Today is November 29. I went into location 2590, Salem OR. I initially went in for the $24.99 but saw what was offered and upgraded. It was all explained to me what was available and I chose the Signature Service Synthetic. The guys there were professional and friendly. I enjoyed talking with them at a personal level. Ismael, Steven, David, Devin and Kyle were great to work with. They made the visit a great experience. I will definitely be back.

I had already had a bad experience at this particular Jiffy Lube. Wrote on Google my review. The asst Mgr Calls me and says "come back in and I'll give a discount". Against my better judgement I went back anyway. I called ahead of time to speak to the manager on duty and he let me know that the manager that I had spoken to prior had been fired 3 weeks 2 weeks ago. He went on to say that he would take care of me when I got there. There were several things that needed to be notated for them to do that they did not do. They were going to not wipe down my windshield at all with wording on there. I show that to the store manager. He then told them to clean it off. Explain to me that they were from Miami and then at Miami they didn't do that.
Upon looking at the receipt it says wash exterior windows completed even though it never been completed. The manager did give me a discount of $50.20 off of my bill. I will never return to this jiffy lube again. And this jiffy lube is number 3339 on 1551 highway 17 North in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina turn on 582. Her number is 843-249-9944. My work order number was **. Today's date is 11 22 19. Service that 11:27 a.m. I am completely unhappy with the service I received. I will be going somewhere else with my car from now on.

My car is 2 years old. Went in for an oil change. My filters weren't properly put back in by the mechanics. I had to go back to Jiffy Lube 3 times in one week because my light kept coming on, and my car was jolting when I would accelerate. I was told by a Jiffy Lube supervisor to go to Nissan to get whatever the issue was fixed as the supervisor admitted they messed up and had the same thing happen at another location with another Nissan.
After I got the work done, I went and gave Jiffy Lube my invoice, and now they are not paying for the full invoice. I had Nissan call Jiffy and explain what work needed to be done because Jiffy Lube said I got a service that was not needed. Nissan called and explained exactly why this was done. Jiffy Lube still refused to reconsider. Not only was I inconvenienced by the time I had to keep going back and forth to the service center, I was without a car for two days, had to pay an Uber to get back to work from Jiffy, and now I'm stuck with a bill - all because their mechanics messed up. You'd think because of all this inconvenience, I'd at least get my oil change credited back because of the experience I've had. I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone take their car there.

Free coffee. Quick service. The only problem is in Post Falls ID they don't honor digital coupons. So no 15$ off synthetic oil. Or 13$ off conventional. As of today Nov 19 2019. And for the "last year" their boss no longer honors the coupons. So maybe try a different Jiffy Lube?

I went to Jiffy Lube here in Aurora, Colorado for an oil change and a power steering flush, I had a coupon special for $26.99 oil change and they’ll charge me $67 for the power steering service, first of all the power steering service took less than 10 minutes and all he did he brought My sorry portable pump that hardly works, he put the suction tube in the steering pump for less than a minute. Barely could suck anything. And then topped off with maybe a quart of fluid and they did the oil change and then he wrote an invoice for $149, as far I remember is $26.99 + $67 = 93.99 and then add tax and shop fees that comes up around $100.
I asked the cashier that the total is wrong and he told me that they don’t honor the coupons. So after going back and forth he called the manager on the phone and after along argument they charged me $110. If I didn’t pay attention they would’ve got away with it. I’m sure I’m not the first and last customer they pull that stuff on. After I got home I noticed fluid leak in my garage and I’m still trying to figure what the heck they did. I won’t be doing business with Jiffy Lube anymore.

Today I went in for an oil change and received excellent service at the Jiffy Lube location on 6603 FM 78 SATX 78244; they did my oil change found out my sensor was unplugged from the last time I had my service done and reconnected it; they told me my belt and brake fluid need to be taken care of soon and how much that will be when I get it done, plus gave me $25 off when I do bring it in. Before I was about to leave they noticed that I was missing screws for my air filter. Ashton said he will order them and to return next week. Conrad gave me a detail description about what I needed. Overall great experience in a very long time.

I have been going to Jiffy Lube for years. One month ago, I went in for a simple oil change and left with a crack in my radiator. I went back the following day and they denied any wrongdoing. I was forced to go to another mechanic and pay $350 for a new radiator. I asked Jiffy Lube to at least split the cost and they refused. I sent them a demand letter and if I don't hear back in a couple of days, I will file in small claims court. Do yourself a favor and choose a different company if you value your car.

I was told it would take 40 minutes. It ended up taking 105 minutes. I ask a couple of times and they told me it would just be a few more minutes. At the end of this long wait time, they said they couldn't get my coupon to work but they would find me one. The coupon I had gave me $40 savings but the coupon they gave me was for $18 savings. WOW...not even close. They told me they were sorry but wouldn't adjust the discount. They told me they filled my tires to the correct pressure and they Did Not!! They flat out told me a lie. I will never go there again and I will certainly give my opinion to anyone who wants to know.

I went in for an oil change, and to have my oil drain plug replaced. During the service their technician cracked my oil pan, and I was told I could purchase the part and they would replace it for me without charge. They have had my car a week, and the cost has changed multiple times. They now want me to pay for labor and incidentals even when it was due to their negligence.

I took my Infiniti in to Jiffy Lube of Riverdale Utah, firstly they did not have the proper tools to remove my tire for a brake job. After I had the lugs changed at my cost, they damaged both sets of brakes costing me $549.00 to repair atop the 300+ charged by jiffy lube to foul up my car. After I filed a complaint with the main headquarter, including receipts, radio footage of Neeson's mechanic repair and explanation of the problem, Jiffy lube told me I haven't sufficient evidence they did nothing wrong. All I sought was reimbursement of the repair of the Jiffy lube damage. See you in court.

I have used Jiffy lube for years unfortunately, one of those times my oil plug was stripped and they replaced it with a oversized screw. Every 3000 miles I took my car in for a oil change. The day I took my car in I had a radiator leak but because they were not a multi service Jiffy Lube I had to take it too Pep Boys to have my radiator replace. Upon picking up my car I noticed a leak and tech from Pep boys should me where what Jiffy Lube had done. I call the Jiffy cooperate office and the had me to take my car to a Jiffy Lube multi car center and they replaced my oil pan and oil pump. They rented me a car for a whole week. I was told my car was repaired and I could pick it up.
When I picked up my car it was idling high and vibrating, I told the tech and he argued with me so I left very sad, I went a half of mile and my under carriage came down and was dragging the ground. I called back to the Jiffy Lube on Clinton Hwy in Knoxville Tn. They sent someone to fix my car but he couldn’t so he told me to drive my car back so I had to drive my car back with it dragging back to the service center, which at that time it was ripped and couldn’t be replace so they used zip ties to keep it on I emailed corporate and needless to say did nothing. I no other car to drive so on my way taking my son back to college the under carriage fell down again. I had to pull over on the interstate state and try to push it back up. Very disappointed because they denied fixing my car. My cars sounds terrible and is driving terrible.

Avoid at all cost!! Took our vehicle for an oil change. Even though our car had never been outside of CA before, they stated that our car had been to their service station over and over (we later found out a previous owner took it to a location in Los Angeles, CA) and wanted to upsell everything (which we expected but declined as our car was in perfect running condition before we took it to this location). We thought everything was fine after we left until our car started having several code issues pop up, almost immediately after leaving. We had to replace our O2 sensor as it was somehow damaged in the oil change (it had just been replaced in September 2019 before we drove from CA to NJ), and had constant issues with our car now stalling when it had been completely fine before the oil change.
We found out four days after the oil change that the employees never reconnected our hoses when they disconnected the air filter system in my car, which was causing all sorts of fuel injection errors. Rather than having this shady location touch my car again, we fixed it ourselves at our own cost. Do NOT trust Jiffy Lube to touch your car, this is not the first time a Jiffy Lube location has ruined a vehicle of mine but it sure is going to be the LAST. I will not ever return to another Jiffy Lube location and I highly recommend that nobody else does either. There are so many places to get an oil change these days that are so much more respectful to the owner and to the car itself. (Photos of the damage were posted in my google review online as well.)

I had my oil changed at the location on South Havana in Aurora, smelled oil burning as soon as I left but thought it was just that they had spilled some oil on the engine. There was an oil leak out of the drain plug, when I went back the person that performed the oil change admitted he know the drain plug was stripped out when he sent my car out the door, they installed a temporary drain plug, which leaks, and promises to fix my car. Unable to get the manager (BOB) to contact me. They know the leak might burn up my engine and sent the car out the door anyway. Lie, cheat, steal anything but the right thing.

