After having my car towed to Firestone in Middletown N.J. I waited all day to be told my car was fine after having it on the diagnostic machine. It was just a dirty sensor. That was a Tuesday, today I went out to go to the store. It's Friday and the same error code came up. No engine power. Now I'm back to square one. Just called the place and no one can tell me if I have to pay again to be diagnosed. I'll update soon.

I went to Firestone on 8/25/24, for a power steering issue and fuel gauge that kept moving up/down and the engine light was on. I spoke with Steve and advised per their inspection, he informed me that I needed a fuel pump system, power steering work, tire repair and recharge my AC which totaled $4300. I called the next day on the 26 August, to see if the car was ready and they advised that they have to finish up the fuel pump work, so me, being generous gave them another 24 hours, thinking everything should be completed. Steve calls me on August 27 and advises me that everything is done. I go and pick my vehicle up and I noticed the engine light is still ON, and the gas gauge is still fluctuating up/down.
I go back into the shop, and this time a young lady told tell me to come back in the morning, well I couldn't because I needed to work. So today August 30, I take my vehicle back to Firestone so they can figure out why my engine light is not off and why the service I paid for did not fix the fuel gauge problem. Keep in mind I paid them $4300 of my money to FIX my issues. Just picked up my vehicle, and the excuse I got was that it is a BCM or basic computer module or gauge cluster but was initially told by Steve that if I do the pump system, that should fix all of that. So what the hell did I pay for. What was the inspection for? Is firestone telling me that they will keep $4300 of my money, and I need to ride around with the same problem I paid them to fix.
In addition, I work from home, so I keep gas in my vehicle and had to put at least $80, before I went to them, how in the world was I empty on gas, when I work from home and hardly drive my vehicle. This is stealing and it's ridiculous. Because I have new parts in my vehicle from them, I'll keep that, but give me my money for the labor that you guys did NOT fix my issues, and let me go to somewhere else that will FIX MY PROBLEMS and not ROB ME!!

It took four times for Firestone to find out why I had an Oil Leak. It was In the Oil Pan. It was not leaking before I took my Hyundia Santa Fe in on 08/14/2024, for an oil change. I went out of town the next day for 11 days. It was leaking then. So I took it back to Firestone in Winter Haven Fl on 06/12/2024. They checked the oil cap and replaced the Oil Cap. It continued to leak on my garage floor. I took another trip to Dickson TN.
On 08/01/2024 I took my Santa Fe to Firestone in Dickson Tn, They found a CRACK in the Oil Pan. (Store 799852, Michael was the service advisor & Ryan was the Tech, Retail Invoice # **) I was charged $10.96 to find this crack. Now for what I upset about. I took my Hyundai Santa Fe to Firestone in Winter Haven Fl. Again. (08/21/2024) (Retail Invoice #**) (Store #004164) For the 3rd time. They finally find the CRACK in Oil Pan. They replaced the Oil Pan and Charged me $192.06. They wanted to charge me $450.00, then they went down to $382.00. The manager (Jack) said we'd go down the middle for $192.06. I feel this is something that Firestone did and I sound not have to Pay anything. We have always taken our vehicles to Firestone and I would like to continue to go there. Only I feel that I was treated and Charged unfairly. I hope to hear back from Firestone soon.

Customer service is a dead end. They have no information to put you in contact with anyone who can resolve an issue. They’ll escalate it, nobody will respond. Call back 10 times and it’s a big circle. There is nobody to stand by their warranties. It’s a big roadblock. Their service techs Are not trained to service your vehicle. If they damage it there is nobody to stand by the warranty. They have on their website and they’ll make sure you can’t get in contact with anybody with any resolutions. Your calls end with a customer service representative sitting at their house working from home and that’s it.

I went to have them fix a tire (screw in it) I asked them to change oil & rotate tires too. They told me my tires need replacing. (I bought the tires 18 mos ago from Firestone and they have 15k miles on them, rated at 65k). They also said I needed significant steering and suspension work totaling in excess of $4000. I was skeptical. I took the car to 2 other national service centers and 1 local very reputable shop. All disagreed to the extent Firestone suggested, none of them thought any of the work was immediately necessary. Firestone's estimates were between 35% and 75% higher than any of the others. I keep the tires rotated and alignment up to date. The car drives well and there are no noises that would indicate imminent failures. They did fix the tire, I think they changed the oil although they failed to update the sticker and they DID NOT rotate the tires. Friendly people, but the quality across the board is lacking!

On July 27, I made the unfortunate decision to visit Firestone on 1st Street in Humble. I arrived around 1:20 PM for a simple oil change and brake check, and was told it would take two hours. I left my car, expecting the job to be done promptly. How wrong I was. By 4:20 PM, I hadn't heard anything, so I called to check on my car. After being left on hold for a staggering 25 minutes, I was finally told that nothing had been done. The oil change and brake check hadn't even started! They claimed they'd get someone on it immediately—a "guy standing around" was apparently their best option.
At 5:46 PM, I received a call saying I did need brake service, but assured me they could finish before their 7:00 PM closing time. I arrived a little before 7:00, prepared to pay, only to find my brakes still incomplete. I watched as various employees aimlessly wandered around, occasionally helping the lone mechanic on my car. This guy clearly had no idea what he was doing; he even hand-tightened one lug nut before using an impact wrench, a basic mistake that could've caused serious damage. Then, they lost a lug nut. When I confronted the assistant manager about the 2.5-hour delay and the missing part, he offered no apology—just excuses. They were short-handed, had long work weeks, and blamed "anyone" who might have misplaced the nut. Not a single "I'm sorry" was heard. He tried to reassure me by saying the mechanic was new but "very methodical." Methodical at being incompetent, perhaps.
As if that wasn't enough, when I finally got my car back at 8:20, it was filthy—grease prints all over the steering wheel cover. The real kicker? The brakes were barely functioning. The pedal sank to the floor, barely stopping the car. When I brought it back, the mechanic casually suggested I "pump the brakes a couple of times." The assistant manager had to pump them himself to get any response. And still, the brakes failed. Bleeding the breaks is a basic step in servicing brakes and my mechanic apparently had no clue.
The worst part? When I, the car's owner and the person paying for this mess, asked questions, the assistant manager had the gall to ignore me and address my friend that had provided me the ride and was waiting around to see if my care was going to be capable of making it home - just because he's assumed he was my husband and that he should talk to the man. When I told him to stop and talk to me, I had asked the question, it was my car and that I was paying for the repairs, the assistant manager actually said “He is the husband that is why I am explaining it to him”. It didn't matter that I have a background in mechanics and have managed a parts house; he just assumed the man should be spoken to, completely disregarding me the actual customer paying for this ordeal.
To recap: the service was abysmally slow, the customer service atrocious, and the mechanic dangerously incompetent. They were more concerned with closing up and going home than my safety and doing the job right. The assistant manager was not only disrespectful but blatantly sexist. If I hadn't insisted on a test drive, their negligence could've caused a serious accident. Firestone on 1st Street is a disgrace, and I will never set foot there again.

Message to the area manager – she hung up on me - Annie ** made excuses for the following. The most recent issue we had was with our Chevy Tahoe. We bought new tires and had them aligned on 07/23/2024 at the FW store purchasing a lifetime alignment. My wife waited for the alignment to be completed. Upon returning home I asked for the alignment report produced by the alignment machine for my records so I can see potential future issues. I keep the most recent report in the glove box.
My wife said they did not give her a hard copy, but indicated they would email her one. After not receiving the first email she returned to your store to give them my email address and asked Jorge to resend the attachments. The second email only had the invoice/receipt and recommended services so I called the store and talked to the manager, Jorge. I asked him to send the alignment report again and he agreed. Still no email with the report. It was close to closing time so we went to the store to pick up the printout. When we got to the store he admitted he had no mechanism to print the report physically or to PDF as he had done with the invoice and recommended services. His reasoning this time was that Firestone changed the alignment process where they don’t produce reports anymore.
I told him that policy is completely counter to the alignment industry. Every alignment machine that I have ever seen or used is equipped with the software and hardware to print reports. Without an alignment report customers cannot trust that the work has been done. Most people can’t validate that an alignment was done aside from steering corrections. In our case the alignment was only done because of new tires. In addition, being suspicious of no report prompted me to check my car for signs of a performed alignment. I did not see any evidence of an alignment, no tool marks at all. Dirt covered the entire area of where it could have been adjusted (tie rods were caked with dirt).

If I could give negative stars I would. I had an unexpected issue with my truck and was able to limp it to FireStone in Lakewood, CO. Not my first choice but where I could get it. I had them fix the issue, a brake line replacement. About a week later the truck started making a noise less than 500 miles. One of the tires they took off is now missing three lugs and two studs. Plain and simple they did not torque down the lug nuts. Terrible.

I am writing this review because I am very displeased with the service that I have received from them.. I had got a oil change and 2 weeks later, the all pressure light came on and then it just locked the whole engine up. I took it back up to Firestone, (Which costs me a hundred and twenty dollars) so they can look at it and they're telling me it's not their fault, but they were the only ones working on my Vehicle for the last year, so I'm going to say it's Firestone fault and they refuse to Fix the problem. The only light that came on before my truck died was the all pressure light. So now I take my truck to Ford, so they can look at it. Cost me $220 just for them to tell me my engine is locked up. Now I have put out over 360.00 for a nonworking Vehicle that I have to get Towed away from Ford before they charge me because Firestone messed up my vehicle and won't own up to it.

I paid it and they said the issue was LEFT FRONT WINDOW SWITCH HAS FAILED, RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT. I had the work done among other things because I trusted the team.
Fast forward a little over a year later my window on the same side fell down so I brought it back to store #594113. Again, they charged me over $110 dollars to diagnose the issue again, this time on the same door it was discovered *** LF WINDOW REGULATOR INOPERATIVE ***. REMOVE & REPLACE WINDOW REGULATOR. If the door was properly diagnosed in 2023 they would have noticed the regulator was going to fail on that same day and I would have had the team replace both items at once. Diagnosis shoddy. Stolen money for same work a year later. Total in just 2 years for the same door and the same or similar issue and Diagnosis, $800. I am sure next year if it fails again they are going to say it is not problem but same window. I feel bamboozled. Go anywhere else. Do not use this company.

Visited Highland Park St Paul Firestone for regular oil change. Was advised to replace stabilizer link pins. One was completely gone. Was shown the needed repair. Was given verbal estimate. Against my better judgement I had them do the repair. Car already in the air. Was in store 90 minutes. Signed the charge machine then received electronic invoice. Something seemed off. Looked up part number and discovered not only was I charged for two link pin kits (only one was needed), was charged $62 and change for $20.99 part! Firestone probably got a discount. In addition, was assessed $12 “shop supplies” fee! I questioned the 300% markup (I did the math) and $12 shop supplies. Was told corporate decides prices and fees. Stated doesn’t matter who makes the decisions, gouging is gouging and want the excessive charges refunded. Was told to contact corporate as store has no control over these items.
Long story short, I wrote to corporate. Store manager contacted me and agreed to refund excess charges. For the record, store employees are decent. Manager easy to deal with. They do good work. Corporate is the big problem. All they care about are profits. Customers are merely $ signs. My advice is buy tires and oil changes ONLY. Find a reputable neighborhood garage to service your vehicle.

I filled in the long form that included all kinds of personal details - but hey, they were nice people. I waited for the promised card to arrive. Instead, I received a boilerplate letter saying that my "application" had been rejected. I didn't know I'd been "applying." I was affronted and insulted - my time and trust had been squandered. I decided then and there to make sure no friend or acquaintance ever used Firestone Auto Care. This has been a 20 year journey of doing my best to eff them up. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a tire or mechanic shop, and maybe any business ever! Do not go here! The “manager“ Jason was one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with in a professional business. There was no accountability or responsibility. There was no way to rectify the situation and he literally denied doing anything wrong to the point of he just does not care what happens to your vehicle! I brought my wife’s Mercedes in to have four tires put on and left with the entire air suspension system, broken on my car and the car undrivable, grease all over the dashboard the wheels all put back on the wrong wheel and a broken car with all of the dials and dash system changed. It cost me $1100 for four tires and they broke the car to where it couldn’t even be driven, and then said they didn’t.
What kind of tire changing business even know how to lift a car properly that has air suspension and whether to turn it on or off? Now I am left with a car that cannot be driven and I have to take it to another mechanic to have it fixed for thousands of dollars of damage caused by Firestone, and they literally do not care. When I took it to the mechanic down the street from them to have it fixed, he said that that was usual and they fixed firestone's mistakes all the time and literally have had to replace entire motors and wheels and tires from the shoddy work. The people that worked on my wife’s car acted as though they had never changed the tire before and looked like they had not been to sleep in days. I will do everything I can to make sure the management and the employee of this establishment Do not do this to anyone else’s vehicle in the future.
I had no idea this is how they treated women that come in to get tires put on their car after they break their car. They just bully them into saying they didn’t do anything wrong and then you’re stuck with a broken car. My wife made the appointment and showed up on time early in the morning like they said with $1100 for four tires. They took an entire day to change four tires with no other customers, there left grease everywhere, ruined the car, broke the air suspension and didn’t even do the alignment. And then want us to come pick up the car and have it repaired somewhere else at our expense. This is the worst business ever. Firestone is literally living off of their name that they built from the boomer generation. But what firestone stand for now is a complete rip off and bad work. Take your tires and your car anywhere else in this town other than firestone.

