Overall the entire process of purchasing vehicle is positive. The shipping fee was very confusing though. My specific criteria for doing a purchase through Carvana was to get a vehicle with no shipping fee. The main page for the vehicle I purchased said no shipping fee. When I was well into the purchase process a delivery fee charge of 490.00 dollars was applied. I was under the impression to avoid the shipping/delivery fee I would have to pick it up in Louisville KY. I assuming the shipping fee was from Louisville to Indianapolis and delivery fee was from Indianapolis to my house. If I had known I could pick it up in Indianapolis and avoid delivery fee I would have done that.
I feel that this very confusing and deceptive. And if I wanted to be deceived I just would have Bought from a dealership. Other than that though the car came as described on site. The buying process was relatively easy. Licensing and registration was very nice and received title in a timely manner. Very Happy with the Vehicle. (could not find order number in my documentation)

Three cars, two of which are paid off and you still charge more than 16 percent. I don’t think they’ll be a 5th. You want 50 words? Here it is, your bank used for financing, charges way too much and for that reason, I probably won’t be buying another car.

Avoid this dealer. Wanted $1390.00 for NON-refundable shipping. Found the vehicle location, wanted to fly out to location to pick up to avoid shipping cost so I logged in and changed my location for pick up for the city it was in. Still a 1390 charge for delivery but if I log out it's free shipping for that location as you can see in pictures provided.

Buying the car was simple. However, we were told it passed the 150 point inspection. We took it in due to loud tire noise. Come to find out serpentine belt and AC belt are bad and need replaced. And worse, there's a coolant leak and entire coolant system needs replaced. Check engine light didn't come on. Come to find out, someone turned it off. Whether that was Carvana or the rental company that had it originally that turned it off, we don't know. So, now we have to shell out $700 that we don't have for repairs.

If you do not get financed thru Carvana, they don't help much. When I found out my original loan wouldn't approve a car thru Carvana, I changed my financing. That was pretty easy process. Getting the vehicle was not as easy. I was setup for delivery and it was cancelled both times. The 2nd time I didn't know until I was in the delivery window. Customer Service people are difficult to understand & one hung up on me. Once car arrived, the delivery people were great. Carvana needs work on customer service and ability to change from delivery to pickup.

Everything was amazing. The process was very simple and the delivery was perfect. The only complaint I have was the car was not cleaned properly. Now I have to spend money having it cleaned. I love my car and would recommend Carvana to my friends. Thanks for all the help.

We wanted to trade my wife's coupe that she purchased before we were married for a mid-size SUV that would provide more room for car seats and strollers. We both work busy schedules and have a baby at home, so Carvana seemed like a good solution that would minimally disrupt our lives. We picked a car, submitted our documents, and set the appointment for dropoff of the new SUV and pickup of the trade-in at our home on Tuesday afternoon. On Monday night, it occurred to me that it might be a problem that the trade-in was only in my wife's name while only my name was on the purchase, so I called a Carvana rep to ask if that was okay and he told me it was fine as long as we were both present for the appointment with valid ID.
An hour before the appointment, after we had both cleared our schedules, I got a call from another Carvana rep saying the documents we submitted wouldn't work; the name on the trade-in has to be on the purchase. There was no way to reorder the vehicle and keep our appointment. The rep suggested I wait until the vehicle was relisted on Carvana's website and go through the purchase again, this time adding my wife as a co-signer. Wednesday night the vehicle was relisted and we followed the instructions, adding my wife as co-signer and scheduling an appointment for Thursday afternoon. We also had to have my wife's car re-appraised, and this time they offered $200 less for it. We were soon notified that several of our documents that had been approved for the sale on Tuesday needed to be changed for the sale on Thursday.
As far as I could tell, this wasn't a legal or corporate requirement, but rather the preference of the agent who reviewed the documents, but it was easier to comply than to argue, so we made several calls and got updated documents in the format the Carvana agent preferred, which also somehow dropped the value of my wife's car again.
After the corrected documents were uploaded, we were contacted again to say the sale couldn't go through because my wife couldn't be the co-signer, she'd have to be the primary purchaser to submit a trade. I was told not to worry, these details could be changed on the day of sale and we could keep our appointment. I expressed doubt about this, since only a day earlier I was told the only way to edit purchaser details was to cancel the order, but this third Carvana rep assured me that's not the case. Cut to canceling the order Thursday morning.
Every human being I have spoken to from Carvana has misinformed me and wasted my time. So did the AI bot, Sebastian. I spent four days trying to buy a car and got nowhere, and somehow in that time my wife's car depreciated $600 without being driven. If you're looking for a convenient, time-saving way to purchase a car, you'll have better luck at a local dealership.

We are repeat customers of Carvana and it was an overall good experience. Except for delivery. It was difficult. The insurance binder was good enough and then another issue so we ended up buying a car and having to wait up to 2 weeks before it was delivered and which was rescheduled. The delivery was stalled. Never was given a clear explanation but we have the Edge and it’s beautiful.

It went good, but it was raining that day they delivered the car. I was examining car and did not see a scratch at the very bottom of the paint under the driver's door. That was not supposed to be there, very unhappy with that. But other than that, it was a good experience. It's very easy to purchase. A lot better than going to a lock. Everything was done over computer.

Compared to my first time using Carvana it was 1000% better, luckily I decided to give it another chance. Would I recommend it? I'm more likely to than before but can't say it was the best way to buy a car, since the first time was so bad. First time car came at 10pm and I had to walk 1 mile to get it, plus someone lost the initial paperwork, took 3 temp tags before the plates came in, and right after the warranty period had a car door break and the door was unusable.

Picked up my 2022 Tesla Model S & before leaving the lot noticed the right mirror assembly was completely broken (swinging forward/backward). Salesperson gave me a warranty card. Email bounced when the estimate was submitted. Took the car home & had to replace tires as there were multiple damaged areas in sidewall. Incredibly disappointing experience. Avoid Carvana

The Carvana experience was a great experience for me in the beginning, it was fast easy and I loved it and had recommended them to several friends to make a purchase. But after two years and learning they have no grace period and all of the payments I’ve made didn’t reflect In the total of the vehicle or how I had to fork out so much money towards maintaining the vehicle with issues I was never made aware of and was not listed. I’d say I would note for all buyers to beware and to purchase at your own risk. I have made $14000 in payments and only $4000 has come off my purchase price. I called them to inquire why and learned about the interest you occur daily. With this being said people pay attention to your balances.

The wait time ridiculous. 30 minutes after our apt. time. Trade in seamless. The car we picked up not clean at all. Lipstick on a pig. Also second key inoperative, new ordered but still awaiting any further info on that from Carvana. We took the car in to be inspected at our local BMW dealer. Oil seal leaking, because of improper installation!? Took car to a professional auto detailer. Looks a million times better. But car should have been received in this condition! The interior still has a funk smell, installing a new air filter to hopefully help. You should be disgusted and embarrassed to had a car over in this condition. Completely misrepresented. Not happy with Carvana at all. Like the car better now.

Overall my experience has been great. The customer service has been outstanding!! The process is smooth, simple and efficient. However, the vehicle I received had more damage than indicated. On the app it noted some minor scuffs/scratches. It was delivered with a significant dent and damage to the front bumper. I was told that I could file a claim and have the issues repaired as they were not described/noted online and may have happened during shipping/delivery. So far the warranty/insurance partner, Silver Rock, has denied one and appears to be doing what they can to deny the others. I caution others that the online listing info is not accurate as it relates to damage of the vehicle.

I knew I wanted a Nissan Leaf and was looking online at dealers when I decided to take a look at Carvana. Within one week I have the exact car I was looking for delivered to my front door! Got a great price on it too, much less than the prices I was seeing at dealers. I can't recommend Carvana enough. I'll never buy a used car any other way.

Terrible experience, first I scheduled an early morning delivery (because I work nights) then got a message the delivery was delayed for a week and they automatically scheduled it for the evening, the only way to get the car was to travel over 100 miles, so it cost me the "delivery fee" plus an additional $150 to get to the dealer. Then there was the complete laziness of their staff, the car (yes still a week late, so they had time to clean it) had a large scratch on the side mirror, a large rip in the interior and modifications which were not disclosed. When I contacted Carvana they said "SilverRock is committed to getting you back on the road quickly."
Great, but now I'm paying an extra $100 deposit for each issue that Carvana would have repaired if they gave a dang about their customer. So now the "connivance" is costing me another $400 and even worse. To fix the rip. Their email said "You can find a list of recommended facilities at **. Select "Body shop" great, I looked it up and there is no repair shop within 100 miles which is the max. I am very disappointed in Carvana and the experience, never again, give the good old pushing and stressful dealer, it’s so much easier and they take care of their careless and undedicated employees, unlike Carvana.

Amazing experience, I work a lot and the process was insanely easy. I did everything online and picked a day and time that worked. The pickup process was literally a few initials and signatures and a quick walk around the vehicle and done in 5 minutes. I highly recommend anybody to try Carvana!!!!

Every thing went well except you did not have a relationship with my bank and it was delayed because of that. When I called some of your people had a little bit of attitude even though I had a check in hand to pay. It almost felt like it was my fault I was doing business with my own bank and not financing with you. You might want to listen to my calls and see for yourself if over all the transactions went well once all your boxes were complete. The pick up location staff was great and went seamlessly.

I was not 100% impressed. When the car was being delivered, the guy didn't even have a pen for me to sign the paperwork. That threw me off right there. After he had left, I had noticed a ton of marks all over the outside of the vehicle that weren't in any of the listed pictures. After sending pictures and reaching out, no response. After driving the car 100 miles, the oil maintenance light came on. When reaching out, they assured me the maintenance SHOULD have been done before delivery but couldn't show proof it happened. The car wasn't detailed at all. I found personal items between the seats and had to clean the car myself. For paying more than $20,000 for a car, I expected more than what was given. Yes the process was easy and fast but could've been a heck of a lot better than it was.

Bought a 2021 Audi A4, listed as having remote start and navigation. I received the car and it has neither of those features. I was offered a $100 reimbursement or I could return the car and lose my $700 shipping payment. I escalated the call to a manager, and never received a call back. Text and chat attempts are dead ends. I should receive money off the car for not having listed features.

