    I originally bought a car on Tuesday April 4th and had a wonderful experience with Anthony my sales rep. The entire process went smoothly, until hour after I left a warning light appeared regarding front collision sensor. Originally it was believed to be part of recall.     So we found out hours after buying the car that the sunroof will not close on its own and has to be manually pushed closed and isn't covered by any offered insurance. So, tomorrow the car will be returned. It is my opinion that the car was not gone through very thoroughly because one the sunroof won't close and I was told the oil was changed but there is no evidence saying when it was done. I didn't check the sunroof because I wasn't aware that the car had one.

    After several conversations re: me buying a specific car for cash, When I did show up to make purchase, I was able to test drive right away but then I had to wait for hours (about 3) for someone to process the sale. No Financing involved so should have been a quick and easy process. I finally purchased the vehicle brought it home on Sat. My daughter came to get it Sunday and it wouldn't crank.

    Monday morning, I couldn't even jump it off until I went and had the fob battery replaced, then I was able to jump it off and get it to a service center where I spent another couple hours waiting on a new battery to be brought by the warranty service company. Drive Time knew this car needed a new battery, but they decided to dump that issue on the customer and Silver Rock. What should have been a quick easy process and a big happy day for my daughter ended up wasting half of my Sat., most of my Monday and now I have to get the car to my daughter who lives out of town.

    Had a blowout after I purchased a 2011 Honda Accord from your establishment on 03.18.2023. To my surprise when I went to change the tire there was no spare/donut or the tools to change it. Nor any fix a flat, that would have been useless for a blowout. It took about 3 hrs to purchase this vehicle. I would have thought that would have been enough time to explain to me that safety is not a concern with this establishment.

    I brought a Jeep from Drivetime. I tried to take it back on the 8th day of me having it and they told me no. It was past 7 days. I called corporate and didn’t get nowhere. Long story short I knew something was wrong with the vehicle. After a few days well it caught on fire while driving my daughter to work. They came and repossessed it and then put it on my credit. Horrible.

Being everyone else was assisting other customers Jovarny approached us and told us that he would be doing our final walkthrough/checklist. Which personally is something that I was really impressed with. It gives that piece of mind that all the bells and whistles on your "new vehicle" are all working properly. Like for us our Android Auto was not connecting properly, but Jovarny showed us that Apple Car Play was it was just a matter of a simple cord connection.

    The process was never rushed or felt rushed, he took his time and went over everything with us and made sure we understood everything. Overall, this whole experience for the both of us was one of the better experiences in car buying. We were never rushed, pressured, or overwhelmed by any of it. Yes, it was stressful getting to where we are now, yet thanks to DriveTime, more importantly thank you to Charles and Jovarny, for making it all possible!!!

    Car had sticky goo on a lot of interior. Crumbs all over rear compartments. Smells like mildew after sitting for a night. Rear bumper hitch cover was not aligned and looked as if it was falling off. Seal around sunroof was not attached (I had to reattach - I found this out when the car was poured water inside the car). No floor mats. Dirt and sand in all cracks of seats. Cars gas light came on when leaving DriveTime. We drove 5 hours to get this car and I've spent a total of 3 hours cleaning so far. I will have to spend $150 on floormats and another $300 to get mildew smell and dirt/sand out. I assumed that spending 27k would at least get me a full tank of gas and a fully detailed car.

    We bought a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. They advertise that it’s a quick buying experience. Although we had already spent 3-4 hours the evening before providing all of our information. Then the next day we went to Drivetime in Rivergate-Madison Tennessee. We spent another 3-4 hours there. We liked a vehicle at a North Birmingham Alabama location. But we were told the vehicle could not be sent to a dealer closer than that 4-4:30 hour drive from Robertson County TN. So we settled with a vehicle on the lot.

    Our salesperson Arianna was nice and told us our vehicle was going to be detailed and filled up with gas while we waited. The vehicle was dirty and we asked nicely for it to be cleaned and for the gas tank to be full while still signing paperwork electronically. The “detailing of the vehicle” we waited for an hour over ended up being a wipe down literally it looked like with just a wet rag and a little vacuuming. Then we look at the gas gauge. It’s on less than a quarter of a tank of gas. So we speak directly to the manager of Drivetime Madison, TN.

    His name is Justin ** at 1540 Gallatin Pike North Madison., TN 37115. He told us in the rudest way possible as we’re about to drive off with our vehicle with enough gas to get home?? He says rudely “we are only allowed to put $10 gas in the vehicle when purchased.” Then we mentioned how dirty the vehicle was and he once again rudely said “well we do not fully detail the cars. There are car washes you know?!” I was appalled by this and was so tired of being there I just gave up and went straight across the street to the gas station and paid $45 dollars to fill the tank up. Was he lazy and rude? Yes. All of this was AFTER my fiancé walked very hard into the clear glass with only shades pulled up next to the doors going in and out.

    Why would you only pull shades up next to the doors where it looks as if the doors are open. Her drink cup busted and went all over her clothes and shoes and all they had to say was “this actually happens all the time.” So needless to say this story is from end to beginning. The ONLY good thing was all the great things Arianna said would be done to our used vehicle that was so dirty and instead of after all this leaving that lot with a clean, shiny car, we left with less than a quarter tank of gas and a smeared dirty SUV.

    My fiancé had several seizures after leaving that day. I found her in the kitchen floor and then whilst getting ready to either call an ambulance or hurry and drive her to the Emergency Room. She had another seizure on the bed. She suffered a concussion, a migraine, bit tongue and more. So next time maybe they will treat people right. Not joke about people running into the glass pane floor to ceiling glass. Do as they say they will and it doesn’t take much to make us happy. This was overall a horrible experience!

