December 22, I crash landed coming out of the shower. I had an instant response when I pushed my Life Alert pendant. Four paramedics were in my home within twenty minutes to take me to the hospital emergency room. My son was notified of my fall. Fortunately, I had no serious effects and came home within 12 hours.

I recently fell in my garage and I pressed my Life Alert button. He responded right away, and informed me that help was on the way. An ambulance showed up inside ten minutes. I didn’t need hospital attention, but I felt good knowing I had that care if I needed it.

I developed a sharp pain in my lower left side. I called for Life Alert. The dispatcher stayed on the line until the ambulance arrived. My neighbors stayed with me until EMTs got here. The EMTs checked me out and placed me in an ambulance. Problem diagnosed, CAT scan taken, and decided to go home with follow-up by my doctor.

On December 2015, I called for help since I had fallen and couldn’t walk again to answer the door. After, I called Life Alert people with great assurance back that EMTs would be here with help shortly. EMTs assessed my health and we went on to the hospital to be admitted six days. Personnel at Life Alert are very helpful every time I call them. I thank you and God bless Life Alert for helping us.

My town’s EMS crew are wonderful! I am an arthritic patient and have a collapsing spine. One morning, I awaken to more pain than usual; and I couldn’t walk. I called my daughter. She came and helped me to get dressed. I sleep upstairs (have a stair-lift) and we thought if I called EMS they could not get me downstairs due to narrow stairway. So I managed to get on the stair lift, ate breakfast, then called Life Alert. EMS came quickly (in meantime, doctor said to go to hospital emergency room) so two EMS men arrived and had me in my wheelchair to my daughter’s car and we then drove to the hospital.

An animal was in my house when I returned from a Christmas church event on December 20, 2015 around 8:40 p.m. I was startled when I turned on the light and saw something large running down my hallway. I had called 911 animal control and other agencies to no available. So I decided to call Life Alert as my last hope. Life Alert called some of the same agencies and were able to help me and get them to help me. I am 75 years old and have a lot of medical issues. I thank God for the young lady who called to make sure I was alright throughout this terrible time.

As they say, “I never thought it would happen to us.” My mother has Life Alert, and I’m so thankful that she does. On November 1, she fell in her kitchen while cooking. If it hadn’t been for Life Alert service, she would have been lying in her kitchen for hours with no way to get help. The Life Alert operator called me, our neighbor, and EMS. My mom was taken to the hospital, where it was found that she had a broken femur. At 87, she had surgery, rehab, and continuous to do well. But without Life Alert, the outcome could have been totally different. This is a great service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has aging parents!! Thank you again!

I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I live alone. Occasionally, I suffer from diabetic lows, usually in the middle of the night. Sometimes the low is so bad, I can’t help myself to get what I need to bring my glucose number back! When this happens, I hit my Life Alert pendant. Last time this happened, the EMTS were in my house helping me within twenty minutes. My Life Alert operator stayed on the line until the EMTs said I was okay and my glucose number was back up to 120 after treatment. I love my Life Alert system. It has never failed me and it has taken away the fear I have of diabetic lows.

My mother had a serious fall in November. Life Alert responded quickly. They dispatched paramedics and called family members to notify us. They kept in contact with the paramedics and called us back to tell us she was in route to the hospital. One other plus with Life Alert is that when we push the button on the pendant to check to see if it’s still working, the Life Alert operator always asks for mom’s password. This makes her feel safer because she would give the wrong password if an intruder was there with her. I have told many people about Life Alert and the benefits of it and not to get any other alert system.

Approximately mid-November, I fell while taking a shower, covered in soap and was on the floor wrapped partly in the shower curtain with my legs pinned between toilet and tub. I pressed my Life Alert. The fire department was here in four minutes and those guys were great. I only had bumps/bruises did not need to go to hospital. I am so glad I had Life Alert! I even had to yell, “Help, I’ve fallen and can’t get up!”

I rolled out of bed while asleep and landed between my bed and my scooter. I was caught there. There was no way I could move that would let me sit up, roll over, or get to the phone on the table in front of me. I pushed the button on my Life Alert device. The signal activated the Life Alert machine in the kitchen several rooms away. I could not respond to the signal to say what the problem was. Life Alert notified my sister and the 911 system. My sister’s daughter in-law arrived first, got into the house and let responders enter. They got me up, evaluated the situation and transported me to the hospital thirty-five minutes away. They treated my dislocated shoulder. Thank you, Life Alert, your service shortened my wait for help from half a day to less than thirty-minutes!

I woke up around 4 or 4:15 a.m. with severe chest pain, it wouldn’t go away. So, I got out of bed to unlock door because I knew my son was not home to unlock door. As I did that, I hit the red Life Alert button on my neck. It rang twice to Life Alert. The person came on and I told him my problem. He said, “Stay with me. I am calling medical and person of contact.” Life Alert was very fast! I had a massive heart attack and went out on hospital attention. They paddled me twice in the hospital. Life Alert stayed with me until EMTs took me to the ambulance. If I didn’t have Life Alert, my children would have found me dead in my chair. Thank you.

My husband’s O2 Sat was at 74% and he was having a hard time breathing. Life Alert already notified the EMS. I thought they had left but the lady asked to talk to the EMS and she gave all his diagnosis. I had already gave the medication list, but she was ready to give that to them. She left as soon as EMS got all the information. My husband was in the hospital for six days and received four units of blood. Thanks for all your help. I was nervous as it was. Thanks again.

Monday, November 9th 10:30 p.m., I fell—couldn’t get up. Tuesday, November 10th 12:06 a.m., I pressed Life Alert! Two male nurses arrived. After checking me, found nothing. Suggested going to the hospital for further check-up. I said, “No, I wasn’t hurting.” Life Alert called relatives and they came. I had excellent care from the nurses. I am doing fine!

While pushing my empty rubbish can from the lawn to the cement walkway, I kept on going with the momentum and fell on the walkway, breaking my wrist, leg, and toe, and fracturing my pelvis. With the help of my neighbor, I was able to get up and call for Life Alert. Life Alert staff stayed on the line until the ambulance arrived. I was taken to the emergency room. Thank you!

My last stroke, Life Alert was very quick and got me help. Life Alert got a hold of my family and told them what was going on and what hospital I would be at. I live by myself. But with my Life Alert, I don’t feel like I am alone. Life Alert is always there for me, day or night. Thank you.

Life Alert responders were very professional. My house was just like I left it when I got back both times. Thank you for saving my life twice! 1) I slipped getting out of the shower, fell backwards and hit my head on the toilet seat. I cut my arm on the metal frame of the door, passed out, blood on the floors and carpet, etc. I had required thirteen stitches on the back of my head. I crawled to the garage, called Life Alert and saved my life. 2) I was talking on the phone, heard a thump (me falling), passed out, hours later came to enough to press my Life Alert button. Again, Life Alert saved my life -- I had a heart attack.

I was in my shower, I didn’t fall but I thought I was slipping so I carefully let myself down on the shower floor. I have no strength in my legs so I pushed the Life Alert button. I had help within a very short time. Now I am naked, so I asked the Life Alert man who answered my call if there would be women. There was and she saw to it that I was completely presentable before the firemen came and lifted me to my feet. No injuries except for a couple of bruises. They were very kind and understanding. Thank you for the good service.

My 79 year old mom lived with us. We had Life Alert because we both work, and was afraid she would fall or need emergency help while we were gone. Actually, she woke up at 2:30 a.m. having severe head pains. I hit the Life Alert call button. It was such a blessing. Life Alert notified everyone in the family and stayed on the phone until the ambulance arrived. Life Alert supplied all of her medical conditions to the paramedics. I was extremely pleased!! Always very polite on the phone as well. Love Life Alert!!

