Firestone store 817. Fitchburg Ma. I took the first car in to see why the driver's side windows would not work. First I waited 6 hrs for the only diagnostic tech they had even though I had an appointment. Then they finally said take it to the dealer. “The part is on back order” so I went to the dealer who had the part on hand. Did they even try to buy the part? Second, I took a car that had a new battery that kept dying. I told them the battery was “New” and they said they needed to put a new battery in, which then died like the other one. They said again they didn’t even know what the problem was and sent me to the dealer. They then wanted me to pay for their battery. When I said no they put mine back. The car is still in their parking lot because it needs to be jumped. I will never go here again.

I have been a loyal customer for 25 years of Firestone. During my time in the military, having Firestone located made my choice easy for vehicle maintenance. On 9/13/24 I went to my local Firestone needing tire replacement and was nearly killed by their negligence. I have an all-wheel drive vehicle, and they replaced two of my tires with the wrong sized tires. At first, I thought that the lack of traction was due to the rain on the roads, until I took a high-speed trip on various country roads where I nearly lost control of my vehicle countless times. To say it was a terrifying experience is an understatement. Upon my arrival at my destination 60 miles away I went to a local Firestone, and was told that they could not find anything wrong with my vehicle, even test-driving my vehicle.
I then drove the 60 miles back to my town, opting for the Firestone in the next town over for someone to determine what was causing my car to handle erratically. The technicians were able to determine in under 5 minutes that the wrong tires were put on my car, which would cause my all-drive vehicle to override my responses. It was recommended that I contact the corporate office to inform them of what happened to my vehicle in the event that there is any long-term damage done.
I did so on 9/23/24 and was given case number **. I was told that I would be notified by the local supervisor within 48 hours. I was never contacted. I called back 1-2 weeks later, and said that no one had contacted me, and was adamant that I am not contacted by the Firestone who had caused the problem. The local Firestone called me and left me a message for me to return their call. Needless to say, I did not return the call, and no one has called me since. Disappointed by the lack of customer service doesn't even come close.

Brought my truck in, got brand new tires and alignment done. When picked up had multiple lights on dash, alignment was not done right, was told quick fix, been waiting over a half hour still haven't been seen yet. With a appointment the alignment was not done right. Horrible service. Even with appointments these people don't care at all. You would think since they screwed up they would not make me sit and wait but this is what you get a job not done right the first time and now wasting more of my time on my day off and the saddest part is they never apologized or offered anything for the inconvenience or their mistake.

Please read this and avoid this Firestone location if you can. DO NOT trust their work. I recently two weeks ago visited this location for synthetic oil and filter change and car inspection for my Honda Odyssey. I think they did not change the oil but charged me for very expensive synthetic oil change. After going to home when I checked engine oil level, I was shocked to see that engine oil is very dark/black and thick. They also messed up my car and my van engine start making weird noise. I also notice that when they always recommend lot of expensive maintenance and if you don’t agree with it they do not like it. I hope Firestone as a company make notice of bad reviews they are getting due to bad practices.

I have been using the Firestone store in North Myrtle Beach, SC, for tire purchases, oil changes, tire rotations, front-end alignments and some service work since 2013 and have always been treated politely and the work has always been done well and my cars have always been ready when expected or sooner. The manager, Matt, and front-desk employees David and Chuck are always pleasant and honest. I went in December 3rd, 2024, with a question about work done on one of my cars the day before Thanksgiving and Matt politely listened to me, volunteered to go out to my car with me and within 2 minutes answered the questions I had asked and put my mind at ease.
Without me asking, he volunteered to give me a credit reducing the labor cost for the work that had been done and I left the store completely satisfied and grateful that Matt had been so pleasant and accommodating. The service there and the staffers have always been polite and willing to explain the work needed and to answer any questions about work that's been done, so my expectations were high when I went into the store December 3rd. Matt's treatment of me went above and beyond my high expectations. Jim **, Little River, SC

I dropped my car off this morning to get brakes and a new starter, they broke something putting the starter back on and can't get the part until tomorrow so my ride took me home but Firestone will not bring my car to me tomorrow, said I will have to find a way to them, meaning I will have to pay an Uber, just not right, they broke the part and inconvenienced me, they are not a fit company to do business with, I need tires, Goodyear or Goodrich will get my business and another shop will get my repair work done.

So it's never good time when our cars are disabled in any kind of way, and I know this from both sides of experience as a car owner and a Customer Service Advisor in the car world but one thing that makes a world of difference is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Sometimes that can make the difference in bad services in any industry this is true. But while we are searching for our forever home and the first snow storm our only car needed to be towed for a flat tire and when I let them know around 830 it was coming they said it would be after 1 possibly 2 before it was ready.
Our daughter was in town and although it was an inconvenience it was what it was so we knew it needed a oil change and tire rotation because we'd been so busy and broke but it was going to my place of empty Monday. Well I got my car back around 530pm and only to have had the same problem today at 12, noon. Same tire. They guess what they rotate my tires so now it's the front driver side but my dash tells me they didn't do their full job as well because it says right rear tire is low and that's where it was but they rotated it they just didn't retrain my wheels or patch my tire. What's the probability in 5 blocks I ran over something else in the exact same new tires??? Waiting to talk to manager Mike tomorrow because I'm sitting here waiting for my services to be fulfilled and then I will fix or delete my review as according to results.

Both of the Elyria Firestone locations are horrible. Abbe rd put a hole in a tire and never told us so. Said they’d install the tires we purchased then said they couldn’t. Later on when we had someone else install. They showed us a giant hole. We started going to the one on Griswald. Had good service for a bit. The last couple months it’s been horrible. We paid for lifetime alignments on two vehicles. No matter the situation we can’t ever can an alignment. Buy new tires through them. Need an alignment, nope. I’ve been short changed alignments 90% of my visits after my purchase of lifetimes. Had no problems getting alignments when they were 150$ a pop.

I needed an oil change so my wife has used this location before so I brought my car in after hers and figured I needed new tires on my 2020 Silverado as one had a slow leak so I let them do 4 Bridgestones on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. On Wednesday we drove her mother home to Queens. On the way back on the Southern State BOOM. Of course it happened where the Southern State has no shoulder. The car sensor stated I had no air in the front passenger tire but the problem felt in the rear passenger tire. I managed to get it to a small piece of shoulder and my wife saw the rear passenger tire was flat. It had approximately 50 miles on it. Defective tire? Small road debris? Incorrect installation?
Roadside assistance took care of this and of course you have to Jack up the tire to get the spare on this model so the roadside guy did a nice job and installed the spare. Friday morning my wife called Goodyear and told them about the tire. She brought it in and they told her they couldn't reset the tire sensor because it was a GM issue. Sure! Then they told her they could patch the tire. It had 50 miles on it! So they replaced it and charged her to balance the new tire instead to doing the right thing. Then the best part of all they put the spare in the truck bed. They were too lazy to put it back even though they had the car on a lift.
When I get home I am going to have to check the tire to make sure they actually replaced it and didn't patch it . When you are too incompetent or lazy to reset a sensor and replace a spare you have to question what else did they do wrong and I have to question was the tire put on correctly in the first place. Stay far away from this place. There are literally 8 other shops within a mile. Don't go here!

On October 26, 2024 while travelling to Richmond, VA. I noticed my cruise control was not working. The on/off button on the end of the stock was not activating. The on/off button was loose. The last time I used it was in August 2024 while travelling to Springfield, VA. The only other time someone drove my vehicle besides me was during the tire service. I filed a claim with Seath B. on October 29, 2024 and explained how I discovered the damage and told him the technician damaged the vehicle during the service. I have had the vehicle for 14 years and I take very good care of it with over 140,000 miles on it.
Seath B. is supposed to be a professional when assisting customers, on that day he missed the mark. He raised his voice to me in a very disrespectful manner while I was filing the claim. He should be a service advisor and not an aggressive automotive critic of customers' vehicles. Seath B. should be strongly considered to attend a refresher course in customer service relations. I was contacted by the claims department on November 1, 2024 and was told my claim was denied. I filed an appeal November 6, 2024 and expected a decision in two days and that hasn't happened. I purchased four new tires about a year and a half ago. The tires have an 80,000 mile warranty, and my car already had 86,000 miles, but I didn't want to have to worry about tires anytime in the near future. Recently, one tire was losing air. I took the car to Firestone (which I have to do or I could possibly void the warranty) and after waiting an hour, the person told me he removed a nail and sent me on my way. The tire was not fixed. Three days later I had to put air in, and then again in three days, and again in three days. I had to figure out when I had the time to go to Firestone WITH an appointment only to sit and wait for at least an hour for a repair that wasn't completed correctly the first time.
Today I had an appointment at 3 pm. At 5 pm I was still waiting and the car still had not gone in. When I asked about the status and mentioned again that this was a return trip, the person told me that a nail was removed the last time, but no repair was made! I couldn't believe it. I have wasted HOURS just to fix a leak in my tire and it has taken me two trips to do so. I can't express in words the REGRET I have with ever purchasing tires from Firestone and will never do so again. Also, after this visit, I don't even care if the warranty is voided because the customer service is so horrible. Do better Firestone. You had a good brand, but it has gone completely downhill.

