Buying a car from Carvana seemed scarily easy until delivery. Huge inventory. Three different tries to complete delivery. Poor customer service, except for Brian (he actually seemed to care). Tracking delivery did NOT work. I got a message our vehicle was in the driveway on the third attempt. It wasn’t, but was delivered that evening. After delivery, we saw damage on the windshield. I contacted our insurance and they sent Safelite the next day. It could not be repaired and the glass must be replaced to pass inspection at Motor Vehicle. Carvana does NOT cover glass per Elijah. I was told I could find another vehicle.

I asked if they would reimburse us the $850 for the windshield and was told NO per Elijah. I asked why the glass damage was not disclosed on line like any other damage and was told they don’t report damage to glass because they just replace it. It seemed ridiculous and like a huge waste of resources to send the vehicle back and try to find another one. Unfortunately, we have to pay to replace the windshield because we do NOT feel Carvana will deliver another vehicle with NO windshield damage. Be careful. Per Elijah, this is per Carvana guidelines.

Great purchase experience, bad delivery and damaged vehicle to a degree, not disclosed. Pictures on Carvana's website of the vehicle I purchased, were blatantly not accurate on damage to the vehicle. We even zoomed in on all of the pictures to look closer for more damage than listed to be safe. The vehicle was still on the delivery truck in my driveway, as I was on the phone with disgust with Carvana talking to the lady that she apologized about (they record) the very obvious additional damage to the vehicle still sitting on the flatbed that wasn't disclosed and/or happened in transit somewhere. Then add to that, the brakes were completely bad, all 4 wheels were damaged/bent with bald tires on front and mismatched incorrect damaged newer tires with damaged beads on the rear, which is a no no for AWD systems.

Also, the front bumper cover was damaged with an apparently quick attempt for body shop repairs with no clear coat and sanding marks. Both front fenders, bumper and hood had been removed from a non disclosed accident as well, with factory witness marks disturbed (per my certified Fiat/Dodge mechanic) with shoddy attempts at repairs as well. There is a spot behind the drivers side passenger door as well that has the same bad paint/sanding/running paint fix not disclosed. The dead giveaway is, the paint just now curing and settling after 2 months plus and I know this from doing custom vehicles, as well as working for OEM manufacturers for many decades in paint, chassis and body. Some of it crackling and peeling under the hood/engine compartment.

Then, the hood only showed a minor single rock chip prior to delivery on the whole vehicle out of everything and I saved all the Carvana websites sales pictures of the vehicle as proof prior to delivery just in case we were duped after reading all the class action lawsuits for "disclosure" law issues many times now, among other things from them and their family owned Drivetime. When the car was still on the delivery truck, we noticed that the drivers side hood had a bend in the side of it that had been repainted and huge deep ding/smash in the left front with massive paint chips in it across the front of the hood, as well as big rock chips and peeling in those areas, then big rock chips on the front windshield. The car had also been driven by someone(based on the odometer reading) for about 6.7 miles to somewhere for "no reason" that wasn't supposed happen since it was flatbed delivered from their Cleveland area straight to us.

The representative said we had 7 days to decide to keep it, but the damages they would cover and contact the warranty company Silverrock, that they are some type of partial owner(?) in from what I read to take care of it. This is the only reason we kept it with the same Carvana rep still on the phone, assuring us it would be repaired thinking that they were reformed from their former shady practices in the class action lawsuits. Then, looked under the car, apparently their servicers for oil changes decided to take a cutting wheel and cut out a huge spot (left out a few bolts they decided to remove out and missing) in the front aerodynamic under panel to change the filter and oil instead of removing the under tray bolts with non spec Alfa Romeo products that will cause engine damage for a fact per Mopar/FIat service manuals.

Then it all clicked that the vehicle obviously had been wrecked after having to take it almost 2 hours away to an Alfa Romeo Dealership service department, at our own cost to have the entire computer system reset and reprogrammed, because they told us there that it must have been wrecked pretty bad apparently. Alfa Romeo service told us that a can bus sensor that controls major aspects of the vehicle in the front, must have been replaced in said accident not disclosed by any previous dealership or Carvana on the Carfax that Carvana provided. None of the infotainment stuff was working, although it was updated, this is when the dealership discovered the accident replacement of the can bus sensor. I have tried in vain for three months to have them fix it through the warranty company and the warranty company said they are not contracted to fix those damages, that contact Carvana back again and tell them what they said.

I've been getting the runaround and I just want to enjoy the Alfa Romeo that I was finally able to buy that I wanted for years. This is bittersweet at best now and I'm afraid that since they are in with Bridgecrest financing, Silverrock, that they will be facetious and take my vehicle illegally or cause much trouble for us after all the money I have put in it thus far out of my own pocket, just for complaining. They ruined one of the highlights of my life to finally buy a newer Alfa Romeo as a car aficionado. Just want the car fixed and I will refinance it at some point when it's fixed and away from anyone associated with Carvana and their family owned subsidiaries. Our attorneys and the State of Ohio Attorney Generals office is keeping a close eye on our situation fwiw to see if it gets resolved soon.

A very nice guy came with the Carvana truck, checked the car, I signed the transfer documents, got the check and went to Wells Fargo and I cashed the check. Easy. Honest transaction. The guy who came offered his work documents and driver license for me to take a picture. This company, at least for buying cars deserves better reviews.

We had hoped to avoid all the hassle of dealing with dealerships and just having a quick easy online experience. There were three instances where we had to deal with their Customer Service department and since it is completely through chat, it may actually be worse than dealing with people at a dealership. As indicated in their BBB reviews, DO NOT TRUST THE MULTI POINT INSPECTION!!!! While our issue was small and cost us ~$150, other people have had much more expensive issues. That inspection is just marked good to sell the vehicle. Do a VERY thorough examination upon receipt of you vehicle.

We were told for that issue we would get a call from their management and never did (didn't really expect to based on the chat). I would say there is no difference between them and an onsite dealership. Some people will have a nice easy experience but as soon as anything is off it will quickly turn into a nightmare. The woman who dropped our car off was very nice but DO NOT trust them to have any authority to speak for the company.

The frustration I experienced with my trade in/purchase really hinged on Carvana's lack of knowledge and lack of timely follow up. I decided on a vehicle and wanted to use my trade in because Carvana offered me more than anyone else had. I filled out all the info and spent several hours on the phone with multiple Carvana reps explaining to them that I live in MI and all of our vehicle titles are held electronically so I couldn't provide the title to my existing vehicle and they'd get it when they sent the payoff. I must've talked to 4-5 different people about this before someone who understood the process finally signed off on it.

I waited 3 days for my purchase agreement to provide to my bank so I could get my loan check and when I hadn't received it by Friday, I called Carvana to ask what the hold up was and they told me they needed my vehicle title. I spent another several hours talking to multiple people until someone finally agreed to do a 3 way call with my lien holder and verbally confirmed "Yes, we own the electronic title". They finally issue the purchase agreement EOD Friday. I thought I was all set at this point and would get the vehicle the following week, Carvana just needed a copy of my loan check.

I went to my bank first thing the following morning, get my loan check, send it to Carvana and just wait at this point. I get a message from Carvana that night telling me that because *I* failed to upload my information before the deadline (I didn't, Carvana failed to verify it in a timely manner) they were canceling my purchase and I'd have to re-do it/reschedule it. So I go through this whole process again, reschedule my pickup 2 weeks out, my deadline gets shifted to Wednesday. I end up having to call Carvana Wednesday morning because they *still* haven't verified my loan check and I force them to get someone from the bank on the phone and verify it while I'm waiting.

To Carvana's credit, they *did* offer me several thousand more than any dealer did for my vehicle and they *did* honor the price even with the flaws it had. The actual pickup process of the new vehicle was extremely easy and the attendant working there was very knowledgeable. It was everything leading up to this that was a nightmare.

Still more confusion as I was told the change was made two weeks prior to my pickup. NOPE. I am sure the folks at Carvana will issue my refund check as they promised. They did offer me a very fair Trade-In value for my car. I did have to drive 4 hours to pick up/drop off the car and pick up the new car. I was hoping to get it delivered. The new car was delivered in perfect condition, the staff was quite helpful and made the deal run very smoothly. I could not expect more. After researching potential sale prices for my vehicle, Carvana came back with a strong offer that matched or exceeded all others. Completing the online sale process was extremely simple, convenient, and quick - no issues. When the agent arrived, I had followed all of Carvana's guidelines to prep the car and gather documents, and the whole interaction took less than 10 minutes. The only issue we encountered was an unexpected delay between the sale and actual pick-up of the car.

We finalized the transaction around 1pm and I was told they would send a tow truck to pick up the car "by the end of the day." After our car spent all day on our driveway, around 10:15pm that night, a loud tow truck made its way down our cul-de-sac in the dark and spent the next hour connecting our car for a tow, awakening a neighbor who thought our car was being stolen or repossessed. Scheduling this pick-up during business/daylight hours would have been a strong plus and would have pushed this rating to 5 stars. Other than that one odd issue (which I'm guessing is more due to the towing company than Carvana), we loved the experience and would definitely do this again with another car sale.

As a customer, I've been thoroughly disappointed by my experience with Carvana. I purchased a 2015 car from the company in July 2022, only for it to turn into a nightmare. The car broke down twice within the first 10 days of ownership. It was gobbling up antifreeze and would stop abruptly in traffic. Over the course of 8 months, it's racked up nearly $10K in repair costs. It's spent almost a third of the past year in repair shops, making it more of a liability than a convenience.

