The description of the vehicle could be better. I’m going through the repair service now because my vehicle arrived with dangerously low tread and cracking tires. How this gets through and not addressed prior to selling is beyond me. I can understand overlooked details or damage that’s harder to see. For example a bad wheel bearing that takes longer to diagnose and needs certain conditions to realize you have that problem but every single car has 4 tires and they’re big and noticeable and to not see GIANT cracks or very low tread is beyond me. Anyways I hope the repair processs goes smoother and you guys take care of me but for now it’s 2 stars 'cause delivery and purchasing was very easy and smooth.

Not very impressed. I received my car which I do love but it was not thoroughly checked. Service light on day 1 and the day before I was taking it to get inspected, it had a dead battery. I kept getting the run around on what to do and then they eventually had to take my car for 48 hours because apparently, that’s how long the insurance claim takes to go through. Don’t get my inspection done now until Monday because it was in the shop for two days just to change a battery. Definitely disappointed because this should’ve been caught before I received the car.

I'm sure this process is simple for those who finance through Carvana, but it was very frustrating to complete this process using my personal bank. I was penalized because Carvana employees failed to do their job in a timely manner and had to delay the purchase of my vehicle for another day, despite there being an ENTIRE business day to verify the check my credit union made to Carvana. Next, you need to update your website regarding the insurance requirement. Per your website under the Pennsylvania tab information, I would be required to have insurance on the vehicle I was purchasing, the DAY OF PURCHASE. However, you would not allow the appointment to remain scheduled until I had the insurance on the vehicle for FIVE DAYS PRIOR to me actually getting the vehicle! That is unacceptable and completely off-base from every other dealership in Pennsylvania.
I think if you are conducting business in this state then you need to be aware how business is done. Another aspect to this disappointing experience was the fact that the "car vending machine" was "broken". That was the entire reason I had the vehicle sent there instead of having it conveniently shipped to my home. I went out of my way to come to your facility only to be told "it's broken" with no apologies made. I went through all of the frustration leading up to the purchase and then was deprived of my full Carvana experience, making the process, in my opinion, not worth it. My mother-in-law was considering purchasing through Carvana, but after hearing my experience, has decided to purchase elsewhere.

We traded our car through Carvana. That process was fast and easy. The first car we had delivered had a lot more cosmetic damage than declared. Paint overspray all over the windshield and mirrors, peeling paint, rubber parts peeling up. They only showed “light scratches your finger nail can’t feel”. So we set up an exchange. This exchange was delayed 3 times. Twice the night before and once during the drop off window. Once was legitimate due to weather. The other two had no reason given. I was not allowed to pick it up even though they said it was at my local Carvana. If you aren’t in a hurry and don’t mind a lot of waiting and chatting with AI, it might not be bad. But, if you actually need the car… I’d pass. Not to mention, the car they sent was not the car pictured.

I would not recommend Carvana to anyone. They totally lie. You can not use the 7 days love it or exchange it. Tried that and they never let me exchange it. They sold me a car that had frame damage and I should of known they were aware of it as to why the down payment was only $2 back. 50.00. They suckered me there. Once I had it they refused to exchange it. Their warranty is more like what warranty. What a joke and the funny thing is I tried to see what kind of deal they would give me to trade it back in. I paid 23,500 for my car.
Their offer a month later to me was 10,000 to trade it in. But yet I paid $23,500. What a scam. Not to mention they lie about your interest as well. Mine was supposed to be 17% super high but they actually hit me with a 21% at signing and my credit score was 720. Do not get a car from them you will regret it. After confronting them with all these issues they refused to do anything to make it right. They literally said my problem. And refuse to even answer my BBB complaint. Imagine that, they don't even answer to the BBB nor do they participate with them. Be Aware!!!!

Getting financing and finding the right car was smooth and easy. I was approved quickly and had plenty of time to research the right vehicle. The delivery was quick and easy, and the 10 day trial was a nice thing to have. I ended up keeping the car, it was a great price and exactly what I wanted. Delivery driver was super nice and helpful, even answered all my questions. The experience was a 10/10 for me.

It was super easy. I found the perfect vehicle and went through the purchase process, provided information on my trade in vehicle with no problems. They delivered the car to my home on the date that I selected, gave me all I needed to get my car registered, and took my trade in away with them. I never thought I would buy a car like this but now I don't ever think I'll buy a car any other way. By far the best car buying experience I've ever had.

This was my 2nd purchase from Carvana.. This purchase did not come with owner’s manual. I requested assistance from Carvana in obtaining an owner's manual. My request was dismissed as it was not Carvana's problem. I was directed to download a manual from the internet. Again I asked for assistance and again dismissed. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing as this was a large purchase and a simple request for assistance.

I'm visiting GA for a funeral. I flew out but thought it would be cheaper to drive back. I found my car, and there were two flaws mentioned. When I picked it up, there were other scratches. I didn't want to reject the car and decided to take it. I was driving and saw a 3-inch crack on the bottom of the windshield. I didn't see it because I had to leave. My appointment took about an hour, and my representative took about 45 minutes in the back. He said he needed to research additional information because the car was registered in another state.
Carvana said I needed to mention the flaw at pick-up, but I didn't notice it, so now I have to go through my insurance to get it fixed. I also didn't like that the Carvana vending machine didn't have enough coins, so I didn't get a chance to keep one. Ordering the car was easy, but if I get another car or refer people to Carvana, I will tell them to thoroughly inspect it and ensure they aren't rushing to purchase a car. Deny any vehicle that doesn't match the online description.

Completely loved the whole buying experience! The only complaint I have is that there was only one imperfection displayed when I was researching the vehicle but found several other others later. Was told that is normal wear and tear and it would not be covered under warranty. I just wish they would’ve listed all of the imperfections and not just one. Other than that really loved it!

Registration process held up because someone did not check to ensure all paperwork was in hand. I had to deal with emails and text messages because someone did not do their job. Also, I found a problem with the liftgate struts needed to be replaced because the liftgate would not stay in place when opened.

I traded my BMW 750LI to Carvana for a newer BMW 740i. Upon the arrival of the 740i it had 187 miles more than the online purchase agreement. It also had four dented rims which made for an extremely rough ride. The car was delivered to me in this condition after their 150 point inspection which I find impossible. I made contact with carvana regarding the damaged car and they informed me that they would not fix the car or make any adjustments and that I would have to file a claim under the warranty.
Upon contacting the warranty I was informed that I would need to take the vehicle to one of their “in network” shops and they would decide if the damages were covered. They further informed me that car rims are considered cosmetic and they would only cover three rims if any coverage at all. I was informed that this could take up to 2 or 3 weeks if the repairs were made. I was informed that I would have to pay $750 dollars for a tow to the “in network “ shop due to the roadside assistance only covers up to $100. I would then be with no vehicle for an undetermined amount of time unless I rented a vehicle for myself and file a claim for possible reimbursement.
Due to my having sold them my only vehicle and not able to afford their process I had to exchange the vehicle for another and could not cancel the entire purchase. This all happened in the 7 day exchange period. Starting the second day of delivery. I purchased a vehicle from Carvana in 2019 and it was one of the best car purchasing experiences I’ve had. This purchase from Carvana in 2025 was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

