    The buying process was great and very simple, too simple almost it was done all in a matter of a few clicks on the computer, however when I picked up the truck, it had new tires on the rear but the fronts were still factory from 2017! I requested two new front tires but the management said, "No. They are within spec to sell," I argued saying, "But by the year of the tire they are unsafe for the road," which in turn the “technician” came out and said. "If you don't like the truck then don't take it or pick another truck." Once I took the truck home I noticed a nail in one of the front tires as well, so having the truck a week and buying new tires for it kinda sucked but overall love the truck and like I said the buying process was the best I've experienced.

    Terrible, terrible company!! This company survives by scamming people. You buy a car pay their “non-refundable” shipping fee and they delay, delay, delay until finally cancelling after one of their associates told me I would get the fee back because of their error. THEY SCAM PEOPLE. They will not give me back my $1,590 shipping fee.

    Purchased a 2021 Kia Sportage and received it on 5/30/2024. Car was listed as a 1 owner No accident vehicle. Only showed one little scratch in their 360 walk around. The overall transaction was great until the vehicle arrived. The right front fender and obviously been painted recently by them I presume. There were sooooo many fisheyes in the paint almost unbearable to look at. The car is covered with overspray, hood, mirrors, bumpers, etc. So I filed a claim with them and currently waiting for their third party warranty company to reach out. I will update this review once we see how this goes.

    There were some things that I really liked. I liked the wide selection of vehicles that you have to choose from and that you don’t have to deal with any annoying salesman. I didn’t like that we weren’t able to see the car at all until after all the paperwork was signed. There are 3 dents and a whole lot of scratches inside and out that weren’t ever mentioned to us. I know there is a 7 day return policy, but that’s a huge hassle. I just wish they were mentioned beforehand.

    Multiple shipping delays that caused over one month wait, in the meanwhile I paid the loan and insurance. I used 3 unpaid days of leave, had to reschedule 3 work trips on my own dime (paid flight change fees).. One of the delays caused a new contract and the wrong car was added as trade in, so Carvana took more money out of my account. I was charged multiple times for shipping same car (eventually refunded). When finally delivered - the driver arrived early, before my appointment time, and had a terrible attitude when I asked her to wait while I finished a work call. She was so rude to me and my husband, really obviously doesn’t like her job. Refused to speak to my husband, refused to help taking the plate off our trade in pickup as it was loaded before we had a chance to.

    I asked her to move the truck so my mother could pick up my son from school, she had parked where I asked her not to, blocking the driveway. She refused. My husband stepped up on the flatbed to take it off and she loved the platform while he was on it. When I asked about a second key, she turned to walk away, I asked again, she said she was going to check, got in her truck and left. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

    She must have scraped the bottom of the car taking it off the truck, the vehicle sat for two days before I could drive it (work trip) and when I did, it shook and stalled, barely made it home, pulling up, saw oil stain where it had been parked. There was no oil in the car. Tried to add some in, falls straight through to the ground. Returning, having lost a shipping fee, over a month of my life, interest on a car loan and 500 gap insurance, as well as a month of insurance payments. I’ve spoken to so many people at Carvana, explaining this, no one seems to care.

    First BMW had a few notifications that needed to be addressed. I was not satisfied with the car overall.     Do not buy anything from Carvana ever!! They refused to issue me new temporary plates after my current ones expired. Customer service constantly just dodged my questions and even just abandoned chats / hung up the phone on me when I asked about new temporary plates. 4 months after receiving my car the check engine light comes on and take it to get repaired. After 5 weeks they gave it back to me and said they couldn't fix it because the wiring was so messed up only the dealership would be able to help me. So I took it to the dealership and they fixed it but it cost $3800 dollars in repairs for a $18,000 dollar car!!!!

    It was a dirty vehicle, the service light came on, and customer service was horrible. I spent over an hour between SilverRock and Carvana. Both useless. There seems to be a lack of understanding between a repair and servicing a vehicle. I had to service the vehicle and have it detailed which Carvana refused to help. They will be in trouble with the way the market is going. Local dealers help people clean and service their vehicles.

    I purchased a plug-in hybrid Volvo XC90. Pictured online in the trunk was the power cord and floor mats that were supposed to come with the vehicle. I was told by the field advocate that this has happened before and he has gotten the cord FedExed overnight. After not receiving the cord, I proceeded to contact Carvana and was told that they could not get a cord to meet a refund to purchase a cord. I am extremely dissatisfied as the cord was pictured and is needed to use all of the features of the vehicle.     10 days ago my husband and I purchased a car from Carvana. Two days ago, the battery died. Today we took the battery to a repair shop where they ran a diagnostic and it said the battery is completely dead and a bad battery that no longer can hold a charge… I called Carvana and they said I have to pay $100 for it to be repaired! Additionally, the car came without a gas cap and they refused to provide us with one. Just very frustrating that they do not properly inspect their vehicles and do not offer to make things right.

    I would NEVER buy through Carvana again, or recommend it to a friend. The process was a pain from the beginning to the end. First frustrating part is when you go to apply for the car and it tells you you can receive it on a certain day and then you continue applying and put in all your info only for it to tell you that it’ll be a week later than it originally said. When I finally got to pick up my car there were scratches all over the place that were NOT in the pictures in the listing. The guy said “it’s probably from loading it onto the vehicle or when they cleaned it”. What??? He also forgot to include the charger for my car and I had to go back in and ask for it. Buying from a dealership would’ve been 10x easier.

    My wife purchased a vehicle, including a $690 shipping fee. We were told our insurance company could not send us the information showing the vehicle was insured until two days later. My wife informed Carvana and the agent told her no problem, the car would still be held for her. The next day we were told the car had been sold to someone else. The agent refused to refund the shipping cost although the vehicle never shipped. We were told we could not apply the shipping fee to another vehicle purchase. Even if the same vehicle somehow came avaliable we would have to repay the fee again.

    The next day my wife spoke with another agent and was told the agent from the previous day was wrong, the car had not been sold to someone else and had still been on hold for us. It was too late at that point and someone else had then actually purchased the vehicle. Carvana is refusing to refund the shipping. Their agents lied so they could steal $690 from us. They legally lied to us to steal our money.

    This is my second purchase with Carvana. I bought a 2023 Kia Sportage. They delivered me a car with a cracked windshield. I was told to call SliverRock, their repair company to start the process to get it fixed. Silverrock needs a confirmation email to start the process. I called Carvana twice they refused to pay to fix the windshield but told me if I was unhappy with the condition of the car to go back on their website to exchange. I just want my windshield fix, it will not pass inspection in my state.

    Fairly easy experience to shop and find a good car, had a few hiccups with their document process but nothing major. They did deliver the car with a filthy inside windshield, and the vehicle had slight bumper damage not shown on their pictures. The car's floor mats were shown as clean, but the one with the dried milkshake spill all over it was hidden on the bottom to not show it. I was going to replace them anyway. Overall I would say Carvana tries to hide some imperfections to get their inventory moved. Not a deal breaker for me, but be cautious.

    ...defects not pictured, no level 1 charger or cord (I was told I would get $160 to buy my own but it takes 10 days to get approved and 10 days to receive), I spent 4 hours at a repair shop. I suggest getting repair shop list for EV vehicles. Out of the four shops in my area only one was willing to look at my vehicle. Convenient to do over technology but when there are issues it's frustrating. SilverRock is also the reason for the low rating.

    Guys I initially thought this would be easier than going to a car dealership; however, it is not. Here is a list of issues I have experienced:

    1. When you think you have submitted all documentation, they surprise you with more only giving you a couple of hours time frame before you lose your appointment pickup/dropoff time.

    2. After jumping through hoops to meet their time constraints, they will email you the night before to tell you your Delivery/Pick-up appointment has been delayed. They will claim its due to title or other discrepancies. I have a vacation planned and now have to make additional provisions given issues on their part.

    3. They do not state inspect their cars, and will demand that you get it done in 10 days or less. They say they have done a 150pt inspection...and aren’t capable.

    If you want the hassle...deal with them….

    I was thrilled at how easy it was to buy a car this way at first. Everything went as planned except when I brought the car to a dealer, they told me it was under warranty and needed a new battery. As a result it would be out of commission for a few months and I was not going to get a loaner. Carvana is now scheduled to take it back and I have purchased another vehicle. This process was also very easy but honestly just led to a lot of unplanned expenses, delivery, taxes, registration fees not to mention 5 hrs at the dealership... just because you did not take care of a manufacturer's recall before selling the vehicle (I asked if they would put a note in the system so no one else buys this car and Manny said no, just return it).

    This was my 3rd car I purchased from Carvana, there was a tremendous amount of miscommunication the local offices don’t communicate with central office and you get contradictory messages by text from both. One would tell me I’m cleared and then less than an hour later get a text that’s going to cancel the appointment. Appointments were automatically moved by Carvana for lack of communication of central and local offices. Asking me to upload documents and having no way to upload them on the app. Rude customer service at times and you have to explain the same story over and over and over again. The only person that made an amazing difference was the person at the local pick up vending machine. He was Amazing and if it wasn’t for him I would have cancelled the whole thing.

    Car was sold to me with breaks squeaking. Needs rotary and pads. They would not change. They said it was normal wear and tear. Offer for me to change cars but the 690$ delivery charge isn't refundable so I lose. If you say 150 inspection do that because obviously you didn't check anything. Worse experience ever.     I would give it Zero stars if I could. We have purchase three cars now from Carvana. First one needed repairs, SilverRock covered those, Sure gave them the benefit. Second car broke down in 24 hours, so returned it. Now on car number three, have had it for less than 3 weeks, and come to find out it needs a complete brake job. Rotors & Pads. They sold us a car with bad brakes and rotors. In addition, SilverRock considers this a wear & tear item, even after just buying the car. So we are out of pocket over a $1,000 to repair a vehicle, we put money down on and already put money in to repair minor other issues, and just bought. This is terrible business from Carvana and I warn you against purchasing!

