We used Life Alert a couple of times. Answered the phone right away and very helpful! The ambulance was there within 5-10 minutes! EMT’s very helpful and checked my mom thoroughly!

Although I had been with another company, and it was less expensive), however I received much more protection from Life Alert. Thankfully so far, I have not had an emergency.

Sign up was easy but listing responders very confusing. There are 2 lists. One is called responders and the other is notifiers. I ended up having both lists the same. The person I to couldn't explain the difference to me.

I leaned over to pull a weed from the front yard plantings near the house. I have two prosthetic hip joints. The left joint dislocated when I bent down and, of course, I fell. I yelled to alert my wife who pushed our Life Alert button. The e-unit arrived soon thereafter and transported me to our local hospital. I was anaesthetized and the joint was put back in place.

On the phone with my son when he noticed a change in speech. He is in NY, he told me to hit the Life Alert button. Last thing I remember was falling out of my chair. I was told I was found in my backyard, unresponsive. I had stopped breathing and a temperature of 107. I was intubated then transported. My brain was swelling due to lack of oxygen. You people saved my life. Response was in minutes. Thank you.

The Life Alert button we take to the car was just what we needed to get help when I fell outside, next to the car.

My father in law lost the use of his legs. He tried to sit in his recliner but slipped and fell, landing on his back where the seat area of the chair was. My gf almost passed away twice in 3 months from COPD. We got Life Alert because her attacks came by surprise, no warning. Her last attack put her into the hospital again, but this time the found a bad heart valve. They replaced the valve and she is no longer on oxygen. We still kept the system and during that time my Dad ended up needing to get a system. We were already paying $90.00 a month and not using the system so we wanted to have my Dad instead. We were told we couldn't do that either. I called and had the bad luck of getting Jasmin as my "customer service". She is very condescending and rude. We have a three year contract that We couldn't do anything other than pay.. "We had a contract" was her go to along with a little snicker to let me know how important she was.

I am pleased with the prompt and courteous service. I have only high praise for Life Alert.

A minor fall in the bathroom, chair slipped away and I sat down (I got a new wheelchair soon after). City Fire department was called, they are the VERY best, had good words to say about “Life Alert”!
