I was doing my morning housework when my Life Alert came on and said I had smoke in my house. Being in my 80’s I have lost my sense of taste and smell. The person on Life Alert asked if I wanted them to call the fire department and I said yes. They came and found my furnace was on the verge of blowing up and took over from there for me. Life Alert has come through several times when I have fallen. I highly recommend it.

I fell to the floor and could not rise. My daughter and son-in-law live behind my house, ½ block distance. I could not reach my phone so I pressed the button in my Life Alert neck piece. By speaking loudly to your “EMT”, they called my daughter so they could come over to lift me to a chair and stayed with me until I felt ok to be alone. God Bless you!

On Jan 1st 2020, I woke up at 1:00 PM and couldn’t get out of bed to go in the bathroom because of dizziness. I pushed the button on Life Alert and they responded to my call and they called my daughter so she could unlock the front door. EMS rushed me to the hospital and I spent the night. I will celebrate my 90th birthday tomorrow. I was having difficulty breathing. Life Alert button was pushed. Soon three big firemen came, put me in a stretcher, and off to the emergency room we went. Discovered I had three liters of fluid under my lungs. Love you!

I fell when getting up from a chair. Unable to get up- I pushed the Life Alert button on my neck alarm, and the help was on the speaker right away, it only took a few minutes and the EMT’s were here. I was not hurt- just not able to get on my feet.

I was leaning on my walker, while walking it tilted, with me falling on to the floor. Broke my right little finger and fractured right bicep. I was in my kitchen one morning and all of a sudden I had excruciating pain in my chest and knew it was a heart attack. I have Life Alert’s unit in my kitchen so pressed on it and almost immediately it was answered. I told them the seriousness of my problem, they asked for my phone number and within ten to fifteen minutes the ambulance was coming down my driveway and in another five to ten minutes I was in the hospital being seen by the doctor who immediately started the surgery to put a stent in my clogged artery. I feel your Life Alert system and your employee saved my life. I’m also grateful for the fact that the hospital is only a very short distance from where I live.

The phone staff (operator) were so courteous to me. I was out of town during my father’s medical emergency. They had all the information for him right away. Highly would recommend Life Alert!!

My husband was shaking and unable to get out of his chair or to walk. In fact, he could not even stand up. EMS came (thanks to Life Alert) quickly and took him to ER. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and was hospitalized for several days. Life Alert has truly been a “life saver” for us for many years.

Patient fell outside while getting the mail. The Life Alert operators stayed in contact until she knew patient was safely at the emergency room. That time, she contacted me, the paramedics, the secondary emergency contact, and then followed up with me several times. Great work.

My lungs are compromised and breathing became difficult. I have bi-lateral knee replacements which prohibit me from getting on my knees to raise myself up after a fall. Your wonderful Life Alert pendant allows the EMT’s to arrive and get me back on my feet! Wonderful service!

I was cleaning my litter box and lost my balance, fell backwards and hit my head on cabinet drawer and door. Crawled to bed and activated my Life Alert pendant. Minutes later, eight firemen were in my bedroom. They made sure I was OK and helped me return to my TV room. Life Alert was there the entire time. THANK YOU!!! Haven’t needed you for a while. On the occasions when I needed to contact Life Alert, they were always prompt and courteous. They were very quick in contacting my family and friends. I highly recommend them whenever I can.

I have a broken shoulder due to my knee collapsing. Consequently, I cannot put weight on my hand, arm or leg. I found myself on the floor and was unable to get up. I couldn’t reach the telephone. Patient fell at her home on December 13, 2019. Thank goodness she was wearing her Life Alert necklace. After activation, EMS arrived and successfully transported patient to the hospital ER for evaluation. Life Alert called contact numbers and stayed on the line with patient during rescue.

Every time my father needs assistance he pushes his Life Alert button and my father gets instant attention and help that he needs, I feel better knowing that my dad has instant access to emergency help 24 hours a day.

In the last eight years both my husband and myself have used the Life Alert system for emergency help. My father slid out of his lift chair as it was lifting him up. He fell on his right hip and broke it. My mom and his sitter could not lift him so momma hit the Life Alert pendant for help. I lost my balance on the front porch. I had a visiting angel over who came to help me with laundry, shopping, taking a wash. On 11-7-2019, I was so sick and my stomach hurt so bad , I thought I was going to pass out, it all came on sudden so I called Life Alert and they stayed on the system until the EMS came, EMS told Life Alert they were here. The EMS took over and got me to the hospital. All in all they saved my life. I was in the hospital for 4 days.

Our loved one suffered a stroke and first responders were there within fifteen minutes. We were thankful for Life Alert!

