Overall, working with Montway was a good experience. The driver called me several times about arrival. So, the communication was good.

I'm happy with Montway. They did a great job. When I talked to them and arranged to use Montway, that was fine. But then they sublet it to a Russian guy. When I phoned him, he didn't understand what I was saying. He didn't speak English very well and that was a concern for me. But as it turned out, I arranged for him to pick up the car at a storage place in Blaine, Washington. I bought the car in Canada. The fellow I bought it from drove it across the border to the storage place and that was where he picked it up. I received it two days later. Everything was fine.

The Montway agent I worked with was great and responsive. However, it was a month ahead of time that we made the arrangements but we didn't hear anything for three weeks. So, I started getting nervous. I had to call and they called back and said, “Oh, yes, we'll be in touch with you as soon as it's assigned to someone, and they can tell you when they're coming.” That part was a little bit anxiety-producing. But the person I spoke to said, “Definitely, it’s gonna be assigned to someone. Don’t worry, the car will be there in time.” And it worked out great. They were very nice. They called when they were 24 hours away and then they kept in touch with my son.

Everything went smoothly setting everything up with Montway and everything was perfect during the delivery. The guy who I dealt with at the time was very kind and delivered the vehicle on time. So, everything was okay. I appreciate the service.

I use Montway a lot. I like that they're insured. I had a claim once and it was really easy and simple to make the claim. They're a great corporate-run company and I'm not a fan of corporate. I like private. But I like them for what I need and how they do it and how they charge and also, 90% of the drivers are good. Once in a while, you'll have a bad one. But everything's not perfect.

The process with Montway was very simple. It was, “Here’s where we're going to pick up, meet us here.” Then we met him there, he did a quick inspection of the car, and that was it. It was super quick and easy. He met exactly where we told him to meet. It was also affordable.

The man who picked up the car and delivered the car was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely use them again.

The reps were great. They communicated via text and phone calls. They delivered the car before the scheduled time to arrive. They beat me here. We transport cars a lot and we'd definitely get Montway again when we relocate. I'm very satisfied.

The delivery was perfect but I had to call Montway a few times because there was a little trouble with scheduling. They had to wait three days before the pickup and I never had any confirmation until the day directly before. But they worked with me to resolve the issue and they were very pleasant to work with. Overall, they had good customer service and their price was competitive.

I went online and read some reviews of some of the different transporters. Montway seemed to have the best reviews. We were happy with our communication with the driver who called us pretty far in advance to let us know what his schedule look like. It would have been nice to have known earlier from not the driver, but Montway more exactly what the schedule is. But I understand it's probably difficult. Then we were in telephone communication from the time he picked up the car to when we got it back in California. Once we figured out what his phone number was and who was calling, we weren't surprised to get reports on where he was, or when he was expected to show up. Our experience was good. We would recommend Montway.

Everything was wonderful in my experience with Montway. I've moved several times and it was one of the most professional.

Everything was fine with our experience with Montway. They came at 10:30 at night. The guys were very cordial and considerate. It was quick. It was from Wichita, Kansas to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I spoke to the car carriers on a Wednesday. My sister got the car Friday night. We got an email that they were passing through Indianapolis and they would be there in four hours. They were a half hour late, but not a big deal. I couldn't be any happier. It was very smooth.

Montway was excellent. We had a little bit of an issue. They have a huge truck, so we had to find a location where we could meet halfway in the middle. But that was to be expected. Definitely a 5-star company. Kept me informed and kept calling me to let me know where he was. Called me when he was at the other end. It was outstanding. I can't say enough about the driver and the company.

I had to do the move at the last minute and the expectations were laid out clearly, exactly how it works. I would secure the deal and Montway would dispatch it. And as soon as they find a driver, they would notify me when the vehicle was gonna get picked up. It all made perfect sense. The driver dropped my car off half a day ahead of schedule so it was absolutely perfect.

