    From the time I submitted information online as to what type of vehicle I was interested in, and completed a pre-approved questionnaire, visited the dealership I was completely amazed. I wasn't pressured into anything, I was shown what was available to me that would meet my financial status and this took place on a Friday morning at 11:00 AM and I was leaving with my newly purchased vehicle by 4:00 PM.     One of the greatest moment was when I got my 2007 Jeep Liberty. I made the payments on time and everything. As time progress, I decided to go back to college and things kinda fell apart. Now I want people to know that DriveTime, several times over, helped me out with extensions and stuff. And I appreciated all the time they helped me out. Towards the end, I got a great job and started making some higher payments to catch up. I was about $3500 and still a little behind when a small loan agent suggested that I talk to the DT dealership and see what they could do to help me out with the Champ Program. *DT Champ is for DriveTime’s existing clients who have reached $4,500 or less of balance. The program gets them lower interest rate on the next loan, little or zero down payment, and all the benefits of One True Price.*

    The young man worked with me and showed me several vehicles that were available as to what I wanted (another SUV). He made several calls and told me later that in order for them to help me out. I had to catch up on what I was behind, which I did on Friday for my appointment we had set. Before we could discuss anything, I had to make this payment and then we could continue. After the payment was made, suddenly I was only eligible for one 2017 vehicle (a car) and everything else was like 2-5 years old. Does it matter that I put $27,000.00 into the vehicle. When I fell behind I kept offering DriveTime the chance to please pick up the jeep and was told, "we don't want you to lose the jeep, let us help you."

    When I called DriveTime small loans, I just get the "we apologize, but we do not handle what they do at the dealership" which is probably true. I was never the perfect customer and I will admit that but after all that money I put into my jeep, the attempts at the end to take care of my payments, you would think a dealership would do anything to get me to buy another vehicle. I am beyond disappointed in DriveTime today. I was promised a new vehicle if I made my payment and turned in my jeep. The Champ Program was supposed to be a special thing for a customer who was under $4500.00 on his loan.

    In the end, DT lied to me as a customer and made no attempt to help me out. I guess the people who try to do the right thing, just never win. Congratulations to DriveTime for doing a bait and switch on me to get a payment and not honoring your Champ Program. After all these years and all the money I have given you, I leave you this review.

    I bought my 2011 Chevy Cruze back in Jan 2017. I have had consecutive issues with this car since. Wishing 3 days I had to put in a claim. I’ve only had this car for a year and I’ve had two transmissions replaced and I continue to have issues. I have driven this car consecutively for a month without having to call in an issue or my check engine light comes on. Obviously I was sold a lemon. But I will say the customer service is okay compared to some other companies, but whomever I spoke to this last time was not nice or empathetic at all to my situation so... just save yourself and go to another company.

    Ok so it's not the staff’s fault. The staff is a very polite and professional. The staff took real good care of me while I was in there. The problem is I selected a vehicle that I liked, got approved for the vehicle and was told a down payment and when got there it was twice the amount. I spent an hour there to get told that it's a different amount their website. They teach you to come in and then they give you the real price when you get there. In my opinion it is a bait-and-switch website. They give you the lowest down payment they tell you that you're approved for but when you get there it's a different story. This is the second time this has happened. The first time we went ahead and overlooked it and bought the vehicle. This time being twice the amount I'm not going to overlook it. I think that's crap. It is a bait-and-switch website. Do not believe what they tell you for a down payment.

    I WILL NOT RECOMMENDED ANYONE PURCHASE VEHICLE FROM DRIVETIME. I had purchase 2010 Chevy Malibu on Nov 27 2017 DriveTime in Aurora Illinois. Dec 4th I started having problem with the vehicle (steering gets stiff at stops, power steering and icy road lights start flashing). I been complaining to DriveTime. They said need take to one of their SR-Repair network, so I took to one of their network in Naperville, IL on Dec 7th 2017 but DriveTime/SR-Repair was not happy with results and they wanted me take it to second network. And so I took to AAMCO on Dec 11 2017 and they did the diagnostic: C0545 Steering Wheel Torque Input Sensor, dealer has recall for new updated steering column (recall Aug 2015).