My wife and I were traveling in Southern Oregon when I noticed an *Information Warning light appear on the display of my Subaru Impreza, indicating a possible loss of air in one of our tires. As I have been purchasing Firestone tires for our vehicles for decades, I immediately searched for a Firestone store close to our location. As luck would have it, there was a Firestone Complete Auto Care store very close in Central Point, Oregon.
I walked in, spoke to the Store Manager, Art **, and immediately felt as if I were in good hands. Mr. ** immediately had me pull up to a bay and had one of his employees research the problem, checked out all the tires and both Art and his colleague assured me that my tires were fine and that we were safe to drive the four hours back home to Arcata, Ca. They diagnosed that the problem was a faulty sensor in one of the tires, and that the 4 tires were just fine.
Needless to say we were relieved and grateful to Mr. ** and his team for treating us with the utmost of consideration and care. We have stayed faithful to the Firestone brand for decades in large part due to the impressive, high quality of people, like Art **, who manages your Central Point store with professionalism, integrity and concern for his customers. When called by Debbie, who claimed to be the manager then said she was the only one on duty and I needed to speak to the real manager Tony, to explain work needed and authorization for work, she listed tire replacement, tire sensor replacement, and brake pad replacement.
My daughter who took the call told her she would call her back with authorization. She called me and I instructed only the brake pads and we would get tires at another place. Debbie informed her on the call back "that she would fail inspection". This statement to her only meant if she got an inspection she would fail, which is not what we authorized or asked for. By admission Debbie agreed she only authorized brake pads at that time of the call. According to Debbie, when I spoke to her in person, the inspection was already completed when she called and they could not take it back. Essentially doing work without authorization and charging us for it. The other items were just placed on the ticket without any mention or need.
When I asked Debbie why, she said the parking brake is electronic and they have to engage it when changing the pads, I had my other vehicle worked on at the same Firestone a week and a half earlier and I have electric brakes as well and I was not charged this nor told they had to do this. I have no idea what TPMS diagnostic is or why they had to do it, she gave no explanation. After a day and a half of them looking at it again, I went, took my keys back and my truck because they kept telling me they didn't know the cause after supposedly replacing everything but the tranny.
Then stating it was the clutch fan was the cause, as you see my clutch fan was just replaced back in May with the radiator. So instead of trying to assist and help their customers they would rather play guessing games and cost them more money. Yes they replaced the motor but I still have no idea about how many miles are on it. I've asked 3 times, can't get anything back from corporate. I've been trying for 4 months. Updated on 10/14/2024: Update to my previous review, Oct. 14, 2024 updates; On 9/16/24 I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler to Firestone 1020 Airport Rd. Huntsville Alabama 35802. On or about 9/18/24 Firestone called me to inform me that my vehicle would not start and they do NOT know why, keep in mind I drove the vehicle there for a tune-up, advising me that I would have to have it towed to another mechanic to have it repaired. Also, I will have to pay $973.58 before Firestone can release the vehicle to the wrecker company. After a long conversation the price was reduced to $486.94, I reluctantly paid the bill so the wrecker company could tow my vehicle to another mechanic to fix the damage caused by Firestone mechanics.
After writing the first review a Firestone management contacted me on September 27, 2024. This manager (Joseph?) asked about my experience with Firestone, so I explained what had happened. After I finished, he asked How can I make this better? I told him he could give me my money back or at least he should give me the $486.94 minus the parts (spark plugs) $113.94. He said he would have to speak with the district manager and he would let me know if there was a solution to this situation. Honestly, I think Firestone should repay me for the damages they caused $483.13 (Rocket City Off Road repair Bill), the wrecker bill, and repay me the $486.94 they charged me to damage my vehicle then hold it hostage until I pay it so it could be towed to Rocket City Off Road to be repaired. As of today, September 14, 2024, Just as I expected NOTHING, NOT A WORD, GO FIGURE!
Original review: Firestone Complete Auto Care, I am VERY dissatisfied, I have been a happy customer since 2006. I have never felt so ripped off by a business as I felt when I concluded my transaction at the Firestone on Airport Rd Huntsville AL location. My check engine and stop/start service lights came on so I stopped at a parts center nearby and they checked my vehicle. The fault code indicated that I needed a tune up, plugs and coil wires changed, so I decided to use Firestone Complete Auto Care. I drove the vehicle to Firestone 1020 Airport Rd Huntsville Al. I explained to the manager the situation and he agreed I need a tune up plus a fuel line flush. So, I agreed to have firestone fix my vehicle and I left the business.
After a few days I had not heard from the business so I called to check on my vehicle, after being put on hold for over twenty minutes then disconnected, I decided to stop by the business. When I arrived, my vehicle was in the maintenance bay and it appeared they were fixing it. As I was talking to the manager another employee enters the lobby advising the vehicle should be fixed in a few hours so I left the business. The next day I received a call from an employee of firestone that my vehicle would not start and that firestone does NOT have the equipment to fix my vehicle and that the mechanics DO NOT know what is wrong, why it no longer starts. He continued stating I would have to have the vehicle towed to another service station or the dealership.
I called a wrecker company, who responded to Firestone to pick up the vehicle, when he arrived the manager and or employee refused to release the vehicle until I paid $786.00 for the REPAIRS. The wrecked driver called me, explained the situation, and left the business. I called Firestone and after a long conversation with the office employee the price was reduced to $486.94 for the so-called repairs, which I paid so they would release the vehicle to the wrecker company.
The vehicle towed to another service station in the Huntsville area. That service station repaired my vehicle in less than a day and called me when it was finished. The repairs had to be done because of the damage, neglect, and incompetence of the firestone mechanics. They had shorted out the vehicle’s battery, blown fuses, and damaged the can bus which cost me another $483.13 to have repaired plus a wrecker tow bill.
After driving the vehicle home, I looked under the hood and I’m not sure they replace all the spark plugs. A tune up kit for Jeep Wrangler JL comes with the plugs and Ignition Coils, mine are still dirty and several do NOT look like they have been touched. (Still covered in dust with no fingerprints.) They are definitely the original ignition coils so I know they have not been replaced. Also, multiple wires and secure ties were loose or completely disconnected. In closing, I received poor service, overcharged for repairs that may or may not have been done, and then I had to pay to fix the damages they caused by neglect and incompetence.

Firestone in Winter Park, FL is not trustworthy. Took my car in for an oil change & 60K mile maintenance. $1200 later my car was vibrating and pulling to the right and I had to go back to Firestone and they did more work. The next day leaving on a trip the car was shaking at 65 mph and we had to find the nearest Firestone which was 45 min away, they said my tire was separating and that Winter Park should have noticed this and replaced the tire. Plus Firestone did the same maintenance that was only done 14 months prior and nowhere near the mileage that would require the same services.

Simple oil leak repair..replace bad oil drain plug...After picking up car I did notice a MUCH worse oil leak..When returning to Firestone they put in dye to track oil leak and wanted me to return after a few days to review leak..When I did bring car back for 3rd visit they mentioned that oil pan was source of leak and they were not able to repair..BMW...I did take to a specialty repair shop and was told "Engine oil drain plug was over tightened, pan itself has a stop position when the plug is torqued correctly this stopping point has been surpassed/worn down allowing the plug to go in further and leak."
When I called this location and discussed with office staff GM did call me and denied his mechanics were not responsible and would not take any responsibility despite documentation verifying the timeline...$2700 repair replacing entire oil pan! Besides the additional damage caused by mechanics I felt as a 40 year loyal customer I was treated horrible and completely disrespected...My only recourse will be to pursue a refund through all means available and if legal recourse is required then so be it..Also DELETE MY ACCOUNT!

I took my truck to Firestone for a routine alignment. After leaving the truck, I got a call saying I needed additional work. I sorely agreed. Another call came a few hours later, they needed to replace a part wouldn't you know. The next day, they needed to order the part from Houston. After 6 days and $900 later we picked up the truck. I continued to ask about previous work done on my front end. All I can say is they do not stand behind their work. Some of the same work was done with a lifetime warranty and they attempted to charge us again. I had to produce our previous receipts to get it removed from the bill.
The labor (most expensive) is not guaranteed beyond 12 months. Again, they do not stand behind their work. So many disappointments over the years that I had to say something. The saddest of all is the customer service. After taking the truck back for a re-alignment the next day with an appointment, they had me wait 3 hrs. The truck was filthy with oily smut everywhere including steering wheel, door handles and floor mats. After the re-alignment was done the clerk said "here you go" and handed me the key. I'm done!

I brought my car to this place for A/C repair and was charged for an evac and recharge. I also had them replace my CV joints. They did not charge me for the stripping my tie rod ends, but did mess a couple other things up.
2) Forgot to place 5+ underbelly pan screws which fell down later on the highway.
No big deal right? I was able to get off the highway and reduce the risk of getting killed working on car and bought a bungee cord and got a couple paper clips from a convenience store in the middle of the night to get me by….for an hour drive home. Of course, after getting a little sleep before work calls again I run by hoping to get a few plugs placed on the pan until they can try and fix A/C for a second time. They wanted to place my car on a rack for 15+ minutes, which would make me late for work. Ok for me to get on the ground for a fix….not them.
So, I call corporate and ask for a refund on A/C work and lifetime alignment….since I don’t want to take my car back now. Lost my trust in them. Regional manager starts giving me a song and dance how belly pan screws/clips get worn from hitting parking curbs, bla bla bla. Thanks for the insult, no parking blocks in my driveway, stores I go to or work….Park at end of aisle to avoid door dings….Try another excuse Mr. manager. Also, asked the store not call me cause I don’t want to tell them how inept they are, plus I’m on-call all the time. What does the store do….Yuuuup….Called and woke me up after 3.5 hours of sleep. Thanks again. Sure wish I looked at the lousy reviews of this place!!!!