Go elsewhere. Especially if you are a woman. As the saying goes, these guys saw me coming. My husband was away, but I needed an oil change. I went to the dealership, but they were too busy to get me in. My husband suggested I go to Jiffy Lube. Since I live in Payson, I decided to go to the Payson Utah location, even though they only had 2 1/2 stars. I should have listened to my gut and made the drive north to a different one of waited for my dealership to get me in.
I pulled up, the first thing they said was my car used synthetic oil. After arguing with the guy for a bit, I finally agreed to a synthetic blend. That should have been my second red flag. I also agreed to a tire rotation as the dealer always did that with each service. After waiting a few minutes one of the techs came in the waiting room and told me I needed a new air filter. Ok, I believed them so I agreed. Well, $129.00 later I left and thought I was done. After talking with my husband, he informed me that not only do I not need a synthetic blend, but he had just changed the air filter recently. In other words, they up charged me for a synthetic blend oil and lied about the air filter. So what should have been a $39.00 oil change, ended up costing $90 more, because they knew they could take advantage of me and did so.
Now, maybe I should be "more informed" or should have waited for my husband to do it, but I should not have to worry about a national chain taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. Warning to those who don't know about cars. Take your oil change business elsewhere. My husband took the car back today, let them know of his displeasure too and to give them an opportunity to make it right. He was told the General Manager would be calling him today. We have not heard a word.

Jiffy Lube's customer service is the most Offensive, Disgusting, display of Apathy I have ever encountered. 7/6/19 – Jiffy Lube broke my oil pan on a routine oil change. I brought the car right back, reported the issue, they acknowledged it, apologized and ordered a replacement part. A week went by, they got the part, I took off of work for the repair, they took their time getting to the repair while I waited onsite, didn’t finish in time, failed to give me a rental car and they essentially left me stranded. I had to make alternative plans for someone else to pick up my 8 year old son, because Jiffy Lube failed to fulfill their promise or communicate this failure in time.
The next day I get the car back with the new pan and gasket. And again it is leaking, but this time from the seal where the pan meets the gasket. The Farmingdale Store Manager Lou then said that they will get a repair shop to fix it. The next 60 days (2 months) are me calling over and over because no one returned calls. Lou escalated the issue to Mike and Jack from the Shirly store, and they too fail to help or return phone calls when promised.
9/19 - They escalate to District Manager Ken **, who authorized the repair. It took 60 days to get this person on the phone! I sent Ken a few reminders about the date of the to make sure it goes smoothly. 9/14 – The repair shop uncovered deep gouges on the bottom of the motor where Jiffy Lube forcefully removed the pan and gasket damaging my car. The repair shop fixed the damage Jiffy Lube caused. When it came time to pay.... Ken calls me with his credit card to pay for the damage, and Ken’s card doesn’t work, so I end up STUCK with the bill. I request Ken to get me check OVERNIGHTED, for which Ken tells me that’s impossible and that I have to wait a week to be reimbursed. To recap, the District Manager of Jiffy Lube had ME pay a bill that he agreed to pay, and then advised that they are unable to overnight a check?
9/16 - 9/18 I reached out to Ken ** 4 times – he stopped returning my messages. 9/19 – Frustrated and disheartened, I message Patrick Southwick, President of Jiffy Lube International, on Linked IN. He doesn’t return my call or message. 9/19 – I receive a call from Chris **, Regional Vice President Jiffy Lube International who apologizes for the behavior of EVERYONE else that I spoke to and advised that doesn’t “represent how they do business”. He promises me a warranty letter and will look into reimbursing me for removing all of the oil damage their negligence caused to my personal property, driveway, street, work.
On this call, Chris also stated that Ken ** stopped returning my calls because “I was hostile with him”. I couldn’t believe what I had heard. I am a nice person. If anything I was too nice to him and everyone else. Ken was negligent and created a lie to cover his tracks, blaming me for his failings. I offered to send Chris every text message exchange with Ken, AND advised that the mechanic and the front desk were both present when this alleged “hostile” behavior transpired. The reality is… Ken ** lied, period.
9/20 – I receive an e-mail from D’Evelyn **, Corporate Customer Service, with the warranty for the repair for 12,000 miles, retro dated back to the beginning of July, which was 4,000 miles ago, meaning they are really only giving me a 8,000 mile warranty. I advise D-Evelyn of the error, and she includes Chris ** on the e-mail.
9/30 – It is now 10 days since I requested the updated warranty information. I have NOT heard back from Chris ** or D’Evelyn **, or Patrick Southwick. I can say this honestly since I have dealth with so many levels of their organization over the past few months… Jiffy Lube does NOT care about the customers. They do not care. Their business practices are anti-consumer. I hope this review helps you decide to spend your money with a company that will value you more than Jiffy Lube will.

Was one of the worst customer experiences I have had. I bought new tires from the Jiffy Lube on 1575 Freedom Blvd 200 W, Provo UT. The site manager called me to tell me that the tires had arrived and that I should set aside about 1-1.5 hours for their location to put these new tires on my car. I got there at a time that is usually not busy. I waited an hour and 40 minutes for them to even start working on my car -- and they only started looking at it when I told them it was inappropriate that I had waited so long. They inspected 6 or 7 cars that arrived after I arrived before they started working on my car. These other cars were there for emissions, which requires less time. I can understand if they let a few people ahead of me because changing tires requires more time than an emissions check; but it was obvious that like they would have kept letting everyone ahead of me regardless of how long I had waited.
It look another hour to finish putting on the tires. They then tried billing me almost $100 for work on another Chevy car that was being worked on that day, even though I had prepaid for the service. When I got to my car, I noticed that they had not replaced the caps on the tires. The manager needed to tell the employee to put on caps on the tires. There were so many things that were inappropriate about this experience. It was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend to anyone that they avoid receiving service on their car from this company and specifically this location.

A few hours later, I get a call from the "supervisor" saying the mechanic changed the spark plugs/wires on my car and now the car won't run. He said "It is not drivable and keeps dying on them". (FYI, my car was totally drivable before - this was just maintenance). He asked the mechanic if the wires could be crossed and the mechanic said "No, I checked that".
Then, the supervisor said the mechanic said the problem was the catalytic converter but they do not do that there. Long story short, I had to have my car towed$$ to the dealership$$. The dealership$$ found that the spark plug wires WERE crossed and they repositioned them to their proper location. Now, the car runs OK. I am VERY disappointed in Jiffy Lube and will never return to any Jiffy Lube! I tried to get Jiffy Lube to give me a refund but they refused.

I went to Jiffy Lube in Fort Collins on the corner of Drake and College yesterday, July 16, 2019 for an oil change. It was an awful experience. I pulled right in and there was no wait. The mechanic was friendly and helpful. My car was complete in about 10 minutes. However, instead of ringing me out, the cashier decided to take a 30 minute lunch break without letting anyone in the waiting room know (mine was one of two cars “finished” when she disappeared). By the time she returned, I had been waiting for 30 minutes in a room full of other customers, and my car had been parked in the “finished” spot (and not been touched) the entire time.
When the cashier finally returned, she made excuses about being short staffed and displayed a hostile attitude toward me because I asked what had taken so long. She talked under her breath to another employee right in front of me, then went around the corner to speak with another employee about her frustrations with me, and did not finish checking me out. Someone else checked me out and actually had the decency to apologize. I continued on to my errands and after getting back in my car less than two hours later, the low coolant light came on. I drove straight back to Jiffy Lube because I had just paid 5.99 extra to have my coolant topped off.
When I returned, they tried to tell me I had lost a gallon of fluid in less than two hours because of a small leak. Upon further inspection by a new mechanic, he found that none of my fluids had been topped off. I checked my receipt and this is when I noticed that supposedly my car had been vacuumed, yet there was still dirt and grass all over the floor of the driver's and passenger sides. I will never go back to this Jiffy Lube location. I was extremely disappointed and feel like they did not value me as a customer. Nor did they value the money I paid for services.

I went to the Chandler AZ location because it was close to the Sam’s Club we frequent. When I went in I asked how long for an oil change. He told me 20 minutes. The appointment ran 1hr 15min in total. Not the main issue. What I am upset about is while I was being asked “Which level of oil change would you like?” This was while I watched a mechanic currently dumping in oil. How did he know which one I wanted when I hadn’t chosen? When I asked about it the tech told me “Oh he’s filling other reservoir.” As if I do not know which is the oil fill and which is the windshield fill and coolant reservoir. Then I was informed I needed a $45 cabin air filter and another $45 air filter. Ok fine. A simple inexpensive oil change turned into a $180 job until I found a coupon. Which they said there were none until I went online.
After I left I went to the store and turned off the engine near my home which is nowhere near the Jiffy Lube. Of course another issue. They forgot to reset the oil change notifier. When I called to ask how to do it the guy said I must drive back and they will do it for me. I said, "Please just tell me how to do it." He was rude but explained how to do it and said, "Well I guess we just missed it but we don’t get paid to do that!" He continued to make excuses saying they’re different on every car and not all have them. Every model I’ve driven regardless of model or type had this warning indicator. Overpriced. Not honest about times or services. Rude when explaining. In short treated disgustingly sexist and never returning nor recommending anyone!