I was shipping a car to my sister across country. Montway was like the middle of the road. It wasn't too expensive. But it wasn't too cheap. I also like the courteousness of the person that I initially spoke with. The driver was very proactive. He called when he was an hour out, which I didn't expect because I was expecting it to be two days later. So there was some communication stuff that didn't get sent to me. But I called them and there was an on-call person and he took care of it. He sent me the paperwork through email and it was done really quickly. I was really impressed. It got worked out. The driver gave me his cellphone number and I gave that to my sister. There were regular updates to my sister about when the car would be delivered.

My aunt had used Montway to transport a car from Seattle down to Texas and had nothing but great reviews. And I have nothing but the same. When the original trucker had an issue, I was reached out to immediately. Montway found me another replacement shipper very quickly. The driver was very nice, personable and talkative. He took care of my car. When I got my car, everything was great. He shipped my car down and it got there two days faster than what the original timeframe. It was a great experience overall. The original quote and final cost stayed the same, which was 1,400 cash. For my first time shipping a car, it was incredibly smooth. I would use Montway again.

Everything went great with Montway. The driver was awesome. He was on time when he said he would be. He had truck troubles. He figured it out and handled it with grace instead of anger. I'd be happy to use him again. He also spoke highly of Montway, which was cool. He said they are a great company to work with.

Our experience was fine. The only problem that I had was that my card got charged on the way there of about $55. I'm still dealing with that, trying to get that back. But otherwise, everyone was nice.

We had three cars transported from California to New Jersey and Montway was great. I would use them again. Everything worked according to the way they said it would and the cars were delivered with no issues. We used a different mover for our stuff and that was a nightmare. So compared to that, the vehicle transport was very easy and professional. Montway's cost was a little higher than others but because of the good reviews online, I went with them. They were professional, reliable and a service for the money.

We had to get the date correct because there was a mix-up on what date the car needed to be there. But after that, it was fine. They picked the car up one day and then they dropped it off the next. So, it was two days from Florida to Tennessee. They contacted us to let us know that they were on the way, and then we agreed upon a location. We picked it up from a location that was easy for the driver. We were happy about Montway and the way the car got there safely.

If I had a cross-country move, I'd definitely use Montway again. They were good. Working with their reps was pretty easy and seamless. Both the pickup and delivery were great. I wasn't able to be at pickup. They worked with someone in my family, which was awesome. Then, the delivery was super easy. The cost was fair. It was higher but also, given, the time when I did it, it was worth it.

Brian was on top of everything. It was very systemized, because I had two guys I was dealing with. I wasn't sure how it would work. Apparently, the order comes in. One guy picks it up. But it's still there. And if there isn't a response, someone else will respond to me. So, I got two people trying to get me to transport my car. I stuck with the first person that I contacted, which is good because they didn't drop the ball.

Montway was on time. They took my car to my parent’s house. My parents told me that everything went pretty smoothly. They moved the car from Pennsylvania to El Paso, and I was pretty surprised at how quickly it came in. It was not even a week. The driver called me various times. I was out of town. They called me and my Mom. It was a Saturday when they delivered it, and I thought they were calling for some other reason, but they were calling because they wanted to know if we would be there when they deliver the car. Montway did a really good job. I liked how my car was filled with a lot of my stuff, and that was not really a problem.

I was very pleased. I was able to text with my questions, and they got back to me in a timely fashion. They tried and change the drop-off time to suit them, but I had to say, “Uh, uh, uh, These people have jobs, and you'll drop it off at the agreed time. I'm sorry if that's not convenient for the driver, but I'm the customer, and I paid a lot of money.” Still, I would recommend Montway.

I shipped three cars now with Montway. Communication was good. Each of the three times I used them, they were quicker than they said they would be, and they were good about letting me know when they were going to be there. The final price was exactly what it was quoted originally. Overall, Montway was good. I recommend them.

Moving across the country is a stressful thing. In order to prepare for such a large endeavor, a person researches and plans as best as possible. I did just that in every aspect of my move including when it came to transporting my car from Washington to Virginia. The transport was quick, and everything went well. I was also pleased with the feedback I got from the driver. Montway was excellent, and I already gave my friend in Florida the company name. They are going to use it, too.