When possession of vehicle there was no owner's manual, certain climate control buttons were not illuminated, a tire pressure sensor was malfunctioning. The person at the facility for pickup was nice but did not seem to be any help in getting an owners manual or the fact that there was only one decal for the 4x4. Also the infotainment system doesn’t connect Apple Play. The remote start feature on the vehicle was not working. An authorized key vendor for Carvana came out and tried 3 different brands new key remotes and the feature still would not work. That person said that the vehicle might not have that feature at all.
I took the vehicle to Carvana’s authorized service provider and told them of all the issues I was having. At the end of it all the service provider just did a diagnostic scan and that was all. The items I had told them about, the remote start, the audio system, the non illumination of the climate control, was as if they didn’t look at it at all. The statement I got back from the service people was they only performed certain duties and if electrical, the vehicle had to be taken to another facility. Needless to say I was not satisfied with this at all.
Going forward I will have to take the vehicle back to another repair provider for the electrical issues, leave the vehicle and so forth. This disrupts my work/sleep schedule since I work nights. Carvana claims to do a 150 point inspection on every vehicle. I feel the issues with the vehicle I chose were overlooked or found and not corrected. From the start of this purchase till now it’s been very aggravating and frustrating because I did not think I’d have to have the vehicle in a repair facility and eventually in another one that deals with electrical issues right after purchase.
If I had known these issues existed I would have passed it up. The reason I didn’t return it during the 7 day return period was I was confident all the issues I had listed for the vehicle would be corrected. As of yet they have not been and once again I have to call Carvana to get another appt made for the electrical issues. The vehicle is now back at my residence with the issues and no one from Carvana has reached out to me to see if I was satisfied with the recent service visit. This has shaken my confidence in Carvana. This is our 2nd purchase and the first purchase was flawless. This one, not so much.

My daughter purchased a Mazda suv from Carvana and had a great experience, so my husband sold his Toyota suv to Carvana and had a great experience, so I traded in my car for a pick up truck from Carvana and as expected had a great experience. I highly recommend Carvana as it is a fast easy process. They give you top dollar for your trade in and have reasonably priced vehicles good vehicles. Way better than going to your traditional dealership and sitting there for four hours while they go back and forth speaking to their manager on your behalf. I Love Carvana!

I originally tried to purchase a different vehicle but upon delivery it was not as advertised on the Carvana site. It claimed that it had an 8 speed automatic transmission, but on arrival it was actually a 6 speed manual transmission. I was forced to send it back due to this discrepancy. I then had to go repeat the process and wait another week for delivery. How long does it normally take to receive your refund on down payments? Other than this it was a fairly easy experience. I will recommend carvana to someone looking to purchase a vehicle. Both delivery drivers were very polite and informative. Thank you for my new vehicle.

I just purchased a Honda 2021 Pass Port from Carvana, up until now, I would have had a 99% positive review to leave. It took me a couple of months to choose a car from them since I was buying online I wanted to be careful of what I chose. I was trading in my Jeep which I had for 7 years and was tired of getting it fixed. The representatives were wonderful working with me to choose the right car, everything was done more or less effortlessly. When the car arrived it wasn't what I expected but it was fine for now, I had planned to get a second car when I was done paying off this car. When the car arrived I was told by the person who delivered the car the back tire was low and I should contact Carvana about a new tire. I didn't think anything of it and put air in the tire. Since I had the car the tire would drop in PSI every now and then by 3 PSI but I'm thinking it's the cold weather or something.
I finally had the time to take the car to Pep Boys to have the tire looked at and they told me I needed all-new tires. They started a claim and were told the tires were not covered. I called Carvana and explained this was not something listed as imperfections on the car otherwise I would have never bought the car, I just spent $1,000 getting the trade-in fixed on top of that I have to make car payments to them.
The end result is because it's past the 30 days there is nothing they can do even though they never mentioned the car needing new tires and I would have never brought the car if it did. Now I have to drive the car in the snow with bad tires. I am praying I don't get into an accident. They could have at least offered to help me pay for the tires or something. I was telling everyone how buying a car online was not so bad I don't think I would recommend this method to anyone. I was going to get my daughter's car from Carvana but I think I will stick to a dealership. It's a car so whatever is wrong is not going to happen in just 30 days first of all the time frame should be longer.

Carvana transaction was easy and my trade in was easy too. Definitely recommend Carvana when you want to buy or do a trade in. The process was much easier than going to a car regular dealership. My only complaint was the transportation company. Transportation company caused extra damage. For the price paid to ship and transport the car I purchased, that company needs to learn how to ship cars. I spent 2 hrs trying to get marks/scrapes off and some won’t come off. You could see where straps were on car and scrapes. Chips & scratches on car that were not on it in pictures Carvana posted. Check your shipper before paying the companies listed. 5 +stars for Carvana. Shipper 2 (to many addition scratches and dents).

There were many cosmetic issues that were not disclosed in the original listing, bolts missing in the engine bay, a rear sunroof that’s broken, deteriorating bump shocks, and other problems. While simple things like an inspection, and air filter+brake fluid changes were covered by Silver Rock, they make it VERY difficult to make claims and contact their team. The order and delivery process was very pleasant, but trying to get any issues addressed is a nightmare. All used vehicles are going to come with some issues, but the fact that most of them are not disclosed on the sale listing is very frustrating. I probably would not recommend Carvana to other people due to the difficult claims and repairs process, as well as the fact that most problems will not even be fixed.

Updated on 03/01/2025: It took about 1 month from initially paying in full to finally getting my truck. Then, I was sent an email saying the title was being processed and to check my dashboard. The dashboard said I should have my plates in the mail by today. I do not. Never received the plates. So I called today and they said "It's a glitch, that's an automated email and the info isn't accurate. You need to go to the DMV." I should have just bought a car from a regular dealership. It would have been MUCH MUCH easier.
Original: I have now paid Carvana in full 2X. I paid the first time 3 weeks ago, they took 6 days to return my money. I then paid again a week ago. I scheduled my pick up a week ago. They have now delayed my pick up at the very last minute. It's now 3 weeks with me not having a car. My family will now need to: 1) take time off from work to get the vehicle, 2) once again (the 4th time) change our insurance effective date, and 3) their customer service just says "too bad," as there's nothing that they can do to help. They've effectively had my money for about 3 weeks so I'm also losing interest.
You pay a $1,290 shipping fee for them to not even get your vehicle to you when they promised, then they expect you to jump through hoops to get the car with a new pick up time. Just go to a regular car dealer, save yourself the time, money, and a lot of headaches. I could have used to vehicle 3 WEEKS AGO when I first paid in full. This wouldn't happen if you just went to a regular car dealer. Never again.

I purchased a Subaru Forester through Carvana a little over 2 months ago. I’ve had to take the car in on 2 occasions to repair facilities already. The first time was for an oil leak - I wrote it off as a new technician not properly tightening the oil pan or screw; not a big deal. The 2nd time was for transmission issues. This is covered under my extended warranty (so far) so again, not a huge deal but irritating and inconvenient nonetheless.
However, during my repair work on the transmission, I asked they complete a walk-through on the vehicle. They noticed the inside of my back left tire has exposed cords. I was informed the cords are exposed and without the damage on the other tires, this has been an issue for a decent amount of time indicating the car was sold to me in this condition. After contacting Carvana I was told this isn’t covered under my warranty and I’ll have to pay it out-of-pocket. My issue isn’t about the tires not being under warranty, it’s that they sold it while it was unsafe. THOROUGHLY check your car and maybe even take it in for an inspection within the first 7 days. This way you’ll be able to find any issues they decide to just let roll away off the lot.