I took my Mazda 3 in on 05/19/2019 to Jiffy Lube #2345 on 884 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose, Ca 95123 for an oil change. I remember being surprised at how fast they finished the filter and oil change. Less than 5 mins after walking in the door, I was given an estimate at 1:38 asking what kind of oil I wanted and if I wanted the air filter changed. The time stamp is on the estimate. The final receipt says I paid for the service at 1:54. There were three other cars in the bays being serviced, so the fact the my car was finished from the time I parked it outside the bay, walked into the store, and paid for it when they deemed it was done was maybe 20 mins.
Fast forward three weeks later to 06/15/2019, I took my car in to a 76 station to have the brakes done. When I picked up my car, Ben with 76 said they did an oil change because the oil and filter were filthy and I had hardly any oil. He did not charge me for the oil change. (I have had service here before and this is the quality of their customer service.) I told him I just had my oil done at Jiffy Lube a few weeks earlier. He commented something about Jiffy Lube's reputation for not actually doing the services they claim. I decided to go to Jiffy Lube and confront them.
**, the manager at Jiffy Lube, told me I would have to bring the filter in for him to see, so I went and picked it up from the 76 station. I verified it was the same model of filter as noted on the Jiffy Lube receipt, before leaving the 76 station. When I went back with the filter seeping dark brown oil, the manager was gone for the day and I was told he was the only one that could authorize a refund. The person I talk to agreed the oil was pretty dirty and didn't look like it had been changed.
I went in today, June 24, 2019 to speak with the manager and get my refund. He made plenty of excuses and claimed the guy who changed it wrote the date on the oil filter proving he changed it, however, that proves nothing because he could have written the date on the one that was put on when I brought my car in February because it was the same model of filter. The receipt states what filter is used and I have both receipts. In the end, the manager claimed he could not authorize a refund.
I am bringing this to whoever will listen. They did not change my oil or filter by the looks of the filter removed and the color of oil seeping from it. They charged me $61.87 that I wanted refunded. This is the third incident of significance that I have had at this Jiffy Lube in over 10 years. I keep going back every couple years thinking that their quality of service will get better since employees cycle through there. Obviously my reasoning is flawed and I should have filed a complaint against them when the previous issues happen after I have discovered they have proven previous violations.

I went to the Tucker, GA Jiffy Lube to get my differential and transmission fluids changed. That's it. Three hours -- and less than 20 miles later, my engine was blown, due to there being no oil in it. I drove my truck in there, leak-free and full of clean oil. I left, nearly having an accident, and was billowing smoke and shaking on the freeway at rush hour -- less than 20 miles of driving after my service, when this happened. I phoned their dubiously monikered, "service representative line" to have them replace said engine. At my insistence that they made a mistake and caused this to happen, their completely unhelpful corporate offices began what can only be described as a Kafkaesque "investigation".
Ryan, a customer service representative, (and again, I use that term loosely) in Raleigh at Lucor --which is NOT Jiffy Lube corporate headquarters, but the franchise location for the SE, (which includes GA ) - Ryan wouldn't give me any information at all, stonewalling me on everything from who owns the franchise, to what is the name of their inspector, to who is the CEO of Lucor. I was not even allowed to contact a supervisor. I got nothing except attitude. First, Ryan (and his unnamed minions) insisted the oil loss was a coincidence because my truck was old. Their technician insisted he hadn't done anything wrong. Then they hired an inspector to look at the engine. It was determined that the engine blew due to lack of oil--which they insist was not their fault. My mechanic and theirs both agree that engine damage was due to no oil. They just won't entertain the possibility that within less than 20 miles of driving, they actually might have caused this.
And I'm NOT allowed to even get a copy of their inspector's report. For them this is a closed case. For me, just the beginning. They completely destroyed my truck. Everyone agrees that no oil caused my engine to blow. They just don't admit their hand in this. It is NOT a coincidence. My truck was leak-free --- they would have told me immediately if I was leaking or empty. They gave me a printed list of future service recommendations. Nowhere did it mention oil loss or leakage. I maintain that their technician --accidentally-- loosened something causing the oil loss. This is just not right or fair. They need to replace my engine. This is simple cause and effect. My truck was fine until they handled it. Now it needs a new engine. SHAME ON JIFFY LUBE! The only thing I did wrong was go there in the first place, and I won't make that mistake ever again. They ruined my truck. Don't let them ruin yours.

Had my oil changed here and two months later my car broke down (my car is only 4 years old). Had it towed to dealership. They told me there was virtually no oil in my car and the oil that was in it was jet black so there was no way the oil had been changed. Called Jiffy Lube, they said to come by. When I did they told me they had to take the oil change sticker off my car! Obviously they were trying to hide an evidence of an oil change. The damage to my car is over $3,000.00! They sent an inspector out and he claimed it was a faulty engine. Apparently to avoid paying for the damage he went on the internet to search out complaints against my particular car and came up with the bogus idea that it was a faulty GM engine (there are currently no recalls on the engine). Unfortunately I am going to have to resort to filing a lawsuit against Jiffy Lube.

(And any jokes you want to make about this place and the jerks who run it are welcome.) We have used Jiffy Lube since they opened because we found them to be dependable and trustworthy. At the end of my visit this morning, the manager gave me a coupon book "for next time." Trust me, there will not be a "next time."
He suggested we get our spark plugs changed and told us he would have to get a quote for us on that. He stated it would be 80.00. When I got the bill for the oil change and spark plugs it came to over 400.00. The manager then explained it was 75.00 an hour to replace the spark plugs, something he did not tell us before we agreed to it. They have blocked my complaints on Facebook and sent me to voice mail when I tried to call their corporate office. I am taking this to the appropriate consumer protection offices since they don't seem willing to answer my complaint.

The most dishonest service location I have ever been to. The Jiffy Lube at 1812 Pulaski Highway, Edgewood, MD, 21040 is staffed with a dishonest individuals who only want to get paid for providing no service. First they are always trying to convince you to get service that you don't need. Maybe that is how they make money so I can maybe forgive that.
Went in on Friday because my AC was not working. After they serviced the AC, they asked me to sit in the car before leaving to determine if the issue was resolved. I told them there and then that the AC was still not working and the temperature is still the same as before. The service tech told me that I need to drive it around a bit as the car was sitting in the heat and that is why I was not feeling the coolness. I told him I did not want to leave without it working. I asked him, if that does not work do I bring it back and have them fix it. He said yes. I asked the same question when I went to pay for the service and I got the same response.
The drive around had no effect and after a day I went back. As soon as the service tech saw me I said "Know why I am back right?" He asked "The AC is not working?" I was glad cause at least he remembered. I explained to him that the temperature never changed. Then he said "We don't do warranty on AC service and you have to pay for us to do it again." His manager then came out and after explaining to him he started shouting at me and said "You can call who the ** you want cause I can't help you." Lesson learnt. Please use another service provider so you are not ripped off as I was. After a $200.00 payment I still have a hot car in the middle of summer.

After one and a half months, I brought the car back for the store to fix the constant brake squealing that began after they replaced the pads. After again, informing me that the rotors would need to be replaced, IN TIME, Stefen informed me the brakes were fixed and that if the squealing persisted it should go away in a few weeks. After giving the benefit of the doubt, and allowing for a NUMBER of weeks for the squealing to go away, I ultimately went to AAMCO to have the brakes worked on properly. Granted, AAMCO resurfaced the rotors as well, but Jiffy Lube never informed me the rotors were of such immediate importance.
After contacting Jiffy Lube for reimbursement, and speaking with Stefen's manager Mike, they informed me that they would not reimburse my expense as I WAITED TOO LONG to address the matter. Waited too long? I first addressed it after only one and a half months or 45 days, well within normal warranties! Mike further stated that he had worked with Stefen for a number of years and that Stefen had no reason to lie that he had informed me of the importance of replacing the rotors immediately and that declining the replacement was against his advice. No reason to lie? How about covering his own **!
Essentially, this implied that I was the one that was lying! So much for customer service! I went for an oil change on 1/12/2019, everything seem to be ok when I drove the car home after that, however, couple of days after when I was driving on my way to work around 6am when it was still dark, I noticed that my car front lights were getting dimmer and to my horror they all went out and the steering wheel was getting harder to maneuver. I was very lucky that I did not figure in an accident and made my way to my office and half-way through the parking area my car totally died out.
Around 10am my colleagues who were knowledgeable with car mechanics helped me check what had happened with the car and found out that the hood pole melted on the positive transmission of the battery. Apparently, the Jiffy Lube guy who changed the oil on my car did not properly place the pole hood properly so when the car was running it was displaced and landed on the battery. I bought this car sometime June 2018 and never had issue with this car, I drove it from home to work and on one occasion to Orlando (130 miles from Gainesville) and I never had any problem. I contacted Jiffy Lube directly and told them what happened and after their manager took a look at the car they decided that it was not their fault since the pole hood holder was broken in the first place.
Now this claim is contentious because if it were broken before I brought the car to their service station I would have experienced this issue long time ago. Most likely what happened is the repair guy broke the pole hood holder while he was doing something with the car and did not advise me. Since they will not own up to their negligence or lend partial support to fix the issue I have filed an official complaint to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Currently checking with my lawyer due to life endangerment due to their lackluster service. Avoid going to Jiffy Lube if you can, there are other more reliable and competent service centers around. They will just leave you hanging in the air something happens to your car due to their negligence.

