Montway Auto Transport Reviews

I was moving and I found Montway online. I saw someone else who did a YouTube video about them and they gave them good reviews and they were a pretty decent service. Setting up the service was fairly easy. Montway makes the directions clear and simple. The pickup and the drop-off were smooth and they were on time. The transport was from California to Michigan and that took less than a week. The driver came to the location that I told him to pick up the vehicle, did an inspection, looked for any dents or scratches, took pictures, loaded it up, and went about their way. I would recommend Montway. They are trustworthy, on time, and easy to work with. The quote was pretty accurate and the price was fair.

I left the car at a hotel and I worked with the transport company to make sure that would be okay with them if I wasn't there physically when they pick up the car, Then, I worked with the hotel to make sure I could leave the key and that someone would be able to pick it up. So, it was a little nerve-racking for me but the process itself was very easy. I called Montway and spoke to someone but you could also fill out a form online. It worked out great. I wanted the car picked up as soon as possible because I didn't want it sitting at the hotel and they had told me it would be. I talked to someone who said they would try to have it picked up by a certain date, but there were no guarantees. It could be a little bit longer. But it was picked up quickly. That was the easiest part of my accident. Dealing with my insurance was awful and my original tow pick-up took hours. I was having a bad trip and that part went smoothly.

We used Montway to transport a vehicle from Florida to Texas. We received a very fair price and they actually delivered the vehicle to us a day earlier than expected which was very welcome. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

I went online and contacted several places. It looked like Montway was the bigger of everything online, so I contacted them. But they had a higher price. I told them the price I already got and they dropped the price down. They gave me a good price. I had the gentleman come to pick up the vehicle. He picked it up and put it on the truck. Then he brought it up. We have a big parking lot near where I live up here in Massachusetts. He dropped off the vehicle in that parking lot and it was good. It all worked out. I'll use Montway again because I'm going to transport another vehicle down in December.

Use Montway because they're reliable. And the driver who picked up the car was excellent. I liked Montway's price. And when I placed the order, they sent me back a quote within hours. I called them about how long it would take to get it booked. And they gave me a rough estimate. So, I went ahead and booked. They got it booked in a reasonable amount of time. The courier-driver was informative and nice. He was able to bring the car directly to my son. They were early.

I went online and booked the transportation. Immediately, it said I needed to confirm a few more details. The executive was online at that time and he asked if the vehicle had any attachments on top of the vehicle, something like roof rails or some boxes. I answered all his questions, and then he confirmed the booking. It was very easy. After booking, I got the car within one week later. The driver called 15 minutes before the drop and then he was there. It was all smooth and nice experience.

The pick up was surprisingly quick. It was pretty much within 24 hours of wanting to do this that they showed up quickly at my street to pick the car up. The delivery was very well handled. There was excellent communication along the way from Denver to Houston from the driver at different stopping points. He had taken pictures of the vehicle at drop-off. He backed the vehicle off the carrier and drove it up the street to the apartment where we're staying. It was door-to-door service. It was absolutely exceptional. It was very professional, seamless, friendly, and extremely timely. I would absolutely use Montway again. I'll be shipping my vehicle back to Denver in the next few months. So I am going to reach out to them directly instead of uShip.

The guys that transported the car were the best. The driver called me a couple of times, told me where he was and when he was coming. I dropped the car off Thursday night, and it came Sunday night like they said. The price they quoted was the price it was. If I'm gonna go again, I wanna call Montway out. Hopefully, I can request those guys because they did an outstanding job.

I like the ease of use for Montway. I had a good experience with them the year before so I used them again. The customer service was fantastic. The drivers were super professional, impressive and top-notch. They're a great company.

It is off-season and I don't know what Montway would charge the people that are looking to send their car during the winter season, the snowbirds, but for me, my experience was positive. The gentleman I spoke to was able to give me a price immediately, and nothing changed once I decided to use them as a service. It was a mere $800 and there were no catches to it. It's a good thing because many people will give you a price, then when you book them, they'll give you all these fees attached to it.

