This branch has criminals working. Purposely damaged my wife's transmission during a fluid change AND loosened the undercarriage shield protector almost causing a major accident. Would sue them if I had the time and money.

I arrived when no other vehicles were present and stated that I would like an oil change only no further services. I was then presented with two of my filters with a recommendation of them being changed even though I stated I did not want any further services. I was then quoted the price which seemed very high, but I had found a coupon online so that was helpful. I was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes and 50 minutes later it was finished on my receipt as you can see it stated that the floors were vacuumed and that task was completed. You can also see by the photos… Absolutely did not happen. I did not ask for my floors to be vacuumed as part of the service but if you’re stating on the receipt that it was completed and it was not, that’s not going to work for me.

Jiffy Lube is a rip off. My wife went by to get a battery. As jiffy lube carries interstate batteries which i insist on she went there as we knew they carried them. 305 dollars for an interstate battery.. which was about 50% more than I thought it should cost. I called another interstate dealer about a block away that I was unaware of prior to looking on interstates website. Blacks Tire Service. They quoted me over the phone for the same battery 225 installed.
I called my wife hoping she hadn't had it installed yet but they had and they said they wouldn't take the battery back out. After I gripped about them ripping her off they said they would take 10% off but that was it, even after telling them that blacks a block away was selling same battery for 225. So it doesn't end there as I was very irked.. I called Interstate and they put me in contact with the distributor that sells interstate batteries to dealers in that area. Spoke with a very nice man and told him the story. The 225 that Blacks quoted me was the suggested retail price by the Interstate distributor. All he could say to me is that jiffy lube is very high on their pricing but that the distributor doesn't set the dealers pricing only gives a suggested retail. This is what you get if you deal with jiffy lube a mark up 50% higher than suggested retail and they don't feel bad about it at all. This is for the 10th Ave location in Myrtle Beach SC.

I took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube in Wylie, Texas to have a simple lightbulb replaced, and it ended up costing me far more than expected. During the service, they shorted out a fuse block, which resulted in significant electrical issues. I had to take my car to an ASE-certified mechanic to get it properly diagnosed and repaired at my own expense. What is worse is the complete lack of accountability. I have tried multiple times to reach out via phone and email, but they have ignored all my attempts to resolve this issue. I expected a company like Jiffy Lube to take responsibility for their mistakes, but they have shown no interest in making this right. I would strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this corporation with your vehicle. A small job turned into a costly, frustrating experience that could’ve been avoided with proper care and customer service.

I am a 70 year old 100% (combat) permanently disabled veteran. Last week I took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube, Lomita, CA (Store#930) for a simple oil change. While waiting, I was informed that my brakes were "metal to metal" and needed urgent repair, then my power steering fluid was contaminated, then my transmission fluid needed replacement, then my radiator needed to be flushed. I OPTED FOR JUST THE OIL CHANGE ($99) with a coupon. The next day I noticed oil had been leaking and two large oil spots in my driveway. My vehicle has never leaked oil.
I took my vehicle to my very trustworthy mechanic. RESULTS: The oil pan plug was improperly installed post oil change. My brakes had only 40% wear and recommended to recheck 4-5 months. The power steering fluid was OK. My radiator and the fluid was fine. The receipt also states my "service engine soon" and "tire pressure lights" were on. THIS VEHICLE HAS NO SUCH LIGHTS! My interpretation: This business saw an elderly disabled veteran (I have Disabled Veteran license plates) and made an effort to convince me to have work (expensive work) done on my vehicle (FRAUD). I have used this specific store for about 2 decades. The previous manager (FRED) was always very honest. THIS NEW OWNER OR MANAGER needs to be investigated!

