    I would never purchase a vehicle from this company. The Joliet Il location has the most unprofessional staff and terrible disposition. I went in to see what I would be approved for and was told that they wouldn't take my money and then proceeded to ask for more when I hadn't even been told what I was approved for or what type of down payment I would need if any. The finance manager is rude and had a bad attitude. He didn't introduce himself nor did he explain how their purchase process works. He was very snappy when I asked who he was and then had even more attitude when I asked how this works and why all the questions. It was just a terrible experience! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you're looking to purchase a car from this company!!!!

    Was in there this morning 6/9/2025 dark haired young girl waited on me. Was not the least bit helpful at all. I asked if 2 cars I was interested in were unlocked? Her response was, "I don’t know." Not, "Oh well let’s go take a look" so I walk out there by myself and sure enough they're locked and she still didn’t go unlock them. Very unprofessional!!! Do better if you actually wanna sell a car.

    Byrider was a bad experience. They fill you with dreams of a second chance then you get denied so why false advertise. They are not reliable after two hours of sitting and waiting for them to come and tell you that you don't qualify. 😤😤😤

    I purchased a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country from the Byrider in Joplin Missouri June 2023. I was told my vehicle had been refurbished including all needed scheduled maintenance and any repairs needed. After purchasing I found out none of the 100k mile service had been done. I had to pay for transmission service. One tire had three plugs in it. I didn't find out until I bought new ones. My air conditioning stopped working last summer and was not covered by warranty. I paid $2500 for a warranty that covers nothing! Electric problems key fob doesn't work. Brakes haven't been right since day one. Took back three times. $600 for a vehicle with no AC, no key fob, window regulator not working.

    I swear these 5 star reviews are from brand new people excited about qualifying, that will be dubbing back to retract from this. These people are bullies. ALL they care about is THE SALE. They could care less about financial hardship. They become rude and dismissive. They don’t take time selling you a car. But that paper work is where it’s at. I wish I would have thoroughly read. Sadly, you don’t get to the paperwork until after you paid your money. They should give out loaners, seeing that they are selling lemons. You always gotta leave your car for several days, just for them to not fix it. I needed a brake switch. They says they replaced it, but they did not. I took my car to Hyundai and they ended up having to replace it.

    There are always businesses getting over on people until they cannot anymore. They have to be held accountable. I’m sure they are doing things that they should not be doing. They do not have a grace period. Since when did 2nd hand dealerships start doing that? If you can’t make a payment or ask for a few days, maybe a week, they want you to park the car on their lot until you can make payment. Really? They harass your references. HARASS! Anyone wanting to research this company and protest in any way, please contact me. **

    Horrible service in the finance department from Missy and Melissa in Opelika AL. Even with a perfect payment history they’re willing to treat people like garbage. Just know you’ll be threatened with repossession for any slight perceived infraction in my experience.

    I'd give 0 stars if I could. Horrible experience with these people. I got into an accident in 2020 with this vehicle. They quit communication with me. They took me to court without any documentation being sent to me. Now I'm post cancer treatments and they are garnishing my wages. Nothing like screwing someone over then making them pay for it. Then to top that off they make me pay for them garnishing me on top of the interest that keeps getting added on. Do not do business with these people. They lie and do anything to screw you out of money. And keep adding interest charges to the outstanding balance. They bury you in debt. Not worth it considering the vehicle I got was in an accident and they never reported it to me. Safety and reliability are not something they stand for. They just want your money.

    I had a very enjoyable sale with Keegan. He was very personable and got me into a great car in about 3 hours. I drove home same day. They worked with me on a down payment. I feel I got a great deal for my money, especially with the warranty. This is my 3rd car that I bought from Byrider and I'd do it again.

    I am very upset with my service recently, Jan 3rd 2025 my check engine light came on, I took it for a free reading at advance auto that day, it came back timing belt component and battery voltage, I assumed maybe it was due for an oil change so I took it to MR TIRE the same day and got that done but the check engine light remained on, so I scheduled an appt at Byrider (where I purchased the vehicle) for the week of the 17th, earliest I could get, during this time the check engine light went off and the car was still drivable so I only drove to & from work which is a MILE away from home once a day, but a couple days before my appt it came back on & the car was having really bad issues with acceleration & keeping speed.

    My uncle with his own car lot and over 35 yrs of experience came & looked it over in full & told me my engine was failing, he heard a small knocking noise in the bottom of my engine & there was nothing wrong with my timing belt as the code suggested (AND THIS MY FAMILY Y'ALL! 👀😐 Why would he lie to me, I was able to identify the knocking noise also btw).

    Anyways I decided to take it to the Dodge dealership in raleigh at westgate first before my byrider appt for a 2nd opinion, & paid over 200 for them to do a full diagnostics, they had 3 men with over 75 yrs experienced COMBINED come back & tell me after a multipoint inspection and code readings that my engine was failing, they heard a noise in the bottom as well thinks it's a piston rod gone bad, whatever that means 🤷🏾‍♀️ & that I need both catalytic converters replaced, all my 4 O2 sensors replaced, camshaft position sensor replaced also, they were specific to tell me that replacing the sensors could (👀COULD!)🤨 keep my car driving/drivable but there's no telling how long, maybe a week or 2 maybe a month or so, 🤷🏾‍♀️ reason.?. Simple, engine failure, same conclusion my uncle said🤦🏾‍♀️😫YA'LL...

    I barely made it to byrider 1/17th after leaving the dealership driving with hazards on & told Patrick everything that was told to me from the dealership & showed docs& what my uncle stated also, I asked because I was under warranty, never missed or was late on a payment could they PLEASE replace my engine, I told him I couldn't afford to come up here (40 mins away) every month &pay them thousands on a car because the engine is failing, I have cancer and need to make my appts, he was understanding & adamant abt checking the car out himself first, I agreed, he told me that nothing was wrong with my engine after keeping it for abt a week & that the cam sensory, crank position sensor needed to be replaced and my car would drive, $300 of work so I agreed & came to pick my car up the next week on Jan 24th.

    Feb 25th my check engine light came back on ON 👀. Feb 27th😫 I took it to get a reading & it stated the O2 sensors and battery voltage again, I had my uncle look it over & he stated to be sure to get the catalytic converters replaced & the camshaft sensors replaced AGAIN so byrider could see the engine was the problem. I had to convince Patrick to do this, the check engine light went off on March 2nd, my byrider appt was set for March 7th, I DIDN'T DRIVE MY CAR AT ALL BETWEEN FEB 25TH AND MARCH 7TH, ON MARCH 7TH! I cranked my car to go to my byrider appt & my check engine light & traction light both came on, I drove with my hazards on all the way to byrider & barely made it.

    I took out a loan through Sunbit to get the catalytic converters replaced and all the o2 sensors that day, Patrick however didn't replace my cam position sensor like we discussed ($1100 worth of work I paid), he said he would look into the cam sensor but my car was drivable, On march 11th I spoke with Patrick abt how everything is going to continue to fail because the engine is failing, he was almost aggressive in telling me that my engine was fine & everything I'm replacing is normal wear & tear for the mileage of my vehicle even though I haven't even reached 150,000 miles yet.

    So on March 11th I picked my car up, not even a day later march 12th my check engine light came back on & the electric volt light came on with it, I turned my car back off & cranked it a few moments later & the voltage light went off but the check engine light is still on, took it for a reading on march 13th, car was not wanting to drive, sluggish jerkin & quick to decelerate as soon as I remove my foot from gas, anyways multiple codes were found the power train system, the entire toque management system etc. car was basically undriveable would not accelerate at all.. so I Scheduled another apt for March 28th the earliest I could get.. GO TO SECOND PART...

    SECOND PART.... Again my car was not drivable for over another 2weeks, had to pay over 200 to get it towed 45mins from durham to Raleigh, spoke with manager Chris abt my concerns, he seemed to understand my money situation but that was temporary, left my vehicle with them march 28th, they belittled that visit to just the codes given, which was the electronic throttle system, & claimed to have only cleaned some wires or something and the car was tip top again.

