    Bought Advance Auto Parts gold battery with 3 year warranty. The battery went dead 3 times in two months after 2 years of use, went back to store two times. Both times I was treated like I had an IQ of 0 since I am female, needless to say they would not honor warranty. Purchased in Etters PA manager MATT was rude, tries to intimidate the customers so they leave without getting the service promised. Bad vibe in the store. Lots of contention. MATT does not know the meaning of customer service, THE CUSTOMERS ARE THE REASON HE HAS A JOB!

    I'm going to store Joel Blvd in 33972 Florida. The employee tell me, "You no have warranty." The system said nothing. My recommendation is make hard copy original receipt. Is suck. My listing parts with lifetime warranty alternator front and rear Shock absorbers few tools battery water pump.

    I'm a long time customer but today I was very disappointed with my online purchase attempt. I was issued a Merchandise Credit Card from my store here in Cocoa Florida last month for some parts returns. I went to make a battery purchase online to take advantage of a 25% discount and my $5 Speed Perks and found that the card is "USELESS"! You are "STUCK" with only being able to use this card in the store paying "Full Price"! Plus another thing I found out about this card is there is no way to check the balance! There is zero info on the back of the card on how to check it! Come on Advance Auto Parts! Let's move up to the world of Online Commerce and fix these problems ASAP! Until then everyone "BEWARE"!

    Numerous times have I tried to conduct business with Advance Auto Parts to no avail. Left on the phone numerous times, disconnected. As visiting Advance a few times to make purchases, I found those working there had limited knowledge and did not honor warranty claims. In contacting management several times, they agreed with me and stated, "They should have taken the product back".

    The aforesaid is a small part of Advance as we see this business declining at a rapid rate. Advance is more interested in finding ways to deceive people with their alleged discounts whereby there really is no discount. Many parts are not even in house where one has to place an order and then Advance tacks on a substantial shipping fee. Advance is strictly business oriented and could care less of any mechanics or technicians that are left in this generation.

    I live in Rockford, MI and every time I go into this store Advance Auto Parts Store 6355 2800 10 MILE ROAD NE ROCKFORD, MI 49341. They always take GREAT care of me. One employee I look for is **. He always knows his stuff. He is honest when he talks to me and gives me options. Today I needed a new battery for my 2014 Honda so I had my wife follow me to the store. We had our 5 kids in the car and since it was going to be a few minutes I paid for the battery, gave him my keys and went to breakfast with my kids. When we got back battery was in the van and the keys were at the counter. I just want to thank him for going above and beyond.

    I went to buy a car seat cover there and it was placed on a wrong price bracket. So I went to pay they told me, "Oh that’s not the price for it because customers put the items in the wrong place all the time." I understand that but nothing on the shelf was in order. This ** man named James with hair told me I’m supposed to match the SKU number to verify. I don’t believe I have to do all that just to buy from a multi dollar company. Why do they have those workers for? He then told me they don’t have to go around to put the products in the right place. So if anyone attempting to go there to buy I advice you to not to! This is the worst store ever. Customer is trash and definitely don’t believe customers are first!

    I bought wiper blades in the store. They weren't in stock. Had to order them. They charged me for 12.00 for shipping. I canceled the order a couple days later. They returned my purchase amount, but not the shipping charges. They said the computer can't cancel them. But if I did it online myself I could get the shipping charges back. On the website it's free shipping on $35.00. I spent more than that. They just made $12.00 dollars. That's absurd.

    I have shopped at various Advance Auto Parts stores. If you don't know which store you purchased the item from you can't get it warranted because they don't keep track of your purchases company wide but only by store. It's a hassle. I'm not shopping there any longer because of the way they keep or I should say lack of keeping track of my purchases. What a screwed up method they have.

    They forget your receipt then argue and tell you that you lost it. They hang up on you and you get screwed out of your money or warranty. Nothing is their fault because they don't make mistakes. Go to Napa.

    I had my mechanic replace my AC compressor on my 2002 Escalade about four months ago. He got a new one from Advance. Not a rebuilt. It made so much noise that was taken off and replaced under warranty. He replaced that AC compressor four months ago but it started making noise too and stopped working. My original ac compressor was AC Delco and lasted 17 years. They offered another one under warranty again but no thanks. The mechanic has to be paid for his labor and the one they sell is not better than a rebuilt one. I ordered a new AC Delco Compressor from O'Reilly. The one from Advance is an expensive boat anchor. In addition, my daughter had the same mechanic replace the starter on her Silverado. Advance delivers to him so he put on their starter. Well it drags so going to replace it again. I told this mechanic not to buy my parts from them again. Cost is too much as to repair again.

    I've been a long-time customer of Advance Auto but wow their prices have gotten to be outrageous. One part I literally found online brand new same model brand and part for 1/3 of what Advance is charging. Their coupons suck and the customer service has gone down the tubes. I went in to buy a 50 dollar module for a fuel pump and they said they could not return the part once it leaves the store. I had purchased a fuel pump from them about 3 days prior and they suggested using my one time replacement on it. No?

    Although it wouldn't be the first time I've taken garbage home from there. Clerk prints out receipt and says I need to sign it...umm, I am not picking the part up, I'm rejecting it. So I sign the receipt marking it as I did not pick up and it takes 3 days for the refund to show up on my card. Stupid! I went over to their competitor. They were pretty cool about everything and don't have a "no return" policy on electronics. Keep raising prices and pushing people away, especially with the unstable future of brick and mortar retail stores, good luck and farewell!

    Spent a good two hour researching what part I needed and the best place to buy it. AAP was the winner... I needed this part asap to fix the car... The day before the part was suppose to arrive they inform me "We don't have your part in stock." I'll never waste my time with AAP again.

    I bought a “guaranteed to fit” headlight replacement for my 2006 Town and Country. Except the headlight harness was wrong. The bolts to connect it not long enough. What should have taken 10 minutes took half a day chasing down parts to make my “guaranteed to fit” replacement actually fit. Oh. Bonus. The online stock for the additional parts I needed were out of date, meaning that they said they were in stock, but actually they weren’t. Four stores later I finally had all the parts needed to fulfill their guarantee. Sorry you’ve had a bad experience - can I offer you a discount next time? This entire business is the worst I have experienced in 60 years. Hope they fail miserably and go out of business.

    Delray Beach FL store 9194. Purchased AutoCraft Gold Battery in 2016 and need a jump 4x since purchasing. I’ll go by for a battery check and it reads good. Had the car at the dealership for maintenance 09/2018 provided them the battery not good report from the dealer and they connected their battery checker which read good so it excused them from doing anything. Saturday 11/3 needed a jump again so went directly to the store. Josh came out, it read good, so I told him the battery checker is garbage and I wouldn’t be going back to this store. He raised his voice and starting screaming. It could be other things but didn’t check them.

    He threatened to bring someone out. I was happy he was going to because clearly he didn’t have the technical skill to do anything else but scream. The most unprofessional misogynist screaming man I’ve encountered. After reading the reviews seems this is the customer attention to expect. This sort of intermittent battery performance is sure to affect the electronics in my car, don’t waste your money on this battery, it doesn’t hold up and certainly Advance Auto doesn’t stand behind it.

    The following occurred on 28 October at about 10:00am. The clerk had just finishing telling the customer before me that He could not return any products purchased without providing a phone number for the warranty. I tried to purchase some parts and informed the clerk that I would not give him my number either, and that the receipt was my warranty. He then told me that he had the right to refused me service. I had no choice but to leave and buy parts at AutoZone parts store. I am disappointed and probably never purchase from them again.

    After leaving O'Reilly Auto and not getting the help I needed I went to Advance Auto in Westminster Co 80021. In 5 minutes Frank ** helped me and now I know what part I need to buy. It really made my day and I want to make sure that he is recognized for the good customer service he gave me. After spending lots of money at O'Reilly I now will be paying my parts from you guys because of Frank and also the lady that first helped me. She also took the time to figure out what I might need. I just didn't get her name. Please make sure Frank's boss gets this message.

    Store 09173 understaffed. 6 checkout stations, 10 people in line, one person at checkout for a good 15 minutes. As it turned out, a second employee was installing a battery outside, finally came in & started yelling at customers to “Next in line come down here”. Why so understaffed at a high volume store? Advance really needs to do better.

    Advance Auto Parts in Chattanooga TN on Hwy 58 has the worst customer service I think I've ever experienced. My husband and I went in to replace an alternator, on 9/24/2018, for the 3rd time within one year. The last time we went to have it replaced, we were informed that we were still under warranty. However the next day, when he went to return the faulty part they couldn't find him in the system. We had to call customer service to get a refund, because the in store rep insisted he couldn't find the warranty and we had to pay for a new one.

    Fast forward to 9/24/2018 and we have to replace it again because the pulley broke. We spoke with the manager Teresa and explained what was going on and asked would we be able to replace it under warranty she looked at us with a blank stare and nodded yes. I asked for something tangible because of what happened last time and she became combative dismissive and just plain rude. She wouldn't let me complete a statement! I was shocked and so was my husband. We couldn't understand why she was being so rude. I will never return not only because of the bad parts they're selling but the POOR customer service. If I could give them zero stars I would. P.S. Fire Teresa asap!!

    I brought 4 deep cycle marine batteries into advance auto parts, 2 that I purchased from advanced 30 days ago and 2 that were older not purchased from Advance (all hooked up to my boat and charge and discharge at the same rate). 30 days ago I wanted to replace all four and Advance check the batteries and said only 2 need replacing which I mistakenly did.

    Today (30 days after purchase of two) Advance checked the batteries. One was completely discharged, and the others were at different levels of charge but apparently still good. I told Bob the manager I wanted to replace all, exchange the two I purchased 30 days ago because one was completely discharged the other was fine and the other two were at different levels of charge. In other words, all of them were at different levels of charge.

    If all the batteries are hooked up to the same charger they should all be at the same level. One month ago when I wanted to replace all of them I should not have been advise to only replace the two that their diagnostic equipment said were good, in fact, all deep cycle batteries that are run together should always be replaced together.

    Bob the store manager would not exchange the two batteries I bought just one month ago and told me I should call Advance Auto Parts' customer service line, he gave me a phone number. I called them from the store. Apparently Bob could've called also (entering store code) if he understood customer service. Instead I was passed from different departments to different departments and then to customer service that was overwhelmed and hung up on me after being on hold for a minute or two. After that, Bob the store manager said he cannot make the exchange and to call the store manager during the daytime. The customer service from Bob, the evening store manager and from Advance Auto Parts was simply repulsive. From a lifelong Advance Auto Parts customer but not anymore!

    Today I purchased headlights and was provided the product by the store employee based on the make and model information I had provided. When I got home to install the lights I could see that they were not the right type needed. When I returned to the store two hours later I was told that I was unable to exchange the lights for the correct ones needed even though they were the ones provided by their employees because I had opened the package. Instead I was offered 20% off of the purchase of the correct headlights! I asked to speak to a manager and was told he would be in by Tuesday of next week. I asked for a number to contact to complain and was told he could only give me the store number which I already had. This is insane and there is something wrong when a product is provided incorrectly by an employee and then you can’t even get the correct item unless you pay for that replacement.

