My mother’s blood pressure was very low. We contacted Life Alert and an ambulance was dispatched quickly. The five EMR’s who reported to the scene were courteous and knowledgeable and took great care of my mother. Life Alert spoke with the EMR’s to ensure my mother was being cared for.

I was suddenly very ill - vomiting - called Life Alert. They kept me on the line until the ambulance arrived. I had to have emergency surgery that saved my life. Would not have survived the night without Life Alert - which I highly recommend.

I left to go out of town and my mother decided to boil eggs for breakfast. She then went to sit outside while leaving the stove on. Life Alert was alerted to the smoke in the house and called the fire dept. Life Alert then called me.

My husband woke up during the night experiencing increased breathing difficulty. We pressed the button on our Life Alert pendant and they immediately responded, called medical responders and kept reassuring us that help was on the way. Life Alert stayed on the line until the situation was resolved. We’ve only had Life Alert a few months but needed help several times already. We’re so grateful for this security.

Our father had fallen in the bathroom while trying to transfer from the wheelchair to the toilet. He was unable to recover, as a result he needed assistance. At the time, he was home alone. I fell in my bathroom about 10:30 PM. Was incapacitated but called on my Life Alert button. Response was quick and stayed on until emergency response came in a locked window- I had a broken rib and punctured lung….it give me comfort as it never needs charging… I’ve had my system three years since my husband passed and it saved me that night. My helper was here. Gave me a shower. Got out the shower. Got my toe tangled in a towel. Helper was very impressed by the courtesy of the dispatcher. She thought you had left the line. She could not believe that you were still on the line until help arrived. She was impressed.

I have a small brand cell phone. I only use very little. I give my number to no one except for family, I use it at night for time. It rang at 12:47 AM on 10-13-2019 at 12:47 AM. I asked caller what they wanted and he said, “I am on your porch”, I did not know who he was. I punched my Life Alert button and they called the police for me and stayed on line until they knew I was safe. Thank god for my Life Alert button. I feel much safer as I live alone.

My husband was working on a project and got engrossed- was sitting in his rolling walker and got too close to the edge of seat and the walker tipped over, taking him with it. He received two pretty serious skin tears on his arm and we called Life Alert. EMS came quickly, assessed the situation- determined no breaks, dressed his wound and took him to the ER to be checked out. He was treated and was returned home. Thankfully no bones cracked or broken. We were thankful for Life Alert!

I’m an 84 year old female who lives alone. While my daughter takes care of me, there are times I’m alone and this last episode, I got lightheaded and fell down. Pushed my Life Alert button and got a quick response. Dispatcher responded and I asked for help and paramedics checked out and all was good.

My mother was at the front door attempting to pick up a piece of mail from the floor. She went to turn around and she lost her balance. Life Alert allowed her to push the button and alert someone that she fell. Also allows family to be contacted immediately.

On Sept 23 I awoke with bad pain. It continued and got worse. I called on my Life Alert machine for help. I was home alone. They send two people plus an ambulance. EMS took me to hospital, where they said I had shingles. The two helpers were great. I’m so glad I have this help. I love this, it is worth what I pay for it. I fell in the kitchen and could not get up. Life Alert answered my button and summoned the fire dept. They came and helped me up. I was up within 15 minutes.

This was back in Aug of this year (2019). Patient was having trouble breathing and his oxygen level was running low. Thanks to Life Alert, the EMT’s arrived ASAP and we were able to get to the hospital and he was admitted. Life Alert is a godsend for us.

I called Life Alert and told them I need to get my power wheelchair unfolded. I told them I could unfold it halfway and I need to get help to unfold it all the way. The person I connected to was kind and helpful and waited til the help arrived and left. The help were very kind and good looking. They put in the control knob and battery and someone got into chair and tested it for me.

I have fallen several times. Life Alert has proven helpful very quickly. It gives me great security. I am alone much of the time and I would be down for a considerable time if I didn’t have Life Alert.

Somehow I knew I wasn’t feeling normal and was going to fall-never had felt like that before. I fell, hit my head and cut it open. I injured my back. The Life Alert staff was, as always, very helpful and professional.

I slid off my wheelchair. My provider pressed the Life Alert necklace. Service was quick. Fire department came fast. They lifted me up and placed me back on my recliner. Everything was fast and smooth. Great and quick service.

