Shortness of breath, I could not breathe. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I pushed the Life Alert button and voice came on. Five minutes later, four men from nearby fire station came and were so nice, very competent, and helpful; and took me to the emergency hospital for help. I'm anemic also.

When I fell, it was on my back. Having a bad back, I could not get up. The Life Alert staff was very good, kept talking to me until help arrived. While I was talking to her, she called my daughter. When we decided I was OK, Life Alert called my daughter back telling her I was OK. Very nice, I thought.

I passed out (did not fall) in my bathroom. I did not hit anything to hunt myself. I just could not get up. I had knee surgery in September 2013, so it’s hard to get up without something to hold on to. I pushed my Life Alert necklace then decided I didn’t need help and pushed it again--I got a call from Life Alert. An EMT was at my house within minutes. The Life Alert contacted my sister who was a mile away. Life Alert also called an ambulance. I had a UTI, which I'd never had before and never wish to have again. The next day, my daughter took me for an appointment with a surgeon to make a date for my surgery on my back. While I was waiting for my daughter to check me in at the hospital for blood, chest x-ray, and an EKG, I passed out again and my head hit a big aluminum column. No harm to my head but I spent 4 days in the hospital going through all kinds of tests to make sure my heart was okay. Now it’s funny, even hilarious, but not then. Glad I had the Life Alert necklace.

My husband went to bed early, and I decided to stay up and watch TV in the living room. I fell asleep while watching the TV. Apparently, my husband tried calling out to me, but I could not hear him. I heard the Life Alert system go off and ran into the bedroom. The Life Alert operator stayed online with me until the EMS came. It was comforting to have someone to talk to and give updates on my husband. My husband is doing well and was released the same day. Great job, thank you!

I had taken my garbage out and I must have locked my door behind me. I didn’t have my cane, cellphone, or keys with me. I tried to walk to the house next door. Nobody answered. I was able to get back to my steps and started having chest pains. It was hot and had no shade. The pains got worse. I told myself my Life Alert is supposed to work in the yard. I pushed Life Alert and of course I couldn’t hear or talk to anyone. I just prayed someone would come. I soon heard the sirens. EMTs took me to the hospital. I just kept telling everyone I was thankful for my Life Alert. It's truly a God's send. Thank you!

Since I have a heart condition, I have had to call Life Alert. They have been wonderful answering as quickly as possible when I tell the Life Alert operator that it is a heart problem and to send paramedics. Also, one other time Life Alert called me on the smoke alarm and told me to leave the house. There was a potato which caught on fire in the microwave almost no smoke but Life Alert called the fire department. Very quick response even though I told them it was not necessary they persisted. I recommend Life Alert to everyone. Since, I live alone I would never want to be without Life Alert! I realize there are other plans but no one is as good and reliable as Life Alert, and I tell everyone about Life Alert.

About 3am, I woke to go to the bathroom. My slippers were under a recliner. As I bent over to find them a table moved and I fell head first and landed on my hands. The telephone was out of reach. One of my hands were caught under my chest. I finally got it loose and felt the Life Alert pendant. Ambulance came and turned me over and got me to my feet. Life Alert called my neighbor. Thank you so much.

My dad fell in his bedroom and pressed Life Alert. They immediately called paramedics and our family. Dad didn’t break anything, paramedic did hear fluid in the lungs, gently put him in bed; he refused to go in an ambulance. We took him to the emergency room the next day when we found he had pneumonia. Thank you so much to them and Life Alert.

I had fire on the stove and I was in another room. I smelled something funny. Then the smoke alarm went off and Life Alert came on immediately and told me to go outside and the fire department came moments later. Fire dept. had fire contained and ran their fan to get smoke out.

Client was not feeling well, and we called the nurse and she was concerned about a possible heart problem and recommended going to the emergency room. We called Life Alert by pressing the pendant button. Life Alert responders checked client over and determined it was not necessary to go to the hospital. Vitals checked out OK. We agreed and it worked out fine. We agreed to see doctor soon.

My husband was in such bad pain, he couldn’t speak, and he was doubled over and thought he was getting a heart attack. Pressed button for Life Alert and someone responded immediately and help was here in a few minutes. Life Alert talked to us the whole time and asked if we wanted to call other names on list.

I fell in the bathroom and hit my right forehead on the tile and up against the door jam. I thought I had broken some ribs also. Life Alert was there and EMTs took me to the emergency. Other than a huge black eye and a knot on my forehead and bruised ribs, I’m okay! I am very satisfied with Life Alert!

On date of the incident, I was having a difficult time at getting to sleep. At approximately 4:00am, I got out of bed and took a sleeping pill (Ambien). Sometime between four and five in the morning, I got out of bed (sleep walking) and found myself on bathroom floor bleeding profusely from a head wound. I got my Life Alert pendant, knowing that I may have a serious injury, and called for help from Life Alert immediately. Life Alert operator came on the line and told her what happened, she said help is on its way. The Life Alert operator said she will stay with me until EMTs arrived, which she did talk to me constantly. I was taken to the hospital to close an approximately 6-inch laceration to my scalp. I will definitely recommend Life Alert to anyone.

Called Life Alert when father needed an ambulance. The man at Life Alert was very helpful and called an ambulance right away after asking me what was happening. He stayed on the line until EMTs showed up. Life Alert was a life saver in my mind!

I fell over backwards; hitting the back of my head very hard. I immediately called Life Alert. They called 911. Immediate response from paramedics. Return call from Life Alert. We were very pleased with service, as we only had service of Life Alert for 2-3 days.

Life Alert called me as soon as they could and called back to check on her status. Life Alert is always very polite and helpful when it comes to giving me details of my grandma and call back to check on if she got home.

It was 8am on July 21, 2016 when I slipped on a piece of card board in my bedroom. I fell on my left side. I was in bad pain but thought it would go away. It wasn’t until about 8-9pm I pushed my Life Alert pendant. I had an immediate response. Life Alert remained on the line until help arrived. I never knew such pain in my life. I was taken excellent, gentle and courteous care by all the staff. I had a fractured pelvis. I remained 5 days at the hospital and over three weeks at air force village. I tell many people about Life Alert! Keep up the good work!

My Life Alert CO detector went off. The fire department responded and took care of it. It appears my golf cart recharging gave off some CO and H2 gas. The Life Alert did what it was supposed to do! Life Alert operator was very professional and courteous! Excellent job!

I had Life Alert for one week. When I awoke at 1:30am, I knew I was very sick. After a short debate with myself as to "should I" or "shouldn't I," the decision was easy--press the Life Alert button! Someone was on the phone with me in a minute. She stayed with me until the ambulance came and she had spoken with the medic to make sure I was on the way to the hospital. My son and home health were also called! I now feel secure and my son rests well!!!

My father fell in his yard breaking his femur right leg. Pushed Life Alert wrist device, Life Alert responded. Emergency help arrived within 7 minutes. Life Alert notified us when dad arrived at the emergency room. We had to lock up the house and then followed. We were very pleased he had Life Alert to render quick help as he could have laid in his yard for an undisclosed amount of time in pain if he didn’t have it. Every elderly person living alone definitely should have Life Alert. We thank you, Life Alert, for your help when dad needed help.

