If I could give a zero I would! Do not use AAA Travel to book car reservations in airports. They do not keep up with the concession fees and charges that rental car companies charge, so these are not included in estimated charges at time of reservation! You’ll be surprised when you get to the counter and finds that your good deal by being a AAA member is not a deal at all! It’s a sham! You could end up paying $50-$100 more for the rental!

If I could give zero stars I would. It's over 90 degrees, use app to get tow. States 90 minutes. Time passes and receive another message, another 70 min. Called AAA, rep stated it would be another 60 min (if they showed up at all). I left the car. I live in a dense metro community, not rural, lots of tow companies. Why would another not be dispatched if the initial wait is over 60 min and some type of follow up with another delay. Very disappointed. Used a private company and car towed in 20 min. I'm dumping AAA at this point if they cannot provide service at the most needed time.

I cancelled my policy 3 weeks prior to renewal. They have tried taking multiple payments out & spent more than 8 hours on the phone to get resolution. I was disconnected, transferred back to my agent & spoke with multiple reps that stated their supervisor wasn’t available. I am writing this review as I grew up knowing AAA and am so disappointed. Bianca was amazing and Paula listened. Don’t trust your agent!

It’s a shame that I had to put a star. I have never ever dealt with the most miserable inconsiderate humans as I have with this company. Tomorrow I will cancel my membership and spread the word until my last breath how crappy this company has become. They try to find any reason to not help you and act you are inconveniencing them even calling. You will wait for over 6 hours minimum for a tow. My case it will prob be 12 hours by the time they get here. I have never even used their device in 2 years. This is a prime example of the spiraling downfall of this country.

They say, "In 70 minutes we will there," and still waiting. Call a towing company at 5:15. By 5:45 they pick my car. In 30 minutes. AAA horrible service.

Out of the 3 years we've been with AAA, We've made three service calls for tows. The 1st call we waited about 4 hours for a tow to our home which was about 5 minutes away from where we were. Eventually we canceled the service call and called a friend to pull us home. The 2nd call we were about 20 minutes away from home and had to wait about 4 hours for the tow truck. The 3rd call we were about 15 minutes away from home. After waiting about 4 hours, I called AAA checking the status and was given a 6 hour window. After complaining and saying a few choice words our wait time was bumped to another 40 minutes.
Recently we renewed membership which was good until 2027. I called AAA to cancel our membership and was told they will cancel but we're still members for another year. Also there are no refunds. We no longer want to do business with AAA. They take total advantage of the clients. They say file complaints with them, but it does no good when a company police themselves. I wish I could give them a zero rating.

After going through 20 to 30 minutes on the phone they sent out Gary’s towing in Wisconsin Rapids. Never talk to Gary’s towing at all. They left me on a gravel road a half of a mile off The pavement road stuck in a puddle of water with too much mud. AAA called me and said that they don’t go down closed/gravel roads and said I was on my own. Thank God somebody came down the road with a 4 x 4 truck pulled me out less than five minutes not expecting anything in return, I gave him $100. AAA had no problem leaving me there. The gravel road was to hunting grounds.

All they want is your money for membership. They don’t provide prompt or courteous service and when your car is damaged during their services they assume no liability. Yet they continue to contact you every year for renewal. My car was fixed in February with body work and when they towed my vehicle they damaged my car and I have before/after photos and they refused liability for the damages because the company they contracted refused liability. This company is a scam just out for money.

PARENTS, I want you to know what our family learned the hard way last night. I purchased a AAA membership for my family years ago - just in case- last night my son was driving a car that broke down on the interstate at 9:30 pm. We called AAA- he sat on the interstate 2 hours waiting before we called a towing company on our own. He waited an additional hour for that truck. AAA texted him to say he was in Que - but never came or called to say they weren’t coming. I called them today.

I called to put in a request for a flat tire. I was advised by two separate employees to do two different course of actions. 1 action was to have them put on a tire for me. 2. Action was to get towed. I put in a request to help me put the tire on. I was broken down on 146 heading northbound in RI. There was heavy traffic where I was broken down and we were in someone's driveway blocking them from getting in. I waited two hours to get any notice about a tow. And still I was kept waiting. I then canceled that request after being advised that the spare tire I had [donut] would likely not be sufficient for the 41 mile traverse to Southcoast ma. I requested a tow. I was told they would see what they could do. 2 more hours went by and still they didn't have any answers for me or tows. At this point we had been waiting for 4 hours for any roadside service.
In this time I decided to take matters in my own hands and search for a video on YouTube on how to change a tire. In the time it took them to reach back out to me I researched how to change a tire. Learned how to change a tire. Changed the tire and started to drive back home on the donut spare I had. In that whole time I received 5 calls from various triple AAA service agents who asked me my name and where I was. Each of them putting In what seemed like a new request. As if the first request was never placed. They kept asking me where I was and my number. It honestly felt like a fever dream and like I was in another dimension. I don't understand the lack of awareness surrounding my location when I placed the first request online and they had my location and I told several service agents my location. And still each one had taken my name number and location down.
I put on the request at 1pm and didn't have any word back about service until about 6pm. Which was after I had to perform the task myself. It was dangerous for me to be traveling back with the donut tire for as long as I did and I had to drive in the right lane all the way back to 140 from 146. I had to have my hazards on and drove 45 miles an hour all the way back which posed several threats to my safety. None of which would've happened if I was provided a tow when I had requested the tow.
They finally called me back with confirmation of a tow coming when I was 10 mins away from my house. In which I declined and told them it was too late and that I found a video on YouTube and installed the tire myself and left. The service rep proceeded to try to put me on hold yet again to put in a "cancelation request" in which I told her she could handle that on her own and that I didn't need to be on the phone for that as the triple AAA team had me waiting for 6 hours already.
I didn't feel that I should waste my time any further. Not only did I not receive roadside assistance when I needed it but I literally taught myself how to do what it was that I was asking them to do at the beginning which was change my tire, in the time it took them to even get back to me with any word on a tow, I received horrible service. Not having a singe triple AAA employee remember any of the details I told them like my name. Where I was. My phone number. How many passengers I was with and what service I needed was beyond infuriating. Having to talk to literally 5 different people and tell them my story over and over again and still not get serviced was the wildest display of incompetence I've ever seen.