    Now here's where thing get fishy, between the last conversation I had with Chris on March 28th till april 1st, no one in service dept contacted me abt what was going to be done to my car, how much it would cost, no contact from Patrick, they just did work apparently, & I only received a text message stating that my car was ready to be picked up on march 31st... I get there April 1st and it's a labor fee of $60. Okay but why didn't anyone tell me this beforehand especially when the convo I had with Chris was adamant abt me not having the funds to keep kicking out every other week on a car that y'all refuse to replace the engine on & I told you this would continue to happen in January, very unprofessional.

    I over drafted my acct that day just to get my car because of course Patrick was strict on not letting that fee go, & then the initial paperwork I received shows that all services was declined by me & that technically y'all didn't do anything to remedy the car, I had to go back in the office where Patrick all of sudden noticed that on the paperwork & decided to rewrite the papers up to show that the codes showed intermittent loss of cam shaft position sensor (something that I initially paid for to be replaced prior and didn't get done as I stated before) but what they did was pulled the pcm connector and cleaned all the grease that was there & the car was running good again, SUPPOSEDLY.

    Okay I paid y'all 60 bucks to clean a piece but my car should be straight now right?? Wrong... When I took my car on April 1st, it was sitting in their parking lot waiting for me, I drove the car from Raleigh back home but initially abt 10 mins after I started driving the car from the shop the temp gauge was warming up and then stopped and dropped back down to Cold & I'm on the highway at this point, also the car was still sluggish in driving & picking up speed, call me crazy but as someone who has driven this car for abt 3 yrs, you would think I would know how it drives by now right??

    Anyways, 10 mins into leaving the shop I call Patrick immediately & tell him abt the temp gauge, he states it's fine, it could just be broken but the car is drivable, he even asked me to see if I have heat and turn it on, I did briefly but even the air didn't feel right in the cabin so I turned it off again, he said if the check engine light comes back on for the PCM or computer chip that basically I don't need to bring it back to them. I need to take it to the dealership so they can replace and reset the computer, basically in a way saying don't bring the car back here if that's the code you get from the check engine light going off again!! WOW!!

    Anyways I get home, car is driving the same for a good 7 days, APRIL 7TH LIKE CLOCKWORK my check engine light comes back on, I contact Patrick he asks if I got the code read, I say not yet, I'm basically scared to even drive my car now but I will soon, he says & reiterates if it's a code on the personal computer take it to the dealership this time because they can't reset it. Just dismissive, I said & what if it's not, he said bring it to him, I said the car is barely drivable, it's jerking & all, he said you get here and we will fit it in, on April 13th I go get the codes read because the check engine light is still on. It states the engine coolant temp sensor is out of whack.

    My uncle comes to look at it thinking a simple fix add sum coolant & some coolant even tho I'm adding coolant every 3 days at his point, under my hood to our surprise my entire airbox is gone, they took it out & I had been driving a car that if I rode over the wrong thing in the past 2 weeks could have locked up on me, wrecked, or even killed me. Just anything?! The jerking, the slow accelerating, the air quality all started to add up, how did I leave with no air box in my car? THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT.. My uncle told me that even driving like that was dangerous because again who knows the damage my engine could have undergone this entire time with nothing to regulate air intake & flow, Like no wonder your check engine light is staying on.

    On April 17th I contacted Byrider to speak with Chris because this was just unacceptable, it almost felt retaliatory from my last visit there to be honest, & AGAIN not to my surprise the entire issue was belittled & my airbox was there in their shop & some small apologies was made but again None of the correct things were offered like if any damage to your engine was done with it still being under warranty we will replace free to you because that was our fault.

    THIRD PART.... Ayes you paid 60 bucks to get your car back not how you bought it to us & your life was put in danger so the next time your check engine light comes back on we will replace the engine which has been your main concern this entire time, WE HEAR YOU, yes we will get it towed to us so you don't have to drive it to us in that condition again and we will check for any coolant leaks, etc before we allow you to come get it, NOTHING!! JUST BRING IT BACK & let us put the box back in & cover our **!!

    Knowing good & well my check engine light gonna go off again in the next week & they gonna be expecting me to pay for that knowing it could have arisen from this incident!! I'm past tired, I don't deserve this, I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer last year & have undergone over 3 surgeries in the past 8 months & don't need this type of stress, I have cried in their faces begging for my engine to be replaced & nothing, the sympathy given to me was non existent if any since the whole check engine light thing started in January of this year 2025, I have missed important appts because I don't have the funds to get to the doctor's because all my money is being put into a vehicle that needs the engine replaced & it has not happened since I bought it up in January.

    My uncle said I should just get a lawyer & I'm definitely considering it at this point, I'm never late or missed a payment, I take good care of this car, tried oil changes, brakes, rotors, etc BUT the way I have been repeatedly ignored & been dealt with abt the main issue (engine) it's like I have no choice now! All the money I paid to replace parts that even if they replace my engine now, these parts will need to be replaced AGAIN, & I'm sure they will want me to spend MORE OF MY money on it when they could have just replaced my engine to start with & then the other parts follow.

    I could have possibly been good by this time if some people weren't so stubborn, A lawyer told me that they should replace my engine & all the parts I bought since January of this year pro bono because it's just error after error on their end at this point & I agree 1000%!! As of now I haven't taken the car back to them, I'm scared to drive it to be honest & I'm truly disappointed with Byrider, This car is almost paid off & the first time I bring them an issue that's major with the engine I've been ignored back to back, even when telling them what the problem is & getting multiple assessments from other places my engine is continuing to fail through all of this. It's getting more damage done to it at the hands of byrider but at the COST of me! I'm FED UP!! Go anywhere else you can to get a car but HERE! THEY DO NOT HANDLE BUSINESS RIGHT, they just want your money & do not care at all about your safety!!

    Personally, I’ve had a bad experience. I bought a Dodge Journey 2014. I’ve had it for three years now and it’s pretty much a regular breaker down fixture up. I have tie wires strap holding on the sensors for the camshaft sensors. The oxygen O2 sensors also have tie band strapped around them holding them in place been broke. There’s no motor mounts on the engine. Eventually the engine has fallen three times it is broke the catalytic converter. It is broke the manifold. Have a couple more thousand dollars to go with this broken piece of junk I don’t advise anyone to ever buy a vehicle there unless you have your own personal mechanic check it out because they took this car apart and put it back together with barely any bolts and nuts. Every mechanic that is worked on my car has the laughed how ridiculous and such a high price. Thanks for ripping people off, it’s greatly appreciate it.

    If I could give no stars I would. What a horrible experience. They 100% sold me a lemon. The car was in the shop within 2 weeks of getting it. And then literally every 2 weeks thereafter. I only had the car for about 5 and 1/2 months before it blew up. And then they told me that I was using my car commercially and they were voiding my warranty. Now they're coming after me for $19,000. Buyers beware, don't ever buy a car at JD byrider. Worst experience ever... They do not stand behind there behind their vehicles.. Horrible customer service. Just all around terrible...

    They sold me a $5,009 car for $15,000 and got it home and the passenger window fell into the door. The following day the alternator went out which they did not cover. Now the Check engine light is on and the fuel pump is going out .This is the definition of a LEMON. Do not waste your time.

    You should not buy a car from this place because they overcharge you about 10 grand and I mean 10 grand. If you don’t pay your note on time, they will repo your ** and your car will have problems. Guarantee it will have problems. You’re better off going to bravo auto. Their monthly payments are as 250 our auto Boulevard before you try J.D. Byrider. Truth is my car had problems right after I drove off the lot a week or two later and they don’t fix it. ** people do not buy from here. I was in the hospital and I was gonna repo my car so so he says ** don’t stick together. Let’s start here. Don’t get a car from these people.