Client was running a high fever, went down on the floor semiconscious but was still able to push his Life Alert around his neck. Because of this, he was able to get the help he needed without spending hours or days on the floor. And we probably would have lost him. His family thanks Life Alert and he is home, alive and being well!! Thank you.

I fell down my porch steps backward. I didn’t pass out. I had several places that was bleeding. Mostly my left leg had a deep gash, a huge bump on my head and several other cuts. I hit my Life Alert button and less than 10 minutes, the squad was here. EMTs were very helpful and kind. Life Alert did everything they could to make me comfortable.

At the gym center, I was using one of the machines that go up and down with hand pull from left to right pull down. When I reached for the second pulley, I lost my balance and fell to the floor and hit my head. I went for my Life Alert button, pressed it and within 10 minutes, medical arrived and checked me out. The best part was everyone at the club was impressed how EMTs arrived and my Life Alert button was a great service to getting help. I am fine now after a bad headache. No gym for two weeks and my Life Alert is my best friend. Thank you!

I found my husband on the bedroom floor at 12 midnight unconscious. My son tried to get him up but was unable to do it. We called Life Alert and within 15 minutes, they had an ambulance respond. He was taken to the emergency room and found he had a massive stroke. We appreciate Life Alert’s immediate response.

Tripped when sandal caught on curb, fell, hurt left side, and fractured elbow. I contacted Life Alert; they sent an ambulance. Life Alert stayed with me the whole time, even talked to the lady staying with me. Life Alert was with me in an ambulance talking to the gentleman helping me. The Life Alert people are the best even at home they have answered questions for me about my equipment.

I was sitting at the table and my daughter came in and I was passed out with my head on the table. She called Life Alert and EMTs were here in just a few moments. They took me to the hospital and were very nice and concerned about me. I am very thankful for Life Alert. I live alone and don’t have to worry about emergencies.

Client was sitting on the bed. He was going to go to his potty. He went to stand--slid right off on the floor. He wasn’t hurt (Praise God) but Life Alert was with him until he got help. He had had a TIA (stroke) the day before, wasn’t steady. Thank you so much.

I had picked up a stomach virus and was getting dehydrated. I needed help at the hospital with fluids. EMTs was here in 10 minutes to get me to the hospital. Excellent service. I am glad I can depend on Life Alert.

Life Alert called EMTs for help, and helped me to feel comfortable after I fell to the floor off my computer chair. Life Alert staff told EMTs, who came with support and made sure I was okay. I did not get hurt. I just could not get up at that time. My knee would not budge. I am okay now. Thank you for everything and for caring.

I had lost my balance, fallen, and could not get up without help. I’m 92 and live alone. Used my Life Alert and two very nice men were here in no time to get me up and check me over -- all fit. Offered to take me to the hospital but I refused. I wasn’t hurt. I’m 92 now but incident was several years ago.

I had fallen and could not get up by myself. I called Life Alert and within minutes, the EMTs were here. EMTs picked me up and put me back in my chair. Most courteous and nicest people I ever dealt with. So thank you for the quick response.

I got out of the rocker to go to the bathroom, when I lost my balance and fell down. That has happened before, but that night, I didn’t have the strength to pull myself up. So, I pressed the Life Alert button and within ten minutes, EMTs were here to help me. EMTs thought I should go to the hospital and get checked out. That was probably a good move because they found out that I had a bladder infection. That, most likely, was the reason that I didn’t have the strength to get myself up.

Fell down steps, hit head on step and had a four inch laceration above eye that extended across top of head. I had Life Alert pendant on neck, immediately pressed for help. Life Alert guy on console responded and told me that ambulance was on the way. Ambulance was here within five minutes and remained on the console line until paramedics were with me.

I woke up in middle of night with extreme vertigo and was unable to get out of bed and get to a phone. My Life Alert button was by my bed so I pushed the Life Alert button and got an immediate response. An ambulance was called and I was admitted to the hospital for treatment. So thankful I had Life Alert that called my sister and the ambulance.

I had to call 911 for my mother who was having a hard time breathing. I used her Life Alert necklace button. The Life Alert staff person contacted the paramedics and stayed on line with my mother and me, until the paramedics came and confirmed with Life Alert. They would take it from there. My mother is now home and doing much better.

I fell off the bed getting up and called Life Alert. They got my family and EMS, and I was taken to the hospital. Life Alert stayed on the line with me until help and EMS arrived. Life Alert talked with EMS personnel and gave them all information they needed. They were the best.

On 6/2/16, a friend slipped and was thrown off the stairs and landed on the concrete. She was watching out for her brother, stepping down backward who with his friend -- both taking down a piece of furniture to his truck. The above was told to me by client, I was inside. When I found out what happened, I called Life Alert and the medics were here within less than 5-10 minutes. Client could not get up, her left wrist was hurting. The result of her fall: her left femur was cracked (she has two pins) and her left wrist was broken. She had been going to the rehab center after she was released from the hospital. She has been home for two weeks or so. She is doing well and she is fortunate to have a daughter within 5 minutes where she lives. She had another daughter who stayed with her the past two weeks when she came home from the rehab center. She still has a rehab helper who comes daily to continue her treatment.

I collapsed when my blood sugar was low (I’m type 1 diabetic), striking my head on the bathroom counter. I was bleeding badly and unable to move. When I pressed my Life Alert button, the response was instant! Life Alert dispatcher stayed with me until the paramedics arrived and this was very helpful.

Our mother fell during the night and was able to push her Life Alert button. EMTs and fire department were there in a few minutes. Life Alert’s team called everyone on her list to let us know what had happened. The Life Alert team kept us informed and let us know what the EMTs were going to do. Thank you to the Life Alert team.

Mom had experienced a couple of falls due to a temporary medical condition and Life Alert helped her and contacted me and my siblings as soon as mom pressed her Life Alert pendant. Thank you, we value Life Alert and its service.

As the only living child of a Life Alert customer (my mother), I was very satisfied with the service right up until my mother died. I called them to cancel the account, the person was telling me what things I needed to return. She asked about a handheld device that my mother would have taken outside the home, which was essentially a cell phone that called them.

I fell in the bathroom, breaking my left hip. My left knee was located by my breast and I hit my head on the wall very hard. I thought they will never find me in here and then I realized I had my Life Alert. I pushed Life Alert and in just a few minutes, my neighbors and the EMS arrived. I had hip surgery two days later.

This had happened twice. I fell down at home and could not reach a telephone. I pressed the Life Alert button on my necklace and talked to Life Alert through the machine, which was across the room. Life Alert asked what kind of help I needed. I told them to call 911 and have them send a fire truck to help me up. Life Alert stayed on the phone with me until they came. Life Alert asked how the firemen could get in. I told them there was a code for the lock on the front door. Life Alert was very supportive and reassuring and even called me back to make sure I got the help I needed. I was very thankful I had Life Alert.

I felt strange. I was drooling and my right arm felt like it was asleep. I called my cardiologist and was told to go to the hospital. We called Life Alert and within three minutes, help was here. I had a stroke, and thanks to Life Alert’s fast response, I didn’t have any lasting effects. We would recommend Life Alert.

I was bringing in the empty trash can when I leaned forward to pick up the lid; I lost my balance and fell forward on my face. This was outside my garage. The removal of my skin, starting at my upward forward hairline and continuing over my chin, down the bridge of my nose and cheek left me with most 1/2 of my face raw to the flesh. I’m just now healing. I wear my Life Alert around my neck and was able to call 911 using it. The ambulance was here within 5 minutes! Thank you, Life Alert!

