Always go to the Advance store in Denver North Carolina #08069. As long as Adam is at the store I know I'll be in good hands. He is very help with the parts I need. His knowledge of the store and what you need is amazing. And make it a pleasure to have his assistant. Bennett

I was helped by 3 young associates at the Wadesboro NC Advanced Auto Parts. I was impressed by their knowledge and by how friendly they were. They definitely did a good job not only with my car but with their customer service skills as well.

Untrustworthy. Mark my parts as picked up. Were never picked up. Shipped one of them to an address where I'm not at over a 1000 miles away. Will not issue a refund. I haven't gotten any of the parts. I'm gonna make a complaint to my credit card. Do not shop with these crooks. I will never shop with them again. When you talk to him they give you the runaround over and over and over.

I will never do business with Advance Auto again. I bought a gift card online using a 3rd party, being told it could be used in store or online. Nope! Only can be used online. Fine, I ordered what parts I needed online. Had some money left so I bought 2 floor jacks to be picked up and a set of come-a-longs to be shipped. The come-a-longs arrived with no issue. The 2 floor jacks that were to be picked up were both canceled in store after I went to pick them up as they did not have them in stock. I never once got a refund for either of those items.
A couple weeks ago I needed a brake caliper. I used the remainder of the gift card from hell $72 and change to order it and paid for the remainder $90ish with my debit card. Today I took the caliper back for the core charge of $80.81 to be refunded. Well, the computer there refunded it back to a gift card ending in 6223. I never even spent that much on a gift card with that order and my gc doesn't even end in those 4 numbers. Neither to do any of my cards. So I have no idea where tf they sent that money. This company is the most disorganized company I have ever dealt with. Customer service can't help me. The store can't help me. And the worst part is nobody gives a shit!

My daughter's battery died in her car so we headed to Advance Auto here. We were assisted by Vincent. He was knowledgeable, professional, Polite and so resourceful. Battery was replaced and we are so happy. Thank you Vincent.

The customer service department at Advance Auto Parts provided absolutely no support for a warranty claim on a failed part. I recommend buying parts elsewhere if you want to avoid the frustration of dealing with them. This company is not thriving for good reason.

Try to use their website. First challenge is getting logged in. Most of the time I cannot while using my correct login, so I try to create a new one by changing my password. Another feat that I could not accomplish because of their terrible protocols. I meet all and I say all because Fort Knox doesn't have that many and a get an error message. I also stopped using Advanced Auto Parts because of their inferior product line. If you like to replace the same part A year later go ahead and try to save money and shop at this store. Do yourself a favor and buy Quality Parts from someone else.

My son and I visited store # 07362 at 5550 North Wickham Rd Melbourne FL 5 minutes before closing because my son's battery died down the street at a gas station and we were unable to get the battery to charge with jumping cables so we needed a new battery. ** offered to come down to the gas station and assist us with changing the battery since the store was closing soon and he was about to leave. He met us at the gas station, swapped out the battery, made sure the car started and took our old battery with him. All with a pleasant and wonderful attitude. I do hope the manager at this store is aware of what an amazing employee and person ** is. I will go out of my way to visit this store for my auto parts going forward. Thank you **!

I ordered a part from the Richmond KY location, it was supposed to be there at that location the next day. It not arrive the next day or day after. I needed the part and although Ii had been a very LOYAL customer to AA for at least five years, I had no choice but to look at other parts stores. When I found the exact part I needed at another parts store I was very shocked to see a 31 dollar difference on a 41 dollar purchase from AA so I quickly bought the part from the other store and went home put it on, a perfect fit.
So I went back to AA and asked for a refund, of course I purchased the item on my debit card, so now I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my money back for a part that was literally three times the cost as other part stores and that I did not receive. I got poor service on an overpriced item. What I suggest is 1 shop around on any purchase over 20 dollars, don't just shop with them cause that's your parts store. You could possibly save a LOT of money. 2 do not pay for the part before it arrives at the store, let them order it, then pay upon arrival. Hope this review helps.

