Montway Auto Transport Reviews

I've purchased a lot of cars around the country and used Montway up until this last car I had them move. It's a '36 Ford custom car worth $50,000, and the rep was helpful. However, there was about $13,000 of damage because of the way it was trucked. The transporter didn't take into account the car above the '36 Ford and that rubbed on it all the way down, ruining the custom car. The transport guy didn't even know it happened until we backed the car and it got off the trailer. I was sitting there, and the car is bright viper red and it's stunning. A friend of mine was with me and we started looking at the car.

I was very impressed with the fast service to get my car from NC to California. The driver (Michael) was great and kept me notified all the way. I got my car and I was on my way within the week. I would totally recommend this company. It was easy and smooth sailing all the way.

Pick up went as planned. I was informed exactly where to be. The drop off was also seamless. Particularly liked the man who picked up my car. Very thoughtful and kind. The customer service people were also very helpful. Will use your company again.

Everything they said was spot on and the driver was very interactive, which I really appreciate. He told me exactly what he was gonna do. He walked around my car, inspected it very thoroughly, took his time, and took pictures. He told me approximately when the car would arrive at this location. I explained to him that I probably wouldn't be there that date, but I would have someone there to pick the car up. he kept me informed every step of the way and let me know a day out when the car would approximately arrive.

The experience was very good, easy to set up the transportation for my car shipping from MI to OR, the car was picked up and delivery with my timeline, drivers who picked up the car and delivered the car were polite, the whole process was very smooth.

I'm very pleased with the service and the communications. The delivery was a day earlier than originally scheduled and it went off without a hitch. Also, the driver was excellent. He called me a day before the delivery and gave me an ETA.

I shipped a GMC Canyon with Montway and everything was perfect. I'd give them a good recommendation.

Prompt and courteous estimate and excellent follow up with detailed scheduling and efficient driver communication. Pricing was competitive and timing more than met our needs. The car arrived in good condition, on time, and at the right place. There was timely follow up to make sure that the service was complete and satisfactory.

My transporter was very professional and vehicle arrived at the destination with no issues. I will for be using their services again in the future. Courteous employees. Courteous drivers. Fairly priced. Arrives on time or earlier. Drivers communicate with you so you can prepare for the arrival. Drivers are very helpful with the unloading, too. Montway is the only transporter that I always use. I highly recommend that others consider Montway.

The only reason I didn’t get 5 stars was there was a miscommunication between Montway and the driver (He tried to charge me $50 more than my invoice). Montway was great other than that. They resolved the issue and wasn’t overcharged.

They picked the vehicle from the dealership exactly when they said they would. Delivered the car 1 day earlier than estimated.!!! Excellent customer service and I feel they genuinely care for every vehicle they handle. Driver was extremely careful and made sure it was delivered flawlessly!!

Process was smooth from start to finish. Had car delivered from Houston to Atlanta. All deadlines were met in timely manner. Car was in same condition as when I made purchase. Delivery driver was also adequate. Would definitely recommend to friends in need.

Came in with the best bid, and when the actual transporter bailed at the last minute, pulled in a new driver right away and delivered the car on time. No issues at all. Car had a thorough inspection at pick up and was just as stated at delivery.

Montway was very professional when keeping in contact with me regarding my pick up and drop off times. Their prices were reasonable compared to other companies and they did not disappoint. The driver was patient and kind and the car was transported in the time I was quoted.

Montway thru the transport person, handled my 2021 Corvette safely and without any issues. Will use them again if the need arises. Hauled it from NSB, Florida to Arvada, CO and kept me informed as to its progress and arrival.

We have a friend who lives in Chicago and it gets freezing in Chicago, so he spends the winters out here. He had his car shipped with Montway so he recommended them. He said they were the best ones out there, and he was right. We had the vehicle moved from Kansas and the pickup and delivery were great. The driver was accommodating and went out of his way. The people in the office were helpful and kept in contact all the way. Everybody was super nice and every time I had a question, they were quick to answer. If they didn't know, they got someone else who did know. Montway is a great company. We would use them again or recommend them.

Sometimes, once you get there, the companies change the price. But it was same all the way through with Montway. They were consistent. Also, the pick up and drop off took four days, which was fast. I dropped the car and the driver drove here, and another person dropped the car off. He was a very nice guy. The car was dusty but I washed the car. I looked at about 20 companies and Montway had the best rating. So, I chose them. And it was true. So, I was happy.

