Montway Auto Transport Reviews

I needed to transport my Viper from Arizona to where I live. Montway had good reviews and I liked how quickly they could do the job. Customer service was very helpful and explained everything to me. They picked up the Viper the next morning after I scheduled it and it was delivered the same day. It was perfect when it arrived. The final cost didn't change much.

Montway came out to be the less expensive, and everything with their reps was great. The car arrived ahead of time. The driver was excellent and kept us notified of any changes. There were no changes but he kept us updated on where he was at what point. So, it was good.

We used Montway to move our vehicle from Texas to Florida and that took about three days. This is our second move with Montway and this time was just as smooth as the first time. It was super easy. Communication was excellent via phone and via their website, which is the easiest way to get the estimate. From the chats, the phone calls, and the driver, everything was perfect. The vehicle was delivered to my son and he said the driver was super nice and very courteous.

Everything came out with no issues, and I received the car on time. Montway was very accurate with everything too. I'm really happy the service.

Montway's pricing worked. The driver did a fine job picking the vehicle up and updating me on the way. I received a notification that it was delivered.

Montway picked the car up and delivered same day. The guy showed up when he was supposed to. Everything was fine, except that I'm 80 and my wife's 70, and we had to push the cars. It would have helped if he had a helper because my wife and I had to help. Other than that, I was satisfied. The quote and final price were the same. If it had been different, I wouldn't have paid more.

I spoke to multiple representatives, and all of them were courteous, professional and knew what they were talking about. The communication with the driver was good too. He gave me a window of expected time of arrival, and he was on the dot. As a matter of fact, he even went out of his way to find a more convenient location for the pickup. The delivery went really smoothly, and the driver got here five days in advance as well. It worked out fine, because I got here early. I was anticipating to be without my car for a week, but I was only without my car for two days. It came dirty, but it was expected because it's gone through multiple states. It's also not any different right now. My car is still dirty because of the snow. Overall, my experience with Montway was very fast and friendly, and if I were to move back to Florida, I’d use them again.

Montway was the most reliable that I could find online. Everything went perfect as planned. I was notified within less than a day that they headed out. The driver didn't speak English that well, but we got through it so we could understand each other.

I've used Montway twice, once to transport an inoperational race car from California to Kansas. I got a quote from them first, and it was high, so I put them to the side and went with another company that ended up scamming us. We ended up going with them and that worked out pretty well. The second time, I needed to ship a motorcycle and that hasn't been as great. We're still waiting on the delivery. The timing and communication could be improved. Also, the shipping company they subcontracted with is a little questionable. With the loading techniques they used for the motorcycle, I don't know if it's gonna arrive with damage. Also, the original delivery date was the 21st but they extended it till the 28th. They didn't communicate what the extension was for with me. I checked the tracker and I saw they haven't left Texas after a week. But they finally just got to Arizona yesterday and started their long haul.

I looked at half a dozen companies and ended up with Montway. It started with the pricing and I was very impressed with the customer service. We asked them not to pick up the car for a few days because we were traveling. From when they actually picked up the car to drop-off, that took only about three days. I was extremely happy. I move a lot of vehicles. I do some buying and selling and I probably do four shippings a year at least. This was the first time I used Montway and I will definitely use them again.

I have a niece in the Buffalo, New York area who always had an interest in automobiles and is a very successful business person. We have a vintage vehicle that remains capable of being driven but for any restoration that's going to take place, my niece will facilitate that. We needed a transfer service and Montway was recommended by a friend of mine, who is very experienced with both employing transportation companies and moving vehicles on his own.

Communicating with them was super simple and easy. They turned around very quickly for us to get our truck from Florida to New York. The initial driver couldn't fit the truck on the truck, so it took two or three extra days. But by the end of the week, it was done. We're living on base and we had to meet him off of base at a Walmart parking lot. And the coordinator that he was working with let us know that he would be there within an hour. He unloaded the truck and away we went. Montway's quote was definitely higher than other places that I was looking at. But it didn't change from the time I was quoted to the time of delivery. We plan on using them again for our next move.