Again, buying and picking up was very easy and everyone was very polite. So the truck I bought had fogged up/dim headlights. Not a big deal, my son and I bought new assemblies and bulbs and put them in. What is troubling is when we removed the front grill, there was a HAMMER, down inside of it. This led me to investigate some more and it became apparent that the front end had been replaced and painted. nothing mentioned on the Carfax, and honestly now I am paranoid that I may have bought a vehicle that was wrecked, without being aware of it. Again, the buying experience was great, but I am disappointed that I wasn't made aware that the front end of this truck had been replaced for whatever reason.

This is my 1st experience purchasing a vehicle from Carvana. Found the truck I've always wanted (Toyota Tacoma). Placed my order and was told to be available on the scheduled delivery day. 2 hours prior (on delivery day) the delivery was postponed by 3 days. The entire time I felt like I was being scammed and to my surprise on delivery day my 2018 Toyota Tacoma was delivered. Upon delivery the delivery driver driver said to take it for a test drive and to look it over. Upon arrival I noticed the front rims of the vehicle had a heavy coat of brake dust on them. I also noticed the tires were dry rotten and during the test drive the truck shook when coming to a stop (I suspect bad brakes and warped rotors).
After I returned back home I popped the hood and was greeted by a filthy engine compartment the battery terminals were very corroded, the power steering fluid was low, and to my surprise the coolant was WAY below the "low" fill line. I proceeded to the delivery driver who had stated that he would be noting everything I found wrong and that I should be receiving a phone call once he entered in the information. He said it might take a bit of time to receive the phone call being that it was a holiday weekend (in between Christmas and new years). 2 days went by and no phone call. The 3rd day I reached out to Silver rock and was told that I had to schedule an appointment with repair shop and that none of the issues were even reported on my account! Plus on top of it I only had a 7 day return window! It could possibly take weeks to even get an appointment with a mechanic.
My wife reached out to carvana and was told they would add an extra 48 hours on top of the 7 day return period. Smh. I'm returning this vehicle and I'm very disappointed with this experience. I work hard for the money I make and I finally get to a point in my life that I can afford my dream truck and get letdown big time. I don't ever know how this vehicle passed inspection. Subaru recommends all the tire be the same type so as not to stress the AWD system. I contacted Carvana who stated I needed to discuss with Silverrock. However they do not cover tires. I didn’t expect to replace all 4 tires on a car with 13000 miles.

I just recently sold my car to Carvana. It was a 2016 Mini Countryman. The reason that I chose Carvana was that they were the best offer that I received from online sites. It was simple. I posted a photo of my odometer, Title document, and driver's license. Based on they data they contacted me with the offer in about an hour. I accepted the offer and was given an appointment and location of where I should bring my car. I had the option of them picking it up at my home but my delivering it was faster.
As a first time customer, I was skeptical and expected some glitch to get in the way. There were no glitches. Everything went as promised. They constantly kept in touch with me regarding what I needed to bring and complete to finalize the deal. I delivered the car and had a check in my hand for the full amount about 15 minutes later. Totally impressed by their service level, efficiency, and integrity.

Carvana will show you pictures that are inaccurate online. The 5 foot x 4 -5 inch smudge could have happened during their shipment of the car to me but no one will take accountability nor will Silver Rock their insurance company cover cosmetic items. Also the tint from the windows were peeling off (about 25%). That was also not disclosed in the online images. This is why I feel that they sugar coat and brushed out damage in the online photos. Ultimately, I returned the car. They are supposed to pay to have the car returned. They would not give me a time range of 2 or 3 or 4 hours. They just gave me 20 minutes notice and I could not get home in time.
The driver had the front and back of my DL and my family was at home and also had the ID. He refused to take the car because I was not there. Had I been given a time range, I could have been there. I ended up hiring a private tow driver to take the car back to Carvana in Auburn which cost me almost $600.00 Carvana will not reimburse. If you've never tried Carvana, I highly suggest you try this service and skip the car dealership nightmare. I'll never buy from a dealer again. Not after seeing how easy it is. When I called to find out why, you told me I could no longer pick up my car on the day we had chosen - for which we had planned a special 3 hour trip. No one was apologetic for your mistake. I then went through the process and was given an amount I owed and said I would get a cashier's check - I went and followed all rules.
My order got cancelled again because you said it wasn't the right amount. I will admit I wasn't expecting anything better than going to a dealership. To my surprise it was even worse. Instead of screwing you over with added options, features, extended warranties, etc. they charge you a nonrefundable 2k shipping fee (unless you find a car in your area they have in stock). Take a "150 point" car check up to make sure there aren't any "imperfections" inside and out and they attach photos to show you. My truck had 2 "imperfections" - a chip on the door which was barely visible and a minor stain on the seat which wasn't even there. When I got it neither of them were. What I did find was a bashed in rear bumper, chipped tail light, tons and I mean tons of chips some the size of my thumb. And a gash the size of my entire hand on the front bumper THAT THE DELIVERY DRIVER DID THAT DAY.
Ironic they do a full walk through and check up before you get it. THAT'S WHY IT TAKES 2 WEEKS FOR IT TO GET TO YOUR HOUSE. Carvana said they would pay for the scratch the driver did but nothing else. I purchased the truck November 5th. Received it the 17th. I had to bring my truck into caliber collision on December 16th. It is the 31st and I still don't have my truck. I'm 24, I work for myself, run two businesses and made the mistake of trying something different. Now I'm losing money because of it because (silver rock) their insurance company apparently takes the longest on the planet to finalize and pay. My apologies for the long story. Not angry. Just hope I save someone else the trouble in the future. Live and learn as they say.

I bought a 2021 Tesla Model 3 (my dream car) from Carvana. Looked online and believed I had found the perfect option with Carvana as it had all the features I was looking for and seemed like a pretty good deal. The purchase went incredibly smoothly and I was excited to get it delivered the following week. The day of the delivery, my delivery driver called me to verify what I would need for the apt. Due to my delivery time (at night), I asked my driver if we should move the drop off location to a well lit parking lot so we could go over the car in detail to ensure everything was as listed on the site. My driver assured me that would not be necessary as carvana would cover any issues I found over the next 7 days during my “7day test drive”.
I was hesitant to believe this, but he reassured me that we were “on a recorded line” and ANY issues would be covered. Later that evening the truck showed up with my Tesla in tow. After doing an amazing job of unloading it off the truck, he let me take it for a spin around the block. Once back, I mentioned a couple things I had noticed about the car. One was the fact that the previous owner had left an unpaid charge on the car that I was going to be on the line for. The second was what looked like a possible rock chip in the windshield but I could not tell how bad it was as it was too dark. Knowing that my driver told me I could take pictures of any damage over the next 7 days and report it made me feel at ease though. The rest of the delivery process went smoothly.
The next morning I decided to take the car to the wash to get a clean look at it. As it was a very cold winter morning, I was excited to make use of the Tesla’s advertised heated steering wheel. (When I say advertised, it was one of the “key features” of the car. Carvana even highlighted the steering wheel in photos telling potential buyers how much they would love the heated steering wheel.) After about 20 minutes of trying to figure out how to turn it on in my driveway, I realized it in fact did not have one. This was a huge bummer as it was one of the big reasons I chose THIS Tesla. After the wash I was able to assess the windshield. There were two large rock chips in the center of the windshield, and one of them was spiderwebbing out about half an inch on either side.
After walking around the car, I noticed that the rear hatch of the vehicle was sitting noticeably higher than the roof frame (about an inch). I immediately jumped on carvana’s website to speak with an advocate. Within one minute of letting them know about the issues, they told me that the windshield would have been covered by their warranty, but since the delivery driver didn’t take any pictures or list it at the time of delivery, they would do nothing about it. After going back and forth about having talked to the driver about it, they still told me I would have to just make an insurance claim. Just what I wanted say one of owning a “new” car, my insurance to go up and be out a $500.00 deductible.
Regarding the heated steering wheel, the advocate said they would have to look and see if my “claim of it being listed” on the website was true. After verifying it was, they then came up with the excuse that it was listed on the car, but the vehicle was “priced without it”. During the entire conversation they continued to tell me that if I wasn’t satisfied with the car, I was welcome to return it. But they clearly know no one wants to lose out on their expensive delivery cost that the company takes from you if you return a car. The only repair they would consider looking into was the rear hatch of the car. This took over 6 days of calling carvana and being told someone would get back to me with a solution.
On day 6 of my “7day test drive” I called again and made a huge stink over not having a solution in place. Finally the rep told me I could take it to my local “repair shop” (I say this because they sent me to a tires plus) that was in network with their warranty company. After driving across town to tires plus, the “repair man” told me that they don’t work on teslas and I would have to call carvana back. After calling carvana back they informed me that as this could be seen in the photos on the site, they would not be covering it. This could not be seen in the photos unless you knew what you were looking for. Carvana also highlights “all” damage on the vehicles in their photos, and this was never mentioned or pictured.
Needless to say, nothing was repaired and I never received any money back for the lack of heated steering wheel (a $600.00 add on from tesla). I will never do business with this company again and would highly caution those considering doing so. They do everything they can to make sure they do not have to pay for anything after you take delivery of the vehicle. It’s a shame as I love the car otherwise, and the purchasing process was far easier than going into any dealership. Potential buyers beware!

