I've never purchased a vehicle before and this way made it very convenient. When I was finalizing everything I appreciated how Jeffrey was very kind and informative when delivering my car. When I had any questions the chat always helped resolve my concerns. My boyfriend is even looking on your app to purchase a vehicle now!

Everything was a green experience. I did everything online, it was easy and quick, now they take the extra steps to make sure your identity matches which is a good thing to ensure you get exactly what you’re looking for, big ups to Carvana. 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend Carvana as a first choice to find and get the car you want

My existing car needed serious work so I was in need of a replacement fast. Carvana made it incredibly easy to research my car's history before I made the purchase and know exactly what kind of payment to expect, so I was confident when I ordered. I ordered on a Friday and had it delivered the following Monday. They actually delivered my car a few hours earlier than expected and when I took it to a trusted mechanic during the 7-day return window, the car passed with flying colors. The site's description aligned with the actual condition of the car. I kept bracing for the worst due to some negative reviews I'd seen, but I had a great experience and plan on recommending Carvana to others. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

Cancelled my order before their deadline & within their "guidelines" but Carvana still debited $1000+ from my bank account and told me it takes them 10-15 business days to refund my money. But they immediately put the SUV back up for sale and took money from another customer while still holding my funds. They kept blaming my bank, while it was quite clear they had collected the funds from my bank account. I'm a retired senior citizen on a limited fixed income with no transportation and they said, sorry they can't refund my $1000+ before 10-15 days yet they sold the SUV to someone else while still holding my money.

I have to admit I was pretty skeptical at 1st. It was so easy. Like everyone the dealership was pissing me off and non stop annoying the crap out of me! I started looking and found this Jeep that I really wanted!! Within minutes I was scheduling for my new Jeep to be delivered. Honestly, that was the worst part having to wait 7 days for it!! Once delivery day came, they were constantly in communication and right on time. Gave us all the time we wanted to look over and drive the vehicle. Before finalizing the purchase. I didn't have to return because I truly love what I got. However, it was explained how returns work and it really sounds just as simple as receiving!! Overall definitely have been raving over my experience. Will definitely return in the future! Salesmen suck and there was absolutely none of that here!!!!

I ordered a Kia k5 with 2 minor scratches, you rescheduled my first delivery, when kia arrives, we found a dent in the body of the kia, the employee calls his boss on speaker phone, boss says the car should have never been sold to the public, so we had to find another vehicle, upon looking for another vehicle, several days later the SAME KIA K5 was put back on the market!!!!
You guys lied and acted as if you did not see the dent in the frame as you did your 150 point inspection, I asked the employee how this was missed, he got very defensive, and the appointment time was 11-2 and was delivered after 2, now on the to the second vehicle delivery of the outlander, before the driver shows up, he promised me everything was ok because he heard about my last issue, so proceeds to tell me that there was a brown spot on the windshield, that was not listed, the vehicle shows up with a crack in the windshield and a burn hole in the driver seat that was never mentioned, again, the driver pretended as if he did not see the crack as the first driver pretended he did not see the dent. So I see the game, the drivers acts dumb to the situation so you can sell the car and the customer takes a loss, I still can't believe you put the k5 back on the market KNOWING there is a dent in FRAME!! I have pics of everything and text,

Purchased a 2022 Toyota Prius from Carvana. Report shows no accidents. Some minor front end damage, Carvana noted the front bumper needed adjustment. Upon inspection by my local body shop, they found it had been in an accident and the front end damage had tried to be covered up. Total cost to repair correctly would be over $6,000.00. But the coverage that Carvana proudly provides will only pay less than $500.00. Don't purchase from Carvana unless you can have the car checked by a shop you trust prior to purchase.

Experience was painful. Easy in and out. A clean interiors and exteriors would be nice while picking up. Rims are bent a simple drive test would have caught that or a simple underbody visual inspection would have picked up the car with bent rims. Simple checks needs to be done, if done already, then, well someone forgot mentioning rims.

2. Rough engine sounds and performance issues. Rough idle, engine dying, rough starts, bald tires, missing or loose trim. All quality issues and never addressed by Carvana even when reported several times.
3. Fluids, tune ups etc, never done and was told the vehicle has been completely repaired.
I would not buy from them ever again, customer service is absent along with a quality vehicle.

It's upsetting they actually buff the car which the scratches were hidden. But they checked everything was checked off that everything was inspected.

I had become weary trying to find a good used car at a dealership when my brother said they got my sister's Mercedes through Carvana. When I started asking around, turns out lots of people I know had purchased cars from them. I had a specific target (Honda Accord Coupe) and it only took me about a month to find the one I wanted. They delivered earlier than I was scheduled and the employee was so nice and informative. My car is 10 yrs old, but you wouldn't know it. It's in excellent condition, drives like a dream and I would not trade it for the world. Bottom line, I will NEVER shop a car dealership again! These folks are so professional, deliver a stellar product (both vehicle and service) and I am sol!

I can’t find the order number but the VIN is **. Super long story short the experience was horrendous my delivery date got pushed back twice due to being given the wrong information about the format of a document that was needed I was promised callbacks that never happened I was given the round around and blind transferred to departments that couldn’t help with my request. My name was misspelled on my document and when I finally got to speak with a manager he admitted the error with the misspelling was the fault of Carvana and his solution was to cancel my order and resubmit it which would’ve resulted in an additional delay of my vehicle! It’s their fault and they wanted me to suffer the consequences of their mistakes then when I pressed him he offered to take $250 off the sticker cost which wouldn’t even cover shipping! It was insulting.
I was told I would receive a gift on delivery due to all of the mistakes that never happened. Either just lie after lie. No accountability. No one willing to take ownership and fix any of the issues I had. I came up with all the solutions for all the issues that came up during this process. Not one Carvana rep came up with a valid solution nor even offered anything viable. Would never recommend this car buying experience to anyone. I’d rather sit in a dealership and go back and forth for 5 hours instead of having to call Carvana every day for an entire week and still having a crappy experience.

Horrible experience, trading, and buying a car from Carvana. Not worth it, use another dealership. Just to be clear I am still in the process of trying to purchase my wife’s car. First off, they make you put the car on your insurance before you even have purchased it and have it in your possession. Next, even though the bank approves your loan for that specific vehicle, if the bank does not cut and mail the check within the time Carvana decides is appropriate, which for me was 2 days due to us ordering it on a weekend, they will cancel the delivery date and put the car back on the market for sale even though you have signed all the legal paperwork with your bank and your bank is in process of purchasing it.
You can even submit all the bank paperwork but they don’t care if the check has not been mailed. You will have to reorder the car which isn’t hard, but what if someone else starts to purchase that vehicle? It would be a huge pain to get ahold of your bank and cancel everything. The whole process is a headache. I don’t know if this is the Salt Lake dealership or just the Carvana Corporation. Carvana is the worst and not worth your time.

