I wouldn't give them even one star but what do you do. They got my hopes up high, then on the day they came to pick it up, it was declined because they said it didn't match the answers I gave them. All they had to do was ask for photos and I would have sent them and this whole fiasco could have been prevented. I will never deal with them ever again. It would have saved me the embarrassment and them the time wasted for showing up if all they had done was ask for photos. So I'm going to keep my car. It just needs a new tire. According to their diagnostic it didn't show any bad codes and everything checked out great, but does that apply to only the codes they are hunting for?

THIS was the WORST experience buying a car…they delivered the car with a BOLT in the tire…had to immediately get it fixed…while at the mechanic, he said you’re the 7th person who came in from Carvana this week... was thinking to myself, they missed a bolt in the tire, what else are they overlooking!?. Then they delayed my replacement car THREE times... THREE WEEKS….literally texting me an HOUR before the delivery…when I had made arrangements with my schedule.. HORRIBLE CORRUPT COMPANY…. not to mention the nauseating air fresheners they leave in the car.. NO THANKS.

I have had the worst experience with Carvana. Do not ever buy from them. I got a car back in March and it is now October. I have yet to be able to register the vehicle because of how many car repairs I have had to do on the car since getting it and now I can’t get the car registered because they messed up on the paperwork. When I first got the car, they had to do repairs and it took them three weeks and I had to pay for my own car rentals. They gave me one stupid gas card and that was it. They have caused so much inconvenience in my life this year that it is literally affected my life in every form.

To make it short, car was purchased 7/10. Almost 3 months now with temp about to expire, still no permanent plates/registration. The runaround I have been given is disgusting. Promised callbacks that never happened. "Escalations" that lead to nothing. Purchase was smooth until this. Guess money was received so why should carvana care any longer. Now left to just "trust the process" as I'm about to have a car sitting that I cannot drive due to expiration & no confirmation of when registration will arrive. Abolsolute worst customer service & follow up & will never purchase from them again. Dealing with piranha like salespeople in a showroom just might have been more pleasant.

I’ve purchased from Carvana multiple times, but this most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. My vehicle was delivered with clear inspection failures that should have been caught before delivery, including tires measuring 3/32 (well below Carvana’s stated 5/32 minimum), missing belly pan and hardware, failed air filters, and a scratched windshield caused by a damaged wiper arm.

Despite Carvana’s “150-point inspection” guarantee, I had to pay out-of-pocket for immediate repairs. When I contacted Carvana, I was repeatedly directed to SilverRock warranty, which does not cover pre-existing inspection failures. After weeks of back and forth, I received only partial reimbursement, leaving me with over $2,700 in unresolved costs.

Carvana eventually offered limited “goodwill compensation,” but this fell far short of addressing the documented issues. The process was stressful, time-consuming, and left me feeling misled as a returning customer. Carvana advertises peace of mind and rigorous inspections, but my experience proved otherwise. Unless Carvana improves accountability and transparency with its inspection process, I would strongly caution others to reconsider.

So I bought a truck from these people. They took money and insurance had to be bought. So I'm out of pocket 3+ grand before the truck was shipped. When it arrived the motor was shot and needed to be replaced as told by their mechanic. The warranty company (SilverRock) took 4 days to come back and tell Carvana to have me pick a different truck. When I tried they wanted more money down and the down-payments went up so I'd have to pay a difference. When I found a truck that was to cost 500 more. They offered me 500 of the total of the truck but would not let the 500 difference slide. They wanted more money upfront. After almost 2 weeks of no truck in my possession they wasted. Best walk to a dealer than deal with these people. They say they do a 150 point inspection. If they would have started the truck they'd know that a cylinder was dead in the motor. They are crooks. So we purchased a mid size SUV from Carvana. First time trying carvana out. Upon delivery my husband and I got in the front seats and noticed a 1 1/2" - 2" chip with webbing around it. We brought this to the attention of the guy delivering it. I went back in to Carvana app to see if this was listed in the car description. It was NOT. (I'm pretty thorough on researching exactly what I'm getting.) So the delivery driver noted it and we called carvana the next morning. We were asked to take pictures of it and they would get back to us. Not 10 minutes later we were sent an email that denied any resolve and we would have to deal with it. I just think they didn't get how big the chip with spider webbing was. We called several times stating there was no mention of the chip and it was delivered with this spider webbing chip you could feel with your finger on the outside of the windshield. Never got anywhere with carvana.

Carvana also tried to gaslight us to use our insurance which we couldn't do because our insurance company wanted the date and description of when it happened. (We don't know how or when it happened, carvana delivered it like that so our insurance won't pay for it.) Oh and they keep your delivery fee and charge you $1 per mile over 400 miles of use. VERY BAD COMPANY!!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE HASSLE AND GO SOMEWHERE REPUTABLE!!!! VERY BAD BEHAVIOR!!!

I've been having issues with this vehicle since date of purchase 8/14/24. Up till this date I had to put over $5,000 in repairs for this piece of junk that I'm stuck paying a high percentage loan. Then if you try to trade it in, they will lock you into more debt with a higher interest rate and monthly payments more than rent. Don't do it! Get your credit together and catch the bus before doing this mess. I got the vehicle for work and can't even use it! Go head and try, you will mess around and find out for yourself!

I recently had a seriously disappointing experience with this dealership that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I decided to purchase my vehicle, the customer service was subpar at best. I spoke with numerous representatives throughout the process, and it quickly became evident that none of them were on the same page. Each interaction felt disjointed and frustrating, as I constantly had to repeat myself and clarify information.

To make matters worse, I encountered an absolutely unacceptable policy regarding personal belongings. During the purchasing process, it was not only unprofessional but shocking to discover that items like my house keys were discarded without any consideration. This kind of negligence towards customers’ personal property is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's values and policies.

Overall, my experience was highly disappointing, both in the vehicle purchasing process and the subsequent interactions with customer service. It’s clear that there is a serious need for improvement in communication and customer care. I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience and will be sharing this feedback with others to help them avoid similar frustrations.

Carvana advertises peace of mind, but the reality is you’ll be stuck fighting a warranty company that does everything possible not to pay. I stated everything wrong with vehicle but nothing was noted by delivery guy. I placed a claim on screen but was told it was cosmetic. Claim declined, reason I purchased the vehicle in that condition. I called Carnava and SivlerRock, no resolution. Overall purchase was simple, no issues. But the vehicle wasn't cleaned or inspected if it was a 100-point inspection. Lights should be checked, as well as other things needed to operate the vehicle. At this point, I'm dissatisfied and disappointed. And I wouldn't suggest CARVANA to a circus for a clown car.

Then they asked me about an obscure car purchase years ago and how much my monthly payment was. While I was looking up the payment information, their site timed me out, and as a result they blocked me from buying for 30 days. So yes, they blocked me for 30 days because THEY had the wrong info and their website didn't have the patience to let me find the old info because I didn't have the freaking memory of how much per month my wife paid on HER car 4 years ago when it came out of a shared bank account so they literally blocked me from buying from them for a month because of my wife's payroll and my wife's car payment, neither of which had anything to do with me but were somehow the questions on MY id verification.

Undisclosed $15,000 defects in recent purchase. I purchased a used vehicle from Carvana in February, financing it at well above book value based on their certification of a 150-point inspection and pre-existing bodywork repairs. Within months and only 3,024 miles, prior to even my first oil change - the repairs have begun flaking off in sheets, exposing fresh rust beneath. Independent diagnosis now lists fifteen thousand dollars in hidden mechanical failures: steering, wiring shorts, hidden body damage-all missed in their inspection.

