the timeline that I needed for my car transportation.

My experience with Montway was very positive. The driver who picked up the vehicle looked at my vehicle thoroughly. He was friendly, professional, and explained what he was doing. He was able to arrive at my house. He arrived around the time that he was supposed to. He made a mistake and brought the car to a different address because he was not given the correct address by someone else. But he eventually found it, which was fine.

I called a few companies, and Montway was responsive and quick. I was very comfortable to work with them. The representative that set up the transport picked up right away, and even sent me a text. He was available every time I called him.

Everything was top-notch with Montway. I got an instant quote online and then, I got a call back within 30 minutes to verify that I still wanted the car to be transported. Everything was 100%. The driver was very polite, professional and made sure that all my questions were answered. He took photos of everything and made sure that everything was right with the car. He had the bill of lading right there and made sure everything was right with that. There were no issues whatsoever. He called me an hour beforehand and showed up when he said he was. I've used Montway three times and I would recommend them to anybody who needs their car transported.

Montway took a while to connect with me. I kept trying to reach out to the owner to verify information. He was busy. I had to call four times myself, and he had a difficult time connecting me to the contact. But I got through and my car was delivered early and in a great condition, and they were very helpful. I'm very happy. I would use them again.

Everything was smooth with Montway and I would recommend them. They were good with communicating with me. It was primarily by call or text. They shipped the vehicle from right outside of Atlanta, Georgia to El Paso and it took about 24 hours, which wasn’t that long.

Montway kept in contact with me wherever they were at when they delivered the car, which was what we were interested in. They did a good job. They delivered right to my front door. I also checked on two different companies besides Montway, and Montway was the cheapest. Use them. They did fine by me.

A neighbor saw my car and she asked how I got my car here from Hawaii and I said that I used a transport company. Then she said that her daughter was trying to move to California. So, the next time I saw her, I got her telephone number and forwarded the website and the telephone number of Montway. I told them about it because when I first had my car shipped to Hawaii, I used Matson. And during the pandemic, they said they were not going to do auto anymore, especially when it came to the mainland, like when it came to transporting the car from the location to Long Beach. They totally got out of the business. So, I went with Montway. They took care of everything from start to finish. So, I like them.

The initial person I talked to wasn't the most friendly and that made me wanna go with someone else. But after that, the person who transported my car was super helpful. I called him and bothered him with a ton of questions regarding the car since I was leaving it with the key hidden. He was super helpful with delivery and flexible. The vehicle got there sooner than I thought it was gonna.

I looked on the internet for the company that had the best reviews, and one of my friends helped me. He said one of his friends used Montway, so it was a good company to go with. They're honest people. They explained things well, and I didn't have any questions. The only thing was I kept getting emails saying that I needed to update my credit card, which I didn't because they had billed it. It kept coming, but they said, "Don't worry. Everything is taken care of." The communication was great. I told Montway, "Hey, I would like to get it here as soon as I can. Whatever you have," and they got it here within two weeks. The guy that brought it to me was great. He communicated with me and my sister, and I had no issues at all. He was perfect.

The representatives of Montway were fairly professional, straightforward and answered the question that I had for them. The driver was fantastic and great. As for communication, leading up to that, that was the part that was a little uncomfortable for us. Because we had a window and we knew that window, but as that window approached, a driver still wasn't found. I was calling each day. Then eventually, the representative said, “90% of the time, we have a driver, like we assign it.” I didn't know that. But 10% of the time, they don't have one until late in the game.

The person who spoke to me was brilliant. He answered my questions, got me a transport the next day and the vehicle was the way I expected it to be when it arrived. I will use Montway again. They were excellent.

Montway was awesome. The communication and them getting back to me, and the whole securing the truck and paying for it were all great. It wasn't an easy pick up. It was a VW bus that didn't start up and they had to get it on the truck. I never heard one complaint. They followed up with me and told me when it was going to come. The driver called the guy who's going to pick it up and the guy got it off the truck in a classic car place in Wylie, Texas. He did it in a day. If I have cars to move again, I'm calling them Montway.