I was feeling light-headed. My blood pressure was and kept dropping. I called Life Alert; they kept me calm. Life Alert told me a policeman was on his way. Then, Life Alert notified me an ambulance was coming. The EMTs took my blood pressure. I was slowly rising. I was dehydrated. EMTs put me on an IV; got the fluid in me for four days.

I had sugar and water on stove to make hummingbird feed. I forgot it until the smoke alarm came on. I looked in the kitchen--all smoke and took pan off the stove. Life Alert called and said to open all doors and windows, they called the fire department. Two neighbors came right away. Life Alert called the fire department--they brought a fire truck and put a fan to draw smoke out.

I found my mother laying on the floor in front of the door. She was there for quite some time after she fell. I called Life Alert and the Life Alert operator stayed on the line with me until the paramedics came. Life Alert was courteous and respectful! I would highly recommend Life Alert to others. I have used Life Alert service many times and I thank you for doing an excellent job.

I was running a temperature of 104 degrees, incoherent, and could not put one foot in front of the other. My family pressed the Life Alert and EMTs were here in a couple of minutes. When I arrived at the hospital, I was told I had pneumonia, severe UTI and was septic. My hospital stay was 29 days. I thank Life Alert for saving my life.

My mom was experiencing what she thought were stroke symptoms around midnight while she was in bed. She pushed the Life Alert button and Life Alert's excellently trained employees took over! I had just taken my Fosamax tablet at 6am. I was sitting in a chair, when I opened my eyes I was on the floor! Everything was black--I crawled up onto a chair and pressed Life Alert! I could hear sirens. I slowly got up and with help of a chair, I walked/pushed down the hall to open door for the men. I had low-blood-sugar. I am under doctor’s care. I was having chest pain, I couldn't get any relief. Took Mylanta--continued to get worse. I got scared; I notified Life Alert. Life Alert made me feel secure that I would be OK and help was on the way. So thankful to have Life Alert.

I think it was a reaction to new medication--loss of equilibrium, vomiting, dizzy, weak--could not stand. Life Alert contacted the fire department immediately and they rushed me to the emergency. Life Alert also contacted my contacts, both of whom responded immediately also.

I pressed the Life Alert button on my wrist band and three men appeared in my bedroom. Wow! At 7am, I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom. I lost consciousness and collapsed. Hitting the floor, I became conscious but could not get up and my head was bleeding. I pressed the button on the Life Alert pendant I wear on my wrist and immediately talked to the operator on my console. She called my daughter, the fire rescue squad and paramedics. I spent overnight in the hospital, had my head stapled and several tests.

I fell and Life Alert responded immediately. Help was at my door quickly. Life Alert followed up and checked on me after help arrived. I am 90 years old, I live alone but I am not alone as long as I have Life Alert. Thank you for your help.

I have arthritis in my whole body. My knees are very sore. I have a problem getting up and down. I sat down in a chair, my knees gave out on me and I couldn't get up. I tried and tried to get help myself; so I finally punched for Life Alert. In just a few minutes, two EMT men came and picked me up on my feet. I wasn't hurt.

I thought I was having a heart attack. I really felt bad and being alone made it worse. I called Life Alert and a great young lady called the squad and made certain I had a friend with me. She did a good job notifying people to help me. I spent five days in the hospital and am grateful Life Alert was there in my time of need!

On Tuesday, I was in the bathroom. Even with a raised toilet seat and a grab-bar I could not pull myself off of the toilet. I pushed my Life Alert button and a dispatcher’s voice came on. A few minutes later, I don’t know how long it was when the ambulance and fire truck came to my apartment to offer assistance. A few hours later, the Life Alert dispatcher called me to make sure that I was okay! I am not in this situation very often, but when I am, it scares me beyond words! Thank you for all the help!

I fell and struck skull on carpeted hallway floor. I remained down and pressed Life Alert. Immediate response and help on the way reassuring me and my emotions of being scared and concerned because of head striking floor full force, face down. A Life Alert female voice comforting and reassuring giving advice to stay down and help was on the way. Fast response by EMTs, transported to trauma center at the hospital. Admitted for scans and tests for 24hr observations and discharged with nothing more than soreness and bruising. Thank you, Life Alert! I have spread the good word about Life Alert to friends!

I have drop-foot (right side) and cannot walk safely without my brace. I carelessly walked out on my front porch (concrete) in my sock feet, my sock stuck to the concrete and caused me to fall. I was not hurt. However, I needed Life Alert to get me up. Help was here in a few minutes.

I was having a diabetic coma attack and my daughter alerted Life Alert. Life Alert stayed on the alert system with her until the ambulance arrived, and they treated me very nice and explained what was happening to me. I would tell anyone about Life Alert because you all saved my life. Thank you.

I feel much safer in my home with Life Alert. I know I can call them anytime and Life Alert’s response is always fast. Everyone is courteous and always ask if I feel alright or if anything hurts. I am very glad I have this Life Alert service.

Client had a mess in her bathroom. She cleaned it up and got light-headed when she came out. She had taken her Life Alert button off to change clothes. She fell into the table and couldn’t get up. She laid there and I came home. She couldn’t get to Life Alert until I came home. We called Life Alert as soon as I arrived, got a very quick response. EMS showed up shortly. After, Life Alert checked later on to see if she was all OK. The follow-up is good.

My mother had fallen down and she is too heavy for me to lift up, so I called Life Alert. EMTs came in about 7 minutes and helped my mom. The two men were very polite and patient with my mother. I couldn’t have been happier with how easy the Life Alert system is to use.

I passed out. When I woke up, I was very dizzy and had a large lump over my right eyebrow. I pressed my Life Alert button and the responders took me to the emergency room at the hospital. I was checked and transferred to another hospital.

I was in my backyard watering my plants. I struck my foot on a high root from a tree and fell. I managed to turn over and get my Life Alert button from my pocket. Life Alert heard my call, and in a few minutes the ambulance was there and carried me to the emergency room and stopped the bleeding. Thanks.

We had a breathing emergency with my mom who lives alone. The Life Alert response person was very reassuring and acted very quick and professional. She felt very safe until help arrived.

The day of this incident, he had just entered our home using a walker and needing my help when he became so weak, he could not continue and was lowered to the floor. Unfortunately, I could not get him up by myself so I called Life Alert. Immediate response, help here quickly, stayed on phone until EMS arrived.

The morning I fell and broke my wrist, it was 5:15 am. I was home alone. EMTs let themselves in, got me off the floor, took me to the bathroom, and got me ready to go to the hospital. Life Alert called all of my family. I have called Life Alert many times and they are the best. Thank you.

Life Alert answered right away. I have used Life Alert a few times and was very satisfied, EMTs were here in no time at all. I am very glad I have it. I have three sons and they are the ones who suggested getting Life Alert.

When I found my mother in an emergent situation, Life Alert stayed on the phone with me and dispatched the appropriate and skilled paramedics and got my mother to the emergency room quickly so that she could be treated for her congested heart failure.

I fell in my apartment and could not get up after trying to do so. I finally decided to call for help. The EMTs could not get into my apartment because I could not rise. As they were discussing taking the door off, the superintendent arrived with a door key and let them in. I was uninjured and declined a trip to the hospital. Super suggested I get a lock box which I plan to do.

