Multiple concerns were show from unreported damage to things that just were not noted. Zero ability for resolution return the car or keep it. This is a crazy way to do business and can't say that I would recommend or do this again. The overall cost of the car should have been addressed especially since I had to pay several hundreds of dollars to correct the damages because I liked the car. My experience would be different if cost would have came down.

I have now sold a car and purchased car via Carvana. I am totally impressed. Every aspect of the process has been simple, transparent and equitable. The car I purchased exceeded my expectations. I will not hesitate to do business with Carvana again. The 7 day refund policy eliminated the uncertainty of purchasing a car online.

Whoever is inspecting the vehicle and sending it off as everything has passed needs to have knowledge of how vehicles work. I shouldn’t be getting a vehicle paying 30,000 with clear signs there should be something fixed before putting it up for sell or giving it to a customer after the purchase. Y'all need to do a better job on inspecting the vehicles. Shouldn’t have happened with 2 cars back to back. It show y'all do 150pt inspections. Y'all need to stay true to that and actually inspect the vehicles. It’s what y'all get paid to do so do y’all’s job correctly.

Great experience. From the easy pre-qualification and easy search, all the way through the purchase process. This has been the easiest experience I have had purchasing a vehicle. The vehicle I purchased was described perfectly and even in better condition when it arrived than how it was represented online. Couldn't be happier with Carvana.com or my new Jeep! I bought the car Friday the 11th of April, 30 minutes into driving home from picking up my car in the Norfolk location I was pulled over and told my front left light was out. Then went to the garage the next day Saturday and found out the whole assembly had to be take out 1700 it would cost and a few other things that needed repairs as well. Needless to say your company gave me a 7 day return policy yet my car was in the shop the day after I bought it and I wasn't able to pick it up until the 7th day at 4:30pm so I think that was very unethical due to this was Carvana's fault.
My car was in the shop and I only was able to drive my car 4 hours and that was the day I bought the car so I'm very unhappy. After the repairs I took my car the same day to the car wash to come out the car wash and water spill all over my lap from my visor in my driver's seat. I have had this truck 7 days and nothing but problems so now my truck is needing to get fix again. This is not a convenience for my children and myself being a single parent.

I purchased my Alfa Romeo Giulia from Carvana. Overall, I'm satisfied with the experience. Mostly because I love the car. Carvana is literally just a dealer that you have no real contact with, which means if things aren't quite right, good luck getting them resolved.
1. Car arrived with a hood that wouldn't latch after opening. It ended up being a simple fix I did myself. WD40 to loosen the latches and a minor alignment adjustment. This should not have made it through inspection.
2. I took the car to the dealer (Alfa Romeo Merriam KS) and they identified all 4 brake rotors as needing to be replaced (heavily grooved). The front pads were at 5mm, which meets Carvana's inspection, but the rear pads were 0mm and 1mm, which does not. After dealing with them about the hood, I've just been sorting this out myself. It's not going to be cheap though. A full set of rotors and pads are ~$3000 for this Alfa.
3. Carvana has ALWAYS missed the first appointment. Once for my purchase. Once for my sale of my existing car. I've heard from others that this happened with them as well.
Recommendations
1. Refuse the car if you don't like the condition for any reason.2. Take the car to a licensed mechanic or dealer to get it inspected within your 7 day return window. If anything comes up, you can return it if they won't make good on it.
3. Do your research and be prepared to put some money into a used car. This is with any service, dealer, or individual sale.

I bought a 2022 Chrysler Voyager from Carvana. The tires were bald, not enough tread to pass inspection. It had a plastic shroud of some sort hanging down, had to put it in the shop right after I picked it up so my confidence in their checking the vehicle over is none and because I arrived early for my pickup I had to wait two hours to get my vehicle because my advocate wasn't there yet and nobody else could help me even though my vehicle was on the ground already. Needless to say I will not buy from carvana twice. I do love the van though

I was notified 20 minutes before my appointment that my car would not be ready on time. Then when I got there an hour later it still wasn’t ready. You could tell someone rushed through a cleaning real quick one they put it up in the tower. I wish there had been a better picture of the bubbled rear window tint that will need to be replaced or taken off since it is as if you are looking through water every time you look behind you. Also picture of key fob showed a nice one but the other fob is solid black where all of the writing has wore off (again no picture of this).
When I got it home to use the fob with visible symbols on it that was dead so I had to replace the battery for it to even unlock. Car also does not have a spot for a front license plate that is required in my state so I guess I’ll figure that out. I would have thought a temp tag should have gone up there too. Lots of little disappointments that could have probably could have been avoided with a little more attention to detail.

Another amazing experience with Carvana! This is the second car we’ve purchased with Carvana. We wouldn’t buy any other way 😊. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest. The driver was prompt, communicative and treated my new car like it was his 💙… Impeccable service. The prices are more than just fair, they are unbeatable! Buying from Carvana is not worth the convenience of shopping from home. The first vehicle we purchased was delivered dead on arrival and with far more damage than was described. After being sent back to repair what ever was wrong with it, our re-delivery date kept getting pushed back which caused an inconvenience because we both have to take the day off to sign when it arrives. That purchase was ultimately cancelled and another vehicle was purchased. Then the nightmare with that one began. We requested that the tag from the vehicle we traded in be assigned to the vehicle we purchased.
We live in Florida so I know it is permitted. The tag from the Kia was a specialty tag and sequential to the tag on our other vehicle so we wanted to keep it. Surprise, a new tag was assigned and now I have to deal with the DMV. Carvana is a crap shoot, you may get lucky but more than likely the hassle and run around won't be worth it. I won't make the same mistake again and suggest every else avoid them as well.

They don't take it off the truck until you sign. Immediately I was missing a charger (it's a Tesla and it was in the photos). They tried to tell me to deal with warranty. I am still trying to resolve this. FURTHERMORE, a trim piece for whatever reason was incorrect and I was PROMISED this would be resolved if I kept the car. Upon Tesla installing the part, they showed where bodywork was done incorrectly and I have chipping clear coat. Carvana will not repair it. Both Tesla and the Tesla-approved local body shop believe Carvana did some repairs before sale, as they even pulled some masking tape off the car.
I would have returned it, but I was promised this would be fixed and the first appointment Tesla had was just outside of the return window. I trusted Tamara when she promised they would fix this. They just pass it off to "warranty" (also their company), who tells you to get bent. Don't trust them. They won't drive you happy. They are selling my trade at a $10K markup, and can't even get this fixed at a shop of their choice. I have tried to work with them but apparently lawyers and telling this tale to my 300K social media followers is what they would prefer. Beyond disappointed.

Buying a vehicle has never been so easy. No car lots, no haggling all day. Carvana gave us a week to drive the jeep to see if we liked it. The initial buying was done and approved within maybe an hour, 2 phone calls later everything was set. They brought the jeep to us. It was such a great experience. I will never buy a vehicle any other way. I was very impressed.

I have purchased three cars from them and I can say will never do again. I purchased a Cadillac from them with low miles and it turned out to be a Lemon. I’ve only driven 1,000 miles and it feels likes it’s falling apart. Horrible clunking sounds, transmission slipping, check engine light and they won’t help. I previously put a claim they Silver Rock and the mechanic that came out told me it was all normal. What the heck is normal about the car idling erratically and losing power. Customer service is a joke and won’t even help, I hated going to dealerships because it gives me severe anxiety, but this is worse. I’ve learned my lesson and will never buy from them again.

My order was scheduled for pick up with a two weeks notice. The day before pick up, I received a email stating there was a delay in my order. Upon pick of my vehicle, they informed me there was a crack in my window that happened during transportation. They said I could call customer service and they would help me get it replaced. When I called, they said there was nothing they can do about it seeing how it was not in the drivers view. Also on pick up I inspected the vehicle and noticed a tail light out. They could not fix it because don’t have a mechanic. I drove 4 1/2 hours to pick this vehicle up so that means I had to drive the vehicle 4 1/2 hours back with no tail light.
They said the warranty department could take care of it for me but when I called them, they said I would have to make a complaint through the app. The closest place to me to Take care of this issue was over three hours away. This whole process has been an inconvenience. I’ve had to spend more money in this vehicle when purchasing it. Everything should’ve been taken care of within a two weeks of notice of me purchasing. This whole process has been an inconvenience. I will not be purchasing another vehicle through Carvana again. I recommend saving yourself time and a headache by going elsewhere.

My entire experience was great! The online viewing, financing to pick up of my car, all went well. I'd definitely recommend Carvana to a friend and use them again if I have to. My seven days trial made was also great. While driving my Nissan Rogue around for those seven days I felt assuredly if I didn't like the car I'd just return it. But it all worked out.

Everything was great and very easy. The only thing I'd say if I had to pick things apart was the detailing of the car was a bit weak. There were crumbs in the cupholder (ew) and it was missing an air valve cover on a tire. The windshield also took a ton of scrubbing with residual from an old registration. All easy fixes though. Delivery guy was awesome and the whole process very straightforward.