    I reached out to the Cleveland branch last year and spoke to Bella about purchasing another vehicle around Spring. She reached out to me Monday February 10, 2025 advised me to send three copies of recent paystubs and license and that she will reach back out later that day at 4:30 pm. No response or text message. I reached out after 5 and got a phone appointment for 1:30 the next day. I got the run around AGAIN!! I will take my money and time somewhere else that is efficient and put the customer first. If you deal with this location DO NOT DEAL WITH BELLA. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

    We have three cars in total. One has been in service 11 times, from repeat of the same issue. Caused motor to blow. They had it for a month. Got it back faulty part on it caused it to blow again. They had it for two months. Paid, multiple tows, deductibles for their "warranty". Car two within a week it was sputtering because it had a bad catalytic converter. A couple months later the motor blew. Got it replaced, paid deductibles and tows, etc. Never did feel like it had full power again. These were purchased under the corporate umbrella. It then had to be sent back to service again afterward.

    They talked up how much better it got since moving to Independently Owned, so I decided I would give them one more chance. Bought a Buick Encore, before I even got home, it was losing some power, checked the code, showed Catalytic converter on it as well. Took it back in. They "replaced" the converter. Picked it up, by the time I got home the light was back on with the same codes. At this point they were replacing the motor the other one for the second time. So they told me to bring it back in after they got the Cruze fixed. It was running, but holding back but I did what service said.

    Just got the other car back and was going to schedule to have it taken in so they could actually fix it since it wasn't fixed right the first time. Lo and behold it starts sputtering and holding back again that it is not really drivable. I call up there to tell them it has to go ahead and come back in so they fix what they didn't fix the first time. Seemed they didn't even remember because they had had the other car for two months. So they give me a number to call to pay another tow company to pull it in. I am so over Byrider in general. I am about to drop the cars off in their lot, and let my attorney deal with the rest. I would rather pay an attorney than pay 1500 a month for three pieces of shit! OVER IT! I am seriously considering making a beware website, to post of all the invoices and timelines.

    JD Byrider and CNAC are dishonest and unethical. They falsely reported inaccurate information to the credit bureaus, which didn’t match our loan interest or the amount we were paying. As a result, it made our credit score worse than it actually was. When we brought this to their attention, Andrew at the Kokomo location responded dismissively with, "Prove it." We have since reported them to the Attorney General, who is actively investigating the company because we are not the first to report their dishonest and illegal practices.

    Quite possibly the WORST dealership that I have EVER dealt with. Right after buying the vehicle, I had my check engine light come on. Had the codes read and it was a faulty sensor. So I took it in to their service department and said "hey, check engine light came on and the codes said it needs a sensor".. They had my car for a day, called me and said it was done. Then informed me "it was just low on oil, so we did an oil change". No, it's a sensor that I authorized, not an oil change. Fix the sensor.

    4 months later, the water pump goes out so I decide to give them another shot and make an appointment to have it replaced. I was given an appointment for last Tuesday. It's now Monday of the following week, and I still don't have my vehicle back for a 3 1/2 hour job. Called last Friday and was given "it may be done today". Called this morning and was given more excuses as to why it's not done. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE. Literally the only person who hasn't lied to me or given me the runaround is Lindsay in finance.

    Nothing but scammers. They should be completely put out of business everywhere. I shouldn't have to pay 20k for a car worth 7k. Because of this, I've been unable to set up a savings account as I can't afford it.

    I got two cars with them. The first my ex crashed it. Was charged for it and I still had to pay for it and the other one was not up to the repairs it needed and they blew up my car and took 10 days to fix it.

    I financed my car in 2022 in September. It's an 2012 Ford Fusion. It was $13,154.00. I've been financing and paying car note of $467/Mth. Why on earth to date is my balance due about $10,000 still owed😳. It takes no rocket scientist to see there is something horribly wrong. You mean to tell me 90% of all my payments went to interest and hardly none to the principal. And then I get harassing/disrespectful calls even the day before and day of when car payment is due🤬smdh. I recently fell 1 car payment behind and they're talking repossession. Where in the the 🌎 they do that at? I wouldn't never recommend this scam low ball of a company to anyone. At the time I was desperate and credit wasn't too good. But now I've rebuilt my credit and will move on to better service and quality. Do yourself a favor.     The worst when it comes to communication, every other 6 months they have a new policy. Service department is the worse, I had to find an outside machine and I’m still under warranty. Sad. Overall I love my car but I wish I had got it somewhere else. 2/10 I’ll recommend.

    My advice to anyone looking for a decent car stay away from J D Byrider. I bought a 2012 KIA Soul off of them, it was the biggest mistake I ever made of going there for a car. The staff is not courteous there, they are rude & ignorant. My car failed 2 inspections the 2yrs I had the car, with a $350 per month payment. It had 3 recalls, 21 visits back & forth to be serviced for many problems. They do not give you a loaner car if it needs to be serviced. I was 1 payment late due to the death of my 43yr old son. They are heartless & rude, & repoed that junk KIA Soul, lousy gas mileage, 12 miles to the gallon. Kias are junk, stay away from J D Byrider. They have a line of junk cars they dump off on customers.

    I did not even get a letter regarding the Kia being late on 1 1/2 payments late. As I said, my son died, I had to pay the funeral costs. Byrider is the worse place anyone can go to buy a car!!!! They are hateful & mean, I never dealt with such a rotten car dealership in my life. Trust me, do not buy your car there, you will regret it greatly!!!

    Worst scamming company on the planet! These scammers basically force you into signing a promise to pay retail installment contract which is total fraud and they are so disrespectful and nasty to consumers! They violate consumer laws and violate the fair credit reporting act as they report false information! They lie and basically laugh in your face and state that you signed the paperwork so good luck with your complaints (which I have them on recording saying this)! They never enclosed the information that is required under the Truth in Lending Act.

    Every charge that is on the so called retail contract is multiple thousands of dollars more than I agreed to and the price of the vehicle that is only valued by KBB of $2350. I was charged over $26000 for a vehicle that is a 2011 Ford Edge with over 121000 miles and I traded in a vehicle that I was offered $450 in beginning. After what was owed was handled I was charged the $450 supposed to be credit. But they added into the contract as another finance charge!!! This company needs to be shut down and sued for every dollar they have made plus billions extra and they need to be out in prison for the rest of their lives and never able to open or do any business in the USA! And I will not stop until this happens!!!! Stay away from these con artist.

    I have been with this car dealership for two years and wish I had done better research before getting a used car from them. I’ve learned that people on hard times usually uses this company due to their high approval rate. Afterwards, purchaser remorse is very common for the customers who are mostly living paycheck to paycheck. Vehicles are high priced and usually not worth the value of purchase. Customer has to deal with condescending account managers whom are rude. Who thinks auto pay solve that customer issue instead of having a more professional demeanor when dealing with emotional customers. Who are sometimes usually using their last or borrowing funds just to make payments.

    They consistently reminds you they offer no grace period. High unreasonable payments terms and very poor customer service with no grace or consideration to the customer make it problematic ordeal. If I can return the car voluntarily without it being considered a repo I would. According to most reviews I’ve read good and bad. Most who used this service would return vehicles if could. I actually know one person who did say they had to make a fuss in order to.

    This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my entire life... We bought a vehicle that we were told was a good running vehicle... Oh boy were we lied to. A week later the check engine light comes on and the car is acting funny. So we take it to the shop and have it looked at. They say they fixed it then we get the vehicle back the next day. That same day the check engine light comes on again... We take it back to them they keep it over the weekend and say they fixed it.

    We get the car back and that same day the check engine light comes on again and it's having the exact same issues... By this time we are frustrated because we have drove the car a total of 4 days and we are still making payments on it but we are not allowed to trade it in for a different vehicle.. I'm not sure how this is even legal. I have spoke to an attorney and this is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life. Do not go to JD Byrider. The 1.8 Star review should be a negative 1.8 stars. I will tell all of my friends to go on here and leave a one-star review because they need to be shut down.

