We found a vehicle on the AutoNation website that we liked and that was in our state so we reached out to the dealership and proceeded with the purchase. The vehicle was in Englewood Colorado, which is Two hours away from our location, but we were forced to drive to Canon city, which is an additional hour and a half further, in order to pick up the vehicle. Meaning they sent a driver to Englewood to drive the vehicle further away from us to Canon city. The sales experience was less than ideal. Sales persons customer service was lacking not to mention the financing department who wasn't completely sure how to run the computer. Service after the sale is very poor… Reached out via email and phone several different times to our sales person and have yet to receive any answers to our question and this vehicle was purchased in June. Wouldn't recommend this company.

They don't communicate and don't know very much. No one is contacting you about anything and they act as if they're doing you a favor when I'm the one trying to make the purchase and could easily go some place. Now I'm being told it's going to take 14 to 30 days to be refunded my $500 deposit. Please do not go to Autonation USA, 14111 Gulf Fwy, Houston, TX 77034. You will be very disappointed. They don't know anything about doing business or taking care of customers. Awful experience and hope this helps so no one else has to deal with them.

When you buy a vehicle from AutoNation, their corporate office forces every dealer to tag on $10,000 on top of financing. Trust me. I went through the process and learned the hard way. I wouldn't buy Donald Trump a vehicle at AutoNation and that says a lot. I would give less than a zero review. If you have the vehicle shipped in from around the United States if it has damage, they will try to repair it before you see the vehicle. If you catch them in the act they will not report the damage to Carfax. They would rather sell it at a loss than be reviewed.

AutoNation warranty claims group is the absolute worst set of people I have ever dealt with! They purposely make things as difficult as possible and try their best to make you frustrated and give up so they don't have to honor their claims. I bought cosmetic wheels coverage (if a wheel gets scratched or dinged up they fix it) and have gotten nothing but run around and obstacles. In particular, Angela, in the Tires and Wheels department was the most condescending person I have have ever dealt with. Terrible customer service from a company that claims to pride themselves on that very trait.

We live in Oklahoma City and purchased our BMW from AutoNation BMW in Dallas. Vehicle was ordered and was delivered without the brake calipers being painted which we bought and paid for. When vehicle was delivered, we were told they would just send us the money $800 to get the brakes calipers painted locally in OKC. We are now 6 weeks removed, and no money has been received. I have contacted Mr ** the GM, and he assured me the issue would be resolved. That was 2 weeks ago.

I have now contacted BMW North America. They have responded in an email stating they will get back with me within the next few weeks. All in all, I paid over 100 k for a new BMW 7 series, and it is still not as ordered. All very disappointing. I think the dealership just hopes I will go away, that is not happening. The GM, Shawn **, refused to honor that policy stating, “the vehicle was not in the same condition as when I left”. DUH!

Because you sold a faulty vehicle to start with! Mr. ** displayed NO sense of responsibility and told me, “Cars break every day”. He treated me with contempt and was quite angry and not once did he apologize.

I have contacted the Colorado Dealer’s Board, CO attorney general’s office and the big-shots at AutoNation as well as my attorney and others. It looked like a nice truck and right after my 1st payment it broke down. All the lights went on. Check engine brake lights traction control etc.. I called the office spoke to the service agent. Said they do not have loaner cars available. They had 38 people in line waiting for a loaner car. So I proceeded to drive the truck back to the house. I got the warranty on it and the GAP. Called again and the service manager said for me to take it somewhere else and go rent a car. Well now they want to sell me another truck that's doing the same thing and he wants to raise my payments on the truck they are giving me now. I'll never buy from them again. Very bad business! Hi, I did considerable research before buying a Volvo. I was told I could purchase the XC60 PHEV online and have it delivered to my house since the car is in San Jose California, and I live in Florence Oregon. I even had my local dealership Sheppard Motors try to get the car for me. Autonation San Jose never returned any contact. On July 2, 2025, I wired $76,660.93 to Autonation San Jose and they sent me some forms to DocuSign. On July 8, I was forced to spent over $800 to fly to Autonation Bellevue in Washington to complete the signing. It has now been 15 days since then and I still don’t have my car. They have my money, so I want my car. They are now blaming it on the transport company.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this entire process and Autonation San Jose. I really feel that they have been very dishonest, deceitful and unprofessional. I have also informed Volvo of this matter. Had I known that it would be such a hassle to purchase one, I would have bought another brand, but San Jose had the exact car I wanted. I will be contacting someone for legal advice.

I purchased a “Worry-Free” 2014 Ford F-150 from AutoNation Subaru of Scottsdale on May 23, 2025. Less than a month later, multiple certified shops confirmed the truck needed $12,000–$16,000 in major repairs — suspension, turbochargers, cooling system, and high-mileage maintenance — all of which had been identified in an inspection just weeks before AutoNation sold it to me. Despite claiming every vehicle undergoes a “rigorous inspection” and is “ready for the open road,” they sold me this truck without disclosing any of these issues.

Lemon Law Complaint – Mercedes-Benz of Delray Beach / AutoNation / Sedgwick. I leased a brand-new Mercedes from Mercedes-Benz of Delray Beach, Florida, in September 2023. Just three months later, on December 28, 2023, the car completely stopped working. Mercedes-Benz held the vehicle for over 90 days, unable to diagnose or fix the issue. Given the repeated failure to repair and the extended time out of service, I filed a Florida State Lemon Law claim. The vehicle was officially deemed a lemon.

Mercedes-Benz and AutoNation referred my case to Sedgwick Insurance, their claims handler. Sedgwick has made every step of the process unnecessarily difficult. They falsely claimed I owed money for add-ons already incorporated into my lease payments and refused to reimburse me for the value of my trade-in, which I had used toward the lease. As a result, I had no choice but to hire a lawyer.

It is now June 17, 2025 — and this simple lemon law case remains unresolved. Meanwhile, I’ve made 23 lease payments, and the car, which has only 2,800 miles, sits unused in my driveway. This is a disgraceful abuse of the lemon law process. AutoNation and Sedgwick have demonstrated complete disregard for consumer rights, accountability, and fair dealing.

I provided them with the death certificate and marriage certificate, which Cameron assured me would suffice. However, they struggled to identify the financing company, which was Nissan Finance. Cameron and the management seemed completely lost on this. They informed me that I would need my probate papers to proceed. The car was left in their possession, and I mentioned it would take a few weeks to get to court. They called me several times, and after three weeks, I received a message on my phone saying my car was being towed.

When I called, they explained it was being taken to a storage facility because they couldn’t keep it in their lot due to liability issues. I have full coverage on the car, so I thought it would be protected if anything happened. They never mentioned it would be impounded, which ended up costing me $503.07 to retrieve my car. Cameron told ASAP Towing that the car was abandoned and handed over both keys, which is absurd since they wanted to buy it. This situation has cost me time and money, and they all acted like it was no big deal. That’s not how you treat a customer, whether you’re buying or selling.

So I went to this place looking at a Honda Odyssey and spoke with Robert T. Mind you I had my own finance company and did not need theirs at all. I had USAA, Navy Federal Apple Credit Union. After sitting down with him I was very clear on what I wanted and the price with everything including I was not going over it. Robert had me fill out the paperwork, and I told him do not run my credit at all. I made it clear before he went over to finance about the price that I was gonna pay. Next a guy from finance approached me talking about Gap insurance that I had a question about gap insurance. I explained to him I never had a question about gap insurance and I know that it’s not what Robert had told him and if it so it was incorrect information. So he explained that he couldn’t go down on the price but $31. I said never mind. I am not taking the vehicle.

He then change the price to go down additional $331 to 15,000. I said 14 five and that is it. He said, "Well if you cannot do 15 then I guess that would be it," and I said I guess so. There’s no need for continue with this conversation because neither one of us is budgeted on the price. Robert T then came back to his desk and stated that, "We doing all of this over $500.00," and I said, "Yes we are". Robert went back over to finance to try to get the $500 taken off. So while sitting there, I received a phone call from Navy Federal that my account has been hacked and money was taken out of my account and they want to confirm it with me. So they stated that they was gonna lock my account to prevent anything else of coming out, I was irritated and I said I’m gonna leave.

At this point, someone from finance came over to me and said, "Because this is happening to you we’re gonna put a hold on everything. We’re not gonna touch anything and move forward any transactions until you cleared up with your bank to make sure everything‘s OK". I said perfect. Once I discussed the fraud with my bank. At this point the next day I receive notification that my credit was ran from their dealership. I reached out to Robert to ask what was going on. Why did they run my credit when they simply said from finance we was not moving forward with anything until I found out what happened with my bank account. He said he don’t know why they did it. I said, "So you guys must agreed on my 14 five since you just did a hard credit report on me."

Long story short they did not agree on the price. They wanted to apologize and stated that they run credit reports before agreeing on a price and before selling the vehicle. What was the need to run my credit report if I had my own finance company and on top of that if your finance guy named John comes to me and tell me that, "Because your account got hacked, we’re going to stop everything and not touch your stuff". So you mean to tell me that anybody feel like any paperwork your credit with get checked. I’m the type of person that looks at my credit report and get notification when it got ran, I realize what you did and called you out on it.

At this point I keep calling up there to figure out and ask why did they touch my credit and why did they run my credit for it? They decided to stop answering my phone calls. Say the person wasn’t there that I was looking for and then when my husband call them from his phone, they decided to answer and explained to him that they run everybody credit report before they discussed numbers with them regarding a vehicle. I went to six other car dealerships to see if that would happen and I even asked them and they all told me, "We don’t run anything without your permission and we don’t we discussed numbers and prices before we run anything," so no I will never buy from them.

I would never refer someone to them and if you do go to them, do not put your social on anything until you have it in writing the price of the vehicle with taxes and registration all included in writing, signed by someone higher like the owner rather then the floor rep or finance person because they will try to change the numbers and change everything. I do not play about my credit score. Oh yeah before my husband went off on John he dropped the price and down to $100.00 more but mind you they kept saying that they couldn’t do that!!

The people are the same, Coast honors the GM warranty and supposedly fixes the repair Autonation did not. (Side note, it was the same people and they never said to tow to Autonation or with our AAA we certainly would have used the free tow, because they wouldn’t honor the 12/12000 mile warranty since they “did Autonation a favor.”).

Michael went above and beyond; he was extremely easy to talk to. I let him know right at the start this was my budget on a used vehicle for my daughter, and it was literally right there. I was amazed because I have bad credit. I've been to other dealerships, and we go through everything, but then at the end, the payments are not nearly what we discuss, so it was a BIG change, and I'm already planning to get my next kid a vehicle from Michael. THANKS.

Toyota of Irvine and team is like a bad relationship, great at first, and gets bad quickly. I worked with Don, Elijah **, Erik **, and Shawn. You would think they have never sold a car before. The docs that needed sent out to sign sat in Erik's desk for nearly two days. They were unable to confirm my wire transfer of $22k went through until the following week (mind you this was a domestic wire transfer done at my bank). They weren't going to give me a temp tag. No idea about the bill of sale or title work as no one has called back yet nor shared that information. They never shipped my car even after payment and docs were confirmed. I had to call and prompt the transportation to be arranged. Shawn's response was "there's three managers and I assumed someone else had done it, it will probably be a week or two before they pick it up."

They over charged me approx 350$ in fees and Elijah when said he would look into it first thing over a week ago provided no call or follow up. I then was in speaker with Elijah Shawn and Don; Don explained reason for update and Elijah replied, "hah, dude" to Don. I could hear the smirk and disrespect over the phone. They still cannot tell me when the amount owed back to me or even a final number is. I have bought vehicles from out of state several times and even AutoNation dealers in the past. This has been the worst car buying experience of my life. In conclusion, if you like being treated poorly, phone calls not returned, incorrect purchase amount invoiced, and all other information above then you may enjoy this place. This was a very unfortunate turn of events and I certainly hope these areas of focus can be improved upon.

AutoNation quickly said it was not due to their repair, then kept stalling me (didn't tell me for 2 1/2 weeks ) that there was metal in my oil. The oil that they had just changed. STAY AWAY FROM AUTO NATION!!!! I would not take a Matchbox car there.

My husband and I purchased a 2021 BMW X5 from your location on November 16. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, we pointed out a broken windshield and cracked rear reflector. I wanted to pick up the vehicle when said repairs were completed, however, the salesperson as well as the Sales Manager assured me the items would be scheduled the following Monday morning. We notated the items on a document and signed it. Monday morning comes and goes, and I have not heard anything from the salesperson, nor the manager. I made several phone calls throughout the day to try to get the items resolved. It took several phone calls to get the windshield replaced on the following Wednesday, November 20th. I still have not heard anything regarding the rear reflector repair.

I texted the salesperson, to no avail. In the meantime, I have had more severe issues with the vehicle. I am getting periodic messages that the drivetrain needs to be serviced. With that, I have also noticed that intermittently, when in sports mode, the vehicle drives erratically. It sort of jolts back and forth with accelerating. Another issue I am having is that when I go to get in the vehicle in the mornings, sometimes the vehicle is already started, even though the keys have been hanging up, untouched. This is obviously concerning if the car is starting in the garage. I am unsure how often this happens that I do not know about, which is an obvious safety concern.