Montway always does excellent jobs. We've used their service, so far, twice in the last two years, and they are the best. I used the website to start the process and then I followed up to check on the pick-up date or delivery date. They were very prompt in responding. I had a complex situation. I had to go and get the vehicle. I was also not there when the vehicle was delivered. They helped in both situations. The people who were doing the delivery did a great job of picking it up and delivering it wherever it needed to be.

I called Montway on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 and was told it could be five days before they my car would be transported. But within an hour, I had a phone call and the guy said he could pick it up the next morning. It was in Maryland and he said he was only about an hour from it. So, he picked it up that Friday morning. They said that I would get it on Sunday but on Saturday afternoon, the guy called me and said he's got my Corvette. He was a very nice fella. He said he could bring it straight on to me and unload it, but it was going to be around 11:00 that night before he got here, or he had a car to deliver to Edinburgh and he could deliver it that evening then bring me my car the next day, early afternoon.

The reps with Montway were good. They explained enough and the process was straightforward. I didn't know where the driver was at any point but the delivery was on time. I would use Montway again.

The driver who brought the vehicle here was great. He called me and let me know where he was and about where he'd be the next day. The delivery was on time. It worked perfectly.

Everything went smoothly with Montway. The cost was very affordable. I've shipped a bunch of cars and I was surprised with the quote, initially. I was a bit leery, but the experience was great. The communication was good. The truck showed up when it was supposed to. Even with the ice storms, the driver made sure to get the truck to me safely. It's a complicated truck being a hot rod. The owner gave him a rundown on how to start it and he was able to get it out of the trailer perfectly fine and set up a ton of ramps to get it out without damaging it. He was good at what he was doing. The only thing that was a challenge was there was a little bit of a language barrier. But it was enough to get by. He knew what he was doing enough to have to not talk to me too much about the process of getting the truck out. He handled everything himself and made sure I inspected the car and signed off on the paperwork correctly.

Montway went along with whatever my schedule was. From the time that I called them, they were out two days later and had the car at the final destination in about 22 hours. The driver was good to work with. The only problem that we had was language. He spoke Spanish and we didn't. But besides that, we were able to convey what he needed and what I needed. My cousin did the drop-off for me because we were still in Florida. They called me to let me know that they had arrived then my cousin took over from there and let me know where the car was parked at.

I already had reservations with one or two other companies and they didn't have a driver and left us stranded. I was very upset because they guaranteed me but it didn't work out. I'm so happy that I found Montway because they said they would guarantee it and they would have someone there to transport the vehicle. And they got it done. Also, it was a fair price. The driver and I kept in contact with each other so it was good communication. My daughter wasn’t going to be there and the drivers would just drop the vehicle off. They did, locked it up and put the key in a safe place inside the car. They left the vehicle there and my daughter was able to pick it up when she could. They did what they were supposed to do. I was very happy Montway gave me peace of mind.

The driver was so open, helpful, and prompt and he was fantastic to deal with. For the pickup, I met him at a truck stop here close to work and it was fast and easy. We scheduled a time and he called me when he was 10 minutes out. We walked around the car and the driver took detailed photos of everything. We were in agreement on the condition and off we went. He kept me posted on his progress to the pickup point and he kept my son posted on his progress to the drop-off point. He was perfectly on time on Monday and everything was arranged.

I had two cars that I needed to ship. I moved from Denver to Great Falls, Montana. Six months later, I moved back. I'm in the car business and I called a bunch of different transportation companies. They were way higher. I called Montway and I talked to a guy that was amazing. They took a small deposit of $200 upfront. Within two days, the guy had my car scheduled. I have classic cars. A guy came and he loaded them and took extremely good care of them. I have shipped thousands of cars and by far, Montway was the best.

They had good customer service and there was nothing shady about it that made me hesitate on using them. They got back to us quickly and answered our questions to make us feel comfortable about shipping a vehicle with them. Also, the driver was on time and let us know where he was and when he would arrive. I would use Montway again.

The price was right and the quote was the same as what I paid in the end. The delivery was very smooth and the communication was excellent. The driver contacted us and we arranged the spot that was most convenient for the big truck. The vehicle arrived in perfect condition.