YOU ARE JIFFY LUBE NOT A TIRE PLACE.
At this point I am beyond annoyed and call my husband because all I wanted was a basic oil change. I explain what they are wanting me to pay for (knowing full well I will not be paying for any of that). He proceeds to tell the guy where to go and he shot back, "Well if your car breaks don't call us..." WHAT THE HECK?!? $60 later I can assure you I will not be back NOR will I ever recommend anyone to go to a Jiffy Lube. Moral of this review go to Canadian Tire, get the oil and a new filter and do it yourself..

My husband and I went to Jiffy Lube for a rear drum brake job, and left with misdiagnosed oversized drums, which they tried to blame on my master cylinder, and no hydraulic pressure, which I assumed was from the brake line that they cut. I picked up my car, and almost crashed in their parking lot. They have only refunded me what I had paid in their services, but that doesn't include the tows, and extra repairs, such as the line bleed. Oh... I am also banned from Jiffy Lube.

Took my car in for ONLY oil and filter change. As usual, I refused to purchase new air filter. As I wait, I notice several customers are getting new radiator caps. Radiator caps? That's strange. Then, manager shows me MY radiator cap. Says it failed their pressure test. Well they chose the wrong person to pull that trick on. I know cars, and I know radiator caps. And I knew my like knew radiator cap was not bad. They shrugged to indicate I was making a terrible mistake for not buying their new cap. After I left, I checked the radiator cap - it was fine and held pressure as it should. OK, maybe their test equipment was faulty and they were not aware. That is not likely. But otherwise, they were just scamming their customers.

So when I left the doctor's office there was a Jiffy Lube across the street. So I told them just want a oil change with my oil and when they get done, they still charge me $31.99. That’s what I paid for the oil. So if I was you and you have your own oil and stuff go anywhere else and it will be $10-$15.

Well after my oil change, I asked if my tire was repaired and the tech started they didn't do that and I could go to Discount Tire. I asked if my trans fluid was filled and the man stated yes. Well on the print out it stated low for trans fluid and not fluid added. I noticed they never filled that trans fluid. The only good part was going to Discount Tire for new tires but I had to get trans fluid from O'Reilly and fill my own trans fluid. This is the second time they didn't stop off fluids. Last time my brake fluid was low and never filled it. I will never go back to Jiffy Lube and you are lucky my car never had a problem due to your inept service. Thank you to Heartland Automotive, They Jumped in and got my engine replace and sadly that engine was knocking after just a few days. They sent my car back to the same shop. They use a individual shop for their engine replacement and then second engine blew, that is what the Mechanic told me. Jiffy Lube is standing by their claim it was my starter. I'm serious when it comes to reviews. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. Here is my review of the Jiffy Lube. I visited in Tucson across from Holy Hope Cemetery on Oracle over 10 years ago. I went in for an oil change and afterwards I was harassed about fixing everything else that was wrong with my car. I told him to give me my car keys or I would call the police. There I said it. I felt awful and I felt taken advantage of. I can only imagine the crap that females have to go through with pushy knuckle dragging salesman/mechanics...
Go to Midas instead. I told the Midas guy what happened and he said; "Oh no. We don't do that, we give you a list of what's wrong with your vehicle and it's up to you if you wanna fix it or not." The moment he told me that after giving me my receipt and diagnostic info I walked out of Midas with a spring in my step and a smile on my face.

In April of this year he went to get it out of storage and all the oil was on the floor so we took it to our regular mechanic. He found that they had cross threaded the oil pan plug and it could not be repaired. It took a while to find a replacement oil pan and it ended up costing us $800 for parts and labor. Jiffy Lube mgmt sent the request for reimbursement into corporate in May 2018. After repeated calls, they tell us it’s up to Corporate to respond. It’s almost Christmas and no response. The following week she put in more oil twice in one week before saying something to me. I told her that doesn't sound right so went out and checked. As soon as I looked under the car I could see the oil dripping off of the oil filter. I reached under and was able to tighten it at least a full turn. No more oil leak. Time in 8:30 am. I stopped in to have a couple exterior lights replaced, a tire rotation, windshield wipers replaced, and of course an oil change. After having four people doing what they do, oil changes. One comes to me and says they can’t change the bulbs on the top. I watched them try different screwdrivers Before the man came to talk with me. I said, "That’s fine I will change them myself. So now it’s windshield wipers, oil change, that hasn’t been finished yet, and a tire rotation.
The hood is down there cleaning and taking off their mats from my vehicle, so the oil change's done. One starts to change the windshield wipers. One starts the vehicle and looks around and says something isn’t working right. The light is still on, Another says oops I have to put this back on. OK I know what you’re thinking, at least they open the hood to put it back on, it’s orange in color and about an 1 1/2 long. I don’t mind. Good, good job for taking the initiative and reinstalling the part that was removed from my vehicle, thank you.
So now it’s this part and tire rotation. The young man cannot get it Reinstalled. As I’m watching and listening one sees that I am watching in stands between the glass in my vehicle with his back towards me as so I cannot see the struggle. He asks his boss for help and tells him that he can not get it screwed back on. His boss says OK, and never comes to help him or addressed the situation with him. 10 minutes later the hood goes down. His boss is billing somebody out. So I waited patiently for the customer to leave the building and I spoke up and asked the boss what was going on with my vehicle. There have been for guys trying to get on a part, what part was it that he is having trouble with? He said he was just about to go find out. I said thank you as he is going to walk out the door.
Then he turns to me and says, "You don’t need to talk to me that way. It is belittling! I was just about to go see what the problem is! Don’t talk to me like that!" And he literally turned around and got in my face, And then proceeded to say, "Talk to me like a man." Wow. I’m sorry. What, me asking a question about my vehicle while there are four young men trying to get something back on to my vehicle. If I wasn’t a business owner, I’m sure it would have played out a bit differently. I wouldn’t have waited for the customer to walk out of the building, I would have belittled him, I would’ve gotten back in his face when he raised his voice.
He comes back in 30 seconds later and says the snorkel to the air filter he couldn’t get back on. Then walks away quickly. I didn’t even have time to respond to it. Angie the cashier, she was pleasant with me. I think it’s time for Jiffy Lube to re-train or better yet train their staff on how to be, I don’t know honest, maybe how to have some integrity. So an oil change, windshield wiper blade and a Manager having horrible customer service. I still don’t know what the part was. I guess I’ll have to figure that out while I'm rotating tires and replacing light bulbs. Time out 9:40 am.