I called AutoNation to make a service appointment. The person who booked my appointment knew I had a BMW that needed service and made my appointment for Monday, December 16th. I emptied my schedule for the appointment only to find out at my appointment that the vehicle cannot be serviced there anyway. I asked several of your employees that were helping me why the appointment was made not knowing it was not going to be fixed there and that an appointment with BMW needed to be made, as this was a complete waste of my time. Each employee, including Jason, my service advisor, told me the call center was separate from the dealership, and they don't know. No one showed concern for my wasted day, just made excuses.

Jason advised me that he would call BMW to make my appointment and call me back that day. I did not receive a call from Jason. I called and spoke with Gary, the service manager, on December 20th. I expressed my concerns about wasting my time going to an appointment and how Jason did not do what he promised. Again, I was met with complacence and excuses. I have been in customer service for 20+ years, and I have never treated my clients like this. It is completely unacceptable to offer less than adequate customer service. Jason was only helpful once I asked for contact of the person who manages the entire dealership. Only then was I met with half standards.

I told Jason that I would need a loaner vehicle, and he just explained how many people are on the loaner list, the lack of vehicles to loan, etc. More excuses and zero care or problem solving. I sent an email to Joseph ** on December 25, 2025, regarding the concerns and negative experiences we have had. I did not hear back from him. I did have an appointment to bring the vehicle in on December 26th, however, I was provided with a loaner vehicle, which was very appreciated, however, it was a small Chevy which is significantly smaller than the X5. It was not adequate for my family. One would think a loaner vehicle would be at least the size of the vehicle that it is replacing.

By January 7, nothing had been completed on the X5 that they had for 12 days. I was told that it needed a new battery and that it should fix the issue. I asked AutoNation to pay for that as we should not have had this issue just weeks after purchase. Per the Salesperson and Sales manager, AutoNation backs up the 125-point inspection and will take care of any issue that comes up immediately. To say the very least, the Sales team and the service team have COMPLETELY different views on this.

I spoke with Joseph ** on January 8 and asked him if he received my email on December 25, as I have not heard back from him. At first, he denied receiving my email, then when I pulled up the email and explained the time and date it was delivered, he said he did receive it. Apparently instead of responding, he forwarded it off to someone else to take care of. During this phone conversation, he was extremely annoyed in speaking with me. He showed zero empathy, lack of care and zero customer service skills. Nonetheless, he did agree to pay for the battery.

On January 9, 2025, when I went to retrieve the X5, the service person informed me that I needed to pay over $200 for the diagnosis. Before this, I didn’t know I would have to pay anything. I asked to see the invoice from BMW to show what AutoNation paid, to which no one could find. I asked to speak to Joseph **. Joseph came over to service where I was sitting at the desk. He hovered over me and raised his voice, stating that he does not have to pay for the battery and that he would revoke that if I didn’t agree to pay the $200 and state that I was okay with everything. Everyone in the service department, employees and customers alike witnessed this bullying behavior.

I am honestly baffled that he is the GM of the entire dealership. He exhibits a complete lack of customer service skills. He does not have any empathy and shows a complete lack of care, which clearly trickles down to all the employees. Meeting him made it very clear why we had such a terrible experience at AutoNation. I have been in Customer Service for over 20 years, and I have never, nor would I ever treat a customer the way that I have been treated at AutoNation.

I did mention to Joseph that I will be letter AutoNation Corporate Office of the experience that I have had. He said it really doesn’t matter because they don’t care. According to him, the corporate office will just forward the email to him and clearly, he doesn’t care. It is also noted that when I picked up the X5, the rear reflector that was promised to be fixed immediately still has not been fixed. It was just ordered on January 9, and no one has called me to set up a time to fix this. The X5 also still starts on its own in our garage randomly. The new battery did not fix this issue as promised.

Told they would get My new car there by time I got back from getting my checkbook. Well, it wasn't there. Then they promised first thing in the morning. Guess what. Still not there. So I told them I wanted my car by lunch. So they bring it. I get in it and it's dirty. 😐 Like wow. Salesman said he would fill up gas tank again and get it detailed. I take it in. Nope. Just washed and wiped down. It's a Benz. Guess that was my mistake buying through them. Was told my oil changes would be free.

Yeah they are not, so don't believe that! Went back a week and a half ago and another manager "promised " I'd get my LP by Wednesday. Apparently, a loan on the car hadn't been paid off and so the bank had the title and that it got paid off and they were never sent the title. Like seriously... I'm so unhappy with my purchase and the lack of service I received. I remember when the team would go above and beyond to get your car ready and have it cleaned and just make you feel good about making a purchase. Not here. So no I wouldn't recommend them!!! At this point I am just going to see what I can do legally as I paid my ttl and I've gotten nothing!!!

We said yes and he then said it need a new values covers and timing chain or they might cause irreversible engine damage. He took another 5 minutes calculating the price which was almost $2600. He had us sign authorization immediately without acknowledging what the our original problem would cost. I pressed him twice and he downplayed the cost and wanted to check it first.

Five hours later he called with another $1400. I was absolutely furious. I’m 72 and my wife and I are on a fixed income and would probably put off the larger expense. Not saying we can’t afford it but we weren’t really given the opportunity other than Map saying he could stop work and we could pick up the truck. I’ve called the service manager and general manager twice with no response. I just contacted JM Family Enterprises to tell them of your unethical operations. This is in reference to AutoNation Ford of St. Petersburg, FL. The 2013 Ford Fusion came with various undisclosed problems. The engine needs replacing along with the battery. After breaking down, the car was returned to the service center for repairs. A year ago I purchased a costly protection plan for 36,000 miles. Throughout the week, the service center has stalled, "investigated" and done everything they can to get around making the repairs or taking accountability for selling me a vehicle with a defective engine. They refuse to give me specifics regarding my vehicle protection plan and their obligations to honor it. I purchased and paid off two vehicles through the neighboring Crown dealership. Over a decade of doing business with Crown, there were no issues in terms of doing right by the customer or honoring warranties.

I have never experienced such condescending and disrespectful managers, and there is a GM who refuses to face customers or work to resolve a dispute in a amicable fashion. Having worked for a reputable car dealership after college, it is apparent that this company lacks ethics and is only concerned about getting your money. Afterwards, you are on your own. No loaner, no replacement, no honoring warranty, do the best you can. There are better companies to do business with. Don't trust AutoNation Ford them with your hard earned money.

I came to an agreed price with Autonation and then my hell began. I bought my car 23, yes 23 years ago and I couldn't find my title. Having bought and sold cars for decades the typical scenario would be I'd sign a bunch of forms authorizing the buyer to get a duplicate title and being charged roughly $100 to cover the states charges. Simple. But that's not the way autonation works. First, they insisted I produce a Title or they wouldn't buy the car. A nasty reaction but I'm retired and really have nothing better to do than waste 3 hours at the DMV so I went and got the hard copy.

I called Autonation to set another appointment and asked for SPECIFICALLY want they wanted, and at that point they told me they also needed to see a copy of the receipt from the DMV to prove I paid for the duplicate title. Of course, I had no idea where the receipt was but I found it and again called to see EXACTLY what they wanted. I was then told I ALSO needed to provide a copy of the form I completed so they could submit it to the "main office" who would review it and make a decision as to whether it was acceptable. Enough insinuations that I was a fraud and a liar. I will NEVER buy or sell a car through Autonation.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! If it were possible to give less than one star I would have!!!! I purchased a Lexus from them, Charlotte NC location, July of this year…. the car I purchased not even 5 months ago. I was told the car was in great condition, gone through an extensive service evaluation but that was actually a lie. I took the car to my local dealership for regular maintenance only to find out it had over 10 critical issues that needed immediate attention, to the tune of over $7000!!!! There is no way they didn’t know the car had that many high costing issues. Do not purchase from them.

I received a reply to my Google review from someone who identified themselves as “Owner”, inviting me to call the GM, giving AutoNation the opportunity to make this right, and I did that, spoke with the GM, Colin **, who set up an appointment with me to come in on tomorrow morning for them to do an inspection of the vehicle. Well later I’m told by Larry ** that Colin ** is the only GM, however Colin himself told me he will not be there on tomorrow but I’m to ask for Kevin…. be it that Collin is the GM, but won’t be there tomorrow, my going there is for what exactly?

I live in another State, and I expressed to Colin my concern for my time being wasted, traveling there for nothing. Well, I went there and when I asked for Colin, I was told he was already gone for the Holiday. A man name Chris, who introduced himself as the service manager, sat at my table, and asked me to share with him what was going on with the car, and I replied "where is Colin, and did he not fill you in, because I'm not going to keep repeating this." He then said he would be the one helping me, so I gave him the spiel all over again.

Well shortly after Chris goes away, a "Cameron **" comes and states he will be handling the matter. I'm confused at this point, and I said to him "none of you are on the same page, because Chris just said he would be handling it, but Colin is who initiated the rolling of the ball" and then comes out "Colin", who states to me that there was nothing wrong with the car, and they would work up some numbers and let me know their buyback offer.. Well Cameron comes back with a buyback offer amount that's $4000 less than the loan balance, which was totally unacceptable, especially since I was wronged.... sold a faulty car.... was told it was in great condition....

So after much more dialogue, the subject of them fixing some of the issues is discussed.... Cameron said earlier that the car was perfectly "Safe" to drive, so what issues are you going to fix??? Well, Cameron agreed to fix the wheel bearing, the exhaust issue, the leaking pinions, and 2 other issues, as well as check the rotors. Well fast forward, I very reluctantly agreed to allow them to do "some" of the repairs. I reached back out to Cameron on Friday via email and I asked him twice to give me a turnaround time for whatever they were planning on doing to fix the car be it that per him, my car has been in the air since Tuesday, and as of 2:30 p.m. today, still no email or call from Cameron, The negligence on AutoNation's part was either NOT checking that car as they should have or checking it and not disclosing those issues to me.

I called Cameron today at approximately 2:50 p.m. only to find out that due to there being some rusted bolts they are not going to fix the exhaust issue, and the reason for not fixing it is they don't want to strip them and cause more damage. So, I asked him "so you're basically giving it back to me as it was, although you never should have sold it to me that way, regarding the exhaust" and the leaks, and he said "yes". He's acknowledged there is a leak, which means there was a leak when they sold it to me.

On today, Cameron emailed me an estimate for the wheel bearing being replaced, my cost. Although he promised to fix it at Autonation's expense, which is why I left the car there, so now he's going back on what he initially agreed to do! I am fully persuaded they are not going to fix anything. Whatever they do will be patch work and I didn't spend $23,000 for a quilt. I will be filing a claim with the BBB and consulting a Consumer Protection Attorney. Again I say, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AUTONATION!!!!

We purchased a vehicle from AutoNation for our 16-year-old son, expecting a safe and reliable car. Unfortunately, within just 4,000 miles, the brakes were completely worn down to the rotors, causing them to seize—a dangerous situation that could have easily ended in a tragic accident. This was a huge red flag given the dealership’s assurance that they had completed a thorough safety inspection, which supposedly measured 6mm on the front brake pads and 8mm on the rear.

Both the dealership’s general manager and service manager agreed that this was highly unusual, and even the staff hinted that the initial inspection might not have been done properly. They offered to assist with the repair costs, but once we started the process, they completely stopped responding to us. To make matters worse, a local Ford dealer also raised doubts about the inspection's accuracy, which confirmed our suspicions.

We escalated the issue to AutoNation corporate, hoping they’d address the serious safety concern, but no one has reached out. This experience has shown us that AutoNation isn’t the reputable company it once was. They appear to be cutting corners at the expense of customer safety, and we strongly advise others to stay away from this dealership.

Terrible experience with this corporate dealership. On 9/21/24, I came across a vehicle that I was extremely interested in and ready to purchase. I reached out to the AutoNation dealership based out of Buena Park and inquired about the car, stating my intention to purchase the car. The salesperson was extremely helpful and we set an appointment for midweek for me to pick up, gave me the out the door price based on the AutoNation 1Price.

Two days later, I noticed the posting disappeared and therefore reached out to the salesperson. Long story short, "corporate" decided to change the price by increasing it by $17,000 and relisted the car at a new, much higher price of $135,000. It was first posted at $117,995 (have all screenshots), which to me was already a fair price based on the specs and according to KBB, hence the reason I inquired about purchasing. The salesperson had no idea about the price change and was as shocked as I was when he contacted corporate and they would no longer honor the price. Keep in mind, the AUTONATION 1PRICE guarantee is basically the price you see, the price you pay. Yeah, right. Typical bait and switch. I would caution those looking to buy cars from this unethical corporate dealership.