Everybody was in the same price range, but Montway answered first. The driver was phenomenal. He kept me in touch the whole way even when it had to be taken from one spot to another spot.

The quote from Montway was quick and they seemed real professional. Their rep verified the information that I put in on the website and then told me the options with regards to payment and what have you. Then, he told me the next steps and everything worked just as he said it would. Also, from the dispatcher to the transporter, we had their name and contact information available where we could coordinate with them and they could coordinate with the insurance adjuster where the vehicle was. It really made the process seamless. Anybody should use Montway.

The driver reached out to me first by phone call, and then via text. I had a conflict at the time that he wanted to come. He was happy to reschedule with me. And because it was a bigger truck that needed to carry multiple cars, I met him at a parking lot about a mile away from my house, and it was easy enough.

I contacted at least three competitors and there was always a delay in when they could do it or couldn't do it, and I never experienced that with Montway. The transportation people from the time we started until the delivery was made had constant contact and always letting me know what was going on and when they would arrive. They also had to deal with security entering into the community and so I informed the security ahead of time. The men from Montway did exactly what they had to do and it was perfect. Overall, excellent, very professional, and I'd use them again.

It all went smoothly with Montway. The driver was very helpful, informative, and a pleasant person. My car was well secured in the trailer.

The truck driver called me and told me where we would meet. When he saw my car, he checked it really in-depth. He looked for any problems. We have a relatively old car, so there were a few scratches here and there. But he was very rigorous. He also told me how the transport would be and he gave me also an idea of how the delivery in Baltimore would be. My wife then picked up the car and it went fine. Overall, it was transparent and I couldn’t ask for more. I would recommend the same service to my friends.

I was moving across the country and I needed to move my 1987 Porsche. My mechanic recommended Montway because another mechanic in his shop had used them several times very successfully. They got back to me straight away when I put in an inquiry and they were very good getting everything set up. I took the car to the mechanic because he had to do a few touch-ups before it went so, they picked it up there. They coordinated with the mechanic and did a great job. The mechanic called me back and told me he was really pleased with the guy who picked the car up.

One of the other vehicles had some fluid leak onto it, so it made that a little messy. But it was a positive experience and I'd still recommend Montway.

The Montway representative who set the service up was really good. He was informative and answered any questions. The experience was good. We had a lot of questions about making sure it was a covered carrier and making sure everything got there. Because we had a hotel as a consignee and it was a different type of scenario, it wasn't going to a house. They were able to answer those questions and get everything set up. From the time they picked it up to get where it needed to go, which was cross country, the guy got it there in three and a half days. It was really fast. So, overall, from beginning to end, it was over the course of three weeks. The quote and the final pricing were also about the same. It's within a few dollars, so to me, it was good. We did a covered carrier and the pricing was in line with what it should be.

Montway’s price was right and the response was quick. I will highly recommend them. I had a very good experience with their customer service team and the driver kept me up to date.

The transporter kept up with me as to his location and approximately what time he was going to come. Even when he was going to pick up the car, he was communicating with my brother, who was holding on to the car for me. I would just like to have seen an enclosed trailer become a little less expensive. But then Montway was right on the money.

I liked what Montway said and what they had for information on the internet. The driver did an excellent job. We would use Montway again because of him. They did everything that they told me they were going to do and went beyond that by securing the car for me before we got there. They were also accurate when I paid them.

I called around and Montway gave me a good price. Then I had to clarify what time the driver had to come. The GPS took him the wrong way. Everything was on point. They did what they said they'd do.

Montway had a fast service and a good price. There was a language barrier with the driver and he was very difficult to understand and communicate with in person. But we had direct cellphone texting with him, which made communicating with him excellent.

From Hawaii to the mainland, Montway is the best choice. Compared to others, Montway's rates are pretty low. I would suggest others to use the service.

I chose Montway on the 1st of July to ship my vehicle from Michigan to California. I used it because I was recommended to it by a friend. The process was straightforward. They asked me if I want an open truck or a closed truck then they sent me a confirmation email. Before the pick-up date, the driver called me 24 hours before that he'd be coming at this time. The driver was perfect. He coordinated with me very well. It was a door-to-door service, so I did not have to worry too much about it.