My car is in AWESOME condition, NEVER had any issues or needed repair other than brake pads, rotors and an oil change, the basic wear and tear on a car. I decided to take my vehicle to Jiffy Lube and has always gone to them and have never had an issue. I am not here to bash them or make them look bad, but to inform the public of my experience. I noticed that my passenger side front wheel was making a weird noise and stopped in to Jiffy Lube to have it looked at, I was informed that my wheel bearing and hub needed replacing. I was quoted a price of $300, $100 for the service and $186.00 for the part. Right there was a red flag, wheel bearing/hub only cost $100-$129.99, but nonetheless I agreed to have the service performed.
I sat at that service station for a total of 6 1/2 hrs for them to come and tell me that they could not get the wheel bearing off and that they broke the grove of the bolt as well as my sensor while trying to get the wheel bearing & hub off. I was a lost for words and highly upset. I was told that they will fix my car free of charge. I was without my car the entire weekend. I missed work and had to cancel all scheduled appointments that I had. One of the mechanics had to drive me home, take me to work and pick me up. I got my car back on 11/5/18, and when I test drove my car to make sure that everything was ok, I heard a grinding noise while driving, and was told that it was my rotors, my car was NOT making that sound prior to me bring it to Jiffy Lube. They are very careless and incompetent, now my front lights are extremely dim and only one of the two come on.
I am very upset and will NEVER go back to Jiffy Lube, then the boss of the shop had the audacity to tell me to take my vehicle to a Nissan dealership and have them look at it... HUH??? They are a RIPOFF for sure. I advise ANYONE who need your car repaired DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE, THEY DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE, overpriced quotes for parts and do not want to accept the blame for their actions. Worst place to get your oil change since they have more excuses than solutions... And paying for your mistakes with money only works if you rarely make mistakes. I was going to them for my oil changes for years and trusted their judgement on my engine's condition, as well as trusted they knew what they were doing. Until one day I went to a real shop to investigate the Jiffy Lube claim to a transmission leak. Not only was the leak proven false by the real mechanic by mere color but the repeated visits to jiffy lube taught me they are not an honest business. Since I was made aware of the awful condition of my oil cap immediately at Firestone but never once at jiffy lube. I learned that I almost destroyed my engine because a bunch of unprofessionals could not be honest when they lose or destroy parts on my car.
The Tumwater store is so excuse filled that when I pointed out to the store manager, Who was ripping apart the bag I had to carry my destroyed oil cap when it had an opening for that already, He immediately claimed it was a jab at his disability. And that is the store manager, ready with excuses to why I should not be mad at a huge mistake that would of blown my engine if not addressed. Instead he has a hook so I must be picking on him by their logic and not pointing out the awful approach to the bag itself let alone my car!
It WAS a jab at their approach to auto care at their shop since the bag was not sealed shut in any way and yet he was merely destroying the bag without looking at it to see the large opening the bag came with...! Seriously, they even destroyed my bag for transporting the oil cap they destroyed! No transmission leak was found but a value needing replacing that has no red liquid at all that could be mistaken for transmission fluid..
After they failed to put my windshield cap on the before that...but they did asked if it worked still the next visit because they couldn't find it l but knew I only want to them.. Firestone is where I went and received proper honesty. Even when they made their own errors, it was followed with great service that is expected from true adults. (360) 943-8601. I went to the Jiffy Lube on Greentree Road in Pittsburgh and paid for the service package that included an oil change and a tire rotation. The invoice indicated that all of the work for which I had paid had been completed. However, when I got home, I noticed that the tire which was missing a wheel cap before I took my car in for the tire rotation was still in the same place on the car, reflecting the fact that a tire rotation was not actually performed, even though they claimed that it was. This, quite simply, is FRAUD! Their deceit also causes excess and uneven wear on the tires, which is the reason why you should get your tires rotated in the first place. If you believe that this service has actually been done, then you ignorantly continue to drive around, prematurely wearing out those same tires that you were trying to protect. It was only because I happened to be missing this wheel cap that I noticed the situation.
I can only imagine how many other times I, or any of Jiffy Lube's other customers, have paid for a service that was never actually performed. And who knows WHAT service they claim to do which doesn't actually get done? Do we really know if fresh oil is being added... or if that new air filter which they claimed was necessary truly was?
Years ago, at a different Jiffy Lube, after paying for a similar service, one of my wheels LITERALLY fell off the car about 200 yards from the service center after I left from there. Needless to say, that incompetence could have had a tragic ending. (But at least they began the process of performing the tire rotation... setting aside that forgetting to tighten the lug bolts thing.) Years later, I gave a different Jiffy Lube location another chance, thinking that my experience was probably a rarity. (By the way, I couldn't give the same Jiffy Lube location another chance because... wouldn't ya know... they went out of business.)
When I spoke to the manager at the Jiffy Lube to tell him that my tires were not rotated, even though they had claimed that they were, he offered to providefor "free" the service that I had already paid for, if I brought my car back in. How wonderful... that they are willing to have me inconvenience myself by bringing my car back to them so they can perform for "free" the service for which I had already paid, and which was fraudulently not performed. I am not one who typically writes negative reviews. If I'm not happy, I simply take my business elsewhere. But in the case of Jiffy Lube, after (at least) twice having experienced potentially criminal "service" of different types, I felt it to be my civic duty to write a review that lets the readers know about the type of business that they'd be dealing with if they go to Jiffy Lube.

Earlier this year replaced filter and air filter. After I left in the mid-way to work the engine begin making loud banging noise with every accelerator pedal push, dropped the power. I manage to slowly drive to my mechanic shop who found the rubber tube of the filter housing off the engine air intake (I have RAV4 2011). Simple thing, they did not secure the rubber tube on the inlet and it came off. I did not charge any complaints.
Few months after that, pressed on time I had to stop by the same location on my way to work to do another scheduled oil change. The same crew, young black girl, lovely and smiling was acting as a manager and few young guys, mechanics around. I had my doubts but did not have an alternative. After work was done I wanted to ask "manager" girl on the quality and any issues, mention my last experience with them and whether the same person worked on my car. However, her personal cell phone went off and she grabbed it and stepped out for more important conversation.
I left the place. The oil began dripping next day, but more and more with the days, so I returned. After mechanic inspected the leak, which was coming directly from the filter, she came to me and announced that it was an "original manufacturer's gasket" that was found broken and now will be replaced. When I ask what original gasket, and should the gasket come with the filter, she said she has no idea and that's what mechanic said to her. After that went out dancing, practicing some moves outside (lovely girl!) I insisted talking to a mechanic who actually found what was wrong, and he showed to me the O-ring that was jammed by the thread. I thanked him for honesty and not ** me and left.

He even suggested me to go to my credit union and ask to put this on credit as I didn't have money to fix it. I didn't want to put this on credit as I'm not able to afford it. Also, I'm a petite woman in her 30's and they were also trying to sell me the best quality oil but for expensive. They wanted the money then and there. I told them that I have to make some calls and see what I could do and that I would let them know.
I ended up talking to my guy friend and my bishop and they both told me that brakes shouldn't cost that much and just get the oil change. My friend told me that he would fix my brakes for cheaper. The brakes were $70 for both front and back and for the labor $20 an hour. He also told me that he could build brakes for how much they are selling me for the brake pads.
Today my friend fixed my brakes and told me that it was just the front brakes not the back. When he came to get me at work I saw my car and it ran just like new. He also said that he would recommend Jiffy Lube to people he doesn't like and was saying not to go there to me. I'm grateful for my guy friend who was willing to take the time to fix my brakes and be honest with me.
I would never recommend anyone to go here and if there were a rating lower than a 1 star I would rate it like that. The mechanics there only want your money and will take advantage of you even when you can't afford it. In my own opinion, they saw a petite woman who doesn't know much with cars and tried to take advantage of her.

On April 27th, 2018, we brought our car into Jiffy Lube in Beaverton to have the brake pads checked. We were told the rear brake pads were in great condition, but the front brake pads needed to be replaced and the brake fluid in the front of the car flushed. We also had our oil changed and all other recommendations by the jiffy lube staff completed that day. Less than two months later our brakes were making noises again. We brought the car back in to the same Jiffy Lube on 7-20-18 and were told that the rear brake pads were in such poor condition they were basically metal on metal. Jiffy Lube staff were able to tell us this without even taking the wheels off of our vehicle and gave us a repair estimate of $500. We explained that the rear brake pads were fine in April and we were apologized to and given coupons for oil changes.
I called to speak to a manager that same day to discuss reimbursement for the damage to our brake pads and was yelled at by the manager. He then told me we “probably couldn’t afford to have all four brake pads done at the same time” and that’s why our rear brakes were now in such poor condition. He also said he didn’t work at that location at the time of our repairs so he didn’t know. He said he would have another manager call me. An hour later, Deandre called me, profusely apologized and promised that someone from corporate would call me within the hour. If I didn’t receive a phone call, he assured me I could call him back. I never received a phone call. When I called him back, I spoke to a staff member who told me Deandre was taking his second lunch of the day and would not be returning. I never received any return calls.
On 7/21/18 we took our car into Brake Lodge. After inspecting it, they found that our rotors were damaged and our calipers had frozen due to brake fluid not being flushed and brake pads not being replaced. The repairs cost $602. I called Jiffy Lube and spoke to Ted who told me I was not telling the truth about the services I received at Jiffy Lube on April 27th. After calling me a liar, Ted rudely told me to bring in my Brake Lodge invoice and nothing would probably come of it. He refused to give me the number of someone else I might speak to. We brought our paperwork into Jiffy Lube on July 27th and I received a phone call from the regional manager of Jiffy Lube.
Again, I had a conversation that can only be described as unprofessional and borderline rude. I was told that he tried to check camera footage of the day of April 27th but found nothing and there was nothing he could do. After a few minutes, he refused to speak to me or answer my questions. I was told his boss was out of town and would get back to me when he could. We eventually submitted a complaint with the BBB, but Jiffy has refused to make things right.