    Pinnellas Park is Worst and dirtiest service ever. Our car came back, not once, but twice, a filthy and greasy mess, with all our belongings toss about the car. Also, the second time it came back rat infested, and it did not go there that way and in fast never had a rat, let alone bug issue in its life. In fact, the car was immensely cleaned before it was dropped back off because of the recent way it was returned to us weeks prior. I would given zero stars but you had to pick at least one.

    I apologize in advance for the long text. This is the second minivan I am buying with your company. 1st one has been paid off. Just bought another a month and a half ago. I had the van for 3 weeks when it had an issue. I normally fix things myself as I am certified to do so but it's under warranty so I called the Clarksburg byrider where I bought it. Never had any issues with you guys. I have even sent down 4 or 5 people who bought vehicles from you. I take it to a local garage as they told me to.

    A week later I get a call from the garage asking me (what do I want to do with this van). I told them the issue and they said "OK we will look at it." 2 weeks go by... I call for an update... They say and I quote, "The new engine is on the way." I said, "Does it need one?" She said, "That's what you wanted..." I said, "I didn't tell you what vehicle is mine yet." So I then told her and they said, "OK we will look at it." Another week goes by. I call and they said, "I think it need a transmission, we will look at it today..."

    Another week's goes by and I have called the Clarksburg customer service and spoke to a lady there who was helpful and said, "I'll call and see." She calls me back the next day and told me. They are going to look at it today. A few more days go by. I call Clarksburg again. She said, "I just spoke to them..." They are pulling it in the garage today and will let me know. Keep in mind I live literally 30 seconds away and drive past the garage every day and the van has yet to even move since I parked it the day I dropped it off a month ago.

    Weeds still in front of the tires so I know they didn't move it. Well last week Clarksburg calls me and tells me it needs a new transmission and she ordered it and it will be in Wed the 25. And they will work on it then. I have been without my vehicle for a month and it took 4 weeks to get a diagnosis. Which I don't know how they did as it still sits in the same spot and we have GPS so I know it didn't move. I was told a few more weeks to fix it, I still make my payments of course and I'm 1100 dollars in rental fees because my wife needs to get around. And I was told I still have to pay a 50 deductible.

    I don't care about 50 dollars but it's the principal. I know I won't get a response from anyone but wanted you to know I will never buy from JD Byrider again. And will advise everyone how I was treated. All I wanted was a phone call or to be treated like a customer. And all I received was a month and a half without my vehicle and I assume another month still before I get it back. If I don't have it back by next week or any contract from anyone then you can keep the van.

I’ve had my vehicle for almost 4 years now and have never missed a payment. I was going to be one day late and she threatened to come get my vehicle. She really thinks she is somebody because she can sit behind a Saturday desk and bully people. Samantha ** needs to be fired ASAP!!     Earlier this year I had a heart attack and was in the hospital and couldn't work. My car was gone because they didn't know why I couldn't pay. Long story short when I was able to talk to Ms. Christy, she helped me stay in my car and worked with me until I got all caught up. I'm still driving my car and almost finished with my contract because of the customer service I was given. I must say I was shocked that they cared as much as they do.     I bought my first car through JD Byrider 4 years ago. I loved the car! I had absolutely no trouble for at least 1 year. Even when I did have trouble, they fixed it right away. Well.... now I've bought a second car from them. I bought it June 26, one month ago. I have had absolutely NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. They say they've fixed it and then the same problem happens again! They told me it will cost me 6,000 to get a new they put me on a payment plan which was great but eight months later I need another engine, same problem with the first engine. How does the same problem happen in less than a year with a new engine. It doesn’t they didn’t give me a new engine it was used and they said it was new. That is called false sells.     They are snakes! They sold me a car with a crazy interest rate, and the last 3 years I've had the vehicle I've done nothing but paid them and paid for maintenance. 3 engines in 3 years is crazy. Didn't want to let me out of the bogus contract, stole warranty money, told soooooo many lies, and their auto shop is responsible for messing my truck up to keep me coming back and paying out money. I can go on and on but we all need our money back!!!! I've given $1000's of dollars for a vehicle that costs more to fix than it's worth. The blue book value is $1800 and I still owe $13000... the work needed is over $8000 but they want money out threaten to take it and me my credit up. I just went and got a new car and on Monday I'll be taking them their truck back and giving them their keys. I'm currently looking into suing them for at least half of my money back.

    My son who is deaf purchased a car from this place before, and didn't have any real issues other than the car was overpriced. He returned again to buy his second car unfortunately it was wrecked and had to be totaled. So he goes again at the waiting two weeks to get another car, and we go and pick out a car for him, actually they have picked the car out for him which I didn't like from the beginning. Anyway, they know my son is deaf and they thought I was his certified interpreter.

    I told them that my son either needed closed caption or an interpreter. They had neither, and I mentioned that maybe they need to start doing that because of ADA my son should have had his rights where he was able to understand and interpret the material that was presented to him rather than having me an uncertified interpreter relay the information to him. One of the employees got upset with me because we have been sitting there for 4 hours while their computer was down and also had to wait while they printed 20 pages of paperwork they made a mistake and wanted us to wait 10 more minutes to to correct the paperwork. At this point, my son and I were both tired and kind of disgusted because he wasn't going to be able to get what he needed read to him correctly and I responded to the salesperson that I was not a certified interpreter and if I interpreted something wrong it was going to be on them.

    This employee rudely asked me, "Aren't you his mom, can't you interpret for him?" And I replied no because I wanted him to have everything he needed to know. The young lady who was president at the closing proceeded to look at my son, speak directly to him, trying to read a 30-minute closing documents that my son could not even hear or understand and I could not interpret.

    They really got belligerent then I told that, "We would like our down payment back" and that we would go to another dealer who had better service and ware very professional, a price salesperson had also asked my son to put down false information about what he pays for rent. Anyway, to make a long story short we got our money back, the man continued to try to talk to my son, I told him to forget it, we're done, went to another dealership, got son got a car, they made arrangements so everything could be closed captioned and he could understand for himself and sign his own papers I appreciate it that. Discrimination comes in all forms, you cannot discriminate against deaf people either.

    This auto dealership is a great dealership to go to when you're hard to finance. Although I did not leave with a car today, they're financing manager, Tonya, was more than helpful. She walked me through the process but gave me more sound advice about my financials than anyone could have. She saw I was in a difficult situation and she was very compassionate, understanding and just down to earth. She saw me as more than a potential sale for her company, she truly saw me as a human being. That means a lot to consumers when you're in a pinch.

    I purchased a vehicle almost 3 and 1/2 years ago and it has been a great car- 2012 Ford Fusion. Process was easy and it's great that they include the sales tax. Negatives-- I recently inquired about trading in the car for a newer one- miles were creeping up, wanted something different. Was told that I was upside down in the car-- which everyone knows that you pay over the value of car at purchase and that it would require a substantial down payment based on my credit-yet they claim credit isn't an issue(?). I have made every payment on time and always maintain full coverage insurance. So unless you plan to keep the vehicle until it's paid off it might be wiser to shop around.

    They are a fraud a scam. I got a car from them end of 2017. Immediately I had problems. They told me nothing was wrong. I told them it was leaking oil and they said I was seeing things. I took it to an Jiffy Lube and they showed me what was wrong and printed a sheet out. I took that back to the J.D. Byrider and they still refused to fix it. Several months later the engine is toast. They had my pic between 2 very high mileage cars neither I wanted and they were even worse. The car they traded it for they had it more than I ever had it. The transmission light was on and they told me I had to pay out of pocket to get it fix. I told them come get your car because this is not what I paid for in my contract. 2 lemons given and nothing done.

