Had an oil change at Jiffy Lube and the oil was clean after. So they decided to do that. I then checked my oil filter and they just wiped the old one down to make it look like it was replaced, but it was the same one that I went in there with. They never use that brand so I went from 99-100% sure that it was never replaced. I told the manager and to only his credit. He came back and told me his worker admitted he never changed it. I guess the extra couple of minutes to change the oil filter were too much for him. Unbelievable. Anyway, never again.

I took my car here for a routine oil change 3/08/2019. On Sunday 3/16/2019 I was on the highway and the hood flew open. Thankfully nothing happened to me or my daughter. I reported this to Jiffy Lube. ** the manager came out to inspect my vehicle. All he did was lift the hood, saw some rust and that the hood wasn’t lining up and said it wasn’t their fault! How can the hood line up when it was just flown open almost off the hinges? He then says it took my tech 3 tries to make sure the hood was secure because it kept popping up. I was not told this!
It’s their responsibility to inform customers of these things so this wouldn’t happen if I knew. I have 2800 bucks of damages and they don’t want to pay but will help me with my deductible if I file with my insurance which I’M NOT! This is your fault! Fix my car! Do not go here. They don’t care about their client’s safety. Do Not Trust JL on 3630 N. Elston Ave Chicago, IL 60618.

I recommended my friend go to Jiffy Lube in Norman OK to change the oil in her older Ford Explorer because of their advertised prices. When she went in she requested the cheap oil change $23.** and their response was "No problem". After performing the service and attempting to sell her a brake job and various other "services" they told her she owed $56.**... my friend is young and inexperienced in the way mechanics treat women so she paid and left.
When she told me what happened and how much they charged her I called and spoke with the manager, he defended his serviceman's actions and said she hadn't brought the requisite $30 off coupon to get that price. I protested their actions loudly and promised a scathing review but was answered with "It is what it is"... Lord have mercy... For some reason twenty minutes later the manager called me back and apologized asking if my friend could come back and get a refund. This was the right thing to do, however, how many people don't complain? How many people just roll over and say "It is what it is"? Shame on you Jiffy Lube!

I went into Jiffy Lube to get an oil change and tire rotation. The guy stripped my bolt then began yelling and saying awful things when I returned to report the damages. I went to tires plus to find out how much to replace the lug nut and oh my God! $125.00, I will never visit another jiffy lube as long as I live. That was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with from a car repair place.

I took my car to change the oil on the morning of March 11, 2019, at Jiffy Lube, 15121 Frederick Rd, Rockville-MD. After five minutes of analysis, the employee came to tell me that it was necessary to change the oil tank that was leaking. And that additional cost would be $100 for this service. There was no apparent leakage in the car, which was in the body shop recently. I did not accept the service. Half an hour after, I discovered the Jiffy Lube employee had lied. The oil exchange was done at a Shell near my house by an honest person who assured me that there was no hole in the oil tank. How long will these places treat women as ignorant misleading us that way? What a shame!

On 2-26-19 I had my oil change done at Jiffy Lube. I am a long time customer. Two days later my skid pan came off when I was driving. The technicians had failed to secure it. When I spoke to the area Manager, two different times, these are the memorable quotes. "When I fly on a plane I hope that the pilot can land the plane, that doesn't always happen." The second quote was "If someone wants to sabotage their own skid pan to get a free oil change then so be it." These are the kind of unprofessional and immature young men that represent this company. I should note that they eventually fixed the problem with a zip tie and some of the screws. Stay away at all cost. They are dangerous.

Went to get a brake job that Stefen had offered during a previous oil change. After informing me that the rotors would need to be replaced, IN TIME, he went ahead and replaced the pads as agreed. After one and a half months, I brought the car back for the store to fix the constant brake squealing that began after they replaced the pads. After again, informing me that the rotors would need to be replaced, IN TIME, Stefen informed me the brakes were fixed and that if the squealing persisted it should go away in a few weeks. After giving the benefit of the doubt, and allowing for a NUMBER of weeks for the squealing to go away, I ultimately went to AAMCO to have the brakes worked on properly. Granted, AAMCO resurfaced the rotors as well, but Jiffy Lube never informed me the rotors were of such immediate importance.
After contacting Jiffy Lube for reimbursement, and speaking with Stefen's manager Mike, they informed me that they would not reimburse my expense as I WAITED TOO LONG to address the matter. Waited too long? I first addressed it after only one and a half months or 45 days, well within normal warranties! Mike further stated that he had worked with Stefen for a number of years and that Stefen had no reason to lie that he had informed me of the importance of replacing the rotors immediately and that declining the replacement was against his advice. No reason to lie? How about covering his own **!
Essentially, this implied that I was the one that was lying! So much for customer service! This advice not only was not given to me at the time the job was done, neither the first nor second time, it was purely given to Mike in hindsight for purposes of CYA. Oh well, I can't force them to do something they don't want to do. But, I can advise to SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY if you are thinking of having your brakes done here. My wife ran into a similar brake issue with this store about 6 months ago that also went unfixed after an additional visit for them to remedy the mistake. Lo-and-behold, this also had no bearing with Mike. GO ELSEWHERE. You will likely be going elsewhere later anyhow. Save yourself the time and money!

Very dishonest personnel at the 7406 W Central Ave, Wichita, KS. Went in for an oil change with Jiffy Lube coupons for two cars. Called first asking if it would be honored for both car, providing year and make and whether coupons would be honored and was that the total cost per coupon. They assured me that the coupons would be honored for my two cars. Again, before taking the cars in, I was assured by the attendant that the coupons represented the cost.
After waiting over an hour and a half, the attendant comes out advising that the coupons would not be honored and the cost of the oil change would be at least double the coupon price since both cars held more than 5 quarts. I decided I was not going to be ripped off by their facility and left without any service. If they were honest up front, I would probably have had both cars serviced as I needed brakes as well. But since they lied by omission and attempted to defraud me, I would not ever go to any Jiffy Lube. While waiting in the waiting room, other customers were complaining that they were told that they needed additional services that they knew were not correct. STAY AWAY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN.

I went to Jiffy Lube today 2/11/2019 for an oil change because they list various other services included with this. The first on the list is they check transmission fluid. When they were finished and were reviewing what they did I asked if my transmission fluid was low. The man said he didn't know as they couldn't check it. When I asked why as it was included on their list he stated they can only check dip stick transmissions and my jeep has a cap and they don't have the equipment. Really? Maybe that should be posted that cannot check any Jeep tranny fluid. After I paid $50.96 cents for an oil change I now have to go to the mechanic to have tranny fluid checked and pay for that. Had I known this in advance I would have just had the mechanic change oil when checking tranny fluid and only had to pay once! Very Unhappy!!!

When I was there I noticed they called the Manager down under my car, given your only allowed to sit inside the lobby you can not hear or see what goes on. I finished up paid what I thought was too much and left, by the time I had driven 1 mile I could smell oil burning from under my car. I waited a couple days thinking it was nothing more than spilled oil, however, it did not stop so I took it back thinking maybe something was loose. I noticed he got my tag number and went back into my file and was typing, when he came out he said "I told you there was a leak under there, I even wrote it on the ticket!" When I told him there was NO Leak when I came here, he did NOT tell me there was any leak when I left I could see he was going to continue to lie so I left. I would NOT use this place for service of any kind!

I went to Jiffy Lube #780 on January 2, 2019 to get new wiper blades. While their the worker told me I'm due for an oil change also. I agreed to have the oil change also. The worker returned to the waiting room where I was at and informed me that my rear brakes are going bad. I informed him that I'll take care of that another day. The worker returned and told me that the air pressure was low in tires and that he'd fill them. When they were done with my car they moved it outside and then charged me $180.15. After paying the price I was given an invoice and my car key.
The invoice had the signature that I used on the credit card swipe machine transposed on it. I left and got into my car and noticed that the windshield was cracked. I informed the worker at Jiffy Lube and he said it cracked prior to service and that it's written on my invoice. I stated that it wasn't cracked when I drove my car to the Jiffy Lube shop and handed it over to them. I asked why wouldn't they mention it to me if it was cracked prior to service. The worker stated that their procedure is to document it on the invoice. This is the same invoice that they create after the service is done and is given to the customer after they pay the bill.

I changed my car batteries after advice from a Jiffy Lube associate even though the original battery did not have any major issue. There was a minor delayed cranking before the Car started that the associated attributed to a Battery issue. The original battery lasted 6 years and the car never had to be jump started. This new battery lasted only 1 year and 25 days. It had to be jump started twice after the 1 year mark. They install inferior batteries that only last the lifetime of the warranty and has only that much Acid inside to last that long. After the 1 year mark they do not support and just say Sorry. Absolutely no customer service for a dissatisfied customer. This happened at the Jiffy Lube at 300 W Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28117.

The top price rated for an oil change using synthetic, is a $70.00 service total. The most expensive antifreeze is about $14.00 a gallon,(which I had just serviced) but they said was low. The pricing I used above is including labor in most shops locally. We have been Jiffy Lube customers for years, but $109 service cost is a little steeper than what they used to charge, and they got the wife on using synthetic - instead of the mix which I prefer. Trust is the big factor for me, and I will be thinking twice before visiting Jiffy Lube again.

**UPDATE** JiffyLube Corporate Office based in Texas recently contacted me requesting me to e-mail them the invoices for the repair of my car and they sent me a check to reimburse my expenses.
I'd like to express my appreciation for D'Evelyn and Ron of JiffyLube Corporate office for settling my case and restoring some of my faith to JiffyLube. Of course, I would also extend my thanks and gratitute to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for mediating this process and also to Atty. Mike Sechrest who tried to contact the Gainesville JiffyLube franchise managers negotiating for the reimbursement, however, as expected the local franchise managers said there was nothing they could do but escalate my case to the corporate office, shame on them.
Upgrading my star-rating from one to two star.