I was on my way to the bathroom, when all of a sudden, my whole right side, from my head to my toes, went completely numb. I had my cane with me and just made it to the bathroom. I sat on the seat and pressed the Life Alert button on my necklace. Your person answered immediately and got the fire dept. My husband fell backwards into the bathroom. The floor there is very slippery and I could not get him up myself. I called Life Alert and in less than ten minutes a strong young man came and in two minutes he had my husband on his feet. It was great and nobody was hurt. I was very glad we had Life Alert.

I had tripped over the wheel of my walker and fell down on the slate floor of my front hall and couldn’t get up. I called Life Alert and they called the fire department. I have had several falls in the last two months. I was unable to get up, having a chair nearby but couldn’t reach it. I had my Life Alert on as always and EMS got me off the floor. I am so happy I have Life Alert. I am 81 and live alone so I count on Life Alert.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! My mother was home alone on Sunday while we were at church. She decided she would go to the bathroom rather that use her night pot beside her bed. Fell on her way and by the grace of God she had remembered that if she press the button someone would hear her and respond and it worked perfectly well.

Patient was mowing on the east end of the house, where I couldn’t see him. Checked on him, but after I checked - things still happen. He went to get off the mower, caught his pant leg on the steering wheel and down he went, backwards into a rock garden, hit his head on some metal. He was bruised up but nothing broken. I think Life Alert had called me. When I got out there he had already called the paramedics, they came and got him up. He got back on the mower and finished it. It was three or four days then the aches and pains set in from the fall. Thank you, Life Alert.

I frequently fall because of a balance problem. Having a Life Alert button gives me confidence to stay in my own home.

My sister had Life Alert for 3-4 years. They responded to three calls on her behalf due to falls. They were prompt, courteous and very effective. The call team that notified the family after attending to my sister’s needs were very courteous and effective as well. If the need arises in the family again I would not hesitate to use Life Alert.

In July I used my Life Alert. I had stomach pains for over a week and needed to go to the hospital. Life Alert called an ambulance, my daughter, neighbors and my friend. They stayed with me until the ambulance arrived, and one of them talked to Life Alert. The service couldn’t have been any better.

I could not stand on my left leg, I hit my Life Alert button, someone came on the speaker and immediately asked what was wrong. I told them about my leg, he (Life Alert person) said he would send the police and paramedics, and stayed with me till they got here. We talked and he put me at ease, so did the police and paramedics. Thank god it was not a stroke again.

About 8 AM on 8/6/19 I was feeding the cats breakfast. One of the cats got in front of me and I fell flat on my face. I could not get up because of my hip and knee are all filled with arthritis (had both knees replaced) I could not pick myself off the floor. I pushed the Life Alert button on my neck. They answered right away and sent help to pick me up. Six policemen and firemen came.

I was home alone when I started experiencing stroke symptoms. I decided the use the Life Alert system and I’m so glad I did! The Life Alert agent stayed on the line with me until help arrived. That was very comforting.

Patient fell in living room and couldn’t get up. He was wearing his Life Alert pendant. Our son, who lives with him, came to him and they pushed the button. Life Alert quickly responded and I, as his emergency call person, was called immediately. It was a very good experience under the circumstances.

I was having an emergency and Life Alert responded and made myself and my care taker/ friends/ family feel comfortable and calm while we waited for an ambulance. I am a bit of a panicker so this was great.

Life Alert responded as soon as panic button was pressed. EMS was dispatched to help her. She had fallen down in the kitchen and hit her head. She had a gash and a bruised shoulder. She had to have staples to close up the wound. Thank you for responding so quick.

I was outside my home when I fell down. I knew I could not get up by myself. I pushed my alarm and Life Alert came on. (In the meantime, a neighbor came and helped me up.) I told Life Alert that I was OK, that a neighbor had helped me. I went to my home, and found Life Alert checking on me. I said I was OK, and they called two contacts, who also checked on me. I really thought Life Alert was excellent...continuing their care through.

At 4 AM, I woke up in pain due to a large(10 mil) kidney stone trying to get out! The pain was at 9 ½ so I had my husband push the Life Alert button to get me help! They came on right away and he explained the situation. We are out in farm country and not in a city so your people kept him informed as to how soon they could get here! The three guys in the ambulance were great!

