I have never had an easier car buying experience ever!!!! They were courteous, friendly, upfront, and honest from the start. Submitted most of documents before I even went there, when I got there submitted bank statements digitally, test drove, signed and out the door. Thanks DriveTime, y'all rock. I just purchased a 2016 Kia from the North Houston location and had a wonderful experience! The first point of contact that I spoke to was DeUndre and he was awesome! He quickly set up my appointment and was very professional. When I arrived for my appointment Richard helped me test drive the vehicles I was interested in and then was able to navigate me through the purchase process easily and quickly without any hassle. When preforming the inspection I noticed a nail in one of the tires and Richard spoke with the manager without hesitation to get it fixed. Overall I had a great experience from shopping all the way through to the purchase.

Did the online pre-approval first. The process is fast. It would have been faster, but negotiations fell through on my first choice. They allow you to do a full review of the pertinent features, which I thought was very considerate of the purchase. The second choice was better. Very thankful to the sales rep, Tanycka!

Great application, and approval process. Great onsite process. Disappointed that I had to spend $20 to Uber back to get the car I purchased because I drove another car to the lot and no one would follow me home. Disappointed that I have to go and get the inspection sticker. Disappointed that I did not receive a full tank of gas.

Buying car from Drivetime for my son and it's been in the shop more than he gets to drive out. Only had it for a few months. Extended warranty doesn't cover anything. Don't buy car from here. Not worth it. They suck.

It was fast and easy. Went on line, came in, drove home. The best car shopping experience I’ve ever had. They're 1 in my book. Facts I had been to several other dealerships just to get the run around and keep getting my credit ran making my credit score decrease. None of that with DriveTime. The name says it all. It’s drive time when you come in.

DriveTime in Winston Salem is a joke. The people that work there are very rude and will cut you off while you’re talking and trying to explain something! I got approved for a vehicle and I sent in all my income stuff like they asked and they kept on wanting me to send pay stubs in even after I sent 3 months of them already! I asked to speak to a Manager they refused to do that and hung up on me! I wouldn’t advise anyone to go to this place. Such rude rude people!

Purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox on 7/27/23. Within 3 hours the transmission was slipping out of gear, revving rpms. There was no transmission fluid in the vehicle. We broke down on and my family spend the night on the highway in rural South Carolina. I missed a night of work. Was able to get some transmission fluid in it to get it home. Had to fill the entire thing - bone dry. On my dime of course. Was referred to 3 service locations only to find out they didn't do transmission work. Just the worst experience I've ever had buying a car. With their claim to inspect these vehicles how could fluids be an issue. Simplest thing!!!

The buying experience was easy and pleasant. I am very excited. Definitely going to have the car checked out by a mechanic to make sure there are no major issues so we shall see where that leads but as of right now I am thrilled. The employees here are almost. It was a hassle free, smooth transaction. Will let my friends and family know if they're looking to purchase a car to go see Matt or Dane. They are very patient, we test drove a few cars. It was also impressive that there was gas in them, most test drive cars you have to worry if you're going to run out of gas. The atmosphere is laid back and calm. They offer you cold water and popcorn, and even a little play area for the kids.

Went to Drivetime here in Jax FL off Atlantic Blvd and Allison was amazing. She worked with me and my mom to get the deal done. She did and I drove off the lot with my 2017 Nissan Altima. I got turned down at 7 places and was depressed so my buddy told me about Drivetime and to check them out. Well I did and now I have a car.

Matt, the salesperson was very courteous and we shared jokes and laughs together. He made the car buying experience very easy and smooth. I would buy another car from this team again. Same day deal and pickup within 2 hours is a very big plus for me. The only thing that was a little off a minus was that I went to the Lakeland location expecting to look at a car that I set up an appointment for, however they sold it and didn't inform me before I wasted my time to go out of the way for that car. I ended up back at the Brandon location that is only .5 miles from my job.

Great customer service. I love my truck. Quick and easy as long as you have everything you need. Do the app online, when you get to the store pick out your car and pay your money down. It doesn't change when you show up get the car you want. That's what I like about it. They did not try to sell me a car. The app told me what I was approved for.

I mention something slightly wrong with the car after test driving it and the gentleman was somewhat pushy and insisted that the issue would go away as the car has been sitting on the lot for a while and not driven. Give it time and it will go away. WELL the slip between shifting gears got worse the 2nd day of having the vehicle so I returned it to dealership. ALSO because I paid cash and debit for downpayment, I now have to WAIT 15 DAYS for my down payment to be returned to me. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!

Vehicle broke down the day I purchased it. Today is Monday, July 17, 2023. I can’t get the vehicle in to a place to have it looked at until Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Right now I don’t know what the issue is but it is running rough and blowing smoke and no radiator fluid in. Had to purchase 1 gallon of radiator fluid. Right now I’m a very disgruntled pissed off and do not want anything to do with that vehicle right now. Thank you.