I went for an oil change on 1/12/2019, everything seem to be ok when I drove the car home after that, however, couple of days after when I was driving on my way to work around 6am when it was still dark, I noticed that my car front lights were getting dimmer and to my horror they all went out and the steering wheel was getting harder to maneuver. I was very lucky that I did not figure in an accident and made my way to my office and half-way through the parking area my car totally died out.
Around 10am my colleagues who were knowledgeable with car mechanics helped me check what had happened with the car and found out that the hood pole melted on the positive transmission of the battery. Apparently, the Jiffy Lube guy who changed the oil on my car did not properly place the pole hood properly so when the car was running it was displaced and landed on the battery. I bought this car sometime June 2018 and never had issue with this car, I drove it from home to work and on one occasion to Orlando (130 miles from Gainesville) and I never had any problem. I contacted Jiffy Lube directly and told them what happened and after their manager took a look at the car they decided that it was not their fault since the pole hood holder was broken in the first place.
Now this claim is contentious because if it were broken before I brought the car to their service station I would have experienced this issue long time ago. Most likely what happened is the repair guy broke the pole hood holder while he was doing something with the car and did not advise me. Since they will not own up to their negligence or lend partial support to fix the issue I have filed an official complaint to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Currently checking with my lawyer due to life endangerment due to their lackluster service. Avoid going to Jiffy Lube if you can, there are other more reliable and competent service centers around. They will just leave you hanging in the air something happens to your car due to their negligence.

I arrived at Jiffy Lube to a seeming nice gentleman saying he would get my oil change done as soon as they could, this was the ONLY good experience from this facility. After telling them I only wanted a basic oil change this same gentleman proceed to argue with me about what I previously put into my car and how what I'm choosing to put in now isn't good for it... WELL THEN why do you offer that?!? Not only that but why would ANYONE pay over $40 for an oil change??
I really wish this was my only issue with Jiffy Lube but it isn't. After they were done the oil change they asked me to come out to discuss my level from the tests they ran... Tests which I did not ask for nor did I consent to them doing. According to them I needed a new battery, new windshield blades, new filters (with the whole song and dance about how it is bad for you and for your car), all my fluids were extremely low and my tires needed to be replaced... YOU ARE JIFFY LUBE NOT A TIRE PLACE.
At this point I am beyond annoyed and call my husband because all I wanted was a basic oil change. I explain what they are wanting me to pay for (knowing full well I will not be paying for any of that). He proceeds to tell the guy where to go and he shot back, "Well if your car breaks don't call us..." WHAT THE HECK?!? $60 later I can assure you I will not be back NOR will I ever recommend anyone to go to a Jiffy Lube. Moral of this review go to Canadian Tire, get the oil and a new filter and do it yourself..

My husband and I went to Jiffy Lube for a rear drum brake job, and left with misdiagnosed oversized drums, which they tried to blame on my master cylinder, and no hydraulic pressure, which I assumed was from the brake line that they cut. I picked up my car, and almost crashed in their parking lot. Took my car in for ONLY oil and filter change. As usual, I refused to purchase new air filter. As I wait, I notice several customers are getting new radiator caps. Radiator caps? That's strange. Then, manager shows me MY radiator cap. Says it failed their pressure test. Well they chose the wrong person to pull that trick on. I know cars, and I know radiator caps. And I knew my like knew radiator cap was not bad. They shrugged to indicate I was making a terrible mistake for not buying their new cap. After I left, I checked the radiator cap - it was fine and held pressure as it should. OK, maybe their test equipment was faulty and they were not aware. That is not likely. But otherwise, they were just scamming their customers.

I can only imagine the crap that females have to go through with pushy knuckle dragging salesman/mechanics...
Go to Midas instead. I told the Midas guy what happened and he said; "Oh no. We don't do that, we give you a list of what's wrong with your vehicle and it's up to you if you wanna fix it or not." Time in 8:30 am. I stopped in to have a couple exterior lights replaced, a tire rotation, windshield wipers replaced, and of course an oil change. After having four people doing what they do, oil changes. One comes to me and says they can’t change the bulbs on the top. I watched them try different screwdrivers Before the man came to talk with me. I said, "That’s fine I will change them myself. So now it’s windshield wipers, oil change, that hasn’t been finished yet, and a tire rotation.
The hood is down there cleaning and taking off their mats from my vehicle, so the oil change's done. One starts to change the windshield wipers. One starts the vehicle and looks around and says something isn’t working right. The light is still on, Another says oops I have to put this back on. OK I know what you’re thinking, at least they open the hood to put it back on, it’s orange in color and about an 1 1/2 long. I don’t mind. Good, good job for taking the initiative and reinstalling the part that was removed from my vehicle, thank you.
So now it’s this part and tire rotation. The young man cannot get it Reinstalled. As I’m watching and listening one sees that I am watching in stands between the glass in my vehicle with his back towards me as so I cannot see the struggle. He asks his boss for help and tells him that he can not get it screwed back on. His boss says OK, and never comes to help him or addressed the situation with him. 10 minutes later the hood goes down. His boss is billing somebody out. So I waited patiently for the customer to leave the building and I spoke up and asked the boss what was going on with my vehicle. There have been for guys trying to get on a part, what part was it that he is having trouble with? He said he was just about to go find out. I said thank you as he is going to walk out the door.
Then he turns to me and says, "You don’t need to talk to me that way. It is belittling! I was just about to go see what the problem is! Don’t talk to me like that!" And he literally turned around and got in my face, And then proceeded to say, "Talk to me like a man." Wow. I’m sorry. What, me asking a question about my vehicle while there are four young men trying to get something back on to my vehicle. If I wasn’t a business owner, I’m sure it would have played out a bit differently. I wouldn’t have waited for the customer to walk out of the building, I would have belittled him, I would’ve gotten back in his face when he raised his voice.
He comes back in 30 seconds later and says the snorkel to the air filter he couldn’t get back on. Then walks away quickly. I didn’t even have time to respond to it. Angie the cashier, she was pleasant with me. I think it’s time for Jiffy Lube to re-train or better yet train their staff on how to be, I don’t know honest, maybe how to have some integrity. So an oil change, windshield wiper blade and a Manager having horrible customer service. I still don’t know what the part was. I was quoted a price of $300, $100 for the service and $186.00 for the part. Right there was a red flag, wheel bearing/hub only cost $100-$129.99, but nonetheless I agreed to have the service performed.
I sat at that service station for a total of 6 1/2 hrs for them to come and tell me that they could not get the wheel bearing off and that they broke the grove of the bolt as well as my sensor while trying to get the wheel bearing & hub off. I was a lost for words and highly upset. I was told that they will fix my car free of charge. I was without my car the entire weekend. I missed work and had to cancel all scheduled appointments that I had. One of the mechanics had to drive me home, take me to work and pick me up. I got my car back on 11/5/18, and when I test drove my car to make sure that everything was ok, I heard a grinding noise while driving, and was told that it was my rotors, my car was NOT making that sound prior to me bring it to Jiffy Lube. They are very careless and incompetent, now my front lights are extremely dim and only one of the two come on.
I am very upset and will NEVER go back to Jiffy Lube, then the boss of the shop had the audacity to tell me to take my vehicle to a Nissan dealership and have them look at it... HUH??? They are a RIPOFF for sure. I advise ANYONE who need your car repaired DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE, THEY DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE, overpriced quotes for parts and do not want to accept the blame for their actions. That place is HORRIBLE. I do not recommend anyone to go to Jiffy Lube!!

I went to the Jiffy Lube on Wesel Blvd in Hagerstown, MD for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Shortly after leaving the service center I began to hear a grinding sound coming from my left tire (no sound before rotation service). When I called the Jiffy Lube to report the noise I was told to return the car and that the problem would be corrected or they would rotate my tires back to their original position on the car. When I took it back for correction I was told to take my car somewhere else to figure out the noise with proof that they caused the issue. They never even rotated my tires back to the original position as promised. I think they should simply stick to changing oil. Avoid this company whenever possible. Unprofessional and poorly trained.

Worst place to get your oil change since they have more excuses than solutions... And paying for your mistakes with money only works if you rarely make mistakes. I was going to them for my oil changes for years and trusted their judgement on my engine's condition, as well as trusted they knew what they were doing. Until one day I went to a real shop to investigate the Jiffy Lube claim to a transmission leak. Not only was the leak proven false by the real mechanic by mere color but the repeated visits to jiffy lube taught me they are not an honest business. Since I was made aware of the awful condition of my oil cap immediately at Firestone but never once at jiffy lube. I learned that I almost destroyed my engine because a bunch of unprofessionals could not be honest when they lose or destroy parts on my car.
The Tumwater store is so excuse filled that when I pointed out to the store manager, Who was ripping apart the bag I had to carry my destroyed oil cap when it had an opening for that already, He immediately claimed it was a jab at his disability. And that is the store manager, ready with excuses to why I should not be mad at a huge mistake that would of blown my engine if not addressed. Instead he has a hook so I must be picking on him by their logic and not pointing out the awful approach to the bag itself let alone my car!
It WAS a jab at their approach to auto care at their shop since the bag was not sealed shut in any way and yet he was merely destroying the bag without looking at it to see the large opening the bag came with...! Seriously, they even destroyed my bag for transporting the oil cap they destroyed! No transmission leak was found but a value needing replacing that has no red liquid at all that could be mistaken for transmission fluid..
After they failed to put my windshield cap on the before that...but they did asked if it worked still the next visit because they couldn't find it l but knew I only want to them.. Firestone is where I went and received proper honesty. Even when they made their own errors, it was followed with great service that is expected from true adults. (360) 943-8601. I went to the Jiffy Lube on Greentree Road in Pittsburgh and paid for the service package that included an oil change and a tire rotation. The invoice indicated that all of the work for which I had paid had been completed. However, when I got home, I noticed that the tire which was missing a wheel cap before I took my car in for the tire rotation was still in the same place on the car, reflecting the fact that a tire rotation was not actually performed, even though they claimed that it was. This, quite simply, is FRAUD! Their deceit also causes excess and uneven wear on the tires, which is the reason why you should get your tires rotated in the first place. If you believe that this service has actually been done, then you ignorantly continue to drive around, prematurely wearing out those same tires that you were trying to protect. It was only because I happened to be missing this wheel cap that I noticed the situation.
I can only imagine how many other times I, or any of Jiffy Lube's other customers, have paid for a service that was never actually performed. And who knows WHAT service they claim to do which doesn't actually get done? Do we really know if fresh oil is being added... or if that new air filter which they claimed was necessary truly was?
Years ago, at a different Jiffy Lube, after paying for a similar service, one of my wheels LITERALLY fell off the car about 200 yards from the service center after I left from there. Needless to say, that incompetence could have had a tragic ending. (But at least they began the process of performing the tire rotation... setting aside that forgetting to tighten the lug bolts thing.) Years later, I gave a different Jiffy Lube location another chance, thinking that my experience was probably a rarity. (By the way, I couldn't give the same Jiffy Lube location another chance because... wouldn't ya know... they went out of business.)
When I spoke to the manager at the Jiffy Lube to tell him that my tires were not rotated, even though they had claimed that they were, he offered to providefor "free" the service that I had already paid for, if I brought my car back in. How wonderful... that they are willing to have me inconvenience myself by bringing my car back to them so they can perform for "free" the service for which I had already paid, and which was fraudulently not performed. I am not one who typically writes negative reviews. If I'm not happy, I simply take my business elsewhere. But in the case of Jiffy Lube, after (at least) twice having experienced potentially criminal "service" of different types, I felt it to be my civic duty to write a review that lets the readers know about the type of business that they'd be dealing with if they go to Jiffy Lube.

