My husband was running a high fever, high blood pressure, and fast heart rate. He was septic. Life Alert got the ambulance here quickly and to the ER quickly. The Life Alert phone agent was very helpful and empathetic.

My mom fell in her kitchen on the 14th of March. She activated her alarm but was too far from the unit to be heard. Life Alert contacted myself and my brother, and emergency services. I live only about 2 minutes away and arrived at the same time as the EMT’s. She suffered a broken pelvis, but is now back home doing ok. Thanks to Life Alert!

Life Alert responded promptly. They were here quickly. They started asking questions to the patient and getting background information. They made her comfortable and prepared her for the trip to the hospital. We were very satisfied with the service.

I fell face down in my living area. I couldn’t turn over but I was able to push my Life Alert button and the system was heard in the next room. They couldn’t hear me but sent the fire truck and ambulance. I was alone because my spouse was in rehab with a broken ankle! I had opened the door and they were able to come in and lift me to my chair. My head and knees were bleeding.

My dad fell and I couldn’t get him up. It was 4 in the morning and we live in a rural area. I pushed his Life Alert button. The call was answered immediately and she stayed on the line with us until help arrived.

I had fallen a number of times and had to push for Life Alert with all my falls and they were right there and got emergency help right away. I woke up that day with severe pain in my abdomen. I didn’t have any idea what was causing it. I hit Life Alert and within 10 minutes, I was on my way to the hospital. Later found gallstones was the issue. Very happy to have had Life Alert.

I hadn’t felt good all day – very vague and detached – then knew I was falling but I was able to push my button and yell “help!” That was all I knew for the 2 days I was in the hospital. I live alone (with 2 dogs) on 10 acres. There is no way of knowing how long I would have laid on my living room floor – days – without Life Alert? I feel I owe my life to Life Alert.

Fell getting out of bed and hit her head on wooden TV stand, also tore the skin on her left arm. Life Alert had fire department personal come to our house and pick her up, bandaged her arm, and put her back in bed. I took her to the hospital where she underwent surgery on her neck.

I fell down and called my son, he and my grandson came and tried to get me up, but they could not do it. Then we called Life Alert, and a man and woman came and picked me up. I have violent reactions to some antibiotics. This particular incident was an allergic reaction to Macrobid. I took 1 pill about 10:00pm and by 2:00pm, I could not breathe. I just pushed my button and Life Alert stayed on the phone with me the whole time until paramedics arrived.

I’m the son, my mother had problems breathing, I pushed the Life Alert button and within 13 minutes someone was there, saved her life. I recommend this service to everyone, very important. Good service, well needed.

Husband had gone to the bathroom with his walker and was coming back to the master bedroom without his walker, he sometimes feels that just because he is older (100) that walkers are for “old people” and he doesn’t think he is old nor does he need to use his walker, well he does. I was extremely dizzy after a water aerobics class and afraid I'd fall (pass out) in the shower. Two ladies saw that I got home. I was afraid to rest very long for fear of passing out. I live alone. I called Life Alert and 2 vehicles came and 3-4 men in each took me to emergency at hospital. They got all info and hooked me up to equipment. I think. They were very nice and helpful.

I cancelled your service after an experience we had. I had your service for my Mother and Mother-in-law. When my Mom was found unresponsive, my sister pushed the button when she found her. The operator questioned whether it was a real emergency. Precious time passed before an ambulance was called (which we called). I asked for a full review of what happened and evidently no one thought it was important enough to check into since I never heard anything back. The person I talked to was not helpful nor were they concerned, so I wasn't surprised I didn't hear anything. There was a happy ending after my Mom spent several weeks in the hospital. She is doing okay now. We couldn't take a chance on something like that happening again so we now have a service we can trust.

I went to sit on the edge of my new mattress (7 inches higher than my old mattress) and it was too high and I slipped and fell and hit my head on the nightstand on the way to the floor. I have knee replacements and I couldn't get up, so I pushed my LifeAlert button. They were so quick in getting hold of the ambulance.