The online part of buying our car was smooth and efficient, it’s when we went to pick it up that things fell apart. Our lender sent the check directly to the pickup location instead of their headquarters, which is the fault of the lender. A Carvana staff member signed for the check and overnighted it to their headquarters. Meanwhile, we scheduled our appointment to pick up the car. When we got to the location, they asked us for the check which had been sent to HQ. This started a days long maddening process of trying to locate the check at Carvana.
No one at the location knew that the check came there and was sent on to HQ. No one at Carvana got on the phone with HQ, instead they had us call from inside their location. No one at HQ could tell us who signed for the check at the location either, they actually said they had no way of knowing who worked at that location(!!!) So, we left our appointment without our car. It took days and many text conversations and phone calls to learn that the check was actually at HQ when we went to pick up the car, it just hadn’t been verified in the system.
This is the most maddening part of the whole deal. There are numerous disconnects in the Carvana system. Carvana will let you schedule an appointment to pick up your car without having verified your payment. BE AWARE of this and confirm your check is in the system before going to get your car. When we finally rescheduled for A WEEK LATER, after we returned our rental (previous car was totaled) and were then running around 3 kids and 2 jobs with one car because of Carvana’s incompetence, they asked for the check again. We had to call HQ (again, their staff couldn’t do this, they just gave us the phone number) and go through another lengthy interaction to verify payment. Eventually, the team there accepted the person on the phone from HQ’s word and we got our car. It was a terrible experience and one that we won’t have again because we are one and one with Carvana.
Another item to beware of is that these cars do not come with a state inspection and emission testing. We had to take our car in for that and there were a couple hundred dollars’ worth of fixes (like a bad windshield wiper) that should have already been fixed on a new to you car. Something to keep in mind around this is the staff person who processed our pickup said we should do the inspection after the 7-day return period to make sure you want the car. When you think about it, that is a pretty dishonest suggestion. I wanted to know what might be wrong with this car before deciding to keep it- especially after the awful experience we had up until that point. I would recommend you do the same or better yet, avoid Carvana entirely.

It took me a few months to find the car exactly like I wanted. But I was being super picky year model mileage, trim level. It was easy to search for exactly what I wanted. I did get notifications for other things, but I just waited. I used my current car as a trade-in. I was surprised at how good my first offer was, but by the time I found the car I wanted to try again for the offer was even better. The people at the pick up location were great. Absolutely no hiccups. This will definitely be the way I buy cars in the future, I did contact a local dealership to see a car and then found out they didn’t even have it on the lot. They would have to get it. I did do a lot of research both on Carvana, the model I wanted, and reviews from other people who use this method of purchase.

I was sold a car that had bald tires …all four. How could that be if you represent such a through inspection. I had to file a claim pay a deductible all in the first two weeks of ownership. They did eventually honor my claim for tires. It did take away from my enjoyment of driving my new car. I had to park and drive it sparingly for fear of having an accident. This issue coincides with the massive storm that came through Atlanta the worst time for bad tires. So very unhappy with the overall experience. Don’t think I will be a Carvana customer again.

Great out of the gate, very disappointing finish. Dirty car, paint on the wheels and wheel well liners, scraped windshield from passenger side to driver from passenger side wiper arm. Different brand wheels. New up front cause the old ones we probably full of paint. All noted after acceptance of the vehicle. Small detail but worth mentioning. Windshield washer fluid reservoir filled with water. I know the vehicle sat for a very long time. Moss growing in the crevices. You advertised blind spot assistance. Does not have that feature. It has LaneWatch. Very different. The delivery driver made excuses for the cleaners stating they had been there just a few weeks. A few weeks and you can’t clean a car!!?? Let’s get positive and why I’m so disappointed.
Great car! Awesome power. Love the 3.5. Handling is fantastic. Clean engine. Clean interior. Like new. Very very disappointed but there is no way I would consider keeping the vehicle. I spoke with 3 customer service folks and not one time was any offer made to make it right. Your signature Carvana, is the delivery and you failed miserably. This car should have never been put up for sale. Rest assure I will give fair warning to any friends, family or colleagues to take caution when purchasing from you. Once again, very sad given the accolades you’ve received over the years. Not one offer to make it right. Sad.

Nearly every part of the process was flawed. It started when someone else was allowed to start a purchase even though my purchase was under way. Happily enough, the other buyer dropped out (no thanks to Carvana) so I was able to proceed. When it came time to pick up the Jeep, I was notified by email just a couple of hours before the appointment that the delivery would be delayed for a week due to a mechanical issue that popped up (even though they had five days to notice it). Eventually the next pick up appointment rolled around. When I got to the location, the vehicle was dirty and missing several items that it originally came with.
A few days after taking possession, I was examining every possible part of the car and noticed that it had the wrong oil filter installed. When I removed the filter, it was damaged internally and several of the pieces (check valve, etc.) were missing. My guess is that they are in the oil pan of my Jeep. All in all, it was a lousy purchase experience. I love the Wrangler but the Carvana experience was one that I would not recommend.

Noticed undisclosed issues with F150 at time of pickup. Carvana agent took pictures and promised they would be addressed after purchase. After 2 weeks of going in circles with Carvana and their warranty company Silver Rock, none of the 4 issues that were documented were addressed. We wasted 2 weeks of our lives, multiple days of the truck in the shop, and countless hours on the phone getting lied to by 2 companies who had no intention of doing the right thing or even compromising. We are stuck with a vehicle that will require several thousand dollars of work just to match what the Carvana listing claimed and what we were promised.

Received a vehicle that needed maintenance done soon as I received it and they sent me over to Silver rock who only paid for one of the services needed. Now I have to come out of pocket $300 for a Brake flush to get the service light off my car.

1)The floor mats that were in the photos were not in the vehicle at the time of delivery. The rep apologized and ordered them to be delivered to me. 2) The vehicle was delivered after dark 7:45pm, and I did not see the nail sticking out of the sidewall until the following morning. I was told by the rep, that it was not covered by their warranty. AFTER I told them to come & get the vehicle and take it back, they decided to replace the tire at no cost to me.

Very simple to pick out and purchase the vehicle I wanted. A lot of choices and had to contact Carvana a couple times during the purchase with questions and was very happy with the responses. Great way to purchase a vehicle. Only concerns are the vehicle was not in Carvana’s inventory and took a week to get and only came with one key which cost me $500.00 to get a key from the dealer and get it programmed even though my trade had to have both keys.

I loved that once I was pre-approved, I could see the actual car payment on each car I was looking at and could choose a car that fit my budget. No salesperson to deal with, no sitting at a dealership for hours, completed everything from the comfort of my own home, on my own time. I probably won't buy or sell a car any other way moving forward. I've told a few people looking for vehicles about how easy this was.

Everything went smoothly and I'm very happy with the Jeep. I'll recommend Caravana to all my friends and family. Delivery driver was very nice and helpful. The individual that stayed on the phone with me all the way till I had uploaded all proper documents and he got a approval, Then he explained the process of delivery and what I should expect. I had a quite frustrating experience with Carvana. I purchased an SUV, the car had a very heavy smoke smell and also a major dent which wasn't mentioned as an imperfection. The detailing is part of the 150 point inspection and they claim the car passed the odor test (#147). So this wasn't the case at all, anyone with a nose could feel the heavy smoke smell. During return the advocates also found the smoke smell heavy, admitted the issues and apologized. They approved my return and refunded the down payment. BUT the main frustration started after that. It has been almost 2 weeks and they still haven't returned the check to my bank (lienholder).
During my calls I keep getting conflicting answers and they say the check has not reached to the "treasury" department yet. They can't give the information about where the check is. They just told me there is nothing I can do besides just waiting for the check to arrive "treasury". I am being charged interest by my bank for everyday they hold the check and also not able to buy another car which really impacts my daily life. There is no way to track the status of the refund on the system and your purchase disappears like it never happened.
The worse thing is after I returned the car they just put it in the system back without any mention of the odor or the major dent, so another customer will face the same issue. I think this is quite unethical. Normally I dislike the dealerships and that's why I wanted to try online purchase with Carvana; but Carvana experience has been much much worse. Only pros is the buying process, it was quite smooth and they delivered the car on time.

I bought a car on Carvana and paid cash. Until 1.5 hours before delivery I received confirmations that everything was fine and the car would be delivered at the agreed upon day and time. I suddenly received a phone call informing me that there was something wrong with the paperwork, of which it was claimed that only became clear at the last possible moment while they had had a full week to get this done. I decided to cancel my order as I needed a car, and I had found an alternative at a dealership close by. However, Carvana had already taken 27K out of my bank account and needed 10 to 15 business days to refund. Meaning that I could not pay for any car during that time, and Carvana does (of course) not reimburse any costs associated with their mistakes.
I should have known better: I tried to buy a car at Carvana a while ago, and that delivery was also canceled last minute because in the week leading up to the delivery they had failed to notice that the door rubbers were goners. Carvana: it sounds like a wonderful concept, yet it obviously does not work. I will not try a third time. Edit: Carvana managed to pay my money back in two days. Apparently the 10 to 15 days only applies if you are willing to sit and wait.

I can’t say enough good things about the Carvana process. It was super easy to find a car I wanted… and then being able to put in exact numbers to get an estimated monthly payment was very nice! I think the whole process took less than an half an hour - which is about two and a half hours less than sitting in a dealership. Plus the price is the price is the price.
Also, I LOVE the fact that Carvana handled pretty much every single piece of paperwork… especially with the registration and license plates! The delivery was fun and exciting - and very satisfying to see my trade-in loaded up and taken away. So freaking easy! I was turned onto Carvana by two friends, who raved about the process. I will never go to a dealer again. And am telling all my friends about it.

Everything from getting a trade-in offer to car selection and purchasing process was so efficient and pleasant. This is why I will never go back to traditional dealers. The paperwork process makes all the difference! Even though technically the "active" part might've taken the same amount of time as traditional in-person dealing, but because you don't have to wait and just do it on your spare time, it feels so much quicker. Carvana also is very transparent in listing the condition of the car and never tries to strip the extras from the cars (unlike others such as AutoNation). I've bought 3 cars from Carvana and each one has no issues (unlike the lemon I got from AutoNation).

I was all set to buy a car at a physical dealership, and the one I wanted was sold 2 hours before my appointment (my fault, I know, for not putting down a deposit). I just didn't have it in me to go looking again, so I tried Carvana. I know two other people who bought from them and had a good experience, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. The prices are reasonable and the whole experience was very easy. I'll never buy another car off the lot again! If you're having doubts, DON'T. Just do it, you'll be glad you did. I LOVE MY NEW CAR!