    I'm writing this hopeful to help others from this company, do not buy from this company, my fiancé got a suv from them, the car turns off when in traffic or the car is stopped at a traffic light, the car suppders all the time and its on engine light is on, he has taken the car back more than 5 times to service to fix, the same day the car has done the same when taken from service department or even two days later, he called CNAC and never got a answer or a resolution, they hung up the phone in his face, I feel like these problems should be addressed above any regular court and laws should be changed so companies such as this should be accountable for themselves, I will seek that help if I have to and see who I can call to get him help.

    He told them why he needed the car due to his son having major surgery (liver transplant) and he also himself is disabled as well so that would say, "Hey I as a customer don't need problems. I need a safe reliable car" and the warranty isn't even fair due to all the problems these cars have, no company can give a accuse that this is a machine with parts and it has parts and the cars are machine due to wear and tear, these cars aren't even safe to be on the road for not just them but others who share the the road with them as well, when the cars are turning off in traffic this is dangerous beyond levels, his life and children ride in the car with him as well (I have too), what should matter is that your customer is safe and their family.

    I myself have worked for car companies that sold cars and as a worker of the automotive world, is that we keep workers and families safe, this isn't what this company is about, how do you sleep at night knowing your company is making lives harder putting people in unsafe conditions on the road and need help due to whatever circumstances they may had before the car purchase regardless if it was a repo or a just help needing a car you've took advantage of too many people and I feel like the disabled which is against the law as well, those who need help should get that help and a good decent car as well as a safe vehicles for everyone, especially those who are disabled on a fixed income knowing women have children riding with them or someone have family or friends in the car with them, you have not only put our lives at risk but the public lives at risk too.

    These practices they have are beyond unreal, unfair and unsafe due to the conditions of these car have, your company promised to give great service and it's been the total opposite of what the promises and practice this company has shown, I don't have to lie about what I witness nor any reason to lie cause the money isn't coming from me so I wouldn't write this long complaint for nothing. Do not I mean do not buy a car from them. You will be sorry and to see someone go through this is so disgusting to me. I feel sorry for the people who trusted this company with their life to only give excuses to why they aren't morally concerned of the safety of their customer and the customer family or the public, at this point it's no excuse that this company can give other than I feel should be legally accountable for every individual that have gotten a car from Byrider.

    If you know your cars have issues due to being old un fixable, a risk and not only will make it hard to get fix and only option will be give the car back then all the company will due is set the car back on the lot to give the problem to the next customer, I will seek whatever legal company to help not only families but the public (you) byryder how you put so many at risk with selling unsafe vehicles.     If I could leave 0 stars I would trust me! First off, all of their cars are horrible! Just look at other reviews. They’ll continue to bring the car in to be “fixed” just for them to mess it up even more. I had my car for 6 months & within that time frame literally had to bring it back 4-5 times to be fixed! Within the first two months the car had to be fixed & I had to come out of pocket. Brakes & rotors both worn out twice! In the past week I had to bring my car in because the engine light came on. They so called fixed it just for hours later for it to shut off again. I explained to them I was going to make a payment & when I went to go pick up my car today, they refused to give it to me for late payment. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!

    Rey is rude as hell. He doesn’t care about your situation. The other ** lady in the front with the long hair tried to call the cops on us all because we asked to get our stuff out the car. Because we will not be returning for it. Jamie laughed in my face & told me he didn’t have to give me any of belongings in the car technically which I found odd.     I am a former customer of JD Byrider and I was a satisfied customer and I still have the vehicle. My experience about 4 years ago was great. However when my son was looking to purchase a car he wanted to go JD Byrider since he knew the great experience I had. On April 20, 2024 we went to purchase a vehicle. My son had the deposit and the stable income. After speaking to the sales agent we had to just wait for financial department for the budget. Well we spoke to CORY!!!! He was the worst person. He interrogated my son, and he wanted to know he wanted to know why he was looking for a car. He also asked why he could not just keep using my vehicle. Then he questioned him about changing jobs and stated he needed to know about the gap in employment.

    My son worked at the Waffle House for about 10 years and did not have a gap. He started a new job for better pay and something different. He just kept saying you have a gap and want his last pay information from this past February. He then repeatedly kept asking about my 2 vehicles and we explained that I was not trading them in. Again he had the deposit and the income. He continued to ask about my vehicle and I had to get upset and tell him that we are not trading in my vehicles. He then came back and said that my son needed 1500 and a trade. Now make this make sense.

    This was a horrible experience and BUYER BEWARE OF Buyer beware of Cory as you will not be talked to with respect but you will be interrogated. Buyer beware of Cory as you will not be talked to with respect but you will be interrogated... Also Cory never made eye contact and I can't trust someone that does not look at you when they are talking business. My son did not get discourage and went somewhere else and was treated with respect and he had the income, down payment and the budget. I will never refer anyone to JD Byrider.

    My experience to start was great. Mind you, this was back in November. I Got approved, got the vehicle, and was told there was ZERO issues wrong with it. was told there were no recalls on the car, everything was in mint condition for a used car and was told this to be satisfied. I got the warranty just in case anything would happen. The garage wouldn't make an appointment for me to get an oil change and insisted I left my job to go get one. My starter stopped working and the Dartmouth Location refused me service and I had to get it towed to a shop near my job and pay $800 for the job to be done!!

    I was promised the vehicle was just a loud vehicle and there wasn't an exhaust leak. While it was in the shop, the mechanic informed me I had a exhaust leak and needed to fix, that was another $500. DO NOT GET THE WARRANTY. This dealership doesn't honor it. I got my vehicle from Jay P at the Dartmouth location. Everything he said was a lie. every time I tried to call him in my 30 day grace period, He wasn't around to answer. Whenever I went into the dealership, he wasn't around. I spent almost $20k on this vehicle. I shouldn't have issues like this after 5 months of owning it and only driving it 40 miles a week.

    Purchased a car from J.D. Byrider of Kokomo, Indiana. If there was a way to give no stars, I would. We have purchased many cars in our lifetime, and this was by far the worst experience ever. We never missed a payment and paid off the car early. First, a week after we purchased the car, the driver seat belt stopped releasing. My Wife was stuck in the vehicle several times. They said this was not covered under the warranty! Then, after two months, the AC stopped working, and they said this was not covered under the warranty.

    Then, a couple days later, the backup camera stopped working, and they said this was not covered under the warranty. A couple days later, one of the tire pressure sensors stopped working, and they said this was not covered under the warranty. Three months in, the fuel pump went out... Guess what they said? Yup, it wasn't covered under the warranty. When I complained, they said I should have purchased the optional extra warranty. I stopped calling them. Then, fast forward to my early pay off. They said they were going to mail the title and extra key to us. We waited a month, but never received it. So we called them back, and they told us they had just mailed it and to give it a few more days. We waited another month, and it never came. I called them back, and they said it was just mailed. I told them that's the same thing they said last time. They said there was some confusion and to wait a few more days.

    I offered to just come and pick it up, and they said it had already been mailed. So we waited ANOTHER MONTH, and still no title or extra key. We called one more time, and they said it was just mailed the prior Thursday!!! We waited another couple weeks, and it never came. So we got online and ordered a new title through the BMV Website. But they had the mailing address as JD Byrider of Kokomo and would not let us change it because the lien was still on the title. So we paid the $15 and it got mailed to JD Byrider of Kokomo. We waited a month, and then called JD Byrider in Kokomo, and they said they already mailed it.

    It still NEVER CAME! So we drove over to JD Byrider of Kokomo and walked in, and they handed us the title before I even announced who I was.

    The title was the replacement title we had ordered. And they signed off the lien and dated it a few weeks prior, so they had the title right after I ordered it. They still would not give us the extra key! With terrible interest rates they charge, and the terrible, and borderline fraudulent, service and lack of warranty, I cannot believe this company is still in business! Don't buy from them, ever! You will regret it.

