I've known of CarGurus for quite a long time. Once we agreed on the price, I went to drop it off, they did an inspection within like 15 minutes, and then within another 20 to 25 minutes, I was out of there. I liked the price offered. It was pretty simple. The easier everything is to do, the better it is. It was good.

Way too much back and forth texts when I simply asked for someone to call. Made for an unpleasant experience. Just stop. This is another part of my life that I can't be bothered with. Too much phony baloney garbage.

I talked with Phil the Service Representative and he was a huge help and got me in touch with the dealer. He was super chill, and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I went through your website to get pre-qualified and credit ran pre-approved by Westlake only to be told that it's not a real approval, and now I have to go to the deal to do another "real" application. This is a false advertisement and fraud. I REALLY HATE HAVING MY TIME WASTED.

Right out the gate they were how would I describe it well kinda like family. They really took their time answering my questions. I really wish I knew who it was I was texting but whoever that person was deserves a raise for sure!! ;) Just sayin!! This place is Fire people. They got great deals on newer vehicles. The only reason I gave one last star is because no one is there to talk to me about the car that I'm interested in. But something did respond to me I don't know if it's an AI with a name for a person with the name who doesn't really know that much about the car as the dealer does. But I appreciate what text messages I did get. Thank you.

Poor service. Couldn't answer question without being a sales lead. That's ok. I don't need your bad service. I can buy on my own without giving my name and info to everyone. Lousy experience. I wish I was able to do zero stars! This company and the dealership is misleading and completely lied about the vehicle I was trying to get. On the deal that they sent me said nothing about I wasn't approved! I found out after I called and wanted to know what was going on. The dealership on the other hand was horrible at first, wouldn't answer the phone or even get back to me via email or text. Until I left a bad feedback. Then you would have thought I told them that I wanted to buy the whole parking lot of cars.. I won't be using car gurus ever. I hope someone reads this and thinks twice before using this company.

Unfortunately the online prices do not at all match dealer prices when you arrive. Prices are very much inflated once you arrive to view a vehicle and attach on additional fees. If not they tell you the vehicle is no longer available yet. You continue to see it on the website.

Questions were answered and quick response as well. Phil was easy to work with. And he reached out to the dealer for me. It made the process super easy. This review is for customer service text chat. My Experience was mostly positive. Initial contact was confusing because I wasn’t sure if I was talking to a computer or a person. The wait time was very long; so long in fact I didn’t realize that I was still waiting. The representative was helpful, but ended our conversation while I was in the middle of chatting with her. If you’re a dealership, stay away from this company. Sleazy is a pretty accurate term. They give you a price and tell you that it won’t increase. But sure enough they raise it substantially. I cancelled and then they posted my inventory a few months later without my permission. This led to leads that we couldn’t reach the clients that supposedly messaged us. There is a strong chance that this was a ploy to try and get me to pay their inflated price.

Do not buy on Cargurus if don’t have to. The SUV I picked out had the price and said delivery is included. I live 3 1/2 hours away from this dealer so I opted to have it delivered. So once I worked out the deal with the dealer and I had financing ready to going I said to the sales rep when would I expect delivery. There was a long pause and the nice lady from the dealer said they do not deliver. I would have to show up in person. I said cargurus is advertising this vehicle as being delivered and she said I would have to take that up with cargurus. Needless to say I didn’t accept the deal. I should have went with Carvana.

I am not always happy with the app as it tends to show the same vehicle more than once while scrolling but when I decided to text a dealership and it had me text thru the Car Gurus automated system I was really impressed by how user friendly it is. The responses didn't take too long and for the question I had it actually responded accordingly even though it wasn't a preset question. It also shot me over to a live customer service representative right away. I was blown away by this as most company's don't have many live agents and people are left to argue with bots. So very, very nice touch. It's nice to see that this company understands the importance of communication and real customer service. Dealers and buyers alike get a great experience. And the guy who helped me was very warm and helpful even thru a text. So just wanted to say awesome job to everyone in all departments of your company. Well executed.