Frustrating Experience with CARVANA’s Military-Unfriendly Policy. I’ve spent the last two weeks trying to purchase a vehicle through CARVANA, and it’s been nothing but frustration and wasted time. As an Active Duty military member temporarily stationed in Mississippi, I went through the full ordering process—only to be told I needed a Mississippi driver’s license to proceed. I explained repeatedly that I’m only here on military orders, and that by law, I’m not required to change my license or home of record.
Despite that, CARVANA’s rigid policy insisted on a state license. I tried to cancel, but then another rep would call, saying they could work it out. That led me to start the process all over again—several times—each time with the hope that it would finally work. Meanwhile, a substantial down payment was pending the entire time. Every time I canceled, I was told it would take 3–5 business days for my refund. That money could have gone toward a local purchase with less hassle and more respect for my military status. Mississippi law only requires that I show my orders—not change my license—and yet CARVANA wouldn’t budge.
At this point, I feel like I’ve been tricked and led along just to prolong the process and tie up my money. It’s incredibly disappointing. CARVANA’s policies seem out of touch with military life, and the runaround I experienced made it clear that convenience is only a selling point when everything goes perfectly. For those serving on orders out of state—look elsewhere.

We picked car up early in am after 4 hr drive, it was clear the car had never been detailed, swept or wiped down. I have all pics to refer. I spoke to someone about this issue and they offered 100$. I took to detail shop and spent 275$ for the inside. Again, I can send pics for proof.

The last two cars I purchased were from dealers, and I got taken on both accounts, so I came back to Carvana. Between me and my wife we have now purchased 9 vehicles from Carvana and I couldn't be happier. I will also state for the record, they are a pleasure to work with on trade-ins that are still on loan. Unless I one day go out and buy a brand new model, I am never purchasing outside of Carvana again.

I am going to write a story. On April 26th, after much consideration, I decided on a vehicle and started the process to purchase online. I chose my vehicle and was asked to upload documents after reviewing the financial agreement. a down payment of 1400 was required in addition to a 190-delivery fee. I started submitting docs through the portal and was asked to upload 2 years of tax return docs. I only had the most recent because I didn't work 2023. My income is nontaxable.
I contacted Carvana and tried to explain and they insisted on requiring the 2 years. I immediately asked them to cancel the order. This all happened within a span of 45 minutes. The order was cancelled, and I moved onto other options of purchasing a vehicle online. Now mind you, within the first 10 minutes of starting the financial agreement docs, Carvana had withdrew the 1400 for the down payment and 190 for the delivery fee. It is now 20 days later and counting... I have not been refunded those fees.
I contacted them today. I was told their automated system never started the refund process and they had to submit a ticket. The ticket is so that a real human being can begin my refund process. The review of the ticket and it being accepted by someone to being processing will take 24-48 hours. THEN my refund will take an additional 5-7 days. UNACCEPTABLE!!
If I had to make a car payment to Carvana and I was, let's see, add up all the time in taking, processing, and returning my refund, approximately 30 days for them to receive my car payment. Would I not be charged interest? Would there not be a penalty? Well businesses like Carvana should be handled the same way. We deserve the same interest in our payments as they would receive from ours. I AM 100% DISAPPOINTED in this WHOLE EXPERIENCE with Carvana. NOW I have to wait another week to finish buying a vehicle I HAVE been approved for because I need the down payment to complete my purchase.
For anyone considering Carvana, be aware—if your order is canceled, you may be waiting weeks for your refund, even when the cancellation happens in minutes. This experience has delayed my ability to purchase a vehicle elsewhere, and it shows how little urgency Carvana places on returning customers’ money. Disappointed isn’t a strong enough word for what I feel right now.

The entire transaction was very easy. Didn’t plan on buying a car but was forced into it. Very quick process. The only issue I have is the car was optioned with blind spot sensors and the car doesn’t have it equipped. I’ve called and reported this but have not heard anything back as of yet. I’m curious to see how this is addressed. I have worked for your competitor for five years and I know what we’d do in similar circumstances, so I’m curious to see how Carvana handles it.

VIN: **. We bought a Tesla which had a power cord with adapters pictured on the Carvana site. When the car arrived, there was no wall power cord and no way for us to charge the vehicle. This was noted by the employee dropping off the car and told us Carvana would be in contact to follow up. We took possession of the vehicle on a Sunday and weren’t told until Friday that we would be provided with a credit of $210 for purchasing a new wall power cord. This amount however does NOT cover the cost of a Tesla power cord and adapters.
We found a similar bag and wall cord for $325 but Carvana is refusing to provide us with a power cord to charge the vehicle and not willing to give us the appropriate amount to purchase the power cord/charger that was pictured in the for sale add. This is unacceptable that we bought a np electric vehicle that didn’t come with a charging cord and now we’re not being reimbursed for the appropriate amount. Images attached are from the Carvana website. Bag with charging cord was never delivered.

The car buying process was easy, but that was the end of “easy” with Carvana. First our car was delayed, the day it was supposed to be delivered. We received no warning till the day of and we had already had to schedule work off that day. Furthermore, the car was then delayed a whole week. We finally got the car and the next day noticed a reflector was broken on the rear bumper and the key fob was completely dead (we bought a new battery the day of receiving the car as well).
I then had to schedule through silver rock to get a new fob, your customer service is the least useful group I’ve had to deal with. Multiple conversations with queued prompts that led to frustrating conversations. I was being quoted 350$ for a new fob and your customer service basically told me to “work with the dealer to see what they could do”, I’ve had it less than a week, you should have been jumping through hoops to make sure I was satisfied and Carvana did not. I finally got a hold of silver rock folks and they waived it for me in the end. I shouldn’t have had to do all that. Overall, I like my car, but I’m never buying from Carvana again. Terrible customer service and terrible awareness throughout the whole process.

I would agree with all the negative reviews that Carvana is not just a big SCAM!! From the moment, I got my car the warning lights are always on, they go away but there still there and I feel like an idiot for selling my paid off car because I had no other choice and keeping this dumpster bucket was a regret I will have to live with until I can get another car!! I feel like it was a lemon from the first day but car dealers know how to let it pass the checks and the Car fax reports never mentioned any of the issues I’m dealing with!! As with everyone else, if your looking for a car go elsewhere and save yourself tons of money that will have to be spend on repairs!!

The 150 point inspection: my brakes were squeaking on day 1, vehicle had significantly more chipped paint (appeared to be fresh..maybe during transportation?) that was not pictured in the photos, + back taillight had moisture leaking into the inside of the light. Took the vehicle to one of their in-network mechanics + they said the rotors were unsafe to drive on + needed to be replaced. They said standard practice was to replace the brake pads too so they correctly fit on rotors. Carvana agreed to pay for the rotors + taillight, but not the brake pads.
Registration: I communicated to Carvana that I wanted to keep my previous plates+the delivery guy handed them to me before taking off. Was given a window of time for registration to be completed, but was given no notice about when I could put my plates on. Called Carvana, the rep said they didn’t note I wanted to keep my old plates, so issued me new plates, but they were never delivered. Tracking number said it was delivered but only showed a zip code…my correct address was on file but they sent it “somewhere.” I asked what could be done + they said they could send me a duplicate set. WHY would I want duplicate plates? Where did the first ones go? And WHO has those?
Then she said I could go to the DMV to try to register my new vehicle under my old plates….1) Carvana already charged me for new plates, 2) how was I supposed to communicate this mess of a situation that CARVANA caused, 3) I don’t want some rando having the same plate number as me that would be traced back to ME..what a MESS. Best she could do was escalate to the resolution department.
Carvana as a company did a terrible job. Luckily I did my research + looked at the Carfax report, which showed the previous owner took really good care of the vehicle. That was my saving grace. I also appreciated how much Carvana offered for my previous vehicle. But in summary: their crew did a bad job on the brakes (one of the few things they needed to fix before selling me the vehicle), chipped the paint in several areas when transporting the vehicle, missed the cracked taillight, + totally screwed me over with the registration (I still have no plates+ no resolution).

I feel deceived at the end of what seemed like a transparent process. There were chips on the windshield cleverly concealed by staff who prepared my car for delivery. I checked the vehicle but it didn't occur to me to remove the stickers. I asked the driver, "Are there any steps that I am missing in checking the vehicle?" and he could have suggested to take off the stickers but they obviously were concealing imperfections. I researched this tactic and saw that this a common practice by Carvana. In fact, many customers have attempted to sue and in vain were only able to submit complaints to the Better Business Bureau.
After talking to Carvana both via chat and by phone, I was told that my only recourse was to return the car and get a new one since I was still within the 7 day return policy. Carvana could have remedied this deceptive practice by fixing the cost of the chipped glass that happened on their watch but they decided to deceive their customers despite promising the contrary.