Where to start, first experience was with a tow for a flat tire. Happened in a gas station pulling away from the pump. Tire went flat, found out the valve stem cracked. Didn’t drive the car more than 50 feet. Tow driver gets there, loads it up. I’m about 50 miles from home with no knowledge of the area so they suggest I take it to a AAA service center for discounted repairs. I agree. Next morning I get a call that they can’t repair the tire it must be replaced. Bear in mind these tires are almost new, less than 2000 miles on them. Additionally the clown at the service desk tells me that since they can’t match the tire that needs to be replaced (Michelin) they should all be replaced (2000 miles on them). I took a spare wheel/ tire to the facility to replace it myself and was told that I could not do it on their property and that if I continued they would call the police.
I had NJ Manufacturers tow the car to my local repair shop where they replaced the valve and said the tire is absolutely fine. 2nd experience- I lose my brakes on a major highway, call AAA for a tow at 5:50 pm, give them all my info and they tell me they’re going to red flag it because I’m in a dangerous situation. At 7:10 I get a text telling me that my estimated arrival time for the tow service is 8:10, 2 hours and 20 minutes after I placed my call. Done with AAA. Cancelled my renewal. I should have heeded the reviews and you should too.

20-year member and it seems you get less and less benefits for more and more money. I live in a state that gets a lot of snow. Broke down on the side of the interstate with my young daughter on a day the temps were in the 10s. Took them 4 hours to get a tow to me. Hardly any tow companies will work with them. Broke down in my truck this winter and they wouldn’t tow it because it had a plow attached to it! So I had to pay out of pocket for a tow. I’ve tried using their travel agents to plan two trips out of state to save money.
We ended up booking hotels and travel ourselves for a lot cheaper. AAA is awful. They act like they are doing you a huge favor when you call to use the benefits they charge you for and advertise to get new members. Long story short just pay for roadside assistance through your auto insurance and plan your own trips because the only money savings they care about are their own.

DO NOT GO WITH AAA!!!! I went to the AAA office in Frisco Texas a few months ago and wanted to pay off the rest of my membership for the year. The representative told me that I'm not able to do that unless I cancel my current membership and restart a brand new one. So I did that, and incidentally lost my tenure, and went ahead and paid for a full year upfront as well as for my in-laws. Later, I found out that the representative failed to tie my membership number to my Insurance policy and it never renewed because of that. I was canceled and was told that if we would have been in a car accident, they would not have covered me, my wife, or my daughter. So I reinstated it immediately to be legal on the road (my daughter was literally driving in that moment of the phone call), but they told me that they would have to charge me for the first 2 months even though they hadn't covered me!
I've spoken to many supervisors, including the one in Frisco, and they're refusing to fix the issue. Now they are saying that they would've covered me just to justify stealing my money. They continue to apologize but don't give any kind of resolution. Now I'm trying to cancel, but they want an extra $500+. So I'm kind of stuck right now. As soon as I pay this off, I'm never going back to AAA again. They're legally stealing from me and I'm getting the worst customer service I've ever had. BY the way, I had to click on at least one star to be able to post this but I really wouldn't give them even one!!

After more than 30 years using the services of AAA, they have completely left me in a terrible position with no car. An auto tech put my spare tire on and when that tire went flat on the drive home, the new auto tech couldn't get the bolts off because he said they were too tight and the one lock was stripped due to whoever put the wheel on, which we told him was an AAA tech just the day before. He said everything was much too tight and was unable to remove the flat tire. When we called AAA, they opened a claim, told us to not move or touch the car for 5-7 days until they could get an adjuster to come out and confirm our story?
They also refused to tow us the additional two miles to the tire shop to see if they can remove the stripped bolt that was caused by the AAA technician. The AAA was rude, dismissive, and unaccountable for anything we said and acted as if we were making it up. So disappointing. Will definitely be canceling our membership because it is not worth the money every year if they can't help with something this simple.

They are static, show the events from more than 2-3 days back. You go in and pay but you don't get confirmation that you paid. Stop pay once more to realize later that you paid them twice. Definitely, AAA.com needs a total system review and upgrade to join all the good companies in having REAL TIME SYSTEMS.

I have spent 3 of this year's calls on the same problem. All I need is a reliable battery. May 1st Carlos came to Lowe's to give me a jump. He said it's not my battery and he left. May 7th same thing, Josh D, a very professional man, said your battery is done and I don't have a replacement. He jumped me so I could get home and wait for a AAA battery.
I looked at my records and my first AAA battery replaced was 7/21/21. The second on 6/14/22, both from Lucy's roadside service. Carlos, from Lucy's showed up with my battery, I showed him my receipt. He said, again, it's not the battery and refused to install my battery. He had some sort of temper tantrum and ended up hitting my right side with his truck. My neighbor witnessed this and called police then took my car to a real mechanic. Guess what, Lucy's roadside service sells bad batteries. For fifty dollars less I got a real battery with a 5 year warranty. I'm at NW hospital for stitches for my leg Carlos hit, on purpose. I'll be finding a new service and AAA, Carlos and Lucy's roadside services will be going to court.

I called AAA for assistance. They told me I would be "prioritized" because I was in an unsafe location. Then they tried to send a drive from Kansas to me.
I called back, gave my location again, then they tried to send a tow to my OH address. It so happened that a company that I have been a member of for almost 35 years, AAA Roadside Assistance, has damaged my classic 1994 Dakota PU through their negligence, and now says quote, "It's not our problem".
I realize that the tow truck company they sent is a private contractor and hired and endorsed by AAA. The accident that the tow truck had with my truck up on the back of it was caused from the tow truck driver running a red light and hitting another vehicle so hard that it ripped the straps attached to the PU's rear axle apart like they were paper, and my PU crashed into the safety bar behind the cab also damaging the cab of the tow truck. The truck was traveling at a high rate of speed and probably accelerating to make the light when it collided with the other vehicle to cause so much damage. I need a new hood, right quarter panel, bumper, radiator, and who knows what else. The Tow truck insurance wants to total the truck, pay me only $3800 and call it a day. What am I going to do? I tried BBB and they are a JOKE. I'm truly depressed. I will never trust AAA Roadside assistance to send their chosen tow truck company to move my vehicle again.