Mom was feeling pressure on her chest on the left and shortness of breath. Life Alert was called. Immediately EMTs were dispatched to mom’s apartment. The EMTs administered minor care to mom and transported her to the emergency room. Life Alert was quick to respond and courteous. Life Alert stayed on the phone until we left! Two thumbs up!

I fell and got lodged between my dresser and bed and couldn't get up. My grandkids got five 12-packs of Pepsi out of my car for me and they put them in long ways instead of sideways. I thought I could get around them, but couldn't with my walker. So I got my walker caught on them and tripped and fell with my walker on top of me! I had to get Life Alert to get paramedics to get me up.

I was cleaning up my patio and leaned over to put a plant platter down when I stepped back and tripped on a small incline and fell backwards. I bumped my head on the cement wall and could not get up. I called Life Alert and they dispatched everyone. Thank you.

On one of my chores around the house, I got sick. I could not get back up on my feet or legs (too weak) and away from my table phone. I only had my Life Alert machine accessible to me; so I was able to push the Life Alert button and communicate with a Life Alert attendant who assisted me until the paramedics arrived. Again, I thank you and I’m still grateful for your service.

In an effort to clean the bath mat in the base of my tub, after washing the mat with Clorox, I removed the mat from the tub and climbed into the tub to proceed with some further scrubbing when my feet slid on the floor of the tub. After slipping and sliding around for a few hours to no avail and realizing that the meals on wheels person would soon be arriving, I pressed the Life Alert button on my wrist band and moments later, actions started when local EMS workers surrounded my bathroom and proceeded to physically lift me from the tub. With modestly being no longer an issue, I dried myself, the tub got cleaned, and I went on with my day.

This was the first experience in calling Life Alert and it was very satisfactory. The emergency vehicle was prompt and the emergency men were very helpful telling me I needed to go to the emergency room for a CAT scan of my head as I had fallen on it. I didn’t know this so it was very helpful to me.

My mom became weak while getting ready for bed. She went down to the ground. Life Alert called 911 and called me. Life Alert stayed with my mom and her caregiver until help arrived.

Client fell as she was coming into the house. I pushed the Life Alert button and had help right away with the EMTs and firemen showing up in a matter of minutes. She was helped up and into the house by a very courteous and caring crew.

I’ve had Life Alert for a lot of years. In June, I fell and broke my collar bone. The ambulance was here in a few minutes. I have nothing to say but GOOD about my experience with Life Alert.

I fell at home and the Life Alert called for an ambulance which was here in approximately 4 minutes. She then called my three daughters. She let the ambulance driver know which hospital I wanted to go to. She stayed on the line until I was gone. She was wonderful. My femur was broken in my left leg and I am now in a facility for therapy. Thank you!

I got overbalanced and fell. I wasn’t hurt but I couldn’t get up. I pushed the Life Alert button but didn’t think anyone heard me, so I scooted from the bedroom to the den to get to the phone. By the time I got in the den, my son got here and he got me up on a foot stool. Then medics got here. They were very nice, told them I wasn’t hurt just sore and bruised a little. This is the first time I had to call Life Alert.

I called Life Alert to update my information about my medication and who to call in case of an emergency. While I was on the phone, I was getting bad pains between my shoulder blades. The Life Alert person I was talking to asked if I needed help, and I said yes. So, he did his job and stayed talking to me for as long as he could until EMTs took over. It made me feel safe. Keep up the good work.

I was sitting on my couch eating breakfast when I had a sudden very short pain in my stomach. I waited a few minutes, thinking it would go away, but it didn’t. It remained constant. I tried some papaya tablets to relieve it, but that didn’t help either. After minutes of constant pain, I pressed my Life Alert button and within minutes, an ambulance transported me to the hospital. The lady who talked with me during time kept me constantly advised on to what was going on. She talked to me until the ambulance arrived. Great services!

Client fell in the garage while doing laundry. She was home alone at the time. Life Alert responded after mom pushed her Life Alert button. Life Alert called both my brothers and myself (we were on vacation). Life Alert also contacted the ambulance who arrived soon after.

On May 20th, I was outside feeding the humming birds. I have feeders on clothes lines. The line was too high for me and the "hook" I use to pull the line down fell away from me. I tried to hang the feeder anyway and by reaching up, I became unbalanced and fell backwards. I had my cell phone and I phone 911. While I lied on the ground, I decided to push my Life Alert button. The ambulance people told me an ambulance was on the way, and it was in sight at that moment. First time, I ever used Life Alert and found out that it really works.

I used Life Alert twice within one mouth. I live alone and Life Alert is a God send. The first time I had a pinched nerve in my spine. I ended up in rehab. The second time, I was black and blue in my whole pelvic area. It turned out I had a metal clip from a pelvis operation and it cut a muscle and caused the blood.

I am 88 years old and a caregiver for my 96 year old husband who has Alzheimer’s disease. I realized I was having a stroke at the very minute his nurse aide walked in the door. She pushed the Life Alert pendant button and the ambulance was there in less than five minutes. Because I got immediate help, I suffered no neurological damage.

My mother became ill one evening and got light headed and passed out and hit the floor, we called Life Alert and they had the fire department and ambulance there as soon as possible and they talked to Life Alert for us. We are very thankful for Life Alert! It is so worth the money each month.

The paramedics arrived within 10 minutes and they were kind and courteous at all times. The Life Alert rep on the phone talked to me until the paramedics were here. I am 93 and alone, so that was a big help. I would recommend Life Alert to friends.

I had pain in my stomach side. The EMTs people were very polite and helpful. I listened to their suggestion and I didn’t need to go to the hospital. EMTs asked if I wanted to go and I said no, the pain had lighten up.

Home alone. I had not locked the wheel on my walker, backed up to sit down and wheels started rolling. I sat down on floor and could not get up. I called Life Alert with my button. My husband fell at 2:30 am. His eyes were open and he was unresponsive. After calling his name several times and getting no answer, I pressed his Life Alert pendant. When the person came on line, I told her, "We need an ambulance." From that point, she handled everything, stayed on the line until the EMTs arrived, an even provided one of the EMTs with my husband’s health history and medications. Life Alert during an emergency - is priceless. We are very appreciative of the help. Additionally, we live on the county line. If I had had to dial "911" myself, it would have been a real "goat rope" contacting the correct responders. Life Alert was able to instantly connect with the nearest responders. Thank you!

I had pain that started in my jaw and into chest. My aid came in the morning, I still had the pain, so I pressed for Life Alert. EMTs came and I was taken to the hospital and then to rehab, everything turned out OK. I have used Life Alert numerous times and very satisfied with them.

My mother wasn’t feeling well. She pressed her Life Alert button. The Life Alert was not able to communicate with her efficiently. So a team was dispatched. They were helpful and took her to the hospital. Life Alert contacted all who needed to be.

I lost my balance and fell on my living room carpet. I only broke the skin on my right leg. It ripped a patch of skin back and I bled a lot as I am on aspirin. Life Alert helped by talking to me calmly. When neighbor and my daughter got here, Life Alert stayed on the line until ambulance arrived. Needed to be transported to the hospital.