Recently I was looking for a mini van and found one with the specifications I was looking for. What a surprise when I got to the dealer: since the vehicle was used, it was not possible to finance it. The dealer was charging fees that CarGurus had not published. The vehicle description said it was AWD, but after I had already bought it, I realized it was FWD. This is not the first time I have used this site to search for a vehicle, but due to this incident, I doubt I will use it again.

My chat was quickly directed by the virtual assistant to the necessary person. The wait time was actually less than the estimated 5 minutes. Then the real person who responded answered my questions and gave me options in the form of links. Jeffrey was very polite and efficient. He also contacted the dealer to get back to me.

It was terrible. Nothing got accomplished. I will not refer your company to anyone, good luck. I must have written at least 7 times. No one could find the car then said it was a computer malfunction, really?. There's got to be an easier way to talk with you all to find the vehicle.

The website is easy to navigate and chatting with an agent was quick. The prices that are listed for the vehicle (Hyundai Kona SEL) that I want is way less than the MSRP, so listed as a great price. We'll see if the dealership accepts the offer that I made. I will update my review once the negotiations with the dealership are complete. My spouse used CarGurus to purchase his vehicle and the transaction with the dealership was easy, his vehicle was previously owned and the vehicle that I'm hoping to purchase will be new.

I needed to sell my car fast because we moved out of the country and I couldn’t take it with me. I looked at Carvana, but my friend sold his at the same time through CarGurus, so I just went through there as well.
The website was very easy to use. I sent the request for a quote, and I got that really fast. Then the car dealership called me almost immediately to schedule an appointment.
I met with one guy, Collin, who was with the Germain Honda dealership. He was very personable and helpful, and he seemed to know his stuff, so he was easy to work with. It was a very easy process from start to finish. They gave me a check right there at the dealer when I dropped my car off.

The man I spoke to was very helpful. He helped me decide if the car I was looking at was a good car for me. I was very happy with the customer service provided. It was a beautiful car with great detailing. The previous owner took great care in maintaining this car. However, I decided not to pursue purchasing the car. I think there is someone else out there that is more capable of purchasing that type of car.

I am actively searching for a vehicle to purchase simply following the prompts on Carguru but apparently someone feels like I'm wasting their time, because they pointed out that I have reached out about 3 different vehicles. Your system is set up to sent text messages regarding vehicles that the consumer is interested in. Sorry to have bothered your staff so much. Perhaps you can have a person who is interested in selling cars, and who doesn't mind helping me through the process, to contact me to coordinate a time for test driving.

I feel mislead because I thought everything was done through drive time and they would deliver the car to me. Their advertising is not honored. I’m a first time buyer so I went with their company. Gerry Wood wouldn’t ever consider me because I’m a first time buyer. How do you get credit when people want a chance to show people you can honor their contract!

CarGurus was like a one-stop shop and it gave me several quotes. It eliminated a lot of this pricing out through other dealerships. Their platform was seamless. I just put the information in and it spits out four or five estimates and you just choose the one you wanna go with or check with.
I got a little more than I was expecting from one of the dealers involved. Not a whole lot more, but a little bit, probably around 2–3% more, and it worked awesome. The dealership gave me exactly what they quoted.

I’ve posted on CarGurus before, and I had success, but now it's been kind of bad. The entire platform is not the same now. They're working for the dealerships, offering me less money for my vehicles now, so I'm not happy with that. They will buy my same vehicle from me for cheap and then put it on the lot for four grand more.
CarGurus is a good platform to look for vehicles. Now, the sale, I don't think so. Unless you have a car that’s paid for. But if you have a car that you finance, don't ever go through CarGurus or any other car auto trade or any of that stuff because they're offering it with the dealerships. They're not representing us.

Quick and easy. Chat was useful and straight to the point. I inquired about a particular vehicle and was provided with availability and advised the dealer would contact me. There was no superfluous interaction. IN other words, I wasn't inundated with pointless or irrelevant questions.

When I was trying to get info of a car suddenly disappeared the vehicle I was looking and couldn't find it anymore, and the page refresh by itself, initially it was giving me all info right when it just start asking for a 8-9 digit number to identify the car and when I went back it was a total different list of Tahoes.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. It sounds like there may have been a technical issue with the page refreshing.