Everything went well. They emailed me when they were about to get here. They called when they got here to pick up the car. The guy helped me with the car 'cause it wasn't turning on. He passed the cables for the batteries to turn on. Montway gave me a satisfactory service.

The driver was phenomenal and kept calling me the whole way there. He helped me 'cause something with the vehicle didn't work, and he stayed there until he fixed it for me. The cost was perfect. I'd move with Montway again. I love them. I also used them when I moved years ago. They're fantastic. If you ever want a vehicle transported, use Montway. I wouldn't trust anybody else.

I spoke with a salesperson that wasn't pushy on the first day, then Montway gave me an update. They were very communicative and good price as well. Price was something because I got prices all over the board, from 600 all the way to 4,000. I could tell that the cheap ones were scams and the more expensive ones were scams in their own sense. Montway wasn't the most reasonable, but their price was average and it was the good average. They also seemed like a normal business that wasn't out to get me. I didn't get 100 texts from them after I spoke with them. So, it's definitely a very interesting business. That's how all these companies run and conduct themselves. It's horrible. Montway didn't change the price on me, and our driver was wonderful. We really appreciated him. He dropped off the Mercedes to my sister that lives next door and everything was perfect.

Montway answered every question of mine. That was excellent. I was very satisfied with the answers. Alex, the representative who came to pick up my car, was very accommodating. He understood what my needs were and assured me that everything was going to be good. I was initially worried about the date of when he would come, but he came on time and dropped the car without damage. He was very cooperative.

Everything was good from beginning to end with Montway. First call was setting up, and it took less than five minutes. They gave me a flat-out price of what it would be. Everything was smooth. Even when they had a problem, they had it fixed in five minutes. The service is worth the money.

Just like the first shipment had no issues. The overall process was extremely easy from dropping off the vehicle to the port in Hawaii to it being delivered to my driveway in San Antonio. Price was reasonable and shipment was very timely and convenient with having to move two vehicles from Hawaii to Texas in a very short period of time.

My driver was Juan. He was excellent and patient. He was early for my car pickup and delivery. He waited patiently while my daughter was packing her items. He was kind, and even helped her remove her keys from her key ring.

Transporting an expensive classic car is obviously nerve wracking, especially when you live in the mountains like I do. But they did a great job! The dispatcher kept in frequent contact. And I saw when the truck arrived he had a Porsche 918, an old Ford F100, and a few more exotic cars, easily worth millions. They are worth your business and your trust in my opinion.

There's a ton of scam companies out there that are "cheaper" but you get what you pay for. My car was picked up on time and delivered as promised. The only thing I would change is the robo emails from Neil that told me to do something that was already coordinated. Very confusing. Other than that it was a 5 star service. I even communicated to the driver throughout the deliver process.

The pickup for my vehicle was very easy and the driver kept in touch with me during the trip. Would definitely use Montway again. The pickup was on the promised date and my car came to my house three days later. The price was good also

I made arrangements to pick up my newly purchased vintage vehicle that I did not want to drive in winter over the passes and was very glad to see in good shape when it arrived. I recently used the Montway to transport my mom's minivan from Honolulu, HI to Hillsdale, NJ. From the day the car was dropped off at the port in HI, it took about a month until the car was delivered in NJ. Everyone at Montway who interacted with me and my mom were super nice and helpful. I also received all updates via text & email. As their pricing was lowest among four companies that I reached, I was kind of skeptical at first but I'm glad that I did it with Montway. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vehicle transport service.

The on-line ordering was easy to understand and complete. The driver was very professional and arrived when promised. Shipping was fast; the car went from Wisconsin to Washington state in only a few days. I shipped 100 pounds of cargo with the car which saved money. I had Montway ship a 2022 Ford Bronco. I did look at a site that aggregated the quotes. Their quote and their star rating were presented next to others. I liked their price relative to the reviews and the star rating. The guy who delivered the car let me know when he was getting close, and then I met him. So, it was really easy. The car looks great. It is kind of a funny story because they arranged transportation so quickly that the dealership had not washed the car yet. They were like, "We've never had a transportation company show up that quick. So, I'm so sorry. I didn't wash it." I have been telling people how easy my experience with Montway was and how cost-effective it was.