I'm a car collector, and I've been moving my cars with Montway. They got the process fined tuned that’s why I go with them. It worked great setting it up. However, there’s a lack of communication between the driver and the customer on the receiving end. They showed up unannounced. I’m an hour away from where my cars are so I had to stop what I was doing and go over there.

The whole process from start to finish was smooth and easy. The steps required were simple and straightforward and the representative that assisted us was thorough. When the gentleman came to pick up our vehicle he arrived as expected and thoroughly explained the process and reviewed the vehicle prior to transporting. We were notified that the vehicle had arrived promptly and our family member that received the vehicle was also pleased with the process. No hiccups whatsoever.

The transport from Austin, Texas to Honolulu took a week and a half, and it was seamless. The communication was great, and I really enjoyed using Montway. It was the only one where they picked the car up at my house. Everybody else, I had to take it somewhere. I was out of the country when the driver picked up the car, and that was the best thing, ‘cause I didn't even have to do anything. I put a key somewhere for the driver to find. He found it, took the car, and it was delivered on the location and date it was supposed to be. I'm going to use Montway again.

I used Montway for moving to Washington State, but we had to move back to Georgia in about a month, so we used them on both ways. The driver who transferred my car was good, both ways, but in the middle, when we were coming back from Washington State to Georgia, there was an initial driver and he was horrible. He never returned and he lied to me. Montway switched the driver, then it turned out to be great service.

My Lil red express truck is a precious family heirloom passed down to me. I was really worried about transporting this mint condition classic from Alabama to Boston. Car showed up at my door in 8 days without a scratch on it. This is not only the best and most reliable company but after doing a lot of shopping around it's the best price too. I Shipped my car twice with them. They were Perfect each time. My car was in perfect condition each time. Drivers are flexible and on time. They require cash but it was not a big deal. I would use them again but I have vowed never to move again.

The driver was on time and in order to deliver the car to our door (the trailer wouldn't fit on the street, he took an Uber back to the truck on his own account. Car arrived without scratches, in working condition, only a little dusty on the outside.

I transported a loved vehicle over 2,000 miles to my new home. Great communication by the Montway team, the price was as quoted and the car arrived at the time expected. I appreciated being able to "pack" the trunk with items to transport.

Driver scratched both exhausts driving up the ramp onto the truck, pointed it out and he did nothing and said nothing, other than that car arrived in one piece. There was another guy standing next to me and saw him scrape exhaust as well.

I used the chat to schedule the transport, which went well. Montway showed up on time to pick up the car, then during drop-off, they were 10 minutes late, but they communicated the whole way through. Both the pick-up and the drop-off went smooth, and the car was in good condition when we got it. The ability to track where the car was on its journey, like a package, would have been helpful though. Montway could track the car and we could call and request an update, but it would be a nice feature if we could go on a webpage to see. Still, I would use Montway again, and I would recommend them to friends.

I've used Montway before and was very satisfied, so I called them again and the customer service was better than the first time. The driver was very cordial and competent too. I got a call before he delivered the car, and I was ready for him. That really worked out well. He pulled up in front of my house, got in, started it up, back it off, and put it in my driveway. We finished the transaction there, and I paid him. I was very satisfied and pleased.

I found Montway online, did a bit of research as far as reviews and experience from other people that have used it, start to finish. It was perfect. I was really impressed how easy it was to transport my car. It was almost 1,000 miles, from Ohio to Florida, and the driver was nice, polite and helpful. He contacted me, let me know when he would be there, and made sure that time worked for me. My experience was so good, I referred Montway to a friend that was also moving, and they used them as well to transport their Mercedes SLK.

Montway is quite a bit cheaper. I always get an estimate from them first. However, the guy that picked it up had no DOT sticker on his truck. The guy I bought it from sent me a picture of the license plate of the guy that hauled it. But he made it there.

Montway was a bit more expensive, but my daughter's friend had used it and I needed somebody reliable that I knew wasn't going to rip me off. Towards the second time, they went down a bit, but then they went up when it came time to pick it up. I wanted to move the transport by one day, but they moved it by three days and charged me an extra $150. I wasn't happy with that. It was also a little stressful from time to time because they couldn’t get ahold of the driver, and I had to get ahold of driver myself. Other than that, the delivery went okay and the car made it safely to my daughter in LA.