I was coming home and I have four steps to come down. (I use two canes to come down these steps.) I made it down three of the stairs but I don’t know why or how, but on the last step, I lost my balance. I couldn’t get up so I punched my Life Alert call button. (This outside of my apartment.) It was very soon the firemen came and got me up and walked me to my apartment and stayed with me until I got in my chair.

I was in my bedroom where I heard the noise from Life Alert. I answered that I was okay and thought my sister’s cat had accidentally caused the alert. I chuckled and found my sister on her bedroom floor, unable to get up, incoherent, and disoriented. I asked Life Alert to call paramedics. They arrived very quickly. The Life Alert kept in-touch with me until my sister was taken away in the ambulance. Life Alert’s representative also talked to the paramedics and gave them information from the records. Our attendant’s next door neighbor and my niece were also alerted by Life Alert representative. I was very impressed by Life Alert’s representative—he was very calm and very helpful.

My 97 year old grandmother was experiencing shortness of breath. She had made it upstairs and was alone and did not feel well. Luckily, she remembered to click the Life Alert button. Her phone was not working upstairs so Life Alert contacted 911 and then called me to follow-up. It was all a very smooth process. She is doing fine.

My husband fell off his chair. He was not injured but I could not pick him up. I pressed the Life Alert button around his neck and before I could turn around, someone came on the machine. After describing what happened, Life Alert already had a policeman on the way. He made sure there was no bleeding—no heart problems. Everything was handled quickly, professionally and courteously.

This last time, I just fell and couldn’t get myself up. I pressed my Life Alert button and help came in five minutes. As usual, the help was thoughtful, kind and made me feel that Life Alert is always there for me. I have used my Life Alert button many times and my life has been saved on more than one occasion.

On December 14, 2015, I stumbled and fell on my knees. In falling, I cut my left arm and was bleeding. So, I called Life Alert and within fifteen minutes, there were four paramedics at my house and they were very helpful and took me to the hospital in an ambulance.

I have history of COPD and collapsed right lung in 2010 and again in 2012. By 2015, I had regained most of my activities. Then the morning of November 24, 2015, I suddenly could not breathe in or out, nor speak. I pushed my Life Alert and it was answered immediately. I struggled to speak and made a frantic sound. The Life Alert staff took over, telling me he called EMS and my family. He talked to me until EMS took me out. It was comforting. He also called my daughter twice after I arrived in the hospital to see how I was.

My mother had to use the Life Alert twice recently and the last time, Life Alert saved her life. In the middle of the night, she couldn’t breathe and the only contact she could do was Life Alert. They contacted paramedics who responded in time. After making sure she had help, Life Alert contacted me. The Life Alert lady was outstanding as she explained what was going on. On my way over to get there, Life Alert called to update. Just outstanding service and compassion.

Life Alert fire alarm went off at 3:00 a.m. I was in a wheelchair and couldn’t check the house. So, Life Alert called fire department, who came very quickly. Also, my son came when Life Alert staff called him. Fire department could not identify any fire but did identify carbon monoxide. I, the dogs, the wheelchair, and three dog cages all went to my son’s house until everything was fixed. Because of the fire alarm - Life Alert saved my life and the lives of my three dogs.

On December 13, 2015, I went out to a birthday dinner for my son in-law. My daughter picked me up and brought me home. I stopped on the way to the bathroom to hang up my coat. I reached in to the closet to hang it up and missed the rod. I suddenly “saw stars” (first time). My coat and hanger went to the right, my walker went forward and I fell backwards! I could not get up and medics were called by the Life Alert pendant. I have severe muscular degeneration and that doesn’t help. Thank you!

I had fallen in the bathroom and passed out afterwards. I had pressed my Life Alert button and talked to the representative who was very helpful, calm and sympathetic. After the ambulance came and I went to the hospital, Life Alert contacted my relatives. This is the second time I’ve had to use Life Alert and am very satisfied.

I fell and could not get up many times before getting the Life Alert monitor and was on the floor six hours yelling “Help” as loud as possible. After receiving the Life Alert monitor, I got help from Life Alert right away and was thoroughly checked out. Life Alert is wonderful. Thanks so much for your concern and help. My mother had an episode in which she was very disoriented and confused in the middle of the night. She could not reason well and felt she was in danger. She called Life Alert using the pendant, I arrived and Life Alert was on the phone and stayed there until the rescue squad arrived and verified information with them.

I experienced shortness of breath. I called Life Alert, who had AMR help at my home within five minutes. Life Alert are always courteous. EMTs transported me to local ER. Diagnosed with pneumonia. I am recovered and well now. Life Alert contacts my children immediately.

I was alone and fell several feet from anything to help me get up and about 6ft. from the base unit. The Life Alert person who answered my call stayed on the line and checked on me every few minutes until EMS arrived as the nearest responders are about twenty minutes away. EMTs were efficient and helpful on arrival.

I had a rug cleaner. Had windows and door open, and furnace working to dry the rugs. I was sitting in kitchen reading when my Life Alert said, “Carbon monoxide—leave the house immediately.” We all left and they came on again and said, “Fire truck, ambulance and many others are on the way.” EMTs checked me and began oxygen and breathe exhaling for about an hour. The furnace had two exhaust breaks. Got it fixed. Thanks to Life Alert, I am alive and okay.

EMTs helped me up when I fell on the floor a few times at night. Also, it was a big help when my husband was so sick. EMTs came and helped him up when he fell at night. I would tell anyone to get Life Alert. It is a great service.

November 23, 2015 at 11 p.m., there was a loud banging on my door, which I ignored because at that hour of the night, I was expecting “no one.” The banging continued in desperation for a while. Then transferred to the neighbor next door. Then to the apartments each one upstairs, at which time I called Life Alert who answered promptly asking, “What was my emergency.” I explained. They instructed me to stay away from the door and that they will dispatch a courtesy officer to the emergency to access the situation. They did. Then there was calm. Thank you guys.

My mother was having difficulty breathing and couldn’t reach the phone to call me. She pressed Life Alert and very quickly they sent an emergency team and alerted me to go to her home. EMTs took her to the hospital.

On November 26, 2015 I fell in my home and could not get up. I had my Life Alert on and pressed the button. In a short time. There was a person knocking on the door. I yelled to them where the key was in the security lock. The Life Alert was so helpful and courteous. I have been a member of Life Alert for 20 years and never had to call before. I am 92 years old and broke my hip and will take three months to heal. Thanks to Life Alert, you were so helpful.

My husband was asleep and did not have his hearing aids on. I called and called him, but he couldn’t hear me. I saw my Life Alert on the table beside my bed and pushed the button. He heard Life Alert talking, came to me, and called the ambulance. I had a congestive heart failure.

My hands were shaking and my vision was blurred. I knew my glucose was too low, so I called Life Alert. Response time was about fifteen minutes. Responders took glucose test and was about 50. I received injection to raise glucose level and fed peanut butter sandwich to keep glucose test results in normal level.

My sister is disabled and fell in her apartment. She pulled her Life Alert, who notified me. It was wonderful that the first thing Life Alert said to me was, “Your sister is fine.” By the time I got there (maybe twenty minutes), the paramedics were already there and gone and I found my sister sitting in her chair watching T.V. I ended up taking her breakfast. Apparently, Life Alert tried calling my sister, who didn’t answer, of course, so I was called to make sure I had gotten there and my sister was okay. I was very impressed and the Life Alert operator that day was very, very nice! I was so glad I got the opportunity to see how Life Alert works--will recommend to everyone!