    Purchased a radiator that was defective. Took it back same day for refund. They refused to refund my money. Gave me another one but I couldn't use it because it cost too much for mechanic to do the same job again. Car was junked same day. They wouldnt even give me store credit so I have a $118.00 radiator still in the box. I feel like Advance Auto Parts store# 9565 took my money. Called corporate office and they said it was up to the manager and he refused. I'm on SSI and dont have money to give away to them. Talk about guaranteed for life.

    First of all if you want to buy don't buy from their online, I wondered why they offered 25% off and pickup in the store, now I think I know why, I bought an alternator believing in the lifetime warranty, I'm a mobile mechanic, I convinced my customer that it's got lifetime warranty and 25% off at advanced auto parts, we bought around July 19th and on August 21st the customer called and told me his battery light came, when I jump started I heard the alternator whining and not charging the battery, I'm like we'll it's got lifetime warranty removed it and to went to the store.

    The store pulled out the part information and said "All we can do is return this for you, then you'll have to order another one again," I'm like, "But I don't have the money. You guys have it and it's going to get returned into the card which take 5-7 days." They said that's the only thing they can do, I called the online department same. I can't afford installing same part every month on the same car and dealing with their complicated return policy. I've bought alternators from O'Reilly, Napa, AutoZone, no complaint so I guess they got my business.

    I order a right side mirror for my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 3 months ago and when I received it the mirror was shattered into multiple pieces. I reached out to customer care and I was transferred so many times it wasn’t funny. I had to explain my situation to everyone I’ve been transferred to and still couldn’t get the help I needed. A day or two later I tried again and spoke with a Mercedes **. I was promised a reship and here we are in July for something I had purchased in April. We are military and we’re in the process of moving and I really needed it to travel and I was, still us and will always be disappointed. They basically stole my money without any good reason. A place I will never shop from again and if I can encourage everyone else to stay away it’s only for your own good.

    Had the Advance Auto in Columbia test my battery and alternator... Battery machine said it had a bad cell. Purchased a new battery and the same problems are happening. Advance won't return the battery! Bad customer service. Always doubt your test results from them.

    I bought an alternator for my Chevy truck with a Lifetime Warranty from Advance Auto. The diode went out on it, and it was draining my battery. I had my mechanic take it out, I brought it to the Advance Auto Parts store to get a new one, and he could not find the info on the computer. He said the warranty was actually a "Limited Lifetime" warranty, and not really a lifetime warranty at all. I originally spent over $95 for it just so I could have the Lifetime Warranty. It would have been much cheaper for him to simply give me a new one, because now I will never set foot in another Advance Auto Parts store! I went down to the O'Reilly's store down the street, paid $115 for a real Lifetime Warranty alternator. Don't ever shop at Advance, any of you.

    My wife bought a thermostat for my Daughter's car. Sales person said she needed the better one for $11.39 and sold her the better anti freeze also. The next day I wanted to return it as it did not come with the gasket. The gasket is sold separately for another $6.00. So just about $19.00 for a thermostat and gasket. Another parts store Sells both, OEM replacement for $8.00! The problem is the new sales person never entered it right in the register. There is record of my wife buying it. She even gave my phone number also. Somehow got a rebate receipt for the antifreeze but not actual receipt for the whole transaction. This is the last time I will buy anything there again. They just built an O'Reillys closer to me. Guess where I will be going now. All they had to see was that I buy a lot for stuff at that store. Was not returning something major, Just A thermostat! Guess they would not do an override on the register.

    I ordered a bunch of high quality LED flashlights online and received them today. I opened the box and was instantly overwhelmed. First off they reused some box out of the trash. They tossed the flashlights into the box and then placed the paper protection on top of it all and all of it very loosely packaged, so yeah... a lot of damage. I called their so called Customer Service and of course they will give a refund but you have to take the time to send it back and then wait. I chose Advanced over AMAZON and EBAY. BIG MISTAKE.

    Their Customer Care Center is a JOKE. They're polite but entirely scripted. I looked up and you have to go through their Customer Care Center to reach the corporate office. I took pictures of the way this was packaged and thought the Corporate Office might be interested. Customer Care did not care about the images and talking to the Head of Customer Care, "She is the highest person anyone can talk to at Advanced Auto". There ya go... They really don't care and in doing a search on finding the CEO's phone number apparently Advanced Auto online sales has many issues and they just laid off many.

    I like using the local stores but I will never again use their Online Services. The pictures tell everything about how much they care, and their "Customer Care Center" just confirmed the same attitude as the mess in the box. This is going up on Yelp and every other venue I can find. Order it through the store... and that way if they mess it up you get you money back right then. Rockauto.com is good and Auto dealerships sell OEM parts online for even less than RockAuto.

    Went to the St. Cloud, Minnesota location and ordered/purchased two front lower control arms (Moog) & two sway bar links (Moog) for my 2012 Ford Focus SE on June 8, 2018. Young guy helping me said that he'd have to order everything in and that it would take about a week to get the parts. No problem, I was okay with it and even paid upfront $437.13 to ensure proper service. Told him to just give me a call when everything was received and ready for pick up.

    Two weeks later I decided to call the store to find out if everything was received and ready for pick up, because of course I was never called the following week, but no big surprise there! So the other young guy "Bobby" who answers puts me on hold to check and see if they are all there. 10 minutes later, other guy picks up the phone telling me that "Bobby" was looking into it and asks if I can hold a little longer, I said, "sure, no problem". 5-7 minutes later, "Bobby" picks up the phone and asks who helped me, because he has no record of the parts even being ordered. So I described the kid who helped me originally and then "Bobby" tells me that that guy no longer works there.

    At this point I am becoming annoyed, well how does that concern me? Then I asked well I would like my money back, since clearly you failed to get them! "Bobby" tells me, "Sure, just bring in your receipt and I can help you out." I asked, "Well why can't you just look it up and return my money to my card you charged, I don't have the receipt or time to come in and waste more time for a problem that is not mine?" He tells me without a receipt I'm not going to be refunded. I said, "That's ridiculous, let me speak to the store manager, what's your name?" He then tells me that his name is "Bobby" and that he is the manager and if I'm going to be upset about this that he can't and literally refuses to help me.

    I said, "You charged me $437.13 for parts that I didn't receive, just who in the hell do you think you are?" I then said, "Fine I'll contact your corporate office and handle it, as well as file a formal complaint," he basically tells me, "Fine you go right on ahead, because I really don't care." So, at this point I call Advanced Auto Parts customer service hotline (waste of time), I get the prompts, nothing matches my reasons for calling, so I pick one, 25 minutes later I get a "service representative" who tells me wrong department, here I'll transfer you over, 35 minutes later, computer generated message says contact online help desk because their phone line is just too busy!

    So, I called my bank and filed a dispute on the transaction. Nevertheless, what a joke this place has become! I'm putting this out there for everyone else to see so you can know what kind of service you are getting from these fly by night "parts professionals" and cookie cutter retail chain stores that are a waste of time and money in the long run! Bottom line, go to the dealer for your parts, they'll be correct, fit properly, be surprisingly equal in cost, and you'll receive far better results for your hard earned money!

    I purchased a starter for $177.99 and $12 for the core. I returned to the store with the core and was told I couldn't get a refund since my wife purchased the starter on her debit card. They took cash immediately out of her bank account. My wife is out of state with a sick family member. I emailed the corporate office, no response. I called and waited on hold 20 minutes, nothing. I tried live chat. 24 minute wait. I sent a second email and let Advance Auto know I am out of options and will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. All this over $12 that is rightfully my money. This is a small amount but multiply $12 by the number of customers they steal from and it adds up. I run a small farm service business and constantly need parts, so this tells me that they don't need my business. I would think my issue would have been resolved easily but have gotten nowhere. I am open to suggestions if anyone has one.

    I purchased an item and discovered the item wasn't needed and proceeded with a return and requested a cash refund since I had used a debit card and PIN. Refund policy summary CLEARLY states that should you request the cash back in this situation. They are happy to do it. ** at store #4610 Patton Ave. ASHEVILLE, NC, violated that policy when she refused to do so. Not to mention how incredibly rude she was about it. Who do people think they are???

    I had ordered parts needed for my vehicle online & paid with confirmation code. I arrived at same name store closer to my home 10min. away from each other with my paper copy with confirmation code. They called the store at 2727 US Hwy. 92 Lakeland, Fl to see if they can transfer the order to the one closer to my home speaking to the manager & he bluntly said no. I thought that they were supposed to be professional and courteous to the customer. I guess that isn’t so for certain stores.

    I purchased a car battery for my occasionally used car a few years ago. When I got it, there was battery acid all over the place, and the sales guy had to clean it up. Obviously, the battery had been tipped over for some time. But the sales person said "not to worry." We tested it and it looked OK. After that, it only took a few years for the battery to start to fail. Even though it's a "sealed" lead-acid battery, I decided to open it, and to my surprise, there is very little electrolyte left, about half. So, it was tipped over. I should add more sulfuric acid because water alone probably will not work. Bad. The "pro-rated" warranty is sort of useless. No more Advance Auto for me.

    I went to Advance Auto in Greer to buy a part for my car and they sold me the part and I used my bank card. Went back to my car to install it and yes it’s was the wrong part. 15mins later back at the store and now they don’t have the right part and cannot order one. So I wanted my money back so that I could go to AutoZone to buy it and they had it in stock but no they didn’t give me my money back. They give me a In store credit and now what the Hell I suppose to do with it. Now no money to go to AutoZone to buy it and now I am really???? I think they just took my money????

    Advance Auto Parts is the worst auto parts store that exists, buy a sensor I received one that was not the one for my car. When I went to the store to have it exchange for the right one the representative refused to make the change. I had to call customer service and it took me 1 hour for them to finally answer me, and the correct sensor was broken defective and the same story was repeated, wasted my time on the phone for over an hour to tell me they can not help me, I lost almost $200 to buy parts that are useless. Everything they sell are very poor quality, they do not work, they come out defective and it is always a problem when you wants to make a claim, or want to exchange or your money back. Worst auto parts ever. Don't waste your money.

    I placed an online order around 4pm for pickup at Store 8503, 2842 E STATE ST, SALEM, OH 44460... At around 7pm I arrived at the store to pick up my order, a counter person named ** ask what he could do for me, I told him I was there to pick up my online order and him my name... He went back and checked and came back up and said they didn't have anything for me... I told him I order it online about 3 hours ago and selected the Salem store for the pickup location, he said, "Oh, you order it online, me go check again," when he came back up he said, "I don't have anything for you."