Car oil not changed. Shows -3186 past oil. Was not reset. That's how I know wipers won't pass inspection. Won't clean windshield when light rain and have been on car awhile with rust on their frame. Old owner information for phone and calls still on and not cleared for safety someone getting their information. I work for Lynn smith Chevrolet and I do all the used cars that come in from trade to auction. I live 55 miles from the store where this car was bought. We ended up purchasing a car but our experience was a nightmare from start to finish. The icing on the cake was being showed a car. Being told the down payment was $500 which was our budget. Test driving that car. Falling in love with the car....Then being told we were showed the wrong car and that the one we wanted was $1395 down. Then we were showed the car we should have been shown in the first place and being disappointed. We ended up coming up with the money for the car we wanted. We feel this was done intentionally. Total bait and switch. Horrible thing to do your customers. I'm glad it worked out in the end but your employees should not do that. As we were leaving the dealership we heard them telling another customer the same thing they told us...."I'm sorry. We showed you the wrong car". It's not fair.

Kandis was nothing but good with her. As I was talking to her she asked who helped me at the other location. Help and asking a question is different. No one helped me. I asked questions and they answered. No one showed me a car or even came outside to help me. Kandis deserve the full commission on this sale. She added me to this Stone Mountain location, went over the package deal, took out 3 to 4 cars, and had a smile on her face the entire time. Die her to split the commission is crazy. Please review and at least give her 90%.

Great customer service and help from all employees. Accurate on vehicle descriptions and good value for the used cars they carry, Beverly was helpful and test drive was smooth. She let me drive two cars and anything else I wanted to she offered 'cause she wanted to make sure I was happy with my car selection and pricing, I definitely will be bragging about Drivetime to my family, friends and whoever I hear that mentions car buying. Our salesman was exceptional. His name was Bradley. He works in the Jacksonville area on Cassatt. He is upfront, listens and doesn’t push anything. We’re grateful for the fact that Drivetime realizes not all people with bad credit are bad people. We realize we’ll pay a little more but we’re willing to do that for a decent vehicle.

Purchased a car from there. Have been making payments religiously. Kept up on regular maintenance. Had a problem. Their warranty company ignored it until the warranty ran out. Now it’s over $5000 to fix and not worth it. They told me, "Too bad, let it get repossessed."

I was given a copy of the installment contract stating one thing and told something totally different from the bank. I was also told I was sent an email with the contract which I wasn't. Something shady going on with this company. I was given one contact, and they submitted a different one.

The customer service in my experience was excellent but the cars at both locations are very ** but the customer service at both locations is excellent. Staff at both locations were very nice and very patient. Took the time to make sure I found what I really liked and did not complain and it is very hot out here in Las Vegas so I thank both locations' Staffing for being very patient with me.

Very disappointed in the vehicle I purchased. Some of the features were obsolete and no longer supported by current SYNC software. Am going to return it and look for another. Everyone was very helpful with the replacement of one car with another one. The wait time was extremely long even though I had been approved for the previous car that was not working. Although there were major issues with this vehicle that has required it to be in repair for over a week now, Lucierne the manager at the Kissimmee location was incredibly helpful and kind while we were figuring the mess out. Jan was GREAT. Spoke to him about wanting to purchase a small SUV but because I travel for work, I would be out of town for 2 weeks on an assignment. Well that assignment was extended a week. Then my flight home was delayed due to the weather. Kan stayed in contact with me and I was able to purchase a beautiful Mitsubishi Outlander. Once I arrived I was given a warm welcome and we had a lot of laughs. Ramon assisted Jan and explained everything in great detail and even asked me if I understood before moving on to the next item. I initially started my car purchase two weeks ago at the DriveTime Marietta location. I was told that I had to return in two weeks because I needed some additional documents. I was able to return, but ended up going to the Union City location because it was closer to where I was at the moment, I called and spoke to Tia. She told me to upload my documents. I did and she returned my phone call and told me to come on in so that she could see if she could help me out so I did. When I got there I was greeted by Ms. **. She did an amazing job. They were able to verify all my documents and get me in the vehicle that I asked for. It was a very painless process.
Even the rest of the staff was extremely nice, offered water and entertain my daughter while I filled out paperwork. Thank you so very much for your service to the community. Frederick was my sales person and he was great. I will tell people about him and how he treated us—very kind, patient informative, knowledgeable and helpful. Even the manager Janet was at our disposal, just a nice atmosphere. The only negative I found is that the cars were not cleaned and smelled of cigarette smoke. I ask another one of my friends who purchased a vehicle from another DriveTime dealership and she said her car was not cleaned and needed cleaning as it smelled as well.