My buying experience was awful. I had been warned against making a purchase with Carvana but decided to give it a shot. For my purchase, I secured my own financing. Carvana required several underwriting steps - this was not the problem. They also assessed a deadline for each step. Rather than giving me a list of required steps to complete I was told each step one by one, only after the prior step cleared underwriting. In one case I submitted the required documents prior to the deadline of 9pm, that day. At 9:02pm I was notified that I had a new document requirement due that same day at 9:00pm. That is not a typo.
Immediately after, I was notified that I had exceeded the 9:00pm deadline for the new requirement and the car that was on hold for me was released back into regular inventory. I called, trying to understand what happened and if someone could see the error and make an adjustment to the deadline since there was no way I could meet a deadline that had already passed. I was informed that I could have more time to satisfy the new requirement and that my reserved vehicle would still be held for me but I would have to reschedule the delivery of my vehicle. After all requirements were met the second issue popped up. The day of delivery the driver called and asked if I had seen the car online. I told him, "Yes, I viewed the photos."
He sounded very concerned and sent me a video of the vehicle. In this video, he showed remarkable damage to the front bumper of the car - on both sides. In the online photos this appeared as a glare from the lights/flashed used to take the photos. Also in the online profile of the vehicle there were imperfections noted but this damage was not included. Finally in the 150 point inspection report it was documented that damages had been repaired to the front bumper of the car.
The damage this gentleman showed me was on the front bumper and definitely had not been repaired. He suggested that I find another vehicle. I did look online and in that moment could not find a replacement. I asked him to bring the vehicle so I could see the damage in person. I also asked him to check to see if Carvana would repair the damage since they indicated that they had on the 150 point inspection. He called a member of management who shared that Carvana would not repair the damage. I took delivery of the vehicle and immediately started looking for another comparable car.
I found one that evening or the next day and notified Carvana that I would be exchanging the vehicles. Since I secured my own financing I had to go through underwriting again. This second process was worse than the first. I spent 2-3 hours on the phone with various Carvana representatives trying to ensure the transaction went smoothly. Some reps were condescending, some seemed not to know policies that were stated by prior Carvana reps. My experience was most frustrating when dealing with Offshore reps. They seemed to have policies which conflicted with Reps who were "On shore".
When I finally cleared underwriting for the 2nd vehicle and went to pick it up the battery was almost completely drained. I was told that for EVs the battery would be at least 50% charged and for gas powered vehicles, they would have at least a half tank of gas. The first (damaged) vehicle I received was only charged to 32% on delivery. I picked up the second vehicle. It was only charged to 17%. I could not make it home on that charge. I talked with the staff at the pick up location. He said I could charge the car there but they have an extremely slow trickle charger. It would take over 12 hours to reach a level that would allow me to drive home.
In both instances (initial purchase and exchange) I paid out of pocket for charging instead of either vehicle being at 50% charge level, as stated by Carvana. Finally - after my exchange I needed to contact a Carvana rep to ensure they would be returning the check for the initial purchase (I changed banks). This process was an extreme hassle. I dealt with 3 or 4 Carvana reps with my bank representative on the phone. The confusion seemed to be in the vehicle. It was the same make and model as the prior vehicle but was a year newer and a different color. This tripped up Carvana reps immensely. So I tried to be very clear when speaking about the cars. That did not help, it only proved they were not listening.
2 hours of that call later we finally were able to confirm the check would be sent back to my bank but not without the Carvana rep being rude and stating private information while on the line with my bank. Overall, Carvana is more hassle than they are worth. Too many lines of red-tape, inconsistent knowledge in their employees/contractors. Very few seem to actually care about the customer's experience. I'm sure they have a place somewhere in the car buying world but if you have good credit and can secure your own financing please go elsewhere. Carvana will be an unnecessary headache.

This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Choosing and buying the car was easy enough. They were quick to get their money. But three weeks later and I still don’t have my car. It was originally set to be delivered on August 7th. On August 7th at 11am (when it was supposed to arrive) I received a text message that it was delayed. Not a call from a person. Sat on hold for 30 minutes and was told it would be delayed a week. The representative was less than helpful. Basically telling me “there is nothing we can do”. I’m in a rental so I extended the rental. It was supposed to be delivered August 14th. I called the previous Monday to confirm and was told by THREE separate employees that it was on track and that there was no delay.
At 1:55 am on August 14th I received an email telling me that there was a second delay. And now my car will arrive August 20th. Sat on hold again to speak to someone. I was immediately transferred to a manager that was absolutely no help since she couldn’t even tell me where my car was or any information what so ever. I asked to be transferred to another manager. I was transferred to Rob. He was not helpful either. My car is somewhere in Tennessee (an 8 hour drive) but I can’t go get the car because “logistics” won’t allow me to pick up my vehicle. He can’t guarantee that my vehicle will get to me on the 20th but will “track” it to make sure it’s on time.
Although they “validated” my feelings throughout the call several times, it does absolutely nothing that now I have to spend more money on a rental, my car has been delayed twice, and the communication about delays are less than ideal. But they are giving me $100 gas card on a car that I don’t have in my possession. I also have received texts about my payment being “late” because I have not received the car. I will NEVER buy from Carvana. I will NEVER recommend Carvana to anyone. The uncertain delays, the lack of communication, the lack of their ability to rectify the issues that THEY caused it’s all just too much.

The online buying process was a bit disjointed between the purchase, the financing and the insurance. Once you go to pick up the car the process is a bit concerning because you are really working with a customer representative and not someone knowledgeable about the vehicle or vehicles in general. I raised concern about two bald tires and was told the car passed inspection. I don't know how it passed inspection and would question the shop that approved it. I subsequently brought it to a Carvana authorized shop to reinspect the tires and they confirmed my belief. The tires were bald and could be dangerous. They also found the battery was on its last legs and needed to be replaced. All of this was done free of charge by Silver Rock. Those issues are resolved but I still have an open issue. When I picked up the car, the windshield had a chip. The 150 point Carvana inspection said the windshield was fine.
The customer representative took pictures and told me she would file a claim and that Carvana would call me and come to my house and fix the windshield at no cost. I called Carvana the following day and they said they had no claim. The phone representative subsequently reached out to the pickup location representative and sent me an email noting that the chip was present at the time of pick up and that this would be a covered repair. I received an email from Silver Rock saying they do not cover glass chips and the claim is denied. I called them and explained the situation and that I did not chip the glass, Carvana did, and they said Carvana would have to notify them.
I called Carvana again and they said the claim was filed incorrectly the first time and would be filed correctly. I received a notification from Silver Rock yesterday saying the claim is denied. I will be calling them as soon as I finish this review. Definitely not a painless process, I would probably not use them again. Very time consuming. (I do like the car).

I love the car I bought and believe I paid a very fair price not available through a dealer. Totally happy with the purchase. However dealing with Carvana through the sales process took patience and perseverance. Customer service is lacking, uninformed and frustrating. 2 quick examples: 1) I had all tasks and paperwork in hours before the deadline; yet Carvana failed process, cancelled the pickup time convenient for me and delayed delivery of my vehicle -- even though I paid outright in full. 2) Told I could not transfer my plates by "ambassadors"; when I arrived at pickup facility it was no problem. All said the savings I got on my purchase and the trade in value received worth the frustrations. If you are an informed car buyer and know what you're looking for -- Carvana is a place to get a "deal".

Online shopping with Carvana is simple and easy once you decide what vehicle is right for you. When first initiating the process, they give you the impression that you can take your time submitting the required documents but then all of a sudden there are deadlines to meet and pressure is put on you to submit said documents. Repeated missed deadline emails are sent and threat of not holding the vehicle until they are submitted. Sometimes the issue is with their programing not allowing documents to be uploaded or it's after hours with your bank and there's a delay in transferring funds. Overall, it's a fairly painless process if you want to avoid dealing with the pressure of salespeople.

Carvana claimed that the Subaru Ascent I purchased had a tow hitch and trailer wiring harness. It did not have these features. I was offered a $100 reimbursement for this. It cost me $1,300 to have them installed. While the dealership was installing them, they discovered that behind the 3rd row seat was disgustingly filthy. Carvana had not remotely adequately cleaned the car prior to selling it to me. When I brought this to their attention, they said that I should have notified them sooner even though it had only been a week. I have purchased 4 vehicles from Carvana, but this will be the last. I have told everyone that has asked me about it not to buy from Carvana in the future. I have also made social media post about this incident and will be making many more. When asked to talk to a supervisor, I was told no, and they relayed the information to the supervisor, and came back with some ridiculous answer that didn't even reflect my question/complaint. Stay far from here, you will regret every even trying them out.
Once you are on your third car, because buying a car is a big thing, and you want to be satisfied, you are stuck with that car, if you accept it. But nobody tells you this when they bring the last car and you sign for it, it's yours, no matter how much you hate it. Its very hard to buy a car without having a look at it, driving it, getting comfortable with it. This car has been a nightmare since it showed up. Transmission pan was leaking and broken, rear main seal is leaking, water pump is leaking. I got to drive it a day and half before it spent 6 days in the shop and it still has to go back for the rear main seal and water pump because Silver rock needed actual proof since there was so much leaking they couldn’t verify where all the leaks were coming from. For a company that does a “150 point inspection,” it sure seems like Stevie Wonder was the one doing the inspection.
I reached out via text to extend my 7-day money-back guarantee and was never connected with an actual individual. I traded you guys a perfectly fine running car to deal with my car being in the shop constantly. I work full time and need transportation to get back and forth and you guys have put me in a real bind by selling me a car I believe you knew was broken and leaking everywhere. But since I’m past my 7 days (considering it spent 5 of those days in the shop) here I am. I will never buy another car from you and have been completely dissatisfied with the entire experience. After I exchanged them and told an advocate about the damages the car were put right back out for sale within 24 hours, I’m positive no repairs were made. The Lexus I currently own now was not the car listed on the original description, the trim was incorrect and should be a difference of 3-5k on the price but was told only 1k difference. Car had an oil pan leak, it was repaired under warranty, but when this glitch was pointed out to Carvana my wife said the response was less than impressive. Was originally scheduled to pick up my first car on a Wednesday but received an email the day before saying it would be delayed until the following Thursday. Pretty disappointing waiting 11-12 days for a new car you just purchased. Is what it is but the disaster was when I actually went to pick the car up. As soon as your employee drove it around, you could immediately see the car was 3 different colors of yellow. So immediately started going around the car and it was one of the worst cars I have ever seen.
The entire car had been repainted, all of the moldings and seals had yellow paint on them, the quarter panels weren’t even close to the factory color, the right quarter panel had a huge run at the bottom, the hood and spoiler still had tape stuck down in them, the emblems were half missing from the rear, the front bumper had a sticker on it that was painted over, there was sanding material left in the door jambs, paint everywhere on the car it wasn’t supposed to be. A $42,000 car that your employees just thought was ok to be sold. I rejected it. Was advised to call a corporate number. Called and told my story to 4 different people. Think anything was done for me? Nope. You can pick out a different car, wouldn’t even waive the shipping charge for the one I picked out, which was a $1000 more. Didn’t do a damn thing for me except apologize. I was told to set up a new ACH withdrawal for this new car.
We left the following morning for a weekend getaway. Get a text Saturday morning saying I need to deposit my down payment by 1230. I call in to ask and I’m told I need a cashiers check to complete my order. I’m 6 hours from home at my step daughter's cheer competition. My closest bank is over an hour away. Luckily everyone was understanding and I missed her competition and went and got the check. Picked that car up 3 days later but still not perfect. WILL NEVER USE CARVANA AGAIN!