I was visiting my aunt when suddenly, while sitting at the kitchen table, she became unresponsive and her tongue hanging and face twitching. I pushed the Life Alert button. Life Alert was honestly faster than 911. Client had fallen to the floor, but got himself back into bed and told me to press the Life Alert button. Heart attack with all four chambers of the heart effected. I truly believe it was Life Alert's promptness and that of the medics which allowed him to recover to the point he can once again drive a car at the age of almost 92 years old. If he had been alone--he was totally incapable of using a phone or an alert on the wall, he would have died. I happened to be legally blind and NEVER take the Life Alert button off my body--so I was able with only minimal vision to hit the Life Alert button. I am telling everyone to at least call Life Alert to inquire about your terrific service. The medics had called both of my sons before the medics were here and Life Alert representative remained in contact with me. Then Life Alert asked me to check all doors to be sure the house was secure and then asked if there’s ever anything they could do for me. Terrific service. Thank you.

I dropped a box while unloading groceries from my car and a corner hit my lower leg and lacerated it there. When I couldn't stop the bleeding, I pressed my Life Alert button and repeatedly said, "I am bleeding and I cannot get it to stop." Help was sent and my sister was alerted to my emergency.

I was trying to move a trash can for garbage day outside my garage when my shoe caught on a small step. I tripped--my head (forehead) hit the brick ground—just above my left eye. Anyway, the first thing I did was press my Life Alert button around my neck not knowing if you heard me, which you did. I was glad as (two passing by) gentlemen picked me up. I went to the hospital and had nine stitches in my head. Also, three firemen and ambulance came.

I have congestive heart failure and when I pushed my Life Alert help button, the operator came on line and stayed with me until the paramedics got here. She told me when they arrived and gave them my medicine list. I just couldn’t do without my Life Alert. It really is a life saver and the people are so caring and comforting who answers the phone. Life Alert stays calm which helps me to stay calm and assured they were still there. I cannot say enough good things as Life Alert is a wonderful service.

My Life Alert call was answered immediately by a young, calm, gentleman. He walked me through step by step of the procedures--calling the ambulance and informed me when they arrived, contacted family and kept reassuring me. I know his demeanor helped saved my life. I would readily and have recommended Life Alert to many people because of Life Alert’s immediate, efficient, encouraging service. I was going to get in the shower. It is a shower built for handicap people. I stepped in with my left foot and my foot slipped. I put my foot back on my mat and tried to wipe it. The second time I stepped in, I slipped and fell. Went in facing the back wall. When I realized what had happened, I was facing the bathroom and on the floor. I could not get up. Legs are very weak. I used my Life Alert and they responded immediately. Police were here quickly. Fire department arrived. I did not go to the hospital.

I use a cane daily due to weakness in my right side. I was coming home from church one Saturday, stopped in the parking lot, and opened the car doors, my cane dropped to the ground. Tried to retrieve it but couldn’t. Eventually, I slid to the ground and could not get up after trying for about an hour. I called Life Alert. EMTs responded in minutes, three men came. They were very polite, respectful and caring; took my tools and hand bag. I told them I could walk, so one was on my right and the other held my left hand. We walked slowly to the apartment. They took me inside and sat me in a chair. They asked me if I was comfortable, if there was anything I needed. I was very impressed as I said before, they were kind, polite and caring.

My mom could not get herself out of bed one morning. She used her Life Alert button and help was received rather promptly. EMTs got the keys from a neighbor and the paramedics took her to the hospital. She is getting physical therapy, and is doing much better! All people who are elderly, sick or just live alone should have Life Alert.

I had a fall recently and could not get up on my own. I pushed my Life Alert pendant button and got a response from a very nice Life Alert person. Life Alert person stayed in contact with me until help arrived. I was not hurt from the fall. A fireman noticed my very swollen feet and legs and said, “You’re going to the hospital.” I guess he was right. I was in the hospital for five days!

We were having a bad storm and at 4:30 am, there was a loud “crack” outside our house. I got up to see if everything was okay--I found that my washer and dryer had started acting up! The phone rang--Life Alert told me to get out of the house! I quickly dressed as the EMT and fire department were coming to my house. My Life Alert system did not go off in my house, but I guess it did at their office! My TV was out, the AC wouldn’t work and some lights were out! Since I was okay, EMS left. Firemen checked the house inside and out and couldn’t find where lightening had hit, but everything looked okay! Life Alert surely took fast action! Thanks! Things could have been a lot worse!

Due to a severed spinal cord, my balance is not very good at times. I was getting ready for bed and lost my balance. I have two phones, a land line and cellphone, just in case power goes out. I couldn't reach either one and fell. I pushed my Life Alert button and EMTs were there in less than 10 minutes. My son came in 5 minutes later. EMTs checked me and were very professional. Life Alert certainly gave me a peace of mind. Thank you!

I fell out of bed at 2:00 am. I could not get myself up. I pushed the Life Alert medallion button. Life Alert agent notified 911. He also phoned my two contacts on file. Fire and medics came. Life Alert agent told them the location of my hide-a-key. EMTs got me up and checked that I was OK, also talked to Life Alert and then left. Life Alert agent phoned my two contacts and told them I was OK.

I used my Life Alert because I fell on my back porch on a brick extension. I have had a balance problem--I was on my way to my clothes line--daylight still with me. I made the mistake of looking down and I realized that was a mistake. I went down and used my Life Alert button, EMTs came within a few minutes. Thank God for Life Alert!

While taking care of my pool, which is uphill from my house, I tripped and fell on the pebbled surround. I knew right away that something was broken--I couldn’t get up--so I pushed the Life Alert button. Because I was unsure whether the signal would reach the unit in the house, I wiggled closer, pushed the Life Alert button again, several times. The paramedics arrived and took me to a hospital where I was treated for a broken hip and cracked rib.

Although I was at work, my smoke alarm went off. Life Alert dispatched the fire department and everything was handled in a great way. Good responses from everyone. My son and my sister were called because I wasn’t at home. Thank you, Life Alert, for making me feel safe and secure.

Blood was running from surgery on my leg. It wouldn’t stop and I finally passed out. I awoke on the floor with blood still pouring out. I remembered to push the Life Alert button, and paramedics arrived. They said they couldn’t find any blood pressure and took me to the nearby hospital. Life Alert saved my life!

I fell outside at night. I pushed Life Alert button on my necklace for help. I didn’t know if I was close enough for my signal to pick up or not. Then Life Alert couldn’t get a response from me. After a few minutes, an ambulance arrived and took me to the emergency room.

I just got up out of bed, when I fell, and could not get up, I pressed the button on the Life Alert pendant and yelled at the dispatcher. The console was two rooms away, Life Alert helped me and called fire departments, EMTs, and police. They were all here in minutes. I was not hurt, so they put me back in bed.

It started on May 1st and I lied on the floor before I got help for six hours. The next day, I got Life Alert. Life Alert helped me to get emergency help when I needed it. I would recommend Life Alert to all of my friends.

On May 9th, I used my cane only on my patio and as I was stepping down one step I lost my balance and fell bumping my head on the patio door. I pushed the Life Alert button. The Life Alert team helped me. I was taken via ambulance to the hospital. June 4th, I fell in my family room. EMTs helped me get up and I requested to not go to the hospital. Life Alert kept my family informed about my condition.