When I reached out to Carvana for a resolution, the solution offered was far from fair. They proposed to purchase the vehicle back but for just half the car's market value, showing a blatant disregard for the financial distress and inconvenience I've been dealing with. I'd still be on the hook for over $10K in the loan, in addition to the $10K spent on repairs (harmonic balancer, booster, head gasket, etc) and I'd have to get another vehicle. I requested to speak to someone else.

It took roughly 3 weeks for an "executive" to reach out to me. She text initially but wouldn't respond to my replies then when she called, was confrontational telling me that I was "twisting up stories" when I summarized what she shared with me which was essentially, that I should've paid for the extended warranty plans when I purchased it. Perhaps but what kind of 100-point inspection are they doing that would permit a car leaking antifreeze on arrival?

Significant amount of stress. This entire experience has been far from the quality and service I expected from Carvana. It's disheartening to see that their commitment to customers appears to end the moment the sale is made. If you're considering buying from Carvana, I'd suggest you take my experience into account. Extended warranties shouldn't be a requirement to have a reliable vehicle. And we wonder why we're all stressed out.

Although the employee was late by 40 mins, he knocked out the examine and paperwork quickly and whatever I wasn't needed for he worked through without me. He was at my residence for 20 minutes and then told me next day a truck would pick up the vehicle. There was literally nothing else for me to do. This was my first experience using Carvana to trade in my car for a newer one. As a widow, I was very nervous going to a dealership for my purchase, so when I found out about Carvana and how I could take care of everything online and they would deliver my vehicle and take my old one, I was hooked. That's exactly how I wanted the process to go. I spent weeks shopping for the perfect car with the price range I wanted. Everything went pretty smooth, with the exception of a couple glitches. They advertise that my car would be delivered "the next day", however, that never appears to be the case according to the reviews. Wish they would just be honest and upfront with that, but anyway... They said the soonest I could have it delivered was 7 days out. No problem.

On the night before delivery I happen to check my Carvana account to make sure everything is on schedule and see a note that delivery has been delayed and it would be another 10 days before my delivery. I called and spoke with a representative who was very empathetic and kind. She explained that the hauler that was being used to deliver vehicles was broken down in Las Vegas and it was going to take them time to repair it. She assured me that my car was not harmed or damaged, but there were 10 cars on the hauler. I had no idea my car was coming from out of state. She calmed my worries. Which I appreciated.

I had already purchased insurance to start on the original ship date, but it was more hassle to change the date, so I paid for 10 days of insurance before even getting the car. I was really disappointed that I had to wait another 10 days, mainly because my old car didn't have any a/c and I had to drive to work everyday in 105-110 degree temps. Not fun... And it had 205k miles on it so was constantly concerned about it dying!

My new car got delivered 10 days later and the drivers were very kind and competent, patient with all my questions. I noticed immediately that there was not an Owners Manual in the car. I asked about it because I knew I would need it since I hadn't had a new car since 2004, and would need help figuring all the gadgets out. They said I could watch everything on YouTube. I want an Owners Manual! After buying a $20,000 vehicle, it should at least have an Owners Manual with it. That's really all I am asking for. Other than that, I really like my car, so far. My mechanic was on vacation during the 7 day period, so didn't get to check it over for me. That's because of the delivery delay! But no scary lights have come on, and thank you Jesus, everything appears good.

The car was delivered 3 1/2 hours late and the driver was in a rush to get back and spent about 15 minutes with me and the car. I noticed many exterior defects and a bad driver side sun visor. I contacted their warranty department about the defects and was told it would be $100 to get the visor fixed. It only costs $65. The car was in some sort of front end collision; misaligned panels, a home repair on the wiring harness and paint/clear coat runs and overspray everywhere. The car was 100% intentionally misrepresented and when I ask Carvana, the paperwork or repair requests can't be found. Stay away from this company. Run away and go somewhere else. They purposely misrepresent the cars and charge you to fix them. I'm considering court action to rectify these issues....

I went to 3 different dealers and Carvana bought my car for over $3k more than they were offering a trade in. Process took 15min, in and out with check in hand. I stayed long enough to watch 2 different customers come in and buy a car. 15 min each and it was a wow experience with the coin and all that. I spent no less than 4hrs at a dealer in my last 3 car purchases and hated every part of it. I will tell everyone I know to check out Carvana first when buying or selling a car. Even if you find a deal to buy a car for $1k less, consider your time and extra fees dealers will push on you, I’m almost positive you’ll come on top with Carvana.

Sold my vehicle to Carvana in June. I had gotten a quote at the beginning of May for my car of over $16,000. I just had to wait on my title. I then went back in to submit my information and the price for my car had dropped to a little over $13,000. Very disappointed in the drop in value in less than 4 weeks time. I still choose to sell to them after looking at other options were about the same or less. It was an easy process. Submitted my information and was contacted later that day that my documents were approved and scheduled an appointment for next day. Drop off was easy and I received my check that day, however it took a full 7 days to clear - which was annoying. The delay in the check clearing is why I didn't give Carvana a full 5 stars. Otherwise everything was great! Would totally use them again and recommend to others when selling their vehicle.

I was not given new tags, I am now two weeks with out a car I can drive, Carvana won't pay for a rental and has only offered $240.00 which still has not arrived. Carvana still can't give me a date when registration will be finished. I purchased my car on a Saturday. The initial process was smooth, and I moved through it with ease all the way to scheduling my delivery for the next Saturday. I was able to get proof of insurance uploaded by Monday afternoon. Carvana gave me a deadline of Thursday night to upload proof of financing. I was able to upload that on Wednesday afternoon. This is where things went wrong.

Carvana called me 30 mins after the deadline on Thursday night to tell me that THEY did not verify the proof of financing in time to meet the delivery appointment. The message claimed that the Carvana system did not put my documents in front of an agent until after the bank closed that day. I had now lost my delivery appointment for Saturday, and it would have to move to the next Wednesday.

I immediately called them back to chat with an agent who was unhelpful. I stated that I had done everything Carvana asked of me well within the timeline they provided. Since Carvana failed to hold up their end of the timeline, I asked for a refund of either the shipping fee, the delivery fee, or both. The agent claimed that was impossible, so I asked to speak with a manager. No manager was available since this was well after 9pm CDT, but I would receive a call from a manager within 48 hours. I also asked for a different delivery time, but the agent said none were available.

The next morning, I spoke with another agent who was much more helpful. The agent verified my financing with the bank while I was on the phone. Then, the agent attempted to find a new delivery appointment sooner than the following Wednesday and also offered to put me on a "cancellation list" for a sooner delivery. This agent confirmed that my manager call was listed in my account, and I should receive that soon.

Fast forward to the following Wednesday and my rescheduled delivery appointment... Obviously, the second agent was unable to find me a sooner delivery, so the vehicle arrived as scheduled. The delivery process was smooth. I was able to take a test drive, and I had plenty of time to look over the vehicle. I signed the final paperwork, handed over the check, and that was it.

Circling back to the issues with Carvana failing to verify my financing within their timeline, it's been a week since I took delivery of the car, and I still have not been called by a manager. I suspect it will never happen, and I'm resigned to the fact that their failure to uphold their timeline is something the consumer can do nothing about. Nor do they think it's a problem when they delay a vehicle delivery because they failed to meet a deadline. A solution to my experience would be for me to receive a call from a Carvana manager who can refund my delivery fee since the original delivery was not upheld through no fault of my own.

A solution for future situations like this would be to provide more realistic timelines for delivery based on average consumer performance for providing proof of insurance and financing. If you give a deadline to the consumer, but that deadline also includes some internal Carvana tasks that the consumer has no control over, then you should reevaluate your timelines. Give yourself more time so that the consumer is not inconvenienced.

Online document signing means no high pressure sales tactics, we only had to sign tax, title, license for the state of Illinois once we arrived. We were on our way home 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. It was fun, exciting to watch the car come down (no delivery in our small town area so we did the pick up at the vending machine), the staff was friendly, and the car was detailed beautifully. 7 day test drive gives you plenty of time to see if you like your new car and can return if you decide. It was by far the easiest car buying experience and will definitely use next time we're in the market for a new vehicle.

I recently purchased a rather hard to find vehicle through Carvana. Upon delivery (I picked it up at a Carvana delivery location), I immediately noticed significant damage that was not disclosed on the Carvana site. After reviewing with the Carvana rep, he agreed that it appeared to be damage from transit, and assured me that Carvana had a process to get my vehicle restored to 'pre transit' shape. It appeared that something had swiped the vehicle while on the transport vehicle, and scratched the headlight, mirror, window, trim and luggage rack.

Initial conversations with their insurance (SilverRock) and Carvana reps left me disgusted that they deemed the NEW damage as normal wear and tear. I finally was able to get a Carvana Advocate manager to understand the issue and resolve it somewhat. They are having about 50% of the damage repaired, and I'm going to do the other 50%. If I didn't really want the vehicle, and it wasn't so hard to find, I'd send it back without hesitation. I doubt I'll ever use them again. Many people have asked me about my experience and I've been very honest and told them where they dropped the ball. I would have been their biggest cheerleader had they only lived up to their promises and done the right thing.

I really wanted to like Carvana, but every step of the way has been multiple difficulties, wasted time, and money. I decided to try Carvana and between my husband and myself, we have spent over 30 hours dealing with the various snafus and miscommunication (and that is a very generous estimate). Two weeks after the purchase, I am now dealing with Carvana trying to get the truck registered in a different state from mine. Save yourself the time, stress, and aggravation and go to your local dealership. At least you know what you are getting, and you will complete the purchase same day.

The Good: Carvana does have a large variety of vehicles to choose from. The actual exchange of vehicles went surprisingly easy. The delivery person (Danny) was great to work with, and the process was fast. When you can get a hold of a customer service rep (not the call center) they are friendly and helpful. (Shout out to you Eric on 6/13/23).