I felt dizzy and almost lost my balance and was short of breath, so I pushed my Life Alert button right away. Someone from Life Alert answered. Life Alert called my daughter to let her know where I was going (hospital). Life Alert people called the ambulance.

My aunt fell and she was upstairs--one level above the Life Alert unit, and she did not have her pendant with her. She scooched across the floor to her bedroom where she had left the Life Alert pendant, and the Life Alert operator was able to hear her and stayed with her until long after I and the ambulance arrived.

I made a fall on a tile floor in my bathroom and landed on my head, it started bleeding and I was helpless. I wear my Life Alert necklace day and night, so I called them and they were there in just a few minutes. EMTs lifted me up and stopped the bleeding with a pitcher. Life Alert were so courteous and sweet. I want to bake them some cookies!

I’ve had my Life Alert for around 16 years. I am now 86 years old and I can’t seem to write or print. My care taker had just given me a shoulder and I got dressed. She said I said I didn’t feel good but I wasn’t getting any better. So I managed to call my daughter and she told me to push my Life Alert. I did--and they were there in no time. EMTs took me to the hospital. I was there five days. I am very satisfied.

Carbon monoxide was detected in the house and the Life Alert carbon monoxide went off. A message was sent to Life Alert. They contacted us to leave the house and contacted the fire department. The fire department and ambulance arrived quickly and resolved the situation. Life Alert saved our lives.

I fell in the living room cutting my head open. I hit my Life Alert button, someone came on almost immediately asking me questions and assuring that I needed an emergency call to be placed. Life Alert stayed on the line until emergency came and called my contacts to let them know what was going on. Very fast response.

The carbon monoxide detector went off very loudly. Then Life Alert came on and told me to get out of the house immediately. Life Alert called fire department. My neighbor and grandson opened the windows and talked to the firemen. Then called a furnace repair man. He cleaned out the carbon build-up and got the furnace working again. No ill effects.

I fell and was not able to get up since I had a total knee-shoulder and hip replaced. I was afraid I’d displace those three prosthetics. Life Alert called for help for me and all was resolved when EMTs arrived. Thank you for your help!

I awoke one night, my throat swollen. I called Life Alert and got to the doctor’s hospital. He said that if I had not gotten there at the time I did, I couldn’t breathe anymore. The second occasion, by the time I called and got to the hospital, I had pneumonia. I had heart failure, I couldn’t have made it much longer.

My father fell many times and Life Alert was always there for him. Thank you. We got Life Alert for my dad because he lived alone and it was peace of mind for us because his health was going downhill and we couldn’t always be there with him all the time. When he went into kidney failure, we called Life Alert and they sent an ambulance out to transport him to the hospital.

I was stepping out of my backdoor when I tripped on the door sill. I fell so fast (I was carrying my walker), I couldn’t break my fall. I landed on my right sided (the side of my knee replacement). I had forgotten my phone on the kitchen table. I had to press the Life Alert button because I couldn’t get up. EMTs were here within five minutes.

My mom fell in the kitchen and her cell phone was in her pocket but out of battery. Thankfully, she could use her Life Alert necklace and call for help. We felt that her ability to stay in her own home would not be possible if it weren’t for her Life Alert. Life Alert provides peace of mind for all of us!

I had returned to my apartment after being out for Christmas Eve. I was having trouble breathing and couldn’t go to sleep. At 2 in the morning, my oxygen (concentrator) wasn’t feeling as it should. I called for Life Alert, EMTs took me to the emergency and then admitted me to the hospital.

On November 22, 2015, I fell in the living room/kitchen and was unable to get up. Life Alert responded quickly and EMTs took me to the emergency room. On November 23, 2015, I slid off my bed onto the floor. I couldn’t help myself up. I called Life Alert for help -- EMTs took me to the emergency room again.

On November 26, 2015, I had a horrible migraine. I called Life Alert -- EMTs took me to the hospital. They kept me over night and they ran spinal tap. Thought I had bleeding on the brain. Thanks to prayers, and the good Lord, I didn’t and got to go home Thanksgiving Day. Life Alert was great. I appreciate what they do for me.

I was at the end of my daily walk when I tripped on an uneven sidewalk in front of my condo. Having knee problems, I tried to get up and my foot slipped on wet grass and I fell on my face on the sidewalk. Luck was with me as I don’t go anywhere without my Life Alert GPS. Life Alert GPS fell out of my pocked so I pushed the button and explained to the kind gentleman what happened. He stayed on the GPS until the paramedics came to my assistance.

My mother was having trouble breathing. The Life Alert associate contacted emergency services and stayed on the line with her. Meanwhile, the family was being contacted. We were very pleased with all of the immediate responses. Life Alert staff also kept the family posted while she was in transit. Thank you so much.

I fell out the front door and sprained my ankle, knee, shoulder, hip, and later the thigh and leg began to hurt. I was told all of this after being checked at the emergency room on December 2, 2015. I was told also to stay off the foot and keep it elevated. I pushed the Life Alert button on my neck pendant and you all answered and stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. Thanks so much.

My husband got out of bed and fell and broke a hip. Life Alert was on the line before I was half way from the other end of our trailer. Life Alert had 911 called and medical was on its way while I was still trying to cope with the fall. Life Alert called our daughter right away to let her know what had happened, then again to say that we had gotten him to the hospital.

I awoke in the night and could hardly breathe. I immediately pushed the Life Alert button that I wear on my arm. And in less than five minutes, my daughter who lives next door was there and shortly after, an ambulance. I was taken to the emergency room and given shots on the way. Thanks to my Life Alert button, I am enjoying life once again!

Back in August 2014, my mother fell in her living room around 9 p.m. She pushed her Life Alert button (and as she said, “I talked to the monitor in the box.”) Her hip was broken. Life Alert saved mom’s life. She was experiencing severe pain and I fear if she did not have Life Alert, so that she could receive emergency care, she would have died. The best purchase we’ve made for my mom was Life Alert.

Life Alert responded immediately when I pushed the Life Alert button. They connected with the fire department and stayed on the line with me and the firemen until they were able to rescue me from the floor where I had fallen. I am most grateful for Life Alert’s calm and reassuring help.

Incident was on p.m. of December 27, 2015. I found myself losing the ability to breathe. I pressed the Life Alert alarm button on my wrist band. There was an immediate response on my speaker from the Life Alert attendant asking me if I was okay or needed help. I reported my condition and the attendant assured me that help was on the way. He stayed on the line until EMTs arrived.

I had been in bed and got up at 6:30 a.m. I could smell carbon monoxide. So I opened all the windows and doors. I sat inside the kitchen door, Life Alert called and said to get out of the house. I told her it was cold and windy, but I was getting fresh air. Firemen came from town. Life Alert called them and firemen checked the stove and found a hole in the back that was leaking the carbon monoxide in home. My machine works and I would be dead now without it. I praise God for letting me wake up. I have a new drum in the stove and it is doing well.

My aunt was going down her stairs into her garage. She fell to the garage floor. She laid there for a while then she remembered to push her Life Alert button. Since her answering machine is down in her den, she couldn’t hear Life Alert staff or answer back. So, Life Alert called her neighbor and the fire department. Help arrived quickly. Thank you for helping her!