They gave a good quote on the price. I had a quick and easy experience with them. I just paid and waited till my vehicle got there. They gave me a date when they picked it up. I had the family member to be there when he came, picked it up. Couple of days later, guy called me, "Meet me here and I'll drop off your vehicle." I met him and it went fine. Everything was good. Montway was very cost-effective and they were really easy to deal with on the phone. The movers were very communicative. I got a call the day before, the morning of, and within the hour. Montway was very flexible with the timeline which was great. Using them was a great experience.

When I talked to their reps, they were all very helpful and nice. The price seemed to be in line too. The driver was very good. He did his job, got in and got out quickly. It was in Minnesota during bad weather.

My experience with Montway went very smoothly. The guy that came to pick the vehicle up was very good. He came in a snowstorm. The car had summer tires on it, so it was hard to maneuver it. But he did a good job and got it on there. On the delivery side, I had another person pick it up. He worked with her and drove the car where she needed it. He was great too.

When I called with a question, the reps at Montway were very professional, polite and got the question resolved for me. The driver was friendly and placed the car exactly where we needed it placed. I was happy with it. Montway is a good company to use if you need your car transported.

I was very happy with what Montway did. They got things taken care of. Everything went as planned. They picked the vehicle up when they were supposed to and showed proper identification. I got information on the insurance before they showed up. They delivered when they said they were going to deliver. There was some tough weather but they still got it in here in good shape. The guy had a good ability to operate everything that he had. All was well.

Montway did a fantastic job. Their business model is based on the driver picking up the vehicle. You get an email saying it’s been rescheduled. But if they have issues with the driver picking it up, it gets rescheduled maybe a couple of times. I got rescheduled one time, but it wasn't bad. I gave them a time frame and they were able to meet it. I had a direct communication with the driver. The driver gave us his cell phone number and we kept track of the vehicle the entire way. Compared to other vehicles I've shipped around, Montway’s quote was slightly higher. But it was within reason. I've already turned a few people on to them. So, it was a good service.

I restore old trucks so I'm always buying stuff in other states or if I sell it to somebody, I usually recommend Montway to other people to use if they're looking for a transport. The customer service reps were good. I was using the same guy for a while and then he didn’t work there anymore. It doesn't seem like it makes a big difference. Sometimes I'll just book the transport online but it’s hard because they don't list the right amount of vehicles to make that work. Sometimes we'll talk in person and sometimes, we'll chat online.

Everything was excellent in my experience with Montway. The guy picked the vehicle up right on time in the middle of a storm. He didn't use that as an excuse. He was one day late getting here. He explained that his turbo charger went out on his truck. I thought one day late was on time. I was very impressed with everything about him. I would definitely use them again. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing that kind of service.

The quality of service is good because, when I got my car, everything is the same. I'm satisfied.

Montway was very efficient in terms of the person handling the scheduling. The coordination was very well done. They were price-competitive and very prompt in returning my calls. We just rescheduled with them shipping another car. They contract out, but the driver who did the original transport was excellent. He was very accommodating in terms of the flexibility.

I liked Montway's price. I looked up other places and it was right on par with everybody else. I thought it was really expensive at first because it was like 1,300, but then I looked up what it would have cost if I had booked earlier, and it wasn't dramatically different. Also, it was nice to be able to chat with someone. Then I read the reviews because I was worried they would be fake, and the reviews were good. The reps were really helpful, too.

Montway was able to give me a driver faster than the other provider I was working with. Also, they were helpful and they gave me the information I needed. The transport was pretty much on schedule. The driver came into some bad weather and snow in Lake Tahoe, but that was to be expected. He stayed in touch with me and gave me the updates that I was looking for. It was a good experience and a good quality of service for the cost.

Setting up the transport was fairly easy to do. I just chatted online. A rep named Alex give me his number and I texted and called him. He was very accommodating. We had a bit of a hiccup with the first driver, but Montway was able to get another driver almost right away. So, it worked out in the end. I'd definitely use Montway again. That was a very inexpensive transfer and the car was very well taken care of.

The rep I spoke with, Mel, was awesome. I explained my situation and he told me how much the move should cost. He said he would call me back with a firm price once they get it all in. He took all the stress and anxiety out of the situation. He was funny and has a good personality. It was a good thing for me that he laughed at my jokes. I asked him, “Who's your number one competitor? And why should I pick you over them?” He said that they come up against Sherpa a lot if I wanted to call them up and ask for a price. I called Sherpa and five minutes into the phone call with them, I'm like, "This is another headache waiting to happen.”