Carvana’s been contacted four separate times; each time, I’m told the warranty excludes everything that actually matters. I am out nine hundred dollars monthly for a parked liability. Request immediate resolution. No way it’s not fraudulent misrepresentation if the vehicle you buy overbook value doesn’t even make it to his first oil change and they claim it’s not their problem. I have filed complaints at the Attorney General‘s office, Better Business Bureau Rip Off Report in here as well as other places.

Very, very, very displeased and I will never do it again. I was delivered a truck with the check engine light on and asked to load it back up instead, she said, "We will fix it. I will provide you with a number to call. I already have your trade-in loaded." It has been five weeks. I have not driven the truck. The transmission is out of it and they are unable to provide me with a rental. They want me to pay for it all and then reimburse me later. It will be over two months before the truck transmission is replaced and returned to me. Very displeased with the customer service leaving me with no vehicle whatsoever to drive.

They will pay $60 a day and reimburse me. I have to pay for it upfront. First, I don’t have that kind of money to do that. Second, I don’t trust them to pay me back; if they do, it will be 60 to 90 days. I cannot believe that they talk about Customer Service being their number one and 150 some point inspection that I receive a truck with transmission not working in the windshield Hays, though were so bad from Rock sand chips that it needs to be replaced also on my dime for $750. I call and after waiting an hour online, I get the same thing. "Oh we’re very sorry for the inconvenience but you can rent a car and we will reimburse you this much after the first day." When it was delivered, I said, "Take it back" and it was too much trouble to unload my trade-in and return the truck back. Needless to say, they do not care about the customer after the sale. They do not care about what they bring to the customer. I’ve been without a vehicle now for 6 weeks.

By the time I drove the truck long enough to notice the transmission problems, I was beyond the 7 day window for refund. The shop I took it to found black transmission fluid. Then it sat in the shop for 13 days while a replacement transmission was installed. 3 days later, check engine light was on and shifting was still rough. I took it back and then the warranty company said take it to the dealership.

Now it’s been there for 3 days while the warranty company disputes repairs for catalytic converter and all types of other stuff wrong. I have barely had the truck in my possession. I will be contacting my state’s consumer affairs department and hoping someone can help me. Carvana and Silverrock have been terrible at every step. No help. Only hassle and now want deductibles paid for repairs. I’ve had the truck for like 40 days and in shops for half of those.

One of those looked as if someone had scraped the entire rear passenger against another object. Submitted those to have repaired, took it to recommended body shop, they did the estimate and sent on our way.

Despite Carvana and Progressive having direct communication with each other, I had to be the one to make the phone calls back and forth and nothing came of it and I had not been able to get any answers as to why so I started looking elsewhere and cancelled my order.

Ultimately I found a car somewhere else but the money I had put into Carvana as their shipping fee, which was over $1,000, was never refunded and I have had to resort to contacting my bank over the dispute. When the vehicle arrived it had 99k + miles more on it than what was posted and what is in my contract. I thought it was going to get resolved and made right, but they have done nothing but lie and not honor anything they have said. The vehicle also has more scrapes and paint damage than was listed, it makes a rattling noise that seems to come from the tire area, it's leaking something but they won't fix it because they still haven't fixed the mileage issue. They said that has to be fixed first. Ok so fix it. So, the brakes are now making noises so I'm assuming the leaking might be brake fluid.

Great, I bought a car that's going to end up doing nothing but being trouble and Carvana isn't going to do anything to make things right. This is NOT ok. This is wrong and taking advantage of people. I wrote a previous review, and it was a good one because I thought they were going to fix their mistake and be honorable in their word. The repair shops submitted the claim to Silver Rock (a Carvana Company). My claim was denied because all of the work was “required maintenance”. All of this “required maintenance” was supposed to have been taken care of in the 150 point inspection Carvana said that they did and that my car passed every category! I’ve bought many cars in my life, from Volkswagen Beetles to Alfa Romeos to Infinitis. Some used and some new. My experience with Carvana is absolutely the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. It took a couple of hours to complete the initial paperwork online. This task was not too onerous. After selecting the vehicle and completing the paperwork, I arranged financing through my bank, only to find out that my bank would not transfer the funds directly to Carvana because they had so many problems with them. They would only send a check to Carvana. I agreed to have them FedEx the check to Carvana so that I would be able to pick up the car today (Wednesday).

According to Carvana’s online system, my vehicle would be ready at 3 o’clock today. However, when I arrived at Carvana’s location, I was greeted by an associate who had no idea who I was or why I was there. Although Carvana’s online system had me confirmed for a 3 o’clock appointment, the associate at the physical location had no record of it. When I told her about the vehicle I was supposed to purchase, she couldn’t even find it. I showed her the emails from Carvana and Carvana’s online system where they provided the information on the vehicle and when the appointment was.

Both the associate and customer support couldn’t find the check that was FedEx’d to them by my bank. I had to call my bank and get the tracking numbers then call FedEx to confirm that the check had actually been delivered to Carvana (they still couldn’t find it, even though I told them who had signed for it). Carvana’s solution to my problem was for me to start at the beginning and do all of it over again. To me, this was not a satisfactory solution. Instead, I canceled my check and told Carvana that I was no longer interested in purchasing a vehicle from them. I absolutely DO NOT recommend using Carvana for a vehicle purchase. They were very unprofessional.

When you report the damage, advocates tell you to report it to silver rock (a subsidiary warranty company owned by Carvana’s umbrella). Silver Rock tells you, “…normal wear and tear…” which is a flat out lie. I have cars twice the age of the car I’ve purchased from them in better condition. Bought a Wrangler for a fleet and have a 2011 which has 0 wear and tear issues with 5x the amount of miles.

Then when they’re missing things like floor matts, they will reimburse you $100 in the form of a check, but when you report missing items like a wheel lock key (a safety related item) they tell you if its not included it's not resolved. Which makes no sense to me. Imagine having to change a flat along a busy highway but you can't because Carvana thinks it's okay to sell a car without a wheel lock key. Needless to say I’d rather spend hours in a dealer than deal with such a scum, cut rate company thinking it’s okay to mess with people this way. My Fleet vehicle purchases will continue elsewhere.

This was the second vehicle that I purchased from Carvana. I am not sure why I went back when the first purchase was less than stellar. With the first vehicle, I had been promised that some cosmetic issues would be taken care of and that I would get a phone call to set all that up. Weeks went by and no one called. I reached out to them on numerous occasions and got nowhere so none of the cosmetics were taken care of. Not that big of a deal, it was cosmetic.

My second purchase of a 2016 BMW X5, started off rocky and I should’ve probably brought the vehicle back within the seven days. When I picked the vehicle up the technician said they needed to fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir before I left. They did so and I had an hour drive home and when I was about halfway home the “windshield washer fluid low” indicator came on. I thought that was odd being they had just filled it. When we got home we refilled it and when I went out the next day the indicator light came on again. I reported it to them and they told me to put in a service request. Nowhere in the service request form was there a way to put in what I was requesting.