We purchased the car 60 days ago (or so) and we have had to replace all four tires and now a battery. The car has 20,000 (18,500 when we purchased it) miles on it and we have not hit the threshold of the 90 days or 4,000 warranty that the dealership offers not to mention the extended warranty we purchased. There is absolutely no reason we have had to spend $1700 on repairs on a car that we purchased less than 3 months ago. The dealership is refusing to help us and basically said “we checked the battery” and “the tires were fine”. Honestly avoid this place.

The people who helped us initially are great, but sold us a lemon and won’t do anything about it. I've also reached out to their corporate office EVERY DAY for the past 7 business days and every time I call they say "someone will call you back in 48 business hours, that's 6 business days"....I've called them about 6-8 times and also emailed them 6 times with absolutely no response. Auto Nation is a joke and won't do the right thing. Please go to a certified dealer.

I am openly offended by an exchange today with an underhanded, duplicitous salesperson at this disreputable company and I can assure you I will NEVER do business with this firm now or in the future. When requesting a test drive online, I was asked to share my e-mail address and indicated that I wanted to be contacted by that Gmail address ONLY. Within minutes I received a phone call on my cell phone. I am very careful when it comes to sharing my cell number, so I am appalled that they somehow extracted my number. Soon after, they sent an e-mail to a different and unauthorized e-mail address that is linked to my business. Again, I did NOT give them that number. If you want to be harassed and have your personal information compromised, then this is the company for you. Personally, I detest such obnoxious business tactics.

I had to fight for 4 weeks to get our first payment returned from AutoNation Finance (CIG). It has NOW been 6 weeks since we have paid cash for our car and we still do not have our title. We have been told over and over that someone would call to update us. But over and over again, they never do. We do believe at this point we have legal ramifications. We only want the title of the car we paid cash for. We have contacted the corporate office and the finance manager at the dealership we bought the car from. No one seems to think that it is important to do what you say and say what you mean. They have terribly predatory practices. Run!

Original: Bought a Car in June 2024. Accepted their financing, and made my first payment. Shortly after I received a letter stating that my loan had been sold back to the dealer. Autonation Nissan of Marietta and to call them. When I called them, they no longer exist. They had been sold and no one there has any idea what is going on. So I tried to call Autonation corporate and had to leave a message which said basically I would get a call back in six days. No one knows who I need to pay or how I need to pay or where my title is. We are in the process of getting a lawyer involved. This is a worthless company. Run as hard as you can.

Stay away! Absolutely the worst dealership! They sold me a lemon! I purchased this vehicle one year ago, in May 2023. Over the last year, I have encountered nothing but issues, including frame and body, engine malfunctions, and wheel and suspension breakdowns. I've tried communicating with the store manager and service department but have had no resolution. When I purchased the vehicle, I trusted the advice of the sales and finance associates and invested in an extended warranty and maintenance contract, which I was told would cover the vehicle bumper to bumper; however, the only response that was ever provided was "it is not covered." The poor customer service and lack of concern displayed by the store staff and the poor quality of the vehicle sold to me have left this experience to be nothing but dissatisfying.

This store took advantage of me and sold me a vehicle that was not in working condition. I have had to make several repairs out of pocket already, and now I am being told that additional repairs of over $2500 need to be made for my vehicle to be safe to drive! The sales manager always claims he didn't receive my messages, be it phone calls, emails, or letters I have sent. This business does not care about the customer's safety, nor will they take responsibility for their failure to deliver a quality product. They run the business and behave like a small dealership, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless.

This place is terrible! I ordered Molding R Drip Side ($89.81) and Molding L Drip Side ($89.81) for my 2008 Honda civic. Auto parts charged me $369.94 for shipping and my total cost for whole entire order was for my $595.59 (including tax). The parts are very light and less than 2Ibs. They are just very long and it’s made out of rubber (very thin car part). I paid almost 3x the amount for shipping then the actual product. They also packed the very thin parts in two separate boxes. I attempted to call and dispute this order but they refused to give me back money for the shipping ($369.94).

In order for me return the package they are requesting for me to pay the $369.94 and claiming that it is width of the box that’s costing me. Which is ridiculous. I reordered the parts from another company and shipping was FREE and both moldings packed in one thin box. Yes, the other company was OME parts. My advice is to check the shipping cost and don’t order from AutoNation Parts.

I wouldn’t recommend service at canyon city AutoNation. We had a terrible experience. Needed an alternator and a new battery on 2012 dodge Journey and was quoted by Brandon $200 diagnostic fee which would go to the work if we chose to go with them for repairs. I got a quote of $1600 For a battery and alternator which I feel was way too high! Considering I found a New alternator and a battery both for $550 bucks, So labor cost $1000 basically, CRAZY! I then spoke with Connor who said that the diagnostic fee was only $$180 which I found was odd because Brandon told me different quote of $200. If I did have them do the work, the diagnostic charge would be taken off my bill if I went with them to do the work.

So I purchased a battery and alternator myself which did make it cheaper but at the end of the day they charged me $640 just for labor alone. I know they didn’t remove the $180 or $200 which still is not clear seeing how the two work side by side and had conflicting statements and they said they took of the diagnostic fee which I don’t see how that is possible with labor at $640. None of it was documented on paperwork. Nothing to say they did diagnose the vehicle!

When I did call Brandon, he got frustrated and transferred me to Connor, Connor tells me a story that they did not do a diagnostic when Brandon told me in the first place that they do diagnostics on all the vehicles because that is standard procedure before they work on it, so there’s definitely a lot of cause for concern with both Brandon and Connor stories not coinciding. Nothing was taken off the price of the diagnostic which I don’t see that it came off, not to mention they lowered the price of the diagnostic fee so it didn’t take much off my end bill being that I went with them, so they didn’t have to take off that much towards the diagnostic. A lot of conflicting stories between Brandon and Connor. Just a very unsettling experience. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know to have service down there.

Within two weeks the oil light was on and the breaks were squeaking. I brought it to the service department where I was then told that they did not hear any squeaking so they would not change the brakes. I then brought it to Alfa Romeo, Larchmont, where I found out that the brakes were actually warped and never had been changed. I also found out the oil change had not been done, and actually the oil was 4 quartz over.

When I then brought this problem to the service department attention they told me they would do the oil change, which for the second time they actually did not do, they only let out oil which then brought the oil too low, which is unsafe for the engine. Also the engine light would come on and off, I brought it to service department attention but I was told they cannot look at the car If the check engine light is not permanently on, "AutoNation policy". We arrived at the designated time, but the Service Manager, David **, who did not greet us, but did help out when we asked for assistance, could not find the appointment in their computer system. They took our car, told us they'd be in touch within 2 days. Never received any communication from them. Called on the 3rd day they had the car, but only got to their call center. Asked to leave a message to have them call back. Never received any call back.

Called again the 4th day. This time, the call center advised to call the sales department and they would transfer us since they are in the building with service and parts. The transfer took us to a nice sounding woman who told us David **, Service Manager, wasn't available, so left another message to have him call back. Never heard back. On the 5th day, tried calling them again, this time went directly to sales, they transferred, but not a sole picked up. Decided this service department obviously wasn't interested in our business, so drove over to pick up the car.

Went to service department and asked for David **, Service Manager. He was signing into a computer so stood outside the service desks, in the lobby, obviously awaiting his help. No one else was in the lobby. Instead of recognizing me standing there, he walked over to another service persons computer and began a conversation about his pool and how he'd been working on the yardscape, showing his photos. I waiting for an opportunity to interrupt, but he didn't stop talking, not even to let his staff member make a comment (he'd seen me standing there). I interrupted the conversation telling David I was there to pick up my car, and that I'd left several messages. He was obviously knocked off his game, and pushed back saying he'd never received any messages. So I proceeded to ask why no one had even tried reaching out to let me know what they'd found, although this was promised the day the car was dropped off.

David **, Service Manager, went to get my car, and got out of it, said the key was in the car, grabbed the floor paper, and said nothing, even after I'd said their voice system was routing through the call center, and not to the actual service department, and how I had called the sales department to get through to them, not ONE word. Scheduled an appointment on a Saturday to take it in, the person who helped me said they didn’t have anyone there and that I needed to come back during the week. I asked if they had a shuttle or a loaner and he said no that they wouldn’t do that. So that week I had to make plans to get me to and from work, which is downtown. During this time it was looked and I was told they didn’t have parts but could drive until they came in. A couple weeks later, I brought the truck back in for them to “fix” however that didn’t work and now we are 3 months in and no eta on when additional parts will come in.

In the last 2 weeks I have asked the manager of the dealership to contact me and as of today, no call back. Both the sales and service directors have contacted me and agree that GM should buy the truck back and they would help but once again we have had zero follow thru. Where do I start. You advertised the car as a touring model when in fact it is a BASE model. ($3500.00 difference in value) This car should have never passed safety inspection. It had both front brake caliper steel lines kinked and bent. The left front brake line was so bent the caliper barely got any fluid and was very evident when braking quickly and hard. The right front caliper brake line also bent. ($600.00 to have repaired) The back up lights also not working on left side (safety fail again) Thought is was a bulb but turned out to be wiring issue and connector problem This cost me another $650.00 at dealer to repair. That is just the safety items that should have been corrected.

Let's talk some more about this perfect car the sales person told me about. Before we get to the cosmetics, lets talk about mechanical. The clutch chatters so badly when engaging it will chip a tooth. The clutch also slips under aggressive acceleration. ($4000.00 to repair). The rear differential limited slip is shot and growls terribly when making u turns. ($3200.00 repair). Rear brakes squeal really bad anytime you brake. This is embarrassing. (Pads and rotors $980.00) NOW let's talk cosmetics. Your salesperson described the paint as and I quote "perfect". Now I am no dummy and I know that having perfect paint on a 11 year old car is not a reality. BUT. This paint is really bad on top surfaces. The clear coat is shot. The water spots are bad and embedded into the clear they won't even polish out. The tree sap and bird dropping have eaten into the clear as well on hood, roof, and rear hatch. Basically needing to be refinished. ($5200.00).

The perfect paint does not stop there. The rear bumper is damaged and dented and paint is cracking. The right of rear bumper was not even attached to the body and was hanging loose and splash panels that should be inside right rear wheel well in missing completely. ($2700.00) All glass is etched with water spots so bad I had to have the glass professionally polished. (175.00) Not to mention both sides of car have been repainted. Front bumper paint peeling. ($800.00) SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT PAINT AS DESCRIBED by Mr Jeremy **. Now for the interior. I specifically asked Jeremy about the marks on right front door trim panel and inside door handle that were evident in photos. He told me the interior cleaned up really nice and marks were gone. ANOTHER LIE. The interior was described and very nice also. LOL.

The right door panel has gouges in upper padding and flat out CUT and pad showing through. The inside door handle has large gouge in it as well and will scratch your hand when using it. New panel and handle installed ($485.00). Left door trim panel material peeling off on top at door glass in two places also. ($365.00) I installed these myself. The odor in the car would not come out. I had to replace rear compartment carpet because the stains were soo bad and smelled and this was not even cleaned. ($240.00)

I am still in process of trying to steam the odors out of the seats and front carpet. Let explain something. Your salesperson knew I am an avid car collector and enthusiast. I sent him pictures of some of my car collection and he should have known at that time what my expectations were. DO NOT BS ME. I feel that since they knew I was buying the car before they even had it ready for the lot They just decided to let it go as is. The car was washed and vacuumed and that was IT. A very meager attempt to clean the interior was made and it shows, the exterior was washed and that was it. They seriously decided since it was sold there was no reason to do the normal "used car get ready"

THIS IS NOT WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM A NATIONWIDE AUTOMOTIVE COMPANY. I would expect to see something like this selling at some POT LOT on the corner of First and Market for about half of what I paid for it. SO BOTTOM LINE $19,000.00 LATER THE CAR IS AS DESCRIBED I have more than doubled the car value for the money I have had to spend. For this reason not only would I never recommend this dealer to anyone I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AUTONATION AS WHOLE TO MY ENEMIES. I Highly recommend anyone buying a car from an AutoNation dealer to have it at least safety inspected elsewhere before purchasing.

They did not do a State Inspection before the sale. Turns out the car had SERIOUS engine damage. I requested a refund several times and it was not honored. They had the vehicle 9 weeks after I bought it (paid cash for it) and when I picked it up it had even more damage!

    — Passenger's Side Mirror broken
    — Low air in all 4 tires
    — No gas
    — Key FOB did not work
    — Warning Lights on
    — Last oil change was over 1 year ago
    — The GM has still not returned any of my 16 messages left for him. (The Sales Manager keeps telling me he is “in a meeting”)

(And that’s just to name a few)

My advice: DO NOT buy from this establishment. I certainly would not have had I known this is how they do business.

If I could give zero stars I would. This summer in July I took my 2007 jeep Rubicon to the AutoNation location in Littleton Colorado. We had some work done on it which was under warranty. Less than two months later the work failed and we had to take it back to AutoNation in Colorado Springs to have this work repaired a second time. We were charged a fee for this, which we should not have been since it was a warranty repair. Since then I talked to Jared who is the service manager at the Littleton location, I have also called the Colorado Springs location multiple times and tried to get a hold of Amanda who I was told is the service manager and Topher who I was told is the Director. I called every day last week and nobody has ever called me back even though multiple messages have been left and return calls were “promised”.

