    Okay, prepare yourselves...All this awesome stuff you've heard about JD Byrider....Lies, all lies! Not only did it take 5 1/2 hours to purchase a vehicle through these guys, but they pushed a vehicle on me that I didn't want. "To get the one I wanted it would have been $500 more down." Then, when I did drive off the lot, all this awesome customer service that you've probably heard about turned into rudeness and disrespect. They lied and told me I would have a payment every two weeks, and 10 days with the car, and they wanted an additional $500 down and three days later, they wanted a payment. So after they let me keep the vehicle for 10 days and because I couldn't come up with all that money, they wanted it back. So I gladly took the car back and now am fighting them to get my down payment back! These guys are rude, and made me feel like the biggest piece of shit that ever walked the earth.

    I refuse to ever go back there and would NEVER refer anyone to buy from them. And their "program" they talk about where they report all payments to all three credit bureaus, maybe if you could make it to when the first payment is due before they ask you to bring the vehicle back! Now this is going to be a hit on my credit. So they do the exact opposite of helping your credit. I DO NOT recommend ANYONE buy a vehicle from Byrider. You will certainly regret it. These guys think they are so much better than anyone else and basically say that to you. Stay away from Byrider!! They are rip offs! MY EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE!

    I went to J.D. Byrider in Meriden. They told me they would do the best for me because I had bad credit. I gave them all my info and they tell me that I can't give 300.00 for down payment and said I owe back taxes to town of Wallingford CT so I told them I will pay it and I would like a car with low mileage like no more than 70k. They said they would keep me posted and that I can afford a payment no more than 250 a month. Showed them my car and said I got it and the door in the middle was smashed. No problem when I called and told them I paid my tax bill. The lady said, "Your car still runs good. Why don't we fix the doors and you can take our a warranty with us so if the car breaks down you can fix it."

    I told them if I spend money on a new door how am I going to get a car? I have 158k on my car and want to trade it in before any major breakdown. Are you kidding me? They wanted me to keep my car and fix the door and get a warranty from there. I will save a little more and go to Wallingford auto park enterprise rental car sales or CarMax. Do not go to JD byrider. They are crooked and useless. I wanted to go there because I have bad credit. I will add to what I have and go elsewhere.

    This place is a joke. Said I was approved for $299 down. Everything was great. Then they call me the day I’m supposed to pick out a vehicle and tell me I’m not approved. What a joke wasting my time. I wound never buy or recommend anybody to go to this place. I don’t care even if it’s last resort. Crooks by nature. Will never recommend anybody to go here.

    Do not go to J.D. Byrider. I went there today, they overprice their vehicles and I test drive two, they both had high mileage on them for the year they are. I test drove a Nissan Sentra SV 2019. It has 119,000 miles on it and they wanted 15,900 for it and the defrost wouldn’t work. They said they fix that. Also, I couldn’t get the key fob to lock all of the doors. The back one would lock but not the front one. I tested it. They wanted 15,900 for the 2016 ford fusion se. It has 155,000 miles on it ecoboost. My Apr would have been 21%.

    So, we went in and the wifi was out so our appointment was pushed back, But instead of telling us to come back another day they had us comeback a lil later and tried to get us a car even after closing so very appreciated.

    Byrider Terre Haute commits fraud by using your credit card to purchase things without your permission like insurance that they are not licensed to sell you. And if you deal with cnac according to the licensing from the state can not loan money. They are listed as a debt collector not a loan service.

    Simply do not get a car from this place, this is definitely not your last resort! There is much better! They give loans that have 22% apr or higher, they prey on those looking to build their credit. Payments every two weeks are high, you’ll be paying 600 a month almost for an older vehicle that doesn’t run properly. And their contract tries to lock you in no matter if you have the car or they have it. RUN!

    I can’t leave 0 stars but I would if I could. I got my car less than 6 months ago with this after being told I could only choose the one car they offered. Needing a car I went with it. But here we are not even six months later and my engine is blown. My mechanic found metal shavings in my engine which is a long term thing. Also other issues with the vehicle. Online it tells you what day your note is due and I paid on that day but they came and picked up my car saying I was a day late on my note. Then charged me a crazy fee just to get it back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

    Before I drove an hour and half over here I called and spoke with Jessica and told her my situation and down payment as I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time. She assured me that I was able to get a car when I came to my appointment. We get to the appointment and then they run my credit and come back to tell me they need $2000 down and a co signer which I advised Jessica that I had neither. They wasted 3 hours of my time and work 3rd shift and still have no car!!! They put you in a cube and just leave you then come and ask the same questions as before! If I could give you a zero star, I would!!!!