After not getting anywhere with customer service, I made an appointment and had someone look at it. They thought they had fixed it because there was some little connector that was bad. It cost me $85 – not that big of a deal for a BMW. I requested that I get reimbursed and they told me that they could not reimburse me because I would’ve had to pay the first $350 as per my service contract because I had not gone to one of their dealers and even if I had, I still would’ve had to pay the first hundred dollars. I argued that it was broken from when I left the lot and I reported it the same day I picked up the car But it fell on deaf ears.

Now I have a problem with the car bouncing around and I have barely had it for five months. I was informed that suspension is not covered in the $1800 service contract I bought. Apparently I bought this for nothing. Between Carvana and Silver rock, the company who the service contract is through, they basically told me to go pound rocks. Save yourself some major headaches and do not purchase a vehicle from Carvana but if you do, definitely do not bother with the bogus Silver rock service contract.

Customer service and everything was great… but I would suggest that you never buy a car that you don’t see first and I would recommend this place to no one after my experience… I bought a 2015 Cadillac ATS.. It ran good for about two months and it’s been a money pit ever since…. The car had major serious issues that were covered up and I am now having to abandon a 17,000 remaining on my loan…. Because a car has completely broke down 7000 repairs….

At first, I thought it was just circumstances but no, I bought a messed up car… I’ve already put over 3000 into it and I have had the car towed four times in less than two years.. I haven’t even had the car two years and it is completely broke down and I just called financing to come and get it … It’s a shame because I love the vehicle, but it just won’t keep running.

I feel like I got completely ripped off.. I bought a piece of shit with a pretty shell… I’m in the process of abandoning the loan and looking for a new car and now I have bad credit… I would suggest getting a certified vehicle… also I’ve heard from family members that they sold their car to Carvana and their cars have had major issues and they don’t even ask they pay and pick up the car and resell it to dumbasses like me … Buyer beware!!!! I hope nobody comes into a situation like mine.

What a disappointing experience. Our 2024 Nissan Armada was delivered today. Right away it was obvious that the damage listed in the vehicle description online was not honest. There was much more damage -clearly visible - including several chips and cracks in the windshield. Cheap plastic floor mats were inside, not the Nissan factory mats. A few gouges in the paint that looked like someone painted over with nail polish. Long waits for “customer service.” Indifferent “advocates” and a “screw you” attitude toward the problem were frustrating. This was our first and last time using Carvana, and we will warn friends and family not to use them. The whole process felt dishonest.

We decided to give Carvana a try since they seemed to have the best price for what we wanted. The pictures Carvana posted online were clear and the 360 view was nice, or so we believed. Carvana showed and listed the dents and scratches so we THOUGHT we knew what we were purchasing. The vehicle arrived on time and the agent bringing the vehicle to us kept us informed of exact time he would arrive. When he took the vehicle off of the truck, he pointed out a cracked tail light which he said happened after purchase.

This agent assured us that Carvana would take care of this crack, which was small and did not affect the functionality of the light. I also pointed out to my agent that the front license plate was missing. The state of New Jersey requires both front and back license plates. Again, the agent assured me that Carvana would take care of this. The agent explained that I should submit a claim under MyCars and these issues would be corrected. Carvana works with SilverRock, their trusted warranty provider, which is SUPPOSED TO HELP with missing license plates, tires that are balding, and cracked tail lights. My agent also suggested that I have the car looked over by Carvana's in-network mechanic to make sure the vehicle was in as good a state as Carvana claimed because we had the 7-day money-back guarantee.

I took the vehicle to the in-network mechanic and they suggested new front tires because the tires were balding. Otherwise, it was in good condition. I submitted this balding tire issue to Carvana's SilverRock, which they reviewed, and then rejected. I also submitted the cracked tail light with pictures to Carvana and SilverRock, which were also reviewed and rejected. For the taillight, I was told that the crack was in the 360 picture. I mentioned that my agent said it happened after purchase, but their 360 picture did show a crack in the taillight. OK, I missed that. I was not reviewing the Carvana 360 with my magnifying glass. My bad. However, why didn't Carvana mention a cracked taillight in their description of what dents, dings, and scratches the vehicle did have? That was definitely something they DID NOT want the buyer to know about and this was deliberately deceptive.

As for the tires, which the in-network mechanic took pictures of and sent over to Silver Rock, this claim was also rejected as balding tires met the Carvana standards. All of my claims were met with the same canned reply, "Well you do have the 7-day money-back guarantee and can cancel at any time during this period." I submitted my missing license plate claim multiple times and was told I need to go through SilverRock again. When I submit this missing license plate claim, I am told Carvana/SilverRock doesn't cover this for me. There have been too many hours of my time wasted either on hold with Carvana reps or in online chats. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Carvana at all. Their system is set to work in their favor only, never for the customer. It's deceitful. If a Zero-Star Review could be given, it would have been.

I strongly advise staying away from Carvana due to my experience with them. Their business practices are misleading and dishonest. I traded in my 2019 Silverado with a 5.3L V8 and ordered another truck through Carvana. All of the paperwork and the website listed the vehicle as being in perfect condition with a 5.3L V8 engine. However, when the delivery driver arrived, he parked down the street and insisted I sign all the paperwork before I could see the truck. When I finally got to inspect and test-drive it, I discovered it had a 2.7L engine instead of the advertised 5.3L. On top of that, the truck had bodywork done, even though Carvana claimed it had no accident history.

When I called to return the truck and requested my Silverado back, they refused, stating they could not return my trade-in. Now I’m stuck paying off the negative equity from my previous truck (about $4,500) without having a vehicle. I have never been so dissatisfied with a company. Carvana misrepresented the truck, refused to resolve the issue, and left me in a worse financial position. I will be purchasing my next vehicle through a traditional dealership. Carvana is not a company I would recommend to anyone—avoid buying a vehicle from them. SCAM!!!!

I reported it the next day and attempted to get the bumper repaired. I was told it’s “minor” and they will not cover it even if it wasn’t reported during the sale. Carvana told me I am responsible to repair the bumper and that is a “firm decision”. Moral of the story is, make sure you look the vehicle over carefully before the driver that delivered it leaves. Because of the poor customer service, I do not recommend purchasing from Carvana unless you plan to look at the vehicle before you finalize any paperwork.

After I got the vehicle, 100 miles later, the check engine light came on while engine running rough and truck started overheating. I took the truck to a authorized dealer who after inspection, said the truck needs a major tune-up, the brakes are 3mm very close to metal on metal, the thermostat is bad. I went through the 14 day warranty and that claim took another 2 days and the shop still has my truck after 4 days. All Scamvana can offer is apologies, no compensation, nothing.

I can turn the truck back in and get another but with my experience, I will have the same problems with a different purchase from Scamvana. This online car buying model is a great idea but if you can't deliver on the actual vehicle in a timely manner without active problems, then Scamvana needs to stop selling cars and scamming people. Let's start with this: this experience was supposed to be better and easier than dealing with a dealership, but it hasn't been. This experience has been a real pain, to say the least. I found a vehicle to start with at the beginning of Sept 2025, and the process seemed pretty straightforward. I paid the shipping fee($1990), completed my trade-in paperwork, signed all the necessary documents, and thought everything was ready to go. Gave them a week and a half to deliver the vehicle to the pickup location. I had to travel to this delivery location, so I booked a hotel and arranged my travel plans accordingly. They emailed me two days prior, changed the delivery date, and apologized. So, I cancelled my travel plans, and they did give me $ 250 off my next purchase for my troubles, so I guess at least they did try. FYI, be prepared to hear 'sorry' a lot from Caravan.