(1) Tires are on the "pro-rated" period of the warranty; they will pay only 1/3 of tire price.
(2) I must call the warranty people (answer the phone as "Firestone and Bridgestone Warranty Center; Firestone Tire Store will not deal with it.
(3) Firestone Tire Store says that warranty was sold by an "affiliate" - as if the store where I bought the tires did not say Firestone on the marquee, but was some weird knock-off. Who ever heard of a store labeled as "affiliate".
(4) Warranty number has not yet approved to pay anything (3 days), because I dont have a picture of the DOT number on the exploded tire - there was absolutely no side wall left of the blown out tire - it was completely exploded/obliterated - only a ring of the tread remains.
(5) Local firestone store doesn't know how the warranty people are suppose to handle the bill/$$; they want to know from me how this gets paid.

After the 2 hour mark! spoke with them and was told "Oh yeah we finished the service but we didn't think to look at what parts your vehicle would need before confirming your appointment! We actually don't have a filter so we're frantically calling around to find one!" - Firestone employee. Would not recommend coming to this location as it is unreliable

Ordered New Tires with an installation package to be completed by Firestone. The same day my tires arrived [05/04/2024] I brought my Truck for service. Firestone claimed they couldn't install my tires and loaded them on my truck and informed me to try their other location 28 miles away. Firestone service providers did not reach out to the location [Store #029165] on my behalf nor did they try to remedy this major inconvenience in any way.
After arriving at Store #029165, A service order was made and I was informed that the installation would be ready in the afternoon May 5th. I called to inquire about the progress of my installation due to the fact that rain was expected and my tires were on the back of the truck. I expressed my concerns about my tires being left out in the rain to the Acting Manager. I was told that my truck was in the bay being worked on. Around 6pm, May 5th, I received a call from the Acting Manager at Store #029165 exclaiming he mistook my truck for another and that my truck would be next in line to be serviced. MY TIRES WERE LEFT IN THE RAIN!
May 7th, I received a call about my truck being ready May 6th. Firestone informed me that they could not balance my tires nor do the alignment. Knowing that I had purchased the installation package I informed them that balancing was included even if the alignment could not be. Firestone service providers at Store #029165 stated that the machine could not balance tires that big. I have factory Ford 17inch rims [245/75/17]. I ended up having to drive away without getting them balanced or alignment because of this unreliable service. Big 10 performed both the blanace and alignment same day May 6th. It took 4 hours to complete! Big 10 had complications balancing my tires as well due to the fact that their was WATER in all of them!!!!
Big 10 had to dismount, clean, remount, and balance all my tires. I incurred an additional charge because of Firestone service providers incompetence. I called Firestone [Store #029165] about this issue. The Acting Manager said I don't see where a little water would effect the balance. Firestone mounted my tires knowing water was in them! That is what made balancing them impossible!! The Acting Store Manager said the Store Manager was on vacation and would not be back in store until May 13th. I filed a complaint same day May 6th with corporate! Regional Manager Kevin ** nor The Manager at Store #029165 have reached out to resolve thus issue. It's May 22nd, over two weeks without any correspondence behind my complaint!
I would not recommend using Firestone as an installer nor would I recommend them for alignment services! Firestone has no urgency behind addressing customers' concerns or issues in a timely matter. As stated it's been 16 days so far without a single correspondence from The local store Manager or Kevin ** the Regional Manager. Customers would fare better picking a service provider that's more knowledgeable and experienced at doing this type of business as well as picking a service provider that have better customers!!

DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE. Here is my most recent experience. I took my car to Firestone for brake work. I was charged $1008. I was told my brake pads, rotors and calipers needed replaced. Two days later my brake light came on. I was going back the following weekend for an oil change so I asked them why the brake lights were on. They said it was a fluke and they turned the light off. They said the brakes were fine. Within two days the brake light was back on. Two days later I was on the freeway driving 70 mph and guess who had no brakes. They let me leave their location knowing that I could kill myself and others.
Now I’m sure you’re thinking maybe they didn’t know or couldn’t tell. Let me explain why I know for a fact that they knew. I took the car to another location (the closest location I could get the car to with no brakes) just to find out that my brake pads and calipers had not been replaced at all and I had no brakes because no brake work had been done in my car. I paid $1008 for a lie and a life endangering experience. I’m not sure if the liars and cheaters are only at that location or if this is standard operating procedure at Firestone. But be warned taking your car to Firestone could cost you your life.

Firestone on Albertsons parkway, Broussard, LA has GOT to be the worst mechanic shop I have ever dealt with in my life! I have dealt with them a few times over a period of years with a couple of vehicles. Not ONCE has it been a good experience. I brought my truck in a while back with issues? They misdiagnosed saying I needed a new fuel pump. Repaired that. Only for me to turn around to bring it right back as the check light came on again leaving the shop with it doing the same thing as it was doing before I brought it in there. Coming to find out I needed a new brake boot, not a fuel pump. 3 days later I get the truck BACK. They're saying it's FIXED! I pick it up to find that the brake pedal was unusually high. Instead of pivoting my foot from the gas to the brake, I'm finding I'm having to literally lift my whole leg to brake the truck! And I'm short. If my knee was hitting the steering wheel trying to slow the truck down, I could only imagine what the mechanic looked like pulling it out of the shop

I normally use FIRESTONE for tires and brakes. The service isn’t terrible, but it is never been perfect. Nothing is… I am pretty open-minded today and flexible. After my last visit I will NEVER go back again. They left this tool in the front of my hood. This is his Honda pilot 2016 that I was in getting brakes and tires for as he is a fairly new driver. I wanted to make sure he was safe. Do you see the tool that was left in the front hood? I have attached three pictures.
He actually saw it when he started the car. Good thing there wasn’t a fire or I would be owning the shop today, what gives, such neglect!! How do you leave a tool that size in and just hanging from the hood of our Honda pilot 2016? And yes, I drove with it all the way home and my son noticed it when he was walking to the car and packing his baseball equipment. Then I returned the tool after I got it out myself and the technician actually had the nerve to ask me if I had seen anything else I replied, with what are you talking about? He said I may have left a yellow screwdriver in also. TERRIBLE NEGLIGENCE.

I started out when I made my appointment for 7 AM on Friday morning. I received a call Thursday evening that the appointment I made two days ago wasn’t available because although the store opens at seven, they don’t start working till eight. Confused on what it is I agreed. When I got to the Firestone in Saint Ann Missouri. Approximately 15 minutes before my appointment, I wasn’t taking care of all the standing line until 10 minutes after my appointment my vehicle finally pulled in for an alignment, it took a whole five minutes complete. Confused because of knowing I just received an entire new front suspension.
I went out reluctantly to my vehicle, tried to drive away and couldn’t. The wheel were not straight enough for me to control as I slid one tire in and the other one and told GUY that it was unacceptable he had to redo it. He then told me something else was the issue, not the alignment. So I pulled next door, fixed (to his satisfaction) what he said was the issue in the parking lot next door, Returned and ask if he could fix the alignment. He then pulled it back in for a matter of about five minutes. "It was good," he said. "However, it was worse than before." I stopped about a block away on YouTube and did a alignment myself which was able to get me home then they called me that night and told me they wanted to tow my car in and take a look at it! I was confused because it was safe enough for me to drive away but not to drive back???
I want did I have to miss work on Friday but then they wanted me to miss more work so they can tow my vehicle without telling me when it would be done and he said he would look at it when he had a chance. So now my tires are ruined, it’s caused other damage to my vehicle and has cost me upwards of 750 dollars for the 120 dollar alignment I originally wanted. I will never go to that place again, they stole my money, gave me a crappy service and then tried to give me more crappy service and make me miss work to fix their mistakes.

I went to Firestone in Durham, NC on Duke St to get new brakes that were recommended by a Firestone in SC from whom I'd always received very good service. I was told my appointment would take an hour and a half. About that time later, they came out to tell me my car needed $4500 of repairs and the brakes hadn't even been started!!! I then had to have a tele-health appointment in the parking lot because the wheels were off, and I couldn't drive it home. Since it is an older car - 2002 Honda - and I have a hard time getting my car in for repairs due to disabilities I have and having to find rides back and forth if I leave my car somewhere, I acquiesced. My nurse that I had an appointment with later that day had to pick me up and drive me home. My car remained at the service center for 3 days. I finally got a ride to pick up my car and drove away thinking I should be in pretty good shape for a while.
The next day when I went grocery shopping and I was approaching my car from the passenger side, I noticed that the hood looked like it wasn't fully closed because the hood was higher than the side panel. I opened the hood and gave it a moderately hard drop to make sure it fully engaged - AND that's when I noticed a small dent in the side panel!!! Being that the dent went fully up to the edge of the hood, the hood must have been open when the dent was made. I immediately went to the service center and they tried to tell me they hadn't damaged my car and that it must've already been that way. I explained to them that I never service my own car and there'd be no reason I'd raise the hood and then drop something on the right side panel top edge where it meets the hood. I'm very dismayed that I had to discover this damage on my own and they didn't tell me they'd damaged my car when I picked it up.
Please note, there were/are NO OTHER dents on my car and I only have 2 very small rust spots on my car because I take VERY good care with it. I had just done a once over of the car to submit a condition report to Maaco because I was thinking of having it repainted and wanted an estimate - which came in at around $2500. They refused to give me their insurance information saying they didn't have access to it - and gave me no one to contact to get the situation resolved. The next day, I submitted a report to Firestone directly and was sent a response from claims resolution. I responded to that with all the information I had and pictures of the damage and was told I'd hear back in 3-5 business days. Two weeks have gone by and I've heard nothing!!! I'd give this center a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could, I will NEVER go back there - and all this when I had over $4000 of work on my vehicle.

***Tulsa Police Had To Be Called Today*** I had the worst experience of my life with a business today at Firestone in Tulsa the 4105 S Yale Ave location. I've been a regular customer with Firestone for over a decade, but that all ends today. I have referred many people to this exact location, but now I will warn them of the dangers in doing business with this company.
Over the past year or two the customer service has steadily and rapidly declined. Yesterday I scheduled an appointment for today at 12:00 noon to have them check my air conditioner, which was only blowing outside air temperature, instead of cool air. When I took the vehicle in today the employee working the front counter (employee 1) ask if the employee (employee 2) that had scheduled my appointment had explained the process of checking my air conditioner for leaks, which he had not. So, the employee (employee 2) working the front desk explained the process as follows, "We will put dye in the air conditioner and then fill the air conditioner with freon, you will then take your vehicle for a couple of weeks then come back so we can detect if and where the leak is."
He told me they would completely fill the air conditioner with freon, add the dye and my cost for the total service would be $115.00 or less, it would be less if my air conditioner required less than 48 oz of freon, and be charged by the ounce. If it required more than 48 oz of freon then they only charge for a maximum of 48 oz, but would still completely fill the air conditioner with freon, so the max cost for me today would be $115.00.
A little over two hours later employee number 2 called me and said that they have finished and that they had only put 24 oz of freon in my air conditional and there was no leak detected so it may be a problem with my coils, but that if I want I can just take it and see if the problem still exist. He then told me that they are charging me $115.00, but if I wanted them to fill my air conditioner with freon that would cost me over $200.00. I then explained what employee 2 had quoted me about my cost would be a maximum of $115.00 with a full air conditioner if my it required 48 oz or more of freon to fill, and it would be less if it required less than 48 oz (charged by the ounce).
I told employee 2, that I would only pay the price that I was told would be the maximum amount that I would be charged with my compressor full. He then began to argue and told me that he would not fill it unless I paid the larger amount, over $200.00 and that he was going to charge me $115.00. I said I will only pay the $115.00 if they completely fill my air conditioner as was agreed upon. I returned to the store and I told employee 1, still working the front counter, that I was not going to pay $115.00 for less freon than what I was quoted. Employee one then told me that if I leave without paying the $115.00 dollars for the lesser amount of freon then he would call the police on me for not paying. So, I had to call the police myself to prevent from being arrested.
The Tulsa Police arrived at the Firestone Store and threatened to arrest me if I did not pay. I explained the situation and it finally was resolved that Firestone would completely fill my air conditioner with freon for the $115.00 as was originally quoted to me. Employee number 2 was very angry and sarcastic while the police were still there. After the police left and my air conditioner was finally filled with the freon "I Hope" and I went to pick up my vehicle employee number 2 just put my key on the counter and did not say thank you, explain what they had done, or offer me a receipt or anything, he literally did not say a word!
The most disgusting thing about this whole situation is that it happened in the presence of my 9 year old nonverbal special needs daughter. Maybe the Firestone employees that I dealt with today were not happy that I had brought my special needs daughter into their store. I would expect much better behavior from employee number 1, which is a 38 year old military veteran. And I would also expect much better behavior from employee number 2, which he said he was in his twenties, and he seemed to be acting like a manager. This was a very traumatic experience!!! I hope my review, if it is not edited or deleted by Firestone will help prevent other people from experiencing such trauma at the hands of Firestone employees and possibly going to jail. Good luck to all!

