I have been bumping into things and falling down the stairs and rooms and hitting my head. I even had to crawl up the stairs, I didn't dare walk. I also ended up getting a pacemaker. The Lifeline service was necessary for me. It was kind of expensive out of my pocket the first time but it's okay now. I just love it and can't live without it. I keep the device on my neck. It's comfortable and doesn't bother me. The Lifeline team is always polite. One time, I fell in the big bathtub and I said, "Oh my god. What am I gonna do?" Then I remembered the Lifeline, and they heard me from way in there and they called in.

I got this Philips Lifeline through the Senior Citizen Program in Bishop, and I was told it was pretty good. My daughter and I talked to them. They’re supposed to be calling me on the 4th of each month, and they haven’t done it. Also right now, the unit hurts my neck. I have good days and bad days. But I’m happy. I wish it covered a bigger area, where I could go up town and press a button if I have trouble but that’s about the only thing. The people at Philips Lifeline are very good. They’re very conscientious, and they show concern in the way they talk to you, which makes you feel happier. I’m satisfied and very happy with the program.

I live by myself and I'm not very mobile. I have fallen several times, so my doctor suggested that I get something to be able to contact help in case of an emergency. This is why I use Philips Lifeline. I feel safer if something happens. I'm taking my showers now like I should. I can get in the shower with it on and not have to worry that if I fall, I won't be able to contact anybody, so I feel much safer and more confident. The help button is convenient and comfortable to use. You don't even know it's there until you need it. I have a wheelchair now, and can go to other rooms and know that it's still going to work in case of an emergency, so that's good.
The Philips Lifeline team has been wonderful. I have hit the button several times by mistake, and they are so cordial and nice. They never get frustrated or upset for your calling for no reason at all, and I really appreciate that. I'm very pleased with them. I wouldn't want anybody else. I like the way they can monitor when something is going wrong or when I need a new button to press. They take care of all that. It's just really a good experience and provides worry-free help when I need it.

I have diabetes and have had some very low blood sugars. I live alone and I'm 90 years old. I have some other health issues and my family and I thought I needed a medical alert device. I've had to use it a couple of times and I was very grateful that I had it. The first time I needed it, I fell out in my garage and broke my hip. It was a Saturday afternoon and everybody was gone. So if I hadn't had that on, I could have laid there for hours. I was taking groceries in and I had opened my storm door and locked it open. I pushed my button and it was just a matter of minutes until I had help. The people I have spoken with on the phone were very friendly.
The other time that I needed it, I woke up on my kitchen floor and I didn't remember anything. I laid there for several hours, but I pushed my button and the lady at the hospital asked me if I wanted an ambulance or if I wanted someone to come first. I told her if I had some help I could get up, but I was not able to pull myself up. It was just a matter of taking that friend's time to get here, and I had help. And then the Lifeline people called back. They gave her time to get here and see what was going on. Soon as I got some food in my stomach, I was okay then.
I have the button on my wrist and I never take it off. I used to take it off to shower, but they told me never to take it off. It would dry right out and everything. I wear it like a bracelet. However, the communicator unit has a limit to how far away I can use it but it worked for me so far. I have two friends that have gotten them because of my experience. And they know that I might not be here if I hadn't had that on when I broke my hip.

Philips Lifeline just sent me a new set of things. I wear mine all the time. I got one because I live alone. I have confidence that I can get help if I need it. The button is comfortable. I scarcely even think it's there. The Philips Lifeline people came in and set it up. Whenever I call, they're very polite in getting information for me so I have no complaints. I've been satisfied with them. People who do live alone really need some kind of protection like Philips because if you fell and hurt yourself, you'd never be able to get to a phone to call for help. It's evidently reliable.

My granddaughter is saying she thought I need a medical alert service because I live alone most of the time. At my age, I'll be 87, and I used to fall. Now I feel safer. I put it around my neck and if I fall, immediately they call. Sleeping at night, I take it off. My granddaughter says I shouldn’t. It's a need to have when you're alone, and when you fall.

Our four daughters were concerned about us being here alone, they wanted somebody to come and stay with us because my husband is 93 and I'm 89. And I said, "I'd rather have the lifeline." But it doesn't work very far outside the house. I was a little disappointed in that. I have accidentally bumped the button which calls it in and they're very polite and want to know if everything's alright. We both use the wristband and not the necklace. It's very easy to use. It's certainly a peace of mind and very comforting to know that they're available to you when you need it.