    On Jan 18 2018 I took vehicle to Hawk GM dealership in Joliet, IL they replace Steering Shaft Torque Sensor 1.5. This vehicle have so many problem. Why dealership will sell vehicle like this??? SERVICE NEEDED DONE. Throttle body replacement: The check engine light is on for P2135 TPS correlation. Torque converter cover: Torque converter seal leaking drip. Brakes: Front brakes at 4mm. To get all this fix will cost me 2440.43. Vehicle total sale price $13161.27. I ask if they can work with me get into another vehicle. They refused to help me. They said you can surrounded the vehicle but will go on your credit.

    I am very unhappy with DriveTime. I have purchase 4 vehicle's with Champion points, paid off all vehicles, I was told that I could purchase any vehicle with no down payment, I tried just a day ago, now I'm told that because my car was paid from insurance when we had bad hail that my Champion points were taken away. The salesperson had me and my husband after telling us that we qualified for no down payment and then a few minutes later saying we don't. I got to DriveTime at 2:00 pm and finally left with no vehicle at 9:30 pm. Very frustrating with the yes & no salesperson. DriveTime San Antonio Tx on SW Military Dr.

    I was in the market for a very dependable automobile last week and I mentioned to my wife in passing over the past weekend that I was in the process of investigating the possibility of buying a late model SUV and she had no idea what kind of vehicle I was speaking of so she let it go in one ear and out the other. Well, I began my search online and preselected first the type of SUV I was interested in within 100 miles from my home. I found a few that peaked my interest and then I began the search for financing. Well, to make a long story short only one dealership out of 5 called me back... by the way I was approved online at all the dealerships and had my downpayment in hand. I was ready to do business!!!

    DRIVETIME in Chattanooga not only approved me in less than 5 minutes, had the vehicle I wanted BUT the saleslady LINDSEY ** called me within 10 minutes of my approval and we began the purchase process over the phone. For example they say 25% interest rate, but when you do the math it's over 83% interest rate, by the way that lie about 25% is in the (Truth in Lending) section. They sent me an impartial statement with misleading data on the breakdown statement. So many misleading and not disclosed info on papers. Numbers are not adding up correctly.     Purchased a car from DriveTime late September, all was great until... Well the car has been in the shop for a month now. It had blown the engine and I got the call confirming that on December 26th. Silver Rock approved it so they shipped an engine. The first one was damaged cosmetically but they still shipped it, the shop shipped it back. They ship a 2nd one, its bad as well. Mechanic took the intake off of the new one and a quart of oil come pouring out of it. So DriveTime customer relations calls me and offers to just cut us a check and we wipe are hands free of it or they use the down payment I used on the current vehicle on another.

    Well the problem with that is I'm laid off from work due to winter weather (it's construction) they wouldn't finance me for another vehicle. Mind you I have never been late on a payment even being laid off. So after arguing with these idiots I finally had enough and told them to honor the warranty like they are suppose to or I will see them in court. They agreed without argument so here we are going on attempt number 3 at getting a working engine! (Fingers crossed) moral of the story is they will sell you a lemon and fight you tooth and nail on it. DriveTime is a joke and so is Silver Rock. Instead of going through the manufacture and making it right they are trying to save pennies and get used or refurbished junk. STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY!!

    I decided to write this review after getting home this morning from having to walk my daughter to school in freezing weather. I just recently purchased a $20,000 2007 Avalanche so why am I walking? Exactly 4 months ago (I just made my 4th payment yesterday) I walked into Drive-Time when I noticed they had an Avalanche on their website. I did the online approval and was approved with a $600 down payment so I decided to go take a look at it. It was beautiful inside and out! I test drove it and it seemed like the perfect vehicle so I decided I had to have it.

    The sticker price was $1000 more than Kelley Blue Book but that didn't really bother me. After getting inside it turns out I needed $1900 down not the $600 I was lured in with so I decided to trade in my 2005 Tahoe (they gave me $3000). I did the math and all the numbers were adding up so I decided to proceed. I was given a vehicle 15 point inspection report which indicated no mechanical issues so I felt comfortable declining the extended warranty which would have added an additional $176 per month and extended my note an additional 2 years! After all was said and done I left with my beautiful Avalanche, a $26000 car nite and a $435 car payment for the next 5 years. The 1st month... No issues. :) The 2nd month... All hell has broke loose! For the last few months I have been dealing with every issue imaginable.