At this point management at the Littleton location tells me that the Colorado Springs location will reimburse me, and of course management at the Colorado Springs location is telling me that the Littleton location is responsible to reimburse me. The work was done poorly to begin with and the service fee never should have been charged at the second location: Terrible work and terrible customer service. Warranty is worthless.

I was trying to buy a used car. I found one I liked at AutoNation’s BMW of Dallas dealership on Thursday so I sent them an Internet inquiry. Within an hour, a salesperson called me back. We made an appointment for noon on Friday. At 11:15 am Friday morning when I was already on my way, the salesperson called me to say that the car had been given to their wholesaler and was not available (but he would be happy to show me similar cars). On Friday afternoon, I found a car I liked at AutoNation’s Honda of Lewisville dealership so I sent them an inquiry. Within an hour, a salesperson called me back. We discussed the car and made an appointment for 10:00 am on Saturday. He sent me a text later that evening saying that they had someone else interested in the car that was coming in at 1:00 pm on Saturday but that the General Sales Manager assured him that this was a first-come, first-serve situation.

On Saturday morning, the salesperson sent me a text at 9:37 am saying he would see me soon. I arrived at the dealership at 9:45 am. The salesperson pulled the car around and let me test drive the car. During the test drive, he repeated his message that someone else was interested in the car but that the General Sales Manager said it was a first-come, first serve situation. Before the test drive was over, I told him that I would take the car and would be paying cash. He asked for my driver's license and insurance and asked me to have a seat and wait. 20 minutes or so later, some other person showed up telling me that the car already had a deposit on it from someone else and asked if he could show me a “similar vehicle”. I was livid! Not only did they misrepresent the situation, they wasted my time driving to the dealership, test driving the car, and waiting on paperwork that would never come. Rest assured, I will never, ever do any business with AutoNation again!

(AutoNation Chrysler Jeep Dodge Valencia) complaint, Around 30 days ago I was selling a vehicle to AutoNation that I previously bought from (AutoNation Honda Valencia). It was a 2016 dodge grand caravan. It had it had 150k miles. It was $10,000. I owed around $7,000 on it so I removed the $4,000 warranty and was left with $3,000 left to pay, Long story short I had that vehicle for about a year and a half it had a check engine light on for a year the of that time. It needed a new cylinder head.

I was able to sell it back to (AutoNation Chrysler jeep dodge Valencia) for a $900 loss and I only owned the car for a year and a half. For my trade in. I was Able to get a 2016 Nissan Quest. It was was around $12,000.I signed the papers, drove home and over night the transmission was leaking on my driveway and had a hidden transmission code, basically it needed a new transmission so I returned it to (AutoNation Chrysler jeep dodge Valencia) under the 5 day return policy which went smooth. When I asked the salesman, "What are you going to do with the quest? Put a transmission in it?" He said "No, to be honest with you we are going to put it back up for sale..." I was shocked.. but that's how they run their business I guess.

From returning The 2016 Nissan quest I bought a 2016 kia Sedona 98k miles getting all of the recommended warranties. Being it came with a 90 day 4,000 mile AutoNation warranty and I bought an additional Mopar warranty for 3 year 36k miles, total cost $20,000. I've owned the vehicle approximately 30 days, I had a business trip in Las Vegas so I drove to Las Vegas on (Oct 1 2023). 5 miles before Las Vegas I heard an engine pop noise then a complete loss of power. I pulled on the shoulder of the freeway called Mopar warranty. They were able to tow me to Towbin Dodge in Henderson NV, I called Towbin Dodge the next day. They said there's nothing they can do and sent it down the street to Towbin Kia which is out of the Mopar or AutoNation network, Kia Told me it needs an engine but I have to personally pay the $1,500 for the teardown inspection process to see if its covered under warranty!

Mopar nor AutoNation provided me with any rental car coverage. After flying back from Vegas and ubering everywhere on oct 5 2023 the general manager James G the General manager at (AutoNation Chrysler jeep dodge Valencia) was able to provide me with a 5 day rental car authorized by their dealership . At this point I want AutoNation to collect that vehicle and refund me my $20,000 so I can buy transportation elsewhere. I filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, I will update this complaint when it is resolved.

The buying experience overall was not bad. Managers and everyone was eager to help with the sale. The problem was the vehicle was not serviced yet and was going to take time which I was fine with, I was told it would be ready Wednesday and I bought it on a Saturday. When I called Wednesday I was told it isn't ready and will be ready friday. Come friday the salesman said it would be ready by 5. I showed up at 7 giving them more time to finish. I left at 9 pm. The car was supposed to have a full tank of gas and they only put in half. They had 5 days to have it ready and still failed to do that.

Just this past saturday 9/31/2023 one of my tires was running low on air so I took it to get repaired and once the studs were pulled from the wheel there were 3 of 5 that had bad threads on the hub. The studs were damaged and cross threaded. The front wheel was missing a bolt where they worked on and replaced the brake rotors also. I wish I could post pictures of how terrible they looked.

I called that same day and I was told that the managers were too busy to talk to me. No one could help me. Monday I chatted online with the reps since I can't get a hold of anyone over the phone and was told someone will contact me. It has been 3 days and still no phone call. I also had to call in about my license plates since again they never reached out. Then once I chatted with someone magically they had them and sent them. This place is only interested in the sale and nothing else. Once you buy the car thats it. Managers were all over talking with me before I bought the car but missing for any help afterwards.

I have all transcripts of the conversations I have had with the chats on the site. I doubt they will honor the 4k mile warranty that I was told by Efrain and the sales team that comes standard with all cars. For them to do so called multipoint inspection on the cars they sell seems iffy and their repair department forgetting to put crucial wheel studs to hold the wheels on is also a big failure. Also funny how if you look up reviews on google they say there are no reviews at the time on their site.

Dear AutoNation, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my utmost disappointment with the unprofessional conduct that I recently experienced at your dealership. My intention is not to vent my frustrations, but rather to bring to your attention the negative experience I had in hopes of preventing similar occurrences in the future. On [date], I contacted your dealership expressing my interest in purchasing a used 2017 Lexus 460. Following our initial conversation, I promptly reached out to my credit union and requested them to issue a check for the said vehicle. Concurrently, I informed your dealership that certain information was required to complete the process.

Unfortunately, despite my repeated attempts to contact your dealership to provide the necessary details, I received no response whatsoever. However, to my surprise, during this period of silence, I was repeatedly assured by your dealership that the car was secured and would soon be mine. Regrettably, my hopes were shattered when I discovered that the vehicle had been sold despite the assurances I had received from your dealership. Such actions not only demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism but also undermine the trust that customers place in car dealerships. I am left feeling extremely frustrated and let down by this disappointing turn of events.

I write this email not solely for my own sake, but as a word of caution to potential buyers. It is essential for individuals to be aware of your dealership's practices so they can exercise caution when conducting business with you. I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and prevent a recurrence. I believe it is crucial for your dealership to evaluate your internal processes, particularly in terms of communication and customer service. Improving these aspects within your organization will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also contribute to a positive reputation within the industry.

I sincerely hope that this email serves as a catalyst for change at your dealership. It is my hope that no other potential buyer will have to go through the same frustration and disappointment that I have experienced. Please take this matter seriously and initiate the necessary measures to ensure that future customers are treated with the utmost professionalism and care. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I expect a prompt response and a resolution to the issues raised. Time is of the essence, as the reputation of your dealership is at stake.

    Yours sincerely,

CUSTOMER COMPLAINT 8-18-2023. Re: AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale 15678 N Northsight Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Re: Deceptive Business Practice – “Bait and Switch “i.e. Customer is "baited" by merchant advertising a product at a (written agreed ‘trade’ price), but when customer visits the store for ‘closing’, they discover the advertised (vehicle trade price) has increased by thousands of dollars. In this particular case an increase of $4000.00., resulting in a sale/fail. CAUTION: I recommend extreme caution for anyone even remotely considering doing business with this automobile dealership!

On June 10th, 2023, Mr. ** (sales person) sent to me a (firm) approved price agreement, approval by sales manager ** (SEE COPY ATTACHED). The stated Autonation price of the new vehicle would be $35164.39, and my trade in allowance would be $24154.74 – with an estimated closing balance due of $12613.15, after crediting my previously submitted $500.00 good faith requirement. I signed my approval signature to the document, and emailed it back to Mr. **. At the closing appointment date – having waited in the office for over 1.5 hours, Mr. ** exited from one of the offices and approached me with the following. “First the ‘bad news’ – your trade value has been reduced by $4000.00, but the ‘good news’ is that we will only charge you an additional $2000.00.”

I was astounded by the news. Mr. ** knew I’d never have made that 200+ mile trip to Scottsdale, if the [previously agreed to agreement was changed)! That then coupled with the fact that the Subaru had not even been washed and fueled in advance of the closing appointment, was outrageous. It immediately became evident this entire episode was nothing more than a planned bait and switch designed to have me drive 200+ miles from Sierra Vista, to Scottsdale, then have me sit around for near two hours wondering when we’d get to the closing procedure, followed by then changing the agreement in an attempt to extract thousands of dollars more from me. I asked Mr. ** for the return of my key module and said I was leaving.

The gentleman, whom I’d never yet been introduced to, followed me out the door and said something about ‘market adjustment’. I told him we’d had a contract – he was quick to say that was not a contract! I just looked at him and figured “semantics at work”, with regard to the interpretation of the meaning of linguistics. I left the premises. NOTE: Please see attached, approved, price agreement form, dated 6-10-2023 for reference.

When we added dent coverage and attempted to use it twice, we we denied the first time, and the second ignored by the insurance company since the policy was due to expire the next day. My experience is with the Austin, Texas location on Research Blvd. I was selling my car and received a quote from Kelly Blue Book listing AutoNation as one of the dealers that would further evaluate the car. I met with the assigned sales representative, Jeremy. He had my car inspected and returned with an offer that was lower than I wanted and a few thousand lower the KBB had quoted, not unexpected. Now the problems start. He went back to his sales manager, Adrian G. who upped the offer from 25,000 to 26,000. I countered with 27,000. Jeremy then took me to meet with Adrian. I explained that I wanted 27,000 to close the deal right now. He conferred with some else and said 26,500 was his best offer. I said I would consider it but continue to see if I could get 27,000. Jeremy wrote the 26,500 offer number on his business card and gave it to me. Granted not a contract but certainly a commitment.

As I was leaving I told Jeremy I would get back to him by the next morning. Later that afternoon, I called him to accept the 26,500 offer. We traded information so he could start the paperwork and made a appointment for 10:15 AM the next morning. I arrived at 10:10 and gave Jeremy the keys so he could get "the actual mileage" off the car. Sometime later, maybe 10:30 sales manager Adrian comes over to tell me he can't honor the 26,500, he could only go to $26,000. Reluctantly I accepted that number. Jeremy brought me paperwork to sign so payoff the car and transfer the title. But then, Adrian is back, now about 11:00 am and he says "we can't do the deal." The car isn't worth it. His management will not approve the agreement we had. Maybe that should have happened before he made any offer??? Never, previous to now, did he say the offer was contingent on further approval.

I left the store, never to return or recommend to anyone. Not being able to trust what the "sales manager" says is unacceptable and unprofessional to say the least. Side note, I called the General Manager's office, left a voice mail saying I would like to share a very poor experience him, no response. Go somewhere else, these people to not care about their customers.

Drive the truck home 2hrs away, get close to the house and start hearing engine noise. Hasn't had the truck 2 weeks and drove it home then to the mechanic shop. Took to a local Ford dealership and mechanic says there is no way this truck was inspected and Certified. It has a major OIL LEAK, Needs Alignment & Turbo that couldn't have been missed.

Now he paid extra for full warranty that doesn't kick in till the 90 day mark and AutoNation is beating around the bush about fixing the truck they sold under false inspections almost 3,000 worth of work. They hang up when we call, put us on hold. The manager basically laughed at my wife and hung up on her. No regret for what they done to a 19 yr old kid trying to get his life started. So if you buy here inspect your vehicle good or you certainly will be out of pocket money to fix it 'cause they will refuse to help you and will string you along. After several attempts to buy a new or pre-owned Chevrolet Bolt from three dealers in the AutoNation family, today again, the misrepresentations online on their individual dealer websites, as well as in text and voice conversations appear to be their standard practice. Let me be very clear, misrepresentations is being generous.

The inventory on their website(s) is not current, in fact one dealer showed the same vehicle as a "New Arrival". I hit the Buy Now button on their website, completed all of the necessary required information including my SS#, hit submit and thought the car was sold. The next morning, I receive an email saying the car is not available. I speak with the sales manager who informs me that if I wanted to order a Chevy Bolt, I could go online order it and then the car would arrive sometime in late summer or early fall. Important point is I was buying the car at the MSRP advertised price. This was the second time I had attempted to buy a car from an AutoNation dealership, one in Texas and one in Arizona. One Sales Manager apologized and said "this is not a bait and switch tactic since we have nothing to switch you to". Wow, I haven't heard the term "bait and switch" term for a very long time.