Not sure if I have to click 1 star, but take thst to mean 0 stars, can't get it to erase. Negligent, apathetic and borderline criminal behavior from this company. I got amazing response from a tow truck company (they have nothing to do with this review, the toe company had compassion and were competent. Proved I could trust them after losing all my faith because of the lack of service received from multiple AAA employees, supervisors included.
Flat tire, waiting off the interstate. First employee seemed dumb but enough IQ to help, got a supposed tow truck on the way after 20 minutes on the phone. Tow driver calls us (again this is not their fault, it is AAA!) And we try and share location and he's saying locations and landmarks we have no clue about and same to him. This was because we were in Georgia, Vermont and the tow truck was dispatched from the STATE of Georgia despite Vermont not being near Georgia certainly not for anything urgent. Now you may think, simple mistake, it happens. However, the employee, Keena/Kina was the name, had already found our location and had mentioned the 2 nearest gas stations off of our exit. I confirmed it off using my app and they confirmed other roads around is too.
If drivers could be in a life or death situation, waiting off the interstate is certainly not the safest place and I honestly cry for those who have been abused by AAA in even worse situations!! Why are their systems using location and finding a local towing company so easy to fail? The lady we spoke with was "halfway across the world!" According to her! That's not an immediate problem if they accurately use GPS/Maps to find someone. I fear it could easily turn a life/death situation into a death situation- we didn't have the 16-digit AAA number on us so it took ~3 minutes before we were even given the chance to speak with an employee.
AAA employees are those who have enough braincells to breathe and speak. Nothing more. And they're apathetic. I wouldn't mind speaking to someone who didn't know things if they were genuine, cared etc. Our call had already been escalated to urgent by so why did they dispatch a tow truck to us who was probably 1,000 miles away? Your life could be in AAA's hands, I pray it never is though. I already have PTSD and I'm still feeling the zoom and rumble of car for the hours we were stuck on the side as the cars in the interstate zoomed past us. This was the tip of the iceberg. No fault to the first tow truck driver in Georgia, to be clear he was given faulty dispatch instructions and we actually began laughing as we realized he wasn't even in the same US state!
The 2nd employee offered more nonsense, we called again and requested a supervisor. The first supervisor just transferred us (however IDK if this was their fault or they legit couldn't help us do I don't fault the female supervisor. I forgot the name.) Finally, Tyler the last supervisor we spoke with was much better and finally got us connected to a tow company who helped us (opposite of our experience with AAA, night and day.) So Tyler was fine, I'll give the entire star of review to him, gave 5 star service and 0 for AAA as a whole. Yes AAA eventually fixed my problem but no one in an urgent situation, stranded off an interstate should have to realize the tow truck "on the way" was a thousand miles away in a different state. Glad we all could laugh once we realized the mishap.
AAA is in dire need to improve their customer service. They're almost like 911 in that their customers could be in dangerous situations as I was in today. It wasn't completely dangerous but I did not feel safe. I write this review out of spite for AAA, yes, but mostly as a sad warning. Your life does not matter to AAA, if you have any alternatives I would please consider them if possible. I understand a lot of people sadly depend on this company.

Today, my longstanding trust in AAA’s service was significantly undermined. As a Plus member, I expected reliable and prompt service when I urgently needed a battery replacement. Instead, what I experienced was a series of letdowns that left me without a vehicle for the entire day. First, after waiting for a couple of hours, the technician arrived unprepared and informed me that he did not have the necessary equipment to replace a battery (specifically, he doesn't carry batteries!). When I reached out to customer service, they assured me another technician would be dispatched immediately.
Unfortunately, this too fell through, as the second technician contacted me past the scheduled arrival time to inform me that the service would need to wait until the next day because this type of job takes a while. Let me note, I didn't call them in the middle of the night. This all began very early in the afternoon, with the second tech calling a few minutes past 4:00 PM, so no reason as to why this needed to be delayed a day.
This lack of service reliability and poor communication is not what I expect from a membership that I have invested in for nearly two decades, especially when it comes with an additional premium for enhanced services. I called and canceled my membership. I want to share my experience to highlight the importance of accountability in customer service. We subscribe to these services for peace of mind and support in times of need. Today, that was not delivered.

I called AAA of Georgia at around 8 p.m. on March 24, 2024, for road service due to a flat tire, but it took 15 hours for the service to arrive. During three or four phone calls during the night, I was told service was going to be sent, but then received text messages saying there was a delay. A dispatcher finally told me no one was available and it would be sometime after 6:30 a.m. before anyone was dispatched. Service arrived around 11 a.m., after more phone calls. After sleeping in my car on a gravel road in a national forest overnight, I also had begun phoning towing/road service companies directly. One owner told me AAA Georgia now has abysmal service because most towing companies will not work for it due to its refusal to pay reasonable fees to them. He said some people have waited two or three days for service after less urgent calls, such as dead batteries at home.
I eventually arranged for a towing company to help me, but AAA finally showed up first. The misrepresentations were the worst part. There never was going to be anyone sent to help me overnight. If AAA had been straightforward, I could have obtained service from someone else. But as a member of AAA for most of the past 45 years, I initially believed it would do what it is supposed to do. If AAA just wants to peddle insurance and collect commissions for selling fancy vacation packages, it should stop claiming to provide emergency road service. I give AAA Georgia minus 1 million stars, although I cannot transmit this form unless I check at least one star.

Terrible service. A few months ago, our car had a dead battery. We were home and the car was in our driveway. We called AAA and it took 10 hours before they finally showed up at about 10:30 PM. We were annoyed, but since we were home, we didn't get overly upset. Last night, I got a flat on the Florida TPKE at about 8:45 PM. I am 80 years old and I was alone. I got off the TPKE and pulled into a gas station. I contact AAA and gave my location and cell phone. No one called. I got a message update saying, "We will update you." I tried calling them but no one answered although I followed all the prompts. My husband arrived, but no news from AAA. After 1 1/2 hrs, my husband asked a man to change my tire which he was kind enough to do. I tried to contact AAA to cancel the request for assistance, but again, no one answered the phone!
At 11:00 PM, someone called. I told them that we have paid AAA for 57 years and that this service is terrible and unacceptable. How long should I wait at a gas station at night. They never said when they would come. Is it reasonable to wait 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours? This is not service! This is a frightening experience. Do not use AAA in Florida.