The Montway reps were excellent. They were all asking good questions or keeping me up-to-date. So, the interactions were always good. The quote was good as far as I could tell. If I had to do something like that again, I would do it with Montway.

I would use Montway again. They provided good, accurate info and the pricing rapidly. They helped set up a date for the transport service. They offered better service at a great price. I expected to pay more for this transport. We were gonna do a not enclosed carrier and they had a service provider available for 100 extra bucks for an enclosed one which I preferred. We were given the driver's direct number. It was a four-day transfer. We had good information on delivery time. The driver was great. Montway provided everything as promised and exceeded expectations. They also sent a couple of emails after, checking up.

Montway Auto Transport seemed like the best option. They emailed me a quote. That seemed to be the cheapest one. They gave me a call back and began to ask me questions. And the ball began rolling from there. They came, took pictures of the car for the before and after. They did an inspection of the car, put it on the truck, and left. And they were polite. The money had to be in cash or a cashier’s check. So, I called them. And they were able to get back to me. And they came and gave me my car and the keys. And they left. I got my car in the same condition that it was when it left. So, it was a perfect hand-off as well.

I just told Montway where I needed the car picked up and where I needed it dropped off. I was really flexible about the dates, but they scheduled something for me and it worked out. The driver had great communication. Every time I reached out to him, I received pretty fast responses. He let me know exactly the time, even down to an hour out when he would be picking up the car. Then it arrived much sooner than I thought it would. It was three days earlier than I thought it would. He just was in constant contact. The quoted and final cost were spot-on. Everything was great. They were going to pick up the car on a day that the person wasn't gonna be available. They were able to switch it for me pretty quickly to the following day. They were very accommodating to everything.

We look into getting our truck shipped. We are in our 70s and the drive would have been extremely long. I just didn't want to drive that far. We asked the dealership if they worked with anybody and they recommended Montway. I spoke with several people and they answered my questions. We were satisfied with the quote. The only thing that happened was it went up $100. I called Montway and asked them about that and they said it had something to do with the size of the vehicle. It was reasonable and we didn't have a problem paying the additional cost. I just wish they have informed the customer that the price was going to have to go up $100 because of the size of the vehicle. We were texting back and forth and they could have said that.

I had been in an accident out of state, and my Chrysler Pacifica had been repaired up there. I came home to Tennessee, so the car needed to be shipped. Montway had reached out by email a couple of times, and I talked with a gentleman when I did the booking. He was fantastic. He was very open and friendly. And he was English, if that makes any difference. Montway's communication was excellent. The car arrived exactly as it was supposed to. We requested that it be delivered to our dealership and not to our home. They checked ahead of time. They called the dealership ahead of time to make sure arrangement had been made for its arrival. It was really good. I would tell my friends, “Don't bother getting any other quotes. Just go with Montway.”

Montway was very timely and quick. They were the first to respond to my request for transport. I got four inquiries about transport, and Montway happened to work out. As far as the transport, they held the car on a flatbed truck with some other supplies. It seemed like it was a guy that was going from point A to point B. I happened to be along the way. They picked the car up. I didn't have to handle it. He drove it up on the flatbed and dropped it off. He was bringing it to me. I live on a four-lane road that has a center turning median. He came right to the door, took it off, and drove it into my driveway. As far as the price, it was more than I wanted to pay, but it was the best price I had and the best timing. So, I was satisfied with it.

The price was on a little bit higher end, but it was worth it. The guy was there at the pickup on time. There was a storm going on. He let me know when he was through it and walked me through every checkpoint he had. He delivered to me right when he said he was. Everything was perfect. I'll use them for the next transport.