I accidentally drove too far into the docking bay and the first mechanic greets me with eyerolls and patronizes me about how obvious the signs were and how I should have known. He kept cringing and smirking with raised brows at his coworker in between addressing me as he directed me to another docking area. The manager then comes in to where the first mechanic, Ryan according to the receipt, directed me to sit, and also talks down to me about my mistake. I thought at first he was just joking with me until he also insisted that I must have seen the signs. I told him at that point that I did see that the signs said "Caution," but all welcome signs pointed into the bay areas and none directed traffic to stop short of them. He insisted I should have known better and I then told him I'm never returning to this Jiffy Lube. So rude and unprofessional. I just wanted an oil change!

My experience with Jiffy Lube has left me feeling very sadden. I went to Jiffy Lube (1116 Independence Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23455) for an oil change after a car inspection. ** an employee of Jiffy Lube tells me that my brakes were severely dangerous (metal to metal, no padding left, red zone) and he don’t know how the state inspector missed telling me that. Now the state inspector told me I needed tires and headlight restoration only brakes had passed no problem. A non-state inspector ** at Jiffy Lube tells me a certified state inspector did not do his job correctly and I needed brake immediately.
I have been a loyal customer of Jiffy Lube for decades so I trusted their employees to be honest people. So I scheduled an appt. for the brakes to be serviced, I get there and an older employee tells me that my brakes ARE NOT in the red zone but yellow zone and would pass inspection no problem. That’s why the certified inspector did not fail me for brakes. I will never again go to Jiffy Lube, its employees like ** who lie to loyal customers and try to steal your money for services that are not needed at the time. I do plan to tell everyone I know not to go to a car service facility (Jiffy Lube) where employees lie in order to make money. Without any regard for their loyal customers and being honest with them, they only care about the money and profit. In this day where competition for your business is high I will pay more for honesty than dealing with a liar when it comes to my car being serviced.
Day 2... So today the District Mgr ** calls me to insult me saying that he was not concerned about what I experienced. Because he perceived, he perceived. This district manager lacked customer service skills and is not qualified to resolve issues. That is a big problem when the whole management team lacks integrity, and the skills to resolve liars, and cheats in their organization. I would never go to Jiffy Lube for service. People go to car repair organizations that respect you as a person and can resolve issues without justifying their lying employees. I’m a senior citizens and I have had cars all my life. I have never experienced anything like this before, not even at a car dealership.

I went to a local Jiffy because I needed a quick oil change AND I had a coupon. When I pulled up the first thing the girl told me is that I absolutely had to have a synthetic oil change for my 2018 Kia Sorento. Then she said that since my car had 9000 miles it was definitely time for a tire rotation and then lastly, came in with a dirty air filter from my 6 month old car to tell me I needed a new one of these as well. So $200 later... Yes. $200 for what was supposed to be just an oil change. Btw, I called my vehicle lease company and asked about the oil afterward and they said “no, you do not have to have synthetic oil in this vehicle“ so I was blatantly lied to. I told them I will do the other things myself. We went for a walk (about 15 minutes). And they called us back to come get the car that it was ready. And while we were walking back I noticed that one of the tech was still in my car doing something (unknown what he was doing). We drove the car home. About a week later it started smoking puffs of white smoke every now and then, we also noticed a loss of power also.
I took it back and complain about the smoke, and was told that it was a lot of black gunk in the oil, but they changed it, and it still is doing the same thing. Now we have to take it to a dealer to find out what is wrong. This car had nothing wrong with it until after we went to Jiffy Lube in Pembroke Pines, on Pines Boulevard. I did found a hose from my PCV valve (and I still have it) that looks to me to be cut. And no one has been under the hood but me, and Jiffy Lube before then. I sat there a good 20 mins. Before I asked a guy what are they doing with my car. He said something sarcastic, anyway the guy finally comes walking in and says, "You didn't have any oil in your car," I said, "You're kidding," then he brings in my dip stick and shows me, then he wants to sell me this engine saving stuff. Needless to say I was not going to pay him 80.00 for an oil change.
I can almost bet my life on they being the one who drained my oil just to make more money, because when I went out there they had everything tore out of my car, filters, a cover that had to be screwed back on, they got in my glove compartment and took my air cond. filter out. All I wanted was a 29.99 oil change and with an hr. wait I left with no oil in my car. I've since put in 3 qts. Checked for any leaks, or any burning of the oil, like a grayish smoke coming out of tailpipe and nothing. They had to have drained my oil so they could sell me that engine saving fluid, and upgrade the oil. The more I think about it the madder I get.

Took our car to Jiffy Lube in November for an oil change. First they tried overcharging by $50. However, after working out this dispute our motor blew 80 miles later. Barely got it home. We put a complaint into Jiffy Lube immediately and after 5 months of waiting for an insurance claims expert to help resolve this issue, they decided to have it finally towed to a garage. However, it does not end there. We have had this looked at and explained that Jiffy Lube never completed all the work, as per their receipt and this is why the car probably blew an engine. But, they had their own inspector look at it and say it wasn't their fault. Bottom line, I would not trust either Jiffy Lube or their corporate executives.
Since this car now sat all winter, because of their laziness to have it checked out, there is probably further damage due to the freeze (we live in northern Vermont). We know they'll just say that THEIR DELAY of 5 MONTHS is not the issues. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT, NOR WILL I EVER GO BACK!!!

Once I hit the highway going over 70 I noticed a strange noise coming from under my car. I stopped. Didn't find anything unusual. Noise continued periodically and little black chunks kicked out from under car or car in front of me? Had no clue.
Get out looked again, it's obviously the motor cover hanging and dragging. Coincidence? I don't think so. I took car back to Jiffy Lube after we got back from vacation. He removed what was left of engine cover and denied any wrongdoing. He said the "clips" could have shifted. Funny because I know they're attached with screws. I barely left their property and it jerked and shook seriously. I called back immediately and was told to bring it back in. On 04/08/2018 I brought it in and waited another 4 hours. After some research, I learned that the amount I was charged for the oil change was typical for the North Idaho area (I'm from Oregon where we're spoiled by much lower oil change costs). I checked into the repair costs of the broken housing (it was only a clip on the casing that was broken), and found out that fixing the broken part would cost nearly $200 at the Toyota dealership. It was then that I realized that the dealership should be the one I was writing the negative review for! What they were charging was insane and I refused their services.
I wrote back to the Jiffy Lube owner and said there would be no need to accept any of his generous offers. My daughter said she is fine with leaving the air filter housing as it is since it does not appear that the broken clip will cause any problems with the function of the air filter itself. The owner of the Jiffy Lube spoke to his employees and I think all has been settled nicely now. This is one business owner that was willing to bend over backwards to make his customers happy. I now thank him and hope others on this site will have a happy ending like me! :o)

This was my first time to Jiffy Lube in Hayden, Idaho (4/02/2018 @10:13 am). Someone greeted me outside and took the car into the bay. I went into the empty waiting area. No one was at the desk. I waited alone at the desk for 5 minutes. Finally, a serviceman came in with the oil cap, and two dusty filters and laid them on the counter then tells me the car must have synthetic oil put in it. It was my daughter's car, and she had specifically told me to put in "regular" oil. I explained this to him. He argued. I texted my daughter and told her what he told me. She said to tell them to put in regular oil. I turned the phone around so he could see the screen. He took the phone from my hand and started to text her back, but couldn't spell "manufacturer" so gave up and gave me back my phone. Then said he would have to make a note on the invoice. I didn't even have a chance to find out how much they charged before they started.
For the oil change ONLY, it came to $51.77! Thank God I had coupon, but I still paid $44.11! It was too late to change my mind. I didn't notice the last line on the note they wrote on the invoice until I got home. It said "Air firlter housing broken on arrrival" (misspellings are his). What?? They never said a word about a broken air filter housing! I immediately texted my daughter and asked if her air filter housing was broken before I brought the car in? She said, 'No it was not broken and that they probably did it because they were mad'. Very poor service. Very poor communication. Possibly dishonest workers. Way over-priced. Never going there or to ANY Jiffy Lube ever again.