We were in the process of moving to Florida from Missouri. I did research and got a quote from Montway and went with their quote. When the move got closer, I didn't know what we were doing, so I called. They said when it got within four days, the person who was moving the car would call me and make arrangements at that time. That was what happened. The actual driver gave me instructions where to meet. I gave him a good idea when we'd be here in Florida. Then I called when we got down here. They met us and dropped the truck off and we paid for it at that time.

I liked the swiftness of Montway compared to the other contracting agencies. It was nice and easy. The rep on the phone was easygoing and wasn’t too oppressive like most of the other agencies. The quote that I received online and the quote they told me to pay were the same all across the board. There were no extra charges. During the transport, there was no communication. The trucker told me he had the vehicle and he let me know when he departed. Then, he let me know six hours prior that he was going to arrive. So, that was nice. Everything ran smoothly and I would recommend Montway.

When I called Montway, a representative immediately came in and he answered all my questions, as opposed to other places who where going through voicemail. Also, I felt like the representative was very clear. He mentioned the dates when it will be available. He said, "It's a guarantee that if you take this service, it will be there in 5 days. If you take that, the other service, it will be there in 8 days or 10 days.” That made me do feel a little bit more confident in making my decision.

Montway is an honest company. They were pleasant on the phone and the guy came over on time when he picked up my car. They had to go one block for him to drive my car to his truck because he couldn't turn on my tight street. He delivered to my house in Nevada. He had to walk a block away because he couldn't turn. If he went the right route, he could have got in front of my house, but that's okay.

The Montway rep helped out and explained the process. After that, I was communicating with the driver. However, there was a language barrier. But other than the language barrier, we worked it out. My initial quote with Montway changed within a week. So I called back. I had issues as far as locking in my military moves. Then between that week, it went up about 600 bucks. But that second increase stayed at that price between that second quote and delivery.

I was needing to get a car shipped that I bought across country and Montway had the best conditions for me as far as price and timeline. Their representative was good and always called me back and gave me all the information I needed. He was professional. The driver showed up on time and unloaded the car and it was good. They took care of the car. It was as described. Give them a call and use them. I'd recommend them.

When I sent out details and I was looking for somebody, Montway responded. Some people recommended other places, which I'm glad I did not take. When I was ready to decide on who I wanted, I remembered seeing Montway's ad in my phone. Then I reached out to them, and the rest is history. The price was a little high. However, given this situation with gas prices, I guess it is what it is. I needed to move, so I paid it. The person who did the pickup and delivery was very courteous and professional. He called and told me he would be at my house in like half an hour. However, there was an accident and he did call me and let me know, so he'd be half an hour later. He came at night, which wasn't bad. I was home, at least, and he was there when he said he'd be there.

We tried one other company, but they couldn't find a driver. We used Montway and everything was great.

My experience with Montway was good. The first time, it was good too. There was good communication. The guy picked the vehicle up as he said he would and dropped it off. He also called me ahead of time. It was very smooth.

The pricing of Montway was fair. Their initial quote and the bill were the same. There were no upcharges. The driver was amazing as well. My husband was on the New Jersey side, and I was on the California side. My husband really liked the driver. He had some conversations with him. He felt I would have a safe interaction with him on the other side. They estimated that the delivery would take five to seven days, and it only took four days.

I researched probably a dozen companies and Montway was not the highest or the lowest but when I looked into them as opposed to some others, I got a feeling that they would take care of what I needed. The drivers were a husband and wife team and the wife did the communicating while the husband was driving. They were great. Montway's communication was better than some of the ones I was looking at, which I appreciated. I like being kept informed of what's going on. If I had a question, they gave me an answer and let me know how everything was going to happen step by step. It went exactly as planned.

I've used Montway multiple times. It's a good experience that when you call Montway, you get the people, and it's at the main center in Illinois, their household. They get back to you. They do a real job of communicating, email, texts and I like that. Their website is also really good, easy to understand, and that their communication is good. They follow it through, they dispatch, and they say, “Okay, it's been assigned to a driver. Here’s the driver’s number.” They don't really miss a beat.