    My Disappointing Experience with Carvana

    Dear Carvana, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience involving the purchase of a vehicle from your company. The initial seven-day trial period you offer seemed promising; however, the delivery of the vehicle with only half a tank of gas and missing floor mats—the latter due to their removal for cleaning, which were never replaced—was disheartening. I reported these issues and was credited $100 as a courtesy. To date, this credit has not materialized. Furthermore, a post-purchase inspection at a Jaguar dealership revealed two cracked heat shields near the exhaust, indicative of a significant undercarriage impact. When I sought assistance for this matter, Carvana redirected me to SilverRock due to the 100-day warranty. Nonetheless, SilverRock declined involvement, citing the issue as non-mechanical.

    Upon re-consultation with Carvana and compliance with the recommended claims process, I was informed the damages were cosmetic, falling outside of coverage parameters. This circular referral between Carvana and SilverRock has been frustrating and inconclusive. Moreover, my attempt to ascertain the status of my claim was met with the discovery that no such record existed within your system. Beyond the seven-day return window, I find myself with no recourse through Carvana.

    The discrepancies in customer service and the oversight in vehicle quality control have been significant drawbacks of this transaction. Despite the reputation of a Jaguar, the handling of my purchase by Carvana has been unsatisfactory—meriting a review of zero stars if such an option were available. Disappointed and disillusioned, I urge potential customers to consider the implications of these "little things" when contemplating a significant purchase from Carvana.

    There were a few times during the process I was sure the company had gone defunct and they never disabled the website. I put in my order on a Sunday. By Tuesday I called customer service because I hadn't received any forms or anything. The guy put me on hold and then hangs up on me. All of a sudden I've got the forms and like 5 hours to get the bank to process everything. I pull it off and again the system doesn't update so I use the chat tool. She gives me a generic response and then hangs up on me. I did get my car and I am happy about it but the customer service is terrible.

    Using Carvana for the first time was a breath of fresh air. No salesmen, no rush, no pressure; by the time I was finished there were no problems either! If you are in the market for a new vehicle I strongly recommend giving Carvana a whirl. They delivered the vehicle I chose on time and again stress-free. Simple financing with decent rates, and even offer vehicle insurance if that is needed (I did not utilize their insurance program). Over the years I've bought several vehicles from different dealerships and it's always the same pushiness from the sales department and there was none of that. If you've not tried Carvana I think you'll be positively surprised by the simplicity of the entire experience, I know I was.

    I have bought from Carvana before with no issues (3 times, in fact), but my recent purchase has turned out to be a lemon. I bought a 2018 Volvo V60 with 50069 miles on it at a reasonable, but by no means discounted, price. 5k miles later (conveniently past the warranty mileage), I am sitting on the side of the road waiting for my second tow to the Volvo dealership to likely pay thousands to fix whatever is wrong with this car. I feel cheated. If you pay 25k for a late model car, you expect to at least be able to make it to 100k without any major mechanical defects. Very disappointed. Will NEVER buy from Carvana again.

    I love the fact that it's all online, I feel like there was a lot of glitches though I did have to keep calling. I am also very angry. I started an order on a vehicle I wanted. I had been working on getting them everything for 2 weeks, I talked to several people. I then talked to a male and I explained everything. He told me that he would get it all situated. I was put on hold several times. He was good about checking in. He finally returned to the call, informed everything was approved and I was clear to go pick up my vehicle Friday. A few hours later I receive a call and they inform me I still have some problems and tell me I am going to have to put over 10 grand down on the vehicle I wanted or find something else even though 3 hours before I was good to go pick up the vehicle I wanted.

    Good points: Car looked like new inside & out, Sebastian our chat guy was terrific.

    Bad points: One advocate had attitude problem on chat. One advocate said they would call to verify data, Bridget did call but there was no follow up by anyone when order was revised. Original order showed $1600 for warranty up to cars with 90000 miles. I pointed out in chat that the car being purchased had 91990 mile therefore there was no coverage. Advocate McDonald was sorry for confusion. Ask if we wanted 12 mo warranty. We said yes but not for $1600 which was a longer term warranty. She said Carvana didn't discount warranties. We were asking what the price of the 12 mo warranty cost. She wouldn't provide that cost so we had to cancel wanting the warranty. I told her since this was big error on Carvana's part not to change the delivery date. Waste of breath. Date was changed by a week later.

    Some of your advocates could not speak English very well which added to the problem. Also links sent by advocates did not work. Other email pieces sent were incomplete. One piece said see below for further bla bla but there was nothing below to review. Just blank. The delivery guys showed up on time but said they only had 10 minutes because of another delivery, then proceeded to rush us through signing. Also it took 4 hours of our time on the computer to buy this car. Wouldn't want to ever do this again.

    It took me a few days to decide on the car I wanted based on many factors such as Price, long term reliability ratings, insurance quotes and cost of downpayment. I had to submit a lot of paperwork but I was pleased with customer service I received throughout the process. I'd say I only had one customer service related problem that affected my experience. Carvana had a old payoff quote for my trade in, while waiting for the new quote to come through on Monday the system charged my card $390 over what the correct down payment was going to be, I only authorized the lower amount. The next day, I told a rep I wanted the over charge refunded, yet $300 of the overcharge was still included in the new loan documents. I did not want to lose my appointment time so I completed my documents but I wish that would have been done correctly. I'm currently waiting on a $90 refund in overpayments.

    What mainly hurt my experience was the lack of pictures showcasing the flaws. There were no pictures of the residue left from the removal of old pinstripes. I found a dent near the passenger rocker panel exposing metal that will need repaired to prevent rust. The AC did not work properly and was later found to have had a broken fan replaced under warranty. Overall I'd say my experience was 4 out of 5 as the final transaction was smooth and while shopping the terms were honest and upfront with many cars to choose from. It gave me time to pick the best car in my budget and review my insurance costs without being on a time crunch.

    First time Carvana buyer and most likely last. Customer service was not good. The text messaging and phone center were zero help with my needs and concerns early in process. Just gave me generic stock responses. Car was to be delivered, money taken from bank account. Then delay 1 day before delivery. Tried asking why and not given any info. Asked to speak to supervisor many times over many days and was refused every time. They had no problem taking money from my account promptly and making me switch my insurance, but then delay delivery for 9 days for a problem in their end. I understand there was an issue but it should be made clear to me what the issue was, it was not.

    I also do not like paying in full and then a delay because a problem with car with no answers as to what. Again, asked to speak to supervisors many times and was flat out refused. I asked for some sort of good faith credit for the significant delay which ended up being their fault and not mine. A credit, maybe a few oil changes, something other than a hard no and deal with it we have your money attitude would have been appreciated. Then when I got the car I thought the hood was full of scratches or something. But then I rubbed one of them and it was just something on the surface. Easily rubbed off with a buffer or something. Carvana couldn't detail it a little better before delivery?

    In person pickup was nice and all, but basically shrugged his shoulders and said for all this I need to talk to corporate headquarters for any issues. The same people that have been zero help through the process. This is a organizational fail. Customer service almost non existent. Like mention, maybe a few oil changes offered or something for the issues and delays would have gone a long way. In my business if a customer has issues with purchase we go out of our way to make sure they are happy and compensated properly if it's something we did. Carvana just takes your money and gives you a car (at some point). Other than that you are on your own. Lesson learned and will not repeat.

    Overall, I was very happy with how easy it was to purchase a vehicle for Carvana. It was a quick process online and quick process in person as well. Unfortunately, the after process was not that great. Immediately after I got on the highway to drive home it was apparent the vehicle was not inspected properly and I had to bring to a shop which the vehicle remained there for over 7 days to replace the rooters that were completely not drivable and really scared me driving home. Also, since I got a Ford Transit there is a cage inside with a door and the employees at Carvana said they didn't have the key for the door. So if I want to get it fixed, I'll have to bring it back to a carvana approved shop to have fixed which I don't really have time to do.

    There is also a cap missing for some exposed wires in the back of the van, but like I said, I just don't have the time to drive 25 minutes to a carvana approved service center and then wait for the approval process to get the door and wire cap fixed. I would have gave 5 stars for this if I didn't run into all the issues with the van as soon as I drove it off the lot.

    When "Click here" appears I expect a response. Until I spoke to a human nothing happened. A lot of my time went into many attempts to make this purchase. Carvana may be missing other sales because of the hands-on does not happen in your QC department if you have one. Brick and mortar places with live sales have just proven to be more pleasant to me. THEN when I got to the cute vending machine, it all started over. Your own personnel had great difficulty with the final transactions. This also took a lot longer than I had expected. Just ask them. I think three men got involved in with the DocuSign setup and suddenly it was all over.

    After purchase (which was smooth and easy) I have tried reaching out multiple times regarding scratches across the entire windshield. It literally looks like someone tried to wash the window with a brillo pad or sandpaper. Now 8 days later I still have not heard back at all and I will likely have to pay to replace the windshield as the scratches are interfering with vision. Because you don't get to test drive it before you decide so when I picked was so tiny for being a luxury car and every time I turned the knob for the volume it changed inputs and it would shake real bad when I braked so I contacted their support to return it and picked another car.     This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Carvana; the first experience I had was nice, which drew me back to purchasing a Toyota 4Runner. I received the 4Runner within the time selected. The process was easy. Now, after the driver left, my 3-year-old daughter and I went on a drive, and the vehicle was shaking violently at highway speeds, so I took it to a local tire shop, and two tires had broken belts. I contacted Carvana, and they told me to work with the warranty company SilverRock. SilverRock explicitly states that "Replaceable/Wearable Parts (Tires, brake pads, struts, shock absorbers, etc.)" are not covered.

