My mother was standing on her bed trying to adjust the ceiling fan. She fell off and hit her head on her window sill. She called Life Alert and they sent the EMT/ambulance to her residence. They then contacted her emergency contacts.

Called Life Alert because mom had shortness of breath. Everything went smoothly and Life Alert stayed on the line until medical staff was done with them.

I had fallen and could not get myself up. Your Life Alert person continued to talk to me on the phone – after firemen came to the rescue, your Life Alert person asked if I was ok. Thank you.

My experience with Life Alert was very positive. Life Alert saved my life and I thank you.

I am her daughter and care giver. When she got up the day I called Life Alert, mom had fallen. I also live with her. I heard her calling me to help. She has dementia so she was talking strange by telling she was going to die, and calling her mom and dad to help her also. I tried to pick her up myself but I couldn’t. BTW! Life Alert has never disappointed us!

I sincerely slid to the floor in the garage and attempted to use both hands to fill a small pail with kitty litter. I just lost my balance because I couldn’t hold onto something steady – I needed both hands to fill the pail. However – there was nothing to hold onto to pull myself up – so all that was needed was for the ambulance people to pull me up!

I had been experiencing falls, no injuries. A friend was staying with me at the time of this event and said, “Let’s use your Life Alert pendant.” So we did, and EMT were here in about 15 minutes. She had to let them in the gate. All went well. This led to having a key coded box installed at the gate. Emergency responders were notified of the box and code. It has been a great relief having the key box there.

I fell twice, each time they came quickly and helped me off the floor, and took me to the ER. They were nice and professional.

Very polite and courteous. They stayed on line until the ambulance arrived.

If you are living alone, young and old should have this service. A young adult could easily fall in the bathtub without any help around and the cell phone is on the counter.

My husband, who has Parkinson’s disease, had a fall and suffered a skin tear on his arm. Life Alert was called and EMT arrived quickly and transported him to the emergency

Sunday, July 5, 2020, I became dizzy. My Life Alert button was heavenly. Passed out on recliner just briefly and Life Alert was there immediately, and emergency personnel came quickly and got me to the hospital. Thank you, Life Alert!

We have had only good experiences using Life Alert. It’s great when an emergency happens and you are too nervous or upset to find your phone to call 911. Thank you, Life Alert, we recommend.

I had fallen off the bed. I can’t kneel because of knee replacements. Life Alert got in touch with paramedics. They were here in no time. Life Alert also had my meds list which they gave to the paramedics. I was more embarrassed than hurt. Paramedics were great.

I tripped over my own 2 feet. Fell in the kitchen. I laid on the floor for a while until I remembered my necklace alert button. They could not hear me (family nor Life Alert) so they called 911 and then my family (who I live with). 911 came and took me to the hospital. I broke my hip. If not for Life Alert, I would have laid there for hours.

When I called, I mean, you know I pushed my alert button around my neck, they responded that second. And very helpful every step of the way. It was my daughter-in-law that needed help. At 3:30 a.m., I exited my bed to go to the bathroom located in the room next to my bedroom – and my legs failed to support me causing me to fall head-long into the corner door facing. Blood was gushing from the top of my head so I hit the floor. I immediately pushed the Life Alert button around my neck and help was on the way. Ambulance, EMTs, Hospital, 12-15 staples (not hospitalized). Staples now removed. Thanks to Life Alert system!

On Aug. 3, 2020. I pressed my Life Alert button to get an ambulance to get me to the hospital for a bladder infection and kidney stones. They were here fast and the person at Life Alert was very helpful. Thank you.

I went to the bathroom around three or four pm. I reached for the handicap rail. I missed it and I fell backward. After a while, I realized I could not get up on my own. I mashed the buzz for help. Everyone was very helpful and polite. The help came, got me up and helped me. My family came. Thank God for Life Alert.

I fell and could not get up. Thank God I have Life Alert and you came to my rescue. Three men showed up a few minutes after I called and I was treated so nice. I feel so safe with Life Alert service. I live alone and don’t have anyone to help me.