    I asked him to look it up and see if they actually had the parts there at the store, and he went back and brought them up to the counter, then he said, "Will there be anything else?" And proceeded to start ringing up an order, I said NO, and I don't want the plugs, because I'm not going to pay for them twice, I already paid for a set online and I used a 25% off discount when I checked out.

    He snatched the plugs up off the counter and started to walk away while saying, "Then come back with your confirmation number." I replied, "Yeah," and, "So much for the 20 minute drive to get here," and called him an ** for being less than helpful and having an attitude with me. As I was leaving the store and almost out the door I heard ** say, "**." I quickly turned around and went back in and said, "What did you just say to me?" He replied, "I'm just repeating what you said." I asked, "Who's your manager?" He said, "I am." I said, "Whats your name?" He opened his jacket to reveal the name **.

    I told him I would be contacting Corporate to let them know just how he treats his customers. He said, "Go right ahead. They can't do a thing. I can do whatever I want. I can even throw you out of my store if I want." I looked at him and said, "I very much doubt that." I then told him, "Expect to be fired because I pretty sure Corporate won't like to hear how you talk to and treat your customers."

Later, I talked to another employee, Matthew. I went to the store, my credit card in hand, asked for Matthew.     Today I had the great unpleasure of visiting my local Advance Auto Parts store in Bloomingdale, FL. I just had a jug of oil to recycle. As I entered there was only one customer in the store and two employees. No one says hello. I simply ask one guy that was with a customer where oil receptacle was. First he acted like he didn't hear me. I said, "Sir again..." and he says with a smartass attitude, "Let me stop everything I'm doing!" What?? Just point you can see I have an oil container in my hand. I was not making him go out of his way or stop helping a customer by any means... Just rude, crappy customer service. AAP bring back some standards with customer service as a priority. Will be use RockAuto from now on. Sick and tired of crappy service. Ps. Wish I knew his name to post it.     THIS STORE IS LOCATED ON 2502 E. State Road 60 (0.45 mi) Valrico, Florida 33594. Don't you ever buy nothing from this store, EVER, EVER! My husband bought a starter motor from this store, saying pretty much 1 year of guaranty... It arrive the same day. Was placed in our car and it last only ONE DAY, next day went for a refund and this lady call ** just denied IT, maybe it was not her decision to make, but the excuse was that it’s scratched... So before they said "is nothing we can't do", "you should test it before put inside the car" (hilarious stupidity excuse). Then they took the starter motor but still no refunds, so pretty much they try to steal from my husband, he ask for a refund or he will call the police and he even ask for the corporate number and this was denied! At last they realize he was not going to leave from the store so they give him his money back cause this motor had 1 year of guaranty Jesus Christ.

    But it gets better... He was kicked out from the store and told never again come back!!! So to the manager in duty that pretty much was the one doing all this, you need to go back to clean the floors and learn a little more about freaking customer service! Denying a customer the corporate phone number is pretty much illegal my dear ignorant, so I will make sure to tell every single one that this store sucks...and you as well! Cause you treat really bad a handicapped man, you tried to steal from him and even told him that he can’t ever come back to your store! Believe me, no one wants to go back to your horrendous customer service and your stupidity authority over the store. EVERYONE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

    I should have read reviews before buying a battery from this outfit. My story is the same as other reviewers: 3 year "free replacement battery" died a month before the first year after my truck was sitting idle for about 10 days. Took it in and just like others, I was told the battery needs to be charged before they can even consider replacing it. Company protocol...the guy called it...Yeah...protocol to rip people off. So I left it there this afternoon and have to go back tomorrow to get it. What a pain for a stupid battery which should have lasted at least 4 years! I am 100% positive that they'll say "here is the battery all charged up. It was your fault for let the truck sit for a week." I've never had this happen to any of my cars and I've been around the block a few times. Last battery on this vehicle lasted 6 years!

    Never buying a single item from Advanced Auto Parts. More like backward auto parts.

    Tired to place an order online for hours. Found the Item I wanted, applied the coupon and tried to check out. Input my email and they want me to sign in. Try to sign in and it says invalid password. I know the password is correct because I use the same one for everything. So I go through all the steps to change the password (a big pain). Ok. New password is accepted. I'm in my account. I click shopping icon and my order is in my cart. I go to pay for my item and put my email address in. I need to sign in to my account in order to proceed with the order. So I type in my password and it says it's incorrect. Again I use this password for EVERYTHING and was Denied AGAIN. I spend time to check everything over.

    I changed my password for the site AGAIN thinking just maybe I made an error. Went through it all again and nope. They know my email address but will not accept the password. I am so mad. Tried a few times and get locked out of my account. Contact online support and they disconnected me and now refuse to give me the option to contact them online. I try calling the phone number and I'm on the phone waiting for a half hour with no luck. All I want to do is place an order. I hang up. That elevator music drove me crazy for a half hour. I live in a small town. Our automotive options are very limited. And they just wasted about 3 hours of my time and raised my blood pressure up enough to, let's just say enough want an outlet of relief.

    I purchased a "gold" battery with 3 year replacement. I use store #2101 in Williamsburg Va. After about a year, the battery died after about a week of not using my truck. The Advance clerk tested the battery with their machine and told me the battery was OK. It was charged and lasted about a month. Then it went dead again. Now I want a replacement. Well, I'm told it has to be charged overnight and tested again. I ask what they think I can do without my truck for a day? Obviously they don't care.

    They blame it on my truck. Maybe I have an intermittent problem with my alternator. Maybe a bad connection. I have a thought, maybe it's their testing machine which is designed to not honor the battery warranty. How can we tell. Well, if I got a replacement battery and had no troubles, then the problem is solved. If I still have problems then the problem is elsewhere. I have a similar battery problem with an Autozone battery and they replaced it without a problem. I guess I know where I'm going to buy my next battery.

    If you take your vehicle into a shop and the shop orders your part and it has a warranty the warranty is not yours. It belongs to the owner of the shop. You will be asked for a receipt which you will not have as the shop has it. They will tell you that it is the shop's job to get your money back but before they will you will have to take the part back to the shop and hope they can get it done and you don't have to go back. If you need parts in the Los Lunas N.M. area DO NOT USE THE CARQUEST STORE. They are rude, will not help you when you need it and as unfriendly if you want anything like warranties as they are an Independent Store. So they don't have to work with Advanced Auto Parts and will not. But it will only be a little time before they close as their customer base is growing smaller and smaller. Remember you buy your own parts if you have a warranty.

    I ordered a part (reservoir) and was told by Liz the representative it would be here in 4 days. When I called on the 4th day and talk with the manager they said they didn't even have a routing number to check it with UPS and it was going to be almost another week before it would be here because of the weather. I had to call just to find this out. I was very disappointed and let down. I needed a part desperately. My car is overheating and I'm going to end up cracking the heads if I keep driving it yet I am a single parent and must go to work and take my child to school. Have they told me this earlier I could have had another part from another place but I did not find anything out until the day it was due and I already paid for it.     Purchased two batteries online with promotional rate discount codes for store pickup at my local store. No issues with the pickup other than the fact that they never have anything ready and look at you like you're retarded when you tell them you are there to pick up an online order. Installed the batteries the next day, and brought the cores back that afternoon. The girl behind the counter, who appeared to be the only one running the store, kept insisting that I already received my core refund and that it was applied as a discount promotion. After arguing that point that I had not returned the cores, and the receipt clearly stated I was being charged for a core until return, she proceeded to do some stuff on her computer which she clearly had no idea how to operate because she wound up refunding one of the entire orders.

    Now she claimed she had to call Advance Auto customer service, while I stood there with her waiting on hold for 15-20 minutes, she figured out that she pressed the wrong button the computer for the core return, which now left her with the dilemma that she refunded the entire order on one of the batteries. When customer service finally answered, they told her that they could not re-bill the order because I paid with PayPal online.

    She then requested that I pay for the battery again, which I mistakenly allowed her to do on one of my credit cards where she proceeded to bill me for a higher amount than I originally paid for the battery, then gave me a stack of receipts back which did not include the receipt for the new order she placed on my card, of which I have no proof of the incorrect billing. Advance Auto Parts hires the worst employees I have ever encountered in my entire life, I have had problems in the past in multiple stores but this was by far the worst encounter I have had to deal with thus far. This girl did not have a single clue as to what she was doing. This was my last purchase with them.

    Purchased a gold 700cca auto battery (Autocraft Gold Battery) 2 months ago. Suddenly the battery would not start my car. I had it jumped started and took it to a reputable auto repair shop. Everything electrical checked out on my car. The garage charged my battery on a 30 amp charger for over an hour and was only able to obtain a 539cca. I took the battery to the Advance Auto store and after putting it on their tester they proclaimed the battery in working order. They advised charging it in the store for 35 mins. After the charge, it went up to 560cca.

    They would not remotely consider exchanging it since the machine did not kick out a particular code. I walked out completely frustrated and felt ripped off. Why did I buy the best battery Advance Auto sells at a 700cca rating and 2 months later it won't charge over 600cca? If I wanted a lower rated and cheaper battery I would have purchased it. The famous testing machine can't think beyond that the battery should start your car, end of discussion. The clerks only push the buttons, cannot help, also end of discussion. It was my first experience returning anything to Advance Auto and it will be my last.

    I have bought all my battery at Walmart or other retailers and never had any issues with returning/replacing my car battery (defective/ have issues). My first time buying a battery from Advance Auto Zone was a nightmare. I bought an Optima Yellowtop for about 250 and it didn't work after a year of purchased. I had a three year free replacement warranty on it. I took it in to replace it, expecting to just walk out with a new battery due to the free replacement warranty.

    It was a big headache, similar to other posts here about trying to replace their battery. The sale clerk seemed annoyed when I mentioned about replacing my car battery. The sale clerk told me it was their policy according to the warranty that they need to charge/test the battery before they can make a decision on replacing it. This policy was not posted/stated anywhere on the warranty. It must be a made up policy to prevent you from replacing their faulted products. The sale clerk also told me that it would take them more than 24 hours to test it and charge it and that I can buy a new battery if I can't wait that long.

    I told her that I don't need to buy another battery and she took my car battery and put it on a shelf. I looked around and there is no customers in the store and nothing on any of their battery chargers. I asked her why she didn't test my battery right away and put it on a charger and she said that she will do it when she have time. She walked to the back of the store and I can hear her talking to another co worker about what she was doing for the holidays. I will never buy anything from them again.

    Wouldn't honor warranty on Autolite Spark Plug Wires. Couldn't find my info in system. Never asked for info when purchased. Personally have purchased over 6 sets of these wires from Advance since the early 90's not once was I asked for info for purchasing wires. No longer carried at my nearest Advance. One of many reasons I haven't shopped there in years.

    Just like the rest of the people I got a battery about a year ago. Spent 150.00 on the battery. I remember where I got my battery from cause you don't forget where you spend 150.00 in less than a certain timeframe. Not like you buy batteries often when you only have 2 vehicles. Either way just like the other reviews... they did the same with the battery on me.