Life Alert asked if I wanted hidden key disclosed to open door. I responded that I was able to open door for responders. That was a good question in case if I would have been disabled. That was good to know Life Alert was doing a very good job. All my two daughters were notified very well. Life Alert continued by communication after to make sure all was well with responders. Life Alert was outstanding. Thank you for that Life Alert person.

My mother fell and struck her head on the frame of her electric chair. She had an inch and half gash on her head. She was able to push the Life Alert button, but could not respond. Life Alert called me, explained the situation, and informed me they had called the EMTs and ambulance. My mom was conscience when I arrived; she was taken to the hospital. Life Alert remained on the line and wanted a “blow by blow” description of the situation and to speak with the EMT regarding her condition. Life Alert were very, very thorough and our family truly appreciates this. My mom is 95 and lives alone (against out better judgement!) and she could not be independent without the security Life Alert provides her. Thank you!

EMS arrived as family in transit. Decision to transport to local hospital emergency room. Father had UTI and blocked bile ducts which required a surgical procedure to save his life. I was up at 6:30 AM feeding my cats in the kitchen. When I was struck by an insulin attack, I collapsed to the floor. I called for help, but my live-in granddaughter was asleep in her room and didn’t respond. I pressed the button on my Life Alert neck band. I had only been wearing it a few days and a voice responded. I couldn’t answer but the paramedics were notified, responded and revived me.

I used my Life Alert button to call for help on the morning of May 7, 2016, because I was shaking and vomiting so much, I needed help. The response I got from Life Alert was great. The police, EMS paramedics, and fire department were here before I could make it to the living room to unlock the door and Life Alert was still talking to me. It was just a fantastic response. I thank Life Alert and I have to thank my city’s emergency team for everything. The hospital gave me excellent care. Oh, I had pneumonia in both lungs, I had no idea. So I thank Life Alert very much for the excellent help.

I live alone and had Life Alert for only a few months. I woke up and did not feel well. After a couple of hours, I knew I needed help. I could not stop vomiting. I pressed the Life Alert help box. The ambulance was here in minutes. I had a severe blood infection and was in the hospital for seventeen days.

Mom was having labored breathing and was distressed - used Life Alert and got an immediate connection. Life Alert operator checked information and called for ambulance. Had extreme abdominal pain--hesitated quite a long while before having the nerve to push my Life Alert button. When I finally did, I got an immediate response from Life Alert and within 10-15 minutes, EMTs were at my door. Very pleased with the Life Alert service.

My mother was reaching for the bathroom door and missed the handle. She bruised her arm as she fell. She went to the floor and couldn’t get up. She crawled to the front hallway and pushed her Life Alert button because she was too tired to go further and needed help. She opened the front door and a neighbor heard the Life Alert responder talk to my mother and she was able to help her up.

Around April 20, 2016, about 11:15PM, I was getting ready for bed when I sat on the edge of my bed to turn my lamp on when I slid off the edge and landed on the floor. I pushed my Life Alert button on and help was on its way. My friend arrived about the same time as the rescue squad and let them in, and found me sitting on the floor. One of the gentlemen told the other that he would raise me up and I told him I didn’t think so because I am a heavy weight and I think he said, “Oh yeah, I can.” Well, he had me on my feet in seconds. It was as if I was a feather. I couldn’t believe it. The help was unbelievable. Thank the lord for Life Alert’s help. I can’t praise them enough. I was in good hands.

My mother fell and fractured her hip. She was not wearing her Life Alert at the time, but my brother who was staying with her at the time, but in an altered state mentally, was able to push the Life Alert button. Life Alert’s competent staff notified all her daughters, myself, and concluded in a very timely manner! Life Alert responded to our return calls and kept us up to date on the events occurring to get my mother the medical intervention she required. Life Alert was awesome!

I was in extreme pain in my back on the right side--I called Life Alert. Life Alert sent the EMTs right away--and I was transported to the emergency room. I was treated for back sprain and UTI and released. This occurred at 4:00 AM on Sunday, April 3rd. I am very happy I have Life Alert.

I fell on my bathroom floor and could not get up. I pressed my Life Alert button and told them what happened. I had my Life Alert necklace on. Thank goodness. I could laid there a long time, as I live alone. Thank goodness for Life Alert.

My mother had fallen out of bed. The door to her apartment was locked but Life Alert assured her that they would in. Life Alert contacted me along with contacting her caregivers. When I arrived, my mother was back in her bed and she was fine.

I had fallen from my couch and could not get up as I need a wheel chair to move about. Life Alert notified my son by phone and the EMTs responded immediately and transported me to the hospital for evaluation.

Someone broke into my home on a Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Everyone in the neighbor was at church. I live alone and am mostly “home bound” except for going to the various doctor appointments and occasionally Red Lobster. Whoever it was, entered through the back door. I was sitting up in my hospital bed “texting” my son, that I was OK (something we do daily - he lives in another city with his family). I immediately called Life Alert. They called the police. The police came out and made a report. Thank God, I was not hurt and nothing was taken. He or she entered via a locked iron door and another door. Thanks Life Alert for the good work and job! I have recommended Life Alert to friends and neighbors.

I live in a town house complex. Often, kids or adults run between the town house complex banging windows and throwing rocks at the stucco house. Unfortunately, this scares me and also my cats panic and meow loudly. Life Alert and the police department responded immediately even though the intruders are gone when they arrived. The police department spreads out and searches the area which makes all residents feel better.

In one instant, I lost my balance and feeling. I grabbed the corner of a book case pulling it over. I didn’t hurt myself but was not able to get up. So I pushed my pendant to call Life Alert. EMTs arrived shortly and opened my apartment door with keys from my lock-box. They were very courteous and friendly. They helped me up and asked if I was OK. Did not need to go to the emergency room.

In preparation for going out and doing errands, I fell on our tiled hallway. In doing so, I hit my head on a corner of the wall—immediately had some heavy bleeding from my scalp. My husband was on another level of the house and unable to move fast or assist, so after I had checked for any altered neuro signs (I as a registered nurse), felt I was OK, but needed attention. I asked him to call Life Alert (push his button). We got an immediate response--rescue said I was stable but needed to go to the hospital. My status was good/stable all the time as informed by rescue and with the hospital post CAT scan. Received ten staples in my scalp, was discharged and had a follow-up. Thank you.

On April 29, my mother fell hitting her head and face. She quickly pressed her Life Alert necklace, which alerted me (in my bedroom). By the time I reached her, Life Alert was talking to her; they spoke to her in a calm voice, assured her emergency services were on their way. As they took information from me, EMTs arrived. Life Alert assured us we were in good hands. I truly believe if not for Life Alert, she would have bled to death in her bedroom and we would not have had that time together. Thank you!

I have spastic cerebral palsy. I fell getting out the shower and Life Alert stayed on the phone with my mom until they knew I needed help and help got to my house. Life Alert was very patient with me, asked me questions, and stayed with me and my mom until they knew for sure I was OK. Knowing that Life Alert is there to help when needed gives me and my family peace of mind.

My mother got up from the bed and fell on her back. It happened approximately at 3:30 AM. Life Alert called me and informed me that she needed help. Life Alert also called EMS. I live across the street from her so it only took me approximately 5 minutes to get to her house.