Montway was able to do what I needed when I needed it and at a fair price. The driver went over and above expectations. When he picked the vehicle up, it was not running. It was parked in a senior citizens complex in Florida that did not allow commercial vehicles in there. Because he couldn't go in to pick it up and it did not run, he had to push it to the exit gate by hand then pick it up. As far as delivery, he came on time when he was supposed to, dropped it in the street, then pushed it by hand into my driveway. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Montway's rep was very cool, very helpful and honest. The prices were changing as I made decisions, so I was like, "Oh, okay." The driver was fantastic. He put up with a lot of stuff. Overall, Montway made a giant task seem easy.

The final cost was fair considering that they did a good job, and the car arrived during the time expected and in good condition.

I called up Montway and spoke to a gentleman. I explained to him exactly what was the situation and what I needed. He dealt with it very nicely and helped me set up everything. They did a very good job on the transport. They texted me and made sure that the car was on its way and that everything was okay. When the driver was an hour in the state, I got a call from him letting me know that he was in the area and the approximate time he was gonna arrive at the destination. He did everything he needed to do, safety-wise, and he explained to me exactly how he was gonna drop the car. We communicated a lot on the phone and he made sure that the car was gonna be in a safe area. Then, he gave me a card and told me to give them a call if I needed anything else.

Montway was always reaching out to us. We were well-informed and updated a lot. I got a good quote that was within range of everybody. We were comfortable with it. My daughter picked up the vehicle upon arrival and it was in great condition. She was really happy with it and the driver worked really well with her. If we need the service, I'll contact them again. I'm glad we found Montway. It's a great car carrier.

They don't charge enough for the quality of service and I'd tell others they're the best choice to go with. They're a very reliable, dependable, and professional company.

We moved three vehicles from New Jersey to Florida and Montway did a great job. The driver picked up on a Tuesday and we got the cars on Monday because we weren't arriving until Sunday. They said they could deliver the cars on Sunday evening but I couldn’t guarantee what time I would be there. I said we would be here on Monday and he said it was not a problem. And sure enough, we had the vehicles by 9 o'clock in the morning. We're in a gated community so they couldn't bring the truck in because it was a little bit big. But the driver met us right outside. The whole thing was easy-peasy and the cars were in perfect condition. They took pictures of the vehicle when they loaded them, before loading, loading and once they were delivered. There were no scratches. It was a great service.

Montway has a good price. Everything was fine. When we made the appointment, the first guy was good. The interaction was simple and brief. The driver came and picked up our 2010 Honda Civic in Phoenix, Arizona and he was earlier than expected, so that was good. He was the only other person we interacted and he was very nice and helpful. He told us everything we needed to know.

I had a good experience with Montway Auto Transport, so now I only use them. I would tell them a timeframe that I would like for the car to be picked up or dropped off. And they would reach out to their drivers and see who's in the area, and if it's a possibility to get it closer to the first or last day within my timeframe. They would usually get it within that. They pick the car up, and I would be in contact with the driver from then on.

They did make me whole monetarily, refunding a portion of the shipping costs but they weren't working hard to make amends until I submitted negative reviews about my experience.

I'm in Florida and I purchased the car in Alaska. I started calling transport companies in Alaska and I had a terrible time with all those companies. I went on to Google and Montway was one of the bigger ones. Also, Montway was in Chicago. They talked back to me while the other companies did so two days or sometime later. It was almost phantom return phone calls from these dispatchers. I decided to try Montway and they said that they had moved a lot of vehicles of various types.

Dealing with Montway motor transport was outstanding and extremely helpful. The company that moved my car from Ct.- Fl. Lopes transport were very good and the driver (Raphael) was great. The transport company from Fl.-Ct were great and driver Mario was great. Would use Montway again without any reservations.