    The battery has the mfg date on it. 9/17 and it's clearly is a Advance Auto Parts battery. The last week I had issues every morning. I had to jumpstart it. Finally I pulled it off and took it in to be checked. They say it's bad. I said, "Well that's good to know. I thought I had gotten a good battery. Guess you are bound to get one sooner or later." They said, "What's your phone number." I give it to them... they say, "Oh we don't see the purchase."

    I said, "Well it was on the location 3 blocks from me." I gave the location... but this location only lasted 3 months for some reason. Guess it was too close to AutoZone. Well they say, "We can't find you... we can sell you a battery." I said, "Nope... screw this. I'm going elsewhere." You guys don't honor your warranties. I'm not buying from you no more. I have a plumbing company and I always honor my warranties. So ya this is not good for customers. Stay away from Advance Auto Parts.

    This happened at store #06464, a day after the purchase of 3 coils on plug items. My husband need is only one so he asked me to go to return the other 2. While I was in line for a whole 35 minutes and the only 2 cashiers would take their time even to socialize. When finally was my turn this guy not only had an ugly appearance but his arrogant attitude was uglier, he right away said to me that they don't accept electric items returns and I asked him, "Well this policy is not shown anywhere on the receipt, actually the only thing mention is an scan number to RETURN items." Then he proceeded to show me a yellow sticker with the store rules on the counter that I never noticed before and I'm sure I'm not the only one, I requested to speak to a manager or supervisor since these 2 packages were not even open and he replied rudely that he was the one so I left because obviously I was just wasting more time uselessly.

    When in store in Garrettsville on Sunday looking to buy some parts, there were two associates in store 1 one computer, the other one was helping customer. I walked over to guy on computer and he never got off computer or even said hello, or "I’ll be with you in a minute." Nothing. There was nobody else in store but me and the other guy that was being help, I stood by him for 3 minutes never said a word. So when the other guy walked back up with customer he was helping I proceeded to go over to him only to have him check out the guy he was helping then turned around and walked back to back room, so I'm standing there for another 2 minutes before heading out to go elsewhere. Been in retail for 41 years. If I treated paying customers like this I would have been out of business in a year. I guess I’ll over to Nappa which went in not too long ago.

He said it ain't their job and left me and kids in cold parking lot till a lady older than us gave me a boost and said, "Pray for them. Don't spend your money..."     I purchased a autocraft silver battery January 2015 which should still be under warranty given that they give 2 years for that battery, the battery is defected and has died on me. When I walked into an advance auto part store I was told they couldnt find me in the system so I couldnt switch the battery out. I would have to buy a new one!

    Given that it's over 130.00 for this battery and it is still under warranty I find it ridiculous that such a big company has no way to look you up in the system other than by a phone number which at the time I did not have one to give!! I gave them my name, id, and proof of vehicle so that they can see it was me and I just needed to switch the battery.

    The battery also has a sticker on it that says 12/2015 which is date of purchase or manufacturing which proves it is under warranty!! And they said they cant do anything with that. I find this unacceptable!! Advance Auto Parts is full of thieves trying to get customers to purchase new batteries by making it impossible to locate you in the system.

    It's a fraud, they told me I had to go to the exact store I bought it in to see if they could help me. How is that possible? Or acceptable? What if someone moves? Or relocates? Then your warranty is worthless? It's a fraud. I will never buy anything from this store again, the gentleman at the location was rude!! I called corporate and they told me they did indeed find me in the system for that store! And that my battery was in fact still under warranty! The store tried to rip me off by getting me to purchase another battery and making me believe I was not in the system. Crooks!

    I bought an Autocraft battery for my car at Advance Auto Parts store 8105 in Laredo, Texas. The sales associates indicated that the battery had a three year free replacement. Right from the start the battery wouldn't hold charge and when I took it to the store I was asked to leave it to be charged, which I did. I have to do this three times already and the manager tells me that his machine has to give him a code or the battery has to be bloated for him to honor the free replacement. A new battery that every time I need to use it, is dead. He said that they can't explain the procedure to the customer when they buy the battery. I have read the policy and nowhere it says that they have to charge it first or that it has to be bloated so they honor the battery. Horrible service.

    I purchased a battery from this company this past spring. The battery never charged and I was told by Advance that I have a short (the battery was for a camper). I took the camper in twice to have the electrical looked at (the most recent time was October 7) and was told that there is no electrical problem and that the battery was bad.

    I took the battery back to Advance Auto Parts on 10/10/17 and was told that I would get a call that evening and a follow up call the morning of 10/11/17. I never received either call. I called Advance on 10/15/17 and was told I could pick up my battery that it was fully charged. I told the Advance employee that the battery was supposed to be checked for an issue. I was told that I would get a call back in a "couple minutes." I received a callback and was told the battery was bad. I inquired about the warranty and was told there was only a 90 warranty and there was nothing Advance could do. I told them to keep my battery since they just lost a loyal customer. I will NEVER give this company my business again. They have extremely poor service and poor products. There are many other auto parts stores that can provide you service and great products. Shop elsewhere.

    For the past 3-4 weeks, I have had the absolute worst experience at the Kannapolis, NC location (501 S Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28081). The customer service at this location is absolutely horrific and I would hope does not represent who they are as a company. The customer service was terrible from my first visit until my last. I stopped there because I was having trouble with a car battery that I purchased at this location. It was only a year old battery and has a 3 year warranty. A young kid helped us the first day and while testing the battery he actually pulled something out of his pocket to puff on a few times while helping us --- very unprofessional despite whatever it was that he was smoking on.

    He told us it's the battery but implied that they do this, so people will buy a new battery. We asked him to hook up the car to the diagnostic machine since my check engine light had come on the first day I had trouble with the battery. He waved us off as if he did not have time for it and told us, it's the battery. He did not hook up our car, so we had to go down to Auto Zone to have this done. Week after week, I continued to have trouble with my battery --- having to jump it off continuously. I went back to the Kannapolis store and this is where I first encounter ** (at this point I do not know he is the manager of the store). When I arrive, he is very agitated that the other store didnt just call to verify purchase and take care of the situation and grumbles about them being stupid.

    He then tells me that the person that knows how to test the battery will not be in until a few minutes --- so I wait. When she arrives, she goes out to test my battery and states there are too many fuses near it, so she is going to get ** to do it. So, the whole time I stood there waiting on her, he could have tested my battery because he in fact did know how to do it. For this and every additional visit after he keeps telling me that the battery is good and he is getting the same reading that the battery had when it was first tested and he cannot replace it if it does not read as a bad battery. This is still his excuse after two shops look over my car (one being the Hyundai dealership who does a full diagnostics test and it comes back as just a bad battery).

    One day he tells me I may just have something draining my battery but does not bother to do a drain test until my 3rd visit and he states that he should have done this last time I was there. I told him that yes he should have because this is now my 3rd visit to this store. He tells me there is a drain on my battery and he is getting a reading of a .70 but it was still rising. This turns out to be a complete lie. The Hyundai dealership service team printed me off the proof that this is a bad battery and tells me there is absolutely no draw on my battery. ** sees this proof and still refused to replace my battery (again, the battery is under a 3 year warranty).

    At this point, I am on my 4th visit to this store and he is being extremely difficult for absolutely no reason. He continues checking out customers and completely ignoring that I am there and was the first one there when his second employee arrives. I had to jump in front of the people for him to acknowledge that I am still waiting. I get extremely frustrated with him still refusing to replace the battery, after a while he finally agrees to.

    I really dont know what type of training they give their managers or what you require from them, but this should not be it. He is a horrible manager. I have never been so disappointed in a place of business in my life. I would never purchase anything from this store ever again. This experience was beyond enough for me to know that.     I like the Advance Auto Parts store since it is well organized and usually fully stocked with polite associates. The aisles are marked with what is in them and the cost of each item is also usually marked clearly. If I have a question about something the associates are usually eager to help out. I usually purchase in the store by asking an associate for the parts I need. They then look it up on the computer. They review the results with me and then assist me in making a decision. I just wish that the prices were a little more competitive on some items. I was a little upset when I checked on an item I needed was not in stock and extremely high-priced.

    I usually purchase in store, and they have always had what I needed in stock, and the employee helped me find what I needed. I typically only spend a couple of minutes in the store, and that's what I like. Also the different brand selection was great. They're conveniently located within 10 miles of my residence. They usually have what I need at an affordable cost. I'm pretty confident when I make a purchase here I know I'll be paying the right price.

    My battery died; I got a jump and drove to Advance Auto Parts in Herndon, VA. I checked online to make sure they had the right battery for my car. Entered my vehicle info and bought the battery online before shutting my car off (knowing it likely wouldn't start again). Went in, waited around for their system to get the order. I asked if they would install it. They said yes. Once the order came in, they pulled the battery and printed out a slip for me to sign that I received it. Then told me they wouldn't install it because it would take 30 minutes and they aren't allowed. I said, "What am I supposed to do with this battery then?" They said, "Take it somewhere to have it installed." "Why didn't the website alert me that it couldn't be installed by you?," I said. "If you knew you wouldn't be able to install it, why did you sell it to me?"

    They wouldn't let me return it even though they knew I couldn't install it myself. I almost started crying right there in the store. There were six employees that I could see and only four customers. Why couldn't they install it? I begged them to at least give me a jump so I could get home. I just don't even understand what just happened or why. I've never had anyone else ever tell me they wouldn't install a battery in my car, and in the 10 years I've owned it I've had the battery changed out at least four other times that I can think of (I got a dud battery once that didn't last a year). I really recommend women go elsewhere unless you are handy and know how to do all of your automotive repairs yourself. They're not interested in living up to their advertised help/installation.

    Convenient, honest, and affordable - There are many different reasons for my preference for Advance Auto Parts, but I mainly use them due to their employees. The knowledge of their employees is typically a much higher level than what I have experienced at other large chain type automotive parts stores. Instead of just having someone input the make/model/year of my vehicle into their computer system and telling me if they have the part in stock, they ask some intelligent questions about the problem I am experiencing and then help troubleshoot as well as offer advice and sometimes alternative solutions which has saved me money and trouble on multiple occasions. They are also normally the cheapest parts store as well, although there are many time that they are slightly more expensive than their competitors. The top notch customer service, along with their selection is what makes me return time and time again.

    In my experiences I have never had any issues with their selection. Finally and most importantly the professionalism of their staff along with clean and easy to navigate stores makes it worth driving a little farther when they are not the closest auto parts store to me when I need automotive parts, accessories, or advice. However they do not always have parts for my oldest vehicle a 2008 Dodge RAM in stock and have to order them. Also they do not seem to have as many sales, or deals as some of the other auto parts retailers. This at times will make me go to other stores, specifically when it comes to basic or routine maintenance items such as oil, light bulbs, and things of that nature.