Trying to stay out of Jiffy Lube, after bad experiences (oil leak, soiled spots in the car else) but recently had to use one near my house on my way to work at 9630 Medlock Bridge Rd (near Waffle House) Duluth, GA 30097. Earlier this year replaced filter and air filter. After I left in the mid-way to work the engine begin making loud banging noise with every accelerator pedal push, dropped the power. I manage to slowly drive to my mechanic shop who found the rubber tube of the filter housing off the engine air intake (I have RAV4 2011). Simple thing, they did not secure the rubber tube on the inlet and it came off. I did not charge any complaints.
Few months after that, pressed on time I had to stop by the same location on my way to work to do another scheduled oil change. The same crew, young black girl, lovely and smiling was acting as a manager and few young guys, mechanics around. I had my doubts but did not have an alternative. After work was done I wanted to ask "manager" girl on the quality and any issues, mention my last experience with them and whether the same person worked on my car. However, her personal cell phone went off and she grabbed it and stepped out for more important conversation.
I left the place. The oil began dripping next day, but more and more with the days, so I returned. After mechanic inspected the leak, which was coming directly from the filter, she came to me and announced that it was an "original manufacturer's gasket" that was found broken and now will be replaced. When I ask what original gasket, and should the gasket come with the filter, she said she has no idea and that's what mechanic said to her. After that went out dancing, practicing some moves outside (lovely girl!) I insisted talking to a mechanic who actually found what was wrong, and he showed to me the O-ring that was jammed by the thread. I thanked him for honesty and not ** me and left.

The guy I spoke with told me that both front and back brake pads need to be replaced and that it would cost $530. He even suggested me to go to my credit union and ask to put this on credit as I didn't have money to fix it. I didn't want to put this on credit as I'm not able to afford it. Also, I'm a petite woman in her 30's and they were also trying to sell me the best quality oil but for expensive. They wanted the money then and there. I told them that I have to make some calls and see what I could do and that I would let them know.
I ended up talking to my guy friend and my bishop and they both told me that brakes shouldn't cost that much and just get the oil change. My friend told me that he would fix my brakes for cheaper. The brakes were $70 for both front and back and for the labor $20 an hour. He also told me that he could build brakes for how much they are selling me for the brake pads.
Today my friend fixed my brakes and told me that it was just the front brakes not the back. When he came to get me at work I saw my car and it ran just like new. He also said that he would recommend Jiffy Lube to people he doesn't like and was saying not to go there to me. I'm grateful for my guy friend who was willing to take the time to fix my brakes and be honest with me.
I would never recommend anyone to go here and if there were a rating lower than a 1 star I would rate it like that. The mechanics there only want your money and will take advantage of you even when you can't afford it. In my own opinion, they saw a petite woman who doesn't know much with cars and tried to take advantage of her.

On April 27th, 2018, we brought our car into Jiffy Lube in Beaverton to have the brake pads checked. We were told the rear brake pads were in great condition, but the front brake pads needed to be replaced and the brake fluid in the front of the car flushed. We also had our oil changed and all other recommendations by the jiffy lube staff completed that day. Less than two months later our brakes were making noises again. We brought the car back in to the same Jiffy Lube on 7-20-18 and were told that the rear brake pads were in such poor condition they were basically metal on metal. Jiffy Lube staff were able to tell us this without even taking the wheels off of our vehicle and gave us a repair estimate of $500. We explained that the rear brake pads were fine in April and we were apologized to and given coupons for oil changes.
I called to speak to a manager that same day to discuss reimbursement for the damage to our brake pads and was yelled at by the manager. He then told me we “probably couldn’t afford to have all four brake pads done at the same time” and that’s why our rear brakes were now in such poor condition. He also said he didn’t work at that location at the time of our repairs so he didn’t know. He said he would have another manager call me. An hour later, Deandre called me, profusely apologized and promised that someone from corporate would call me within the hour. If I didn’t receive a phone call, he assured me I could call him back. I never received a phone call. When I called him back, I spoke to a staff member who told me Deandre was taking his second lunch of the day and would not be returning. I never received any return calls.
On 7/21/18 we took our car into Brake Lodge. After inspecting it, they found that our rotors were damaged and our calipers had frozen due to brake fluid not being flushed and brake pads not being replaced. The repairs cost $602. I called Jiffy Lube and spoke to Ted who told me I was not telling the truth about the services I received at Jiffy Lube on April 27th. After calling me a liar, Ted rudely told me to bring in my Brake Lodge invoice and nothing would probably come of it. He refused to give me the number of someone else I might speak to. We brought our paperwork into Jiffy Lube on July 27th and I received a phone call from the regional manager of Jiffy Lube.
Again, I had a conversation that can only be described as unprofessional and borderline rude. I was told that he tried to check camera footage of the day of April 27th but found nothing and there was nothing he could do. After a few minutes, he refused to speak to me or answer my questions. I was told his boss was out of town and would get back to me when he could. We eventually submitted a complaint with the BBB, but Jiffy has refused to make things right.

Now the state inspector told me I needed tires and headlight restoration only brakes had passed no problem. A non-state inspector ** at Jiffy Lube tells me a certified state inspector did not do his job correctly and I needed brake immediately.
I have been a loyal customer of Jiffy Lube for decades so I trusted their employees to be honest people. So I scheduled an appt. for the brakes to be serviced, I get there and an older employee tells me that my brakes ARE NOT in the red zone but yellow zone and would pass inspection no problem. That’s why the certified inspector did not fail me for brakes. I will never again go to Jiffy Lube, its employees like ** who lie to loyal customers and try to steal your money for services that are not needed at the time. I do plan to tell everyone I know not to go to a car service facility (Jiffy Lube) where employees lie in order to make money. Without any regard for their loyal customers and being honest with them, they only care about the money and profit. In this day where competition for your business is high I will pay more for honesty than dealing with a liar when it comes to my car being serviced.
Day 2... So today the District Mgr ** calls me to insult me saying that he was not concerned about what I experienced. Because he perceived, he perceived. This district manager lacked customer service skills and is not qualified to resolve issues. That is a big problem when the whole management team lacks integrity, and the skills to resolve liars, and cheats in their organization. I would never go to Jiffy Lube for service. I barely left their property and it jerked and shook seriously. I called back immediately and was told to bring it back in. On 04/08/2018 I brought it in and waited another 4 hours. This time the tech was working under the hood. The other one worked under the car. Almost forgot on the way there something fell out from under my car.
They still could not fix my car. Me and one of the techs had a heated discussion about me getting my money back. He started telling me about a lot of things was wrong with my car, which wasn’t true. He told me it was my transmission, starter and that I needed a tuneup. I asked him to put required work needed on a Jiffy Lube paper, he said he couldn’t do it. I asked, "Why not, you just diagnosed problems with my car." I called the police because I wanted all the money I spent on a job they’re not qualified to do. He only wanted to give me some back. Now my car won’t start unless I turn the ignition and press the gas at the same time. They damaged my car. Will be calling corporate in the morning.