Montway's customer service was good. They answered even late in the evening. They were polite. I got a good and fair quote. The guy that delivered was courteous. Overall, it was a good experience. I would refer them to other people.

Everything went well and they came faster than they said they would. Setting up was a super simple process. I talked to other companies, and they made it a lot more complicated. I work and I have a life, so when a company goes above and beyond to make it simple for the customer, it's definitely something that I’d recommend and/or use in the future.

I would use Montway again if I had to. It was excellent. The driver was really good.

I manage a private golf club and one of our members transported a vehicle from Charleston, South Carolina to another family in the northeast and he recommended Montway's services and I will continue using their services in the future because they were great. It was a very easy process to facilitate. Setting up the service was quick and efficient. I was here when the driver took the car. He was professional, got what he needed to and got out of here. It was $800 for the whole thing, and I thought it'd be more. So, I was very impressed at the entire operation. It was great. Give them a shot. I've only had one experience with them, but it was as good as it gets and I can't imagine a better job being performed.

I needed to get the car moved down to San Diego fast and Montway's response was quick. The driver came and got the car, took it down there, and delivered it like they said they’d do.

My experience with Montway was very easy. It was also very flexible as far as paying. They also asked the right questions.

I've used Montway for about three times, and my brothers probably used it like six times. Pickup was good. I was in Iraq at that time, and the driver picked the car up from my mom's house and it was really simple. I was still in Iraq when he dropped it off, but the car ended up in my garage. Everything went well. I will continue to use them.

My experience with Montway was literally like night and day compared with RoadRunner. RoadRunner was housed in Maryland and their office hours were such that carriers on the west coast (I’m in Nevada) would send me their notice that they wanted to pick up my car, but they would send it to their office after they were closed. For months, I could not get my car picked up. With Montway, that was completely not so. The second day, I got a notification from a carrier that they were picking up my car, that they would call and let me know, and that within three days they were gonna pick it up. I knew exactly what to expect. Everything that was promised was done and the car arrived in perfect shape from Florida to Nevada.

Everybody was kind and super nice. They kept in touch with us. The car got here very quickly. It worked out lovely with Montway.

I used Montway based off of price and reliability. Their reps were pretty quick to respond and they follow through on all their actions. The driver explained everything, and the car was in the same condition as when it left.

Everything was great with my experience with Montway. We had a little issue about when it was going to get picked up and we were supposed to have a window of five days 'cause we were moving out of state and we needed the car picked up on a certain date. So, that was a little confusing, but we got it fixed, and then it turned out to be a really great experience. The procedure was fine. The driver who came and picked up the car was excellent. He kept in touch with us, told us when he got there, picked up the car. He represented the company great.

I sent a car and a truck from Arizona to North Carolina with Montway. The transport took two weeks and the communication with the driver was perfect. He was a very friendly, good guy.

Everything went very well with Montway. They were good. They came, got the car and they moved it. However, when the car was put in my driveway, it was at a slight angle instead of straight. That was impeding the other garage opening.

When I submitted a request for information, I was contacted really quickly. Then, they told me it could be up to five days. But then, I got a call from the transport himself, saying he'd be picking up the car the next day. So, I got my car in 24 hours. It was really quick. They brought it right to my driveway. It doesn't get any better than that. Their quote was also really reasonable. It was less than everybody else's. This was the first time I've done this and there were no surprises. The car was in perfect condition. He unloaded it off the truck, I signed the paperwork and paid them the cash. Everything was seamless. I would highly recommend Montway.

Montway has done a couple of cars from me in the last few months. It’s mostly gone smooth.

We found Montway and they're a big national company. We called them and they were easy to deal with. We needed my mom's car to go from Palm Springs to Aspen Snowmass area. They set that up and did everything exactly when they were supposed to. They were quick and did it the same day they were supposed to do it. The guys met me where I needed to meet them over here because we're up in the mountains.

Everything was super-smooth. It was great. They were super-nice and helpful. The transporter was great. He called me several times throughout the whole thing. I would definitely use Montway again if I ever need to.