1) I’m 82 years old, live alone, housework alone, trim bushes, good health, UNTIL… 2) I didn’t trip or twist anything, but POW! Woke up on the floor, recognizing the ceiling. Knew two things, couldn’t get up and my [Life Alert] pendant. Immediately, one sentence from pendant, one sentence from me, and I was assured help was on the way. Pendant asked if door key was in same place and I passed out again until reaching hospital. Life Alert explained my meds to EMS- called my family- saved my life.

I experienced a bout of A-Fib, which did not spontaneously cease. Pushed the Life Alert button and EMT’s showed up in 5-7 minutes, checked EKG on site, and transported me to the local hospital ER. One overnight. New RX’s. Checkup appt confirmed. All in all, pretty darn good!

We used Life Alert several times over the past couple months. They were always efficient in calling all the family members and had the ambulance at the house sometimes before we arrived. Very happy with the service.

I fell on my front porch and broke the two big bones in my left wrists. I pushed the Life Alert button and the person stayed on the line til the paramedic came and took me to the hospital. They were wonderful.

I was not hurt but I could not get up on my own. The paramedics got me up. The second time I fell I was not hurt and did not need the paramedics but Life Alert called my husband’s cell phone and brought a friend with him to help me up.

Fell over a vinyl carpet mat in my computer room and since I have a broken femur I couldn’t get up. I butt walked to the bathroom where my help button was placed by the Life Alert person that installed it. I was shaking all over on Sunday @ 3:15 AM. I thought I was experiencing Parkinson’s disease or a heart attack since I had been on a heart monitor previously. EMS responded within ten minutes, and immediately took me to the hospital nearby where I was admitted but later transferred to rehab facility for treatment and training to prevent further falls.

I was experiencing intense pain in the area of my right kidney. Life Alert immediately called an ambulance. Life Alert’s representative was very courteous and helpful as always. They had a hard time getting me up because of the place I fell. They did get me up finally and took me to the hospital. Everyone was nice. I am so glad I have Life Alert. Woke up with chest pain. I pressed the Life Alert button. Help arrived very quickly. Took me to ER. I was in the hospital three days. It was pneumonia.

Having dizzy spells- blood pressure dropped. Life Alert got an ambulance here in about ten minutes. Took me to the hospital immediately.

I had a pain in my chest, have no close relatives so I quickly punched my Life Alert button, which I wear 24/7. I could not believe how quickly EMS got to me and I live in a gated community! Two other times I believe they saved my life - cancer hemorrhaging and broken femur-outside-could not get up. Thank you, Life Alert!

I am very satisfied with the promptness of Life Alert’s response, the paramedics arrived very quickly and took me to the nearest hospital. I am very happy that I ordered this service because they answer instantly, thank God that this service exists.

Three weeks after prolapse rectal surgery, I started hemorrhaging from my rectum in the bathroom - I was terrified. No one home- so I pressed my Life Alert, and quickly called 2 daughters to rush them her. EMS was here very quickly, checked my vitals and took me by ambulance to hospital. They were quick, efficient, calm, spoke quietly to calm me and couldn’t have been more helpful. My daughters arrived and followed ambulance to hospital while other family was notified. I tripped on a mat and fell. I could not get up (bad knees). I pressed the button on my Life Alert pendant. In a few seconds, the operator answered and I told her the situation. In about 5-10 minutes, fire/rescue came to the door. They helped me on my feet (I was not injured). Life Alert stayed with me until help arrived and the firemen said I was OK. Thank you, Life Alert.

11 P.M. July 2nd or 3rd. Heard footsteps on deck outside my bedroom- then shots? Fire crackers? Not knowing what to do I chose to use my Life Alert button on my wrist. Answer was immediate. Male voice was loud, business-like, and in constant helpful contact re: contacting authorities, what I should do etc. Knowing a person of authority was with me until everything was handled by police, I am sure kept me from panicking. P.S. two young men were throwing fire crackers on my roof! I am 88 year old widow- alone. Thank you, Life Alert.

I fell but I wasn’t hurt- I can’t get up by myself due to arthritis- I know that someone will be right here to help me- there have been some break-ins in my neighborhood lately so the Life Alert makes me feel safer in that respect.

When I pushed my Life Alert button, I was almost out of my mind with pain but thank God the service from Life Alert was so fast and courteous that I would never be without it. Thank you so much.