After more than 15 years of loyalty with Jiffy Lube and at least 4 different vehicles I was lied to when I brought my vehicle in for service. I was assured when I asked about the price that I would get the regular discounts (1 being my loyalty discount which I believe was a $10.00) coupon and the other a senior discount since I am certainly a senior. When It came time to pay the bill the cashier/manager who I've seen for years said I was not in the system and perhaps the guy put my license number in wrong. WRONG! I even had 4 previous Jiffy Lube stickers that were still on my windshield to show the dates that I had been in.
So I went directly to Jiffy Lube to complain where I got the typical blow you off apology and was told that the senior discount (only the senior discount) would be refunded to my account. That was two weeks ago. The service is a joke. They suggest the most expensive service and screw you over anyway. I am so incredibly pissed that I continued to trust these people and for a measly $15.00 they would relinquish ever having to do business with me again. BUYER BEWARE. Get an exact price from these people before they even look under the hood. And if you can not do it yourself there are a lot of services in your neighborhood that do oil changes.

I brought my car in for an oil change at this location and left with over $6,000 in cooling system damage. The manager initially admitted fault and told me they would cover repairs and rental costs. After towing my car to a dealership, they reversed that promise and denied responsibility. I’ve now had to file a small claims lawsuit to recover the cost of the damage, and I’ve been left without reliable transportation and paying out of pocket to rental car, and stuck with a huge bill for the damages they caused as a result. I tried to resolve this directly, but I’m disappointed in how this was handled. Be cautious, and get everything in writing if you choose to use this location. They have been not reliable or honest. This happened the location 1051 Country Club Dr Mansfield Texas, 76063.

The techs overfilled my car with oil before a trip out of state. It broke down in a country town with no mechanic. When I got it home and took it to them this morning with PROOF they overfilled it, Jacob, the hateful manager treated me like a simple idiot woman and tried to sell me on other garbage and did not tell me what happened to my car, why it’s still lagging, or why the check engine light is on. He was rude, interrupted me and was incredibly sexist in his behavior before kicking me out when I asked him to stop condescending me and saying MA’AM every time I opened my mouth to speak.
The regional manager wasn’t better. He told me he was sure I had laundry to catch up on after our vacation. Because that’s all women do. Laundry, apparently. My dad died when I was 17 and was a union member and master mechanic. I’m not a simpleton about the car I have owned and babied for 10 years since they are no longer manufactured. This place is a joke and they need to clean house starting with that jerk manager Jacob.

I went to three Jiffylubes in Austin for a simple state emissions test. Here are the results: The Jiffylube at 16224 RR 620 reported that they had been suspended from doing inspections because their inspector was caught taking bribes. I'm not kidding! The Jiffylube at 11219 RR 2222 had a big state inspection sign out front but had no inspector on duty--not the first time this has happened at that location.
The Jiffylube at 11426 RR 620 near Anderson Mill Rd had an inspector, a very slow inspector. I was third in line for an inspection that takes about 10-15 minutes, tops. He took 25 minutes to perform one emissions test, and then allowed two cars that drove in for oil changes AFTER all of us waiting for inspections to cut ahead in line! The guy ahead of me in line got out of his truck and asked them what the heck was going on, and got a bunch of shoulder-shrugging for an answer. He then left. I also left when I realized I'd be in line for another 50 minutes if I waited. If you need an emissions test but would prefer to waste your time, burn some gas, and be treated like trash, I can strongly recommend Jiffylube.

This review has nothing to do with the workers there. They were all nice and friendly, but I did not know that the company changed name's again. When I started coming to 8617 Hwy 92 Woodstock, Ga. 30189 back in 08/2021 the name of the place was Castrol Oil. I really liked Castrol, but then in about 06/2023 the company changed to Valvoline Express Care, which wasn't so bad because I was given the same great low prices. They had a deal going on an oil change for $29.99.
Now comes 05/2025 and the company has changed again to Jiffy Lube. Now I don't know what's going on but if I go into a oil place that has a $29.99 for an oil change, then why was I charged $54.99? If that sign wasn't up like it was, then I might have gone to another oil place. I don't write bad reviews, but when I paid an extra $25.00, that was the last straw. And another thing, Jiffy Lube is not registered with CARFAX Car Care, so I had to fill it in on my own.