Anyway, take the new delivery date, sign paperwork twice, and then they end up cancelling the order on me and telling me that the vehicle isn't fit for sale. So I move on and find another car, go through the process all over again, and get everything signed and done that they asked of me. Also, pay my shipping fees for this one to be delivered to my house this time. Everything is going great right up to providing morning, three hours from delivery, mind you. I'm supposed to have my new vehicle. I received an email saying, 'Get ready, we are counting down the minutes.' Then, not even 20 minutes later, I get another email saying the delivery date has been changed. I call all the numbers I can find on the interweb, and they all seem to go back to the main office, and all they can tell me is it's a tire issue.

Although the pre-inspection sheet on their website indicates they are in good condition, this has been the most frustrating car-buying experience I have had, for sure. I think I would rather deal with a dealership for a few frustrating hours and leave wth my new vehicle rather than deal with Carvana for five weeks. Again, be prepared to hear sorry a lot. I know it's not the fault of the people taking the calls, but it's frustrating that as a buyer, I can't get straightforward answers. I am a location manager for a global company, and if you can't strive for better customer service at all times, then you shouldn't be in business. I straight up told a Senior leadership member for Carvana that if this is how your business runs, I don't know how they stay in Business.

Extremely Disappointed! We spent two weeks looking on Carvana's website looking for the right car, we spent a lot of time looking at all the pictures to verify it didn’t have anything wrong that we couldn’t deal with, most things on their website were small. We found what my wife wanted, got approved, set up delivery and it was delivered this past Sunday!!

That was when the nightmare started. The delivery guy dropped it and left pretty quick. We took it for a drive and realized the center console looked completely different than the one in the picture, then I realize it was missing the brake boot, then I realized it had two large repairs in the hood that stand out, too bad it looks like a 12 year did it (again nothing was said about these in there photos on website). Then we keep having the parking assist needs service keeps coming on and off. I called them and all they said was, "We can have you drive 4 hours away to have one of our repair shops look at it but can’t promise they will do anything." Why have a car delivered to them have to drive it farther away than where it came from?

Now my wife went to drop my daughter off at dance and she went to start the car and the car won’t start. I had a repair guy go look at it and he is saying the battery is bad and the car needs a new battery. We have only had the car for a total of two days. I have bought a lot of vehicles in my 50 years and this is an absolute horrible experience. Please be very careful buying a car from them.

I hate to be this guy, but… I purchased a Nissan Armada from Carvana, and while most of the buying process went smoothly, my experience after delivery has been disappointing. The vehicle was listed as including the 3rd row mat, which is a custom mat that comes with the Platinum package, but the SUV arrived with no mats at all.

When I contacted Carvana, they offered me $100 as a “good faith gesture.” The problem is that each replacement mat costs around $200, so $100 doesn’t solve the issue. I explained that it wasn’t about the money — I simply wanted them to reach out to the location where I picked up the vehicle and ask if the mats were left behind. The representative refused, saying they couldn’t do that, which I find hard to believe. To make things worse, they described the $100 as a symbolic gesture, as if they were doing me a favor, despite me paying $50,000 for the vehicle.

I even followed up with their business account, asking once again for someone to at least attempt to look for the mats, but my message went unanswered. It’s frustrating because 90% of my experience with Carvana was positive, but this last part left a sour taste. A company selling high-value vehicles should stand behind their listings and take customer concerns seriously. Something as simple as making a phone call to verify whether the mats were left behind would have gone a long way in preventing this review.

While the beginning of our experience was a good one, thinking we had gotten exactly what we wanted, turned sour before delivery. The Buick Encore we were about to finance had over 100 dents from hail damage, and it only made it 7 miles before overheating. There is no way this vehicle was cosmetically or mechanically inspected and this missed. Obviously we wanted them to pick it up, their consumer department said they would make it right, well they of course did not. That call they were going to give me at 8 am never happened. At 1 pm I called them again and asked them to just come get it, mind you the lot is 7 miles away and they gave us a 12 hour window, 8 to 8, never called at all and knocked on the door at 930 pm. Yes, couldn't even make that huge window.

Their answer for doing the right thing, the same vehicle year, a few less miles and in Kansas City. $80.00 more per month and a $1290 shipping fee. That is exactly where the previous one came from for zero fee. In 43 years of buying vehicles this is by far the worst experience. I would not recommend them to anyone, ever. Buyer beware!

When the delivery truck arrived at my apartment for the trade, the car looked nice on the outside. But the moment I opened the door, I noticed the interior was not clean and there was a strong odor. I contacted Carvana immediately, and they offered me a $100 check to get the car detailed. The next day, I discovered a crack in the passenger-side dash window. When I reported it, Carvana told me to list all issues and contact one of their partner companies. That company eventually got back to me and essentially said it was my problem now—they would not help with the odor or the window.

Over the following days, the smell got worse. I spent around $300 to replace the cabin and engine filters, but the odor remained. While checking the glove compartment, I pulled out the car manual and noticed it had clear water damage—it looked like it had been soaked. This explained the persistent mold smell and raised a serious red flag: I may have been sold a flood car.

I’ve continued to put money into trying to remove the smell, but nothing is working. The cabin filter I replaced was saturated with a terrible odor, and I was advised that I may need to have the coolant and A/C system flushed. At this point, I’m very worried about the long-term reliability of the engine and the safety of the car. I strongly believe this vehicle was flooded, and I am very concerned that Carvana sold it without disclosing that fact. There is no question in my mind why their service partner refused to take responsibility.⚠️ My advice to anyone considering Carvana: be very careful. Do your research, get the car fully inspected, and do not sign off on delivery until you are completely confident in the vehicle’s condition.

Wow... I am SOOOO beyond disappointed with Carvana. The actual purchase and delivery were easy. Then, 3 weeks later, the BMW X3 we purchased needs major repair work. Carvana will do nothing to help. Contacted the warranty company. They recommended 2 shops, the 1st said they are unable to do the repairs, and the second can't get us in for another week. So, we are unable to drive the car we were so excited to purchase, JUST 3 WEEKS LATER. I have spent a ton of time on phone with carvana and warranty company, and the best solution they can come up with is to get the car to the repair shop in a week and wait until it's done.

I have been pleading with carvana and the warranty to help us, yet I am told there is nothing more they can do. We bought a car to drive, not to make payments on a vehicle that sits in our driveway or repair shop. I am HEARTBROKEN, not to mention so frustrated that carvana refuses to be any my help! Also, the repairs, though covered by warranty, are gonna cost thousands of dollars... Major repair!!! 3 weeks after purchase!!!

I recently placed an order for the vehicle listed below: Vehicle Listing. After re-placing the order, it was declined again with the only explanation being that the documents I provided could not be verified. Earlier today, I spoke with an “Underwriter” to discuss how I could apply my payment, as I was planning to wire the funds. Instead, I was informed that I would need to provide a cashier’s check. During that call, I also disclosed that I intended to purchase the vehicle using my Trust account, but was told that Carvana policies do not allow this. I then made it clear that I was fully prepared to provide a cashier’s check drawn from my personal checking account.

Despite this, I was not given the opportunity to meet the payment requirements before the original deadline, and my order was cancelled outright. When I attempted to call back, I was met with an automated message stating that the cancellation was final, with no option to speak with a representative. This process has been extremely frustrating. I feel that I have wasted significant time and incurred unnecessary expenses (such as shipping fees) without being given a fair opportunity to resolve the issue.