Fast forward to today, I have been trying to buy a pre-owned Bolt from AutoNation Acura in Colorado Springs. Two weeks ago I signed the buyer's sheet, and was told multiple times the paperwork had been sent to a notary here in California. BTW I agreed to the $400 notary service fee without hesitation. Also provided my credit card number for a deposit.

The sales person is very responsive, but no paperwork arrived. Then I was told they will FedEx the paperwork directly for a Monday or Tuesday arrival. No paperwork. Then yesterday, June 7,th, I was told the FedEx package would arrive today. Asked for a tracking number yesterday, and as of this morning, the paperwork has not been picked up by FedEx. Left a message for the General Manager of the dealership, Jeremy, and asked him to call me today before lunch his time. Unsurprisingly, he has not called back.

IMHO-Don't waste your time in going to an AutoNation dealership, or shop/buy online. As consumers we have multiple choices with large automotive companies (Penske, CarMax, etc.) as well as independent dealers. As a car hobbyist and collector, I have helped over 400 friends and family in purchasing cars. Net net pre-pandemic, I have purchased cars from AutoNation in the past at a local AutoNation dealer and had positive experiences. Perhaps their new approach to customers is a result of complacency or lack of interest in long term car buying relationships.

This review is a few months in the making. Not a buyer's remorse issue. I've just been too busy to do this, until now. I purchased a vehicle from AutoNation in Colorado Springs, CO, last December. The vehicle I purchased is not the same trim level as the one they advertised to me. I wound up buying a standard Lexus RX 350, but the dealership represented it as an "F Sport" model. Being a new Lexus owner I had limited knowledge of how these models are reported - which is what any buyer should expect from a dealership: product knowledge. In fact the sales manager told me Lexus did not badge their F Sport models during the model year that I was buying.

Fast forward a couple of months with lingering suspicions in my mind. I went to the Lexus dealer across the street from Autonation, ran my VIN and they came back and unequivocally told me my vehicle was NOT an F Sport. I wonder why the staff at Autonation didn't verify this before advertising the vehicle incorrectly. I went back to Autonation and told them what transpired and asked for an exchange into another vehicle. The salesman was the only one who took my concerns seriously and realized the mistake the dealership made. Unfortunately, he was in no position to make things right. So, I wound up talking to the sales manager (the same one who claimed Lexus did not put "F Sport" badges on 2016 model vehicles) and asked to exchange the vehicle for one of two others I was willing to buy instead.

After much hemming and hawing, he comes out and tells me nothing in my contract states that the vehicle I purchased identifies it as an F Sport. This opened up a huge grey area in how Autonation promotes their inventory. The CarFax shows it as a "Base/F Sport" model. My final sales paperwork (after sitting around in the dealership for a few hours, of course), doesn't specify if it's a "Base" or "F Sport" model. It only identifies it as the vehicle model with no additional specifications. However, the Carfax report they asked me to initial so they could file it in the sales file, states the vehicle is a "Base/F Sport". This is easily construed to mean the vehicle is a base model, with F Sport upgrades.

Additionally, the fact that the sales manager made it a point to falsely claim that Lexus did not badge their F Sport models for that model year, strongly indicates he knew the actual vehicle trim level and tried to re-direct me toward buying the vehicle regardless of whether he was selling me the vehicle I WANTED, or not. The final outcome is that I'm a less-than-satisfied Autonation customer. I know the whole "buyer beware" and "car dealers are all the same" and I did my best - considering the circumstances - to ensure a fair transaction. With that said, clearly there are plenty of cracks in the transaction process some automotive enterprises are willing to exploit and there is little chance consumers can cover all of them to protect themselves.

When it came time for the staff at this Autonation dealership to correct the mistake THEY made, all they were willing to offer me is a whole new trade on another vehicle (costing me over $4K in lost expenses), and a whole lot of weaseling to try and disassociate themselves from a botched transaction. This amounts to them saying "Our mistake, but your loss anyway". They mis-represented the vehicle they offered for sale and refused to correct that mistake. Plain and simple.

I would NOT recommend this business to any car buyer. In fact this type of misrepresentation is illegal in my state. My only barrier to pursuing legal relief is that I didn't record the entire 5-hour experience as evidence. Nor should I, or anyone else, have to go to these lengths to protect themselves. Autonation promotes its business as a conscientious one, standing by to serve their clients' needs. I have found them to follow in the same footsteps as any other car dealer - all negative implications included.

I strongly recommend anyone who intends to purchase a vehicle from Autonation, conduct painstaking research on what this dealership is selling them and cross-reference their information with a manufacturer's dealership, before signing ANYTHING. There are still plenty of loopholes businesses like this will exploit in order to part you from your money. Otherwise, find a more reputable dealer where you can buy with confidence. Caveat: my salesperson was decent and made his efforts to assist in fixing the issue. I just wish he worked at a more reputable enterprise than Autonation.

Service department fixed a fuel injector in cylinder 3 and said I was good to go. 3 weeks later, and only 4 days after my warranty expired, the p0304 code came back. Took it back to service department who says it’s a “new issue” and not covered under warranty or under their negligence to fix it the first time. Now I’m out a working vehicle because when I took it to a different mechanic they say it’s a piston- a very pricy mistake for Autonation to confuse for a fuel injector on a different cylinder. Autonation then contacted me again to do the check for free, said it was bad lifters, head, seals, gaskets, etc.

Mind you this vehicle had been correctly maintained according to schedule since it was purchased according to all records and carfax. I’ve never even off roadbed it in the 2 years I’ve owned it. Still refusing to admit that the first time that I brought it in, they failed to diagnose the correct cylinder issue. They worked with Chrysler to try to come to a resolution, but ultimately said I was responsible for repairs. Repairs that should be covered under the initial warranty period since I did bring it in under the same code. They had cleared the code the first time and it only took a couple hundred miles to recur, telling me and any experienced mechanic that it’s the same issue I experienced and brought it in for. They are trying to hold me accountable for a repair they didn’t fix the first time.

We purchased a Prepaid Maintenance Program after the Toyota Care expired on our Tundra. The contract provides for 3 services over a period of 2 years, unlimited miles. The language of the completed service states: "Multi-I multi-point inspection (MPI) included, battery test, visual brake inspection, visual tire inspection, battery test, visual brake inspection, visual tire inspection, Pennzoil platinum full synthetic oil and filter service 5 qt, Toyota maintenance contract - (3 visits) - oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection ea ~|~toyota maintenance contract - (3 visits) - oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection each visit. 3 year expiration date. ~|~, Toyota maintenance contract - (3 visits) - oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection ea, tires - rotate, complimentary inspection, use precision part cabin filter."

On Wednesday, 9 Nov 22, we arrived at our appointment early and told the service rep that we'll be waiting on site. The rep performed his intake and moved my vehicle outside and placed it in line. I watched the technician pull my vehicle into the service bay at 2:33 pm. (48 minutes after my scheduled appointment time 1:45 pm). I watched the technicians change the oil, made the under-the-hood checks, and looked at the cabin filter. I did not observe them rotate the tires, but I was reassured by the Assistant Service manager that upon review of the bay video, the technician moved the tires from front to rear on each side. They do not perform a true tire rotation that includes balancing (Consumer Beware). My vehicle was removed from the bay about 45 minutes later at 3:20 pm.

This is my 2d Tundra and 6th vehicle we've purchased from this facility since 2005. We have always waited on-site and have enjoyed "in-progress" updates from the service representative during our service visits, these are no longer given. I looked for the service manager, Mr. ** several times, but kept missing him (he seemed to be in and out of meetings during the 3+ hours I was there). I will be searching for another dealership, probably in Colorado Springs, to perform my next full service and you can bet I'll be recording it for posterity.

I bought a Toyota Tundra in December 2021 and paid cash via my bank's money order. After receiving the plates and registration via the mail I noticed the registration was wrong. It stated that it had a lienholder on my truck listed as my bank. Since I paid cash I immediately called multiple times for a period of 3 months and was told by the finance manager Alex ** that the problem was being handled. I then tried to file a complaint with Toyota Motor corporation and they tried to reach out to the dealership basically telling me they can't do nothing on my behalf. It was up to the dealership and after 3 weeks the finance manager calls me and tells me they have submitted the paperwork to the DMV and that I should get my title in 3 weeks.

A month or two pass and I get a registration from the DMV stating the lienholder was now the dealership. I then called back for more months of the same lies and run around. Saying they were fixing the paperwork and sending it to the DMV and it will be taken care of. Almost two months ago fed up I go down in person and I speak to Jesus in finance to gives me his boss who he claims is an acting finance manager Leo ** who has the title of customer financial service manager. Who claims he's handling things directly and it shouldn't take no more than two weeks and he will email me and call me. No word again, no return calls. I've also filed a complaint with the better business bureau which they promptly ignored as well. I'm at my wit's end trying to get the title of my truck that I paid cash for almost a year ago.

They checked out the car, gave me a price, lower than I expected but I eventually agreed to it. THEN they did the paperwork and found the title said 110K but the actual mile was 107K. Which means the car had less miles which should make it worth slightly more. Well I was not expecting them to give me a penny more and I was OK with that. BUT and it's a big BUT, they stated that because the actual mileage was less than the mileage on the title they are taking $1,000 of the price. Don't waste your time here, they are the poster children for Shady.

I purchased a 2008 Corvette from the San Antonio dealership via the website on September 8th, 2022. The vehicle was delivered to my home in Wisconsin on September 12th. It has been driven less than 500 miles and the transmission was not right from the day of delivery. There is almost nothing about the behavior of the vehicle's transmission that is normal... hard shifts, gear slippage during acceleration, revving between gear changes. There is zero chance this issue was not known prior to sale. The vehicle pictures on the dealership website have the Auto Nation Certified sticker on the windshield, and I have the signed 90 day warranty that was completed and sent over with my purchase agreement and paperwork. It is completely filled out and was signed as requested by the dealership.

I took the vehicle to a mechanic and it has been determined that the transmission is bad on the vehicle and needs to be replaced. When the repair facility called the warranty company, they could not find the policy in their system and was instructed to call the dealership. When contacted, the manager stated the woman who was supposed to enter that information was terminated and no longer employed and that he would call back. A few minutes later he called and stated that Auto Nation does not do warranties for vehicles over 10 years or 175k miles and there is no coverage. There is absolutely no way I would purchase a vehicle without driving it if no warranty was included in the purchase.

I was sent a warranty contract with the vehicle information completed by the dealership - which I signed along with the purchasing documents of the transaction. Emails to the CEO and other executive level management have not been acknowledged, so I will be using all avenues available to hold the dealership accountable.

In fact, Manny told us it wasn't their fault, so they were doing us a "favor" in investigating why it wasn't paid off??? Huh? Totally unprofessional company and dealership. I purchased a vehicle from AutoNation Buick GMC on Sahara, in Las Vegas NV, after literal MONTHS of searching for the ‘right’ vehicle upgrade for my family. I found a 2018 Tahoe from AutoNation GMC Buick and after my husband test drove it we decided to purchase. The purchase process and our salesman was amazing. It took less than 3 hours and we were out, and at the time thrilled. This is when it all started going downhill. Less than 24 hours later there was a horrible clunking noise every time we accelerated, we called our salesman and he had us bring it the following Monday. This would be the 1st of FIVE times we had to take our vehicle in to be serviced. We were told the motor mounts were bad, the truck was in their shop for 5 days for this and they replaced them and we took our truck home.

In the 4 months since April (when we purchased our vehicle) we’ve put less than 3,000 miles on our truck but it has been in the shop 4 more times, each time for no less than 5 days. Each time we took it back it was for the same issue. The check engine light would flash, the truck would go into ‘limp mode’ which caused us to lose all power and in turn cause driveability issues. This could occur while going 20 MPH down a road or even down the freeway at 80 MPH, essentially leaving us at a near dead stop in the middle of whatever road/highway we were on. Clearly unsafe. We have had the truck in their shop for a total of 3 and a half weeks, they have never been able to figure out the actual problem with it, but have used my warranty to replace 2 parts, neither of which fixed the issue.

The last time we took our vehicle in we were basically told by John Wong in service, that there was nothing they could do for us because they ‘couldn’t duplicate the problem’, but they were unwilling to drive the truck in order for it to do so. He then told my husband that if it made him happy they would just continue to ‘throw parts at it, as long as our warranty company allowed it’.

Being totally frustrated and upset that we had to make yet another truck payment without having a safe, working vehicle, my husband took it to another GMC dealership. We had an answer and a fix to the issue within a day. A problem that AutoNation could have fixed had they made even a smidge of effort to actually take the time to listen to their customer, diagnose the problem, and allow their mechanics to do more than ‘Just throw parts at it’.