We purchased a new Jeep Wrangler and the purchasing process was so easy. I had the vehicle purchased in about 20 mins. The Carvana crew made the process very clear and very simple. The delivery driver was very courteous and professional and their 7 day trial is completely unheard of and left me with a very confident feeling. Everything up until receiving the car was great. But an hour before picking up my car the first time appointment was cancelled. No one on the phone could tell me why time was rescheduled. I went to location and they were very helpful with explaining the title was sent to wrong location. I did see car that day and it looked perfect. Fast forward to 5 days later I go to pick up car and it comes out with a deep scratch in the driver side door and on passenger side back door. These were not on the car when I saw it 5 days prior. I told Mike at the Bridgeville location who was working with me that day and he took pictures of those marks and told me that their repair company would be contacting me in a few days and if I didn’t hear anything to give them a call. So 3 days later I called Silver Rock and they told me they didn’t see a claim and to check back in a few days later Monday I called silver rock silver rock and they still don’t have it.
I call Carvana and they walk me thru how to submit a claim, which I thought was already done by Mike on delivery. So I follow their instructions and submit claim. Well now today I get an email saying that this is within acceptable levels and they won’t repair it. This car has a few imperfections noted on the site when I bought it. I saw car 5 days before I got it and there was not damage to the doors. So this obviously happened at the location after car was delivered there and before I picked up car. When you spend this much money for a car and know about certain imperfection you can deal with it. But to then have damage happen days before I pick it up and it not being covered is crazy. I was so excited and I even was telling people about my experience and how Carvana was going to get the dings fixed. But now I can’t recommend as I feel like I got bait and switched. It’s a shame, you have a great process and this all would have been fine if Carvana was going to do what Mike told me on the day I picked up the car.

This has been the worst experience of my life. After continuously, canceling my pick up date hours before pick up they finally had to cancel the purchase. Then we picked a different car and face the same challenges. They claim it’s because Pennsylvania laws, but they have multiple pick up locations in Philadelphia, I had to threaten to call the police because they wouldn’t let me leave with my trade-in or the new car because their title work wasn’t complete hours. They held me hostage, making me sign and re-sign new paperwork over and over and over again. Worst experience ever. While I was there waiting, one person left without their new car because they were mechanical issues that they discovered on their own. Another couple left because their purchase was supposed to have a sunroof and didn’t. This was an abusive purchasing process.

**WARNING* CARVANA WON’t list all the cosmetic damages and approve any fixes to unexpected cosmetic damages whether it’s significant or not. When I got my car I noticed there were a lot more damages (front bumper misalignment) than what was listed on the app when I was preparing for purchase. The employee said he will make a note and help me fix the issue, but when I called Silverock, I got denied multiple times. I simply bought the car for a good price and minimum damage, and this is just deception. DECEPTION, DECEPTION.

The 2019 GMC Terrain is literally in the shop for the second time in a week and then you have the nerve to ask for a car payment after we have had it for 6 days lol. Never again will I buy from Carvana, ever. I will not recommend Carvana and if we were not in such a pinch I would give the car back to be rid of this company. The car was delivered not serviced with correct fluids or maintenance etc, filthy filters, no brakes that I had to pay out of pocket to pay for. A hot mess. Do better. CarvanaCare has been a disaster and I am considering contacting an attorney so the car can be made right for my son, so that is how it going.

Customer service was great from the moment I filled out the application to picking up the car. The vehicle was clean and ready to go, however, a part did fall off three days after picking it up. That’s a manufacturer issue and not Carvana’s. However, there should be some sort of protection against this type of issue.

Purchased 2023 truck with 18k miles. When arrived tires are almost bald. Even their own delivery driver noted the tires. Carvana and Silverrock refuse to replace tires on a truck I paid over 60k for because the wear is 3/32 and not 2/32. Silverrock tells me take it up with carvana and carvana pushes you off to silverrock. Highly disappointed and horrible. ANY TRUCK with only 18k miles should NOT need tires or be within 1/32 of their usable life!! Will be filing claim against Carvana.

It was easy to find out the value of your trade and know your payment expected from home. Many options to choose from. Pick up and paperwork was easy. However scratches all over the hood of the car was not shown in the pictures on the website. This would have been a deal breaker if I was buying off the lot.

I chose to return to Carvana because of the seamless and hassle-free buying experience I had previously. However, this time, I was disappointed. The car was supposed to be thoroughly detailed and cleaned, but it wasn’t. Additionally, the cabin filter hadn’t been replaced, which added to my frustration. Despite my initial positive experience with Carvana, the lack of attention to detail during this purchase left me unsatisfied. The car's interior, which I expected to be spotless, clearly hadn’t been cleaned as promised. The fact that the cabin filter wasn't replaced shows a disregard for the thorough inspection and preparation I anticipated. Hopefully, Carvana addresses these issues for future customers.

When we first received the vehicle it had a very strong stale cigarette smoke that was bad enough it was causing a headache every time I got in the car. We bought a new cabin filter which helped tremendously after about 48hrs the smell was gone. (The previous filter was wayyy past filthy) We then took it for an inspection and oil change. During the inspection they determined we needed a new serpentine belt, a whole new set of tires, a tune up (even though they are only suggested every 100,000 miles and we were way below that there were issues), and a wheel alignment. All of this work was going to cost us well over $2000. I wish I would have known these things before considering how much we are paying for the car. I definitely would have tried to get a vehicle with zero upfront maintenance.

I was given one keyless entry fob with the car. When I decided I was going to keep the car I had a locksmith come out to make me a second one. It turns out that the emergency key in the fob that Carvana gave me was the wrong key. I called asking to get it fixed and they said "You're out of the 7 day trial period and now it's my issue to take care of...". I call then one day after the 7 days. After spending $28000 with them you would think they would fix that simple issue.

Overall the experience was fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff, delivery was easy and punctual, and I'm very happy with my new car. My delivery person even left me a sunglasses rubber ducky on my dashboard, which bring a smile to me and my family's face whenever we look at it! I only wish I knew ahead of time the exact time limits for each step of the process, and to be prepared with all the documents I would need to upload immediately when purchasing the car. The various time limits for each stage were not clear to me, and my understanding was that I would have a few days to gather things such as proof of insurance.
I ended up waiting on my insurance company to send me the update to my policy and missing the deadline for securing my delivery date because of it. Thankfully, a Carvana rep called and graciously held my spot as he helped me sort everything out, but it was a considerable amount of frantic running around on my end that I wasn't anticipating.
Secondly, state-specific instructions for handling registration and surrendering plates would be helpful. I got what I assume to be a generalized message reminding me to "report to your state motor vehicle department that you’ve sold your vehicle, to cancel your registration, and to complete a liability release form." The MVC (in New Jersey) was thoroughly confused by this, told me such a form does not exist, and none of these steps were necessary besides surrendering my plates. Aside from these communication issues, I was very pleased with the experience.

The transaction went quick and easy. My error was assuming that Carvana would supply all the "keys" to the vehicle. Carvana did not do their job in getting the door keypad code from the previous owner. I consider this a vehicle access "key". I was told to contact a Ford dealer to get the code. I received estimates from $110 to $250. Carvana was not willing to reimburse that charge. Second, the title had to be completed in my name only. They would not allow my wife's name to be added as a co-owner even though she was a co-signer on the loan. For both issues the Carvana reps I contacted were very courteous and apologetic but completely unhelpful.

However, I had to have my car checked 3 times for a steering issue that should have never passed Carvana's highly promoted 150-point inspection. If a customer brings up an issue the immediate next day after buying a car, I would have expected Carvana to resolve it for me, not have me spend close to 10 hours between services.

WARNING REVIEW!!: IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Carvana changed my down payment after all fees and the full down payment had already been processed, and the purchase of my car was officially completed. I received confirmation of my purchase, only to later receive multiple emails stating that I owed an additional $2,300 toward the down payment, or the vehicle would be repossessed. I contacted the Payment Resolution team, but they were of no help. Initially, they tried to work with me, but ultimately stood firm on the fact that I had to pay the $2,300—despite the sales representative's failure to properly document my original $1,390 down payment in the system. My down payment of $1,390, plus an additional $100 payment (totaling $1,490), was taken from my account, and I received a "congratulations" email confirming my purchase.
After weeks of back-and-forth communication with the Payment Resolution team, one honest representative finally apologized for this major, life-altering mistake and advised me to hide my vehicle until I could come up with the $2,300. This should not have been the only solution offered, as Carvana clearly made a massive error. Not only have they taken my money for this car, but they are also threatening to damage my credit by placing a repossession on it. This is blatantly illegal and terrible business practice on Carvana’s part.
To hold the consumer responsible for Carvana's error—especially regarding a significant purchase like a vehicle—is outrageous. I am writing this post to warn other consumers who are considering purchasing a car from them. I am one of many who have experienced this issue, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone, especially those who rely on their vehicle as their only means of transportation. Please be cautious and avoid the emotional, mental, and physical damage this has caused me. I'M OUT OF MONEY, I CAN'T GET ANOTHER CAR, PAID THE INSURANCE FOR THIS VEHICLE AND MORE.

I bought my last car through Carvana so when I wanted to trade it in this was the 1st place I came. It was a little harder this time around because I had a trade in and the system kept kicking the paperwork out and saying I missed my deadline. So I had to call to find out the lender for the trade in was not in your system. It took about 5 days for you to get my lender in your system and in that time it cancelled the order 3 times and I had to keep calling. It was very frustrating and I almost cancelled the order. I wish Carvana had been the one to call ME when the issue with the lender not in your system happened. But I had to call multiple times as the order kept expiring before your team got the lender in the system. Once the lender got added it was a very easy transaction but it was frustrating the order kept expiring as “you missed your deadline” when it wasn’t me that missed anything.

I ordered a 19 Acadia and it showed up with a bad transmission. They sent me to Silver Rock for repairs. Silver Rock gave me the run around, sending me to shops that don’t typically service transmissions. Shops said transmission is bad and they wouldn’t accept the diagnosis since the shop wouldn’t actually replace the transmission. Soooo. Car #2 was ordered and showed up with a piece of spring sticking out of the front tire! They told me they could fix it but it would take 4 days, or I could order another car. I opted for fixing the tire myself because of the non-refundable shipping cost of $1600 something.
The car sounded like a big truck with mufflers going down the road. Turns out it has bad linkage in the rear and the tires were cupped and wearing badly. Also 3 of the 4 tires had objects and patches in them! Clean up your storage yard Carvana!!!! Silver Rock will not pay for 4 tire even though it’s an all wheel drive vehicle. They will only pay for 3 so the 4th is on me! The inspection they say is done is a joke! I first ordered on Aug 15 and as of today September 21st I still do not have a car. It is waiting for parts! Do not buy a car here. I can’t wait until they go out of business! There is no way this is sustainable.

Overall, the experience with Carvana was awesome and much better than buying a car at a dealership. The only complaint we have is that the car didn't have any coolant in it and was low on oil. The cover to the battery was also just lying in the engine compartment. If we hadn't checked under the hood the lack of coolant could have ruined the car.

I purchased the vehicle with the car battery barely charged, tires were also extremely low. 9 days after purchase I had to take it to repair secondary battery. The mechanic found several other faults with the vehicle that the warranty company wouldn't cover. The Warranty company was difficult to work with and needed to be contacted several times by myself and the mechanic to get simple costs covered. Mechanic said he was surprised with the shape of the vehicle only being purchased 2 weeks ago.