It was a great experience with Montway. I put in an inquiry and I immediately got a response. I told them, “I'll get in touch with you when I know for sure what kind of dates we're dealing with.” I talked to them on the phone briefly where they told me that they could do it within a week of being notified. The guy followed up with me until they assigned a driver. The pick-up was awesome. The driver talked to us the day before he picked it up. He talked to us again the day he picked it up. He got here a couple days earlier than they projected.

My daughter was moving across the country so I needed to ship the car. Montway told me how much that would cost and that was fine. The final pricing was exactly what they quoted me. The rep I spoke with answered all my questions and he knew what he was talking about. Everything was good. The transport was from New Jersey to California. The driver picked up the car on a Friday. They actually wanted to pick it up sooner but I said no because that was gonna be too soon. My daughter wouldn't be out there yet. We rescheduled and everything was good.

The person I talked to originally, Dean, and the people who got things arranged were helpful. A problem that customers would experience that I experienced is that Montway gets the car sent to somebody else, and there is not very good coordination or information between the customer and the various people who have the car at different stages of the process. I found that rather upsetting, but I really appreciated that there was a Ukrainian driver who brought the car to where I live in Nevada now. He was really good and very helpful, and it was a quick process for getting the car here, much faster than the shipment of household goods. All in all, I was happy with Montway. I missed that once the arrangements were made, there was no central contact for figuring out what was happening with the car, who was getting it, or when it would be delivered. That's my one big complaint. Everything else was good.

Use Montway! I had two 2021 vehicles going from Michigan to Florida, and everything was fine. The cost was insane, but everywhere is high, so there's nothing one can do about it. The driver was a great guy too.

I've done business with Montway in the past. I also own a small business, which is an auto dealership. I ship about six cars with them and because I never had any issues, I used them again. I set everything up online. I was shipping a car to my son. The first carrier promised to pick up the car by a certain day and they didn’t. At that point, I had to reach out to a representative. I called and said, “Hey, I need you to cancel that and find me a carrier who can pick up this car.” Then Montway assigned another carrier to the job, and he picked up the car as promised. There were no problems from that point.

Montway is faster than everyone else and their price is cheaper. I would highly recommend them.

I found it to be very quick in terms of setting a day, scheduling when they were coming up. I was getting initial information about how it worked and the cost. That was very helpful. The driver was contacting me, letting me know when they would be picking it up and when I was gonna get it. Even delivering my car, I got it earlier than expected. They gave me a call when they were 20 minutes away. We were able to coordinate. It was a very smooth process which I appreciated. I'm very satisfied. If I have to move again in a distance like that, I’ll use Montway again.

The rep was great. But the car was supposed to be picked up July 23rd to be here when I arrived on the 27th and it never got picked up. Also, the guy who was supposed to call me didn't call me back. I ended up calling him twice and he said, “Call the company. I’m just being dispatched.” Eventually, they picked up the car a week after I was here. So I was stuck. I had to rent a car.

Everything was good, and things went accordingly. The timing was great. The driver told me he was gonna be here at 8 o'clock in the morning and he was. It took them a week ‘cause I'm all the way across the other side, from East Coast to West Coast.

The service is clean and neat. Communication is good. The transfer was very good. I appreciate the fast service and I like it.

I bought an antique car and wanted it brought to New Mexico. Once Montway got a driver to pick it up, they came right away. It took a couple of days, which was real good. We communicated on email and it was good too.

My experience for the pickup part of it was good. The guy showed up. They loaded the vehicle in the truck and took it away. I had it shipped to my father’s address and he said it arrived in good shape. It was delivered when expected, and he was notified. Overall, it was very good. The people who I contacted through the chat system online kept me informed, answered my questions, provided me with the quote and set up the shipping.

The car was examined before being loaded onto the truck and the driver was very careful to document everything and ensure that the load was still at the correct height. The dispatcher and the driver were in frequent contact regarding arrival at both pick-up and drop-off. Everything happened within the expected timeframe.