I had, in my community, develop a power failure during evening hours. Life Alert alerted me to see if I had enough oxygen. I answered them, “I did.” The Life Alert gentleman said if there was anything I need to please call him. Life Alert was very thoughtful and am happy that I had someone to fall back on.

I had not been feeling well for several days. My right leg was more swollen than usual. I took water, but still did not feel much better. No fever, but I was nonetheless concerned. I was having difficulty getting up and down to use the bathroom so much. Then, I began to feel light-headed so I pressed the Life Alert button on my wrist and the response was quick and within minutes, ambulance arrived and I was taken to the hospital. I had cellulitis which had become sepsis and I was in ICY for 2-3 days! I am home now and doing fine!

Life Alert are tops! My kidneys failed and potassium was critically high. I just fell on my face. Broke my right wrist, my left arm was under me so I pushed my Life Alert. I only remember bits and pieces. A Life Alert staff came on the phone and asked something. I said I fell and can’t get up. Life Alert told me they were calling my sons and as ambulance and they would stay with me until help arrived. I asked Life Alert to call my sister and they did. Everyone arrived and I was taken to the local emergency room then transferred to another.

I have used Life Alert several times with the best of results, the phone operators are very helpful and treat me very well. Also, the 911 operators that came to the house and transported me to the hospital are great. I feel anyone alone like I am, it’s the best money I spend a month. Thank you. I was in my yard, on my mobile scooter and the battery died. I thought I could push the scooter up to the porch where I could get my walker. Of course, it was harder than I thought and I fell. I couldn’t get up to continue. I pushed my Life Alert button, the Life Alert operator was so kind. She talked me through even though she was inside and I was outside. She called the squad. They came and within a few minutes, I was up and on my porch in no time. The Life Alert operator stayed on the line until all was well. The next day, Life Alert operator called to see if everything was alright and I was feeling OK. I thought that was the most thoughtful for the follow-up call.

In getting ready for Thanksgiving, I realized I had skipped dinner and began to feel weak (I am also diabetic). I ended up lying on the floor and summoned Life Alert. Life Alert representative alerted and sent an ambulance and called my relatives. I was taken to the nearest hospital and a couple of days later, sent to another hospital where I received one by-pass. I will be forever grateful for Life Alert’s prompt response and representative staying with and checking on me every few minutes.

My Life Alert was a Christmas gift from my four concerned children, the closest one to me is 400 miles. My balance is very poor so we are all aware of the possibility of my falling. In Late February, I did fall and even though I did not get hurt badly, I could not get up. So, I pushed my Life Alert and within 15 minutes, I had two very helpful, courteous gentlemen at my house. My children had been called and after I was up and fine--my children were all called again and informed that all was well. It is a good feeling of not being alone.

Got up to go to the bathroom, loss use of my legs. I dragged myself to the commode but could not get over the commode. Stayed on the floor until 7AM. I pushed the Life Alert button that I was wearing. Life Alert assured me that help was on the way. Life Alert is worth having.

I fell to the floor. Life Alert came on right away and helped me. The Life Alert person on the phone was very helpful. She checked with me on the phone every five minutes until the ambulance came to my home. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Thanks to all of the Life Alert staff. Thank you again.

When I was in town for three days in March 16, my furnace backfired in my trailer and set off the alarms. Life Alert all sent out the firemen and they put it out. There was no damage to my home, so Life Alert saved my home. Thank you.

My mother was dizzy and fell. She could not get up, so after an hour of trying to get herself up, she used her Life Alert button. Life Alert immediately sent paramedics and called family members. She is OK and realizes to hit the Life Alert button right away.

I fell in my apartment, and at first, I could not get up. I called Life Alert. There was a response on the Life Alert equipment in my kitchen. I managed to get up. When the responders came, they asked if I wanted to go to the hospital. I said, “Yes.” They promptly took me to the hospital of my choice.

Several men arrived within 5 minutes (just down the street.) Only one man was needed. He was very helpful--pulled me up off the floor. All were very kind and polite. I am very helpless now at 92. I didn’t know what I would do without Life Alert.

I was at home alone. I am 87 years old and I had a full blown vertigo attack, which ended me in the emergency room. Had a CT scan on the head. All is OK except for two ear infections. What a wonderful response from my Life Alert. Very well pleased at the response. Thank you!

Mother fainted on April 15 while wearing the Life Alert pendant. When able, she pushed her Life Alert call button and emergency assistance was dispatched and she was taken promptly to the emergency room. This even was critical to my mother’s recovery. She is 98 years old.

I had lifted something too heavy the day before. Something “popped” in my lower back. This caused severe muscle spasms and about 2AM, I thought I was going to pass out. Called Life Alert and went to the hospital. They gave me pain pills and muscle relaxers and sent me home. Have been going to a chiropractor since and now I am much better. Thank you!

While preparing for bed, I tripped on an extension cord. I fell, striking my head on a door knob. When I tried to get up, I could not. My left hip was broken. I pressed my Life Alert. EMTs were here in about five minutes. So kind and considerate.

I had fallen on the last day of March and could not get up as I had fell between my bed and dresser and could not get up as I had bottle knee replacement. So I had only had to push my Life Alert that I wear 24/7 around my neck and the ambulance was here within minutes of my call for help.

On April 8, 2016, I fell downward - I don’t remember anything. I must have pushed my Life Alert pendant. I found out later my blood pressure was 79/40. When I was in the ambulance, I happened to look and saw the roof and asked if I was in in ambulance. The paramedic said yes, I told him I did not remember anything. He said that is why I could not answer anything. I finally became aware in an emergency bed. I noticed the clock said 3PM. Life Alert responded immediately to my health emergency. If not, I could have been on the floor for hours. Life Alert saved me when I was in an extreme emergency.

Woke up in the middle of the night. My whole body was trembling. My legs were very weak. I pressed the Life Alert button. Right away, I heard someone talking downstairs. I did not have my hearing aids in, my mistake, because when I was tested, I brought it upstairs and could hear loud and clear. I did not answer to the caller. I was very shook up. Life Alert contacted my son and also sent the rescuers. I am very happy to be wearing this Life Alert on my wrist. If I ever have to press the Life Alert button again and talk, I know they will hear me.

I am very short of breath, dizzy and blood pressure had dropped. I pushed the Life Alert button and an ambulance and paramedics were called immediately. They quickly notified my daughter and they all arrived at the same time. They were very professional and took excellent care of me. I had to have emergency open heart surgery with four quarts and an aortic valve replacement. I was discharged 13 days later and came to my home. I live alone. In two days, I had acute CHF and had to call Life Alert again, I had excellent care and returned home in one week. Life Alert saved my life twice in two weeks!

Lost my balance and fell in the kitchen. I landed in a sitting position and knew I had to scoot into the dining room, which is carpeted, to try to get up. With “old” knee replacements, I still can’t get into a kneeling position and couldn’t pull myself up. The Life Alert operator answered immediately and after calling paramedics she continued to call until EMTs arrived. I really appreciate the call, about ten minutes after they left, to make sure I was OK. At 89 years old, it was great to know the help was available.

I was in a situation where I was having severe pain in my leg. I knew I needed prompt medical assistance so I pressed my Life Alert button. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, Life Alert personnel kept comforting me by telling me, “Help is on the way.” Life Alert also notified my contact person to alert her that I was having a problem but they had everything under control.