Fairly recently I was in for an oil change, and was informed the PRICE was now $25.00, after examining the mileage I was informed I did not need an oil change, and was told to come back in when the mileage was met. I thought was very good of the serviceman to inform me. That was 2 months ago January-2018. I also informed the serviceman that I would like coolant added to my working air conditioner, the serviceman noted this, and informed me that the price for that was $80.00, again I accepted, and at the same time I felt I was being RIPPED OFF! At this time they had not touched my vehicle after being in the bay for 45 minutes! Again the serviceman appeared at my vehicle window, and informed me that the COOLANT charge was now $100.00, with a bunch of MUMBO JUMBO! At this time was becoming quite agitated, but again TIRED, and not feeling well. I again accepted the price just to get it over with! Again after another 30 minute wait, and still NOTHING DONE for my vehicle!
The serviceman reappeared at my window, and INFORMED ME THE PRICE WAS NOW $200.00, this was the straw that broke this almost a sucker's back! This IS A USED CAR LOT WAY OF DOING Business. I refused the serviceman's price of $200.00, and then was asked how much was I willing to pay for the coolant, still not one thing had been done to my vehicle. I said, "Excuse me," she replied, "I will bring it in," my response was, "No you can direct me in." The "manager" said it's company "policy" "we drive in you drive it out". So I agreed. He drove it in.
I went through the waiting area and opened the door to the shop, and said, "I would like to sit in my car." "Manager" response was, "That is what the waiting room is for." I said, "Excuse me... I frankly don't trust "you" not saying "you" will steal anything, but I want to keep an eye in what is going on, and don't want to checking things that I did not ask to be looked at." "Manager" response was, "It's company policy that you remain in waiting area, we will come tell you what you need and we will check what we want." He then proceeded to say..., "Because you said that you don't trust us, I refuse to service your car. Leave!"
I said, "Are you serious, because I am more comfortable sitting in my car in an "Instant Oil Change" business than a "waiting room" like a dealership/"Firestone" and that I don't trust you are not going to recommend services that don't actually need to be done or were not asked for. Since when has it been the policy that I can't sit in my car," he and three others said, "Like 3 years!" My reply was, "It must have just changed since the last time I was in," because that was about 3 years ago and I was allowed to sit in my car. Needless to say I did as they said and left!
Now I will further this as it relates to another Jiffy Lube location going back about 12 years ago. Went in for an oil change, topside tech did his checks... not completely paying attention but close enough, I say him pop the air filter box and open the cabin air filter panel then presented me with both of them. They were black and disgustingly dirty. He recommended that I replace them! I replied, "There is NO way those are from my car." He said, "I assure you they are." "Nope. Sorry those are not mine. I have K&N air filters and I actually just cleaned them that past weekend. I can show you what mine look like if you like," and started to get out. The entire Jiffy Lube staff provided excellence in service throughout the visit. They changed the oil and also added antifreeze, which was a good bit low. In addition they replaced a burned out headlight.
Next, they brought me the old air filter and it clearly needed replaced, being full of dirt and feathers. The air filter was ordered so that it would arrive the next morning. I came back around noon and learned that because the vehicle is somewhat of an older model, the parts depot didn't have one in stock. So the office manager by the name of Earl arranged for the part to be available for installation closer to my home in Mount Gilead. He was very professional and courteous, even making the effort to follow-up later with a phone call to make certain that I would be able to get the air filter installed at the Jiffy Lube store nearest to my location.
Earl also explained each charge on the bill and applied a discount where appropriate. It is refreshing to have had such a positive experience, and be sent away with a better running vehicle as the result of exemplary service during the entire visit. Took it up to Jiffy Lube and apparently there's a plastic piece that we need to make sure they clean up on our car??? Ok that is beyond ridiculous!! When asked if they were going to clean our parking space?? The question was met with laughter and my thought was being called a SUCKER. Never again.

It seems this company is more interested in gouging you out of your money than providing honest service. Jiffy Lube was not always like that. When they first started out or when I first started going there, there was nobody trying to hard-sell you on additional services you didn't need. You got your oil change for the $39.99 they advertised then you left. Now the basic oil change costs $69.99 and not only that, you never know what type of oil you are getting. The other day I went to a Jiffy Lube for a basic oil change and when I left I was not really impressed by how my car was behaving. Usually I can tell if my car is running better or not, but when I left that Jiffy Lube I could not tell the difference.
As soon as you get into a Jiffy Lube these days, the clerks there rush you into some waiting room without getting much info on what you really need. Out of sight, they are able to do what they want with your car. When I looked at the receipt, Jiffy Lube had poured some "out-of-season" winter oil in my car in the middle of the summer! I drove the car like that for about 2 weeks until I finally stopped at a gas station, bought me a pint of oil and poured it into the car. The difference was like night and day. Now my car drove quietly like it was supposed to. I doubt if I'll ever visit this Jiffy Lube again. For $69 they can do better than that!

I needed an oil change before heading to Baltimore Md, car way overdue and on a time crunch. I know Jiffy Lube is quick so I wanted to go to the location in Hagerstown Md off Halfway Blvd b/c it's on the way. The rep told me my oil change was going to be $79 b/c I needed special oil, I have a 2012 Nissan Altima, not a $300,000 sports car. I told him that the DEALERSHIP was less. I left went to Sharrett Service Center in Hagerstown MD. Was only charged $37. They even worked with me to not take as long knowing my short availability. The rep at Jiffy Lies lied about needing a special oil. I've never and will never pay that much for oil change nor give them my business.

They locked my keys inside the car and the manager had an attitude of I don't care. I rank this store the worst of the worst. I am recommending all my friends who used to do oil change at this store to stop as soon as possible. I will make that campaign to all the people I know. Good with that manager his name is Kevin.

Jiffy Lube is very unreliable. You will pay for one type of oil. They will charge you for what you want and put the cheapest oil in your vehicle, I know for a fact they have been putting gasoline engine oil (conventional oil). I had to send my BAD oil to a specialist oil lab and the corporate office Ryan does not want to take responsibility for the negligence of his employees and compensate me. So now I'm going to FIGHT tooth and nail to get this matter handled. Keep your cars out of jiffy lube because they are so unreliable it's disgusting and disturbing. So court it is.

They did an oil change on Saturday, ran fine, went back home. Car was parked all day yesterday, drove it to work today then when I went to lunch the oil light came on and the car shut down completely & started making a clinking noise. I had to leave my car stranded because I was afraid to mess it up. My husband checked it... THE WHOLE FILTER WAS GONE AND THE OIL WAS DRAINED. NOTHING LEFT IN CAR. The oil was all spilled over the inside of the hood. We even took a picture... It's making a lawn mower sound when you gas it, I called Jiffy Lube and they said for me to take car back and put some oil in it and the noise would go away, we had to buy our own filter and 4 quarts of oil at O'Reilly's to put in ourselves just to drive it back to Jiffy Lube??? The guys there said it should be fine now and we asked to speak to a manager. I think my motor is shot.

I had a oil change at Jiffy Lube on June 24, 2017. Two days later I saw something wet on the street. I wasn't quite sure what it was. I spoke with the man at Jiffy Lube that did my oil change. He said that he didn't tighten the plug. My husband check out the oil but it was low and it shouldn't been. By the fourth day there was no oil. Another employee from Jiffy Lube went where my 1999 Infinity Qx4 had broke down and put a plug on and left four quarts oil, for us to put in the SUV. Instructed us to drive it to Jiffy Lube on Trolley Rd in Charleston, SC. Oil was all over the engine so we couldn't drive it. All I want is my engine replace. Respectfully requests.

I have gone to Jiffy Lube (Riverdale Utah 84405) to get my safety and emissions done now 4 different years, failed only safety every time!! First time was one of my tires supposedly had an issue. I went to Big O tires in Roy Utah. They assured me all my tires were fine. Second time my gas cap was bad so I went and bought a new one and threw the old one in the trunk, good thing I did I had it tested by another safety licensed shop. IT WAS FINE!!! The third time my passenger side wiper had a centimeter tear on the end. Of course they offered to fix it. The last time in they failed me saying my brake pads on the rear are too worn down, so I had them replaced, not at Jiffy Lube! The shop said they were only half way worn!!! The other thing is the guy before me also failed because his engine mount was worn???
When I confronted the employee about my brakes he said nothing other than he goes by the book, if so why were my brakes bad and I also asked him how many cars he failed that day. He said 2 of 14. So it was the guy before me and me that supposedly failed, and it was 5:30 pm. Ya right!! I wish someone would take these guys to court and have their records checked to see how many they fail in a day. I'm sure this is one of their tactics to sucker people into fixing things that do not need fixed. Very unprofessional. I hope people will see this and start to question them next time they say something needs fixed!!