The Bad: First, we traded in a vehicle and paid cash on the remainder. We got an email that the car hold was expired and reposted for sale, when they immediately transferred money from our bank account the next business day! I had to make some calls and emails to get that fixed. The truck was delivered with bad breaks that should have never passed an inspection. I called a representative who assured me that this would fall under their 100 day/400mile warranty. Since I needed a vehicle (Carvana now had possession of mine), I decided to take it in for repairs to a (SilverRock warranty company) preferred auto repair shop (PepBoys). PepBoys inspected the truck and stated it needed front and rear brake work.

SilverRock said it was to be covered under the Toyota warranty, but it wasn’t, because it was considered a wearable part. SilverRock then stated that they needed a letter from Toyota stating such, even though it is already written in the Toyota warranty. Toyota wouldn’t get on the phone with SilverRock unless the truck was at their dealership and the truck was partially dismantled at PepBoys. On a Friday, my husband and I spent the entire day making multiple calls to: Carvana, SilverRock, Toyota, and Pep Boys. The entire day! We ended up just paying almost $1,000 out of pocket to get the damn truck that I needed to haul a trailer that weekend. I took the truck to the Toyota dealership the next week and had them get on the phone with SilverRock regarding the warranty issue.

After submitting even more paperwork for reimbursement, I am now waiting for a check in the mail….pending final review of the claim. This morning, I woke to an email stating that I need to notarize a document (I already did this two weeks ago) in order to get the truck registered in PA…..I live in NM. So, once again I’m on the phone and the computer trying to get things fixed. So far I’ve been at this for two hours. I am exhausted with this entire process!!!

This process has been an overwhelming experience. When I sold my car it went absolutely smooth. No problem whatsoever. The buying side was not so smooth. No one to talk to for clarity other than Sabatian, which he has been programmed to make smart comments. I have been told twice after completing everything that was required of me that my time has ran out and now you have to pay for shipping and now I cannot get the vehicle on the requested day. I asked a question before pick up date about the hanging headliner. No responded back to me. There is nothing easy to find or go back to on this app/website. Come to find out that the headliner is hanging, the oil pump is bad, the mileage is off by 30,000, no fluid would come out the wiper sprayer, not to mention the interior of the car was filthy and it’s something going on with the suspension.

Although they’re willing to fix the wrong but who has time to purchase a car and leave it in the shop to get 1 thing fix when there more to look at. As for the suspension they said he drove the car and didn’t find anything. They tell you that you have 7 days to return the vehicle but they fail to tell you at that same time it's 7 days or 400 miles. It took me half those miles to get home from picking up the vehicle and was only notified of the 400 miles after I agreed to take the vehicle. If Carvana do 150 point inspection to each vehicle. Why are so many things wrong after delivery. Why are the consumers responsible for get the car evaluated after purchased? And to be told that the sell price will increase because it's 30,000 fewer miles on the car than they thought.

I can’t even imagine how in the world Carvana didn’t find that out. I noticed that from day one. Thinking you all will notice it before release the car. Most certainly wasn’t the case. I had to finally say something to the guy once he asked me to sign the DMV paperwork. The pictures they took to advertise for sale showed the 41,000 but the paperwork shows 71,000. I knew if there was a discrepancy at the DMV with miles. Titling and registration would be very difficult at the correct mileage. So I asked the representative about that not only did it take another hour or so to get the vehicle. It ruined the whole Carvana’s vending machine experience because he brought the car down twice to verify what was on the vehicle. Then he told me that it will increase the cost of the vehicle by a few thousands of dollars.

He said their vehicles with that amount of miles starts at 25,000 to 26,000, I shook my head and explain that the contract I signed didn’t have that price on it. He was like neither did the miles. He then said I can leave the vehicle there and Carvana would have it checked out or I can take it for my 7 days 400 miles and Caravan will contact me. Needless to say Carvana never contacted me. They called later that evening but my phone rung once and the name Carvana popped up and it disconnected. He promised someone will reach out by Wednesday. Not a one. I went in. Found out information about the warranty company and what to do from there. So technically I didn’t have 7 days or a complete 400 miles to figure out if something else would prevent me from wanting the vehicle.

There is no way carvana serviced this vehicle before selling the vehicle. They leave it the responsibility up to the buyer and that's why they allow the 7days without informing the consumers of the 400 miles until they agree to leave with the vehicle. The Representative from one of the local shop stated they have a carvana car on the rack right now with the entire suspension system is bad and he just past his 7 days. It's awful that kind of responsibility and burden are plans on the consumers. Hopefully if this is the future way of buying a vehicle, it is certainly when I no longer exist on earth or I’m no longer in the car buying mode. It's too much red tape and the responsibility is on the consumer to have the vehicle checked out before the 7 days end. Leaving the consumer with only a few days to drive the vehicle because it's left at the shop. Too much trickery!

My wife and I were excited not only for a new car but the overall Carvana experience. The site suggested an earlier delivery date. Could not schedule the date until after the purchase. Of course, the suggested date was not available. Scheduled a pickup date and processed all required paperwork including payment as required. Everything was processed a weeks before the scheduled pickup date. I checked the site every day and received an email from Carvana that everything was complete. No call or any notice from the company. I checked the site hours before the pickup. It wanted me to submit another down payment. Checked my account, funds had been released to Carvana days before.

I tried the chat, the representative demanded the down payment that Carvana had already been paid. I could not send any proof through the chat. Asked to speak to a representative by phone. The chat representative refused and demanded that I authorize another down payment thru the site or I would lose my car. She promised that it would not process twice. I'm no fool! I drove to Carvana, checked with the representative on-site. He said no delivery had been scheduled. I showed him screenshots from my phone of the completed deal email and site confirmation. He could not help. I asked for a number to call. He could not help. Very frustrated and disappointed, I called the wife to tell her the news.

I looked at my phone history and saw a call from Carvana that I received the days earlier when I sent in the payment check around the second day of my Carvana experience. I called, got a representative and she said that my payment was received but did not process on their end. So they canceled the sale without telling me anything. If I had not checked the site prior to pickup. My family and I would have showed up for a car we paid for already and been disappointed. The representative pushed the deal through and I had to set up another pickup date days later.

The pickup: It's been about 3 weeks since we bought a car we have not laid hands on. We're still pumped about the Carvana vending machine experience. We show up a couple hours before just to make sure the car is there this time. We arrive back as scheduled and watch other cars get detailed and loaded in the machine. My family arrives and we video the experience. The car descends from the upper deck, it's dusty and dirty both inside and out. The attendant apologizes and puts the blame on dust in the machine. Outside maybe, inside impossible with the windows and doors closed with the amount of dust inside. It had not been cleaned at all. There was a lack of communication and difficulty in contacting anyone to help. We love the car but definitely do not recommend the Carvana online experience.

I purchased a 2021 Chevy Silverado RST 6 1/2 FT bed with DFM from their site. There were a few usual delays during purchasing. Nothing major. Fast forward to delivery day. I receive a text from the driver with a 15-minute time frame for their arrival. The pickup spot is 20 minutes from my home so I drive there and wait. I wait a full hour beyond the pickup window before texting the number. I get no response so continue to wait. I watch the driver pull into the parking lot 1 hour and 10 minutes after the arrival time they gave me. At which point they texted me they had arrived. I go to talk to the driver and get a laughing apology with a joke about how they needed to stop for an energy drink. Annoying but easily ignored, things happen...

An awkward experience from here until I test-drove. I get back and look over the truck. Everything looks okay minus some obvious scratches I notice that I did not think were marked on the website. I had purchased a vehicle from Carvana previously (2019) and they were excellent about fixing things like this so I didn't really think much of it. I sign the paperwork and drive the truck home.

The first indication of an issue was when I get home. I had a few parts waiting for the truck including a bed cover which oddly did not fit. I do some research and decode the VIN number to realize the truck is actually a 5 3/4 FT bed. Not the 6 1/2 FT bed I was told the truck had. I open a complaint about the bed size through their chat support and wait to hear back. No one contacts me for 24 hours so I reach back out. I am told they have agreed the truck was incorrectly labeled and have agreed to compensate me. The offer I was given was a $100 check. This honestly felt like a slap to the face.

I decline the $100 dollar check and counter with an offer of my own. I ask to simply have the shipping fees waived to return the vehicle. Clearly, it's not my fault they marked specs incorrectly and would like to return the truck. I don't believe I should have to lose any money in this situation. The only thing I could have done that I didn't do would have been to decode the VIN on something like KBB before I purchased and cross-referenced every feature from their website.

They refuse my counter offer stating the shipping costs are all nonrefundable. At this point, I have a choice to either be out around $1200 ($190 to get it to my state, around $500 to get it to me, and around $500 to get it back for the return) or take the $100 and just forget about it. I found both options unacceptable and ask to have a manager call me. The support chat tells me the entire time I have no real option and the manager is going to tell me the same thing. Even so, I insist and they assure me a manager will call in 24 hours. This call never occurred and my 7-day return window expired. I accepted this is my truck now and contacted them for the $100. The chat support actually told me "my gift" will take about 1 month to be sent to me.

I'm extremely disappointed but now I need to deal with the obvious scratches/gouges in the paint that were not marked (they had fine scratches marked on 1 side, nothing on the other side, nothing on the tailgate). I submit claims for all the scratches (1 deeper gouge on each rear panel, scratches on both sides at random spots, and a small dent in the tailgate with a scratch in it). These complaints with picture proof are all denied. Even though the scratches weren't marked on the site and no pictures were provided. The claim states that even though they were not marked anywhere they have been deemed normal wear and tear.