I was hit by a speeding car and the first thing I thought to do was push the Life Alert. They immediately assured me that help would be on the way. They stayed on communicating with me until I saw the ambulance arrived. My children were also notified immediately and were able to be contacted.

My dad had to go to the hospital. Life Alert kept us on the line and gave the paramedics all of the medical history so we didn’t need to worry about it. They gave us updates as to paramedics arrival as well.

I took a bad fall and couldn’t get up. Thank God I had my Life Alert button on. They got me help. I didn’t go to the hospital afterwards, but should have. I had to go a few days after because I broke my ribs and collar bone. I’m 88 years old and live out in the country all alone. I’m very thankful I have Life Alert.

Was getting up in the morning and felt a great pain in the chest. Called Life Alert, told them what I was feeling and they had an ambulance here in no time.

My mother moved to an assisted living situation. She wanted to cancel her membership with LifeLock. She was told she was in a contract and was not able to cancel. She was not treated well at all. After many attempts to cancel she gave up. So she paid for the service for over a year without the service being used and she was living in an assisted living home not even where the service was. No one would help until her card was lost. Then they threatened to send her to collections and wow guess what they canceled her account. However, all she wanted was to not pay the last remaining balance of 269 dollars as she had been paying them for well over a year. They would not even listen! With the way I was treated and my Mom was treated, I would never use them! No one would even listen to what I was trying to tell them or even think about helping her!

I was having a heart attack. I pushed the Life Alert button on my pendant and 1 minute later your agent was on line with me and – 2 ½ minutes later the EMT’s were at my front door. I was taken to the local hospital and – 2 ½ hours later my cardiologist had placed 2 stints. Thank you very much.

I was sitting on the edge of my bed and slid off, sitting on the floor. I wasn’t hurt, but I couldn’t get up without help! Just pushed the button which I wear at all times. The firemen (2) got me on my feet. Thanks to Life Alert! P.S. I am 92 years old.

I went to sit in my regular chair, somehow my wheel chair got away from me. I fell on my side (RT). The Life Alert staff was very courteous, medics were here right away. The Life Alert staff stayed on the system until medics left and called back to check on me.

My mother was not able to walk or stand, and needed to go to emergency. Life Alert dispatched the ambulance, stayed on the phone with me until they arrived, and spoke with one of the paramedics. After talking with him, they took my mother to the hospital.

I can’t think of but two times Life Alert has been called purposely, and they have been fast, courteous, and responsible to get 911 out here on the double; and stayed with me while awaiting the arrival of EMTs, talking while waiting to be sure I was not seriously in dire straits. One time was when I fell out of bed between bed and table, first time in 84 years that had happened. Same results. Yes, I am much impressed with Life Alert, as was the medical driver. As a matter of fact, I just finished talking to a friend about them.

Jan. 24 – 3:30am, I fell in my bedroom, next to my bed, I could not get up. I called Life Alert and they were at my home in about 10 minutes. Two firemen came, they were real nice and helpful. They took me to the hospital. After x-rays, I broke my leg in 2 places. The cast is off now, my left is healing. Thanks to Life Alert. I recommend Life Alert for anyone.

Wife fell in the bedroom while getting some water from the kitchen at 3am. Fell backwards while using a walker. No injuries but was unable to get up off her back. She woke me up, and I was not able to lift her either. There were no other options so we activated the Life Alert system. Quick response. In about 10 minutes the fire department responded with 1 engine and an EMT truck.

Life Alert person stayed on phone until help arrived. Then called back to see how I felt. Ambulance people were so kind and helpful. Many thanks to all.

Twice my father has fallen and not being able to contact me, his son, he pushed the button and the Life Alert staff expertly and professionally notified the local EMS and continued to contact me until they were successful.