My experience with Firestone Complete Auto Care was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I had my Mercedes SLK 250 towed to their facility for repairs, and the service I received was subpar. Initially, there was a lack of communication regarding the cost of replacing my dead battery, which ended up costing $668. Subsequently, there were delays and uncommunicated costs related to reprogramming my key fob, further prolonging the repair process.
Throughout this process, I interacted with several employees, including Jerry, Dennis **, and Albert. Jerry, in particular, informed me of a hit-and-run accident involving my vehicle while in their care. Despite assurances from Jerry that he would wait for me to arrive and file a police report, he was nowhere to be found when I arrived with an officer. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable.
I also experienced threatening behavior from Jerry when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the handling of this situation. His unprofessional conduct, coupled with the overall lack of communication and accountability from Firestone Complete Auto Care, left me feeling unsafe and deeply disappointed. Furthermore, after filing a formal complaint with their consumer affairs department, they refused to finish the work on my car. This added to the already frustrating experience and demonstrates their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. I have filed a formal complaint with their consumer affairs department and the incident has been reported to the Orlando police. I strongly advise others not to deal with this establishment.

I arrived 1:50pm and asked how long it will take to have it completed and she stated to me that she wasn't sure but I was next. I sat down and another lady came in and gave her keys over. 10 min later I saw the tech get a set of keys and go outside but the vehicle he took was not mine. They brought my truck into the bay at 2:20. They did not take the first tire off until 3:10.
About 15min later the guy called me to the counter to tell me that he had some bad news that my rotors needed to be replaced because they digs into them. I was on the phone with my boy friend and he told me "NO" just brakes which I relayed to the gentleman just front pads. He tried to go over all these other recommendations and I said no thank you! I just had my oil changed a month ago and they changed the air filter so I can't imagine it needs to be replaced.
Long story short, my truck was finally done at 5pm. When I went to pay they did not explain to me what was done, or about the complete vehicle inspection findings. She told me the total of the bill and was was like that is for brake pads? She said that is for rotors and with fluid exchange. I told her that I did not want anything done other than the pads, that I explained that to the gentleman I just the pads. She then told me it must have been an misunderstanding.. When I asked to speak with him, he was already gone for the day. I am not sure how just pads turned into a whole front brake job.
Then when I went to get into my truck they parked it in a handicap spot on the side of the building. Then when I looked at the vehicle inspection sheet and they put I had a torn boot, and took to another place to have looked at they told me there was nothing wrong with the boot and was informed that Firestone was incorrect of their findings and must been trying to get even more money from me. Needless to say I will never be going back there or recommend to anyone for future services.

I've never serviced my vehicle at a Firestone until I started working at one. I was a Service Manager during my tenure. I never denied responsibility and maintained a commitment to our claim that we would "fix it right" if we did the work. Which makes this review even more disheartening and offensive, considering that I was once accountable for the customer experience at a Firestone location.
I would've never taken my car to a Firestone if it wasn't for my experience working there in a manger role. I would've never imagined that I would end up a rejected customer, who paid to have work done, who trusted the company, who returned with a service related problem within the warranty coverage period, who had a 20 yr ASE Certified Mechanic that works at Metro get under my car and thoroughly investigate the problem, report the problem and direct me back to where I got the work done initially! Only for Firestone to refuse to correct the problem. I spent over $700 that day! See the invoice!
I had to call my old District Manager, who directed me to the new District Manager who then sent me to the Corporate Claims Department! I had to reach out and follow up myself after my car had been sitting at the location for a week, only to be told they didn't properly submit my claim. Then once they properly submitted my claim, I had to also call the claims person and leave a message for them to contact me!
When I did speak with the claims representative, they questioned my former employment with the company as If I somehow got some underhanded work done while I was the Service Manager! I had resigned from Firestone months before this work was done so that relationship was irrelevant. Secondly, they questioned me about an accident that also happened before I came to get the work done the first time, as if the accident caused the problem. I felt insulted and my character questioned over a few hundred dollars worth of work that was supposed to be "under warranty"! They denied my claim and suggested the problem was unrelated! I'll never trust this company with my vehicle again! I won't even take my car back to get my alignment and I have a lifetime alignment service! Bad business ethics! Bad business!

The mechanics told me it was the timing belt cover that was leaking and I need to take it to a Subaru dealership. I took it to the Subaru dealership. I said mostly yes, one tire had been on the truck after I had a flat and had to drive for around one hundred miles on it before getting the other one fixed and that the other tire in the back had never been used. Took my truck to Firestone in Las Vegas on Maryland. Asked them to do a break inspection. They said it was OK but would need to have new pads sometime in the future though not urgent. Within two days I took it back for reinspection because the brakes were not working correctly. They said it was OK still. I checked the brake fluid myself and there was no brake fluid in it at all and there was obvious brake fluid leak on the inside of the right rear wheel from the brake cylinder. This could not have been inspected as they said, and they obviously did not check the fluid level or the caliper and cylinders. I took it somewhere else, and the whole right rear cylinder was blown. When I tried to go back to talk to them about it, they were not interested in even listening to me. They have poor technical service and poor customer service. Stay away from them.

He spent time with me giving me options and did not push anything on me. I came back to store and he greeted me again this time by name. He actually remembered my name! I did business with the store and Andrew was the technician and he was absolutely great, polite and everything else positive about everything. I did speak to some others at the store. All were so nice! I think Jae sets the tone for a great customer service experience! 10/10.

I had service done on 12/09/2023 to have removal of and replacement of brake shoes and rotors. I not only had to wait for another set of rotors but the ones they placed on my Cadillac were the same ones placed on there from the second purchase. They lied. I had to use both of my children's credit cards to pay for the $1105.18 parts labor shop supplies and tax.
After driving it away I had to bring my car back because it would shake as I would come to a stop. That is when the Service Advisor Nicholas stated that I need calibers placed on my car because it was sticking to my brakes which was another $700 which I did not have. I was separated from my husband and just relocated to Charlotte without spousal support. It is difficult to have emergency funds for car expenses. Not feeling sorry for myself but of course my husband said he couldn't help me because he just paid $1000 to repair the garage door at our home in Fayetteville, so much for that.
However, I know my car and Randy from the Cadillac Dealership never said anything about the need for calibers on my car just brakes and rotors turned. The reason I got rotors replaced was because this site did not have the machine to have rotors turned. Well needless to say after 2,000 miles I still had problems with shaking in stopping and coming off cruise control in which it never happened prior to this repair. So after my doctor's appointment I went to the Firestone on Albemarle which is the one I went to the first time I arrived in Charlotte. Gary and the gang found out I had warped rotors and the other shop never replaced the ones they were supposed to have done in the first place.
After the mechanic drove it, he came back and felt the same thing I felt and asked me did I see them change the rotors and I said no I took them at their word. I noticed the rust on my brakes and that made me concerned just after a few months. They placed cheap brakes and rotors on my Cadillac and I want my credit cards to be paid in full for this service I did not get from the Firestone on University Blvd. I have been a Firestone Customer for over 10 years in Fayetteville, NC and a Military Spouse to the one on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville. They know us by name and Jeff knows us personally especially our kids. I am furious that Nicholas would put such cheap parts on my Cadillac as a woman driving and stopping in Charlotte. Is it because I am ** or a woman or because I am a ** Woman? I want my children's Firestone Card paid in full.

On 4/14/22 I and my spouse visited the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Modesto, CA. around 12:11pm to 4:33pm by appointment, and our vehicle was done around 5pm that day. We had experienced this rattling sound in our vehicle in the front, Like a tire rod or such. So we brought it in. When we left we still heard the same rattling sound like our front end with our tires was still coming loose and felt weird. They said a bolt connected to our tires was loose and our steering rod. So they apparently fixed it? It was actually worse than when we first went in. So we made an appointment to go into another firestone, but it was a mom and pop sister shop, they didn't do anything and said our car and tires were fine. We left.
We then were redirected by Firestone their self, to go all the way to San Francisco CA to the firestone there, when getting there, they told us they didn't service vehicles like that. So we not only wasted gas and a trip but the customer service rep that sent us to that location was off. We then made an appointment on 4/30/22 at 9:09 am at the Fresno Ca location. We had them look at the vehicle and tires and such. At first really decent service, they said the Modesto Firestone location didn't even put our bolts back on our car to the tire rod and struts and he fixed it, and he replaced a tire because the other auto place didn't do a wheel alignment we had paid for and it was eating our tires.
When leaving this firestone location in Fresno CA at 5pm we were driving to grab a bite before leaving back to los banos CA which was a good distance like an hour away or more. Our 13 yr old daughter was with us, she kept hearing this sound outside her window, so after 15 mins of leaving the Firestone store in Fresno CA, we noticed that when they switched out our tire in the passenger back, they had gotten a huge bolt like nail that was huge stabbed up in the tire. So we went back and they literally had 5 mins left till closing, the guy refused to fix the tire we just bought from them. He told us they were closing in 5 mins and we should be good come back tomorrow, my husband explained we didn't live local. He told us we would be fine.
So upon leaving and hitting the freeway to go back to our home, the tire popped causing us to swerve out of traffic almost hitting other cars. We winded up hitting the side banks of dirt and rock and almost wrecked. We called them back only to hear a voicemail and began to reach out to corporate firestone who never answers. We finally got a hold of someone who called us back from the customer support line, and the lady said because it was a friday the manager wouldn't be available. She could only leave an email. We winded up having to pay out of our pockets for a hotel stay in fresno CA due to this life threatening inconvenience. And when the manager Rick responded back, trying to apologize for not getting back to us sooner, we told him we wanted our money back and a refund for the hotel.
Now this manager was not smart, he literally took 3 weeks to send a check with my husband's name spelled wrong, then he was like, "Ok, I can direct deposit or zelle you." It never happened. We waited over a month for another check and finally got our money back for the hotel stay. But we didn't get reimbursed for the issues that put our family at risk that day not to mention the other modesto CA location who forgot to put the bolts back on our car. We have emailed, complained and have 2 consumer affair complaints and numbers that apparently no one gives 2 cents about. We have repeatedly asked for our credit card with Firestone to be reimbursed because they never fixed the problem and if anything, made it worse and damaged our car. They also put our life and our child's life at risk.

Which was another 1500 to replace. We’d never had a leaking issue outside of the car at all. I file a claim and they say there’s nothing they can do. I wish they’d never touch the oil. The Honda service people told me that the old pads were still on the car, and it looked like the brake pads, rotors, and drums had not been touched. Firestone Complete Auto Care: I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received at Madison West Station from Feb 5 to Feb 8, 20024. Despite my expectations for professional and reliable service, because you are a complete Auto Care Facility, I am disappointed with the services I received. My car was towed in because of a problem with the ABS signal and low break fluid I believed this issue would be resolved efficiently and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the time I left the car in your shop was too long and the bill was high. The delay in servicing the car caused me inconvenience and resulted in additional costs, and loss of time. During this time, I called often to check on the progress of the repairs. I think they may have a staffing problem since I was kept on hold for long each time I called.
Moreover, the level of customer service was below what one would expect from a reputed service center. There was a lack of clear communication. The initial estimate was $1000, but I paid $1907. The bill was unclear, and I might not have received a bill if I had not asked for one after payment. The car was not ready, the day, I went to pick it up. The waiting area with coffee was not clean and the coffee machine did not work. My recent experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. I left detailed feedback about my experience, and someone was supposed to get back to me by email or phone call, but nobody did.

We purchased lifetime alignment for my Kia Soul. I got tired of paying over $700 for a set of tires at Firestone and when we started getting it aligned using tires I bought for $232 for a full set on Amazon they started telling me parts in my front end were bad and couldn’t align it correctly. I replaced the parts myself for $40, they were going to charge $312 to replace them and come to find out those parts weren’t even bad but I already bought them and just put them on. In the 6 months I got 6 alignments and the car drove worse and worse with each alignment until I couldn’t drive it in the rain because it was so squirly, my tires in that 6 months and 6 alignments are now bald and my rear tires are like new!
On my 6th alignment, they mentioned that it could be my rack and pinion going bad and it would be over $1500. I got a second opinion from Holinsworth and had them do a full inspection and determined the only thing wrong with my car is the alignment! $100 later and my Kia hasn’t driven this good since new! This ordeal cost me over $500 to recover from and endangered my life and prevented me from going to work when it rained.
When I confronted the salesman at the desk he said there were new workers there and need more training and the alignment racks were malfunctioning and he’d have the manager call me, he never did so I called the customer service and made a complaint and she said someone will call in a week so I called again and talked to someone and they said there is no record of my complaint and would call me back in a week and they never did. So I called one last time and got the same runaround, this corporate company doesn’t care about its customers or their safety and is a well-played scam. You will find integrity at your small mom-and-pop shops rather than this heartless soulless corporation. The Better Business Bureau is going to know about this.

Before payment was received, I was told nothing about the state of my car's alignment, nor their inability to adjust certain aspects of my alignment, nor the need to "have better tires BEFORE an accurate alignment could be done". After paying $130, I was given the sheet showing little had been done. After inquiring, I was told they couldn't adjust the areas that were in need (they didn't tell me before that the rest was almost perfect, as I would've declined the $130 service). When I asked if it is Firestone's policy to notify the customer of these things after the payment, they explained that it is and they take an appointment as a request to do work (needed or not) without notification or warning. They got my money but lost my business.