    Don't even risk it. I really expect an orange title for all the things wrong with the car. After 1yr I've put $20000 dollars worth of work and it cost. I promise you they'll rip you off too. After a few months needed an engine hubs, calipers, sensors. A/c compressor went out. Pulley fell off. Warranty doesn't cover and can't drive the car. PLEASE DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF. I regret it.

    I bought my car from JD Byrider 2021. I moved away 4 hours from the original Byrider for work, a week after I got the car. That summer, having the car for a couple of months, the engine light turns on and eventually no longer shifts gears and long story short, it needs a new transmission. Byrider from previous location, agreed to uphold the warranty seeing that I could not go to the original location. The new Byrider says it will be a month before they will look at it and I'm not prioritized because I didn't get the car from them. 1 month later of new Byrider finally able to look at the transmission- they say it will be another month to replace it. So I paid $2000 for the car to be towed to original Byrider. They fixed it in 2 weeks.

    3 months later after this, the alternator goes out. Mind you, that's not under warranty. I get that fixed at a local shop and pay $3000. The engine light goes on again. New Byrider told me it was something to do with the computer, however when I got multiple insights from other shops, it turned out to needing a new starter. So I only paid $500, versus what Byrider quoted me at $1,500. They refused to replace the starter, and refused to physically look at the car and only the codes. Now we are at December 2023, and my car doesn't shift gear again. It has a new transmission and yet, it's having the exact same problem previously. And the warranty on it is now expired, as of 3 months.

    Take it to Byrider, they tell me it needs to replaced (again). Original Byrider agrees to pay for half of the estimated cost of the replacement and I pay the other half. The order for a new transmission and they said it would be 3 days for it to arrive and 1 full day to install. 2 weeks after waiting for that delivery, of which I physically went to this Byrider to get updates, there were excuses every time of why it hasn't come in. Now, my car has been with them for 35 days. They told me it would be fixed by Jan. 29, 2024. I call them, and they tell me they never ordered the transmission and towed my car to a specialist transmission shop to rebuild the current one. Which will be 2 weeks to do. No one had asked me if they could do that. No one got my consent for the car to go somewhere else. And no one gave me a new estimate of what this would be, because now they're adding on towing (they sent it 20 miles away) for both ways.

    After physically going to the Byrider office and asking them why they towed my car away without asking me first, they replied, "We were being pro-active in fixing your car. But we can tow it back and be done with this conversation." They said they changed their minds on ordering the parts and did not think they needed consent for the changes. And here we are, 35 days without my car. Original Byrider had no idea this was happening because no communication ever happened and not able to help now that the plans have changed, so did the estimation, so therefore I would be paying a lot more than originally agreed to. All of them are unhelpful, lie every step of the way and then tell me, "I'm not dealing with you with this issue."

    I'm giving anyone who reads this review fair warning. You'd be wise to take your business elsewhere. There was several issues with the vehicle I purchased. Had to miss work because they don't offer loaner vehicles, and I couldn't afford to do so on my own. They had my car for nearly a month and upon returning it to me the same issues still existed, in fact it was returned with more issues than before. Only time they have to deal with you is if your making a payment. Otherwise be prepared to call and get no response. Customer service personnel are rude and petty. Was put on hold for over an hour because the person answering the phone said I was calling too much.

    I was on time with my payments. My car was deemed a total loss through my insurance. Only owed little over $9,000 insurance. Paid 7600. Only ended up owing a little over 1800 but then they want to try to charge me interest and fees on a vehicle that I don't even have and when I question them about it and told them that I don't see it anywhere in my contract.     Please trust me when I say DO NOT PURCHASE VEHICLE from this scam of a place. It will be the worst financial decision you have ever made in your life. No matter how desperate you are… DON’T DO IT!! Number one, after you have paid off your loan with interest, you will end up paying triple what the car was worth. I found the history of the car I bought… It was about 10k less than what they sold it to me for and about 18k less than what I will have paid for it when it is all said and done.

    Yes, they are super nice, and helpful and it makes you feel like no way they will screw you, but do not trust them. That is their job - to sale crappy, half-broke down vehicles to desperate people with unsatisfactory credit. They prey on people who need a vehicle and will do anything to have transportation. I have only had mine since July, and I have a page front and back written of what all is wrong with mine. I had it 3 days and the AC went out… in July. They told me I couldn’t bring it for 3 weeks. During that time, it shut down while driving down the road multiple times, would still run even after being turned off, the hood was practically sealed shut where we had to use a crowbar to open it, there was NOT ONE DROP of fluid in it: no transmission fluid, no brake fluid, no coolant, NO OIL…. NONE. Then the key wouldn’t turn back to turn the car off, I had to use a screwdriver.

    Now the car won’t start at all. I have barely had this ** for 2 months. Oh, and I called to reschedule my appointment a week ahead of time and he told me it would be another month and a half, or I could just bring it and drop it off, but he wouldn’t know when he would get to it. Could be a day, a week, a month. At the time I couldn’t be without a vehicle, so I was waiting. Now I don’t even have a way to get it there. Which I am sure all they will do is screw with it more so it will have to be put in the shop over and over. This is what they are good at. They should not be able to be in business. This is the most crooked business practice I have ever seen. I can’t believe they are able to get away with doing hard working people this way.

    So many regrets and yet financing a car from this place would be my biggest regret. They make the buying process so easy until you’re off the lot. I started having so many problems with the car I bought not even a month after getting it, the maintenance guy knew me by name. If the car breaks down they’ll keep it for days, or in my case, weeks with no real ET on when it’ll be done.. Mine was being “fixed” for almost 3 weeks, in that time I lost my job because I couldn’t make it in (oh yeah they don’t offer rentals under ANY circumstances).     They claim to help you, sure they give affordable monthly payments but the total price of the car I was buying they charged 3 times what it was worth. A couple months later I had engine problems. Bring it to them. They make me wait 2 weeks then they have it for a month to replace the engine but they put the same type of engine in and it was used, ran into the same problem with the engine again. They give no rental/loaner car while your car is being worked on. They don't help you at all. They screw you over. It got repoed. They sold it at auction for double what it was worth then sued me. They more than made their profit and still sued me for more. They are so greedy. Will never recommend them to anyone.

    My first car from them, every time it rain, water fill my floorboard from the sunroof. Took it to their shop many times. Always said it was fixed, never was so it broke down. They found water in my oil so the engine is blown. They basically force me into another car. I learn to take my car to my shops instead of them.     I've purchased 4 cars from Byrider. I've referred 5 people to Byrider, all of which purchased cars. They claim there's a referral bonus but I had to call every week for 3 months to finally get it. There's a $70 tow reimbursement but by the time I got it I couldn't cash the check. It was only good for 90 days and the shop manager had left it on his desk. I didn't even receive it til it was too late. But the worst of it, on 3/14/22 I traded the car in. The dealer was given a 10 day payoff amount of $11966.73 and sent a check for that amount.

    On 3/18/22 I made my regular payment of $202.94. On 4/12/22 I received a letter stating my account is officially closed but no overpayment check. I just got off the phone with CNAC and they informed me that they just issued a check for a $33.19 overpayment, not $202.94. I tried to plead and argue my case but to no avail. Bottom line, I'll walk everywhere I go before I ever deal with Byrider's ineptitude or CNAC's greed, corruption, callousness and lies ever again and I STRONGLY recommend you do the same. Avoid Byrider/CNAC like the plague....unless you enjoy getting screwed over.

    I was told by the service department I needed a new engine ASAP. However, not only have I been waiting over 2 weeks for the new engine to arrive at the shop- I was informed that the engine is not new but a rebuilt engine, AND that once the engine arrive that there are 6-7 cars ahead of mine. I was told that there were 6-7 cars ahead of mine over two weeks ago when I took the car to get checked out by the service department.