I took my classic 16-year-old Jaguar s type 4.2 to Firestone Complete Auto Care at 3804 Easton Nazareth Highway 18045 store #322455 for a complete flush and fill of my cooling system after installing a new radiator. I drove the car over on Saturday, August 31 for the service. Now I had called Friday to schedule the appointment for a fluid flush and fill and asked if they perform this service. I was told they did in fact perform this service.
I drove the car with mostly water in the cooling system over to Firestone as to not throw money away on the expensive coolant while testing the system after changing the radiator. My mistake was driving the car with mostly water as it boils at 212 degrees and the car runs at 190-210 st normal. This caused the water to boil by the time I got to the shop popping the hose off the expansion tank. The car didn't overheat but the water was boiling. I informed the service manager ** and the tech ** that the car had about two gallons of water in it and not to let the car get up to running temp before draining the system and refilling it with coolant as the water will boil.
** thanked me for letting him know and I was on my way. I came back two hours later to pick up the car and drove it to lunch ten minutes away with no issues. I then went about running errands with the AC on and five minutes later I had a low coolant warning in my instrument console. I immediately pulled over and saw the steam from under the hood. Sure enough, the hose on the expansion tank had come off and dumped coolant everywhere. Now I'm thinking my engine is destroyed if coolant was that hot. Had the car towed back to Firestone, I stopped in on my way home to let them know the car was on its way back.
I asked how the system flush went as I had just noticed on my invoice that the car they were servicing was the wrong car and they only used 6.8 quarts of coolant in my entire system when it uses 13 quarts. I was told the tech only topped off the coolant and bled the system of air which meant water was still in the system when I received it back! The service I paid for ($146) wasn't even the service I got as I found out at that time the vacuum system wasn't working!! I paid for a tech to gravity bleed my car when I could do that myself with similar results! I was paying for a vacuum fill to eliminate air pockets, that's what I wanted!
I had to call the shop to see if my car was delivered and was informed that they think my hoses were backwards? Water only flows the direction of the pump...and persist to point blame on the hoses even though the tech admitted to leaving water in the system. The car has been at Firestone for four days with no phone calls or anything to inform me of what was being done. I had to call by the end of the day Sunday to find out the tech wasn't there to work on my car when I stopped by earlier to get items from my car and found a tech had it in a service bay...I thought they were working on it but the service manager had said nothing was done.Monday I received no calls and found my car was sitting in the parking lot all day.
I had no idea what had or had not been done by this time and it was late in the afternoon so I went in and spoke to the service manager. He informed me that ** left at noon but had worked on the coolant flush again (manually again not vacuum) and test drove the car and had the same expansion tank hose come off. No other information was told to me other than I could call Tuesday to see what was done and get my car. I waited until 3 pm Tuesday and didn't receive any calls so I called the Firestone. ** answered and went to ask ** what was done with the black Jaguar. I could hear them both talking while I was on the other end of the line. ** said "Oh yeah, I test-drove the car yesterday and the hose came off again and I just parked it"...
And I was informed by the manager that the car was test-drove with having a hose issue. I asked why the car wasn't looked at since and if they could fix the hose and top off the coolant so I could pick up the car or leave it until I received the new expansion tank and hose to fix it in the parking lot. I was told "You could do whatever I want buddy"...I just didn't want you take a chance that if I drive it home since the issue was never resolved and damaged my engine. I'm at a loss from the multiple times I called customer service for a callback by the regional manager did anyone ever call me... I didn't get the level of service I paid for and my issues were never resolved. The shop never performed a pressure test on the system as they should have to try and find the problem. Even if they couldn't fix it they should have helped try to troubleshoot it and give me the customer direction and value for my money.

I went to Firestone on 8/25/24, for a power steering issue and fuel gauge that kept moving up/down and the engine light was on. I spoke with Steve and advised per their inspection, he informed me that I needed a fuel pump system, power steering work, tire repair and recharge my AC which totaled $4300. I called the next day on the 26 August, to see if the car was ready and they advised that they have to finish up the fuel pump work, so me, being generous gave them another 24 hours, thinking everything should be completed. Steve calls me on August 27 and advises me that everything is done. I go and pick my vehicle up and I noticed the engine light is still ON, and the gas gauge is still fluctuating up/down.
I go back into the shop, and this time a young lady told tell me to come back in the morning, well I couldn't because I needed to work. So today August 30, I take my vehicle back to Firestone so they can figure out why my engine light is not off and why the service I paid for did not fix the fuel gauge problem. Keep in mind I paid them $4300 of my money to FIX my issues. Just picked up my vehicle, and the excuse I got was that it is a BCM or basic computer module or gauge cluster but was initially told by Steve that if I do the pump system, that should fix all of that. So what the hell did I pay for. What was the inspection for? Is firestone telling me that they will keep $4300 of my money, and I need to ride around with the same problem I paid them to fix.
In addition, I work from home, so I keep gas in my vehicle and had to put at least $80, before I went to them, how in the world was I empty on gas, when I work from home and hardly drive my vehicle. This is stealing and it's ridiculous. Because I have new parts in my vehicle from them, I'll keep that, but give me my money for the labor that you guys did NOT fix my issues, and let me go to somewhere else that will FIX MY PROBLEMS and not ROB ME!!

I was skeptical. I took the car to 2 other national service centers and 1 local very reputable shop. All disagreed to the extent Firestone suggested, none of them thought any of the work was immediately necessary. Firestone's estimates were between 35% and 75% higher than any of the others. I keep the tires rotated and alignment up to date. The car drives well and there are no noises that would indicate imminent failures. They did fix the tire, I think they changed the oil although they failed to update the sticker and they DID NOT rotate the tires. Friendly people, but the quality across the board is lacking!

On July 27, I made the unfortunate decision to visit Firestone on 1st Street in Humble. I arrived around 1:20 PM for a simple oil change and brake check, and was told it would take two hours. I left my car, expecting the job to be done promptly. How wrong I was. By 4:20 PM, I hadn't heard anything, so I called to check on my car. After being left on hold for a staggering 25 minutes, I was finally told that nothing had been done. The oil change and brake check hadn't even started! They claimed they'd get someone on it immediately—a "guy standing around" was apparently their best option.
At 5:46 PM, I received a call saying I did need brake service, but assured me they could finish before their 7:00 PM closing time. I arrived a little before 7:00, prepared to pay, only to find my brakes still incomplete. I watched as various employees aimlessly wandered around, occasionally helping the lone mechanic on my car. This guy clearly had no idea what he was doing; he even hand-tightened one lug nut before using an impact wrench, a basic mistake that could've caused serious damage. Then, they lost a lug nut. When I confronted the assistant manager about the 2.5-hour delay and the missing part, he offered no apology—just excuses. They were short-handed, had long work weeks, and blamed "anyone" who might have misplaced the nut. Not a single "I'm sorry" was heard. He tried to reassure me by saying the mechanic was new but "very methodical." Methodical at being incompetent, perhaps.
As if that wasn't enough, when I finally got my car back at 8:20, it was filthy—grease prints all over the steering wheel cover. The real kicker? The brakes were barely functioning. The pedal sank to the floor, barely stopping the car. When I brought it back, the mechanic casually suggested I "pump the brakes a couple of times." The assistant manager had to pump them himself to get any response. And still, the brakes failed. Bleeding the breaks is a basic step in servicing brakes and my mechanic apparently had no clue.
The worst part? When I, the car's owner and the person paying for this mess, asked questions, the assistant manager had the gall to ignore me and address my friend that had provided me the ride and was waiting around to see if my care was going to be capable of making it home - just because he's assumed he was my husband and that he should talk to the man. When I told him to stop and talk to me, I had asked the question, it was my car and that I was paying for the repairs, the assistant manager actually said “He is the husband that is why I am explaining it to him”. It didn't matter that I have a background in mechanics and have managed a parts house; he just assumed the man should be spoken to, completely disregarding me the actual customer paying for this ordeal.
To recap: the service was abysmally slow, the customer service atrocious, and the mechanic dangerously incompetent. They were more concerned with closing up and going home than my safety and doing the job right. The assistant manager was not only disrespectful but blatantly sexist. If I hadn't insisted on a test drive, their negligence could've caused a serious accident. Firestone on 1st Street is a disgrace, and I will never set foot there again.

Message to the area manager – she hung up on me - Annie ** made excuses for the following. The most recent issue we had was with our Chevy Tahoe. We bought new tires and had them aligned on 07/23/2024 at the FW store purchasing a lifetime alignment. My wife waited for the alignment to be completed. Upon returning home I asked for the alignment report produced by the alignment machine for my records so I can see potential future issues. I keep the most recent report in the glove box.
My wife said they did not give her a hard copy, but indicated they would email her one. After not receiving the first email she returned to your store to give them my email address and asked Jorge to resend the attachments. The second email only had the invoice/receipt and recommended services so I called the store and talked to the manager, Jorge. I asked him to send the alignment report again and he agreed. Still no email with the report. It was close to closing time so we went to the store to pick up the printout. When we got to the store he admitted he had no mechanism to print the report physically or to PDF as he had done with the invoice and recommended services. His reasoning this time was that Firestone changed the alignment process where they don’t produce reports anymore.
I told him that policy is completely counter to the alignment industry. Every alignment machine that I have ever seen or used is equipped with the software and hardware to print reports. Without an alignment report customers cannot trust that the work has been done. Most people can’t validate that an alignment was done aside from steering corrections. In our case the alignment was only done because of new tires. In addition, being suspicious of no report prompted me to check my car for signs of a performed alignment. I did not see any evidence of an alignment, no tool marks at all. Dirt covered the entire area of where it could have been adjusted (tie rods were caked with dirt).

Looked up part number and discovered not only was I charged for two link pin kits (only one was needed), was charged $62 and change for $20.99 part! Firestone probably got a discount. In addition, was assessed $12 “shop supplies” fee! I questioned the 300% markup (I did the math) and $12 shop supplies. Was told corporate decides prices and fees. Stated doesn’t matter who makes the decisions, gouging is gouging and want the excessive charges refunded. Was told to contact corporate as store has no control over these items.
Long story short, I wrote to corporate. Store manager contacted me and agreed to refund excess charges. For the record, store employees are decent. Manager easy to deal with. They do good work. Corporate is the big problem. All they care about are profits. Customers are merely $ signs. My advice is buy tires and oil changes ONLY. Find a reputable neighborhood garage to service your vehicle.

They both appeared agitated with our request. Finally after a few grunts and groans they suggested we bring the van back Monday. It was 2:00 on Saturday. They resumed their conversation and I rolled my wheelchair back out to my van. What a joke to use "Complete Auto Care" on the sign.

My AC was not working and I work on weekends and I’m handicapped, Alfredo ** took care of my AC and they stayed way after closing hours just to help me out!! I have no words to thank Firestone team enough. When I went to pick up my car 6:45 on a Saturday evening. I was greeted with a kind smile from Joshua **! Nobody said anything about staying late or was upset. This professional team really deserves the utmost respect from all of us customers.
One thing I am sure of, was that my AC was repaired by the best hands and if ever they say that they can’t take our car is honestly because they are so very good that every single customer keeps coming back. 20 years ago I moved to Plano, TX. I was a recent immigrant who had just bought my first house in the US. My local Firestone was on Parker Road at Independence. The service was great and the guy asked if I would like a Firestone Card. I said, sure, give me one. I filled in the long form that included all kinds of personal details - but hey, they were nice people. I waited for the promised card to arrive. Instead, I received a boilerplate letter saying that my "application" had been rejected. I didn't know I'd been "applying." I was affronted and insulted - my time and trust had been squandered. I decided then and there to make sure no friend or acquaintance ever used Firestone Auto Care. This has been a 20 year journey of doing my best to eff them up. Now, 20 years later, I am glad to announce that the Firestone on Parker Road has finally closed down permanently. But my battle goes on. There are more of them to shut down. Please join me.