As a younger female, I always dread taking my car in anywhere because I am constantly taken advantage of. I was really hoping Firestone would be different, but if anything it has been the worst places I’ve been to. This establishment is so unprofessional to the point I don’t even know how they’re in business. The first time I brought my car in (less than a month ago) was to have a tire replaced.
When I came back to pick my car up, they had replaced the wrong tire. How does this even happen? I had clarified several times which tire needed to be fixed & have zero idea how they managed to screw that up. & of course, I didn’t notice until I got home so I had to drive all the way back, over 30 minutes. Not only did this waste my gas & time, but also my boyfriend's since he was the one helping me drop off & pick up, commuting me when I was without a vehicle. Then, I took my car in to get my AC fixed. I was told the entire system had to be replaced, costing nearly $2000.
To add, I am not only a college student, but I’m also working full-time with children. Money is already tight so for it to be wasted this way is absolutely unacceptable. But regardless, I told them to go ahead. They finally called me & said I could come pick up. So I go, pay, & take my car. At first, I was sure it was blowing cold air. But after about 10 minutes into my drive back, I realized it wasn’t. It wasn’t hot, but it was nowhere near cold. I eventually just rolled my window down to get cold air. So again, I had to drive back, wasting gas & time yet again. Absolutely ridiculous. I would never in a million years recommend this business. The worst part is not a single employee has even remotely tried to apologize for the countless inconveniences they’ve caused. I feel beyond frustrated & taken advantage of. $2000 for absolutely nothing. Takeaway advice: GO ELSEWHERE. Please, don’t waste your time & money.

Had to call several times to see what was the status. I eventually got a call that stated it was my top mount of my front struts and the cost to replace the struts which was under 1k. Went to pick up my car while they ordered parts and got a phone call when I was almost there stating it was also my rack and pinion. Now the price to fix would be about 3k. Picked up my car while they were ordering parts and noticed the information about my car on the receipt was not correct. The vin was wrong, the mileage was off by 20k, and the license plate said temp.
When I was at the store I asked the guy what would happen if I drove with these issues and he told me I would start leaking powering steering fluid and that's when I realized things were a bit off. The symptoms he told me about were not present for the diagnoses we received. Struts yes but not rack and pinion. Also I felt like I was putting my trust in someone who didn't know cars because my car doesn't take power steering fluid as it's electric steering. Needless to say, took my car to someone else without telling them the experience I had and what do you know struts need replaced and tie rod ends. NOT THE RACK AND PINION!!!! Don't go here. They will try to charge you for things that are not wrong. My estimate of 3k went down to 1100. That's a bog change. Listen to your car and do the research. Things didn't add up from the jump. I should've known better when it took 6 hours to do an oil change. Thank you Firestone for nothing. I will take my business elsewhere.

I requested two new tires be placed onto the front of my car. The two rear tires still had some good tread, and I was not ready to replace them. The Firestone crew in Lehigh Acres, Florida, on Homestead Avenue, sold me two tires. During the installation, they did a complete evaluation of my car to advise me of any additional work that was needed. They installed the two new tires, but did not place them on the front. Rather, they placed the new tires on the rear, and did not inform me of this fact. At no time did they offer me one of the old tires to retain as a spare tire. I currently have only a donut for a spare.
Two days later, I apparently drove into a manhole cover or something, but the front driver-side tire was torn and irreparably damaged. I returned the car to Firestone for a replacement, only to discover at that time, that Firestone had not done as I asked when it installed two new tires in the rear rather than the front. I was forced to buy a new tire.
Now I am driving around with three brand new tires, and one partially used tire. It is impossible to know, but had they installed the new tire on the front where I requested, the new tire may not have been torn by the manhole cover. Regardless, they did not have my authorization to install two new tires in the rear. I specifically requested two new tires in the front. Now they are hoping I will return and have additional work done, which their evaluation indicated. This will not happen. I feel defrauded and cheated by Firestone. They did not follow my specific instructions, and never informed me. I drove around for two days thinking I had two new tires in the front. A company that cannot follow customer instructions will never get my business again,

Took to another auto shop, they found a mangled, melted magnetic light that had lodged in gear box. On the bumpy roads to lake, it jossled this light that Firestone had left IN MY TRUCK by steering box, which was the cause of the accident. We have the melted light and it was identified as being so and so's light from that shop! But told there was nothing they would do. Since then, the residual effects have been steering column has to be replaced and the damage from the accident and how it affected gear box ruined transmission. So now I am $5300 in the hole.
Looking at so many complaints about Firestone, how are they allowed to not respond on BBB nor be held accountable for many customer losses reported? We reached out to Firestone/Bridgestone Corporate, no response. Local Firestone, no help. I guess if I would've died, my family could've sued, but because I'm a good driver, no death. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if it offered "none". I will never take any of my vehicles to Firestone again. Two months ago my car started acting a bit funny, then a warning showed up that said, "Stabilitrack Needs Attention". So, I brought it to my local Firestone (which I've been using for years now). With a whole new staff, I entrusted them again, foolishly. Dropped my vehicle off at 8:45am. Was told they'd run a diagnostic test and let me know what was going on. Heard nothing for 3 hours, so I called. "We're not sure yet" was their response. Around 2:30pm, I got a call. They informed me of "the problem".
I needed both of my solenoids replaced and would need another oil change, even though I got one about 2 months ago. They told me at that time that "everything will be in running order" after I get these things done. 4:30pm, got a call that my car was finished and ready for pickup. Got a ride there, went in and beside pushing me (for the 2nd time today) to open a credit care with them, they allowed me to pay without even a hint that they did NOT, in fact, fix what I brought the car in for to begin with. Sure did charge me $700 for something that had nothing to do with it!!
After paying, I got into my car, started her up and the warning was still there. Turned off the car, went back inside and was waiting to talk to the guy who I paid when another guy called me by name. When I told him that the warning light was still on, he literally told me that they don't do that. I need to go to a dealership for that problem. NOT ONCE WAS THAT BROUGHT UP ALL DAY TODAY!! Firestone has serviced my cars for years. I have recommended Firestone multiple times. I can no longer recommend them. I took my car in for routine service on 12/28. Firestone no longer provides a detailed paper report in the store. They email a partial report to you. When I left the store my tpms light came on. I turned it off and continued to drive. The warning light repeatedly came back on. I drove back to the store and was told that they deliberately overinflated the tires this time of year. Supposedly the tech drove my car and the light stayed off. Nope. I finally had to let some air out to get to the proper inflation.
When I got home I printed out the service report. I specifically asked to have the wiper blades replaced. The report showed two blades were replaced, but not the blade on the rear window. The report showed that the washer fluid was “checked and approved”. This does not mean it was filled. I checked and filled it myself. Several additional items were not brought to my attention. When the car was serviced in July 2023 there were 5 items marked on the written report for suggested maintenance—including the rear wiper blade, the air filter, and the cabin filter. None of these issues were addressed on 12/28.
When I went back to the store today I was told that I specifically needed to ask to have the rear wiper blade replaced. (Because usually people only want the front wipers replaced!) I asked why it was suggested in July that the air filter and cabin filter needed to be replaced but 6 mos later they were okay. I was given the answer that some techs are more aggressive in their comments! I asked whether the washer fluid was filled and was told “he was supposed to”! I knew that was a lie because I had to fill it myself. Do not use this Firestone location. I also requested a call back. Someone is supposed to call back within 2 business days. Consider this your WARNING!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE EVER!! I went in to get an oil change September 27, 2023, at Firestone on Stateline Rd. in Southaven, MS. First disappointment is they ripped me off charging me almost $80 for an oil change on a 2001 Camry. I waited until the end of the transaction to tell him I had a coupon only to be lied to and he told me he already added the coupon. I asked him, "How can you add a coupon before you even knew I had a coupon?" That really made me upset. I went ahead and paid. They are Scamming and RIPPING people off.
I only drove my car 3 times after the oil change. On October 4th, I came home in the car and left back out hours later to pick my son up only to notice a huge spot in my driveway. I dabbed it with a napkin to see if I could tell what it was. I automatically thought to check my oil. I checked my oil three times, and there was no oil on the dipstick at all when I pulled it back out. I immediately called corporate. They gave me the runaround for three months and would not repair my car.
On November 3, they sent an inspector out from Nationwide Insurance (supposedly) and he took pictures and told me that he sees these cases all the time. He stated Firestone had over-tightened the bolt on the oil pan and broke it and that caused all of the oil to run out of my car. He told me they should contact me in about 3 days. Well, I never heard from anyone.
Finally, December 31st I called corporate again to try to get this resolved because I did not want to try to go to court over this, I just wanted them to fix my vehicle. The young lady said they had closed my case. I told her no one ever contacted me, and I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was so nice, respectful, and helpful. I got a call from the Firestone on Union on January 2nd that they would be sending a tow truck for my vehicle. (Review for Firestone on Union coming shortly). Needless to say, Finally, on January 4th I picked my vehicle up and NOW I have a whole other problem with my car. :-(
BEWARE: If you love your car, and cars are so expensive to maintain now, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE! STOP GOING TO FIRESTONE! They do not care about people or their families, and they do not care about people's cars!
WARNING 2 of 2! On January 2, 2024, my car finally got towed to the Firestone on Madison. The Firestone in Southaven almost destroyed my vehicle and probably would have if I did not use the common sense God gave me to stop driving the vehicle after I realized there was no oil in it after I paid for an almost $80 oil change. I got my car there and I was told they would do a full vehicle inspection on my car. They Lied! I was called and told my tires dry rotted on the side and they would give them to me for a discount price under my warranty.
I asked, "When I get there can I see the tires for myself?" Mike said yes. He Lied! He got my car confused with someone else and then told me "Oh, all the tires are piled up out back." He should have set my tires to the side until I got there. He is not a man of his word. The tires they put on my car were really old new tires. Let me explain. I told the man, I guess Addison, that these were not new tires on my car, and he came out to look at them with me. And he argued with me up and down that they were new tires.
He said that "they were dated for the 16th week of 2023 so they are brand new." "Well, the 16 week in 2023 was April 23rd and that makes these old, brand-new tires that I am getting in January 2024. You're telling me I need new tires on my car and then selling me the oldest ones in the warehouse, making me think I am getting new tires when I am not, so you all can rid your warehouse of old tires is not cool." They are tricking all of these customers into buying new tires when we don't really need them.
A young lady just told me they were trying to do that to her a month prior and her mom called them and said she don't need new tires. I wish I would have gone down there to investigate the tires on my car when he called and told me that lie because from my recollection those tires were fairly new. They are in the business of tricking, scamming, overcharging, ripping people off and destroying people's cars and lives. After driving my car for less than an hour after the repair of the oil pan from damage from the Southaven location and con into buying new tires that I didn't need, my car started putting really bad as if it was going to cut off.
I was so scared because I had my son with me and I did not want to get stranded. I stopped in a parking lot and called Mike (the manager) and told him what was happening. His reply was "Oh yeah, after we got the car it was already sounding funny." I told him, "My car was not doing that before I brought it to you. Mind you, they said they would do a full vehicle inspection and if my car was making this noise, putting loud, why didn't you tell me when you called me about the tires and offer to fix/repair whatever the problem was? Liar! He told me about my car needing control arms, sway bars, stabilizers, another $1,038 worth of work, but you did not mention my car stalling, putting, not running right when you called me?" That's because they did not do a full vehicle inspection. My car did sit for 3 months because they refused to fix the oil leak problem that THEY caused.
I am so done with Firestone. So many people I know talk so bad about Firestone dating all the way back in the 80s, 90s with issues they have had with Firestone. I always told people that I never had an issue with Firestone. I have been taking my Camrys to Firestone for over 18 years and never had these types of issues, distrust, tearing up my vehicles, lying to me, ripping me off, telling people they need work or items that they do not need, mainly almost destroying my vehicle. This is so sad. I will NEVER take my vehicle back to Firestone. I'm scared to take it back to get the tires rotated on the warranty. PLEASE, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT SUPPORT US AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS OR OUR VEHICLES!! Consider yourself warned.

I also bought lifetime tire rotate and balance. I have been following the required guidelines from the manufacturer and getting it serviced in Firestone.
On 30DEC2023, I took it for the tire balance rotate. At 87,985 miles the tires are worn out, the tread depth is 3/32. This is only 30,776 miles, not even close to 35,000 miles, the half the life. The invoice # **, store # 019194. They offered me another set of tires at prorated price. With the given experience with Firestone, I do not want to buy another set of Firestone tires. I need to have my money back. Please contact me as soon as possible.

The work wasn't performed properly and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Tennessee state attorney's office but Firestone will not accept any responsibility. I've used this card multiple times and always pay it off, I contacted CFNA to close the credit card because you have lost a customer because of this situation.