So convenient until you get it home and everything starts magically breaking all at once. Transmission, breaks, AC, you name it. You have to fight tooth and nail to get them to cover what’s under warranty, their inspection is a farce and apparently purely cosmetic, and they’ll give you the run around on the phone when you call with issues and refuse to reimburse rentals they supposedly cover. Don’t buy from them. It’s a bigger headache than it’s worth and you’ll end up stuck without a vehicle while they play stupid about the issues and then hang up on you if you persist in speaking to someone higher who can actually help. Would give zero stars if I could. Huge mistake.

I’ll never buy from Carvana again. The experience and the product I received was horrible. First, my appointment was rescheduled twice for a reason they would not give me. Secondly, after receiving the car, it needed to be inspected, which they didn’t tell me as well. I got the car inspected Three weeks after having it and I needed a front brakes. They said that that was my responsibility because it’s wear and tear. I did not put wear and tear on those brakes in a month. Thirdly, my car was skipping so I took it to a company that dealt with the warranty. They called me and said I needed back drums and brakes, my wheel bearing needed to be replaced, and all my tires needed to be replaced. With that being said, the only thing that the warranty covered was the wheel bearing. I had to pay over $1000 to get everything else replaced.

When I called Carvana, they said they were wear and tear and they did not cover it. Again, Having the car for a month and a half how can I put wear and tear into those components? This company cost me over $2000 to get this car and running condition. I called for a refund and I got the runaround and I received not one dollar from this horrible company. I do not recommend going with this company.

Awful experience starting from delivery. Paid for delivery to the nearest Walmart. Was there waiting and they called and went to a Walmart over 2 hours away even though I provided the correct address. Day 8 whole exhaust system goes and tire sensor. Got that fixed under special 14 day warranty. Now day 97 transmission is going, scraping sound from stuck rotor, thermostat won't work therefore AC won't work and another tire pressure sensor is broke. It's one problem after another. Nearest garage that takes the SilverRock warranty is over an hour away. A garage squeezed me in on day 99 to start a claim. Other garage an hour away couldn't get me in before the 100 day warranty. It's awful customer service.

If car breaks down it's not customer's fault garage doesn't have appointments. Terrible thing to do to paying customers. No garages or dealership even want to deal with the silver rock warranty. I will probably cancel mine due to this. I've never been so upset with a car purchase ever. I definitely got a lemon. I'm telling everyone I know never to use Carvana. I'm a single mom and having to drive my car an hour away to get fixed and pay deductibles already is a shame. It's very upsetting. The stress over having this car is awful. I would give it back in a heat beat if I could. Will leave negative reviews on a car forums and every place I can. Very unhappy customer.

I made an appointment immediately with a referred garage. The garage told me the brake pads were completely shot and the rear passenger tire lug nuts were WELDED ON. They couldn’t get the tire off without breaking the rim. I asked Carvana to pick up the vehicle for return, which they agreed to, but for the replacement vehicle they would not waive the shipping fee - $600. How would I pick up a vehicle when I have no vehicle?! I will not purchase from them again. Very disappointing. They need to do a better job of inspecting vehicles before reselling them.

I recently purchased a 2011 Toyota Highlander from Carvana with only 36K miles. The purchasing and finance process was a breeze (good stuff there). I have been quite dissatisfied with the 100 day "warranty" and the service repair provider SilverRock. After it was delivered, I noticed that the driver's side window did not go down all the way and made an awful clunking sound when the window closed. So I initiated a warranty claim, found an in-network provider (Meineke on Mill Plain in Vancouver, WA). That issue was fixed. Ok fine... should've been easy to spot BEFORE delivery, but it got repaired.

Then a few days later, I got home after driving around on a hot day with the AC on high... only to notice that the entire floorboard of the car was SOPPING wet. I wet-vaced everything as best I could in the dark at 10:30pm. Got it back in at the repair shop the next morning. I asked them to check the AC drainage hose as apparently this is a known issue with this make/model. I also asked them to mitigate for possible water damage, which I assumed would be pulling the carpet out and putting fans on it to thoroughly dry it out to ensure no rust or mold would develop.

The "maintenance required" engine had also come on, indicating that an oil change was needed. (Really? I've had the car for two weeks...and it already needs an oil change. Ok...cool.) So I asked them to also do an oil change, which I understood was not part of the warranty, since it was already in the shop. They indicated that they would. So I arrive yesterday to pick it up. Not only did they do nothing to dry out the floorboard carpet, they said they removed the AC drainage clog... but when I called SilverRock this morning, they did not see a claim for that. They didn't charge me for it... so... did they do it for free? Or just tell me they did it, but didn't actually do anything? I have no idea. Will I have flooded floorboards when it gets hot again? I have no idea.

And then to the oil change... when I got home last night, I noticed a puddle under the car. I assumed it was now properly draining water from the AC. Came back several hours later and the puddle was still there. The water hadn't dried.. .that's because it was water... it was OIL. We then checked the oil with the dipstick and... nothing. We unscrewed the cap and looked inside... NO OIL! I had either driven home when no oil at all, possibly damaging my engine... or they forgot to put the drainplug back in and all the oil leaked out on my drive home and in the parking lot of the places I stopped at along the way. And the maintenance light is STILL on saying that I need an oil change.

I have tried calling them four times this morning, and no one answers. I left two messages. No call back yet and it's almost noon. I called SilverRock about the incompetence and unresponsiveness of their in-network repair facility... and while the service rep was very polite and understanding, I was basically told... sorry, there's nothing we can do. It's between me and the shop. The 100 day warranty is only for mechanical issues.

So... bottom line is... read the fine print on what is actually covered in that 100 day warranty. And don't expect Carvana to check for obvious things like a window that isn't functioning properly or clogged AC drainage hoses in a make/model that is KNOWN to have this kind of issue. Maybe you'll get lucky... or maybe you'll end up like me... with a possibly damaged engine because you tried to get a simple oil change from a Carvana/SilverRock in-network repair shop that your car was ALREADY at...only to have things go south and they take ZERO responsibility.

I am a ED nurse and in graduate school. My partner works for FEMA. We are *busy*. We bought a 2017 Mercedes GLC300 with Carvana this year and our experience was not great. First, the car was in another state and we didn't have the time to go look at it in person. BAD. After delivery we discovered many problems that were not mentioned AT ALL in the listing that were NOT cosmetic including a boot that needed immediate replacement, bad tires, seat heaters not working, the back trunk doesn't stop when you're loading groceries into the cargo area- like it immediately starts going down after it gets to the top- I literally injured my shoulder due to this. These are some of the most inconvenient issues but there are MANY more.

We reported all the problems to Carvana prior to the warranty expiration but when we took the car to our overpriced Bougie Mercedes dealership they did not know the Carvana process and didn't submit any of the electrical issues to Carvana initially. It's impossible to reach an actual person at Carvana, so by the time we finally reached them they said they would still cover the electrical issues because we submitted them before the deadline but then they backtracked after the dealership re-submitted their list. They are now only covering the boot with a $350 deductible we still have to pay. So upshot.

If you are knowledgeable car person with the time to inspect the vehicle and/or deal with a dealership that knows the Carvana process well (note Carvana listed our dealership as a partner so it's not like we just picked a random), then maybe you will be OK. For normies like us, I seriously suggest you pay the extra to buy from a reputable dealership like Carmax or a local car dealership you know you can trust.