The car I bought cost me over $6600 in engine repairs in less than a year of ownership. The car was obviously maintained only well enough to get through the test drive and initial few months, then everything started going wrong with the engine. And the SilverRock warranty they sold me for $3500? Completely worthless. They wouldn't pay a dime. DriveTime customer service? They had my money, and couldn't have cared less. Scam!

Went thru three cars that had mechanical problem. Salemen don't need to sale lemon. No one checks this vehicles for issue. Will not go there again. Drive Time need to have cars check before making a sale. All the cars are big lemon. Customer service didn't want to fix no issue with none of the cars I like. Very disappointed there

I was out looking at and test driving cars at a few of your locations. The one that’s sitting with me is the Colorado Springs Location. There is a Golf on their lot with only 9,000 miles on it. I had been very curious to see what the deal was with her. She was a bit more than I had wanted originally to spend. However she is more of what I originally set out to purchase. After a quick once over I easily spotted a big repair that had been done in a rather shoddy way. Once I realized that I went to the sales rep and showed him and asked him how they planned to handle the situation. He said since there wasn’t ever any accident reported during the previous ownership. This being the case he wasn’t able to bring the price down.
I feel like your company is trying to take people's kind and trusting manners and make a buck or two. The fact this repair was easily spotted by me as quick as it was, means that there is no possible way your employees didn’t take not take notice and make a concerted effort to compensate the price for the damage and also make me feel better.

I wish I had enough time and space to share the type of review I would like, just so people understood the type of difference the employees at Drive Time made in my life in a matter of a day. I went a year without a car after giving mine up for a divorce to lose the last bit of connection with the ex, followed by bankruptcy with nothing but Murphy’s Law trailing me the entire way.
I started working three jobs and busting my ass to get another car and get my life back on the right path. I purchased a new vehicle at another dealership and had it for a month with no A/C and emails and calls in, only to have them call me and tell me to bring it back because of discrepancies that were done on their end.I gladly agreed to bring the vehicle back and contacted DriveTime right away because of their reviews. I work for a five star company so I know it’s possible and they were close enough for me.

The purchase process was stressful. I had 3 different sales personnel involved in their purchase process. The vehicles exterior appeared clean. But door jams, hood and trunk body molds inside were filthy. two tire rims were damaged and their personnel would not address and help in repair. Said, they meet our standard. They appear to have no concern with total customer satisfaction. Interior has an odor. The car should have had a detailed cleaning. I will have it done.

My salesmen was great, got me taken care of quickly, answered all my questions etc. Only gripe I have was when I called I told them I didn't want to waste my time going to the dealership if we couldn't make a deal so they ran my credit, got all my numbers together and called me back to let me know we were good and that my payment was going to be 471. Got to the dealership the next day, started signing paperwork and it jumped up (I don't remember the exact amount). When I said something the salesman said that all he does is print out what's in the computer but he said he would print it out again and see if any thing changed... Well the numbers went down but not as low as what I was quoted over the phone. That was my only complaint. The truck was nice, the salesman was great. I was in and out quickly.

The car was what I was looking for but I have a problem with people who lie and tell you what you want to hear to sell you a car. I paid over 25k for a car and I never heard of a place that does not clean or detail a car for their customers. The sales rep told me he would see what he could do but when I arrived to complete my paperwork the car was still sitting there dirty and when I asked why the car was not clean and if I could get a detail, the sales rep told me that unfortunately they don't do details or clean the cars, so why the heck would you tell someone that you would see what you could do and why would you not clean a car for a customer who forks out over 25k for a used car!!
Lastly, my sales rep said he would fill up my tank with gas so I assumed he would at least do that. When the sales rep handed me my keys I asked him about the gas he promised me and he said ok and took the keys back from me and went to the gas station and to my surprise, when I thought he had done what he had promised when he gave me back the car I noticed the gas tank was only filled up halfway!! Never will I purchase a car from this place again with this type of service!!! Totally Ridiculous!!

Clay was a big help and they were very accommodating, I was very picky and test drove multiple vehicles looking for the one I wanted. They made sure I was able to drive any one I wanted even after I asked to see the same one more than once to compare 2 vehicles.

I would’ve given 5 stars, but at the end of purchasing the vehicle I am stuck with making biweekly payments instead of monthly payments. With the vehicle I picked it wasn’t explained that I would have to make biweekly payments otherwise I would’ve selected another vehicle. I had so much trouble finding car insurance for the car, so when I was told about the payments I couldn’t just pick another vehicle. I didn’t have a choice but to keep the vehicle and I didn’t like that feeling. I should’ve stuck with the guy I originally spoke with. At least he was more knowledgeable than the guy I worked with.