I live in a five bedroom house, my son lives with me but he was not there at all time. He found me unconscious laying on the floor for 4 hours because he had left and said that he would be back shortly. So my kids thought that I needed some kind of device when he wasn't there but that didn't work out because I fell again and went in to the hospital because I was unable to push the button. Then passing out, I had no control pushing the button on my wrist until I woke up. So then after the two hospitals we had noticed that Philips Lifeline had the necklace device where then if I should fall and I couldn't push the button, it would monitor me lying there and then someone would come. So right now I've had a fall but I was able to get up and I didn't have to use the button. Lifeline had called me that day that I had fallen but I didn't have the necklace then. I feel though if I should fall and I'm able to get up then it was no use calling these guys. Then the machine started to go crazy, blinking and blinking and the necklace that they had sent me they said that it was defective and that it needed a new battery. So they had to give me a new battery plus the wrist band.
Then my wristband shredded after 3 years of using it everyday and then Philips Lifeline came up with a device that I wear around my neck that if I should fall they would be able to monitor me. That seems to be working okay. Then my machine was going off and on and off and on and I couldn't imagine why it was going off and on. Then They called me and told me that I had a bad battery so they replaced that. Right now I haven't had any trouble, thank heavens. I live in a senior citizen complex so as long as I stay within the range that they tell me, I'm okay but if my son goes to work then I'm in the house all by myself. So the only thing that I have to help me is my dog or my lifeline.

Since I moved, I considered giving up my Philips Lifeline, which I’ve had for several years. However, my son absolutely forbids it. He said he felt very comfortable with me having that Lifeline.
I've never needed it as far as needing the Lifeline. But just recently, I had my knee replaced and of course I'm a little bit wobbly. It just makes me feel more comfortable having this lifeline around my neck -- just knowing that if I do fall or if something happens, I can push the button wherever I am. So far, the only interactions I’ve had with Philips Lifeline are when I check in every month to make sure everything is working. I also call them to let them know when I'm going to be gone for a period of time. And every time I've had to call them, which I do occasionally, I've always had good response. Philips Lifeline helped me March a year ago. The lifeline team has been fine because I got immediate help when I needed it. I was hoping they were gonna get the GPS positioning deal so it would help me outside of the house, not just in the house because I keep falling. I need something that's gonna take care of me out and about. I was told that they were working on a GPS system, but I haven't heard anymore. If it doesn't happen in the next several months, I'm gonna switch. Since I'm out and about, I need it more than just in the house. Also, something that needs to be put in the literature is “When you go in and take the shower, if you have the TV on, mute it” because if you’re in the shower and you fall and you got the TV on, you’re not gonna hear somebody calling from the shower.

I'm deaf so I needed Philips Lifeline. I'm satisfied with it. Everything's fine and I would recommend it.

I got the Philips Lifeline because I get seizures and also fell the other month. I fell in the street and the police came and took me to the hospital. The other week, somebody picked me up the street. I don't know if I had a seizure but I have bad balance. I was in the hospital a few months ago and they told me to use a walker instead of a cane. It's good to have the device because I know that there's help around. I just press the button when I'm in the house and even if I'm outside if I'm close to the house.

The experience was very good. It was efficient and relatively fast. When I called them, I convinced them that I should get to the hospital and it was very good that I did. It was an emergency. The lady said, “We’ll have somebody there to pick you up immediately.” Within a matter of just a very few minutes, I grabbed a few things I thought I might need and they were here at our house. When I got to the hospital, soon after that my daughter appeared at the hospital. I said, “How did you know I was here?” She said, “Oh, the alert system called me.” She said, “That’s part of the service.” That was very nice. I had surgery and the problem was corrected.

I purchased the Philips Lifeline medical alert service for my daughter. She pushes the alert button a couple of times when she's fallen in the middle of the night, and it's always been good. The fire department comes and they call me. I live just a couple of doors down so I'm able to get here before the fire department. Now she had a stroke and I have to be with her all the time, but we're still using it just in case we need it in the middle of the night.
The Lifeline team has been friendly and helpful. My only concern is, and this is a technical thing, it has to be plugged in where the computer line comes into the house. That's in another room. We're not able to plug it in to her bedroom, and because she's deaf, she can't always hear it because it has to be in another room because that's where the computer line is. That's the only problem. Technically if that could be worked somehow someday, that would be good. But other than that, everything is good, from the ordering process to the customer service and friendliness of the staff. We've recommended Lifeline to other people.