Montway found me a person to ship my car within half an hour of signing them on. They came up with a super fantastic rig. They were very timely. They delivered my car in a professional manner all the way to remote Colorado. I have the driver's cellphone numbers and reached out to them because I had someone there ahead of me meeting them. They not only updated me on their whereabouts but updated the person I had too. The vehicle came in perfect condition and the communication and handoff were great. The price was as quoted. I'm very happy with the service and I would use it again.

I was updated throughout the entire process. I sent the driver all the documents that he needed to pick up. He communicated with me once he received the order. And once he picked up the vehicle, he sent me pictures. So, everything was good. Got all the paperwork that was needed. And he got on the road and let me know throughout his trip how far he was, and the ETA.

The reps were good and very informative. The driver was A-plus because he called me and said when he picked it up, he would be out here in about a week. He got here in about four days. He stayed in communication with me. Everything was what it was when we set it all up. Other than the price, I would recommend Montway as far as their expertise. It was good.

Montway got back to me quickly and everything came together within a couple days. They got the vehicle in before they estimated, which was great.

The process was quick. They came, picked up the car in New York, and within three days, it was in California. It was a great overall experience.

My experience with them was really good from the intake on the call to the follow-up. They were always following up which was really good. I was living in Saint Paul at the time and the weather is really difficult there. They coordinated things very well even though there were massive snowstorms coming in and out. The drivers had good communication. They kept me abreast so I knew where they were.

When I moved, I had my Jeep Renegade transported from Memphis to Orlando thru Montway. Their reps were quick at answering the phone and were very professional. The delivery was very professional, too. They told me when it was going to get here, then they called me before it got delivered. When I welcomed the car here, they had uniforms and they took a picture of the car just to make sure everything was delivered properly. The car was in very good condition when it arrived and the price I paid was reasonable. I would use Montway again and refer them to anybody who wants the service.

Montway's reps were responsive and the quote they gave me was accurate. During the delivery, the driver was on time and we met where he wanted to meet. He was professional and and quick. I'd recommend them.

I was using Montway to ship my car for school. They were great. I filled out a form online and then they called pretty shortly after that. They set me up with the carrier. The payment was all handled online to set that up. Then when I picked up the car, the rest of it was in cash. They were great at facilitating that communication with the dispatcher. The pickup and delivery went really easily. I wasn't there for the pickup, but I heard from my family that it was easy. Then I was there for the delivery, and it was about as easy as can be. It would be cool if there was a way to track where the car was while it was being delivered. Apart from that, it was perfect. The cost was what I expected. It was good. I would recommend Montway. I will probably use them again myself.

My husband had already dealt with Montway and I asked him if he could call and set up the transport. From there, I was contacted and the rep asked a couple of days and times that would work best for my schedule. They would try to accommodate as best as possible. It so happened around that time that there was a big storm occurring in California. The day that I flew out of San Francisco was the day that the drivers were gonna pick up the vehicle. But it went smoothly. I had a family member drop it off. Even though we were a couple of days behind on pick-up, the vehicle still arrived on the day that they said it would. So, I was happy about that. Also, I was quoted $1,700 and the price did not change. It was as quoted.

Montway seem to be highly rated. I googled all the transport and they seem to be highly rated on Google. They seem to have, in some cases, the best price. I had transported an F-150 truck. I had a couple of issues because it was around Christmas and New Year's, but I expected there to be some issues with some of the carriers, and the location not being open at the proper times. Overall, I was happy with them. They they did good.

Montway was good but the people who they subbed out to were hard to understand. There was a language barrier. The vehicle was an older '72 Chevy pickup truck, which was my son's truck from college. It looks old but he put a lot of money and a lot of summers bailing hay and doing stuff to make this truck work. And to watch these guys just rig the gears and drive it up on the ramps and not being on the ramp was gut-wrenching. I'm used to transporting animals and it was just a truck but that was hard to watch. If I could have done the transport myself, I would have. It wasn't what I expected. I thought it'd be a little bit more professional. I load stuff on trailers all the time and I could have done easily what they did. But I didn't have the time. I wasn't totally dissatisfied with Montway. It could have just been so much better if it was clearly communicated.

I was getting my daughter's car back to her for college, and that was from San Diego to Albany in New York. When I called Montway, they seemed really nice and professional. It was very easy to get the car picked up. They came. I live in a condo complex, but they were able to let me know they were here, and then we got my car out to the street, and the pickup went really smoothly. They were very good during the transport. They didn't have trackers of the vehicles, but when I called and asked how things were, they were very good at saying, "They're here. Everything is going good."