To add to the incorrect features being labeled, I also noticed after this occurred and was checking features that the truck was listed with DFM. This truck according to the window sticker from Carfax does not have DFM. Another feature they mismarked. Unfortunately, the original window sticker had DFM clearly marked but did not have the bed size listed.

Not very happy with the customer service. The vehicle was repainted bumper to bumper by Carvana prior to the sale of the van. Stevie Wonder could have done a better job. There is overspray, drips, runs, peeling and a ton of trash in the paint. This is not in one spot either. Now they are saying, "The van meets Carvana's standards for acceptable wear and tear guidelines." And Silverrock/Carvana customer service were no help at all. Stand by what you sell! The pictures are from all over the van. If you would like to discuss this matter, please give me a call.

Worst experience I’ve had. Ordered a car. It was cancelled by Carvana, never got email, text or a call. Redid the order and got cancelled again. 3rd time, now it’s a technical issue on Carvana side, and was told if it’s not fixed before the deadline (less than 3 hours) I will have to place the order again and have to wait another week. This whole process will take over a month. Should have been done in less than 10 days. But hey they apologized for the inconvenience… Which makes up for everything… I’m going elsewhere. I can walk into a dealership and be done in less than 2hours.

More than 24 hours later, online chat sessions and multiple phone calls to Carvana, nobody seemed to know what was going on, how to contact a towing company to pick it up.

The last associate I spoke with said he would e-mail or call when he knew when the vehicle would be picked up, but that never happened. I received a text out of the blue more than 24 hours after my "pick-up" window on a Sunday at 10:48 PM asking the latest they could call me to pick up the vehicle. May 2023, I traded my vehicle in and topped up to get another used car. I read their 150-point inspection, and it showed everything passed except a couple of exterior dings /scratches. On the 2nd day of having the car, I heard some clicking noise on the bottom under the driver's seat when driving on the freeway, I took it to Meineke the repair center designated by Carvana's 90 days warranty service. It was serviced under Silver Rock. The Meineke people said there was no issue with the clicking noise but the brakes are bad and need to be replaced. The Meineke guy showed me there are grooves in the wheels and said it shouldn't be like this. I was quoted $800 plus for 2 front brakes.

Since I have 90 days I asked if I have to pay to get the brakes fixed. The Meineke guy told me Silver Rock denied 99% of the claim. I asked him to call in anyways and true enough, Silver Rock denied the claim saying it's a maintenance issue and not a failure issue. I contacted Carvana and told them I felt cheated because they should have given me a heads up on the 150 pt inspection that once I get the vehicle I have to fork out another $800+ to fix the front brakes. Carvana told me they can't do anything about it since Silver Rock denied the claim.

I was told by the Meineke guy that he would NEVER buy a car from Carvana given his experience that 99% of the claims are denied. So folks, be prepared to dish out $$$$ to fix whatever issues on the vehicle that you get from Carvana. What a bad deal. They lied about the 150-point inspection, 90-day warranty is a joke. I purchased a vehicle thru Carvana, which was promised to be delivered in 8 days for a $900 shipping fee. On day 8, I received an email stating the delivery would take an additional 2 weeks. During that waiting period, there was no email correspondence from Carvana, leaving me to wonder if the vehicle was actually going to arrive on the second date which was promised. For $900, I could've shipped the vehicle myself or driven to its location and picked it up in person. I paid for convenience and got zero value from them. When I asked if I could pick the vehicle up in the next state where it was sitting, supposedly undergoing inspection, I was told that was not possible.

When the delivery day arrived, the vehicle, which was supposedly undergoing a 150-point inspection, arrived in poor condition. The interior was filthy. I'm talking about food matted into the carpeting, greasy fingerprints on the interior, a very dirty engine block, and much more. In addition, there were 2 service engine lights on the dashboard. One service light for there being no wiper fluid, and the second for a faulty starter battery. All of these issues were easy to fix but should have been caught if there had actually been a 150-point inspection. Clearly, that inspection never happened.

The day after delivery, Carvana began emailing, texting, and even calling me twice a day, asking me to submit a power of attorney letter to "complete the registration" and saying that "there was an error with my registration." I would need to have the power of attorney letter notarized and signed. Here's the thing: the vehicle shipped to me with permanent plates, valid tags through 1 year, and a state registration in my name. Registration had been completed, but for some reason, Carvana had faulty records, which I had to do extra work to correct in order to stop the incessant communications coming from them. I had to take hours off work to drive to a notary and pay to have the letter notarized. This was totally unnecessary - the state had already granted my permanent registration.

When I complained about all of these problems, Carvana promised to issue a $100 check for detailing service. I live in Chicago, where detailing costs well over $300. I have not yet received a check. I may not have had a better experience going to a dealership, but at least they might have been more accountable if things had gone wrong in the process. Carvana makes false promises, skips inspections, delivers late, screws up paperwork that you have to fix, and does almost nothing to solve the problems.

Overall, very happy; super easy process, person picking up car was polite and didn't haggle, super fast payment. A couple of caveats:

    * First pickup attempt failed; a person called, I missed the call for fifteen minutes, and they had to leave and reschedule. I wasn't expecting to have a short confirmation window for what I thought would be an in-person appointment, and being at home during the work week is hard for me, so I would have appreciated more heads up about my need to watch my phone. The rescheduled time was almost a week later and was complicated for me to get someone at home for.

    * In general: hard to get either an update on the pickup time or talk to a real person on short notice from the website. That could be improved. An estimated time of arrival or a tracking page would be nice.

    * Person who picked up the car locked the keys in a lockbox and left the car for a tow truck to pick up, which arrived two days later (a day after we were told it would); in the meantime the car (sitting on a restricted street as requested) got a ticket. We didn't have to pay it, so no harm no foul, but seems like the sort of thing that could have been avoided?

Outside of that, though: the pay was practically what I was expecting from a private buyer, we didn't get any grief about paint scratches or anything, and the registration process was super easy. So much less scammy feeling than dealership or direct-to-buyer sales I've done in the past. The pickup experience should be improved, but outside of that caveat, I'd happily encourage friends to use Carvana to sell their cars.

I had a trade set up and this was on a Friday May 12, 2023. Saw someone in a Walmart parking lot ran into my trade I had and did a little damage. So I called and the money had not gone through yet. So Monday it clears my bank and it took them 4 days to do a refund!!!! That's called holding people's money for interest for 4 days. Imagine 4 days at $3000 for 10 people that's $30,000 they are holding in their bank for interest before submitting that refund! That is good money for them. I thought it was going to be a breeze but I won't deal with them anymore. I work hard for my money and so do others and to hold on to people's money that long is criminal. My bank even said that was not normal and should not happen.

I purchase my first car through Carvana and even though I had a good experience I feel like I was lied to when it came to the 7 day return policy they claim to have. I picked up my car on 5/12 and was given until 5/18 to return the car if I didn't like it and if you really count that is only 6 days. Tried getting someone on the phone to discuss this but the hold time became a bit too lengthy for me to just sit and wait. Other than that I have no issues with how they handle things. Have a few friends who are in the process of purchasing their new vehicles through Carvana now after seeing how hassle free their process is.

I had almost no problems purchasing my car, until the very end. I paid cash for the car instead of financing it. Carvana asked for some final documents, I uploaded them as directed. The money was deducted from account the next day. I decided to check 2-3 days later to see if I could change the day of delivery. I couldn’t find any trace of my purchase. I called them and they told me the purchase was canceled because those last documents were uploaded to a miscellaneous folder. I would not have any control of that. Fortunately that car was still available, so she processed the order again, but that pushed the delivery of my car out another week. She said there was nothing that could be done to rectify the system error.

I thought was weak customer service, because they never refunded my money with this error. I went almost two weeks without the car after I paid for it. The guy who brought me my new car and picked up my old car was super nice! He did everything right. I like how I received alerts along the way to remind me of everything that would occur with each step. I just didn’t appreciate waiting almost two weeks after purchase paid to get the car without any recompense to make up for the one issue that caused delay. Otherwise it would’ve been 5 stars.

My car was totaled in an accident when hit by another driver. After paying the loan from that car and not the best credit I was in a real bad situation and would not have been able to upgrade my vehicle without Carvana. I ended putting $600 down on a 2015 Chevy Equinox that was fully loaded. I was skeptical the entire time and just assumed I would end up returning it. That was not the case at all, it came down the vending as beautiful as advertised with all the features advertised and drives like a dream.

I had it inspected and my mechanic agreed that this is an excellent vehicle and has been well-maintained. Carvana not only allowed me to upgrade my vehicle but got me out of a really bad situation that could have impacted my ability to get work and transport my family as needed. The entire experience was customer friendly and left me with peace of mind. Carvana stayed ahead of the sale the entire time making it stress-free for me. After a great experience selling our lease to Carvana, we checked with them on our other leased vehicle and were quite surprised by the great offer we received. At $4k over the lease payoff, we couldn't pass the offer up. We ended up finding a used vehicle with low miles and a fair price. After securing funds for the used vehicle from a local credit union, we proceeded to accept the offer on our lease and do a "trade" for the used vehicle. Unfortunately, after we completed the order we received a call that stated they couldn't accept a lease as a trade-in. This meant we'd have to do two separate transactions and be charged by our state additional sales tax. During the entire offer and order process, we were constantly shown in green boxes advertisements of saving additional money by trading vs just selling our lease. The offer results page and email included this advertisement as well.