Because Juanita lives alone and in her 90s, we thought that it was a good idea to have the Philips Lifeline for backup. She's very careful and always wears her little bracelet on and never takes it off, even in the shower. But just a week ago, she had this incident. That was the first time she ever had to really use it. She woke up and was not able to get out of bed. She was having an episode and was able to push the button. It wasn't even 5 minutes before the ambulance was here and we were notified. They got here very quick. The lady could hear her very well, and she could hear the lady talking. So, that was very reassuring. She's very pleased with it.

I've had Philips Lifeline for more than ten years. I was getting older and lived alone, and my daughter thought that I should have something like Philips, so I got one. It makes me comfortable and it makes my daughter happy that I have it. Usually their reps call me once a month to have me test it, if I don’t hear. I also test it on my own. I want to make sure it’s working.
I haven’t had any need to use Philips except one time, a couple of years ago, when I fell. I fell and I didn’t even think about pushing the button. I was more concerned about if I was gonna be able to get up and I hadn’t broken any bones. But apparently the unit sensed that you fall and that’s how I got a call, even though I hadn’t pushed the button. That was good. I did check a while back on one of these that doesn’t charge as much, but they don’t have the capability of sensing if you fall, and they told me most of the time this doesn’t work but I found that it did when I did fall. I just had to replace the unit about six months ago because the battery was bad. I was without it for a short time and I would have liked some help in getting a new one installed, but I did it.

I fell a number of times in the house and I couldn't get up so I decided to get a Philips Lifeline. I'm more careful now but I still needed them a couple of months ago. The last time I slipped going out to the garage I was wearing it and I buzzed them. It was a little difficult to hear but we got through it and they got the firemen here in time to get me up. It's a pain in the neck when I go out, I don't take it off even though it's no good for me outside the house... But if I had taken it off that night, I don't know what I would've done...
Sometimes they've responded a little slowly. I wonder what kind of emergency that is because I'm laying there, I can't move, have to go to the bathroom, and they keep telling me, "We know you need help. We're gonna get it to you soon." And it takes a while. But overall I've been satisfied. I wouldn't be without it that's for sure.

I had an emergency and they took me to the hospital. I was in the hospital two months. They said if my neighbor hadn’t called an ambulance, I may not have made it. Because of that, I decided to purchase the Philips Lifeline medical alert device. Since using it, I’m a lot more confident. I feel more secure with the button. It’s good to know it’s there. I’ve had a couple of misunderstood situations where they called and wanted to know if I needed help, but I said no.
We are sorry to hear you were in the hospital and hope you are doing better now. We are glad to be able to bring you comfort and peace of mind. The button at times can go off accidentally, but please do not worry. Please let the emergency call center representative know you are all right and no help is needed. These things can happen, and we do not want you to be concerned. Thank you and take care!

Philips Lifeline has been very good. I've used it four times. One time when I was talking with their operator on the other end, the firemen were at my front door, so it's very efficient. I just wonder why my neighbor who also has Philips always get a call from them to check at her Lifeline while I don't, though I don't mind because I don't want to have them call me all the time to see if it's working. But I am very satisfied with my experience. I only wish that the lifeline would reach further because I can only use it at home. It's limited. I can't even use it when shopping.

The Philips Lifeline is my first medical alert and I'm happy with it. I've been falling a lot. Sometimes I'd fall and there would be nobody around, so I'd have to crawl to get to a phone. I heard it advertised one day, so I called. Now, I'm not as scared of falling as I was because I know I can get help. Every time I call, they've been wonderful, but once or twice, I couldn't reach a phone and they called somebody to get to me, and it's just been wonderful. I'm comfortable with the device - more comfortable with it than I'd be without it. I won't trade them for anybody else. I hope everybody else that gets one feels the same way about it as I do.

Reviewed Sept. 2, 2014
The one time I had to use the Philips Lifeline, it was about 1 in the morning. I had slipped in my half-bath, which is very near the front door, so I hit the button. They came on, and were very polite. I said, "Look, here's all I need. Call the sheriff's department, get him to send one person in here because all I need is a hand up [as I was kind of wedged in that bathroom]. I don't need the ambulance showing up." Well, they did that. The deputy came in, gave me a hand up. Before the deputy left, she said, "Now, are you sure you're okay?" Well, I didn't know my jaw was broken until the next day - that's when it started swelling. The next day, I got a call from Lifeline. They wanted to know how I was doing. I said, "I'm pretty much okay." The odd thing about it was they acted like they were upset that they didn't drag the whole EMT around here, etc. That definitely didn't sit right with me and that's been my only negative experience with them.
The device itself can use some improvement. The spring that hangs around your neck needs to be easier to lengthen or make shorter. It's stuck most of the time and that's not convenient.