Montway's customer service representatives were awesome. The driver was good. I was satisfied with the cost.

It was fantastic with Montway. I had to reschedule and they put it on hold for me. Also, they answered the phone so fast and the driver was professional and wonderful. He called to let me know where he was. The only issue we had was the alignment was a little off but we fixed that.

They were very informative and would get back to me when I had a few questions during transport. They always spoke with the driver and called me right back. Also, the driver was awesome. He asked me where I wanted to meet and met with me exactly where I wanted to. The final cost wasn't cheap but with gas prices and everything, it was a competitive price.

I was under the impression that Montway's transport service was door-to-door where they would pick the car up where it was at and then drop it off where we needed it to be dropped off at. But the driver said he was running late so he wanted us to take the car to the freeway. That way, he didn't have to drive and pick it up. He just had to pull off the freeway quickly and put the car on. At the time, I was already over here in Texas and I had to pay for an Uber for my brother-in-law because there was nobody else to drive him back. It was the only car. But it's fine. It just took away from the tip I was gonna give to the driver. It's not even a negative thing. At that time, too, it was storming and raining bad, so I would understand. He said he was behind schedule and there were some accidents on the freeway so, I was just trying to play my part as well. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Everything was fine with our transport with Montway. I loved the driver, Ray. He was good. I had the vehicle dropped off at a Walmart because I had to go to a city to pick it up. They did all that perfectly. It went really well.

The reps from Montway were very professional on the phone and explained everything to us in detail, so we didn't have to ask for any questions. The delivery went very smoothly and the driver met us directly in our house.

Everything was good with Montway’s customer service team. Plus, both the pickup and delivery were very smooth and nice. It was very good experience working with the driver and the timeline was excellent. I’d recommend Montway.

I've shipped six cars or more with Montway over the years, and my experience with them is that they're not always the best price, but they're always reasonably priced. Usually, with them, I get the car picked up on time. When I buy a car, I've only got five days to get it shipped before I start getting charged for storage, so having it picked up on time is more important sometimes than getting a better price. Montway has always done well by me, and I don't really have any complaints. The customer service reps are good too.

We had used Montway for other moves so I have their direct line. I called and a guy picked up. 10 minutes later, I got a quote. About a week later, we pulled the trigger as we were working our time frame. Between the three or four years that we used them previously, it was the same amount of money we spent. I would recommend Montway. There were no tricks. Every time I had a question when the car was shipped, they responded very promptly. Everything was perfect and the car was delivered cleaner than I expected.

I needed to ship my car across the county and, after much research, chose to go with Montway. I couldn't be happier with the service provided! The carrier they brokered (Optimum Transport) was timely, kind, and delivered my car unscathed. The drivers that transported my car, Denis and Roman, were both SO nice and I couldn't recommend them more! Montway was communicative and responsive when I had questions about delivery time and other inquiries along the way. Again, highly recommend!

Montway provided us with a competitive quote and the final cost was what was quoted so it was good. A person picked up the motorcycle at my house in Arizona and he was very professional. The motorcycle loaded up on a pallet, strapped down, and that was the last I saw of it. My son then picked up the motorcycle when the driver dropped it off at the Langley Air Force Base. It was just the same as when it left my house. I would use Montwat again and wouldn't go get other quotes next time. Our experience with them was just professional and easy.

Working with them was a positive experience. The rep came up with an estimated price then a final one. He sent me documents and set dates. The dates got changed but it was only about a week and I was connected to the actual transfer service. The only problem I had was finding the delivery location for the car. It was very out of the way and Google Maps couldn't find it very easily. Montway needs to get information from their movers so it's a little clearer for a new customer to drop off their car and pick it up at the new location. Other than that, it was an easy check-in and I was able to pick up the car with no problem.

Working with the drivers was excellent. They were very polite when they came to take the car. They were very knowledgeable and nice. When I called to confirm everything, the girls on the phone were very nice too. I'm very pleased with Montway. I’m going back home to Indiana and I have Montway scheduled.

I needed to ship a car from Florida to New York. I used Montway in the past and I was very happy with their service. Everything was positive with my experience recently. The driver was professional, kind, friendly, informative, stayed in touch, and told me to call if I needed to ask a question. The drop-off was wonderful. The car came right to the door. It was all by itself on the back of a flatbed type thing.