The driver was excellent. He happened to live about 15 minutes from where we relocated to, so he was here sooner than expected. So we were very happy. However, there was a discrepancy between the contract and the verbal quote. I asked why the quote that came in writing was lower and his verbal quote was higher, and they wanted to process the higher amount through the credit card. He said it all depended on fees that are added, the driver, depending on who picked it up, or who's assigned to it. He said the price was the price. I ended up paying the higher price. But everything else was great with my experience with Montway.

Montway answered all my questions and told me the full process. If I had a question if I wanted to know exactly when my car would be in Louisiana, I could call the truck driver, and he would tell me exactly where he would be. But I would like the pickup times to be better. I would like to know the exact pickup time. Whenever they did have to pick up my car, they told me a set time between 2:00 and 3:00. They moved that back to 7:00 PM so that was a five-hour swing.

Montway's customer service was great and the process was very easy. I got a quote online, made a reservation online and paid for it. Then I was contacted by Montway and they said they would look for a driver. They found a driver within a couple days and within the week, the car was already shipped and on its way to go.

They were really on time and were very professional. The final cost was a little less than they quoted. The driver was here when he said he was going to be here. It was excellent.

I called 2 carriers and it seemed like Montway was available and willing to do it the quickest. The delivery was pretty good. It took a little bit longer than I thought it would, but judging from where the vehicle was located and where I was, I understand. There’s not a lot of travel from that area to my state. Communication was also fairly good. When I had a question, I called, and Montway was quick on getting back to me with an answer.

They have great service and coordination. It was an easy experience.

My car broke down in the middle of Colorado and the quote I got from Montway made sense considering it's in the middle of nowhere. It got picked up and delivered quickly.

There was this one place called Ultimate Transport. I put a down deposit on, and not only did I do that, but then I ended up having to cancel it because nobody ever got back to me for days. On top of all that, they made me pay $100 more for a cancellation fee. Montway was really a godsend because not only did they charge less, but they were a lot more professional. All in all, it was a really easy, sweat-free type of endeavor with them. They kept me updated and they got it here pretty quick. I would recommend Montway to anyone.

The rep was helpful and the cost was reasonable for what I was asking for. Montway did everything they said they were going to do. The transport was from Arizona to Oregon and it took them about three days from start to finish. I would recommend them and will use them again.

I've got what my money was worth out of it. It was well put together and organized. The people who were there were very friendly with me.

The customer service of Montway was good. However, the quote was not good because it was changed after I'd committed. They added $130 to the quote. There were some scratches on the car that weren't there before too. But it wasn't enough to go through the whole process of getting someone to pay for it. But the driver was very cooperative and the timeframe was good.

They did what they said they were going to do for the price they said they were going to do it. I was very pleased with the service of Montway. The driver was extremely helpful and courteous. Particularly on the delivery, they had a bit of trouble. For some reason, the car was flooded and it wouldn't start. He came back the next morning to help my niece, who received the car, get the car started. He lives close to where she is. It was very gracious of him to take a bit of time that morning to help her with it. He was very timely. He has a delightful personality. We felt reassured that the car would be safe in travel and delivery would be as stated. I would recommend Montway.

Montway was really good. The communication was excellent, which I really appreciate. They kept me really well-informed throughout the whole process. I had called the line a couple of times and they also contacted me. Then, they had good communication also with the party, which happened to be a Ford dealership where I bought the vehicle. It was really well-coordinated that way. Everything went smoothly on the pickup side. Then, on the delivery side, it was good too.

I was shopping around at different transportation companies that focused on auto transport and I saw that the Montway had really good reviews among customers. I received a call about a quote and the price was right. I then went online to purchase the transport service. Most of my interactions with their customer service were through chat. I liked this feature and it was very convenient. I prefer chatting with representatives because there is a written record of what somebody said they would do. That's always the first thing I look for if I need to contact customer service. I searched for that on Montway's website and it was really easy to find. It popped up in the bottom corner.