I've had nothing but good with my Philips Lifeline. I have needed them once and they were instant. I had a fall a couple of months ago which I'm still not over. I fell on the garage and it was 5 minutes until I heard my sister and brother-in-law coming in the garage. They knew how to get in. And then my daughter-in-law was here so that all come from Philips Lifeline because they contacted them. I had it on when I had the fall in the garage and I had prompt attention. My son and daughter-in-law have gotten this for me, and they have the phone numbers of my sister and my son and daughter-in-law and they got here so quick and then have taken me to the hospital. So I could not have asked for better, quicker response than what I had from Philips Lifeline. Every once in a while, I'd take it off but now I don't even think about taking this necklace off. I'm very pleased and I could not have asked for any better service. I would recommend them a hundred percent to anybody because they have been so prompt when I have needed them. I hope I don't need them anymore but I know that they're like 1 minute away when I do need them. They're instant and so I can't ask for better service.

So I thought, it's about time that I did something. When I first got the Philips Lifeline, I got it through the mail. My son-in-law hooked it up. And it was the second night, I was dusting the table where the box is and I hit the button. I didn't know it was an alarm button and they answered right away and I said, "Oh, I'm sorry. It was an accident that I just hit the button by mistake." That's the only time I used it. It's over a year already that I had gotten it. It's still around my neck so wherever I go, it's with me. I wouldn’t have had this Philips Lifeline medical alert device except that they said I passed out. I don’t know what happened. I was cleaning the house, getting everything to the kitchen so I wouldn’t have to run back and forth. And the next thing I know, I woke up. I was about to freeze and the door was open, the lights were on, and it was daylight. They said I passed out. If I did, I slept all night on the floor. They took me to the hospital and the doctor wouldn’t let me leave unless I agreed to wear this medical alert device. Nothing has happened since.
There are very few places in the house I can go to without the walker. If I’m in the kitchen, which is small because I live in a mobile home, it’s easy to reach stuff. So maybe when I’m in here, I don’t use the device, but in other parts of the house, I do use it. I wear the device around my neck.
One time, when one of my little great grandchildren was here, he pushed the button out of curiosity and the Philips Lifeline team came on a run. Their customer service doesn’t take very long. Two minutes would be the longest. I told them what happened and they talked to my great grandson and he thanked them. And that was all there was to it. He wanted to know why I had to wear it. I kept trying to explain that if he pushed that little button, that somebody would answer. I guess he felt he would try it. They were exceptionally nice and very friendly. The lady talked to him and she told him, “Now, don’t punch it again unless something happens.” He says, “Okay.” But it is good to know that he knew what to do because if something had happened, then he wouldn’t have known what to do. But after he punched the button and found out, he could have easily helped.

She got up by herself but I went over to help her and the blood was just gushing out. I got 911 right away and they came out and had trouble, too, because the roads were icy. It was an experience that I had seen and I didn’t like the looks of it and I thought, “No, I can’t go through anything like that. When you need help, you need help.” And so, I purchased Philips Lifeline. I got the one for the wrist, because I didn’t care for the one hanging around the neck.
Since I got the Philips Lifeline, I feel a lot more independent. Living on your own, you have to get that feeling. If you don’t, you’re kind of lost. I was fortunate in choosing it. It has helped me out several times. Just recently, I fell and couldn’t get up. I broke four ribs and so I had to go to the hospital. I used my Philips Lifeline button, and the medics were here in about 15 minutes. So that was good. After that, I had to go to rehab for a month.
I’m feeling much better now. I’m getting around okay. I have a walker and I use that off and on. I'm trying to do things on my own, but it still is taking time and I still have a little ache every once in a while but it’s not that much like it was. The Philips Lifeline is a blessing really. I try to encourage other people to get one, they say they will think about it. I’ve had it for many years now. I’m 85 and if I wrote down all the experiences I’ve had with it, it probably will be a small book.
The Philips Lifeline team always gets a hold of me once a month to make sure that I’m doing okay. It’s great. I feel very good about it.