I was extremely happy. There was some back and forth on the scheduling, but that was due to me more changing things around. The driver was Chris. He has a very fancy trailer. He was outstanding. I would not lose that guy.

The only problem I had was with Montway's automated customer service. It's hard to get what you're looking for. Because the automated voice is going to come on and ask you a question, you wait, but they don't understand. Other than that, the driver was great. He brought the car right to my house.

I set things up online, and it was really simple. The pickup was in Mesa, Arizona, and the drop off was Cary, North Carolina. They had two cars in the carrier, and they just took out my car. It was quick and easy, and my car was just how it was when they picked it up. I was fine with the quote too. It was accurate in the sense that it didn't change. I would tell people I'd definitely use Montway again.

My daughter used Montway and had a great experience with them. As did I. They were efficient, quick, and very easy to communicate with. The reps I worked with were both very good. They were very easy to contact, and if I had a question, I'd text them and get an immediate response. I will use them again. The transport was from the East Coast to the West Coast, and the driver was very good. He was another one I tried to text and he would get back to me right away. I met him right down the street, and the car was fine.

They were immediately responsive and laid out what the price was going to be. It was great customer service from the very start. The driver was great. He wasn't very talkative but he was polite, professional, and quick. Montway was awesome and I will always use them.

I called Montway and the person I spoke with was very nice and understanding of my circumstances. The prices were very reasonable too. The delivery was perfect. The driver dropped off my car and gave me the keys. I've told a few of my friends to use Montway.

I used Montway when I moved up from Florida to Berlin, Wisconsin. I called the guy and I liked how I was treated. We kept having delays because I was trying to close on my house. They were very pro helping me in any way they could. They transported the cars up and I was very pleased with the whole situation. The transport took a couple of extra days because the driver broke down in Georgia.

The driver gave me a two-week timeframe for a door-to-door delivery from Tucson, Arizona to Providence, Rhode Island. He was there in seven days. He did a great job. I appreciate it.

It was a little bit slow to get something booked at the time that I liked. But I called multiple times and I finally got somebody that helped me out. Everything from the pickup to the delivery was perfect. The driver didn't necessarily communicate the whole way through but he communicated when he was going to arrive and gave me enough time to prepare. The car was in great condition when it arrived.

Montway was absolutely amazing and the reps were great from start to finish. The drivers picked up quickly from Thousand Oaks, California and the car got here in Jersey even sooner than we thought. They couldn't deliver it to where we wanted because they needed a lot of room to turn and maneuver so my other daughter and I met them. We knew it was coming on Friday. So I drove up from where I am, an hour away. I would recommend them highly.

The third-party vendor they contracted with was great. Everything about the service was excellent. They were very receptive and returned any calls. The delivery itself was just after Hurricane Ian and they were 12 hours behind on getting the car to where it needed to go but they made arrangements with the person who was picking it up.

I was choosing between Montway and another company. I went with Montway because I liked the fact that they provided a cash option for it to be a little less. The reviews and the company's reputation made me feel more comfortable. It was the first time I was doing something like that and it made me feel like Montway was more legitimate. I did everything online. There were a few times that I needed assistance because things got changed around a bit for the pickup date. I had to put the transport on hold and do all that. I did all that via chat. Customer service was responsive and very helpful. They were quick to fix my problem and quick to take it off of hold.

I was very pleased with Montway’s service. They did exactly what I needed them to and were on time. It was exactly how much they said and they were very competitive in their rate. The communication was great. The driver originally was going to deliver it to where we were staying, which was an Airbnb in a downtown area, but his truck was too heavy to get down these little bitty streets. He called and asked if he could meet us. He suggested a spot and offered that if we needed an Uber, he would pay for it. But we have another car so we just hopped in and went over to where he was. But that was totally not his fault. It was just the nature of where we were staying. Montway delivered our car perfectly. It was exactly the same as it was when we left it.