Yes they took care of me right. My problem I can't hear a conversation in so I rather use email. But finally a service rep took all my information thaT was needed. I live Youngtown so I will have drive to Tucson tomorrow then that is really a good buy. Also it has low mileage and it's a 4 wheel drive. I been looking for almost 6 months. Finally I found something I like. It has been taken care by the last owner cause real good shape. A new is really expensive. This been new to.me.

The only thing I did not like was the dealership didn't get back to me in the few hours that they were still open before closing so I called them and they didn't seem very helpful to me so I just going to pass on the vehicle I was thinking about trying to purchase.

We bought a Honda Odyssey from a dealership in New Jersey through CarGurus and I will NEVER do it again. I was nervous as it was to order something offline, without driving it first. But Larry our dealer did everything I asked him by taking pictures and recordings of the van. Due to the weather, I understood that it shipped out late. But instead of it taking 2 days to get to me, it took a week. My “tracking app” NEVER worked, so I never knew where my vehicle was. The shipping company never communicated with me first, when I would reach out to them my delivery date or time would change. I was trying to make it easier for them to meet me at Walmart, because I live down a narrow street.
Though the time kept on changing, and when it changed from 12-1 am I asked them to drop it off at my house. It was 11:30 and I still (like normal) never heard from them so I tried to call the dispatcher and texted me and asked if I could text him. I asked him where my van was and after 20 min he finally texted me and told me they wouldn’t be at my house until 3 AM, so he told them to drop it off between 6-7 am at my house. If I never communicated with them, I would have stayed up all night wondering when these guys were going to drop off my car. Then I received a call and a text at 8, saying the guys were waiting for me at Walmart? I then had to wake my husband up, that worked the night shift before to meet up with the guys at Walmart.
They were a TERRIBLE communicating shipping company. Then I had my van, my husband drove it home and the next day I tried to drive it and it wouldn’t start. We finally got it jumped took it to a shop and the battery was junk. The windshield wiper motor was broken, because whoever had it last put the wrong windshield wiper fluid in it and it froze. And the rotors and brakes were completely shot. I called Larry, the guy who sold me this van and told me well that the battery wasn’t covered under warranty anymore, I stated “Well when buy something online, had it shipped to me and already had a lot of trouble just getting my van, I EXPECT my battery to work and not need to be replaced as soon as I get it.”
He then just gave me his manager's phone number, instead of speaking to me nicely and understanding why I was upset. The manager did say that they would cover the cost of the battery, though we sent him the receipt a week and a half ago and we still have not been refunded for it. I will never do this again, I had a terrible experience and I will not encourage ANYONE ELSE to buy off of CarGurus either.

I used CarGurus to sell a car. The online portion of the process was easy, and overall communication through the platform was fine. However, I was not happy with the car dealership and the way they handled the situation. At the beginning, they offered me a certain price online, but when I brought the vehicle to their dealership, they put it on a computer and showed me a printout claiming there were things that were wrong with the car, so they reduced their offer. The car was my 90-year-old mother’s vehicle with only 40,000 miles on it. I needed to sell it because I didn’t want her driving anymore, so I agreed to the lower offer. The car was sold the very next day, even though they had said it had all these problems. It felt like it was all a ruse to reduce the price.

When CarGurus gave us a bid for my Cadillac, it was higher. They showed online around $7,425. But when I got to a Ford place, it was $2,500 less than what they showed on the system. They only gave me $5,000, which I thought was pretty low.
They hadn’t seen the car yet when they gave the estimate online. The car was in great shape. The only issue was the console where the coloring had rubbed off some because of the vinyl. When the person who looked at the car came out with $5,000, I said, “You’re kidding me. That’s a nice-looking car and I’ve taken care of it.”
He said the console was an issue and that they might have to put tires on it. He also said they’re going to pick it to death because it's used when they get ready to sell it. I told him to go back and ask for $6,000. But he came back within about 30 seconds and said no. I doubt he even went and asked.
He just bada bing bada boom. He didn’t do a lot. He just drove it and came back in. He wasn’t that willing to work with me, but I guess that’s what you do.In the end, I went with the $5,000 because I just wanted to get rid of the car and needed the money to put toward another car.