I'm doing great with Philips Lifeline. I feel more secure that I've got it on. If I go down and I don't think of anything else, I can push the button. It's doing its job. I live in a complex of apartments and many of us wear one and it's been used quite a few times. I got it because I've got blood clots in my lungs and have a hard time breathing plus I got arthritis in my knees. And my granddaughter who is in the medical field said that it was necessary...

I got the Philips Lifeline because it helps me out a lot. I got the one they gave me a long time ago. Now I know I got something I could call in if I get real sick and I know that someone would be here if I fall on the floor. I once had a stroke and I'm getting sometimes good, sometimes not and my hands are numb, my legs are numb. I'm in a wheelchair. When that happens, the lifeline comes in handy.

I'm 87 years old and I'm living all alone and needed a medical device so I purchased Philips Lifeline. With it I'm completely independent. My phone went dead for one week and I could not get the phone company to tell them that my phone was dead but Philips did it. Whoever that operator was on, she called me to let me know that she called and told them about the phone. During this time that I had no phone, I knew that all I had to do was push my button and they would answer me. That gave me peace. I highly recommend it. They are terrific!

The people are really nice. It’s just that it didn’t go off like it’s supposed to. She fell three times but it hadn’t detected it. She decided to get on the swing one day. She fell out of that and it didn’t go off. She fell down flat in the backyard and it didn’t go off. We’re not satisfied with it at all. We really want to cancel it.
Thanks for reaching out to us and thanks for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. We are also sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with our AutoAlert button. While Lifeline with AutoAlert can detect many types of falls at a high rate of detection, it cannot detect all falls. We would like the opportunity to talk more about this with you. I've had several surgeries including knee surgeries and my doctor said I won't be staying alone unless I had a medical alert device. Now since I started using one, a Philips Lifeline, I feel independent. I wear it around my neck every day and so far I haven't had to use it. Thank God. But I check it out every month and it works and they have been real nice and courteous. The only thing is that it takes so long for somebody to come to the phone. You got to stand there waiting. Also the device is here in my living room. I live in a mobile home and I sleep in a bedroom in the back. I'm not sure whether it would work that far - if they could hear me.

It’s good to have and I do recommend it. I was concerned that I was falling a lot so I decided to have this medical alert device. There was one time when Philips Lifeline had to break in my house because I couldn't get to the door to let them in. Now my sons know that I wear it, and they’ve been less worried.

I'm worried. My son lives next door. He works all the time and they're thinking to go to Florida and they'll be gone a week. My daughter is thinking to go to Myrtle Beach and they'll be gone a week so having a Lifeline kind of lifts it because I know they both will be doing it the same time and there won't be anybody around here that I can really call on if I had to have some help except for Philips Lifeline -- I depend on them if I should really need them.
I can't walk good and have neuropathy in my feet and hands, but I've really never had to use it and I don't hope that I'd have to. But I've really liked it. I've had it for 5 years.

My late son who was an oceanographer was constantly getting things for me because he was all over the world doing underwater filming. He called 3 years ago and said, “You're going to get something, but you got to call Rob and tell him to install it.” I said “Mike, what is it?” He said, “You'll see when it comes.” The doorbell rang and here it was, the Philips Lifeline medical alert device. I said, “Mike, this is ridiculous. I don't need it.” He said, “Yes you do because you could trip and fall in the house and you could lie there and nobody would know it. I want you to have it.” And I have kept it and wear it all the time when I'm in the house. I wear it around my neck even when I take my shower.
Still, I’m very pleased with Philips Lifeline and have recommended it to a lot of my friends. In fact I've given them your number to call.

It’s nice to know that we have Philips Lifeline and I'm glad that we do. I don't care for the hours that they call to the monthly check. We have learned to take care of that on our own. The first time and the second time they called was in the wee hours of the evening like 3 o'clock in the morning, and I'm sure that it's a matter of different time zones. If you could change anything that would be one thing. We were in the middle of sleep and that made us jump and wake everybody up and think something was wrong. But we've corrected that. We just call on the first of the month and say we're doing our monthly check.