Montway was very good and helpful. They were going to pick up the vehicle in Fort Myers at my daughter's and drop it off at my son's in Gasport, New York, which is in Niagara County. The transport took seven days and everything arrived fine.

The gentleman that came to my house and loaded the car up on the back of his trailer couldn't have been nicer. He was very, very pleasant. He came at Christmas time, which was very, very difficult. But he delivered the car from Massachusetts all the way down to Florida. Two days later, the car was down here in Florida. It was way ahead of our arrival. But we made arrangements with the people with the RV park that we were staying at. So they parked it there and there was no problem. Montway finds the right person to make things happen from one end to the other end. As far as that goes, they made it happen and I was very happy about it.

The quote was a bit more than the other company. But when I called the other company, they said the price could be more. So I figured, “I don't like that, so let me just go with Montway.” And whatever they quoted was the price. The rep was very nice. He didn't speak a word of English, but he had somebody who we could call to translate. That made us nervous, but he was great. The car was delivered through difficult weather conditions. It had some dirt on it, but when you're driving 1,600 miles you expect something. It was fine.

Montway Auto Transport looked honest. Every time I called, it was a different person. But they all knew what was going on. They told me exactly what the timeline was and when the car would be picked up. They called me just before it picked up. They did fine. They got the car here. The young man arrived, loaded the car. We got here, the car was here. We were pleased. Everything went well.

The reps and the driver were nice. The driver was also very responsive to all questions and did a great job. He transported a car, and it was excellent. However, Montway's price was a bit higher than other competitors, so look around.

Montway's quote was on the low side, but it was the customer experience that made me decide to go with them. The rep reassured me that the rate he was giving me was the rate, and I felt comfortable talking with him. I bought an SUV from a dealer over the phone in Michigan, and they loaded the car with Montway, then the car was shipped by Pasha on their boat to Hawaii. A couple of days after it arrived in Hawaii, I received notice that I could pick it up at the Pasha yard for the cars, and the SUV was in good condition. Both my experience with Montway and Pasha picking the car up were good.

When I spoke with the representative I was working with in the beginning, she was very nice and knowledgeable. She explained the service to me because I had never used a service like this. Then, I did a little bit more research on Montway and some other ones but when I saw the great reviews from Montway, I decided to stay with them. I was very nervous about the transport because I might be saying goodbye to my car but she made me feel very comfortable and gave me how everything would be. We would go back and forth a couple times with more questions that I had. All in all, it was great.

Montway was helpful and answered my questions pretty easily. I spoke with Alex who was super cool and awesome. He called me to let me know when the car was almost there and handed it off. The driver was super personable and straightforward. I really trusted him with my vehicle. We met at a supermarket a couple of miles away and he took my car off. It was really simple.

I chose Montway originally because I thought they were a direct shipper. I didn't realize they were a broker. Everything was fine, though. I talked to them, told them when I would be there, and they sent me an email information to go through to make sure I had everything in order, and then they showed up the day of. The customer service person that helped me was super nice, really friendly, and better than I expected.

The customer service of Montway seemed better than the others and they had more options as far as being able to have it picked up at a certain time. The pickup and delivery were good. But, it was a little confusing because I needed a specific time and day. First, I got a call from a guy who said the long haul truck would pick it up locally, put it in a storage yard, and then the guy would pick it up later. They told me that could happen. But then, I got a call from the long haul guy saying, "I'll be over in 45 minutes." He didn't know anything about the other guy calling me. He said, "I'll make sure that they cancel that."

Our Subaru Outback was transported from New York to Arizona for about 2,500 miles at least. We signed up for one person who had contacted us, then just before he was supposed to come, Montway switched to another company to do the delivery. We assumed that the driver was going to take the vehicle all the way to Arizona. He didn't say that he wasn't. Then we found out when we contacted him a few days later that he was just the local transporter and that someone else was going to do the long-distance transport. So, it worked out okay though the transport took nine days and that was explained very well in advance.

Montway Auto Transport came to Tennessee at the tail end of that horrible bunch of weather right before Christmas. And they picked up our car when there's still ice and snow all over the place. The guy said he would have it to our destination in California by Friday. Thursday I got a call. They picked it up on Tuesday. Thursday afternoon, I got a call. It was already at its destination in Southern California.

The Montway rep I worked with was very helpful. The quote was good and the transport was quick. The driver was also cool. He let me know when he was about to leave or what time he was gonna be there. The car's condition was also good.