This was not a serious emergency – but on about 4:30am one morning I was getting out of bed. I was too close to the edge of the bed and slid off and was sitting on the floor. Not being able to get up, I pressed my Life Alert and it was answered immediately. Paramedics soon came and lifted me up. I was not hurt and needed no further help. The paramedics were very helpful and concerned.

Life Alert answered promptly and even though I couldn’t answer them they kept calling and saying help was on the way. That helped tremendously – I always tell anyone who lives alone they should get one. Even if they are in the best of health. It’s like having a guardian angel as a roommate.

Life Alert was the best choice we could have ever made! The Life Alert staff were always helpful and kind. When they were helping us with our emergency they stayed on the phone with us until the ambulance arrived, then they spoke with one of the members of the first responders. Very helpful in a stressful situation! It was good to know they were there!

Due to a severe injury in Vietnam my back and both knees are replaced with metal. I do not fear a fall knowing help is only a touch of Life Alert’s wrist band. I have recommend your company to two individuals that has saved their lives.

I didn't pull the dining chair out all the way and slid out of my chair. I didn't get hurt but I pressed my Life Alert button because I couldn't get up. Response was quick and customer service was excellent. EMS arrived ASAP and my daughter was called by Life Alert and arrived when EMS did.

When I fell at home and broke my hip - Life Alert was so prompt! The personnel was so kind and fast! I would recommend Life Alert in a second! The personnel on the answering machine are so kind and understanding!

We had to use Life Alert twice. The first time was for my husband who had to be hospitalized because of blood clots in his chest and legs. The second time was for me because I had ignored all the symptoms of an UID infections and was hospitalized for a week.

Life Alert staff have always showed the highest regard for my mother and quickly responded to her needs in all situations. They have been respectful and courteous and always supportive and caring, staying on the line and following up with calls.

I was having a coughing/choking kind of attack. Two of my children happened to be with me, in my home (where I live alone - I'm 89) at the the time. They got very upset, but I said, and did, push my Life Alert button. I spoke (or my children did) with Life Alert on my monitor. The ambulance was here in no time and took me to the hospital. It was a very good experience and we all felt better, thank you.

I was having chest pains and difficulty breathing. Life Alert stayed on the line until the EMT's got here, talking to me and encouraging me. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I have since had heart valve replacement. I'm glad to have Life Alert.

I swallowed two pills (capsules) and they got stuck in my throat. I tried to drink a lot of water but never moved out and I was unable to talk and unable to breathe well. Hi everyone, just saw a Life Alert ad and it brought back some bad feeling I have for that company. What they do is great. But when they make a mistake that made the paramedic/firefighters break down our doors to get into my home to help my mom. Which they admitted doing. I’m glad that they were able to get in and help my mother. But I wish Life Alert would have done their job and tell the fireman that we have a lockbox (which Life Alert made us buy and put in) with a door key in it and also give the fireman the combination. Which they were supposed to do. I had to spend over $2000 to replace our double doors.

My brother decided to take a tub bath could not get out of the tub. After sitting there for 1/2 hour, he pushed the button near the tub. Paramedics were called and helped him out. Life Alert called to say that he was ok. I did not have to go to help out. I called him and he was ok.

I had slipped off the edge of my bed. Once I have fallen, my legs are useless. I let Life Alert know what had happened and they sent help right away. I live alone and Life Alert gives me great security.

I attempted to get to a desk and hung onto a chair with wheels. The chair tipped over and so did I and I was unable to get up. I pressed the Life Alert button and immediately was given help. I was contacted and told EMS was responding to my aunt who had fallen. I live over 2 hours away but assured them someone would be there to let them in. I tried to cancel the equipment when my mother went into assisted living. I live in Florida. My mom was in NJ. My sister was taking care of the details. I called. They refused to cancel till they had a death certificate. I told them it was outrageous. She passed a year later. I call 5x. No callback. I've still got the equipment. They are running a scam. Don't ever SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY.