I got the Philips Lifeline because my sister knew that I fell a few times and if I hadn't opened my big mouth, they wouldn't know it. My sister and daughter wanted me to have it so that's why my sister arranged for me to have one. I'm 76 and it was just clumsiness on my part that I fell but I never know. I'm here alone in my apartment.
Having the Philips Lifeline gives me security that I do need. If I have to push the button, I know I can and that makes everybody happier knowing that I got it. I hope that's enough. What bothers me mostly is if it's during the night and we have a secure door as one would enter. There's one door and then there's another door that's secured with a key and of course I have mine behind my door. But one has to get in the other door to get into my door. I just want to know how Philips Lifeline will do that unless they call the fire department because they can't get in.

Thank the Lord, I haven’t needed them. But it makes me feel safer to know that I can get somebody in a hurry if I need to. They do a test call every month to make sure it was working and every time they do a test call it does work pretty well.

I haven't had any problems with the Philips Lifeline. I feel that something is watching me. I don't even remember why I got it. I've had it for so long - maybe because I was alone in the apartment and I'm not young anymore. I haven't called them lately but I used to have to call on a regular basis. I'm happy with it and it doesn't bother me. I also feel that if I need help I can get it. The only thing is that it only works in the apartment. If I'm on the streets and I have trouble I don't think it will work.

I saw this Philips Lifeline commercial about a lady who fell and can't get up. It made me realize that I could be in that spot so I got myself this medical alert device. So far, I've never had to use it. I just have it hanging by my bed. I do worry that if I fell, I might be taken to the hospital and that's not really what I would want. I would want to be picked up, but not carried off to the hospital. So there's probably times when I would not use it for that reason. I would probably get myself up. But it’s a good feeling to know that I have it.

For some reason, I don't know why or what happened, the volume to make the Philips Lifeline device louder or higher is not working at all. Whether I move it up or down, it stays the same level and I have trouble hearing as it is so I don't know if maybe we can get a new one sent out. We like the service. It's nice and convenient. I am blind and unsteady on my feet and my son ordered it for me. He made me get it because he works and when he's not home, he's calling me every five minutes to make sure that I didn't fall down. It gives him peace of mind.
I wear it around my neck. I just put it on and don't notice it half the time. With it, I have less anxiety because not being able to see, it’s a little nerve wracking knowing that I’m all by myself but I navigate the house pretty well. Again, it’s the peace of mind. If I trip or fall, it’s good to know that if the device is on the floor for so many seconds, it goes off automatically. It’s good to know if it’s submerging in the water, it goes off automatically. We do the monthly checks with the lanyard and it takes a long time to connect. It should be an immediate connect almost like when you're pressing a walkie-talkie. That's the only thing. I could be on the floor for two minutes and sometimes just hanging on and hanging on and I've brought that up with them before. When they answer, they’re great. My concern is just the time that it takes for them to answer. Other than that it’s perfect.

I happen to be living alone. I'm 80 years old and my kids insisted that I get the Philips Lifeline. One of my kids called and they came out and hooked it up. The girl that came out and installed it was a sweetheart. She came out and was so patient and so talkative, explaining what she was doing and why she was going out in the back door and all these good stuff. She was very good. I just put it on and leave it on. I don't even take it off. I wear it at night. I wear it in the shower. I wear it in the tub. You name it, I wear it.
My kids probably have fewer worries. I punch the button once a month and do a monthly check-in and it seems like it takes them forever to answer. Maybe it really isn't but it just seems like it and I'm thinking if I really needed help and I had to wait this long, I wouldn't be very happy. What I'm wondering about is though it's good within my area of my home, if I'm down on the street somewhere and I have a heart attack, I can't reach anybody, can't I? I've heard some advertisements that says no matter where you at, they can find you. I don't know what they're talking about but sounds like a good idea anyway. I would rate it so far excellent. I'm proud of it. I really do and I highly recommend it.

I wasn’t aware that I had a need for a medical alert device, but my daughter thought it was a good idea; she pays for it for me. She’s a traveling nurse and is gone quite a bit of the time and I’m here alone quite often. Basically, I’m healthy, but of late, I have had a little bit of an issue with my heart, and we’re attending to it. They’ve taken the medication away; I just have to record my blood pressure. Otherwise, I’m fine.
My daughter is currently assigned here in Maine, so she had my medical alert set up locally with Philips Lifeline. I feel more confident with it being here. Usually, around once a month, I have a very nice telephone conversation with somebody very pleasant asking if I need help. I haven’t had the need for any service so far. Ever since it’s been put in, it’s been fine. The only thing is we sometimes lose power. I guess, that would be a problem.