The whole process with Montway didn’t take very long and the transition was very smooth. The only thing I didn’t like at first was when the guy got here, he wanted us to meet him at some complex over on Haggerty and I didn't know where it was. So, my daughter and I had to get in my car and find out where we were gonna meet him so we wouldn't be looking for it when he got there. We found it with no problem. It was a couple of blocks over so, we were okay with that because the driver was driving a big rig.

Everything went very well. The driver that they used for this move stood up to their reputation of being very good. He texted and also called. The final price was right on the dollar figure they quoted.

There was a mix of phone calls and online inquiries that had two dispatchers trying to give me some service at the same time. Once we got it narrowed down to one person, everything was great. I paid exactly what was quoted and the vehicle was delivered as promised. I knew about a window of time when the driver would be there, and he was there. They brought it right to the office where it was being delivered. Montway was easy and convenient. They provided quality service.

There was an immediate response from Montway. They were very kind. They always said, “Here's my number. Call me directly.” So it was really good. The driver was very nice and professional. There was a little miscommunication picking up the one car. They said, “Oh, sorry. We're not getting to you because we're running behind.” I was all right with that. They were really nice about it, which is very important. They were informative and very communicative.

I was very pleased with them. They were able to do the move on my timetable and do it quick within a short delivery period. Customer service was very good. When I called, they returned the call. They told me they'd have my vehicle here within three days. It took them two and the service was very professional. They brought it right to my door.

The guy who transported my exact vehicle was very kind and made me feel very reassured throughout the process. The vehicle was picked up in Lakewood, California and dropped off in Franklin, Tennessee and it happened in less than a week.

It was a comfortable experience with Montway. The car was dropped as planned. There were no changes with the car or any damages. It was clean.

It was excellent with Montway. The car got to Orlando, Florida from Massachusetts on time and the cost was exactly what they said.

I liked Montway's response and guarantee of the delivery. The rep was wonderful. Because I was so worried. “Can he deliver it on time?” But he said, “No problems.” Our little Hercules arrived just fine. The driver even said he got lots of compliments when he had to stop.

They moved cars around and put my car on the top back, which was the best place. They took their time and were very thorough. Also, I didn't want to make them come all the way to the house. I shipped a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage for around 650 miles through Montway and they were very good. I talked to the people on the phone and they were nice. Then, the driver was wonderful. When he came and picked up the car, he was very careful and pleasant. He made sure he had everything right when he put the car on the truck and when he arrived in New Jersey, everything was great there too. I was also happy with the cost of their service.

Montway was very easy to work with. I transported a vehicle several years ago to Florida, and it was not as easy as it was this time. I sold a vehicle back to someone in Massachusetts, and I'm in Virginia. And I had to transport it back. It went very smoothly.

I met him out on the four-lane highway. He delivered the car on another four-lane access road. It was easy to get the car from there.

My husband got a new job in Tulsa and we had to ship a car over. It was an SUV, and the driver who came to pick it up was very professional and friendly. I have a gated community, so we made arrangements where I met him at the front. I drove him back to my house, he dropped me off, then he took the car back to the front of the gate because the rig wouldn't go through. We chatted and he was just as nice as could be and gave me peace of mind about leaving my vehicle with Montway.

The reps gave me a quote. I told them that I wanted to ship my car within that timeframe that I decided previously, and they were okay with it. We had to pay half of the amount. And when the cars were shipped to our home in Tampa, we gave the other half. The cars were shipped on a Friday late afternoon. I wanted to find out what time they were coming. I called Montway. And they said they were running late because of the hurricane that we had in September. And they said they would reach the next day. It was the same day that I was flying to Tampa with the rest of the family. The cars were picked up by this gentleman who worked for the parent company. And we received the cars on Tuesday. We are satisfied.

Montway did very good service. I would use them again. The driver was very informational and very good. They were there when they said they were going to be there.