This was by far the WORST vehicle buying experience I have ever had. When I saw the car online with the low mileage, everything looked ok based on the photos they had posted. They had 4 small imperfections noted, which for what they had shown, was not a deal breaker, however, the next hour after delivery and having to re-clean the entire car was a different story. When they dropped it off, the delivery driver apologized for the mud that was all over one side of it due to their parking lot being not paved and full of mud holes. He even pointed out a big chunk of the rubber on the front tire that was missing and he was going to make a note of it. I pointed out the side mldg was coming off and he stated that Carvana would not fix and chalk it up to normal wear and tear.

Keep in mind, it was starting to rain so I could not see all of what I was about to find until after I cleaned it up again. After giving it a good wash and review, I noticed quickly that the vehicle had been in a wreck and some very shotty repair work had been done. I immediately called an "advocate" within an hour of them dropping off the vehicle and told them I wanted them to come and pick it back up and that I did not want it because there was undisclosed damage on the vehicle that was not in the listing or on the Carfax. Keep in mind I had to pay to have this car shipped from wherever it was to the local Carvana in Greensboro, NC. I have reached out to see about my refund of the shipping charges and keep getting the run around and no answers or refund.

I am entering a complaint with the BBB and will be pursuing action against them in order to get resolution. Their 150 checklist is a joke because whomever looked this car over and only found 4 flaws must be blind as a bat because I have pictures and videos of way more flaws, scratches, chips, trash in paint, overspray, Bondo in body panels, etc. that I will be using to prove my point. DO NOT buy a car from them because I would be ashamed to have the car they brought me representing my business and promoting a quality checklist on something that was clearly tore up and patched back together.

I purchased a 2022 Tesla Model 3 from Carvana. The purchase process was super easy, and not having to go to a dealership made buying a car much more convenient. The delivery person was very nice, and walked me through the process of signing the documents, and answered all of the questions that I had. With that said, this is unfortunately the first and the last time that I ever purchase a vehicle from Carvana! Here is my experience…

It took three weeks for the car to be delivered, despite the car being close enough to qualify for free shipping. When the car arrived, it had issues that were completely unacceptable considering the price I paid. The alignment was out, to the point where the car was unsafe to drive, the windshield had two massive rock chips, and the control panel on the driver’s seat was broken. Carvana’s 150-point inspection is a complete joke! I spent two full days dealing with filing insurance claims, while talking to repair shops and SilverRock insurance. It’s been over a month and I’m still working on getting everything fixed! The insurance took a while to approve the alignment repair, so I had to make two trips to the alignment shop. I was told the alignment was so far out, the mechanic thought it had been in an accident!

SilverRock wouldn’t approve an OEM windshield replacement, so I’m having to replace the windshield with lower quality third-party glass. The aftermarket glass shop butchered the replacement, so I’m having to make two different trips to the glass shop, which is 45 minutes away! After just under a month, the windshield still hasn’t been fixed.

Getting insurance to approve an OEM seat repair was a nightmare, and I ended up having to pay out of pocket before insurance reimbursed me. Thankfully that repair was done correctly first try by Tesla’s Mobile Service. I was hoping to have a smooth car-buying experience. I did end up keeping the car, but there were moments where I was very close to returning it. Insurance is fixing the issues, but considering the amount of time and stress I’ve had to go through, I would’ve been better off going to a normal dealership. I am telling everyone I know to stay far away from Carvana!

On 7/30/25, Carvana delivered my vehicle with a windshield crack directly in my driver’s eyeline. This was never disclosed in the online listing or in their “Condition” section, even though that section listed other cosmetic flaws like scratches. I contacted customer service immediately. Two chat reps claimed the crack must have happened after delivery (it did not) and abruptly ended the chats after sending the same canned “I know this wasn’t the resolution you wanted” macro. No one tried to help.

After I filed a BBB complaint, a Carvana rep admitted they knew about the crack before delivery and had filled it because it was “under a certain size.” My only options: pay for it myself, swap vehicles, or return the car. Another rep confirmed in writing on 08/09/25 that it had been repaired pre-delivery and deemed “within standards,” so it wasn’t disclosed — even though it’s in my direct line of sight and a safety hazard.

I have filed complaints with the BBB, Texas Attorney General, FTC, and Texas DMV. Concealing known damage and refusing to fix it is deceptive, unsafe, and shows zero regard for customers. Desired Resolution: Carvana should replace the windshield at no cost using a qualified provider and change its policies to ensure known damage is disclosed before sale.

I swapped it for a newer 2019 yukon, which felt good at first. After a few days I noticed a few things. I could feel the engine move when I accelerated, and I could feel something kinda... kick... when it downshifted. The first mechanic found broken motor mounts... plural. After that was fixed I still felt some issues in the transmission, but after bringing it to a few in network repair shops they couldn't find anything. Then the transmission started overheating. When the mechanics opened up the fluid pan, it was full of metal, and needed a new transmission.

I'm grateful that these things are covered under warranty, but I feel like these are some things that should have been checked, and now my new vehicle, that I'm paying a lot for every month, has been in a mechanic's shop totaling 45 days when I add up all the visits. I've only had this thing for 92 days as of today.... I honestly don't think they really look at vehicles before they sell them, and if they do then they need to fire the dude they have.

The repair shop told me that it would probably take days for the approval if in fact it was approved. The warranty is a joke. Would never buy from them again, beware of this dealer. Literally worst car buying experience EVER. Clearly the CEO and other management just don't even care as I have written 2 letters with no response. Carvana clearly could care less. Carvana screwed up the licensing process and then on top of $799 I paid to them to complete the license paid another $350 to get their mess fixed. Then I find out the care is not as was sold and warranty is much shorter than they had on their website. So have turned the entire file over to the IN Attorney General who has a large file on Carvana and are planning to prosecute. Save yourself the worry and buy from fa reputable dealer. I've saved a couple friends so far who were going to buy Carvana and switched to a local dealer. My new mission in life!

When choosing Carvana, I knew I'd overpay for a used car but it was a bit beyond even what I anticipated. The trade in value compared to loan makes gap coverage an absolute must and I still wish the price had been closer to the actual value of the car. Aside from the price point though, I've absolutely loved my Carvana experience!

I did not have to speak on the phone or in person to a single human being to buy the car (no dealing with pushy salesmen or stressful loan officer back and forths!). The first person I interacted with was the gentleman who dropped off my car and he was excellent - taking the time to show me the features and make sure I was comfortable and informed about my purchase. The car was delivered in pristine condition, it looked practically new thanks to the quality detailing.

Carvana's 7 day return policy is awesome, allowing time to really be confident in the purchase. My car had a significant cosmetic failing in the sunroof cover that wasn't reported in the listing which made me consider returning it - but I reached out to SilverRock and they covered the repair completely with no deductible, even helping me find a repair service. Carvana also offered more reasonable interest rates on the loan than even my own credit union! The integration between Carvana and its third party services (e.g. SilverRock and Bridgecrest) is excellent, truly eliminating some of the headache and barriers that usually exist to car ownership. Handling the titling was a very nice touch too - something my friends and family were most impressed by because no one loves a trip to the DMV. All in all, I've had an incredible experience with Carvana and will absolutely be back for my next car!