I have Life Alert for almost 2 years. I am 91 years old and live alone. I had two instances I had fallen and could not get up. I have knee replacements and a hip replaced. I got myself to sit. I called Life Alert and within fifteen minutes the rescue people came. All my children had been contacted. EMTs helped me up and checked me out. Both times I had lost my balance. I had fallen and couldn’t get up. Life Alert has come to my aid 4-5 times this past year and a half. I have a balance problem that cannot be cured, so I plan to have Life Alert until my “last day.” It is critical I have my Life Alert necklace since my husband has many errands to do. My father passed away May 2014. After he passed away, I encouraged mom to get Life Alert. Mom fell November 30, 2015 and pressed her Life Alert button. I can honestly say Life Alert saved my mother’s life! After notifying me, Life Alert stayed on the phone with mom until after the rescue squad arrived. I was having problems breathing and would hear gurgling sounds from my chest. My daughter called Life Alert and an operator called 911 for us. She stayed on the line until the paramedics arrived and talked to one of them to make sure I was being helped. I was hospitalized with pneumonia. My daughter and I are very thankful for Life Alert’s help. It’s comforting to know that Life Alert is a “button” away.

I began feeling light-headed and shaky, and had trouble finding words. I pressed my Life Alert pendant button. Instant response and summons for an ambulance. Asked if I wanted anyone called -- called daughter. Life Alert stayed on phone with me until ambulance came, conversed with EMS, and ended call with my consent. Life Alert dispatcher was pleasant and professional, had a very calming manner. All I could ask for!

Another time when we had an emergency we called 911 and it took forever for them to get their information and send help. This time we pressed Life Alert button and we were able to keep caring for my mother while Life Alert got help on the way. Thank you.

I had to go from the bathroom to the living room and on the way I got very dizzy and just made it to a chair. Had my Life Alert system on and called. Life Alert operator made all the necessary calls to 911 and told me not to get up. Within a few minutes, the emergency crew were here. White waiting for them, the Life Alert operator kept talking to me. So happy that I had Life Alert. I am 88 years old!

My mother has fallen several times during late night hours. By having Life Alert, they responded on time with Life Alert assistance. All contacts were notified very quickly. We thank Life Alert for its great services.

My age (86) and condition after a small stroke caused me to fall out of my bed while trying to reach for something on the bedside lamp table (urinal). It was impossible for me to get up or reach the lamp so I pressed the Life Alert red button, reluctantly, and in a little while my room was full of firemen who picked me up and took me to the hospital.

I was standing in the kitchen facing the end of the table. I moved right facing the living room. I must have gone out because I remember nothing until my right elbow landed on a stove burner that had been off for 15-20 minutes. I lifted the elbow and fell to the floor. Later after seeing the huge bruise on the armpit, I realized I had fallen against the counter top. My arm slid down the counter about three feet and stayed on the burner. I managed to get up and pushed the Life Alert button. The ambulance came within a half hour. I had a two-degree burn which is now healed. All the help went well.

Both my shoulders are dislocated, reaching out is limited. I tried to close the refrigerator door, but I was too close. I bent a little backward and lost my balance. Afraid I would pull the refrigerator on top of me, I turned and fell down. I have both knees replaced and I am walking with a walker. Getting up is not possible. So I pressed my Life Alert button to get help. If I wouldn’t have Life Alert, I would have been sitting there on the floor for five hours until my neighbors came to fix my dinner. The medics came in no time, picked me off the floor, and checked me out. A little bruised, but was okay. Thank you, Life Alert.

Morning of December 12th, I fell in my bedroom. Three firemen were there within ten minutes, helped me up to a sitting position, bandaged my wounds, took BP and ID, helped me to my walker, and made sure I was OK. December 15th, I fell backwards into my house trying to get garbage out - lying on my back, I called Life Alert. EMTs got me up, put out my garbage and brought in my walker. Made sure I was OK before leaving.

Life Alert made it possible for my mother to stay in her home longer. Having Life Alert made it easier on me (the caregiver) as I knew once she “pushed the Life Alert button,” the staff at Life Alert would handle everything. Paramedics were dispatched and mother was transported to the hospital each time there was a need. Life Alert also notified everyone on the call list that paramedics had been dispatched and called again to notify she was being transported. The Life Alert staff were very efficient! It was well worth every penny spent and I would highly recommend Life Alert to anyone with an elderly parent or relative living in their home.

I was in the downstairs den watching TV, when I heard a noise and looked up to see ceiling tiles falling down. There was a thud and a raccoon leaped at me biting into my arm. I threw it off and rushed from the room (closing the door), screaming, and ran upstairs and pushed Life Alert. Within a few minutes, police were at my front door that Life Alert had told me to open. Life Alert helped since all I had to tell them was what had happened.

My mother was experiencing confusion and inability to communicate efficiently. She was experiencing extremely high fever due to MRSA and was experiencing sepsis reaction to staph infection. Life Alert helped get help to us quickly and stayed on the line until EMS and police arrived on scene.

Thank God for Life Alert! Life Alert staff cannot put a price tag on the peace of mind I have knowing my mother has this. My mother’s heart rate went very high requiring activation of Life Alert and EMS. Thankfully she called me just prior to activating Life Alert so I knew help was on the way. Life Alert stayed on the phone with her until EMS left with her.

Life Alert representative stayed on the line with me until the ambulance arrived. Just before six in the morning, I awoke and had difficulty breathing. Instead of calling 911, I chose to use Life Alert because they had all of my information, including how to get in my house. That was good because after I told the Life Alert representative that the ambulance was there, the next morning I knew that I was in the emergency room with my son talking to me. The emergency room is over seven miles from my house.

Just days after installing Life Alert for my mom, it literally saved her life. During a devastating congestive heart failure episode, she found herself unable to breathe. She made the pivotal decision to push her Life Alert pendant for help. Paramedics arrived within three minutes and were able to revive her with CPR. While on route, they were already privy to her medical history and medications. We were kept informed even while in the emergency room. We can’t begin to express our heartfelt thanks. Every day is a gift.

I live with my son and his wife. They were on a vacation and was alone in the house. There is a ramp from the house into the garage and I was walking from the garage into the house. Somehow I lost my right hip and shoulder. I was not wearing the Life Alert necklace but had the Life Alert GPS in my purse so I called Life Alert. The wonderful woman on the line talked to me until EMS arrived.

I put a pot of soup on the stove, changed my menu and forgot it while I had my dinner. The next thing I knew the smoke alarm went off, my Life Alert was activated and the voice on the other end said for me to get outside, which I did. Meanwhile, my home was filling with smoke. Life Alert called the fire department and they were here in minutes. I had called my daughter and son in-law and they came immediately. Life Alert system worked just like it was supposed to.

I had acid reflux and a fast heartbeat. I pushed the Life Alert button and medics came and found I was low on blood. Paramedics pushed me to the hospital and was given two units of blood right away. After tests, I was given two more units of blood. I found I had a bleeding ulcer in chest. I am thankful for the Life Alert services. Great help! At the hospital I was told if I had waited a few more hours, I would not be here.

Grandma fell in the yard. She pushed her Life Alert button and the ambulance came right away. Life Alert contacted us and we were able to meet her at the hospital. It was a wonderful blessing and relief to know that the Life Alert product worked exactly as promised.

For some reason, my husband was stuck in one position and would not bear weight on his left leg. That hip had been operated on years before, EMS took him took him to the hospital where he was thoroughly examined. Everything was found normal. It’s still a mystery. Life Alert took care of it all; answered all questions before we had a chance to ask them. My son watched with a critical eye and was pleased that Life Alert did everything they said they would. My mom, a Life Alert client, was in severe pain from a bulging disc after several days. I called Life Alert to have her taken to emergency hospital. Life Alert was very attentive and helpful with the transfer. It was a wonderful service which endured us some peace of mind during the times she was alone, trusting help was a push of a button away.