We take my son's car to the Firestone auto shop for some maintenance and a minor repair costing us 1400.00. When we got it back, we immediately had to take it to BMW dealer and have 10000.00 work of damage repaired. After David (Mgr of the Camp Pendleton store) confirmed fault by the incompetence of his technician causing this damage, Gary **, some corporate suit decides to jack around for months in resolving this case and blames all the issues on wear and tear which according the BMW dealer is not only a cop out by Gary ** but a flat out lie.
We had the vehicle inspected by BMW and their findings are 90% of damage to my son's car is due to the technician stripping (cross threading) one bolt in the primary cooling system of the car causing a cascade of failures. Again, confirmed by David and his technician at Camp Pendleton Firestone and BMW whom was good enough to send me picture and video proof of their findings.
Gary ** is not only the most horrible communicator (and by that I mean non-existent communicator but completely unprofessional in every way). Not only will he lie to you, he makes promises and doesn't follow through. Gary ** goes out of his way to make sure you are inconvenienced as much as humanly possible by making sure payment for repairs (at a third of what he should have paid) doesn't reach the shop where repairs are being.
I have called, texted and emailed. ZERO response except to ask me to stop texting him. What nerve!!!! How about just tell me when I can expect payment you promised? Maybe call the shop where the check is being sent and let them know do they can release the car to my Marine son who has had to miss his Marine Corp Ball because of Gary **, has been made to pay 1000s of dollars more in expenses for Uber, Lyft and various other modes of transportation because of Gary ** refusal to follow through not to mention the three 400 plus tow charges we have incurred in addition to the damages caused by the company.
Gary ** is the sole reason I will NEVER purchase anything from Firestone again, nor will any of my family or friends. Both my sons are Marines that are stationed at Camp Pendleton. You might not feel a big sting but you will definitely feel it when you lose 100s of customers because of Gary ** lack of service, lack of communication and straight cowardice.
Gary ** made a written agreement, I have copies of, that his company would pay roughly 3400.00 of the nearly 10000.00 in damages caused by them. This was weeks ago. We are still waiting on payment. The vehicle went in the shop at Firestone on or about the 28th of July and has been at BMW for the better part of 2 months waiting on the check promised by Gary **.
BMW management said they have never seen this level of unprofessionalism (I have the emails backing it up) demonstrated by Gary **. Even towards them at BMW. BMW went above and beyond, absorbed 1000s in parts and labor due to the circumstances of this case and the utter disregard from firestone (especially Gary **) and the rest of Firestone Corporate offices.
These are not in any way shape or form insults directed towards any one man. They are statements of FACT that can be backed up by emails, text messages and records I have in hand from Firestone. Not one bit of this is exaggerated, fabricated or in any way embellished. Every word should be published to warn others from getting their vehicles serviced here.

My vehicle had a check engine light on so I went there on (11/1/23) to get a diagnostic check. I was charged $140 and told the EGR valve was “dirty”. The guy said he “blew into it” to clean it, put it back on my truck, turned the check engine light off. He told me he didn’t charge me for that service to save me money. (I didn’t know blowing into an auto part was a service.) I was given a laundry list of items that would need to be repaired if the check engine light came on again. 2 hrs later the light came on and an appointment was made for the next day. I dropped my truck off (11/2/23) only to get a call two hours later saying the repairs ($530) were done. I got in the truck and the check engine light is STILL ON. The tech attached a device and pressed the buttons four times before the light went off. (He was busy talking on his cellphone.)
I drove ten minutes to my house and the light was on AGAIN! I called the store only to be told, “You need to fill your gas tank and drive it for a while. The light should go off.”…It didn’t! I took my truck to TWO auto care centers to get the free diagnostic test and both indicated the EGR valve needed to be replaced!! Yes, the same part Firestone “blew” into to clean on 11/1/23. I’m extremely mad because I just spent money on unnecessary repairs that had NOTHING to do with the EGR VALVE!!! I went to the store on 11/6/23 to let them know the check engine light is STILL ON, expressed my disappointment with their services, and showed them the test results stating the error code indicated the EGR valve needed to be replaced. The guy stated he didn’t have any openings today which further angered me because it was 7am and two people in the waiting area.
I told him I didn’t trust them and that I feel like I’ve paid $700 for unnecessary repairs. He then tried to discredit the reports and refused to admit that I was right! If Firestone’s diagnostic test on 11/1/23 didn’t indicate the same error code then how did they magically know to take that part off and “blow” in it? I’ve filed complaints with their Area Manager and Consumer Support department in Nashville, TN. I spoke to the Service Manager to express my concerns, complaints and requested a full reimbursement for the expenditures on the unnecessary repairs. I have a meeting with Service Manager and the Store Manager on 11/7/23 to try to “rectify” the situation. I don’t trust them and feel like they saw a 5’2 woman and dollar signs. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY REASON! I WON’T!!!

On 9/3/23, I took my vehicle to Firestone in Orlando Florida on W. Colonial Dr. for a scheduled alignment and added a tire rotation service. After completion of the service, I was summoned by the service manager Adriana to come outside where my vehicle was parked in front of the business entrance. I proceeded to exit the building and met her on the driver's side of my vehicle where she then acknowledged that her service mechanic had broken the outside driver's door handle. She further stated that I could gain entrance by letting the window down on that side to get inside my vehicle. (?) Moving forward stating that she would get with her store manager (Eric) the following day and order the replacement door handle which should take about 2-3 days.
I replied to her that I would need a rental car until this happens, she replied, "By the time a rental vehicle is approved the part would have arrived." Futhermore, Without being given any paperwork for the initial service nor documentation of such damage, I took her word and left with my vehicle. The following day would be Labor Day (Monday), I didn't receive a call from the manager (Eric) of that location. I waited the three days still no reply from them. After experiencing such as hassle and inconvenience of accessing entrance (ie. rain, heat and having to gain entrance by opening the rear door reaching over the driver's seat to push open the driver's door and catching it before it closes) into my vehicle, I decided to rent a usable vehicle to conduct my daily business.
Now it's been ten days at this point, I received a voicemail on 9/13 & 9/14 for which I wasn't aware of, headed down to Firestone on the 9/15 and was told by Eric (Store Manager) that the part has been there since the 13th of Sept. He further stated that it could be installed by one of his mechanic at a later time that same day, because I didn't have an appointment; I agreed and hung around outside without their knowledge. WhiIe parked across the bay area of the building I acknowledge the mechanic (Manny) viewing the two door handles (New One & Original one on my Vehicle).
I decided to walk over to the bay and see what was going on; acknowledging that I am the owner of the vehicle that he's working on, he said to me and I quote, "This is the wrong door handle" and that he needed to inform his manager, ad he walked towards the front area of the store. I proceeded to return to my rented vehicle parked in front of the local postal office directly in front of Firestone work bay.
Minutes later Manny returns with the store manager (Eric). They then thimble around trying to determine what to do, then another ** mechanic joins them, they fiddle around for a second then both walks away leaving Manny there to install the wrong door handle. After installing the door handle Manny drives my car around to the front of the store, I then proceed to drove my rented vehicle around and park and go inside the store, as I entered Eric acknowledged and said, and I quote, "I was just about to call you and close you out, your vehicle is ready". I replied, "Eric, that's the wrong door handle." He then stated, "Let me get Infiniti dealer on the phone" for which he did and ordered what was supposed to be the corrected door handle, informing me that it would arrive in three days and that I could at least have access into my vehicle.
Upon opening my door it would stick, I then went inside and inform Eric of this. He came outside and tried for himself and as he did the key entrance portion fell out and he said, "I'm glad it did while I was here." He proceed to keep the fallen part to use once the new handle arrives. I had my friend drive my car to Enterprise to return the rented vehicle. This all occurred on the 15th of September, the new replacement door handle didn't arrive until 10/3/23. Now it's been a month since the incident and replacement.
I then ask Eric & Adriana if they were going to cover the rental cost for the time I was inconvenient, she stated that she would get with Eric, after taking a copy of my rental agreement. I didn't hear back from her after four days, so I went to the store on the 5th day and Eric and her were both there. I asked her what was his reply and she looked with horror in her face and shook her head no. Eric intervene and said, "No I'm not covering it." I asked him why and he said, "I'm just not covering it." More to be added.

Took our vehicle to the local Complete Auto Care location to have two front tires replaced. During the replacement the tech damaged an ABS sensor. They offered to replace the sensor so we took the vehicle back and had the sensor replaced. As we left the location we noticed that several warning lights were still on the dash. We returned to the counter and was told that the lights were on when the vehicle arrived originally which is not true. They are all linked to the ABS sensor that was damaged by the tech.
They stated that they would order another sensor that the one replaced must have been defective. Now over a week later I have contacted corporate and spoke to two people that promised a call from their supervisor which I have not gotten. I have also attempted for two days now to contact the location of which they are now avoiding me at all cost. Over the last 10 years I have been a Complete Auto Care credit card hold and spent several thousand dollars on tires and service. I will never spend another dime with them. Both Firestone/Bridgestone acknowledged "debris" had fallen in my engine area, requiring engine repair and they offered to have it taken somewhere to fix it. Bridgestone Claims coordinated towing my SUV to a dealership for a diagnostic service after asking which specific dealership I'd want it repaired at.
Once the estimate was ready, Bridgestone decided against paying the costly repairs and offered me a ridiculous settlement amount via email. Work order: 276377 Store #: 028444 Service Advisor: 13 PARKER. I’m Derand **, and I have lost trust in Firestone Complete Auto Care. I don’t believe they have been truthfully and they have been extremely deceiving. They have had my car 4 days going on 5 now. I booked an appointment for my 2010 Audi A6 with Firestone Complete Auto care located at 10553 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32257-6208 for September 3rd 2023 at 1200 est. I booked the appointment because I suspected a small leak of antifreeze from my vehicle. I say small because it didn’t leak on to the ground. I only noticed it because every 4 or 5 days for 3 weeks, my low coolant alert would come on and I would add more coolant.
I made my appointment with Firestone and explained the same. The employee acknowledged and said they can’t run leak test and let me know where the leak is coming from. Later that day Firestone called and said I needed to replace the water pump, as it was the issue and had the leak. I agreed for to the repairs over the phone. I was told the part had to be ordered and will be in on Monday. On Monday, September 4th, toward the end of the work day nearing 4 pm, I received a call from Firestone. The employer stated that they can’t complete the work due to my car having a supercharger (which is standard factory for my vehicle) and explain they don’t do work on supercharges. I was told it would need to be taken to the Audi dealership.
He also asked has anyone done any work to my engine. I felt that to be odd, but I answered “no” because no one had. I asked why and he stated it looked like it had been. So then said no again and asked were the mechanics able to reassemble my vehicle. He said that no one took anything apart and that no one touched it. I questioned his statement, and he doubled down that no one touched my car. He told me there would be no charge for the leak test or the part that was order and that I can come pick-up my car.
My wife leaves work early to take me to get my vehicle, we arrived about 20 minutes before closing. The explains the same and again tells me no one touched the car. I get my keys to retrieve my car. Before I started my car I wanted to check my coolant level because the things told to me didn’t make sit right nor make a lot of sense to me. I look at my coolant level and it was extremely low. It was full when I drove it to them. I went to put more coolant in the reservoir tank. When I touch the tank to remove the top, I notice the tank moved to freely, it wasn’t firmly secure as it once was. I then notice a hose coming from the tank dangling and detached from something going into the engine. I also see coolant spilled about the bottom area of the engine.
I immediate go back inside and notify the employees. The manager came out and looked for himself and said, "Oh man I see it, this is probably your problem. Don’t worry we will order a new hose and replace it." "You told me no one touched my car, it clearly look as if someone did." He said “I was told it wasn’t touch but I see what you are saying, but no worries we will order another hose”. I had to call my wife back to come pick me up from Firestone.
On Tuesday September 5th, I received a call from Firestone. The employee told me that a claim had been made for my vehicle and they are waiting on a decision to come back to tell them what to do with my vehicle. I didn’t understand why a claim needed to be made. I asked, "Why is there a claim if you didn’t touch my vehicle?" The employee tapped danced around my questions and told me it was out of their hands essentially and claims will be contacting me. Today, September 6th, I reached out to Firestone for a status of my vehicle. No status, other than a claim is in. I have yet to receive a call from claims. I told the employee that was unacceptable and I have been without my vehicle for 4 days. I don’t have an alternate car. I asked will Firestone assist in rental and he said no.
I am a retired Navy Officer of 23yrs, I know when someone is blowing smoke. This is exactly what Firestone is doing. I believe they attempted to work on my vehicle and ran into issues but will not disclose that to me. My car is a standard 2010 Audi A6 with no modifications. Before Firestone began the leak test to determine my they should have known and/or looked at the factory specifications of my vehicle to see it was a supercharger, not to mention it’s a badge on the side of the car that says supercharger. They continue to order a part that they believed I needed to make repairs without verifying if they can install it. Once the part arrived, it was suddenly discovered that my car has a supercharger, and they can’t do the work…I don’t believe it!
They then question me on if anyone had done engine work to my vehicle…nonsense! I believe they attempted to work on my vehicle and couldn’t repair it so they button it back up. However, they didn’t tighten down the coolant reserve tank as it once was and somehow detached the hose leading from the reserve tank to the engine (it is detached from the engine side). I feel they are trying to manipulate me. This is completely unacceptable. I have been a loyal customer at this Firestone for 3yrs. I have always taken my wife car there. This was the first I have taken my Audi. That was against my better judgment, but I figured what’s the harm in just finding the leak.
Well going on 5 days later without my transportation…it was significant harm. I was able to drive my car there, but I can’t drive it away because of something they have done. I want my car the hose put back intact, and car fixed. I have to find a ride to work due to Firestone negligence. This is shameful for an established auto mechanic establishment.