Horrible experience, I recommend not going through Carvana ever. Car had way more damage and issues than what was pictured. When they dropped it off, all they could say was that I could not take the car, but I'd be out the $1300+ for the delivery. Way to care about your customers. Online it showed a little chip, however, there was a big gash on the side as if someone side swiped it, the bumper was not on correctly as though it had been hit off and haphazardly put back on, weather stripping on top was flying off, and pieces of the car falling off by the windows. WORSE than the shady car salesmen that we are supposed to be avoiding. I spent just as much money, if not more on a car that was incorrectly represented, and at the end of the day Carvana doesn't care because they got my money. Please take your money elsewhere. Carvana is shady, dishonest and a horrible company.

I had been looking for my car for a few weeks. I knew exactly what I wanted including interior and exterior color. I first went to a BMW dealership, but my fiance wanted to find a better deal. I checked all BMW dealerships within 300 miles and contacted a few places that had this exact car. I finally found my car on Edmunds from Carvana. I had no idea how Carvana worked, but it was by far the easiest car buying process of my life. You get pre-approved, then simply follow through the purchasing steps, entering in a short amount of information. Carvana will then email you notifying approval, etc.
There is a 7 day return window but keep in mind the shipping cost is non refundable. It cost me around $290 to have it delivered to a location close to me, which I recommend over getting it dropped off at your house, only for the cool vending machine experience. I chose the next business day to pick it up and it arrived in time. The whole process once I went to pick it up was about 10 minutes. You sign 2 papers and show your license and proof that the car is added to your insurance and you're good to go! I couldn't believe it. Not to mention, I got this car a year old for $13k under the MSRP with absolutely no issues and low mileage!! Also, if you finance, it would be through Carvana. Your payment is due 30 days from the date you receive the car.
A lot of people are concerned about not being able to see or drive it beforehand, but Carvana provides every single little detail about the car on their site, and I would recommend taking it to a dealership (if new) to get it inspected for your relief, or a mechanic place (if older) and get it inspected there. The reviews I read on Carvana seemed very positive about selling the car, but not so positive on purchasing a car. My advice is follow all instructions thoroughly, show up on time, be patient, and you should have no issues!

The support I have had with my purchase experience has been far below what I had expected based on the brand image Carvana promotes. My vehicle's description missed more than four obvious cosmetic issues with the vehicle that should have been noted. It was clear that some of these were due to mishandling during inspection, photography, and detailing.
- Curb rash on multiple wheels nearly 4 inches in length
- Rock chips on the roof
- Paint scratches along the entire rear spoiler
- The entire front splitter was torn from the car during delivery and it was left up to me to get fixed. None of the other items that I mentioned to the delivery staff were added to my concerns, despite being advised that they would be taken care of .
Mechanically, this car was poorly inspected, and left in a hazardous condition.
- The aforementioned front splitter was left hanging from the front bumper and drags on the ground.- The front tires were replaced with a lower quality brand of tire that doesn't offer tires that fit the rear wheels of the car, meaning I have no chance of owning matching tires until the front tires are worn. I would have rather had the price lowered so I could buy my own set of new, matching tires
- The car was delivered with a dead battery. Had the car been inspected, this battery would have been replaced as the car could not start without being jumped, and the battery was the OEM 8 year old unit from the factory in 2016!
Because of the state of the car, I could not safely drive it or take it for proper inspection. No ability to start, and a hanging piece of trim made this an impossibility. With only 7 days to inspect my new car, I was essentially delivered a new $50k liability. The first week of ownership became a nightmare for someone with a full time job, as the SilverRock warranty partner is not open weekends when I could take time to begin providing claims details. All calls to Carvana support were fruitless because they would try to redirect me to SilverRock, despite the Carvana delivery employee being the one to rip the front splitter half off the car.
I had taken days off from my job to take delivery of the car and perform an initial inspection. That does not help when the delivery is unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled for a week later. I had multiple appointments planned ahead for inspection and service, which could not be re-scheduled within the 7-day return period. I was not given a refund or credit for my delivery delay, though I would have picked the car up from Carvana if I had been given the option.
Carvana took a dream car purchase and turned it into an additional burden that I would not have had if I had purchased elsewhere. I will be haggling with the warranty partner to make my car whole for several more weeks, which is not a stress I needed. It is obvious that Carvana is not equipped nor trained to sell, inspect, or deliver enthusiast cars.

You can customize your payments, add GAP insurance and an optional extended warranty during purchase. The document steps were simple and easy to follow; we were able to track our progress and delivery. Delivery went great and the communication from the driver was excellent. The overall purchasing experience was very efficient and straightforward, no complaints there. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition, passing a full inspection by my personal mechanic. However, the appearance of the car upon delivery was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting a fully detailed bright & shiny car like you would get a dealership. It did appear to be washed, vacuumed and wiped down in the main areas, but there was quite a bit of dirt & debris in the cracks & less seen areas. The dash & leather were lacking luster. I paid for a full exterior and interior detail out of pocket to get the car in the condition that I would have expected it to be delivered in. My only other complaint is the lack of a spare tire. Would it really be such an additional cost on Carvana's part to include the full size spare for which there is space for in the trunk? But thanks for the fix-a-flat kit.

I didn't have a good experience at all. Starting with the delivery of the car, the staff were respectful, however, I was expecting a lot more of the delivery process; someone that would walk-through the car and its condition. I was simply given the key and the staff appeared rushed for me to check the exterior of the car and sign papers. The car only came with one key, no owner's manual, and was missing a floor mat. The seats were dusty and the car smelled like smoke that I had to pay to get detailed later. Carvana reimbursed $100 for it but that didn't cover the full cost. Also, there was a low tire pressure warning that we had to chase down an employee to address.
Additionally, the website description listed the car as having passed a multipoint inspection. We recently took the car to get checked out and a part of the suspension is leaking fluid and the car needs new rear brake pads. I've had the car less than a month and will spend $7k to get it fixed. How wasn't this identified by Carvana in their assessment of the car?
Carvana should be more transparent with the condition of the car. The car's description needs to do a better job clearly describing what is missing or damaged. I suggest they offer a real time video walkthrough so customers can be informed and have the opportunity to ask questions before they make a decision. The 360-view video is not enough. Also, during the delivery a knowledgeable person should do a walkthrough of the car acknowledging what is missing and ask the customer if everything is as expected. The person who worked with us didn't know anything at all about the car. Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend anybody to use Carvana.