I'm a truck driver and we've got a transportation service as well, which is more into the consumer field. A friend of mine thought that I was gonna be able to do a car transport for her and she called and asked me. I said, “I'm not gonna be able to, but let me look around.” I knew California is popular for car movement and I started doing a search in that area. I got decent knowledge on how the freight works and the industry, so I knew that if I gave these guys a decent price, they'll take it. I came across Montway and they had a fitting price that I liked. The payment that they asked for was nice and not absurd. You're paying for that driver’s time and it's important to make sure that you give something that's feasible to his well-being.

When doing the scheduling, the dispatchers called me to determine the pick-up space. I assured them the street was fine. They didn't want to listen. They wanted me to pick out an open parking lot but the place was inconvenient for me. I had to travel a little bit. I understand they have a big truck, but I would wish they would be open-minded. I showed them a video and pictures. It's not like the street is too small or some they cannot go. That's the only thing. They could do better on that. But then when I would send the driver something, he would respond timely. Overall, it was a fair deal.

Customer service was very accessible. I met the driver when he picked up and dropped off the vehicle. He was very kind and personable.

We were shipping two vehicles and the original transport company that we had gone to gave us a price of about $700 a vehicle. That was really cheap. But then they came back and the price was almost quadrupled. That was when they also said that they couldn't meet our schedule. We were moving on a Monday and they didn't get back to me until Friday, so I called Montway and the price was more than the original quote that I had gotten from the original company, but it was still less than the final price they had given me.

I'm sitting so far out in stop-and-go traffic." So it was good. I was happy. I would use Montway again.

This was the first time I used Montway and doing business with them was smoother than with Sherpa. Montway wanted to accommodate me sooner and I couldn' but they gave me a good timeframe and it worked. During the transport, the driver communicated everything by text and the phone so that helped. I couldn't tell where they were but if I texted or call the driver, he would tell me. Montway took photographs so there were no problems. They're good. You give them a deposit and they assign a driver at a specific time before they give you a window which is usually five days. Then, you pay them when the driver drops the car off, and you gotta check your car before he leaves and when he comes back.

I have nothing but good things to say about Montway and I would highly recommend them. It was my first time shipping a car, and they made all the transitions and everything seamless. I was pretty much in the loop of what was happening, when my car was coming and when it was arriving here. The delivery was a little bit earlier than I was told, but that was not an issue. That was great, too.

When Montway said they were going to do my move, they picked the car up approximately when they said they were going to. Everybody seemed to be on the same page. Everything got done and the car didn't get any damage. So overall, I was happy. But Montway charged me more than the quote because the car was not able to be driven up on a ramp. The back wheels were locked up so that was a little extra.

I needed a transport service from California all the way to Pennsylvania for a vehicle that I had won in an auction. I went and I paid two companies but I went through a total of four that could not do it. They kept blowing me off. I waited until I found Montway. They were the ones that really came through for me. Every time they told me they would call me to give me an update, they sure did.

I bought a car in California and I live in Georgia. The seller told me that he shipped several cars and Montway is usually a little more expensive. But he goes for them because of customer service. I got one other quote, and Montway was already cheaper than them. One thing that swayed me off was when they informed me that I was able to have personal belongings packed into the vehicle for an extra charge, which I wasn't expecting to be able to do that. It really helped because I was coming back from deployment and my wife left our other vehicle. I sold it in California and it still had a whole load of stuff. She flew back and that didn’t get to come. My family was able to load our stuff up and then Montway took care of it and drove it. That was nice and convenient, two birds with one stone, ‘cause I’d have to ship that stuff via freight. Their customer service team was all really helpful, responsive, and took care of any questions I had.

I liked that Montway had a fixed price because everyone else was in the bait and switch. They said, “Okay, this is the cheapest.” I told them, “Okay, I'm not worried about the cheapest. Tell me, what do I have to pay?” I spoke to about 15 different companies and they all said, “Oh, it’s very low.” It was like $600 to transport. Then they were all very shady about how much I have to pay in the end. But I asked Montway repeatedly, “What do I have to pay?” They were like, “Well, you have to pay $1,100 or $10,000, $25.” With them, I also like the ease of transition. I spoke to a couple of people out there in Montway, and they were able to help me out and get my car delivered on time in perfect condition.