Today I went into the Firestone location in Conyers, GA after calling in advance, requesting a price for the unlimited alignments and letting the gentleman who answered the phone know that I would be in within a couple of hours. When I entered, the store was empty with the exception of a young man wearing a Firestone shirt who asked how he could help me. Before I could complete my response, he asked for my telephone number. I gave him my number and waited.
After a few seconds, he asked what I was there for and I let him know that I was trying to respond to his question, but he cut me off before I could finish. He proceeded to rudely ask me a series of other questions and asked him why he was being so aggressive? We exchanged a few words about his passive aggressive behavior and his response was to hand my keys back to me and walk out to the store into the bay. I asked to speak to the manager and he stated that he was the manager and that his name is "T." Based on my interaction with this young man, I will never do business with Firestone again as this is not my first negative interaction with this company.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a tire or mechanic shop, and maybe any business ever! Do not go here! The “manager“ Jason was one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with in a professional business. There was no accountability or responsibility. There was no way to rectify the situation and he literally denied doing anything wrong to the point of he just does not care what happens to your vehicle! I brought my wife’s Mercedes in to have four tires put on and left with the entire air suspension system, broken on my car and the car undrivable, grease all over the dashboard the wheels all put back on the wrong wheel and a broken car with all of the dials and dash system changed. It cost me $1100 for four tires and they broke the car to where it couldn’t even be driven, and then said they didn’t.
What kind of tire changing business even know how to lift a car properly that has air suspension and whether to turn it on or off? Now I am left with a car that cannot be driven and I have to take it to another mechanic to have it fixed for thousands of dollars of damage caused by Firestone, and they literally do not care. When I took it to the mechanic down the street from them to have it fixed, he said that that was usual and they fixed firestone's mistakes all the time and literally have had to replace entire motors and wheels and tires from the shoddy work. The people that worked on my wife’s car acted as though they had never changed the tire before and looked like they had not been to sleep in days. I will do everything I can to make sure the management and the employee of this establishment Do not do this to anyone else’s vehicle in the future.
I had no idea this is how they treated women that come in to get tires put on their car after they break their car. They just bully them into saying they didn’t do anything wrong and then you’re stuck with a broken car. My wife made the appointment and showed up on time early in the morning like they said with $1100 for four tires. They took an entire day to change four tires with no other customers, there left grease everywhere, ruined the car, broke the air suspension and didn’t even do the alignment. And then want us to come pick up the car and have it repaired somewhere else at our expense. This is the worst business ever. Firestone is literally living off of their name that they built from the boomer generation. But what firestone stand for now is a complete rip off and bad work. Take your tires and your car anywhere else in this town other than firestone.

Currently, I have a cracked radiator and somehow they wanted over $2300.. but I told them to only do the radiator and hoses and fluids and it is still $1600. I can't continue this. (1) Tires are on the "pro-rated" period of the warranty; they will pay only 1/3 of tire price.
(2) I must call the warranty people (answer the phone as "Firestone and Bridgestone Warranty Center; Firestone Tire Store will not deal with it.
(3) Firestone Tire Store says that warranty was sold by an "affiliate" - as if the store where I bought the tires did not say Firestone on the marquee, but was some weird knock-off. Who ever heard of a store labeled as "affiliate".
(4) Warranty number has not yet approved to pay anything (3 days), because I dont have a picture of the DOT number on the exploded tire - there was absolutely no side wall left of the blown out tire - it was completely exploded/obliterated - only a ring of the tread remains.
(5) Local firestone store doesn't know how the warranty people are suppose to handle the bill/$$; they want to know from me how this gets paid.

Ordered New Tires with an installation package to be completed by Firestone. The same day my tires arrived [05/04/2024] I brought my Truck for service. Firestone claimed they couldn't install my tires and loaded them on my truck and informed me to try their other location 28 miles away. Firestone service providers did not reach out to the location [Store #029165] on my behalf nor did they try to remedy this major inconvenience in any way.
After arriving at Store #029165, A service order was made and I was informed that the installation would be ready in the afternoon May 5th. I called to inquire about the progress of my installation due to the fact that rain was expected and my tires were on the back of the truck. I expressed my concerns about my tires being left out in the rain to the Acting Manager. I was told that my truck was in the bay being worked on. Around 6pm, May 5th, I received a call from the Acting Manager at Store #029165 exclaiming he mistook my truck for another and that my truck would be next in line to be serviced. MY TIRES WERE LEFT IN THE RAIN!
May 7th, I received a call about my truck being ready May 6th. Firestone informed me that they could not balance my tires nor do the alignment. Knowing that I had purchased the installation package I informed them that balancing was included even if the alignment could not be. Firestone service providers at Store #029165 stated that the machine could not balance tires that big. I have factory Ford 17inch rims [245/75/17]. I ended up having to drive away without getting them balanced or alignment because of this unreliable service. Big 10 performed both the blanace and alignment same day May 6th. It took 4 hours to complete! Big 10 had complications balancing my tires as well due to the fact that their was WATER in all of them!!!!
Big 10 had to dismount, clean, remount, and balance all my tires. I incurred an additional charge because of Firestone service providers incompetence. I called Firestone [Store #029165] about this issue. The Acting Manager said I don't see where a little water would effect the balance. Firestone mounted my tires knowing water was in them! That is what made balancing them impossible!! The Acting Store Manager said the Store Manager was on vacation and would not be back in store until May 13th. I filed a complaint same day May 6th with corporate! Regional Manager Kevin ** nor The Manager at Store #029165 have reached out to resolve thus issue. It's May 22nd, over two weeks without any correspondence behind my complaint!
I would not recommend using Firestone as an installer nor would I recommend them for alignment services! Firestone has no urgency behind addressing customers' concerns or issues in a timely matter. As stated it's been 16 days so far without a single correspondence from The local store Manager or Kevin ** the Regional Manager. Customers would fare better picking a service provider that's more knowledgeable and experienced at doing this type of business as well as picking a service provider that have better customers!!

DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE. Here is my most recent experience. I took my car to Firestone for brake work. I was charged $1008. I was told my brake pads, rotors and calipers needed replaced. Two days later my brake light came on. I was going back the following weekend for an oil change so I asked them why the brake lights were on. They said it was a fluke and they turned the light off. They said the brakes were fine. Within two days the brake light was back on. Two days later I was on the freeway driving 70 mph and guess who had no brakes. They let me leave their location knowing that I could kill myself and others.
Now I’m sure you’re thinking maybe they didn’t know or couldn’t tell. Let me explain why I know for a fact that they knew. I took the car to another location (the closest location I could get the car to with no brakes) just to find out that my brake pads and calipers had not been replaced at all and I had no brakes because no brake work had been done in my car. I received a call Thursday evening that the appointment I made two days ago wasn’t available because although the store opens at seven, they don’t start working till eight. Confused on what it is I agreed. When I got to the Firestone in Saint Ann Missouri. Approximately 15 minutes before my appointment, I wasn’t taking care of all the standing line until 10 minutes after my appointment my vehicle finally pulled in for an alignment, it took a whole five minutes complete. Confused because of knowing I just received an entire new front suspension.
I went out reluctantly to my vehicle, tried to drive away and couldn’t. The wheel were not straight enough for me to control as I slid one tire in and the other one and told GUY that it was unacceptable he had to redo it. He then told me something else was the issue, not the alignment. So I pulled next door, fixed (to his satisfaction) what he said was the issue in the parking lot next door, Returned and ask if he could fix the alignment. He then pulled it back in for a matter of about five minutes. "It was good," he said. "However, it was worse than before." I stopped about a block away on YouTube and did a alignment myself which was able to get me home then they called me that night and told me they wanted to tow my car in and take a look at it! I was confused because it was safe enough for me to drive away but not to drive back???
I want did I have to miss work on Friday but then they wanted me to miss more work so they can tow my vehicle without telling me when it would be done and he said he would look at it when he had a chance. So now my tires are ruined, it’s caused other damage to my vehicle and has cost me upwards of 750 dollars for the 120 dollar alignment I originally wanted. I will never go to that place again, they stole my money, gave me a crappy service and then tried to give me more crappy service and make me miss work to fix their mistakes.

I went to Firestone in Durham, NC on Duke St to get new brakes that were recommended by a Firestone in SC from whom I'd always received very good service. I was told my appointment would take an hour and a half. About that time later, they came out to tell me my car needed $4500 of repairs and the brakes hadn't even been started!!! I then had to have a tele-health appointment in the parking lot because the wheels were off, and I couldn't drive it home. Since it is an older car - 2002 Honda - and I have a hard time getting my car in for repairs due to disabilities I have and having to find rides back and forth if I leave my car somewhere, I acquiesced. My nurse that I had an appointment with later that day had to pick me up and drive me home. My car remained at the service center for 3 days. I finally got a ride to pick up my car and drove away thinking I should be in pretty good shape for a while.
The next day when I went grocery shopping and I was approaching my car from the passenger side, I noticed that the hood looked like it wasn't fully closed because the hood was higher than the side panel. I opened the hood and gave it a moderately hard drop to make sure it fully engaged - AND that's when I noticed a small dent in the side panel!!! Being that the dent went fully up to the edge of the hood, the hood must have been open when the dent was made. I immediately went to the service center and they tried to tell me they hadn't damaged my car and that it must've already been that way. I explained to them that I never service my own car and there'd be no reason I'd raise the hood and then drop something on the right side panel top edge where it meets the hood. I'm very dismayed that I had to discover this damage on my own and they didn't tell me they'd damaged my car when I picked it up.
Please note, there were/are NO OTHER dents on my car and I only have 2 very small rust spots on my car because I take VERY good care with it. I had just done a once over of the car to submit a condition report to Maaco because I was thinking of having it repainted and wanted an estimate - which came in at around $2500. They refused to give me their insurance information saying they didn't have access to it - and gave me no one to contact to get the situation resolved. The next day, I submitted a report to Firestone directly and was sent a response from claims resolution. I responded to that with all the information I had and pictures of the damage and was told I'd hear back in 3-5 business days. Two weeks have gone by and I've heard nothing!!! I'd give this center a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could, I will NEVER go back there - and all this when I had over $4000 of work on my vehicle.