My husband fell using his walker to get to the bathroom at 11:30 pm. He fell or blacked out, and went down very hard. He broke/fractured his hip. I hit the button in the shower and had a quick response and an ambulance was on the way.

I was in the back yard and I fell. I couldn’t get up and I did not have my phone to call for help. Thank God I had my Life Alert button. Life Alert sent help and the firemen helped me up after I yelled for them that I was in the backyard and to come through the gate.

I have fallen out of bed five times, out of a chair once, and on the kitchen floor once – and last of all – on the back porch. At no time do I recall any symptoms preceding fainting but I simply blacked out suddenly and woke up face down, unable to get up. I pressed my Life Alert each time and was rushed to the ER. Reasons for blacking out are not yet identified. Thank the Lord for the invention of your device!!

Promptly answered call and notified ambulance immediately. The operator stayed online with me and kept checking on the circumstances. When the ambulance arrived they confirmed their arrival. We have no complaints about Life Alert. Thankful we have it, thanks to our daughter.

I had a severe edema in both of my legs, which was very painful. About three am on July 23, I had dozed off in my chair. When I got up to go to bed, because of the pain, my left leg gave out and I fell with my walker. I pushed my Life Alert button. My phone was not by me at that time. When the phone rang, I couldn’t answer it. After about 20-25 minutes, the ambulance came. Thank God for Life Alert.

My father became very confused and wouldn’t take his meds and thought we were trying to hurt him. He had a UTI that was severe. His doctor told us we needed to get him to the hospital. We called his Life Alert and they contacted the ambulance and police. Life Alert stayed online with us until they came.

Fell in the bathroom. Used the Life Alert pendant. Even though I was a distance from the main unit, they were able to hear me and dispatched ambulance right away. Also notified both of my sons and one of them were here before they had me in the ambulance.

I fell in our drive. It was being replaced, it was rock and clay base ready for concrete. I caught my left foot and fell really hard, hitting my left shoulder and head and entire left side. My left shoulder was broken in two places and had to be entirely replaced. My left arm was badly bruised as well as my hips and legs. We called Life Alert and the ambulance responded and took me to the hospital. Very polite and helpful.

The advertisement: “I fell and I can’t get up,” truly happened to my mother. Without Life Alert, I am not sure for how long she would have laid there.

I fell on the porch. Life Alert called police and first responders, ambulance, and people on my list. Ambulance people put a sheet around my back and pulled me right up. Luckily, I was ok. Thanks to Life Alert!!!

Life Alert is and has been very helpful and courteous during mother’s falls.

Mom was on an antibiotic for a UTI and had been experiencing loose stool. She became very lethargic and was moaning. She experienced sharp pain on right side of abdomen. We are so happy she has Life Alert! They were fantastic!

I’m so grateful to have this service – Thank you.

I have AFIB. After cleaning my kitchen and mopping the floor, I experienced a shortening in my breathing and I felt as if my heart was flopping in my chest- I took 2 aspirin and punched my Life Alert button. I fell on my cement porch and tried to get up- to no avail! I pressed my Life Alert wrist button and got an answer in a minute or two. I knew it was bad and I would not use the left foot at all. I had help in a short while and went to the hospital and found that I had broken a metatarsal bone on my foot. I still am not able to use it fully but am doing fine. If not for Life Alert I would have waited longer for help.

I work in a private residence as a nurse. The gentleman that I care for fell in the shower. Life Alert button was on shower door, easily accessible. They called the police/ fire dept. for me and kept in contact with us until help arrived.

Patient had fallen in the bathroom. He was not hurt, but wasn’t able to get up. The Life Alert person was helpful to him with encouragement and by calling the local medical response team from the fire department. We appreciate Life Alert’s calm presence and help.

I fell throwing some garbage away. No trees, etc. to pull myself up, crawled to my shrub, nothing strong enough to help me. I started praying and then remembered my Life Alert, pressed it, and sure enough, my son and the EMT’s came!! Happy I’m never without it.