They don't care about your car, only getting a paycheck. They put the wrong oil in my car (I use synthetic) and then broke the cover to my air filter, neither times did they tell me about it. I will never go back.
Updated review: April 14, 2018
After some research, I learned that the amount I was charged for the oil change was typical for the North Idaho area (I'm from Oregon where we're spoiled by much lower oil change costs). I checked into the repair costs of the broken housing (it was only a clip on the casing that was broken), and found out that fixing the broken part would cost nearly $200 at the Toyota dealership. It was then that I realized that the dealership should be the one I was writing the negative review for! What they were charging was insane and I refused their services.
I wrote back to the Jiffy Lube owner and said there would be no need to accept any of his generous offers. My daughter said she is fine with leaving the air filter housing as it is since it does not appear that the broken clip will cause any problems with the function of the air filter itself. The owner of the Jiffy Lube spoke to his employees and I think all has been settled nicely now. This is one business owner that was willing to bend over backwards to make his customers happy. I now thank him and hope others on this site will have a happy ending like me! :o)

This was my first time to Jiffy Lube in Hayden, Idaho (4/02/2018 @10:13 am). Someone greeted me outside and took the car into the bay. I went into the empty waiting area. No one was at the desk. I waited alone at the desk for 5 minutes. Finally, a serviceman came in with the oil cap, and two dusty filters and laid them on the counter then tells me the car must have synthetic oil put in it. It was my daughter's car, and she had specifically told me to put in "regular" oil. I explained this to him. He argued. I texted my daughter and told her what he told me. She said to tell them to put in regular oil. I turned the phone around so he could see the screen. He took the phone from my hand and started to text her back, but couldn't spell "manufacturer" so gave up and gave me back my phone. Then said he would have to make a note on the invoice. I didn't even have a chance to find out how much they charged before they started.
For the oil change ONLY, it came to $51.77! Thank God I had coupon, but I still paid $44.11! It was too late to change my mind. I didn't notice the last line on the note they wrote on the invoice until I got home. It said "Air firlter housing broken on arrrival" (misspellings are his). What?? They never said a word about a broken air filter housing! I immediately texted my daughter and asked if her air filter housing was broken before I brought the car in? She said, 'No it was not broken and that they probably did it because they were mad'. Very poor service. Very poor communication. Possibly dishonest workers. Way over-priced. Never going there or to ANY Jiffy Lube ever again.

I had my oil changed and they must have let a bolt or seal lose and now I am trying to buy an engine. I had contacted Jiffy about this issue and they turned the issue backed to me. I made the mistake of letting someone take the oil pan off before speaking with Jiffy, BIG MISTAKE! Regardless, they did not tighten the oil pan correctly and the oil leaked out and it caused my engine to blow!!!

I was charged $150 dollars to replaced the motor mount, but to my disappointment they replaced motor mount and car drove rough and bounce like a ball, I went to a real mechanic and got issue fixed. If I have the choice of a worst rating (like zero stars) I would do it.

RIPOFF! (store # 2530) 11965 SE 82nd Ave Happy Valley, OR 97086. I am a senior 84 years old, I have had oil changes at this particular address for several years (price then was $15.95 for regular change of oil). Fairly recently I was in for an oil change, and was informed the PRICE was now $25.00, after examining the mileage I was informed I did not need an oil change, and was told to come back in when the mileage was met. I thought was very good of the serviceman to inform me. That was 2 months ago January-2018. Today March 12th/2018 I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, and was informed that the price would be $45.00. This I accepted simply because I was there!
I also informed the serviceman that I would like coolant added to my working air conditioner, the serviceman noted this, and informed me that the price for that was $80.00, again I accepted, and at the same time I felt I was being RIPPED OFF! At this time they had not touched my vehicle after being in the bay for 45 minutes! Again the serviceman appeared at my vehicle window, and informed me that the COOLANT charge was now $100.00, with a bunch of MUMBO JUMBO! At this time was becoming quite agitated, but again TIRED, and not feeling well. I again accepted the price just to get it over with! Again after another 30 minute wait, and still NOTHING DONE for my vehicle!
The serviceman reappeared at my window, and INFORMED ME THE PRICE WAS NOW $200.00, this was the straw that broke this almost a sucker's back! This IS A USED CAR LOT WAY OF DOING Business. I refused the serviceman's price of $200.00, and then was asked how much was I willing to pay for the coolant, still not one thing had been done to my vehicle. This was when I informed the serviceman that I would take my business elsewhere! I was then directed out of the bay with not too happy looks, they had just lost a potential sucker! I INTEND TO INFORM, AND POST ONLINE. DO NOT FRATERNIZE THIS RIPOFF JIFFY LUBE AT (store # 2530) 11965 SE 82nd Ave Happy Valley, OR 97086. Talk about greed. This business coined the WORD!

When I got home I checked the vehicle over once again and found that my front skid plate was missing hardware. I then called to confront the store and was asked to come back in. The manager resolved the issue but it caused a complete inconvenience to me by wasting my time and making me come twice to the store. The manager was not willing to compensate me for my time and inconvenience and still asked me to pay for the service that they failed to execute properly.

Charged me ten dollars for on the spot renewal without asking if I would like them to. Miserable to do business with, in it for their money and nothing about your convenience. Charged $48.00 for emissions only, I don't know the going rate but that seemed very high to plug my 2016 Sonata in for five minutes.

Overdue for an oil change, and not having the time to wait at the dealer or even a place like Firestone. I went to the Fairhaven, MA location, 2/22/18, on my way home from work, as the location is right around the corner. When I arrived an employee came out and said, "Get out and leave it running." I said, "Excuse me," she replied, "I will bring it in," my response was, "No you can direct me in." The "manager" said it's company "policy" "we drive in you drive it out". So I agreed. He drove it in.
I went through the waiting area and opened the door to the shop, and said, "I would like to sit in my car." "Manager" response was, "That is what the waiting room is for." I said, "Excuse me... I frankly don't trust "you" not saying "you" will steal anything, but I want to keep an eye in what is going on, and don't want to checking things that I did not ask to be looked at." "Manager" response was, "It's company policy that you remain in waiting area, we will come tell you what you need and we will check what we want." He then proceeded to say..., "Because you said that you don't trust us, I refuse to service your car. Leave!"
I said, "Are you serious, because I am more comfortable sitting in my car in an "Instant Oil Change" business than a "waiting room" like a dealership/"Firestone" and that I don't trust you are not going to recommend services that don't actually need to be done or were not asked for. Since when has it been the policy that I can't sit in my car," he and three others said, "Like 3 years!" My reply was, "It must have just changed since the last time I was in," because that was about 3 years ago and I was allowed to sit in my car. Needless to say I did as they said and left!
Now I will further this as it relates to another Jiffy Lube location going back about 12 years ago. Went in for an oil change, topside tech did his checks... not completely paying attention but close enough, I say him pop the air filter box and open the cabin air filter panel then presented me with both of them. They were black and disgustingly dirty. He recommended that I replace them! I replied, "There is NO way those are from my car." He said, "I assure you they are." "Nope. Sorry those are not mine. I have K&N air filters and I actually just cleaned them that past weekend. I can show you what mine look like if you like," and started to get out. He responded with, "Ok we won't change the air filters then."

I was in the Cincinnati area visiting my mother on February 2, having driven from Mount Gilead, north of Columbus. My 1995 Mercedes S320 was overdue for an oil change, so I took the vehicle to Jiffy Lube on Cooper Road in Blue Ash, Ohio. The entire Jiffy Lube staff provided excellence in service throughout the visit. They changed the oil and also added antifreeze, which was a good bit low. In addition they replaced a burned out headlight.
Next, they brought me the old air filter and it clearly needed replaced, being full of dirt and feathers. The air filter was ordered so that it would arrive the next morning. I came back around noon and learned that because the vehicle is somewhat of an older model, the parts depot didn't have one in stock. So the office manager by the name of Earl arranged for the part to be available for installation closer to my home in Mount Gilead. He was very professional and courteous, even making the effort to follow-up later with a phone call to make certain that I would be able to get the air filter installed at the Jiffy Lube store nearest to my location.
Earl also explained each charge on the bill and applied a discount where appropriate. It is refreshing to have had such a positive experience, and be sent away with a better running vehicle as the result of exemplary service during the entire visit. There should be more professionals like Earl, who exhibits integrity, consideration, and care for customer satisfaction. As a result, I would recommend Jiffy Lube to anyone I meet.

One of the service guy went to the driver and stated very frantically that he had scarred my vehicle on the passenger side lower bottom. So when the driver started to come back in to complete the emission he squirms around trying to avoid coming back in the way he went out so that I wouldn't see the damage that was done.
I immediately ask what happened and everyone just froze inside of the bay area. I suggested, "Well did he forget to put the emission sticker on?" I repeatedly asked that and one of the service guy repeatedly stated that no it wasn't that. I been going to this location since 2002 getting service on another Chevy Malibu and never had any problem so it didn't prompt me to think that anything was wrong like this to my vehicle. I immediately call and spoke to Mike that didn't seem to be concerned. He didn't even ask my name or what type of vehicle. He just told me to call back on Friday to speak to the general manager Tim. Jiffy Lube (Lawrenceville and Grayson, GA.) has issues with causing oil leaks after they do an oil change. I own a 2017 Hyundai and have had my oil changed on three occasions where it resulted in an oil leak in my garage. Twice it was a result of the oil plug being replaced incorrectly and most recently with a "faulty oil filter". In addition, when my car was brand new, they got oil on the visor and cloth ceiling. They fix it every time but it causes unnecessary/time consuming revisits and oil on my garage floor. I will no longer be a customer of Jiffy Lube. Strike 3, you are out! I will go to the Dealer!

It seems this company is more interested in gouging you out of your money than providing honest service. Jiffy Lube was not always like that. When they first started out or when I first started going there, there was nobody trying to hard-sell you on additional services you didn't need. You got your oil change for the $39.99 they advertised then you left. Now the basic oil change costs $69.99 and not only that, you never know what type of oil you are getting. The other day I went to a Jiffy Lube for a basic oil change and when I left I was not really impressed by how my car was behaving. Usually I can tell if my car is running better or not, but when I left that Jiffy Lube I could not tell the difference.
As soon as you get into a Jiffy Lube these days, the clerks there rush you into some waiting room without getting much info on what you really need. Out of sight, they are able to do what they want with your car. When I looked at the receipt, Jiffy Lube had poured some "out-of-season" winter oil in my car in the middle of the summer! I drove the car like that for about 2 weeks until I finally stopped at a gas station, bought me a pint of oil and poured it into the car. The difference was like night and day. Now my car drove quietly like it was supposed to. I doubt if I'll ever visit this Jiffy Lube again. For $69 they can do better than that!