***Tulsa Police Had To Be Called Today*** I had the worst experience of my life with a business today at Firestone in Tulsa the 4105 S Yale Ave location. I've been a regular customer with Firestone for over a decade, but that all ends today. I have referred many people to this exact location, but now I will warn them of the dangers in doing business with this company.
Over the past year or two the customer service has steadily and rapidly declined. Yesterday I scheduled an appointment for today at 12:00 noon to have them check my air conditioner, which was only blowing outside air temperature, instead of cool air. When I took the vehicle in today the employee working the front counter (employee 1) ask if the employee (employee 2) that had scheduled my appointment had explained the process of checking my air conditioner for leaks, which he had not. So, the employee (employee 2) working the front desk explained the process as follows, "We will put dye in the air conditioner and then fill the air conditioner with freon, you will then take your vehicle for a couple of weeks then come back so we can detect if and where the leak is."
He told me they would completely fill the air conditioner with freon, add the dye and my cost for the total service would be $115.00 or less, it would be less if my air conditioner required less than 48 oz of freon, and be charged by the ounce. If it required more than 48 oz of freon then they only charge for a maximum of 48 oz, but would still completely fill the air conditioner with freon, so the max cost for me today would be $115.00.
A little over two hours later employee number 2 called me and said that they have finished and that they had only put 24 oz of freon in my air conditional and there was no leak detected so it may be a problem with my coils, but that if I want I can just take it and see if the problem still exist. He then told me that they are charging me $115.00, but if I wanted them to fill my air conditioner with freon that would cost me over $200.00. I then explained what employee 2 had quoted me about my cost would be a maximum of $115.00 with a full air conditioner if my it required 48 oz or more of freon to fill, and it would be less if it required less than 48 oz (charged by the ounce).
I told employee 2, that I would only pay the price that I was told would be the maximum amount that I would be charged with my compressor full. He then began to argue and told me that he would not fill it unless I paid the larger amount, over $200.00 and that he was going to charge me $115.00. I said I will only pay the $115.00 if they completely fill my air conditioner as was agreed upon. I returned to the store and I told employee 1, still working the front counter, that I was not going to pay $115.00 for less freon than what I was quoted. Employee one then told me that if I leave without paying the $115.00 dollars for the lesser amount of freon then he would call the police on me for not paying. So, I had to call the police myself to prevent from being arrested.
The Tulsa Police arrived at the Firestone Store and threatened to arrest me if I did not pay. I explained the situation and it finally was resolved that Firestone would completely fill my air conditioner with freon for the $115.00 as was originally quoted to me. Employee number 2 was very angry and sarcastic while the police were still there. After the police left and my air conditioner was finally filled with the freon "I Hope" and I went to pick up my vehicle employee number 2 just put my key on the counter and did not say thank you, explain what they had done, or offer me a receipt or anything, he literally did not say a word!
The most disgusting thing about this whole situation is that it happened in the presence of my 9 year old nonverbal special needs daughter. Maybe the Firestone employees that I dealt with today were not happy that I had brought my special needs daughter into their store. I would expect much better behavior from employee number 1, which is a 38 year old military veteran. And I would also expect much better behavior from employee number 2, which he said he was in his twenties, and he seemed to be acting like a manager. This was a very traumatic experience!!! I hope my review, if it is not edited or deleted by Firestone will help prevent other people from experiencing such trauma at the hands of Firestone employees and possibly going to jail. Good luck to all!

My experience with Firestone Complete Auto Care was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I had my Mercedes SLK 250 towed to their facility for repairs, and the service I received was subpar. Initially, there was a lack of communication regarding the cost of replacing my dead battery, which ended up costing $668. Subsequently, there were delays and uncommunicated costs related to reprogramming my key fob, further prolonging the repair process.
Throughout this process, I interacted with several employees, including Jerry, Dennis **, and Albert. Jerry, in particular, informed me of a hit-and-run accident involving my vehicle while in their care. Despite assurances from Jerry that he would wait for me to arrive and file a police report, he was nowhere to be found when I arrived with an officer. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable.
I also experienced threatening behavior from Jerry when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the handling of this situation. His unprofessional conduct, coupled with the overall lack of communication and accountability from Firestone Complete Auto Care, left me feeling unsafe and deeply disappointed. Furthermore, after filing a formal complaint with their consumer affairs department, they refused to finish the work on my car. This added to the already frustrating experience and demonstrates their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. I have filed a formal complaint with their consumer affairs department and the incident has been reported to the Orlando police. I strongly advise others not to deal with this establishment.

I was going out of town and needed my brakes changed prior to leaving. I scheduled and appt online for 2pm that day. I arrived 1:50pm and asked how long it will take to have it completed and she stated to me that she wasn't sure but I was next. I sat down and another lady came in and gave her keys over. 10 min later I saw the tech get a set of keys and go outside but the vehicle he took was not mine. They brought my truck into the bay at 2:20. They did not take the first tire off until 3:10.
About 15min later the guy called me to the counter to tell me that he had some bad news that my rotors needed to be replaced because they digs into them. I was on the phone with my boy friend and he told me "NO" just brakes which I relayed to the gentleman just front pads. He tried to go over all these other recommendations and I said no thank you! I just had my oil changed a month ago and they changed the air filter so I can't imagine it needs to be replaced.
Long story short, my truck was finally done at 5pm. When I went to pay they did not explain to me what was done, or about the complete vehicle inspection findings. She told me the total of the bill and was was like that is for brake pads? She said that is for rotors and with fluid exchange. I told her that I did not want anything done other than the pads, that I explained that to the gentleman I just the pads. She then told me it must have been an misunderstanding.. When I asked to speak with him, he was already gone for the day. I am not sure how just pads turned into a whole front brake job.
Then when I went to get into my truck they parked it in a handicap spot on the side of the building. Then when I looked at the vehicle inspection sheet and they put I had a torn boot, and took to another place to have looked at they told me there was nothing wrong with the boot and was informed that Firestone was incorrect of their findings and must been trying to get even more money from me. Needless to say I will never be going back there or recommend to anyone for future services.

I've never serviced my vehicle at a Firestone until I started working at one. I was a Service Manager during my tenure. I never denied responsibility and maintained a commitment to our claim that we would "fix it right" if we did the work. Which makes this review even more disheartening and offensive, considering that I was once accountable for the customer experience at a Firestone location.
I would've never taken my car to a Firestone if it wasn't for my experience working there in a manger role. I would've never imagined that I would end up a rejected customer, who paid to have work done, who trusted the company, who returned with a service related problem within the warranty coverage period, who had a 20 yr ASE Certified Mechanic that works at Metro get under my car and thoroughly investigate the problem, report the problem and direct me back to where I got the work done initially! Only for Firestone to refuse to correct the problem. I spent over $700 that day! See the invoice!
I had to call my old District Manager, who directed me to the new District Manager who then sent me to the Corporate Claims Department! I had to reach out and follow up myself after my car had been sitting at the location for a week, only to be told they didn't properly submit my claim. Then once they properly submitted my claim, I had to also call the claims person and leave a message for them to contact me!
When I did speak with the claims representative, they questioned my former employment with the company as If I somehow got some underhanded work done while I was the Service Manager! I had resigned from Firestone months before this work was done so that relationship was irrelevant. Secondly, they questioned me about an accident that also happened before I came to get the work done the first time, as if the accident caused the problem. I felt insulted and my character questioned over a few hundred dollars worth of work that was supposed to be "under warranty"! They denied my claim and suggested the problem was unrelated! I'll never trust this company with my vehicle again! I won't even take my car back to get my alignment and I have a lifetime alignment service! Bad business ethics! Bad business!

I recently had work completed on my Subaru 2006 outback totaling $2,339 At the Firestone on concord pike in Wilmington De. I had the Half shaft, steering and suspension, power steering replaced and "fixed". I would like to send over the invoice and talk to a representative. I got the car back and it was heavily leaking oil, smoking and still making the clunking noises; it was having worse problems than when I dropped it off. The mechanics told me it was the timing belt cover that was leaking and I need to take it to a Subaru dealership. I took it to the Subaru dealership. I had them do a vehicle inspection and they stated that it was not the timing belt cover but the oil sending units that sit on top of the engine; which he didn't know how the Firestone mechanics could miss that. On top of that the mechanics at Firestone left the tie rods loose and the power steering pump they installed and charged me for did not function.
After 2 months of me calling them and their representatives lying about anyone ever calling me back. I finally got information about a refund and was told it was going to refunded for the full amount. So I was like ok great, didn’t get my hopes up because it’s been all lies so far. Every time I called their representative would say they “emailed the case agent." I would wait and then nothing. I emailed, called and left messages, not once did anyone call me back. After I emailed the agent for my refund information, it was not for the full amount and it wasn’t ever for the original amount offered, it was significantly less. Then the case agent says the measly $500 they offered was “in good faith”. DON’T LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR.

They cannot do basics like sending emails to the correct email address, don't know how to talk to customers and don't have any regard for the customer's time that they iressponsibly waste. Firestone in Warner Robins GA did take a look at my brakes for free but they ended up charging me $42 without telling me that what they ended up doing was going to cost. All they did was ask me if I would like for them to just blow air into the brake area to clean it out, but did not bother to tell me that it would cost just for them to do that. They should not have charged me just to blow air into my brakes, the least they could have done is not just ask but tell me that it was going to cost or just not have charged me anything.

They proceeded to do a complete vehicle inspection, for which I was charged, even though I did not ask for it. They came up with a long list of work they say needed to be done. I refused to have them do anything and I brought the car to my own mechanic. My mechanic found that much of the work Firestone wanted to do was unnecessary (no need to replace the battery, no need for an oil change). The bottom line is that I paid my mechanic $600. Including the unnecessary work, Firestone would have charged me $1300. I am never going back to Firestone.