They tell me not to worry tow should be there within the hour and they will send notifications to my phone regularly. An hour goes by not one notification or tow truck. I call them a second time and their excuse was "we are sorry something happened and the dispatch never called the tow", so they put the order in again. Another hour goes by still no tow, no jumper cables, no notifications. I start asking others in parking lot for jumper cables. You would be surprised how many guys with large pickup trucks don't carry jumper cables.
Finally I find someone that has cables. Took 5 mins to jump my battery and I am up and running. After 2.5 hours the tow was still a now show. Been a member since 2008 and I never really used their service. This one time I needed their help and they stood me up. Imagine if I was stranded or broken down on the side of a highway with my kid. Worst part is I had renewed my membership just three days prior to my incident. I will not be making this mistake again. Tows are expensive and most people including myself, buy into the cheap $100/year membership. This is my response to AAA for a roadside service call for a dead battery. Well to be honest, my experience was very disappointing. I am not in California; I am located in New Mexico. I guess all out of California calls go to a call center in southern California, then get transferred to the according state where the customer is. So, I called that number, and the California agent said they would transfer me to the New Mexico team. That’s great, the problem is the New Mexico team never answered the phone. The first call I was on hold for 16 minutes. I thought, this can’t be right, so I hung up and called again. Same thing, I was on hold for 15 minutes this time. The recorded message said they were sending me a link to a virtual agent, but I wasn’t receiving them. After sitting for about 50 minutes wondering what I was going to do now, I finally did receive a link to the virtual agent. About 45 minutes later the service vehicle arrived.
After getting the jump start, the service tech tested my alternator and starter. He told me they were both bad and needed to be replaced (car has 60K miles on it). The next day I took the car to a shop to make arrangements for the repairs, they told me there’s nothing wrong with the alternator or starter. They both tested great. Hmmm, I thought. So, I took it to a second shop, they said the same thing, alternator and starter are fine. So now I’ll have to question any advice from an AAA tech. I’m shopping around for options for roadside service now. I will be posting this on Google as well.

I have been a member since 2010 and my parents for at least 30 years. I have used roadside assistance to change my battery or a tire several times during that time period and been well taken care of at my home. I have kept my membership because the convenience of having help with my car at home has always been consistent, but also in case of emergencies like my situation on 3/24/2024. I called and spoke to a representative at 7:30pm. My car wouldn’t start and I was on the shoulder of a turnpike about 95miles from home. I was told that it would cost me about $450 out of pocket to tow my car to home, which I approved.
I received a text telling me a wrecker would be to me by 9:33pm. I called twice, once around 8:30pm and again at 9:30pm, both automated services told me wrecker would be to me by 9:33 pm. When no one showed up by 9:35 I called and spoke to a representative again. I was told that a wrecker had not been sent out to me bc it was going to cost me an out of pocket fee. After holding for 15 min, and agreeing to the out of pocket expense for the second time, I was told a wrecker would be sent to me in 30 min. Severe storms were heading my way, cars driving by at 85 mph in the dark, and I had been waiting over two hours.
Luckily my husband was able to provide me road side assistance and got my car to start. It wouldn’t go above 35 mph but that is how I drove it the 95 miles home. In a post Covid world, 2024, do people just not care about anything anymore or are we breeding an age of incompetency? Had a doctor appointment this morning at Toledo Hospital. Came out at 10:30 am to valet saying that the Jeep wouldn't start. Went down and sure enough, nothing. At 11:00 am, Made a AAA request on the app for roadside. After 45 minutes, it said they were here. They weren't. I called and gave them my phone number for the driver. It's a Michigan number so area code is 734. They even read it back, ensuring they had the correct number. They said "Actually, the driver has an est arrival of 12:04." "Okay no problem, Please have them call me." No call ever received.
Called back at 12:11. AAA said the number they had given the driver started with 473 NOT 734. So they sent a driver to the wrong location AND gave him the wrong number. So what did AAA do? They cancelled the tow/service call. All they had to do was make a few clicks on the computer to make sure they had the number right. But why would they do that? It just makes too much sense.
So, they dispatch another vehicle to the CORRECT location and take my number down. After giving them the height clearance of the garage, my exact location and everything I get a call from the AAA tow driver Tony saying that he's not gonna be able to get down there because his truck, a flatbed, is too big!!! Instead, he wants to try jumping it with a jump pack. I tell him it's more than likely the starter but he insists. He gets here and of course, it's the starter. He calls AAA, twice, the calls get dropped. Finally, he gets through and gets a wrecker "ALLEGEDLY" dispatched. Well, over an hour later and I'm still here. Almost 4 hours now. I texted Tony the AAA driver that came out and asked if he had any updates on that wrecker. He said "I'm off work now it's out of my hands, sorry for the inconvenience." WHAT???? Thanks for nothing, Tony.
At 2 pm I call AAA again. They put me through to an "advocate" who puts me on hold for 20 mins. Comes back on the line and says "They're looking for a truck to get you." I said "What do you mean looking, as in, they haven't sent someone out yet?" He said, "No, most places don't have wheel lifts and the ones that do, the drivers are off work." I asked, "How long do I have to wait now?" His response, "I don't know, we're looking for a driver...." Thanks AAA.
What the hell is the point of paying an annual or monthly fee for roadside service if you don't get any roadside service? AAA has got to be the biggest scam in the "service" providing world I have ever seen. I finally get towed out at 3:00 PM. FOUR HOURS after the original request for service went out. Big thank you to DAN AT PJS TOWING. He made me laugh the whole way to the shop. Great guy and will be using them for my tows from now on. As a side note, after sitting by the valet garage entrance for the better part of my day, I'm NEVER letting valet park my vehicle at Toledo Hospital ever again. Got a nice, vintage car? I did. Here's a tip. If you ever get stuck with a dead battery that has Immobilized your car, locking up your wheels and shifter in the Palm Beach Bradley Place Publix parking lot, please, whatever you do, don't call the formerly venerable AAA Roadside Assistance for a tow, and just say no when the 2nd Kauff's flatbed car shows up 26 hrs. later to pick your car up when they were explicitly told to bring a smaller tow truck that only used wheel dollies.
When Kauff's did come 30 hrs. after my first 12noon call on Thursday this morning, they actually picked up someone else's identical 2008 Black Bentley Convertible first woman had also left hers unlocked, with her keys, actually in her ignition and took it to "Foreign Affairs," instead of my identical vehicle w notes for tow guys and PB Police on it. What are the odds of that?
When Kauff's Towing came back to correct the mistake that I had alerted them to, this is what they did to my car around 2 pm today when Kauff's finally dropped it off as orig instructed 26 hrs earlier, and repeatedly thereafter in several phn calls with AAA Roadside agents to Dave Overturf at "Foreign Affairs" out on Military Trail South of Okeechobee.
Financially, it's Kauff's Towing and AAA Roadside Assistance responsibility to cover all repairs exclusively by the Bentley body shop, so no $ exposure for me. Guess, it was just "my turn in "The Tank" this week! Unbelievable. Avoid AAA Roadside Assistance Service, and Kauff's Towing, like the plague unless you think this is a good look. It's not. Trust me on this one. They both really s*ck!! My "Foreign Affairs", Service Mgr Guy, Dave Overturf, on the other hand is a "Service Prince" and I highly recommend if you have a Bentley, Mercedes or BMW car that needs serious service. I called today to make sure I had coverage being it's middle of winter and found out about cancellation. No notice received here all year!!! They claim they refunded the money.... Checked both CC, debit cards, and bank accounts!!!! No refund!!!
AAA keeps giving me the runaround. 20 minute wait to hear I need another department, that department for motorcycles says he can’t tell me when, how, or how much I was refunded. He sends me to another department with another 30 minute wait and she claims she can’t help me. I have to wait until tomorrow and talk to the same people she just sent me to!!! Tried to explain to her if they can’t help me and you can’t help me who can???? I said put me through to a supervisor and she replied there are none, I can send them an email and they will call you back in 24 -72 hours!!!! I am done with AAA, getting a lawyer!!!!