Montway had what I thought were some of the best reviews and reputation. I used them twice. The first contact was fine. The delivery was not good. They gave me some runaround and disregarded my concerns about the car. They were late, but then I had to move it again another time and I used them again. It was a much better experience all-around. With the assigned driver in both instances, we both walked around the car and looked at the car to make sure we agreed on any markings, and we signed off on a bill of lading.

I bought a car on eBay and it was located all the way across the country so I needed to transport it to my place of residence. I was getting bids around the $1,500 to $2,000 range from different companies. Montway was not exactly the cheapest but they had better reviews than the other companies. The scheduling was pretty simple and they said the delivery would be anywhere from 7 to 15 days due to not really knowing what the weather and all that could go like. It was pretty reasonable and I was able to get my transport completed in 7 days, which was pretty nice. I was notified about an hour before the actual delivery was there and the driver showed up. He was on a semi-truck and he had other vehicles he had to deliver. He pulled off a few vehicles in order to get to mine. He made sure that the codes matched and the delivery got cleared.

I gave Montway Auto Transport my car much earlier, just to guarantee. But they delivered it when they said they would. When I would email someone and I would respond, someone else would respond. It was very confusing. Montway's quote was pricier than other ones. But it was accurate. It's not the cheapest, but at least you know your car will be there safe. I had a great delivery service and I felt that my car was in good hands. So, I would recommend Montway.

I had a very positive experience with Montway. I had my car when COVID hit. I drove it to my mom's house, and it was sitting there. After COVID, I moved back to California, so I had it shipped back here. My brother was there for the pickup, so I left my keys with him, and they picked it up from the location I asked them to and shipped it. It went well, and the cost was reasonable. They gave me a bit of a discount. I'll tell people to use Montway.

Montway was about the same cost as everyone else. It was just easier to go through and do it online. The reps were very helpful. I spoke with a couple of them, and they did help me with handling everything I needed to ensure that everything was picked up at the right time. The pickup driver communicated very well. We met at a place where he was able to get my vehicle pretty easily in a Walmart parking lot. The drop-off driver was also okay. The transport was originally gonna take two days, but I needed it to be longer. So I asked them to not drop it off for at least 10 more days, and they were able to do that. Everything was pretty great.

It was an excellent service all the way around. The driver was super and my vehicle was perfect when it arrived.

Other than that, it was front door service. The condition of the vehicle was as expected. It was dirty on the inside and outside.

I told him to call me 20 minutes before he arrives at the location and he did exactly what I told him. My car was delivered and I was happy with it. Everything was intact. My experience with them was excellent. The driver was absolutely 5-star. He picked up the car on a Friday and since his truck couldn't fit well in the main road, he drove it to my driveway in Chicago. It was excellent service. The car seemed dirty but it was because it was exposed for so long. Other than that, he brought it in really good shape. He was a nice guy and I appreciated his honesty. Moving with Montway was completely stress free. I recommend them.

I was a little concerned about coming up with the day they were gonna pick the vehicle up. They hadn't called me to give me any information, but I called them. Shortly thereafter, they had a transport company lined up for me. They picked it up at my house and they dropped it off to Clearwater, Florida. The driver said he'd be there Thursday evening or Friday morning. He rolled in at Friday morning. It worked out perfectly. I liked the guy that transported, too. He seemed honest. The price was also very reasonable.

I originally set the transport with Montway online, but I needed to try and change the date. It was a little bit difficult to do because they said, "You have to give us a 10-day window." The car wound up getting shipped sooner than we would have liked it, but it is what it is. The quote they provided was great. But I would love it if Montway would allow us to add a tip in at the very end in order to tip out the driver because I had no cash on me that day. Unfortunately, I couldn't give him a tip, but he did a fantastic job.

When I initially did my research online, Montway was one of the top searches and the highest rated on multiple different websites. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was great. It was a very easy and comfortable process, and I'm very thankful that everything worked out. The driver was very short and sweet. He had places to go and people to see, but he took his time, and it was a good exchange.