    Engine knocking (apparently the lifters were replaced at 10,000 miles) but need to be replaced again. Check Engine Light Off and On with numerous codes ranging from the Throttle Body malfunction to Accelerator Pedal needing replaced. Service Stability Traction Control... A generic code that ranges from minor to severe issues. This malfunction causes the vehicle to reduce engine power, slows the vehicle to 10 mph and causes irrational shaking. Nothing like being on the interstate going 70mph and your vehicle decides to throw this tantrum! Apparently this issue is very difficult to diagnose the true issue. It requires numerous "attempts" and hundreds of unnecessary dollars to solve. My mechanic told me "Good Luck" so I took it to a GM shop and was told "Sell It". Random Engine Failure Driving along and the vehicle dies. Shut it off and it starts right back up like nothing happened until it dies again.

    Sometimes the vehicle runs top notch and sometimes it runs like pure **! The last issue. 7am this morning when I go to warm up the vehicle (27 outside) and my engine makes the loudest-roughest spine-tingling noise so I immediately shut the vehicle off! I let it sit for about 10 minutes (usually this solves the tantrums) and start it up again. Fingers crossed it's okay. Nope! The noise is so terrifying I'm scared to let my daughter get in! What do I do? My daughter has to get to school and my truck is running like the devil. Only option is to walk so we get all bundled up and prepare for the mile long walk in 27 temperature. 56 minutes later I return home frozen and mad as hell. I just made my car payment yesterday!

    I call work and let them know I can't make in today then call the mobile mechanic and discover the engine is shot! WTF. I'm a single mom who works 60hrs/week with zero assistance in child support or government help. I can't afford $616/month (car note plus insurance) and replace an engine! I could call Drive Time and explain my problem but we all know how that goes. "You bought the car "as is" and you should have purchased the "extended warranty". We're sorry you're having issues," blah-blah-blah. "Your next payment is due in 30 days." So I'm stuck with $26000 debt and a vehicle that doesn't run! Moral of my story is there is a reason that salesman is so nice and the buying process is so easy! Don't trust their inspection reports! Do your research and take a mechanic with you!

    First let me start by saying that the salesmen at both Memorial Drive and Satelite Blvd DriveTime locations are very professional and answered my questions to the best of their knowledge. As far as the vehicles I was sold on all occasions, they were horrible. I initially purchased a 2010 Nissan Murano that I immediately fell in love with. The salesman Gavin went to another location to get it for me to test drive and purchase. He assured me that he drove it at different levels and had no problem. I test drive it and was happy.

    Nine days later I fill the tank, check engine light comes on. I call Silver Rock who advise me to take to Pep Boys for service. Pep Boys tell me a few hoses to the transmission were not connected correctly and they fix it. I literally drive 6 miles from the facility and the transmission goes. I use my insurance to get it towed back to Pep Boys and was told the next day it has to go to AAMCO for repairs. Aamco informs me it needs a transmission which Silver Rock prefers to send. I’m without my car for 10 days. Silver rock tried to pay me partial for rental but I wasn’t having it. DriveTime did pay for a rental for 5 of the 10 days.

    I get my SUV back thinking all is well only for it to need both O2 sensors that need replacing a few days later, the transfer case to go a few weeks later. Then the passenger side axel a few weeks after that the catalyst converter and downstream O2 sensor replaced and the driver side axel a few days after that. I patiently allowed for DriveTime’s “process” to play out. The straw that broke the camel's back is when the very day I get it back after having the driver axel replace, it starts the initial problems again, this time after the transmission mechanic drove it to discover it’s the replaced transmission that has went bad. I was over it by then. I called DriveTime customer relations and demanded another vehicle because I was not taking the piece of junk they are trying to patch together into the new year. I had 9 claims in 3 months. Not cool.