I have always been the member but there are about a dozen tows that I'd like information about and they refuse to disclose anything to me at all about my own account. Yesterday, I had a horrible experience with AAA. I have been a AAA roadside subscriber for many years. I can't recall the last time I called AAA for assistance, but yesterday I got a flat tire about a mile from my house. I called AAA at 9:34 p.m. for assistance to replace the flat tire with my spare tire. I was informed that someone would come and change the tire between then and 11:34 p.m. I received a text message that a driver would arrive to replace my tire. However, until 11:38 p.m., no one came, and I was stranded on the roadside in frigid cold weather for over two hours.
When I called AAA again, a person named Jane was rude and told me that no subcontracting service provider had accepted the request so far. She said that she would update me later when someone accepts. When I insisted on knowing how much time it would take, she was still rude and said that she didn't know and could not provide me with a time frame.
I drove to my house with a flat tire, and after midnight, at 12:06, a service provider driver called me and said that he would come and fix my tire. I told him that I had driven to my house and gave him my house address, requesting him to come and change my tire. The driver, after verifying my address, said he would arrive in 30 minutes but came after 1 hour and told me that he didn't have the tool to change my tire. I live in Richmond, VA, the main city, not a remote rural place. I will try to see if I can file a legal case against fraudulent AAA business practices swindling money from customers.

I'm on a highway bridge with absolutely no shoulder waiting to get run over." He asks me my location. I tell him "I'm on I229 North at mile marker 5.4 in St Joseph Mo." In the past 3 years I have tried to use their road side service and each of the three times AAA has left us stranded on the middle of the road at night. The most recent was extremely disappointing as there was no reason or cause given. My daughter was in a car accident and the estimated wait time was 2.5 hours. After waiting the 2.5 hours, when there was 2 minutes left the time added on another 2 hours. After waiting another 2 hours stranded on the side of the road, we called for an update to find out that AAA cancelled the service without notifying us and told us they would not assist and we could try again tomorrow. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for my own tow and waited on the side of the road for 6 hours and still never received service. This is the third time they have done something similar. Will be cancelling, do not rely on them.

Inadequate support and empathy from AAA agents led to a traumatic experience. The lack of communication regarding my premier membership's towing limit resulted in me being misled by a nearby shop. Their refusal to release my car and the coercive tactics used while I was on the phone with AAA left me feeling vulnerable and unsupported. The dismissive attitude of Laura and Elizabeth, along with a sexist incident, further compounded the distress. I am deeply disappointed by the behavior of AAA's auto shop partners. The failure to clearly communicate the towing limit has led to additional expenses and an unsafe experience in an unfamiliar city.
Consequently, my parents and 6 siblings and I have decided not to renew our memberships and join direct competitors. We are unwilling to pay for a premium membership that lacks support, empathy, and leaves us stranded without resources, despite relying on the membership. Our out-of-pocket expenses have not been justified, and we see no benefit in maintaining a AAA membership. The organization, which we counted on, completely let us down and advocated for their untrustworthy, sexist partner auto shop instead.

This is probably been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had dealing with any company that provides roadside assistance to begin. The initial time that the call was first placed was at 11:19 PM. We’ve had to call numerous times to try to figure out any information of what’s going on. We were not notified that a provider canceled the first request and every time we’ve called back to check on the progress of what’s going on, we’re being told the notes are being updated. There’s no solution being given and we’re due to sit here until a provider can be dispatched. They say it’s high volume but then they say that they’re working on it so I’m not really sure if they truly understand what they’re doing or what they’re making people deal with. I’ve always thought AAA was a top rated company but at this point they’re not doing anything to help anybody if they’re just gonna give them a runaround....

I have been a loyal AAA member for over 20 years. It is clear that AAA does not value their customers based on my recent experience. The latch of my car hood was stuck shut so I had to be towed (after the AAA tech tried to get it open). When I got my car back, the interior plastic hood release handle was snapped into a bunch of pieces and left all over the floor. The handle was intact when I tried it. SO, something had to have happened to it when the AAA technician was working on it.
I submitted a damage claim and AAA denied it saying that they could not PROVE that their technician broke it. Well it was working before and he is the only one who touched it so I think that is proof enough. Do you think that a tech is going to admit to his garage that he broke something and have to pay for it? No, of course not. I expected AAA to cover the damage since I used a shop that THEY endorse but even after speaking to a manager, was still denied. So I called for service, "someone" broke my car, and now I have to pay to fix it. Absolutely ridiculous. As for the technician, integrity is doing the right thing even when nobody is watching! If you break something, own up to it.

I wish I could give minus five stars. This is the second time that we needed to call AAA to assist us with our car. One was with a flat tire. It took more than two hours to get the assistance. They could not help and the car needed to be towed. This went from 7:00 PM to midnight. Today, February 12, 2024, I arrived at my car only to find out that the battery was dead. I called AAA at 9:30 PM and talked to a person who told me that I would be called by one of their providers to come to assist me.
After 30 minutes, no one had called me, so I called again, and the automated system first said that I was going to be assisted in 149 minutes (2 hours and 29 minutes). I started to find another solution when AAA called to say that I was going to be assisted in 26 minutes, and then in 19 minutes. No one showed up. It was 11:22 PM, I called AAA and the agent put me on hold, then came back to tell me that the providers were not answering, and she needed to make another request.
I had been waiting that long, and it was 11:34 PM, so I told her that I could not wait two or three more hours. She got really upset, did not let me talk, and hung up on me. I called again and explained the situation to another agent; I had been waiting for a long time, it was cold and raining, and it was about midnight, and no one had assisted me. She escalated the request, and finally, a provider that was 35 minutes away from me called. In the meantime, my husband decided to find jumper cables to come and help me. Unbelievable. I do not want to be an AAA customer anymore! These two experiences during in less than 6 months show that they're not able to provide assistance on the roads.