July 5th, I fell in the dark and fractured my nose and a rib. Staff notified police and my family. My family was very pleased with Life Alert service. Nov 4th, I felt strange and had trouble thinking and speaking. Your staff member felt I was having a stroke. He had an ambulance here in no time. He stayed on the line talking to me and calming me. I appreciated that very much! I found at the hospital I was having TIA’s.

I have COPD and had an extremely difficulty time breathing, and called Life Alert. I ended up staying in the hospital 5 days. I live alone and Life Alert made me very comfortable while ambulance was on the way.

I fell in my home, because of severe weakness in my legs. The EMTs/paramedics where at my home within 5 minutes because Life Alert were “on the ball” so to speak. I have been helped by Life Alert several times in 2018. Thank all who helped.

I was changing from PJ’s to clothes. Turned around, lost balance, fell on bedroom floor, couldn’t get up – tried to pull up on bed, cedar chest, and my Hugo to no luck – punched button around my neck – the Life Alert man alerted firemen, called ambulance – I just needed help getting up from floor – by then firemen were leaving and my son was walking up – he had been alerted.

I fell and needed assistance getting up – the dispatcher stayed on the line assuring me help was on the way – he made sure the emergency attendants were in the room before he left – 20 minutes after all emergency attendants were gone the dispatcher called back to be sure I was okay.

When I was in a rehab facility recovering from a dislocation of my right hip, I laid on the floor for 7 hours waiting for someone to find me, I decided to call Life Alert for installation. That was the best thing I ever did because it saved my life on four more occasions. This last time, and all others, you communicated very well with rescue as to how to get into my house. My husband fell coming in from the garage and broke his hip. The response was prompt and the paramedics were thorough and courteous. The staff on the phone was very attentive. I think Life Alert is a wonderful service and would definitely recommended the service.

My mother was dizzy and unable to walk. I contacted Life Alert, who sent an ambulance to transport my mother to the hospital. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, the woman on the phone kept in contact with me and only hung up after the ambulance reached the house. She was calm and helpful.

My mother fell while returning to bed. No one was with her at the time. She pressed the Life Alert call button, family was alerted as was the paramedics. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital. That day Life Alert staff were very courteous and helpful.

My dad lost his balance and fell. I am his daughter – I arrived at his home a few minutes after he fell. He had contacted Life Alert – he was not seriously hurt. Life Alert is so good about keeping everyone calm and assuring us that help was on the way. I’m so glad he has this service.

I called Life Alert at around 5:00am as I had gotten up to get a glass of water out of refrigerator and I fell at the door. When I fall I can’t get up as I have arthritis in all my joints and can’t get up when I get down, and they were very good to me.

My sister fell off the bed and pushed the button on the necklace alarm she was wearing. I was unable to get her up and off the floor. I slipped out of my dinning chair when I bent over to pick something off the floor. I have knee replacements, both legs, and cannot use my knees to get up. I asked for help by pushing my Life Alert neck button. Operator asked if I needed help, I replied, “Yes.” I could not reach the phone, she called 911, and the fire and EMS came and helped me, I was not hurt. Thanks.

My electricity went out a 3:45a.m. and I didn’t have any heat, Life Alert called me to see if I was all right. I told them no, so they got the paramedics out here because I am on oxygen and they stayed on the line until I got some help and I was alright. Thank God for Life Alert for saving me.

I had an open wound which was bleeding like a fountain. Could not stop bleeding, called Life Alert, help arrived promptly, med tech team stopped bleeding, cleaned bathroom, disposed of badly soiled towels and put waste in trash, and took waste barrel out to curb.

Fell on wet leaves – forward. Hit forehead and landed on my knees. Both knees are replaced with titanium. I could not get up as I slid every time I tired. My son tried to help but I was in the middle of the leaves and he would slip when trying to get me up. I called Life Alert, they came promptly, got me up, and took me to emergency room as I had a head wound. My head did not hurt but my knees did. I had trouble walking.

I was at home alone at 12:15am when a very sharp pain in my left lung started, couldn’t breathe so I pushed the button on my necklace. The ambulance came right away and got me to the hospital. I have COPD and wear my Life Alert necklace 24-7.