The overall buying experience was pretty seamless from ordering online to confirming my personal information to approval. Delivery experience wasn’t so great had to wait an extra 2 days but I was accommodated for travel to the delivery. When they delivered the vehicle I noticed a small nick in the paint on the door that wasn’t any of the marks shown online. It looked new as if it had just happened during the process of getting the vehicle delivered. I submitted a claim even though the delivery driver told me she would put it in for the vehicle and she never did.

The buying process was the easiest I have experienced, and I think this was the 18th car I have purchased. The only hiccup I had was with the insurance proof - when I added the card my current policy expired about a week before the required 30-day in-force date required so I had to wait a day or two before that vehicle showed up on policy renewal id cards.

What an amazing experience! After purchasing a car from Vroom and now a car from Carvana the difference was night and day! Everyone was very friendly. Delivery was right on time. The car is so clean and better than described. There was a small tear in the leather of the drivers seat that wasn't noted in the pictures and they approved a claim for replacement. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience from start to finish.

Showed up on time for our appointment to pick up car. Appointment area was crowded with no check in system. Waited 45 minutes past our assigned appointment time before an associate helped us. After that everything went smoothly. Disappointed that car came with a cheap aftermarket charger. Had to purchase another to charge car sufficiently.

I had a good experience using Carvana for the first time. I recommend it to friends and family. The underwriting department gave me the only static I experienced. Other than that, it was a smooth process. My favorite part was the seamless delivery to my house. I know what to expect now from underwriting so I'll be more prepared next time. Second purchase through Carvana, not a great one this time. Car we purchased only had a few paint chips listed as imperfections. At delivery we let the rep know about 3 dents, a nasty interior spray painted wheels and several windshield chips, I should have walked away in a bund and needed to get a car for one that was totaled. He said customer service handles any undocumented damage. I thought that meant someone would reach out. 4 days go by nothing, paid to have car detailed. Called customer service.
They state only 3 days left to take care of this. He gave me authorized repair location almost an hour away. Contacted them. They said they would need the car for at least 3 days. We bought because we needed a car, not sitting in a service facility. Our 1st carrot carvana also had damage but we were able to take to a local body shop who ordered thr parts and fixed in one day. Seems like this time it was harder on purpose so we ran out of time and couldn't do anything about it. Caravana got me this time but never again.

The process itself was actually ok, but the truck showed up with a large dent on the rear passenger side that was not disclosed in the sales process. I accepted the vehicle based on an assumption and driver confirmation, that Carvana would make this right as it was clearly an oversight based on how detailed they were with any other imperfections the truck had. Keep in mind this is a 2024, basically new $66k vehicle, with barely over 1000 miles on it. BUYER BEWARE - they do not fully disclose issues and when it arrives you roll the dice if they will fix it, which in my case they denied with absolutely no justification. They also wait to deny your claim until your 7 day return policy has expired. I will not consider Carvana for any further purchases. If this was not intentional, they would make it right, which tells me all I need to know about this company.

This was my second vehicle purchase from Carvana. My first purchase was awesome; this time not so much. I do like the car I purchased, but it was not exactly what I expected. Firstly, there was significant cosmetic damage that was not disclosed prior to purchase. Secondly, I have had this car for less than a week, and I just spent $1300 repairing it. I attempted to file a claim with Carvana/SilverRock, but they claimed the repairs necessary would be covered by the Subaru powertrain warranty. Because the repairs were required due to prior accident/collision repair (the collision history was listed on Carfax) Subaru would not cover any of the repairs under warranty.
I know things happen, but there was obvious audible noise coming from front tire area that should have been addressed prior to listing this vehicle for sale. While I acknowledge that I likely could have refused the vehicle during my 7 day window, I feel like that is a flimsy excuse for failing to fully document glaring cosmetic flaws, as well as selling a two year old vehicle with 4 bad tires and a faulty wheel bearing.

Initially, the purchase of my 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK 300 Roadster convertible was suprisingly easy. Found my car online on a Suturday. Pick-up was scheduled for the following Tuesday, Monday, I recieve a text that shipping had caused a delay of 10 days. Ok, not that big a deal. I finaly go pick up the car. It is beautiful just as advertised! Or so I thought. I get behind the wheel and drive away.
As soon as I accelerate, car starts cutting out. I take it to a local national branded shop that is within their network. They tell me that it needs a new intake manifold. I go through the process with their warranty company. Repair is completed at no cost to me. I bring the car home, after 8 days in the shop. Now it is leaking oil all over my driveway and garage. I take the car back to same repair facility. I tell them it still is cutting out, feels like it won't shift from first to second gear. They keep the car for 2 more days. I pick it up now the 7 day return (and $0 copay period) has expired. They tell me I have a $100 copay.
The Carvana inspection crew did not replace crush washer on drain plug. They simply put a second one on, so once oil got warm, started leaking. Had the car another week. Still was not shifting right. I took it into a specifically transmission shop (now I am out of network) they tell me I was right, it needs a new transmission. They have had the car now 9 days. Today I received a call, warranty company approved the repair with a $350 copay. Today is Wednesday, I was told that the transmission should be in on Monday, at latest I get car back next Thursday. This was a HUGE MISTAKE. Anything that seems too good to be true.... Never again!

Complete Disaster – Incompetent, Unprofessional, and Costly Mistake by Carvana. I’ve had one of the worst car-buying experiences of my life with Carvana. What was marketed as a seamless and modern way to buy a car turned into over three months of stress, financial loss, and sheer incompetence. After purchasing a vehicle, I was left completely in the dark regarding the registration process. I couldn’t legally drive the car for over 90 days, during which I received little to no communication, only empty reassurances from different representatives who clearly had no grasp on my situation. The delays cost me lost income, as I depend on having a vehicle for work. Carvana’s lack of professionalism and urgency has real consequences for their customers, and they clearly don’t care.
And just when I thought the ordeal was coming to an end — they finally sent the registration, but somehow managed to register my vehicle as a semi-truck/trailer. Yes, you read that right. A standard passenger vehicle was registered as a commercial truck. This kind of mistake is not only unbelievable but downright negligent. It’s insulting to go through months of delay, only to be handed a registration that makes the vehicle unusable again.
Carvana has completely failed to deliver on even the most basic responsibilities of a car dealer. Their processes are broken, their customer service is disorganized, and their mistakes have directly cost me time, money, and peace of mind. I strongly urge anyone considering Carvana to think twice. This company is not ready to handle something as important as your transportation needs.

I thought the pictures online did a fair job of capturing the car accurately. However, there were a few more dings/imperfections than those that I could see online. The car was also very dirty/dusty and smelled of cigarettes. Overall I love it, but I just wish it had come a little more clean. Carvana has agreed to cover the fix on one of the imperfections, a missing patch of the window tint. I really appreciate that.

Looked like a 5 year old cleaned it. They offered me $100 towards a detail which I have yet to get a check. Also took the car to my mechanic and he found an exhaust leak before the 7 days. What a project to try to get stuff fixed. How do you sell cars that look like crap when you give to customer plus mechanically not sound. Will not buy again. That’s the truth.

The car is fine. However, the service was horrendous. The verification department created so many unnecessary hurdles, that I had to reorder the same car 6 times. It was ridiculous. I had my finance company on the phone and they verified the funds, despite the check being received a week in advance (there was tracking) and a copy of the front and back of the check was in their possession and that still was not sufficient. I live in a state that the tags says non-transferable on the registration because a car gets transferred by the title not the registration.
The verification department tells me that’s not acceptable, to the point that I went to the DMV and a manager got on the phone to tell them the same thing. I had a free and clear title and they still said that wasn’t sufficient. I do not recommend Carvana for this and many other reason. Had I not received the best trade price on my Tesla, which arguably is a better car than the ETron I bought, technology wise, I would not have stuck with Carvana. I’ll stick to merely selling my cars with this company but NEVER will I subject myself to buying with them again.

For the most part, the purchase and delivery of my car was perfect. Very easy process, no haggling and straightforward. The only issue is that after putting my down payment on my credit card (the only transaction I have used that card for in months) my card was hacked and received multiple $160 charges to Intuit software. It was caught by my credit card company, but I had to have the card replaced. I don't have proof that this was directly tied to the Carvana purchase but seeing as that card is never used the timing is suspicious and I think the online and physical security practices of user data should be reviewed.

Completed the online purchase process and set a date for delivery. On delivery day I received an email and call stating they found issues with the car and move the shipment date out a week. Finally received the car and found the hood, roof and both rear quarter panels had been poorly painted. Overspray was everywhere and the paint was running. No explanation give for this but still wanted the same price. Shady business practice so I requested a return.