Needless to say, it’s worse than it was before I brought it in. AC still doesn’t work. Squeal is worse. I called carvana to see if I could possibly have this car refunded and if they would make an exception to help me and they adamantly refused. The guy had such a thick accent it was hard to understand him and he continued to just say the same thing. Said it shouldn’t be on road to two front tires were wore out on inside and vehicle had been in accident sometime in its lifetime and very poorly fixed so I returned it and second one was in lot better shape. It just needed brakes which I paid for because warranty company is kind of joke. You can probably get decent car. If I could leave zero stars I would. They pulled money from our account on July 31. The day of delivery two hours before they told us that there’s a warning light on the car and it will not be available for another two weeks. Now we won’t have the person home and they cannot work with us. We can’t have the car that we planned to purchase for my husband's commute delivered to where my husband is going to be working because then he would have two vehicles to drive home, and they would not add my name so I can sign for it. This is after two hours of giving us the run around saying it’s delayed because we chose to finance the car. Then when we say none of those options will work for us and we want a refund they tell us it will be at least a week or more for the funds to be in our account. Which means we cannot purchase another car to start the commute.
When we then requested a way to talk directly to the people processing our refund we were told there is no way to do that and we have to go through the “advocate” first. The one who told us wrong information about our account and refused to connect us to someone who knew what was going on. When asked if that would be corrected the gentleman on the phone stated that they must “have just been on the wrong account” and that there would be no corrective action taken to correct this mistake to ensure this doesn’t happen to others, but that all their people are “highly trained”. This company seems like a complete and total scam. This is the internet's version of the oily used car salesman who upsells you a hunk of complete junk and then tries to dance around the corrective steps to return your money.

I received my car with an excess amount of damage (mind you none of it was disclosed in the pictures). While the delivery driver was still in my driveway. I reached out to Carvana. They said, "Oh don’t worry about it. Everything will be covered. All you have to do is open a ticket and submit. It’s a super easy process to get everything fixed." They told me to reach out to SilverRock and they will make everything good as new.
I’m stuck with a very, very damaged vehicle. I’ve gone to four body shops and wasted a very valuable time. I’ve had to take four days off of work for this. Three of them that said, even though they’re on the approved vendor list they no longer will do business with SilverRock because of either payment issues, they try to nickel and dime everything or they are just not worth working with. I finally found a body shop willing to work on it, but he said don’t hold my breath because it will take time and they’re not going to fix much and I have probably about $7000 worth of damage and I’ll be lucky to get a 10th of that covered.
It looks like major shipping damage. Both c-pillars are completely scratched through the paint. There’s a chunk out of the front and rear bumper and every single wheel has an excess amount of curb rash. The sunroof is scratched pretty bad. It looks like the car was rubbed sandpaper. SilverRock finally got back a hold of me and said the wheels just look like cosmetic damage. They’re not going to do anything for that so now I’m stuck spending $2000 on wheels. Because I believe one has a leak. Took it to two tire shops for the flat tire that it’s had since day one. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention the rear tires are bald and the fronts are not far behind?
The icing on the cake as I was planned to have callbacks from multiple Carvana employees who said they would help swap out a vehicle or perhaps find me a better alternative or deal with SilverRock for me after they talk to their supervisors, I believe one gentleman‘s name was Ron and he promised up and down that he would call me back and he never did. When I called back the next day to try to get in touch with him, I was told he was too busy, and he would call me back. Shortly a week later never got a call. I spoke to a few people who said, "I would wait for SilverRock or you can just return the car." I checked the website. There’s nothing else that I really wanted in my price range. I asked if there’s anything they could do they said absolutely not. I asked if I could get my truck back they said no so I was going to be car less or get stuck with this.
I will say the delivery driver was very nice. She even looked a little uneasy about how my car looked, but she was very kind as well as the process itself is pretty great, but I am beyond disappointed with every other aspect of it. I really do enjoy driving the vehicle, but I can’t walk into my garage without feeling feeling like I got robbed out of all my years of driving and being a car enthusiast this is the worst paint job I have ever seen.
I’m sure this review will never see the light of day but if it does, I don’t think Carvana is a bad company. I just really think they need to step up their inspections I’m appalled they would let a vehicle like this leave the shop. This is a 2023 with 20,000 miles on it. Newest vehicle I’ve ever owned is in worst shape than 1990 wrangler that I off road regularly.

So let me tell my story and provide nothing but the facts. I purchased a 2019 Classic Crew in 2023. No less than 3 days after driving the truck and had all kind of problems. So I took the truck to Firestone. Once they told me the issue, I got angry. I called the phony Warranty company that did not want to pay the $5400.00 in repairs.
So I called my attorney and they did their job. It was only then did Carvana pay for the repairs in full. They even lied to me about mailing truck mats for the truck. Since they didn't want another round with my law firm, they sent me a $100.00. Now I go to pay my property tax for 2024 and find out they never paid the property taxes for 2023. You see you can not get any car or truck registered in SC without paying the property tax first. How SC DMV allowed this company to get away with this is beyond me. So this is the THIRD time I have to unleash my law firm on this unethical company. So to the people that claim the loudest people with complaints are here, have some compassion for what these people are experiencing.

The service associates were very friendly for the most part but one interaction stands out in my memory. I called to get more information, especially since I was arranging financing from outside Carvana. One of the associates was talking over me, and said my payslips were required, even though Carvana was not doing my financing. I told her that was not necessary and she kept on arguing with me that it was required. She was extremely rude, and I was trying to get her information and she refused to divulge who she was. If you can look in the logs and see who I spoke to, when the payslips were uploaded, and narrow it down to a lady, you would be able to isolate the individual.
Additionally, the rates offered by Bridgecrest are extremely high, and the level of service through Bridgecrest is very low. (Carvana has a very novel concept and the execution is very very good, but unfortunately, I would recommend you find additional financial partners in order to facilitate adoption and growth.) When it comes to a custom experience, the overall Transaction was very good, especially when it comes to seamlessness. However, it’s important to note that your best experiences are only as strong as your weakest link. I refer to the extremely rude individual that ruined the experience for me.
Additionally, the vehicle I purchased had issues with the rotors in addition to the fluid levels. The oil level was at the bare minimum, and if I hadn’t checked, I would’ve run into much problem down the road. It was still within the seven days and I was able to get this issue mitigated. All the fluid levels that were below the minimum were the radiator fluid. I was very surprised to see that new brake plants were installed on rusty rotors! Who does that? Fortunately, I have experience with these vehicles so I know what to look out for. I feel for those who do not know and I just overjoyed to make a large investment into a vehicle not knowing the risks. Carvana can do better.

I have had the car for 6 1/2 days. The first day I got it there was no working air conditioning. The tires were at 5% just yesterday. I went to start my car and the battery was dead. I tried to jump it and it wouldn’t start, so now I’ve had to have the car towed which Carvana insurance company that they work with said they will not cover. I have had two major issues in the first 10 days and had to fight with the insurance company for them to even cover a portion of the car since it was taken to an out of network service network. The reason I had it towed to out of network was because the Carvana app that was supposed to help me find an in network provider wasn't working and I had to Google a provider that serviced my type of vehicle. Very unhappy.

This was the easiest and fastest way I have ever purchased a car. I wasn't planning on a purchase anytime soon until a driver not paying attention slammed into my rear end thus totaling my old car. I had a 2015 Ford Taurus which I loved. As soon as I got the notice that my 2015 Taurus was Totaled, I said "God I need help!" Just then, a Carvana commercial came on TV. I logged in and searched your site and found that you had just loaded a 2017 Ford Taurus Limited Edition. It had 27K miles less than my 2015 and was a model with more bells and whistles! I bought it. The whole process took less than 10 Minutes! I love my "Newer" Taurus!