But then AAA called me on the phone and asked me for my account number and my routing number. They said that the process didn’t go through. But I believe it did because I was not never declined by the App. And I was given a confirmation number.
Anyway now the 96.00 can not be found anywhere. They’re charging me 111.00. Oh did I mention that I paid my bill EARLY. It was not due until 2/21/24. And the payment is supposed to be $34.00 in the first place. But like to get my bills out of the way. Then they sent a letter saying I am now off the automatic payment system. I have not asked for auto payment. 1. So why are they charging 111.00 for a payment that’s still not due? 2. And why didn’t my app say or reject my payment? 3. Why did the app send me a confirmation number? Something feels wrong.

It took 45 min for him to arrive and he diagnosed it as the alternator and that the original battery I had was most likely fine to begin with. That technician gave me a direct number to reach out to and a supervisor to call the next morning and he said he would reach out to dispatch a tow truck to my location. I waited for a whole hour and after finally getting someone on the phone they told me that there is no record of any tow truck getting dispatched to my location. I waited another hour for the truck to come and by this time it was already 7pm. I made it to my home and waited for the next morning to call.
Morning came and when I made the call it ended up that he gave me the wrong number to call. Sounds like I'm getting screwed over. When I first signed up for this service 10 years ago, it was reliable. However, in the past few years their service has faltered greatly. In January 2019, the polar vortex hit Wisconsin with wind chills of -55 below zero. My truck died on on the side of the road on my way home from work, 5 miles from home. I used their mobile app to request a tow and said I was not in a safe place, on the side of the road in arctic temps but someone had to be with the truck. ETA was 45 minutes to an hour. That ETA passed and I was freezing, and thankfully my daughter was able to come and wait with me.. There were no updates on the app. I decide to call.. They claim it was not in the system. I "refile" the claim and receive a new eta of 2 hours, if memory serves me correctly, despite not being in a safe location.
Last winter I had a flat tire, again on a very cold night, not as dangerouly cold. At least I was able to stay warm because I was able to keep my car running. I was given an eta of 1 hour, but they kept pushing the eta out. I think tow companies won't prioritize AAA calls because they are not being fairly compensated by the company. I had gotten off of work at midnight and finally made it home at 5 am. My commute is 15 to 20 minutes. Last spring I called for a tow for my car to be taken in because the manual clutch was failing. I called on a Tuesday evening and it was finally picked up Wednesday afternoon. My daughter, AAA forced to wait with her vehicle when it broke down in a dangerous heat wave. I don't recall how long that wait was. They also recently canceled a tow to a garage on my daughter, because they couldn't find a tow company willing to take her. Because the car was in a safe location, her driveway..
They told her she would have to arrange her own tow. She asked if she would be reimbursed. The answer... Maybe, but no guarantees. I jokingly suggested to push it in the street so it would not be in a safe location anymore. The tow drivers that do eventually show up have always been great and I have no gripe with them. They are just following their dispatch orders. However, I am done paying for this subpar service. I would rather pay a tow truck company directly. Yes it will probably be expensive...but my time is worth more.

When I went out to show the technician where to drive to find my parked vehicle, I was angry and told the driver that I planned to report the dispatcher. He said "you don't have to take it out on me". He was absolutely correct. I apologized, said as much and showed him where to drive to find my vehicle. Finally had to end up placing a roadside assistance call for battery service. I explained in the chat that I wanted to replace a AAA battery under warranty. After then canceling the second attempt, I engaged in an extended chat with an agent who informed me that since we have moved from St Louis County to neighboring Jefferson County, there were no contractors that could provide battery service to my home. He 'thought' that 'maybe' a NAPA dealer would honor the warranty for a new Interstate battery. Calls to few NAPA dealers lead nowhere.
I finally had to drive the car from my home a few miles to the Gravois Bluff shopping center in St Louis County a few miles from my home. I then initiated another call for roadside assistance and waited in the Wal Mart parking lot for about 45 minutes while another contractor was dispatched. When the contractor arrived he confirmed the AAA battery tested bad and quickly replaced it with another battery under the warranty. While I have no complaints with the contractor who replaced the battery .. the path that I had to take for this to happen was ridiculous. Once the warranty on this battery runs out .. I will likely be buying batteries at Wal-Mart.

Typically people only give reviews when very dissatisfied. I am guilty of this. I have been a member of AAA for over 20 years and have called AAA maybe 10 times for some kind of assistance (mostly for flat tires or battery issues for my teenage drivers) and AAA roadside assistance was good. I can understand waiting by the road for an hour and perhaps up to 3 hours in a populated area. My recent experience was a nail in a tire and I was parked next to an air pump at a gas station with the nail exposed. A 10 minute fix to pull the nail and plug and I could of easily put air in my tire afterwards.
Made the initial request for help on the AAA app around 9:30AM. The app immediately said I would have assistance at 10:27AM - but got a phone call at 10:26AM saying someone is on their way. Called AAA at 11:15, with a reply that someone would be there by 11:45. At 11:58AM a person showed up and said I needed to be towed (?) so they called AAA and asked for a tow truck. The app showed they would be there at 1:27. Another call at 1:46 - reply that they are on their way. Called AAA at 2:23PM - said they would look into it and call me back.
At 2:51PM, AAA called to say someone was on their way but there was one person in front of me. Called AAA at 4:16, they said there were 4 people in front of me and it may be a while. I explained my situation and the person on the other end was very helpful (FINALLY) and they were able to get me priority. Got towed to a garage that took them longer to gather my info than to fix the flat. I was finally driving at 5:45PM and not happy with that all day I believed someone was on their way when no one was - keep in mind that each call to AAA had a 5-8 minute wait time before talking to a human, which is understandable - but each response was scripted and not helpful.