    My engine is ready to blow any day and the service department acts like they do not care, nor does it seem like they take their customer service seriously. How is it that they still have the same amount of cars left to service before mine when it's been over 2 weeks ago? Also, they offer rental reimbursement up to $27/day. You can't rent a car for anything less than $35-$40/day, and if I were to rent a car AND have to wait for the cars that are ahead of mine, I'll be out hundreds or thousand of dollars. I am highly disappointed in myself for believing that JD Byrider was a reliable company to buy a car from. I could've taken my business elsewhere because my credit is not that bad and I had a good down payment amount. I just chose this lot because it was close to home and thought a $50 deductible for major car issues was a great deal. I was wrong.

    Bought a 2009 jeep liberty thru the dealership, salesperson gives you all the hype on why to buy and #1 was warranty offered which customer pays for. That's why you purchase a $4500 for over $10,000 interest rate and warranty is included in that price, however hidden. Wife was very interested in vehicle and because of our winters wanted 4 wheel drive not the awd crap. At test drive jeep was loud and had a hole in muffler and a weak/bad battery.

    They replaced battery next day after jumping to get it there, their falsified vehicle inspection report stated no problems including exhaust, I had to pay parts and labor on muffler, front axle seals and boots leak, which anywhere that would be included in driveline warranty, transfer case and rear end started to howl, also a driveline issue that would be a warrantable item, but this dealership does zero warranty, they cover nothing and have not covered anything, I'm sure somewhere they even got me for the battery, sale person told us, "You essentially get a bumper to bumper warranty for 3yrs or 36000 miles which is a good feeling to know that if anything happens you have no worries," that is also false info. You will over pay and pay for everything, do not buy from there, save your money and just buy a good used vehicle from a private party or another dealership that offers in house financing. Stay away from here, very far away,

    Unfortunately I am going through rough times right now, laid off from my job and I'm the only one that works, however I start a new job in a couple days. I called CNAC and requested for my automatic payment not be ran on a Friday but I can make the payment in a couple days on this coming Tuesday (Next unemployment check). It was agreed upon and I sent the young lady the info she requested. My payment still came out and my "account specialist", told me to ask my friends and family for the money and she then proceeded to tell me, "the girl who set this up is new so there's nothing we can do about this payment". I asked to speak with another manager and she informed me he will call me back. He called me back and proceeded to ask me what I spend my money on, then blamed the young lady that approved this AGAIN. Horrid customer service and human beings as well.

    Well my experience with this dealership is as follows:. I have been trying to get a vehicle since my previous lien holder, Santander Consumer USA, repossessed my 2017 Nissan Versa during the middle of the pandemic, (September 2020) and never responded to my query about getting help with getting caught up. This action has caused me considerable amount of financial and emotional issues and continues now.     Due to my credit I was not able to buy a car anywhere else except JD Byrider with their buy here pay here. They do their own finance with their own bank onsite and they don't go by your credit score. In other words they treat you like a person and don't just see you as a number on a ** credit report like all the rest of the dealerships do. They went by my income and Craig was my dealer. He was great upfront with me. Worked with me and he didn't try to push me into a newer year or current year car like other dealers do knowing I couldn't afford the payments.     I purchased my vehicle 2 years ago. I was talked into getting the warranties and it all seemed like a good deal until the first time I had to use it and nothing was covered. Needless to say my car started falling apart within the 2 years I have had it so I traded it in. I purchased a vehicle not from JdByrider but a different company. Well according to Cnac we are financially responsible for car payments until they receive the payoff on the car. At the time of trade in I did sign power of attorney of the vehicle to the new company indicating I was no longer responsible. Well not according to Cnac. We accrue interest every single day until it’s paid off. Horrible horrible experience with dealing and speaking with them. Never would recommend them even in desperate need.

    Driving my car the first day it installed out, at a light, then my ABS light came on in the car wouldn’t go, I had no pick me up, so I called the mechanic he told me I had to bring it in I told him, I couldn’t do that at the time because, I have to work to pay for the car, He sent me back to the manager, I spoke to the manager and told him look this shouldn’t be happening, It’s a used car but it’s new to me and you guys let it go off the lot like this, putting me in danger, I did tell them, I need the car by certain time or a certain date and they met that day or I wasn’t buying it, after speaking with the manager not being rude not being mean just said I’ll just bring it back, I can’t just run around to get a car fixed. It should’ve been already been taken care of, and so I told him goodbye and that was it.

    He called me back three times I didn’t answer because, I was in the middle of a doctors appointment at a hospital, when I finally called him back he told me that we rushed for you and this is why this happened. I told him that’s not an excuse. The car shouldn’t be acting up like this. If you thought it was on safe you shouldn’t let it off the lot. I also said to him why didn’t they go to the car before they had me do the test drive and, I found the problem with the car. Why would you have people test drive a car that's broken and expect them to spend a lot of money on a car because you’re already a high price.

    He started to call me an idiot, and told me that I was ignorant, I said to him I’m not being disrespectful. I’m not calling you names, then he stated that he should’ve never done business with me and I should’ve never bought the car from them and that they should’ve never done any business with me then to bring the car back that I was an idiot. I continue to tell him why are you being disrespectful? I was not disrespectful in anyway, Now I have a broken car and I don’t wanna deal with that manager.     I brought a 2007 Camry from them with less than 110,000 miles on it. Brakes started squeaking the next day I received it from them, then 2 weeks later the alternator went out on the car, instead of taking it to them because I needed the car to get back and forth to work my husband fixed both, then 2 weeks after that the transmission went on it and now it's currently at the shop for almost 10 days. In the meantime I get no communication from them unless I call them and then I get we ordered the transmission. It was suppose to come in on Monday, then it's, "It'll will be here on Wednesday. So your car will be ready on Thursday evening or Friday afternoon for sure." I call thursday afternoon and manager seems clueless as to what's happening with the transmission. I'm spending all this money on Lyft's to get back and forth to work and they don't care, they also still keep taking your car note from you. This is the worst place I have ever went.

    Do not go here if you value your life and the lives of your family!!! My car has had nothing but issues day 1 I have had to spend hundreds on rentals and repairs and they just ignore repeated attempts to contact management. Their service manager is either incompetent, lazy or deliberately not fixing issues so I'll have to return and pay more for repairs that should have been done already when I continue to question it.

    And now my engine is shaking motor mounts are visibly gone and they are refusing to look at it to order the parts. Instead they want to wait a week and then hold the car all weekend which will again cost us money to rent a car. I have filed complaints and yet they still refuse to return calls. If my family dies then they'll listen. Their staff is horrific and do not care about their clients at all. They lied and their warranty is trash. It was the only reason we went through them because they swore their cars were covered and safe. And now they want to bleed us dry and risk our lives over their own pure laziness.

My vehicle engine blew on 3/9/2021, it was towed to the Dayton location and I was advised it would take 4 weeks to fix so I called this location and talked to the service manager Doug who advised me he could have my vehicle fixed in 4 days. Long story short Doug quit, nobody knew anything about my car and I just got it back today 4/6/2021 and paid over $1300 for a rental car on top of still making my car payment.     Since becoming a cs with this company...I have had nothing but grief. I have had to have my vehicle towed 2x, since January at which this company does not reimburse. So out of pocket cost to me of 500.00 plus cost of repairs, bc the warranty you get covers absolutely NOTHING! Oh and don't fall on hard times, and need an extension...They do not do those according to CNAC rep, even though I had it done 1 before...But ok.     I purchased a car 3 months ago a 2012 Nissan Versa. I have called and explained that the car needs to go in again. The check engine light is on and it sounds like it’s literally going to fall apart as I am driving it. I brought it to them for them to fix within the first month as you can see it wasn’t fixed.     I purchased my vehicle from J.D. Byrider at twice the amount the car was worth! I paid on my vehicle and stayed green in my loan the interest regardless of how far Ahead. I was paid usually up to a month ahead. My loan balance rarely dropped. Possibly due to the 21 percent interest and then to add insult to injury when someone totaled my parked vehicle instead of JD byrider closing out my loan because I had paid it down to 7,845.50 on a car that was only legally worth 2,200 I was told I would either take an insurance rollover into another one of their vehicles or be out of a car and still owe them the difference. When the vehicle was grossly overpriced at the date of purchase!