This morning 8/30/2022 my husband went back AGAIN in an effort to let them know the problem found a possibly get some sort of apology instead, when speaking to the Service Manager Mike he was told that ‘he didn’t know what he wanted from him’ and ‘we got at least 300 miles in between each time the light went on’ as if that was something we should feel lucky to have. He said would ‘throw us 2 free oil changes’ for all the past months of hassle. No apology, no explanation for the rude interactions we received from John, no explanation why we could never get a call back and we had to go to the dealership MANY times just to get an update on the status of repairs, just ‘a couple of oil changes’. WHY IN THE WORLD would I EVER take my vehicle back to them?

To be fully honest and completely fair, my husband did speak to the GM of the dealership, Nick, and he was very nice and apologetic, but again the only thing he had to offer was oil changes, except he included a loaner car from them while my oil change was being done. I refuse to have any work done by a service team that at this point I wouldn't trust to work on a Power Wheel.

This is second vehicle we have purchased from AutoNation and we would have continued to be customers had we been treated like people who had purchased a 50K vehicle, rather than treated like an annoyance and given the run around for months, even after knowing that I have small children and the vehicle wasn’t safe or reliable to drive. I hope that by submitting this review to AutoNation, General Motors Corporate and our Warranty company that it saves another customer time, frustration and money and gives them the motivation to go literally anywhere else.

I called Mario (sales) to let him know about the damage, and he assured me that the damage must’ve been done during the transit, since the car had no such damage when it was at the dealership. I called the transportation company relative to the damage done, and was then provided pictures of the car during the pick up at Corpus Christi AutoNation.

With the dealership in the background, I saw the photos of the wrecked damage of the quarter-panel prior to the car being loaded on the truck. I have tried reaching out to Mario, the sales manager Speedy and the dealership, but I am being completely ignored. I am hoping someone finally reaches out to me so I can take this post down, but I’m not holding my breath considering how I’ve been ignored by everyone I’ve reached out to at this dealership.

He said that they won't look at it otherwise. They tried to charge me for my check engine light on, yet it was not on???? I found a new Corvette in Austin and it became available, he told me to contact the sales person, it was on hold. Once I contacted them, they said it just sold as well.

So they were the days only thing I had asked him to do, I had some damage on my bumper on my truck and ask them to go ahead and fix it and I would pay for it. David ** agreed to give me the bumper at 10% over cost which was employee pricing and he was going to paint it and also a little plastic fittings for the bumper he was just gonna go ahead and take care of.

Travis then contacted David and told him the deals off, do not do any business with me on this because I wasn’t gonna be happy because every time I try to buy a vehicle from them they did not go through. This is the worst company to ever buy a vehicle from, to do any kind of service with, they make all kind of promises that they cannot keep. Travis **'s feelings got hurt because I called him and said, "I don’t understand how you’re the market manager and you can’t even get a car put on hold" and she said, "You did." I have called their customer service and nobody has ever called me back.

He also explained how the vehicle passed a detailed inspection and that AutoNation would take care of any problems that come up in the next 3 months.

I drove the vehicle 3 hours home and noticed a "ticking" noise coming from the engine when idling at a stoplight. When I got the vehicle home, I noticed the airbag light illuminated on the dashboard. I called Cam and advised him of the noise and airbag light. The noise wasn't as big a concern as the airbag light. I was given the run-around by Cam who told me he would check with his manager, Yevgeni. After two days without a returned call, I tried to call Cam back and was immediately sent to his voicemail. I have made several calls and they all go to his voicemail. I have called the dealership 4 times but each time, they tell me someone will call... It's been over 7 days and nobody has called.

I took the vehicle to Lotus of Naples, as they are the closest dealership to me. Lotus confirmed the airbag error and suggested I fix the problem as it's a serious safety issue that could lead to a malfunction of the airbag system. I was forced to have the light reset as fixing the problem would cost more than my $264 diagnosis fee. I called AutoNation to seek guidance on this situation but was told the General Manager would need to resolve this issue and that he was unavailable. This place seems to lack a moral compass and appears only interested in making the sale. Avoid this place!!! I will update this review if something changes... Thanks- JE **

The manager said the customer had been in previously and came back to make the purchase. The salesman and the manager both knew I was returning that day and never even gave me a chance to test drive and make a purchase. I think very underhanded. This is a 0 star review... I went in on Friday 10-22-21 to the Autonation Dealership in NorthGlenn, CO. I picked a vehicle and proceeded to try and purchase it. It's now 6 days later and I am officially done trying to give Autonation any of my money. My first mistake was assuming that Autonation would work with me when I was already pre-approved with my credit union and just wanted to purchase the vehicle I chose. Apparently the only way they will be willing to sell me the vehicle is if I financed through them. Going back and forth for the last 6 days, jumping through all the hoops they put in front of me trying to get me to finance through them and not use my credit union has finally taken its toll and I will move on.

I absolutely loved the vehicle I wanted to buy...My credit union had a check ready to give...but because I wouldn't finance through them they put up every roadblock you could possibly imagine. I have chatted with customer care through the website asking for someone from corporate to contact me (twice), I called the customer care line and was told that I would only get a quick response if I sent an email, I called and left a message for ALL the managers at the dealership to call me back....and the only ones that would are the sales managers (the same ones that aren't trying to help me buy this car). The original salesman George that started with me would never return my calls or texts....When I would finally get him on the phone he would never remember who I was...

The sales manager Anthony only called me once....The sales manager Casey became very rude and short with me when I challenged everything reasoning he was giving me as to why we couldn't move forward....ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EVER. I would have never thought that a car dealership would push so hard TO NOT SELL a car!!! I didn't argue about the price...nothing....I came in to see the car I saw online and just wanted to buy....BUT NO. All I can do is complain and let EVERY SINGLE person I know hear about this experience...because literally NO ONE CARES. Hopefully my extremely poor reviews of this place will steer people clear from there.

They did the same thing to me two weeks prior.

I do not know what all the lights and noises are in the car. I asked for my owner's manual. They didn't have one so they sent me one for an A4, I did not buy an A4. I bought a S4. In June 2021 I purchased what I believed to be a premium suv from Lexus of Clearwater. Two months later, I realize that while I did purchase an suv, it is neither premium or safe. Instead, I was sold a vehicle with a failing ABS system, malfunctioning air conditioning, broken door handles, non-functioning cruise control, damaged stereo speakers, a cracked dash, etc. The failed brake system is the reason for my review and warning to buyers. The dealership knew that there was a problem with the brake system yet sold me the car anyway. I notified them 24-hours after my purchase that something was horribly wrong with the brakes and made arrangements to have it serviced. I was told that nothing was wrong. A week later the system failed. Yep....Completely locked up. Luckily I was traveling at a very slow speed. Had I still been on the highway, the lockup could have killed me, my husband, my children and other nearby motorists.

What kind of sleazy, slimy, dirty people intentionally sell a mechanically unsafe vehicle to a disabled veteran and his family? How unscrupulous must you be to put someone in harm's way just to sell a car? The CEO of AutoNation should be ashamed. Me. CEO, if you think your vehicles are so amazing, why don’t you come pick up my Cadi and drive YOUR family around town. Play the same game of Russian roulette with their lives that your saleman, service techs, and managers have forced me to pay with MY family. The bottom line...don’t shop AutoNation and don’t shop Lexus of Clearwater. They don’t care about your life, only your money.

Avoid at all cost! We took our Honda Fit to the Autonation Honda dealership for some safety recalls, a tune-up (sparkplugs, wires, distributor & replacing the valve cover gaskets), break-job and to fix the AC which had stopped blowing cold and had to be partially replaced. For these services they charged $3200, but we were willing to pay a little more knowing it would be done with official Honda parts by the Honda experts. WRONG! In the week since we have had the car back, the AC blows cool not cold, the engine is miss-firing on a cylinder, either from the sparkplugs not being gapped properly or from the tech allowing debris to get into the valves when he had the cover off, and one of the rotors is making a grinding noise from a botched break-job. Took it back to the shop and they refuse to warranty their work!! Not only that, but it turns out they didn’t use Honda parts but charged Honda rates.

In fact, one part was backordered so they had a tech clean & oil the old part “really well” and charged us the price for the new part!! Plus that part that the tech cleaned up, is squeaking. The shop wants us to pay for these repairs again if we want the issues they caused addressed. We could not be more sick. We spent double what we would have paid elsewhere and the car is in worse shape for it. From using discount parts, to having techs refurb parts while charging for new, and then refusing to correct the mistakes of their mechanics…. After reviewing the website I received a call from a salesman. I eventually went to the dealership to make a deal. I needed to get out of my old truck and trade down to save some money. The only truck they showed me that really had the features and power that I needed is a 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 5.7L Hemi. I bought it, probably paid too much, and began driving it. Now, less than 30 days after the purchase the tire inflation system is not working properly, the radio comes on and off at random times, the brake light is on (I waited three days for the brakes to be replaced before I could buy it). And, I have found that the driver side wheel well is broken up and parts of it are missing, and the front bumper has been replaced with a generic bumper that doesn't fit properly.

I purchased the extended warranty, against my will, and now have been told that I cannot cancel it for one year. I paid $3,000 for a 24 mo/24,000 mile warranty that covers almost nothing. I have contacted Dirk in finance (a dishonest and pushy man) and LaVonna (sales person). Both have assured me there is nothing they can do. "You bought the truck with whatever flaws it might have". 3 shops, 2 Tows, 18 phone calls and NO RESPONSE FROM AUTONATION DEALER CENTENNIAL COLORADO. We purchased a car in October 2020. Having numerous issues from windshield replacement to getting inflation kit for tires, Vehicle completely stalled on Freeway, I- 70. In the midst of a storm and Dealer would not cooperate, in turn We had to purchase AAA while being towed as it was a cheaper option for the money we had. Your Dealership added in 2 warranties and denied GAP stating we did not need it because Autonation price along with 1000.00 down, that it had enough equity in it so we would be wasting our money.

We had numerous issues with the car and had to ask the dealership to help, they then said we have a power train warranty, that we are paying for, $3348 referred to as Vehicle protection plan. As well as another warranty for $652.00 called Mopar Vehicle protection plan/Chrysler maintenance. So Here we are 6 months later, car was broke down for two of those months. The warranties were not covering anything from thermostat to hoses or alignments, the car's tires about blew up from an alignment problem, that resulted in a tow of 100 miles and was NOT covered under any of the plans. AAA helped us there!

After that last encounter I have called every week, I have sent Texts and spoke to Salesman, because they didn't have a secretary, you must ask to be transferred to Management just to leave an unanswered voicemail. OR..tell the sales person your problem and they would help. I have recorded phone calls, and texts that are still unanswered. I wanted to cancel the warranties, which we were told we could cancel anytime. Not true! Since November, I have had no response from Autonation. I know they go by mileage or time so I figured they were ignoring us for a reason since AUTONATION GETS PART OF THE MONEY FROM WARRANTIES SOLD TO CUSTOMERS.

Now we are entering a new problem. The car, is totalled from an accident. I CALLED ON 5-2-2021The day after the accident to get some answers. And to cancel warranties. I've still not heard back, 3 weeks later. The fact that I told the salesman that my son was buying his first car, 740 credit score. And that he was disabled, learning, reading disability, and blind in one eye... That we were looking for a safe vehicle/car with a back up camera and other safety features. Once they reeled him in, they got him to sign that contract in the time it took me to go to the Restroom. I questioned the high percentage rate that was to be negotiable in the sales office according to Jordan our salesman. The Manager name is Jacob **.

Besides them taking full advantage of my Son, all they said was you can refinance in a couple of months, by then it was late and we were the last ones there. 5 hours later. I have spoke with a salesman named Moose, one named Jordan, Kevin and Kayla. In trying to go above the dealership's head, They have more power than the Bank/Lienholder. The dealership is the only one that can cancel these warranties and they SIMPLY WILL NOT, HAVE NOT Done so.

The Finance company chosen is Called ALLY BANK, According to them they cannot do anything! They also did not oversee the insurance, As it happens, we did not have full coverage on this vehicle which I thought was mandated by Colorado or Lienholder. My insurances said they notified the Lienholder and says they overlooked it. Therefore we, my son and I have to pay this vehicle off even though it's totalled. When we could have AT LEAST HAD GAP INSURANCE, had they not been so hastily pushing my son to sign that ONE PAGE!

Oh and Autonation won't even pay the towing that was supposed to be included in one of the warranties! We are facing abandonment charges from the Colorado State Patrol for not picking up the smashed vehicle. This has been a nightmare. JUST TO BE CLEAR... This is Autonation Dodge Ram Arapahoe in CENTENNIAL COLORADO. I would hope that this company will make it right BUT I Probably will not get a response, so I will post this and have to go through The American Disability Act for Consumers as well as a Lawyer, the BBB And hopefully whoever reads this can accompany me. I'm pretty sure that the recall on this car, that I received today is what caused us to stall on I70, Ms. **.