My mother could not move from the waist down (pain). She pressed the Life Alert button for ambulance and assistance to the hospital. That night she slipped out of bed and again called for assistance to lift her. Everything worked out fine and was quick. Thank you.

My aunt fell and suffered a broken hip. She was able to reach her push button Life Alert which she left hanging on her pocket! Life Alert responded so quickly that when I got there, I passed the ambulance taking her to the hospital. I only live two miles from her home. Wonderful service—she turned 101 on November 8, 2015 and is doing well in a local nursing home. Great service and quick response!

I am fine, I was in the bathroom but could not get up. I got to the floor and still could not get up. I was not near the phone so I had to call Life Alert. I was not hurt but EMTs took me to the hospital because my blood pressure was high. Thank you very much.

My uncle had fallen out of the bed and was not able to get up. I was contacted about the emergency and the Life Alert operator remained on the line until I arrived to his uncle house which was about twenty minutes. My uncle was asked if he wanted 911 to come and he indicated “no.” The Life Alert operator remained until I informed her that he was up and okay.

The Life Alert was very quick and pleasant. Life Alert called my son and then my husband, along with the EMT with all the information that was on file and how to get in the house. Life Alert stayed on the phone line until everything was okay and called back after to see if everything turned okay.

My father leaned over too far and couldn’t get up, pushed his Life Alert button. Response was quick and responsive to emergency people. Life Alert called me and my sister. By the time I came up to see him, he was up and EMTs were gone. Thank you.

November 16, 2015, my mother fell in the bedroom of her apartment. I was home at the time. She broke her femur bone right leg. The Life Alert lady was wonderful and insisted on staying connected with me until help arrived. My mother was screaming out in pain. I was very grateful for Life Alert.

Our mother fell and she couldn’t get up so she pressed her Life Alert button. They called EMS and someone stayed on the phone with her until EMS and some of us arrived. Life Alert called all of her children. We appreciate Life Alert so much. We feel so much better knowing Life Alert is here at one push of a button! Thanks so much for helping us to feel safe!

My dad fell while home alone and could not get up. Thankfully, I got home about fifteen or twenty minutes after he fell. I couldn’t get him up. So we pressed the Life Alert and within ten minutes, the paramedics and firemen were here to help. Thanks, Life Alert!

Being handicapped, help is needed to get me into the shower. I leaned over too fast to test the temperature of the water. The shower bar gave way and I fell into the shower. Hit my head, bruised legs. Life Alert came to my rescue and EMTs did a great job getting me up.

I can’t say enough about Life Alert. From the time I pressed my Life Alert button until the fire department came, Life Alert was on the line with me. I was trying to take my blood but I was just shaking so bad. I couldn’t take my blood. Life Alert told me to go and unlock my front door, and then sit down. The whole time Life Alert stayed on line talking to me and asking me how I feel and if I had stop shaking enough to take my blood. However, I didn’t stop shaking until after the paramedics left, but my sugar was 100. So, I didn’t go to the hospital because I feel that I was OK. Thank you, Life Alert.

I got too close to the end of the bed. When I realized it, I tried to get up but fell to the floor. Had to walk on my bottom across the room to punch Life Alert button. Paramedics came right away. I did not have to go to the hospital.

I fell in my bathroom and was unable to get up. I rang for Life Alert and, as before, they answered immediately, took my message, needs, changes, etc. They worked patiently with me. Life Alert service is wonderful and a great reassurance to my family that I can quickly get assistance.

I had fallen in my bedroom and was unable to get up. When I finally decided to push the Life Alert button on my necklace, it was approximately fifteen minutes before the paramedics responded arrived. The lady at Life Alert assured me she would stay with me until the paramedics got there. They were very comforting. I am 89 years old and I have had Life Alert since turning 80 years old.

My husband happened to be very weak this day. He couldn’t quite maneuver the recliner and fell from his walker beside the chair. He alerted Life Alert. An ambulance was dispatched. I was getting out of the gym when I got the phone call to go home--my husband had fallen. When I got there--EMTs had my husband sitting comfortably in his chair and were getting ready to leave.

She has had numerous falls when she needed help, and every time Life Alert has responded alerting me of the fall. The last fall required paramedics which were alerted by Life Alert. The dispatcher stayed on the line for my support and to inform paramedics of all mom’s health and medication information. Thank you so much and god bless. Mother’s new Life Alert was triggered accidentally and they confirmed her safety. Life Alert called me at home to insure she was with someone I knew and she was not in harm’s way. That really impressed me and has given us a great sense of security with our life saving Life Alert system.

I have had Life Alert for about six weeks and in that time I have summoned them three times. The third time I went to the hospital but let me tell you, Life Alert stayed on the intercom making sure I was coherent and letting me know every two minutes where the ambulance was and trying to calm me down. Every person who has a handicap or a disability should have the Life Alert system. It takes the place of someone actually being there to help.

On the 29th or 30th of October, I was cleaning my bathroom toilet and had a pair of scissors in my right hand and trying to remove some tape from the lid and cut my left hand. I’m on Warfarin and it wouldn’t stop bleeding so I called Life Alert. EMTs were here very soon - took me to the hospital - one stitch.

I fell asleep in my recliner and when I woke up, I tried to get up and misjudged and fell against the desk and hit my head. I tried to get up but couldn’t. I was able to push the Life Alert button on the necklace for Life Alert and they contacted 911, my daughter, and my son. If it wasn’t for Life Alert, I would have probably been on the floor for a long time and bleed a longer time, I am on blood thinners. Thanks, Life Alert!

My 87 year old father was very weak from his illness and fell down in his living room. He was too weak to get up and pushed the button on his Life Alert pendant. He said within two seconds his call was answered. The ambulance was called and told how to gain entrance. His neighbor was also called and met the EMTs at the door. He would have laid on the floor for hours if not for Life Alert. Thank you everyone at Life Alert!!

I fell out in my yard away from contact with my Life Alert answering machine. Help came within minutes to get me on my feet again. I could not get up with the help that came from the local EMS staff and then the sheriff came also. They all wanted me to go to our local hospital, but I knew I didn’t need to. But Life Alert is all it says it is. I am very appreciative.

I had fallen in my kitchen. Life Alert called paramedics. They arrived very quickly. Life Alert stayed on the line and kept me informed of EMT’s arrival. I was picked up at the corner market. I went to get juice and I was sure I could not return home. Chest pain and shortness of breath. Life Alert was there right away. The next time I called for bad pain in both legs, EMTs came right away.

My security alarm went off in the middle of the night, scaring me. Also lost my telephone temporarily. I hit my Life Alert button and a very nice gentleman called the police and stayed on the phone with me until they came. The police checked my property. All was well. I would not be without Life Alert.

On Saturday, 11/7/15, my oven in the stove caught on fire when the oven’s self-cleaning button was activated. Flames appeared in the oven; door could not be opened and smoke began escaping; activated my Life Alert system! Fire trucks arrives in less than ten minutes. Fire station is 1 1/2 blocks from my home.

I awoke from a sound sleep with a headache and unable to move my left arm which felt like concrete. I pushed my Life Alert alarm button but was unable to speak back. I managed to say “having stroke.” Within a short time, the EMTs arrived along with my children. The person on the Life Alert stayed on the line keeping me calm until help arrived.