Everything worked out well when I used Montway. The pricing was good. The driver was very agreeable. We picked out a location at a commercial parking lot for stores. He went back by the shipping part of the stores of shipping and receiving, and wide open back there. When I got there, the car was off the truck. I inspected it and everything was good.

Their pricing was good compared to the others. They said they would call me and they did and they picked the vehicle up. The vehicle was in fine condition when it arrived.

Everything was seamless and great. The driver was very professional and extremely nice. Other than dust, the car was like when he put it on the trailer. It was perfect. The car even arrived two days earlier. Montway is the best.

The reps at Montway were nice. There are a couple parameters that you have to do for pickup through the auction house, and they knew how to do that. I've used them twice. The first time, I wasn't familiar with them at all, and that was the first vehicle I got. It went smoothly, so I used them a second time. They gave me the driver's cell number, so it was easy to talk to him. The driver was good. He called me and let me know when he might arrive which was very helpful.

My car was picked up sooner than was expected. It was good timing me. Car was delivered to my son's home when expected. Communication between myself, the driver, and my son were excellent. Very satisfied with the service EXCEPT they kept contacting me after I scheduled the transport. It’s like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Told them numerous times but kept getting contacted by multiple people within the organization to set up the transport of my car when it was already scheduled. Was very annoying and disappointing. However, the pick- up and delivery were on time and the car was fine; no damage. I’d recommend but they need to improve their internal communication!

The customer service representatives were super nice. They arranged the time for me to meet. The driver was very professional and picked up my car. Then I was notified when it was ready to be delivered. So, they were very professional and nice and timely and really wanted the business. They called me back a couple of times because I didn't like the little online to get a inquiry. They called me two or three times to secure the business. Montway was about $500 cheaper than the other quote. So, it was good. It was very reasonable for shipping a car halfway across the country.

The process with Montway was excellent. The only thing was that there was no separate message to the receiver which could be sent. The person who was receiving the car had to rely on me to figure out. The communication was only with me, not with my daughter who was receiving the car. If there could be a way to make sure the receiving party also got the updates, it would be good.

This company says they "provide peace of mind" but they are a nightmare to work with. They subcontract with truckers who can't be reached by phone for days and who don't answer messages, who pick up your car late, and then Montway has no idea where your car is and when it might arrive. I still don't have my car, 4 days after their window for arrival, and Montway says it cannot reach the trucker who has it, or the company that owns the truck and they have no update for its arrival. I would never use this company again.

The transport was scheduled to take four days, but it only took two. The pickup was in North Carolina and drop-off was in Colorado. The company gave me updates as far as where the vehicles at. As far as the pickup driver, there was a little bit of a language barrier, but that wasn't bad. He was very thorough, making sure that I marked everything, including any dent things with the vehicle. He also let me know everything he found, so that way, I wouldn't be blindsided by something that I missed while he was doing the inspection. He was very good. For the delivery, he contacted my wife and let her know that he was gonna be here the next day, and then gave her a one-hour heads-up before he got here. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. It was smooth, easy, and got what I needed to be done.

Montway seemed fair. They kept their word, unlike the people that moved our stuff. What they quoted, they stayed with. Moving is a blind experience and we were lucky with Montway. The driver we had was fine. But I would have appreciated a little more warning that I would have to go to him because of the size of the truck. It would have been a little bit nice to say, "You know, if you can't get that 18-wheeler to your house, he's gonna ask you to meet at an intermediate spot." That would have been great to know. That aside, the car arrived fine.

I looked at reviews of auto transport companies, and Montway seems to be one of the higher ones. The people on the phone were quite friendly and easy to kind of navigate the process. The price was really fair the distance I was traveling. Also, it felt a little bit more safe. From what I read online, it looks like they have been doing it for a while and kinda knew what they were doing, so I left it at that. The important thing for me is that the car had to be delivered after a particular date. So, I didn't really care if it took three weeks long. I just needed it to be delivered after a certain date so that gave me and my family plenty of time to get up there and to get a little bit established. The best part was that they were able to work with me on, "I don't need this right now. I need it picked up by this point, but it can't be delivered until after this point." Some companies I called, once they picked it up, they had a quick window where I had to be up there by a certain date.