    And to want to roll the debt over and tack it onto another overpriced outdated vehicle is beyond predatory is robbery! Oh No. They lie and tell you they are giving you gap insurance when actually they don’t offer gap insurance. They are a blood bank and should be put out of business and any review telling you differently is lying and being paid!

    So I got Preapproved online and then a sales person called and spoke to me over the phone and asked for additional information proof of residence proof of income ID etc. Then put all the information in and said they will call me back to let me know if I’m approved. An hour later I got the call stating that I was approved and come in the following day with a $500 down payment.

    Upon arrival I was asked to fill out the additional paperwork and write down 12 references which I thought was ridiculous.. My proof of income was bank statements and not a job with a check stub. I had already emailed the proof of income previous to arriving so now it changed and it was no longer accepted. Mind you I make over four grand a month! Nobody was kind rich. The guy we dealt with was very rude and unfriendly. Nobody in the facility was wearing masks which was very concerning and uncomfortable! Horrible vibes. 2 days of wasted time. An unnecessary hard inquiry on my credit! With zero results. They do not work with you. Very judgmental. Do not waste your time!     Terrible location to do business with. Program Consultant Cathy M. can be misleading with her charm and wit. She acts if she is there is to help, while she only wants your info to tease you about an approval. She makes false promises, claiming she can get you in a car same day. These are all lies. I had to reach out to her - waiting sometimes an hour for a response - remind her of my needs and interests in my car search, in thought I would be given courtesy service. The financial documents she created were not even based on what we discussed, such as the down payment was actually higher. She explained this was necessary and I would be approved by their financial company after an interview. Her attitude was often impatient and she often felt pressured, it seemed, to get a sale.

    After much disappointment and frustration, I reached out to the location manager named Betty. She instructed she would resolve some document issues and get me approved. This too was a lie. She denied me. She made up an excuse about my not having enough time on a job. Who has a enough time a job these days during the pandemic? We are all lucky to have gotten a job.     Last November I purchased a 2009 Ford Flex. Since that time it has been in JD Byrider West Liberty service department five times and I still have the same problem $500 later. They force you to buy $2,500 warranty but their service department has the worst mechanics I've ever seen. I just went there to build my credit up. The sales lady was really nice.     We went to JD Byrider and my wife fell in love with a Buick enclave, we went through the several hours of the process of buying a vehicle. On the way home the engine light came on, so we had to make appointment, we were told it was a minor repair and had to pay for the repair. On the way home the engine light came on again, this happened four or five times and Every time before we got the car home the engine light would be on and every time it would cost us more.     My vehicle was repossessed because I became ill and was hospitalized with no ability to call because my phone was turned off. It was during a worldwide pandemic Covid 19. I received no paperwork in the mail prior and was unable to access internet while laying in hospital intubated. I had no transportation, help or ability to pay bills or work because our country shut down and I have an autoimmune disease. I was advised to pick up my belongings from a recovery towing but was not informed my belongings would be thrown away and plates and registration would be destroyed. I finally got my debt paid to reclaim vehicle and was told I should have brought my plate. I was refused a temp plate and sent to recovery and told there that I would not be able to recover my property because of time lapse.

    Then J.D. Byrider and CNAC tell me that I can't have my vehicle till I get new plate but the title has been wiped, I have no new paperwork and they refuse to help me or give me the vehicle after all the fees have been paid and BMV can't help me because the car has been removed from registry and so I am wanting to sue the corporation for as much money as will open their eyes to the horrible way they treat their customers and for the damage they have done to my life when the car was due to be paid off in a short time and all my previous payments were on time until the COVID pandemic began.

    Purchased a 2010 Ford edge a year ago and has been nothing but problems, 4 hub bearings, 2 axles, all-wheel drive unit. When contacted JD Byrider, was told not their problem. Then when the Coronavirus hit and we asked for help they said they don't have to do anything for us. Now we're going to have to let it go back and we get screwed. Talk to a mechanic at JD Byrider and he said they are very shady, they won't fix anything important on the car that they just get them good enough to last a week. After that they will blame the customer for the problems to avoid pay to fix them. They would rather you get it repossessed so they can resell it and get another suckered stuck. He told me he has witnessed more than one car come through to be resold for the same amount. Take a bus, it will be cheaper.

    We went to dealer a month ago and was told finance would not approve due to part time ride share. We went back today because ride share program ends next week and will no longer be doing ride share, with an appointment to be told very rudely when we arrived that the finance department will not approve due to I initial application has ride share but it ended. Ride share was part time and have not made income from ride share since before COVID-19. We were told rudely from general manager the same thing.     The vehicle we have is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from JD Byrider, the problem with this one when we bought it was that the A/C wasn't working. Before we took it off the lot they were supposed to have fixed the A/C problem, a couple of months later I took a trip to Wisconsin and the A/C wasn't working. Finally yesterday hopefully it was fixed, even though it cost me 69.91, what I am saying is that if it was fixed correctly the first time I shouldn't of have any more problems with it. Also the battery was being drained of juice, I had to jump started a few times yesterday. They disconnected the GPS to see if that would stop the battery from losing power. You have some good mechanics at the Kalamazoo dealership, but I know that they have to follow orders like in a lot places. The lights to the airbags have come a few times but according to the shop manager I have to pay for the sensors.

    I would say stay far away from JD Byrider on Morse road. My car was towed to the shop twice. My radio still is broke twice and they can't get my radio fixed. Seriously this was an insurance claim. First time we got my car window wipers were still broke. My locks didn't work. My speakers were still out then I was sent to collections for refusing to pay since they didn't fix my car. Kim is not useful. She asked me what to do to fix my car and she manages the service center. What a JOKE. Please learn from me. Stay away. My car has not ra the same. My radio still broke. Nobody will help.     This is a place you should avoid at all cost. In my case I am pAying 4 times what the vehicle is worth. The vehicle was in horrible condition and now doesn't work. It would cost me another 2000 to have the vehicle fixed. JB said they could fix it but only if I got another loan and put down another down payment plus of course make regular payments. I didn't have the funds to fix the vehicle upfront. Other mechanics stated but was not worth fixing. These are cars that may be worth 1000 and your loan ends up being 10000. Stay away. Buy a car out the paper. You would be better off. This was the biggest mistake of my life.

    I bought the car 2010 for Focus in November 2019. The steering wheel had a cover on it so I didn't realize how much it was peeling. The whole dash makes rattling annoying noise. Now that summer is coming the air conditioning does not work and makes noise. On my second key fob that only worked for 2 weeks both times.     I was in a desperate situation back 2017 when I had no car and no job. I bought a 07 Pontiac Grand Prix for 1000 down and 382 a month. It did serve its purpose of going back and forth from my job but halfway through of having the car, it kept on dying while driving or even at the stoplight it would die. When I had it inspected they said it was my camshaft sensor. Well JD Byrider said that fixing that was not in their contract. I had a mechanic that said he would fix the sensor for reasonable amount. Every morning my husband had to mess with the battery to get the car started and this past weekend the car would not start at all. Even getting it jumped it would not work. The car was going to be 12000! The car is nothing in the market. People say it's a nice car but I think in my head, try driving it and you will think differently!

    I bought a 2007 Jeep Compass from JD Byrider. I am still paying my car note. I keep telling them I hear this noise and every time I take it in to them to check out they find something else wrong. I don’t drive this Jeep anywhere but to take my kids to and from school everyday. Sometimes I will go visit my family in Milwaukee. Now they say my struts are bad. They claim they put new ones on before I bought the Jeep. They want me to pay 350.00 to get it fixed. I don’t have that kind of money and have to pay the note too.