Carvana buying experience was hands down great experience. With a pretty major exemption missing a rear suspension that’s functional. F150 had at some point installed an after market air lift. Which is awesome if for the fact that lack of module that controls compressor and all wires cut to compressor. This 100% should have been caught but point inspection. Very dangerous and potentially catastrophic damage done to rear end of truck. After calling carvana and warranty being down. To find out I personally have to pay a deductible for a major safety issue that could have put others or myself at risk. Carvana says I’m sol on deductible, unfortunately for Carvana this will be escalated to attorney generals desk. You can not sell vehicles with safety issues to a consumer. This is my 2nd vehicle and I know Carvana didn’t do the damage however inspection should have caught this and remedy done prior to delivery.

This is my 2nd purchase with Carvana and it has not been good. My car was damaged during transport and there were a few issues that happened PRE-DELIVERY were not corrected as promised. To make things worse the car wasn't detailed when it was delivered to me and that wasn't by transport, it was driven to my home which added additional miles that wasn't compensated to reflect the 7 day warranty. I see the negative reviews about Carvana and I didn't agree with them as my 1st purchase was flawless. Not this time around.

The vehicle has been undrivable and in the dealership since I received the truck. The main dash cluster for speed and other synoptics has been intermittently blanking out and unsafe. I have contacted your team and opened a case and was told to take it to one of the maintenance repair facilities and they told me to take it to the dealership as it is under factory warranty. The part is on backorder until May 23 and the vehicle will sit until it is repaired. Totally unacceptable.

I had seen the commercials, but I never knew anyone that actually used Carvana. At first I was a little hesitant because I was not sure of how the process went. However, after looking through their inventory and finding a car that I wanted, the process was very smooth and efficient. I don’t have the best of credit right now, but Carvana was able to get me approved for thousands of vehicles, most of which are newer used vehicles with lower mileage. After I found the car that I wanted, I was able to get through the paperwork with ease and picked up my car from a local Carvana location two days after approval. They give you a seven day exchange or money back guarantee period which is a plus. During that period I was able to drive the car and also see how it would fit into my life. I was not satisfied with the car after test driving it and wanted to make a switch.
Switching vehicles was just as easy, if not easier, then going through the purchase process the first time. During the exchange, I was able to find a newer year vehicle with even less miles on it. The vehicle was practically brand new. Now I have a vehicle that I love. When it comes to cars, get the gap insurance (something I wish I knew a few cars ago) and the extended warranty. After seeing how easy the process was, my mom also bought a car from them. Overall, if you are looking for a used car with guarantee behind the name, I would recommend Carvana because with them you can shop with confidence.

I was super excited getting the vehicle I’ve been wanting for a while now. The purchase process was great. I was satisfied with the amount of the vehicle and everything. Unfortunately on day 7 after getting the vehicle, was when I started having issues with the vehicle, because the vehicle is considered luxury. Which means pricier. I anticipated on having maintenance issues down the line, but not within 7 days. That’s crazy! Unfortunately, I wasn’t in a position at the time to do a diagnostic test at the dealership (which was $300) might I add. So I drove about an hour away to another dealership that was more my price range just to hear that the vehicle needs a new battery and some electrical work done. Another unfortunate thing is the warranty expired before I purchased the vehicle. So I’m having to pay everything out of pocket and I haven’t even had the vehicle two weeks yet… Smh.

A little disappointed with the purchase off the back my brakes and discs are horrible. My car shakes when stepping on the brakes, not sure how it’s even legal to sell a car with bad brakes. There’s a jerk in the car which is probably the motor mounts that will need to be replaced as well. The 100 day warranty requires a $100 fee if they even will cover the parts and labor. Repairs I don’t want to deal with when I just purchased a vehicle.

Purchased a car from Carvana in March of 2025. Took delivery and drove home. Upon further inspection I noticed that one of the tires had a 3-inch hole on the sidewall and a large gash and dent in the rim, damage to the front fender as well as a damaged hood latch. Issues that Carvana missed during pre-sale inspection or maybe worse just simply ignored. The detail job they did was pretty crappy too and the car smelled like cigarettes and cheap air freshener. Figured it wouldn't be a big deal to reach out and get at least a new tire due to the clear (according to their customer service team and Firestone) safety issue. Wasn't as concerned about the latch or the rim but tires are $500 and this one was not due to normal wear.
The people there were very nice and advised that I call the insurance company that they contract with Silver Rock. They were nice as well but that's where the positive experience ended. I have now had the case opened and closed three times and each time with this is not covered from both Silver Rock and finally today also from Carvana. Had the tire blown out and caused an accident this would have been a serious lawsuit given that Carvana was negligent in their inspection and someone could easily have been hurt.
The right thing to do would have been to simply replace the tire. Instead, I spent at least 10 phone calls and several hours on the phone being reassured they would take care of it. Not once did either company keep me updated. Every time I had to follow up. In the end both Carvana and Silver Rock are just like many other big businesses. Luckily it is a minor issue as the rest of the car is in good shape. As a consumer I feel like they really missed the boat on customer service. In the end I am out about $1,000 but the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. With all the buying options I would not use Carvana again. Had this been a more significant issue I feel like the results would have been the same.

Lesson learned. After spending $1,200 for a vehicle advertised to be under manufacturer warranty to be shipped and delivered, it lasted three days before failing to start. Actually, a claim was submitted ON DELIEVER DAY with a faulty radio. This means Carvana took my money to ship and deliver a vehicle they knew was fault. My small child and I were left stranded in the parking lot needing a jump. I took it to the SilverRock approved repair shop for a diagnostic. SilverRock then said it needed to go to the Jeep dealership for any diagnostics or repairs since it is still under warranty. The dealership then found multiple irreparable damages. I'm definitely feeling scammed. Please do better by your customers, especially when taking a risk in this economy.

Carvana's 150 point inspection should be taken with a grain of salt. You wouldn't expect a 2016 Equinox with less than 39K miles (at purchase) to have any major issues. The problem starting when during a March warm spell my wife informed me that the AC didn't work. No big deal so I thought, since I'm a vehicle tech for a government agency, I'll check it out.
Freon low? It wouldn't take a charge, nor was I able to command the AC compressor to come on through my scan tool. Found AC compressor fuse blown. Replaced fuse blown. Blows again. Serious problem. On inspection when I pulled the vehicle into my personal shop that there was a rats nest of cobbled wiring that feeds (1) the CV clutch on the compressor, (2) AC freon pressure switch, (3) AC compressor clutch, (4) alternator field wiring that is crucial to make sure the alternator gets the proper feedback to charge the battery, (5) broken connector to the CKP (crankshaft position sensor) and (6) the fan wiring had been spliced with a aftermarket replacement connector and someone had used wire nuts to make the connections.
The reason behind the mess is only a guess? Chewed on by an animal kicked up road debris who knows. Numbers 1-5 connectors had been replaced, but instead of being properly soldered and heat-shrink protection, the wiring was just twisted together and taped with non-automotive electrically tape not made for the automotive environment. Luckily the wire colors matched the terminal pins correctly, but that's the only good thing. Upon removing that section of harness to do the repairs on the topside I had to disconnect the starter solenoid wire and found the starter was loose!! It was held in by one bolt on the bottom. The top bolt was missing!
Found the AC compressor clutch itself is shorted. I measured less than half an ohm which is basically a dead short. I was able to correctly repair the wiring back to its original configuration. I had to replace the crank sensor connector since it was broken and would not lock into the tab on the sensor itself. Thankfully my local Pick and Pull had the connector I needed, plus a bolt for the starter that was missing and the factory correct fan wiring.
Even though we bought the vehicle in January after my wife's 2015 Equinox was t-boned when a girl blew through a stop sign, the inspection should have caught this and had it repaired before the vehicle was offered for sale. My best guess is that they knew this and chose to ignore it. Buyer beware. Do your due diligence and inspect everything that you can and make sure everything works. Other than that, so far, no other issues. I have uploaded all relevant pictures, the last pic shows how the wiring should look, as factory.

I've been on this earth for 43 years, purchased 13 cars and 7 motorcycles. Last week I decided to try Carvana for the first time and it was hands down the worst car buying experience I've ever had. They shipped a car to me that had an obvious problem, it was clear to me that the vehicle had not been inspected thoroughly before it was sold to me. After opening up a complaint they told me I needed to take it to a mechanic in their network so they could work with their partner "Silverrock Insurance".
After scheduling time in my day to find a mechanic and then scheduling time a different day to drive the car to the mechanic, I received a call the same day informing me that "Silverrock" would not cover the car and that it needed to be taken in to a dealership. After extensive chats with multiple customer service agents to try to find out what this process would be like I started calling dealerships to see who would work with this silverrock insurance. I could not get in touch with anyone anywhere and my 7 day return window is running out. I went back to customer service and they were just zero help all around. One rep even reprimanded me for asking too many questions at once..
All in all I wasted 2 full days of my time testing this car and running it around trying to fix it only to have Carvana's insurance company refuse to pay the mechanic $800 to fix it and instead have me bring it to a dealership to wait god knows how long for it to be fixed, which I refused and instead opted to return the car. Once I did I was back on with Carvana customer service who were again supremely unhelpful. The only thing I asked of them this time is that when their tech came to pick up the car that they please text me instead of call since I'm frequently on the phone for work. They refused.
After all of the hassle this garbage company put me through they refused even the most minor thing they could possible do to help me out. I would not buy from them again. This is a garbage company, with garbage partners and garbage customer service. I will recommend loudly that people steer clear of this company until my dying breath. I'm genuinely surprised they have as many positive reviews as they do.

I purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. My appointment did not start on time. Once I brought the car home, the electric charger did not work. I called your warranty service and they were gouging me to locations that only handled gas vehicles and no one in network could address my issue. The 100 day warranty is useless for an EV owner. I went to a Chevrolet dealer, but couldn’t obtain the charger until after the 7 day return window. The floor mats that came with the car are mismatched. I was told I would receive my refund but it has not been sent back to me after all this time. The chargers and mats should have been dealt with before the car was given to me.

I got my first car from them and was told, "Sorry the windshield and headlight are cracked." Someone must have not wanted to get in trouble. Then to trade it in I had to drive to Schaumburg. They called me at 515 to tell me my appointment had been rescheduled for a third time because there was something wrong with the new car. I was 45 minutes into the hour drive at that point.
I was told I’d get a Starbucks gift card which instead upon arriving I was handed a drill to get my old license plate off. Then the issue with the car wasn’t repaired or fixed in any regard. So I had to drive my second Carvana car directly to the shop where it has been getting fixed since I got it. So then the shop called to let me know it’s gonna take even longer because the charging cord in my trunk that Carvana gave me is the wrong type for Teslas. Absolutely just everything you could possibly do to never have a repeat customer. I will never even look at a single car on their site again. I’m going to pay off my loan, boost my credit and will not be purchasing a car I can’t drive first ever again and seriously don’t recommend this to anyone in any situation.

Purchased my car about 7 weeks ago and it's been in the shop for 6 of those 7 weeks costing my nearly $2000 in Uber fees and rental cars. Nothing they can really do except sell me another car where I would be upside down on the trade in costing me even more money. I'm a repeat customer of Carvana but will be going back to buying from local dealerships instead.

This is the first time I ever purchased a car online and the experience was amazing. Quick and easy application and the customer service was courteous and professional. I would recommend Carvana to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle. The car arrived exactly on the day and time specified. The driver unloaded the car and then I went over the vehicle to inspect it. He told me about the 7 day return policy and that the vehicle can not be driven more than 400 miles if I wanted to return it

We bought our first Tesla and our delivery guys were amazing. Patrick was super helpful as well. This is my second purchase and it was amazing as always this time was. The selecting and purchasing process was easy, with minimal time required. In fact, I was rather surprised and impressed. Up to this point, I’ve wasted countless hours at dealerships. Now, the car buying experience has changed. I will use Carvana again. Buying a car is a frustrating experience, and most dealers are dishonest and pushy. Carvana was straightforward and simple.

Overall: Pros: Price transparency. Ease of trade in. Ease of buying a car. Cons: Overpriced for local market value. No state inspection/emissions if required by your state. Possible delays aren't relayed until day of delivery. Ordering Process: Created an account. Researched available cars and compared price/delivery fees (all upfront pricing). Found exact car needed along with Car Fax. Pre-approved financing available and quick verification process. Full loan details and fees laid out before order is placed
Order Placed Process: Upload required documents such as insurance, driver's license, registration info. Insurance required before delivery can be confirmed…weird rule. Insurance update required within 24hrs, but mine was delayed a day. Missed initial delivery date due to insurance going into effect the following week (Not a Carvana issue). Online Notary was about 10 minutes for wait and the verification process. After all documents were signed and approved delivery was confirmed
Delivery Process: Multiple confirmations that delivery was all set and car was at nearby facility. Morning of delivery was told via call, text, and email that due to a delay it would be scheduled for the following Monday…no details except that if there are further delays we will let you know. Monday arrived and driver called when they were leaving Carvana facility…arrived between 5-8pm window at about 6:45pm. Transfer process was quick….signed an odometer update paper and registration, test drove new car while driver loaded trade in, got back and that was it
Inspection Process: Scheduled mechanic look through for following day. Found a few wearable issues: Rear brake pads were installed incorrectly and were wearing uneven (previous owner issue not Carvana). Rear rotors pretty worn and may need replaced. Rear tire tread pretty worn. Front brakes and tires looked good (newer winter tires). Both control arms need replaced. Carvana warranty submitted and approved same day, just had to pay for inspection

Front brakes needed replaced soon as I got it delivered. Also was not informed about the many cosmetic issues. Damaged I was only informed about a few scratches paying way more than the truck is worth you'd expect it to not have all these issues. Brakes. Damaged headliner. Driver door and tailgate painted arctic white while the rest of the truck is Oxford white, very very noticeable difference, it's the xl and I'm paying for best model basically. Would not recommend Carvana to anyone.

While I will say, my purchase was approved within a couple of days, much faster than a traditional dealership, the experience has not been the simple, seamless one they market. To start, there was a lot of back-and-forth between Carvana and my insurance company (Carvana sending incorrect or incomplete documents to my insurance, etc., resulting in me having to make several phone calls to one business or another over a period of hours to ensure everything was properly communicated).
Finally, the day of delivery arrived. The gentleman was very professional, he called me ahead of time and handled all the paperwork (although I couldn't figure out why he didn't know if we were transferring my plates, since I had already been over that with customer service). Shortly after he left, I hopped in my new car to take it for a wash (since it showed up detailed on the inside but filthy on the outside, complete with some kind of nail polish-like markings on the rear window), and I immediately noticed something was not right.
To start, the "Oil Change Required" alert came on, followed by the "Washer Fluid Low" alert. These items should be a no-brainer if Carvana truly does a 150-point inspection and oil change prior to delivery. Then I got on the road. There was a thumping noise coming from the driver's side, the brake pedal shuddered with each stop, there was a scraping sound when turning that I knew right away was bad brakes, not to mention the completely blown speaker.
I took it to my mechanic for a full diagnosis, which I paid for out of pocket because he is not a Carvana mechanic, but obviously, I wanted someone I trust to check it out. His findings, on top of the blown speaker and lack of washer fluid, included: Bad front and rear brakes, bad struts, a nail in one tire, an oil leak around the transmission, and to top it off, window tint that is too dark to pass my state's inspection.
Then I took it to a Carvana-approved mechanic who assessed and priced everything mechanical with Silver Rock. I then had to wait for parts to come in, so my appointment would not be until my 7th day of having the car (when I should be able to have it pass state inspection by then). While I wait for that to be completed, I had to contact Silver Rock directly to find out what I need to do about the blown speaker (which they said SHOULD be approved to be fixed -- after spending tens of thousands of dollars, I should hope so, I should at least be able to listen to a podcast while I drive) and the window tint.
They informed me that I will need to take it to have the speaker repair priced and approved, which will mean I then have to take it back a separate time to be fixed, and I will have to have THEM call Silver Rock to let them know the window tint will not pass inspection (because my word and my mechanic's word is apparently not enough), at which point I will need to set up an appointment with the glass company to have THAT remedied, and THEN I can hopefully pass inspection, meaning I will either be overdue for inspection on my new car, or I will have to pay for a Rejected sticker and then, after everything is remedied, pay for a passing sticker.
I have had to spend a lot of time, energy, and aggravation to fix all of these issues that should not have been present had Carvana actually done their due diligence as they claim they do. This experience has been wildly frustrating and disappointing, and nothing like what Carvana touts itself to be. I would never recommend any friend or family member to Carvana after this.

I bought a1018 BMW i3 the in March, and it was sold without the range finder that was advertised and I was charged for. I turned it in for a 2019, and it didn't come with the parking assist as advertised (that I also paid for!). When I told them the parking assist was not on the car and sent clear pictures of where the sensors SHOULD be (attached), I was told "yes, you have this feature, you just don’t know how to use it" and they closed the case. I spoke with several people who all said, "Sorry, case closed", even though I have physical proof it is not on the car (again, look at the pics). I had to go to the BMW dealership to get a list of EVERY feature on my VIN, and parking assist (like I said) was not on the car. When I tried to show the person my sheet, they said it wasn’t necessary and that they were “on the BMW website and it shows your car has this feature (huh??) and disputed the printed facts that he refused to even look at.
I am furious that I was called a liar, and it's a horrible experience knowing a customer service agent can just hang up on you with impunity. I finally found an agent that would look at my feature list. He went to bat for me, and they told him the same. Luckily, he had them cut me a $500 check, which I still have not received. The vending machine isn’t cool enough for such bad customer service and lack of attention to detail on what most people would consider the biggest financial decision they will make. My 3 purchases at Carmax were smooth as silk, this has been a frustrating pain in the butt that has soured what should have been a fun and exciting experience. BTW, everyone in the building/vending machine were amazing. Big smiles, great service, no complaints.