Setting up the transport with Montway went well. I made the call, made the reservation, they picked up my car, and dropped it off. It was pretty smooth. The transport was scheduled for four days. The car got there on time, and the driver communicated the entire way, too. He took pictures, got the mileage and the VIN was checked. He did that for pick-up and drop-off. He called me and gave me the option to meet him somewhere or come to my home. I was already out and about, so I made it easier for him and myself to meet him at a mutual place. Montway got the job done.

The driver went above and beyond. I said, "I've been diagnosed with COVID. If you wanna come another day, that's fine." He said, "Nope. Let's take care of it over the phone. You show me the paper, you wear a mask. I'll drop the vehicle off." That was really generous and that was exactly what happened. He called when he got here. I showed him the receipt and he gave me the truck. We didn't really have contact. We stayed away from each other. I was really happy that it could work out because I was afraid that it was gonna be pushed back.

I've purchased a lot of cars around the country and used Montway up until this last car I had them move. It's a '36 Ford custom car worth $50,000, and the rep was helpful. However, there was about $13,000 of damage because of the way it was trucked. The transporter didn't take into account the car above the '36 Ford and that rubbed on it all the way down, ruining the custom car. The transport guy didn't even know it happened until we backed the car and it got off the trailer. I was sitting there, and the car is bright viper red and it's stunning. A friend of mine was with me and we started looking at the car.

Montway always does excellent jobs. We've used their service, so far, twice in the last two years, and they are the best. I used the website to start the process and then I followed up to check on the pick-up date or delivery date. They were very prompt in responding. I had a complex situation. I had to go and get the vehicle. I was also not there when the vehicle was delivered. They helped in both situations. The people who were doing the delivery did a great job of picking it up and delivering it wherever it needed to be.

I called Montway on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 and was told it could be five days before they my car would be transported. But within an hour, I had a phone call and the guy said he could pick it up the next morning. It was in Maryland and he said he was only about an hour from it. So, he picked it up that Friday morning. They said that I would get it on Sunday but on Saturday afternoon, the guy called me and said he's got my Corvette. He was a very nice fella. He said he could bring it straight on to me and unload it, but it was going to be around 11:00 that night before he got here, or he had a car to deliver to Edinburgh and he could deliver it that evening then bring me my car the next day, early afternoon.

The communication was good. The truck showed up when it was supposed to. Even with the ice storms, the driver made sure to get the truck to me safely. It's a complicated truck being a hot rod. The owner gave him a rundown on how to start it and he was able to get it out of the trailer perfectly fine and set up a ton of ramps to get it out without damaging it. He was good at what he was doing. The only thing that was a challenge was there was a little bit of a language barrier. But it was enough to get by. He knew what he was doing enough to have to not talk to me too much about the process of getting the truck out. He handled everything himself and made sure I inspected the car and signed off on the paperwork correctly.

The driver was good to work with. The only problem that we had was language. He spoke Spanish and we didn't. But besides that, we were able to convey what he needed and what I needed. They called me to let me know that they had arrived then my cousin took over from there and let me know where the car was parked at.

But if they have issues with the driver picking it up, it gets rescheduled maybe a couple of times. I got rescheduled one time, but it wasn't bad. I gave them a time frame and they were able to meet it. I had a direct communication with the driver. The driver gave us his cell phone number and we kept track of the vehicle the entire way. Compared to other vehicles I've shipped around, Montway’s quote was slightly higher. But it was within reason. I've already turned a few people on to them. So, it was a good service.

I restore old trucks so I'm always buying stuff in other states or if I sell it to somebody, I usually recommend Montway to other people to use if they're looking for a transport. Sometimes I'll just book the transport online but it’s hard because they don't list the right amount of vehicles to make that work. Sometimes we'll talk in person and sometimes, we'll chat online.