Apparently there is one line of text on the request offer form page that omits the word trade-in under the loan/lease description popup. The higher-up customer service representative used this as their way out of not honoring all the advertisements we had received that in no way stated a lease could NOT be used for a trade-in. Since during the application process to get the offer of buying out our lease, I provided details that it was a lease, who owned the lease, the payoff amount and monthly payments, their system should've omitted the advertisements about the trade-in savings. They wouldn't offer any sort of compensation even though it was pretty clear false advertisement and a huge lack of clearly stating that leases are not acceptable trade-ins. They are apparently "working" on their system to not allow orders to go through like ours did if a lease is trying to be used as a trade-in.

Luckily we liked the used car we found, so we proceeded with the process and did two separate transactions. We were lucky enough to get things scheduled at the exact same date/time. We only had to go to their location once to complete the process. We were able to test drive the used vehicle before completing paperwork, just to make sure we were happy with it. Everything was smooth sailing from there, I think it only took about 30 minutes from start to finish (including the test drive)!

Overall we are happy with our 3 interactions with the Carvana buying and selling experience. We have recommended them to family and co-workers.

This is going to be TLDR, so... After a lot of research I decided on a 2023 truck which appeared to be in showroom condition with very low miles, trading in my 2021 Cherokee also with very low miles, also in showroom condition. Delivery was on time, up to that point the transaction was fine. First problem was the truck was delivered with only one keyfob, yet was photographed and listed as having 2. The delivery agent said they would find, or order me a new keyfob. So far I have received an email from what appears to be an aftermarket key company, saying my order will be filled by JULY, which is a month and a half away. Lovely. I completed the sale and took possession, only to find, literally minutes after the Carvana truck left, that there was a gash in the driver's rear tire and the tread could be pulled away exposing the belts.

Carvana support told me I have to make a claim through their third party warranty company "Silver Rock", pay the $100 deductible, which they supposedly would reimburse me for. So I followed the required procedure, took the car in to a "preferred" shop and got the estimate. The next day the warranty company denied the claim for being a "wear item" - now infuriated, and after about a dozen calls to Carvana and Silver Rock reps who were willing to listen, but with no authority to act, I finally got a supervisor at Silver Rock who told me the tire shop never said it was a safety issue and since the tire still held air, it wouldn't be approved. I then spoke to the tire shop who said they absolutely did say so.

After getting that same warranty supervisor back (after being first told she wasn't in the office that day, but somehow appeared after I pushed), and told her about my conversation with the shop, she said they approved the claim as a "one time courtesy" - wonderful. But wait: The tire shop called me saying they approved the replacement, but only for a cheap "Ironman" tire, not the original Firestone Destination LE2 tire that was on the truck. As anyone knows, you DO NOT mismatch tires on the same axle.

So at that point I was so fed up with the entire process, I seriously considered returning the truck and walking away from Carvana forever. However, I did take the truck to a trusted technician I know, who gave it a thorough inspection and said it was in as good condition as it looks, and recommended I keep it. So I did. And went to a local Firestone shop and paid for a new tire myself. However it was the first and will be the last time I deal with Carvana, purely for the complete lack of after sales support.

I recently sold my car to Carvana. Their process to get an offer is relatively simple, however once you submit the information to get your offer, there is no way to edit the details, other than the odometer reading. In my case, I originally just wanted to get an idea of how much Carvana would offer. However, I didn't initially enter all the features of my vehicle, so once I was ready to proceed I attempted to update the features to get an accurate, updated offer. Couldn't be done. I even contacted customer service.

They told me I had to wait until the offer expired (7 days) and start a new one. Fortunately, I had another email I could use, so I just started a new profile and created the new offer using all the relevant information about the vehicle to get the revised (higher) offer. The rest of the process was fairly straight forward, although it took me a couple of attempts before the documents they requested uploaded properly and were shown as received by their system.

When dropping off the vehicle at their location, there was only one small sign indicating where to go, and I wasn't sure I was at the right place. No sign on the building, no signs in the parking lot, no one there to speak to... I finally called the representative that had contacted me earlier and he came out to greet me. The rest of the process went smoothly. Answered a few questions, signed a few forms. The funds were sent to my account via ACH as promised by the next morning.

In the package you received from the driver that delivers the car it states in FL you can transfer a plate that is expire as long as it is less than 12 months. I still do not know where we are at and whether my plate will transfer. I was told they cannot transfer to an expired plate period. I get an e-mail telling me my registration will be mailed to Davenport IA a place I lived 3 years ago. I must of filled out 10 different documents giving the address in FL and the address in NC. I am helpless right now with the outcome.

When I received the vehicle both key FOBs had problems. One worked sometime, the other not at all. I change the batteries to get them to work properly. I had a battery service alert light. I went to the nearest Auto Zone pull the battery had it tested and had to replace it. I could not wait on either challenge due to the fact I needed to get back to NC 761 miles away. I will wait for this sale to play out. Pick up the pieces and move on. Carvana was a great company. I believe they got too big and have lost the customer service edge. Their executive branch needs to conduct an investigation and correct their challenges. The only reason in my mind they are still doing business is their product and price.

On Tuesday, April 4th I initiated a trade-in with Carvana, using Navy Federal CU as my 3rd party financing as they had also just financed the purchase of my trade-in. Wednesday, the 5th - Carvana underwriting called me to go over the details of my trade and let me know what the value of the check would need to be that I would go and get from my CU. I went that day and retrieved the check from my bank which happens to be 2 counties over. Wednesday night, I called Carvana to ensure I knew EXACTLY what would happen when my vehicle was delivered on Saturday, April 9th. Austin from Carvana and Laura from Navy Federal Credit Union were in a 3-way call with me to ensure all info was correct and I knew exactly what the transaction would look like.

Laura explained to Austin that since NFCU would be absolving the loan on my trade, Carvana should enter the trade in if it had NO lien on the vehicle. Austin re-entered my trade and it was in my favor by increasing the trade value from 9375 to 10,170. I was told the NEW check value and Thursday went BACK to my CU to pick up another check. Thursday night, underwriting calls me AGAIN to let me know that the vehicle WOULD have to be entered with the lien and that ANOTHER check would have to be acquired.

At this point, I have already left work early THREE TIMES. You are gonna think I'm lying when I tell you that Friday, while I am at work, I speak with Megan from Carvana underwriting who tells me the check I uploaded is short and I will need to pick up ...yep...another check. I call my CU and get an agent who is trying to figure out the exact numbers with Megan before I go two counties over for the FOURTH time because apparently underwriting is SERIOUSLY confused about how to calculate. I go Friday, directly after work, pick up a FOURTH check. Friday night as my "window" is closing, underwriting calls to ask me if my husband can also sign the check and us re-upload the image. I get this done only to have my delivery pushed TWO WEEKS to April 21st.

On Friday, April 20th, Ashley from the Fairburn GA delivery location calls to tell me they are short delivery drivers and wanted to know if I wanted to come pick up my car. I said yes, just so I could be done with this whole nightmare - but, it would only get better from here!! 3 weeks after having uploaded ALL of my documents, Carvana recognizes that underwriting MISSED the fact that my husband -who is my co-signer- has an out of state license because we had just moved to GA 3 weeks prior. Ashley states they can't release the car to me until he either gets his GA license OR I can redo the entire loan. I am about to lose my flipping mind at this point. My husband immediately orders a birth certificate from LA, but it will take 10-16 business days to arrive.

We push the delivery to April 28th in hopes that he might attain his GA license by then...no dice. My husband has his mom drive from South MS to LA to get his birth certificate from vital records and overnights it at the rate of $68. On Thursday, April 27th, I upload my husband's temporary license. Friday, my driver calls to tell me he will deliver between 5 and 530 pm. It seems that FINALLY I will get this car delivered - but no, that's not the case. At 4:47 on Friday, April 28th the driver calls back to say he is about to go over his DOT time and will NOT be able to make the delivery as scheduled...that he will have to push it until Saturday. I am so glad that I am DONE with this company and this nightmare of a buying experience. A truly HORRIBLE, waste of my time. I missed time at work, had to drive 2 counties over FOUR times, and carried insurance on a car I didn't have possession of for 3 weeks!

But the transaction was just as they said, it took maybe 15 minutes and provided an Uber compliments of Carvana for the ride home. And received the check, no negotiation or questions etc. Just straight out 100% professional, seamless and stressless transaction! Thank you Carvana!!!

I picked the time to have the car delivered (picked up) and the arrival was actually 30 minutes early. Money was in the bank Monday morning after a Saturday pickup. For sure, and 10/10 experience for me.

I got an online quote from Carvana but I overestimated the mileage. When I sent in the picture of the odometer which showed the car actually had fewer miles than I had stated on the original estimate, they raised their offer. Drove to their office drop off the car and they gave me a check for the amount they said they would. Didn't take more than ten to fifteen minutes to do the deal. Carvana also offered me over $1000 more than Carmax did to purchase my used vehicle.

A most rewarding and pleasant experience: After an insulting offer for my trade-in by a dealership, I solicited bids from 4 car buying companies. Carvana's offer for my 2014 BMW x5 was twice my dealership's and $2,000 more than other bids. Upon accepting their bid, Carvana supplied a detailed, but simplified, list of instructions to prepare for the transaction. Upon submitting all the required information online, I was supplied with a date and time my car would be picked up at my residence and a list of all the paperwork that would be completed. A friendly and professional Carvana representative arrived at our home on time. After a brief look at our car he explained in detail each document we executed, after which he provided the agreed upon check. All questions we had were fully answered. He provided his cell # in the event we had more. Our vehicle was loaded on a truck and taken away.

We received an offer for 2012 Cadillac SRX of $3950. Yet they are selling the exact same model for $18,990. The mileage on our trade in is 120K, the one they are selling is 90K. It's understandable that our offer would be lower than what they're selling it for but lower by 15K is inconsistent. I have documentation to prove this if you need it. When I reached out to them they were unwilling to speak to me by phone at all. They kept saying that it's all done by the system and nothing can be done. It's great that things can be done purely online now. But they do need some sort of support system in human form that has the ability to make human decisions. Extremely disappointed and we will never use this company.