I read from one of the reviews that Montway's guaranteed pickup time is very accurate. They come to their guaranteed day and then they pick up the car, so I chose to go with them. Somebody sent an email and text message that the pickup driver will come in like one hour. They allowed me to load some stuff on my car. They said that usually other companies don’t allow to load any stuff on the backseat. That was one of the good things. When they were close to my house, they called me. My house is on a little street. So, they came very close to me, and then I just picked up my car. My experience with Montway went well, so I will recommend it to a friend and relative who will move their car.

The rep from Montway was professional and the quote was close. It was for a customer so I told him that I found somebody shipping the car for around 900 bucks and it was more. But with everything that's going on right now in the world, I'm glad to get the car here. I was quoted and told by the person I bought the car from that he'd been there the day before so I looked for him for the next day. But I hadn't heard from him. He finally called me the next day because he had gone home for the day because he was out of New Hampshire, which was fine. I wanted to know where the car was. So, I would make sure that somebody was at the shop if it was going to be after hours.

Both the pickup and delivery went very smoothly. I was in communication with the seller, so it was good. It was a positive experience and if I needed to do another vehicle move, I will try Montway again.

Also, my wife who was a reference librarian, after we had started looking for a transport company, went to ConsumerAffairs and printed the top five to give me, and Montway was the top on that list. They were very good and very professional. They were early in their estimate of when they were going to pick the car up, and they were also early in their estimate of when they were going to deliver it. So, they outperformed their estimate of their performance and the price was good. So, I was very well satisfied with them.

The rep that set up the transport was good. He had good communication. The delivery guys showed up, dropped the car off, and made sure everything was good and we were happy. Bunch of papers was good.

The car was going from New York to Eugene, Oregon and the estimated time was seven to nine days. So, the driver picked it up on a Monday and it got there not that Friday but the Friday after that. So, the car took almost two weeks to get there. We even had to rent a car. But other than that, everything was good. The car came back in good shape.

I felt more comfortable with the people I was working with at Montway. I had more confidence in them. The rep was very thorough. What he said would happen happened. He took care of it. The quote was spot-on too. I had some more quotes, but they were just promises.

Everyone at Montway was great and I had no issues at all. The transport was from San Diego to Boston and it took just about a week. It got there a little earlier than expected so it was fine. The driver couldn't make it up the hill so I met him down there and gave him the car. He was friendly and polite. I checked on it later in the week because of my daughter's schedule. She wanted to make sure she was home and then, he was in contact with her. Everything went smoothly.

Also, the quote and the final price were exactly the same. The people who worked with the truck were very nice. Before the driver came to do the pick up, he called me and then an hour before he dropped off the minivan, he also gave me a call.

The service was very great and on time. It was easy to communicate with the driver to be able to make sure we could connect with the pickup. The gentleman that picked up the car was great. He was very professional and on time. He was very accommodating.

The quote that Montway gave me was pretty on par with what I was being quoted by other companies. I accidentally entered my info on a spam website, so I had 12 companies call me. Montway had the best reviews too out of everybody. They had 4.5 stars while everybody else had 2 stars. The delivery of my car was pretty easy. The transporter was really nice. But the front plate mount on the car was taken off by the transporter guy and that was because somebody at Montway didn't tell him that the car I bought was a station wagon, not a sedan, which makes it longer, so he had to take it off. But when I asked him about it, he lied and said he never took it off. But overall, my experience was pretty pleasant. The front plate thing is annoying, but the rest of the car made it totally fine.

Setting up the transport was just a simple phone call. The rep that I talked to was knowledgeable and honest. The gentleman that was delivering my car let me know he was coming the day before. He showed up on time, pulled up my phone, took the car off the truck, and left.

The pickup was on time and easy. The guy was good. The drop off was the same. There was very good communication. It was a good experience.

The only thing was that I was used to them taking the full amount out of my credit card rather than having to pay the driver when he arrived. I thought that the payment was already taken care of out of my credit card. But it was only $100. Then I had to come up with a $300 in cash in order to satisfy the driver who was dropping it off. So that was a little source of agitation. But outside of that, everything else was fine.