    Carvana was unwilling to work with me for a resolution and Carvana told me it would be an out-of-pocket expense and basically told me to kick rocks or trade it for another "comparable" vehicle that was available. The vehicles available were more expensive, and I was told I would have to pay shipping expenses... again... and pay for the price difference. Unfortunately, I am now ~$500 out of pocket for two tires and have mismatched tires on my vehicle, which I was told by the tire shop isn't good for the vehicle. I'm not really sure how this vehicle passed Carvana "150-point inspection" with the tires in the condition they are.

    Unless you have extra money for "out of pocket" repairs immediately after purchase, I would avoid Carvana. I probably won't buy from Carvana again or tell people how great it is like I used to. I was also told that I would be contacted by a Carvana rep after my complaint... That also never happened. Not a happy customer.

Carvana requested an additional document for trade-in verification. I sent the document well before their “deadline” to submit it (over 6 hours). I then got an email saying that I missed the document deadline and therefore lost my selected delivery date/time even though I had submitted everything before the deadline. When I called to ask how this happened I was told that it was because Carvana did not review the documents in time. So even though the “missed deadline” was Carvana’s fault I was offered nothing except a “sorry, we’ll do better next time.”

    Our vehicle was delayed 5 times. Each time I reached out to customer service and was given very vague and unhelpful responses. It wasn't until the 5th delay (almost a month after the original scheduled delivery date) that someone from the "Executive Resolutions" team reached out. The only thing I got from her was a more detailed explanation for the delay. There was no offer of compensation, despite the fact that I had insured the vehicle for almost a month at that point and had to pay registration for the car I was trading in due to the delay.

    When the vehicle arrived, the inside was dirty (food crumbs, candy wrappers, dirt) and the oil change sticker indicated the last oil change was 10 months ago. They are supposed to be giving us a $100 check for the cleanliness issue, but I can't get a response from anyone about the oil change. Everyone assures me that every car gets an oil change prior to being sold, but no one can provide documentation to support that. While I was originally excited about the convenience and price of purchasing through Carvana, I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

    The whole experience took longer than expected. In the beginning I was preapproved from lender A, after going through the purchase process I was inform lender A was not approved. I went through an online lender last second, lender B, and after several days got no response from them (not Carvana's fault). Fell back onto a local credit union, lender C, and they were an approved lender but not verified in the system. It took several calls a day for a couple weeks to get through the process, they wanted insurance almost 2 weeks before I picked up the car. I couldn't get insurance without purchase info, lender wanted purchase agreement from carvana but they wouldn't supply it until I had insurance. After everything settled they never verified my lender days before my scheduled pick up, I called them every day with no progress. The lender verified with me that carvana made no attempt to verify.

    Finally they verified the lender while I was on hold with carvana and only took 10-15 minutes total. I arrived on the day of my scheduled pickup to find out they rescheduled my pickup for the following day. The workers at the physical location were super helpful and assured I was able to pick up the vehicle that day. That part of the experience went well.

    Worse delivery presentation you could imagine. Rep. got all the paperwork signed and pointed across the lot and stated there is your vehicle over there. A horrendous thunder & lightning storm immediately blew in therefore there was no time for any pre checkout. Driving through a heavy rain storm with hard & cracked wiper blades squawking so loudly the radio would not out volume the racket. I did my own inspection the next A.M. To find the engine oil 1 Qt. low and dirty.

    Changed oil & filter to find the oil filter very discolored & dirty which should not be with a few miles of driving and low mileage vehicle. Tire pressures were 14 PSI different at 3 wheels only one being close to recommended PSI. No lug nut covers on any of the 20 lug bolts. Small issues you may think but I am a ASE Master certified tech. So I am qualified to determine that the oil was not checked or changed but you lied by putting an updated sticker on the W/shield. This nightmarish experience served as a stark reminder of the merits of traditional dealership inspections, instilling a newfound appreciation for the tangible reassurance of in-person assessments over the uncertainties of online transactions.

    The experience was just ok. Issues about my bank which was listed, but was unable to enter routing # and account # caused me to call Carvana. Things were straightened out eventually. The car was supposed to be delivered Sunday 5/5. It was pushed back a day by Carvana which caused me to have to cancel business appointments I made for Monday the 6th. I was only able to get the vin after I purchase the car, so unable to get a CARFAX until after the purchase. The CARFAX was ok, no accidents, a list of all the service to the vehicle. The odyssey had 3 previous owners which is a concern. Two Honda recalls had not been done. Took the car to a Honda dealership and they did the recall work at no charge. The found a number of issues with the odyssey relating most to the mileage on the car. I then was directed to SilverRock who gave me some local authorized repair shops to take the van. Took the van to Big Brands in Scottsdale. That experience was very good. I’m going to keep the Odyssey and do the repair work over time.

    My two major complaints are a busted air vent that wasn't previously mentioned in the report and on day 5 of having the Honda a Emissions System Problem light came on and I'm trying to figure out how to reach out and contact the coverage for it because I'm stationed in a remote location.     Simple and stress free experience, hope I never have to go to another car lot again.     Avoid Carvana at all cost! When I first attempted purchasing the vehicle they kept giving me a date it would arrive. I traveled for a living so making myself available to receive it was not easy. The day of delivery they tell me it can’t make it and gets scheduled for the next day. After getting the run around multiple times come to find out the vehicle never left Arizona and I'm in Tennessee. Ended up being a month later before arrival.

    Next after only driving the vehicle for 20k miles, only 80k total, everything is just plum worn out. According to the shop they have sold me a lemon from up north with very bad rust damage. According to the mechanic this vehicle should be in good shape for such low mileage and the bad rusting is what contributes to all this premature wear. Also the price was a total rip off, about 3k over Blue Book. I still owe 15k on the vehicle at this point, Out of curiosity I wanted to check their offer and they are only offering 7400 to buy it back. I am now stuck with a 420 dollar a month paperweight that cannot afford to fix.

    This last order did not go well and did not match the past couple of experiences that we have had with Carvana with our other cars. I ordered an F150 that had the check engine light turn on within the first day of owning the truck. We swapped that out with another truck from Carvana and this one has fluid in the backup camera making it almost useless.

    We also ordered a Chevy Equinox a month or two ago and the rear brakes are squeaking and not working well. Also, all of the floor mats did not fit and were for a different car. I wish that when we ordered a car from Carvana, we could be confident that we wouldn't have to bring it to a mechanic for some kind of repair. We probably won't buy a vehicle from Carvana again.

    We traded in our Tesla Model 3 for a Ford F-150, to use as our new tow vehicle. The process was smooth and quick, but all the good feels quickly disappeared once we realized several features were missing from our purchased vehicle that were originally advertised. We were still in the 7 day return policy so we asked about a cracked center console. They said a vendor can fix it after a week. Later we find out the “in network mechanic” does not perform this fix. We inquired about the missing sunroof. To either fix or compensate us for the missannotated feature. They came back and said the original price still stands firm but they can offer me $100 for the error.

    I asked about the missing power tailgate/hatch. They said sorry, but no additional compensation. I asked about the 6.5 foot bed length as advertised (I measured and it was only 5.5 feet long). No additional compensation. I was offered a couple of extra days to return it for a different vehicle from Carvana, but couldn’t find anything I wanted within the budget they originally advertised. Ultimately, we kept the vehicle because we already sold our Tesla to Carvana and also needed a tow vehicle to make our cross country trip. But I did feel a bit slighted or cheated by the company as a whole.

    To be missing so many features, and then later say “no price adjustments can be made after talking to our team,” I feel is wrong. Two stars (instead of 1) were to acknowledge this service still works out okay for those who do not want to haggle with private parties or dealer trade ins. But definitely check to make sure vehicles have features advertised, because mine definitely did not.

    I purchased a vehicle from Carvana in early March 2024. The vehicle had a road noise that was quite pronounced. When I called Carvana I was instructed to take it to a "preferred" repair facility. I took it to Pep Boys and was told to take it to a Pep Boys that was further away because they did not have time to look at it. The second Pep Boys diagnosed it as bad rear tires which were replaced. This did not fix the problem. I then took it to a dealer who diagnosed the noise as hub bearings. It was fixed under factory warranty. Rental cost me $100 per day. Carvana's warranty partner, Silver Rock reimbursed me $40 per day making me pay the difference even though th repair cost them nothing. Today, May 6th I still don't have my tags/registration. I call every day. This is the worst car buying experience of my life.

    Not sure where to start, the driver who came to pick up my car was rude, used a lot of bad language, forgot my check, had my car sit in my driveway until a tow truck came and got it, he was too lazy to go back to the station to drop off a car on his truck and made sure I knew it was my problem and not his, when called the customer service line I got a supervisor Maggie ** who was absolutely one of if not the worse customer service person I have ever had to deal with, she refused to give me his name and refused to reach out to his supervisor. The threats I received from the driver in my driveway were totally inexcusable, I have the video of the situation, it was horrible. I will never go with carvana EVER again, The customer service "supervisor" denied that a driver would ever be rude and that it was all my fault for the incident that happened in my driveway.

    She kept insisting for me to send her the video and she would get it handled, IT never got handled or escalated, Carvana only cares about the buck and nothing else. They hire anyone with a license who can drive a tow truck to deliver and pick up a car. That's it nothing else, I regret terribly selling my car to this company, the transaction was a mistake from start to finish, there is absolutely NO CUSTOMER service at all with this, the commercials showing it being easy, far from it, not one single supervisor called me. Not one follow up on this transaction of the driver berating me in my front driveway calling me horrible names because I wanted my money in a check, which was the way I was supposed to get paid, threatening me that he knows where I live.. 0 stars not even one for this.