Buying a car through Carvana was an excellent experience. We encountered some minor issues within the process such as the original car we were buying having an issue with the title, which is not a quick fix here in Pennsylvania, pushing our delivery date out, as we chose to go with a different vehicle rather than wait potential weeks for the correction of the title on the original car. Honestly though, it was a blessing in disguise and we love the new vehicle even more. Carvana was very quick to address the problem and was most helpful in presenting us with all of our options moving forward. They very quickly transferred our down payment to an alternate vehicle, processed everything in a timely manner, and had our new vehicle delivered to us within 2 days.
We love how there is no haggling on price, no waiting for hours at a dealership just to be turned away or have them trying to get you into a car you don't want. All the financing terms for each vehicle are presented when browsing. There is no guess work and no surprises. And, as I said, even though we experienced some minor frustrations, a Carvana advocate was there every step of the way and in constant contact. Would highly recommend Carvana! It is definitely the new (and improved) way to buy a car! Thank you Carvana!!!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. The process of purchasing a 2022 Tesla model Y all went smoothly until the Indentification Verification. 5 short ambiguous questions designed to prove you are who you say you are. Simple enough. Nope. If you fail twice, you will not get financed from Carvana for 6 months after the second attempt. Something is fishy here. After failing the first time, I gave the second time some serious scrutiny. I looked at each question, and pulled up loan information, house information, and Experian credit report, JUST to ensure that my answers were 100% accurate. This time there is no doubt in my mind I was 100% accurate. Failed again! I took screenshots of all my answers and double and triple-checked my data against Experian and there were no mistakes! Furious.
I called Carvana. I told them about the system and something not being right. The rep was awesome. Not her fault. She was going to get an engineering ticket submitted to reset the ID verification. Then have a supervisor call me within 24 hours. No supervisor called (then I knew something was off). In the meantime, I uploaded my passport, my social security card, three utility bills showing my name and address, three paystubs with my name and address, bank account information, and my READ ID license (verified by the state). All the while they had no issues taking out 7890 dollars out of my account for the downpayment. Wait...whose account? MINE. That was another level of verification!
Meanwhile, on the app, I was told I had a delivery date and asked to upload address verification, pay stubs, and Social Security verification, I gave everything but a urine sample. When I called today, the underwriter Tracy was a gem. She got on the call with her manager (who again refused to talk with me.... I'd fire ANY manager who refused to speak with a customer) and he said we can't reset the ID verification despite me being right! Wow, GREAT customer service.
I reached out to the CEO this morning. I doubt I'll get a reply. I put in a complaint with the BBB as well. I pray this doesn't happen to anyone reading this review. It probably will never happen to you, but keep in mind, the way I was dealt with (or lack thereof) shows the character of this company. Buyer beware, read all the reviews on Carvana before considering buying a car. We purchased a 2022 Honda Civic. They failed to list all of the imperfections on the car. In addition, the car has some vibrations/steering issues in the front end while driving. We were advised to contact Silver Rock Warranty Service. We took the car to Silver Rock repair facility. They did a thorough inspection and stated that the repairs would be around $4700. There are issues with the tie rods, bent wheels and steering rack. A claim was filed with Silver Rock from their contracted repair facility. Claim was approved, denied and closed with no explanation. I would’ve left zero stars if I could. This experience has been nothing but an absolute nightmare. Clearly, they don’t value or care about their customers. As a first-time car buyer, I chose Carvana because I knew I didn't want to walk into a car dealership and wonder if I was getting hustled. Carvana made it easy to shop and I quickly found a car I liked at a great price. I chose to pick up my car and it was so fun to watch my car come down the vending machine. All that being said, I wish there had been more explanation and overview of the many steps involved in buying/financing a car geared towards the customer like me who had never done it before. It was confusing and sort of stressful to be told, "Congratulations!" on the purchase, making me think I had completed all the necessary steps, only to be told a few hours later that I was missing a document and if I didn't upload it by a certain time, the purchase would be canceled.
This actually happened two times - first on Wednesday when I bought the car ("Congratulations!" but then it wasn't explained that I only had a few hours to buy the insurance and upload it right away - I thought I simply needed to buy insurance before I could pick up the car, so I'd have a couple days to do that), then on Thursday when I uploaded my proof of insurance and got another "Congratulations!" but was not told at that time that I also needed to immediately upload a photo of the loan check, a PDF of the promissory note, and a photo of the signed RPA. After I uploaded everything as soon as I could, I was so stressed out not knowing if there was another document that I would be told to upload ASAP or else the purchase would be canceled. Because I had never purchased/financed a car before, I didn't know which documents were a standard part of the process.
There should be a checklist showing ALL the documents that needed to be completed and uploaded. It definitely doesn't make sense to me, in retrospect, that I was informed of the missing insurance verification on Wednesday but was not informed of the other missing documents at the same time. If I had seen a checklist showing each step of the process, that would've made it much easier for me to know when I had completed everything.
As a first-time car buyer, I was already somewhat nervous about the process because it's such a big, important purchase, so I absolutely would have benefited from some more explanations. That is my only issue! Everything else was really great and the customer service was also really kind and responsive when I needed to change my appointment to pick up the car due to being sick. I have been recommending Carvana to friends and family, with the small caveat that I found some parts of the experience stressful, and I will most likely use Carvana in the future if I ever need to purchase another vehicle.

I originally chose Carvana because of the perception their marketing creates of thorough inspection and full disclosure. In fact both of those are essential to buying a car sight unseen. Unfortunately, neither of those held true. The issues were:
-The supposed pictures of the flaws captured the minor things like hairline scratches. They did not capture the major things like a significant rust spot on the tailgate, an obviously poorly repaired gas cap, the obvious misalignment of body panels at the front.
-The car went through a 150-point inspection (supposedly), but a few weeks after we got it the transmission was shuddering a bit. We took it to a mechanic, and he said the transmission fluid was so filthy that it needed to be flushed 3 times to clean it out. It was very expensive. We contacted Carvana to ask for reimbursement and after much effort in chat and phone calls, they refused to escalate our concern. Their response was that transmission fluid isn’t part of the 150-point inspection, and that they would not help cover the cost. Seriously?? Transmission fluid isn’t part of the 150-point inspection on a car with an automatic transmission? That would be somewhere near number 1 or 2 to anyone who has ever held a wrench near a car.
-The car arrived filthy inside and out. We had to degrease the exterior and clean the previous owners hair and nastiness out of the interior.
-After paying 4x the market rate to ship the car to the nearest Carvana dealership, it arrived over a week late. Further, once that money was spent, returning the car basically was a nonoption.
On the positive side, Carvana has perfected the process of receiving your money. I never had to do so little work to hand over $25k to anyone. I won’t be using Carvana again. I actually prefer to go talk to a car dealer than repeat this!!!

I recently purchased a 2021 Challenger SXT as a gift for my husband. This is also the 1st time I've used Carvana. I was very upset with the details left out concerning the cosmetic issues with the vehicle. The vehicle has scratches all over the vehicle (even the roof!), paint chips in other places, no spare tire and the middle area, where the gear shift is, has several dents! The car was semi-cleaned when received; it was a rushed job. We looked for other options prior to the 7-day window, to exchange, but could not find a comparable vehicle. I am dissatisfied with the information that was presented online versus what we received. We are left to replace the middle console trim and see about maybe buffering the car to eliminate the scratches and trying to touch up the areas with missing paint.
The process to obtain the vehicle was rather painful, asking for a multitude of documents and in the same instance better than having to wait several hours at a dealership! I would highly recommend to point out ALL imperfections about a vehicle, even if they are small details. As a consumer, and to be responsible for a 6-year note, it's only fair to fully disclose the condition of the vehicle. It is obvious this vehicle was driven after it was showcased on Carvana's site and prior to my purchase. Thank you.

Hello, I recently purchased a car with Carvana, but never received the car due to transportation problems. Approximately 6 hours prior to delivery I received a call that there had been significant damage to the car during transportation. They informed me that I could accept the car but they would immediately need to have it serviced with their provider Silver Rock or contact their internal team for other options.
I contacted the internal team after reviewing the pictures that showed a significant dent, excessive scratches and a missing door handle. I was initially connected with a man named John around 12:21. I explained the situation to John, he reviewed the account, notes had not updated yet. While waiting for notes to update, I expressed my concern with finding a comparable car, with my previous terms and comparable downpayment. John explained that he could put a ticket in to extend my previous terms and the wait would be 24-48 hours. Upon putting the ticket in, John looked through comparable cars and once agreed on one, with comparable payments we placed a car on a 72 hour hold - allowing my terms to be updated.
Prior to putting the car on hold, I asked John if I could have shipping waived on the next car, if the down payment was high as a way to make it right. He explained that he could not waive the shipping but would look to see if I qualified for a price reduction. He confirmed my state which is Colorado, and said yes we can do a price reduction comparable to the car you purchased that was previously damaged. We ended the call with confirmation of the ticket being submitted for terms extended, confirmation that car was on hold and confirmation that he will contact me on Friday since he is off on Thursday.
Fast forward to 5:57pm, I checked the app and see that my terms have been extended. I call Carvana back to help proceed with the purchase of new car. I speak to Jake, whom immediately said they would not honor anything the previous rep said and that “person was wrong” I asked that he have our phone called pulled and reviewed, as proof that I was told about the price reduction. Upon back and forth with Jake, I requested to speak to a manager (says he was one) and I was transferred to Joey.
I spoke with Joey for over an hour, going round and round, with his only solution being a $250 discount. I expressed I don’t feel that solution is adequate for the situation. I no longer have a car, as I sold mine. I already transferred my insurance, and I don’t want to put a larger down payment down than what I initially did. Joey offered other solutions but none of them solved the problem at hand. I requested a $3,000 reduction on a car that was comparable to my previously purchased car, or waive shipping. I feel that either option is doable and very reasonable, but I was still only offered $250.
This has caused EXTREME stress, and an unexpected financial situation that the Carvana team does not seem to care about making right. I am incredibly pissed and request that someone with actual decision making abilities contact me within 24 hours. This will be my 4th car purchased online and I am extremely disappointed in how this purchase and service to the customer is being handled.