First off my down payment was $200, they took $300 from my account and now I have to wait up to a month to get that back. When I picked up my car, the gentleman I worked with was awesome! Very friendly and helpful! But the detail and inspection/maintenance department need a lot of work!!! Something had been spilt in the vehicle, all of the buttons on the door panel were sticky, you can see splatters on the sun visor and all down the driver's door. I fixed the sticky buttons myself and cleaned up the splatters BUT the report says you detailed this vehicle and clearly you did not!!!

My front tire has a chunk out of it, so I guess I will be purchasing 2 new tires as well. You put 2 new ones on the back, why did you skip replacing the one that had a huge chunk out of it?? I knew I was buying a used vehicle, I did not expect perfection!! I did however expect that the vehicle would be wiped down. The splatters simply took 1 swipe of a damp cloth to clean up. I love my new car, I really do. BUT if you’re going to tell me it was detailed and inspected then I expect it to be detailed and inspected.

I sold my first car during the height of Covid - a second older car that I was happy to get rid of because of not using it at all. It was a hassle free experience for me. The second time I sold my ICE in order to buy an EV. I would have bought from Carvana directly but they didn't have what I wanted in stock. The process was extremely smooth and worry-free. Carvana is fantastic. If you hate dealing with salesmen and dealerships; most car purchases take up an entire day. Carvana saves you from having to waste an entire day. It is super easy, and super convenient. HOWEVER, the listed scratches and cosmetic defects were not even close to what I saw when my car was delivered. The pictures they show you don't do them justice. My car also needs a new blender door actuator, and the Bluetooth does not function (again, these issues were not mentioned in the listing). I bought the 3rd party warranty through SilverRock, which I now regret. There aren't any decent car shops or dealerships that accept SilverRock warranties.

I even called a repair shop that took the warranty, but they refuse to address the actuator or Bluetooth problems because they are "Ford specific" (it's a 2017 Ford Fiesta). So basically I have to fix these problems myself, or take the car to a Ford dealership and pay out of pocket for the repairs. I'm pretty disappointed. Carvana is fine to use if you're not terribly picky about cosmetic defects, or you can handle minor repairs yourself. I would skip on the extended warranties for sure. And I would definitely recommend not buying anything with more than 10k miles, who knows what condition the other vehicles are in.

This is the second car I am purchasing through Carvana. I had an excellent experience the first time a year ago when I purchased a car for myself. So when it came time to purchase a car for my son I naturally chose to buy through Carvana. On 4/5/23 they brought the first car I purchased for my son. This car worked for a couple of days and then broke down days after receiving it. I called and spoke with a supervisor who was very apologetic and offered to exchange my vehicle with another vehicle which I did. What I still don’t understand is how the car went through a 150-point inspection and then broke down days later. I tried to be understanding and remain calm even though I had missed a day of work just to receive this car. The second vehicle was scheduled to be delivered on 4/19/23. So I took a second personal day off of work.

Two days before the car was scheduled to be delivered I got a message saying it was delayed due to a logistic problem. This was extremely upsetting as I already scheduled a day off of work, and was paying for a rental car that was suppose to be returned. In addition the first broken vehicle was still in my driveway and I was told they couldn’t pick it up until the second car was dropped off. I also was required to keep car insurance on the broken car. I am also being charged $990 for shipping for a car that can’t be shipped on time! At this time I called and spoke with multiple supervisors about my frustrations and I was offered NO compensation.

I was only told that in the fine print delivery times are not guaranteed and the only thing they can do is help me reschedule the delivery. So my delivery was then rescheduled for 4/24/23, this time I made sure it was scheduled for after work as I can’t keep taking days off and already wasted 2 days off with this whole process. I extended my car rental. I’m continuing to pay car insurance on a broken vehicle and it’s taking space up in my driveway. 4/24/23 comes. I made 4 phone calls to Carvana to ensure this delivery went smoothly. The car never came!!! Customer service is basically saying there’s nothing they can do but email the delivery location. There’s No phone number.

They continue to refuse to compensate me. At this point, I should be refunded my car insurance cost, be paid storage fees for the broken car left here, be refunded for shipping for a car that isn’t being shipped in a timely matter, and reimbursed for rental car fees. Carvana has done nothing to make me feel like they appreciate my business. They keep making mistakes but me as the consumer is the only one paying for their mistakes!!! I am extremely stressed out, very dissatisfied, and emotionally exhausted from this experience. Ultimately Carvana has failed multiple times with this purchase and left a bad taste in my mouth. I would no longer be recommending Carvana!!!!

I've been in the market for a car for about 3 months. Carvana's app did make it easier to look for vehicles while out and about, I found one I liked. Ordered it and after a few minutes I genuinely all set besides insurance. I had a delivery date. They kept me updated on all events and even sent me some helpful information. However when the vehicle did arrive there was some small minor damaged areas there were not reported on the site. Like a dent on the front fender. The seal of the doors falling off and worst of all a small crack on the windshield. All of this besides the crack were negligible. But to fix this crack I'd be looking to spend a extra 205$ on my purchase.

I tried to file a claim within the 7 day return period but because I was busy on the first day and didnt report then my claim was denied. I highly recommend anyone who orders a vehicle do a very close inspection before you sign anything. Other than this, I had a decent experience. I'm still waiting for my registration to arrive but they are regular keeping me updated via email and text as to the status of that.

Carvana’s appraisal and price offer of my car was above average which was awesome. The online experience was quick, clear, efficient, hassle free, no hard sells and comfort of your home. Their offer is also definitely significantly higher than what a car dealer would offer! So the process of appraisal, offer, selling and coordinating an appointment for carvana to come and buy your car (in my case without me buying a car from them) was very smooth and hassle free! Really liked it.

However where Carvana failed me is they left the car in our condo complex after paying me. They said a tow company will come in next 24-48 hrs to tow the car (which they never advised during the selling process). Due to this, I had to change my personal schedules and commitments so I can be home whenever the tow service becomes available. Communications post sell and before actual pick up with Carvana is poor. This part is where Carvana failed and did not make me a happy customer despite their aim to make all customers happy per their slogan.

Mind you I scheduled to return my lease the day after Carvana scheduled delivery. Why are we so foolish to believe the lies that they state but can’t commit to. All lip service. I had to Uber/Lyft to work. You know what they said? “I’m sorry you’re having this experience. It’s not what we want our customers to experience” and just other infuriating crap. They had an automated system deliver the 2nd delay just now and they stated it’s now delayed due to a “vehicle quality delay.”

The rep that texted me back then stated “we have run into a transportation delay.” What kind of ** is this? Do you guys know what you’re doing? Like another reviewer said VERY well, Carvana employees aren't empowered to do much other than to say "Sorry you're having this experience." DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT— enough with the useless lip service. Responding for each negative review with a generic “We are sorry for ___________ & we hope you enjoy your ride.”

Lastly, I now have at least 10 days of interest in paying on my auto loan WHEN I DON'T EVEN HAVE MY CAR YET! I’m not sure how they get away with such unlawful practices. They don’t even compensate for a single thing, lots of legal issues I’ve read of. I purchased as a first time customer, a certified used 2015 Hyundai Veloster mid February of 2022. I also purchased the premium warranty for 3,000 extra dollars. Within a week the battery drained & it was discovered to be the entirely wrong size. It was explained to me by roadside assistance that I was very lucky we caught it so soon as it could have caused a complete electrical failure in the car if it had gone unchecked in the car long enough. The warranty reimbursed me and at the time I considered myself fortunate for us having caught it soon enough, even though the 200 dollar payment for labor and a new battery was a lot of money to dole out and wait almost a month for the reimbursement check to arrive.

I’m a single parent with no family able to help me financially, so I had to figure it out and thankfully could. Yesterday I found out the inside of all 4 wheels tread is entirely worn bald, which you can’t see from an initial outside examination of the vehicle. One tire blew which the warranty will replace because it covers road hazards/damage but they will not replace the other 3 which will be roughly 900 dollars to replace due to labor and the odd tire size for Velosters(I cannot change the tire size without voiding my warranty). I’ve driven the car the average amount of miles for the time period, it most definitely should have been normal wear and tear and lifespan for tires. That has been the case with the three vehicles I’ve purchased and driven before this one.

I tried calling Carvana to make a complaint about this but was told 3 times it was policy and so beyond a regular note I couldn’t do anything more, I wouldn’t get help with replacements and no one would be calling me back to escalate the complaint. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused and spoken to in extreme irritation over the issue of compensation which he kept repeating, instead of acknowledging this was the second major issue in a year for a car that had supposedly passed an inspection that said this things were in good order. He kept repeating the policy, even though my situation was that the inspection regarding that exact policy clearly had at least one provable and one strongly implied error. I could not get him to acknowledge this, he kept repeating they would not pay, which I already acknowledged I’d heard him say twice and needed to speak to someone else.

After this last bit, he finally let me speak to what they stated as leadership. She listened and wrote a detailed report to send to the local office and inspection center which was what I needed from the call, but ultimately I’m still out 900 dollars and wondering what I spent that 3,000 for if every time something happens I’m going to have to shell out money I don’t have to wait a month (best case scenario) to get back. And I have very little faith in their customer service to care or do anything about any other issues that should arise when they take so little accountability for issues I should never have been dealing with this soon now. The fact I had to push so hard to speak to someone who didn’t just repeat policy instead of hearing my actual and unique concern has made it so I will not buy from Carvana again and I will caution anyone I know against considering it. I purchased from Toyota in the past and regret not doing so this time.