I was getting on my bed. My shoe got caught on my pants and I slid to the floor. I was not hurt but couldn't get upright. I used to be able to. No one was available to help so I contacted Life Alert. They stayed with me (the Life Alert operator) until the fire department came and picked me up.

I called Life Alert to get information for service for my dad. The customer service rep, Nicolette, started her sales pitch and the minute she said he'd have to sign a 36 month contract, I told her my dad would not agree to that. Yet, she kept on talking, trying to convince me how great the service was. Again, I told her she was wasting her time, he would not sign a contract. I guess that offended her! She says "You're very rude ma'am, please don't call us again." Why would I want to call Life Alert again when they don't have the service I want? What a bizarre representative!

My father, who is 93 years old, fell because his blood pressure went sky high. He pressed the Life Alert pendant button on his Life Alert necklace and within minutes I was contacted by phone. Before I could get to his house, the EMS was pulling in. Very fast response on all parties’ part. Thank you very much!!

I fell down in my home on Oct 26, 2015 and broke my hip. I would have been on the floor all day. Life Alert was excellent. They had help here right away and also called my son. I liked that Life Alert stayed on the line with me until help arrived.

I was very dizzy. I could not walk a straight line. After some hours, I decided I had better call Life Alert. The people came so quickly and all the time the voice on the machine was talking to me, checking on how I felt, so I never felt alone. Life Alert were all so polite and spent a lot of time checking me out, and then into emergency room. I would not be afraid to call Life Alert again. Thank you. This was my first time.

While my mother was away from her home, she had left a pot on the stove and it set off the smoke alarm. Therefore, Life Alert responded quickly on notifying family members. It really helped reassure the family that Life Alert is - without a doubt - a life saver and all of Life Alert operators were very nice and caring.

I fell nearly hitting my head on the kitchen table corner. I tried getting up. I could only partially get up. I pressed my Life Alert button. The operator asked what my emergency was. After my story, he notified EMS and stayed in contact with me until their arrival. Life Alert personnel talked to EMS about any assistant he could be. When assured I was okay, he ended the call. They checked me out. I was fine.

On October 29th, 2015, I came home from work at 5:25 p.m. to find my 89 year old husband lying in our den where he had fallen on the concrete floor and broken his right arm in three different places from his shoulder to his elbow. I hit the Life Alert button and within one minute someone was helping me get an ambulance to our home. The Life Alert person who help me that day I would so like to thank him. May God bless the people at Life Alert.

Life Alert gave immediate response to activating of the button. I was having chest pain and they told me to chew two aspirin and help would be alerted. The EMTs were here in about five minutes and were very attentive—giving me attention and then transporting me to the hospital. Fortunately, my trouble was reflex and I was not hurt. I was very pleased with Life Alert and will call again if needed.

I fell on the kitchen floor, suffering a fractured shoulder and hip. Being alone and unable to move - Life Alert saved me. Ambulance arrived within less than an hour, when I did not respond to Life Alert’s call. I just returned from rehabilitation (two months) - I fell on September 23, 2015. Life Alert was the absolute best invested I have ever made.

I fell in my bedroom—bad fall; punched the Life Alert button—immediate response offering to call 911. Asked that they first call my sister two doors down—thought she and her husband could get me up. They couldn’t, so Life Alert operator called 911 and stayed in contact until they arrived. Grateful to have had Life Alert.

I slipped in shower and my husband could not get me up. I have ALS. So Life Alert was called and fire department was here within minutes. Also, Life Alert alerted my family which was very helpful. I would recommend Life Alert to everyone.

I fell backward and landed on two sofa pillows, so no injuries. Just very shaky. The most difficult part was I was not able to get up. My mother became stuck between her dresser and her bed, and could not get up. She pressed the Life Alert button and help arrived shortly after. The two EMTs attendants helped her up, cleaned her up, and did it all while making her feel safe. They were fabulous!

My father fell on two separate occasions. Life Alert called me at my home soon after he contacted them through the pendant necklace. I was able to get to him quickly. I would not have any other way of knowing what happened without Life Alert and he could have laid there for hours.

I was having problems breathing. When I pushed the button for Life Alert, they were quick to talk to me. The Life Alert operator stayed on the line until medics got here. Life Alert even talked to the medics. Life Alert operator was great. I am glad my children insisted that I have Life Alert. Thank you for caring and wanting to help.

I had chest pain, shortness of breath, high blood pressure and high blood sugar. I pushed my Life Alert and EMTs got here very fast, checked blood pressure, blood sugar, and took me to the hospital where they gave me medications, I.V. and changed my blood pressure medicine. I have been fine since then. Life Alert called to check on me the next day.

I was in the basement trying to get rid of dead bees when my legs started to give out. I worked badly in trying to walk. Made it to recreation room. I couldn’t move my legs and got out of wind. Since I wasn’t able to move, the next best thing to do is to push my Life Alert button. EMS, police department, and fire responders showed up, got me upstairs and on my feet. Took about 5-7 minutes to come to the door and the rest is history.

Had an implant pulled and lost an excessive amount of blood -- at 11:15 p.m. got up to go to the bathroom, felt very nauseated and started throwing up blood. Got very, very weak and very dizzy. Could not even walk -- pressed my Life Alert and within a few minutes, the paramedics were here. Took me to the hospital. Very thankful for my Life Alert.

My mother fell and after being disoriented, was finally able to push her Life Alert button. Although she did not realize that she was injured and on the floor, she told the Life Alert staff member she was in bed and needed me, her daughter, to come over. The Life Alert staff member stayed on the line until I was called and was able to get to my mother. Life Alert then alerted paramedics. The Life Alert staff member was very calm, courteous, supportive, and efficient. I did not feel alone and was able to deal with the disturbing situation. Thank you to Life Alert!!

Three weeks ago, when I awoke I found myself turned around in my bed with my head hanging over the side of the bed. While attempting to get out of bed, (head front) I managed to wedge myself between my bed and some containers with stored clothing. Unable to move, I couldn’t reach my cell phone or my house phone. I was stuck! And very uncomfortable! I was able to push my Life Alert button-pendant and Life Alert was there to call for help. Thank you! Help came, climbed in my bedroom window, and helped me get unstuck. Afterwards, I got a key made and put it back for assistance if there was another emergency.

I fell on my living room floor as I was trying to get up out of my chair and go to bed. I could not get up, so I pressed my Life Alert button. The Life Alert operator responded immediately, and told me that help was on the way. She stayed with me until help arrived, and called me back later to see if I was alright. I am so glad I invested in Life Alert, even though I never thought I would need to use it. I could have been on the floor for hours or possibly days before anyone knew what had happened to me. Thank you, Life Alert.

I have a pacemaker and it acts up so paramedics got me to the hospital in time. If it wasn’t for Life Alert, I might have not been here. So people better have Life Alert. Life Alert is a life saver and old people should have it. I am 90 years old. Thank you. I’m doing fine now.

I fell out of bed -- wide awake and hurting. After pressing the Life Alert button on my monitor, they went into action. My daughter was called before she left for work and arrived at the hospital quickly. The Life Alert people were helpful and pleasant. Happened a month ago.

A smoke detector went off unexpectedly and the Life Alert representative called immediately and said that she had contacted the local fire department. She stayed on the line which provided an outlet for any questions or observations that I may have had. Life Alert instilled confidence in knowing that all relevant emergency personnel had been notified and that she would remain on the line until the matter was resolved. I appreciated this very much.