I went to Big O tires in Roy Utah. They assured me all my tires were fine. Second time my gas cap was bad so I went and bought a new one and threw the old one in the trunk, good thing I did I had it tested by another safety licensed shop. IT WAS FINE!!! The third time my passenger side wiper had a centimeter tear on the end. Of course they offered to fix it. The last time in they failed me saying my brake pads on the rear are too worn down, so I had them replaced, not at Jiffy Lube! The shop said they were only half way worn!!! The other thing is the guy before me also failed because his engine mount was worn???
When I confronted the employee about my brakes he said nothing other than he goes by the book, if so why were my brakes bad and I also asked him how many cars he failed that day. He said 2 of 14. So it was the guy before me and me that supposedly failed, and it was 5:30 pm. Ya right!! I wish someone would take these guys to court and have their records checked to see how many they fail in a day. I went to Jiffy Lube located on Coors Road SW Albuquerque NM. I told them my brakes were squeaking. If they could check them. A man came back promptly and said that I needed new brake pads. I said ok and trusted them. It would take 3 hours, so I walked across the street with my kids to eat. When they were done it was also closing time. I drove off and soon after come to find my brakes were still squeaking. I thought maybe because of the new brakes. But the noise did not stop. I call Jiffy Lube and say I'm taking back my car because the squeaking is still there. When I drive up this supervisor comes out, I tell him I called and why I'm there. He immediately says "Oh, I remember this car. Your brakes were squeaking because of too much grease." I said "Well that's new. No one told me that when I came. If that was the problem then what did I pay $200 for?" I asked.
This other guy pulls my car intakes off my front brakes, he walks up to me and say "Your problem is hairline fractures in the front brakes, but it's perfectly safe," he said. So I ask him "Are those my original brakes I came in with," he said "Yes". That they don't carry those brake pads, theirs are ceramic. I asked, "So my front brakes were not fixed." He said "NO". I go back inside and pull out my receipt I signed for, and asked the supervisor why were my front brakes not done when my receipt says front brake repair $200. He laughed and said "Awww we made a mistake. Your back brakes needed repair." So I say, "Oh ok, so you guys just get to fix whatever you think is needed." I paid for my front. Not to mention I didn't even need front brakes either. He tried to say I went into the area where they fix the cars, which I never did. I said "Pull out your recordings. I never went in there, you guys never came to show me nothing, I took your word for it."
He then said "Oh, you walked around our parking lot." I said "Ok, and what, am I suppose to know what you know." I then told him, "First you said it was because of too much grease on my front brakes when I pulled up with my complaint, then this other guy that obviously wouldn't lie for you comes to me and showed me it was hairline fractures in my front brakes. I then told him 'You never really checked my brakes did you?' Because you just lied about the problem when I first pulled up. I said 'You didn't even check the brakes did you???'" The store Manager calls me 4 days later and admits they did not look at my brakes properly and apologies, that they just looked at them while still on and assumed. But it still don't count for me paying for front brakes and I still have my original brake pads. The store Manager tells me they made a mistake and if I take my car back in they will do my front brakes.
For one, I feel cheated, taken advantage of because I'm a woman. Two, if the squeaking was coming from the front brakes because of hairline fractures but my brakes are good, they should have told me the truth. I don't have $200 Just to spend. If the noise and the brakes were bad, well ya, but they should have given me that option if I wanted them changes. Three, my signed receipt says I paid for front brakes, it's not my fault if they made a mistake and did the wrong ones. Four, How can any company just say "Sorry, we made a mistake but you did need back brakes." These people just can't fix something and say "Sorry you needed it and you got to pay now." Because that was what the store Manager said to me. Was "Sorry, but your back brakes were at 10%." But the supervisor admitted they were at 50%.
All they have done is lie, a lie after a lie trying to justify what they did. But their lies disprove one other. When I noticed my brakes were still squeaking I went there prepared and video recorded all their lies. The store Manager said the only thing I can do is to take my car back and they will do my front brakes. But I got to pay for the brake pads. I said "I ain't dishing out more money, and won't go back." He said that's all he can do. Meanwhile I paid for front brakes they didn't fix, I'm still having to use my car, the other guy said my brakes are safe. They won't return my money so I can go get them fixed if I choose to.
I AM NOT GOING TO LET THIS GO. IF ANYONE READS THIS AND HAS ANY THOUGHTS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO. CONTACT ME AT **. I have four small kids. I can't just keep it my car parked because they won't reimburse me. All I can do is hope my brakes are safe as the tech claimed. Maybe they ain't all liars. Maybe go and protest is a thought of mine, with my videos to all their customers. A friend said that Jiffy Lube was investigated by Barker And was on the news. They sent in a woman with a camera, and they did the same thing. They told her things were wrong and needed fixing when it didn't. And also just found out, they get a commission when they do extra repairs or sell extra parts. I didn't know that. I will not give up and will file a small claims judgment on them. Will continue to post my story.

A month has passed and is now May 25 and is time for another oil change. I was near mechanic shop so I decided to stop and have the mechanic look at my vehicle. While the mechanic is doing the regular maintenance and since I only came for a oil change the mechanic told me is also time for my transmission fluid to be change. I denied the service and told him I just had my transmission fluid change in April. I asked the mechanic how long does it take for the transmission fluid to be change and the mechanic told me it takes about 1 - 2 years. That is when I said "ok well I just had it done". The mechanic showed me how the the transmission fluid looks now and how it should look when the fluid is fresh. Since is been a month it will not be as pink but a little pink. However in my case the fluid had a smell and was a really dark brown color.
I drove to Jiffy Lube in Rockville asked for store manager and employees there would not give me no explanation or contact information of the manager. Since no one was able to help me I told the employees that I will contact Consumer Affairs if no one is not able to help me. After 10 min arguing back and forth an employee contacted Greg on her personal phone. Greg agreed to met me at Jiffy Lube on May 25 at around 5:30 pm. At 5:45 pm I told the employee if Greg is still coming and that 5:30 pm had passed. The employee called Greg and Greg response was he was on his way but had to pick up his child. I told the employee that I also had personal errands and he agreed on a time that he will be available.
On May 26 around 10:30 am I received a phone call from Greg to discuss about car issue. I told him my issue can't be spoken over the phone and prefer to do so in person. When can we met? I told him. We agreed on May 26 at 4:30 pm. Greg arrived on time and his 1st concern was who told me and where are they located. Not asking "let me look at your car" or none of that. I told him that his 1st concern should have been let me look at your oil and see if they actually did the job wrong. After 5 min going back and forth I told him I wanted a refund to take my car somewhere else but he refuse and walked away. After that I knew we would go nowhere. Since then I have not heard back from Jiffy Lube.

May 10, 1917 went to Yelm, WA. Jiffy Lube for an oil change. Arrived home to a phone message saying that they had an issue with my drain plug and that I needed to call them. Called and was told that there was an issue with my drain plug and they needed to check it. Thank goodness I checked my oil level before I went back because I had no oil. I was upset, this could have ruined my engine. I added oil and went back to Jiffy Lube. Was told that there was a cracked gasket on the drain plug. They refilled my car with oil and fixed the problem with the drain plug which they blamed on whoever did the last oil change.
Got home to another call from Jiffy Lube asking me to come back the next day so the manager could recheck my car. I couldn't make it the next day but did the day after. I was told a whole different story on the cause of the problem by the manager, again blamed on the previous oil change. The manager was so rude!!! Some of his comments were "You're still talking", "You didn't change oil yourself did you, I didn't think so" and when I complained to him about his rudeness he told me I was being rude to him. Scares me how I would have been treated if my engine was ruined.

When I told them not to clean out my truck, they got a attitude about it, but I intend to do something about this, but JIFFY LUBE WILL NOT GET BUSINESS FROM ME AGAIN. My truck was shifting rough so I took it back to the store that did the service, thinking it need a little more transmission fluid. (I had been there a few days prior, but they was too busy to check it.) My transmission dipstick is on the transmission itself, when my truck was pulled into the bay 3 of your techs looked for the dipstick, (ok no problem). I was informed that the transmission pan was loose and that the dipstick was torqued too tight and they couldn't get if off.
Next I was asked for my receipt to prove that I had the work done there. I did not bring it with me thinking all I needed it, I just wanted my fluid level checked, on Jiffy Lube. Checking their computer they was unable to find me showing that I had services done there and that I was a liar, I was told they did not do that type of services at that store and was sent to the store on Charleston to fix the problem. The Charleston store was able to fix the problem. When I got home I found my receipt showing that the score at 2020 East Sarah had indeed done the work. When I returned to the Sarah store with my receipt all my contact information on my truck was wrong and that is why I couldn't be found. If that is the way that Jiffy Lube does business I'm surprised that you are in business, I will not be doing business with you again.

Been occasionally going to a local Jiffy Lube in Freeport, IL. Generally the services have been performed OK and it's not really about how well they do their tasks. It's about how much they charge for doing those tasks. Like for example was charged $32 for a air filter which the same brand could be purchased at a local parts store for $18. Or how there is a $5 upcharge for a cartridge filter on a Chevy which fits a lot of current Chevy's. Or the $21 upcharge for semi-synthetic oil. You can easily walk out of a Jiffy Lube with a $100 oil change and not get $50 worth of products. You could go to a dealer and get by much cheaper which I am now doing.
I suspect plenty of people get ripped off by the upsells of a Jiffy Lube. I've seen plenty of expensive bulb changes, wiper blades, and trans flushes of which nobody should listen to a Jiffy Lube recommendation. These people are not technicians and should not be diagnosing problems and trying to fix them selling unneeded services. At best Jiffy Lube is a place to go in a pinch to get a basic oil change and decline all the other services. At least you walk out of there only $30 or so poorer. Believe me, I have learned my lesson and plan to only use a reputable service center that won't overcharge me for parts or basic inspections and fluids.