During the delivery of the vehicle, the reps reached out to me to see if I could meet them at a larger parking lot, which was a Walmart nearby. So, we did that. The driver was right on time. I highly recommend Montway and I have already done so to some other friends.

Montway picked up the car I bought online and brought it to me. They showed up, called me and said, "Hey, I'm here." I looked out the front window, and there they were. I thought, "Awesome." They handled everything, and I did nothing. They did great, and it was absolutely a great value. I'll use them again.

The quote was competitive and they were right on. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive but they lived up to whatever they said.

During pick-up, a pleasant fellow came to the door with a huge truck and took a number of photographs and measurements. My Toyota Camry arrived in perfect condition. He arrived on time and got the cars on the truck pretty quickly. He went over both cards with a fine-toothed comb and took a number of pictures of tiny things I wouldn't have seen. I ended up choosing Montway because of the history of the company. I looked on the Department of Transportation website where it says how many vehicles, transporters and employees they have. I picked another company first because they were a little bit less expensive but they were fraudulent. I gave them my down payment and they couldn't provide any services. I went back with Montway and paid just a little bit more, and they had a great carrier. When I set up the transport, I told them the dates. Then I had to move the dates forward. They were able to accommodate me on short notice. The driver came late at night. He told me the day before that he'd be here around noon, and he didn't come until almost 9 o'clock at night but that was because they had to come earlier. The communication with the driver was okay. Overall, Montway has very good customer service and communication. If you're gonna use a broker, I would recommend them.

I used them this year, and the pickup was in Long Island, New York and the drop-off was in Highland Beach, Florida. It was three days. The driver was readily available and accessible. I knew where my car was all the time. We're in a beach community. They pulled the truck up on the side of the road and dropped the cars off. It couldn't have gone smoother. My car was exactly the same way when the driver picked it up.

The driver picked up the car at my daughter's house in North Bend, Washington and she said he was very nice. I spoke with the gentleman who transported it across the country on a few occasions and he was wonderful. They had originally thought it would be there within four days and I thought that was pushing it. It was a long way to go in four days. But he called and said the date he was looking at being there. I said I would not be in Connecticut for a wedding but my niece would be there and I would give him her name and number and he could contact her. And he said, "Okay." But he still stayed in contact with me, which I appreciated. Then he called me the day before and said that it was looking like it was gonna be about midnight. I didn't know it would be delivered in the middle of the night and he asked if that was a problem. I said I would talk to my niece and that I don't know if he could get into the neighborhood. It might be too long to be able to make the curve because she lives in a cul-de-sac. But there is a food line right up the street and he could park it there, and let my niece know and she can get somebody to drive her up there and meet him.

Everybody was very communicative and kept us updated even when we weren't expecting an update. The rep at Montway was impressive and the driver was great. We appreciate the service. The cost was very good. Considering the gas, the fuel crisis or problems, it's fine. We were happy with the whole process and with the driver.

We're very happy with Montway's service. We were getting my daughter's car from California to Florida and everything was wonderful. It was smooth as silk. We did a lot of email back and forth as far as setting it up. Then the driver was right on time with the date that he had said he would be here. Tom and my daughter got a call from him, and they went and met him down the road in a parking lot and picked up the car, and it was great. They were very happy with everything.

Montway was wonderful. They did a great job. The first transport was from Wilmington, North Carolina to the big island, Hilo, Hawaii. Then coming back, it was from Hilo to Spring Lake, North Carolina. The quote was good. You can't expect anything better. Montway is about as good as you're gonna get.

Montway's customer service was good. There was always someone there at the phone, and they were very clear on my order. They seemed to be very reassuring. The driver was exceptionally nice as well, even in the wake of frustration, because we had a little miscommunication. On the other hand, the price was higher than what was quoted. There were tack on fees which I read was customary with them. Besides that, Montway did a really good job with a difficult situation. The problem is, they can't give you a date or a time until they find someone going your way, so you end up having to wait, not knowing when you can leave town. That all depends on who's driving this way and who's got room, and it's a good system once you know on how to use it.

We've used Montway for the last four years. Recently, we had a vehicle shipped from New Hampshire to Florida, and everything went good. There was an upcharge from the original quote, which I wasn't expecting, but it's not totally unexpected nowadays.

We were relocating and we've used Montway previously when we would come down to Florida for a month. But we have relocated to Florida. So, this last time, it worked because we've used them before. They were very professional. But it got delayed because of the actual being able to find a carrier. We didn't get the car until November 7th. It was about a week's delay. But we had the hurricane in the middle of it. We were just hopeful that the car would get there within a week to two.