On October 30, 2015, I suddenly became very sick. I called my Life Alert and was very pleased with the speed it gave me. I got to the hospital very quick as I was the point of almost dying. Had it not been for my Life Alert, I might not have survived.

I was short of breath and could not breathe. I pushed my Life Alert button and told them I could not breathe. Was told EMTs would be right here. And it seemed as though they were here in my kitchen in a flash. I was put in the ambulance which was at my garage door. I am so thankful that I had this Life Alert system, as I was thinking about giving it up. I have been paying for one in six years, but Life Alert sure saved my life. Thanks a lot. I am 90 years old.

I got out of bed to go to the bathroom and fell due to what was later diagnosed as gout in my foot/ankle. I pushed my Life Alert button I had hanging around my neck and Life Alert immediately notified my sister who came to let the rescue services into my apartment. I was then transported to the hospital.

The fire alarm went off which notified Life Alert of smoke. A pot of vegetables had been left unattended on the stove and had boiled dry. A first responder was nearby and was there within a couple of minutes to remove the source of smoke, open windows, and alert grandma who was on the other side of the house and unaware of problem.

I was on my deck sweeping and lost my balance. Everything happened so fast I could not catch myself and knew as soon as I hit the click on my hip that it was broken. After calling help, I remembered I had the Life Alert on. Of course being outside, I didn’t know if it had picked up. It was a while before the ambulance found me but everyone had been contacted and alerted. I don’t know when I would have been found without the Life Alert.

The Life Alert alarm for the monitor gas was activated. It was beeping and I didn’t know how to turn it off. I called Life Alert to ask who I should call to turn it off, and the young girl told me to leave the house immediately and leave the lights on the porch so the responders could identify the house. It only took a few minutes and everyone was here. Thank you so much.

I fell out of bed while trying to get into bed, I slid to the floor and was unable to get up. My walker was on top of me. Life Alert called the ambulance, they helped me up and checked me out. I was okay and very grateful. Life Alert then called my stepdaughter and let her know I was okay. Thank you.

I have someone to check on me and help me: Life Alert, a button to push to bring help. I had extremely low blood sugar one night. Life Alert sent help. I got to my bathroom door one morning and passed out and hit my head on a solid wood chest. Life Alert sent help. Two days in hospital, ankle pain and test run. Two big knots on my head. No broken bones. My head was OK. Ankle pain bad.

On October 10, 2015, father eloped from residence. Caregiver didn’t know where he had gone. Life Alert contacted local police department and search party arrived in seconds to help find him. One hour and a half later, my father was safely found and returned back home. Thanks Life Alert! (This happened during Hurricane Joaquin.)

I fell in my garage and could not get up--pushed the Life Alert medallion and waited until I heard sirens--seemed to be a short time. My head and back hurt so much I didn’t look at my watch. I could not hear the Life Alert personnel but they must have gotten there to the fire department. Life Alert also called my daughter-in-law and she was at the hospital emergency room. Good to know the Life Alert system works--this time it was simple but it could have really been a greater emergency.

I got up and was very dizzy. I pushed the Life Alert button and EMTs came immediately. EMTs helped me get up, go to the bathroom, and waited until someone came to stay with me. They were there before I knew it. Thanks.

My mother lives with me, and although she was told to call me when she gets out of bed, she didn’t that night. She got to the door way of the bathroom and fell. We were able to use Life Alert to handle calling the EMTs so that I could stay with my mom.

Chest pain, shortness of breath, muscular pain in both arms and legs. Also, increasing feeling of numbness in all extremities and left face and neck. All the above accompanied with generalized weakness that was increasing. A scary situation for me. Thank God for Life Alert! Their rapid response got me to the emergency room and to further care.

My husband’s desk chair lost a roller and fell, trapping him under his desk. He was unable to physically press Life Alert’s wrist signal, but managed to press it against something and the Life Alert operator came on immediately. My husband was under the desk in a separate room but the Life Alert operator managed everything wonderfully.

Fell in front bathroom on the way to the bed. Pressed my Life Alert button--very sensitive and professional operation came on immediately and stayed with me until paramedics arrived about 15-20 minutes. So glad I have my Life Alert on me always.

On August 19, 2015, I was in my backyard turning off the garden hose. I tripped on a board and fell really hard on my left arm and side. I could sit up, but could not get up. It wasn’t too long when help came, two police men got me on my feet. I did not go to the hospital, but I should have. I appreciate all the Life Alert's help I have received. My life has been saved many times.

I live alone. The Life Alert staff was helpful in every way. For example, deciding what hospital to go to, helping to go there, my belongings needed, and locking my door. At the hospital, Life Alert let me know what was going on and did not leave until I was given a bed and introduced to staff.

I fell -- stabbed shoe of right foot, threw me forward, hitting the handle of my cart walker, cut head above eye 3 cm, broke left little finger. Pushed Life Alert button, called neighbor over, arrived in about ten minutes. Our emergency squad, and two others who were told not needed, came – I was sent to emergency room promptly. Bleeding had almost stopped by the time they arrived. Life Alert stayed on phone reassuring help is on the way - called family members.

On November 16, 2015, my mother’s residence had a fire while she was in it. The smoke detector was activated. My mom stated that she saw smoke, went back into her room and closed door. Then to the bathroom, and closed the door. Pressing her Life Alert pendant all the while she was trapped in her bathroom. She broke the window in her bathroom. Then the firemen picked her up and carried her out to the hospital.

I thought I was having an asthma attack. Became very short of breath. Tried to use my nebulizer and couldn't take in any air. I had my Life Alert necklace on. I pushed the Life Alert button. Life Alert saved me. Ambulance was here in 10 minutes. Life Alert gave them all of my medical information and contact information. I am so grateful for Life Alert! Best gift ever from my daughter!

I was given very loving care and made my Life Alert call an easy one. I was treated with very loving and understanding care. As you can see, I have problems expressing in writing. I just want to say I was satisfied with the Life Alert call in every way. Life Alert made an unpleasant situation into a pleasant one.

I had low sugar and blacked out. I fell to the floor and was out for a while. I came too enough to press the Life Alert button. EMS were here shortly. My sister came here and let them in. I now have an outside mechanism lockbox and everything is ready so they can get in.

On November 4th at 3 a.m. EST, I woke up unable to catch my breath. I took my blood pressure which was 193/118. My speech was slurring. Life Alert dispatcher contacted EMS and stayed with me until help arrived to take me to the hospital. Thank you. This is the fifth time Life Alert dispatcher has helped saved my life. I fell and could not get up on my own, as my knees are very bad. I can’t even kneel. I had Life Alert help me twice in the past. They are excellent and would not be without it. I recommend it to people all of the time. Thank you.

I suddenly got very dizzy and my hands were shaking and my daughter just happened to be coming at my home. She called Life Alert and EMTs came right away with the ambulance and took me to the hospital and they said I had a small heart attack.

I am an 87 year old lady who lives alone except I have Life Alert which I used recently when about 11 o’clock in the morning I started having chest pains. I used my Life Alert button and someone answered quickly. In fifteen minutes, I had a response from a fire department, which is near my home. Five men, a fire truck, and an ambulance came and I had a stint put in my heart and I am doing fine.

I felt a snap in my left hip and thought I had broken it but x-rays showed nothing. Life Alert sent help immediately and they (EMS people) were here within fifteen minutes. Life Alert stayed on the phone until help was here and notified my family.