This is above a 150% markup. In addition, they charged 1.5 hour for the work when in fact the national labor guide stated .8 of an hour. To make matters worse, they claim to price match which they clearly did not honor. This is false advertising. Zero rating. In January of 2020 I purchased new tires at this location with a 70,000 mile warranty. Two days ago, my tire pressure warning light was on, so I went to Firestone, and they filled my tires. I asked the gentleman to check my tires as I am planning to go on a road trip. He suggested that I replace the tires as they are 6 years old, manufactured in 2017. I asked him to look in his computer for my purchase history. He did and stated there was nothing in the computer. I was concerned but asked that he give me a quote for new tires. He explained they were having a sale beginning in September, so I would receive $100 off the purchase price. I booked an appointment in September.
I went home, found my receipt and the next day, yesterday I went back to Firestone. I spoke to a different individual and asked why I would need to replace tires that I purchased here in 2020 with a 70000-mile warranty and only drove about 20,000 miles on these tires. He needed to take a look at the tires, he made the same recommendation to replace the tires. He stated that the tires are past 6 years and they should be replaced. I also asked if they were trying to take advantage of a senior citizen or female. I asked to speak to the manager.
Well Edward was the individual who I spoke with yesterday. Edward approached and said oh yeah, I remember you from yesterday. I showed him my receipt for the tire purchased in 2020. Call last month to get $222 reimbursed they said would have by 5th of Aug...Not true. Called again because they took another payment and now owe us $360. The first amount of $222 was never sent. Now they tell I have to wait 30 days, plus 7 to 10 days after that to receive a refund. Shady business practices. Don't trust what they tell you on the phone because they lie.
Oh, also they have a link on their website to request a refund, so I did for the $360 they owe me. Said will be processed within 7 to 10 days, but now the lady from firestone said that will not happened because they never received a payment of $360 from us... Yeah, because they took 3 payments of $120. I filed on them with the BBB. ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM IS REPORT THEM FOR WRONGDOING OF CUSTOMERS...

This is in reference to the Firestone at 10501 S Parker Rd in Parker, CO. I had my brakes replaced here one month ago because they were due to be replaced and heard it was cheaper to get them replaced outside a brand-specific dealership. First issue is they took forever to look at my car. What’s the point of scheduling an early morning appointment if you’re not even gonna look at the car until I return 2-3 hours later to ask you the status? Then, once I begin driving the car on the highway the whole thing shakes violently and even worse when braking.
I take the car back to them to see what the issue is. They take forever to look at it and I’m not sure if they even would’ve called me if I didn’t call them an hour before they closed (again had an early morning appointment). Then they tell me that it’s shaking because I used excessive braking for the first 600 miles of having the car. Makes NO sense. Because it NEVER did that before THEY worked on it. They offer to replace the brakes, but say it’s not covered under warranty because the cause was attributed to me. Then they say even if they replace the brakes they can’t guarantee it won’t begin shaking again. What horse **!
I just took it to the actual brand dealership of the car to get it serviced who said that Firestone on Parker Rd did an “UNACCEPTABLE” job at replacing my brakes and that they recommended I go back to let them know about it and get the problem rectified. Went back to Firestone to tell them what the dealership service department said and they, again, blame it on me. So that’s over $1000 I’m out of because of Firestone’s incompetence. Wish I would’ve just taken the car to my brand’s dealership in the first place so I didn’t have to pay for them cleaning up the useless work Firestone did. I will never take my car to another Firestone. Take some damn accountability!

Set up an appointment for Friday between 12 and 3 pm. Waited until 3 pm without any contact and called support for status. Held on call while the contacted tech which said he would ready out now. (3:30) Called support back at 4:30 as no contact had been made. They attempted to call tech again without response. They then assigned to pool for another tech by 6 pm. No further contact from tech or support and was complete no-show for service. Don't trust this service in Austin area...

Took my car there to replace the door handle. When they called me several days later to pick up the car, I found a "green" door handle on my "silver" car. It looked awful. They told me they do not do painting, and that I had to go paint the door handle somewhere else. Besides, I found a "check engine light" sign on the dashboard that was not there before. How can you return a car to a customer with a check engine light without any explanation? I refused to bring the car back to them because I know this is one of their habits, maybe to charge customers more.
They also left a very sticky glu-like liquid on the car that could not be removed after I took the car to the car wash. Had to get it brushed (maybe I should say scratched off) by a car wash attendant. Needless to say, they did not deem necessary to clean the car before I picked it up. All that for a price I would not even want to say here. Please avoid Firestone!!!! The government should really investigate these people, they have hurt too many customers.

I took my car in for repairs after my oil was leaking. I paid for a Complete Car Inspection which wasn't done. The informed me I needed an oil filter housing and an oil change. Had they done their job properly especially when they did the oil change they would have seen that there was radiator fluid and metal shavings in the oil. That means I would have needed a head gasket and new engine. Instead they did unnecessary repairs and charged me a ton of money. My car broke down after less than 48 hours of having it "serviced " at Firestone. They refuse to take responsibility for this. They have horrible reviews and subpar service and charging $ for unnecessary service repairs. My car was junked 3 days after service. They never should've repaired my car if they had been honest instead they just wanted my money.

I have had a Firestone credit card for decades, this year they changed the card to a MasterCard to where you can use it anywhere that accepts Mastercard. I activated the new card and it confirmed its activation and have a $450 balance due. That I always pay on time, and I always pay more than the minimum amount due. I went to make a purchase online at Target, my second purchase with this card and my card was repeatedly declined. Target was of no help, foreign reps could not grasp the problem.
So I called CFNA, more foreign reps. They said they sent me a text and email to confirm my purchase. They said they sent me a verification text to my listed phone number... It was my landline! I said how can I receive a text on the landline, she said, "We called and you did not answer." I said it is because I am not home, how am I supposed to answer my landline if I am not home. Then she claimed that they sent me an email to verify my card (which mind you, I already did when I received it). When she confirmed my email address I told her I haven't had that email for decades. She wanted an alternative email and a textable phone number. I said, "I don’t want you texting or emailing me." I gave them to her anyway, but reiterated they were not to contact me on my private, personal information.
Then she demanded that I send them a copy of my driver's license or they would not reactivate my card. I said I am not doing that, I don't want my personal ID information on yet another computer that can be hacked. I advised her that Oregon Motor Vehicles was just hacked and our photos and state ID numbers and partial SS# were compromised. I told her this is the 5th time my info was breached by a company who claimed to be encrypted. She would not reactivate my card. Tell me this, after $450 in verifiable purchases were they insisting I re-verify the new card, when they activated it over the phone and let prior charge go through.CFNA needs to lose their banking license. I need my card to keep my car running so I can get to much needed medical appts.

My total bill after they applied a $10 coupon on "my behalf" was $171.50. When I asked for an explanation, it was due to the "European Oil Needed" for my car. Ok, they put Penzoil in my car! I called Bmw of Plano and it would have cost me $151.62 at the dealership! The local Kwik Kar in Lucas, Tx gave me a price of $102.85 with the same "European Penzoil". I've never in my life (53 years) paid $171.50 for an oil change. This came from their Allen Tx store located at 600 E. Stacy Rd. IF 0 STARS WAS AN OPTION, THAT'S WHAT I'D GIVE! On Aug. 25, 2022, we were told we needed to purchase 4 new tires and it was recommended to purchase a lifetime alignment by Rob, the sales representative at the front counter. We agreed and paid $758.69, however, they failed to notify me that the rim was cracked when they put tires on the car. When I took the car back because the tire on the cracked rim kept going flat, I was then notified of the cracked rim and it needed to be replaced. I then got the rim replaced and brought the vehicle back to have the tire they just put on the car replaced. We have been going back and forth since Dec. and they are now failing to replace the 2 rear tires as they are bald. How are 50k mile tires bald in 4 months with only 2k miles on them?
Firestone charged me for 4 "new" tires, yet the rear tires are a different brand, not the brand we purchased. So with that, they charged me for 4 "new" tires, only placed 2 "new" tires on the vehicle and rotated the original tires to the rear, thus why they are bald and now needing replacement. Instead of honoring the purchase, they are refusing and attempting to charge us another $450 for 2 more tires? They then claim an alignment is needed, but didn't acknowledge the lifetime alignment that was purchased on Aug. 25 and paid for Aug. 30? This horrific behavior is known as fraud, theft, fraudulent inducement, violation of DTPA and Consumer laws! I expect this to be rectified IMMEDIATELY!

They don’t care if you come back and feel they have cornered the market in auto service. They are taking the Firestone name and dragging it in the mud. They don’t stand by their warranties or word. I purchase four new tires five months before this last incident. Which means everything is under warranty and I purchased extra standard alignment warranty at time of tire purchase. I have been communicating with very nice customer service people in the complaint department over the phone for three weeks and they keep telling me area manager or division manager would call me back. No one has ever called back.
The current scenario: Took four days to fix a tire with a slow leak. Was lied to when I asked about the alignment being completed. Was told alignment was complimentary due to excessive wait. Took vehicle to another location and was given proof work was not done as stated. When I went into location for remedy, I was all but told I was lying. Toby and Tim, both managers, were rude and condescending. Treated me differently than other customers. Told me work would be done in seven days and told person in front of me, work would be completed end of day.
Asked for reimbursement for alignment and balancing and was told by Tim “Why should I have to pay for something you weren’t sure you even needed”. Don’t support this location. Also must mention, those surveys Firestone ALWAYS sends after your recent visit/service . Well, interestingly after three weeks I have not received a survey to tell about my visit. Perhaps they don’t want to hear or perhaps the customer service rankings are already so bad they don’t want to add more complaints. Either way, after 20 years of receiving requests for feedback - I have not received anything!

Firestone of course tried to blame Auto Zone and the dealership, but it ultimately comes down to the tech who installed my Axels. Firestone gave the wrong VIN for the parts. Firestone finally accepted liability and said they would pay 100% of the repairs. The dealership is trying to get payment but can't get ahold of anyone for payment.

I went online and bought my daughter 4 tires, I added all the bells and whistles so that she wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. This is the first time I have used Firestone since we are new to the Raleigh NC area. I spoke with the shop on Monday and she went in on Tuesday to have the tires put on. When they were finished, they told her she owed them 115.00. She paid them then called me because I have done this for her every year for over 10 years and she never has to pay out of pocket.
So I contacted the store for a 2nd time and they told me that the tire I had purchased to be shipped to the store wasn't in stock and that they chose another tire to ship without contacting me. I wasn't notified at time of purchase on 12/09 and we had to wait for install for it to ship. The store upsold the tire, installed it, and then notified us after the work had been completed that there was a 115.00 difference in price. They got us this time but will never get my business again. If I had been told at time of purchase it wasn't in stock or even when the store got the tire in on Monday the 19th that the tire wasn't what was ordered but they intentionally baited and switched... Firestone complete Auto Care at 16556 Bernardo Center Dr. San Diego, CA 92128. This place used to be ExpressTire and got acquired by Firestone. The service is getting worse under Firestone ownership. First of all, they will charge diagnose fee for most of the repair. You have to pay the fee even if they can't fix it. This was one time (6/8/2022), I sent my car for repair of "check engine light", They couldn't fix it and I paid $50. That was a waste of time and money and I had to go to other repair shop to repair and the Firestone's diagnose was useless and Firestone knew that. And I spent time to argue with the service manager, but it got me no nowhere since the manager gave me all kind of reasons not to refund the diagnose charge.
I went there again on 12/10/2022 for replacement of radiator. I called first to get the quote, it quoted as $799. When I went to the service desktop, the manager mentioned they would charge me a diagnose fee and I began to argue with this kind of diagnose fee and saying that if for some reason my car cannot be repaired, can I have the diagnose fee waived? I did not understand his "not so straightforward answer" and later became an argument. Very soon, he told me to go away, he did not want to do business with me. To sum up: do not go to Firestone to do any repair since they may not be able to perform the service you want, and you may lose time and money (diagnose fee) for getting nothing.