However, the downside is that their customer service over the phone wasn’t helpful and argued with the customer, trying to shift the blame. I feel like I’m being punished for a problem they caused. The good stuff first. The app is friendly and easy to use. I purchased a high end vehicle without seeing a salesman, thank God, with the financing and all paperwork done right on the app. My first experience buying a car online only and I was pleased. I will never walk into a dealership again, unless I need a new car. All details for the vehicle was as indicated including the Carfax information and any paint imperfections. The car runs well. Now some improvement concerns. On my delivery day, I received a call from the driver indicating a dash light was on for "park assist", do you still want the vehicle and we can fix it at the location later. Of course, I said no. I said fix it and then deliver the car.
Well the next available delivery day was next week and now I have to take another day off from work. I asked if I could pick up the vehicle at the Carvana location quicker, they said it will still be a week later as the delivery date provided. I think even if you pick up at their location, they have to change the agreement and they would prefer not to do that. Kind of annoying, cause you want to get into your new ride asap. When the next delivery day came, I inspected the car and noticed the passenger side window was not going down from the driver side. I was able to look on YouTube and fix the issue quick, just needed the window to reset, but what bothered me as to why it was delivered without checking these things. They say they do a 150 point inspection but I don't believe it's done. This is why I gave them a 4.

Both the tech and the customer service persons agreed that my description was accurate but they still wouldn’t take the car. They offered me 5000 Less. This was honestly by far one of the best experiences I have ever had with a car. The only reason that I put three stars instead of five is because the check engine light came on 24 hours within having the vehicle. Now we are having to deal with warranty and car service repair in order to keep the vehicle that we fell in love with the first 24 hours. The whole reason we decided to buy a new vehicle was because of the amount that we were repairing our old ones and to have this one need to be repaired within the first 24 hours was devastating. Fingers crossed the repairs go smoothly and we don't need to worry about it in the future. At least we had the maintenance package which helped.

This is my second Carvana purchase and the first transaction (2022) was much smoother, and the condition of the car matched the description. This time, I was disappointed by the lack of images / disclosure in the listing which led to a major hassle.
Pros: Delivery was timely with good communication from driver.
Cons:1) The purchase listing failed to disclose obvious issues that were actually worse than the images of minor issues that were shared in the listing:
a) Damaged windshield - 3 large rock dings each the size of a quarter (Carvana said they won't replace!),
b) multiple scratches / dings on passenger side worse than the pictures of dings on the driver said that were disclosed in the images (Carvana won't fix).
c) Damage to trim in front right wheel well (Carvana will fix - thank you)
d) Battery had zero life (Carvana will fix - thank you).
2) The process to provide feedback is very confusing with the Carvana website, app, text, emails, phone calls made to Carvana, Silverrock and 3rd party repair company. Further, the website / app does not show a running history of what I submitted to be fixed/replaced. My head was spinning as to what was approved, not approved, or in process for a very narrow 7 day window.
3) Per Carvana, I had to make a decision within 6 days not 7 so not sure how that is calculated. I didn't even have the response from Carvana / Silverrock on what you would agree to fix by the time the 6 days was up.
4) I'm disappointed that the windshield is not covered, since it wasn't disclosed. The response from Carvana was that it isn't warrantied but it came damaged and was not caused by me. I'd ask Carvana/ Silverrock to reconsider and reclassify request.

The car was in great condition. Exactly like the description however Carvana failed to disclose there was a cigarette smoker previous owner and the car reeks of cigarettes. They have offered to pay for a good detailing which helps since I really didn’t want to return the car. But the customer service was great, a text or message away made it super convenient buying a car from the couch!

I purchased a truck and had a great experience. But not the second time. The first jeep had broken lock and hoses hanging under hood with battery leaking acid and tires were changed from all terrain to street tires. I sent it back for different jeep. Me and the driver didn’t notice the badly chipped windshield so they told me they would not fix it because driver didn’t take pictures of it. The driver that did delivery was the only person nice out of the whole experience. I will not refer anyone because I believe when you buy something it should be ready to go like they say how they back up their inspection

I bought my Tiguan from you last Tuesday and noticed in the front there was a bumpy ride. I was wondering what it could be. So I took it to Discount Tire yesterday and found out you sold me a vehicle with two defective front tires. I could have gotten in an accident on the road this weekend and been seriously injured. So I ended up paying $339.41 for two new tires because you sold me a vehicle with defective tires. I sent you an email through the claims and still you guys are not taking responsibility for poor salesmanship. So I would say you get an F on how you treated me. Dealing with an online only auto company is no fun at all. Worse their Sebastian chat is completely worthless. The process demanded that I have proof of insurance on a holiday weekend, no exception, and then re-released the vehicle for sale when it didn't happen! Wanted copies of everything uploaded, and then wanted the hard copies at pickup! However, they could not take an check at pickup so we had to finance the sale which was even more online crap. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. You people either have a lot of work to do, or work on your resume.

Buyer Beware: Car delayed 2-weeks, with a call just before initial delivery. Car delivered with >200 miles more on the car than the purchase time/agreement/statement. Delay was over a long weekend, and it sure feels suspect. Only 1 key with vehicle. Carvana promised to share the mechanical repair report, that caused the 2-week delay.
Report promised by Agent Lauren who was the assigned case manager at the 2-week delay. Mechanical Report was not provided at delivery. Scheduled and confirmed meeting with escalated service team = Carvana Agent did not show up for the meeting. Mechanical report was not provided on the telephonic follow-up. Cash withdrawn immediately at purchase. Return refund is analog and would take months before we ever would get our money back. I will NEVER purchase through Carvana again. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND CARVANA. IF WE HAD NOT BEEN SO EXPOSED/VULNERABLE AT DELIVERY WE WOULD HAVE RETURNED.

I got a call from an advocate and he gave me a bunch of misinformation and he also input an additional payment that got taken from my account that caused me to overdraft. When I spoke to another advocate after that issue he said it would take 5-10 days and that I would get my money faster if I cancelled thru my bank. I called my bank and they cancelled the payment and Carvana cancelled my purchase because of their mistake. I just got my car and its brakes are squeaking and there seems to be a transmission issue. The car also has several more defects than described in the vehicle description. I am completely displeased and have no way to return my vehicle for a different one now.

This has been a nightmare. First vehicle literally broke down hours after receiving. Swapped for another car that was a week with no vehicle. Waited months for plates and had to take off of work to get inspection done and extend temp plates because they couldn't find paperwork! I purchased my car on Feb. 27, 2024, March 24th 2024 the transmission broke. Had to take it to Infiniti of Nashua, only to find out the transmission had been previously replaced. Infiniti called Carvana and the warranty for me, and SilverRock sent a new transmission. That took almost a month to complete (Infiniti gave me a loaner). Got a call, went to get my car, it was the end of May 28th 2024, went to get my car and had to bring it back the next day. Check engine light again.
Infiniti of Nashua puts me in another loaner. Sure enough I get the call saying transmission was defective. 3 more weeks without my car, I get my car, drove fine for about a month, in August 26th car stared driving funny, check engine light on again, took it in and the transmission is not good.... again! I have no warranty now, I'm upside-down in the vehicle. I called carvana and all I got was "That's what happened when you purchased a used vehicle". Sad to see another company who cares less about its customers. The carvana experience is more to me like "The carvana nightmare".

I won't exaggerate with starting off with, "Never buying a car from you guys ever again," so I'll be blunt. The whole buying process was very annoying and took way too long. I had to call multiple times to get the Carvana Team on track or else nothing would happen (Paperwork wise). I understand that most of these cars I'm taking a bit of a risk on buying them and not being able to see them in person, but you guys left of so many "imperfections" out of the car had bought. When I was first looking at it through the website it only showed 2 light imperfections. Car shows up to the house and I almost immediately notice so many more. These are things customers expect to see and not be surprised on the day of delivery.
Another thing is the car had stickers on the windshield from the Order number of the car and what not. So there was glue on the windshield which made it look so nasty. The car barely has been filled up half way with gas. I paid almost 30k and I couldn't even get a full tank? That's a joke, and what is also a joke is the detailing team you guys have. Terrible at cleaning cars. Leaving streaks everywhere. Also didn't even get the original key fobs. It's almost like you guys do everything "professionally" up until delivering the car. I won't be buying another car from you guys.

I took possession of the vehicle and didn’t notice that there were 2 stone chips in the windshield. I called customer service and told them about the issue and they said they would check with the service department and get back with me. The next day I got a text that read “we are sorry to inform you that the windshield will not be fixed because it wasn’t noticed prior to taking possession of the vehicle”. I got the same thing when I called customer service again to try and resolve the issue peacefully. They just don’t care.

Buying CAR was easy, but they will deliver Defective ones. They ask to go with product warranty with SilverRock (another company). CARVANA will not take any responsibility. SilverRock will approve cheap products to replace. Service is worst. My Suggestion is for Buying FIRST car CARVANA is not a best choice, for 2nd car it is an option to book and exchange how many times you want. Working with SilverRock mean you have to plan Morning 8AM to evening 5PM to wait at Servicecenter, SilverRock will not give proper response.

All of the Carvana people I spoke to were very helpful and professional. Unfortunately, Carvana's technology just wasn't as good as their people. Overall, it was better than going to a dealership, but things need to be improved. I had to continually submit an insurance binder and continually the website refused to accept it. Also, the auto bot was beyond dreadful.

My car spent half of my 7 day test drive in the shop because the radio didn't work. It got replaced but the back up camera is having issues and the brake light comes on randomly. Of course this started on day 8 so now I have to see if those are covered under warranty. Hopefully it's nothing serious. For the price everything should be in working order. The rest of the buying process was great.

Even though I was assured the car goes through 150 point inspection, I received the car with a 6 year old dead battery, frayed serpentine belts, and dirty transmission fluid that needed replaced. None of it was covered with silver rock. Prior to this, I was very pleased with the delivery and communication process. The man who delivered was excellent.