I sometimes have problems controlling my legs and arms. I shake, then fall, even though I use a walker or cane. I wear my Life Alert device around my neck. When I fell in my hall, I hit my head on my walker and then fell backwards. I pushed my Life Alert and I heard from a woman’s voice in the dining room. She asked if I’d fallen. She could hear me! She then called the firemen who put me in a soft chair and put an ice pack on my knee. They offered to take me to the emergency room but I said no.

I had a heart attack and I pushed my Life Alert button and the EMTs were there in five minutes. I owe my life to Life Alert. They notified my family immediately. I would definitely recommend Life Alert to others.

Life Alert service was very prompt and professional. I had a compression fracture and blood work showing a very low reading of sodium—a threat to life.

I live alone - I fell from a chair and scraped my leg and broke skin into places and it started bleeding profusely. After the fact that I needed help, I pushed my Life Alert button. Alert responded immediately and I told what happened. Life Alert called the ambulance and my daughter. The ambulance arrived shortly after, took necessarily first aid. Took me to the hospital emergency, and my daughter and husband arrived at the hospital after cleaning the blood off kitchen floor. They took me home.

I passed out for the 4th time that week in my apartment and I finally pressed my wrist Life Alert as I could not get off or up from the living room floor at all. The paramedics arrived in about fifteen minutes and the Life Alert machine was talking to me with a nice gentleman keeping me calm. My family and friends were all notified and called me at the hospital. I was in the hospital for four days and could have died from a diabetes mistake. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

I find Life Alert the best thing for my mom’s needs. When I was not available to assist my mom, my alternate (daughter) was with her and walk her through every step. I was called immediately--a very quick response. Life Alert made a terrifying and challenging event smooth and fulfilling. Thank you.

I fell and hit my head and it was bleeding. I was scared and hit my Life Alert and someone answered immediately. An ambulance came very soon and took me to the hospital after checking me over. Then Life Alert called my daughter and they came and took me home. I had two staples put in my head. I have had your service for many years but this is the first time I needed it. Life Alert operator could hear her speaking although mother could not hear her due to hearing loss. Life Alert called me, her daughter, and we were there in five minutes to pick her up. Last July I fell with my ladder. I was only two steps up on a ladder and was trying to get a roller back into track. Something slipped and the ladder and I fell. I hit my head on the hood of my lawn tractor. I pushed the Life Alert alarm button. In a few minutes the ambulance and two deputy sheriffs came. They took me to the hospital. I stayed overnight. They put about 12 staples into my head.

My wife suffered a sudden stroke while at home on 10/01/15 and became unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, she awoke on the floor and was partly paralyzed, unable to get up. She was wearing the Life Alert pendant around her neck and was able to press it. Medical emergency personnel showed up at the house a short time later. The fact that a simultaneous phone call went out to a family member at another location was important because the family member then contacted a neighbor who had a key to the house so emergency personnel could gain access to the house and rush my wife to a nearby hospital.

I am so thankful I have Life Alert. It was 2 a.m., I was going to the bathroom. I don’t know what made me fall but I was at the front of the bed where I had a stand up mirror. I heard the mirror shatter as I fell. I could not get up. I pushed the button and Life Alert came on. I told them my situation and after a few questions, the fireman and rescue came. They were very nice. I could not have asked them to do more. They not only got me up and made sure I was OK but cleaned up the broken glass from the mirror and carried it onto the trash. It was three firemen and a lady. I will never be able to thank them enough.

Mother, age 92, was on the toilet and for the first time in her life could not get up. After being frantic for a few minutes, she remembered her Life Alert necklace and pushed the button. Paramedics were called and responded. They helped her up, checked her out and left. Life Alert is a God send!

On September 19, 2015 at 2:30 a.m., I was walking normally to the bathroom when I suddenly heard and felt my left lower leg crack. I went down to my knees. I live alone, could not reach my land line phone or my cell phone. I had on my Life Alert necklace and pushed the button. I’ve had it about three years and never used it before. Thank goodness it worked and was taken care of very promptly. My relatives were contacted and I am thankful for that and Life Alert!

She fell and broke her hip. She could not move to get to a telephone. She pressed her Life Alert button and they not only called 911, but called each family member on the call-list until they actually spoke with someone to get her help. Life Alert is well worth having. Life Alert saved her from hours of pain.

I can’t begin to tell you how happy I was when Life Alert was there for me during my recent emergency experience. The woman who answered my Life Alert call was just wonderful. She got help for me immediately and kept talking to me on the phone until help arrived. She was extremely kind and courteous and I just can’t thank Life Alert for all the help. My mother had been experiencing a frequent side effect of one of her medications which caused extreme constipation. Life Alert responded immediately when her discomfort caused her to become frightened to be alone. Not only did Life Alert send a rescue respond, they notified both my brother and I immediately letting us know the situation. Even had rescue personnel call us from her house for further instructions.

Very thankful for the Life Alert service. It’s there when I need medical help. It is reassuring to have the Life Alert operator “voice” from the receiver box. They make sure the paramedics are on the way and have entered my home to help me. Life Alert gives me and my family peace of mind knowing that medics coming is available to me during emergencies.

I am 91 years old and live alone. I started having heart problems. I took three nitrogen tablets and got no relief, so I called Life Alert and EMTs arrived right away and carried me to the hospital. EMTs had me stable by the time we reached the hospital. EMTs were very good to me. I received the very best care. I have used it two times since I had Life Alert put in. I am so pleased that I have Life Alert, it makes me feel so safe. I appreciate all of the help I have received, and they made me feel so secure. I am so glad I have Life Alert.

I had fallen out the back door. Life Alert acted promptly and I had the fire rescue truck arrived. They got me to my feet and asked questions about how I felt, etc. Life Alert people kept in contact the whole time and they even spoke to one of the rescue people to make sure everything was okay. I broke my ankle and had to wear a black boot. So when I was putting tin cans in the refrigerator, my boot got caught on the bottom of my refrigerator and threw me backward. I hit the chair with my head and cracked it open, it started to bleed so I hit my Life Alert button. Life Alert came, I was still on the floor and the two men came in and wrapped my head to stop the bleeding and they sent me to the ambulance and took me to the hospital.

I was at my old home trying to move things to my new home. I fell on the kitchen floor and my lady friend had tried to get me up and could not - even by placing a chair in front of me. I have both legs bad. I remembered my Life Alert. The squad men were there very soon. I had told the Life Alert operator that, “I didn’t have any injuries. No injury, no emergency, take their time.” Upon arrival, the courteous men checked on my hurts, helped me up, and made sure I was alright before leaving me. Thanks to all!

She fell down right outside the house. She pushed the Life Alert button. I believed Life Alert was trying to talk to her but Life Alert did not get a response from her. Life Alert contacted the closest family member and called the paramedics. Also, Life Alert called other family members until they heard from someone. The paramedics checked her and, thank God, they found her okay. I really appreciate the fact that Life Alert tried their best to get a hold of a family member to notify about the incident. Also, called the far-away member to inform that she was okay after the paramedics had seen her. I was very happy with the service Life Alert provided. Thank you for your service.

I fell while sorting laundry. I could not get up. I crawled around from room to room before I called Life Alert. They responded quickly with an ambulance and even the fire department came. Life Alert called my daughter and everything went smooth from there on. I did not need to go to the hospital. I will tell all of my friends who are my age to get Life Alert.

My mother fell and broke her femur. At 98, she was unable to move and thankfully had her Life Alert transmitter on. She tells us that she received an immediate response, and that your responder was very courteous, and immediately dispatched an ambulance. She was in the backyard and had to have assistance to help the paramedics to locate her. She was in constant communication the entire time. Thank you very much for providing such a critical service.