I hoped and expected a better car buying experience than I had with Carvana. The accuracy of the description of the car I purchased wasn’t accurate at all. There were dents and dings on the body that weren’t disclosed but rather the lack of a spare tire and tire kit to replace it were??? Guess what guys? The spare tire is under the vehicle as it is on most SUV’s..?? That’s not an imperfection! The dents and dings are the imperfections and certainly should’ve been noted and disclosed. That’s lack of transparency and I can’t trust a company that isn’t transparent. They also delivered it to me with a split in a tire that needs to be fixed ASAP but the 100 day protection that’s included with the car is brought to you by an insurance company that doesn’t seem to want to fix the issue and get me on the road.
Now I sit with a new to me car in my driveway that I can’t even enjoy and drive. A week later and I’m still waiting to see if they’ll cover and fix these issues. The tire company also found a nail in another tire with a slow leak and new brake pads slapped on rusted brake rotors. What kind of a 150 pt inspection was it? Even the blind could’ve done a better job it seems. I put $12k down on this car and the least they could’ve done was make sure they were delivering a car to me that I could drive safely without having to worry. These are major safety issues and there’s no excuse for it. Very disappointing.

I do not recommend buying from Carvana and if you do here is some of what you should be prepared to deal with. 1: Customer service. The customer service is terrible. It's hard to get straight answers from them. They would contact me at 11am and tell me I need to get a document from my bank funding the loan by 3pm that day or they would cancel the order. They did this 3 times. Took me hours on the phone (multiple times) to get it straightened out. That's time I had to clock out of my job to handle. This was very stressful. Thankfully I have USAA and they were used to dealing with Carvana. USAA really saved the day for me.
2: Integrity and Car condition. Carvana is straight up shady. So to start they said they would detail the car and top off all fluids (standard dealer stuff). They did not do either. The inside was okay clean but not actually detailed and the truck bed was pretty dirty which whatever but the fluids were all half full and needed to be refilled immediately. That's an additional $100. There were WAY more scratches than what they showed on their website. The exhaust had a crack in it that was leaking water that was not noted when they sold it to me. 1,000 miles later I got a message on my truck saying "electronic stability needs service" and the check engine late came on. Then I go to my vehicle page on carvana.com and they basically said all warranties were expired.
Then I contact them and find my contract where it shows 48 months of coverage. Had to drag out the contact info for Silver Rock who is also a shady company. Got my appointment today so we will see how bad they are. The tires looked good in the photos but came to me completely bald. Had to be replaced a month later. Another $1,000.
Oh and you cannot leave a review on carvana. I literally asked their customer support and they said I can't. They said I can only tell them my concerns. So every review on their website is fake. Or cherry picked by the company. The worst part is I liked the company up, saw they had a very shady business history, and saw they seemed to be trying to change that and gave them a chance. Not a good decision. I get they have "good deals" but you will pay for that with repairs and stress my friend. Just go to a normal dealer.

The online portion of buying my new car went smoothly and was fast and relatively efficient. The car is great and arrived more or less as described. However, when picking up the car it was not a great experience. The facility was understaffed, leading to many people standing around waiting to be helped. The staff there were great, but running around quickly as there weren't enough of them to help all the buyers.
Worst though was that the parking lot was so full of cars they were either buying or selling that there were literally zero spots for my wife and I to park so I could go inside and finish our new car purchase. My wife had to wait in our other car or park along curbs in the lot, but then had to move to accommodate the folks detailing cars to be sold, etc, and she ended up just having to drive laps until we were sure we'd sign and accept the new car. If you are selling cars, you need spots for people to park in order to complete the transaction. The lack of parking made the pickup experience far more stressful than it needed to be.

Here is my Carvana saga. We lost both our vehicles due to Hurricane Beryl. I was in a panic, I was to start my part-time job on the 16th and my full-time starts back real soon. I needed wheels. I was skeptical to use carvana at first, but it was the easiest process ever. I did their pre-qualification and started shopping. Found a vehicle, got approved. Delivery date Friday the 12th, got a call from driver David. There is a problem with the vehicle not passing inspection. It could be fixed but not time frame. Or I could swap out for another vehicle. I decided to swap, shopped online again. Found same make and model newer with less mileage. Called because I could not figure out how to swap. Maria was amazing stayed on the phone with me the whole time. She swapped the vehicles sent the new contract and the info I needed to switch the info on the carvana insurance through root.
Set up delivery for Monday the 15th between 8a and 11a. Waited anxiously, Monday arrived. Driver Brandon called, the vehicle was loaded and he was headed my way. About 45 min later Brandon pulled up, unloaded. He was kind and professional. We were able to take it for a little test spin. Ran like a dream and still is. I am very pleased with my carvana experience and my 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan.

Buying the vehicle was easy. I looked online and found what I liked. Once I clicked the purchase vehicle option, the process started immediately. I had to upload photos of my driver's license and have a Zoom call to notarize documents. These were easy to do and at my convenience. Signing documents online was done with docusign. Scheduling pick up was easy. I chose to pick up the vehicle instead of having it delivered. Picking up the vehicle was easy. I could inspect the car as long as I wanted to and test drive it before signing over the last bit of paperwork in person. The man at the Carvana store was friendly, no pressure, and answered all of my questions. I was very happy with the purchase and pick up process. I've had the car for almost two weeks and so far no problems with it.

If I could give less than a star, I would as this has been a nightmare experience. I picked up a Mini Countryman on 07/14/24 in Bham. It died on me at the Hope Hull, AL exit. I then opted for an exchange for a Mini Clubman and it was supposed to be delivered on 07/16. This got rescheduled for 07/17 and on that day, Carvana said the check engine light was on. I did not see anything on the site that I would want to buy plus this was the 2nd faulty car so I asked for my positive equity in my Jeep via ACH and just pick up the Countryman from my property. Each person I spoke with up to the pickup driver on 07/20 said that when Carvana picked up the car, they would have my check for me. Well that was a lie and the pickup driver had to turn around.
Carvana then told me they would be here today and now I find out it won't be until tomorrow. I have no faith that I will ever get my 1800.00 nor that this uninsured car will be picked up from my property. This experience is the worst car buying experience that I have ever had. I mean your call center cannot even call a local office to see when the delivery driver was scheduled to come out but I did not get a call about that either. If I do not get my money today, I am suing you.

Be cautious if you're considering buying a used car from Carvana. I recently did and it was a Pre-Owned EV Hybrid Plug-In .. it wasn't the lowest Internet price, but I perceived its price to be a good to fair deal and it was the color (black pearl) that I was looking ... Carvana delivered the car to me and its EV plug-in cable was missing from the trunk....I went back to my printed description of the car showing details and there was no mention that this late model plug-in Hybrid was missing its charging cable .., I immediately chatted with a Carvana advocate and asked that the car's plug-in cable be UPS to me. The Carvana advocate refused my request saying used cars got sold as is so sometimes accessories or parts were missing...The Carvana advocate said It would be on me to go buy a charger cable. The best cost I could find was about $300.00.
I Googled my dilemma .... The results showed that car dealers of used EV cars said it would be very unusual for them to sell a used or new EV Hybrid Plug-in car and not provide a charging cable with it so the EV car's battery could be charged routinely at home.... Carvana was supposed to call or text me today so I could further discuss with them and they haven't so they have evidently decided to ghost me on my complaint.... I am done with Carvana .... If you are considering buying a car from this dealer, be very careful/cautious.