    Carvana is the worst place to get a car. I tried to buy a car from there. Had my down payment ready and all. I go through fill out all information honestly. I had just begun a new job so I didn’t have a paystub yet but I had my bank account info that shows my business and previous jobs income. Well they first ask for two bank statements. Then change it to 6 and two years of tax documents. So I scramble to get all of that. Finally get it and upload all but one tax document on their page but they texted me a link to also upload on. That’s where my last tax document went.

    Then they email me a few hours later asking where’s the last tax document… so the text link is basically useless. The car was advertised as free shipping to my zip code. Get started on the process and it’s actually 580$. It was advertised with next day shipping as well. It was then changed to 2 day shipping then 4 day shipping. Whatever I just need a car at this point. Anyways the next morning I get an email saying it needs me to provide insurance information otherwise it will not be shipped. So I go ahead and get insurance and provide them the information. The money for my down payment has ALREADY LEFT MY ACCOUNT at this point so I think it’s all good. I get a call from a spam risk number. Decline and they call again so usually I’ll answer to mess around with them.

    Well it’s Carvana and they say they can’t sell me the car cause I don’t have an offer letter and two pay stubs from my new job. THE MONEY HAS ALREADY LEFT MY ACCOUNT AND I DONT HAVE ANOTHER CAR. They threatened to hang up on me. The call ends after I request a refund and I’m now left in the dark. No email saying anything about a refund like I was promised. Nothing. I give it about a week and a half and message their online chat and they say I should have it by a certain date. That date comes and nothing so I messaged again and they tell me my refund is still pending and yet again promised an email. It’s been two weeks now at this point so I’m mad. I call and then they tell me another thing as well.

    I have now gotten my refund a little over two weeks now. I stupidly decided to do my research after I put my bank account info in and the amount of bad reviews on Reddit is alarming. People getting bad cars, Carvana pulling the same stuff they did with me, people not getting their plates, etc. and apparently Carvana is one of the most expensive places to get a car. My terms were honestly bad cause I have slightly bad credit but I didn’t realize truly how bad they were. But thanks Carvana for making me dodge the pile of poo you would’ve sold me. I got a 17000$ car for 9000$ now fully paid off and low miles.

    I've sold to Carvana before while in Houston and it was seamless. This time, I was in Lubbock, and discovered AFTER spending nearly two hours going through the initial steps, that there were no pick-up options locally in Lubbock... they wanted me to drive 300+ miles to sell. The system should prompt the user from the very BEGINNING to choose a drop-of or pick-up location to make sure the seller will still be interested in selling to Carvana if it requires traveling a long distance. Had I known Carvana wouldn't arrange for local pickup, I wouldn't have spent the time. As a result, this felt like a bait and switch. Carvana... put the option of location selection at the BEGINNING of the selling process and not at the end. Not every seller is located in a major metro area.

    Do not purchase a car with Carvana, they are thieves. They require a NON-REFUNDABLE transfer fee deposit. So they took our down payment and deposit instantly. They start to verify your paperwork. During that process, they asked for the same piece of information 4 times and could not seem to verify it. This cause the transaction to expire. Now it takes them 10 to 15 days to refund my money. However, I will not be refunded the 1500.00 transfer fee. What did they transfer NOTHING. This is a rip-off fee.

    I truly wish I could give lower than a… I truly wish I could give lower than a one star. So due to no fault of ours, we have found ourselves without a car. We desperately went to Carvana for help. It seemed like the process was going well, but then on the day of delivery THREE times, we receive an email in the last hour of delivery saying that the vehicle will be delayed. The first time it was delayed a week, the second time, it was delayed two weeks. I then order a different car and now the third time, it was to be delivered form 11:00 to 2:00. At 1:40 we receive an email telling us it will be delayed another week. That is when I cancelled my order. In the process we have spent over $1000 on rental cars. It has been a horrible experience.

    Don't be fooled by Carvana's 150 point inspection brag because their standards for passing are minimal. I bought a 2019 Ford f150. Within first 34 DAYS (important because the cut off is 30 DAYS) had to replace all 4 speakers, brakes and rotors, battery at my expense. They checked the "pass" box on the owner's manual but then add in parentheses "if available". If it's not there, then don't PASS it.

    Also had a bad cowl panel and needed new filters, all which they claimed "passed." I bought the extended warranty. Guess what? Silver Rock insurance company doesn't cover Those items. Items which shouldn't have passed their 150-point inspection to begin with. So now I'm on the hook and all carvana wants to claim is that they "passed within their parameters." I barely drive anywhere! How could they ALL be bad in 34 days!?

    Carvana used to be a good place to buy a car, but I guess times are tough now so rather than do right by their LOYAL customers (yes, bought from them before). They'd rather make us choke on their fake inspection process. Warning. Get your new Carvana vehicle to a trusted local mechanic IMMEDIATELY within the first SEVEN days so that you can get out of the deal or before the first 30 days is up if you'd like to keep it but have the issues covered. It took me 34 days to uncover all these things gradually. I missed out by FOUR DAYS and rather than admit they are at fault, they decided to blame ME for not noticing these things sooner! UNBELIEVABLE!

    I got a 2020 Range Rover. When I drove it the first day it was running weird on the highway. I took it took it to the repair shop, there was an oil leak and transmission issues, there is no way they did a 150 point inspection!!!!     Be very careful when you purchase a car from Carvana that needs to be shipped to your location. They were purchasing my car and we agreed on price and I paid $9,200.00 difference to them. I arrive on site and they verify my info, take title of my trade, ID and proof of insurance. They take the plates off my car for transfer and check the mileage. They're satisfied to move forward after documentation and my car will be brought out front for pickup. NOW!!!! This where they say to me that the car sustained a small scratch from car carrier during the ship. I walk around to the passenger side and view this gash That's ripped a hole in the roof of the car. So they try to convince me to accept the car and get it repaired. So, I take the car they damaged and I have to do all the work of getting it repaired and then wait for repair. NO!!

    I decide we won't be buying the car and want my title and plate returned. My $9200 I paid them will be refunded in 7 to 10 business days, after their internal review. I'm still waiting! I understand that accidents happen in cars being shipped but hiding the fact until delivery was a deal killer for future purchases with Carvana. The stupidest thing is that I still am being charged for shipping. WHY? They damaged the car with Carvana Car Hauler, why should I pay??? If you buy a car that's shipped you are paying the freight no matter what condition it arrives in!!!! What a bad experience! The icing on the cake is that on my drive home I get a text stating that the damaged car is now back on the website and available for purchase. Stayed on the website for 2 days before removed to go off to structural roof repair!!

    Purchased my 2010 Subaru Forester in December of 2023 (Carvana certified) upon receiving it, it needed new brakes calipers and rotors. Issue right out of the box. Then an engine light went on and I needed to replace the fuel tank and the evaporator tank. All these items were repaired and replaced under warranty but I will advise people never to purchase a car from any dealer in the WINTER. Had a nice spring day so I would use the air conditioner and to my surprise no air conditioning. I WAS STUCK AND SCREWED! I believe the word CERTIFIED needs to be redefined. This is going to cost me about $1500 to $2000 to fix after paying $15,000 for a CARVANA CAR THAT WAS “CERTIFIED" WITH A 150 point inspection. I called them and told them about the issue but as you can read this review, I am STUCK!

    Inspection, really, yes you may have inspected it but you never did anything to repair the issue. On a positive note ,the car is a manual shift and ran well after the issues were taken care of through the Carvana a warranty process. Yes, I was without a car because the contractors are few and far between and can’t get good people to work for them so I was at their mercy!. My advice to all of you is that you can get ripped off anywhere but don’t pay 15K as I did. They lost $2000.00 to repair my car and I will Eat $1500 for air conditioner. I paid $5000 more and I thought I would try them and I won’t be doing this anymore. Stay away from CVT TRANSMISSIONS and if you get a car from one of these companies, make sure you take full immediate advantage of the warranty. This is my personal experience buying from CARVANA AND BUYER BEWARE.

    8 days in and so many regrets. Did a trade in with a perfectly good Mercedes Benz car, received a Porsche that I couldn’t turn the steering wheel after day 4 of receiving the car. Stranded and had to have someone push the car to the side of the road. Got the car to a Porsche dealership and 10,000 worth of damage that should have been repaired before the car was delivered to me. My first and last time ever dealing with this company. FYI no issues during the test drive. Everything started a couple days later. I was extremely worried about trading in my benz which gave me no problems for another car and turns out I should have followed my gut. When the dealership showed me the pics of what was the main problems, I couldn’t believed they gave me this car like this. Will not use again. Will not recommend. I have a lawyer on standby just in case

They have had a check from my loan company now since the day after purchase and will not deliver car because they need a picture of the check that they have had for a week and a half.     When I began looking for my next car after getting in a car accident I immediately came to Carvana, I had seen many commercials about the company and even seen their license plates so I saw it as why not go with a company I know of. That was the worst mistake I have ever made, I love my car from carvana BUT I HATE the fact that I got my car in November 2023 and it is April and I have already had to get a new battery because my car died when it got cold in January and they told me my battery voltage was too low, I need new tires because I received a car where the tires might as well had been bald.

    The key fob to my car died in January and I had to get that replaced and pay for that, my front brakes rumble when I break so those ALSO need to be replaced or I'll be on the side of the road fighting for my life. By far the worst decision to choose Carvana. How do you as a company sell a car and not replace the necessities of the car? Would never recommend to anyone close to me. The car buying process was definitely easy and painless but the fact I need to fix my car already is RIDICULOUS!!!!

    THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL FROM YOU! I was approved for a car loan through Carvana. Sent them the info for the down payment (all the money I had in my account) they called me that night and said they couldn’t work with me due to an open bankruptcy. The following day they drained my account. When I asked for my money back I was told 3-5 businesses days.

    When I called on the 4th business day I was told 5-11 business days. Here I sit, no money to survive and no car. I will never for as long as I live recommend Carvana. I used them years ago to sell a vehicle and it was an easy lovely process but this company will steal from you at the drop of a hat. I need a car to survive and they have my money under lock and key and I can’t even go find anything else. They have lied to me about when this would be rectified not to mention they took this money AFTER they denied me a loan. They will prey on you when you are at your lowest. Do not use this company if you value honesty and commitment.

    Saturday morning, I finally found the exact vehicle I was looking for and put a preorder on it as photos and details were not posted yet. Tuesday, I received notification from email that I canceled my preorder. I click on Carvana to see who and why my preorder was cancelled. It shows vehicle is no longer available. I instantly go to the texts message where they had confirmed my preorder and asked why was my preorder cancelled. I get texted back that only I can cancel my preorder and that they can't on their end. This obviously a lie because I did no such thing. I have waited 4 days for photos of vehicle to be posted. Then they had the nerve to ask if they can help me find another vehicle. Another bait them with a can't be real vehicle and then try to sell them another one.     Get a car from Carmax, not Carvana. Both cars came with dangerous tire set, nasty exterior cosmetic issues, alignment issues, worn out brakes. Carmax fixed everything! Carvana fixed nothing, even wasted a week of my time sending me through a warranty process that was useless. I sent multiple emails to various Carvana Executives. They never answered. Customer service and 132 point inspection were jokes. Only the joke was on me. I had to wrestle some with Carmax, but eventually they fixed everything from replacing dangerous tires, electrical issues, cosmetic issues, etc. All without the extra warranty. Still have Carmax car 5 years later. Sent Carvana car back with a sigh of relief. Be warned.

    Scheduled an appointment for Saturday and signed the contract as soon as I got it. Right after signing they confirmed my appointment for Monday instead without any clear communication that they can’t make the appointment. Now I can’t reach anyone there as besides the useless bot. Need to go through all the hassle of rescheduling my insurance cancelation and have to deal with this on top of my move abroad. Horrible service.

    Carvana has changed. I have never experienced a company who has worked so hard to not make a sale. I have a car with them and was trying to get another one through them. I have been late last year in September but have been on/before time ever since. They’re telling me now I have to wait until April 13th. Like if you’re going to approve me in 12 days, what is the difference approving me today? Like they literally take out the money and tell you that you can’t get the car and have to wait for the 13th and on top of that have to wait 10 days for your money back. Like why take the money out if you’re not getting the car??? Like that is ridiculous. Then have you talk to different reps that tell you different things.

    A rep was like “we have to wait until the 13th to make sure you won’t be late again”. How crazy is that if my payment isn’t due until the end of the month and I already paid up all 6 months. Then a rep was telling me I can call every 72 hrs for them to hold the car. Like first why would I waste my time to do that. 2nd a different rep said they don’t do that. The customer service has been beyond terrible!

    The inventory offered many choices and it was easy to buy the car. Delivery was delayed but was great when it happened. The car is very nice. Everything advertised. But the registration is late, my temporary tag expires today. And no real help is forthcoming from them. They refer me to the dashboard that shows only that registration is complete.     I thought that this would be a better more seamless process than going to a dealer and I was wrong. I placed my order on a Wednesday. Shipping fee and down payment came out of my account and were posted by Friday. Monday rolls around and I’m being told that even though the money is out my account Carvana does not have the funds and my order is at risk of being cancelled. Carvana has plaid set up and can see for themselves that down payment got taken out. This has been the absolute worst experience. I should have went and spent 5 hours in a dealership I would have walked out with my car and nobody trying to lie about funds coming out when it’s been out my account for 3 days.

    1 star because I can't give 0. We went through all of the steps to purchase a vehicle for our son with 50% down and 50% self-assured financing through our credit union. The day of delivery, during the window for delivery, we received a call that the vehicle would not pass state inspection. We were presented with 3 options; 1. wait for the necessary repairs to be made, hope it passed inspection and have the vehicle delivered, no ETA, 2. Find another vehicle or 3. Get a refund.

    The refund process was a joke. Even though the funds had cleared my bank, they were, "not available to be released back to me at this time." I was told the process takes 5-14 business days, making those funds unavailable to me to use as a down payment anywhere else. I was assured they had high vehicle standards, and that they would rather have an upset customer than deliver a bad car. Naturally, I inquired as to why they were even selling a vehicle that would not pass inspection if they had such high standards. I received no legitimate answer. So we began looking for comparable vehicles. While we did find several, all of them had an additional shipping fee that Carvana would not waive or discount. Ultimately, they did nothing to rectify the situation aside from ask for more money from the consumer so that they could "try" to make it right.

The vehicle was returned 3 weeks ago, Carvana said they issued a credit back to my bank, it's been 2 weeks and still no funds in my account. I filed a complaint, they said the refund was processed but unsuccessful, so they will issue a check instead. I was informed that it will take another 3-4 weeks for processing and shipping of the check. Very frustrating, it literally took Carvana 1 day to withdrew the funds, now it will take over a month to get it back. Don't buy from them!

    I was going to purchase a Kia Soul from them this month and canceled because it was an electric engine. They charged me $300 for a delivery fee. They advertise 7days full refund but that is a lie. They refuse to give me my money back and said that I was given instructions on how to cancel even though the option to cancel was nowhere to be found on my dashboard. Bottom line, be very careful when making a purchase with them. They have a huge class act against them for not providing vehicle titles to customers. They have many predatory practices.

    Bought a truck from Carvana about 5 years ago and went smoothly so thought I would try again and this time has been a nightmare. 2021 tacoma with 30k miles and no issues reported. I get the truck and the undercarriage and motor are covered in rust. inside reeks of smoke, and the rear right door was broken. They wanted to pawn me off on the warranty company to address the rust and broken door. I tried to swap the truck and they made me drive an hour in to get the new one. I show up and the truck that clearly said 4x4 online was not a 4x4.. So I rejected the swap and asked to cancel it. They couldn't give me a ride home so I had to take a truck back.

    They told me returning would take 5-10 days. About a week passes and I hear nothing so I reach out and I'm told I was supposed to drop it off the next day. So to cancel it they made me drive an hour back up to drop it off. I paid for the truck in full and still haven't received my refund. They have not offered to do anything to make up for the inconvenience and despite the truck not even matching what was posted online they aren't returning the shipping fee... Worse experience I've had...

    I had the most unpleasant experience ever with this company and I absolutely cannot recommend it. They were quick to take my money without ensuring they had everything they needed in the first place. On top of that, every person I spoke to gave me completely different information. I followed the instructions given by one person, only to be told by someone else that it was wrong. To make matters worse, I started the purchase of a car and they took $2200 out of my account instantly. Then, I received a phone call stating that I needed to remove a lock on my credit report. Instead of putting my order on hold, the person cancelled it, causing me to lose the car. However, they still had my money and told me that it would take 5 days to process and another 10 days to return the money.

    I then found another car, but encountered the same old issues. They took an additional $700 out of my account, yet one person was telling me one thing and another person was saying something completely different. So now, they have $2900 of my money that I cannot use to purchase a car from somewhere else, and they expect me to wait for a month to get it back. I am absolutely livid about this whole situation.

    I purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200C from Carvana on 2/29/2024. When I received the car there was a smell of burning coolant and shipped with bald tires (even though it was supposed to be replaced by them prior to shipping) so I had it inspected by one of Carvana's insurance company SilverRock's authorized service centers. A mechanic ruled that when Carvana changed the coolant they spilt some on the engine and they cleaned it up for free. Not even 3 weeks after, a check engine light comes on with code P0302 for a Cylinder 2 Misfire. The authorized service center noted that the Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils were bad.

    Carvana refuses to replace the spark plugs and pay for the labor even though their 150 point inspection claims they looked at the engine and replaced replaceable parts. Spark Plugs typically have a life of 30,000 - 100,000 miles and the car was only driven for 2,000 - 3,000 miles and shouldn't have failed. Carvana refuses to replace or take responsibility for any issues after many calls from SilverRock and Carvana and no resolution can be reached.

    I have bought two vehicles from Carvana this year and sold them one of the vehicles I was leasing from another company. When I bought my first vehicle at Carvana (2015 Toyota Corolla), the agent of representatives (Registration Department) would ask for documents (proof of insurance, ID etc...) and every time I'd send to them, I would receive either a text or email from them saying they haven't received anything and if I didn't send them by the deadline (next day at 11 am), I would lose the vehicle to another buyer. I would email them and then call them. They'd tell me they haven't received anything. I'd proceed by sending them everything they asked while I was on the phone with them until they confirmed they received everything. That was a bad experience, but I thought it was an isolated incident.

    The second vehicle I bought from them, was a Mercedes I found on their website and really liked. I also had one of vehicle that I wanted to trade it (a lease) so I end up with two vehicles (Toyota Corolla and Mercedes Benz). Everything seemed okay at first. I sent them the lease payoff of my Camry and hopped on a call to confirm they got all my info. The agent I spoke with told me they have everything they needed for my trade and I was all set (ID, Dashboard picture with mileage, Lease Payoff copy etc...). Since I was aware of Carvana's lack of awareness, I made sure they also had all my auto insurance info and put them in touch with my auto insurance company.