Told the mechanic that he could just mount those tires for me and finish the inspection. Woman mechanic comes in from the bay and jumps into our conversation, asking if the tires are brand new?
I said mostly yes, one tire had been on the truck after I had a flat and had to drive for around one hundred miles on it before getting the other one fixed and that the other tire in the back had never been used. She said that they could sell me new tires or else I couldn't finish my inspection as they can't mount used tires as it is against company policy. She was extremely rude for no reason. I checked the brake fluid myself and there was no brake fluid in it at all and there was obvious brake fluid leak on the inside of the right rear wheel from the brake cylinder. This could not have been inspected as they said, and they obviously did not check the fluid level or the caliper and cylinders. I took it somewhere else, and the whole right rear cylinder was blown. I had service done on 12/09/2023 to have removal of and replacement of brake shoes and rotors. I not only had to wait for another set of rotors but the ones they placed on my Cadillac were the same ones placed on there from the second purchase. They lied. I had to use both of my children's credit cards to pay for the $1105.18 parts labor shop supplies and tax.
After driving it away I had to bring my car back because it would shake as I would come to a stop. That is when the Service Advisor Nicholas stated that I need calibers placed on my car because it was sticking to my brakes which was another $700 which I did not have. I was separated from my husband and just relocated to Charlotte without spousal support. It is difficult to have emergency funds for car expenses. Not feeling sorry for myself but of course my husband said he couldn't help me because he just paid $1000 to repair the garage door at our home in Fayetteville, so much for that.
However, I know my car and Randy from the Cadillac Dealership never said anything about the need for calibers on my car just brakes and rotors turned. The reason I got rotors replaced was because this site did not have the machine to have rotors turned. Well needless to say after 2,000 miles I still had problems with shaking in stopping and coming off cruise control in which it never happened prior to this repair. So after my doctor's appointment I went to the Firestone on Albemarle which is the one I went to the first time I arrived in Charlotte. Gary and the gang found out I had warped rotors and the other shop never replaced the ones they were supposed to have done in the first place.
After the mechanic drove it, he came back and felt the same thing I felt and asked me did I see them change the rotors and I said no I took them at their word. I noticed the rust on my brakes and that made me concerned just after a few months. They placed cheap brakes and rotors on my Cadillac and I want my credit cards to be paid in full for this service I did not get from the Firestone on University Blvd. I have been a Firestone Customer for over 10 years in Fayetteville, NC and a Military Spouse to the one on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville. They know us by name and Jeff knows us personally especially our kids. I am furious that Nicholas would put such cheap parts on my Cadillac as a woman driving and stopping in Charlotte. On 4/14/22 I and my spouse visited the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Modesto, CA. around 12:11pm to 4:33pm by appointment, and our vehicle was done around 5pm that day. We had experienced this rattling sound in our vehicle in the front, Like a tire rod or such. So we brought it in. When we left we still heard the same rattling sound like our front end with our tires was still coming loose and felt weird. They said a bolt connected to our tires was loose and our steering rod. So they apparently fixed it? It was actually worse than when we first went in. So we made an appointment to go into another firestone, but it was a mom and pop sister shop, they didn't do anything and said our car and tires were fine. We left.
We then were redirected by Firestone their self, to go all the way to San Francisco CA to the firestone there, when getting there, they told us they didn't service vehicles like that. So we not only wasted gas and a trip but the customer service rep that sent us to that location was off. We then made an appointment on 4/30/22 at 9:09 am at the Fresno Ca location. We had them look at the vehicle and tires and such. At first really decent service, they said the Modesto Firestone location didn't even put our bolts back on our car to the tire rod and struts and he fixed it, and he replaced a tire because the other auto place didn't do a wheel alignment we had paid for and it was eating our tires.
When leaving this firestone location in Fresno CA at 5pm we were driving to grab a bite before leaving back to los banos CA which was a good distance like an hour away or more. Our 13 yr old daughter was with us, she kept hearing this sound outside her window, so after 15 mins of leaving the Firestone store in Fresno CA, we noticed that when they switched out our tire in the passenger back, they had gotten a huge bolt like nail that was huge stabbed up in the tire. So we went back and they literally had 5 mins left till closing, the guy refused to fix the tire we just bought from them. He told us they were closing in 5 mins and we should be good come back tomorrow, my husband explained we didn't live local. He told us we would be fine.
So upon leaving and hitting the freeway to go back to our home, the tire popped causing us to swerve out of traffic almost hitting other cars. We winded up hitting the side banks of dirt and rock and almost wrecked. We called them back only to hear a voicemail and began to reach out to corporate firestone who never answers. We finally got a hold of someone who called us back from the customer support line, and the lady said because it was a friday the manager wouldn't be available. She could only leave an email. We winded up having to pay out of our pockets for a hotel stay in fresno CA due to this life threatening inconvenience. And when the manager Rick responded back, trying to apologize for not getting back to us sooner, we told him we wanted our money back and a refund for the hotel.
Now this manager was not smart, he literally took 3 weeks to send a check with my husband's name spelled wrong, then he was like, "Ok, I can direct deposit or zelle you." It never happened. We waited over a month for another check and finally got our money back for the hotel stay. But we didn't get reimbursed for the issues that put our family at risk that day not to mention the other modesto CA location who forgot to put the bolts back on our car. We have emailed, complained and have 2 consumer affair complaints and numbers that apparently no one gives 2 cents about. We have repeatedly asked for our credit card with Firestone to be reimbursed because they never fixed the problem and if anything, made it worse and damaged our car. They also put our life and our child's life at risk.

Despite my expectations for professional and reliable service, because you are a complete Auto Care Facility, I am disappointed with the services I received. My car was towed in because of a problem with the ABS signal and low break fluid I believed this issue would be resolved efficiently and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the time I left the car in your shop was too long and the bill was high. The delay in servicing the car caused me inconvenience and resulted in additional costs, and loss of time. During this time, I called often to check on the progress of the repairs. I think they may have a staffing problem since I was kept on hold for long each time I called.
Moreover, the level of customer service was below what one would expect from a reputed service center. There was a lack of clear communication. The initial estimate was $1000, but I paid $1907. The bill was unclear, and I might not have received a bill if I had not asked for one after payment. The car was not ready, the day, I went to pick it up. The waiting area with coffee was not clean and the coffee machine did not work. My recent experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. I replaced the parts myself for $40, they were going to charge $312 to replace them and come to find out those parts weren’t even bad but I already bought them and just put them on. In the 6 months I got 6 alignments and the car drove worse and worse with each alignment until I couldn’t drive it in the rain because it was so squirly, my tires in that 6 months and 6 alignments are now bald and my rear tires are like new!
On my 6th alignment, they mentioned that it could be my rack and pinion going bad and it would be over $1500. I got a second opinion from Holinsworth and had them do a full inspection and determined the only thing wrong with my car is the alignment! $100 later and my Kia hasn’t driven this good since new! This ordeal cost me over $500 to recover from and endangered my life and prevented me from going to work when it rained.
When I confronted the salesman at the desk he said there were new workers there and need more training and the alignment racks were malfunctioning and he’d have the manager call me, he never did so I called the customer service and made a complaint and she said someone will call in a week so I called again and talked to someone and they said there is no record of my complaint and would call me back in a week and they never did. So I called one last time and got the same runaround, this corporate company doesn’t care about its customers or their safety and is a well-played scam. As a younger female, I always dread taking my car in anywhere because I am constantly taken advantage of. I was really hoping Firestone would be different, but if anything it has been the worst places I’ve been to. This establishment is so unprofessional to the point I don’t even know how they’re in business. The first time I brought my car in (less than a month ago) was to have a tire replaced.
When I came back to pick my car up, they had replaced the wrong tire. How does this even happen? I had clarified several times which tire needed to be fixed & have zero idea how they managed to screw that up. & of course, I didn’t notice until I got home so I had to drive all the way back, over 30 minutes. Not only did this waste my gas & time, but also my boyfriend's since he was the one helping me drop off & pick up, commuting me when I was without a vehicle. Then, I took my car in to get my AC fixed. I was told the entire system had to be replaced, costing nearly $2000.
To add, I am not only a college student, but I’m also working full-time with children. Money is already tight so for it to be wasted this way is absolutely unacceptable. But regardless, I told them to go ahead. They finally called me & said I could come pick up. So I go, pay, & take my car. At first, I was sure it was blowing cold air. But after about 10 minutes into my drive back, I realized it wasn’t. It wasn’t hot, but it was nowhere near cold. I eventually just rolled my window down to get cold air. So again, I had to drive back, wasting gas & time yet again. Absolutely ridiculous. I would never in a million years recommend this business. The worst part is not a single employee has even remotely tried to apologize for the countless inconveniences they’ve caused. I feel beyond frustrated & taken advantage of. $2000 for absolutely nothing. Takeaway advice: GO ELSEWHERE. Please, don’t waste your time & money.

Went to pick up my car while they ordered parts and got a phone call when I was almost there stating it was also my rack and pinion. Now the price to fix would be about 3k. Picked up my car while they were ordering parts and noticed the information about my car on the receipt was not correct. The vin was wrong, the mileage was off by 20k, and the license plate said temp.
When I was at the store I asked the guy what would happen if I drove with these issues and he told me I would start leaking powering steering fluid and that's when I realized things were a bit off. The symptoms he told me about were not present for the diagnoses we received. Struts yes but not rack and pinion. Also I felt like I was putting my trust in someone who didn't know cars because my car doesn't take power steering fluid as it's electric steering. Needless to say, took my car to someone else without telling them the experience I had and what do you know struts need replaced and tie rod ends. NOT THE RACK AND PINION!!!! Don't go here. They will try to charge you for things that are not wrong. My estimate of 3k went down to 1100. That's a bog change. Listen to your car and do the research. Things didn't add up from the jump. Two days later, I apparently drove into a manhole cover or something, but the front driver-side tire was torn and irreparably damaged. I returned the car to Firestone for a replacement, only to discover at that time, that Firestone had not done as I asked when it installed two new tires in the rear rather than the front. I was forced to buy a new tire.
Now I am driving around with three brand new tires, and one partially used tire. It is impossible to know, but had they installed the new tire on the front where I requested, the new tire may not have been torn by the manhole cover. Regardless, they did not have my authorization to install two new tires in the rear. I specifically requested two new tires in the front. Now they are hoping I will return and have additional work done, which their evaluation indicated. This will not happen. I feel defrauded and cheated by Firestone. They did not follow my specific instructions, and never informed me. I drove around for two days thinking I had two new tires in the front. A company that cannot follow customer instructions will never get my business again,