The Carfax report was right there to view. You have a little more freedom on your down payment too. One thing to note, you do pay out of pocket for shipping cost unless you select the free shipping options. And the insurance offered through Carvana was about $170 more per month than our insurance company. We loved how quick it was and that we had 7 days to return the car if we didn't like it.

The delivery driver arrived about 2 hours after our selected time which was fine. Be aware that they have a 3-hour window. We were used to dealers giving you a full tank but this arrived at a quarter tank. The car was as described and we had chosen a 21' model so it still has a factory warranty. Carvana also has a 100-day warranty. There were a few things not listed on the inspection, the windshield has a crack and there's a small dent in the door. Carvana flat out lied about the condition of the car I purchased. They just hope you don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. They are making a fortune on shipping because that is non refundable. Please do not believe any good reviews, they are fake or paid for. The car was listed with 2 small imperfections (scratches), low miles, stock Honda Civic. When the care was delivered, we stopped counting blemishes at 10. I had a right rear wheel totally rusted out with a bad TPMS sensor, part of the bumper had be put back on the car with silicone and red paint throw on top of it. It had clear coat over spray all over the car so it had been repainted. Absolutely none of this was in the listed or I never would have bought the car.

When I contacted them (via chat) you can never get ahold of anyone in support, only sales, they had me submit pictures and then they referred me to another company they bought SilverRock, for repairs.. The wheel was denied, the least expensive they said ok... oh yeah, and there is 100 deductible.. Are you starting to see the picture here. Learn from mine and everyone else's mistakes, they will ship you junk, they know they are. They collect all shipping up front, that way if you turn the junk away, they still walked away with a grand.

We were hopeful but let down at every turn. This is a bad company with a bad product. If in the market for a car, you are better off going to local lots and staying away from these jokers.. As un-American as it gets.... A disclaimer, I have hired a lawyer and we will be filing suit. They agreed to take the car back within 7 days but will not refund the shipping... They lied, I want my money back. I will be glad to provide evidence to anyone who is thinking of using them.

It was only after I filled out pages of information that Carvana let me know that home delivery was not available for cash purchases. They claimed it had to do with fraud prevention. This does not make sense considering they had photocopies of my driver's license, current car registration that matched the address, and that I had to go through a notary that required facetime to prove I was who I said I was. Also, if you are married and paying cash there is no way for both spouses to be on the registration nor on the title. Basically, Carvana's business model entails the loans you take out with them. If you are taking out a Carvana loan, things are much easier.

Also, I was sent many emails requesting additional information time and time again. At one point the issue was my insurance wasn't readable -- when it was in fact an uploaded PDF. So I called, and while I was on the phone I confirmed with the person that Carvana did in fact now have everything they needed to go through with the purchase (every time they send an email about this or that being missing or incorrect, there is an ominous warning about the sale being cancelled if you don't response quickly). Alas, even though I had uploaded everything required, and even though the agent said everything was in order -- the very next day I got an email that my insurance needed to be uploaded.

As if all this wasn't hassle enough, late in the day before we had to drive all the way to Philadelphia to pick the vehicle up, we got an email that the appointment needed to be rescheduled until next week due to a logistics issue. This after we had arranged a vacation day from work that we then had to burn. The drive to Philadelphia was a nightmare as we anticipated, the Carvana isn't in a safe area of Philadelphia, and the canyons that pass for potholes were all around the facility.

This was a horrible experience and then the vehicle failed inspection as it needed new tires and all told we spent $1,800 getting the vehicle road ready. I know there is a 7 day return policy but really? Drive to a from Philadelphia, find out it failed inspection, and then drive it back to Philadelphia to return it? Will never use Carvana again and will not recommend it to anyone who asks how it went. The only positive is that we do love the SUV and other than the $1,800 to get it road ready, we are happy with the vehicle.

This was by far the easiest and best experience I've had selling a car. All online, quick and easy quote process within minutes. Once I agreed to accept the quote, which beat the dealership's, we set up a time for them to come out to our house. The advocate, Xavier, called and let me know when he would arrive to inspect the vehicle. He was actually early, very personable and professional, the whole process and paperwork took less than 15 minutes. I choose to be paid ACH and received the payment in my checking account the next day. Best selling experience I've ever had, I'm in my 70's.

The 1st car I purchased when the delivery person called the motor was blown up. Then I ordered another and it took like 4 weeks to get the unit, on my trade in I waited for so long that the battery had died. And when another delivery person call they requested that I drive the car and meet them somewhere for me to pick up the unit, when I stated that the battery had died the canceled my delivery and remove my trade in!

During this time I called and tried to find out what the next step was, and that was to order another car, again I was rescheduled for the 4th time without a call but from me to them asking what is going on. Well when I get my other car, I was still paying for insurance on the car that the motor was blown up because they wanted to check it out to see if it could be fixed, no call!! Now with the new one the rotors are bad and I got to find a service center which is no listed and my running I am so upset with Carvana and the way that I was handled. This is reason for this long bad review. I got more problems but I don't have enough time nor energy to write this long book, almost for got that I paid for the 1st delivery, and then had to paid for the second I would have cancelled the sell but they stated that I couldn't get a refund, on the first nor the second car.

Recently attempted to sell my vehicle to Carmax. Initially, my experience was very positive: submitted information, photos, etc. & scheduled a pickup with ease. Prepared my vehicle IAW their instructions, including removal of my plates, altered my schedule to accommodate, etc. Less than 24 hours before pickup, but three hours after receiving their final confirmation email, I received another email saying their driver had called out and my pickup/sale was canceled. Attempted to call their number for rescheduling the following day, but hold times were "greater than 30 minutes." Left my number for a call back, which I received several hours later, by which point I'd already secured a better offer through Carmax. I was able to drive to close the deal in under an hour. I understand people occasionally get ill and need to call out, but Carvana should've had a contingency plan in place as well as more reasonable response to their customer service number.

We have not used Carvana before but, most regrettably, our experience with them in this transaction was so very poor that we can't see how we would be able to use or recommend them again. The price of the car (2016 Mini Cooper S) was the highest value amount for the car that we found online, but we liked the many options it came with, it had low, one-owner miles, it passed Carvana's 150 point inspection and it was "Carvana Certified", so we decided to go for it. We paid Carvana's full price. We trusted Carvana to be as good as its promises online. We also paid the full price of Carvana's transportation charge (1,790.00), one of the highest transportation prices Carvana customers are required to pay. But, again, we paid it expecting that the car with its options, high reviews on Carvana's inspection and low miles, justified the expense.

With several calls to Carvana (always waiting 40-50 minutes each time), we tried to find out exactly where the car was in Carvana's system, hoping to drive to pick it up and save some of the high transportation expense. No go. Among four Carvana representatives, we got four different responses as to where the car was and no one would permit us to cut the transportation expense in any way by going to pick up the car. We were told that the car could not be delivered to us at our winter month Florida location because of registration and titling of the car in another state. So we had to make arrangements to drive from Florida to Michigan (1,400 miles) to take delivery there.

We went ahead and arranged travel to go from Florida to Michigan to get delivery of the car in Michigan as instructed. Only to get sudden and unexpected notice from Carvana ... while we were driving from Florida to Michigan ... telling us that delivery was delayed on Carvana's end - with absolutely no reason given why. So ... We had to stop our trip, turn around and head back to Florida, pay the costs of our canceled travel (hotel, car rental, meals) and then reschedule delivery to another Carvana location, eating up yet more time and incurring yet further expense before we could get the car we had fully paid for (including exorbitant transportation). No one from Carvana ever offered reimbursement for any of our travel expenses when Carvana unilaterally and with no explanation canceled our Michigan delivery. No explanation was ever given by Carvana for the delay. We still had no idea where the car was.

When the car was finally delivered at a Carvana tower location, it was significantly damaged under the front bumper. Repairs will require at least four full days of work at a body shop in Florida (thus costing us another trip between Michigan and Florida at our further expense and inconvenience). This damage, of course, was present and easily observable on the car at the time of delivery despite "passing with flying colors" Carvana's 'meticulous' 150 Point Inspection (which we in fact relied on in buying the car to begin with). The inspection clearly covered the front bumper. Wonder how that damage could possibly have been missed in that 'meticulous' Carvana inspection?!

And, just to top it all off, I just now received a message from Carvana, two weeks after delivery of the car, telling me that the Carvana agent in charge of the titling and registration paperwork at the time of delivery screwed up by having both him and me sign the registration documents in the wrong places, necessitating a flurry of overnight mail gymnastics to get the correctly placed signatures on registration documents before the temporary registration expires.

Quite frankly, this entire mess is just ridiculous and disrespectful treatment by Carvana of an honest and trusting customer by any measure. There is really no other way to put it. So yes, we are definitely most dissatisfied with Carvana. Wouldn't you be too if you were treated this way? How could we possibly return as repeat customers - or recommend Carvana to friends and family who ask about our Carvana experience? It was miserable. What an incredible waste of time for us with all of these screwups. We truly wish we had bought the car we wanted elsewhere.

Carvana should be completely and thoroughly ashamed with this kind of treatment and, equally importantly, it should be embarrassed with no reaching out to us as customers to make this right with some sort of fair refund on the full price paid. We see no evidence that Carvana cares a wit about us and the poor experience they undeniably gave us here. For these reasons, we feel that Carvana has thoroughly let us down in each and every aspect of the quality experience we expected of them.