Getting ready for a road trip, I went to have my oil changed. I had never had any issues with this vehicle before. After my oil was changed, I was driving home. Approximately 5 miles down the road, my vehicle made a horrible noise and I had to pull over. I contact my husband who came to help me. We then contacted the Jiffy Lube center that I had my oil changed at to let them know something had just happened. They sent one of their technicians and a manager down.
They arrived within 15 minutes after our call. They brought along a filter, more oil and tools. The technician got on the ground to check underneath. There was oil on the ground but the technician stated that a rod had been "thrown" and had punctured the oil pan. The manager pulled my oil stick and there was still a lot of oil on the stick (reading high up on the stick). They stated that it must have been an engine issue and there was nothing wrong with the service I received from them. I had the vehicle towed and salvaged b/c it was going to cost too much to have a new engine put in. (This was after a week of calling several places to try and have it fixed.)
A few weeks later, another man I worked with was talking to me and I mentioned the issue I had. He stated that the same exact thing happened to a relative of his. He said that if there was oil on the ground and still a lot of oil in the reservoir, then they must not have drained the old oil out and it over-pressurized and caused it to "throw" a rod. Unfortunately it was too late to prove anything on our end but seeing as it had happened to more than just me, at the same Jiffy Lube, I will never bring my vehicle back there to be serviced and I will warn others.

Looked in the work area to no avail. Attendant said cap might not have ever been on the truck. I asked to see or talk with a manager. Talked to Adam ** who promised he'd look at security photos to see if the cap was on the truck when it came in. He's not been available since. I've e-mailed him three times. No response.
The caps were original caps and had been on the truck for more than 150,000 miles. I take it in for a tire rotation and all of a sudden I'm minus two rear caps. The front caps were improperly installed and would have fallen off had I not pulled them off and put them inside the truck. Really sloppy work and a truly dishonest attitude. Really a shame. The first time a few month ago they told me I needed additional services and I trusted them and accepted them. I took. I went there yesterday and they did the same thing. They charged me $94.99 for the oil change, synthetic oil where at Acura I paid $59.95. Then they told me I needed a radiator flush for $109.99 and added fluid for another $39.99. I only have 22,000 miles on the vehicle. I went to the Acura dealer and they told me I DID NOT need a flush & coolant and that was way too much for an oil change. I did not need an air filter with only 22,000 miles.
I then Googled jiffy lube only to learn that many other people had the same problem. One guy sent his son to have his oil changed and the son came home with almost $700.00 worth of work done on his car. I will never go back to Jiffy Lube again. Beware, maybe just kids and women that they do this to? I would suggest you check the blogs on this location, this happens often there. I have always given Jiffy Lube at Salem NH high compliments until they changed managers. You can check my records and you will see that I have gone here faithfully for may years. I change my air filters both engine and cabinet before I get an oil change. I brought in my 2009 Toyota for its routine synthetic oil change and they showed me a dirty air-filter that had pine needles and leaves in it. Bit confused I told them to change it and cabinet filter was also dirty - I then later the same day I brought my 2011 Toyota for an oil change this time making sure that the filters were clean and they were. There must have been a change again in management someone else was there. Again they took out my filters and they brought me back a dirty cabin filter and the same filter with pine needles and leaves in it. But I knew that air filter would not fit in the 2011.
I asked them if they finished the oil change and they said that they were in the middle of it. I asked them to complete it first before changing the filters. They did and I asked the manager to step outside with me to the car. They said I could not go in because of some kind of regulation, but yet we have to go through there to get out. I told them to open the the overhead door where my car was. They did. Standing outside I asked them to put the filter that they showed me back in the car (See at that time I owned a 2009 corolla and a 2011 Camry which take total different filters) and told them to put it in the car. It did not fit. Actually I don't think it would have fit my corolla either.
I told the manager that I have been coming here for years. There use to be a tall, slanky, bearded manager that the customers loved including myself. He was gone hopefully he was promoted. Needless to say - Since the Summer of 2015 I did not go back. I did take my 2015 jeep there in 2016 and decided I was not doing that anymore either. I went to Jiffy Lube located at 322 W Main St, Branford Ct for a oil change. A hour after I received the oil my car started smoking; it continued the next day as well then it stopped for a week. Two days ago my car started smoking again as well as the following day. I looked under the hood and seen oil splattered all over my engine. I called Jiffy Lube to let them know they have caused a problem and I need it fixed, he told me to come in for a new oil change or a refund. I arrive and they said it is not the oil change. It is my radiator lining. I made it very clear "I never had a smoking car problem until after I left from receiving my oil change". Of course they try to say it was not their fault. So now I had a busted radiator due to the amateur mechanics at Jiffy Lube who messed up my car. I will NEVER go there again.

Needless to say who knows what they spilled on there is. Had to take my truck and get it washed. When I had brought to the supervisor attention his reply was "yeah it happens often." Went to Jiffy Lube just after I had the motor rebuilt in my truck. They did an oil change all right but didn't tighten the oil plug. I drove away not knowing this and shortly after truck sputtered and died. My mechanic said engine was seized due to NO oil. I contacted Jiffy Lube and the manager said they weren't responsible and hung up on me. It was going to cost more to take them to court than the truck was worth. Now I'm out $3,500.00 for a new motor that is now toast. I honestly don't know how these dumbasses are still in business.
After reading hundreds of similar reviews it's pretty clear they don't care about their customers except to take their money and screw up everything they touch. I now do my own oil changes. Don't be fooled by their ads that say now under new management because nothing has changed. A few weeks later the same thing happened to my brother and his wife. I bought an oil change from Groupon for a regular oil change service for my 2008 Ford F150. When I got there, the assistant general manager advised me that I needed a synthetic blend oil and it was going to cost me approximately $60 more than what the Groupon would cover. Said it was necessary to meet the spec listed for my vehicle and that was the lowest cost one that Pennzoil made per the specs on the box. She then showed me on the screen what the Ford spec was and again stated that the cheapest oil they had that met that spec was the synthetic blend. I need and oil change and she was pressuring need to make a decision. I agreed because I needed the oil change desperately.
While they were changing the oil, I looked up exactly what that spec was and then went to the Pennzoil website and what do you know? They're standard oil meets the Ford spec. When she came back in from the shop area to ring me up and collect, I asked again about the spec. She pulled it up on the screen and showed me and I showed her the Pennzoil website where it said their standard oil met that spec.
I told her I felt like she was ripping me off and that I only agreed because she was pressuring me to hurry and make a decision. She said that they could only go by what was on the box the oil came in and that it didn't say that spec. I told her that I shouldn't be the one to bear the cost of them not knowing the products they were selling. She got a little rude and said she wasn't going to argue with me and that the best she could do was charge me for the regular oil change and the two additional quarts my truck needed. I had expected to pay that anyway so I agreed. I didn't get ripped off but if I hadn't looked it up, I would have. I will never go back to Jiffy Lube again.

"To whom it may concern: I haven’t heard anything back from Jiffy Lube and it’s been over a week. Before I started bringing my vehicle to Jiffy Lube, I had no issues. Jiffy Lube is the only place that has serviced my vehicle other than the dealer when I bought it. Jiffy Lube’s mechanic came out and told me to take it to another mechanic and that it wasn’t anything else he could do but confirmed the leak and the knocking noise. I had another mechanic check it out and they also confirmed, due to the unsecured installation at the last oil change with Jiffy Lube the car slowly leaked oil from a loose oil drain plug and loose oil filter that were not securely installed. Therefore, causing interior engine damage.
I have receipts to show you have been the only one servicing my vehicle. My engine needs to be replaced. This has prevented me from getting to work, etc. and caused increased expenses for me and my children. I will also need a rental car to use until my vehicle is fixed. I look forward to hearing from you promptly. Otherwise, I am prepared to move forward with legal action about my 2005 Ford Escape." Will never use them again.

I found a coupon from Jiffy Lube for $15.00 full synthetic so I called them to get the price of a full synthetic oil change for a '16 Subaru Outback. The supervisor quoted me $67.99, which after 15.00 off, would have been 52.99. Since Valvoline had an offer for 54.95, I had no reason to suspect this was incorrect. So I drive right down there and 5 minutes later I pull in. First, they mix up my car with two other cars, then I wait 30 minutes for them to get to me, then that same supervisor tells me my oil change will be 99.00. I tell him I just called to get a quote and he says this price is for "synthetic blend." I remind him that he, 5 minutes earlier, quoted me a price of 67.99 for full synthetic. He looks at me blankly. So I tell him just give me my keys -- I'll get an oil change at Valvoline.
Note they have already begun to take my car apart and he says they have to put it back together. I noticed on the way home from my trip that the car was smoking heavily and engine lugging down when starting out from standstill.
This morning back in Portland in the day light, I could really see it was smoking like crazy. Checked the dip stick and it was WAAAY over the top of the "full" marker! Took it down the street to a different local JL #1006. They re-did the job for me and filled to correct level without charging. The manager at store #1006 Powell was helpful and seemed to have good integrity. He says he will call the #2231 store tomorrow and speak to their manager.
I'm hoping my car is not damaged, but will be taking it to a mechanic this week for a check-up to see if any damage can be detected. This time could have been much worse, judging from the stories shared on this site. Hopefully my car will be ok from here and not have minor or major issues because of this incident. If it does, proving it might be difficult to impossible? I'll be worrying now about the engine seizing up, blowing head gaskets, the catalytic converter... whatever else can go wrong when there's enough oil in the system to float Noah's ark!
I usually avoid JLs as a rule because of the stories I've heard from friends. Too bad I made an exception just this one time. In my past visits from years ago, it seemed to me they play on your fears to sell you more services, and talk fast to throw you off and get you keyed up/worried rather than clearly explaining things. My son lifted it some and then the technician Jason lifted it the rest of the way and placed the bar. Then when Jason closed the hood he could not latch it (no problems prior to visit), so they told my 17-year-old son he would have to figure it out himself. My son had to sit in his car for 1 hour in 90-degree weather until I could get him someone to help him latch it. Somehow in the process of them damaging the hood it also caused damage to the windshield that we now have to replace.