I went to my local Jiffy Lube on 3-29-25 for an oil change. I have going to Jiffy Lube for about 2 yrs. The tech told me after about an hour that my oil pan cap was not fitting back on the oil pan. After about another hr. the tech informed me that the district manager was coming by to try to either fix the oil cap or fit a different type onto the pan. After about 30 min. the tech informed me that the district manager could not get any cap to fit the oil pan. Additionally, the tech said the oil pan was cracked and would have to be replaced. He said that the district manager told me that the oil pan was not leaking at the moment. He said Jiffy Lube would replace the oil pan for free. I just needed to take my car to the Clinton highway location and they would replace tge oil pan.
I took my car there on 3-31-25. I had to leave it overnight with them. This meant that I had to rent a car to get to work. Total cost of the car rental was $192. I picked up my car the next day at Jiffy Lube. I drove the car home. The next morning the new oil pan was leaking oil onto my garage floor. I did not take the car back to Jiffy Lube. I took it to Firestone to get it fixed. This cost $446. Again, I had to rent a car for the day. This cost was $115. I had already called the Jiffy Lube headquarters to voice emtpy concerns about their workmanship. I never received any follow up from Jiffy lube.
I did a search and found out that the local franchisee that owned the Jiffy Lubes in Knoxville Tn. is Joe **. I emailed Joe and explained the situation. He emailed me back and assured me that a VP of his office would call me. After a reminder from me a few days later I received a call from the VP. I had asked the owner to reimburse me for the cost of the oil pan at Firestone and the cost of the rental cars. During the call the VP politely informed me that since I did not go back to them after the oil pan was leaking after they replaced it for free that They would not reimburse me at all. I reached out to the owner, Joe, one last time. I asked him if he would at least pay for the work done by Firestone and I would eat the cost of the car rentals. He did not respond.

Parked my car and contacted them, the store manager came out to look for himself, agreed the car didn’t sound like that when it was serviced and said “your type of car is known to have issues after an oil change” I explained my car has never had a single major issue as it’s always been maintained by a certified mechanic and all work goes on Carfax. I told him I will be holding Jiffy Lube responsible for whatever the issue is, as he even admitted himself the car was not making the locking sound and he flat out said he knows they won’t pay. Sounds like I’ll be suing.

As I was approaching town, my car alerted me to low tire pressure in the rear driver's side. Concerned, I stopped by Jiffy Lube in Appleton without an appointment. To my relief, they took my car in immediately. Within minutes, they identified the issue—a tiny wood shard lodged in the tire. They showed me exactly what they found, carefully removed it, and patched the small hole on the spot. The entire process took less than 20 minutes, and I was back on the road safely. I’m incredibly grateful for their quick, professional, and courteous service. Without their fast response, I could have ended up with a flat tire in a much less convenient or safe place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JIFFY LUBE — THEY DESTROYED MY ENGINE AND TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY. I took my 2017 Ford Escape—my reliable, well-maintained vehicle with ZERO prior issues—to Jiffy Lube on December 19, 2024, for a simple oil change. That was the beginning of a nightmare. Three days later, on December 22, after driving only 37 miles, my car suddenly lost power on the highway and began spewing blue-gray smoke. I was forced to pull over and have it towed to Dobbs Tire and Auto Center.
What Dobbs found was shocking: the engine was coated in black, dirty oil, and they drained over 6 quarts—despite my vehicle only holding 4.3 quarts total. The dipstick showed oil filled over an inch above the full line. The mechanic explained that the excessive oil fouled the spark plugs, destroyed the catalytic converters, and permanently ruined the engine. Even after replacing plugs and trying to clean it up, the car died again on a test drive. Diagnosis: engine completely destroyed.
I immediately brought this to Jiffy Lube’s attention. Their response? Blame everyone but themselves. They claimed they only put in the right amount of oil and pointed fingers at Dobbs—without ever speaking to the mechanic or inspecting the damage. Just outright denial, despite the clear timeline and mechanical evidence.
Let’s be real: my car worked perfectly before Jiffy Lube touched it. It died 37 miles later, drowned in oil. And now I’m left with a dead engine and thousands in losses. If you value your vehicle, your time, and your money—DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Jiffy Lube’s negligence cost me a car, and their refusal to take any responsibility is shameful.