The customer service from every employee was outstanding - some of the most pleasant people I’ve been around in a long time. Each and every one of them was friendly, and offered assistance in one way or another. The general manager was exceptionally attentive and helpful while the rest of the staff was obviously very busy. Overall experience was good. Salesman Matt was friendly. They got me out of there in a 2 hours. I do appreciate and value drivetime because when others said no. They said yes with little down payment. The only negative part and reason I’m giving 4/5 is because I feel like they should detail the vehicle. Add some gas if it’s empty. I know I’m not the only one because they did it to my dad. So I hope they really take this in to consideration and start washing and cleaning the cars.

Sorry but we had a bad experience, I had to find a ride to drive 2 hours to get truck, a dealership would of found someone to get it for me. Interest too high, had wrong battery in truck, they put a car battery in it. Also was told downpayment was 1200, then they jacked it to 2,000. And just wasn't experience I hoped for. Returning truck.

If you are looking for something reliable or durable. Then avoid Drive time at all costs. I have been living in car buyers Hell for the past year due to multiple failed attempts at trying to get DriveTime to fix their wrongs. My vehicle may look pretty on the outside, or at least from what you can see. Although truthfully, there’s nothing beautiful about it. The whole undercarriage of the vehicle is completely rusted out. To the point that it is like pulling teeth to find a mechanic to touch it, or let alone, put it on one of their racks. You know it’s something when Jeep says the vehicle should have been auctioned for parts. You know what DriveTime's response to them “Jeep,” and the previous mechanics, Precision Auto Tune, Precision Auto Care, AutoZone and multiple Firestones was? Repairs Denied or She reported this last year and we denied repairs.
They offered to cover the work to put on a bracket. Every time leaving me with a bill of over $1000 worth of work. In today’s economy do you think that’s really something affordable, when I’m already paying them over $500 a month. Especially for a vehicle with damages that I did not cause. The vehicle isn’t down from user wear and tear. The vehicle is falling apart from the undercarriage. So, now I’m coming to the Internet for a bigger platform. Until they make this right. I was told if I mentioned anything legal all calls must stop. No longer will they silence me. Or try and force a repossession on me. I haven’t been able to drive my vehicle over 3 miles without it quitting on me. I have toddlers, that have been in this vehicle when it stopped. Would you put your family in this?

It was my first time buying a car from a dealer. They were able to get me approved with no problems and $0 down for a 2021 Toyota Corolla. Customer Service was amazing. Everyone there is so nice and genuinely happy to help you. This place is such a vibe! I was helped by Jeff who was training but very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. BUYERS BEWARE. Don’t I repeat DON'T buy from Drivetime. They get you with the fine print and what you sign on the loan application. They are a horrible company to buy a car at. They can demand you to provide documentation at any point and only give you 24 hrs to do so. Or they make you return the vehicle, but they put it as repo on you as you’re at fault. Then when they refund you your down payment you have to pay $1 for every mile if it’s sales for enough at auto auction. Then they say you owe the rest. They don’t call. They email about the needed documents. They don’t try and help at all. I’m pretty sure they are scamming people like this daily. Management doesn’t help nor care. So $1400 down the drain along with whatever more they say I owe after it auction off. For a car I had 11 days.

There is not much that I despise more than trying to buy a car. I have not had any good experiences doing so. I went to buy a vehicle one time and was at the dealership for over 8 hours. This experience was so much better. I provided all my information, which was reviewed prior to going to the dealership. I was given a choice of any vehicle on the lot and told what my down payment would be for each vehicle. I went to the dealership, picked out the vehicle, test drove it and signed all paperwork, all within 1.5 hours. Easiest and least stressful car purchasing event I’ve ever had!!!

My husband went to DriveTime to get a car. Initially, the sales rep Bryan was super nice and kind and made my husband feel comfortable. My husband tried several cars, all of which had serious issues, and right before my husband was going to leave the sales rep said "I pulled your credit and found you something." It was a beautiful car, I will admit. However, he didn't talk through all the extra things he was adding to the price, like TWO different gap insurances equaling over 5k. He also didn't tell my husband that the payments were biweekly, not monthly. You'd think that would be something you would say to you customer, don't you think? That their payments are actually twice as much as you had promised them. When I tell you I will never buy from Drivetime again, I mean it. Now I'm on the hook for a car that's twice the price because it was the only car that was decent and didn't have any problems on the test drive. Also, the price on your website isn't the price of the car. It's nearly twice that. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I was in need of a family vehicle but my credit is pretty bad right now. I thought I would try anyway so I went online and was quoted 1295 down payment. I initially worked with Ryan in Glendale. He was really nice and stuck with my down payment found what I was looking for but had to send me over to Dylan in Mesa. I was able to test drive, sign and drive off the lost in an hour.