On 3/9/2016 I took my Dodge 3500 4X4 for an oil change as we were getting ready for a vacation. The work was performed at the Jiffy Lube on State Ave. in Marysville, WA. Less than 50 miles was put on the truck before we left on May 25th, 2016. We stopped in Butte, MT that same evening to fuel up and noticed a "wet" spot on the ground at the back of the engine. A trucker looked at it for me and told me it was most likely a blown rear main seal. The needed repairs were done at a cost of $759.97 plus an extra night's lodging. The diesel shop that did the repairs said the rear main seal blew out because "someone" overfilled the oil and they would be willing to verify this with Jiffy Lube. I paid for the repairs and went on about my vacation - with no further problems.
Upon my return home to WA which was on 6/15/2016 I contacted the Jiffy Lube that did the oil change and they blew me off - kind of like the way my rear main seal blew. So on 6/16/2016 I contacted Jiffy Lube Corp. in Houston, TX. Today, 6/28/2016 I was informed that Jiffy Lube Corporate was denying my claim because it was longer than 3 months since the oil change. The oil change was done on 3/9/2016; left for vacation on 5/25/2016 (2 months and 16 days after oil change - which is within the 3 months); incident occurred on 5/25/2016 but since I didn't report it until after I returned from vacation 6-16-2016 it was beyond the warranty. I didn't have my receipt with me, and I don't vacation with my computer. I am disabled due to MS, on a limited income, my family and caregiver who drove me Minnesota for a family reunion, made this trip possible.
Needless to say I am not happy with Jiffy Lube's response to this and I will be pursuing this with and through an attorney. My brother who is a retired Sgt. with LAPD paid the repair bill for me and intends to pursue this on my behalf. I'm sure a multi-billion dollar corporation can afford to spent thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars on tying this up until they think I will go away or financial give up. Well, I've taken on a $1.92 billion dollar outfit for $5,000.00 and won.

Bought a pre-owned 2009 VW Passat from a reputable dealer on 6/17/16. Only 89k miles on car... In great shape and clean. On 6/19/16 I took said vehicle to a very popular European dealership collision center (daughter's employer) to have her technicians that she has known for years and I trust look over the car. A "great buy" is said. No leaks, no lights on, everything good is the end result. Because there was no oil change sticker in the window and almost 90k miles I decided to treat my car to a full synthetic oil change.
Against better judgment (had problems a couple years ago at the same location), I pulled into Atlanta Lubes Two, LLC DBA Jiffy Lube #2103, located 5772 Peachtree-Industrial Blvd Chamblee, GA 30341. The employees were friendly and smiling (different people from years ago who were obnoxious and rude). I asked the cost of an oil change and was told $89 for my car and an additional charge of $15 to top off coolant because the "red" (warning not hazard yellow) coolant low light had come on during inspection (always thought that was free of charge).
Anyway, agreed to spend as I was in a good mood and I love my car. My car is in the bay and one tech comes in and asks for another to help him with respect to my car. I am now at the glass looking. The older fast talking tech comes in and explains something about my filter but said "all is ok." I know it is because I just bought the car. So, after 40 min (kind of long I was only one there and 4 techs hovering around my car), I go to pay and it's over $100 but am given a $10 coupon. Geee. Thanks!! Still expensive but I pay and leave.
The 26th of June, I pull my car out to leave the garage and all of my coolant (green slippery stuff) is on the garage floor. All of a sudden, I have a serious leak. Hmmmm... So, I call the location and of course they're excited about my coming back to them. So, instead, I take it to the same techs as before and he confirmed sabotage (a puncture in a line that he said was not there when he inspected the car). I make an online complaint and some arrogant ** from corporate is getting smart, over talking me, basically trying to avoid dealing with the issue.
Crooks, thieves, dishonest, unethical business practices. Realizing I am wasting my time (I can see why the Jiffy Lube culture is poor) I get so frustrated over his unprofessional and almost bullyish demeanor that I say ** you and before I can disconnect the call the representative from "CORPORATE" says, "You as well!" Lesson learned... Jiffy Lube nor any of the other quick lubes will NEVER get another dime from me.

Once he was finished with the phone he ignored me yet again to speak to a new customer that had just walked in. When I got upset, he told me I was rude when all I said was "really".

Went in for a oil change on 4/2/2016. A guy came out from the back and asked me if I wanted them to check the air filter (don't they do that automatically?). He said "the reason I ask is that it is hard to get to, and I just want to make sure you would replace it if it needs it." I said "yeah, if it needs it I probably would." Comes back out 2 minutes later with air filter and looking at it, I told him I would wait until next time. Then, as I was getting ready to pay my bill, they told me that they had a special on wiper blades, Buy 1 get one free. I told him that mine were fine (I had just replaced them not long ago). Paid my bill and drove to a restaurant to have lunch (this is about 12:30).
When I came out to get back in my car, I noticed that one of my tires was very flat. I drove to a gas station several yards away and attempted to put air into it. When I took the cap off air was coming out like crazy and it would not hold air. I called a service station and after talking with them a couple times, figured out that the valve stem sensor was broken off. I was told that this doesn't just happen on its own and that whoever filled it with air last had to know it was broken because air would be leaking out very fast. Well things were starting to fall into place... I called Jiffy Lube 3 or 4 times and they would not answer (I believe they saw the caller ID and knew it was me calling). I knew then that this had been done deliberately because I didn't buy the air filter. So I had to call for a tow truck to take my vehicle to a tire store and have it fixed. About $100 for the tow and another $100 for the broken sensor. This is how I spent my Saturday afternoon.
I waited until Monday and talked with an area supervisor. He told me they have had problems with that location and that they would reimburse me for the towing and replaced sensor. A couple of days later when it started raining I turned my wipers on and heard a terrible noise. One of my wipers had a about a 4" tear. Now I know why they asked at the last minute if I wanted my wipers replaced. It was not like that before I went for my oil change. So I called the guy back and let him know. So now I had to go and purchase a new wiper blade and install it myself.
Looking at my receipt, it says that I declined to have my tire pressure and air filter checked. (REALLY??) Since then my stereo has been cutting in and out and my windshield cracked. I can't help but wonder if these things were also caused by Jiffy Lube. I did finally get a check for $190.22 to cover the tow and sensor, over two months later. I guess I will never know what all was done to sabotage my vehicle while I was there.

As a result, my car overheated on the highway, I needed to have it towed, and needed my thermostat replaced. That was my 1st and only experience going to Jiffy Lube. I only went there because I had a coupon and got an oil change for $29, but in the long run it cost me $251 (would have been over $500 but did not get the hoses replaced yet). I've been a customer for 4 yrs. I've repeatedly informed JL that my $1000 aftermarket performance ball joints have grease zerks and require lube. When I went in for an oil change today, I verified with the front desk, that they know about the zerks. The technician showed me they had a notation on my account, that they were aware, and that they would take care of it. At post inspection, they showed me my coolant was a quart low? I checked under the vehicle and showed them that the zerks had not been touched. They pulled the vehicle back in, and I asked to speak with the mgr **.
During our conversation, I negotiated for them to top off the coolant at no cost, as a show of good faith. After filling the coolant reservoir, the tech said my ball joints were torn. I stated that they shouldn't be, unless they are not competent to do that service. When I got home, I crawled under the vehicle, to check that the oil filter had been changed, and to inspect the ball joints for damage (there was none... just a sloppy lube job). I opened the hood to verify that the coolant had been topped off. What I found, is that the tech disconnected a vacuum line from my air filter to the engine, when he was topping off the coolant. I am no longer a Jiffy Lube customer, and I have filed a complaint with Bureau of Automotive Repair.

I had an oil change and transmission service done at the Jiffy Lube at 5915 100th street in Lakewood, WA on 3/17/16 and after a couple of weeks of oil leaking on my garage floor I returned the car to Jiffy Lube and they stuck a vacuum cleaner to my oil filler hole and messed with my car for over an hour. They explained the guy that changed my oil used an old oil washer and that's why it leaked. Two weeks later my low-pressure oil light came on and I had to take the car to the dealer. The dealer called me and informed me that whoever changed my oil last had removed my oil pressure switch and stripped the threads when they tried to put the switch back in. They had smeared sealer around it seal it. It failed and that's why the light came on. He also explained that someone had stripped the threads on the oil pan and installed a piggyback plug which was also had been stripped, and had a red sealer on it to keep it from leaking.
He said I needed a new oil pan. I called the general manager a Jiffy Lube and he denied they ever touched the oil pressure switch and that he had even looked it up on the computer to see where it was located. He informed me that he couldn't be held responsible until he inspected the damage himself but would not go look at the damage at the dealer. I had the dealer put the old oil pan back on and took the car to Jiffy Lube. The manager said no oil was leaking out the stripped threads so I was out of luck, but he would rethread the oil drain and put a yet larger plugin. My wife said they couldn't touch her car again so we took it back to the dealer for a new oil pan.
The store later called me and said they would refund my money for the oil change and transmission service but refused to fix my damage. The total for everything was $1,500. I contacted the BBB and Jiffy Lube gave their pet answer that they didn't do it. The car has only had service at the dealer and that Jiffy Lube and the dealer verified that Jiffy Lube had done the damage. No one from Jiffy Lube management has contacted us wanting to see the parts or even discuss the matter or see the documentation. No choice but to sue them.