I would have never wanted to have a claim because just trying to work with the customer services was bad. They even say to you, "Why are you calling if you're not going to be making a payment" but they start the conversation with "How may may I help you" but if you ask them a question they get very upset. And because you drive your car you pay even more money because they want to know the miles on your car every time you call and if you don't tell them they add what they think you drive and your rate goes up. That was on a Friday and they said by Monday they will call her back with their decision. All of this after she was asking how can she have two accounts when they have all of their info. And she also asked why would she pay for two accounts. No much coherent info was given. Representative kept using the fraud status. I’m writing the review because it was my card that was charged and we called together on speaker so I could understand why I was being charged. Still no one has called us back. I had to use AAA on back to back days. Let me start by saying the companies who responded to the roadside were fantastic- but the AAA system is an epic failure. The first time I waited for 2 hours before receiving a tire change. They didn’t have good record of my location, despite the fact I had taken coordinates as requested by the initial phone person. This was not a storm day, a clear afternoon in a little city. They also had trouble locating my membership so I had to look in my bank statements for the exact date I paid.
Unfortunately I had to use their services again the following day! Another tire change, completely different location - and even though I used their “shared location” feature this time….it was 3 hours before I received service! This was again on side of interstate. I called and would check and each time they would say it will be 45 minutes. Finally one dispatcher on the third call- almost 2/12 hours later said we haven’t found anyone yet… I called Walmart Tire Center in the area and asked someone there for a recommendation- the young man also gave good advice- you can find a towing company then request through AAA that you want that company. I did that and it was darkness when our help arrived.
Both instances I was assured they were going to expedite the matter, and considered being on the side of the freeway an unsafe condition. Both instances companies were unable to be found! Both instances I heard a variety of reasons: we were having difficulty locating you; we are trying to locate someone in the area; we have a new software system and things will be like this for the next 5-6 months. Don’t get me wrong, the people were great and trying but the system is broken. I thought hard what the problem might be….Too many fingers in the pot? Poor communication for sure….Don’t get me wrong the people individually on the phone were good, polite and trying to be helpful- and God bless the the people who are responding to the call. End conclusion: AAA is a circus right now. Be proactive when you call.

The representatives keep lying like the dogs, never give out precisely time. If AAA don't have drivers I strongly suggest AAA should not lie to customers and keep people waiting in the horrific weather conditions, customers are paying membership and only call for services when needed, so we don't needed to get the lies from the representatives.

My mother was confused because the bill is always paid for and they just received the monthly magazine. My aunt called since she has the classic membership. (I have the same membership). The first call said it would be a longer wait time than usual. When the rep came on the phone they asked the usual questions.
Once my aunt told them that they were stuck in Louisville the lady said, "Oh I need to transfer you to the Kentucky line." Once transferred it said main menu so my aunt had to start back over. Once a rep picked up the 2nd time, same procedure of questions and once again my aunt said, "We are stuck in Louisville" and the rep said, "Let me transfer you to the Kentucky Line." We were just transferred SMH. The 3rd and final attempt another rep came on the phone and my Aunt instantly said, "We are stuck in Louisville." Again, the rep said the same thing, "Let me transfer you to the Kentucky Line". My aunt said, "We were given the run around" and the rep reassured that she will transfer them to the proper state and she will stay on the line. As soon as the dial tone came up a recorded message said, "We are currently closed." LOL. You mean to tell me that a 24-hour so-called service is closed.
This company is indeed, "Absent, Aggravating, Abandoners (AAA)". Also, the website to request for assistance was malfunctioning. Looks like the IT team needs to work on the issues on their end. My experience is that in most cases their customer service including their agents lack knowledge in answering questions. I wasted my time going to one of their local offices to have some questions answered on my renewal policy. They could not answer one question correctly in regard to coverages and how the premiums are determined. My wife and I are retired and have clean driving records with the exception of a not at fault accident I had when insured with another carrier under 2 years ago. The insurance company mistakenly recorded the accident as at fault but later changed it to not at fault. AAA rated my auto premium showing the at fault accident.
When I sent them correspondence from the prior companies claims department showing it was change to not at fault they changed their rating to not at fault. Then they told me the bad news that the premium is going up $300 midterm and carried over into the renewal policy increasing the premium close to $900. So what they are saying is that a not at fault accident increase the risk over an at fault accident. I am a retired property and casualty agent for 52 years also owning my own agency. I have never heard of anything like this where a company charges for one not at fault accident but not for an at fault accident especially when it was not their company that paid the $2,000 claim. Something is very wrong and I can't believe the Department of Insurance allows this practice.

I've had AAA for over 15 years and have not had any issue with them until I actually was rear-ended and it's been downhill ever since. I was rear-ended on the freeway in May this year. I submitted a claim right away even though my car had no cosmetic damage. My neck started to hurt so decided to submit a claim just in case it got worse. Over the weekend my neck and back got worse so I sought medical treatment. I ended up in physical therapy and submitted my documents (albeit after they reminded me to send them in). I mailed my documents and have yet to hear back after I submitted them months ago. My car ended up hemorrhaging oil a couple days after the accident.
AAA refused to help pay for my vehicle because they said that the accident couldn't have caused front damage even though common sense would say that I was hit and the force could have knocked things loose. Anyway the worst part of that whole experience was that the claims guy acted so aloof and I had to speak to the other person's insurance and try to handle it myself. Awful experience but I just tried to move on. Well, this month I got an email and letter stating that they were going to cancel my insurance because I owe over $700 due to non-payment since May. I had my account enrolled in autopay and it showed a $0 balance due every month I checked. I thought maybe they were giving me a break because of the accident or that since it had not resolved maybe they paused. NOPE!
I called and they said that their system scheduled the payments but never drafted them. So now I have to pay double monthly payments until the end of my policy next year. I cannot afford to pay them off in one payment so I'm stuck until March. But as soon as I can I will be cancelling my insurance through AAA. I will never recommend them to anyone again.

A second call from me resulted in putting me on hold for 10 minutes. Truck driver finally called and said he'd be there in 10-15 minutes, but by then I had left. Didn't really feel like waiting outside.
AAA did call about an hour later to offer me two options, but the call dropped and they never called back. Did not want to go through the same nonsense for a third time in order to reach someone making false promises. Members have the right to receive services that they have paid for. It's a disgrace that AAA offers "services" that don't necessarily show up in the stated time frame. This has happened to me in the past as well so I will never use AAA again and suggest the same to you.

AAA DON'T provide consumers with the easy reliable services. I attempted to purchase a battery for my car and their UNCERTIFIED technicians seems to knows what's best. They suggested that leave my car running to charge my battery then I should go to Autozone to purchase a battery or have my battery tested and or charge whichever they recommend. AFTER placing their battery tester on the battery showing me that my cranking amps are too low to change the battery.
I called customer service to cancel my membership only to get told that I can't cancel due to my membership being with my phone service provider. Mind you I had to call their company to establish a membership so it could be connected to my provider. This has been an horrible experience. When my car broke down on Saturday due to me needing a battery. I had my kids with me and the tow truck driver took 3 hours to come. He passed us four times going back and foward...smh. Once home I called for assistance again as the tow truck driver advised for a battery and was denied a battery because the technician didn't want to sell a battery if I hadn't had the car looked at by a mechanic to ensure it was my battery.
Now I'm stuck at home LATE FOR WORK and can't drop my kids off to school BECAUSE I NEED A BATTERY. I am having to call Wal-Mart to have a battery delivered. I don't understand the purpose of their services if the services are provided at the UNCERTIFIED technician's discretion. I've NEVER had to beg someone to spend MY MONEY with them. They provide POOR services and is VERY inconvenient!