We were burning leaves in our field next to our woods. The leaves were not burning as quickly as we had hoped and the wind was becoming strong and blowing embers into the woods. We feared starting the woods on fire so I used my Life Alert to call the fire department. Life Alert operator contacted the fire department and stayed on line until they came and she talked to them.

When I fell at home I pushed the button around my neck, and Life Alert responded in seconds and asked if I needed help. I explained what had happened and I instructed them how to respond to the EMTs as to getting into the house, and they stayed with me until the EMTs arrived. Don’t know what I would have done.

My mother had a stroke and fell when trying to get out of bed. Thankfully, she fell on her Life Alert button. I had a drug interaction which caused me to become very disoriented and confused at 2:00ish a.m. one morning. My niece needed help to get me off the floor and to the hospital. She activated the Life Alert button to get help. The Life Alert agent was a great help in getting this done.

Life Alert sent a representative to help install equipment and it would not work. The representative took the equipment with her and did not return it! So I was billed on my CC 196.00 and then again 71.96... Even though it was documented that the person they sent took the equipment with her, they refuse to credit my Credit card until their employee returns the equipment, and then say that may refund 100%? Bad Business! Take advantage of senior citizens.

I have had Life Alert since 2014. I have always been treated with respect, the service is very good and fast. They were here at my home within 10 minutes. They also called my 3 children to tell them I had fallen and was being taken care of. I have nothing but good to say about Life Alert, I tell my friends they should get this service!

Six months ago I had to have my right leg amputated. If I fall (which I did) I need two people to pick me up. Unfortunately there was only one person here (she is not very strong) - so I needed two strong bodies to help me back into the wheelchair. Life Alert was very kind and helpful.

I fell coming into my living room, in my nightgown and slippers, about 8a.m. (on Sept. 25, 2018) I think that was the date. I tried for one hour to get up by myself, but was not able to do it, so I pressed the button. Person on phone, from Life Alert, was very nice and helpful, she stayed on line with me till help arrived. I was not really hurt, so they just got me back up on my feet, very grateful for Life Alert. My last experience with Life Alert was very helpful and could have made a big change for me. The call for help only took a very few minutes before the paramedics were here. People have seen me with my necklace on and they ask what it is and I tell them that I wouldn’t be without it. I know there are other kinds out there but I would not change.

During my emergency - I couldn’t find someone to take me to urgent care so I pushed my button for Life Alert. While in the paramedic’s ambulance it was discovered I had a racing heart. Patient fell getting out of her lift chair and couldn’t get up without help. Life Alert called for EMTs and fire fighters who got her up and verified she wasn’t hurt. They also contacted my cell number, my home number, and my sister’s number to keep us informed.

I had migraine headache all day. My son came over to take me to the emergency room. We decided it would be best if we called for an ambulance. We pressed the help button and the Life Alert member was very calm and kept talking until the paramedics arrived. Once the paramedics arrived. I was having chest pain. I alerted Life Alert and an agent called the ambulance which arrived in 5 minutes. The agent stayed on the phone with me to keep me calm, then talked to police upon arrival. It was reassuring.

I had a very hard, unexpected fall involving a lot of blood but was able to press my Life Alert pendant, get up, and start to try to clean up. The Life Alert people were there almost immediately, cleaned up the blood on the floor, and took me to the hospital where I received fast and fabulous treatment for my various injuries. Life Alert also contacted my family as to my condition.

I fell in the hall at the front of our house. I called my niece – as soon as she got home, we called Life Alert for help. Two very nice young men came promptly – helped me up and asked if I needed to go to the ER. I did not go – the reason I could not get up was I have had 5 surgeries and could not put any pressure on them my legs.

I got sick in the middle of the night and my sister and sister-in-law decided to call Life Alert. I was kind of out of it for a bit. The EMT’s were very kind and helpful, they saved my life. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