End of 2023 I purchased a 1985 Dodge Ramcharger in Washington State. Before driving it to Florida I needed some service done to the SUV. Looking for nationwide warranty and explicitly asking for it, I choose a Jiffy Lube store there. The drive home was ok. After getting to Florida we started to upgrade some interior, etc on the SUV, but drove it off and on. During the year 2024. The battery quit cold in October 2024. Being under “warranty” we finally found someone to contact at corporate and raised the battery issue and a strong wobbling in the (new? Installed) front brakes.
After about 100!+ phone calls and text messages and numerous promises that it will be looked at, I had to make three (3) Shop visits at local Jiffy Lubes only to be told in the end there is no issue with the brakes and the battery, which brought to them, was (logically) not installed and that’s why no warranty on nothing. We paid 3.800$+ for the repairs. This is a dishonest organization with obviously equally incompetent and dishonest staff. The excuse was: "While we are a nationwide brand, the franchisees are independent and don’t warrant other franchisees' work." Great!

I brought my car to the Jiffy Lube store 2440 for a routine oil change, expecting a quick and professional service. What I experienced instead was sheer negligence, poor communication, and a complete disregard for customer safety. The day after the service, my car’s dashboard displayed a “low engine oil pressure” warning, and I started hearing alarming noises. Concerned, I returned to the shop. They changed the oil and filter again and assured me my car was safe to drive home. However, their negligence became evident when my engine completely locked shortly after I left.
I have clear video evidence of the employees acknowledging their mistakes and stating things like, “I wouldn’t drive it,” and “I think we messed up,” and more. Despite this, they allowed me to leave in an unsafe vehicle, putting my life and others in danger. If I had driven on the freeway, the consequences could have been catastrophic. The aftermath was even worse. I spent over five hours in the freezing cold with my mother, waiting for a tow truck during the holiday season.
The lack of accountability and proper resolution from Jiffy Lube is infuriating. When I contacted the manager to address these issues, the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing and offering to make things right, they were defensive and unwilling to acknowledge the gravity of their negligence. This experience has caused me financial stress, emotional distress, and the loss of valuable time. I expected much better from a company of this size. I had Jiffy Lube change my transmission fluid at the Hendersonville, TN location. It’s a fairly simple procedure so I assumed things were fine. After several months I found that whoever did the procedure put in way too much transmission fluid and as a result, Mercon was leaking from several areas. I contacted the manager and explained what had happened. I made it clear I expected any damage to be fixed and asked him if there was an employee on the premises qualified to perform the repair. The manager confidently said he was capable of doing so, and he told me to bring the vehicle in. I quickly found out I had wasted my time driving up there since he had no intention of trying to rectifying the situation.
There were no customers at the location the entire time I was there, and two other employees were standing around doing nothing. The manager focused his efforts on trying to distract me with topics that had nothing to do with the problem we discussed on the phone. He tried to spend as much time as possible repeatedly explaining the benefits of synthetic motor oil over and over again. I had to keep redirecting him to the reason I was there. Eventually, I showed him pictures of where the transmission fluid had been leaking, and of the dipstick indicating the transmission had been drastically overfilled. Though he acknowledged that the transmission had been overfilled, he made a number of feeble attempts to claim that Jiffy Lube wasn’t responsible for the leaks.
First, he implied the instructions stamped on the dipstick can be ignored. Second, he insinuated that overfilling the transmission couldn’t cause leaks. Third, he tried to claim the thick red liquid leaking from the transmission wasn’t transmission fluid. Fourth, since I had days previously wiped off the leaking transmission fluid and made sure it was indeed still leaking, Jiffy Lube shouldn’t be responsible for the leaks somehow. Fifth, he claimed that getting an oil change somehow releases Jiffy Lube from any liability for the damage caused by overfilling my transmission. Sixth, He claimed that since we had been driving the car, Jiffy Lube isn’t responsible for any damage caused by overfilling the transmission.
The manager ended the conversation by saying “this over my pay grade”. I didn’t appreciate that statement for two reasons. He had told me he was qualified to fix the problem before he told me to bring my vehicle in. And secondly, all three of them had been doing nothing when I arrived and the place was going to be open for business for another six hours. I’m utterly shocked that Jiffy Lube allows individuals like this to represent their business.