Don’t purchase online! Won’t be able to return to store if price is cheaper. Very rude. Poor customer satisfaction. They have poor policies that need to be changed. Won’t ever go back. Shouldn’t have to pay a higher price online for something I pick up in store. It was delivered to my house.

I've been around the automotive industry 56 years 56. Autozone, Advance Auto all are taking advantage of americans. They're price gouging us to death. 04 jeep grand cherokee. They want 45.00 for hub bolts that sell for like 6.00. Absolutely ridiculous. 5.00 relay just a basic 4 prong relay 35.00. Online 7.00. Same manufacturer lol. And the same on all their parts and chemicals like brake cleaner which is a wasteful product just used for cleaning almost 10.00. Price gouging up the ass and don't care. Go into their stores. Almost on any day hardly nobody in them. Let's put these foreign owned gouging businesses right out!!!!

Updated on 09/06/2025: I just want a refund. This customer service experience has been absolutely horrible where I was told there would be nothing done for at least "8 days" (which has now passed) before I could either get a refund or replacement. I will go ahead and deal with another company more reliable for future purchases. This has cost me more money having to call someone to help me fix only half the issue with my car. I understand this is your company's policy but to keep the customer waiting without even offering anything in compensation including the product is just not right. I just want my money back. I have video of the ups driver only delivering 2 out of 3 items.
Original Review: I am inquiring about order # ** about a missing rotor. I filed a claim and was told it would be 8 days before they can process this and then I can get a new rotor. This is already costing more money than it should have because I had someone come over to fix my car, only to realize that I was missing the rotor and now I got to pay extra and on top of that, my old rotor is so messed up it won't last much longer. I tried your chat service several times and sent emails requesting to speak to someone that can actually help me, but to no avail. I need to speak with someone that can resolve this issue, promptly.

On Sunday, August 24, I purchased a 1/2-inch DieHard impact wrench socket that unfortunately broke the very same day. When I returned it to the store, Rich, the store manager, made it clear that their policy does not allow refunds or exchanges for different items; the exchange must be for the exact same product I purchased. Rich’s dismissive approach to customer service was frustrating, as he stated that customers can either exchange purchased items for an identical replacement or forfeit their money entirely.
To make matters worse, I was informed that the socket I originally bought was out of stock and would need to be specially ordered for delivery to the store the next day. I explained to Rich that I would be traveling to New York the following day and would not be able to pick up the replacement. His response was indifferent, emphasizing that it was the customer's responsibility to ensure that their items work correctly.
This experience left me not only disappointed but also deeply frustrated. I have decided to take my business elsewhere and will no longer shop at Advanced Auto Parts. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of consideration for customer satisfaction, and I hope they can improve their service moving forward. I do not recommend purchasing items from Advance Auto Parts.

The people are dealt with are great but the issue I have I just got a new battery today August 22 2025, the battery I got was that I feel is an older battery dated October 20024 almost a year old. If you I am going to buy a new battery it should of been dated in 2025 not 2024. Not right that Advance Auto is selling a battery that is almost 1 year old. I don't think I'll ever buy a battery from them again. $240 is too much for a battery that is 1 year old. I am not happy at all.

Just wanted to share a great experience, Ken and Mike were awesome. I needed a battery for my car, I am not from the area and did not know anyone. They went above and beyond to get my battery changed. The ends were really messed up, they repaired the ends and put the battery in my car, swiftly. These guys are the best. I never expected them to help with the ends. These guys deserve PRAISE for the Job done. Then I find out that Ken is the Manager, never seen a manager doing a battery change. Great Job!!!!

Great service. Oscar R helped me in store today. He was patient, friendly, and very informative. Me and my whole family will always shop here. I was shopping for oil, did not know what I needed. Oscar took the time to look it up in the computer, He found the oil and brought it to the counter. I really appreciate the GREAT!!! customer service.