    They finally complied and I went to their Satelite Blvd location. It was almost closing time and I had no car and had to Uber there from work. I chose a 2012 Jeep Patriot because what I saw online was “outside” of my tier for credit. I drove it home and returned it 2 days later because it was horrible. Too small and the cabin noise on the highway was horrible. Now I currently have vehicle #3 which will be returned after having for 2 days. I’m waiting on DT to open in the morning to ask what type of garbage are they cleaning up and selling. Damn a tier. I don’t deserve this.

    The 2008 Ford Edge has soooooo many recalls outside the 1 I was told about. I only discovered it after the thing lost power, no odometer, and wrench and airbag lights came on (which terrified me because that’s the one recall they told me about). I had just picked up my daughter from work on the very day I purchased it. I was able to coast to the side of the road and turn it off. I waited a few minutes before restarting because I was afraid the airbag was going to blow. It started, jerked really hard when put in reverse and drive. Started off really slow when I hit the accelerator, then jerked into gear as if nothing happened.

    I went straight home and called a friend who works at a Ford dealership. He said it sounds like the throttle body that has a recall and may not have been completed on my car. He made an appointment for me to come in this Thursday. Couldn’t call DT because it’s the holiday weekend and closed until tomorrow. I asked would it be ok to drive and was advise yes but to keep an eye on it. Well the same problem occurred the next day 3 times, twice while on the highway. During the 3rd time the check engine light stayed on. I had scheduled to visit my local pep boys the day I purchased for them to look everything over because they know what I went through with the Murano.

    After running the codes I was told to return the vehicle. It showed the throttle body issue as well as transmission speed sensor failure. All I could do was cringe when I heard transmission. I want DT to do whatever is necessary to put me and my family in a safe and operable vehicle. Apparently what they deemed suitable for my tier is junk cars. I’ve been working hard prior to purchasing a vehicle to improve my credit rating which isn’t horrible by the way. I was told by the salesman at the Satelite Blvd location that I would need to put down an additional $5500 minimum if I wanted a better selection of cars. I’m not doing it. I put down $1100 and I want a vehicle that’s big enough, safe, operable and reliable. My income is not the issue. If I can not get DT to comply with this simple wish I will exercise my Arbitration rights. I’m not asking for much and I’ve done my part. Now I need DT to do theirs. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow.

    I have now had my car for nearly two years. This is not the first time I have put in a review and thankfully the DriveTime in my city, New Braunfels, has closed down. The most disconcerting thing, that frankly I have always been shocked by, is that even though I was a single mom with 6 children at home when I bought the car they sold me a total lemon! My exact words, with two separate people, were “please don’t sell me a car that will nickel and dime me to death, I cannot afford that”. Both times they quoted the same script. “Oh that can’t happen, we have an extensive inspection process for our previously owned cars and any issue that may arise will be sobered under the warranty”. Lies, all of it!

    I have spent thousands of dollars replacing or repairing things on this car! Was stranded with 5 children on I35 for hours due to the breakdowns. It’s been truly awful. Of course I’m completely upside down on this car so selling it is impossible. The fact that they both, one man and one woman, looked me in the eye and totally lied makes me very sad. They are a horrible company and I warn every human I come in contact with to Steer clear of them no matter how great your prices appear to be! You will regret it, I promise.

    My vehicle was repoed for insurance that had full coverage the entire time. The insurance was full coverage by GEICO and provided to the dealer on the day of the sale. Not once in conversation did the dealer reveal that my car could have been repoed for a change of address. The tags were extended and they still repoed before the tags expired. As the owner, I have to the repo lot wherever they are and spend resources to get my car back, which is a huge inconvenience that could have been avoided from the beginning. DriveTime is the last resort for anything, try all other dealers before this one. If DriveTime can do it, so can other dealers. Try your best to avoid this one.