Had my car shipped from AZ to OH on a cross country move. The service was great. Everyone was kind. The guy who initially took my call did mislead me about paying cash upon pickup and it charged my card a large amount so just double check. Other than that the transport itself from the company in Casa Grande was great!

They picked up the vehicle on a Tuesday and delivered it to St. George, Utah on Sunday. It was sooner than I thought and the vehicle was in great condition. No scratches or dents. I watched them take it off the truck as well. The driver inspected it, I paid him, and he left.

My experience with Montway was excellent. The car was delivered, and there were no issues. The driver was very courteous, kept on calling, and met us at a truck stop right out on the east side of Holland. I'm pretty happy with the service. They're very timely, too, so appreciate the rapid response. The cost was very reasonable, too.

The communication was good. Montway emailed me immediately with a list of who was coming to get my car, at what time, then they contacted my mother and said, “We'll be there at a certain time.” The car was at my parent’s house, and Montway had it picked up, then it was in Florida within 43 hours. It was very smooth. I was very happy ‘cause it's a car that's 20 years old, and I was nervous about it being shipped. The driver took pictures ahead of time and covered it. It was anchored down nicely too. He then came here, took more pictures of it, looked over it, and it was perfect. All quotes stayed the same as well. I paid ahead in one payment because we wanted the airline points.

Montway chased after me a fair amount when I first inquired a year ago. They could have cut that in half and I would have had an equally good opinion. But recently, everything went together seamlessly. I was very much interested in the logistics etc, because I had to take a ferry over and meet somebody in the ferry area. It wasn't a normal "come by my house and get my car". But Montway was perfect. I was very pleased with the guy who picked the car up to delivery. He was thorough. This is the driver that they use. And he does this and has a special purpose vehicle for it.

The contractor did a great job. They didn't communicate all that great, so that was last minute, but when I contacted Montway, they were quick to help me resolve it. They answered quickly. I had a good experience even though there was a bit of a language barrier with the guy picking up the car. My father-in-law doesn't speak Spanish, so he called me a little stressed out, because he didn't know if they were legitimate. I had to call the people, speak to them in Spanish and explain what was going on. Aside from that, vetting up the contractors and making sure that they know to speak English would be good. If I didn't know how to speak Spanish, then I don't know where we would be to try to communicate that. The transport guys would take a picture of our Jeep on top of their vehicle every step of the way, almost every stop. They were also very communicative when they dropped it off, and again, took pictures of everything.

Montway was good. Their customer service reps were decent. They got things done ahead of time. The driver was kind of efficient in taking photographs to show if anything is damaged. The only thing is the car got dirty but other than that, there was no damage. Everything was good. They got there on time and the price was really good.

Shipping my almost brand-new car from FL to CA was a bit nerve-wracking for me, but everything went very smoothly. The car was picked up on the date I designated, and delivered when promised. I was very happy with the service!

Everything with Montway went smoothly. The transport was a little messed up just because it was right in the middle of the hurricane that came through. So, everything got delayed but it was nobody’s fault. They picked the car up in Miami and dropped it off just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. It took three days. The driver called me the day ahead, gave me an estimated time, and then called me again once he was an hour out so we could meet up. I knew he was gonna have an 18-wheeler. I'm out of the country, and it was kinda constricted. So, I met him at a business parking lot. That way, he could get in and out easily. I gave him the address where we had linked up, and then he was able to pull in and unload and pull right out.

Montway did a good job. They were quicker to respond. Everything was perfect.

Everything was done very well. 10 out of 10. I met the drivers at a plaza. They had the car home a day early. They were very cordial.

My experience with Montway was great. They brought our vehicle straight to our home, and it was in good condition.

I talked to somebody on the phone and added an extra service of putting stuff in the trunk of the small car. Montway kept me posted by email or text. Things went pretty smoothly as far as all that until the driver showed up a day early. I was flying in late in the day on the 27th so the 28th had to be the earliest anybody was to show up.