My experience with them started good then after purchasing the vehicle. They dragged their feet on getting me. The paperwork I needed to get the car transferred into my name so that I could get my license plate. It took me multiple phone calls and aggravating them to get this done. Then unfortunately not even in a month after buying the vehicle. I was T boned by another vehicle and total the car. My insurance company cut them the check within a few weeks. But they still said that I owed about it so I contacted them to find out. What was going on with the gap insurance? And they're trying to say that I don't have gap insurance. Anyone who is ever bought a vehicle knows that they always have gap insurance and now. Carvana is trying to tell me that sometimes they don't even offer gap insurance.

This company is nothing but a bunch of con artists. They are just a fancy by here pay here a lot. They use a company called Bridge Crest to do their financing. Bridge crest and carvana are the same company even though they will try to deny. Opinion is do Not do business with these people. They are right now being sued in multiple States because of their practices when it comes to getting cars registered in their customers' names and my opinion again this Company and bridge crest are both garbage.

I did not want to deal with people coming to my home that I did not know to sell this fairly expensive car, that is why I sold to Carvana instead of the public. Great communication, and the driver called me when she got on the road. She arrived at my home at the exact time that was set up. She drove up, looked over the car, I received check, gave title and that was it. Price is of course important, so I will always get competing offers, but the experience with Carvana was not only the highest offer, but no ** that you get at a dealership. I cannot comment on the buying process, but selling to them is fantastic.

Carvana "Code of Conduct" or lack their of... OK I'll start with the "Code of conduct", "We tell the truth", We play fair". At Carvana they have a code handbook and way too many people have drank the Kool Aide. To begin I travel 2 hours from Huntsville Alabama to Birmingham to get my car. This is about two weeks after the original date of delivery.

I get in the car about to leave. Start it up and I realize that there are some warning lights on. I get back home two hours later, Get ready and go to work. Get out of the car and turn around and the passenger's tail light is on, strange because the lights are not on. I come out a little later and the back door was wide open, I know I locked the doors. So there is a short in the wiring system that they already know about and had to have known about prior to me getting the car. This goes on lights, doors opening on their own, lights won't come on, car won't start.

Finally three days into this. I start trying to contact Carvana and Sebastien. Only no human contact from them till day 7. I leave messages, text to no avail. They tell me to call the warranty company because the car won't start with a full battery. (All this time they know that the car has been worked on several times for electrical problems in the last few months. It's clearly on the CarFax.) So they sell me a car that they know is not working right.

The towing company tells me that they won't tow it because it's "Out of Warranty" Says Carvana...They ran the VIN and told me even the manager that the car does not have roadside assistance. This is day 5 mind you, they say I will have to pay for towing and pay the deductible from the other company to have it fixed. I don't even own the car yet it's day 5.

Then they tell me the next day that I have to take it to one of the in house dealers for repair...my options are Firestone and Pep Boys, This is for an internal electrical issue. The car had had new tail light sockets installed less than a month earlier and other electrical work. Then I get a referral from one to take it to the dealer. I call BMW because that is what it is they say it needs to go to Mini to be repaired. OK so Mini is either two hours back in Birmingham or two hours away in Nashville Tn. That's my only option for repair and I have to pay the deductible in order to get it repaired. That's after I get it there and it may or may not work or the doors may come open and kill me on the way.

All of this from day 1 to day 6. Keep in mind it's not even my car yet and I'm paying for towing, repair work, rental, and everything else. It gets better. Long story short do not trust a word that they say that is even if you can somehow get in contact with them. The email for corporate is a dummy email, the phone numbers will only transfer you to another machine. Just don't do it. Date of experience: April 05, 2023

This was my first time using Carvana. We had been looking for a used Kia Sorento SLX, and found a perfect one at a good price on Carvana, so we decided to give it a shot. The delivery was scheduled and dropped off mostly on time directly to our house. The delivery driver was pleasant, though did not seem to have a great grasp on the process or what paperwork he needed. Luckily I had read everything ahead of time and provided him everything he needed. We were informed that there was a 7-day no questions asked return policy to allow us to test drive the car, and a 100-day repair warranty. We drove down the street and back while he waited, and accepted the car to start those periods.

The first week everything was fine, the car drove well and our return period came and went. On day 9, we noticed the temperature gauge was a little higher than normal, and decided we would take it to a shop to get inspected in the next few days. On day 10, we went for a short drive (about 15 min) to run some errands, and we noticed the heat gauge started to spike. Right after noticing that, a strange noise started, so we begin finding a place to pull over. Before we can, we see smoke pouring out the engine and pull over right there. I remembered the 100-day warranty and called them to find where I should send it. Of course, they require you to send it to a Carvana-approved facility in their network, which is fair enough.

I get a tow truck and send it over to the only one in the area. I get a call the next morning from the shop saying that they believe the head gaskets have blown and they are unable to do repairs like this. I call Carvana to explain the issue, and am then transferred to their partner SilverRock who handles warranty claims. They tell me I will have to send it to a different shop within their network, which is about 40 miles farther. They confirm that the shop works on engine repairs such as this. I had used my own insurance towing for the first one, so they offer to tow the vehicle this time, and it gets sent to the new shop.

Shortly, I get a call from the second shop telling me they are also unable to do the repairs and that they must be incorrectly listed in the system. I call SilverRock back and am told to once again send it to a different network shop. This time I call the shop ahead of time and tell them the issue, and they confirm themselves they can do the repair. I am asked to provide mileage for the car, and I inform them that I am no longer with the car and do not have the exact reading, nor have access to the record at that moment. They tell me verbatim "That's ok, I just have to input something so give it an estimate." I provide my best memory of the mileage, which it turns out is about 5,000 miles higher than the actual. The same support rep tells me they will be unable to cover the repairs as my mileage is now out of warranty.

I inform them that I clearly got the mileage wrong in my estimate as I am sure the vehicle has barely been driven. The rep then tries to say there is nothing they can do now that the mileage is put in and I will have to pay for repairs myself! I have to argue with them extensively to cancel this claim and input the actual mileage, and made very clear how ridiculous it is that they told me an estimate is fine when it clearly wasn't. I called the previous shop to get the mileage and finally get a new claim started. SilverRock once again provides towing. Later that day, the third shop calls me and asks why I sent the vehicle there as they do not do work like this.

Apparently, I was told incorrectly by a newer service technician. This of course is not the fault of SilverRock or Carvana directly, but it contributed to this frustrating experience and would have been avoided without their in-network policy and poorly labeled system and support. I finally get send to a fourth and final shop, the last in-network shop in the area, now located 60 miles from the previous shop and over 100 miles from the original location. I am told I will need to attempt this shop before being approved for an out of network shop closer to my home. I once again call the shop and make triple sure they are able to work on engine repairs such as this. They confirm and I get the car towed to this fourth and thankfully final shop.

The shop receives the car and confirms they can do the repair, and they begin the process with SilverRock. This process ends up taking just shy of 3 months. It took SilverRock over a week to send out an inspector to confirm the repairs needed. The shop offered to put in a new engine they already had, and SilverRock refused, opting instead to send their own engine. It takes nearly 2 weeks for the engine to arrive, and the shop reported that the engine was completely broken upon arrival. They once again offer their engine and SilverRock refuses.

This time, the engine takes more than 3 weeks to arrive. The engine still has issues upon arrival, but the shop deems it serviceable if additional parts are ordered. The shop owner told me later that he had to fight with SilverRock to get a approval for these parts to properly fix the engine they sent, which would have caused further issues if not addressed. I am very thankful for this shop owner, who was also extremely dissatisfied in his dealings with SilverRock. After finally receiving all the needed parts, the vehicle repairs are finished within the week.

I just recently picked up the vehicle and so far things seem to be running well. However, when I inquired about the warranty running out in only a few days from this point, I am told that the 100 days still counts down despite the vehicle undergoing repairs, and despite most of this delay being caused by SilverRock and by extension Carvana. Carvana refuses to budge on this policy, and is shifting the blame to SilverRock and acting as though it is entirely out of their hands. My 100-day warranty will end up with only about 15 days of actual vehicle use.

This is a Carvana policy, and SilverRock is their partner for warranties, yet they refuse to take any action. This was the attitude expressed by nearly every member of Carvana support, that they have no power in any of these situations and refuse to take any responsibility. Carvana claims to have performed a detailed inspection of the car for potential issues, yet every mechanic involved in this fiasco said the same thing: a cursory glance at the engine would have told any inspector that the gaskets would blow soon.

They hide behind policies and guarantees to avoid responsibility, but the entire system is designed to run out the clock and is an absolute scam. Customer support will do nothing for you. Their partners are awful and unhelpful. There were multiple errors in their systems which held back the car registration, and the user dashboard consistently showed incorrect information. There were very few points throughout this whole experience that actually went smoothly. You may get lucky and have a positive experience, as long as nothing is wrong with the car it will most likely be painless. Just be warned not to trust the quality of these cars or expect much help if something goes wrong.

We had a vehicle that we cosigned on for my mother. Shortly after buying the car, she confessed to us that her eyesight had gotten too bad to drive and gave up her license. We've been paying on the car for since (a couple years) and we'd occasionally drive it just to keep it going. We had pretty much resigned to just paying it out because we had looked into trying to get rid of it through other companies and every avenue ended with us still owing a considerable amount on it.

While scrolling TikTok, I saw an ad for Carvana and clicked through just to see without expecting anything. 4 days later, we were at the car lot to sign the paperwork and receive a check for an amount over the loan payoff. We were there less than 15 minutes. The representatives were on top of things, friendly, and accommodating. 3 days later, the leaser notified us of the car loan being paid off. I honestly didn't have high hopes that we'd be able to get out of our loan and we fully expected to still owe something. I was completely skeptical throughout the process until this morning when I got the pay off notification. I would highly recommend Carvana to anyone in a similar situation! Also, the vehicle vending machine was awesome to see in person.