Wasn't able to get the exact vehicle I wanted due to it being on hold. It never appeared to come off hold, so settled for a different vehicle. Financing rate was very high, but the delivery experience was pretty good. Trade value felt a bit low as well. Overall, it was an ok experience. Nice not being harassed by a salesman.

Nice vehicle, as described. Terrible job on detailing the car before we arrived. Dirty smear marks all over plastic parts. Dark oil residue on large portions of leather seats with black grimy areas as well. Sales associate even commented: "I will be honest, our detailers don't do a very good job". Also found a large cluster of insulation, leaves, and nuts (from mice or squirrels) formed on top of engine, between ignition wires, under the protective cover. Complete lack of detail. Not to mention lots of overspray from spot painting the body (and Bondo), making it obvious that Carvana was covering up some flaws. Not a huge deal on a 9-year-old vehicle, but it was definitely disappointing to see.

We have purchased from Carvana before and were very pleased. This time not so much. Most importantly, the car description was inaccurate. It noted a power front passenger seat which was important to us. The passenger seat is NOT powered and has no lumbar support. Secondly, the car interior was not cleaned well. Windows and rear view mirror were quite dirty and smeared with the rear windows showing evidence of previous pet use. Beyond these items, the transaction was relatively smooth. We were annoyed that hard deadlines were set and that a delivery fee was expected when our previous delivery was free. I missed posting proof of insurance by 35 minutes and had to reschedule our pick-up a day later.

I had to think about this review. Everything was really smooth except for the 3d party financing I used. That caused a delay because the Bank's name was not correct on the purchase agreement. That caused a two day delay for the Bank to process the loan. Everything was just great. CARVANA sure beats sitting for several hours at a dealership where they try to sell you everything in addition to the car. Very happy with CARVANA and the service they provided online, via chat, and in person! I will be a repeat customer!

Less than 30 days engine light came on. The people who did the oil change said that someone reset oil life to 75$ and oil was black. Firestone submitted claims for the catalytic converter replacement and Silver Rock would only approve 1 part at a time causing me to make 5, 80 mile trips to get it fixed.

This a great car with excellent performance and features. Love the 2017 Honda Accord EX-L w/Navigation & Honda Sensing Sedan 4D. I love the gas mileage and it rides so comfortably and drives like a dream. Love the 7 days test drive also. The buying process is a great way also. I hated to let my Corvette go but due to my arthritis in my hips I can't get in or out of the car anymore so I had to get something bigger and more comfortable and they were there for me.

When ordering, your website offered a Carvana Care package, and the website said I could purchase it up until the time I took possession of the vehicle. When I went back to order Carvana care I couldn't get the offer to come up again. In trying to order Carvana Care I also lost my delivery date twice. I then called, and was told Carvana Care was no longer available for the vehicle, which is clearly not what your website indicated when I did the initial order.

They sold me a car with 2 dry rotted tires, 4/10 traction and one was leaking. The "warranty" wouldn't apply, I have only had the car 10 days, this started on day 6. Customer service is not that great for something that should have been seen in their "150 point check point".

Purchased the vehicle without hassle until I had an issue. Then it’s all chat /text with a team of unprofessional people and have no empathy or accountability. I received a vehicle without a wheel lock key. When I inquired about it, they said after 7 days they’re not going or willing to help. I later inquired for the code so I may purchase it myself. The process was simple and straightforward, but I did have to exchange my first vehicle and some things were not communicated very well which led to some delays. There is a lot more automation now vs. when I bought my Tucson from Carvana in 2018 and I feel like a lot of frustration could have been avoided if I had just had someone explain the process rather than having to rely on the website. Also, the first car I received was extremely dirty and had a really foul odor issue going on in the interior. I'm disappointed that the vehicle was presented to me that way, however my second vehicle was much better. Overall I had a good experience and I appreciated the great customer service/support.

Best decision ever. Easiest way to buy a car hands down!!! I was completely done with the whole process in less than 30 minutes from my cellphone. Amazing experience. Highly recommend. - if they can't read your car (because of their cheap equipment), you have to go to a dealership and have them provide a document for them
- they take your money even before the deal was done
- they call you and hang up on you and expect you then to call them back
After a few weeks of back and forth, they told me that the car that was ready a few days before, suddenly wasn't ready. Really and interesting unorganized bunch of salesmen. Then they cancel the sales and want you to sign up again and increase the price by $800 for the SAME deal. And the final point, after I said I'm not paying the $800 more, they will reimburse you your money in 8-10 business days. That's 14 days they keep your money.

Should have read the reviews before going through Carvana. Like everyone else, my car was delivered to me damaged. Lug nuts were missing from the wheel and damaged it. I literally only drove it a couple miles. I could have gotten into an accident or worse. Carvana offered no sorry, no accommodation, nothing. Just told me to take it to the shop & use warranty to get it fixed. It has been a week now that this car has been sitting in the shop. I paid for a car I can’t drive right now & still have to turn around & pay a note in a couple of weeks. Carvana is definitely doing bad business.

You falsely advertised the vehicle I bought. Truck was advertised as having a 450 mile range and the extended battery which it does not. Truck is the lower trim level that does not get that range or have an extended battery. This is illegal on a state and federal level. If I don’t hear anything back I will be filing a complaint with the FTC and seeking litigation.

The ordering, approval, and delivery process went smoothly. But it wasn’t an hour after the truck pulled off we noticed antifreeze and oil leaking. The car was delivered without being cleaned. There was dirt, dog hair and even tools left in the car. They were great about helping me get the vehicle into a repair shop to look at the leaks and I also had them look the vehicle over. They themselves were baffled at how the car was delivered to us the day prior. Oil leaking from the pan, oil leaking from the turbo (which the turbo has gone bad and needs replaced) antifreeze leaking, air filters dirty, oil filters dirty, cabin filter dirty, car dirty, fluids all low, and the brake pads are worn down, etc. Carvana did offer to send a check to pay for detailing of the car, but it’s been 10 days and we still don’t have the car back from repairs. Very frustrating. I do not believe there are any final touch inspections or detailing that happen with these vehicles before delivering.

Carvana made an excellent offer on my 2019 4Runner. Instead of cash, I decided to trade in for a 2022 Gladiator. The Gladiator was delivered in great condition. I am more than satisfied with the transaction. I should add that my 4Runner had 26000 miles, while the black Gladiator has 7993 miles.

The purchasing and delivery experience were fast and easy. When the vehicle arrived, it was expected except that the tires were almost 8 years old and beginning to dry rot. Fortunately we were approved to get new tires on the vehicle by Silverrock. It would have just been nice for it to have been caught by before delivery.

The delivery was excellent! After day 8 my back brakes were metal on metal. I took the car to authorize mechanic and found out there was no brake pad left on the back and the brakes and rotors all the way around needed replaced, among a few other things. The warranty company makes it very difficult for the mechanic to repair in a timely manner.

We financed a 2024 Volvo XC40 B5 Core through Carvana. We were given paperwork claiming a 150-point inspection was performed on the vehicle before purchase, and we were assured everything was in good working order. However, after nearly being in a highway accident while activating the cruise control, we discovered that almost none of the vehicle's safety features work. We took the vehicle to a shop for diagnostics, and at least 24 codes appeared, including some for major engine, transmission, and stability issues. This put our family in serious danger.
Upon contacting Carvana about our options, given that no inspection was actually performed, they offered only out-of-pocket expense options to repair or replace the vehicle. Because we felt this was unfair, considering they misrepresented the vehicle's condition, they said our only other option to avoid out-of-pocket expense was to return the vehicle. This was a completely fraudulent business transaction because Carvana falsely marked these serious safety issues as in good working order before purchase.

I will be reporting Carvana and my experience to the BBB. How do you sell a car with no oil, no a/c, torn cv joint, bad brakes, I could keep going! Almost $7,000 in repairs. More than half my down payment. Carvana is trash customer service trash. And I’m a second time buyer.

Original pickup was terrible. Drove 2 hours and 3 minutes prior to pickup as used vehicle not available. Took a week and extra fee to have delivered closer. Second delivery went smoothly. Deal seems to have gone well just waiting for an email back from Bridgecrest on a few questions. Overall after 7 days we are satisfied. Thank you.

When we needed a hybrid fast due to my long commute and with work being so being very busy, it was convenient to shop online. The inspection report and photos will very helpful and it helps to have 7 days to see if we wanted to keep the car (we did!). Not happy, took on a trip and when I would hit a bump on the highway the whole truck would shake. Took it to Carvana warranty shop. They said they couldn’t find anything wrong. Took it to my local shop and come to find out it was defective front tires. Cost me $1,200.