My experience with Carvana has been nothing short of a nightmare. What was advertised as a “hassle-free” car-buying experience has become a long, drawn-out ordeal filled with lies, misleading information, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
False Promises and Misleading Information. Carvana assured me that they would deliver the car to Illinois and register it in Georgia (my home state). After finalizing the purchase, they suddenly claimed they could not register the vehicle in Georgia due to supposed “state restrictions.” This was a blatant lie—I personally confirmed with the Illinois Secretary of State that no such legal restrictions exist. Carvana was simply unwilling to complete the paperwork, and I was left dealing with their false promises.
Multiple Cancellations and Delays. They initially scheduled the delivery of my vehicle on September 2, 2024, only to cancel it at the last minute without any valid explanation. This wasn’t the first time they rescheduled on a whim. Their lack of accountability has been shocking, as they keep delaying the process, wasting my time, and causing severe inconvenience.
Coercive Tactics. To make matters worse, Carvana gave me an ultimatum—either accept their botched terms and pick up the vehicle in Georgia at my own expense, or they would cancel my order entirely. They left me no reasonable choice, forcing me to make a decision that was completely unfair and inconsistent with their original agreement. I’ve incurred unnecessary travel costs and still have no resolution in sight.
Financial Impact. To top it off, I’ve had to pay upfront insurance costs and my first month’s insurance premium for a vehicle that hasn’t even been delivered yet. Carvana has offered me a measly $250 for all the hassle and financial strain they’ve caused, which is an insult considering the numerous issues I’ve faced with them. Their refusal to provide adequate compensation for the stress and inconvenience is unacceptable.
Overall Experience. Carvana has completely failed to live up to its promises, using deceptive practices, coercive tactics, and making every step of the process a nightmare. This company doesn’t care about its customers or their satisfaction. They simply want to take your money and then abandon you when things go wrong. Avoid Carvana at all costs—they are nothing but false promises and poor customer service.

I'll never walk into a dealership again. Docusign all the paperwork. When it's delivered it probably takes 15 minutes to complete. Such a time saver.

The buying process was pretty good. I did have an issue where the information was not 100% accurate when I put the pre order in. It said I should have a sun roof but when the car came it did not. This was minor issue though everything else in the buying process was good. However I did have an issue where the car had a flat when I got it. Carvana told me to contact silver rock but silverrock said I didn't have the car long enough to be in the system. So I was stranded. Then they told me to pay for tow and wheel replacement and I could submit for reimbursement however that process has not been easy to get all the documents and get it submitted and I am still waiting to hear back from them. If it wasn't for that I would have said 5 stars.

Overall an easy car buying process, the delivery was great but wish the guy who dropped it off would have went over the vehicle with me. After he left I found that the back passenger windows had really bad scratches on them. I called and they said nothing could be done about it. Other than that the car was in really good shape. I do believe they could do a better job cleaning and detailing the vehicle, it was still dirty on the inside and it wasn’t as clean as a car would be when buying it from a dealership. Overall not a bad car buying experience. Just wish they would pay more attention to detail and I’m really disappointed in the windows which wasn’t mentioned in the description on the website. Wish they cared after the fact about your purchase and took care of the customer but once you have the car it’s not their problem anymore.

Car arrived a week later than promised. ‘Imperfections’ did not match the listing. Car did not have a specific feature that was in the listing (HUD). The rear license plate mount was ruined by putting the wrong screws and stripping out the nuts in the plastic backing plate. Only suggestion was to return vehicle or file warranty claim. This same thing was done to the Lexus I purchased.

I purchased a 2022 Lexus RX350 from this company. The purchase and trade-in process was seamless, but now that I need to return the vehicle, well within the time frame they imposed, it's been a painful process. No one seems to have any information when the pull-out of the car can be scheduled. No one has the contact information of the department which is supposed to make the decision on scheduling. I was told that the purchase document was pulled out of their system and needs to be re-instated which may take up to 14 days. Meanwhile, I can't use the car because they're only giving me 400 miles before they start charging me $1/mile of use and I still need to pay the insurance for the car until it is pulled. What a pain!

Buying a car went smoothly as always. Love that. The car upon arrival was very dirty and filthy on the inside. I had to get a detailer out to clean it. There were food stains all over the interior, smudges all over the windows and it smelled like smoke. The car was also advertised with lane assist as I bought this for my son and it turns out the car lacks this feature.

They are professional and do what they say. I have no complaints about Carvana. I sell cars for a living as a sales advisor. I thought Carvana would be a great experience, but it was by far the worst process I've ever had to go through. Not only was the approval process unnecessarily long. The car came in with a broken AC. Carvana told me I could swap, but on this go around everything needed 5k down even though I just bought a car with 100 down. They do this to prevent swaps. Also the Silverrock warranty is a joke, they sent the car to Firestone that then had to refer it to dealership then I was out of pocket 500 dollars for the repair, waiting on reimbursement. This is day 11 and I still have only drove my car one time.

The imperfections weren’t reported accurately. The 2 worst areas weren’t even reported as imperfections. There are multiple big rock chips over the front bumper of the vehicle that are very obvious to the eye. There were multiple scratches all over the trunk area from luggage I am assuming. Again, not reported in the description. Also a chipped windshield that we were told nothing could be done about until it spread. Just disappointed in the condition of the vehicle overall but since this is the second Explorer we received we are unwilling to go through the process again. The first Explorer had a chipped windshield as well and air conditioning that was not cold.

Delivery and pick up of my trade it was amazing. Bill the driver walked me through everything and was very helpful. The whole process was complete within 30 minutes. The car was clean, paperwork was very minimal, just a few places to sign and was complete. I had a terrible experience with Carvana's customer service. I was charged a $290 fee before the car was delivered, and I was also required to purchase insurance for a car I didn't even own yet. Additionally, even though I provided my Florida driver's license, I was told that I needed to have a Mississippi license in order to buy the car. As a military member, it's impractical for me to change my license every two years just because of my work location. It would be more transparent if Carvana clearly stated on their website that individuals in the military with a license from a different state cannot purchase a car from them.

When my BMW X1 was delivered, it was in the same condition outside as described. However, when I got into the car it was dirty. The inside was all dusty, and there were numerous areas that had sticky spots and in the backseat on the driver side there was looked like pop drip down the entire backseat. There was also trash found under the driver and passenger seats, the car was also delivered with only a quarter tank of gas whereas when I’ve purchased cars from dealerships in the past, they at least fill your tank up. I was kind of disappointed that the car interior was in this type of condition considering how much I just spent purchasing it.

Although they give 7 days to test drive it, day one had me sold!!! I will definitely shop again with them!!! We had a positive experience overall purchasing through Carvana. Using the website was easy and purchasing & delivering the vehicle all went smoothly. Would recommend over purchasing off a lot and spending hours finalizing everything. The other downside we have is that the vehicle was very dirty inside with sand in trunk and toys, games, etc. all left behind. There was damage to a seat and a crack on windshield that we would have expected to be repaired first. We reached out to Carvana and they explained those are normal wear and tear and are not repaired prior to purchase.

Bad service, Carvana wouldn’t complete any repairs. Brakes are shot, needs rotors. Suspension and steering needs work. Alignment/Balancing. Steering shakes as you drive. Steering vibrates as you brake. Returning vehicle and going to Carmax. Carvana/SilverRock denied all repairs including the battery that’s about to be dead. Not good. Will not recommend anyone.

Too many reps doesn't know what they're doing. Hopefully, you guys have a recorded line of how many times I called due to the same issues. I had to Explain the same stuff over & over. Someone from the Treasure Dept. will call. (Never called), The last rep I spoke to was named Scott. Didn’t know what I was talking about. However, He said He’d take care of the issue & never got a call back from someone. I thought I had the note on my account or the Ticket that Carvana Rep created. If I had a chance to repurchase a car from Carvana, I need to re-think it. I got the car since it was CERTIFIED; I don't know how hard it is to get a simple car wash & clean the interior when delivering the car. According to the inspection report it is supposed to be a PREMIUM DETAIL, in & out. Car wasn't clean at all. I contacted the SilverRock, whom Carvana recommended & got denied. It's a wear & tear issue.
* Front Bumper had the big scratches at the time of the delivery, which not showing in the picture.
* Tesla only had a 22% battery at the delivery time. On the car windshield showed 8/24 55%. I had to rush to the SuperCharge station to charge the battery.
Is this really a “Certified” Vehicle? I think it’s the same qualtiy as the first car I purchased. “Non Certified”.

Caravan offered me a fair deal that I accepted except the payoff amount on my loan was a bit high as I checked with my credit union. I went in to correct the error and resubmitted my trade. The new offer dropped by $2400. The payoff difference was only $176. They said they could not recover the original offer. I complained and they escalated to an advocate that said they would honor the original offer. Waited... Waited... and no update. They then changed their collective minds and said "no' can't change the lowball offer. Then charged and kept the $690 shipping charge. You can't believe what they tell you!!! Do not trust these unscrupulous "advocates."

Car was delivered with marginal brakes and tires. As these are "wear" items, SilverRock would do nothing. I don't expect new brakes and tires on a used car, but I won't tolerate a used car needing replacements immediately. I like the car and would keep it if Carvana issued a partial refund, but I am returning it.

The day of delivery the driver was very informative and helped guide me through the process. I did have a crack in the windshield but that was taken care of within a week at no cost to me. I bought a car and checked for the disclosed damage. No mention of windshield damage. During delivery I got a call to tell me the windshield was chipped and they would replace as it was not mentioned in vehicle listing. They waited until after the 7 day period and refused to replace it. They also delivered the car without any coolant. I had a great 5 year experience with Carmax and highly recommend them instead of Carvana, who seemingly could care less.

Car was delivered a week late. Previous owner rattle caned/spray painted entire front bumper/air dam. DIY repair. Bumper needs to be sanded, repainted, and clear coated. Will have to pay for repairs out of pocket. Front of car looks bad and is very noticeable. Silver Rock said, "Sorry for you." Damage is hard to see in pictures but stands out in person.