We got the best deal when we sold our vehicle through CarGurus. They had great customer service, and our sales rep, Kate, was excellent. I had no clue what CarGurus is all about to me. If you're looking for a new or used vehicle make model year they have it. If not they will find it. Everyone on the same page just knowing all the dealership to locate a vehicle for a customer if they didn't have that special vehicle in their lot.

I've seen 4 cars so far from this site (2 at 1 place). And every one has lied about the cars to some degree. 1st car was at Bloomfield Hyundai and was a WRX STI that had no catalytic converters and was leaking oil. Also I put a 1000 dollar deposit down to think it through, 2 weeks later they sold the car and still have not gotten my deposit back. Second was GMC dealer in Randolph, they claimed the wrx sti there was stock and was not. 3rd the CARAFX had the car as a total loss that they were trying to change. Your website is solid but the dealers do whatever they can to get you there.

After a week shopping at at least 5 Hyundai dealers in LA market -'z. All have 3 to 5 affed items to the Gurus leading quotes!! I find this now..quite annoying & problematic and near to False advertising! I intend to report this to Hyundai new President and regional offices in Fountain Valley, CA. Very misleading pricing- so I will be using Amazon direct pricing for my New car!

I sold my 2024 Honda CRV and chose CarGurus after exploring several options online. My primary goal was to settle my financing, and CarGurus connected me with Victory Motors, which provided an acceptable offer. Although the final offer I received was slightly less than what was initially proposed online, it was still more competitive than the offers from other dealerships, including the one I originally bought the car from.
Overall, my experience with CarGurus was satisfying. The offer, although lower than anticipated, was better than others, and the process was smooth. I was pleased with the usability of the CarGurus website and the customer service I received at Victory Motors. I would recommend using CarGurus based on my positive experience.

Great search engine for preowned vehicles. A dealer I bought from was awesome. Scot was the bomb. Paperwork was fast and easy also. I believe Diane was in charge of that. She did the title, transfer the paperwork, printed a temporary tag. I would say within no more than 15 minutes I was done and out of there. I will plan to shop there again for another vehicle at some point in time, I will refer my friends and family there also.

Detailed information on search of specific vehicles, pleased that out of state vehicle information was easy to obtain, would prefer more total detailed photo coverage of all vehicles listed and shown, especially vehicle's I'm interested in that are states away from me, with me being specific and having high expectations of my choice of vehicles I expect an exceptional amount of information and detail about all vehicles I'm interested in, with anyone searching for an expensive purchase all details of the vehicle's in question should have extremely intensive photos taken so no physical area of vehicle question is overlooked.

I recently sold a vehicle using Car Gurus after searching online for the best platforms. They seemed to promise more profit compared to other options. My overall experience with the platform was good, as it looked nice, though at times it felt somewhat outdated compared to others.
The dealership staff were friendly and quickly assessed my car. However, the offer was lower than what Car Gurus initially estimated. It's very easy to apply for a loan like this company. Great online services and they do credit check online. Best company gets a five-star reveal with me. Looking for available SUV for Long Island I only have much to month cash for a vehicle. I want to fix income of a salon and husband to support. Cut down payment and low payment plan available.

Info supplied was very helpful before test driving. Instant connection with seller. Getting final description of the condition of jeep made my decision to visit seller and test drive vehicle. Haven’t seen the car yet. Feel it’s overpriced but may be worth negotiating. Most of the car guru pictures don’t show the shock mount sills and usual rust spots. Also please let us know if there’s a carfax. It would have been nice to see the top up also. I definitely like the car but think it’s 2000 over priced. They also didn’t discuss what prep work they did with the car.

I’ve bought three cars through your site in the past. It seems as if dealers are playing the system and putting prices that don’t reflect the total. I looked at two different vans and was told there was a $2000 additional cost. It’s sad because it seemed at one time that your app broke the code. Other sites are using technology that shows the original window sticker. I wish you guys could do that too.