Bought on 11/17 (car number 1). 1st estimated delivery 11/23. 2nd estimated delivery 11/30 (asked to pick new car or else delayed to 12/18) car number 2. 3rd estimated delivery 12/4 (car number 2) RETURNED tires were extremely dangerous, traction almost killed me, windshield wipers needed replacements immediately, and exhaust was not replaced properly. 4th estimated delivery 12/16 (car number 3). 5th estimated delivery 12/18 (car number 3). 6th estimated delivery 12/21 (car number 3). What I sent to BBB, the AZ and CT State attorney Generals: there is added dates since I've submitted this.
I've been dealing with Carvana since 11/17/24 and I have yet to get my car. I have officially made a claim to the BBB and my state's attorney general. My original date of delivery was on 11/23/24, got pushed to 1/30/24, got pushed to 12/4/24, got pushed to 12/18/24. THAT was when I finally got assigned a case manager and they suggested I chose a new car because only then did they let me know the delays were due to the car's AC/Heat were not working. Now I am on car #2 and delivery was expected to be on 12/6/24 and it got pushed to 12/9/24 due to a drive cycle not passing. My case manager is changing departments and my new case manager isn't event available to speak with me until Monday... the DAY OF MY "DELIVERY".
I called today and asked for answers regarding WHAT didn't pass on the drive cycle, WHY aren't they fixing that today (in my state government drive cycle centers are open on Saturday). The representative assured to "get excited" because my car was coming and I laughed. Just yesterday the driver called me, said he's be here soon with my car, then the delivery got rescheduled.
---------------------
Finally got the car, the tires were extremely worn and dangerous, the traction could have killed me driving in the rain, the windshield wipers needed to be replaced immediately and the exhaust was installed/fixed incorrectly. I retuned the car. Was told my next choice would be here in two days. That got delayed THREE TIMES.
Point blank, Carvana needs to stop over promising and under delivering. Maybe say "we can make this happen in one week" and people will be happy because that's realistic. You're dealing with fixing issues on cars from all over the nation and state wide mandates. Like what in the ACTUAL flip goes through your heads when promising these dates? It's impossible. Then you have all these lemon cars you're giving out because you manage to squeeze these crap cars through the time slots. Do better.

Buyer beware of imperfections not disclosed on Carvana’s description of cars. Carvana only disclosed one (1) rock peck on the driver door in their online ad for the car I purchased. Upon delivery, the car had rock pecks on the front bumper, right front fender, right mirror and truck lid. Some were touched-up (with a white paint that did not match….looks really poor) and the rest were left bare. When I contacted them, they told me to contact their warranty provider, SilverRock. I did just that and even sent photos. I was then contacted by SilverRock and they stated this was normal ‘wear and tear’ and they were going to do nothing about it.
I mentioned that Carvana failed to disclose these imperfections and they did not care. All I know is many cars that I reviewed on Carvana had noted imperfections stating “rock pecks or noticeable repair”. They failed to do so on the car I purchased. The least they could have done was to correct the problem, as a touch-up repair kit is only $150.

In May of 2024, I purchased the vehicle (2013 Buick Enclave) from Carvana, LLC (Defendant). The vehicle 1.) was sold without a front license plate bracket, which rendered it uninspectable, which is important because my state is a two-plate state, and at the time of purchase, I fully expected to be able to operate the vehicle with a valid inspection sticker, as required by state law. Due to the Defendant's actions, I have been stopped by law enforcement on two separate occasions and let off with a verbal warning for driving an uninspected vehicle.
2.) I then experienced a problem with a defective fuel pump which failed two or three days after Defendant's “100-mile warranty” expired due to exceeding the aforementioned 100-mile limit. And 3.) There is now an issue with an undisclosed oil leak coming from a defective rear main seal, between the engine and transmission, which will cost approximately $4000.00, and up to four (4) days to repair, which means that I will be sans transportation for a number of days as both the engine and transmission must be removed from the vehicle in order to repair the leak(s).

Nobody told me that the down payment never went through, I found out on my own by calling and saying “Where the hell is my car? THEN when I finally received my car there were FAR more scrapes, paint chips, etc. than mentioned on the “imperfections” part of the pictures for my vehicle. It never mentioned that the automatic trunk opener didn’t work, but guess what? IT DOESN’T WORK AT ALL!!!
The person who delivered it was over an hour late, and didn’t know what he was doing and NOBODY at Carvana did much to help him at all! I felt so bad for the poor guy, luckily he was beyond nice and was by far the best part of the whole experience. I bought a car from Carvana two weeks ago, and it’s been the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. When I contacted customer service to get the issue corrected, all I got was vague, unhelpful responses. They just kept telling me to use the 7-day return policy, but I didn’t want to return the car—I just wanted the problem fixed.
To make matters worse, they didn’t have another car of the same model available, and they’d already taken my truck as a trade-in, making it difficult to find a replacement. My experience with Carvana has been less than desirable. My husband has purchased 2 of his cars through them and had a great experience so I thought to give it a try. Although I will note he mentioned having significant trouble the second time around because they couldn’t figure out how to close out his loan on the first car and start financing on the new car — spent several hours on the phone with them.
They kept telling him he couldn’t start a new loan since he had an existing; not understanding that he was trying to trade. I attempted to buy a vehicle 4 months ago; approved, contracts, signed, delivery date set. However, my dad is on my title for my car I was trading in and they required him to be present for the trade. My dad lives in another state so I couldn’t have him there. Fine. Their policy, fair. I didn’t proceed with the purchase.
Now, during my second time around is where the experience became more difficult. I had to go through various verification processes that I wasn’t required to go through the last time. They wouldn’t accept my marriage license (which is the only type of document that is provided to you after you are married in the county in Texas I was married in) nor would they accept my passport as a government-issued ID. I had to speak to several people through chat and phone who none of which were on the same page, did not help to resolve the situation, or were simply rude.
I finally got someone on the phone one time that was helpful and was able to help me proceed. However, they lastly required an employment verification. They wouldn’t accept employment verification utilizing the processes my company provides such as MyWorkNumber even though that is exactly how Carvana verified my employment 4 months according to the report I pulled. They required to call my employer at a landline and were incredibly rude to my own manager. I was absolutely embarrassed.
While this is happening, Carvana provided no communication of their own even though they said they would. The car also fell off of my dashboard and wasn’t available to purchase so I had to call and have them add it back. Given this embarrassing experience, my husband and I went to a local dealer and I walked away with a brand new Bronco Sport that was of the same price as the used one I wanted to purchase, better APR and monthly, and none of the hassle that Carvana was trying to put me through. Never again will I buy a car with Carvana.