Had to do a return of a lifetime warranty part less than a year into the purchase. Has full receipt. Was told that it would be returned to the original payment method. I said that payment method doesn't exist anymore. I am told that the money would go back to the bank and then I'd have to fight with them to get it. So in other words, they said they would charge me for something I shouldn't pay for due to the fact that I was hacked and no longer have the card number. They are extremely dishonest and shady as all get out. I told the manager I will never shop there again!!!! I also returned the other part I was planning on purchasing immediately and was told the return will take 10 days!!!

Time on store hours are not accurate. I have been sitting in the parking lot for 30 minutes. 7:30 is the supposedly the opening hour but still not open. Customers have been lost so far. This is very frustrating to me and other customers. That's Advanced Auto in Potsdam NY 13676

HI, I PURCHASED THIS BATTERY DieHard Red Battery: 7586DT Group Size, 650 CCA, 810 CA, 93 Minute Reserve Capacity, Reliable Starting Power. FROM THIS STORE ON JUNE 3, 2025. 10014 Atlantic Blvd, Southside Estates, Jacksonville FL 32225. The battery died 6 days later. Voltage was 0.1 volt tested at battery. I returned to the store june 9, 2025 and received a replacement - the same size and name battery. I returned to the store June 14, 2025 and spoke to the manager saying the battery was 12.24 volts 24 hours after a full charge. I told the manager that the battery was the wrong size and didn't have enough starting power. He said I could not get another free replacement. I asked to buy the correct battery, size 78 and if he would warranty it. He told he would check the battery before I bought it but would not warranty it. Poor Customer Service: Failing to address customer complaints or provide adequate support.

I went in to the atmore store yesterday around 7 pm to buy a battery and the guy Chris check me out. Didn't ask for my phone number. The other guy told he had to get my number for my warranty on my battery. He got mad and cuss the other guy out. The other guy just walked off Advance Auto parts. I want to back there as long as Chris is there.

Old location Imperial Valley in Houston, TX (Store #8412). They've relocated to 644 W Rankin Rd, Ste 102, Houston, TX 77067. My experience with Advance Auto Parts has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. On August 11, 2022, I bought a battery from their old location on Imperial Valley in Houston (Store #8412). It came with a 3-year warranty. Fast forward, I started having issues with the battery while still under warranty. I called customer service, and they told me to return to the store I bought it from. I explained that it had closed, but they found my account using my phone number just not the battery purchase (which made no sense). Then they told me I needed a code from the battery itself, which I didn’t have at the time.
A few days later, I went to a store and found out the store had just relocated to Rankin Road. I ended up buying a new battery on May 23, 2025, and no one could help me replace my battery. The store manager pointed out a local mechanic in the store and asked him to help. When the mechanic removed my battery, he confirmed it was one sold by Advance Auto and said it was definitely still under warranty. We went inside together, and an employee was able to find my purchase right away using my phone number, which the phone rep somehow “couldn’t.”
He claimed the warranty was “almost expired” and warned I wouldn’t be able to return the new one if it failed, completely misleading. I am still under warranty now for that old battery because it was purchased 8/11/22 the current date is 6/7/2025. I went up there again the next day and another employee allowed me to take a pic of their computer system proving my warranty actually ends 8/11/2025. I was able to take a pic of my account in their system showing all this information. The new purchase was on 5/23/25. You ask me, they're up there stealing. Stating my best option would be to keep the new battery and the new warranty.
For the record, this was my first and only time trying to use the warranty. I truly feel I was being taken advantage of, and honestly, I think they assumed I didn’t know my rights because I’m a woman. The store manager even admitted the issue was mishandled and that he had spoken to the employee who caused the confusion. He said he wanted to help but that he was only allowed to issue a merch card. He suggested I contact customer service again so he could authorize a full refund.
I tried that the same day, but customer service was closed. I used the text support option, and after 15 minutes, the rep suddenly said they couldn’t help anymore because I filed a BBB complaint. I was told that because I did that, I could only communicate through the BBB platform. Although, all communication has stopped on their end via email and the BBB platform. No one from the company has responded since their first (and false) reply, where they claimed they tried to contact me multiple times and I was unreachable. That is completely false and I have proof. I contacted customer support again the next day and spoke with Germaine B. and he stated the only way they could help was for me to get the merch card, they would cancel it and then send me a check. l shouldn't have to wait for them to get ready to mail me a check due to their negligence.
The final straw? The mechanic who helped me told me someone from the store told him I was “the lady suing the store.” So they can discuss my situation with other people, but not with me directly? That’s extremely unprofessional and feels retaliatory. I will never spend another dime at Advance Auto Parts. This whole situation has been a nightmare, and I hope this review helps others know what they’re getting into.