Soon after I got Life Alert on a Sunday afternoon, I slipped and fell two times. EMS quickly came to help me up and wanted to know if I needed to go to the hospital. I know that they would come if I needed them, that’s a wonderful thing when you are living by yourself for the first time in 89 years.

If I did not have Life Alert with me, I would not know what would have happened. Thank god for Life Alert.

My grandmother fell while at my mother’s home and my mother used Life Alert to assist with getting my grandmother to the hospital- she fell and broke her hip. Well worth the money and peace of mind.

My mom dropped the TV remote and leaned over to pick it up. She slipped off the chair in the living room. I had to call Life Alert because I cannot lift her. She wasn’t hurt.

Life Alert responded quickly with help getting my husband off the floor, and called later even to see how he was doing.

Life Alert responded quickly and dispatched paramedics quickly- kept family informed- stayed on line until complete- very efficient and friendly- cared about my wellbeing.

My sister fell coming out of the bathroom and couldn’t get up herself or with my help. Called Life Alert and they called the EMT’s. Help came within ten minutes. Life Alert was able to tell them all about her medical conditions and medicine she takes.

They were very helpful bringing my wife to the hospital and we were very lucky to have Life Alert. We don’t have a lot of friend or relatives, but I would recommend it to people, it’s worthwhile having it.

I was in severe back pain. Life Alert called an ambulance for me and stayed on the line until it came. To have someone to talk to when you’re hurting is worth more than words can say.

I tripped over an object in my home. I determined I needed help. I could not get up on my own. I pressed my Life Alert pendant and emergency help arrived and the necessary people (family and neighbors) were called. It didn’t take long for help to arrive and I’m thankful for Life Alert’s services.

I just got out of rehab. I used the toilet and didn’t have enough strength to get myself up, so I called Life Alert. They responded quickly and were very courteous.

Needed medical assistance, Life Alert contacted EMS and my family members. With immediate response. Very positive with Life Alert response.

I had to thank them because their prompt action made me feel safe and that should this had been a real emergency, I would have had backup.

Life Alert was helpful, my dad had two incidences where your services were necessary. Life Alert responded with the needed transport promptly. They waited with us (over their machine) until help arrived. Thank you so much.

In June I had a bad fall, which needed hospital treatment. Since I live alone (I am 94 years old) I pressed my Life Alert and in no time the ambulance arrived! In mid-October I had a stroke, and was able to call Life Alert- and as always they answered immediately and I was taken care of. Thank you!

My mother fell out of bed, could not get off the floor and no one was home to assist her. She pressed her Life Alert pendant and Life Alert called EMS and my neighbors and me. My mom was helped quickly and was OK as a result.

Early in the morning I was going to get up out of my lift chair when I just slid out and planted myself on the floor. I couldn’t get up and my husband couldn’t lift me so we decided to use my Life Alert. It worked beautifully, promptly, the operator was very helpful and an ambulance crew was here within a few minutes to help us.

My helper was here. Gave me a shower. Got out the shower. Got my toe tangled in a towel. Helper was very impressed by the courtesy of the dispatcher. She thought you had left the line. She could not believe that you were still on the line until help arrived. She was impressed.

I have a small brand cell phone. I only use very little. I give my number to no one except for family, I use it at night for time. It rang at 12:47 AM on 10-13-2019 at 12:47 AM. I asked caller what they wanted and he said, “I am on your porch”, I did not know who he was. I punched my Life Alert button and they called the police for me and stayed on line until they knew I was safe. Thank god for my Life Alert button. I feel much safer as I live alone.

My husband was working on a project and got engrossed- was sitting in his rolling walker and got too close to the edge of seat and the walker tipped over, taking him with it. He received two pretty serious skin tears on his arm and we called Life Alert. EMS came quickly, assessed the situation- determined no breaks, dressed his wound and took him to the ER to be checked out. He was treated and was returned home. I’m an 84 year old female who lives alone. While my daughter takes care of me, there are times I’m alone and this last episode, I got lightheaded and fell down. My husband fell backwards into the bathroom. The floor there is very slippery and I could not get him up myself. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! My mother was home alone on Sunday while we were at church. She decided she would go to the bathroom rather that use her night pot beside her bed. Fell on her way and by the grace of God she had remembered that if she press the button someone would hear her and respond and it worked perfectly well.

Patient was mowing on the east end of the house, where I couldn’t see him. Checked on him, but after I checked - things still happen. He went to get off the mower, caught his pant leg on the steering wheel and down he went, backwards into a rock garden, hit his head on some metal. He was bruised up but nothing broken.