I recently purchased a 2024 BMW 5 Series with around 9,000 miles. The price seemed attractive, slightly below market value. The app was user-friendly and offered a 360-degree view of the car, inside and out. It highlighted areas with cosmetic issues, which was helpful. Since this was essentially a brand-new car, it appeared to be in excellent condition. However, when the car arrived, I immediately noticed several imperfections that weren’t disclosed. To make matters worse, it was delivered in a very dirty condition. When you’re spending close to $60,000 on a car, you’d expect it to arrive clean and presentable.
Upon closer inspection, I found a terrible paint job near the fuel door, with a rough texture that was glaringly obvious to the naked eye. Additionally, I noticed rust inside the air vent under the front windshield. How does something like this happen on a car this new? I called to cancel the order immediately. When the car was picked up, the driver himself commented on the poor condition and said he didn’t blame me for returning it. It felt like something was seriously wrong with this vehicle. I’m relieved I returned it and am now waiting for a full refund.

Where to start. 12/3 I found a truck I liked, went through your menus, decided to buy. Turns our your interest rate is like 8% and I had easy access to 5% with USAA, so obviously I went that route. The default delivery was next day, and I just went with it, not realizing it would be a problem. On the USAA side, the online loan application recommends NOT sending the check to dealer, which if you were nearby, wouldn't have been an issue, because I could hand it to you. So I did as USAA default advised and sent the check to me. Also I got like 800+ credit score, so 8% sounded not in line with my reliability.
The next day, I got a call in the morning asking for a check. I assume If I went with your financing at the higher rate next day delivery would have been easy, but paying thousands more in interest seemed silly. I told them I had to wait for USAA, they indicated it could be 48hrs for a check, and the rep kept threatening to put it back up for sale if I couldn't give them a check now. Eventually they settled on putting it on 72hr limbo.
Eventually USAA that friday gave me copies of check and fedex mailer, and that's when I learned you guys wouldn't be happy with a check that was mailed to me instead of you. I guess it's a no brainer, but again, USAA form warned against sending direct checks. Your call center wanted me to redirect the mailer to them. I called USAA, they said that coudln't happen, but offered to mail a new check. So I said they could do that, and they did, but they for whatever reason co uldn't give me a copy of the reissued check.
So the truck kept getting pushed further and further, resetting the time. On Monday it was delivered and signed for by Carvana, but your call center kept insisting you didn't have it and told me it could be 5 days before you recognized hat you do. I continued to try to get usaa to give me a picture, but they couldn't, and called/chatted with Carvana every day through Friday trying to get you to accept that you have the check.
On Friday the 13th, Usaa tells me Carvana deposited the check. But Carvana still insisted they hadn't even recieved it yet. And we were back to implying I was going to lose the chance for the truck because I couldn't take a picture of the check you guys had for 5 days. Out of sure frustration, because I didn't want to have to redo the whole loan and purchase process from square one (and likely with someone else due to headache) I looked up emails to write directly, because no one in the "Treasury department" would talk to me, no one would let me talk to them, and no one would take any effort to verify they had the check nor that it was deposited.
I eventually found a few emails that appears to be to the CEO, and wrote a letter explaining all this Friday, and later that day got a call from executive relations, who told me things were good to go, and I set up the delivery for Monday. On Monday I got the truck, things seemed mostly fine. Though the previous owner's info was still in the computer in the truck, including his cell phone info, sirruis radio log in, home address, and other personal information. I deleted everything that could be sensitive information.
Also I found all the floor mats were soaked... Like dripping wet. I assume from being shampooed? I had to bring them all in, set up a space heater and just let the, cook in my utility room, forming puddles of water as they dripped. I did message your chat at the time, and they very reluctantly gave me a "sorry" after about a 20 minute conversation.
Idk, I guess I thought maybe they'd start with an apology, or offer a car wash, or idk what I expected... Just some indication that they realize that was a mistake, and a gesture would have been nice. You know like when your pizza order gets botched and they give ya like a $5 credit. Granted I'm not sure what a floor mat equivalent is for a car. They just kept telling me "Well you can always return it in 7 days". And i'm just like.... No.. I'm not going to fricken return a truck because you couldn't be bothered to dry some floor mats.
All in all, if I had it to do over again I'd probably have bought from someone else. There probably should have been more flags to suggest the Truck needs to be in limbo until check arrives. I guess I would assume in todays day, USAA could literally just send you the money electronically, and not have to wait on a literal paper check, but I guess things don't move that way.
Also all your call center people either, none of them really wanted to make any effort at all to do anything to confirm you got the check. They just kept insisting I needed pictures of the check they already had. Just seems like much of this time, they could have had one person spend 5 minutes locating the cehck, and if you wanted pictures, just take the pictures yourself. I'm sorry things didn't go the exact process you guys wanted, but you made everything unnecessarily more difficult because it didn't fit into your cookie cutter process.
TLDR: I have no doubt if I did everything exactly the way Carvana wanted, this would have been super easy, but the whole time you guys threatened to cancel the order and sell the truck I already got the loan approved for. Then kept blaming USAA and refusing to take any effort to go even a little bit above and beyond. I don't know if my email was hte final thing that helped, sending to your CEO, or maybe that never reached anyone, but it wasn't until then anyone seemed put any effort in to resolve things. Still think you should have some sorta courtesy thing your chat can offer when people are unhappy other than just saying "You can always return the truck and go away"

It was advertised that it came with one. I mentioned this to the man who was handling my transaction. He literally told me not to worry, this happens all the time, scan the QR code on the paper he gave me and "Carvana will either reimburse you for a new one or pay to have one installed". I thought wow, that's great!
BASED ON THAT CONVERSATION, I drove the truck off the lot. Scanned the QR code that night, told them what happened, and essentially found out that the guy was full of it. Carvana told me they only offer up to $100 in reimbursements, and that it would take 10 to 15 days to process. After telling them what the guy said, they told me that I have two options...take the hundred dollars, or return the truck. The front bumper of my car was deemed “fixed” with repair work on the 150 point inspection, but wasn’t listed as an imperfection on the listing or noted in the carfax for repair work. Tried many times to get Silverrock to address the substandard repair work and after escalating to leadership they told me, in essence, to kick rocks because Carvana deemed this appropriate to sell technically by selling the car and then Carvana states that they have to stand behind Silverrocks determination. Which is extremely upsetting. I have two corporate giants who are supposed to view me as a valued customer and they’re in collusion to make sure they have each other's backs against paying out for damages that should have clearly been addressed. Love the car, hate the policies, politics, and games. I’d rather take my car to the dealership with peace of mind and pay exorbitant OEM prices than wait for days as my car sits in a Pep Boys lot. Have a great day!