Went to Firestone in Roanoke, VA for an alignment. A few days later driving my truck and boat trailer to lake and went to turn a curve and truck wouldn't steer, wrecked truck and boat causing $4k damage and had to replace boat trailing, quarter panel on truck. Took to another auto shop, they found a mangled, melted magnetic light that had lodged in gear box. On the bumpy roads to lake, it jossled this light that Firestone had left IN MY TRUCK by steering box, which was the cause of the accident. We have the melted light and it was identified as being so and so's light from that shop! But told there was nothing they would do. Since then, the residual effects have been steering column has to be replaced and the damage from the accident and how it affected gear box ruined transmission. So now I am $5300 in the hole.
Looking at so many complaints about Firestone, how are they allowed to not respond on BBB nor be held accountable for many customer losses reported? We reached out to Firestone/Bridgestone Corporate, no response. Local Firestone, no help. I guess if I would've died, my family could've sued, but because I'm a good driver, no death. Firestone/Bridgestone be better! I am a 83 yr old man without many years left and I live to fish and drive my truck, 9 months later, still do not have a running truck. The long and short is they should've acknowledged fault and at least fixed the transmission/gear box of truck.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star if it offered "none". I will never take any of my vehicles to Firestone again. Two months ago my car started acting a bit funny, then a warning showed up that said, "Stabilitrack Needs Attention". So, I brought it to my local Firestone (which I've been using for years now). With a whole new staff, I entrusted them again, foolishly. Dropped my vehicle off at 8:45am. Was told they'd run a diagnostic test and let me know what was going on. Heard nothing for 3 hours, so I called. "We're not sure yet" was their response. Around 2:30pm, I got a call. They informed me of "the problem".
I needed both of my solenoids replaced and would need another oil change, even though I got one about 2 months ago. They told me at that time that "everything will be in running order" after I get these things done. 4:30pm, got a call that my car was finished and ready for pickup. Got a ride there, went in and beside pushing me (for the 2nd time today) to open a credit care with them, they allowed me to pay without even a hint that they did NOT, in fact, fix what I brought the car in for to begin with. Sure did charge me $700 for something that had nothing to do with it!!
After paying, I got into my car, started her up and the warning was still there. Turned off the car, went back inside and was waiting to talk to the guy who I paid when another guy called me by name. When I told him that the warning light was still on, he literally told me that they don't do that. I need to go to a dealership for that problem. NOT ONCE WAS THAT BROUGHT UP ALL DAY TODAY!! Seriously, I do not recommend liars and thieves! What a waste of money and my day!! Firestone, do better.

I brought in a Tahoe, that needed a new alternator, and was sold one for $699. It turned out to be refurbished, and from their partner company Carquest, and marked up around 200pct. When I asked about it, they said it was because of labor. But the bill charged for labor separately and on top of that. So then they came back and said mark ups are what they are, and it is how they really make their money and stay in business. I said it seems kind of surreptitious, or egregious, or usurious. They said it is what it is.

Firestone Complete Auto located in Lorain Ohio installed spark plugs in a 2010 Audi a4. First, they were told spark plugs was just did less than a year ago and they still insisted that the spark plugs was needed not a maintenance issue. Next, the spark plugs installed were not the correct spark plugs for an Audi A4. Not only that they were not even torqued or tightened down. As a result, car wouldn't start after work was complete. Engine light came on. Shop continue to turn the light out.
After filing a claim with the corporate office. It was denied because they said the engine light came on due to an oil consumption issue. The car was brought in without an engine light on. There was no engine issues with this vehicle until they change spark plugs. 6 months later the engine is completely ruined. If you have a foreign vehicle please stay away from Firestone. They do not have the proper equipment to program foreign cars and particular Audis do not like aftermarket parts.

Firestone has serviced my cars for years. I have recommended Firestone multiple times. I can no longer recommend them. I took my car in for routine service on 12/28. Firestone no longer provides a detailed paper report in the store. They email a partial report to you. When I left the store my tpms light came on. I turned it off and continued to drive. The warning light repeatedly came back on. I drove back to the store and was told that they deliberately overinflated the tires this time of year. Supposedly the tech drove my car and the light stayed off. Nope. I finally had to let some air out to get to the proper inflation.
When I got home I printed out the service report. I specifically asked to have the wiper blades replaced. The report showed two blades were replaced, but not the blade on the rear window. The report showed that the washer fluid was “checked and approved”. This does not mean it was filled. I checked and filled it myself. Several additional items were not brought to my attention. When the car was serviced in July 2023 there were 5 items marked on the written report for suggested maintenance—including the rear wiper blade, the air filter, and the cabin filter. None of these issues were addressed on 12/28.
When I went back to the store today I was told that I specifically needed to ask to have the rear wiper blade replaced. (Because usually people only want the front wipers replaced!) I asked why it was suggested in July that the air filter and cabin filter needed to be replaced but 6 mos later they were okay. I was given the answer that some techs are more aggressive in their comments! I asked whether the washer fluid was filled and was told “he was supposed to”! I knew that was a lie because I had to fill it myself. Do not use this Firestone location. I also requested a call back. Someone is supposed to call back within 2 business days. It has been 5 days and no call back.

Consider this your WARNING!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE EVER!! I went in to get an oil change September 27, 2023, at Firestone on Stateline Rd. in Southaven, MS. First disappointment is they ripped me off charging me almost $80 for an oil change on a 2001 Camry. I waited until the end of the transaction to tell him I had a coupon only to be lied to and he told me he already added the coupon. I asked him, "How can you add a coupon before you even knew I had a coupon?" That really made me upset. I went ahead and paid. They are Scamming and RIPPING people off.
I only drove my car 3 times after the oil change. On October 4th, I came home in the car and left back out hours later to pick my son up only to notice a huge spot in my driveway. I dabbed it with a napkin to see if I could tell what it was. I automatically thought to check my oil. I checked my oil three times, and there was no oil on the dipstick at all when I pulled it back out. I immediately called corporate. They gave me the runaround for three months and would not repair my car.
On November 3, they sent an inspector out from Nationwide Insurance (supposedly) and he took pictures and told me that he sees these cases all the time. He stated Firestone had over-tightened the bolt on the oil pan and broke it and that caused all of the oil to run out of my car. He told me they should contact me in about 3 days. Well, I never heard from anyone.
Finally, December 31st I called corporate again to try to get this resolved because I did not want to try to go to court over this, I just wanted them to fix my vehicle. The young lady said they had closed my case. I told her no one ever contacted me, and I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was so nice, respectful, and helpful. I got a call from the Firestone on Union on January 2nd that they would be sending a tow truck for my vehicle. (Review for Firestone on Union coming shortly). Needless to say, Finally, on January 4th I picked my vehicle up and NOW I have a whole other problem with my car. :-(
BEWARE: If you love your car, and cars are so expensive to maintain now, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE! STOP GOING TO FIRESTONE! They do not care about people or their families, and they do not care about people's cars!
WARNING 2 of 2! On January 2, 2024, my car finally got towed to the Firestone on Madison. The Firestone in Southaven almost destroyed my vehicle and probably would have if I did not use the common sense God gave me to stop driving the vehicle after I realized there was no oil in it after I paid for an almost $80 oil change. I got my car there and I was told they would do a full vehicle inspection on my car. They Lied! I was called and told my tires dry rotted on the side and they would give them to me for a discount price under my warranty.
I asked, "When I get there can I see the tires for myself?" Mike said yes. He Lied! He got my car confused with someone else and then told me "Oh, all the tires are piled up out back." He should have set my tires to the side until I got there. He is not a man of his word. The tires they put on my car were really old new tires. Let me explain. I told the man, I guess Addison, that these were not new tires on my car, and he came out to look at them with me. And he argued with me up and down that they were new tires.
He said that "they were dated for the 16th week of 2023 so they are brand new." "Well, the 16 week in 2023 was April 23rd and that makes these old, brand-new tires that I am getting in January 2024. You're telling me I need new tires on my car and then selling me the oldest ones in the warehouse, making me think I am getting new tires when I am not, so you all can rid your warehouse of old tires is not cool." They are tricking all of these customers into buying new tires when we don't really need them.
A young lady just told me they were trying to do that to her a month prior and her mom called them and said she don't need new tires. I wish I would have gone down there to investigate the tires on my car when he called and told me that lie because from my recollection those tires were fairly new. They are in the business of tricking, scamming, overcharging, ripping people off and destroying people's cars and lives. After driving my car for less than an hour after the repair of the oil pan from damage from the Southaven location and con into buying new tires that I didn't need, my car started putting really bad as if it was going to cut off.
I was so scared because I had my son with me and I did not want to get stranded. I stopped in a parking lot and called Mike (the manager) and told him what was happening. His reply was "Oh yeah, after we got the car it was already sounding funny." I told him, "My car was not doing that before I brought it to you. Mind you, they said they would do a full vehicle inspection and if my car was making this noise, putting loud, why didn't you tell me when you called me about the tires and offer to fix/repair whatever the problem was? Liar! He told me about my car needing control arms, sway bars, stabilizers, another $1,038 worth of work, but you did not mention my car stalling, putting, not running right when you called me?" That's because they did not do a full vehicle inspection. My car did sit for 3 months because they refused to fix the oil leak problem that THEY caused.
I am so done with Firestone. So many people I know talk so bad about Firestone dating all the way back in the 80s, 90s with issues they have had with Firestone. I always told people that I never had an issue with Firestone. I have been taking my Camrys to Firestone for over 18 years and never had these types of issues, distrust, tearing up my vehicles, lying to me, ripping me off, telling people they need work or items that they do not need, mainly almost destroying my vehicle. This is so sad. I will NEVER take my vehicle back to Firestone. I'm scared to take it back to get the tires rotated on the warranty. PLEASE, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT SUPPORT US AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS OR OUR VEHICLES!! Consider yourself warned.