    My son got a car from them last month after his car was totaled out. I was skeptical at first and tried to get him to wait but he didn't. Now that he has had the car he has had to get brake work done, change the oil and now the transmission is gone and this is a 2013 Altima.     This is the second time I've bought a car from DriveTime. I've always thought of DriveTime as loyal but they sold me a car with a defect. Who's ever heard of a cracked flywheel before but of course the warranty does not cover it. So 5 days of car rental plus labor and part $1,200 later and nothing to cover me. Anyone who is looking to repair or build their credit or save money do not invest in DriveTime or their vehicles. My vehicle had no car wrecks supposedly and everything was fine. I kept up with all the maintenance and here I am out of pocket. A single mother with my own business and DriveTime just lost a lifetime customer. My next car I will go through a dealership.     I did the pre-approval online. Got approved and stated I can put as little as $198.99 down. I don't go in for weeks after I eventually go in. Take all my information. The guy puts all my income in on a Thursday. I was told, "I call you tomorrow." I didn't hear anything. I call on. Ask for Miguel who completed my information. He was off that day. So Kimberly, states, "I can help you." She gets my phone number and my file and says, "Everything looks good. You are good for any car. When do you want to come in?" I told I have not looked at any of their vehicles online yet. She tells, "Once you do. Give me a call." I call her on Tuesday. Tell her four vehicle I'm interested in. I tell her I don't want to put no more than $400 down. I ask her what is the price range I should be looking for. She says it's her job to find me options in what to fit my budget.

    I came back on Saturday. I wait 2 hrs before seen. I then get Dan **. He says, "Looks like everything is completed." I tell him I want to put down between $300-$400. He says, "Let me show my manager so I can get vehicle," for me to view. I wait another hour. He then come back and say, "I want to recheck the info Miguel put in." "Not saying he did anything wrong". I sit for another hour finally he comes saying his manager is still trying to verify child support income no way of doing that but he already has official letter with the amount. Not to mention over$ 3,000 income a month was already verified. He show me one car ok. Then he pulls up two other vehicle that we're not in the description of what I need. But these are in the amount of the verified income. Ok he steady trying to force this Dodge Dart. l tell I don't want to move forward on that because I have not seen anything else that's comparable to make a decision.

    He asked the manager for more cars in my require amount. He gives him for more. I tell him I don't want to see but one. It's cheaper than the dart and I like it, the Chrysler 200. We filling out all paperwork. I watched the video. I pick the warranty plan. I ask Dan how much is the down payment. $300 or $400. He says, "My manager James did tell you." I said no. He was going over the option warranty so fast. No. He come back. Says this a $1000 down. I say, "Why would you bring me a vehicle over the amount I asked?" Dan looked shocked because he asked the other manager for the more cars in that range. I wasted 5 hour because they wanted more money down than I offered. When little to none of my down payment goes towards my car payment. This location was Midlothian, IL. I do not recommended anyone go there unprofessional and no regard for customer.

    I just relocated from MS to IN. I purchased a vehicle for winter driving. I also own a Porsche convertible. I found a car online I wanted for winter. It was DriveTime who I have never heard of. Then 11 days after 1 month due date they towed the car from my workplace!!! I had even called them same day to say I closed my bank account from MS and opened a new acct and give them my new information and they said just go to website. No one said nothing about car scheduled for tow!!! Then I see I have a voicemail from them on the same day they towed while I was at work!!!

    So after towing they tell me I owe 445 for payment and another 450 for towing!!! These people are not right! Not willing to work to make things right and already reaping with interest! I just couldn't pay 450 for unrighteousness towing! I just found out they help people with less than credit but I find they extort people. My credit score will certainly suffer now because they can take this vehicle and... Do not buy a vehicle from DriveTime!!! They will extort you!!!

    Back in 2016, I had a car with the transmission going out, so I decided to go to DriveTime to look for a new car. At the time it was the closest and most reasonable car dealership that I could make it to. I applied, and was only approved for a lease. I've never applied for a car loan before, so I was okay with it. I didn't know what I was getting into. I was shown a small amount of cars available for leasing, and only one of those cars caught my interest. After inspecting the car, I was told someone had already put money down on it. Then I was told it wasn't recommended to go to another location to check out other cars. So instead I sat in the lobby for an hour figuring out which car I was going to choose. I've decided to go with the 2005 Chevy Malibu. Although I wasn't interested, I was also desperate and needed into another car fast due to my job.