This company needs to learn a thing or two about good service and human decency. They lack initiative, professionalism, responsibility and care for its customers. They are the true definition of greed. The multiple class Action Lawsuits are proof enough that this company has screwed a large group of people over. Just imagine the number of people who were uncomfortable or afraid to fight back that just accepted the unfair and unlawful service. Along with many many many others, I provided my trade in vehicle in a fair exchange for a Carvana vehicle. The delivery/pickup was conducted and I was left with a 90 day temp tag. Slightly concerning.... As 90 days is a long time to provide a customer with registration unless they already knew something was going to delay the process.
I called to maintain communication several times throughout those few months. No issues were brought to my attention. Now nearing the 90 day mark, I received nothing. No communication, no updates and worst of all I received attitude and lack of care by the service reps. I was told nothing will be done or negotiated until the plates officially expire. I then called in that morning of the expired plates with that complaint. They said they would now start to look into it.
At this point Carvana was telling me bridgecrest (carvana's partnering lender) had the title and needed to be given to the DMV, and bridgecrest was telling me that Carvana has the title and they need to provide it to the DMV. Both making it very clear that it's my responsibility to take it up with the other party and refused to communicate amongst each other to resolve the issue. It's a nice game they continued to play throughout this entire process where they point their finger to the other business partner and refuse to take responsibility or attempt to resolve the issue.
Now here we are weeks later, I received a call from a supervisor (finally), her name was Barbie and notified me that I was now in the system as her point of contact. I was essentially told that I was to speak with no one else besides her within the company. She notified me of an error in the contract that Carvana has made. Again, this is 4 months after purchase. What was being done during these 4 months to not have this recognized. She then said it would take weeks to correct and would result in a higher principal balance and monthly payment. I initially refused stating that I want my registration completed prior to signing any further contracts. This is when I was threatened with repossession and refusal to retrieve my trade in back.
With no way out of this debt and now down to 1 vehicle with 2 young kids, of school/daycare and 2 jobs, I was strong armed and hopeful that this lengthy process would soon be over. I agreed to sign the new contract with being told that all documents needed for registration are in hand and prepared to be 1st priority to complete registration. They lied again. Quickly after signature on the revised contract, they wiped their hands clean and told me I was on my own now with the DMV. I spent 3 appointments back and forth with the DMV while appointments were several weeks out each time. They notified me that all documents were not available and could not register. Also telling me that registration fees would now be needed upfront even though registration fees were rolled into the life of the loan.
This resulted in me refusing further vehicle payment and asking to be released from contract. The vehicle was later repossessed. Customer service representatives are quick to shout and hang up the phone, supervisors are not available other than call backs that are promised but never occur. Every department is "customer facing" and you are forced to speak with the service department that can't answer anything.

I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding the disastrous experience I have had with Carvana, SilverRock, and Chevrolet concerning the vehicle I purchased from Carvana. Over the past 15 months, I have endured constant delays, misinformation, and negligence, leaving me with a vehicle that has barely been drivable and has cost me significant time, money, and stress.
Summary of Issues: I purchased a vehicle from Carvana with only 40,000 miles under the assurance that it had been inspected and was in excellent condition. From the moment it was delivered, I have faced numerous issues that call into question both the quality of the vehicle and Carvana’s promises.
Delivery Problems: Delivery was canceled six times, each time with poor communication and no clear timeline. After finally receiving the vehicle, it was immediately clear that the condition was not as advertised. I decided to go with it until a couple days in I decided to take it to the shop as I got stuck in the car because the door was behind the fender due to body panels not aligned correctly.
Vehicle Defects Upon Delivery:
Exterior Issues:
Panels were misaligned, and there were visible gaps around the headlights.
Headlights have absolutely no visibility.
The front license plate holder was removed, revealing 15 massive screw holes in the bumper. Told bumper needs replaced although a clip is broken off that seemed to be glued together poorly so multiple panels would need replaced.
The "Grand Sport" logo fell off shortly after delivery, and replacements are no longer available.
A significant mark on the driver’s door, which was not disclosed in the listing. As well as scratches on roof and fading.
The auto adjust on the mirrors and seat didn't work. It would unadjust every time.
A panel near the headlight was sticking up completely broken. The whole panel would need replaced.
The driver’s door hits the front fender, causing me to get trapped in the car multiple times. It sometimes goes away if I drive it and hit a bump. No shop has been able to fix it. Maybe frame damage?
The driver’s door is flimsy and missing a key component. As well as the whole interior panel is lose according to the shop due to an accident.
Car has been repainted according to the shop as you can see the overspray on the door panels.
Some of this stuff I was not able to see with them until it was moved back to the better shop although that's when my warranty was up but most were already seen and not gotten to yet due to the extent of the other issues in play.
Mechanical Issues:
Catalytic converters became clogged. $5K out of pocket.
Motor mounts needed replacement.
A pulley broke off unexpectedly.
The A/C stopped blowing cold.
Belt squeaks but no sign of wear.
Replaced coil packs. $400 out of pocket.
Cleaned fuel rails discount because the good shop it was at felt bad.
The front end makes a popping noise when turning.
A persistent fuel smell due to a faulty fuel cell. Needed replaced. Warranty company won't cover.
Gas gauge issues.
Was told ECU on dash is bad. Never heard back from Chevrolet with the parts. That was 8 months ago.
Carvana told me the reason the car delivery took so long was because they had to replace the ECU. As someone that knows cars it's important to reprogram the ECU to the fuel and air ratio of the specific car. After asking over and over with customer support on who did it so I can confirm they would give no info at all. They said it gets shipped to an outside company they are not in contact with in in way once it goes there. Saved screenshots of that.
Electrical Failures:
The dash ECU malfunctioned, which prevents mirrors and seats from returning to preset positions.
Memory settings for mirrors and seats fail due to electrical problems.
Interior Problems:
Steering column failure.
Seat rails needed replacement.
The driver’s door lock frequently fails, preventing me from exiting the vehicle.
Repair Timeline: The timeline of repairs has been a nightmare due to Carvana’s incompetence and the mishandling of claims by their warranty company, SilverRock. Carvana and SilverRock moved my vehicle without consent, wasting months of time. At one point, the vehicle sat outside for 30+ days before being evaluated only reason I found out was I went to pick up something. Then again I went and also never moved. Another time I showed up car was being driven around. As I was looking for it the car was gone for over 15 minutes as the inspector went driving it and that's when I showed up. I have no idea how long he was driving it before. They gave me the car back one time with 2 miles left on the tank which is terrible for the vehicle itself including motor and fuel system.
A shop initially identified a misfire, but SilverRock moved the vehicle to Chevrolet, who claimed there was no misfire. Seven months later, Chevrolet reversed their position and confirmed the misfire but claimed it was no longer covered under warranty. I have spent over $6,000 out of pocket for repairs, with 90% of the issues still unresolved. and the rest I've been notified of when I finally moved it back to the shop I didn't want to move it from. Throughout this process, I was forced to constantly follow up with Carvana, SilverRock, and the shops involved, as communication was practically nonexistent. The delays were largely caused by SilverRock’s slow approval process and Chevrolet’s inconsistent diagnoses.
Warranty Failures: Despite having an active warranty at that time, SilverRock and Carvana tried to take up as much as the time possible. While some stuff related still not fixed. The warranty’s coverage was supposed to ensure peace of mind, but instead, it has been nothing but a source of frustration. I’ve driven this car for less than 500 miles over 15 months, while repair shops have put on more miles than I have. I have spent countless hours on calls, emails, and follow-ups, trying to resolve issues that should have been handled by Carvana and SilverRock. The financial burden has been overwhelming, with thousands of dollars spent on repairs for a car that is still not functional.