Do not buy a car from Carvana. My husband and I made a mistake buying a car from this place, trusting them that they will give us a decent car but that wasn’t the case!!! I bought a 2016 BMW i3 with them and when I drove it off the lot, the AC was blowing hot air. Carvana fixed it for us but then when I brought it home after three days later of it being at the mechanic, I fully charge it and it only gave me 52 miles on it. Mind you, it’s supposed to be 153 miles on fully charged. I call Carvana and they send me back to the same mechanic. The mechanic keeps the car overnight and next day calls me to let me know that they don’t even work with electric cars so he doesn’t know much about it but definitely know that something is wrong with the battery and that we have to take it to the BMW dealership.
No disrespect to the mechanic but Carvana doesn’t know their own mechanics and what their capacity is. I asked Carvana to give me extension on seven day return period because I’m trying to clean up their mess but they told me they cannot give me the extension but will swap the car with another car. Now if you are in your right mind, you will not trust this company with another purchase. After trying to call Carvana multiple times and getting nowhere with it, I decided to return the car. I will NEVER in my entire life will go buy a car from Carvana and I will tell all my family, friends and people I know not to make that mistake. Just go give your money to some private party than these leaching company who is only interested in your money. Horrible, horrible experience!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! That big car tower you see off the 405 is actually a giant lemon tree! Carvana's crooked business model is selling broken cars to people and hope they can't figure it out before the 7 day return period. Fortunately for us, the problems with our car were immediately apparent. Driving it off the lot to home we realized the AC didn't work. When we got it home we called Carvana to tell them, and the representative was very friendly and apologized and let us know we could take it to an authorized auto shop to have it inspected and repaired. So now we have to go driving around getting their car fixed for them, but hey, my wife Loves the car, and we figure if we get the AC fixed it's good to go. No biggie. Unfortunately this was not the case as further obvious problems with the car began to show up.
It's worth noting that the friendly representative lied to us on the phone, assuring us that Carvana does a full 200 point inspection on all their cars before selling them. A child could tell the AC wasn't working sitting in it for 1 minute, and the other problems were also obvious to anyone with no mechanical background. No inspection was ever done, and I highly doubt anyone even sat in the car once before selling it to us.
The other, and far more crucial problem was that the battery for this EV only held about 45 miles range on a full charge. Again, if anyone had sat in the car even once this would have been obvious by just glancing at the dashboard. When we called about this they told us to take it back to the mechanic. So more time, money and stress wasted trying to fix their mistake with no accountability for the hassle they caused on their end.
After taking it to the mechanic he said we had to contact BMW and take it to a dealership to get tested. The dealership said they would charge us $550 for the inspection of the battery and would only replace it if they decided it was bad enough. Of course, we all know they will say it's not bad enough, and we will be stuck losing $550 and more time and stress trying to fix Carvana's mistake.
Still, we tried to play nice and asked for another extension for our 7 day return period because we were trying to fix their negligence and hadn't gotten a chance to try out the car at all. They told us no, as if the extensions they had given us were a favor to us and they were not going to do it again. The audacity of these companies! Zero accountability.
After this we threw in the towel and will be returning the car. We wasted so much time and went through so much stress for nothing. This car was a gift for my wife, and she was so excited and now is so disappointed. Carvana could not care less and will likely just sell the car off to the next poor buyer. That's why I'm writing this review: so no one else has to go through all this. DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANA! THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH ANY COMPANY EVER!

I first purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited before me and my brother can pull out the lot. We felt a jerk a hard jerk come to find out the whole suspension. The bottom is messed up so they told us that we can return it and purchase some different which and we purchased some different purchase 2016 jeep Cherokee Limited. When I finally came we drove it OK. It was pretty pretty cool at first day as I go to press on the brace, I hear rumbling on the brakes OK so at that point now I knew something is bad so I looked at. I seen that the rotors was messed up. Brakes messed up so I called.
I called them so I can get it sent into one of Repair facilities, took it to one of the pair repair facilities. They did a Dynox on it and they sent Silver Rock everything that’s wrong with underneath the bottom of it going back-and-forth for silver rock and Carvana, trying to upload pictures and pictures to him that they can say that they never got them when they finally got the pictures. The adjuster said that they are not going to cover anything on underneath that truck. That they will cover is the brakes and that only way that they will cover the brakes if that they get them at a discount price. They won’t even pay for the alignment, the upper control bar, the sway bar or any of that and I got the truck on Aug 29, 2024

Comparing vehicles and setting up financing was super easy. I felt very good about my choice and the process of buying was easy.... Kind of. After I hit the buy button, I signed the SSA document I was supposed to. The email I got and the website clearly says that I gotta carry insurance before delivery. Well that's just it though. Before delivery but no immediate deadline, so I set my car delivery for Wednesday making a mental note to sign up for insurance on Monday. I didn't know it apparently had to be within 24 hours because it never said so, so I missed the first deadline. OK fair enough I guess? I set up the new delivery date and I'm not sure what happened but the insurance didn't take and while I did notice before the 24 hour deadline, I did manage to redo it before 24 hours but I was told I missed the deadline, again.
Same thing when it came to signing the papers for the delivery of the car. It says right on the website, to make it a paper free experience sign before the driver arrives. I wasn't too sure about signing papers before seeing the car so I didn't sign. Well I got a call from the driver insinuating that he wasn't gonna be able to drop off the car before I sign. So it's required then? Why not just tell me that instead. The driver was great though. Super chill guy who wasn't in a hurry and went over everything with me. The delivery itself was probably the best experience I've had in buying a car from anywhere.
The day after I noticed a few scratches in the car that had not been mentioned or pictured on the website. I notified Carvana and their response was that a used car will have wear and tear and they will not be doing anything about it. While I understand that, it's not a fair practice to tell me and show me that the car has some scratches (not caught by a fingernail) before purchase and not tell me about the much bigger and deeper scratches after the fact. They managed to find and take a picture of the barely seen scratches on the hood of the car but not the 2 and 3 inch long scratches on both sides of the car that goes through the paint? While only cosmetic, I would like to know what I'm buying since I paid $690 for it to be delivered.... Seems more like it was purposely overlooked in the hopes that the shipping fee was enough of a discouragement to send it back. Lucky for you, it was.

I had doubts when ordering from Carvana, but my local dealerships didn't have a great used car inventory so I decided to take the chance. Everything from the browsing, ordering, and communicating with Carvana customer service was surprisingly easy. I feel confident with the Carvana protection and Plus protection I purchased. My vehicle, a 2021 VW Tiguan, was delivered and seemed to be in great shape. However, less than 4 hours after being delivered it rained and water entered the car through the front windshield. Upon inspection, we noticed whoever installed the windshield did a TERRIBLE job. It was missing sealant in places, and plastic and metal components that held the trim in place are bent. Of course Carvana customer service said that this would not be covered because "it had to be reported to the advocate at the time of drop off." Thankfully, the car received a full bill of health from a dealer inspection.
Really, I almost had a perfect experience with Carvana, but the dishonesty about the windshield and lack of willingness to fix it only hours after it being dropped off was disappointing and left me with mixed feelings. Simply put, I feel like they covered up the windshield issue just enough so that we wouldn't notice. It's hard to say if this was an unfortunate accident or a continuous pattern from Carvana. This being said, I would consider ordering from Carvana again; however, I would recommend taking your time and really looking over the car well. Maybe even take it to a mechanic to get checked out while the advocate is at your house, just to be sure.

My delivery was delayed 3 times. I had the hardest time getting any assistance on the holdup in delivery. I was worried I was getting a lemon since I was told it wouldn’t pass state inspection and that’s exactly what I got. It has been a full two weeks and the transmission is slipping and the front axles need repair which is even longer I will be without a vehicle while bring repairs. I’m not happy with my experience at all.

This is our 3rd vehicle purchased with Carvana and although the process of purchasing this latest vehicle went very smoothly I was not impressed with the level of assistance available about vehicle specifics prior to the sale. Basically we had to wait and see what tires were on the vehicle and condition as well. They state 4/32's is acceptable to which I accept but 2 of the tires were right at the limit and 2 were not even a match. I tried to get this information prior to delivery but got a run around from chatbots and a customer assistant who was unhelpful at best.
Took delivery and went right to the local Kia dealer for inspection. Found dirty oil, air filter, cabin filter and ripped wiper blades. NOT the level of service I have come to expect from Carvana based on previous experience but the overall condition of the vehicle still warrants keeping it as the pictures both inside/out were spot on. No funky smells or hidden damages so very pleased wth that. Not thrilled about the additional $1500 in repairs for things that should really have been taken care of and not impressed with customer services willingness or ability to get specific details of the vehicles prior to taking delivery. That said, overall I will still consider working with Carvana in the future but will wait and see.

The process was so simple, my daughter loved placing the coin in the get the car, and the associate who helped us was so lovely! She even had confetti and took pictures of me and my daughter with my new jeep. The whole experience was easy and great.

The Carvana purchase experience was seamless, BUT the car itself was not in as great of condition as I expected when I picked it up. The car was dirty, the tires were all over the place in terms of air pressure causing the warning lights to be on, water spots on the windows, gas tank was half full, etc. I feel like the cleaning was minimal and could have easily been remedied. After getting into the vehicle, I had to immediately go to a place for air to adjust the tires (one way too high and others very low). This did NOT make me feel good about the vehicle I had just purchased and also made me wonder what else was wrong. Not a great experience for very basic things.

I myself am surprised with the bad experience, as 4 of family members have sold their car through Carvana in the past and had a more than satisfactory experience. However for me that wasn't the case. To start, I was surprised to be charged $90 for them to pick up my car when all 4 family members didn't have to pay when it was being picked up at the same address. However I did consider the fact it may be a new thing so I accepted it. But after submitting all the information and documents I was emailed saying I needed a new title with a valid address, I contacted customer service and they said the address was indeed valid and to just upload the title again.
After doing so the fee to pick up my car at the same address increased $190. I scheduled my car pickup between 5pm-8pm. I received a text around 12pm saying they were on the way and were going to be there between 1:45 and 2pm. So because I have to be there when they arrive to provide the documents and give the keys, I had to leave work early.
When the person came to pick it up I asked him what the point of choosing a appointment time was if they’re just going to come when they want and his response was “my boss called and told me to leave now because we’re short staffed.” So not only did I have to pay a $190 pick up fee (which the person picking up my car even said was an absurd increase), I had to leave work and miss out on making money. Completely unfair to myself and my work just because they were “short staffed.” Don’t give the customer an option for a pickup time if you’re not going to follow it.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from Carvana and both transactions have been a horrible experience, quick approval and weeks of calling and asking and waiting. This particular car, they sold by staying features that are not there, they listed it as with no “imperfections” and there are plenty of very visible imperfections. This makes me so mad because I know they will do absolutely nothing about it. Features missing “ventilated seats” and see pics of very visible damage.

I live in a really rural area and it’s hard to get to the city to car shop. I also work full time as a nurse and am going back to school full time for my Master's degree, along with being a full time mom and wife. Carvana allowed me to find my dream car from the comfort of my home without having to haggle with annoying salesman or asking my husband to step in and help play defense for me. I was able to feel safe and secure with the process without worrying if I was being taken advantage of. Every car I looked at from Carvana was top notch and in excellent condition. The process was beyond easy and convenient! The delivery driver was awesome and showed up exactly as promised and was very professional and knowledgeable in the process. They even register your vehicle for you so no long lines at the DMV!
The only complaint I have is that I wish Carvana was a little more transparent in their descriptions of the vehicles. I had descriptions and pictures of the car I bought, but when it arrived it was 100x better than I expected! I bought a 2018 Lincoln MKX. It was pretty in the pictures, but nearly perfect in real life! It’s in nearly brand new condition and so many amenities. I’m learning something new every time I drive it! I was so nervous to buy something so involved and important online, but I’ll never buy a car any other way again! I’ve been recommending Carvana to all my family, friends, and colleagues!!!