Life Alert is a life saver. During the night, my mother woke up with a severe GI bleed. I was sleeping downstairs and did not hear her calling from the bathroom. Mom was home by herself- she fell that morning and hit her head (The doctor had just started her on blood thinners). Patient fell in the middle of the night while attempting to use the restroom, she was unable to move. Pushed her Life Alert button… ambulance was dispatched. Family finally heard the cell phone and picked up. Family got there shortly after ambulance.

Our mother declined rapidly due to pneumonia and sepsis. It was helpful for the family to be able to push the emergency button during a crisis situation and know help was on the way. I was contacted by Life Alert to let me know an ambulance had been dispatched, as well as when the ambulance was headed to the hospital. Arrival. The staff was kind, caring, courteous and calming. I had a very positive experience with Life Alert when I recently fell and broke my hip, I had my button on a chain around my neck- I knew as soon as I fell that I broke my hip. When I pressed the button a wonderful and helpful person answered. I was told she would help me and informed what was happening. This included-the firemen are here- they are opening the garage- the ambulance is on the way. I was told she would stay on the line until I was in the ambulance. It was all very comforting. I am 88 and live alone. I would not be without Life Alert! I am grateful that such a service exists.

I fell against the back door of my house. When I realized I couldn’t get up and was blocking the door (which wasn’t locked luckily), I pressed the Life Alert call pendant button- and scooted away from the door. Life Alert answered immediately- and the Fire Dept’s aid, and the ambulance soon appeared. The Life Alert person stayed on the line throughout it all.

I tripped stepping in the door and before I could get my leg in, the storm door closed quickly and tore my leg open. I’m on a blood thinner. I knew I couldn’t get up alone so I called for help. Life Alert responded, and help was on the way. I was taken to the hospital for stitches!

Started with pain in jaw- took 2 nitro pills- no relief so pressed Life Alert. EMS came, went to hospital ER, all OK, adjusted heart meds and went home. Thank you for all your help.

I tripped over my son’s pug dog when getting out of my computer chair. My head hit the closet door, my arm hit the bookcase and I eventually landed on the floor via my shoulder, arm and wrist/hand. Waiting about 20 minutes and checking for any signs of a stroke, I concluded something was wrong with my arm and hit the Life Alert button. Life Alert stayed on the phone with me until EMS arrived! Super service!

I thought I was having a stroke- was having a Bell’s Palsy attack- I have made test calls from various positions in my home to make sure Life Alert staff are able to hear me from different locations in my home- I was in my bed. There was no problem- Someone stayed with me until first responders and my son arrived. Also everyone else on my list arrived!

At 4:15 AM, I was scared and I also got very upset and couldn’t breathe. My Life Alert went off. The young lady on the other end was very polite to me and also helpful. She’s so kind to send out the ambulance to my home. The EMT came in the door and asked what was going on. I told them what had happened to me, they checked me out until I started to calm down. They asked if I needed to go to the hospital, I told them no. They treated me very nice and I’m proud to say I appreciate having out here. Keep up the good work. Thank you very much.

I haven’t needed emergency help but a couple times. When I did, help was there in only a couple minutes. Life Alert was very cordial and professional. I am left alone a lot for an hour or so, but it is very reassuring to know all I have to do is press a button.

I was weak and couldn’t get to the phone when my son called. When he found me unable to get up he got me Life Alert. A few days later I was very weak and passed out- when I recovered I felt weak so I decided to press the button. Promptly, first came the police officer then the ambulance. I was well taken care of.

It was 4 AM and I got up and I fell. I could not get up. I pressed the Life Alert button and then someone answered. I told them what happened, they called the paramedics and my neighbor, who had the key, to let them in. They also called my two sons and daughter. Your response was very quick and everyone was very helpful. I was OK. They asked me if I wanted to go to the hospital. I said no.

Life Alert alerted my fire dept, EMT’s, and family that I had fallen and was unable to get up myself because of the position that I was in. No injuries - Thank God!

When I fell in June Life Alert was there immediately to help me and take me to the hospital. I feel safe and secure with Life Alert.

When I moved into a senior living with pull cords and people to respond 24/7, I tried to cancel my service. I was not allowed to. I was told by the billing department that all they needed was a letter from my new residence confirming that I have an alert system here. We have continually faxed and emailed the letter and they insist they are not getting it. Sending by certified mail today. They are not customer friendly. Buyer beware.