    I do however like their online website as it is not only easy to navigate, but also accurate when it comes to letting me know if the part is available in the store. This is extremely important when I am needing a part that day and can not wait for it to be ordered. I have attempted to use other stores in the past, and when I have looked up the needed part and their online site has said it was available in the local store then driven to the store only to realize that the part was not in stock or I would have to buy a more expensive part.

    I shop in the store regularly for parts and accessories. Everyone is prompt and helpful. One time an employee told us about the rewards program and we thought it was very interesting. I like that wherever I go in the whole United States, Advance Auto Parts has my information in the computer system for warranty. They are very friendly and reliable. One time we were on vacation in Colorado and our car broke down, and it turned out to be the same part, so we swapped out the defective part for free! That saved us so much money! I am a very satisfied customer and will always go back to that store. Sometimes I go to other auto stores but I don't have the same experience in them. It's a different atmosphere for sure.

    My alternator belt broke after 5 yrs. of having the car so I went Advance Auto and bought a new one for $21.00 because it had a 3 yr. warranty but a week later that belt broke driving home from the airport, so it's somewhere on I-10. I went back to Advance Auto and I was told I had to have the broken belt before they could honor the warranty. Now, how was I supposed to do that, if I don't know where it is. What good is it to pay the extra money if they won't honor their warranty? I only wanted to get the correct part and exchange the product!! What really boils my blood is that I have been getting parts at this store for several years! And this is not the first time they didn't cooperate with me.

    The girl at the counter was about to let me leave when ** came up to me and said, "maybe I can help you." She then asks what my issue was with my car. I explained to her that I changed the battery and ever since then I could not get it started. She then asked if she could look at it and see if there was something she could do. It seemed like nobody there was knowledgeable with vehicles... until I spoke with her. She explained the type of car I have will not restart if you change the battery - it has a kill switch because I have the viper alarm in my car. She then got the unlock code for me and we were able to start my car.

    The product selection seemed extensive. There are always quite a few options for whatever type of product I want to purchase. I've been in the store multiple times over a period of several years. At each of the three or four locations I've been to, the staff has been helpful every time I've visited, even when I needed windshield wipers changed while it was snowing. However, I don't feel very comfortable in the stores. It's just not welcoming. The store isn't very visually appealing or inviting to me as a woman. I also don't like the website. I've shopped online and in stores, and it's not that easy to find what I need on my own. Fine but not amazing.

    Great customer service. Product selection is pretty easy. I usually will go online to check and see if they carry that particular part or if it can be ordered. Then, they check their database to see if they have it. If they don't, then they'll even go through one of their competitors to get you the part that you need just to make things a little bit easier so that I do not have to wait, however, the prices are a little bit more expensive at the Advance Auto Parts stores. My experiences are pretty cut-and-dry. I have not had any difficulties. All in all my experiences have been wonderful!

    Store located at 11633 San Jose Blvd Jacksonville, Fl at 1000 am 9/20/17. I took back the second Master Cylinder that was leaking at the reservoir which was a replacement for the first Master Cylinder that would not prime. ** was the Manager on duty and the person I had trouble with. I told him I was frustrated having to replace this the second time. He was rude during the process of exchanging the bad master cylinder and made a smart remark as I was on my way out. I turned back around walked up to him and said... "What was that you said?" I think he knew he messed up with his comment... because he would not say anything... I walked out of the place. I have dealt with this store since 1980 and I have also filed a complaint with their corporate office. ** I will no longer do business with YOU or Advanced Auto as long as YOU are a manager there.     They offer a return for any faulty products I buy there, which made returning a thermostat easier than it would have been at other stores. I just had to show my receipt along with the fried thermostat and no questions were asked. I had a little bit of trouble finding the right reservoir tank for my vehicle after my thermostat went out and caused a hole to blow in the tank. I had to call or go to three different stores to find the right tank. Very smooth process with no complications. The customer service was friendly and knowledgeable.     A wonderful experience. I like that the clerk was both knowledgeable and willing to help and offer me pricing options that best fit my budget. I'm not very handy myself and have never done mechanic work on my own vehicle so being able to rely on someone to assist me in finding the right part for my vehicle puts me at ease. It would be nice if there was a mechanic on site that could assist me with placement of simple jobs such as replacing a battery. But this is not particularly a complaint. I understand that certain licensing is required for such work and is not something that can be offered here.

    Customer service and product selection is great. The staff is always helpful and nice though they can be slow due to great individual customer service. I also love the variety of products Advance Auto Parts have including cosmetic. They are very educated and can get what you need even when you have no idea what you are talking about. I also like special orders products for you. However, it is not a place you can just run into real quick. It always seems to take a while to be gotten to. They need more employees trained in all things. It seems as though there are always more employees around that just can't help. I had mixed feelings about the last time I had to get something there. The employee actually found and ordered a rare part not normally produced but it was only supposed to take 2 days and after a week I called and still nothing. After 2 weeks they ordered it for me again. But it was definitely something I needed ASAP.

    I usually shop in store. It is easy to locate what I needed. Advance Auto Parts store usually has what I need, on hand. Purchasing is sometimes confusing because you don't know what computers are used for checkout. But prices are competitive to other automotive retailers. I like the oil recycling service. However, they don't have the friendliest of employees. I often feel like I'm bothering them, when asking for help. Sometimes I feel like I'm talked down to, because I'm not a "car guy." And sometimes I feel pressured to get extended warranties on parts. But I'd go back.

    As of 9/11/2017 it has been two months since the claims dept. has given me the runaround regarding a timing belt kit that I purchased from them. I just want everyone to be AWARE that they don't stand behind their products. They like to blame the manufacturer which is Dayco. I have given them more than enough time to look into this matter and they are saying they need two more weeks for Dayco to give them an answer. I let them know that they are not dealing with a dummy because my warranty would be up on 9/19/2017.

    So, therefore, they give me no choice but to file a claim. And my mechanic has advised me to do so because he knows his work was done correctly. Please don't trust the company because you will have to take them to court in order to get a refund. In the meantime, I will be contacting ** Monday so that he can warn everyone.     The product selection is outstanding. They have name brands along with generic brands to choose from giving you a wide option for saving money or spending an extra dollar.     I placed an order on September 7th at 3:17 pm for in store pick-up. Online orders are advertised to be ready in 30 minutes or less. So when I get off work 3 hours later I go to pick up my items. My order number did not exist in the store. I was told to call customer affairs which I did. They told me the bank wasn't releasing the funds so that's the delay. I told them The money was immediately taken from my bank account so the bank has nothing to do with the delay because I'm not disputing the charge. The customer service representative began to tell me that it's a safeguard for me and that they can't cancel my order until it moves from the processing stage.

    I didn't get the confirmation email until 12:45 am September 8th. On the confirmation email it states... "Thank you for placing your order with Advance Auto Parts. For updates, feel free to check your Order Status. You will not be charged until your order is picked up in store or shipped." However I was charged immediately after the purchase was made online. That's 9 hours and 28 minutes after my order was placed and money takes for me to be able to pick up my things. I will not be ordering ANYTHING from them again.

    I can call Advance Auto Parts with the make and model of my vehicle. They are able to tell me over the phone if they carry the part or if they have to order it and tell me when it will come in. Sometimes the employees have no car knowledge at all what so ever and it makes for a very frustrating experience. They also need to hire older people not high schoolers. Nevertheless, I always call or visit the store. I like to talk to people and know what I'm buying and thats hard to do online. Ordering in store makes the parts easier to return if they dont work.

    They typically have all the auto parts and accessories that most other stores have. They have convenient locations around the state and I enjoy the order online and in-store pickup feature they have. The process of purchasing involves selecting an item then paying for it with cash, credit or debit. I have used all 3 options with this retailer. When I've gone into this store they automatically ask what they can help me with, and they take me right over to the aisle and product I need.     The purchasing process both online and in store are always very simple, straightforward and easy. The product selection is often small, but thorough and you can definitely find what you need.     When I entered into ADVANCE AUTO located at: 3104 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 I needed help with obtaining wiper blades for my recently purchased at auction 2000 Mercedes Benz S430. I was RUDELY dealt with! I was treated less than. Both employees on evening shift acted very rude and short with me! The female employee stated, "WELLLL if you have a Mercedes you SHOULD be able to afford it up." I wasn't there for a lecture LOL?!

    The male employee was useless with the personality of a shoe... As he stated, "Is that the white Mercedes out there". I said yes. They need a cartridge and I said, "Whattttt" and he said, "Just a blade... for both or just one." I said one. I think and the cheapest I can get... one $29.99 and a set $132.00... That is when I stated, "I can't afford that right now. I'll just have to drive and make the best of it in the rain" and the female employee said, "Id you own a Mercedes-Benz it should be able to afford it" and I said, "You're right. Got my car at auction and lost my job," as I was walking out and the male employee said, "Have a nice day." Screw you guys.

    After continuous trips which require twice charging the battery at the store, which were followed by trips made after I had required a jump to start the car, and being continuously told the battery is ok, being sold a alternator in the process; on my own went to a nearby mechanic shop, spoke to the person in charge of electricity and he showed me a battery tester which tested if the battery held the charge. I saw how easily the battery got drained, required a jump, then returned telling the manager the results and upon much bargain, did agree to replace the battery. He was adamant the battery was good, despite being told a test made by a battery specialist confirmed the battery was not holding charge. I had gone to another nearby store, and got the same response; which means the gadget used to test the battery lacks this component to test if battery hold the charge.

    We ordered a part online and used the most expensive shipping option to ship to home -- about $20. It was advertised as shipping out the same day and 1-2 day shipping. It didn't ship that day. I contacted customer service through chat. They said that item was mailed from the manufacturer and took 3-5 days. The agent didn't apologize or offer to refund the shipping, even though I was getting the item in the same time I would have if I had chosen free shipping. I will simply never buy anything from them ever again. They missed an opportunity with me. Unsatisfied customers can be turned into the most loyal ones by using good customer service practices.     They can get you parts for older vehicles and can also detect any problems you may have with your vehicle. I ordered a part in store. The employee was not very knowledgeable but immediately got me a guy who know what I needed. The guy found out what the problem was on my vehicle and offered me an affordable part which he included service at a reasonable price. It took very quickly. Some of the employees do not seem educated in the auto industry. It can sometimes take a while in store to get an employee who is knowledgeable in old and new auto concerns. However, the vehicle inspection services are highly recommended because they are affordable and extremely helpful.

    Advance Auto Parts is the only place we will shop at in our town. We go in there so much they know us by our first name. They even know our voices on the phone. Very happy to shop there. Never a problem. Can’t forget that we have had to order our parts from another store and they were always on point. We bought ours at a truck stop because we got to use our points towards it. Our parts always came in the very next day. I really don’t understand why they are so expensive If it wasn't for our points earned we couldn't afford it.