    Fast forward, I was at work and one of Carvana's agent called me to let me know that they won't deliver the Mercedes I bought because they trade wouldn't work anymore. I asked them why and they told me to call the sales department. I figured that was the registration department that called me. I called sales and they told me Carvana doesn't accept lease trade-in, and said the only thing I can go is sell them the car. I laughed at how ridiculous that sounded then asked them what I needed to do to keep my delivery date.

    They told me I should purchase the Mercedes separately and sell them the Toyota separately as well. At tha moment I was upset because since I couldn't use my trade, that meant my financing numbers for the Mercedes would change as a result. Monthly payment went up by $50 which isn't bad but the fact that they pretended they were not okay with using my lease as a trade although I sent my info on their website and communicated with an agent to ensure things were okay.

    I proceed by buying the Mercedes and went through another infernal cycle of them saying they didn't get the auto insurance info etc... I literally had to step out of the office, stayed inside my car and went through everything with them over the phone. When I was about to end the call, I expressed to the agent how I was disappointed and upset at Carvana's poor UIUX and customer service. He apologized on behalf of the company and told me they will continue to improve so things like what I experienced wouldn't become a pattern. Before ending the call, I also asked the gentleman if he had all my lease info so I could sell them my vehicle. He told me "Yeah". I checked, double-checked and triple-checked and he audibly started to sound a bit annoyed so I assumed things would go well and I shall wait on them to send someone over to conclude the sale of my vehicle.

    They never sent anyone and later this afternoon I got an email saying that their original offer of 21166 expired and they could buy the vehicle from me at 20600. At that moment I realized that Carvana is a scamming company. They wait for their customers (buyers or sellers) to be so far into the process and drop the ball on them to try to either increase payments (in the case of a buyer) or lower their offers (in the case of a seller) in order to deceive them. I had such had hopes for them but after this experience (3rd trial with them), I decided to write this review and will make sure I share it on all platform so that I can get their attention and prompt them to improve on their service.

    I am a two time customer of Carvana. Purchased two BMWs: an I3 and a 530i. Neither of those transactions were smooth, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I decided to purchase a third vehicle through them. This time, they treated me like utter garbage. Put me through the ringer on income verification. I am Self Employed, with more than enough money to buy the vehicle outright, but I was buying this one for my business and could use the write-off. I'm sorry, their customer service agents are just not intelligent people. They just read from a script. Rude and unhelpful. Pros: Yes they will approve just about anyone. Cons: READ the fine print regarding the warranty. That SilverRock company will run you around to every Pep Boys and AAMCO they can before they will let you take a car to the dealer.

    Carvana will wipe their hands of you once they have the deal done. They will tell you in all cases you have to deal with SilverRock. Carvana hides allot of things...especially cracks in windshields. If you buy from them, make sure you examine your windshield. If it is cracked and you don't report it to the delivery driver, you are stuck paying for it yourself. This is your typical USed Car Dealer...Nothing more.

    I ordered 2 cars from Carvana. Both came in with significant issues and could not be driven off the lot. The second car had a fault that was cleared using an OBD tool. Had I not checked with my own OBD, I wouldn't have known and had some very high repair bills. I believe this constitutes fraud. Do not buy a car from this company. Problems are covered up, support is terrible, and once you drive it off the lot you could be in for some very expensive repair bills.

    MULTIPLE Issues with Loan Approval and Refund Process.1. Despite providing bank records and tax documentation to verify our income, CARVANA rejected our application. This is surprising considering I have been successfully self-employed for over a decade and have used my income documentation to purchase two vehicles in the past without a co-signer. One of which was brand new. 2. Not only did they take our shipping fee and down payment, but they have now failed to refund our down payment after rejecting our income documentation. It has now been 12 days since the initial transaction, and after speaking to a customer service representative named Tyler, we were informed that the refund process was never initiated. Tyler mentioned that it would take an additional 10 days before we receive our refund, which is unacceptable. This entire situation is outrageous and has caused us unnecessary stress and inconvenience. We expect prompt resolution of this issue from CARVANA.

    So the buying experience was very easy. We picked out a vehicle and they delivered it to us. What wasn't a good experience was the fact we asked to transfer a tag we currently had on the exact vehicle we traded in for the new vehicle. We were told we could do that but they ended up sending us a new tag which we had to pay for when we already had a tag. Then two months later we receive a letter from the DMV saying my husband is getting his license suspended due to not having insurance on the car we TRADED to Carvana two months ago! The DMV has no record of the car being sold to them so.. again, now we have to take off work to go to the DMV and straighten that out. NOT an overall good experience due to these issues.

    I had bought a 2022 Tahoe for 54,000 on 2/2124. They pulled the money out of my account immediately, plus shipping fee. On 2/23 I was notified that the car was no longer available (it was a partner vehicle, so it's listed in multiple places). They then said they would not refund the shipping fee and only the down payment. I insisted on a full refund and a supervisor, and still have yet to have a supervisor reach out. I have had numerous text messages with the company and phone conversations and it is 3/6/24 and I still do not have my $20k back. I was told 3-5 business days. It's been way past that.

    We cancelled because they told us one monthly payment, then they sent a contract with almost $100 more in monthly payments without even notice. We did not sign the contract, cancelled within 24 hours of them taking the down payment and shipping fee. We called after we cancelled to get our refund and we were told we would have the down payment and the shipping fee refunded since the car was NEVER shipped. Money was to be in our acct. today. It’s not. Called again and now we are being told they are keeping the shipping fee—-even though it was never shipped and still no down payment refund.

    We were told we’d get the full $3900 which included the shipping and today, some small minded individual told us no, we were not getting the shipping fee. We asked to talk to his supervisor, he denied it, more than once. What the heck, how can he deny us wanting to talk to his supervisor? They have no right to keep money for shipping a truck that was never shipped. That is theft. DO NOT buy from them, they are crooks and now if this is settled quickly, I will have to contact a lawyer. These people are no good.

    I recently purchased my first vehicle on Carvana and have had 2 poor experiences. First they advertised the mileage as 1700 but it turned out it had 7500 miles. After much pressure and many calls I was able to get $500 back, it wasn't fair for the mileage, but I took it after seeing they weren't going to provide fair value. Recently I drove my wife's car an noticed it has a small service engine light on but it was small and in a cluster of other lights, very unusual versus other vehicles. I took it to an auto parts store to read it and it turns out it was an O2 sensor message. I realized that wasn't urgent but I eventually took it to the Ford dealer who said my catalytic converters were missing and straight pipe had been installed in their place. Ford said the repair would be $2,200.

    I found the inspection report that Carvana supplied and if showed that the Catalytic converter passed, which of course is impossible. I contacted Carvana to make this right as they misrepresented the vehicle, not saying its their fault, but whomever they used for the inspection defrauded them. Their stance was that wasn't their fault and they refused to do anything and were less than sympathetic. I asked for a supervisor and they wouldn't connect me and said they would tell me the same thing. I have never had such unprofessional customer support and will definitely not be doing business with them again and will tell everyone I can about their lack of concern.

    Found the car on Carvana I thought was a fair deal. Went through the purchase process. The car was from a 3rd party affiliate. They had to verify the car was still available which they did, and I paid for it and had a pickup date set. On the day of pickup, I received two e-mails. The first said the pickup date was pushed back two weeks. The second e-mail canceled the purchase altogether. I was told a Carvana representative would give me a call within 24 hours to go over my options. I was never called. After 2 days of waiting I called them to inquire about getting my money back. I was told it could take up to a week to get my money back. Today is 2/19/24. They have had my money since 2/9/24. I don't know why they wouldn't immediately wire the funds back to my account. I'm stuck without a car and without a way to purchase a car until I get my money back. Feels like theft at this point.

    I purchased a 2012 Corvette, and had it delivered to my residence on a Saturday. That Monday morning, I took it to a very reputable auto repair shop, to have a complete diagnostic check of the vehicle. They found numerous air-bag codes in the On-Board computer system , that WERE NOT listed on the Carfax Report provided. It was also determined that all (5) stereo system speakers were blown. I immediately took it to a local Chevrolet Dealership for further examination, and they thought the vehicle had probably been in a flood. When I notified Carvana of my findings, they just told me to return the vehicle, which I did. When leaving, I noticed a rep placing a "Certified" label on the windshield. Bear in mind: "The 7-Day Return is really only 5 days"...Really short time to have the vehicle checked out thoroughly!!!

    Be aware if you are using a Trade In vehicle in the purchasing process with Carvana that they WILL NOT accept Leased vehicles as Trade Ins. Nowhere in their online process do they make you aware of this, until after they have scammed you out of a down payment!

    On 1/18/24, my husband and I went through with purchasing a Lincoln MKX with delivery planned on 1/27. The contract was signed, down payment confirmed of downpayment of 1290, insurance uploaded. Car was on its way. On 1/19/24 we received a message that we could get the car earlier if we picked it up. We got online to chat with an advocate on how to make this happen. The advocate informed us to just change delivery on the contract. What he didnt tell us was it voided the contract and made us go back through. Suddenly the terms changed to 7100 down. We discussed this with the advocate who ensured us that the company would honor the terms of the original contract. They took 7100 out of our account. We immediately cancelled the delivery and the 7100 cancelled. It is now 2/1, it is still under review (stone walling), they will not allow us to speak with anyone other than an advocate.

    I have asked numerous times that either the original contract needs to be honored or we need the 990 for delivery reimbursed to us. Every time we speak to someone "it's still under review". Mind you - there terms are good for 30 days. Ill let you think of whats happening there. Stone walling so they dont have to honor the original terms maybe? So we are out 990 for delivery of a vehicle that never got delivered and a company that refuses to escalate our calls and chats to supervisors, and liars who keep changing time lines. Do not believe a word they say regarding terms and downpayments. And if you have a problem - just save yourself some grief and get an attorney involved.