After being on the toilet for bowel movement, I got up too fast without thinking I got over extended and fell down onto one of my fluffy, throw rug. I haven’t been able to get up from the floor for a long time. After trying several times to get up, I finally pressed my Life Alert button and asked Life Alert for help. The Life Alert operator was very kind and helpful. The EMTs, and firemen were here soon after. They said the key was in the spot where the Life Alert operator had said. EMTs helped me up and were on their way soon after. Thank you.

My husband was experiencing vomiting and diarrhea and getting weaker to search the bathroom. I pushed my Life Alert button and in a second, there was someone listening to my emergency and acted quickly and an ambulance arrived and Life Alert stayed connected until we left for the hospital. Life Alert then called family members and alerted them of the situation. Can’t believe anyone would be without Life Alert’s help.

On February 18, 2016, the CO alarm went off. I did not hear it until Life Alert was warning me to get out of the house. I called the fire department. The fire department captain came and called a company to come and take care of the CO. Got it completely fixed the next morning. Life Alert probably saved my life.

On March 4 2016, at approximately 22:30 hours, my wife fell in the bathroom. I asked my wife if she could rollover so I could try to help her get to her knees, she could not and because I am over 73 years old and had my right shoulder replaced last month, I had to call Life Alert for help.

Tripped and fell--couldn't get up. I was finally able to pull myself up on to a chair. EMTs arrived and stayed with me until I was able to calm down and breathe normally. I have used Life Alert several times. Everyone is very kind. Getting Life Alert is the smartest thing I ever did.

I fell by my bathroom door and could not get up. Pressed my Life Alert call button. The lady on the phone talked to me and kept me calm. She called my daughter and son and the ambulance. The people on the ambulance was able to pick me up. Checked me out. I was not hurt. Thank God I have Life Alert, or else I would have been on the floor for at least four hours.

I have Meniere's disease and had the shingles at the same time. I had been vomiting all day long and was very dizzy with vertigo for 24 hours. I tried to call someone to help me, but couldn’t contact anyone. I finally pushed the Life Alert and paramedics came at the same time as my daughter. I asked not to go to the hospital, EMTs put me to bed because I was lying on the floor of the living room. The next day, my daughter and a friend took me to urgency care and I was lucky to get shots to stop vomiting. My potassium was very low.

I've had both knees replaced and both shoulders repaired. My balance is off and I fall; backyard, front yard or in the house. Now, I can push a Life Alert button and someone will come and pick me up. Before Life Alert, from the backyard, I could hear my dog run through the house. She would fly through the doggy doors, find me and lay down next to me and stay by me until I could get myself up; the longest time on the ground was six hours. Life Alert is much better.

I have had a couple of experiences and the one of two years ago--in August 2014, when I broke my right hip and one in October 2008--that’s when I broke my left shoulder and Life Alert staff of employees were great to me, my neighbors, and my relatives. I recommend Life Alert highly. I thank you.

I fell, I was unable to get up. When I pushed my Life Alert button, the operator asked immediately if I needed help. I said yes, told her my problem, she called the fire and emergency persons here in the backyard. The call was answered immediately, and was told help was on the way. Two paramedics and two firemen came here and had me up and checked in less than a half hour. They were so mannerly and kind. Life Alert called shortly after to see if I was OK and everything went according to the plan.

Recently my niece was here. She turned on the stove. Pot on wrong burner. The cover I had on the burner got too hot and started to smoke. The smoke alarm came on. She panicked and called Life Alert to get the fire department. I went and turned off the burner, opened the back door and turned on the fan. Life Alert asked her to identify herself and got me on the machine to show she was not a thief. Life Alert also had me to push my Life Alert button to see if it was working well. That is really caring about me. Thank you.

I got dizzy and fell in the bathroom. Due to not knowing where my hearing aids were, I couldn’t hear or respond to my call but Life Alert took over and called my son. He was here as soon as the ambulance came. Life Alert has come through for me several times.

I am almost 86 years old and was having some kind of a spell and wanted to be checked out at the hospital. I pushed my Life Alert and had help in minutes. Great help and I am OK. I think my problem was that I was not eating three meals a day, I am a diabetic.

My mother, at age 91, has become more confused and unsteady. This was a second time in a short period that she has used Life Alert. The Life Alert people that answered the first call noticed she was very confused and called us and an ambulance (at our request). They were so nice and efficient the second time she fell; Life Alert called us and ambulance. She was not injured. Life Alert have been so patient with her when she accidentally pushed the button.

I was doing some gardening and tripped and crashed into a trash container and a dolly. I have trouble with my left knee. I could not find anything to help me get up. I fell on hard cement driveway. After 15-20 minutes, I decided I had to call Life Alert. Thank God for my Life Alert necklace. Help arrived very soon and EMTs checked me over and I was OK.

I lost my balance in my kitchen and fell down. I was wearing my Life Alert pendant and I pressed the button and the dispatcher answered almost immediately. The ambulance was here within 10 minutes. They took me to the hospital where I was treated for a bump on my head and a large scrape on my elbow.

Life Alert called my son who was vacationing in another state. He was able to contact a neighbor who immediately entered my home and helped me up off the floor. Medics arrived and checked me out. I was bruised, but okay. Several years ago, I fell and didn’t push the button on Life Alert and lied on the floor for several hours. This was a much better solution to my fall.

On March 30, 2016, in a very early morning, my 93 year old father got a very, very painful chest pain. My family and I live with my father (we are all deaf except my father can hear but has some hearing loss due to his old age.) We cannot hear my father was having a horrible pain so he pushed the Life Alert button fast. Thank God the ambulance came and took my father to the emergency room. They tested x-rays, CAT scan, etc. and they found out my father had a heart attack and a very high blood pressure and blockage somewhere. He stayed in the hospital for four days. Now he is okay and is at home.

I was very sick. I was throwing up and other things. The Life Alert operator answered promptly and stayed with me and kept checking on me until the medics arrived. He was a great comfort and very nice. I am so glad I have Life Alert. I feel very confident and safe knowing I will have help when I need it.

I called Life Alert four or five times when I first moved to a town. I was recouping from a broken right femur. Life Alert stayed with me until the paramedics came. Life Alert also got paramedics when I had asthma attack and a lung infection. Very good group. I am glad I belong to Life Alert. I’ve told many people about Life Alert, some already have it.

After feeling unwell for a couple of days, I woke up on Wednesday, March 16, feeling terrible. My friend “punched the Life Alert button” and immediately Life Alert responded, resulting in the paramedics arriving promptly. I was admitted to the hospital with bronchial pneumonia, a urinary tract infection and sepsis, remaining there for 7 days. The Life Alert man was prompt, gracious, and very efficient in making the necessary contacts to my neighbor and family. Thank you so much!

Coming out of bathroom my legs gave way, I just sat down straight on the floor. Life Alert got EMTs and picked me up and sat me on my bed and I said thank you. I am fine now, 1/2 hour later, I got up to go to the bathroom again and my legs gave away again and I sat straight again on the floor and now EMTs came again. This time took me to the hospital, was there 4 days, test shown pneumonia but it was the flu.

I was very weak and running a low-grade fever. I found myself unable to get up so I summoned Life Alert. Medics came within 15-20 minutes. They took my blood pressure and temperature and they took me to the emergency room where I had lots of test. An antibiotic was prescribed and helped me get back to normal.