    There are lots of products to pick from with a variety of brands on all of the shelves. In my opinion, there are not enough bulb selections but everything else is plentiful. They always have a shorter line than AutoZone across the street, and the prices are about the same. The store is always clean. The workers are all really nice and got off their way to help you but I wish they could be better at helping the customers with actual car problems. If you have a problem, they can give you a suggestion and something work with, but no real help. I wish they would have some sort of auto repairs.

    Advanced Auto had a lot of inventory. They had many options of different price categories. I liked the many different air freshener choices, lots of prices and levels of scents. Wish prices here half off of buy one get one free for windshield fluid and air fresheners. Need more choices of different steering wheel covers and floor mats, definitely overpriced compared to Meijer or Walmart. Never many customers never have to wait in line. More women employed at stores would be better for women! I have been to 3 different locations, many times never seen women working at any of them.

    Went into the store and that is where they mentioned online shopping; shop online and pick up at the store. Shop online for added savings before visiting the store. Their prices were very competitive and they offered even more savings by suggesting to go online and gave me 10% off for my first visit. The cool thing about this store is that it is located along the Tualatin Valley highway along with about five to six other competitors, so, if I do not find what I need at one store outlet, I can usually find it at another location within one to two miles of each other. At this time, though, I have not had the need to go to an auto parts store for anything, but if I do Advance Auto Parts will definitely be at the top of my list. They were very helpful and satisfying.

    Advance Auto Parts is trustworthy and good value for the money. I used to do all my parts shopping at AutoZone but have found better prices here. I love all the helpful tips on the website. I also like the refer a friend program. I really like being able to buy online and pickup in store. I wish free shipping was available for $50 purchases since many of my parts are between $50 and $75. Sometimes selection leaves something to be desired. Often not able to find exactly what I need.     The product selection in store was excellent and the store was clean and orderly. I was shopping for items to detail my car and also for a part for a older model truck I am restoring. I had to wait for a few mins to have the associate look up the part, but it wasn't too long. Employee was helpful and courteous. Items I was purchasing was also on sale!     I like almost everything about Advanced Auto Parts. They are very unique and very affordable. They have many parts that relate to my vehicle. The parts that they sell are very good for any vehicle that it can support. The only thing I dislike about this company is its choice in workers. The customer service is really good, the process and shipping took about a week or so. I purchased all of my parts online. The fact that this is a well-rounded company for my needs is really nice.

    Numerous locations, easy to find parts in the store, helpful employees, prices are reasonable, hours of operations, parking was always available. Computerized parts look up, ability to shop online and pick up in store, loyalty rewards would be nice. Competitive pricing could be better, they do not accept coupons and believe they should. Purchasing was a bit lengthy as I had to wait to ask an employee, the part was in stock and the store was helpful.

    I like the selection they have, the price, and the convenience of how close they are and how easy it is to shop their website. I now only shop at Advance Auto Parts because they really beat out other companies. I always find what I am looking for. I order online, in store and even order online and have it shipped to the store. Delivery has always been super-fast.     They have a wide selection of parts for all makes and models of cars and trucks (even hard to find parts). Sales associates are very helpful and polite. I was immediately greeted by a sales associate. He asked me what I was searching for and went to his computer. He asked me the year/make/model of my car. It was not in stock at that location so he ordered it for me. 2 days later I had my parts at a reasonable price. Very organized store. It can be a bit overwhelming walking in it, though. Sometimes parts are not in places you would expect them to be. At times sales associates attempt to sell you higher priced items or items you do not need.

    I like Advance Auto Parts because it's extremely close to my house. They usually have decent sales going on. They also have knowledgeable staff that always helps me when I go in for something. Product selection at Advance Auto Parts is decent, and the one time I needed something they didn't have (which was window rain guards) they ordered it for me, and it came within a week. The only thing I'd like to see them change is better store hours, and they could always lower the prices just a bit.

    The last time I ordered a part from Advance Auto Parts, I went into the local store & told the store employee what I was looking for. The employee looked it up, explained the difference between "good, better, best", explained how long until delivery, told me I would need to pay upfront for special parts, and asked whether I would be paying with cash or credit. I paid for the item/s & was informed that I would be called when my part/s came in. I like going to Advance Auto Parts because of the amazing customer service, the friendly staff & knowledgeable associates. The staff is always willing to help & eager to be of service. However, Advance Auto Parts has the assumption that a woman can't possibly know what she's talking about, or that a woman can't know about cars or how to repair them.

    Their service was nice. They also had a nice clean environment with easy to access to all the product like oil, wiper blades, oil pans etc. It's close by my house so I don't have to travel far. I order in store and if I wasn't sure of the part I needed I could tell them the problem I was having with my car and they will get the part. Or if I mistake and got the wrong part they would come out to my car and make sure I'm getting the correct part for my car. They are also pretty cheap and so do price match on your parts needed for your car. However, I once bought a part from them with the wrong year of the actual year of my car. I couldn't find my paperwork I had once I purchase it and when you buy your parts they enter your name in their system but the young lady enter mine wrong so I couldn't get the right part.

    I enjoy the company Garmin because the prices are fair and they sell a wide variety of auto parts. This company also has great online service and in store service, as I have shopped both. I ordered in store, and the product selection was very easy and customer service was fantastic.     I like the fact that the store carries for the most part everything that I could need to take care of my vehicle or even the tools selection to make sure I can do what needs to be done on my vehicle or even around the house. For the most part I think that the store does what I need it to do for me. Usually the customer service personnel are very upbeat and helpful but I think that the customer service people need to be trained a little better to help those that might not know what they want and help find the answers better. But I always buy in store. I like to see up close what I am getting.

    #1 Went in to see if one could buy a cap for the electrolyte reservoir on a battery. The employee told me I needed a new battery. I told him it starts fine now that I topped it off with distilled water. He then told me that it wasn't water in my battery, it was acid (which is not true, that reservoir holds slightly acidic water, and topping it off with distilled water is COMMON CAR CARE). He told a 35 year veteran science teacher in a patronizing voice that that is because "water is a good conductor". Then he said it must be an old battery. It is a year old. Not only am I a veteran science teacher who has been servicing my own cars since 1976, I can read a sticker that says 2016. The correct answer would have been, "No we can't sell you one." End of story without the (sexist?) patronizing.

    The store is very close to home with very pleasant employees who are available to assist customers. I am currently a member the rewards program, employee asked for my phone number to ensure I received credits. Also had very good selection of auto parts and always have what I need. Have a very wide selection of oil filter socket, too. Had to exchange 2 oil filter socket because I purchased the wrong size. Employee was helpful and suggested adjustable socket and worked perfectly.

    Went in to buy a product. Was told by the punk counter boy that I had asked for something else. I know what I asked for. The punk counter boy needs to get his snowflake ears cleaned out. He was rude and DID not want to help me but had excuses instead of getting the item that I wanted so I told all the ** where they could go and I will never do business with this company as long as I am alive.     Advance Auto is very close to my home and there are many locations to choose from. They are nationwide so even on trips out of town, I know I can stop in and pretty much pick up anything regardless of where I am. They also have good prices and good quality products. I've ordered online and had the items shipped right to my house. And I've picked up in store as well as just stopped in the store to get what I needed. But sometimes they don't have products in stock and depending on how busy they are, it may take a little longer to wait for assistance.

    I order in store and the customer service was very friendly and helpful. They answer all my questions and gave me tips and lots of information on how to do what I need done. Their prices is a little high but they have a wide selection on parts and accessories. Had no problems in looking for what I need but if you can't find what you need they will look for other stores nearby. They would do whatever it takes to help and very fast works.     I think the website lacks details and product availability. I feel more comfortable purchasing on site. This process is much easier for me. Advance Auto Parts is close to my home which is extremely helpful since traffic is terrible around my home and I do not like driving. Also, if something is not available then an employee member can special order it for me either from another location or shipping facility. This is an extra bonus because I usually do not have to pay extra.

    More staff and particularly management on site is needed though. Oftentimes, lines are long, it can be quite a wait to find or for an available employee to help, and whenever a serious discussion is needed, an assistant manager usually cannot help me. A higher level supervisor is needed on site more than just Monday through Friday and 8-4. But the employees are friendly and skilled in what they do. I am never nervous about their recommendations and work that has been completed or needs to be done. In addition, they often have cheaper prices than competitors. Great customer service! I will go again when necessary.

    I like the fact that the staff are very knowledgeable and they seem to know exactly what I need. They tell me what I might need to fix my car based on the sound of it and why I went in to begin with. Then they go through the aisle and find the item for me to purchase.     The products are pretty much anything you'd need for the exterior/interior and insides of your car. It is easy to find the items I'm looking for, and if I'm uncertain about anything, I don't feel intimidated asking the staff questions. However, the rubber tire smell is kind of strong, but nothing to be done about it I suppose. Air freshener, maybe? This is just part of the package for car part stores. But overall, quick and friendly check out and it's a comfortable shopping experience.

    On December 17, 2016 I bought a camshaft position sensor. Was told by the seller that I had a lifetime warranty. I pay for it and walk out. It was at Advance Auto Parts on 3740 International Blvd. Well today August 16, 2017 I had problem. So I call my son to come pick us up, because the car had stall on me. Instead I told my son take my wife home and get the part while I wait there so the car wouldn't be tow. My son call me and told me that the seller said that my name was not register as a buyer. I told my son come pick me up so we can tow the car home and I would handle the situation. I went to the store and talk to the manager and ask him what was going on. He ask me for a receipt. I don't carry receipt when a store item I buy has a lifetime warranty, because the warranty is on the computer.

    Then he said "maybe you bought it at another Advance Auto Parts that why we don't have you in this store system." I told him that is stupid. Then I told him "if I bought it in Brownsville and went to Houston and the car stall and went to an Advance Store I would not get help?" He said "that right sir." Then I ask him "does your store carry this product number CSS1594 M15226 Cam Shaft Sensor Bar Code Number 8 89275 17839 9." He said "yes we do," "does that tell you anything. I paid cash." Then he said "maybe you bought it at Auto Zone or O’Reilly." I told him "don't be stupid they don't carry that same product number or bar code." Never will I buy anything there. I will also tell my son his has a shop and know a lot of shop owner about what happen to me.

    I like that they have a lot of locations that are easy to find. The aisles of the store are large and easy to maneuver, although sometimes the store is so big that it's hard to find what I need. There isn't always someone available to help when I need it and when someone can't help me, I tend to give up and leave without making a purchase. But they have a large stock of a variety of products and great sales. One time, I went into the store to purchase a product that was on sale. I was able to research the product online before going to the store and my checkout experience was fast and easy.

The company is great and knows auto parts. They take the time to look things up for you and also help place some parts on your car. While I have shopped online I have also shopped in the store and I prefer shopping in the store. The inside of the store is very organized which makes it easy to find the parts you are looking for. I have never had any issues shopping there with the exception of having to wait when there was a line of customers. But they show that they value having you as a customer.     Here’s what happened: A six-month old battery purchased from Advance Auto went dead three times within a month. I drove to my local store where the battery was purchased (1121 E. Stone Dr. Kingsport, TN 37660) to have it tested. The technician informed me that the battery needed to be replaced. Inside the store, another employee said he would tell me the cost of a new battery. I informed him that the battery was under a free-replacement warranty.