On top of that they showed me a picture of the shocks, one of the shocks in the front was completely shot. $707 to repair both because these were not covered with Silver Rock. Surprise surprise. Carvana is not the best choice. You cannot see the vehicle and have to rely on their description. At end August my car was totaled. I work and thought Carvana would be a great choice and could save me time. First choice car I realized they were adding over 2k “delivery fee” to get it to Mission Valley. Next one sounded like it had more miles than I wanted but was in great shape. I put half down. I got there and realized it had A Lot of cosmetic issues. It needed 4 software updates and had a recall on airbags in front. They claim a 7 day money back guarantee BUT would not issue it for about 2 weeks.
I had to be at work at 630 AM the next morning. So I took the car. I had to take it to the dealer for the updates and airbag repair. Knowing what I know now I would have gone back to Carnax to buy. Next time - I will. What was wrong? Pitted paint all over the hood, a large dent in the window frame, a chip out of driver door paint - the only thing mentioned in the description. There were other things but those are the glaring insufficiencies.

I spoke to a customer service manager, and he, John is his name, he said he wouldn’t buy from Carvana. And he even works there. They are terrible. It was poor customer service. Difficult navigating the website. Items they don’t want you to use but they have to include them like the button for using your own financing instead of Carvana's, is hidden in light blue font smaller than all other types on the page. I ended up using my own financing because their financing terms were so ridiculously high and they gave me a very low price for my trade. I am canceling my order with them because of the second delay in delivery and because I now realize how much better of a deal I can get elsewhere.
Do not use Carvana. You’ve been warned! Carvana is the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. They have no respect for the customer. They canceled my delivery eight minutes before the delivery. One of which I was able to drive it and try it and the other 4 days it's been getting bounced around repair shops since it arrived with a fuel injector spraying gas all over the motor. I purchased this car so my child would be safe in it but instead It ended being dangerous to drive.
This resulted in me missing work for 2 days at $270 a day plus $50 for an Uber and don't forget to mention the gas money that literally got wasted. Here I am day 8 of "ownership" and still don't have a car so you tell me how it's going. Oh and by the way I feed 7 kids out of my own pocket and this took a huge hit because I bought a "good inspected vehicle" and let's not even say it was a minor overlooked item as I'm not a mechanic and found the leak in 30 seconds because gasoline has a very distinct smell.

The bank rejected the check because the routing number, and the account number were not completely visible on the check and therefore it was not valid. I returned home, the driver had already loaded my car on the truck. I stopped him and told him not to leave until I got the issue of the invalid check resolved.
I was on the phone for over an hour with an associate who assured me that a replacement check would be issued within 48 hours and sent overnight to me. I called today after the 48 hours and talked to another associate who told me that the company policy was to issue replacement checks within 5 business days, and what the previous associate told me was incorrect. Well, the vehicle sat around in a dirty warehouse or whatever for an extended period of time so the slime, scum, and tarnish that brillo pads were required to get off of it. It smells like ** too, 4 days with everything off of the jeep and my deep cleaning the carpet, seats, dash and all exterior.. I've already began building it and spent the money for the parts or I would have given it back to you.
I deserved better than that.. One more thing, you replaced the drive tires and left a flat spare on the rear, and I mean dry rotted unable to hold air or pass your supposed test. They point out two spots in the ad that say "minor scratches". Well, take a look do those look minor? Like I said, if I didn't already have all of the parts and no patience you would have your Jeep back. I was assured there would be no issue with my warranty even though I would be outside of the 14-day window they had told me about (they waive the deductible in the first 14 days).
When I took the car in to the service center they found that the alignment was so bad (this is one of the 14 issues I originally notified Carvana of) was so bad that two of the tires were worn down to the threads on the inner shoulders of the tires. 13 of my 14 issues were not covered despite the fact ALL of them should have been flagged and fixed by their 150 Point Inspection. My out-of-pocket costs for repairs will be well over $3000 for items that should have been repaired before the car was listed for sale. Do your own due diligence and don’t trust the I spectuo report or anything any of the customer reps tell you if there’s any doubt you’ll be outside of 1,000 miles or 30 days when your claim is started (claim isn’t started by notifying them of any issues, you MUST take the car to an in-network repair center to have a claim started).

Carvana delivered and picked up my car on the exact day they said they would. The delivery driver was very nice and helpful, and guided new through the setup of my car. Most of all their price on the car and the money they gave me for my trade in could not be beat! I would highly recommend Carvana for your next car purchase!

Absolutely terrible. Received vehicle and call one of their preferred shops on day 3 because I noticed some rust on the muffler. They couldn’t get me in until day 6. Was told that there were some things that needed to be fixed but nothing major and that Silver Rock would have to approve additional testing. I kept the car thinking everything was minor. After the additional testing was done come to find out It was leaking oil and coolant and had been for sometime even though my car was certified and a 150 inspection was done. Let the shop there wasn’t even enough coolant to test and had been leaking for a while. Is stated on the CARFAX that my truck had been in a Ford dealership shop two days before delivery, I contacted the shop to find out why they had the vehicle and what was done to it and they refuse to give me any information and told me that Carvana could get that from them and then they could give it to me.
I spoke to three managers. All told me that there was nothing they could provide me, even though it was supposedly certified there were no paperwork, and they refuse to contact the dealership to tell me what was done. An executive manager called me and read the stuff that was fixed when the inspection was done, which was front end driver side in the hood, but yet the truck was never supposed to be in a wreck or that was never disclosed. I asked about the coolant and he stated that everything checked out fine, which again part of the shop and pictures that were taken that’s not possible. The warranty would only pay for half of what needed to be done because the rest wasn’t 100% faulty. I’ve spoke to four different managers.
The executive manager told me that he would pay for $300 worth of what I had to pay out-of-pocket for the shop which if you ask me is disgusting that they can admit fault and pay for half of your damages, but not all of them. I’ve had my car since October 26 and it’s already been in the shop twice for timing chain, spark plugs, engine coil and something else resulting in 23 days in the shop. I am still waiting on my reimbursement for my rental car that I could have for MAX 10 days and you have to pay upfront. Almost 800 out of pocket at the shop to have things that if an inspection had actually been done would have been caught. I have lost out on countless shifts at work right before Christmas because I didn’t have a vehicle to get me there.
I have called several times and talked to several managers and it disgust me they tell people that they want you to feel safe and secure when you by a certified vehicle from them and that you can contact them anytime and get additional information but dear God if it’s something that they have covered up or you have proof of their lies they will completely shut you down. I had an executive manager read me everything that they fixed but refused to provide me with the information. The other manager told me through chat 3 times which dear God copy and paste every conversation you have with them because they delete after a day or two. She told me they didn’t have any further information and I kept telling her the guy's name and number from the ford dealership that Carvana took it to and she again refused to do.
They are very crooked and btw Carvana and the bank they use and silver rock are all owned by the same people. Please please do not buy a vehicle from them and if you have to take it directly to be checked out and pay the deductible to take it to someone you trust. Their preferred shop also quoted me at 2550 out of pocket but as soon as I started suing Carvana they realized they mistakenly had ordered the incorrect parts and the correct parts were only 650. The only positive part of my experience was dealing with the girl that delivered it. The rest of it has been the worse headache and for someone who is a single parent that works 60 hours a week I am in a worse bind now than I was before purchasing. So they say third goal is to make sure you have peace of mind when it comes to your new ride. Dear God run and absolutely go somewhere else or please have it checked out before your 7 days!!