    I test drove it, and after returning to the dealership to put down the down payment and sign papers, I was told the car had a few recalls. I was also told I could get the recalls fixed for free as well as a rental car for free which later was deemed untrue, well the free rental car part. A few months into driving the car, my A/C and heat stopped working. With the warranty, I couldn't afford to fix it. Shortly afterwards, I found out my shifter was broken (by my then 3-year-old). She was able to put the car into gear without pressing the button or putting her foot on the brake. She's done it twice, with the car turned on and off. Over time I was able to save up to get my car fixed. The warranty covered the A/C (found out the car had to get a new computer). But it didn't cover the shifter. So I paid for that out of pocket. I immediately found out my odometer went from 160,000 (est) to 105,000. I called the shop and asked if they changed the mileage and they said no.

    I called DriveTime customer relations and they told me there's nothing they could do, and that my free oil changes are voided. A month later, I was pulled over and was told my tags were invalid, and that they expired in August 2016. I got the car in June 2016 which made no sense. I called my state's department of revenue and I was told the title to my car was still under the previous lessee’s name. I was looking at $600 in penalties. I was able to get the car titled well within 30 days of getting the car.

    Luckily, DriveTime paid the penalty and sent me my new tags. But it took weeks and tons of phone calls to get it done. As fed up as I was with this company, I went to another dealership to see if they would buy my lease. They pulled up the Carfax (Drive Time didn't do this) and it showed that the odometer had been replaced long before I leased my car. Kelley Blue Book didn't want to give me an offer, which means the car isn't worth anything. I'm paying a lot of money for a 12-year-old car that I couldn't enjoy because it has so many problem. I've expressed my complaints with DriveTime customer relations many times with no results. I have 2 more years in my lease and I'll be so glad when it's over with. I will never do business with DriveTime again.

Started looking further into it car had been in a rear-end.     The sales process is extremely friendly and streamlined which on the surface seems to be a good thing. It’s not. It’s designed to quickly funnel you through the purchase without paying attention to the particulars. The extended warranty. First, they overcharge for a 5 yr 50,000 limited warranty by charging $3,550.00 for the warranty. To struggling credit purchasers, the added amount seems small compared with the peace of mind of being protected. Well, what they don’t explain, is that the true cost of this warranty is more than TRIPLE that. The “extended warranty” added 28 more months of car payments to the loan which actually increased the overall cost to the exact same amount of the PURCHASE price of the car with INTEREST.

    AVOID. When I had an issue with the car a couple weeks after purchase, I was told I would have PAY out pocket for diagnostic charges, and immediately referred to their “kickback” partner shops in the local area. Through my own research, I contacted manufacturer who said vehicle still covered under their 5 yr 60,000 mile warranty and they fixed free of charge.

    This was my fault, but after subsequent inspection upon cleaning the car at home, I noticed DriveTime was nice enough to highlight bumper damage and scratches by drawing arrows and lines in silver marker to outline it, but never fix prior to delivery of vehicle. When pictures shown and mentioned, DriveTime immediately clams up.

    They have no service department, and therefore all repairs/estimates are third-party. Even their warranty crushes you with a deductible, the cost of which would normally cover diagnostic charge anyway. I had to repair burnt out tail light myself a week after purchase because they wanted me to drive 1/2 hr to a mechanic and again pay out of pocket. I had AC unit issues within 5 weeks of purchase and was told I had to pay out of pocket to diagnose problem. Battery tested below specs 3 weeks after purchase. No remediation. Two front tires already need replacement less than two months after purchase. Alignment same. Mechanic says that service has been needed for quite some time and should’ve easily been picked up in their “supposed” 100plus point “DriveTime” vehicle inspection.

    Should’ve known better than to trust a subprime lender, but the hired a sweetheart saleswoman who charms the pants off you, right up until the moment the sale is made when it instantly becomes “call this number or this person” not me when there is an issue. Avoid this dealership chain like the plague unless you truly have no other option. Even then, go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and preferably have a mechanic come with you to inspect.