    He then told the technician to get a “code” from the battery. The technician returned to say that the battery did not indicate a replacement was necessary until further overnight testing. I asked why he had originally told me that I needed a new battery. He said that he had used a different instrument this time. Does this sound fishy? Perhaps rip-off is more appropriate. I have been an Advance Auto customer for many years. There is an AutoZone located two blocks from this store. I will do my business there in the future.

    My order was done inside the store. I needed a part for my luxury car and I was pleasantly surprised that it was in stock including a wide variety of other items and did not have to be special ordered. The staff was also pleasant to work with and helped me make an informed decision as to which part to purchase plus they are not condescending because I was a woman asking about which part would best suit my vehicle. I was also able to buy several Christmas gifts for the auto enthusiasts on my list.

    But it would be nice to have some type of kiosk linked to the store inventory to give the customer the ability to look up an item to determine if it is carried or in stock or need to be ordered should the staff be busy with other customers. This will save the customer’s time if the store is understaffed. If their item is not in stock, they can decide whether to wait or order the part from home at a later time and have delivered to that store, their home or drive to another store where the item is available. Then if the item must be ordered, it would also be nice if one could order from the same kiosk system or possible look that item up in surrounding stores. But overall, Advanced Auto Parts is not intimidating, but rather pleasant experience. I am now a repeat customer!

    I do research first, which part do I need or product, and then I check if Advance Auto Parts has it. If I need help I would ask who works there and after that I would buy and go home afterwards knowing I got what I intended to do and at a great price. I like that you know for the price you are paying that you are receiving quality items that won't break your bank and will last a while and to go to a place you know and trust. I would like them to have more promotions, coupons off next order, more deals to grab customers in, offers in email and to at least save cash that could go to other things.

    I have two other cars and my daughter and I do our own maintenance. Advanced Auto has most of what we've needed. For smaller things, I go down to the store. But for bigger or more unusual items, I order them delivered to the store and pick them up. If I get the wrong part they are good about replacing it. Still, it's sometimes hard to find parts for a Prius. But, I have been able to find odd fuses, touchup paint in unusual colors and all of the equipment I needed to put cameras in all of our cars. Also, Advance Auto's representatives are helpful but don't talk down to me because I'm a woman.

    Had a silver battery with two year replacement. Battery lasted almost four years so I wasn't expecting a replacement but was thinking I would receive discount since it didn't last 5years. Long story short I went to Walmart and got a five year battery for less money than an another 2 year battery from Advance. And one more thing, Advance acts as if they keep your warranty on their computer but it is conveniently not on their computer when it comes to getting a pro rate which they apparently don't do.

    They usually have things for a decent price. There are cheaper places but Advance Auto is pretty good. Usually, I call and ask about the part I need. After being put on hold forever, they normally don't have the part. I get the part ordered and normally it doesn't show up or the person whom I spoke to didn't order it. Also, there are a lot of employees that need to be better educated. I can't tell how many times I've gotten the wrong part because of the employee not knowing the right selection.

    I went to an actual store so I could see the selection. I like to pick up the things I buy and ask questions if needed and the staff was very helpful. There were most definitely lots of things to choose from. Organized inventory and very convenient location. However, I do honestly believe that the Prices could be a bit lower and it would be nice if they had more sales. A weekly newsletter accessible online would be an even better feature too.     I often order my parts online unless I am not too sure which parts I need exactly. In which case the associates always try and eager to help with knowledgeable suggestions. Personally I would like to see Advanced Auto Parts put two to three car bays in the parking lot next to the store so it would be easier to get help looking at your car.     I looked them up online, they seemed to have everything I wanted. However I wanted to talk to someone so I stopped at the store while running errands. Advance Auto Parts has good prices and helpful staff. They don't treat me like a dumb female and take the time to listen to your questions without looking like you're bothering them. They make you feel comfortable when asking those questions. The only thing is prices are a bit high for someone on a fixed income. But the service outweighs the cost a bit. I might improve the number of people working because at one time I had to wait awhile to get someone to help me. But in the end it was worth the wait to get what I needed and not have to go back over and over. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

    I love going to Advance Auto Parts. I may be going for one or two things but always leave with a few more. Very good prices. I first looked online to see if they had the part and then called the store. I went down to the store to get the part I needed. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about everything I needed that day. They have always been very good to me and they have always had the parts I'm looking for. Even if they don't they would order it that day and if I call early enough it would be there that afternoon. The stores I enter are always clean and well stocked with the up to date products.     Used online ordering, placed order and only store that had all parts in stock was not in my area but wanted all parts from same location so I called to get directions. Call was answered by a different location but was told the phone transferred to them because the other was probably busy but the store was open. I was given directions, drove 45 minutes to location and it was closed. When returned home, called customer service and explained what happened and though the dollar amount wasn't enough to qualify for free shipping, but since the mess up was on their behalf that parts should be shipped at no cost. Was told by customer service, either cancel the order or go back the next day.

    I am a senior. Had my car load test of battery and alternator, at Advance in Dorado, Puerto Rico 00646. The mechanic told me I need a battery. I waited a few days until I received my monthly retirement money, and ordered a battery online with a 25% discount on 07/02/2017. Order # **. On 07/03 went to Advance Auto. First they told me there's a $14.95 installation charge. Then the battery did not fit. Then tell sold me a battery for 194.46. After installing the battery they did another load test. They told me I needed an alternator for about 350.00 to 400.00. Why did they bamboozle me, not to run the car more than 5 days? This is really unfair. I have been a Sears member since 1976, but went to Advance because it's closer to home. I will definitely report this to AAA and AARP IN which I belong to both, so no other senior will be taken advantage of. The store # is 01146.

    I really like that they are reasonably priced! All of the employees have knowledge of any questions I ask them and they really have good warranties on all of their parts. I have never had too many issues at this store. However, I had issues with the alternators I was buying for one vehicle I owned in the past. I literally went thru 4 different alternators before I looked elsewhere. I went into the store and every location I visited I had really great employees helping me in which whom seemed like they knew a great deal of any question I had and helped me by going out of their way!     Manager at Hyde Park NY never wants to help. Employees try to help but manager always trying to make a big issue when workers are doing their job correctly. And coupons, codes from store are up to date and should be honored because they are offered from Advance Auto. When I get the manager's name I will post it. I will not shop at the Hyde Park location due to this manager.

    I have to order almost everything and when they order it seems to take forever. Then I have to keep checking to see if my part or parts are in or not. They don't call, email or notify me in any way and that is very disappointing. I also don't like the way the card system works for discounts. It doesn't seem to be much of a discount and it's not a very fair deal at all. You really have to constantly shop there in order to receive ANY kind of discount. I have never got any kind of money off any of my orders and I do a great deal of shopping at that store. Both me and my husband signed up for a discount card and never received any bonus. We even referred several people and don't receive any credit for all that business we make them either.

    Most of the workers are really terrific. I have had a few encounters where the person behind the counter would argue with me about the part that I know that I need. He would say that's not what the computer is telling him. He would not get up and check to compare the item in my hand or from my vehicle to the one in stock. He would just pretty much demand that it needs to be ordered. I have had them order wrong items and not so much as apologize. That's why I refuse to go there when certain workers are there because they make me and even my husband feel like complete idiots. I've even had my receipt along with the part still in box and been refused return because it has left the store.

    Now on the other hand the majority of the workers are extremely kind and go out of their way to assist me. They break things down to help me understand so I know what is going on with my vehicle to the best of their ability. They are really down home type people for the most part. They even give suggestions to attempt to save me money. Customer service actually looks at the vehicle and help diagnose the issue. Most of the employees even let you use some of the tools from inside the store and if you're not sure how or what you are doing they do the very best they can to assist you in any way they can help. They even go above and beyond and check extra things.

    I like Advance Auto Parts because their people are very knowledgeable and helpful and are willing to go out of their way to make things easier for the customer. They are among the better retail stores I have done business with in the past. I have been generally very impressed with Advance Auto Parts, both in-store and online. The website is very easy to use, especially compared with some other retailers like Walmart, Target, etc who provide nearly useless websites, and the customer service in-store is excellent.

    Always had everything in stock that I needed for necessary repairs. Knowledgeable people who work there. Clerks were very helpful and friendly. Was able to answer questions I had about how to repair my car and gave me different price options on different brands. Products I purchased were very well priced. They have a clean store and ample parking outside. Good hours opened. But I did not like that I had to wait. Sometimes too long for help. I also would have liked to see more people working to make time spent in store shorter.

    I ordered brake pads and rotors online. My car was going to the dealer for a number of repairs, including the brakes. The service advisor suggested that I get the pads and rotors from a parts store, rather than at the dealer. I ordered pads and rotors online, with a store pickup option. I picked them up the following day. I had to wait about 10 minutes because there was only ONE person working the parts counter! I told him I had an online order and he brought it to me. I noticed the rotor boxes were taped shut. I asked him to verify that these were the correct rotors for my car. After answering all his question, he assured me they were correct.

    The next day I was having the work done at the dealer. Guess what happened when they went to replace the rotors? Yep, the ones I got from Advance were WRONG. So, my options were to pay the dealer price for their rotors, or pay the tech twice while I searched for the correct ones. I decided to just get the OEM rotors so I could get my car back. So thanks Advance Auto, your error ended up costing ME an additional $80 because YOU supplied ME with the wrong part! Thanks for nothing! Oh, and BTW, I had to wait in line AGAIN to return the wrong part.

    The sales people at Advance Auto Parts are very knowledgeable about all the products in the store. If the person you are talking with doesn't know the answer to your question, they will direct you to someone who knows what you are looking for. Also they are always helpful in locating the part you are looking for. However, if you don't know what you are looking for shopping at Advance Auto can be overwhelming. They have every part for a vehicle imaginable and it would be helpful if they had a computer index for customers in store if all the associates are busy. In person the shopping experience was pleasant though. I highly recommend them to anyone.

    I like that they have many locations in my area and that all stores can access each other's inventory lists on their stores' computers. You tell the clerk what is broken on the vehicle and what make and model the vehicle is. They input the info in their computer and the computer tells us exactly where to find the parts and what the part number is. I wish they had more car decals though and that I could see entire inventory for each specific store online so that I didn't have to wait for shipping.