I traded my 2017 RAV4 in for a 2024 RAV4 with Carvana & had a totally seamless experience! Everyone I interacted with was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and so nice. This was the easiest experience I have ever had when buying or trading. I definitely plan to use Carvana in the future if / when I need. Thank you all so much!

Carvana is absolutely wonderful. My wife and I got the car we wanted with a completely online process. Our new Kia Sorento SX was delivered exactly where we requested during the time frame we chose. I have only positive things to say about them. Forget about physical dealerships and Go with Carvana!

I absolutely love the entire car shopping experience with Carvana. I searched with certain filters to find my car. Once I found my car the application process began and that was seamlessly easy as well. I was approved, paid my down payment and my car was dropped off within days. The person that dropped my car off was very professional and nice to speak to. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase from carvana.

CARVANA is a SHADY and DISHONEST business and it will end up costing you time and money that you are trying to save by purchasing from them. I purchased a vehicle that will not pass a state of mass inspection for many reasons and they refuse to do anything about it. Their 150 point inspection is imaginary and a total lie. They get vehicles trade-ins and even purchase vehicles from other dealers and just flip them as is. Instead of taking vehicles to auction they cannot sell they just sell them to Carvana and save auction fees. Ask your local dealer about it they will tell you!!
Do not purchase their Silver-rock warranty it’s also a scam they cover absolutely nothing. Just a big money grab for them. I am now stuck with $5000 worth of repairs and can’t drive vehicle. Read the bad reviews those are legit and accurate. The good reviews are ppl they pay or their own employees. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Do your research and save yourself the disappointment of a lifetime.

Overall was a decent experience. However, I'm not happy the car was damaged by your transport team (prior to reaching Lenoir City, who drove it to me in Crossville) and I'm stuck arguing with your insurance team - I shouldn't have to be doing this. There's damage (front spoiler or air splitter) on the car that wasn't shown/articulated in the listing of the car. Not a great way of concluding the customer experience. Your advocate who drove the car to me (because they couldn't get it on the rollback truck due the Shelby's ride height) was awesome and very helpful.

This is the third vehicle I have purchased through Carvana. It is so easy and hassle-free, that is why I will continue to purchase here. Thank you for making life easy. Your website is so easy to use, and with the different filters, I can reduce the number of vehicles I see. The whole process took only a few sit-downs.

Several issues were not disclosed in the car's profile online, and I was disappointed to find them upon delivery. Visible Scratches: There are clear scratches on the doors, the passenger side frame, and the rear bumper. These were not mentioned in the vehicle's listing. Windshield Issue: There is a large amount of sticky glue residue on the driver’s side of the windshield, which should have been removed before delivery. This is a major distraction while driving. SilverRock was swift to tell me that these issues are not covered and I am sure that is why Carvana did not disclose them. If it is "acceptable wear and tear" seems even more shay to hide them and not clear the windshield of the gunk. Fuel Level: Additionally, I was expecting the car to be delivered with a full tank of gas, this was not the case, and it would have been a nice touch to receive the vehicle with a full tank considering all the other defects I was surprised to find.

Title: Horrible Experience with Carvana - Avoid at All Costs! I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Carvana. From the start, it felt like I was being treated as an employee rather than a customer, with unreasonable deadlines and demands that were impossible to meet. It was as if I was negotiating for a loved one being held hostage, with constant pressure and threats if tasks weren't completed on time.
Despite my best efforts to meet their demands, I inadvertently missed multiple deadlines. When I finally thought I had completed the last task correctly, I was scolded for not doing it right. After taking time off from my actual job to send the correct item, I was informed that the car I wanted had been sold out from under me. When I complained, Carvana attempted to push me towards another car, but this time they wanted to charge an un-refundable shipping fee. It felt like they were just trying to run off with my money without any intention of selling me a car. I have lost all trust in Carvana and would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from them to look elsewhere. Their customer service is abysmal, and the entire process is a nightmare. Save yourself the headache and avoid Carvana at all costs!

I tried to sell my van through this company and I was initially offered $26,000 for it. I did all the paperwork and then got an email saying that they were only willing to pay $300 for it after being approved for $26,000. I CANNOT REPLACE THE TIRES FOR $300.

Don’t buy from Carvana, bought a car in September from them. Worked for a month and broke down. Just got the car back last week and it broke down again yesterday. They are knowingly selling lemons, when I went to pick it up I had to wait for almost 4 hours longer because they said “they forgot to have it inspected and they had to drive it around to charge the battery.” That should have been the red flag.
I fell I love with the jeep. When I got into the car it drove good till the first car payment was due. A week after my car broke down a friend of mine his jeep he bought from them broke down. I have spent almost $2,500 in car rentals in the past two months. They obviously do not inspect the cars before they sell them, the mechanic said they should have never sold it in its condition. Carvana would not do anything 'cause it was after the 7 days (how convenient). Their insurance company is also getting screwed 'cause they have to pay for these repairs which is over $10,000 on a $16,000 car. Do yourself a favor and buy from a local dealer!!!

I purchased recently as a first time through something like this. Had the car delivered and the process was very simple. I have only one complaint and that’s how dirty the car was on the inside. It looked as if it was just wiped down and not fully detailed. I would expect a car to be fully detailed as to give you the full effect and experience upon delivery. Even a dealership would not send a car off the lot this dirty.

Worst experience possible. I was sold a car where the tires were out of balance, rotors warped, and the entire undercarriage was rusted and then spray painted over to hide it! This was a fraudulent transaction. This car was not inspected or if it was someone horrifically failed at their job. This car was unsafe to drive. The steering wheel was misaligned and pulled to the right if you turned the wheel straight. And since this car is not safe to drive I have it scheduled to be picked up and returned. I was given a 12 hour return window of when the car would be picked up. 12. Never purchase from this company. They are not taking any responsibility.

This company is dishonest. I noticed that the windshield was cracked after picking up the vehicle the night before. They told me that if I seen anything to let them know in the morning because when I picked the car up it was so dark and no one had a flashlight and the lighting wasn’t the best. When I reached out to them the next morning to address my concerns, I was told that it should have been addressed the night before. I asked for them to do a further investigation because that’s not what I was told before I left the dealership, they told me that they were looking into it and would give me a callback. I reached out to them every day and no one ever reached back out to me, by the end of the week, no one has reached out to me, and it was too late to return the vehicle. Later I find out that they sold me a vehicle with a restricted key.
This was my first time purchasing a Volvo so I did not know that it was different colors to the keys. When I try to do stuff with the car I was told that I only had limited Access due to me not having the main key, when I reached out to Carvana to let them know that they sold me a car with restrictions on the key. They basically said that’s my problem and I have to pay for it. How do you go about selling a vehicle with a Key that only has limited access, they did nothing to help. Please beware of this company.

I tried to get the online Chat-Bot to allow me to pick up the car 1 day early due to no available appointments before 4 days after order approval. They said no and would not provide a phone number to a live person. After pressing since I paid $31K in full for the car which deducted from my bank account on Monday morning. Yet they would not allow me to pick up until Wednesday. Then during pickup, the Carvana turntable jammed and I had to wait almost another 1 hour after check-out to be given the car.

Do not buy, they say now almost a month after purchase they do not do two person registration, I requested a handicap tag transfer, in that process they could not because our jeep was in our names, so they did not reach out to me to give me customer service and processed instead in just my name, regular tag, now the only thing I can do to get her handicap tag is to go through the cost of refinance and then the cost of a new registration. They have no customer service or consideration. Not a good deal. Hours and hours of my work and huge expense for me to correct the problem that could have been prevented with a simple call from customer non existent lazy customer no service.