    I was a little hesitant to buy a car online but the convenience made it completely worth it. I compared the price to other dealerships and it was only a few hundred dollars more which I think is worth it for the convenience of not having to deal with a Salesman and the multiple hours of paperwork when you visit a dealership. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was in and out in probably under 20 minutes. They submitted my title to the DMV but I unfortunately have still not received my plate from the DMV because the Colorado DMV is so backed up. So my temporary plate that I initially received has now expired.

    I called to Carvana with this issue and they issued me a check pay for alternate transportation so that I would I not have to drive with expired plates. They expedited the check and I had it within 5 days. I thought this was just above and beyond customer service. The vehicle that I purchased was exactly as expected and has been a dream to drive. There were no flaws or issues. I have had nothing but a good experience with Carvana and would recommend them to anyone. The DMV on the other hand..

    I purchased my car through Carvana and was able to pick it up 2 days later; I live in a very rural area and had to travel about 50 miles to get it. The whole process was the easiest I have ever been through to buy a car. There was no sitting in a dealership for hours, no waiting on some salesman to tell me what they value my trade in as, only to really give me the shaft in the end. Carvana paid off my trade in, in full, and the left over money from the trade was put torwards my new ride.

    The new car was very clean and running great when I picked it up; they even put the code reader on it to show me that it was not throwing any codes. I got 7 days to drive this car and decide if it was right for me; a dealership has never given me that option. In those 7 days, you can take it to a mechanic and have it looked over and if something is not right, you let Cavana know within those 7 days and you are under no obligation to purchase. It really is the better way to buy cars and I am in my 40s and have been buying cars for a while! No, you don't get to haggle the price but honestly, I do my research beforehand, so I am aware of what a decent asking price is, and I hate to try to haggle with used car salesmen anyway! I have already made my first payment on my car and since the process was so easy, my wife purchased from Carvana a month after I did.

    While it was nice to buy online and not deal with high pressure tactics at dealerships, and we're generally happy with our vehicle, we had two major issues post sale that revealed a discrepancy between how Carvana advertises inspecting and prepping vehicles for sale and what actually happens. First, we discovered a few months after purchasing vehicle that the tires very worn. If tires had been inspected properly for sale, this shouldn't have been an issue. More importantly, when we went to replace them, we discovered the tires had locking lug nuts and we needed a key to get them off. Carvana had not provided a key, nor were they able to locate a key when we contacted them. So we paid several hundred dollars to have the lug nuts drilled off and replaced. I spent hours on the computer and phone tracking down someone who would help reimburse us for the cost, which they finally did, thankfully.

    However, just recently, about two years after purchase, we discovered that the metal key inside the electronic fob Carvana gave us with the vehicle was not cut to fit the car they sold us. We'd been using the fob for keyless entry and ignition with no issue, but after a long trip we returned to the airport to find the car battery had died. The keyless entry therefore didn't work, so we took out the metal key from the fob to unlock the car manually--only to discover that it did not fit the lock. This put us in a potentially dangerous situation, locked out of car at airport in a lot with two young children. Luckily, we had AAA to help us.

    We paid $375 to cut keys that actually fit what Carvana sold us. This confirms the discrepancy between Carvana's alleged vehicle inspection practices and what they actual do with a car before they sell it to you (not much, apparently). But this time, they say they will not reimburse the charge, as it's been too long and car is 'out of warranty'. They won't take responsibility for their shoddy work, nor for putting our family in danger.

    I recently put my Tahoe on the market and got quotes from several dealers and Carvana was the best by a good margin. I then tried selling myself but after just a couple of days I quickly realized that I didn't want the hassle of negotiating so I immediately went to Carvana.     I couldn't have been happier. Michael with Carvana called 15 minutes prior to arrival and arrived exactly on time. He was very professional and explained everything and made sure that we understood the full process of what was going to take place. He then did a visual walk around of the car's exterior/interior. Next he took the car for a short test drive to verify that it operated properly. After this Mike went over the paperwork with us. Mike then showed us the check for purchasing our car and asked if it was for the correct amount. I told him that it was. He then asked us if we had any questions before signing the title over to Carvana. We had no questions and signed the title. The car was theirs and he handed me a check for the agreed upon amount.

    This was such a quick and easy process. I will definitely use Carvana again. They came to my house fully prepared to purchase our car. All paperwork was completed prior to their arrival and only needed my signature. The process was seamless and only took approximately 30 minutes from arriving to loading up the car.     Back in 2019 I sold a Kia Soul EV to Carvana, so when it came time to sell my Nissan Leaf they were the first place I thought of. I had checked out my car's value at other sites like KBB, and Carvana's offer exceeded my expectations. The online experience was quick, as was the in-person service when they came to complete the transaction. The Carvana rep was an experienced professional, in and out; after a few signatures I had a check in hand in under 15 minutes!     My wife bought a car from Carvana. It was sold as having a 100,000 manufacturer warranty. Well the warranty does not exist according to GM. I spent over $700 on repairs out of my pocket at GM dealership and the motor quit knocking for a few weeks and has now started back. All Carvana did was send me $100 check in the mail as an apology for lying. The apology is not accepted. The car still has less than 100,000 miles. They should do the right thing and fix the car. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Carvana.

    To start off the selling of my vehicle was just OK... then I had another vehicle I offered to sell them. The process was like dealing with inexperienced kids, who had no idea what they were looking at. Asking for the documents, on the second vehicle... REGISTRATION, PAYOFF, then the statement.. with all these documents in front of them they said they can not purchase a leased vehicle... the vehicle is not leased, and they still argue the facts.. this was not the only time I had to deal with incompetent kids, as I had tried to purchase a vehicle a while back.. with all of the tax information there, the young girl argued that I did not make that much income... very inexperienced and would say it be better to sell or purchase a vehicle from Auto Trader.

    The other fact is that you're not verbally in communication with them, instead it is a computer chatting with you and can not answer questions, but gives suggestions. My opinion it is not worth the headaches to deal with CARVANA, and it is not worth going to talk to someone at a location as they will not talk unless you have a appointment, and again, that is not possible unless you satisfy them through the electronic communication. Will not recommend doing business in this fashion.

    I hate to write this review, given the initial positive experience we had with Carvana, but they failed on this purchase. This is the second car we have purchased from Carvana. The first purchase was a very positive experience with no complaints or issues. This led us to purchase a second car for our daughter, who lives in Boone, NC, a mountainous and hilly region. As we drove the car to her, we noticed the brakes were not operating smoothly. When applied at speeds over 40 mph, the steering wheel juddered and the car shook. Seeing this, we arranged for a visit to one of SilverRock’s repair facilities.

    After waiting 8 hours for SilverRock to make a decision, we were informed they would ONLY cover the replacement of the rear rotors, not covering the front rotors and the brake pads, even though all rotors had warping and extreme rusting on the rotors. So, how did brake rotors in such bad condition make it through Carvana’s certification process? And, why is SilverRock prioritizing NOT paying a $500 repair over the safety of the individual driving the car? After contacting Carvana, we were told they could do nothing. Shame. Lost a repeat customer.

    The online search for a vehicle was simple and straightforward, I found several cars I liked and with the provided Inspection and Carfax report I was able to narrow the choices down to the best, in my opinion, choice. Financing was simple enough and taking delivery of the car was also just as easy. During the 7 day trial period my check engine light came on (no way to predict this happening) but Carvana immediately resolved the issue paid for repairs (defective sensor) and all was good. I am currently waiting to see how the registration process goes but I do not expect any issues there as everything is handled by a third party title company. All in all I have had zero issues and will definitely recommend them to my friends.

    I just purchased a Ford Mustang from Carvana. The inspection report indicates the exterior appearance only has 2 imperfections; chip on the hood and a small dent on rear bumper. Which it does not have either. At a glance, the car looks great. Upon closely inspecting the vehicle, it would be merely impossible for an inspector to miss that this vehicle has obviously been in an accident. The driver quarter panel looks and feels different than the rest of the car. This includes stripes at the bottom of both sides of the car. The driver side stripe only goes to the door, whereas the stripe on the other side goes into the quarter panel. This vehicle was sold as no accidents. There are a couple of deep scratches and the front grill is missing a big chunk. So one might ask, "Was this intentionally left out of the 150-point inspection on purpose to mislead the buyer"?"

    A vehicle that has no accidents versus a car that has is a huge discrepancy. I brought this to their attention and the replies I get are automated and I had to complete a complaint on each item individually. It is my collective opinion that this is a serious matter that Carvana leads you to believe they closely evaluate the vehicle because its values include making sure customers are getting what they are paying for. I had to complete a complaint for each scratch...etc.. separately.

    As of yet, no one has directly attempted to reach out to me to offer any type of resolution to my satisfaction and or compensation based upon the failure to efficiently inspect vehicle in its entirety causing incorrect car value. Unless of course this was intentional. With this said, if no good faith attempt is made, I will never purchase a vehicle from Carvana again and I will make sure to tell all my friends, family, neighbors, and work associates. Disappointed, Eileen.

    I sold my 2017 Chevy Malibu Hybrid to Carvana over a week ago and am still awaiting payment. I dropped off my car at a local Carvana location on 12/13/23, I was told when they accepted the car that I would have my ACH payment in 1-2 business days, about 5:30pm that day I received an email saying that the payment had been processed. I gave them until Monday 12/18/23 before I contacted an advocate about the lack of payment, I was told at that time they had a message into the Accounting and would email me once they received a message back. I gave them until about 3pm 12/19/23 before I contacted another advocate, I was told that the Accounting department was gone for the day but that they would leave a note and that I would need to contact them again the next day.