On or about August 15, 2024, I attempted to purchase a 2019 Dodge Challenger from Carvana. They almost immediately charged me a $690 delivery fee, which I had no problem with as I was attempting to purchase the car in good faith. After sending them reams of documents to establish my identity, address, and home ownership, they had a problem with our phone bill. Because my wife set up a family account, only my number appears on the bill, not my name. The wife's name and our address is on it (she was a co-signer), but this wasn't acceptable and they would no longer finance me. This is simply the way T-Mobile does their bills, there's hardly anything I can do about it. The "advocate" I was dealing with assured me on two separate occasions on the phone that this shipping fee would be refunded "as there would be no account to tie it to."
I waited until the 22nd of August and chatted via their website to another "advocate" named Tyler, who apologized for the refund not automatically going through and that it would be put in manually. I have a screenshot of his message. Now today, 4 September, I contacted a different person as there is still no refund and was informed that as the order was canceled at about 27 hours after I started the process (due mainly to them stringing me along with requests for more documents), I don't get my money back. In a nutshell, I have been charged a shipping fee for something that never shipped. It wasn't even supposed to arrive for another week anyway, it isn't like the car had been loaded on a truck. This being over their 24 hour deadline wasn't my fault, and charging me nearly $700 for nothing is outright theft. Do not have any dealings with these people, they are crooks.

The search and purchase portion of my order was effortless. The pickup went smoothly. But, the instant I took possession of the vehicle and noticed some non-disclosed issues requiring repair, Carvana wiped their hands off me and passed me over to their insurer, SilverRock, who proceeded to dismiss almost every concern except for faulty brakes. Despite spending over $23k on my vehicle, I’m out an additional +$1k (so far) for necessary repairs, including keeping rear windows attached to the vehicle, replacing windshield wipers and a cabin air filter. I will never purchase another vehicle from Carvana and would not recommend that anyone else does either.

There have been some issues with our vehicle that we did not expect. A large truck tire was caught in the grill and had caused a lot of the safety features to not be working. It was disappointing to not be able to be driving our new vehicle right away and to have to put it in the shop.

Our first vehicle had a whine so we took it to the local dealer as it was still under full warranty. The rear differential was damaged due to improper towing so fortunately we were able to take advantage of the 7 day return and reselect. Due to this, we had to take a second loan from our bank as it was a new vehicle/VIN. The swap was made 8 days ago and my bank statement still shows I have two loans as the bank is awaiting return of the money on the first car. Not acceptable in this day and age.

This was my second Carvana purchase and it was a total disappointment compared to the first. There were numerous unreported cosmetic issues with the car ranging from a torn driver's seat to paint damage. None of which would SilverRock agree to repair. In addition, the air conditioner needed a charge, the battery died in the first week along with other electrical issues requiring attention. This pretty much proves that the 150-point inspection is completely bogus.

Easy process but the lying about car conditions are bad. First car had many more cosmetic issues than advertised. Previous owner definitely hit something that was not disclosed. Second one, again had something hit the front driver headlight area that was not disclosed, and terrible discoloration in back passenger seat that was bad, but not seen unless the door is opened. Be very wary and don’t pay a shipping fee, because, unless you’re lucky, you’ll want to return the vehicle.

The process was seamless, until it came time for delivery. I was called by Carvana in Latham NY to state that they had no one to deliver my car. They asked if I could pick it up. I went to the dealership, where the ONE person working had no idea I'd be coming. The car wasn't ready, the salesman was annoyed I was there, and treated me as so. I was so.excited to get this car, and as juvenile as it sounds- the experience was ruined for me. The car has way more scratches on it than stated, the windshield has two cracks in it. I was told there was nothing they could do. Also, there was no gas in the car upon pickup. I'm just so disappointed. I'm paying over 24,000 for this car and it's nothing like I imagined.

Was not asked to test drive. The car was parked backed in, so the delivery guy must have noticed the backup camera was not working. Has to be fixed at the local Dodge dealer and can't get in until September 6th. I really like it other than those issues. I am hopeful it will be easily resolved.

The process overall is super easy! From beginning until end Carvana was much better than sitting in a car dealership for hours! Unfortunately the first vehicle I received had to be returned due to the computer screen not working the day after I received it. We had it looked at and apparently the issue couldn’t be resolved. We had to replace it with another wagoner which was very inconvenient but at least there was the 7 day money back guarantee. The only complaint I would have besides that inconvenience is that the cars are not very detailed upon delivery. I would have liked the car to be spotless when delivered but neither of the cars I received were.

Do not waste your time selling your vehicle here. I was given a quote one day, then the quote was decreased by $400.00 when I signed the acceptance. I agreed to the lowered price, Waited for them to pick up the car, and no one showed up. Upon calling to complain they agreed to reschedule the appointment 4 days later, and honor the original price. When they showed up the technician said he could not accept the car to due an airbag recall. I called Nissan and there is not an issue on my car. The car Vin # was checked and the car is safe, NO RECALL ISSUED. I feel they are claiming this to not honor the price they quoted.

Upon delivery all four tires were rotted. Oil had not been changed in a very long time. Power steering pump is leaking. The rear driver side brakes lights, running lights and reverse lights do not work. There is front end damage. I have spent the last 9 days trying to get repairs and estimates at your preferred shops. Car was at Firestone a total of 4 days the day after I received it. Then had to take it to Precision for power steering leak. Said they cannot fix it.
Now I have to find someone else along with still waiting for Gerber Collision to get back to me. When I received my contract I called Carvana because gap was not added. They added it. But they did not add the premium warranty gave me the power train only. I requested upgrade several times and to SilverRock. I am very upset that a Mercedes was not properly inspected prior to delivery though it states it had an 150 point inspection and I did not get the premium warranty. It was and is unsafe to drive. Though I have new tires now. But couldn’t pick the vehicle up from Firestone until the 7 th day. Both collision places said vehicle has been in accident yet I was not informed of any damage. I’ve missed work trying to get my car to several places for repairs.
I have photos from the moment the car was dropped in my driveway. I barely have a 100 miles that I’ve put on the car and it’s from driving back and forth to repair shops. I haven’t been able to enjoy my new car yet a payment is due in a couple weeks. I’m very upset with this experience and especially that I don’t have the premium extended warranty. Now have to wait at least another week, will have to take my vehicle in two more times to the gerber collision.

This is the third vehicle our family has purchased and by far the most disappointing. Website only showed one flaw on the exterior. When it arrived there were multiple flaws in the paint and every wheel had been curbed and damaged. The only reason I didn’t send the car back was it was the color and had the options I wanted.

Carvana sold us a car that still had a lien on it. They offered zero in the way of placing us in a new vehicle and did not verbally communicate that the vehicle could not be registered. Carvana communicated instead via email that WE had a lien with the state of Arizona and that is why there were registration issues. The lien was on the prior owner not us. Since then when we told them we would rather just return the vehicle their communication has been worse. They scheduled a vehicle pickup, we waited at home all day just to be told that it was rescheduled to two days later. You cannot escalate calls - there’s no director of customer service and the 48 hour turn around time to escalate an issue is utter BS. I will never purchase a vehicle from them again and will warn everyone we know to steer clear of Carvana

Overall, I was satisfied with the whole process. It was relatively easy and I'm very happy with the car. There were just a couple of little things that took the joy out of getting it:
- A throbbing noise from the undercarriage of the car (which our mechanic fixed by tightening the loose lug nuts on one of the wheels.)
- A quick note here -- I paid for the diagnosing and fixing the lug nuts out of pocket because the nearest mechanic participating in their warrant network was 30 minutes away.
- The floor mats pictured with the car were not delivered with the car. I have been promised a $100 rebate (which did not cover the replacement floor mats which I have now, in essence, bought twice.) I would hope that Carvana could keep track of the detachable parts of the car and make sure they are included when delivered!
Having said that, everybody I worked with was very pleasant and Carvana is taking care of the registration and sending the license plates when done, which is awesome! Those little problems in their process execution (which did not cost me very much to fix, but still...) took this from a 5-star review to a just-satisfied review.

Had issue with rear tag. Correct hardware was not provided. Took to recommended (by Carvana) repair shop only for them to make it worse. A few days later the oil light came own. Again had to go through SilverRock which recommended repair shops with 1 and 2 stars on Google reviews. Told them I wasn't taking it to a auto shop that wasn't certified to work on European cars. Only 1 available and it was 30 mins away. Silver rock couldn't even guarantee it would be covered which is ludicrous to think a car purchased 10 days prior having low oil and I have to pay for it to be serviced. I will never purchase from Carvana again!

The transaction was mostly good except for the trade-in. I processed the trade in online and started looking for a car to purchase on Carvana. I processed the purchase and used the trade-in amount towards the purchase. Two days after purchase transaction Carvana sent me an email and said that my trade-in was worth $1000 less and they withdrew around $1200 from my checking account without any reasoning. I spent the next three days and about 6 hours speaking with many departments to finally get the trade-in resolved. All this could have been avoided. This is when I realized that it's near impossible to talk with a human at Carvana and when you do, they constantly send you to wrong department.

I absolutely love the vehicle - it is practically brand new based off the care that was taken to it. The communication in the buying process was constant, but sometimes confusing - with every required item uploaded, there was a new deadline in a very short turnaround, and one of the deadlines changed from the original date to an email I received that said it was past due and the whole process was cancelled. This obviously caused me to panic and a quick call resulted in apologies and everything is fine/on schedule. In all, easier to buy online than in person but it was a stressful week even for an extremely Type A organized person. But again, I couldn't love the car any more and I never thought I would get exactly what I wanted so quickly.

ABSOLUTE WORST EXP - DO NOT RECOMMEND - car delivered with cracked windshield, bad breaks & rotors - we were without a car for 2 days while Silver Rock played around and didn’t do their job at all. Silver Rock is another company. I highly would not recommend their customer service and response time is absolutely horrendous. Overall, this experience has been a nightmare. Wonderful experience. Process was completed on line with both the trade in and purchase of the Smart. My only concern is the air filter and oil were not serviced even though the maintenance due had been reset to 10k on the car's service due dash indicator. Overall the car was clean, mechanicals in good operating condition and the exchange was a great customer experience.

The Carvana website was easy to use. I had completed all my tasks to purchase vehicle and was alerted that I needed to call into carvana to complete a call with my bank. I went through four representatives and 45 minutes before they found someone who knew what they were doing. They kept pulling up the wrong cars and wrong accounts. The last representatives notifies me that the issue is they don't accept joint checking account statements for purchase of through carvana!!!! I am baffled, how do you not accept joint checking accounts. I am married and have had a joint checking account for 8 years. This is insane. The team at carvana seems like they don't have a clue what is going on.