I felt Montway Auto Transport was more responsible. Also, setting up the transport was easy to do. When I first called about it back in August, I was quoted one rate. And when I called back in October, it was a higher rate because they told me that it was because it was a seasonal thing and they're busy. Just like anything else seasonal, it's more money then. But the driver was excellent. He was very courteous. He called me before pick up. They also called me immediately for pickup at the Florida end of it. Car was all ready for me when I got there to pick it up.

My overall experience was very good. Having not done it before, it was mysterious going into it, as far as timing. Because all of those dates and times with flights, and just trying to coordinate, that is a bit of a hectic nightmare. But when it started to fall into place, it made sense to me. But I understood they're an aggregator for truck driving companies. They match you up with somebody who is going your way. And that worked out very well. The driver was most kind. He took the vehicle to a shopping center half a mile from our house. He was right on time. He gave us a 20-minute window, so we met him. And within minutes, we were driving our car home. The vehicle was in great condition.

The pickup was supposed to be on a Tuesday but that day came and went. It turned out that it was gonna be picked up two days later and then that came and went, too. I had to call and find out what was going on. The guy who was gonna pick up the car called me back and said his truck died and my pickup was delayed until Saturday. That was a bit of a bummer because I was in my new location and I had to wait a couple of days for my vehicle to arrive and I didn't like that I had to call numerous times. My faith on the whole thing eroded. But when they picked up the vehicle, they were complete professionals. My husband was amazed at their skill level to get the truck on the flat bed.

Worst vehicle shipping experience of my life. I paid $1700 to have my BMW M3 shipped from Florida to Tennessee with a guaranteed pickup and delivery dates, on a closed carrier. I was optimistic based on their positive reviews and efficient quote and scheduling process. I received a text on the day of pickup that a truck would be at my house by 5pm to pick up the vehicle. Instead, an open carrier arrived at 6:30, but the driver apologized for the delay due to traffic and promised that the vehicle would be transferred to a closed carrier for the trip to Tennessee. That's fine, things happen and I knew Montway said an open carrier was possible for pickup.

Your company kept us informed, as promised by you, and our car was delivered in a timely fashion. I used Montway for a transport from Dallas to San Francisco. That took five days and the car was in an enclosed vehicle. Communication was absolutely perfect. There was only one speed bump that I hit in the process. I was threading a needle back and forth because my daughter was traveling and the car was going to her. Based on the pickup and delivery date, we kept trying to figure out how it would work. That aside, everything went fine. David was the pickup driver and he did a fabulous job. If I ever get a chance, I'm gonna circle back to Jay's website. It's excellent and he has never let me stray. I use him often for references. I was very happy.

The ramp felt more like my dog was going to walk over a hill, than a bridge. It was not worth it. They should consider something longer. It might work for a car that is closer to the ground, but def not a Bronco.

It was a cross-country transport and it took three days, which was quicker than I thought. I had '95 Bronco shipped from Texas to California. Montway's reps were pretty good and quick. Plus, the quote they gave me was great from what I've heard from other companies. They weren't able to pick up the car right in front of my house because of where I live but everything went smoothly in delivering it to them and when they brought it back to us. When we got the car, it was running, but the check engine light was on. So, when they got it delivered, they weren't able to turn it back on as something was going on. But they got it all situated at the delivery.

So, it was perfect. My niece had to meet the drivers because of their road and there's no real driveway where it was or anything where a truck could go.

Montway did everything they said they were going to. The man who delivered the truck arrived on time and had good communication. The car arrived good and timely, and they did an excellent job. There is always a discrepancy in the initial quote and the ending bill. If you do it this way, it's this. And there was a $200 add-on if you needed an exact date or an exact time. They didn't let me know in the first conversation, but they let me know when they gave me a time. I asked what time the driver would be there and the rep said that’ll be an extra 200. I had no choice because I had to have it there. The transport was quick and Montway made my life easy.

When he got to Maine where he was dropping my car off, there was a problem with him not being able to come down my street because the truck was too big, so he arranged for an alternative place to meet. Montway also said they were not gonna call me back and ask for more money. It worked perfectly. The driver met me across the street from where I'm at and dropped it off on a Friday night. Montway is phenomenal. We've used them a couple of times since. I've recommended them to my sales guys.