    My heater went out for the second time in a year. I called Donnie. He got me right in at 2:00 and I had my car fixed by 5:00 p.m. The same day. Thank you for taking your time and fixing it and making sure that I had heat.

    Bought car March, 2025 Car went to shop and had Transmission replaced May/June 2025 Vehicle then had to go back July 2025 due to a misfire, which was then informed was spark plugs Now November 2025, back to route one, where vehicle is once again having the same issue had back when the transmission had to be replaced. At the point where about to see if it can be sent to my uncles transmission shop to have evaluated and fixed the proper way (everyone who has read the codes says it needs a new TCM not a new Transmission) and have the bill sent to JDB as I’m sick of the same issue over and over.

    Remind you, they didn’t disclose when I bought the car that there were three other prior service contract claims done by JDB in Euclid on June 11, 2021, Feb 21, 2022 or November 29, 2022 or I would have demanded to know what they were for at the time of purchase. All they mentioned was a car fax for minor cosmetic repair, which this shows more than a minor cosmetic repair. Let’s not even get started that if you miss your payment. They call and threaten to repo the car. They have no heart. Even if you have a death in the family and are grieving. They still expect the payment and threat you. You’ll pay more for the car than if you bought one at a dealership. They charge more for a used car than it costs for a brand new one.

    Do not buy from this company. Very rude workers and they only get the cars to be fixed enough to be sold and off the property and after that they do not take responsibility for anything ever. I regret buying from these company

    I was going by, not shopping or even looking. I made contact and within 2 hours I was driving home in a well kept reliable Chrysler product. Maintenance issues were quickly resolved at a reasonable cost. No regrets.

    My wife hit a deer and totaled our car, we had to do something very fast and get a new car. I reached Brent and he made the whole process work in less than 2 hours. We only had to put a reasonable down payment down, bring a couple letters of verification in and we were out the door driving away. I would recommend Brent at JD Byrider to anyone with less than perfect credit. Brent also got us very reasonable payments. Thanks a lot, Brent.

    I gave 1 star cause I had to. Byrider SD me a car that had a safety recall hold on my vehicle. And when I told them they came after me and repossessed my vehicle. Then they want to call and say they want to make a payment arrangement on my car. No thank you. I'm not paying for a piece of shit that was never suppose to be sold in the first place.

    I purchased a vehicle from J.D. Byrider. Very easy to get approved. Put a thousand down on the vehicle they choose for me because of my credit. Not what I wanted and yet I’m thankful. But unfortunately my experience has been bad. June 18 I drove home. July blend doors in the heating and cooling went out and brakes had problems which is not covered in my warranty to my surprise. So I had to get fixed myself. So that’s money I lost and started a new job so with repairs I was struggling. Needed to change my payments to new payday because now I’m going from check to check and they don’t care to try and keep me in the vehicle after all I’ve invested in this used vehicle I’ve just purchased. At least when I’m paid I can pay note. But by God’s grace I’ve been making it. Get vehicle checked if you purchase one because you’re on your own if there are issues. God bless.

    I can say the sale people was nice and kind during my short time with them but I can say this their A1 inspection is a joke so you're okay buying a car from them but I highly recommend that you see a different mechanic because these mechanics they have are a big joke. But love the sales people

    I am semi-new to the Byrider car dealership, but I'm here to stay. I not only had a good experience, I would surely recommend them to family and friends. Tonya, who is the regional manager made my life easier. I needed a solution to be able to get my vehicle serviced. Tonya did just that. She allowed me to have the service fees added to the car payments. She called the service department for me (making sure that they expedited the process). Big thanks to goes to her! I am grateful for my experience with the company.

    This establishment is extremely unprofessional. Not only did they lease me a car with countless issues, they harass my phone every hour every day until they receive payment. Even the day it's due they harass and call from multiple different phone numbers. Very quick to threaten if they do not get their way.

    This is the worse dealership in the State of Wisconsin. The customer service reps including financing is very rude. They rarely answer the phone and when they do all you get is attitude. They don’t care about customers or car issues just payments. Don’t be late they’ll call you multiple times throughout the day every day but slow to call you about service issues that’s SUPPOSED to be covered. Claim to fix issues on your vehicle and don’t but takes your money and lie about repairs being done. Will tell you to pay past due amount (1 payment by 1 week late) to get the starter interrupt activated back on your vehicle but tells you to have it towed in at your expense. Even though it states they can activate it REMOTELY just as they deactivated it REMOTELY. Don’t believe them they’ll take your payment and still take your car. Don’t get TRAPPED in their lies, you’ll definitely PAY for it.