    You will find a common theme amongst Drivetime reviews; only for subprime borrowers with little to no other options available. As somebody with decent credit (650+) and generous income, Drivetime was not on my radar. I never had a problem financing my last few cars through traditional routes. Mind you that my interest rate still averaged about 12-14% due to high debt income ratio. Drivetime made me an offer I couldn't refuse and others would not match though.

    I was shopping for a used Infiniti Q50 and found an ideal one at Infiniti of Montclair, CA. It was a black 2014 with premium package, 19" rims, and 64k miles for a little over $23,000. I decided to spend the weekend looking for something comparable and came across a 2014 brown Q50 with premium package and 48k miles for a little over $21,000 at a Drivetime dealership. I figured they were pricing the vehicle lower in anticipation of making it up with high interest rate. I thought what the heck and contacted them to see what the offer would be. To my surprise, after running my credit and providing income verification, they offered me 10.5% interest with a $1,200 down payment. This was better than my last three auto loans with Capital One and Santander. Needless to say, Drivetime might be an option to consider even if you have decent credit and access to other lenders.

    DriveTime made it possible to have a 2nd car loan for me but at a hefty interest price. I have been paying on my loan for more than 2 years and only reduced the principal by approximately $3,000. The initial loan was about $15,000 and I put down $1,000 so that would be $14,000 to start. Payments are $380 a month. My payments in the past 2 years has added up to more than $9,000. Majority of my investing is paying interest. I even have a daily interest added to the loan of 7 dollars a day. I checked my payoff quote today and it says $11,004. So in these 2 years I have paid $6,000 to interest, and $3,000 to the principal.

    I am so tired of paying this much for a vehicle that is 10 years old with rust that suddenly started showing on the doors this year. The paint is just flaking off and revealing all this hidden rust. It’s incredibly depressing to think and feel like I am being ripped off every time I look at the car. I wish they would negotiated a reasonable payoff quote so I could get out from under this horrible loan, but they won’t.

    Hickory Hills, Illinois told me with my credit score I qualify for no money down on anything as long as my income was $2,000 a month. I was then told I needed $3,000 per month $2,000 down payment for a note of $197 every 2 weeks $422 per month. Math $197 X 2 does = $422. I then google the VIN the Cadillac SRX2013 is flood damaged. State Farm ruled the car unrepairable. At this point I just walked away.

    My service with the Drive Time sales team was great but since I purchased the vehicle just 4 months ago, putting only about 4000 miles on the vehicle, I have had to take it in to the shop multiple times because it was leaking some sort of fluid, the vehicle was hesitating to start, the brake light came on and a notice on the control panel as well as now there's a clunking noise in the tires. With the hesitation in starting I had to purchase a new battery. With the brake light I was told there was almost no brake fluid and now I'm told that on the driver's side, front and back tires, the coil springs are broken and loose but SilverRock doesn't cover it. One would think that a battery, brake fluid and coil springs would last beyond 4 months of owning a vehicle. It leads me to believe that Drive Time sold me a vehicle that had not been properly inspected before the sale.

    I saw DRIVE TIME ad on the internet. The 2 min. approval. Did it and got approve. I thought great until I started reading the reviews. Some were good and some were bad. I thought I will see for myself. I think some reviews were telling the truth, like some of the cars there are not good. They are not worth the money. They are nice when you are buying a car but get mad when you noticed things wrong with their cars. I ended up with a car I like. Two weeks later, car doesn't start. Thank God!     Just bought my car in Las Vegas Nevada Decatur location. It's simple. You go in, ask for Sierra **, say Joseph sent you and, get a new car. My experience with DRIVETIME was outstanding! I think people have a misconception about, DriveTime, and only leave negative feedback after they have had a repo, or something they did not like about DriveTime. Well one you got to understand that this place is for people with bad credit, with people that have bad credit comes at a cost, and you really got to prove yourself because hey we are the ones that let our credit get where it got at. I think for a company like DriveTime to come along and, offer people a second chance is a godsent.

    Ask yourself how many car dealerships did I go to and, they put over 36 inquiries on my credit? Well guess what. I had to lock my credit report up 'cause of all the inquiries finally was running my credit through the mud just to try and get me a loan even after I told them to stop trying.