Good experience though very different from any other we have had. Found just the vehicle we were hunting. We were able to do a one-stop trade-in/pick-up. Vehicle pricing and trade-in numbers seemed fair, although we should have looked around more. Overall it was convenient, fast and efficient. Very short lead time. Courteous workers. Only problem was our car got stuck in the vending machine for 20 minutes.

Run for the hills. You will get lied to and passed around with zero accountability. Van was damaged in transit and was told it would be taken care of. I immediately went on vacation which is why I bought the van and knew I wouldn’t have much cell signal. Carvana said no problem, take care of filing a claim when you get back. I tried to file a claim 8 days after purchase and was denied due to a 7 day limit. Carvana didn’t care that the damage was documented by their staff at time of purchase. On top of this left turn signal doesn’t work. Gas cap is cracked and caused checked engine light to come on.

First issue old battery at purchase- replace within first 2 months out of my pocket. Second bad lithium batteries. Never had held the full range of 110 when full charged, The biggest one Carvana has not filed my purchase date report with the IRS so no EV credit and taxes are now in limbo. No one has answers to this or solutions... But for my first ever experience I don't blame the car.. but the dealers..

The idea is great - buy cars online with no haggling. In reality, Carvana does the absolute minimum to prep a car for sale. The photos of my car online looked great. In person, the paint and trim were quite bad. I submitted pictures to their source for such complaints and they replied that these visual problems were typical of a used car. I strongly disagree - which is probably the biggest problems with Carvana. You don’t test drive the car or even see it before you buy it. They rely on you not wanting to bother returning it after purchase, which purchase date is the very first time you see and drive it. I know if I traded this car back in to them, they would reduce the price because of the exterior wear and damage.
Carvana put new tires on my car, and chose the absolute cheapest tires they could find. The car quickly developed a wobble. A tire dealership found a balancing weight had been sealed inside the tire when it was mounted, and was bouncing around inside the tire. The cabin air filter was extremely dirty - probably never replaced. The seats were dirty and the whole interior needed a detail. The windshield was filthy on the inside. There was actual mud in the wheel wells. Honestly it appeared that all they did was run it through a car wash, put ultra cheap tires on it and list it for sale with low resolution photos so you couldn’t see the paint and trim problems.
At least at a dealership you can see the car first, which gives the seller impetus to clean the vehicle. I will never buy from Carvana again, and recommend everyone else avoid this purchase experience. Buying something this expensive without even seeing it in person first puts all the advantage on the seller’s side, and places bets on how willing you are to sit on hold or have conversations over email about the condition of your vehicle.
I recommend Carmax if you want a similar experience. We had purchased a used car from Carmax in the past and were able to bring it back with concerns after owning for a few days and realizing it had problems, only to see if they would fix the issues. Instead they promptly took it back and refunded our purchase within about an hour. FWIW, we went to a Toyota dealership and bought a used car off their lot. Great experience. It’s rare for me to get so mad at a company that I’ll write a negative review, but Carvana quickly became the worst purchase experience I’ve ever had.

I purchased a vehicle through Carvana. They delivered it in the pouring rain. The next day, once the car had dried off, I noticed that the car was filthy, there were a few scratches, and 3 of the 4 wheels were badly scuffed. None of this was disclosed on their website. I contacted them about the cosmetic issues on the wheels to which they instructed me to contact SilverRock (Warranty company) who would get it all sorted out for me. I went through the process of contacting SilverRock. This is not something that I felt like doing with a new to me car. After 10 days, I hadn't heard anything and contacted SilverRock once again. They said my claim was denied due to the issues being cosmetic (what??) and said Carvana needs to take care of it as they sold the car like this. I contacted Carvana who said there was nothing they could do because I was outside of my 7 day window.
I have spent a ton of time between Carvana and SilverRock who are just pointing back and forth at each other, and I am screwed as the consumer. This is the second and absolute last car I will ever purchase from Carvana. I would highly recommend staying away from purchasing a vehicle from Carvana or a warranty from SilverRock. Neither company will stand behind their product and neither will support you as the customer.

I recently purchased a 2021 Tesla Model Y through Carvana and traded in my Acura MDX, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The entire transaction was seamless and conducted entirely online, which I truly appreciated. Carvana purchased my vehicle at a very competitive price, making the trade-in process smooth and rewarding. I want to highlight how grateful I am that Carvana gave me an opportunity despite my credit challenges. After being scammed last year, my credit score suffered due to the debt I incurred.
However, Carvana approved my loan and allowed me to move forward with the purchase. While the interest rate is understandably high given my credit situation, I plan to refinance in the future to lower my monthly payments. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with Carvana’s service and would absolutely consider transacting with them again in the future. One minor hiccup but overall very pleasant experience. From the time I accepted the loan till I picked up my vehicle was 5 days. Wish there was more human interaction. I would definitely use Carvana again. Was only at their location 30 minutes from the time I arrived and the Jeep was handed over to me. Car was detailed and ready to drive away.

Everything from prices to the CARFAX being listed on the site, physical damage listed, and features were amazing. Our delivery driver was very nice and offered to deliver our car early which was awesome. My only 2 complaints being one of the features listed on the car was incorrect and was not available, and the car was dirty on the outside, especially the wheels. Other than that I'm likely to use Carvana in the future due to no hidden dealer fees. The price is what it is and I love that.

I will Never go into another dealership. Carvana all the way. This was the easiest and most pleasant experience involving a car purchase. The only reason a personal call was even involved is because I had an insurance question. From start to finish it was seamless and stress free. My trade went easily. I found the site easy to use and convenient to shop. My only concern was navigating the purchase process when using my own financial institution. I found the staff helpful when I asked for help in the chat. And the staff at Warrensville Heights friendly and enthusiastic. I found this first experience with Carvana exciting and dropping the big coin in the slot of the vending machine fun. I loved all the vehicle inspection reports that gave me a sense of security about the vehicle. I loved the various options to view the vehicle. I loved the ability to see all the safety features and options. I love the sunroof, heated steering wheel, heated seats, safety features, gas mileage, and the right size and price for a pickup truck.

I love the car except for the body damage not shown on the rear bumper and rear fender. So I put it in the body shop to have it fixed for $1650. Carvana won't come down on their price because of it and their warranty company won't fix it. Carvana says talk to SilverRock and they say talk to Carvana. Very frustrating.

I will say this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. It took longer to find the car I was looking for than it did to finance the purchase. I highly recommend Carvana to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. The young lady that delivered my vehicle was very professional and polite. This was the second luxury car I’ve purchased from Carvana in 3 years and after my first experience I was mostly pleased. The first time It was easy to purchase and the car was great. My only complaint was the sales person on site lying about what was covered in the extended warranty. This time around I ran into actual issues and the experience was far worse. The car is what I wanted, but there was a delay in receiving my third party financing information. They called to tell me they needed a second picture of my id, and never bothered to tell me they were missing anything else.
After accepting a $1990 non refundable deposit I checked to see how the sale was coming and saw the car still for sale. I was completely unable to get their customer service to call me to discuss or give me a customer service phone number. The cancelled sale led to a large issue with the timing of picking up the car and none of the employees I eventually spoke to seemed to care or had anyway to correct the issue. When I picked the car up, it was filthy. Then I spent the next 7 days receiving progressively more rude collection calls from their financing company because they neglected to inform their own company that they had purchased the original car back on a trade in. Needless to say, I will not be buying a third luxury car from Carvana when I purchase one this fall.

Carvana provided the easiest car buying experience I’ve had to date. The most difficult portion was selecting the right vehicle for purchase from their extensive selection. Drop off and pick up was great. They gave me a fair price for my trade, and financing through them was easy. The pricing/payment tool and customer reviews were super helpful in deciding which vehicle was right for our family. Carvana gets two thumbs up and five stars.

Called and was told nothing could be done because I accepted the vehicle. Not to mention the delays getting the new vehicle. Needless to say I am not recommending Carvana to any of my friends. I made my order on a Friday and was suddenly told to have everything ready on Monday (even though my insurance place and the bank for a car loan was closed for the weekend.) I requested an extension and then I had everything ready on Wednesday. Then I was told that Carvana has to process it on their end which shouldn’t have mattered because I scheduled my trade in/delivery for Tuesday and took off work. They proceeded to have my order canceled every day for over a week including the extra day I took off work since my part of the order was done and I was told the loan processing should only take 1-2 days.
In the end I only got help by contacting Better Business Bureau since no one in the phone support could do anything to finalize my order. After submitting my complaint from having my order delayed and then constantly saying it wasn’t my fault and still did nothing to help, my request for a partial refund was ignored and yet it still took another 2 days for my order to be finalized.