Avoid this place! Purchased a 2019 expedition with 87k on 1/15/2025. On 2/13/2025 the transmission failed! We have not had the vehicle long enough for this to be our problem. I reached out several times to our contact Jay ** and no response. So sad....

Let me begin by saying Cargurus deal summary is nowhere near being honored by the dealership finance dept. That's just a way to reel you in like fish. Then hook you in with a deal that is nowhere close to what the deal summary is. On top of that they want you to come, spend lots of unnecessary hours at the dealership.. Pretty much they get you all happy and excited only to turn your happiness into sadness and having to walk away dissatisfied and sad.

On the site. It says that the car is a 6 speed Manual. But the pictures show that it's an automatic. It looks like the old bait and switch. So which is it?? An stick or automatic??I prefer driving stick. Thieves are less likely to steal a stick. Because a lot of people can't drive stick.

I had a question about a specific detail about one of the cars on this website and asked one of the agents who work at the company. The agent couldn't give me the answer I was looking for but said that I would have contact with the dealer and be able to get my answer from them. I believe that this proves great customer service and how even a middle-aged teen can still be treated as an equal person instead of being diffused of their questions and curiosity. Would recommend it to any young person looking for a new/used car to drive.

The response from customer service was very prompt. They were very polite in the texts! The app is very helpful, I’ve used it several times previously and I will continue using it. After a few attempts to contact them I called them directly and they said the truck was still there and for sale. I asked the sales associate a couple questions about it and she said she would take better pictures and send a video to me. After a few hours and no further information I called back she then said the truck was sold.
That sounds frustrating! It’s disappointing when there’s a lack of clear communication. It seems like the dealership either wasn’t up-to-date with the truck's status or didn’t follow through on their promises to provide more info. Hopefully, you can find something else soon, but that’s definitely an experience worth sharing with the dealership or CarGurus to help improve things for future buyers.

The first person I spoke with (bot?) hung up on me. I texted 1 for unsatisfactory contact. Was promised twice by text that the dealer would call me, but no call. Today I finally got a call back from the message I left at the dealer today. Prior to that call I got a lot of texts which did not satisfy my request to have the dealer call me.

Jenalyn is either stupid, cannot speak English, or, both. She could not comprehend that the question is in reference to GARGURUS' “Avg. market price (IMV)” and NOT the dealers pricing of the vehicle. She repeatedly referred to the dealer’s pricing and suggested I contact the dealer to find out how CARGURUS calculate the “Avg. market price (IMV)”. If the IMV is irrespective of the $4,000 EV credit, then your assessment that thee dealers price is $1000 BELOW IMV is WRONG. The cash price is $4000 above their listed price making the list price $3000 ABOVE IMV and NOT a good deal at all.

Wasn’t a lot to choose from. I was looking for a 4x4 leveled Chevy, GMC, or Ford, but if you looking to buy a car or SUV this is definitely the place to look and everybody I spoke with were really professional and were a huge help. I’m still looking through vehicles. They have a tone of different rides on their lots. They have a ride for just about anybody for sure!!!

I’m kinda lost for words. CarGurus changes the pricing on cars without dealerships' knowledge and they are not clear on financing. I have been denied three times for a loan using your services as the calculation you use is incorrect and I get a loan rate of 27.9% not 18.9%.

We used them to advertise our vehicles and Cargurus maybe they are the #1 for advertising but they don't worry about the car dealer more than the customers and the way they use to put the value for the vehicle it depends on not accurate platform. We signed with a premium package with them for one year and it didn't work and we tried to contact the customer service to go back to the normal package and they refused to do it so as a car dealer you need them to advertise your inventory but you don't have to pay for extra service because they will charge for something and it is not working good.