I called Montway about six weeks in advance of the move and that was probably way too early because they're not used to operating that far in advance. There was a delay then between the initial contact and when they finally came back and said they were going to start assigning the move to a carrier. But once the vehicle was scheduled for pickup, things went very smoothly. The transport took about five days, which was fine with us because we were driving another car. We were moving from New Jersey to Florida so it was a several day trip. So the five days didn't matter. It matched up perfectly and the delivery was very easy. If I had a need again to move a vehicle, I would probably use Montway.

I did research on several transporting companies and Montway had the best price. They told me that the vehicle would be here within two to three days, and it was there within that time, so I was pretty excited about that. The guy was pretty spot on with his delivery dates and was very good at communication. Any backups he had, he let me know about it. I was pretty satisfied. Overall, it's a solid company and very trustworthy.

The driver was good. However, I added 300 pounds of my personal items for the transport and the driver didn't know. He saw my cards flew off the luggage and then wanted to just charge some more. He didn't know I already paid for that luggage and for my extra item. But the service was good and the cost was fair.

I tried to use RoadRunner but they never called me back. They wouldn't talk to me. What they would do is they'd send me a text message that said, "Hey, your vehicle is ready to ship. Call us back at this number to confirm the date and time." I called that number and then they wouldn't answer. And then, I leave a message, they wouldn't call me back, I'd call them, they wouldn't answer it, and then, they go, "Oh, your time has passed." All three times, the price went up like $400. On the other hand, it was great with Montway. The driver was nice and he looked good to go. I will use Montway again to ship a Jeep to California from Florida.

I had a good experience with Montway and I would use them again. The rep was very nice and helpful. The driver was very nice as well. He couldn't pick it up at my door side ‘cause his truck is so big. So, I had to meet him somewhere.

Everything went smoothly. Montway told me what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. That's just how it happened so I was thrilled.

Montway came and delivered when they said. The cost was the same as the quote they told me. However, I told them that I live in a gated community and the GPS took the movers to the wrong gate. It was an awkward place to load the car. They could have researched a little more. Also, the quote to return the vehicle in September was considerably higher which didn't make a lot of sense to me.

They had some issues. One of the trucks broke down, so the guy that I dealt with had to go pick the truck up in another trailer. He went out of his way for me to make it as close to the timeframe as possible, which I had no problem with. The price was too much but it is what it is. Other than that, I was happy with everything.

The car got to the other end in California and when the driver dropped it off, he tried to charge my daughter again. He asked her for $1,400 and she called me. I told her that I paid for it. She told the driver it was paid for and he backed away. It wasn't Montway's fault and also, it changed drivers several times before they got to California and the guy may not have known. Other than that, the vehicle was picked up on time and it was very convenient where they picked up from the house right when they said as well as in dropping it off in California. I had no complaints at all.

I looked at five companies and Montway Auto was one of the first ones to respond to me. One of the guys that I spoke to, AJ, seemed very forthcoming with all the information that I needed. I didn't feel like I was getting swindled in any way. He also was able to give me an estimate without too much of a hassle. He was one of the factors of why I picked Montway. They were a lot more expensive than some of the other places that I found. But when I was off looking through reviews, they picked up your car on time and all their drivers were reliable.

Montway is exactly what you're hoping for. The cost was spot on. The driver kept in touch and the transaction was super duper smooth.

I imagined that Montway is a broker, like moving companies that are not great to deal with, but the private people that they're using seem to be very hardworking. At the appointed time, the young man met my son and I in the parking lot in our local town that the car was living in. I told him that this would be the date that the car should arrive and he agreed. When we were in the airport changing planes in DC, I got a phone call from that nice young man saying he was already there and that he got there quickly. I told him I was not there yet and to just drive the car into the driveway and put the key under the mat and fair thee well. Then my car was right there when I got in. I was glad it was there and I got there the next day. This was a big cross-country move and the last thing I was worried about was a carwash. I was satisfied. Montway picked a good person and it worked out fine.

The quote was good and the delivery was fine. When I buy another car, I'll probably use Montway again. This experience all went very smoothly.