I brought it to infinity who after research said the oil was sludge and compromised the engine. I had to have it replaced. I filed a claim with Bridgestone and the case manager let me know that the site in Rock Hill, SC did indeed change my oil and since I didn't give them first right to look at the engine they couldn't help me. I told them that when light comes on for something under warranty I bring it to Infinity since it is a newer vehicle. They said they had an invoice showing it was changed but I showed them that the original filter was still in the car which was what the claims person said was changed. The idiot then said that infinity could have said anything to get me to change the engine and they wouldn't cover the cost (Are you kidding me).
Basically this idiot said infinity would just make it up and put a stock filter in to get an engine change. When I told him that he is basically calling Infinity liars he said if I had a problem to send my Lawyer to talk to him. Unbelievable what a piece of crap this guy is. And to top it all off I filed a Better Business Bureau claim against them and the BBB came back and said Bridgestone doesn't take BBB complaints. Then I got a lawyer with experience with Bridgestone and he told me Bridgestone keeps things in courts until consumers quit trying due to the cost of battling them. They would rather piss off consumers and screw them over vs doing what is right I guess. I will never use them again and definitely will ensure nobody I connect with does either. For the 15K they are screwing me over, I guess the best thing I can do is make sure I lose them as much in sales as possible. Updated on 12/02/2022: Contacted by Bridgestone thru this review asking for specific info so this could be escalated to regional manager regarding my complaint. That was on November 30th. For the I think 5th time now as I have lost count. That this would be sent to a regional manager and guess what? It is December 1 and not one person has contacted me AGAIN! I guess I need to escalate this myself! I am so tired of this company lying to me and could care less about their consumers and their safety and they're stealing money from people to make a profit for themselves! Do not ever take your car or truck to any Firestone Complete Auto Care as you will regret it!
Original Review: Regarding Firestone: My truck had wheel bearings basically go out. I saw Firestone when driving home and pulled in. Next day they quoted me close to 700 for wheel bearings and brake job. Day after that they call and say spindles we're shot on front, right and left side, price jumped to 1630 for repairs, 799 of it was labor. And that ended up being for one side. They called on Sep 21 to tell me truck would be ready in couple of hours. I at this point still had no clue they had only done one side. It was already getting to be traffic time so I told guy, I would be in in morning. Went in and truck was still on rack in air w/ passenger side wheel not even on truck.
A few hours passed and my son was with me so I asked what issue was. Manager said mechanic was have heck getting spindle off. I was under impression that truck was already fixed. They were doing everything they could to get it off, I asked him what that meant as it was to already supposed to be completed which I never got answer to, he said they were back there grinding on it and would let me know something soon. More hours pass. After some research, I now know they were probably talking about the nut that attaches spindle to a knuckle and a lot of times they just get basically melted together and it's hard to get nut to come off. So manager says, "I'm going to send my guy to a pick and pull and I will eat spindle." My son was sitting right there when manager said this! Meaning as he said he will not charge me.
So again hours are passing and they close at 7, around 6 poor guy in front I kept bugging front store attendant as I was getting very angry because I had not seen one person all day, even touch the truck, we could see it thru window. Guy finally decided to tell me the mechanic that was only one that could do the work had left for day! I was about to explode. So I told guy I was now going to have to pay for a Lyft again to go back home as me and my son were exhausted being there all day. Next morning they call and tell me that truck was done but they couldn't get a spindle but I could come get truck, they would order spindle which would take 4 days to get. I could then come back and they would put it on or I could leave truck another week till they got part. I asked if it was safe to drive, guy said, "Oh yes, only thing is it will wear out your bearings faster and we would be in same situation."
I had my phone on speaker and again my son heard every word. I like most people believe our mechanics like we do our drs. So I go and get truck pay 1630 for other work that was done. 799 in labor and saw they also charged me for two routers I did not give permission to even do. Nor know they needed to be done. They claim they told me well I paid, went home and week later no call so I called they say manager not there, left message for him, he never returned call. Two weeks later, I'm on highway taking my son to chiropractor. Fixing to exit Coit Rd. Brakes completely gave out on me with horrid squeeling sound from pads and was able to go side of highway. Called them, they said they would have it towed to them. Passenger side tire was about to break off, it was leaning! Guy called, told me it was all under warranty and it would be 4 days.
Again every conversation was heard by my son. Two days later manager calls, tells me it's going to be 7 days instead. I again asked him if under warranty, he said yes except spindle and cost would be over 700! I was livid. I said, "What about you supposedly eating spindle?" He said he never said that. I basically had to hang up because I was so mad. Found out with issue like that we could have been killed as that is usually what happens on wheel bearings failure the tires can fly off! I called corporate 3 times, have still not had call back. Today Nov 8th, called Bridgestone, filed my fourth complaint because I have not gotten one call back from corporate whatsoever regarding my complaint! ** The manager finally called back today at around 2:30 said part was a mile away and truck should this operative word should be ready tommorow!
They did not give me my old parts back either as I had requested they do. I also noticed they slipped a piece of paper into original invoice stating I refused left spindle! Complete lie! As with second invoice they slipped another piece of paper in stating I refused routers! I have been charged over 20000 dollars and not sure they even did what they stated they did as far as work done on truck. I will be talking to other mechanic to check what they claimed they did! These people at Firestone are liars and thieves! Why would I have went in and sat all day if I had refused spindle? I have proof of calls and of my Lyft drive and location as to when I was at Firestone and my son as witness as to messages statements!
Also claimed they did not charge me for 2 routers which is not true as it shows on first invoice I was charged for 2 in the amount of 359.98! Truck went in on 9/10/22 then out on 9/22/2022 first time second time went in Nov as supposed spindle just broke on its own? Spoke to manager stating I wanted some of the money back he refused. Firestone should be ashamed as to treatment of consumer as we are ones that pay their bills. I want full refund of second invoice and some off of 1st invoice for all the lies and not doing a good SAFE job which could have killed me and my son whom is handicap having only one leg due to losing his left due to cancer. And I have heart failure and this stress is not good. I am petrified to even drive it now not knowing what they have or haven't done!

I’m disgusted. I made this appointment 3 weeks ago because I had my brake pad checked at a shop close to home but I was coming to Olympia WA for some business and figure be good timing. Made appoint for 9 am it is currently 11, a few minutes ago, the front desk manager guy came out, said, "Oh after our ‘inspection’ you need new calipers, etc. It’s all gonna cost over 1000 $." I said, "Nope just the oil. I’ll find a place closer to home," still waiting on my car,
I Google this place and read similar experiences. I came here once a while ago but was a younger kid who was awesome. At that time they are efficient and did recommend any nonsense stuff. Do not come here if you're in Olympia on Herron near the Capital. Not only will the manager guy refer to you as my guy a million times but time is a luxury here apparently. So excited me now while I go pay for my overpriced oil change to boot and lost a couple hrs of my time. Do not recommend ever

I made an appt. on Firestone's website for my state's required vehicle inspection in order to renew my registration. Once there at the service center, the person assisting me at the counter provided me with a quote of $30.00. When I went to check out, it was $40.00. The difference was a $10.00 charge to inspect my windows for tint. My state's required inspection checklist ONLY requires window tint inspection if the tint was applied AFTER market. I purchased my car brand new with no window tint and I have never added or changed anything to my windows after I purchased it.
I would have expected if they were going to charge me extra on top of the quote they provided, they should have addressed it BEFORE beginning the inspection and asked me about my windows. Lastly, $30.00 is not customary for a state inspection as after my visit to Firestone, I shopped around and found other non Firestone service centers much less expensive. Won't be going back to Firestone.

Updated on 10/07/2022: I contacted manager next morning, he refused their responsibility and did not show sincerity to solve the problem. I sent it to Toyota dealer on Monday, the Technician inspected vehicle and found the oil leak coming from the oil cooler pipe. The car had no leak before, both Toyota dealer and Firestone did not point out oil leak.
Original Review: My car worked great, as I know there is no any oil leak in my garage. I had spark plug replacement changed as well as engine's gaskets on January for 120k maintenance in Toyota dealer. The last maintenance is August 29 at Toyota dealer. I went to Firestone for alignment only on Saturday. But they checked engine oil level and others, it showed normal on the document they provided. They asked to do whole spark replacement and engine's gaskets but I did not authorize. I smelled Acrid Smoke when I drove home after I was out Firestone, I found engine oil leak and tank is empty when I got home. My car has very good records, I kept all maintenance in Toyota dealer. I did not have any problem before this happened. Everyone can judge it... The store location is · 1717 High House Rd, Cary, NC.

I think I have a slow leak in one of my tires that I purchased from this store a few months ago and made an appointment to come in today at 4pm based on their online scheduling tool. I got the email that stated "If your requested appointment date becomes unavailable, we will contact you directly to discuss rescheduling to a time that’s convenient for you." I received no phone call or email. So, I took my car in as planned to have the tire looked at.
When I walked in the lady behind the desk told me that they cannot look at the tire today and that the online scheduling tool "isn't that good". She went on to say that she "wished more customers would call corporate and complain" about the online scheduler because it is not that good. I explained to her that I drove 20 minutes to have them look at my tire and she refused saying they do not work on any car past 3pm on Sundays. What a crock! So the tire that I need to have looked at (which may be flat in the morning) will need to wait until tomorrow. Never mind Firestone, I will go to NTB and have them take my business. Just a very frustrating adventure with them.

After emailing Firestone headquarters customer service division 2 people assist me with the matter and move my complaint to the head supervisor of that CS division. Gentle by the name of Robert was able to resolved the matter and had Firestone put on a oil pan, oil gasket and plug for free with no charge. I have been driving the car now for two weeks, no leaks.
I want to truly thank Headquarters of Firestone for resolving this. What 's still baffling is the franchise owner never call me back after leaving messages with him. I like Firestone and will continue using them but will use another store. Thank you Consumer Affairs for posting my battle with that location.

Updated on 08/12/2022: Day 11 of the Firestone Fiasco at Firestone Auto Care on Swisher Rd. Corinth, TX Store #744257 with store Manager "AJ." He somehow finally decides to call me back at 6:15 pm tonight about my car after it's been sitting in the same spot since Tuesday 8/9/22 at 5pm. The conversation didn’t go well. Maybe 5 minutes. Didn’t want to hear what he was saying. When he could have call me yesterday on his day off, he waits until 45 minutes before calling. Why is that? The store opens at 7am, he waits nearly 10 hours during the day and didn’t try calling me or asking the GM to call me. He says I have to pay for it and it oil pan, as I stated, "I brought my car in and the oil was not leaking. You change a filter and never oil and I start having major leaks." I ask him for the GM number. He stated he was not giving it out. Again I ask, "Can you please have him call me? I been waiting since Wednesday for a call from him."
As I said the General Manager Steve ** still hasn’t return my call. I ask a another manager to give him my number yesterday at 1pm and never got a call and no calls this morning or this evening from him or one of his people. Again we go back to what I said in my first letter. Its starts at the top with the store owner and management who works under him. But something GOOD that did happen today is someone from Firestone Customer Service Division email me back this morning at 10am and told me they were working fixing the situation, he also email at 4pm. He says someone from the Home office will be contacting me about a resolution to getting my car fix.
I have work tomorrow. I also have kids I have to bring to first school which was today, so I rented a car from Avis for the next three days because I’m expecting that’s how long they will come to see this was not my fault, which again I am asking and expecting Firestone to pay for it since no one wants to fix the car. And everyone keeps coming with the same story. We talk and they decide it was my fault and I need to pay for the repairs of oil leak I never came in for.
What’s so sad about is that I don’t trust them or their words especially the managers. I’m very concern about when because when it is finally resolve and the car is fix and no oil leaks, that these managers and technicians are not worthy of working on anyone let alone my car. Hopefully Firestone Home office will contact me before the weekend and gave me an update on a final resolution. I would surprise if I hear from Mr. Steve **.
I don’t know after dealing with the manager and the location if I ever want to go back there again. IT LEAVE A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH AND MY MIND, because I truly take care of my car. It has 225K miles. Again never had an oil leak in 10 years. I purchase the car in 2012 from one single owner with 78K miles on it. So hopefully when Firestone Home office looks at everything I have done on both of my cars with Firestone. They will see consistent with how I take care of my cars.
Original Review: As I’m writing this complaint about what has happen to me with my 2004 PT Cruiser MAJOR OIL LEAK and THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR $600 that they screw up with Firestone Auto Care on Swisher Rd. Corinth, TX Store # 744257 from 8/1- and still dealing with this present moment on 8/10/22 at 9:52pm. I hope and pray that someone in the upper management of customer service uses this complaint on how managers and assistant managers are supposed to be doing their job, and not just say “I’M GOING TRY MAKE TO CONTACT THE MANAGER OR THE GENERAL MANAGER."
I brought in my car for a yearly Alignment check and Coolant fluid exchange/w antifreeze that’s ALL nothing else. I left it on 8/1/22 before I went on vacation and on 8/5/22 to pick it up. When I finally got to my vacation people, they decide to call and recommend to me about change wiper blade, battery corrosion package, AIR FILTER, AND BRAKE FLUID EXCHANGE (which was just done 11 months ago by the same store # 744257), and OIL change because the stick was reading off the charts.
When you’re on vacation that’s last thing you want to hear is an agent calling to recommend 5 other things to do, when I went it in for only 2 things to be done should be no more than an hour or 2 hour job. So I told them only to do the battery corrosion package for $15 dollars, I told him I was going to change the oil when I get back at the dealership where I been doing for the last 10 years. But he says,"We can do the coolant Fluid exchange without changing the oil." So I say, "Go ahead do it." So later that day they call me again saying, "We try to change the oil," but their technician couldn’t remove the oil pan. It was too tight and they could see some bad threads.
So he states, "We will just add a little oil so we can completed the Coolant fluid flush. Everything should be fine." Again he never says there is an oil leak going on with the car. So these so called professional technician decided to remove the originally factory Chrysler oil filter from the dealership and put on their own Firestone oil filter because he didn’t know how to put it back on the car. So Friday 8/5/22 I pick up the car about 4pm. They give me the originally Chrysler oil filter that was on the car from Chrysler and I’m like, "What is this?" He says, "We never change the oil. We just change the filter", I was shock. Who puts a new oil filter on a car but don’t change the oil.
So I go to work Saturday and Sunday. I live about 20 minutes from my home. So Sunday morning I notice oil leaks in front of my house two of them and on Monday morning I notice another oil leaks. So I’m concern they did something to the oil pan or either strip something. So I go to Vanguard Buick GMC of Carrollton (BEEN GOING THERE FOR 10 YEARS (2012). 4 OIL CHANGES A YEAR NEVER HAD A LEAK EVER, because I’m concern about that firestone oil filter they put on. They change the oil and don’t find any leaks. So I notice later the next day another leak, so I go by Firestone and tell them, "This is still leaking," from when I had it on Friday I pick it up. And ask them to look it at and fix the issue, I stated to the manager, "I need my car by tomorrow 8/10/2022 at the latest." He says, "We will get on it and get back to you as soon as possible."
I leave me my car yesterday at 5pm store # 744257. So you think they would have the decency to get a call earlier in the morning about it being fix, but somehow they finally decide to call me at 1:30pm today and one of the managers states he talk to AJ the head manager says I have to pay for the repairs on the oil leak and pan. It was not their fault or their technician.
And reply, "No way. I brought my car in for two things to be done and my car was not leaking oil when I brought it in on 8/1/2022." I told get AJ to call me or a General Manager of the store to call me so I can explain this situation. He then decides to say, “AJ going to tell you the same thing I’m telling you. We are not responsible for your car and its oil leaks. He tries to say Chryslers is responsible for it. I say, "I need AJ to call me even if it’s his day off or give the GM number and I will called him. He states he can’t give his number out and will try to get the message to GM. So he calls me back in 45 minutes saying the same thing about the car if they fix it I have to pay for it. I told him, "Don’t call me with the same story," he says they all talk about it and feel I’m responsible for the whole bill. I state I need someone to call by 7pm tonight to get this rectify as soon as possible because I need my car for work and family. So he finally decides to give up the General Manager name which is Steve **.
I'm incredibly disappointed with the response. As I expected very disappointed with the store and the management. I have been going there since the store open in 2008 its starts. But this starts from the top and goes to the bottom when you have management who can’t return a customer’s call. So these so call professionals label as managers, assistant managers. Really disappointing overall and now I'm left with a vehicle for 24 hours because management didn’t want to talk to me about how this all came about. Made me leave the auto shop knowing my oil was leaking and didn’t try to tell me which was unsafe to be on the road. I do have pictures of the oil leaks. Have showed the managers how bad it is.
What ‘s so baffling is on the firestone website it states, "We’ll always answer your questions and explain our work to you so you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in until you’re back on the road. We promise to provide the best customer service and offer the right solutions, so you can feel confident in knowing we’re your complete auto care solution. At Firestone Auto Care, we know your time is valuable." It seems like my time and my concerns about an oil leak on a my car isn’t as valuable as the company believes at Store #744257.