She answered all my questions and was patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. She made me feel good about my choice. The delivery was fast too. The car got there in three days, and the guy, Baja, was also great.

Everything went well with Montway. I will use the service again. We booked then the driver reached out to us in two days. He gave the exact location, which was very close to our house. He was extremely punctual. We were flying to our new location and he coordinated with us when we are going to land. If he would be earlier or later, he would come late. The day we landed was the day he was also going to be in that city. He dropped the car at our hotel at the exact time he stated.

The company that picked up the vehicle called the Friday of when they were picking up the vehicle and they were clear that they'd pick it up. They gave me a range and the latest delivery date when the car would arrive. That part was okay. The one part I wasn't too happy about was that there wasn't any real update on where the car was up until right before it got delivered. Also, they couldn't deliver it to my house. But once I saw the gigantic truck it came in on, it made perfect sense. I had to meet them but it was at a super convenient location. Other than that, the driver was great and the condition of the vehicle was as expected.

I was very happy with Montway and I would use them again. I went online and got my quote, and it was very fair. I was contemplating flying out there and driving the vehicle back, and I would have been within $200 of cost out of my pocket to do it, plus I’m gonna waste 24 hours of driving. A gentleman called me and confirmed the pickup date. When they had the vehicle in their hands, they let me know that as well as when they were getting ready to drop it off at my house. So, they were great. I got the vehicle and there were no damages.

The driver picked it up on a Friday and told me that the car would be delivered on Sunday. He let me know all the time where he was and he arrived earlier than expected. He called on Saturday and said he was there much earlier. It went very smoothly though he could have called me the day before he picked it up because he called me the morning of.

Montway took a day longer than they originally said it was going to be, but they delivered it and I was happy. The driver called me and said he was going to be there in about an hour and gave me a specific time. We drove down there. He walked the vehicle, and he documented it all the way around, so that he could put his report in that nothing had happened to the car. He gave me the keys, and we were done. I'd recommend Montway.

The rep with Montway was very detailed and knowledgeable. He gave us a good idea of what to expect. The pricing was also better than the other company. The driver picked the car up at a Target parking lot because our street was too small. We watched him load up the car. He was super nice. He sent us texts throughout his trip to let us know where he was. He helped us arrange for the drop-off because my realtor was the one who met him in Dallas. He was helpful coordinating that for us. He dropped it off right on our driveway. It was quick. There’s a small scuff on one of the handles of the car that wasn’t there before, but that’s it.

The actual transport of the car was good and successful. The lead up to it not so much. The website says one needs only a week in advance for pickup. I gave a week but got no feedback on when the driver would pick up. We got close to our absolute deadline with no pickup. We then had to pay a lot more for a "guaranteed" pickup date. After that things went OK.

The Carrier that was assigned to pick up our car in Southern CA and deliver to Northern CA did a great job. He was prompt, professional, kept in touch and did the job properly. Couldn’t ask for more. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed. I wasn’t aware Montway uses contractors but ours was apparently well vetted.

I used Montway the first time eight weeks ago and it couldn't have been any better. The car went from Tennessee to Florida and the delivery was within 24 hours. I can't speak highly enough about my first driver. He was friendly, just a beautiful human. Also, I was very pleased with the price. The second time I used Montway, the exact same car was picked up and it was on-time. The delivery could have been yesterday, but I drove back. So, I was behind. The delivery would have been 24 hours, again, which is phenomenal and I asked if there was any way they could bring it to me this morning. And the driver did. There was no extra fee and he was on time. And again, a beautiful person. I couldn’t be any more pleased with Montway.

Montway is great. They are not the least expensive or the most expensive. It was more expensive than most. But others did not have the communication. They did not have the guarantees. I didn't have the confidence in what they were going ahead and offering me. With Montway, their communication is clear. They went ahead and set me up with a guy who was great. He showed up on time where he was supposed to. We communicated when he was going across country, and I was able to pick up the car with no problem. They could have washed the car before I got it but I guess that’s too much to ask.