The online service was awful. There was a lack of updating my profile on what the next steps were. I got calls saying I had one hour to get things done. It was extremely stressful. They gave us 1 hr to get a copy of the financing check but only gave us the invoice to process with USAA the same call. Since we did financing through an outside party the process was unclear and stressful. Even the sale rep who gave us the car, said, "If you don’t use Carvana financing your profile does not get updated and the car buying process gets confusing." I tell every one I show my new car to, to NOT use Carvana!!!

My experience with Carvana was a mixed bag. The night of ordering, there were tech issues with scheduling pick up. That was resolved quickly thankfully. My primary issue was with the AI assist bot. It gave incorrect information a few times, confirmed by an agent who was placing a ticket for the incident. He also said a ticket was already out in. Once I was handling the remainder of the sale with a person, who was able to verify my documents the experience was great. Delivery went well, and I'm happy with the purchase. For me, I think speaking with a person during the document review and upload process would make for a better experience overall. I had to have an exception made in my case, as I have no documents in the first list (which is required) but had proof via my cosigner of address. I cannot remember the agent's name, but he was extremely helpful, kind, and responsive with my questions and concerns. So shout out to him.

I purchased the vehicle at the beginning of August with a 5 day delivery, which was no problem, I could stand to wait a couple of days. However, the day before the delivery I received a message about rescheduling it out another 5 days due to "transportation issues". Okay, I don't want to wait another 5 days for a total of 10 days after my purchase, but what can I do? Then upon delivery, there is actually more things wrong with the car than was reported, mostly cosmetic issues, but no worries until the driver goes to put the odometer reading in and it almost 1000 miles over the count that was in my contract and on the website and there was a receipt from the previous day for gas from a gas station in Yakima Washington, which is 300 away from where the car dealership is. So yeah, all in all, I wouldn't use them again.

I found a car that I am more than excited to drive. A 2023 Chevy Bolt EV. My first electric car. They shipped it from Florida to Texas in about two weeks. Staff made the purchase easy and fast. Financing was a breeze. The downside was the inspection was lacking before delivery. One of my tires had a sidewall bubble (Silverrock warranty replaced at no cost), the EV charger was missing from the vehicle (they are sending me a check to buy one), and there was no swag included. I purchased a car in 2018 when Carvana just started and our car was decked with air fresheners, shirts, cups, and gift cards. I missed that part of the experience. I think Carvana needs to improved PDI and come on back with the swag. Other than that my car was 100%.

DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANA. They do not care about tire age and they absolutely misrepresent their vehicles. I bought my vehicle August of 2024, the tires are from 2013. THESE TIRES ARE OUT OF DOT REGULATIONS. IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO SELL A VEHICLE WITH THESE TIRES. The frustrating part of all of it is the back and forth with the staff. There is almost no human interaction. When talking to one of the staff members through the messaging app it takes minutes to respond and they talk like robots. Not once did I get a response that sounded like someone was actually talking to me. When you tell Carvana there is an issue with the car they just send you to a shop. The shops HATE Silverrock and complain to their customers about it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Carvana. They charge way too much for the junk they have, and the customer service is a joke.

The experience was easier than a traditional dealer. It is nice to only be at the dealer for 15 minutes or so and everything handled electronically beforehand. However, two things were not great. One is that I was not given the option to add my wife to the registration during the process. So now we have to go handle that at the DMV. A bit of a hassle.
Second, it was not disclosed that the car had non stock parts on it. The muffler was replaced with a muffler delete by the previous owner. It would have been good to know this before we bought the car. We had a lot of questions about legality in California, especially around passing emissions test. I am actually surprised it passed your inspection or was not at least noted.

Not my first purchase and/or exchange with Carvana. I love this company and the way they do business. The ease and flow of their app is very enticing and so much fun! Their vehicle selection is huge and their own financing through Bridgecrest is very fair by offering good interest rates according to your personal credit score. They are very quick in processing all documents via Docu Sign online. Everything is done in a simple and clear manner.

I am really happy with my Carvana experience. It made selling my existing vehicle and purchasing a new one easy, smooth, and cost-effective. We have now purchased three vehicles from Carvana in the past six years. First car we purchased we had no issues. The next purchase was an Lexus NX. This is where it all went sideways. The Advocate knew nothing about the car. You could not even tell us the basic functions of the and features. As we discovered them he was as shocked as we were. He did not know how to mount a front license plate holder. The worst revelation was when we arrived home. The blind spot sensor was not working. Not to say when the button was pushed nothing happened. When I pushed the button a load buzz occurred with a message on the dash saying to take the car to the dealership for repair.
When I spoke with support I was told that the sensors are not part of the inspection. I asked if pushing all of the buttons in the cars was part of the inspection because this could not have been missed. The other issue is that only 1 of the 3 keys we received worked. I changed the batteries still nothing. We decided to return the car. We picked out a 2013 Toyota Highlander. We were supposed to pick it up on a Monday after selecting it on a Tuesday the previous week. I received a text message stating that the pick up was now changed to Wednesday. I received this text on Monday at around 1pm. 6 hours before our appointment time.
On Wednesday I went to pick up the car and there were several issues that were not noted on the vehicle profile. Missing trim with a residue left behind, a piece of the passenger side front door handle missing a cover piece, a substance on the interior of the back tailgate, the headlights were faded and dulled, radiator cover was missing over 6 fasteners and the seat are extremely wore and look awful. None of this was marked on the profile and even the advocate was a little shocked. Some are due to it being an older car, which I understand, but the missing door handle and the substances should have been resolved before I picked up the car. It needs to be a 200 pt inspection with 4 sets of eyes not just two in case something is missed. Overall it is a solid car and we are keeping it. Just frustrating from a company with a good reputation overall.

I have both sold and purchased vehicles at Carvana, I found their offered purchase price and the listed price of vehicles for sale to be very fair. The entire process is extremely simple. I was not more than 10 minutes inside the facility. Going to a dealership and spending hours is not something that I'll be doing again.

I have bought two cars from Carvana. My first experience (Audi) was in 2021 and it great from start to finish. This experience was awful from start to finish. I was trading in my Audi for a Kia Forte. There were so many problems with going through the process because there are multiple ways to list my address. It finally took the work of a smart employee to use Google search to verify my address. The pickup was a total mess and ended up picking up the car rather than having it delivered. The only thing that gave my rating two stars were the staff who were working in your awful, clunky system to purchase a car. Please make better workflows so employees can do even better work. I will look at other vendors first before going back to Carvana to shop again.

Carvana absolutely made the car-buying experience easy and enjoyable. There is definitely a cost associated with that, but I was willing to pay to get a relatively rare vehicle with low mileage. Unfortunately, the car delivered with a small windshield crack that was not disclosed. Even though glass repair is one of the options for warranty coverage and Safelite is listed as a preferred provider, it turns out that windshield repair is NOT covered by the warranty. This was disappointing, expensive, and resulted in a lower rating for my overall experience with Carvana. Otherwise, the car and service are great.

A few weeks ago I sold my car to Carvana, hesitantly - it was something new. Well that process was simple enough. I got a KBB price that I was expecting and the Carvana driver, Jose, was patient and thorough. So I shopped around, Cars.com. Carguru and Autotrader for a replacement. I knew what I wanted. All of them including Carvana had on their websites what I wanted, even a local dealer. The dealer's price was too high and I was unsure of traveling from LI to Connecticut to buy a private sale. Carvana's 7 day trial was the deciding factor. The process was NOT seamless like the purchase. If one is not familiar with the internet, scanning uploading, sigh, and pdf/jpg they would be intimidated and probably not buy from Carvana

Getting my new car out of the biggest, funnest vending machine was quite the experience! Carvana has competitive prices on trade ins and purchases. It was like I was a kid in a candy store. We even received a duplicate Carvana coin for the machine and a keychain. Highly recommended!!

My experience that I had was amazing! It's been to got to look for a car and I went on their website and got to choose from a list of vehicles that I liked. And I got to say amazing. The last few times I purchased a car went through a dealership and sit hours practically the whole day to get a vehicle. They swiped my credit and hit it hard so many times.. When we went to Office To pick up the vehicle Chris was super nice and got us in and out of there within 10 minutes. I still can't believe how fast and easy this was shopping for a vehicle. I highly recommend shopping with them making your shopping vehicle days easier. My daughter even got her car after I did after the experience I had. They take care of their people and they know how it's time is very valuable. Thank you Carvana.

Overall, I was extremely happy with the buying process. The only thing, is I wish there was a more obvious person to contact with questions/ concerns. The people in charge of detailing the car decided that spray painting the rims would be a good idea without masking off the tires. Now I have aluminum color paint on the black tires. It’s not a huge deal, but it looks very cheap, and makes me wonder what else you might have done cheaply just to get rid of a car.

The initial contact was easy, the application online was clear and precise and the delivery was on point. We can highly recommend using CARVANA. This is now my second experience purchasing a previously owned vehicle through Carvana. I was even more impressed than the first experience and I was thoroughly happy then too! Carvana makes it so smooth and easy every step of the way. From the ease of selecting a vehicle through the website, to the financing/trade in portion and then insurance and ultimately pick up, I was so impressed with how simple, fast and efficient the entire process was. Carvana offered me a more than fair price on my trade in and them offering great, easy to be approved financing and even a discounted resource for car insurance made things go so smoothly.
I intend to do all of my car trade in/purchases with Carvana in the future too. I'm a single mom with two impressionable daughters so thank you so much for making this possible for us and for showing my girls that hard work pays off and that dreams (Tesla-ownership) can come true if you set your mind to it and have a great business partnership too (Carvana)! Very simple process. Web site clear and easy to shop.. A friend recommended Carvana so I was not surprised by the putting in Trade in title and my driver's license, etc. Second time purchasing through Carvana. Better experience with the first time. Seemed like had put in more info and add insurance multiple times, it was over a holiday weekend so possible the info was not updating and multiple requests were automated. This vehicle needed front brakes and rear rotors for state inspection so that was disapproving. I didn't drive enough to wear all that out. First purchase my regular mechanic commented how new everything was for the state inspection. The warranty places are national chains type place. It is an easy, clean, process vs shopping at a dealership. Happy with the vehicle and completive price during these challenging economic conditions. I would buy from Carvana again.

It should not have been this easy to spend $30,000! I liked the large selection to choose from, the loan process was simple, and the paperwork was quick. I was concerned about buying a car I’d never seen but it is in great shape. There was one issue with a window button being loose- which wasn’t in the description of the car and we didn’t notice until a few days later- and we were able to get that fixed at a local shop for free using the SilverRock warranty. I will have to wait until the full 100 day warranty is up before making a final decision about Carvana but as of right now our experience has been 100% positive.

From start to finish everything was easy and pleasant. Great way to buy a car. The drop off was perfect and he was friendly and polite. Every interaction was easy and smooth. I was so nervous but it all went great. I recommend Carvana to anyone looking to trade in and buy a new car.