I’ve been a loyal Carvana customer for over 4 years and appreciated their easy, hassle-free buying process—until recently. In March 2024, I purchased a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450. By late July, the A/C failed. No warranty, long dealership wait times, and unbearable Southern heat made it a nightmare. I traded it back in after winter. In March 2025, I bought a 2020 BMW X5 40i—this time with the Care Plus warranty. Shockingly, the A/C failed again in late July 2025, almost exactly one year later.

Two different luxury vehicles, same issue, same timing. It’s hard to believe this is a coincidence. It feels like the A/C systems were just recharged to pass inspection, not properly repaired. I’ve put down large payments to offset negative equity and trusted Carvana through multiple purchases. But after this repeated issue, I’m seriously reconsidering buying another vehicle from them. Carvana needs to improve their inspection standards, especially for critical systems like HVAC. Customers deserve better.

Navigating the app was difficult, as I had to repeat entries multiple times. I also began getting message that “another buyer” was also interested in the vehicle. Eventually was told the “other buyer” was me. I tried conversing with the AI about tag process, as I wanted to reuse my existing tag, but this went nowhere. Not being able to speak with a person throughout the purchase process was a problem.

Then, I received multiple emails and texts congratulating me on my new purchase and counting down the days/hours until it arrived, including the afternoon before the scheduled delivery. On the scheduled day of delivery, I received text, email, and (automated) voice message saying my vehicle was being delayed two days. Attempting to chat via AI, I could not determine why the delivery was delayed. I went to local (Columbus, GA) Carvana office. Woman there was helpful, and gave me a number to call. The person I spoke to, in a call center, had no idea what was going on or why the vehicle was being delayed. The woman at the office was able to determine the vehicle was arriving a day sooner than the notices had said. Interesting that Carvana could not control or communicate adequately about the delivery, but had no problem immediately withdrawing the payment from my bank account several days before the vehicle was delivered.

1 Star (only because 0 isn't an option). Carvana is hands-down the WORST car-buying experience I’ve ever had. I bought a car through them thinking it would be a smooth, modern, hassle-free experience. WRONG. First of all, I had to drive 5 hours just to pick up the vehicle — not exactly the convenience they advertise. But that was just the beginning. Within the first 110 miles of driving it back home, the check engine light and multiple service lights came on. That should’ve been my first clue that this car was a lemon. Since June 1st, I've had the car for maybe 15 days total (and none of those were even consecutive). It’s been in and out of the shop constantly. Oh — and the shop I HAVE to use for warranty work? 45 miles away. Every. Single. Time.

I asked for an exchange due to the never-ending issues and guess what? They refused. Apparently, selling someone a broken car with undisclosed mechanical AND cosmetic damage is just business as usual for Carvana. Transparency clearly isn’t their thing. They love to brag about their 100-day warranty, but here’s the fine print they don’t tell you: it comes with a $100 deductible every time. So not only am I constantly without a car, I’m paying out of pocket for their mistake. As for customer service? It’s nonexistent. I’ve never dealt with such a useless, unhelpful group of people. They give you the runaround, pass the blame, and act like you’re the problem for expecting a working car. Carvana is a joke, a scam, and an absolute nightmare to deal with. I will NEVER do business with them again and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. Save yourself the stress, time, and money — go literally anywhere else.

I was told that I was still missing $423 for the delivery. I had no choice, but to pay it since the rest of the process had been finalized. To make matters worse when the car was delivered I noticed a couple of cosmetic issues which were all rejected by silver rock. One of them is a bit more major as there is a gash with metal exposed in the truck bed. I have to fix this out of pocket now because if I don’t it will definitely rust in the future.

When the truck was delivered I noticed that Carvana had used the wrong address for registration. I mentioned this to the delivery person and he told me to call them and notify them before the registration was finalized. I made sure to do so, and they assured me that my address on file would be the one used for the registration. They failed to fix it, and used the incorrect address even after I had called. Needless to say I’m really disappointed with the customer service aspect and I’m really hoping that I won’t have any problems going forward. I traded my immaculate 2021 Ford Ranger for a 2021 Expedition and boy am I disappointed. The process online was alright but I cannot believe they were able to sell me the vehicle that they did. After driving the Expedition for only 5-10 miles, I had a check engine light pop up. It was one of the injectors that needed replaced. I didn't even have it for 5 hours.

Tried to get in touch with the team to ask why and how it happened and they said I would now have to go through their insurance to have it covered under their "warranty period." Of course, id now have to jump through all the hoops. All 4 tires also needed to be replaced. I took the Expedition up to my local Ford dealer and the total cost is going on to be about $3,000 for all replacements needed. Injectors, tires, special tools for tire rotation, etc. They also told me that the cabin and engine filters were way beyond normal wear and that would be something they should have taken care of from the dealer. Completely let down and disgusted that they can rip people off the way I was. Avoid at ALL COSTS!!!! Scammers and frauds, the lot of them.

The overall process of purchasing a vehicle from Carvana is very easy. Delivery was very professional and the car arrived very clean. Unfortunately, there were defects on the vehicle that were NOT reported. These were minor and not enough for us to return the car, but the condition of the vehicle as stated originally, was not accurate. For example, there are two obvious defects in the paint job where the paint or clearcoat is sagging, very noticeable. There is no spare tire. It is completely missing. In the 150-point inspection, it was listed as being there. Because of this, the trunk floor has no undersupport, so anything put back there causes the floor to sag. The front-passenger side fog light glass is broken.

Very obvious and should have been noted. The underbody of the car was loose in several places and I had to buy retainer clips to reattach it. Directly under the driver seat, the underbody plastic shield has been damaged and I will likely have to replace it. I don't mind there being minor issues with the vehicle, it's a used car, but these things are pretty obvious and could have been placed on the inspection report. Disappointing. Of all of these, I feel that Carvana should make right the fact that the spare tire is completely missing. Because, it was checked off in the 150-point inspection. That is just incorrect.

I uploaded my current, valid, driver's license only to be told it was unacceptable because it was within 30 days of renewal. A new state law meant I had to download and complete a form and get it signed by my optometrist before I could renew. I DID all that and then had to upload the image to the cloud, download to my, PC, and then re-upload. I contacted customer support. The first thing they said was there was an issue with my trade in. THEY said there was a lien on the vehicle I paid off over 10 years ago. So I scanned a copy of my title and uploaded it. It was unacceptable. Only a picture would do. I had to take a picture of the title, upload to the cloud, download to my PC, and re-upload to Carvana. Initial delivery of July 7 was moved to July 9. Delivery was moved to Wednesday 7/9/25 due to a faulty battery needing replacement.

I executed all of the contracts, signed, and was set.... I thought. Delivery was delayed, again, until 7/11/25. When the car arrived the driver told me that I had NOT executed all of the contracts or signed them. I told him I had. I finally brought him into my house to my PC, signed into to Carvana, and showed him they were signed. Then HE called customer service and went round with them for at least 30 minutes. His tablet showed my contracts weren't signed. Then, almost magically, when he hung up with customer service, they all showed proper execution. I had paid for a pre-purchase inspection while under the 7 day period I could return it. It found a problem with the Right Rear ABS monitor chip and that new break pads were needed.