Montway's ratings were really good and the price was competitive. Their reps reach out to you, get information about the car, and they're pretty thorough. They're asking, “Were there any modifications to the car?” which there were. So, they really made sure that by the time that truck showed up, that the right truck was gonna be there for the size of the vehicle that I was shipping. So, there was a lot of verification that the purchase was gonna be a successful and smooth one, which was nice. So, just confirmed that.

There was a little difficulty with pick up because we were in a newly built neighborhood with hills, but they were prompt and timely. They did a thorough job of documenting the car, its exterior state and contents of the car. They had great communication when there was a small delay and the car arrived ontime. We were not at the location yet, but workers let them in and he parked it in the garage for us since we had items in it. The price was very comparable and it all went well for a long cross-country transport.

Transported a truck from Wichita Kansas to Slidell Louisiana. The service was rapid and competent. The delivery was made on time, at a convenient time for the recipient of the truck. The cost was reasonable. I would use the service again if needed. Thank you for your help.

The dispatcher kept me informed as to when and time of my vehicle would arrive from Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale. The driver was professional and also kept me informed. I cleaned my car thoroughly - inside and out - before I allowed my car to be in possession of Montway Auto Transport, and they gave me back a dirty, nasty vehicle and kind of laughed about it. Montway Auto Transport is an auto broker. They find auto carriers to transport your car across country. They had 5-star ratings. So, I thought they would be a great company. The customer service representatives are very professional. They are transparent on the pricing, and their agents arrived to pick my car up at the time they specified. I was elated with the service UNTIL SAMANTHA delivered my car.

Every time I come to Florida, I'll call Montway to transport my car. I don't use anyone but them. I transported two cars back and forth from New York to Florida about four times. I even stopped counting because I just use it. They're very efficient. Someone will call and set up a time, and I will fill out the application. The drivers update me every step of the way, letting me know the estimated time when they would be there. I've never had a problem with my car. My car was perfectly safe, no damage and everything was intact, and it was seamless. Montway's prices are competitive. It's a little bit less. The third time I was going to use it, I tried looking at other sites and those prices were way higher. So I went back to Montway.

Everything was done over the phone and it was great. The prices with Montway were good and where it should be. The driver got out here quick. It was a couple of days shorter than I was expecting and there were no problems. He gave me a heads up a few hours before, let me know where he was at and when he was gonna be here. The vehicle was pristine when it arrived.

Picked up on time and delivered on time as promised. Easy to reach for any questions I had about dates of pickup and delivery. The car had no damage except had to be washed (not included;). Would use again if ever needed. Although car arrived before us due to having lost a day in travel (tired driving). Driver of delivery truck worked with my realtor to accept Venmo payment.

If the driver was delayed, he kept me informed that he was delayed a little bit, not a lot. So I knew what was going on. Everything that they said they would do, they did it on time. Also, I was transporting two cars and whatever Montway quoted me for that remained as is, so nothing was surprising at the end. My experience with Montway was a little dicey in the beginning but the end was very good. Their reps told me what was gonna happen and it didn't happen the way they said it would. I told people to come in on a Thursday morning and they showed up on a Wednesday night without telling me they were coming. But I worked it all out and everything got done. The driver was in communication with me very well and he was very good at what he did. It didn't take him very long to get here and it all worked out fine.

He called me, and he communicated very precisely about what time he was coming. He came at that time, and he delivered a little early. That was good. I was really very satisfied. Go for them. They're very professional, and I like the way they handled things.

I was very happy with the experience. The quote they provided seemed reasonable and the driver was a very delightful person. We had to meet a little bit off-site because of the size of his vehicle and it went beautifully.

When I contacted them, they seemed quite reasonable compared to some prices I had gotten on a previous trip and they answered questions right away. Not one time did I ever have difficulty getting ahold of someone or at least getting attention to whatever my question was. The transport took 10 days. The driver contacted me a day before he got here. He already had the car unloaded from his truck when I met with him. It was wonderful.