They told me that they will try to get the guy to look at the light but everything else will get done. Had a coworker pick me up. Haven’t received a call and usually I do between 11am-12pm to give me a status update on my car (based off prior service with them).
I called at 1pm and they told me that “the guy that check the light hasn’t done it yet but they are working on the oil change now” so I’m thinking ok great as long as they are working on it, it should be ready. On 5/26/2022 I went to Firestone on 1666 Boston Rd. Springfield Ma around noon. First I am a good customer. No one other than Firestone service my truck or cars for the last 15 years and spent thousands of dollars at this location, and have sent other business your way, as I have told family and friends they could always expect and receive good service. Till today service has always been good and in some cases outstanding! I mentioned the above fact to Dan, sorry to say I believe he's the manager, his response was: Good for you!
His attitude at this point was disrespectful and condescending. As demonstrated by the fact I told him I could not understand everything he was saying, I am hard of hearing (I have 2 hearing aids and that helps marginally). Again his curt replay and this is a quote "Get over here." In itself the response was disrespectful, compounded by the fact I need a cane to walk with because of failing health. Maybe he needs a class in empathizing with the customer. Note he also keep working at the computer with no eye connect. There are other things he said, including lying to me twice but this should suffice to demonstrate the poorservice and attitude. This all because I mentioned being upset about the poor quality tire they sold me putting my and my families safety at risk.
I bought a Continental tire which though only now has 20000 miles on it, the sidewall is degrading with splits developing 3 separate areas. Again because of my health my truck only has 23000 miles on it, most of which was done before my health declined. Next I was told not his responsibility showing a definite disregard for my concerns or needs. If you're concerned, I don't threaten, this is merely an advance notice, if not handled in a timely manner, I will be notifying the Massachusetts Department of the Disabled. Only have not contacted them as of yet is because of the good will built by Dan's predecessors who were always concerned, professional and accommodating.

At 7am I was told to leave car and would get me in after the call in appointments were taken care of, so why did I make a 7 am appointment?
When you make an appointment to any where your usually the first one, common sense, that why you made it at opening time. Lady in front of me same experience, I was thinking all good, I have a confirmation #, a reservation # but that means nothing. So I go to store 4 miles down the road just out of curiosity... Wrong! Long story short, service manager tells me when you make an ONLINE appointment, computer doesn't know that there are call appointments already... Makes sense, so online is useless and I'll never do again.
You have people making appointments that are not any good. if I would have known this I would have slept in on a Saturday. I am a service manager last 26 yrs for a semi trl shop, 44 bays. I know what it's like to make everyone happy but we never have appointments, never works, either they don't show or the job or took longer than expected which makes the next job later than planned and makes a domino affect on everyone behind that job... They're all going too late. I am a true Firestone customer, my daughter goes to store at A&M but was very disappointed in the way jobs are taken in. I had my car serviced that day with no issues.maybe get rid of ONLINE appointments... Service manager second location really did explain it the way it works... good job! Honesty good policy!

I was being quoted $900 for an oil change, spark plugs and brakes. I had to wait for three hours, then as I was checking out, I was told that a detailed receipt could not be printed but that a receipt would be emailed to me within the hour.
As of today, I have not received any statement, invoice or receipt showing the services allegedly performed. Then, one hour after I left the store, I tried to crank my car and the battery was dead. I had to call roadside assistance, who said that the battery would need to be replaced. This morning, one of my tires was flat. I called the store to discuss this problem and I was hung up on. Told me I needed a battery and wiper blades and I told them I bought them from them 10/2021. They replaced the battery and the tire for $51. 6 days later, back tire flat. Nail in exact place as was in front tire!!??? They don’t tow. Had to be towed to a tire place. There was a nail close to the rim so I needed a new tire! There was not a new tire from Firestone-they all had the same wear!! They took the tire with the nail, added air and put it on the back and put back tire on front. My tow and tire cost was $300+. They offered to return $51 I paid them on 1/26!!! Small claims is my next step. After posting on Facebook, many responses about how awful this place treated them too!!

Jan/ Feb 2021 I had Firestone in Oak Park, IL replace my Catalytic converter on my Buick Encore. Within a week I had to take it back. Engine light came on. Firestone stated they corrected the problem and I picked my vehicle up. Later in Sept of 2021 I took it back to Firestone due to engine light and code stating it’s the catalytic converter. Firestone called me twice stating it was my oil over filled, the next call was my oil filter bypass valve housing. I believe Firestone broke my filter trying to find something else wrong with it beside the converter.
So here we are a year later and I take my vehicle in for an emission test and it failed due to the catalytic converter which I told Firestone back in Sept of 2021. I paid Firestone $1500 for replace my converter and it is still not right. Then had to pay another mechanic to fix the housing that I believe they broke. I have placed a call twice to their corporate number and still no one has returned my call. I am not satisfied with the service I have received to this day.

My tires were all at the same pressure before, the tire in question is almost new, and the nail looked completely brand new like they just took it out of the box. They also refused to consider a repair, of course the only wanted to sell me a new tire. Criminals.

I brought my vehicle to have new Transmission and Motor mounts installed. After paying $500 for this service, I noticed a clunking sound coming from the floorboard and a high pitched whine while driving home a short distance. I notified the Manager there and was told to bring it in for assessment of the problem. I was not going to drive it on longer for fear of further damaging the vehicle. I took a photo of the underside and was shocked to see that the transmission had NO NUTS to hold it to the frame. I informed the Manager again, only to get the same lame response, "Bring it in." The damage is done and Firestone refuses to assume responsibility for their poor workmanship. Transmission shops want $3,500 for repairs!

This is by the worse Firestone I've been to by far. I've bought four new tires here 6 months ago and got two alignments done within the 6 months. I went to this facility 4 times because the tires were leaking air and the technician did not want to do the correct job and find the leak so they blamed it the on rim each time. Which there was nothing wrong with my rim. The fourth time I went I failed a pa inspection and my car is a 2018 Dodge Journey which is AWD. So I explained it to them and I made a appointment online. I called them afterward and they said the online appointments are only for suggestions and it's not mean you will always get a appointment that day even if it said it was available.
Because they ignored the issue for the 3 times when I finally got in they tried to charge me full price for 2 new tires even through I still had four tires under a 70,000 mile warranty. After explaining I had less then 10,000 miles on them the prorated the tires and I still had to pay for the two tires. Now I am paying 1300 on tires that's two I don't even have any more and two that the firestone in Scranton had no idea about.
The normal wait time with a appointment at this facility is a minimum of 2 hours. Which they are extremely rude here. I have personally never wrote a review like this but the truth needs to be said and heard about the facility. They will say they rotated your tires and never do it also. Personally after my warranty is officially over because I was done wrong I will never work with firestone again. Nor will I recommend them to a friend ever again.

I was at Firestone yesterday to ask about service. I needed new tires, brakes and an oil change. Not cheap. We have spent thousands of dollars with this Firestone. They said to come back the next day and they could do it within the time frame in which I could wait for the work to be done. Approx 3 hours. We made an appointment for 8am. We were told the car would be ready by 10:30/11.
I arrived at the appointment time of 8 am. At 10am, the car had still not been taken into the garage. I had to ask, why it was still sitting in the parking lot two hours after I arrived. They said…."let me look into it." Car was then taken in. They said the car would be ready by 11/11:30. If that’s the case…I could have arrived at 9:30 and been out the door at at the same time they had promised if I arrive at 8am. They uttered some excuse that didn’t make sense. All they had to tell me was the real reason. If they made a mistake, that’s fine. If they are unstaffed, tell me. Still waiting at 11:30.

My daughter's Corolla broke down while she was out of town, and she had it towed to the nearest open shop, Firestone of Carpentersville, IL. It needed a gearshift cable, and they also put ball joints on one axle. With a final bill of nearly $1700, I took the invoice to my mechanic and discovered this: cable costs $275 retail from Toyota, and Firestone charged $561. Book time on repair is 2 hours, and they charged $362. (When I called, they claimed their book time showed 2.5 hours at an hourly rate of $140, which is still just $350.) Ball joint was similarly overpriced. To add insult to injury, the light to the gear shift no longer worked after they finished repair. Since they were so far away, I will just get that fixed by my mechanic. When my daughter told me it was at Firestone I was concerned based on previous experiences, but I didn't imagine it would be this bad.

I talked to someone Sunday who said they couldn't handle it Sunday and arranged for me to come Monday at 4:00 Monday. When I arrived I got to have a contentious conversation with someone who believed I was their "bud". He said there was no one available to look at the truck and I needed to drop it off the next morning till he could have someone look at it. I was unable to do so as I need my vehicle to get to work. Having received such an unapologetic attitude I left and will find someone else to work on my family's vehicles. Really disappointing overall and now I'm left with a vehicle which is unsafe to drive.

After much research, I went to Firestone Complete Auto Care at 1200 S Magnolia Ave in Anaheim for tires and service for my wife's car and my car. The Sales and Service Specialist ** helped us. ** found us the most discounts available and went far and above to help us with the servicing of our vehicles. For example - I paid $10 to have my vehicle tested for tires, brakes, suspension, etc. They determined that I needed new front brake pads and quoted me a discounted price. When I came back to have the work done - they had forgotten to check the thickness of the rotors. It turned out the rotors were too thin and also needed to be replaced. ** told me that it was their error and I was not charged anything for the new rotors, just the original estimated cost I had been given.
Never have I ever had an automotive repair company do this - I am 75 years old and have had many car repairs done in my time. The customer service here is the absolute best and the work performed is top-notch. No corners were cut. My car has not handled this well since I bought it new. From now on this is the only place we will go to for service on our vehicles.

She then informed me they need an hour and a half prior to beginning the appointment. I provided feedback and informed her it is important for her to inform new customers the wait time is significant and avoid wasting their time. Her response was to tell me if I cannot wait by all means she will provide me my keys. I accepted them and left.
I called later and spoke to a store manager named Sheldon. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He claimed I was informed of the appointment expectation when I arrived at the counter. He provided a condescending apology and marketed websites such as Yelp and Facebook and he welcomed me to leave a negative review. I have just read some reviews where Sheldon has been rude and unprofessional to other customers. The owner must maintain the same attitude to accept this behavior judging from the natural response of claiming this is not in the normal. The customer service must be a reflection of their work quality. If you are seeking to be spoken down to, disrespected and not receive timely service, then this is the place for you. Look no further. Sheldon will exceed expectations in this area. I am not certain why anyone would return to this business in the future.