The manager brought me out of the waiting room and showed me my air filter, then said he had seen worst and recommends I have it changed on my next oil service. He also said I had a turn signal out. I said "Yes go ahead and replace it."
When everything was finished he brought me up to the counter and said everything was fine. I paid and he gave me the print out that showed all that they did and checked. One of the things on there read "Brake Fluid Check", across from that reads "Sensor OK". He leads me to my car and puts the sticker on the windshield and closes the door after I get in. As soon as I take off and the put my foot on the brake pedal it felt different from how it felt when I drove there. I thought well maybe it's because they put air in my tires. As I was driving home which was about a four-mile ride I could tell my brakes were not as strong as they had been with brand new pads and rotors just put on a few days ago.
Well when I parked the car I noticed this air sound as I pushed the brake pedal. I went in the house and googled that air sound, then went back out to the car and brakes were completely gone pedal to the floor. Luckily I made it home just in time or I might not have made it home alive. Well I looked under the hood and the brake fluid was just about empty. Then we call to say we are bringing the car back and the "manager" Derron says "I remember that car, we put oil in it". When we got to the center and showed Derron that there was no oil in the car he did not even so much as apologize. Great "managerial" skills. Then he proceeds to put TOO MUCH oil in. I took my 2008 F350 in for a transmission service. Jiffy Lube did the service. I drove the truck roughly 60 miles. Transmission started acting up. I got the truck off the road. Checked the fluid. Dipstick was dry. I was only a few blocks from the same Jiffy Lube that did the trans service. Pulled in and said the trans dipstick is dry. The girl checked the fluid level and said "Put it in natural," I said "I think you leave it in park to check the fluid." She said "This is a Dodge right?" I said "No it's a Ford." So she checked the dipstick and said "It's full." I said "It was not registering 5 minutes ago." She replied "It's full now." I said "That's it?" She replied "Yes it's full" and walked off. So I limped my truck home which is probably what did my trans min in. Called Jiffy Lube the next day. They said they were opening a claim on my truck. To expect a call from their claims department.
A week and a half goes by nothing. Truck is in driveway. Won't move. Call them back. They said still working on claim. I asked what they were doing to rectify this problem. They offered to come to my house and change the trans fluid and filter and put new trans fluid back in it in good faith, but in doing so they would wash their hands of it if that was not the problem. Or I could pay at my expense to have truck towed to a mechanic shop and have it checked by a mechanic. If a mechanic told them the damage in my transmission was caused from the service they did on my truck they would take care of it. So that's what I did. Explained to the mechanic what had happened. Didn't have any issues with trans before service was done and he said he could check it out for me and he did and called me up and said that it had internal damage and needed to be replaced.
I asked him if back flushing the trans fluid without replacing trans filter could have caused the damage. He said "Yes it is not recommended on these trucks." So he called Jiffy Lube as a third party to get info on what type of oil was put back in truck and they told him what was specified out for that vehicle. Then they lied to the mechanic and told him when I brought my truck in for initial service that I had told them that I was having shifting problems with the transmission prior to service. The mechanic asked for notes of me saying this prior to service on truck. They said that they did not note that conversation. Jiffy Lube flat out lied. That doesn't even make any sense. I never had any issues with my transmission shifting. Ran perfect before I took it to them. Mechanic said this would be tough case to prove unless they tore the transmission down and inspected it from top to bottom which could be very expensive.
Wife went to Jiffy Lube same day asked for their claims department's #. They said we don't have a claim #. Wife said she wanted a refund for the service that Jiffy Lube did that destroyed my trans. The gal at Jiffy Lube said my wife told her that the truck was having trans problems before the service was done. My wife was beside herself when she heard that. She thought what a bunch of idiots. Jiffy Lube employees are a bunch of liars. They make stuff up to get out of taking responsibility for their mistake. They back flushed my transmissions and didn't replace the filter inside the trans and destroyed the transmission. Jiffy Lube in Monroe Washington sucks. Cost me $4,900 for a new transmission.

These Jiffy Lube associates knew they had broken the cap and by having me grab it, attempted to absolve themselves of all guilt. They had my car in the garage for at least 10 minutes and I believe it would have taken less than that to realize the cap was already broken as they had stated. I show up and tell them I wanted to just to conventional oil. They told me, "That's fine" and went ahead and did the oil change.
Once it was done the technician came in and gave me this whole go around about how the factory-recommended oil is synthetic oil and that they won't warranty the job they did and how my engine would run much worse with conventional oil. I understood at the time, but there is no excuse to have not told me right from the start that the job wouldn't be warrantied and they wouldn't stand by their product. So me, like an idiot, had them do it over with synthetic oil.
After I got back from my trip I pulled the truck out of my garage and noticed a fairly large pool of oil on the ground. My truck has never leaked anything of any kind. I tried hosing out the skid plate and oil pan because I had read there can sometimes be residual oil. Again when I pulled my truck out the next day, huge puddle of oil right underneath it. I went back to Jiffy Lube and they said the gasket was bad and had to change it. Weren't they suppose to do that the first time? For the next few days there were still puddles of oil under my truck!
So today I finally took it to my local Toyota dealership to have it done right. I explained to them the situation and just told I want to do a fresh oil change. When it was all said and done, the Toyota technician told me that conventional oil is the factory recommended oil and that's what they used. They also told, "Ey" my oil filter was loose and that's where the leak came from and that there was so much oil on my engine that it was likely it would have ran dry and destroyed my engine within the next week or so. I was amazed, these guys at Jiffy Lube lied to me to my face. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I recommend people stay far away from this horrible place! They will squeeze every dollar out of you, not stand by their product and lie to you to your face.

Routine oil change. Next day started smelling oil and hearing funny noise when I press the gas. Drove to a nearby mechanic shop. He first said "See there. It's leaking oil." Then lift my hood and said "They did not place the seal on the oil filter correctly." I came in time before engine was messed up. Had a funeral out of town the following day. So upset!!! I am an Uber driver and we need to have our cars inspected every year and Jiffy Lube in Covina was one of the centers PAID by Uber to do the inspections. I was greeted by a tall Caucasian man that seem to be in charge and he send me away because they had done all the Uber inspections for the day. I went back again the next day and I was told they had 7 inspections available, however the same man in charge keep telling to move my car to different locations and it was obvious he did not want to do the inspection even when the garage had NO customers. Very rude man. He kept talking down to me and giving his back. BAD PLACE, BAD ATTITUDE. I left without the inspection and went to a better place.

My father brought in his 2011 GMC Sierra truck for a routine oil change on 1/27/2016. The technician servicing the truck broke/damaged the ATF dipstick tube assembly due to carelessness when it pulled out. My father observed/witnessed it. The technician feigned ignorance and attempted to blame my father for the damage. The technician told my father to take his truck to the dealership for repair/replacement. The technician refused to take any responsibility for his own carelessness in breaking/damaging the dipstick tube.
My father had the dipstick tube repaired/replaced at the dealership and brought the invoice back to this location. He spoke with another employee. My father presented the employee with the invoice and asked what they will do to compensate the amount for the repair/replacement. The employee became irate and told my father he'll need to call corporate with no additional details or information on how and when the follow up will occur.
My father asked the employee for his name. The employee angrily told my father he is not obligated to provide him with his name and told him to get the hell off the premises or he'll call the police. My father was not being abusive or confrontational in any way during the interaction. The area district manager Leyon ** became aware of the issue on 1/30/2016, but declined to contact me after a couple of follow up calls from me. I called Jiffy Lube corporate in Texas and was informed they would follow up with Leyon and me. Jiffy Lube corporate told me the very rude customer service by the employee and broken/damaged component will be addressed.
I took the initiative and finally reached Leyon ** on the morning of 2/3/2016. He sounded as if he was not interested in the situation and stated up front that he will not compensate the broken/damaged dipstick tube and claimed they break all the time due a faulty design and quality. He stated he'll deny and refuse any compensation by claiming it's not their fault regardless of the technicians recklessness.
Furthermore, he claimed the employee in question stated that my father was being abusive and combative and that is why he responded the way he did and the employee was supposedly put on final notice. Leyon's demeanor and voice on the phone clearly indicated he didn't care about any of the issues. Leyon initially refused to provide me with the contact information for his manager (regional manager) until I had to press the issue.
My father has been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer for more 20 years going through at least three vehicles. My father is 70 years old. The absolute rude and unprofessional treatment by the employee who told him to leave with the threat of calling the policemen is shameful. I asked Leyon if the audio and video recording of the interaction from the security cameras in the office can be pulled. Leyon refused to address that. Leyon's dismissive attitude and lack of respect towards the issue along with his cavalier responses clearly shows he doesn't give a damn and nor does Jiffy Lube corporate.

I had my car oil changed Last Jan 2014 in Glendale, CA specifically Colorado blvd. I paid 200 something dollars because they need to change my transmission fluid also. My husband changed my oil filter and oil yesterday and he was very, very surprised to see oil leaking in my undercarriage and overflowing the oil filter. The Jiffy Lube staff did not tighten my oil filter at all. They could have cause me and my family an unfortunate incident. Don't go to these places... go to a reliable mechanic.

I had the oil changed on my pickup truck. Less than 5 miles after leaving their store the oil filter fell off and the motor locked up. They told me that the high mileage on the motor was the reason it failed. Not the fact that their incompetent employees done something wrong. I am taking this to court and suing them for my motor. They have the worst employees in the business working for them and the best thing you can do is take your vehicle to a competent and trusted business. When I took the truck in they overfilled it with oil, then wanted to charge me for the extra oil! The 4 people that was working that day was probably none of them 20 years old and no supervisor.

I took my car to Jiffy Lube (Beaverton-Hillsdale) and they did not have the correct filter. I was told by the floor attendant to get one, bring it back and they would do a quick oil change. I did that and, upon returning midway through service, they presented me with a price of $84, allowing $2 "credit" for the $20 filter I brought to them. They included the cost of a filter in their so-called "Signature Service," while giving $2 for time and trouble and cost of the filter I provided them! Unbelievable and no response from franchisee, corporate or any other satisfactory response. Don't go there. I never will again.

This place has become dangerous. I went for routine maintenance at shop number 1103, which I have done for almost a year. In the last year they have not put tire covers on securely, and in the most recent visit, they broke a tire strut and said the nut was missing (it was not when I went in) and failed to check the brakes. I had to get the shoes replaced within the week. This franchise cannot be trusted with the safety of auto maintenance, and this is a major deterioration to my car.