This was my first experience transporting a vehicle. The entire process was stress free. A driver was dispatched in a timely manner and my vehicle was on the road in no time. The communication was excellent and I was updated continuously until arrival. The driver was super courteous and careful while unloading. I would highly recommend Montway!

Unfortunately in this day, not a lot of companies follow through with what they promise during the sales process. Montway did 100%! Everything promised was delivered. Great service. Stressful turning your car over to someone else, but the experience was flawless.

Car was scheduled for pickup in Florida during hurricane Fiona. Montway team provided excellent communication throughout the pickup and delivery process. Car arrived in perfect condition and it was clear it was well cared for on its journey. The driver was very flexible in setting final location and time to collect the car.

Driver was all over getting it to me on time. They did!! Big tip !!, no damage, no oil on the car from vehicles above mine. Driver and I spoke many times to coordinate delivery and confirm the gate had his info to drive to my house. All in all a good experience and a fair price. Not the cheapest but the service exceeded my expectations.

The first company driver set up declined to arrive for the pickup (no reason given). The second driver set up did an excellent job delivering my vehicle to Key Biscayne, Florida from Narragansett, Rhode Island. I would consider using Montway again next year.

Had my truck picked up and moved from the dealership in WI and moved to family members house in MO. The whole process was easy and the customer service was very helpful and answered all of my questions. This was the first time I have had a vehicle shipped.

The driver was great. This was during the aftermath of a hurricane and logistics were terrible. But our driver did a wonderful job of meeting me and picking up the car. And the delivery to Ohio was on time and complete.

I am very happy with quick response from Montway Auto Transport. In less than three days my car was on its way to California. The delivery was very efficient, fast but safe from Washington State to California. The price is very reasonable with the service provided.

Pick-up went well but did not receive any paperwork. Driver said it’s all on his phone. At drop-off driver asked for cash. My son explained that he had a certified check and he accepted it. Again, there was no paperwork. Other than that, everything went well.

The price was high but I expected that because of the fuel costs. The only thing was every time I called up, I talked to somebody different.

It went perfectly. My husband met him out there when he was dropping off the car, and my husband said that he was on time. Where he said he was going to be, he was there. So, everything was seamless. Montway is a really top-notch company. Also, they were the cheapest out of every company that I priced. Everybody else was at least $100 to $200 more.

The delivery of my vehicle was amazing. The driver was on time. He consistently followed up with me throughout the process. There were some traffic delays but were very minimal. I couldn't ask for a more pleasurable experience. I have a number of vehicles, from high-end Lamborghinis to low-end cars, and I've never had such a great experience shipping a luxury vehicle. He did the job, he came clean and he met me at the proper location. When I got there, the car was already off the ramp and he sent me a video. I was very impressed with the work Montway did for shipping my vehicle.

He waved us down when he was at the back of the truck stop, so we knew exactly where. He did really well at communicating. The original quote I got was the amount that it ended up being. There were no surprises. It was very fair for getting a car all the way across the country. Our car also got there just as the driver said it would, in good condition.

I would highly recommend them to anybody who's transporting any kind of vehicle. They did a great job, and for a guy who's really particular, that says a lot.

From the beginning when I called Montway, everything was great. I set up the shipment for my vehicle, and everything went well with that. However, two weeks went by and there was no follow-up. I wasn't reaching out to them, and they weren't not responding, then a few days before the shipment, I finally heard something from them. Up until that point, I didn't know who my driver would be and how it would be shipped. Other than that, everything was good.

Tried to send my car via Montway, multiple truckers did not show up when they were supposed to and the process was continually delayed several times past the point I could have my car shipped and accepted at the destination. Every time Montway just kept stringing me along saying they would find someone else. Throughout the process their communication was very poor, they said they would call me back, but didn't and I had to call them back and spent a long time waiting on hold. After more than 5 days they told me that the latest truck driver they dispatched me to had to be cancelled by them because he was demanding more money. I would recommend avoiding Montway. They don't seem to be able to provide the service they are selling.