He was extremely careful with my vehicle putting in on the flatbed and taking it off at Knoll Automotive in Pleasant Hills. I just received a “Non-Renewal” notice from AAA. Apparently if you use the service you’ve paid for they don’t want your business, only membership fees. My (late) husband & I have been Premier members since 2010. There have been several years we have had a tow, but when you live on an island and only rarely travel 20 miles away from your home, our tows have been few and short. In fact from 2019 to 2023 we never used the service, just paid the fees. After my husband's passing I began travel in our RV in January 2023. I purchased RV Roadside Assistance prior to departure. In April 2023 I required tow off a low spot on street in NM. The removal process took less than 15 minutes (after truck arrived) for a total cost of $1,087. Of which AAA only paid $500, I paid the balance of $587. Disappointing, but It was expensive, and nothing to be done but pay it.
Now 5 moths later, after 14 years of customer loyalty, they said I used their service a “disproportionate” amount. Really…? Once in 4 years? Prior to that I can count on one hand times we’ve used the service. My membership fees for my husband, myself, and my son for years (!) and now the RV, MORE than covered their cost of that one tow, of which they only paid a portion. When I called the 800# provided I was told it was final and there was nothing to be done. Avoid AAA. Give your loyalty to a better provider. It’s insulting and infuriating that my AAA card says “Loyal Member since 2010”. Lot of good loyalty does with this miserable company.

I just got off the phone w/ them saying to get my vehicle out of the garage because my apartment has a garage, I need to call the garage towing service and pay out of pocket for it to be brought to the street level! That’s at least $250. The lady of the place told me this morning. So, 15 bloody hours and AAA can’t do anything?!?! Really?! Why do you exist?!?! I have been a AAA member for a very long time...decades actually. I am sad to day it is time for them to go. I mainly use them for roadside assistance and it used to be good, very very good. However, the last few years it has gone down terribly. It is better to just call a tow truck and get it done by a professional than wait for hours and hours and then watch your ticket get cancelled because it took so long. Their Rapid response is not "Rapid" at all....unless 3 hours is considered rapid. I could have called any tow company and been done within the hour. Here I am once again waiting for hours for a simple flat tire repair when I could have just called my friend or my local tire store to come do it.
I choose not to because I am paying for AAA.....for the last time. Also, it is even way worse when you travel...the local companies hate contracting to AAA because it is so hard to get their money for the work performed. AAA in roadside assistance is just a middleman hoping you don't use them. Their other services ....like travel and trip books have lived their life and technology has replaced all of that. And any and all insurance is better than AAA insurance...I mean come on 2 phone calls and you can beat their rates with almost anyone. And customer service...there is no customer service anymore. Used to be when you called they acted like they liked you and wanted to help. Now, all you get is someone wanting to end the call quickly and be done with you....no follow up at all. AAA did not act corporate before, and now they are no better than the roadside assist packages pushed by every car dealership everywhere.

If you're thinking about getting AAA, DON'T. Just like many others here, I have a 1-star rating review. I called AAA in need of a tow. I was waiting for over two hours. I had called twice to check on the status. Both times the calls dropped. No one could tell me anything. I had to keep calling back and was kept on hold. So, I had to call back again and again. The different representatives would ask the same questions over and over.
Then I was told that it would be an additional ninety minutes to two hours!! They kept saying they had many calls that night and it's possible that the drivers declined or cancelled the call. They were lying. I received AAA as a gift till the end of the year. However, I will never use them again. NEVER! I have regular Roadside Assistance with Geico. I called them and they were there in ten minutes of being dispatched. That's right, TEN MINUTES! I should have called Geico initially but chose AAA to avoid using up all my Geico towing privileges.
The driver told me that many towing companies do not want to do business with AAA because they will fight them on reimbursements. So, AAA keeps trying to get a driver at different tow companies that will take the request. They won't even tell you the name of the towing company or their phone number. Geico gives all that information to the customer. Meanwhile, AAA customers gets lied to about what's really going on. They seriously put me under a lot of stress. I am sure that there was never a tow truck coming. They left me stranded. I would have probably been forced to sleep in my car all night if AAA was the only RA I had. Paying out of pocket wouldn't have been an option for me right now either. They ought to just shut down their business because they don't do the consumer any good.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had with your company's dispatch and car transfer service. I believe it is crucial to address these issues, as they greatly affected my overall satisfaction with your services. Firstly, the dispatch process was nothing short of a prolonged and dissatisfaction I encountered. It took an unreasonably long time to connect with a dispatcher, and when I finally did, the communication was far from satisfactory. The time frame to have my vehicle dispatched took longer than what was promised, which led to a frustrating and stressful situation. This caused a number of factors that interfered with my work schedule.
Secondly, the promised timing for car transfer was significantly longer than what was mentioned at the outset. I was assured that the transfer would take no more than an hour and a half, but in reality, it took nearly 3 hours, causing substantial inconvenience and delays to my daily work regimen. This experience not only inconvenienced me but also resulted in a waste of time and a great deal of stress. As a loyal customer of Triple A Company, I expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. I hope to see a prompt resolution and improved service quality in my future interactions with your company.

This happened to me yesterday -- My RV would not start. Controls seemed to be "frozen" in the middle of the night after I got out to go to the restroom and apparently triggered a security response. The noise did stop when I told it to reset. But the steering wheel remained locked (no even a jiggle allowed), and the van would not start. I was always convinced that all I needed was to know how to reset it. The owner's manual had NOTHING in it on the subject.
1. Miserably useless website. Kept throwing me into a horrible loop and given that my cell service was bad, having to chain through multiple layers of menu resulted in about 4-5 calls for every one that got through to a human. Nasty. 2. AAA refused to do anything other than contact a towing company. 3. Towing company then needed to trailer the van given that it was "frozen" -- 4. Found out that they were towing it to someone who would not know what to do.
5. I called a Ford dealer, then back into the AAA phone mess, changed the towing destination to the dealer (who could only promise results in 2 days) -- this is me in the middle of long-distance travel. 6. Campground suggested calling several independent fix-it companies, one of whom suggested seeing if a campground host might recognize the issue and at least help me reduce the time. 7. The campground host DID recognize the problem and it took him about 10 minutes to get the van to reset. GEEZ --.
8. 4 hours after I made the call to AAA, I was able to get back on the road. I called (again) and yes, they did have an easy way to cancel the service call -- I cancelled it. 9. Another hour later, the tow company called me to tell me that they had not yet found someone to tow the van. So AAA never bothered to let them know about the cancellation. To me, this was worse than incompetent.