I was looking to trade in my car and purchase a new car. Carvana was extremely helpful and on top of everything. I have never purchased a car online so I called to have help walking me through the process on the vehicle I was interested in. They stayed on the phone with me while I filed everything with them and gave me a GREAT trade-in value on an older vehicle of mine. There was no negotiation hassle and I had my vehicle within 2 days of my purchase. Dropped off right at my door. I won't be walking into a dealership ever again. Hello. We are Mr. George and Deborah **. Here is our true disaster story with documentation. Also, please listen to the calls between the manager, Mr, Ismael ** and myself, Deborah **. Our daughter purchased a car with Carvana so we decided to the same. I purchased a 2024 Chevy Trax. Day of delivery I called to confirm time only to find out my car had been sold to someone else! My husband and I were headed out on vacation with this car on this exact date. I also, I received a call from Carvana at 3:52 pm to upload proof of new insurance, I did. No car!
My husband asked me to reach out to a Supervisor, I did. His name is Mr. Ismael **. He promised me (listen to the recording) $1000 back, $250 credit and Free shipping on next car. Found another car and contacted him, he has totally forgotten his promise to me! Mind you Carvana yet has my $1,390 deposit since the other week ago. Still I proceed with the 2022 Dodge Challenger which was to be delivered today. Call back to speak to Mr. Ismael **, I’m told I’m not allowed to by Underwriting department associate (please listen to this call as well today)!
I made it plain that the mileage is 222,598 and that I thoroughly explained to Mr. Ismael **, the manager, that the mileage shows up sometimes and sometimes the dashboard doesn’t. He told me it was NO PROBLEM. I drive this car everyday and it is fully insured. Again today, no car and no delivery. Also not allowed to speak to the Manager anymore. Customer service is very dismissive and the Carvana site would not allow me to post my review, which seems to be the case for many other customers as I searched for external reviews of Carvana. I bought a minivan with Carvana in December 2024 and after paying the nearly $2000 shipping fee, it showed up without the 360 camera that it had been posted as having and the only reason I selected this particular minivan. The shipping is non-refundable, so they offered $500 for the mistake because it was too expensive to ship back. I checked in for 4 months trying to receive this check, only to be told with every message that it would arrive in a few weeks. I finally had to start a fraudulent charge claim because they would not return the money. I would not recommend this service and regret thinking this would be a more convenient and straight-forward approach to car buying, they made the entire process more difficult than a dealership.

The car I bought needed about 3-5k worth of work to make it safe on the road. Thankfully the warranty covered most of it but I was, I did not have to spend the time and money within 2 weeks of getting the car. The sales tax is financed but my state is a self-register state, if I don't receive the financed sales tax then I am done more money than I should be.

I took the Jeep Grand Cherokee to the shop yesterday. It is very noisy when you go over bumps. The repair shop said it’s the struts, which happens to be a common problem with Grand Cherokees. Silverrock denied to fix the issue. I haven’t even had the vehicle for 2 weeks. Pretty terrible to just get a vehicle, and then be told they won’t fix it.

Carvana has only 3 ways to prove residency: deed, mortgage or utility bill. It's their policy. They don't, however, require any of this info before taking your money. They cancelled my sale after taking over $28,000 from my bank account because they said I couldn't prove residency, even though the FL Dept. of Motor Vehicles, who told me directly, they would issue a title with the proof of residency I already had. 15 days later I still have no refund and was told today it could take another 14 days to receive.
Their entire system is automated and inflexible. Reaching a real person is an ordeal and they aren't any more flexible either, because I offered to handle the taxes, title and registration myself and they couldn't (wouldn't) see the logic in that. I no longer believe AI is any sort of threat to humans, since Carvana as a real-life example, is proof that humans haven't yet mastered computer programming.
I lost out on purchasing 2 other cars as a result (actually one of them I was told was purchased by Caravan) and I have stopped looking until I have my refund. I intend to report this to the Better Business Bureau and the FL Dept. of Consumer Affairs as well. My money transferred electronically from my investment account to my checking account in 2 days. The transfer via Plaid to Carvana was instantaneous. A month from the transaction date to my receipt of a refund, therefore, seems a bit contrived and as such -- simply, bad business practice. Buyer beware.

Starting off the process was fairly easy. However, finding a way around having to purchase ridiculously expensive insurance through Carvana was difficult. My delivery was scheduled from 11-2 and so I had to take this time off work to be at the delivery location. My delivery didn’t arrive until almost 4 o’clock. I had made arrangements to be places before this. Upon arrival I inspected the car finding it to be absolutely filthy.
There was dog hair all over the seats and floor boards and it looked as though someone took a dirty rag to wash the windows after using it to wipe down the tires as they were all nasty. I had to take it immediately to the car wash. Also the windshield wipers had to be replaced immediately as they were actually dry rotted. The delivery driver was kind and helpful albeit very late. Over all the experience wasn’t horrible and the car itself is a dream. I would use Carvana again but next time I know that there would be things that I need to be particular about.

I asked around for comments on purchasing from Carvana and received a positive response from 5 different sources. I liked what I saw on the website and pursued one car in particular. Even though it took me a few weeks to get the process going and filling out information online along with e-signing online it was easier than I thought it would be. I wished I would have been able to talk with someone in the process and even though I did get one phone call which the person was very helpful, I felt a little distanced from the process and it made me a little nervous to commit. But everything worked out and I am satisfied with my purchase and trade-in. I had my mechanic check it over and I had to have my "new to me" car inspected and everything was good. Thank you.

Terrible Experience – Wasted My Time & Money. I initiated my car sale with Carvana, accepted their offer, signed all the necessary documents, and made it crystal clear that I wouldn’t be present for pickup. I confirmed with them in advance that my wife could be there instead, as the title was solely in my name. Based on their confirmation, she flew out of state specifically to be present for pickup.
At the last minute, when I went to confirm the appointment, Carvana suddenly changed their stance and said I had to be there in person, despite previously assuring me otherwise. Their excuse? “It’s our policy.” No solutions, no accountability—just an empty apology after they cost me time, money, and unnecessary travel expenses. When I pushed back, they blamed their “new chat bot system” for making mistakes. So now, because of their incompetence and misleading information, I’m out time, money, and unnecessary travel costs—all for a deal they refused to honor. If you’re looking for a hassle-free car-selling experience, look elsewhere. Carvana clearly doesn’t honor what they say, and their poor communication will leave you dealing with a mess.

As soon as I got the 2018 Equinox it was messed up and need to go into the shop with multiple things wrong with it. Bad breaks/rotors that was making a very loud noise when driving and a horrible oil leak and I have to take it back to the mechanic to make sure it’s completely fixed.

While the process of buying was the easiest ever after that they fail, just wanting to write this so others will be aware, there is no 150 point inspection, my vehicle I purchased has bad struts, brakes are worn out, battery cable at post fell apart from corrosion, cab filter was so plugged up air would not come thru vents, tires are weather cracked and minimum. after talking to them and there ext warranty department they had no solution. Best advice I can give is get it inspected right after delivery and then contact them (DO NOT DRIVE IT). Hope this helps someone mean while I'm out additional 3k.

I have went through Carvana before when I got my first vehicle and it was a wonderful experience then and a wonderful experience now. I don’t have to worry about a dealership doing anything shady or trying to take as much money as possible. Carvana is the way to go.

Check engine light came after only 3 days of having the car. Needs an alignment, and was not approved by Silver Rock. I don’t believe all checks and balances were done before selling the car. I love the car, don’t get me wrong, but it was definitely not ready to be sold and to have to be responsible for these repairs is unfair.

Recently purchased a Corolla last June. Great experience so I came back for a second car. When shopping, I applied the filter for no shipping charge. All cars that I looked at had zero shipping and a delivery day of the next day or even same day. That was the case with the Camry that I picked out. I was disappointed when I went to submit the order and was informed that the delivery would be three days away. Much to my surprise, the order came back with a $590 delivery fee. I almost decided not to buy. The summary even says hidden fees: $0. I sure don't recall this fee on my Corolla that was delivered less than 24 hours after order. No shipping charge is misleading.

The day our Subaru Outback died I coincidentally got an email from Carvana with some cars listed. I had been looking at Volvos - specifically x60s and BOOM there was one with incredibly low miles - 12k and was a 2021 (in 2025). Low miles, good carfax, late model, and all the accessories we needed on a new car. Click click click and 2 days later our new car arrived (new to us). The communications were 100% through the whole process - not too many texts, emails or phone calls.
The ease of finding and buying our Volvo was such that 4 days later - while scrolling through carvana - i see a car that is very hard to find and I had been to dealership and they didn’t have one at all. But - carvana did. Super low miles 8k 2024 Mazda 3 hatchback. Loaded with accessories. Click, click, click. Car 2 in less than a week. We are out of driveway space so we are done for a while.

Ordering and delivery process was seamless, my biggest issue was the inconsistency with the listing. The car had major scrapes on the front bumper, rear bumper/right rear qrt panel, and left rear rim that was not on listing. Silver Rock refused to cover even after I was advised by delivery associate and customer service agent that they would cover and rectify these issues. There was no transparency in the vehicle condition which is a shame on you.