I made an appointment and took it to my nearest Toyota dealer (it is still under manufacturer's warranty). They discovered the ABS monitor chip was in fact clogged with debris from warn brake pads. They cleaned and resurfaced the rotors and replaced the brake pads at no cost to me.... other than time, frustration, and aggravation. If it weren't for the vehicle price, mileage, make, and model I would have packed it in long before purchasing. As such I will not consider buying a vehicle from Carvana again simply because no proper inquiry was made as to the misrepresentation of exterior condition. Buying experience was streamlined and easy. However, there was no mention of damage on the front bumper on the website. The plastic part on the bottom of the front bumper was cracked, scratched up, and is hanging off loosely - Carvana won't fix it. The delivery guy said it may have happened during transport.

Overall the experience was smooth and easy, from getting a good trade value for my previous car to the ease of doing all the paperwork. Everyone has been super nice from the delivery driver to the online support. Only issue I have that didn't make this a 5 star is how the truck arrived. It arrived with less than a half tank of gas, the interior was filthy and had a strange musky smell that I will need to try and remove.

It truly is so simple and Micah delivered my car to me and took my trade in! He took the time to go over everything with me! I couldn’t recommend more! I Will always chose Carvana when we need another vehicle!

I purchased a 2019 BMW X5 on 4/19/25 through Carvana. The purchase process was standard and I had no issues doing so. After making my down payment of $300 and transportation fee of $1990. I decided to add Carvana Care. This decision to add the carvana care for the vehicle was made within the time period before my car was even delivered to me. I spoke to customer care to add the carvana care and the representative did not have knowledge on the carvana care and had issues adding it and processing the payment. So I requested if she was unable to provide me with the carvana care to please leave my account as is.

After hanging up, I received a new contract with the carvana care down payment which was $1510.00 for the Plus package like the representative said which was taken from my account. HOWEVER Carvana Care Plus package was NEVER added on to my account. I have now had the car for 90 days without the carvana care plus package although the money has been withdrawn out of my account. I have made multiple calls to carvana to resolve this issue. I was promised a call back with a reconstructed contract and to no avail. I hope to resolve this issue and receive a reconstructed contract with my carvana care plus package added without having to involve legal counsel, but will involve counsel if need be.

I liked the idea of Carvana and the car, but -- I "purchased" the car on July 4th so nothing was open. I was told I had two days to provide the payment. Each time I called, the hold was extended, but with threats of putting the car back into availability with each approaching deadline. I had already been preapproved for financing and was able to finalize the loan at my branch the next day, but it was a Saturday, so the check (from the main bank) could not go out until Monday. I was only able to get the FedEx tracking number, but my bank could not supply a copy of the check. That left me in limbo. The FedEx tracking reported the check arrived the next morning on Tuesday. When I called, I was told that I would not be contacted when the check cleared but had to call in to find out. Not a great system. I must have called over a dozen times.

On Friday, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor, but had to wait for a "ticket." The next day, after a looong call, the car was released so I could set up delivery. So kudos to the agent who helped me, but your system needs to take into account holidays and weekends and not scare clients with the threats. Also, the car had undisclosed damage--cracks in the windshield. I called the day before my trial ended and was told another "ticket" would be put in and someone would contact me. That was a week ago! And a minor issue, the car arrived with no fluid in the wiper fluid tank.

When we bought a car from Carvana with financing it was just as easy with cash. Getting a car and it not going on hold was hard but that is because there are so many people looking. The car was clean and delivered in the timeframe they said it would. Only thing the car we choose said free shipping but it shows $490 was added and we used the same address as our search. So that was odd. I would buy another car on carvana as prices are fair.

I have a credit score of 814, provided all documentation as requested-which was declined because my mail goes to a Post Office box instead of my home address I sent declaration page of ownership as well as homeowners insurance stating my physical address, also sent them a copy of my Spectrum bill with service address. All documentation was rejected. Keep in mind they already had my Social Security number and credit card/credit union information for auto pay deductions. I was charged a holding charge and a delivery charge for vehicle I never received as well as a charge for car insurance -DO NOT GO HERE

It's now been 7 days with my car, and I really can't say anything bad about the process.

The car arrived on time, but in unacceptable condition: dirty wheel wells, mud packed between the tire grooves, and bug smudges all over the front—like it had just been test-driven through a dirt lot. The so-called "Advocate" (delivery rep) clearly didn’t care. Instead of addressing the issues, he repeatedly told us to go online and even suggested canceling the delivery if we didn’t like how the car looked.

To make things worse, the passenger-side DRL was dead—a known issue they still delivered the car with. Overall, a horrible experience. After three phone calls and answering 32 questions, I'm now just waiting to return the car within their so-called 7-day return window. To top it off, they expect me to stay home all day, since the pickup can happen anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.—with only a 30-minute heads-up. Bloated prices and a sky-high interest rate? Just the icing on this very disappointing cake

Worst experience dealing with Carvana reps!! Run don’t use them ever!! This company is highly unethical taking deposits and shipping costs every chance they get! They say it’s no hassle but it’s no hassle if you don’t mind losing more money to every decision you make with them. They make you verify everything which is fine but they don’t use logic and if you go by an alias name at work, they expect you to expose all your privacy to your job just so your name matches your identification for a car.

If I wanna claim I’m married at work with my family name of my kids, that’s my business. Even while I was transparent with Carvana, they expected me to notify HR to make a change to all my documentation at work so my paycheck stub reads my legal name just because they couldn’t use their brains to comprehend that if I did that, that’s a whole lot of paperwork for HR just to turn around and change it back after a car purchase really? No other car sales had any issue with my hyphenated last name!! These people are stupid and blackballed me from ever buying from there again just because my last name was different on my identification than my paycheck stub!! It was literally the same name just hyphenated with my kid's last name behind it!! 🙄

They look for any reason to screw people over and take advantage of people! The cars aren’t even the best and every car I’ve purchased previously - yup you heard that right they didn’t have any issues with selling to me before because they neglected to care so much but it seems if they know you’re getting a better deal than they are, they’ll find ways to screw you. You’ll be wasting a whole lot of time and money with them and I don’t care to ever use them again so they did me a favor!! I’ll be glad when I can sell the POS that I got from them!!

Do not be confused by the 5 Star ratings. Those 5 star ratings are a result of people who bought and took delivery from Carvana. But what if you use their "7 car return policy". It sounds like a great thing but it is a way for them to make money. What happened to me is I purchased a car online. Within two hours, I canceled my order. I understand they have a policy that you lose the money for the delivery fee, even though it was only 2 hours later, they delivered nothing and I was not getting my car for another 3 days. I don't agree with that but that is their policy. The problem I have is when I bought the car, my $2200 deposit was taken out of my account within one hour.

They first told me it would be 5 days before they would return my money back. On the eighth day, I contacted them again, they told me it was going to be 15 days to get my deposit back. In working for a bank, I know a wire transfer takes seconds and not over two weeks. If my money is not there, it is off to small claims court. Of course, because they kept my "Delivery Fee" even though they did not deliver anything and they are holding onto my deposit, I can guarantee I will never buy from them. By doing this to hundreds of customers, they make a fortune on the interest. So, if you are buying, make sure you take delivery because their return policy is not like having the policy at all.

Try and sell your car....yourself. Can be a hassle when dealing with potential buyers but selling your car to carvana or any business...Why?? They will always low ball you and get creative with words to justify otherwise. "Well, you had an accident or has a dent or something." And yet if they buy your car they tell potential buyers. Ah gesh Louise don't sweat the small stuff, it's in good running condition da, da, da. Buyers always want to pay the least and sell for the most....many times 2 or 3 or 4 times more than what they paid you!