The individual who picked up the car was highly competent and professional, as well as obviously experienced. He was worried about the trees in my neighborhood and did not want to injure any of them. They found somebody going that way, so they said, "Can you do it now?" I said, "Sure, go ahead. We'll make it work."

I used Montway to send a Mercedes to Arizona for my daughter. They were kind of the best priced, and they could do it at the time we wanted. So, it worked out. Their customer service was good. The driver pulled to the end of my street. I drove down there, they put it on, and that was it. It was really easy. The final cost was $100 more, but it was fine.

The repair shop that works on the car recommended Montway as they've had a good experience with them. I went with them and my experience was a little confusing at times. I called their nationwide number and I got a different person a couple of times. They got the data in the computer and they looked at the deal and it was good. But it might have been better to be able to talk to the same person all the time.

We are in the process of transitioning down to Florida from Minnesota. We have two cars and one we transported down through Montway so that when I come down here to do stuff, I would have a car instead of having to rent one. One consideration for Montway was the cost and that they also allowed us to put stuff into the vehicle to be transported. It was another $75 and I could put an additional 100 pounds in. I could put 200 pounds in the car. It was nice that I could ship some things down in the vehicle at the same time.

Them getting the vehicle and dropping it off was right off smack on schedule. The driver, Adrian, was amazing. He helped us out with where we could meet him. He made it easy for us to meet somewhere close to our house but not come into the neighborhood. He is the best. It took him a couple of days to move it from Tucson, Arizona to Portland, Oregon.

I live downtown and he couldn't deliver to my door so he drove to a place that's very close where could park his truck and deliver my sports car to me. It was very convenient. I chose Montway because it was rated so high on this website. They were a full day late picking up the car. It's now Monday and the car was promised to be delivered Friday (3 days ago). I've called Montway repeatedly for an update. They keep calling the car transport company (Vehicle Transport, Inc.) and no one can reach anyone. Still - to this moment - no one knows where the car is or when it will be delivered. Absolutely horrible service; especially for the price. THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THEM.

They picked the car up in California and delivered it to New York. It was very easy. There was no damage to the car when it was transported. The final price was exactly what it was supposed to be. There was no monkey business. If I needed another car transported, I will use them in a heartbeat.

Transporting my car from Milwaukee to Los Angeles was very easy. It was picked up early on a Wednesday night and was dropped off that following Monday, which was a day early. It worked out well because I got to my destination the day after the car was there, so I was ready to go. The communication was great and the driver had given me a phone number that I could call periodically to make sure that everything was all right. So, I called them on Thursday to make sure that everything was going into place, then I reached out on Sunday to make sure that the drop off was at this location at this time. Then, on the day of delivery, he let me know that he was about an hour out. It was a really good experience and in the event that I need to ship a car again, I would use Montway.

Where I was living in in Maui, I didn't have the reception to download things or the knowledge to take a picture of my car stuff and then get it out to Montway. So, I had a huge hassle having somebody else do it. Then, those guys over there didn't understand what was going on and everything turned confusing. Also, there were some shady things that I felt weird about the drop-off site for the van where they wanted $50 in cash and gave me no receipt to drop my van off. But I've worked it all out and I got my car. Montway's price was right and I'm happy.

The car was really filthy when it got here and we had to have it detailed. Also, the driver's English wasn't that great and he was having difficulty communicating with me. There were two cars and I had to drive one to the garage because he couldn't make it in the complex. Then I went back for the second and he wasn't there, he had taken off with the car. The driver contacted us when he was leaving Raleigh. We met him right by the interstate by our house because there was a flea market there. For him to get down this way, it would have been harder. So we just drove the car up towards that, which was not even half a mile and he loaded it on the truck. He kept in touch with my son the whole way out there. It worked out wonderfully.