    Had major issues with the car. Called the manager of the New Castle store. He treated me with disdain, talked over me as I tried to explain the situation. The misogynist then mansplained their policy. I wanted to return the car (no garage in the area accepts their warranty insurance). Their policy? You give them a check-they give you the keys. You return the car, they give you a check in 7-10 business days (2 WEEKS!) His explanation? Well then I had to go get the check from my bank! I had to point out that I did not have the car, yet! Another issue: they keep one of the key fobs. So be careful, they have your address AND an extra key to your car!!

    I purchased the vehicle for $29000 with $5000 down. When I went to pick the vehicle up a large amount of smoke came from the exhaust when I started it and every time I started it thereafter. I called the next day to let them know. They insisted it was because it was cold outside and perhaps the vehicle had just been sitting. 2 weeks later as me and my kids are driving to a festival the check engine light and low oil pressure light comes on.

    I immediately pull over to google what that means and how serious it was. Google said it was one of the worst things that can happen to that vehicle so I called DriveTime right away. They gave me a shop to take it to. We went to firestone as told and firestone said the vehicle had less than 1/3 of a quart of oil and it appeared as tho the vehicle had never had an oil change and recommended the entire engine be flushed. The cost of the oil change was $106 and they did not do engine flushes at their facility and recommend I find someone that does. I then called drivetime to tell them what the report said. They said they would not reimburse me for the oil and that I would have to pay that myself.

    The following day I have to take my kids home to their mother which is a 90 min drive each direction. While on I4 the same things happens, however this time we are on a busy highway and I am not about to risk the safety of my kids' lives and be on the side of I4 with cars doing 80+ MPH so I drove to the nearest exit and parked the vehicle at 7-11 and Hilton Hotel. My ex had to drive to come get the kids and I had to take an uber home, $58 dollars later I make it home.

    The following day I let DriveTime know what had happened and they said its under SilverRock warranty to call them to handle it. SilverRock said to tow it to the nearest facility and that once again I needed to pay for that. $177 to tow the vehicle in which they said they will reimburse $75 of that cost. I then had to fex ex the keys to the shop which was another $38. Upon calling Drive Time they said they will not reimburse me. I told them if they would pay for the last tow to Nissan I would not file complaints or hire an attorney, their pride and lack of customer service is leading to a lawsuit! My attorney said he deals w/ them all the time and they are the worst of the worst!

    The truck I purchased is great, it's sad that according to the dealership they did a full inspection on the truck but didn't mention it was missing the gas cap and it had a bolt stuck in the rear passenger tire that was a slow leak, but put a brand new but to small of a compressor to blow the tire up.     Fresh out of training my sales rep Myranda was absolutely amazing. Not only was she one of the two sales associates on duty other than the manager.     Just understand they deal with those with few options because they understand they are easy prey. Your down payment WILL increase before you take delivery and then after having taken delivery within 24 hours a "MANAGER" Will contact you saying he sees an issue after he looked it over and your terms WILL skyrocket. Seen it too many times to not be trained that way.

    DriveTime in Bridge Crest also they own the warranty company that they sell you when you buy the car. Be careful. They will not honor the warranty. I had no late payments, no issues and paid out of the pocket for the repairs that I had when I tried to use the warranty. They would not honor it because it was a dealer repair, and they said they would not honor the warranty because they don’t deal with the dealerships, also the vehicle that I bought had a lot of issues that they knew existed. Be careful. You might buy a lemon from drivetime.

    I recently purchased a car with Drivetime I am so happy and thrilled with Christian. She is amazing. A great customer sales lady but the staff no way. They took me through a loophole after I signed all my paperwork. They tried to make me do all my paperwork over again. Would not give me my car, so I had to come in a following day to do to sign paperwork that I already signed so we ended up doing the paperwork over for no reason. Then my car was not washed and was on half a tank of gas. The car should be washed and filled with gas! And then the day I had to do my paperwork I felt rushed but they told me the store's closing at 6:00 but when I was leaving it was two other ladies in there that they were showing so much attention to and they ended up not even buying a vehicle. Only issue is I've had the truck for 24 hours, found out the headlight assembly on passenger side is broken, has a check engine light on.     DriveTime Used Cars. 2225 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, Used car dealer. The worse experience I've ever had in my life!! The purchase and sales of the vehicle went well until I left the lot and the engine light came on and the car started bouncing all over the place and stalling while I was driving. Went through warranty SilverRock and had it serviced 4 times to fix the engine and safety issues all while not having a car to work, care for my son and try to keep life balanced. Upon taking it to a dealership approved by warranty I was told by the mechanic that the frame was rusted beyond safety standards and would never be safe to drive or tag. After some further talk I was told that it's apparent that someone had spray painted the rust and gas lines that were about to burst at any minute.

    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE TO HELP ME DEAL WITH BEING CAR LESS. This is still going on 2 months later sending me letters to sign over my right to review this company (not happening). I'M a big google reviewer and the living hell they have caused me and my family needs to be known to avoid other people to have to go through the same thing in these most difficult times for all of us.. So rather than just return my money and void the sale they want to keep payments I've made, give me my deposit back and never shop with them again as if I did something wrong for just wanting what's fair and required by the 2015 Consumer rights law that includes vehicles.

    I have always been able to work out things like this with ZERO HASSLE especially when the business is at fault. DO NOT.... AND I MEAN DO NOT trust this business!!!! The honesty and shadiness is truly unbelievable! I have no clue how they even start to think they are right with my service records, all the driving to 3 different shops 5 different times and a professional mechanic from the dealership calling out what quite frankly seems criminal to me and will be addressed accordingly. Stand by for updates to my review. You can always check out my 100s of google reviews as I keep my reviews honest, to the point and hold businesses accountable for Good and Terrible services.