We had Montway move a 1957 vehicle from New York to where we live in Virginia. The pickup was in Sherburne, New York, and the drop-off was in Bridgewater, Virginia, and it took them a day to get it picked up and delivered. When the guy got to Virginia, he gave us a call. He wanted to know what time he could drop the vehicle off. We arranged a time at 6 o'clock in the morning. He showed up pretty much right on time and pulled up in front of the house. I asked him if he could drop it off in the back. He said yes. We moved his trailer around back. He unloaded and everything went fine.

Setting everything up was easy and there were no complexities. I chatted with some of the representatives and they were straightforward. There was no bargaining. They gave me the amount and I paid. Somebody then came at the correct time and collected the car in Washington State. The driver and the delivery were what I was looking for. The only thing was we didn't have any communication in between. But there was communication when they were arriving. They called and informed us. On the whole, things were fine. At least, they reached us on the agreed date and the car was good when it arrived in Texas.

I contacted Montway through the website and I got into a chat session with a fellow there. I was pretty pleased with the transaction. They picked up the vehicle in North Ridgeville, Ohio and it was in Gaysville, Vermont the next day at 4:30. I had a relative meet them at the drop-off point and then I got a call saying that it was all done. It was within 15 minutes it took to drop it off and they took pictures to make sure of everything and it all appeared fine.

The Montway rep explained the process step-by-step and everything went exactly like they said it would. You worry, especially when it’s traveling that far. But it was flawless. The driver said the delivery would take a couple of days. And in two and a half days, that guy got it there. I live in a rural area up in the mountains in Linden, Virginia. So, I met the driver down at the bottom of the mountain, near this little warehouse store that we have here in our area. He was polite and great, and I’m 150% pleased.

My friend used Montway a couple of times and recommended them when I needed to get my car across the country. Everything was direct and quick. Customer service answered the emails or phone calls right away. From pick-up in Las Vegas to the delivery in Atlanta, that took five days. The driver was great. I asked him to put my car in a garage and he did that. He then left the keys behind. It was absolutely wonderful from the customer service and customer care and anything we needed. I was very satisfied and I definitely recommend Montway.

The pick-up location was on a narrow street. So, I was able to get the car over to another couple of blocks away, and then it was a much more conducive transport pick-up area. And even on the drop-off, I was running late, so the driver came the next day instead. So, they were very flexible. The cost was what it was. It was not too high nor too low. It was a good experience with Montway. Their service lived up to what I expected and everything went well.

In the beginning, my experience with Montway was smooth. During the paying stage, there were two options. One can pay or had to deposit it and when the driver arrives, the rest of the balance would need to be paid in cash. I did the second option where I paid in full when I reserved the transportation service. But there was a miscommunication between the accounting department or the reservation department. They charged me again. Finally, they gave me that credit to my credit card so the problem was solved. That took two or three days. The service was fine but there was a two-week delay. The promised date was on June 25 but they delivered the car right after Independence Day, which was the beginning of July. Montway said they needed to find a driver and my mom was waiting for the car. I understand a couple of days of delay but two to three weeks is a little too much.

Montway had the most recognition out of the companies I looked at and they seem to have more reputable reviews than the others. The total transport took five to six days. It was from Minnesota to Los Angeles. There was communication on the day prior and the day of. We met at a unique place. The driver tried to be as accommodating as possible, which was very much respected. He gave me an update when he was a day out and again on the day of the drop-off. He let me know that he was going to be really close to my area. I told him to let me know where he needed me to go. He dropped off the car in a area that was easy for him to turn around because I live in a small neighborhood, just a few minutes away. My wife and I got the car and it was the same as when I dropped it off. Montway is a company that you should consider.

I was on a tight schedule and the reps were able to work around that. The driver was great. He called me, let me know he was on his way and I met him outside. Everything worked out nice. Whatever the bill that I was quoted was what I paid. I had no problems with that either. I needed somebody to work with me. Montway had to have it down there at a certain time and they were able to get it down there so that was great.

The driver was a very good, nice person. The service was really, really awesome. The transport took hardly four days. It was great. I liked it. I got the best deal.