BAIT AND SWITCH. Dishonest. Misrepresentations. Credit Ruining. UPDATE 4.5.2021: Despite indisputable evidence proving otherwise, AN Inc. found no fault on their part & has offered & attempted no resolution. The lender Fifth Third Bank HAS apologized for their errors & has taken steps to repair my credit score. I have never experienced such an untrustworthy company, or a company so unwilling to apologize & correct their dishonesty, misrepresentations, and mistakes. My car purchase experience with them has negatively affected my financial options during a pandemic, permanently damaged my credit score, caused me to be unable to use the vehicle as I need to, & also deeply affected my personal well-being.

I am a single female in my early 30s. I purchased a new vehicle from AN in June 2020. This is my first car purchase & my primary vehicle - which is required to pull a small horse trailer. AN was deceitful, misleading, condescending, & ultimately unapologetic & unwilling to acknowledge their failures & make any amends. If you value honesty, integrity & respect from the companies you spend your money with, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. If you must do business with AN, I urge you to take an attorney, or someone knowledgeable with you to EVERY interaction with them.

    1. AN misrepresented the availability of the manual addition of a tow hitch to close the deal. This was mandatory for my purchase, I would not have bought this car from AN without a trailer hitch, or the immediate availability to attach a trailer hitch. I mentioned this numerous times to them as being of utmost importance. AN's solution to the vehicle not coming with an attached trailer hitch was to include the addition of one in the purchase for immediate installation. After weeks trying to get an installation appointment for the hitch, & even bringing my car in for an appointment for the purpose of getting the hitch installed - AN finally admitted that they have been backordered on trailer hitches for months - & that it would be 2021 before they had a hitch available, so I am unable to pull my horse trailer!

    2. They miscalculated the initial purchase numbers of the vehicle. This directly impacted the level of exhaustion of the deal going back &forth due to their errors, when I had already had the vehicle in my possession for over a week. Since this was my first large purchase my father was with me as an observer on the first day of this transaction. Did they purposely make mistakes so that I would need to return to the dealership alone & they could take advantage of my purchasing inexperience? I was required to make multiple, repeat, store visits to sign new electronic paperwork fixing errors that they had made & was shuffled to multiple employees despite making appointments with the finance team member I had been dealing with directly from the beginning. I ultimately signed the final paperwork on a tablet 9 days after taking the car home.

    3. AN changed the agreed upon loan package on my final paperwork. AN agreed to use the loan I had obtained from Bank of America (BoA) and instructed them to use. AN was responsible for the paperwork & changed the Agreement by putting a relatively unknown bank (Fifth Third Bank "FTB") with a higher interest rate as the lender on my paperwork. When confronted with this dishonesty, AN refused to respond to me. When I escalated the matter to Eric **, the General Manager of ANCJA , he stated that it’s a “he said, she said” situation.

When I informed him that I had email documentation & could forward it to him, he requested I send it. I sent ** the requested documentation immediately & at this point had some hope this matter would be resolved fairly & swiftly. ** then refused to engage with me, when I reached him again he made numerous claims of what they “cannot do” and did not even apologize for their deceit. I do not believe that he was or is helpless and powerless to satisfy my requests or offer any solutions.

Time estimate for repairs was given to be 4 weeks at the high-end. Without any major unforeseen additional work, AutoNation Collision went into week 9 until the car was declared ready for pick-up. Throughout this process we were lied to, strung along, and from what we were told the car sat idle for over 2 weeks waiting to go be painted. Additional delays were blamed by AutoNation Collision Center on BMW of Delray Beach (who we were told were responsible for the technology within the car, a headrest problem, and detailing the car which we were told took close to a week causing additional delay?), neither being accountable and both pointing the finger at each other. Upon receipt of the car several parts were very obviously not repaired properly. Some of these were fixed with attitude and reluctance, while we waited.

Considering the car took an almost ADDITIONAL 5 weeks to repair, it is expected for the work to be completed well. In reality, this is to be expected based on the promise of the AutoNation Collision Center and BMW of Delray Beach to begin with; especially taking more than twice the time there is no excuse for careless work. Actually, Tom from AutoNation Collision told us that he was extremely proud of the work done on the car. Upon pick-up of the car it had an additional 100 miles on it? It was identified that the back passenger door was not closing properly and that glue or paint (whatever the substance is) was splattered all over the back of the passenger seat and having eaten into the leather. We were told that BMW of Delray Beach would resolve these problems and to take the car there.

In addition, we were then told that despite the car having been delayed into a 9 week process, we now had to wait 2 weeks until the BMW of Delray Beach service department could coordinate the appointment with a loaner vehicle. So we waited an additional 2 weeks. During this time, it also became apparent that the blind spot assist was not operating properly and the on-board computer had several malfunctions. Mentioning, that the AutoNation Collision Center had made extensive promises that the car had been at BMW of Delray Beach and that their techs had spent time assessing and checking all of the technology throughout the car (either this is not true or the service department of BMW of Delray Beach did an extremely poor job). An example of lies, the location of the car. Tom from AutoNation Collision Center had told us the car was at BMW of Delray Beach.

Since it had been several weeks, we went there and took a look at the car, seeing a lot of the un-repaired items. Since the car was not ready to be handed over, we assumed they would be fixed prior. We were wrong. When telling Tom that we had looked at the car at BMW and saw these issues with the car, his reply was, “the car was never at BMW of Delray Beach” and “no one touched these areas of the car”. Well why were they still out of place yet in the opposite way? Being lied to twice. When then motioning that we took photos of the car and some of the “obvious” outstanding issues at BMW of Delray Beach, no reply.

Why lie about where the car is to begin with, even after telling us where it is just for the sake of not being accountable for an unresolved issue, rather than simply saying, “sure, no problem, well fix it” (some of these issues were not a big deal, and were obvious repairs, such as brackets not snapped in and deals out of place). Instant jump to defense and lack of accountability. The next excuse “I have other BMW 7 series on the lot with things identical”. Just like things were not identical to the side that had not been worked on, on our car, the things were not identical to the other 7 series present either. These are just two examples of lies and ** that occurred within a 30 minute time-frame. Imagine the amount of lies and ** over the course of 9 weeks.

The car was left with the service department of BMW of Delray Beach to be fixed as requested by the AutoNation Collision Center. This process took another additional week. According to BMW of Delray Beach service and the AutoNation Collision Center the car was fixed after this additional week and signed off on. When in reality the glue/paint was removed from the back of the seat, however had eaten a hole into the leather. Instead of replacing the back-rest to restore it to its original order, a pathetic and poor home-patch attempt was used to try to cover the damage. The glue/paint or scratch on the wood of the back seat that was also supposed to be remedied remains. The same glue/paint is on the dashboard also and has left a mark in the leather.

The passenger door, that was continued to be argued sounded “great” upon closing by both BMW of Delray Beach and the AutoNation Collision Center, has scratches inside of the car frame-paint and on the hard-plastic of the door. Obviously the door does not line up correctly and does not sound “great” when closing. Additionally, the trunk-paint-job has a knob of paint sticking out of it. The leather under the passenger door is ripped. The buffer job done prior to pick-up of the car during this last visit must have been done with sand-paper.

In summary, we left the car at BMW of Delray Beach and with the AutoNation Collision department going into week 9, receiving a car that was trashed (are door handles used or are the doors simply kicked open?), with obvious parts sticking out and missing, being told that this is how they are on all 7 series BMWs and then reluctantly fixing them (the other 7 series on the lot did not have these issues, which were obvious without looking at a comparable car), after 9 weeks, had to wait 2 weeks to get the car into BMW of Delray Beach service department, where the car spent another week, only to get it back with a home-kit-patch-job and all remaining issues (the only thing having improved, being the blind-spot-assist).

Both BMW of Delray Beach and the AutoNation Collision Center promise a superior service experience, superior craftsmanship being performed by BMW certified technicians that reflect this standard. Instead we received poor communication, attitude, lies, endless hours of phone calls, appointments, an 11 week process (that was supposed to be maximum 4, and is still on-going because of additional damage these technicians caused during the process and a poor effort in repairs), and a car that is a butchered mess. Is this the level of service and quality that BMW of Delray Beach, AutoNation, and the AutoNation Collision Center find acceptable?

The sloppy work has ruined the dashboard leather of the car (how will this be fixed, another patch job? A new dashboard installation which will cause further-future problems? During which installation more damage will be done to the car as was during the original work?), the back panel of the passenger seat (leather and wood) (how will this be fixed, another patch-job like this first attempt? A new seat panel installation which will cause further future problems? During which installation more damage will be done to the car as was during the original work?), the leather under the passenger door (how will this be fixed, another patch job? A new panel installation which will cause further future problems?

During which installation more damage will be done to the car as was during the original work?), and the trunk paint-job (how will this be fixed, another patch job, sanding it down and spot-re-painting? Re-painting the entire trunk which will make colors not match, during the installation will more damage be done to the car as was during the original work (paint all over the interior that ruins leather and wood?). These are not repairs, this is damage caused by careless and effortless work, that had it been done with care and regard to begin with, would have not been an issue.

What now? More patch-jobs? More ineffectual service visits? Another several weeks of not having the car? More of my time wasted? More attitude and lies while the car disappears into a seemingly black-hole? How much more additional damage will you do to the car trying to fix the damage that you have done? I’m horrified to leave my car again, considering what has been done to it, and certainly do not want it going back to the AutoNation Collision Center.

I just purchased a used Toyota FJ cruiser (only 52K miles) from Autonation Pinellas Park Toyota site unseen after finding it advertised online. The sales personnel involved were all very pleasant and the transaction was smooth. The problem was after delivery. The vehicle was transported from the dealership and arrived to me 12 days after purchase. I didn’t drive it the first two days because of rain but by the third day when I drove it the check engine light was on (after less than 10 miles of total driving).

I emailed the used car sales manager and he told me to take it to the closest AutoNation dealership. That was 200 miles from me and none of the three AutoNation dealerships in that city were Toyota dealers. I emailed him back and he said it didn’t matter as any AutoNation dealer would do. So, I drove 200 miles to a AutoNation Honda dealership and a very nice service advisor said what should have been done was I should’ve been given a warranty claim number so that I can take it to the closest Toyota dealership near me to have them evaluate the problem. He also said his Honda dealership did not have the diagnostic equipment to determine what the problem was and said he would have to outsource it to a local Toyota dealership himself. He did provide me with a claim number and I took it to my local Toyota dealership who noted that one of the Catalytic converters was bad.

The Toyota service advisor contacted Autonations’ claim department and was told that catalytic converters are not covered under any of their warranty policies. Replacement cost would be an excess of $1,000. I then wrote a letter to the Pinellas Park dealership and asked them to consider paying “all or Part” of the catalytic converter replacement cost. I then followed up with a phone call to them again and the request was denied.

FYI - AutoNation has a “Five day No questions asked return on any vehicle purchased.” If I had been a local buyer then I assume I would’ve been able to bring the vehicle back to the dealership and they would’ve repaired it. But if you are from Out of State the Five Day period will most likely expire before the car is even delivered to you. So, my words of warning to anyone considering buying online or Out of State from AutoNation or in particular this dealership is that you should realize that any problem with the vehicle will be your problem. My problem occurred within the first 10 miles of driving the vehicle and you would expect a dealership to step up and do the right thing.

I understand perfectly that catalytic converters are not covered under extended warranty’s BUT ANY problem that occurs within the first 3 days or 10 miles of driving after delivery of a newly purchased vehicle should be covered. You have a false sense of security based on Autonations’ 5 day policy and 90 day warranty. So, the used car manager said that if I could bring it back and he would repair it, but since I live 900 miles away he knows that won’t happen. Keep that in mind when you are considering buying Online/Out of State from an Autonation dealership. This dealer could have easily made a small concession by supplying the Catalytic converter and I would have paid the installation and they would have had a happy customer. So, remember Autonations’ claim of service at any of their dealerships is very misleading and rings hollow as exampled by my taking it to the closest dealership to me. And need I say more about their warranty coverage.

I am sure that Pinellas Park Toyota will post their standard response to this complaint of we regret your experience with us but please reach out to our General Manager…. They have my email address and phone number. At this point, I do not expect Autonation will reconsider covering any of the cost of this repair and my only motivation in writing this is to make other prospective Autonation buyers aware of these issues which should give them pause.

    Sincerely,

    Edwin **, M.D.

I purchased a used truck and bought an aftermarket warranty. I specifically wanted the warranty because diesel trucks have emissions issues. I was told the warranty was bumper to bumper and when I read it it there was no exclusion for diesel engines. My truck broke down 3 months later and AutoNation refused to cover the repair because it was an exhaust issue. In diesel trucks an emissions issue will cause the motor to shut down and limit speed to 5mph, so I was unable to drive the truck and had to have it towed.