    Advanced Auto Parts is my favorite car place to buy all of my essentials for my car. The product selection at Advanced Auto Parts is really wide ranged, which makes it easier finding what I need every time I go. Also, I enjoy the store as a whole, considering it is always clean and the employees always treat me very well. They are a great franchise, and the employees are trained well. The customer service has always been superb, and they always make sure to go out of their way to help me find what I need. I also like that they a program set up for return customers.     Have everything I need to work on my car and keep it running in top shape. Big bright store that makes it easy to find whatever I need. My local store is close to home and always has knowledgeable salespeople who are always willing to help. I usually purchase in store because of shipping fees online. I would prefer to buy more online if they offered free shipping or even discounted shipping for frequent shoppers. Sometimes I need a part that only costs a few dollars and the shipping cost makes it unaffordable to buy online.

    Once again I was looking for parts and offered a 20% off to place order and pick up in store. Each of the 3 times I have gone to do this the website showed the parts in stock, and states most orders will be filled in 30 minutes, so I place the order and it states an email will be sent when order is completed. Problem is the emails never come! Yesterday I had to call for my order placed on June 21st, 5 days later! Yes it was ready for pickup. I have contacted the company and they say they will look into it but problem is still there and the employees even say the online ordering is a joke! The major problem with this is even if you go in store a day later to pick up parts, the employees can't complete your order if the computer system hasn't sent them the order! A big joke. I will probably go to Autozone or O'Reilly from now on. I may not get the discount but at least can get the parts within 24 hours.

    I love how knowledgeable the employees are. They are very friendly and helpful with every thing I ever need.     Advance Auto carries good parts and service. I ordered parts in their stores and they always had what I needed. They had clean stores with a big selection of products in stock, no waiting or offered shipping information to make arrangements for pickup. They had a store in several locations and had good hours. Their employees seemed to have some knowledge and experience in working on cars to guide me to extra things I might need to do the job. They also offer a parts delivery service I can get an app for on a smart phone. It is always an issue when your car is broke to get a ride to the part store. Plus, sometimes I gotta run back and forth. So if they did that with a mechanic, it would be like Geek Squad for your car.

    Advance Auto Parts have good customer service. They usually have what I want and there are plenty of self service products. The store is clean and it has plenty of parking. I usually get in and out quick. I went in to the store and saw what I needed on the shelf. I purchased at the checkout. I felt the pricing and selection were good enough. I installed the product and I didn't have any problems. However, the store could have a larger selection of cleaning products. More displays of accessories would be great.     Purchasing the brake parts needed was easy and product was found quickly. The selection wasn't as great as I would have liked to have been but did have what I needed in stock when I was there. Also, they could possibly have friendlier staff members.     I am a Gold status commercial customer and I shop at the Mclean Va store 9027. The manager Jeb is an absolute saint. I've never seen him not busy and he never complains about it. I often walk in and need hard to get parts like custom brake lines and Jeb will jump to help me after greeting me by name when I walk in.     Purchased in store and the selection was vast. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The worker showed me multiple options I could pick from and didn't pressure me to buy the most expensive part. This site is close to my house and the men who helped me didn't make me feel stupid with all of my questions. The service I received was very quick and the store was getting busy. I can only say I wish it was easier to find things since the store is big so it's easy to get lost. Having aisle signs would be good for a person like me. It would also be good to have more than two people working. Even though they are sufficient it might ease their stress as well.

    Advance Auto Parts is customer focused, no questions asked, associates were friendly and professional. Manager (female) knows here stuff. Battery stock was low but we worked it out, and I will go back again. Guarantees are good too. I was very satisfied with my trip here, and have gone back. I have NOT be mistreated or ignored.     The team members are very knowledgeable and friendly. Most of the time I get the right part the first time around. Parts I buy here are of really good quality. However, delivery time on parts are really long and it holds up repair time. They need more help at the professional help desk since they only have one in each store.     Advance Auto Parts is quite a lovely company overall. The company itself is run in a very professional and organized manner. All of the employees seem happy and are trained very well at their jobs.     Advance Auto Parts sell quality auto parts and car and truck accessories in virtually every city in America. I have bought tons of parts from them and I like that they usually have the part or accessory I need in stock or they can get it quick if not. I like that they give coupons frequently but it doesn't make up for the fact that they have a website that is nearly impossible to use. Their website is lacking compared to RockAuto which has had the best auto parts website for 15+ years. Also AutoZone's website has vehicle repair guides which are nice. Ordering online is difficult because the Advance Auto Parts site is not very useful. It shows products not intended for your specific vehicle, doesn't let you browse without selecting a vehicle, and the vehicle selection process is a pain. Otherwise I like this store.

    They put my windshield wiper on for me. I visited the physical store and told the employee what I wanted. It only took a minute to look up the windshield wiper that I wanted to replace. I didn't know how to do it myself, so I really appreciated the assistance. However, they could have more employees since I seemed to be there at a busy time.     It is a auto parts store pretty close to my home. They will test your battery, alternator, etc. and help you figure out what needs replaced. Their prices are reasonable and they are usually stocked well on needed parts. As well as lots of product choices for oil, oil type, cleaning products, tire and rim cleaners and polish, lots of cosmetic finishing touches, and much more.

    My biggest complaint about them is that the staff is not very knowledgeable. When I go in to get a specific part for the engine, they look it up, match the type of engine, and go get the part and I buy it. Go home to my shop and go to install and it is the wrong part. Now my vehicle is apart and I have to hope spouse is home to use their vehicle to go back and hope I get the right part by bringing the old one as well to match it. I do not count on it being the wrong part every time I need a bolt on part but I do now.

    I like that at Advance Auto Parts there is never a long wait for help. I have ordered items both in the store and online for in-store pickup. The products that I search for online were easy to find and their website was very user-friendly. I find their store to be very well run and every time I come in there I am greeted with a smile. In the store it is very easy to find someone to assist me and the employees are always knowledgeable of the product. The employees are also always friendly when I ask a lot of questions because I myself do not know a lot about vehicles. They also make sure I am given the product with the best quality and the best price.     Advanced Auto Parts is an easy place to go to find things for my car. As a woman buying things for my car can be confusing but in this store it's simple. Also, there are usually other people there like me buying the basics. Many times though I feel like I am the only woman in the store so hire more women. I know that they can't just hire more women but maybe make the working environment more gender neutral. When I go to the store it's because I need something right then (usually windshield wipers). I will normally go directly to the counter and ask for what I need based upon my car model and year. Most of the employees will install the parts for me and I love it!

    Advance Auto Parts is the main store I get parts from. It's good that we have part stores with people working there that know some things about vehicles. I have bought both ways online and in the store. I like to order some things online because it's a lot easier and customer service is a little better online than in stores. Also, the stores need to get tools that we could rent instead of buying the tool. Overall, I had a great experience but I think Advance Auto could improve their customer service. They are very nice people to get to help you in the store and show you on the computer how much it will cost me but some of them don't know what they were doing and how to find it on the computer or the price of the part. I order it in store and had to wait to order the parts and they might not have the part there and have to order them and It take two week to get them or they say they have on the phone and when you get there they do not have them.

    I needed a battery for my motorcycle so I went to Advanced Auto. Told them the make year model of the bike of which they gave me a battery and insisted it was correct. GUESS WHAT, NOPE. So I go back with the actual dead battery they credit the difference from the first one to the correct one. I get the battery back to the bike, it's dead. We charged it for an hour or so. I keep the bike battery on a trickle charge but still the battery was weak and didn't fire right up like it should but me not being a mechanic I figured maybe the starter is going on it of which case I did not have money to fix it. Anyways I forgot to plug the trickle charger in and 2 days it was dead. GUESS WHAT - no one told me it only had a 3 month warranty or I would not have purchased it. I was pissed and after spending $107.00 for a useless battery that wasn't even really made for a bike. HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE.

    I would recommend Advance Auto Parts to anyone. They have friendly and attentive service. I needed a part but wasn't sure which brand or size to get. I was asked what kind of car I had and from there we figured out the part I needed.     I had repairs being done on my car at a local mechanic. My mechanic ordered the part and called a few places to get the best price and advanced auto had the best price for the part. He actually ordered it over the phone and it went rather smoothly. Advance Auto Parts took my credit card info over the phone, delivered the part that I needed for the repair in under an hour so I like the fact that they not only had the part but they delivered it that same day to be installed by my mechanic. An hour and a half later my car was like new again. I am satisfied with the services they provided. Happy, would recommend.

    The battery on my truck started to go bad. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and an associate came out to test my battery. After finding it was bad I purchased a new one and the associate installed the new battery for me. I like that they are in close proximity to my house and how their associates are friendly and helpful. I also like that the have a ten percent military discount.     I like that Advance Auto Parts is a local auto store that I can go in and buy things. I shopped in store on my last trip to this store and the service was friendly. I can usually find what I want to find, and if I cannot, someone will help me. The checkout was also fast. But though they have decent prices, some of their prices are a bit off in terms of competitive with other stores around here, as well as online services. They also carry a lot of generic products, but not enough brand name ones.

    Advanced Auto Parts is where I go when I need a part for one of my vehicles. I found the customer service to be very good. They gave tons of parts and books that show you how to do it yourself. They also sell accessories that you can decorate your car with. They are very knowledgeable about their parts and they are always willing to help by looking up what parts go with what vehicles. I like that they will come out and check your battery and oil. They also will help you install simple things like windshield wipers or fuses.     If I purchase a motorcycle battery from Advance for $100. It went bad within the first two months of the warranty three separate times leaving me stranded. Would not refund my money. The manager and the counter help. The best the counter help and her manager Sarah Made me Furious And called the police on me. If I could give them a negative review With negative Stars I would. Right now they receive a zero stars for their incompetence and crappy merchandise. I would discourage anyone from purchasing any products from this Disreputable Company.

    Well, it was only a matter of time. Advance Auto Parts has joined the ranks of Auto Zone. Wrong part ordered by store personnel. Not going to be made happy as a customer. Long trip back and forth to get them to right THEIR wrong. No refund without bankcard and driver's license. AAP has lost my business for good. Dropped my trading with AZ some years ago. AAP, welcome to the ostracized world. Should have gone to NAPA in the first place. Never been dissatisfied with them.

    Advance Auto Parts is very close to our home, which plays a big part for us when needing parts. Also they have a great staff that is very helpful and willing to search for parts at other locations. Whenever I have issues finding what I need, the staff is more than willing to make sure I have all the correct items I need. If they do not have the item in stock, they get it for me as soon as they can, which is usually 1-2 days. However, it is too bad the store isn't bigger to be able to have more on hand. There is also little information in certain areas as to what to use for your vehicle depending on what you need.

    I like that I could choose between new and refurbished items and that I could keep my receipt and bring back original part for the core charge. Some places want it at time of purchase. It is easy to find what I am looking for, the selection was great, and associates were knowledgeable and very helpful. I simply gave them the information on my vehicle and they looked it up and immediately told me what was available. My part was in another location and they did everything necessary to have it sent to their store. It only took until the next afternoon to get it there also which was great! I enjoy buying from Advance Auto Parts. However, I wish they had a better selection of accessories (seat covers, air fresheners and other items to dress my car up) to choose from.