Ladies beware! These men are predators. They engage in predatory practices to make sales. The listing for vin number #** was supposed to be a ONE-OWNER vehicle. Pending the receipt of a Carfax (which was promised on the listing) I left a deposit only to receive a Carfax the following day stating that the Car has 2 owners.
I promptly asked for my deposit to be refunded and they stated it was too bad as they have a no refund policy. How these predators can operate a business is beyond me. As it stands, I have hired a lawyer, contacted the AG office and Help Me Hank at WHDH to expose these predators and get my $3500 refunded. As of today, the ad is still on Cargurus.com with the incorrect driving history - so these predators know what they are doing and don't care. Buyer beware. Do not shop at this dealership because they are predators. Cargurus said they don't get involved in third-party disputes. Obviously, avoid Cargurus too.

I used CarGurus the first time a couple of weeks ago to sell my car and buy a new one. They were very informative and made it really easy to connect with dealerships that I'd be interested in working with. I didn't know how the process was gonna play out, but that was not because there wasn't literature or information for me to read on the CarGurus' site. I was following the prompts. It gave me a list of dealerships and estimated prices for my car that I was selling, like how much they thought the dealership would offer. Then it gave me the options in terms of what I might be interested if I was gonna purchase another car. I did that two days before I ended up going into a dealership and within three days, I had ended up completing the purchase and the sale.
I feel really good about the experience with the sale. In terms of working with CarGurus, it was a very seamless process. I enjoyed working with them. I'm sure that if I needed customer service support, it would have been there. But I didn't need it 'cause they made it really easy. I have recommended CarGurus to a couple other folks as well and I would continue to do so if ever asked. If you're in the market for selling your car, it's a really quick and easy way to source the current state of the marketplace and get a reasonable estimate for how much you think you'd be able to sell your car for. This is a good way to be noncommittal but get an idea of what the market looks like for your vehicle.

You shouldn't waste my time with posted prices that include all sorts of allowances that aren't going to be available. Dealers that do that turn me off and I quickly lose interest in their vehicles. My experience with CarGurus was good. The process was easy. It took a week to 10 days. I had an appointment, and then I drove to the dealership, and they checked the car. We agreed on the offer. It was excellent. This whole process was very smooth. CarGurus is a professional, nice platform to search for your vehicles. I'll definitely recommend them to my friends in the future.

I sold a Jaguar 2015 to Wyler Toyota thru CarGurus and I didn't have any problem with them. I'd do it again and I'd recommend them. Their website was easy to use and they did everything they were supposed to. They were professional, too. Wyler made me a fair offer, then I got an offer from Carvana for the exact amount that I sold it for. I liked that Jeff Wyler more or less matched the price and wrote me a check. So sometimes you go with the person that's got the money in hand.

The search was excellently executed (menu, keystrokes, appearance, etc), accurate regarding finding desired model and features, and very quick. Then, behind the scenes, CarGurus contacted the dealer who called me the next morning and we consummated the remote sale over the phone over the next two days. The app give you the option to pay the full amount in cash, but most dealers refused to get paid in cash and only accept financed. I spent a lot of time searching for the best deals and l sent my offers but was not contacted by any dealer.

The three cars that were on Craigslist for all sold. The one they had left was $8,000 more. It said free shipping when they won't ship at all. They wouldn't come down much on the price of the car. So I went to my local dealer and bought one. The local dealer was honest and came down on their price to where I was satisfied with what I got.

Finally a nice dealership. Bought a car for my daughter. The owner Ari took his time to present the car and get an excellent approval for an 18 years old. Highly recommended. Dealer is obviously doing a bait and switch and will give you different prices, talked to dealer. He admitted that they had very fine print and blamed all of the bad reviews on ignorant customers. I told him that seems dishonest. He said we got fine print in Jersey! I wasn’t sure how to respond to that.

CarGurus constantly allows dealers to post ads that are false and when I have reported this several times, they refuse to post my reviews. The dealerships in question were practicing "bait and switch" practices and Car Gurus constantly came up with ways to avoid posting negative reviews BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING PAID BY DEALERSHIPS. I have deleted my Car Gurus account and hope the word spreads about the nature of this "business" They should definitely be investigated as should the dealerships they advertise that do these unethical things.