We take my son's car to the Firestone auto shop for some maintenance and a minor repair costing us 1400.00. When we got it back, we immediately had to take it to BMW dealer and have 10000.00 work of damage repaired. After David (Mgr of the Camp Pendleton store) confirmed fault by the incompetence of his technician causing this damage, Gary **, some corporate suit decides to jack around for months in resolving this case and blames all the issues on wear and tear which according the BMW dealer is not only a cop out by Gary ** but a flat out lie.
We had the vehicle inspected by BMW and their findings are 90% of damage to my son's car is due to the technician stripping (cross threading) one bolt in the primary cooling system of the car causing a cascade of failures. Again, confirmed by David and his technician at Camp Pendleton Firestone and BMW whom was good enough to send me picture and video proof of their findings.
Gary ** is not only the most horrible communicator (and by that I mean non-existent communicator but completely unprofessional in every way). Not only will he lie to you, he makes promises and doesn't follow through. Gary ** goes out of his way to make sure you are inconvenienced as much as humanly possible by making sure payment for repairs (at a third of what he should have paid) doesn't reach the shop where repairs are being.
I have called, texted and emailed. ZERO response except to ask me to stop texting him. What nerve!!!! How about just tell me when I can expect payment you promised? Maybe call the shop where the check is being sent and let them know do they can release the car to my Marine son who has had to miss his Marine Corp Ball because of Gary **, has been made to pay 1000s of dollars more in expenses for Uber, Lyft and various other modes of transportation because of Gary ** refusal to follow through not to mention the three 400 plus tow charges we have incurred in addition to the damages caused by the company.
Gary ** is the sole reason I will NEVER purchase anything from Firestone again, nor will any of my family or friends. Both my sons are Marines that are stationed at Camp Pendleton. You might not feel a big sting but you will definitely feel it when you lose 100s of customers because of Gary ** lack of service, lack of communication and straight cowardice.
Gary ** made a written agreement, I have copies of, that his company would pay roughly 3400.00 of the nearly 10000.00 in damages caused by them. This was weeks ago. We are still waiting on payment. The vehicle went in the shop at Firestone on or about the 28th of July and has been at BMW for the better part of 2 months waiting on the check promised by Gary **.
BMW management said they have never seen this level of unprofessionalism (I have the emails backing it up) demonstrated by Gary **. Even towards them at BMW. BMW went above and beyond, absorbed 1000s in parts and labor due to the circumstances of this case and the utter disregard from firestone (especially Gary **) and the rest of Firestone Corporate offices.
These are not in any way shape or form insults directed towards any one man. They are statements of FACT that can be backed up by emails, text messages and records I have in hand from Firestone. Not one bit of this is exaggerated, fabricated or in any way embellished. Every word should be published to warn others from getting their vehicles serviced here.

The guy said he “blew into it” to clean it, put it back on my truck, turned the check engine light off. He told me he didn’t charge me for that service to save me money. (I didn’t know blowing into an auto part was a service.) I was given a laundry list of items that would need to be repaired if the check engine light came on again. 2 hrs later the light came on and an appointment was made for the next day. I dropped my truck off (11/2/23) only to get a call two hours later saying the repairs ($530) were done. I got in the truck and the check engine light is STILL ON. The tech attached a device and pressed the buttons four times before the light went off. (He was busy talking on his cellphone.)
I drove ten minutes to my house and the light was on AGAIN! I called the store only to be told, “You need to fill your gas tank and drive it for a while. The light should go off.”…It didn’t! I took my truck to TWO auto care centers to get the free diagnostic test and both indicated the EGR valve needed to be replaced!! Yes, the same part Firestone “blew” into to clean on 11/1/23. I’m extremely mad because I just spent money on unnecessary repairs that had NOTHING to do with the EGR VALVE!!! I went to the store on 11/6/23 to let them know the check engine light is STILL ON, expressed my disappointment with their services, and showed them the test results stating the error code indicated the EGR valve needed to be replaced. The guy stated he didn’t have any openings today which further angered me because it was 7am and two people in the waiting area.
I told him I didn’t trust them and that I feel like I’ve paid $700 for unnecessary repairs. He then tried to discredit the reports and refused to admit that I was right! If Firestone’s diagnostic test on 11/1/23 didn’t indicate the same error code then how did they magically know to take that part off and “blow” in it? I’ve filed complaints with their Area Manager and Consumer Support department in Nashville, TN. I spoke to the Service Manager to express my concerns, complaints and requested a full reimbursement for the expenditures on the unnecessary repairs. I have a meeting with Service Manager and the Store Manager on 11/7/23 to try to “rectify” the situation. I don’t trust them and feel like they saw a 5’2 woman and dollar signs. On 9/3/23, I took my vehicle to Firestone in Orlando Florida on W. Colonial Dr. for a scheduled alignment and added a tire rotation service. After completion of the service, I was summoned by the service manager Adriana to come outside where my vehicle was parked in front of the business entrance. I proceeded to exit the building and met her on the driver's side of my vehicle where she then acknowledged that her service mechanic had broken the outside driver's door handle. She further stated that I could gain entrance by letting the window down on that side to get inside my vehicle. (?) Moving forward stating that she would get with her store manager (Eric) the following day and order the replacement door handle which should take about 2-3 days.
I replied to her that I would need a rental car until this happens, she replied, "By the time a rental vehicle is approved the part would have arrived." Futhermore, Without being given any paperwork for the initial service nor documentation of such damage, I took her word and left with my vehicle. The following day would be Labor Day (Monday), I didn't receive a call from the manager (Eric) of that location. I waited the three days still no reply from them. After experiencing such as hassle and inconvenience of accessing entrance (ie. rain, heat and having to gain entrance by opening the rear door reaching over the driver's seat to push open the driver's door and catching it before it closes) into my vehicle, I decided to rent a usable vehicle to conduct my daily business.
Now it's been ten days at this point, I received a voicemail on 9/13 & 9/14 for which I wasn't aware of, headed down to Firestone on the 9/15 and was told by Eric (Store Manager) that the part has been there since the 13th of Sept. He further stated that it could be installed by one of his mechanic at a later time that same day, because I didn't have an appointment; I agreed and hung around outside without their knowledge. WhiIe parked across the bay area of the building I acknowledge the mechanic (Manny) viewing the two door handles (New One & Original one on my Vehicle).
I decided to walk over to the bay and see what was going on; acknowledging that I am the owner of the vehicle that he's working on, he said to me and I quote, "This is the wrong door handle" and that he needed to inform his manager, ad he walked towards the front area of the store. I proceeded to return to my rented vehicle parked in front of the local postal office directly in front of Firestone work bay.
Minutes later Manny returns with the store manager (Eric). They then thimble around trying to determine what to do, then another ** mechanic joins them, they fiddle around for a second then both walks away leaving Manny there to install the wrong door handle. After installing the door handle Manny drives my car around to the front of the store, I then proceed to drove my rented vehicle around and park and go inside the store, as I entered Eric acknowledged and said, and I quote, "I was just about to call you and close you out, your vehicle is ready". I replied, "Eric, that's the wrong door handle." He then stated, "Let me get Infiniti dealer on the phone" for which he did and ordered what was supposed to be the corrected door handle, informing me that it would arrive in three days and that I could at least have access into my vehicle.
Upon opening my door it would stick, I then went inside and inform Eric of this. He came outside and tried for himself and as he did the key entrance portion fell out and he said, "I'm glad it did while I was here." He proceed to keep the fallen part to use once the new handle arrives. I had my friend drive my car to Enterprise to return the rented vehicle. This all occurred on the 15th of September, the new replacement door handle didn't arrive until 10/3/23. Now it's been a month since the incident and replacement.
I then ask Eric & Adriana if they were going to cover the rental cost for the time I was inconvenient, she stated that she would get with Eric, after taking a copy of my rental agreement. I didn't hear back from her after four days, so I went to the store on the 5th day and Eric and her were both there. I asked her what was his reply and she looked with horror in her face and shook her head no. Eric intervene and said, "No I'm not covering it." I asked him why and he said, "I'm just not covering it." More to be added.

They offered to replace the sensor so we took the vehicle back and had the sensor replaced. As we left the location we noticed that several warning lights were still on the dash. We returned to the counter and was told that the lights were on when the vehicle arrived originally which is not true. They are all linked to the ABS sensor that was damaged by the tech.
They stated that they would order another sensor that the one replaced must have been defective. Now over a week later I have contacted corporate and spoke to two people that promised a call from their supervisor which I have not gotten. I have also attempted for two days now to contact the location of which they are now avoiding me at all cost. I left work later than usual one day last week. Noticed I had a message about low air pressure in one of my tires. Found that a screw was in the tire. I pulled into my local Firestone since they were still open at 6:30 pm. Great young lady in the Service Department (Alexis) and front desk manager (Nicky). They were very gracious and fixed my tire even though it was very close to closing time. If I hadn’t stopped and got it checked, I would have woken the next morning with a flat tire. They were both conscientious, friendly and knew what they were doing. In addition, Nicky didn’t charge me a thing. I had been in there about 6 weeks before and had a tire pressure sensor replaced on a different. They offered the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I will go to their store again in a heartbeat! They were calm, cool and collected. Five stars for the 2 ladies at Firestone on Main Street in Lexington, NC.

I was a Firestone customer for about 10 yrs and a credit card holder. In August 2022, the Service Advisor at my local shop called while my SUV was still there to say the mechanic admitted to damaging my engine. Both Firestone/Bridgestone acknowledged "debris" had fallen in my engine area, requiring engine repair and they offered to have it taken somewhere to fix it. Bridgestone Claims coordinated towing my SUV to a dealership for a diagnostic service after asking which specific dealership I'd want it repaired at.
Once the estimate was ready, Bridgestone decided against paying the costly repairs and offered me a ridiculous settlement amount via email. They paid the $500+ diagnostics immediately to the dealership and I had to tow my vehicle home after declining the offer. I am still waiting on Bridgestone to fairly resolve the issue their Firestone shop caused. They owe me an apology for the way this has been poorly handled. Very cold-hearted!

Kendra ** and Eric ** assisted this senior citizen with purchasing 4 tires! Both spent extra time helping me find the best price available. I got a great price and excellent service from this shop on Battlefield Blvd. Chesapeake. I highly recommend this shop and these great staff who go the extra mile to give great customer service! Great job Kendra and Eric! Thanks so, much!