Last month, I bought TPMS sensors for a Mercedes-Benz at Advance Auto Parts store #06301. After the sensor was installed in a tire shop, I programmed the sensor, but my dashboard is still showing the tire pressure sign. I took the car to the dealer, and I was told the tire sensor is not compatible with my Benz. The dealer installed the new tire sensor, and it was working well, so I returned the old sensor I was given by the dealer.
On 04/26/2025, when I returned the tire sensor to Advance Auto Parts, store #06301 at 1209 MacDale Blvd., Collingdale, PA, where I bought it, the attendant that I attended to, a white lady that I brought it for, told me that the sensor I returned was not the right one and showed me the right one. I looked at the box to see the number, and I was wrong. I told her that’s what the mechanic that took the sensor out gave me. I took pictures of the right one, and as I was stepping out, I overheard the cashier telling her coworker that I tried to use it on her and that I am a thief, and immediately I told her she’s wrong. This is disrespectful. I am a veteran; $49 is nothing.

I made an online purchase with Advance Auto Parts prior to 7pm and paid extra for same day delivery (it was supposed to arrive by or before 8pm). Not only did it not arrive by 8pm - it never arrived at all! I am senior a citizen on a fixed income and now I have to go and spend more money to make my purchase. These people need to learn what "Truth in Advertising" truly means. Shame on them!

They went over and above in assisting-me with my car needs that had me stranded on the side of the road and recommended service center that repaired my car. I bought a battery 3 years and 7 months ago. It got bad, was after charging at 2V and I went to the Kingston Pike Store in Knoxville TN. The GM told me the warranty is just for 3 years and I cant return/replace. It was already my 3rd battery from them and I didn't want to purchase a new one for another $300. I left with the broken battery. The next day I just wanted to drop off the broken battery to get my deposit core value back. A guy with red hair, beard, tattoed on both arms told me this isn't possible and I had already been told the day before by the GM. I was very calm and just wanted the $10 Deposit and return the battery that way. He had a very bad attitude and during this conversation he even mentioned, if I say one more word, I have to leave the store.
This made me really sad to be treated that way. However, he wanted me to get the receipt and give me a store credit card. I didn't understand, why a store credit card is given to my deposit? Since he was already very rude with me, I just left the store and was really sad the entire day by this treatment. I will never any parts from them anymore and will not expose myself again to the customer service. Very bad!!!

My name is Anna. I'm from out of state. I left my lights on overnight. I'm out of money and I needed a new battery and lo and behold my battery was still under warranty and they brought it to my attention in advance and then they gave me a new battery just like that the end and I was blown away because when is something ever just that easy in life. Well for me it was today dealing with Advance Auto Parts and the battery situation. Thanks y'all. I was in Oxford Florida by the way. It's beautiful here.

Terrific Advance Auto Parts Store the 470 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401 location. Customer Service at this store is exceptional. A Store Manager that gives a darn and who is willing to take the time to listen to a Customer with a battery warranty issue. This Store / its Manager represents Advance Auto Parts, well.