This is the one and only best place to buy a vehicle. The owner/manager was honest and truth from the beginning to the end, nothing less than happiness! My sister and I have search high and low over NY and NJ areas looking for the best price for a vehicle of her dreams, this place is Cargo Auto Group. Although CarGurus are not responsible for I still want them to know after 35 days I haven’t received the title or transfer from Vaden Chevy on the Honda pilot I purchased. I am still waiting for a reply from tags and title @ Vaden Chevy Poole GA. I am not happy!! My temp reg expires 12/24/24.

Because of this transaction I've had to file complaints with Consumer Protection, and Federal Trade Commission, The dealership used a vehicle courier whom tried getting additional funds from me. They also mis-filed my registration that was supposed to be transferred out of state. The worst of it however was the nearly $3000 of supposedly optional items they added to the purchase price but would not allow me to opt out of receiving. These items were essentially a fabric spray and supposedly 'anti-theft' stickers; for $3000! Beware of dealerships that respond to an inquiry with links. The supposedly 'in house' credit inquiry was used to make an unlawfully high interest rate, and then sell my account to a 3rd party.

I liked the website. It let me look for a specific year, make, model, color, interior, and I was able to find one in Connecticut. The first couple of dealers that I went to over the phone were good. The first couple I went to locally showed me a car, upped the price, then sold it out from under me in the middle of a deal. I've also had a little trouble getting some of the people to respond to emails and calls after the initial conversations and the initial paperwork started changing hands, but I've got that all wrapped up now. I have wound up purchasing a vehicle. Overall, my experience was pleasant and I would use CarGurus for my next vehicle. The problems I had with the individual dealers had nothing to do with the site.

I was interested in seeing the window sticker for the vehicle so the “AI person” transferred me to a real person. They were not able to provide it the window sticker but I don’t hold it against them. In 2019, I used CG for first time, worked a private purchase and couldn’t be happier! Started looking for a second Pathfinder and found this one a week -10 days ago, reached out to you and dealer. Car looks to still be available but no response from dealer…interesting. So many other options besides CG! Sad, because I prefer to keep business local, but again, I can go outside MA or keep purchases to private sales…

They partner with shady dealerships. After confirming the car would be there at the appointed time. I drove two hours to see the Jeep. When I got there they told me it was getting an oil change. Then after showing me five other models at much higher prices they admitted the Gladiator I drove two hours to see was not on the lot. I believe it didn't exist and it was an attempt to get us into the lot. Terrible waste of time and gas. Not using CarGurus ever again. They called me, texted me over and over again just for the car to not even be on the lot? Nope! Terrible.

Riddle me this- why do I need to speak to CarGurus and spend more precious time with them when I could just talk directly with sneaky dealership? Plus site leaves much to be desired. I put 150 mile radius of Harlingen TX yet I get NJ, Georgia, Florida. I wish there were no such as car dealerships. Nothing has changed in 25 years.

I lost the car while I was texting. I guess I’ll get a call from the dealership. Delivery sounds pretty unique. I would like to have it delivered, but all I got was a text message. I don’t really know what to go from here. They didn’t judge me on my file file chapter 7 on my credit, but I’m sure the payments will be low enough.

Engine light was on, low air pressure light was on, low fuel light on, driver's side window control wouldn’t work… drove over an hour one way to see car… REGARDLESS of price these issues should have been addressed BEFORE being advertised or mentioned in the description so the buyer could make an informed decision on going to look at the car.

Just wondering why it has a salvage title. Was it wrecked? If so what all happened and did they get it fixed back to original factory specs? For my sakes I hope so. Very nice looking truck. If the answers I get back I will be driving up there. I do have a trade in. Got 2004 Dodge 1500 Ram 4x4 lifted auto 5.7 4 door st pickup. 175000 miles.

Found a car that looks promising. Tried the contact dealer process and had a chat with Mark L. Fast response, helpful, and courteous. Tried setting up test drive with dealer, but dealer (as usual with this place) not answering him. Told me he will continue efforts but gave suggestion on me following up as well. Nice experience, especially since I normally HATE these chats. Overall, I like the site, but with you guys gave links to Free Car-Fax or Free Auto-Check... but I guess that's up to the dealers themselves.