    I hate writing this review because I have worked with Raleigh Byrider for years. They had a great service department with Thor and Lucky and a great service assistant. They have all been promoted or moved on. I tried to buy an suv on Saturday, made an appointment- the salesman had the day off? Who does that? So I had to explain things over and over to the point I didn’t think I made sense. I called this morning just to get feedback and got a hostile finance manager, like if you don’t like working with people or you are allowed to speak to people in that tone, I know that's not the place for me. So I called the sales side and got a little more information.

    It's sad whoever manages this place has turned it into such a horrible place! Using remote underwriters that do not understand NC laws. Somebody telling me something that is not true and me trying to correct the information. You can not argue with ignorance! You have lost a good customer and you don’t even care!!! I guess you are swimming in business with all the great customer service going on in the finance office. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with that woman!

    Absolutely horrible: Their app doesn't work, (Almost 5 years and the app still doesn't work!) they don't respond to emails, their website almost never works and shows that I have paid more than SIX MILLION DOLLARS in payments. (Which I clearly haven't.) My account is set up as auto-pay, they wouldn't take the money out of my account. I'd email, get no response, and 2 weeks later get an email saying my car was up for repossession due to my lack of payment. IT'S AUTO-PAY! How do you screw that up? Then they'd blame Huntington Bank and say my bank wouldn't let them have the money. The entire experience was a nightmare.

    I asked for my account balance, because I wanted to be done with them and received no response. I finally just over paid what I knew I owed just to be rid of them. (I expect I will receive NO refund for the extra money I sent.) Nothing about them or their finance company CNAC works. You know you're trash when someone sends you more than they owe just to never deal with you again. STEER CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE.

    J.D. Byrider of Charlotte is the worst. Nobody acted like they didn't want to help us and the one that did help help us and told us to come in he was more concerned about eating his chicken than helping us and he never said bring all these stuff in. I told him I love a long ways but I just went in and said I needed all this proof but never saying that in text b for hand it was only when I was walking out the door to leave he sent all the info and appt. time to cover his self and was told we couldn't drive Jeep until we got approved for it and went just to hear it run and won't start because of dead battery and he would not even offer to help.

    They just all on their phones playing each that wanting to help never said it 2500 down and told him before hand all I had is 500 but had me come all the way in there. This place is terrible and unprofessional and have no customers training and just could care less about customers. But hope his food was good rather than sell is a jeep...but on the reviews I see the same guy's name mentioned as sales rep who I won't mention. Was a ** young man.

    The employees working for Byrider in Joplin are really nice. They Have to do their jobs to keep their bills paid. No blame to the employees! The company rules, small print and extra expenses You Need To Have A Lawyer Read before buying an overpriced car. Read what happens IF You have a Wreck! You need a lawyer to read before purchasing! A car that was bought with out researching costs was 2,800 at a used car lot. Byrider charged over $18,000 for the car and the pay off never went down with High Interest and a few late payments with the economy. RESEARCH your cars and don't rush in! Read the fine print! The folks that had the wreck are without a car now and will be paying a lifetime! Research and make sure you can afford the car in the long run! Dave Ramsay explains this better!

    Only had the car a month and the engine needs to be replaced. Took car to service 4 time out of that month giving me the run around about when my car will be finished thinking about getting a lawyer and suing them under the lemon law.

    This place is a rip off. I had someone total my car after 2 months and now I’m upside down 9000$ because they are overpriced. They do not offer or even mention gap insurance. They were great getting me in vehicle fast but didn’t care about screwing me over in the process. I suggest seeing Joe ** at Toyota of Warren. They actually care about you and the vehicle the put you in. Stay away from J.D. Byrider. Go see Joe at potato. You won’t be sorry.

    I got a vehicle off of them couple years and then I had an accident and found out that they had changed my contract for the rollover. No understand I was just an accident I have to figure out what I can afford and try to get another vehicle because now they broke my contract with a rollover. I wouldn't had a problem and have gotten another vehicle if they had just kept the contract. Then I was pressured into making payments under a payment arrangement that I could not afford. I explained that to the manager. It was only a few more payments and I can only afford $50 a month, not $270 so it's funny how the company really couldn't work my arrangements out even though they broke my contract. It wouldn't have been a problem if it all had been rolled over and I got another vehicle my payment history was great.

    I'll never get my vehicle fixed there either because apparently I'll be till one thing and then another thing is also wrong with it when I just had it looked at 2 days ago. The company has no compassion for the customer whatsoever. The way they treat you at the store in the marvel area and how they broke my contract and then want to sit here and threaten payments.