    12/20/23 I contacted a new advocate first thing in the morning, the note was there and I was told that they could not verify my account for the ACH and that a check would be overnighted to me with no indication on when that would happen. The big problems, 1) Why was I not informed when the ACH for my payment did not go through? 2) Lack of follow through from either the first advocate I spoke with and or Accounting, and 3) Why was my check not automatically fast tracked when Carvana was already late in paying me. This was the worst experience I have had selling a car far and away.

    Sold a car to Carvana, overall the process is what I had expected. The "secure your offer" amount had changed (went down) before the offer actually expired. 15 mins with a rep via chat got that squared away. The process through the site was pretty straightforward. The problem came in the last few steps. After most of the arrangements were made the site disclosed that there would be a pick up charge for my area. I ultimately delivered the vehicle to the store and attempted to hand them a bill to the manager for the same amount (I didn't expect to be paid). He felt it was preposterous and insisted that carvana wasn't going to have it. Had carvana bought this car at auction they would have likely paid more and had to pay to transport the vehicle to the nearest store. So watch for the last minute bump or change in costs.

    I asked for a quote on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra Se, and was quoted 2,000. I put my vin number in there, and the true mileage and details. I then went to buying a car with Carvana's website, and find 2017 hyundai elantra se EXACTLY like mine for 13,900. I looked at all the pictures. It is exactly like mine. I can't believe they only offered me 2,000 leaving the balance due on my car at 3200.00 and they put that on the offer. I don't understand how Carvana can get away with this. I heard Carvana was better than Carmax, But they absolutely are not.

    Carvana is a good concept. Pros: 1) they have a large selection of vehicles that allow you to find the make, model, mileage and price point you want 2) they beat dealerships on my trade value, 3) you can research the Carfax and window stickers to know what you are getting your self into. Cons: 1) when you deal with Carvana, you bend to the will of their "machine," 2) their operating system is rigid, and doesn't communicate very well, 3) advocates that step in when you ask "Sebastian" the Bot to work with a human can't problem-solve too well off of their scripts, 3) I am suspicious of the veracity of their "150 Point Inspection" and "Carvana Certified" claims -- here's why: after several months of in-depth research at dealers and Carvana, I bought a Volvo XC40 from Carvana.

    The morning after I picked up the vehicle, I switched on the ignition and a dash warning alerted me to "turn off the engine, low coolant level." I texted Carvana's bot and asked what to do; text was ignored, so I called customer service. Long story shorter -- one advocate told me to tow the car to an approved garage, another told me to tow the car to the closest Volvo dealership -- neither mattered because when I initiated a service call with Carvana's Roadside Service vendor they had no record of my purchase and told me to call back Carvana to get it worked out.

    I ended up topping off the antifreeze and driving the car to my mechanic where I learned: 1) the car needed front/back brake pads, and wheel alignment $650 out of my pocket 2) repair of a front engine seal leak, broken rear hatch struts, a new steering wheel and new battery for Volvo On-Call System -- fortunately all fixed at the dealership under warranty. NONE of these warts were mentioned on Carvana's inspection report. I love my newish car now that he is back to factory specs, no thanks to Carvana. Their seven day return guarantee evaporates quickly -- get your ride checked out by someone you trust to make sure you are satisfied with the deal.

    With my recent purchase I experienced multiple issues and problems. I set up a purchase and did everything that was asked of me. I had to wait a week for an appointment date and time. On the day I was to pick up the vehicle, 2 hours before my appointment time, I was told they were not going to sell me the car. No explaining why, just decided to not sell it to me. This in itself was a major inconvenience, I had to take off work and drive two hours to the pickup location. But I was offered a 250 dollar check for my inconvenience and still haven’t seen it yet. So, I found a different vehicle and again did everything required of me. Then again a week later for my scheduled pickup time and on the day of, was told the car isn’t there and it would be yet another week. I was told they don’t know why it wasn't there or what happened, although I got all the notifications that everything was in order. So, I had to wait another week.

    I was told I would get another 250 dollar check for my inconvenience, that I still haven’t seen. I was also told the car would have a full tank of gas, a complete detail, and a dining gift card to have a meal on Carvana. The was not detailed, didn’t have a full tank of gas, and was told they don’t do dining gift cards. Then there were mechanical and cosmetic issues. Afterwards I start the repair process through Silverrock, which gave me grief for not wanting to cover all the issues, and flat out refused to take care of me. It was a terrible experience and got nowhere with customer service.

    I purchased from Carvana a 2013 Ram 1500 4.7 l V8 tradesman pickup. The vehicle had 34,000 miles on it. I'm paying 571 a month for it, now it has to go into the shop not but 3 months later because it overheated and possibly blew a head gasket because the cooling system hadn't been flushed or if they did flush it they added the wrong coolant back in it. Now I'm stuck with a I'm sure over $1,000 bill for a 34,000 mi truck that didn't last 3 months after I purchased it. No wonder these screw-offs deliver their vehicles. I'll never go to Carvana again, they can just fall off the face of their as far as I'm concerned.

    We all have fears about purchasing something as large and important as a car completely online. Well, if you use Carvana, those fears will come true. I purchased a car on 12/9/23, received multiple confirmations of the purchase, had over $20,000 pulled from my bank and had a scheduled pickup date. I called two days before to confirm the pickup and Carvana told me that the purchase had been canceled. Even worse they said that I canceled the purchase. I did not cancel the purchase. I am very good with technology and I would know if I canceled it.

    There was no confirmation of the cancellation whatsoever and they submitted an “engineering” ticket to find out how the order was cancelled and could give no explanation. Meanwhile they sold the car to someone else. So, they had me sign all the documents, do all the tedious uploading, took money out of my account, and then sold the car to someone else and I don’t when I’ll even get my money back. I can’t stress enough to stay as far away from this company as possible!!

    Good experience overall, just be careful to make sure all options are included that are advertised in the description. Our car was missing an important feature that was listed in the description and when we contacted Carvana within 24 hours to follow up they basically did nothing but say it wasn't actually listed so did not show great customer service for a $24,000 purchase so ended on a disappointing note.

    This was a horrendous experience. The lack of inter communication is deafening. I used a third party lender (my credit union) for financing and Carvana dropped the ball way too many times to recall. From botched numbers, false deadlines, 5 Carvana cancelled deliveries, a 150 mile drive to pick my new dirty and uncleared car at a broken “car vending machine”, unfulfilled promises, hours of talking in circles with dreadfully worthless AI chat bots, and the most ridiculous warranty refund policy all the way to the 11 weeks it took to finally finish the transaction with them. This entire process was horrible. I can not possibly better warn anybody considering purchasing a vehicle from them. Stay clear of this rudderless nightmare.

    Bought Acura MDX from Carvana. Overall a decent experience. My only complaints are the vehicle I bought was listed as black and when I picked it up it read purple as color on title. So I had already signed most of paperwork when I noticed this. You are probably saying, “couldn’t you tell it was purple when you saw it that it was purple?”. The answer is no because it is a purplish shade of black and you really cannot tell unless it is next to a Black car in certain light conditions. Took the car anyway and it is good. The other complaint is the mileage was listed completely wrong on the title. They said they will clear this up and send a new title. We will see if that is fixed. Maybe a clerical error, idk.

    I purchased a 2015, jeep Cherokee through Carvana in December 2023. This was the first time I worked with this company and the entire process was a headache from start to finish. I do have an iPhone 15 so I have the most recent technology, but still had all sorts of issues with the buying process. Had problems from the beginning with verifying information. Taking pictures for the notary. The notary process was ridiculous. Terrible communication between the notaries and Carvana.

    Once paperwork was finally approved. Transportation was delayed three times. Another issue is that you cannot negotiate pricing. The mileage was very low, which is a good thing, but compared to Kelley blue book value. The car was over priced. Then on top of that when I finally did receive the car, the interior smelled like smoke. Nowhere in the write up was it a smoker's vehicle. Nor was any detailing done to try to rid the vehicle of the smoke smell. Also, twice when I was trying to “chat” with customer service I was flat left. No one would respond. Just every level of the buying experience was horrible. The only good thing, is that the vehicle seems to be as advertised, and after one week of use I like the vehicle.

    I sold my car to Carvana. They were supposed to pay it off. They did, but they put the wrong account number on their check to my bank. Soooo, they paid thousands of dollars to some random person's car loan instead of mine!!!! It was a NIGHTMARE getting this fixed. The process was smooth when it came to picking it up and all that, but if you sell to them and you still have a loan on your car make sure you stay on top of it EVERY. SINGLE.DAY.! Make triple sure they have the correct account numbers and amounts because if you don't they'll just make stuff up and send the money who knows where.

    Bought a 2018 Explorer Oct. 29, 2023. Had it refinanced with my credit union. They sent full payment to CARVANA Oct. 30. Then a company called Bridgecrest, keep harassing me about my first payment being due and if they do not get it, the vehicle will be subject to repossession. I explained to them that a full payment check was sent and cashed by CARVANA and that I do not owe them anything but the person from Bridgecrest still insist that I need to put a stop payment on the check, and make a first payment. I told her it was already cashed by CARVANA. This keeps going back and forth to no avail. All this could have been avoided if CARVANA did not send it to financing because it had been paid off by the check sent by my credit union. This is a very disappointing experience in buying a car from CARVANA. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

    I bought a car and traded my old one in. Have to say everything went smoothly and as expected. I loved not talking to salesmen and haggling over prices. The car I bought was just as pictured no extra defects noted. They paid off my trade in car loan quickly. Delivery driver was prompt and friendly. I will definitely continue using them in the future.