Description of complaint: I contacted Montway last week to help transport my car from OH to CA based on their 4.7 rating and 5 star reviews on Consumer Affairs. Customer service were very nice initially and assured me that if I sign for their guaranteed pick up service this will ensure working with the best carrier to transport my car to CA. I did although this was their highest charge but I wanted to make sure I have no issues. The guaranteed pick up date to transport my car was yesterday Aug 2nd and I never received any confirmation of a carrier on Aug 1st so I phoned early on Aug 2nd and they said that they have a carrier and they will send me the carrier and driver info shortly and that the driver will phone at least 2 hours before pick up to coordinate with me.

I liked the customer satisfaction with Montway and it seemed like they're a very good company. They've been around a long time. Setting up the transport was quite simple. The total pickup and drop-off was two days and it was from California to Arizona. I got to know the driver at the pickup pretty well and he knew what he was doing. At the drop-off, it was the same driver and again, he knew what he was doing. He didn't drive the car right in front of the home. But he was around the corner on the main street so he could unload the transport and just drove my car a block to my home. The car was in the same condition as it was when it left.

Montway was very transparent with the process of shipping a car. I used them to transport my car from Georgia to Virginia and their communication was very efficient. The driver was texting me throughout the process and I was very happy with how it worked out.

I called Montway and everything was great, even with the guy who delivered the car. The final pricing was right on. It was exactly what I was quoted. I would entertain using Montway again.

I chatted online with a Montway agent who told me that Montway was the number one company and that pretty much, they were pretty sure they'd be able to get a driver and move the car. So, I switched over. Shortly after I did that, I was hooked up with a driver. So, it was pretty quick. I would totally recommend the company.

The representative was very helpful and provided required information. I was there at the end location for the delivery and the driver asked me about the signing of the delivery there. The car's condition is very good.

The driver was okay. He couldn't really speak much English but he knew what we were saying. He got his boss on the phone to verify and make sure everything was good. It was easy. Also, there was no difference in the final pricing. If I need anything else transported, I'm gonna go straight to Montway.

Montway treated me pretty well. They were very professional and as a matter of fact, they were pretty darn quick. Their equipment was up to date. The driver called me, previous to delivery, at 11:30 at night and said, “Hey I’m loading up right now. I'll be there at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.” He was. I was really surprised by that. I would highly recommend him to get somebody’s car transported or picked up and delivered. The only thing is I had a hard time understanding the reps, but we worked through it. I’d use them again. The quote was spot-on. They told me it was 995. I had to give a deposit on that, which is fine. Then the balance was due in cash when I picked the car up. I could have done a credit card, but it would have had to have been approved before the driver could have dropped the car. They said cash would be the easiest way. Once they get the cash, the driver emailed me a receipt, and that was it.

I've used Montway three times now and all the experience were really good. I was getting one car painted so they did a special type of drop-off. Then, another car they delivered when I was out of state. It was a stick, which my son couldn't drive stick, and they went the extra mile, put it in the garage, and made sure everything was really good. The last time I used them was two weeks ago and it was quick. They were here within two days. Also, the communication was great, from Montway to the drivers. I've been lucky enough that I had three really good drivers and they communicate well.

Everything with Montway went very smoothly. Everything that they told me was what happened. They were good with the car. The car got out there with no issues and damage. They ended up picking the car up a little before they said they were going to, which was good. Then, the transport only took seven days. The overall experience was great. If I had to do it again, I would use Montway again.

The move from one representative to the driver is a jump that could be an easier handover. Although the driver was nice, I'm sure that that's not always the case. He was helpful, but it's true that I didn't know when I was supposed to contact him. Because there is always a delay, that whenever they pick up your car, they don't tell you when it's going to arrive, depending on the driver’s route. So if somehow, that could be known in advance by the guys, they could communicate that. So, I'm not trying to wait someone that is driving, and he doesn't know who I am. Because there is a part of his trip that he doesn't care about anything until he arrives really to the destination where he tries to contact the driver. So that part could be covered by the agent that actually is coordinating the pickup. Other than that, I was satisfied with Montway's service.

The transport from Orlando to New Brunswick, New Jersey took four days. Montway responded pretty quickly. It took a couple of days to pick up and a couple of days to transport. The driver called up in advance and the car was delivered okay. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