The warranty was refundable for any reason on a prorated basis. I called the finance manager who I worked with and he confirmed verbally I could get a refund and would email me the form I needed to complete. I never got an email and tried to call over 30 times. My messages were not returned. I emailed him and he hasn't responded. The phone system will not let you connect to a live person unless you go directly to either sales or service. They would not transfer me and only would take a message, which were never responded to. I live 1.5 hours from the dealership so just driving over not knowing if the person I need to speak to is there or not is very difficult. They are costing me a $2500 refund.

On that day I replaced #2 of those parts. I returned 3 days later, because my car was still leaking oil. So I then replaced another part. On 12/11/20 I was told I need # 4 parts changed. When I went back, I was told by another mechanic that I only needed #1 part. To conclude they had me to service #2 parts on the first date for nothing, I did not need the first #2 parts, I only needed #1 part.

I wish I had read the reviews of AutoNation before buying from the Fort Myers Toyota dealership. My wife and I purchased a Mercedes Benz convertible from this company, and we were lied to by the sales rep from the very beginning. They agreed to complete some simple repairs on the car that should have taken 2 or 3 days at the most. The salesman promised it'd be only 2 days, no problem, he just wanted the signed contract, and he knew we had a trip planned and needed the car. They've had it for over 2 weeks now, and they refused to provide a loaner.

Last week, we told them we were going to pick up the car whether the repairs had been completed or not, and as we were driving there, the salesman texted us that the service department had taken the front bumper off the car to repair a few chips and a small blemish in the paint. Five days later, we went to the service department to check on it, and they said they didn't even have a record of the car being there. They have our money (approx. $28k), and our car, and won't return either. The salesman will not respond to our inquiries, and management won't return our phone calls either. In my opinion, we've been scammed by this dealership. I am filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's office also.

When I was researching, I did not know that a lot of dealerships are owned by AutoNation. They own hundreds of dealerships across the country. After I bought my car which is a 2018 BMW, I started having all kinds of problems. I should have know this was going to happen because the customer service at the dealership was unbelievably horrible. They are like dealing with an old school used car lot. Very slimy and a bunch of liars, even at a high end dealership like BMW.

I started talking to my friends and told them that I bought from a dealership that was owned by AutoNation and many of them said "oh yeah, never buy from them, they are the worst". I then looked online and found all of the bad reviews that they have. I call this a lesson learned and now I am stuck with a bad car. Needless to say, I had it a year & started looking for another one. I found a 2017 XTS in Houston, over 200 miles away. I bought it & a few weeks later, the same noise again.

It still had warranty, so I took it to AutoNation in Corpus Christi, Tx. After being checked, the service advisor (Mr. **) told me that the car had been in an accident & wouldn’t fix it because warranty wouldn’t cover it. To take the car where I bought it. I took it to Houston (200 miles away) & the service advisor came back with my car in about 20 minutes & told me that it was 3 loose screws on the back bumper. The Houston dealership showed me the carfax that it had never been in an accident.

I started out looking for a good used Toyota Camry as I always buy with about 20,000 miles so I don't eat that depreciation so I usually deal with Carmax in my opinion the best place to go for a new/used car. 1 sheet of paper, everything is very transparent, no hidden fees or annoying salesperson throwing in extra stuff you have to be really careful of like AutoNation did to me.

I found a car online. I was looking for a Camry v6 still in good condition. They call me, I get there. It's total junk, had accidents on report although I made clear I wanted one owner, no rentals, no accidents and nothing from up north or close to a beach as it's too much rust damage which is exactly what this was. So I walked away and went back to CarMax site where I had a agent working with me to find a car to match the credentials but finding a newer used Camry with a v6 in it has gotten a lot harder to come by so I was on stand by.

When AutoNation calls back saying they had one in, I came in, looked at the car and decided I would get it but it had just came in so it had to be cleaned. I did my paperwork, put $4000 down on it and went home. Next day I get a call saying I was misinformed. The car was not a v6 so all bets off. Went back in to get my money back and saw the 2018 Camry and fell in love.

Long story short the whole ordeal was awful!! Was there 6 hours. They played game after game. I have had nothing but issues with service dept. Not worth it, best just to pay elsewhere and get it done. This was the one off of Thornton rd. Very very bad management. I could write a book on all the shady tricks they tried to pull but instead, I will tell you to run!! My daughter wanted a new rav4 after I got mine and after my experience, she would not go to AutoNation. She went to Newnan Toyota, I went with her since I had been through it and a total different experience, this place is great! It is now going on 9 days that my truck has been at their shop and I am now told that the wrong parts were ordered so it will take even longer and on top of that in the midst of my truck being at the dealership shop this long I have been updated that there is a clerical issue with my warranty (wasn't told this when I had a previous warranty repair about 2 months ago at that same location with the same service advisor Hayden) and also that my tire is flat from a nail and advised me to contact the store I purchased the tires from. Are you kidding me!!! They had my truck for almost 9 days and insinuating that the flat tire is my problem and my truck is still with them while they wait on the correct parts to arrive. I have twice had less than pleasant results dealing with AutoNation dealerships. While the ads may quote a fair price for the vehicle, be aware you will be charged $799 Dealer Service Fee, Tag Agency Fee, Tag/Registration fees far in excess of actual fees. This will add about $1000 to price of vehicle. On 2 occasions I had a trade in figure based on accurate information submitted on my trade in, and on both occasions the appraiser has "found additional problems" which result in a lower trade in offer - in the most recent case a reduction of $1000 from the figure offered online.

The dealer response is always these are corporate policies that we can't change. I'm sure most people suck it up and pay more than planned. I just walked away. I was willing to pay the extra charges on the car I was purchasing because it was equipped as I wanted, but was not willing to take a $1000 reduction on their appraisal offer when I had been offered $500 more than their original offer by a different dealer the previous week. Just be aware the advertised price of the vehicle is nowhere close to what you will end up paying. The first question I ask now is, "Are you an AutoNation dealership?" If the answer is Yes, be very careful, and be willing to walk away.

When we had issues and requested an inspection report, we discovered that they had in fact discovered this prior to selling it, didn’t repair it, and then sold the vehicle to us without disclosing the damage.

Now that we have discovered what they have done, they are refusing to pay for the repairs, rewind the deal or buy back the vehicle. This is clearly not a warranty issue since this was an issue that existed before we purchased it, and it was concealed from us as the consumer. We never asked (up to this point) for compensation for the extreme hardship this has caused. They are falsely advertising the quality of their vehicles and they know it. We have the documentation to prove it. Rather than doing the right thing here, they are refusing to make it right. Probably the absolute worst place to shop if you are counting on something honest and transparent. I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Elantra SEL from them, on Jan 29 and they pulled out every nasty trick on me to get me to pay more than the price they advertised. First of all, they did not honor the online price quoted at Autonation, even though it explicitly mentioned that incentives are available to everyone. Then they switched my model to a demo version with higher mileage (probably had been stock, longer!!) and different color (classic bait and switch!). Then after switching my choice for a car, they further changed the price than what they quoted me, which I later find out because the numbers did not match.

What ended up happening is that, instead of negotiating, they deliberately increased the payment term to reduce the payment against my wishes (72 instead of 60 and I ended up with a higher interest rate). The car ended up being ~17500 instead of the written quote of ~16700, and upon taking it up to the sales manager, neither them nor Autonation could come up with an explanation, except excuses that my car has additional protection. Surprisingly, a feature for which I did not have any sales receipt.

At the end I ended up with a car that had considerable cosmetic flaws, has issues with steering alignment and was full of pet hair. Let me remind y’all that this was my first new car purchase, so I would advise and urge you to avoid Ryan **, might be the best performing salesman but I guess you know why by now, also if you end up financing through them please do not fall for Chadrick **’s tricks, he is probably one of the most shady and untrustworthy people I have ever closed a deal with. This is how these people do business, you can decide yourself whether you want to give these people your cash or someone else who is at least more honest and upfront.

We reached their office at 7pm. Mr K told me that the car I was looking for has been sold. So car was gone in few hours. Isn't it unbelievable? Surprisingly, Mr K got another car with exact same model and make 2017 Toyota car with 2K more mileage and was asking $950. We did car inspection. It's rear door seem to have some work done recently. Paint was looking fresh on the door. I asked for Car Fax report. Mr K was reluctant to give me the Car Fax. I got Car Fax report. I didn't see the history of this car maintenance for whole year in the Car fax Report. I asked Mr K, "Why is that?" He didn't give me any convincing answer. I thought something is fishy. I told Mr K I am not interested in this car and left. Also, he was trying to charge me 7.50% interest rate for the car while we agree upon interest rate of 3.5% depending upon my good credit. Total shady business. Will never go there again.

Went to AutoNation in Houston and Daughter had already identified specific vehicle to purchase. After an exhausting waiting period they offered financing at 5%+ (for 787 scores). We rejected this and Obtained our own financing and 1/2 their rate. Finally got the Tags on the car and then they came out with, wait for it...: only One (1) Key Fob. Immediately Inquired about this and salesman said "Jeep only give one key..."- HA. Much to my chagrin, when pressured, Manager came out and said "Vehicle was priced with only 1 FOB and not two..."- Where this came from or was printed I'll never know.

Car FOB was stolen at party that night and took us 2 days to get car back to an actual Dealer to create 2 New FOBS at $500+. The Dealer's General Manager, Mark, (**) then began to tell me it was Our Fault for not doing proper research on the vehicle knowing it only came with 1 FOB- Blah Blah Blah. Blamed it on the Consumer who just bought their vehicle. I traded in a car with 2 FOB. Certainly expected to get 2 FOBs with purchase of a 2019 Jeep... If Anyone wants more info- I am Stephen and I can be reached at **. Good Luck. "Caveat Emptor" with these guys.

About one year ago my significant other and I purchased a pre-owned Audi A5 from Autonation Volvo in Bellevue, WA. Once we bought the car we were only able to drive it in two week increments before having it taken to the shop to be serviced. I lost count of how many times it had broken down on us while we had the warranty. One of the main problems with it was that it had a horrible oil leak. We would go on to get it repeatedly serviced at Audi without the service department actually fixing the problem. Apparently, there was so much wrong with our newly bought vehicle that Audi was fixing the first problem they could see.

The really frustrating bit about our experience is that Autonation is somehow able to pass a vehicle 125 point inspection that they do not know how to work on. Hence why the vehicle was purchased at Autonation and continuously serviced at Audi. Over the course of our warranty, the oil problem was never fixed and many more issues arose. Since we have lost our warranty, our vehicle has sat in our parking spot, unable to drive as we are unable to fix all the issues. To give you a very clear idea, we received an estimate of about $4,000 just to fix the oil leak and timing belt. However, there are still MANY other issues that need to be addressed.

We have tried to contact Autonation Volvo as well as the corporate offices to get the issue resolved. Autonation Volvo insists there is nothing they can do while the corporate offices will not accept our calls no matter how many appointments are made. In fact, it was recommended to us by a customer care representative that we book a flight to Florida to talk to them in person. This purchase was the worst financial decision we have ever made in our lives. Autonation will happily sell you a "lemon" that will last past the five day return period but not beyond that. Each attempt to fix this crisis has lead us to a dead end. It sounds a bit cliche, but if I could rate this company zero stars, I would.

I took my 3 year old Malibu in for service and to fix the poorly designed display that my daughter broke for a second time due to its design. I agreed and paid the $600 service fee plus the $800 for the new display. They took 2 weeks to fix and last Thursday they indicAted it was ready. I told them I would pick up Friday. When I Ubered there Friday they told me they had fixed the display and rest to English. It had been in French. After 30 wasted minutes I was told it would be an additional 30 minutes to wash it. Remember they knew I was coming in. I declined and after 15 minutes they brought it around. The display was still in French. Additionally the drivers seat would not move forward. It pivoted apparently due to an issue in the right track - not an issue when I brought it in.

I pulled the car back in and asked the service manager what was up. He took it back to the service bAy and 30 minutes later came back and said they needed to take the seat off and could I come back later. I said, "Call me when it is fixed." I texted him late that evening asking for the status. He texted me back Saturday at 2 pm saying that he had a child emergency and that they had not been able to figure the issue out. Tuesday afternoon I texted asking for an update, realize that is had been 2 weeks since in brought the car in and 4 days since I wasted time going in to pick up a car that was not ready.

He texted me back that the motor on the seat would not work and that if I would pay for the part he would take care of the labor. Understand that the seat worked fine when I took it in. When I went to pick it up the seat motor worked - it just would not move on one side. I have previously paid over 1000 on this car for wiring issues that they said were due to “rodents”. This was a garaged cAr with no signs of rodents in the area. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

These people and company are complete frauds and don't have any morals. They gave me a price of $18k online then offered $13k when I went into shop after 3 hours sitting with my family! DON'T EVEN CONSIDER SELLING A CAR TO THESE PEOPLE! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

The online quote for my 2016 Lexus nx200t was $22051. I told them to check my Carfax. I had a accident, I knew it and told them. I had a scratch just below the Lexus symbol on the back hatch. I guessed that they would bring the price down about $500, not $2700. They offered me less than $19500! They expected me to fold but I went down the block to carmax where I had a $21000 written estimate (given after inspection) was honored.