I went to Jiffy Lube located on Coors Road SW Albuquerque NM. I told them my brakes were squeaking. If they could check them. A man came back promptly and said that I needed new brake pads. I said ok and trusted them. It would take 3 hours, so I walked across the street with my kids to eat. When they were done it was also closing time. I drove off and soon after come to find my brakes were still squeaking. I thought maybe because of the new brakes. But the noise did not stop. I call Jiffy Lube and say I'm taking back my car because the squeaking is still there. When I drive up this supervisor comes out, I tell him I called and why I'm there. He immediately says "Oh, I remember this car. Your brakes were squeaking because of too much grease." I said "Well that's new. No one told me that when I came. If that was the problem then what did I pay $200 for?" I asked.
This other guy pulls my car intakes off my front brakes, he walks up to me and say "Your problem is hairline fractures in the front brakes, but it's perfectly safe," he said. So I ask him "Are those my original brakes I came in with," he said "Yes". That they don't carry those brake pads, theirs are ceramic. I asked, "So my front brakes were not fixed." He said "NO". I go back inside and pull out my receipt I signed for, and asked the supervisor why were my front brakes not done when my receipt says front brake repair $200. He laughed and said "Awww we made a mistake. Your back brakes needed repair." So I say, "Oh ok, so you guys just get to fix whatever you think is needed." I paid for my front. Not to mention I didn't even need front brakes either. He tried to say I went into the area where they fix the cars, which I never did. I said "Pull out your recordings. I never went in there, you guys never came to show me nothing, I took your word for it."
He then said "Oh, you walked around our parking lot." I said "Ok, and what, am I suppose to know what you know." I then told him, "First you said it was because of too much grease on my front brakes when I pulled up with my complaint, then this other guy that obviously wouldn't lie for you comes to me and showed me it was hairline fractures in my front brakes. I then told him 'You never really checked my brakes did you?' Because you just lied about the problem when I first pulled up. I said 'You didn't even check the brakes did you???'" The store Manager calls me 4 days later and admits they did not look at my brakes properly and apologies, that they just looked at them while still on and assumed. But it still don't count for me paying for front brakes and I still have my original brake pads. The store Manager tells me they made a mistake and if I take my car back in they will do my front brakes.
For one, I feel cheated, taken advantage of because I'm a woman. Two, if the squeaking was coming from the front brakes because of hairline fractures but my brakes are good, they should have told me the truth. I don't have $200 Just to spend. If the noise and the brakes were bad, well ya, but they should have given me that option if I wanted them changes. Three, my signed receipt says I paid for front brakes, it's not my fault if they made a mistake and did the wrong ones. Four, How can any company just say "Sorry, we made a mistake but you did need back brakes." These people just can't fix something and say "Sorry you needed it and you got to pay now." Because that was what the store Manager said to me. Was "Sorry, but your back brakes were at 10%." But the supervisor admitted they were at 50%.
All they have done is lie, a lie after a lie trying to justify what they did. But their lies disprove one other. When I noticed my brakes were still squeaking I went there prepared and video recorded all their lies. The store Manager said the only thing I can do is to take my car back and they will do my front brakes. But I got to pay for the brake pads. I said "I ain't dishing out more money, and won't go back." He said that's all he can do. Meanwhile I paid for front brakes they didn't fix, I'm still having to use my car, the other guy said my brakes are safe. They won't return my money so I can go get them fixed if I choose to.
I AM NOT GOING TO LET THIS GO. IF ANYONE READS THIS AND HAS ANY THOUGHTS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO. CONTACT ME AT **. I have four small kids. I can't just keep it my car parked because they won't reimburse me. All I can do is hope my brakes are safe as the tech claimed. Maybe they ain't all liars. Maybe go and protest is a thought of mine, with my videos to all their customers. A friend said that Jiffy Lube was investigated by Barker And was on the news. They sent in a woman with a camera, and they did the same thing. They told her things were wrong and needed fixing when it didn't. And also just found out, they get a commission when they do extra repairs or sell extra parts. I didn't know that. I will not give up and will file a small claims judgment on them. Will continue to post my story.

On 4/6/17 I took my 2009 Mitsubishi Galant for a regular maintenance which is an oil change and transmission fluid change. Since that day my Galant has been running weird. I brought the issue to my boyfriend attention so he can look at my car. Unfortunately with his busy schedule he didn't have time to take a look at my car.
A month has passed and is now May 25 and is time for another oil change. I was near mechanic shop so I decided to stop and have the mechanic look at my vehicle. While the mechanic is doing the regular maintenance and since I only came for a oil change the mechanic told me is also time for my transmission fluid to be change. I denied the service and told him I just had my transmission fluid change in April. I asked the mechanic how long does it take for the transmission fluid to be change and the mechanic told me it takes about 1 - 2 years. That is when I said "ok well I just had it done". The mechanic showed me how the the transmission fluid looks now and how it should look when the fluid is fresh. Since is been a month it will not be as pink but a little pink. However in my case the fluid had a smell and was a really dark brown color.
I drove to Jiffy Lube in Rockville asked for store manager and employees there would not give me no explanation or contact information of the manager. Since no one was able to help me I told the employees that I will contact Consumer Affairs if no one is not able to help me. After 10 min arguing back and forth an employee contacted Greg on her personal phone. Greg agreed to met me at Jiffy Lube on May 25 at around 5:30 pm. At 5:45 pm I told the employee if Greg is still coming and that 5:30 pm had passed. The employee called Greg and Greg response was he was on his way but had to pick up his child. I told the employee that I also had personal errands and he agreed on a time that he will be available.
On May 26 around 10:30 am I received a phone call from Greg to discuss about car issue. I told him my issue can't be spoken over the phone and prefer to do so in person. When can we met? I told him. We agreed on May 26 at 4:30 pm. Greg arrived on time and his 1st concern was who told me and where are they located. Not asking "let me look at your car" or none of that. I told him that his 1st concern should have been let me look at your oil and see if they actually did the job wrong. After 5 min going back and forth I told him I wanted a refund to take my car somewhere else but he refuse and walked away. After that I knew we would go nowhere. Since then I have not heard back from Jiffy Lube.

May 10, 1917 went to Yelm, WA. Jiffy Lube for an oil change. Arrived home to a phone message saying that they had an issue with my drain plug and that I needed to call them. Called and was told that there was an issue with my drain plug and they needed to check it. Thank goodness I checked my oil level before I went back because I had no oil. I was upset, this could have ruined my engine. I added oil and went back to Jiffy Lube. Was told that there was a cracked gasket on the drain plug. They refilled my car with oil and fixed the problem with the drain plug which they blamed on whoever did the last oil change.
Got home to another call from Jiffy Lube asking me to come back the next day so the manager could recheck my car. I couldn't make it the next day but did the day after. I was told a whole different story on the cause of the problem by the manager, again blamed on the previous oil change. The manager was so rude!!! Some of his comments were "You're still talking", "You didn't change oil yourself did you, I didn't think so" and when I complained to him about his rudeness he told me I was being rude to him. Scares me how I would have been treated if my engine was ruined.

I visited the Jiffy Lube in Calumet City in February of this year. I don't know what these people have done to my truck, I step on the break and sometimes it's very hard for me to stop my truck. I don't know what is wrong, it seems as though they deliberately done something to my ABS system. When I told them not to clean out my truck, they got a attitude about it, but I intend to do something about this, but JIFFY LUBE WILL NOT GET BUSINESS FROM ME AGAIN. They just have incompetent employees and they trick you into paying for a higher priced oil change, no more JIFFY LUBE FOR ME! (DAMN CROOKS).

I had my transmission serviced at your store located 2020 East Sarah, Las Vegas on 22 April, 2017. You replaced all transmission fluids and filter. My truck was shifting rough so I took it back to the store that did the service, thinking it need a little more transmission fluid. (I had been there a few days prior, but they was too busy to check it.) My transmission dipstick is on the transmission itself, when my truck was pulled into the bay 3 of your techs looked for the dipstick, (ok no problem). I was informed that the transmission pan was loose and that the dipstick was torqued too tight and they couldn't get if off.
Next I was asked for my receipt to prove that I had the work done there. I did not bring it with me thinking all I needed it, I just wanted my fluid level checked, on Jiffy Lube. Checking their computer they was unable to find me showing that I had services done there and that I was a liar, I was told they did not do that type of services at that store and was sent to the store on Charleston to fix the problem. The Charleston store was able to fix the problem. When I got home I found my receipt showing that the score at 2020 East Sarah had indeed done the work. When I returned to the Sarah store with my receipt all my contact information on my truck was wrong and that is why I couldn't be found. If that is the way that Jiffy Lube does business I'm surprised that you are in business, I will not be doing business with you again.

Been occasionally going to a local Jiffy Lube in Freeport, IL. Generally the services have been performed OK and it's not really about how well they do their tasks. It's about how much they charge for doing those tasks. Like for example was charged $32 for a air filter which the same brand could be purchased at a local parts store for $18. Or how there is a $5 upcharge for a cartridge filter on a Chevy which fits a lot of current Chevy's. Or the $21 upcharge for semi-synthetic oil. You can easily walk out of a Jiffy Lube with a $100 oil change and not get $50 worth of products. You could go to a dealer and get by much cheaper which I am now doing.
I suspect plenty of people get ripped off by the upsells of a Jiffy Lube. I've seen plenty of expensive bulb changes, wiper blades, and trans flushes of which nobody should listen to a Jiffy Lube recommendation. These people are not technicians and should not be diagnosing problems and trying to fix them selling unneeded services. At best Jiffy Lube is a place to go in a pinch to get a basic oil change and decline all the other services. At least you walk out of there only $30 or so poorer. Believe me, I have learned my lesson and plan to only use a reputable service center that won't overcharge me for parts or basic inspections and fluids.