**Review of Carvana: Major Issues with Recent Purchase**. I recently purchased a 2018 Range Rover from Carvana, and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. Within just one week of ownership, the car needed a new engine. Despite being listed as "coming soon" for four weeks and supposedly undergoing a thorough inspection, the vehicle arrived with several undisclosed issues:
- Severe damage to the running board was not noted.
- Additional interior damage was also unreported.
- The only issues disclosed were some small scratches on the rear door and a worn driver’s seat.
These discrepancies raise serious concerns about the accuracy and honesty of Carvana’s inspection process. To make matters worse, the warranty provider, SilverRock, is likely to push for a used engine replacement rather than a genuine Range Rover engine. This is unacceptable, especially given that the car needed major repairs just days after delivery.
I am now going on six weeks without a car, waiting for a resolution to this mess. I reached out to Carvana for help, but all they did was pass me off to their warranty team with zero resolution. I trusted Carvana with this significant purchase, but now I am left with a damaged vehicle requiring a major repair and no transportation. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and the quality of the vehicle I received. I strongly advise potential buyers to be cautious and thoroughly inspect their vehicles upon delivery. Immediately taking it to a reputable shop for an inspection.

Finance approval took longer than expected and that led to order relapse, with a short time window to react, no timeline extended to remedy the situation, multiple submissions to the same artifacts, I had to resubmit the order, many calls and chats with different input from Carvana representatives, at the end I was told by an advocate on the chat that I have to remove my credit freeze while another advocate on the phone resolved the issue. During the delivery process, I highlighted many issues with the car that are not covered in the report, including rear bumper deep scratches, the advocate mentioned those will be fixed under warranty, when I tried to add concerns, it turned out I have a limit of 3 only and I can't update the photos on the concerns.
Post delivery, I got the run around between Carvana and Silverrock and my claims weren't resolved on time. A request for a search for a second key on the chat led me to recommending placing a warranty request with Silverrock, and Silverrock told me this is not covered under the warranty. Bought a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica with “clean” record and no accidents. 12 days after it was delivered I took it to be washed and water was coming inside the vehicle from the top of the windshield. The mechanic looked at it and said the roof of the vehicle was damaged and they repaired it with paint and Bondo. Also saw numerous other clues throughout the vehicle of damage and accidents. I have to take it to an auto body shop to fix what Carvana didn’t do properly.
Further, my disabled child needs this van to take her to numerous medical appointments at the children’s hospital. I now have to pay for a rental van for the next several months because the warranty o my covers certain repair places and they are all backlogged for at least 8 weeks. Trying to get ahold of anyone at Carvana and SilverRock their contracted warranty company is ridiculous and no one can help me because it’s “policy”. They can’t do anything once the car is purchased and the 7-day return policy expires. Very very disappointing. I called and spoke to a representative but I was not given compensation due an expired 7-day return policy. There should be a compensation even after the 7-day period of return for any features that are missing (which were advertised on the page of the car) as the purchase and vehicle should be in the best interest of the customer. Just sad. I am hoping there is some change of heart and more care for the Carvana customer.

I also discovered the rear brakes are "OK" but would need replacement of the rotors and pads due to rust. Landry seemed nice enough to start but quickly it became apparent that his customer service execution was solely to serve the company in the short term. I was so frustrated with his lack of empathy, caring or ability to help me that I told him to have a good day and that I would need to get off the phone before I regretted saying something.
I have worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and when Landry told me that the buck stopped with him and that there was nothing he would/could do, I lost respect and faith in the interaction. From the very beginning this has been an absolute mess. The day I ordered the car they overcharged me by 758 dollars. An “advocate” called me to tell me they would be refunding this. Almost a month later and I still haven’t seen that money. The car they sold me broke down 5 miles from the “car vending machine” I picked it up at. It’s been sitting at the dealership for over 2 weeks just waiting for them to approve the repairs. Now we are pushed far beyond the 7 day return policy so I’m stuck with the car. There is multiple spots on the car that’s been repainted poorly. Overspray on all of the black plastic. Even some on a window. Also found a spot where Bondo was added the body. According to Carvana the overspray is “within their guidelines”. Wow. What kind of company has an acceptable level of overspray? NONE of the issues with the paint were noted on the “imperfections” list. They will toss you around and around to put off fixing anything.
It’s looking more and more like I will be stuck with an over $6,000 dollar repair bill because they will not approve the dealership to complete the extensive repairs my car needs. Be very very careful if the car you buy has a delivery fee. It is not refundable even if they don’t describe the car correctly. I would lose $1800 if I returned it. Even the brakes on the car were almost totally worn out. What a joke of an operation. I can’t believe they are still in business.

None of these problems appear to affect the safe operation and reliability of the vehicle as of date. I did not hear any knocking, banging, other loud noises, nor did I experience bucking or missing. If I could leave a "0" stars I would. I purchased a car through Carvana and that didn't go very smoothly but I did get the car. For that car, they advertised it as "hands free calling" and it was not. I complained and they sent me 100$ to upgrade to handsfree calling which obviously was not enough to convert my sound system to handsfree...it cost me 300$ for system and install. That was disappointing. They also changed the pickup date of the car without a reason which caused alot of trouble changing the start of insurance date and coordinating the pick up on a day that was not convenient for me. Also disappointing.
THEN, when I wanted to trade-in my car for another recently, I went through the entire purchase/trade-in process only for them to change the pick up day AGAIN contributing to the same difficulty with changing the insurance date and creating trouble coordinating the pick up. They ALSO took out $800 dollars more for my deposit and when I chatted with a representative they "assured" me, that I would receive a refund at the time of car pick up. Eventually, after I protested, the representative drew up new paperwork that documented the $800 refund at time of pick up.
I was very skeptical and suspicious at this point about Carvana's practices and decided to cancel the trade-in/purchase and did so. HOWEVER, Carvana has not refunded the $2790.00 deposit they withdrew from my account 9 days later. I have chatted and spoken with 3 different representatives and each gave me a completely different answer on the time it takes to receive a deposit refund. One said 5-7 business days, one said 1-5 business days and the last said 10-15 business days. Obviously this is HORRIBLE business practice.
It is almost impossible to speak with a live person as well. Clearly the deposit amount is a lot of money and causing some financial stress for me and they say they can't "expedite" the refund. I just think Carvana's business practices are unethical and that representatives just lie. I am a 56 year old nurse practitioner. Now I must wait 10-15 days for a refund of my deposit so I can use it on a different vehicle. Zero transparency throughout the process. It wasn’t until I googled “Carvana delivery delay” that I realized how common my exact situation is. For others it is worse, being held on the line for weeks or even months due to “delivery delays”. Do not waste your time, hopes, or money on this dishonest company. Go to a local dealership.

This is the second car I've bought from Carvana. It's the best way to buy a car to avoid the time-wasting, insulting dealer nonsense you have to go through to buy anywhere else. Carvana's pricing is crystal clear before you start to buy and although the price initially seems a bit higher than what you would pay to a dealer, by the time you get through the dealer required add-ons (who wants door guards for $1500?) Carvana's price is the same or lower. The delivery people are professional and very pleasant. The car arrives on a clean trailer and the car itself is spotless inside and out. Carvana takes care of all the paperwork. I highly recommend buying a car from Carvana.

This process was so easy to order online. The car arrived in pristine condition and clearly was well cared for. We got our vehicle for a great price, as well! Had some issues getting all of our paperwork together for our delivery, but was so easy to call and rearrange delivery schedule online. The process was seamless - will definitely buy from Carvana again!

I purchased a vehicle from Carvana. It stated it had a scratch on the left rear bumper. When it arrived there was damage to the right front corner, left and right rear quarter panels, that happened during shipping. Carvana refuses to repair it, after that said it would be repaired to the quality that it stated on the website. What upsets me the most... they tried to cover up the damage with spray paint.

I have bought and sold 3 cars now with Carvana. My 2022 Tacoma arrived with new damage that occurred during the delivery at some point. Both Carvana and SilverRock put me through a menagerie of long, drawn out phone calls pointing the finger at one another until finally it was decided that the damage was "within standards" and was not going to be addressed. Secondly, the tires that came on the truck were on their last legs. The tire shop I went to clearly expressed that they needed replaced immediately due to safety concerns. I was told to go to said tire shop to get things taken care of by both Carvana and SilverRock just to be denied because even though the tires were in bad shape, they were, again, "within standards." The lack of actual support and ownership were the definition of insanity. I will not be purchasing from Carvana again unless significant changes are made.

Had a very good experience working with people at Carvana! The purchase went smoothly and very pleased with the car we bought. I would highly recommend Carvana to anyone looking for a vehicle at a good price. 5 star all the way!! I want to thank everybody that took part in the purchase, and especially to Tim our delivery man. He was very courteous and prompt on his delivery time. Very happy customer.

I just want to start by saying that I read enough reviews to make myself almost paranoid to attempt a purchase with this company, but as a person who learns from his own experiences good, or bad, I took the plunge. The online process was easy as hell and was great for comparing multiple vehicles within my price range. Filters were great, detailed for searching for what you want, and the site navigation was simple. (Also have an app) I was able to get a price for my trade in that was as fair as my honesty with its description. Filled out 6 forms online and even with my checkered credit was able to get financing. Ordered the car for pickup and had to pay shipping. (Makes sense lol) And... It was late. (It was 4th of July weekend.) I received a call from Julio there, who was really friendly and understanding. He explained my options, and even potential refund if I opted out. (*Gasp)
I stressed for a minute, proceeded with the sale, and scheduled a new date. When I got to the Carvana store in Norfolk I was greeted by a gentleman named Rasheem who was a genuine human being. He seamlessly guided me through every step of the process. Answering questions, giving me adequate time, and all while training a new hire who was also kind. After being there for maybe 30 minutes I was handed keys and was free to go. Next day I went to get my inspection and it failed. I chatted with the ai support and that sucked. After attempting to make a claim online and being frustrated with the navigation and functionality of that area of their site I decided to call. After a hold period of irritation I was able to speak to a person. She was super helpful, gave me all the information I needed about the shop location and what was covered; via text, voice, and email.
I called the shop and they took the car that day. While I was there I asked the employee about his experience with their insurance company? He was very in depth. Explaining how they call and haggle (with any company) and how they come to an agreement. He said that honestly they were the best both to deal with, and that they covered just about everything. I said I also got their extra insurance and he said that's smart, it covers even more, and adds even more time.
While I wait for my car to be fixed I think back over all my experience with dealerships and private sales. Carvana sells used cars. A lot of them. Read reviews, look at the Carfax, scrutinize the pictures. Get as much information as you can. Talk to the people. Attempt a purchase, win, lose. This is life, and buying a used car. So far hiccups and all, I think I am getting from Carvana what I put in, and what the employees associated bring to the table. (Any place of purchase) I would gladly recommend my experience, but everyone will have their own. I am enjoying mine and my car is an awesome used car. Open up to people, sometimes they'll surprise you, company is good. Hopefully this helps.

My trade-in and purchasing experience smooth other than delivery delays close to a week from first appointment. I like the vehicle but it has several things that were not as described. The listing stated that the vehicle has Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. It does not. The vehicle when received is missing a trim panel in the interior of the vehicle that was not disclosed during the transaction. These things put a sour taste on what would have been a positive experience overall otherwise.

This was the most simple way of purchasing and financing a vehicle. I’m truly impressed by how honest and helpful this whole process was. I did everything from my phone. Even the notary was quick and simple. And they delivered ON TIME! I don’t think I’ll ever go to a local car dealership, just to be hustled, ever again. Thanks Carvana!!!

On a Thursday evening after dinner, my husband and I spent about 20 minutes looking for a car. After a few short questions and getting pre-qualified, we were on our way to a car! Tuesday we had the car delivered to our home and were handed keys within minutes. We will never shop for a car another way. One notable thing was the car was not vacuumed but there was still dog hair on the dashboard and you could smell the previous owner had a dog. I wish there had been more care in cleaning the car before delivery. Otherwise, a very good experience!

All around the process of buying from Carvana was simple and seamless. I was disappointed to learn the DAY OF the delivery that the air conditioning doesn't work. I was wondering how that could happen if there was such a "thorough inspection." Was it just sitting for a long time and nobody thought to check? I then had to take it to a local dealer where they confirmed the compressor was faulty and they had to order a new one but it's taking weeks to come in.
I purchased almost a brand new truck with no AC which was kind of a let down. Also the blindspot mirror was broken which wasn't on the website pictures. Also the truck bed had many many scuffs which was not outlined on the website beforehand. Other than those things, everything else was good. I would recommend Carvana but I would tell people to be very cautious of mechanical to cosmetic issues on vehicles when you actually get vehicle. The driver was very nice but I felt like I was rushed and didn't have enough time to really look the car over.

First, let me say that I really do like my car and the delivery guy was awesome. That being said, I purchased my car with the windows all tinted. On the delivery day I was contacted and told that the tint had to be removed in order to pass inspection per NC law. In retrospect, I should have refused the car, but I was in need of transportation quickly. I would love to deal with Carvana again, but, unfortunately, this is unacceptable as I will now have to pay $350 to have the windows done. I gave a 3☆ simply because of the driver and Sasha from customer service, great people!

4. Like the car, but dealing with prompt response from Carvana and insurance is not ideal - poor customer service. Not helpful to have call-center staff overseas for time-sensitive items.
5. Hopeful Carvana stands behind the 100-day warranty and our additional costs to repair items are covered.

Again the 150 point inspection came up short. The coolant overflow tank was empty, the spare tire had only 15 lbs of air and the power steering fluid was low. There are many more paint imperfections than shown/described in the listing. It would be much more honest to say there are many small chips and scratches than to just show two or three. The interior plastics also have scratches not mentioned. It was similar with the other two vehicles I bought from Carvana. I wouldn't buy any car from Carvana with more than 35k miles due to the questionable inspection and description process. I love the truck but it took me days to bring it up to my standards.

The buying experience was great, the delivery experience was not. Every communication told me that I had completed everything. Ten minutes before the car arrived the delivery person called and told me that I needed proof of insurance with the car's VIN. No one mentioned that before. I use a local insurance agent with a small office. I had to leave a message. My car arrived, I didn't have the document they wanted, I watched my car leave. I had the insurance straightened out two hours later. I went to the Carvana website to reschedule the delivery and found that I no longer owned the car. Someone cancelled the purchase and a different customer was in the process of buying it. I was able to call someone very good at their job and cleared it up. It is like there are two companies with different policies. One is trying to sell cars and the other is trying to tick people off.

Fast and easy, but when it goes wrong it goes very wrong. I tried to buy a car. There was problem with my paper work which I discussed with (humans and AI). They claimed to be looking into it. When I called back they said I should cancel my order and said that everything should be fine within moments. Instead, thousands of dollars were taken out of my account. They then said it would take 10 to 15 days to refund my money. 10 to 15 days is ridiculous! I don't have that kind of money to play with. Also, their AI bots will text you and not identify themselves as bots, making it very confusing and often providing unhelpful and contradictory information. Some of the humans I spoke to also were often confused.

This was by far the easiest and quickest I have ever purchased a vehicle. Once I decided on the truck, the entire process of filling out information and submitting documents (not counting the time I had to wait for my insurance to give me what I needed) took less than an hour combined. The only reason I would ever not use Carvana again is if I couldn’t find the vehicle I want which is highly doubtful considering vehicles from across the nation are available.

We purchased two 2017 Jeep wranglers from Carvana in the last month. The first one had the check engine light on after the 7 day return policy ran out. Now we have to try and figure out getting that checked put. The other issue is a bait and switch play. We purchased the second 2017 Jeep wrangler as show in the pictures with custom rims and tires. When the Jeep showed up we accepted it based on customer service talking me they would make it right. Now we are being pushed off probably until we are out of the 7 days return policy.
We were told that the rims and tires were damaged during delivery. No one called to let us know that, they just delivered the jeep that way. Delivery driver told us that the Jeep was picked up that way. We were offered 500 dollars for a missing set of rims and tires that run around 2500 before the custom paint. The second carvana bait and switch issue is the listing states that the jeep has leather interior. The jeep has no leather interior. I believe that the price of this vehicle is overinflated based on the opinions listed on the website. The transfer case skid plate is missing as well.

I am utterly disappointed and deeply concerned about my experience with Carvana after purchasing a vehicle that has put my life and the life of my newborn child at risk. The car I bought from Carvana had less than 40,000 miles on it, and yet it has repeatedly stalled on the highway, creating near-fatal situations for me and my child. Despite my attempts to rectify the situation by seeking help from the dealership, the issues persist, leaving me in constant fear while driving this unsafe vehicle. When reaching out to Carvana customer service, I was met with indifference and incompetence. The representatives gave me the runaround and offered a measly $1,500 off my next purchase, completely disregarding the severity of the safety concerns I raised.
It is appalling that a company like Carvana would sell a faulty vehicle and then fail to take responsibility for the life-threatening consequences it has caused. The lack of concern for customer safety and well-being is alarming and unacceptable. I implore anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Carvana to think twice and avoid the potential dangers that come with their irresponsible business practices. If I could give zero stars I would. This has put me in awful situations that I don’t wish on anyone.
